As a repeat customer I've always received great service from the sales team! Catherine Alvirena took care of us on this occasion. She went above and beyond to provide unbeatable customer service. We left feeling very satisfied with our purchase of a Toyota Prius for my 17-year-old daughter. I would definitely recommend working with her, she is very knowledgeable, and a wonderful and an asset to the Toyota group.

We submitted a web request to for more details in a vehicle and I did receive a call back quickly, but that was the last of the good customer service. Upon notifying the salesperson that I was on my way I had to ask for him three times once I got there with no updates in between from other staff , just looks, no one offered to help or said he was with a customer or anything. About half hour later, he finally shows up and says the car we were just discussing on the phone is at another lot. Why this could not be disclosed beforehand is beyond me, so he brushes me off on another salesperson literally who tried her best to find something, but her management didn't seem to interested in working with me. I asked to see another vehicle, which again, was not there and was told they could get it there next day. Long story short, we are five days later and no return phone calls have been returned regarding the matter. It's like they fell off the face of the earth because I didn't want my credit run that day. I have purchased vehicles in the past and gave never been asked to do a credit App before even seeing a car , especially when I have given you what am looking for an price range. Either way I will take my business elsewhere. Sad part is I was told they were military friendly, but A person shouldn't have to disclose their military status to be treated fairly initially.

Valdosta Toyota is a great place to buy a car, have your car serviced or just looking. We brought a 2014 Nissan sentra on Saturday. The over all process to sign paper work was just too long. We were there about 3 hours, just too long.soosh was a very nice young man. If you are looking to buy a car go by and see Soosh he will do his best to put you in car of your dreams.Tell Slosh Ken James sent you.

I came in to have new tires put on and an alignment.. 3 hours I sat here, not once did anyone apologize for my wait time. I guess since I own a GMC I wasn't as important as a Toyota owner.. I will never come here again and if anyone asks I will tell them not to go here either!!! Absolutely redicilous!!!

My daughter vehicle broke down and could not be driven. She is a student at VSU and we live in Atlanta. This was a difficult situation to say the least. I contacted Valdosta Toyota and they sent a courtesy vehicle to pick up my daughter and had her vehicle towed into the dealership. Since a part needed to be ordered she was provided a loaner car upon arrival. The kept in contact with me and updated me on the mechanical issue and the cost. I then received a phone call the next morning that the vehicle was ready for pick up. My daughter said "Dad the people at Valdosta Toyota were extremely nice." If you want exceptional customer service go to Valdosta Toyota!

I bought a one year old used Toyota Corolla car from this dealer 45 days ago. The sales people I was working with were Michael Cabral and Enrico, in our experience these people were not trustworthy. The information they gave (especially on the interest rate) was totally incorrect and misleading. Per the conversation with them, they had promised (multiple times) that they would do whatever necessary for the vehicle registration, but I had to go to the DMV office on the last day the temporary registration expired to apply and get the new registration/tag paying all the necessary fees. So, please read all the documents very carefully before signing it - don't take their word for it.

The sales representative Bob Dillon immediately got rude with my husband and I as soon as we told him what our monthly ideal was for payments. When we asked to look at some vehicles in a higher price range, he refused, claiming that it would be over "our budget". Even when we told him that we were willing to spend more to get exactly what we wanted, he would not offer any more help, and just stood there saying nothing. It was almost as if he were preaching to us, telling us to think about insurance and taxes. He did not run our credit, if he had I'm sure he would have wanted the sale then. He merely judged us and sent us on our way. It's a shame that a dealership with such seemingly impeccable reviews would be privy to someone with an attitude like this. Maybe he was just having a rough day, but if we do go back there, we will certainly NOT be working with him.

I live in FL and drove 160 miles to Valdosta to by a used Subaru Outback (super deal on a very low mileage 2008 in perfect condition). The salesman, Rick, and I spoke several times before I made the trip and could not have been more courteous, forthright or helpful. I was greatly impressed by the dealership as a whole, including the service dept. who on short notice put on a new set of tires before I departed. Great dealership.

