Purchased a Mazda 3 at another dealership and was having all sorts of messages popping up even after doing as it said, such as tire pressure and 12V battery charging. Came into the dealership 30 min before closing and was helped by Andrew. He did a great job at explaining all of the questions I had and even taught me more about the car itself. Overall great service, highly recommend this Mazda dealership and help from Andrew

This is the fourth Mazda we have purchased at Wellesley Mazda. I am very impressed with the quality across the board. The shopping experience is better than at any other dealership I visited for any car. It is always my first recommendation for anyone. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. The cars are great and the service department is a 10 out of 10. Mike was so easy to work with on this most recent CX9.

Had a great experience leasing a car! Michaela was incredibly friendly, patient, efficient and of great help throughout the whole process. Overall, it was a pleasure. Update: Recently upgraded my lease to a newer model, enjoyed my time at the dealership as always! Thanks, Michael Winterson, for thoroughly guiding us through the process!

I'm so lucky to have gotten Andrew on the phone! This was my first dealership experience and I was nervous hearing about how aggressive they can be. Andrew wasn't aggressive at all, so chill and showed genuine care for my needs. I also learned A LOT from him, I appreciate the knowledge and guidance given to me in such a friendly way. No doubt I'll be going back and referring others!

This was my first time purchasing a car, and working with Mike at this dealership made the process a lot easier! He was very responsive to any questions we had after our first meeting, and even had the car deep cleaned/detailed before we picked it up, as it was pre-owned. So far the car has been great — we were really satisfied with the service here!

I had the pleasure of being greeted by Anthony one of Mazda employees. One of the best experiences I've had at any car dealership he was kind and knowledgeable and answered every question I threw at him. This experience changed my outlook on dealerships. Hopefully more dealerships hire men like Anthony who are respectful come up greet you professionally and make your experience a good time instead of a nightmare like every other visit I've had to a dealership. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a car to go by the Mazda dealership and speak with Anthony. i'm definitely looking forward to coming back and purchase in a Mazda early January. Great customer service thank you

I have never drove a Mazda before I came to Wellesley Mazda! Anthony was my sales consultant and he was a very knowledgeable in the model I was interested in taking for a test drive. Along with answering all the questions and concerns about the Mazda-CX-5 model I was interested in, he also had intrigued me into looking into some of the other vehicles that were there so I could have my options open. I am interested in suggesting one of the models he had shown me to my wife for a new car. Great service here as a whole! Thank you Anthony.

I don't usually post reviews online, but I figured I would for this place. I was dreading even thinking about buying a new car, but it's almost time because my car is on its last legs. Lucky for me this was the first place I checked out. The salesman who helped me out was Anthony. He's an awesome guy, very personable and easy to talk to. I was worried about the stereotypical salesman, but Anthony was very professional and nothing at all what I was expecting. We chatted a little, and we were talking about his passion for cars. It shows because he knows everything there is to know about the cars in his dealership. I have his number, so when the time comes, he'll be hearing from me!

Although Mackenzie Fleming was with a customer, he made sure we were acknowledged and made welcome. Krystal Miller then came out to help us. We test drove a CX3 and a CX5. Krystal went out of her way to make sure we were in the model we are considering. She really loves her job and it shows; she's easy to do business with. She introduced us to a couple of her colleagues and the owner who have the same positive attitude. The customer service is terrific!

If you visit, ask to work with Jayme. He's an attentive salesman who strives to please. He employs a positive "help me help you" attitude: always taking an active role in the process and working to send you home with the best deal.

I couldn't have asked for better service from Krystal and Wellesley Mazda! I saw a CPO 2016 Miata online and called to make an appointment and ended up buying the car that same day. I have nothing but good things to say about Krystal and the dealership, the experience was very low-pressure and overall enjoyable compared to past experiences at other dealerships. Very happy I decided to stop by!

I had a great sales experience here, my husband and I worked with Krystal Miller to find our new car. She was the anthesis of a car sales person, nice, humble, and easy to work with. She was persistent but not pushy in a way that was much appreciated. It was nice to have a good experience with this experience.

I was very impressed with Wellesley Mazda from the my first call into the dealership inquiring about a certified Mazda 3. I had the pleasure of working with Krystal Miller and from the start to the finish she made the transaction seamless. She was very helpful answering any questions and always had a friendly disposition that made the purchase easy. I also dealt with Rodrigo Nadal who helped with the financing and he was great to work with as well.

I had the pleasure of working with Wellesley Mazda to purchase my most recent vehicle. I had the pleasure of working with Anthony Centeio and Tim Foley as my sales consultants. They were extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles and they were both most concerned about my needs as a consumer. Mazda of Wellesley is a very professional company. No pressure at all in the process. Matt Marshall is a great service person and made me feel very comfortable with vehicle in the post sales process.

I went in looking to test drive a CX-9. Tye Jordan was pleasant and courteous and knowledgeable. It was OK to take my little one in his booster seat on the test drive. After the test drive I wanted to see the difference between the Mazda stereo system and the Bose. Ty found me a Mazda system on the lot and let me rock out for a while. I eventually went with another brand of car and Tye was very gracious.

I went to Wellesley Mazda to look at the CX-5 and CX-9. I was approached by Anthony Centeio. He understood that I just wanted to learn more about the vehicles and that I did not have intentions to make a purchase during my visit. He answered all my questions, and was very knowledgable about both vehicles. Most importantly, he did not pressure me in any way. If and when I decide to purchase a vehicle, I will definitely go back to him. I recommend him to anyone interested in purchasing a new vehicle.

Anthony from the beginning was a very polite and organized salesman. He was aware of everything and extremely attentive in answering all of my questions and concerns. He is a very patient and honest salesman. Going with him was by far the most stress free experience in purchasing a car from the last 20 years of purchasing a car. THANKS ANTHONY !

Great experience at Wellesley Mazda. Anthony led us through the process with knowledge, patience and friendliness. He is genuinely excited about Mazda cars and it's infectious! Rodrigo and Sofia were quick, efficient, professional and friendly as well. Alex treated us like proud new parents and sent us off with all the necessary info with polish and flair.

I met with Krystal when trying to decide whether to buy a Mazda. She was a wealth of information. Unlike another salesman at another Mazda dealership, she fully explained the two options available with the CX-5, and it is because of Krystal that I purchased a CX-5 (based upon my meeting with the other (bad) saleswoman at another dealership, my initial impression was that it was too expensive). Krystal was also very pleasant to deal with. Due to the fact I needed to purchase immediately, I was not able to purchase from Wellesley Mazda, but that did not have to do with Krystal. Do yourself a favor and meet with her if you're looking to buy!

I worked with Anthony and ordered a car I had never seen. I had it delivered to Arkansas on a promise that it was worth what I paid. I can only say it exceeded my expectations and it was everything I was looking wand more. They cleaned it (with great attention to detail), filled it with gas and it was outstanding. I can't say enough about the whole experience.

I had a great first car buying experience. I felt that staff was all friendly and attentive to my needs. Anthony, went beyond the norm and made sure that I was happy and comfortable with the entire process. I felt that I made a great investment with a dealership that wasn't trying to cheat me out of everything it was like they were helping out a friend or family member purchase a vehicle. Exactly how it should be. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone.