In a nutshell, the entire experience was more than just horrible.I first found out about the car I was interested in from AutoTrader.com. I sent Valdosta Scion a request for information through Autotrader.com and received no response after multiple attempts. I then followed this up by giving an offer over the phone for the car that was flat out declined (by Chris Smith). The next day they reduced the price of the car from what I had offered. The new price was $5.00 less than what I had actually offered over the phone. So on a Thursday (in November 2014), I made the same offer as before and requested them to send me the breakdown of the cost with the details (again attempting with Chris Smith). I received no response. On Friday, I called in and either a Rodney or Ricky said they would send me the breakdown in ten minutes. I then received no further response. On Saturday, I then called again and this time talked to Chris and he gave me a break down on the phone. He added another $599.00 on top of the advertised price, and I told him he cant do that to which he responded, Yes sir, we can. I told him I will send him the link explaining why he could not as he needed to send me the written breakdown for my bank to issue a check. I waited (and waited) as it was Saturday and I wanted to get the check from the bank and get the car the same day. I sent him another e-mail almost two hours later. He finally sent me the break down without the $599.00 included. Also, while I was responding he sent me another e-mail asking me What are we thinking? - showing no patience whereas so far all I have done is been patient with them. I sent them all of my information with the bank details, notifying them that they had to send my bank the Bill of Sale or a Buyers Order in order to be able to cut a check. Apparently, they sent the bank an unofficial document that could not be used to cut the check. My agent had to call them and walk them through what they needed. In the mean time I went to my bank to make sure they could cut me the check before they closed. It took a while between the dealer and the agent could get the proper documentation that would enable them to cut me the check. The bank was very courteous (CU of Georgia) and let me stay inside for an hour after they had closed to help me get this check. The bank closed at 1PM and I walked out with a check at about 2PM. I needed a second driver so I called my friend and we decided since the dealer closes at 6 pm, it would be too close and any traffic incidents would make it impossible to get down there in time. So I called the dealer and told them this and he said that they are open on Sunday 1-5pm. We set up an appointment for 2 pm for Sunday. The next day, a friend, my roommate and my brother joined me for the road trip. When we got there, the car wasnt even washed. It was filthy and not prepared for sale. I have seen and looked at many cars, and this is the first time I saw a car on sale that was so dirty. Chris asked me if I had the check and I said Yes. I asked Chris if we could have a test drive, so he went in and he brought out the keys and I provided my drivers license. When he came out he asked again, You have the check, right? Because we have another customer inside doing financing inside. Again I told him Yes, I have the certified check from the bank. I asked him if we could get a courtesy car wash, to which he said cant. We took a drive around the dealership and when we returned he approached to us extending his arm with my driver license, saying they sold the car to another customer. I asked him, How can you do that? He said they are making more money with financing, so they are selling it to the other customer. He then tried to walk away. I stopped him and asked to speak to his manager. He pointed me to the counter. I went up the main counter and saw an employee (Dustin Arnold) looking at the screen. I stood there and he would not even acknowledge me. I asked him if this is how they treated their customers, stating I drove for almost four hours from well north of Atlanta to get this car for which I had made an appointment to which I am now being told they selling this car to someone else. He actually said We didnt ask you to drive. He said the car is being sold to another customer. I asked him So its not sold yet? He nodded. I confirmed I had the check and he needed to sell the car to me, because I made the deal first - to which he just replied No. I asked him to tell me why he would not sell me the car and he would not respond and avoided eye contact. He just ignored me. I asked him to explain why he was treating me like that to which he did say he did not need to say anything. All four of us were just stunned. I asked Dustin for his business card and asked him to write down why he would not sell the car to me. He said No. I eventually did receive his business card. I asked to speak to his manager and he said that he was the top person in there today. We just turned around and walked out as there wasnt anything else we could do.We proceeded to make the long drive back to Atlanta. I returned the check to the bank and was forced to pay interest to them for 4 days. In conclusion - the worst part of this experience is not the fact I didnt get the car. It was how I was treated. They did not even try to sell me the car. With the one car being sold, they did not even attempt to sell me another car. I had a check in hand and they turned down the business. They did not give me a call to notify me that there was another customer even though we had scheduled an appointment. They did not ask me to pay down on a deposit to secure the car. They did not tell me that they do not hold the car for a customer who is traveling such great distances. On top of that, the way they looked and treated me was so offending that I felt like I was the one who had burdened them. As I am a non-white customer, it really makes me wonder if perhaps I was treated different simply due to the color of my skin and my name. This was by far the worst customer service experience of my life from start to the end.