Wellesley Mazda as they claim is truly a family run business. They treat their customers like they would treat their own family. I had to take my kids there with me and they treated them very nicely. Greg and Krystal were amazing. They both were very honest, upfront, and very proficient in their work. They both patiently answered all our questions and tried to help in every possible way. We are Toyota fan and were torn between buying toyota or Mazda. Switched to Mazda more so because of the excellent customer service at the dealership. I would strongly recommend Wellesley Mazda. A great hassle free buying experience. Thank you Wellesley Mazda! Special thanks and appreciation to Greg Flowers and Krystal.

Excellent customer service. Really good trade-in offer. Very efficient purchasing process. This is the fourth car that we've bought from them, and the way that they treat their customers, as well as the deals that we've gotten, are why we keep returning. Of course, the quality of the cars is great, too!

I recently leased a new Mazda CX-9 from Wellesley Mazda. My family has bought or leased 3 other cars from this dealership and we keep coming back! A car dealership like any other business can only be as good as the people it employs. Wellesley Mazda has a great sales team. I had the pleasure of meeting Anthony Centeio who is a new member sales department team. He was great to work with. A good listener, not pushy, very personable, tried to meet my needs, and ultimately sold me my beautiful new/used CX-3 Touring.

I called early Saturday morning about a 2013 Mazda3 with 6-speed manual transmission I had seen on-line the night before. My wife and I were an hour away and Krysta said she'd have the car ready by the time we got there. The car was ready and within 10 minutes we were out driving. We both took turns driving while Krysta rode shotgun and answered all of many questions. We liked the car a lot, but didn't buy it. We had forgotten about sales tax and other fees which put the car out of our budget. We loved our experience with Krysta who introduced us to Greg (Manager of the pre-owned business) before we left. We have plenty of time before we need a new car and we plan to keep working with Krysta until she finds us one with the options we want that's in our price range.

I was slightly nervous to embark on the car-purchasing endeavor on my own, but I had nothing to worry about! Krystal Miller helped me through the process and made it much less stressful. She was very knowledgeable about the car that I test drove, 2013 CX-5, in a way that didn't feel like a textbook or in-your-face. She even stayed late so I could take it for a ride that afternoon! Though I didn't purchase the car the day of the test-drive, after a week of research, I decided that that was the car for me. It was the best quality and I had such great experience with Krystal. Even after the purchasing process, Krystal helped me out! She quickly went out in the rain to get my parking sticker on my lunch break.

First off, Krysral Miller was great. After being told by someone else to "come on down, we can get you a test drive with out waiting", we waited for 50 minues and our toddler lost all good will. We ended up leaving that day, but Krystal was firm in her promise that we should come back the next day and she would have the car we wanted to test ready to go. The next day we arrived and got directly into a waiting car and were able to test drive it. Overall, we liked the CX-5 Touring, but didn't like the lack of front seat room with a carseat in the back. We were offered a fair price, but decided the car wasn't right for us.

I was walking by this dealership last week, I work next door, and decided to call about a particular car on the lot. When I called, I was pleasantly greeted by Tye Jordan. I inquired about a white BMW Convertible. He answered all my questions without the typical high tactic sales pressure. Normally, I would not just give out my cell number or email address, but when Tye asked, I had no problem giving him the information; I had a feeling he would not pester me constantly. What he did do, was send me a personalized video of the vehicle which I thought was incredible. he then followed up with a text asking my opinion and if I wanted a closer look at the vehicle. His sales technique is what is lacking in many sales people today. He gained my trust and did it in a very professional way. Now, I did no buy the car only because we decided on a different vehicle all together, but I would have been pleased to purchase the vehicle from Tye.If you go to Wellesley Mazda, you should ask for Tye Jordan.Tony Onorato

Worked with Tye Jordan who took us on test drive and was very knowledgable about the CX-5 and made sure that all of our many questions were answered. He provided his cell phone and was responsive to our questions. Overall, I had a better experience at Mazda Wellesley than at other dealers. In the end, I feel that I received a fair price on my purchase and am happy with the vehicle so far. Rodrigo clearly explained and walked me through the closing process. Alex gave a comprehensive and much appreciated walkthrough of all the features of the vehicle before I took it off the lot. Would recommend this dealership to friends.

Met with Jayme Lee when considering a Mazda CX-5. I did not end up buying the car, but the sales process was really great. Jayme took the time to understand what I was looking for, what features were most important, and helped evaluate what I should be considering. When we test drove he made sure to point out aspects that he knew were important to me. He even questioned if some of the things I thought were important truly were (questioning if I needed the trim with all the works).

First of all, walked in, found Krista and from there it was FANTASTIC. She promptly assisted me so that I could test drive the vehicle, and from there it was A+. I have owned cars for 40 years, and this has been BY FAR THE ONLY TIME I have ever been treated with this much respect and courtesy. Krystal was very informative, took the time to explain things and really made it an A+ experience all around. I cannot wait to pick up the car on Friday, and THANK YOU TO KRISTA, RODRIGO AND SOPHIA!!! Wish you all continued success in all your endeavors. THANK YOU AGAIN!!!! I recently purchased a new CX-9 at Wellesley Mazda, and it was among the best car buying experiences I have had in over 30 yrs of vehicle purchases. I highly recommend Krystal Miller, the product consultant who shepherded us through the buying process. She is knowledgeable, personable, and professional...at one point even trying to 'down sell' to a lower trim level that would meet my needs. Wellesley Mazda's 'no pressure ' approach continues throughout the process. The business manager took great care in explaining numerous options for extended warranties, tire protection plans, etc., (often big moneymakers for the dealership), yet didn't lose any of her customer focus when I declined most of the options. If you are like me and don't particularly enjoy the traditional posturing and contentious negotiations you often suffer through when purchasing a car, I recommend you try working with Krystal Miller and the team at Wellesley Mazda. Prices are competitive and they take customer service seriously.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Wellesley Mazda. Krystal was extremely knowledgeable, respectful and friendly. She worked with us to help meet our family's specific needs. Appreciate the very informative, courteous, and respectful help from Tye Jordan. His knowledge of the Mazda vehicles and how they compare to their competitors in the marketplace is extensive and helpful. The upselling and "closing the deal talk" were both appropriate to this customer (very much appreciated). "Sales" people like him bring respect back to the profession and are sure to be profitable for both business and customer.

This is my second excellent car buying experience at Wellesley Mazda. My family has bought both new and used vehicles and has had an excellent experience with each. Wellesley Mazda is a no pressure dealership. My suggestion is to go elsewhere first and experience the pushy, trick-laden tactics of other dealerships, and then come to Wellesley Mazda to experience the difference. If you are in the market for a used or new Mazda, put Wellesley Mazda first on your list. Tye & Anthony were excellent and made sure I was comfortable and had as much information as possible about the vehicle I was purchasing.

I would give 0 stars if that were allowed. I spoke specifically with a Sophi at Wellesley Mazda who confirmed they had a certain car listed on auto trader still available. I explained their location was difficult to get to for me, before committing most of my afternoon to travelling out to this two-bit dealership. Upon arriving, I waited more than 40 minutes just to get helped by a customer service rep. While she was friendly, she came back 20 minutes later to inform me they didn't have the car I called about, and then to try and show me a bunch of entirely different makes and models. No real apologies from the dealership. No offers to help me with a ride back after wasting my time. And they repeatedly ducked my phone calls after. Avoid this unprofessional xxxx hole at all costs.