Believe in second chancesIf youve ever thrown the baby out with the bath water, then pay close attention to this cautionary experience. Nearly a year ago to the date of my most recent car purchase, I had what I considered to be a really bad experience with the collision department at Valdosta Toyota. I took my vehicle in for repair and they missed something. Im reasonable, understanding and sympatheticwhen you let meor at least I try to be. This was caught before I left the lot. No big deal, nobody's perfect, we all make mistakesfix it. Im not happy about this. In fact Im a little agitated, but thank God it was caught before I left the lot. Feel free to call it a lucky break, good fortune, or coincidence, but to me this was Devine Intervention. I was picking up my vehicle, days later than promised. I went to my car, opened the door and discovered my Husky floor liners were missing. The ones that had been keeping my beige carpet pristine since my vehicle purchase. Not only were they missing, there was no paper on the carpet, and there was dirt and sand in places that had never been dirty before. I was not happy, but while they looked for them, I decided to get my oil changed, since it was time and I was there already anyway. It was the service department that spotted the problem immediately when looking at my under carriage. They showed it to me. Now Im really agitated. My car is obviously not ready yet, my liners are missing, the interior of my vehicle is not only dirtier than when I brought it in, it is dirtier than it has ever been before. Thats all right, I can still be reasonable, understanding and sympathetic, when you let me. Nobodys perfect, we all make mistakes. Stuff happens. They locate the liners while I return to the body shop. Im informed of the delayI expect that. Told that my adjuster has to amend my estimateI expect that. Told my adjuster is on vacation and it may take a minute to get the final approval. OK. Then it happenedI was told that the damage that had just been discovered under the front undercarriage of my car. The part of my car that was in there for repair initiallyspecifically the front under carriage, because I ran over a large eighteen wheeler re-tred. The part that showed visible damage during an oil change. The thing that could have been problematic getting repaired under my claim had I left the lot that day. The part that could have resulted in two blowouts, on my front wheel drive car. I was told - that damage is no big deal, and you werent in any danger. Really! All that I can still be reasonable, understanding and sympathetic, nobodys perfect, we all make mistakes, stuff happens. All that went out the widowright thenright there. The only thing I could have possibly tolerated at that point, would have been something like, Were sorry. I dont know how we couldve missed that. Well take care of this right away for you.Angry, just doesnt begin to describe it. I wrote a seething detailed account of what happened and signed it Alicia Ouch what a feeling Toyota McCord. I no longer wanted my vehicle, a Toyota, or to return to the Valdosta Toyota dealership for anything EVER AGAIN. Which is odd, because when you see old people driving the same make and model cars, and their last five purchase have remained exactly the samewhen I got my 2011 Prius, thats exactly what I said to myself, This is it! This is the one. Hard to believe, that one encounter, with one individual could make me so angry, that I actually dismissed the friendly helpful service of everyone else at the dealership. So angry that I started taking my car out of town for oil changes, service, and shopping around for Hondas. In case you werent sure, this is what throwing the baby out with the bath water is all about.Approximately a week ago I needed an oil change before going out of town to the hospital in Florida. Had to do it. Im usually meticulous with maintenance, but avoiding my local dealership had me way over my oil change due date. Stopping at an oil change place, I was given an outlandish price, and told it would be cheaper to go to the dealership. So after relenting I came in grudgingly for service. Dont get it twisted, I was still angryjust not enough to damage my vehicle. The waiting area was congested that day, so my niece accompanied me to the other side of the dealership to wait. While sitting there I was approached by the man with the misplaced E in his name, Mr. Grate, because surely his name should be spelled Great. He invited us into his office, struck up a conversation, and asked me about my new car purchase. New car? I thought. Im broke. Im gonna be using the change left over from this oil change to put some gas in my car, and I cant afford a more expensive car note right now. Convinced it wasnt going to happen anyway. Yeah right. I smirked. Im looking at HondasMcCords Accord. You know Im still mad about what happened at the body shop here.Dont do that. he insisted, scanning the inventory. After finding a vehicle he thought Id like, he had it pulled around so I could see it. As I hobbled around the corner on my cane, I couldnt believe my eyes. A brand new 2014, dark blue Pruis with tan interior. What he didnt know, (we didnt discuss color) was that it was the exact color combination, Id been telling people for over a year that my next Prius was going to bebefore the collision department incident. I gawked at it, sat in it, and soaked up the new car smell. There was no need test driving the same car. Oh well. I thought. Maybe someday. After introducing me to another oddly spelled name personmy salesman Bob Dillan, not to be confused with the singer. The next thing I know, I was in a new car, zero down, with a lower note, and a full tank of gas. Wheww. I sighed. I really needed that gas. This was a lesson learned, and a great experience for me. You may think this is about boosting their car sales, or showing them my appreciation, but thats simply not true. Its all about second chances and not throwing the baby out with the bath water. Sometimes second chances arent about the people that wrong, hurt or offend us, sometimes second chances are about us loving, trusting and treating people like we want to be treated despite our experiences. Yeah, you can call it luckbut I know this was Devine Intervention. Best wishes on your next purchase.Sincerely,Alicia McCordSgt US Army Ret.

Sylar was a great sales person. Genuinely concerned about me finding a car for the right price. Not only was she friendly, she knew her stuff!! Not pushy at all. Kurt ran my credit 9 plus times, I authorized him to run it ONE TIME, just to see what my approximate credit score was. Kurt revealed my credit issues with my son. I have called for 4 months, and NO ONE will help me. Courtney promised to get back with me, and after waiting a month, I left him a message on 6/5/13 to call me. Today is 7/11/13 and he has not called me back. I called and ask for and left a message for a supervisor. I left a message a week ago for Ricky. As of today he has not returned my call. I have good credit, but do to excessive credit runs that were not authorized, I recently had to pay a $600.00 deposit to have my electric turned on. I have an A credit rating with Georgia Power, but this was a different electric company. I have at this point decided to report them for FRAUD. Crooks! Don't use them, they will ruin your credit. The credit reports show, Kurt was running my credit for a 20 something thousand dollar truck, and then jump to a $32,000.00. I never ever would co-sign on a truck for that amount!!!!! The only problem I have being financed is because I'm not currently employed. COMMOM SENSE - If I don't work, I can't be a approved for a $32,000.00 vehicle. This ruins people's lives!

I have been shopping for a new car for about a month now and, without knowing much about what was on the market these days, I was unsure and somewhat apathetic about what I actually wanted to buy. Truth be told, something safe and practical was all I really needed and wanted and it seems the majority of cars on the market are safe and most have a practical version as well as a luxury model. I decided to buy a Toyota here when my husband, who was not a Toyota owner nor a customer of this dealer, had a problem with a car he inherited. The salesman he spoke with could not answer his questions, but the manager (Ricky Stokes) listened to the quality control tapes later that day and called my husband back personally to help him find the answers he needed. This went above and beyond what we were expecting, since we were not customers at the time. I was in the market for a new car, so I decided to test drive a Toyota because of the friendliness and availability of the manager and salespeople here. I ended up buying a Highlander from Casey. This will be my first experience with a Toyota and I am really excited about it!