Found a nice priced pre-owned car here on an online ad (Truecar.com as well as their own website). I'd called to inquire as to whether the car was still available and Carlos told me it was, I asked if I could come see it and he said sure that he would be there. I told him I'd be there in ten minutes (which I was). However, when I'd arrived I was told that Carlos had to leave on a family emergency (no problem) and I was now to work with Ty to discuss the details of the vehicle. He took my license and filled out a worksheet with my personal information and made me wait for about 45 minutes only to tell me that the car I wanted was no longer in stock and had been sent to auction. I was lied to and my time was completed wasted. It's incompetence like this that makes me hate the car buying process, dealerships and salespersons. Thanks Wellesley Mazda for slapping my in the face and wasting my time.

New to the car buying process, I wasn't sure which Mazda model I was most interested in considering purchasing. I worked with Henry, and he was the most honest sales representative I have dealt with throughout the 6 or 7 cars I have ever purchased. This dealership truly has their customer experience rated very high in my book. I feel that, without a doubt, I got a fair deal and wasn't treated like another sale. I left the dealership with a 2016 Mazda CX-5, the exact car I originally wanted. I will gladly buy from them again, and currently I live about 45 minutes to an hour away. Worth the drive.

Krystal Miller was the salesperson who helped me in the purchase of my new Mazda. Purchasing a used car has never been such a smooth process. Mazda did a wonderful job of cleaning the car, it looks brand new! The salesman I worked with, Drew Reidy, was always prepared and one step ahead of me. Drew and everyone else at Mazda had a plethora of knowledge about the cars at their company. Wellesley Mazda is a very trustworthy dealership and I cannot thank them enough for my awesome car and the hassle free experience. I will definitely be going back to Mazda for all of my car needs in the future.

After dealing with two Mazda dealerships in the area that really had poor customer service, I have to say that Wellesley Mazda is the best. Upon walking in I was greeted by Product consultant, Henry Diep who was very friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. At first management was stubborn in making the deal to purchase my vehicle, but Henry Diep provided excellent customer service and helped to make the deal possible for the purchase of my vehicle. The Business Manager, Sophia Tiburcio processed the paper work in a very professional and timely manner and both Henry and Sophia made the car buying experience a great one.

We came in to look at some CX-5s and the staff couldn't have been better. Our sales/consultant rep was Tye and he was extremely helpful and caring. Nothing but superlatives for the staff at Wellesley Mazda, starting with the salesperson, Krystal, all the way through delivery of my new CX-5. She was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and courteous even coming in prior to closing on a Saturday (I wasn't aware of the hours until I arrived - we even went for a very late test drive and she was above and beyond accomodating in this regard). Discussions were non-pressured and the entire staff were super friendly. I originally picked one color however didn't like it upon arriving to complete the paper work a day or two prior to delivery. Greg the Salesmanager (in Kyrstal's absence) helped in locating a similar model in a different color, which only delayed delivery by a day (no big deal); he was, again, super helpful, courteous and only wanted to insure I was happy with the color selection in the end. Matt, who assisted me with the actual delivery of the vehicle, was awesome, patient, and extremely knowledgeable with all the electronic (and mechanical) features of the new vehicle, which are above and beyond my previous one. He took the time to go over everything with me in great detail.Overall, just an amazing, non-pressured, satisfying experience! Two days after driving it off the lot, I found out that close friends of mine also got a CX-5 at Wellelsely Mazda several months before I did (the wife apparently changes cars quite a bit lately due to her job and I didn't know they had a Mazda, let alone a CX-5). They too had great things to say about Wellesley Mazda and their experience mirroring my own. Just fantastic! Also, the owner Alex, whom I never met, called me yesterday (2 days after delivery) to see how everything was going and I waxed superlatives to him - which is the truth. I got the car I've been eyeing for a little while now - love the exterior styling and shape and fall in love with every time I see it - at a great price with awesome, attentive and knowledgeable and professional service. There's not much else I could ask for in a dealership, really. I would recommend Wellesley Mazda to anyone in a heartbeat - and I certainly would go back again!

I had been looking for a vehicle online for my 18-year old daughter when I came across some potential options at Wellesley Mazda. I immediately contacted the dealership and spoke to salesman Tye Jordan, who was pleasantly eager to assist me and answer any questions I had about the vehicle I was interested in. Without my asking, Tye sent me a VIDEO of the vehicle where he proceeded to highlight all features of the vehicle inside and out. It was simply refreshing, to say the least, to come across such a young individual so well spoken, further demonstrated strong knowledge of his craft, and further took the initiative to assist a potential car buyer with extreme professionalism and a welcoming attitude. One simply does not come across this level of customer care in any industry or field any more. Additionally, since I live in Atlanta, GA., And was willing to purchase a vehicle outside of my state of residence, Tye went the extra mile to determine what steps I needed to take to execute the purchase and work out all the logistics of the buying process. I have never had such a great experience when I purchased vehicles in the past. Tye Jordan's level of customer service was off the charts!

Nothing but great things to say about the entire team and experience at Wellesley Mazda. Andrew, Greg, Alex, Rodrigo, and Matt all did a phenomenal job. From initial communication to driving away with the car - we dealt in an open, collaborative, respectable, transparent, and punctual manner. Unlike what most sales experiences are expected to be, I actually felt I had an enjoyable and fun experience at Wellesley Mazda. Andrew and the team showed the highest level of professionalism and good salesmanship. Having dealt with other Mazda dealers in the area, I can say with the utmost level of confidence that Wellesley Mazda stand on a higher ground and I would not consider going anywhere else. Never have I seen a more attentive and driven team who understand how to deliver a high quality customer experience. Look no further than Wellesley Mazda and ask for Andrew or any of the team members listed on this review to ensure a pleasurable time getting a new Mazda.

The salesperson lied to us several times and when brought to the attention of the general manager, he was rude and disrespectful. I have never met a manager that has spoken to me in this manner before. When told that I would be reviewing this dealership poorly he turned around and called me a liar and extortionist. He proceeded to threaten me by saying that he has all of my information including my employer so he will make it known to them that I am a liar. He also said that if I wrote anything negative on social media that their lawyers would sue me for defamation. Steer clear of this place. How did Darren ever get s position as a general manager? The Shaker group needs to fire this guy immediately! Never met a person so disgusting in my life!!!

Was told a ballpark figure prior coming in. Figures weren't even close & they wouldn't budge on the sticker price of a 3 year old used car. Also, they appraised my car $2000 under the nearest appraisal of other dealerships. Salesman was great but the bad business management lost out on an easy used car sale. I've never written a review but had to cause it was a horrible experience.

I was researching small SUV crossovers and read some great reviews on the Mazda CX-5. Don't miss out on giving this crossover a test drive. It doesn't disappoint. Thought its performance and features truly beat out the Honda CRV. The dealership is low key and you won't be surrounded by hungry sales people. Make sure you ask for Krystal Miller to show you all the car's features. Krystal knew I was in from California and wasn't buying that day. Regardless, she was a customer service dream and spent amble time with us fully introducing the CX-5. Looked at three dealerships and Mazda still ranks #1. Introduced the dealership and Mazda to my daughter and son in law that evening. Test drive one for yourself! Many thanks to Krystal for a superb experience! MG from SolCal.