I have bought four of my last five new automobiles from this dealership. Pricing, convenience and professionalism have been far above par. They treat me like I'm the only customer they have, both for new sales and maintenance. In this town they are the premier dealer, not only with product, but attitude. You can rest assured they will be the only dealer to get my business.Their demeanor is far surpassed by any dealer I have ever bought a car or truck from. They make you feel at home and most of all, no pressure is exerted during the sales process. They determine my needs and fill these needs with the appropriate vehicle. Can't sing their praised any more tham I have. Great sales & service experience.

My overall experience with Valdosta Toyota Scion was very pleasant. From the time I walked on the lot I was helped by a sales associate to locate a vehicle I was interested in. The sales associate allowed me to test drive the vehicle alone for an extended period of time. The price was also one of the lowest prices listed on autotrader for a 300 mile radius. The vehicle was in excellent certifed preowned condition and I was given a fair trade-in value on my vehicle. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle.

I live in Colorado and spotted the truck I wanted on the internet located in Geogia. I contacted Dora Massey from Valdosta Toyota in Georgia to inquire about the vehicle. Dora did not just "go thru the motions" with another wasted phone call quote! She did follow up with emails and phone calls with answers to all of my questions. I was nervous because I lived out of state purchasing a brand new vehicle I could not physically see in person, but Dora made it seem easy. I asked her to send me some pictures of the inside of the vehicle, and she responded by sending me a short video explaining the fetures of the truck! Dora aslo, set me up with Antoine Thomas in Financing. Antoine had everything set up with me on the phone with all the information. I then scheduled my flight & hotel, and auto shipper to go to Valdosta to purchase the truck. When I arrived at the airport, Dora was there to pick me up in the new truck I was planning to buy! When we arrived at the dealership she introduced me to Antoine and the deal was soon complete. Antoine even sold me on the extended warranty for the vehicle! Dora then took me over to my brand new truck and explained all the features and benefits. As soon as we got done the auto transporter was there to ship my vehicle to Colorado. What perfect timing! Everything went much better than I thought it could go. Dora certainly exceeded my expectations! Thank you VALDOSTA TOYOTA and especially Dora and Antoine.

Dealership had a decent price on the used car that I purchased. Dora was overall pleasant to work with and went out of her way to ensure that I had a satisfactory purchasing experience.

I would recommend Valdosta Toyota to anyone is in the market for a new/used vehicle. When I arrived on the lot, I was greeted with a firm handshake and a smile by a salesman named Maurice Warren, who then proceeded to show me around the lot while discussing my automobile needs. I had come to the lot with the intention of purchasing a Camry, however, it proved to be slightly beyond my means. Instead of being shown the door, as has happened at other lots in the past, Mr. Warren brought his manager, Don Dupree into the scenario. After thoroughly reviewing my situation, Mr. Dupree was able to find an alternate vehicle which suited my needs as well as the Camry, but had the added bonus of being within my financial range. I truly appreciate all of the assistance the entire staff of Valdosta Toyota provided me and I was specifically impressed by the professionalism displayed by Mr. Warren and Mr. Dupree. To reiterate, I highly recommend Valdosta Toyota to all!!!

I have bought several cars from Valdosta Toyota (formerly 5 Points Toyota) over the past 16 years and will continue to do business with them in the future. Six months ago I purchased a 2011 Camry SE for my wife and liked it so much I bought another for myself. Toyotas are extremely reliable and the sales and service department at Valdosta Toyota is the the best I have ever received. They will continue to get my business, I recommend all my friends and several have bought there vehicles from Valdosta Toyota...

The team at this dealership was the reason we drove from Savannah, GA to buy our new Venza. They were excited about what they do for a living and wanted our business. The drive was worth it to us. I must say they were more like family than business associates. We felt great at the conclusion of our purchase. A follow-up call to the parts department the next day resulted in the same experience. Can do attitude and customer satisfaction were their number 1 priority. No tricks, no slick talk! My wife and I are both very happy with our choice of dealers!

I recently purchased a car from there and had a great experience. Kurt Frasier helped me find the right car for me and never once did I feel pressured into buying. He made me feel that even though I was a woman buying I mattered and that I wasn't getting a fast one pulled over on me. I totally recommend buying from Kurt Frasier at Valdosta Toyota!