I recently visited this dealership with my daughter looking for a car. We were helped by the sales rep, Krystal Miller. Her approach was very open, honest and informative. She knew all the details about the cars we were interested in, and offered to drive them. She was able to address all of our questions and made the whole experience very enjoyable. No pressure, just like dealing with a friend that you can trust. Thank you Krystal. If you are looking for a Mazda, this is the place to get it!

Drove from southern Rhode Island to buy a used car my son found online. Even though the process took us hours past closing, everyone there stayed and made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. Thanks again Greg, Krystal and Alexandra for guiding us through the process. I would highly recommend this dealership.

Krystal Miller helped me today and made my experience very positive. Buying a car can be very intimidating but she made me feel comfortable and at ease. She answered all my questions and made really valuable suggestions for my car search! She wasn't pushy knowing I wasn't buying a car that day but trying to find the best deal for me. Looking forward to my continued work with her!

Great experience buying a used Mazda 3 from Tye at Wellesley Mazda. During a test drive he was clearly enthusiastic about the Mazda brand and knowledgeable about specific features, especially between different model years. Very low pressure and smooth experience during the rest of the sales process. I had to finish the deal and pickup the car on a different day and followed up with Henry, who was also great and make it as pleasant a process as possible. Overall had a great experience and would recommend this dealer to any friends or family.

My wife bought a Mazda here in 2012 and was very pleased. So that was a good starting point for me in my search for a car (I really like her Mazda but am not allowed to drive it except in exigent circumstances.)As it happens, I am working with 2 sales consultants. The first is Wayne Xides, who has been very helpful and informative. He is low-key, thoughtful and knows everything about Mazdas, including their design and engineering approaches. he presented the three models and trims I had picked out, without trying to push the most expensive vehicle. He was candid, but positive, which is a nice (and rare) trait, in my opinion. For scheduling reasons, I made a followup visit and took another test drive with a second Sales Consultant, Krystal Miller. She is genuine people-person and car enthusiast. She is newer to the dealership but fits right into their low-key, no-pressure approach. She encourages questions, has thoughtful answers and exudes confidence and ebullience.Personally, I find that very welcome; my observation is that even with the "field leveling" benefits of the Internet, car customers can still be prey to classic selling ploy from my long-distant youth. Not at Wellesley Mazda, however -- their approach and philosophy fit today's consumer Zeitgeist nicely.I look forward to a successful conclusion to my Mazda search at Wellesley Mazda!Keep tuned....T. I went to Wellesley in order to further narrow down my search for my next car. There I was helped by Jayme Lee. He did a great job of answering all of my questions about the vehicle (Miata). I've been looking around at other places, and nowhere else did I feel the relaxed environment, where it's all about making a deal right there and then. It's a freaking car purchase. Nobody intelligent makes those on the spot. It takes time and thought and it is nice to see a place that gives you the space and information that you need. I usually don't write reviews online, but Jayme explained the company philosophy to me, which prompted this review. He did a great job.

Krystal Miller was our product consultant at Wellesley Mazda, and she made the process an amazing experience. She was upbeat and genuine, answering all our questions honestly and gave us the necessary information we needed to make our decision. We are still considering whether or not to go with a Mazda, but the dealership's loyalty program is certainly tempting and worth looking into for anyone who wishes to get a Mazda.

After dealing with a few Mazda dealers with a far less than positive experience resulting from pricing tricks and other negatives we came upon Wellesley Mazda and had an amazingly positive experience. From the very first contact Greg Flowers found exactly the model and corn and options we were looking for and presented us within hours with a fully detailed pricing sheet laying out the exact price including fees, taxes, rebates, etc.And the price was exceptional. Even when the car we were looking at was sold that afternoon, he tracked down the exact same car within 24 hours. I could go on and on about how helpful he was. Then we met our salesperson, Krystal, who was trul one of the nicest, most helpful, professional salespeople I have ever dealt with. She even took a professional video of our vehicle when it arrived so we could see our vehicle in detail while driving to the dealership. We met the owner who seems to be way ahead of his competition doing things like creating the aforementioned videos, paying all his salespeople salaries instead of commissions to prevent them from being pushy, creating fully detailed no BS pricing sheets right up front, etc etc. The finance manager we dealt was incredibly skilled, personable and knowledgeable. And truly helpful and honest. And having said all that, we got the best price of all the dealers we dealt with, without any negotiations or any bait and switch or anything. Just, here's a very fair price.

Took a Saturday to run around Boston test driving many cars. Even though I eventually bought a Honda, (Mazda was second choice) Wayne at Wellesley Mazda was by far the best sales person we dealt with all day - friendly, patient, knowledgeable - and most importantly - none of that creepy sales guy crap. I'd happily send friends to work with him.

My experience with Wellesley Mazda was very positive. Tye was fantastic and was very patient during the process. He was careful to record what was important for us and really tried to meet our needs. I didn't end up buying the car because it was a little too big for us (we live in Cambridge), but really considered it due to the great service we received.

Tye and his team used every underhanded negotiating trick. First told me priced off of MSRP and could not make money much below that. When I said I was also waiting for bid from a Costco referral program, they said Costco dealer never offer as good pricing and wanted me to sign form for offer that day. I said I needed to wait. Costco dealer came back more than $800 less and priced off their invoice....which was much lower than MSRP. I sent back to Tye and his team who then continued to claim bid was not correct, etc. I then contacted a third dealer who gave me bid much lower than Tye. At that point, Tye said he could match bid...despite saying at first meeting they would lose money at that level! I then said no, I had spent 2 days having to reach other dealers to get Tye to deliver a price he told me at first meeting would be a loss! I lost all trust in Mazda Wellesley team and went to another dealer who had offered me good price from the beginning! Never would recommend Tye. When I expressed my frustration with him. He told me I had unrealistic expectations...not true.

I went to Wellesley Mazda with the intent of test driving a Mazda CX5 and getting a better understanding of the kind of pricing that would be available and the value of my trade in. Tye worked with me throughout my visit, giving me all of the information I needed to make an informed purchase, and working tirelessly to get me the deal I requested. While I didn't drive away from the dealership in a new ride that day, I really appreciated the time and transparency I received from Tye and his manager. If I decide to go forward with a purchase of a CX5, I'll definitely return to Wellesley Mazda.

Still in the comparison phase of purchasing a vehicle. Krystal greeted us with a smile and asked if we needed any help. Even though we explained we would not be purchasing a vehicle she took the time to answer all our questions, set up a test drive of a CX-5, and was overall very pleasant. No pressure at all. If we purchase/lease a Mazda it will be via Krystal.

I walked into Wellesley Mazda knowing that I was interested in the CX-5. Krystal greeted with me a smile and warmth. I have to admit, it was wonderful to work with a female salesperson. Krystal's enthusiasm for her job and eagerness to help me, and not just sell me, put me at ease. She took her time with the test drive and showed me every feature. Leasing my new CX-5 was great experience, including the negotiation (my least favorite part). I would recommend Krystal at Wellesley Mazda to any of my friends.