When I decided to buy the Scion TC, I had previously bought a F-150, and with the way gas prices are, I said to myself, way to go, you got a V-8 now and gas is getting exspensive, lets try and find a car that is good on gas but still looks good. So I went to Valdosta Toyota and met Casey Hall and I explained to her about my gas guzzling situation and she recognized my problem and asked if I had ever rode in the Scion TC. This being the first Toyota built car, I had ever driven, ended up being a way better deal than the truck, and I feel like I got the best deal, serivce, and follow-up service from Casey at Valdosta Toyota. Casey Hall was the most polite and well spoken car salesperson that I have ever met. She made sure that I was taken care of when we were dicussing the deal, and the quality of work was so fast and efficient, I was out of my old truck and into my new Scion TC in a matter of only a few hours. I feel as if Casey aided in me getting such a great price on the car due to her extensive knowledge within the car selling business as well as her understanding of the financial side of making a car deal. Everyday that I get into my new car, I always remember the prompt, intuitive service that Valdosta Toyota gave to me in order to get this amazing deal on the Scion TC, and if it wasn't for Casey Hall laying the ground work for this car deal, I might still be driving the gas guzzler, so THANKYOU Valdosta Toyota, and Casey Hall for your great attitude and service and I will recommend more people to go and buy a car/truck from Valdosta Toyota.

I wanted to not haggle just bring me the price of the truck. They brought out the price on the window. When the poor salesman came back with about 1000.00 off I said it was not enough and did not want to waist my time going through the haggle. So a sales manager said if I dis not want the best vehicle in the world I would have to pay for it or leave! They were smart asses and there was one guy in the background rolling his eyesVery unprofessionalAndy

I had a gut feeling about this dealership after reading the reviews, but was contacted by the internet manager after I expressed my concerns, and assured that the negatives were not the way they do business. The Internet Manager said to be sure to ask for him, but when I got there, I was shuffled to another salesman. Unfortunately he didn't listen close enough to my comments, concerns, or questions. No, I did't want to test drive a car. At this stage I was mainly interested in figures. I told him, "This is what I have to work with, give me a price and financing information based on my credit score, my down payment and my trade-in...". Never happened. I walked out after he "found me a car". They need to find salesmen that are more responsive (and respective) to their customers and know how to handle a "no".

Outstanding customer service and attention to what the I needed done. Gene worked with me to get my daughter's car fixed after an ugly incident with her boyfriend. Gene made sure that the damage was repaired and the car worked as before. If you're looking for someone who is responsive to your needs, Gene is your man!

I went to Valdosta Toyota looking at financing a 2010 Scion. Not only did they screw over me, but they screwed over my family as well. We tried trading in our 2005 F-150. Brian told us the deal was done and he was just waiting on paper work to come through. He let us drive off in a Toyota Tundra on Friday and gave us a call Monday telling us we had to return the truck because paper work wasn't done. He did this twice with two different Tundras. My parents eventually gave up on them. I still had hopes in the Scion, after pulling my credit and telling me I didn't need a down payment they sell the car to someone else before anything could be done. I also told Brian not to run my credit through any banks to try and get approval for a loan until I could get him a check stub from work. Now I have three bank Inquiries on my credit that I did not approve of. Our salesperson Michael did all he could do to get me in a car, Brian is the one who was playing mind games with everyone. I eventually gave up until a salesperson named Tony gave me a call and said he could work something out. I told him he could do that because he sounded certain on getting me financed. I also told him not to bother calling me back if he was going to blow smoke up my a** like Brian did. This was a month ago, still no call. My parents and I have gone elsewhere and purchased a vehicle no problems.

I have been trying to make a deal with Valdosta Toyota for 1 1/2 weeks. One vehicle had too many miles and the other one was sold (from another dealership) before Valdosta could get the truck. They will not return my phone calls after I have asked them to find me another truck with the same specs. I believe that they lowered the price so much that they can not deliver the goods. They were so easy to deal with and I understand why now. They want to reel you in and then try to make you settle for less.

I called Valdosta Toyota looking for a suv to purchase. I was really upside down on another vehicle so I needed to find a demo or some thing I could work out a deal on the up side down vehicle I was in. I spoke to a sales man who said he had a demo that he could do the deal on with no problem, to come on down. By the time I got to the dealership it was after 7pm and they put together the deal and said they could only do the deal with a thousand dollars down and a high intrest rate. I told them that I could do better with my bank and to give me a copy of the deal and I would get my own financing. They said that it was the last day of the month and I had to take the vehicle that day to get that deal. I told them that was fine but I was not signing the paperwork until I got my own financing with a better rate and no money down. They said that was fine I just had to take the vehicle and sign a purchase agreement, which I did not mind. I knew my bank would not have a problem with giving me a loan for the vehicle. The next day I went to my bank and they gave me a loan at a much better intrest rate with no money down. The dealer sent a man to meet us at the bank to sign some paperwork on their end and to pick up the check from the bank. Done deal? Wrong!! Two weeks laiter a finance woman from the dealer as well as the sailsman who originally worked the deal (Johnathan and Sharron) called and said I still owed them a thousand dollars on the vehicle that I had forgotten to give them a check for my down payment. I reminded them that I did not do their deal that I went with my bank and my bank paid the full amount on the vehicle. They apoligized and sid they had made a mistake. The next day a Robert Fiero (sales manager) called from the dealer and said the deal I had done with the bank had nothing to do with the thousand and I still owed the money. I told him I was sorry there had been a mistake but the mistake was not on my part, that the reason I went with my bank was so I would not have to shell out a down payment. Robert then called me a theif and told me he would not submit my title or tag info till I paid him the money. I notified my bank who called and got the same response that I got from Robert. My bank had to turn the matter over to their lawyers to get the title work done showing them as a lean holder. My bank had to give me a letter to give to the tag office to get a temp tag until my title work was completed becouse my tag was no good. In the end Valdosta Toyota sent in the title work three months after the deal and I got my tag. The truth of the matter was that Valdosta Toyota made a mistake on the purchase price they gave my bank and they thought they could bully me into taking the fall on their mistake. they did not care about losing any further buisness of mine. I was from out of town any ways. I will never do buisness with this dealer or any dealer affiliated with this dealer again. And will tell any one who does to be carefull.

I had no issue with the salesman I dealt with. Of course he wasn't there to save me tons of money...but I wasn't there to spend hours haggling either. I knew what I was willing to pay and didn't mind if it wasn't the deal of the century. What soured me on this dealership was the actual sale. I had already stated that I DID NOT WANT the extended warranty. So imagine my surprise when I'm signing contracts for a loan for 2000 dollars more than I agreed on. 500 was for a GAP policy, 1000 for the extended warranty, and another 500 for some BS called a dock fee. Otherwise known as how-much-more-money-can-we-take fee. When I said I wanted them to take off the extended warranty and GAP policies, I was told that if I didn't accept them, the interest on my loan would have to be increased. Not only was I never told of the addition of all these extra charges but I was then being intimidated by a "gentleman" with the appearance of Santa Claus and personality of a bipolar mental patient. As long as I agreed and signed, he was nice and charming but as soon as I balked at something he immediately started to address me in a belittling attitude. Needless to say, I found out a week later by contacting the finance company that all of that "increase interest" talk was nothing more than manure...plain and simple. So now I am in the process of cancelling the policies and getting some of my money back. In the meantime, I am beyond pissed...not that I lost some money but at the fact that they sat there and lied to my face. Basically committed fraud. God, what I would have given for a taped recording of the conversation. Of course they'll deny it and claim that I misunderstood them. No sweat off my back. It's a lesson learned and it'll be a cold day in hell when I buy a car from that place again. They probably charged me extra interest too, but I plan on refinancing with my bank anyways. Buyer beware!!!!