I was in the market for a new car, but in no rush to buy. It was because of the amazing experience at Wellesley Mazda, especially my experience with Krystal that I did purchase a 2016 pre-owned CX-5. The bottom line is that meeting Krystal felt like meeting family. I immediately trusted that she believed Wellesley Mazda was great, family owned dealership that would do anything and everything to make the customer happy. In my opinion, she went way above and beyond to make sure my experience was positive. I have never felt less stressed buying a car. Krystal is a great salesperson and did her best to make sure she put together a great deal for both the customer and the dealership. I would buy again from Wellesley Mazda and Krystal in a heartbeat. I typically do not service my cars at dealerships but I definitely will now based on my experience.I don't see Krystal as an employee to "check" but if I could I would give her a higher rating than 5 (excellent).

I have never had such an awesome and relaxed car buying experience. Product Consultant Krystal Miller assessed my vehicle needs with a detailed questionnaire about my driving habits and vehicle must haves. After an impressive test drive in a Mazda 6 Sport I asked to sit down and talk numbers. There was no pressure or drama. Krystal was working as my advocate and from our conversation she understood what I was looking for. Krystal hooked me up with a jet black 2016 Mazda 6 Grand Touring Sedan with a black/expresso interior that is intense. I am at a loss for words to describe the looks, the ride, the layout of the controls, and the exquisite quality of car's materials. Like the song says, my ride is "Bad to the Bone". I am thrilled and happy to be part of the Wellesley Mazda family. Many recommendations to my friends and colleagues will be coming from me about my Wellesley Mazda Experience, especially after checking out my new baby. - Arthur Panos

The dealer ship was everything I needed in order to buy a car, prices were pretty transparent and service was pretty good. It did take a while but that is expected for any dealership, for the most part it was painless and at the end of the day I got the car I wanted. I started my journey of car shopping in this dealership. Went to a test drive with Jamie (which was quite impressive), and they completely understood afterward that I'm still at the beginning of the process, were not pushing me into anything (unlike another dealership where I was actually told that after the test drive I have to buy the car). After looking a bunch of other cars and dealing with other dealerships and salespeople I happily returned and purchased a car here. The process was painless despite my unique situation (being fairly new to the country), and Krystal and Sophia guided me through it professionally. I can't emphasize enough how great it was that they were not trying to push me into anything. Buying a car is not a small deal, and the people in this dealership totally understand that. A happy customer

Of the four dealerships I've been to, Krystal was the only person that looked me in the eyes and asked me, the GIRL, what I was looking for in MY car instead of my husband. I purchased two used vehicles from Wellesley Mazda. Both transactions went very smoothly. They were very accommodating and did not pressure my decision in any way. I have purchased many cars from many dealerships and I always crawl under the car or get on the ground to look under the car. This was the first dealership that asked me if I wanted them to put it on a lift so that I could go over it in detail. They addressed all the concerns I had with each of my purchases and checked/fixed all the issues that I pointed out, even a minor one, like buffing out the headlights and reviewing any repairs that they did to the car after they received it. Also, they provide free CarFax on their cars right on their website which is a great bonus. Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend them and in particular Henry Diep who was the salesmen that worked with me.

Went in to this dealership today to look at a new and a used Miata. Not sure which one I liked better I asked to look at both. The sales rep acted as though it was an inconvience and even said why do you need to test drive the used one it drives the exact same as the new one. The model had a redesign this year so the engine, transmission, wheelbase, chassis and many other components are different. When we finally decided on a brand new one, before we even talked number the sales rep tried to get us to sign saying that if we agreed on a price we would immediately buy the vehicle. I politely refused to sign any paper work until we had spoke numbers. Sales rep was not happy stating that I wouldn't be able to get as aggressive a number, I politely declined stating I shouldn't have to sign until we knew exactly what we were planing on doing. Ultimately this dealership came in $100 over what I wanted to pay (which I was more than willing to pay). We told sales rep we would go to lunch and come back and let him know. He said wait I already told the Salem store to deliver the color you said you liked best, at no point did we say we were ready to purchase, and also had not decided which color we wanted. We left this terrible dealership and went to another dealer and finalized a deal!

Buying a car has never been what I would call a great experience. This time was different and I can't thank my sales person Henry enough for making the whole process a great one. No pressure, professional, courteous and accommodating. As an out of state buyer, there were some hoops to go through to get my car registered and between Henry and the finance person, they made it as easy as possible for me. I contacted Wellesley Mazda online through the Liberty Mutual's TrueCar program and received emails from the dealership with price estimates for a 2016 Mazda 6. I went to the dealership and asked for Greg Flowers the sales manager. When he came to the waiting area to greet me he apologized that I had to wait and offered to get me a coffee from Dunkin Donuts next door. I didn't take him up on it, but I appreciated the gesture and didn't think the brief wait was a bother at all. I told him about the Libery Mutual TrueCar estimates I obtained online, and he introduced me to Sophia who took it from there. She was great to work with in every way... smart, straight forward, and very nice and likeable. After test driving a Mazda 6 Sport I told her the options I wanted, and when she came back with a price it seemed very reasonable so after working out the details I bought the car. I picked it up the other day, and everything went smoothly. Sophia took care of the registration, went over the warranty options with me, and followed up with an email the next day to see if I had any questions. Working with this dealership was a pleasure, and I definitely recommend them to others.

I wasn't in a rush to get a car. I told Tye Jordan(sales consultant) I was doing my homework/ research before I the pull I trigger on a deal. So off the bat Tye understood we're standing and that a deal probably wouldn't happen today and I have a couple of stops to make. Tye took his time to explain things about the car and their different trims levels and options. That was extremely helpful that he knew his product. The dealership had a great selection of cars. I picked the car I had the most interest in. Then we went for a test drive. I truly love the new Mazda's they on par with higher tier JDM products. Afterwards Greg Falk(sales manager) came over and meet me. He took his time and spoke with me. I came to find out Greg is a real car enthusiast. For me that's really important he understands where I am coming from. Polite non-pushy gentlemen. When I want to get a Mazda this well be the place I will go and ask for Tye and Greg!

Had been searching for my car for a while and Wellesley had what I was looking for at a great price. I was welcomed immediately by Henry Diep and he quickly set me up with a test drive in the Scion FR-S I was interested in. This dealer has haggle free prices in used car and were extremely helpful with getting me the best loan possible. Even when my insurance took a while to process, Henry was sure to make sure my brother and I did not go hungry. Since the dealer temp car was not available, Henry even let us drive his personal car to get food. This dealer truly cares about the individuals that walk in, and provide fantastic business. Walked out with a great car at a great price, and entirely stress free. This experience went against all I originally believed about buying my first car. Awesome experience. Would definitely recommend.

This past November, my husband and I, after checking out a few other cars at other dealerships a few days prior (and having not-so-great experiences), came to Wellesley Mazda. It was like a breath of fresh air. The dealership itself is beautifully-designed. Our salesperson, Tye Jordan, was extremely helpful and easy to work with. Although we did not feel pressured to purchase a car same-day, and had no intention to buy a car same-day, we ended up buying one anyway due to the lovely experience we had. We also got a great, fair deal on our new car.

While looking thru Cars.com I came across a nice certified pre owned Mazda CX-5. I just inquired if this was still available and was told it was. I scheduled a time that visit for a test drive. We were greeted right when we walked into the door. We informed them that we were here to test drive the CX5. After a short wait we were greeted by Henry Diep who took my info and then took us for the test drive. Henry showed us the car and the features that were included. And during the test drive he answered any and all questions we had. Henry's sense of humor and his all around great attitude was a surprise for a car salesman. He informed my wife and I that he is not paid by commission so if we didn't decide to buy he would be ok with it. After the test drive Henry went over all the services that Wellesley Mazda provided. And getting the amount of a trade in for my car was also a plus. Just picked up the car today and was greeted by Henry when we arrived with courtesy and his humor as well. I would definitely buy from Wellesley Mazda again.

I was immediately greeted when I walked into the showroom. Everyone there was pleasant, friendly, and helpful. I was looking for a new vehicle to replace my 13 1/2 year old car with over 200,000 miles. I knew what I wanted in the car, I just didn't know what kind of car I wanted. Sophia took notes as I told her what I was looking for and came up with the CX5 Touring. It is a beautiful car and had most of what I wanted. We took it for a test drive and I really liked the car. Sophia was very knowledgeable of the car and pointed out all the "perks" the car had, as well as all the benefits/incentives/service that came with purchasing and owning a Mazda.Although I did not buy the car, Sophia made you feel like family, and the only one who needed her undivided attention. The whole atmosphere was friendly and laid-back. No pressure or stress from anyone!Thank you Sophia for a pleasant, stress-free afternoon.Naomi

After my daughter found a used car online available at Wellesley Mazda, we went to look at it and met the sales staff. They were very friendly until we wanted to take the vehicle to a nearby mechanic who checked the car over and offered us a list of things that were deficient on the car. Once we went into negotiations to have those deficiencies corrected, the sales staff turned ugly and bullied my daughter about the contract signed with them. In order to get the contract canceled (because they would not admit fault in anyway), we were told by Darren Bonanno and Greg Flowers that we had to go to several rating sites and give high ratings for the dealership or they would not cancel the contract. Take a few moments and read through other reviews about this dealership to see that this was not an isolated incident. Stay away from them. They are bullies and should not be allowed to sell the fine Mazda brand.

First let me say, when I walked into Wellesley Mazda I was expecting hours of haggling. Not so with this shop. I had a very smooth stress free experience! I has the pleasure of working with Product Consultant Tye Jordan. He was very friendly, low key and knowledgeable. I felt the whole experience was the complete opposite from the "aggressive" salesmen at other dealerships. With the help of Tye , I purchased a vehicle at a very fair affordable price. I feel he is a great asset to the dealership! Also a big shout out to Fred. He's the "Paperwork Wizard".Thank you Wellesley Mazda for way you run your dealerships. And most of all Tye Jordan, thank you !

I went to Wellesley Mazda to see an advertised used car. And although I didn't buy the car, I was very pleased with the helpful, no pressure, no stress guidance from my salesman, Carlos Periera. He was an asset to this dealership. I will definely return and recommend him and Wellesley Mazda to my friends and family!

I came to Wellesley Mazda just to look around, and Tye Jordan was the salesman who worked with me. I really like his whole approach--he was very interested in what I was looking for, and helped me specify what I did and didn't really want in a CX-5. He was knowledgeable, and even encouraged me to consider the Touring rather than the Grand Touring, because I could add in the things I wanted and avoid paying for things I didn't care about. I never felt pressured, and really appreciated getting a written quote before I left, so I could go home and think about it. I came back the next day, having decided to buy, and everyone from Tye, to the sales manager and business manager were incredibly accommodating and helpful. That was today, so I am waiting until the additions can be installed, but I was able to see my actual car before I left, which I thought was a great touch. I'm very excited about the new car and also the Owner Loyalty Program, which seems like a great service plan which includes free car washes, towing and loaner cars!

My wife and I were considering replacing our Mazda5 with a CX-5. Test drove a couple vehicles over a couple of visits. Found Bill to be very straightforward, provided honest and knowledgeable answers and did not pressure us. We ended up purchasing a different vehicle, so did not go through the entire process at this dealership. I would recommend it though, as well as Bill. Had previously gone to this dealer a couple of times for parts and had a good experience with that as well, the technicians provided useful advice and parts were easy to get.

Mr. Henry Diep was just a wonderful salesperson: Enthusiastic about his offerings, but not aggressive. He listened and coached us along rather than try to "win" the sale. His self-depricating humor was charming and combined with his product knowledge, he is a salesperson to seek out when you are hoping to buy from Wellesley Mazda.

Sophia Tiburcio greeted my husband and I immediately as we entered the dealership. We were interested in the Mazda 3 hatchback, the car that she herself owns, so we knew we were in good hands. She gave us all the time we needed to have all of our questions answered, and to take a test drive. When the exact car we wanted wasn't available in Wellesley, Sophia found our car at another dealership and went to get it for us the next day. The experience couldn't have gone more smoothly. Professional, knowledgeable and most importantly, a great, friendly, approachable personality. I highly recommend Wellesley Mazda.

I have been working with Alex Bonanno on buying a new Mazda6. She is easy to work with, professional, and impressively knowledgeable about both the cars and the dealership. More generally, everyone I have been in contact with at the dealership has been pleasant, courteous and helpful. The post-market services, such as free oil changes, are also very appealing.

Everyone I dealt with there was very friendly. Low key. Helpful. I tested several Mazdas with them. Finally went with a red Mazda 3 Hatchback, standard transmission. Rides great. Looks snappy! If we go with a Mazda for car#2, we'll probably be back.

Purchased a 2016 Mazda6 Grand Touring Sedan from a great dealership. Alex Bonanno, sales representative, is terrific. Best automobile ever. Great staff. My automobile was prepared beautifully by the service dept. The Soul Red paint color is such a standout that I have received multiple compliments. Absolutely happy with my purchase, salesperson and the dealership. Having owned 6 Hondas over the last 30 years this was the first time ever I purchased a Mazda. Couldn't be more pleased with the latest edition of the Mazda6.

I have been Wellesley Mazda for repairs on my car in the past. Last week I stopped by to test drive the Mazda 3. I had the pleasure of meeting a Sales Consultant by the name of Henry Diep. Henry had a great way about him; friendly, honest, professional and knowledgeable...I cannot not rave enough about him. If you happen to visit the dealership for a test drive or purchase, do yourself a favor and ask for Henry.

I recently purchased a 2011 Subaru Outback that Wellesley Mazda acquired on a trade-in. I found the car after searching online and went for the initial test drive on Veterans Day last month. My initial appointment was with Greg Flowers, but most of my interaction took place with Carlos Pereira. An Army veteran himself, Carlos was incredibly hospitable and helpful to me and my family as we arrived at Wellesley Mazda to take the Subaru on a test drive. We fell in love with the car immediately. Unfortunately since I reside in Rhode Island we could not leave that day with the car. Thankfully Carlos took care of the details and even drove the car to the Rhode Island DMV HQ to register the vehicle and pay RI taxes before turning over the keys. This was the first time I have ever purchased a car from a dealer and thanks to Carlos and the rest of the team at Wellesley Mazda it was an easy and painless process.

As a 25 year old female buying her first car, I was naturally very nervous buying a car alone. Wellesley Mazda, Alex, and Bill were absolutely incredible. I highly recommend this dealership!

As a first-time car buyer not from the US, I had only the most elementary idea of how buying a car works in the US. However, I was very well taken care of at Wellesley Mazda, and now have the car I needed. What made the car-buying experience much more pleasant was the friendliness and helpfulness of Henry Diep. Henry spent an entire afternoon showing me the options and was incredibly patient during the test drives and explanations of the cars. He was attentive and always eager to offer insight into whatever feature of the car we were looking at. Thank you Henry for all your help!

As a first time car buyer, I was very lucky to have someone as knowledgeable and trustworthy as Sophia to help with my purchase. It was reassuring of her to keep me informed through the entire purchasing process as the dealership located and obtained a CX-3 in the color I wanted. She also kept me in the loop of when the dealership restocked with a few accessories that I decided to add post-purchase. I worked with a number of sales people at dealerships down the road from Wellesley Mazda during my car search and Sophia by far was truer to her word that she was working for me to help with my purchase and not just trying to sell a car.

After being completely turned off by another dealership, I found Wellesley Mazda and I'm so happy I did. Not only did they meet my finance needs without hassle, their employees went above and beyond. Sophia was very professional, curtious and not at all pushy! She even gave me a ride to the dealership after I turned in my old vehicle!! I bought a Mazda 6 at the end of August (you can see my review from then) and had a great experience. 11 days later, the car is parked at the curb and gets totaled. I texted Sophia and went right back to Wellesley Mazda; they gave me a better deal, and the finance people gave me a better rate. There were two things that most impressed me about working with Sophia. She was always available; she let me text her on her cell phone, and responded right away even about little paperwork issues. Also, when I first visited the showroom I told her that I would be on vacation for the next week and she could call me afterwards. She was the ONLY dealer who respected my privacy and didn't call me the next day. This is a classy and efficient operation, with nice people and a pleasant buying environment.

I haven't purchased a car since I was 15 (I like to run them to the ground), and Juancarlos Franco at Wellesley Mazda helped make the experience less daunting when I was ready for round 2. He was very professional, helpful, and most importantly, honest. Everything was great -- looking at the available models, the test drive, and the closing process. I was in and out fairly quickly and on with my day. Working with the sales managers after to get everything ready was also a breeze. I couldn't recommend this location enough. I was on my way to a wedding and stopped in by chance to check out a car on the lot that had caught my eye. Bill, the gentleman I met at the front of the showroom, was incredibly gracious, helpful, and provided excellent customer service. He answered all my questions and we took a lengthy test drive of the car I was interested in. He also worked with management to maximize the value of my trade and my insurance company to get me on the road and registered within a couple days. Bill, thank you for everything, and I can certainly say Wellesley Mazda should be on anyone's list!

Wellesley Mazda's service dept is horrible. I purchased a new car from them in June. They had no problem sweet talking me then. I brought it in for service today and sat there for 2 hours before they came and told me they didn't have the part. They then made me prepay for the part sighting it was too expensive. Really whoever had to do that. When I called to speak to the manager he outright lied to me and told me it was a misunderstanding. I will never go there again and have reported them to the better business bureau.

From the moment I walked through the doors, I was treated with respect and appreciation for my potential business. My salesperson, Alexandra Bonanno, worked with us to determine which vehicle would best meet our needs, even though we had difficulty accurately describing all of them. She was patient, taking us on two test drives so that we could compare. I could not have hoped for a better salesperson. Each of the people I worked with at Wellesley Mazda demonstrated the same level of professionalism. Will Smith worked to get the best pricing and financing available and was extremely helpful throughout the process. Alex Kamergorodsky patiently answered all of our final questions at turnover. Went here to test drive a Mazda CX-5 and get some numbers. My partner knew she wanted a car and wanted to purchase in a month or two, so we wanted to get everything situated. Was between a Mazda and Nissan, but knew nothing about a Mazda. The car was great and we would have probably bought it, but the moment we returned from the test driver we were asked "Can I earn your business if everything looks right?" My partner replied "I am probably not buying today" to which the sales person replied "We don't show numbers unless you want to buy today."Now, I've sold cars, and I've been a new sales person before. If someone is there test driving a car there is a chance they might want to buy. Yes, I know some customers string you along, but unless you try to build a mutual positive relationship (which our salesman did not) and realize that some buyers are hesitant, then no...we aren't buying. Also, the Manager, who knew this sale person was new, decided he was too busy to come over and try to earn our business. This same manager who the moment we left was walking around outside the store doing nothing...Needless to say, after being force fed the flip chart, we left knowing we liked the Mazda a lot but knew nothing about what mattered...price. We went to Nissan in Newton and bought a new Nissan. Same day. With the same attitude that we weren't going to buy, but the sales person treated us honestly and with no pressure and showed us numbers...you know, the thing that truly matters when it comes to buying a car...and he worked with us. Knowing that Mazda would not show us any numbers, and their Mazda dealership was the closest to our location by 30 minutes, we knew Nissan was the way to go. The moral is this: People buy cars in different manners. If you get to know their true motives then the walls come down. A vanilla approach is not the best approach. Especially when you have a good product.

I was considering Mazda for the purchase of my first new car. I stopped by Wellesley Mazda, and as soon as I walked in, I was warmly greeted by Sophia and the rest of the team. Not like in other dealerships, where you walk in and feel like no one notices you.Sophia was extremely helpful throughout the entire process, from test drive to finalizing the paperwork. In the several times I went to the dealership, she was always pleasant to work with, friendly, knowledgable, and was extremely thorough and remembered all the little details that I had brought up in previous visits. It was all the little things (not really that little) that were done right that made me feel very comfortable dealing with her and the Wellesley Mazda team.

We had shortlisted a few cars, but the Mazda was the first one we went to check out, mostly because that was on the top of our list. Bill Ianelli was great to work with and explained the differences between the various trims.Once I had decided to go the lease route with the 2016 Mazda CX 5 Grand Touring with all the packages included, Bill was able to give me and my wife a test drive in a comparable model and we were sold. There were no high pressure tactics. I know this because I instinctively walk away when that starts and never once did I feel that way. To find our perfect car, he had to make a few calls and 2 days later I was sitting in my new car with the all the paperwork done in minutes.Alex did the hand off and explained the next steps and gave me a walkthrough of the facility. He was a pleasure to talk to as well. Its been 500 miles (in 3 days) and I love the car. Glad I got to work with Bill who made the process so smooth and easy.

I had a very good experience buying a car from this dealer and dealing with Dave Quigley. We had obtained a price at another dealer through a car buying service, who also offered a special incentive. They matched it and offered a very reasonable allowance for our trade in. No BS or back and forth. The only thing keeping this from being five-star is the amount of time we had to wait in the showroom to complete the paperwork. I would definitely recommend the dealer in general and Dave in particular.

Sophia approached me as I was checking out the inventory. She asked what I was looking for and showed me cars within my parameters in a way that was not pushy at all, but actually supportive. I felt that she was level with me in addressing my hopes and expectations and in closing the deal. Auto purchases are, for me, a stressful experience. It was far better to go through the process with such a competent and kind salesperson. Will in finance was also great!

From the moment you walk in the showroom the entire staff makes you feel welcome. Matthew Marshall worked with me in a relaxed, professional, manner. He had the perfect Miata MX5 in stock and the entire purchase experience was enjoyable and easy. If your looking for a "Quality" Mazda dealer Wellesley Mazda is the place!

I worked with Sophia Tiburcio, she created a car buying experience that was more akin to shopping with a trusted friend. She kept close communication with me throughout the process, always letting me know what steps to take along the way. This is my second mazda but my first brand new car, and she settled my nerves leaving me feeling satisfied not only with my purchase, but with the entire experience at Wellesley Mazda. Alex informed me of all technical aspects of my cx5 and walked me through the service area. I will be going back again for the excellent service and loyalty program.

Truly recommend buying a car here! I went to a few different dealerships as we needed a reliable car without breaking the bank. Had a great experience with Sophia Tiburcio, who answered all my questions and gave me a lot of options. Sophia was communicative, helpful, knowledgeable and patient. We went on a few test drives with different cars and after some time I finally made my choice. You cant beat the price or the service! Sophia was great with discussing different payment options and I really felt like I was taken care off. The paperwork process was fairly quick and kudos to Will Smith for answering a hundred questions. The dealership is great and I have had a great experience with everyone there from Sales to Finance to Service departments. When I came to pick up the car the registration was taken care off between my insurance and Sophia, truly a Turn Key experience and a time saver, as well as making the experience less stressful! Big thanks to Greg, Rodrigo and Alex as well. Will be back!

Wellesley Mazda is a great place. I dealt with Sophia and she was great. She helped me get out of my former over-prised luxury brand lease and into a brand new Mazda 6. Got me the all-weather floor mats as well on top. Fast, friendly, and convenient. Rodrigo sharpened his pencil in the finance department and the lease contract was straight forward. Alex K. officially presented the new car and went over all its features and service program. Thank you guys!

After having been to a number of other brands dealerships in the area I have to say that working with Sophia was a refreshing break from the usual games. I was debating between getting a lease on a new version of my current car or switching to the Mazda CX-5. The quality of the car played a big role in my decision but almost equally so did the service I received from working with Sophia. She never pressured me or tried to sell me on features I didn't want. Also when it came to talking price she didn't do the usual dealership games of coming over with silly sheets of paper stamped with "final approved" or "manager authorized" to make it seem like I was getting a good deal. She just listened and found me exactly what I wanted for a fair price. She was equally helpful in working through some after purchase questions and issues related to plates/registration/insurance etc...I can honestly say this was the best car buying experience I have ever had!

Although I ended up buying a different car brand, I visited this dealership twice to test both versions of the Mazda 3 and the larger SUV crossover Mazda 5. Sofia was very engaging and took me on long test drives of these cars. Because of her enthusiasm and professionalism, I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a Mazda in the western suburbs of Boston.Chris (from Waltham, MA)

Great experience purchasing a certified preowned Mazda5 from this dealership. The salesman, Bill, was professional, knowledgeable and very committed to making sure we were comfortable through the entire process. The only reason the buying process is not 5 stars is because of the ridiculous purchase process that has to happen when the salesman has to go to the manager (who by the way hides in his office and never interacts with the customer) for any change in the deal, no matter how minor. It's silly, clearly embarrassing to Bill who probably has more years in sales experience than the manager and was a waste of time. I can see some people getting up and leaving because you can't work a deal without the mystery man in the back room being involved and the salesman having to get up from the customer and leave them unattended. Overall we are very happy with our purchase, but I hope the dealership reads these and gives Bill some ability to negotiate and close deals without the need to check in with some mystery man in the back room.

I came in with a reasonable outline of what I wanted for my trade in and what I was willing to pay for a new vehicle. The sales staff was no nonsense and reasonable. Very good experience. My Sales Consultant was Sophia Tiburcio. For some reason her name was not available to check of as my sales associate, and the site forced me to make a choice so I just randomly selected. If not for Sophia Tiburcio's friendly personality, accommodating nature and clear knowledge of the product, I may have eventually purchased the vehicle, but most likely not the day I went in to look at it. Sophia made me feel comfortable that I could trust the dealership, which has been an issue for me with other dealerships.I also wanted to mention that I worked out my loan with Will Smith. His name was not available as a choice either on this review site. Will was clear and was able to meet me at a reasonable place finance-wise. I had done my research prior to coming to the dealership, and Will exceeded my expectations just as Sophia did.

My girlfriend and I were searching for a specific car that only 2 dealerships in a 50 mile radius had. After talking with a dealership in CT, we decided to take our business to Wellesley. Bill was straight forward and honest from the beginning. We set up an appointment to see the car the next day.As expected, the car Bill had in stock was the exact one we were looking for. Seeing the car in person put everything into perspective. We were leaving with that car, period. I should also mention, due to the limited supply of this car, Bill had the upper hand. So, we were quick to move on a decision to start the buying process. Bill valued our trade, a 1998 Honda Civic. He was very honest with us in regards to what we should expect to receive. All in all, we got $350 more for our trade than we wanted. It wasn't over yet, though. We still had to negotiate a fair price for the car we wanted to buy. Now, everyone wants the absolute cheapest price. Bill knows this, and we know this. The price must be fair for both parties.Bill was very helpful and willing to negotiate. He exhausted his resources and spent the greater portion of his afternoon getting us the price we wanted. We were thrilled! Bill was able to get us all of the incentives, plus some. TrueCar? He beat it. KBB. He beat it. I guess the question I'm trying to answer is, "Would I recommend buying a car from Wellesley Mazda and Bill?". Simply put, yes. You'll be hard pressed to find a better dealership or "Master Salesman" as Bill likes to put it. It was clear to us from the beginning Bill was well educated and was looking out for us, the customer. If you're in the Massachusetts area and looking to buy a Mazda, consider buying it from Bill in Wellesley.

Due to an accident that totaled my wife's Honda Odyssey, we needed a replacement ASAP. We felt that we no longer needed a minivan and were looking at SUV's with a 3rd row seat option. We looked at Hondas and Toyotas but she didn't like them 100%. Also, the sales experiences at each of those dealerships were very disappointing! Many of the sales reps focused on selling a particular car, rather than truly understand what we wanted and/or needed. We arrived at Wellesley Mazda and we were immediately impressed with Bill Iannelli! He took the time to really understand what we needed, wanted and our budget requirements. What a tremendous relief to deal with a real auto professional! We settled on the CX-9 Touring model with the Tech package and my wife is THRILLED. Bill had to order the car from another state and kept us informed during the entire process.I also spoke with Joe Shaker, the owner of the Shaker Auto Group who owns Wellesley Mazda. Joe was very helpful and assisted us in the buying process early on. We were unsure whether or not to buy used or new and he instructed/coached me on various advantages of buying new. Again, the process was seamless, pleasant, and a true pleasure to work with such a professional organization.

I recently bought a new Mazda Mazda 6. I am happy to share my purchase experience. First, I had a very good price negotiation with Bill Lannelli for Mazda 6. Then we went for a test drive. I was very satisfied with the Mazda 6 test drive but they did not have the color that I wanted (M. Grey). Bill offered me that he could get the right color car for me if I could wait for until it arrived. I agreed and I went once they told my car had arrived. It tool a little longer for paper work but that was on my side. The overall purchase experience, I found to be very-good. If you want to do a straight forward business with good customer care, you want to go with Wellsley Mazda with Bill Lannelli, a professional. I am glad I did business with Bill Lannelli at Wellsley Mazda. Great Experience!

I want to give double thumbs up to Wellesley Mazda. Right from my first hello to Craig Bentley to picking up my vehicle two days later, it was a pleasurable experience. I hate the whole process of buying a car, but Wellesley Mazda was transparent with their prices and Craig never put the sales pressure on me. He was professional and extremely knowledgeable in answering any and all of my questions and concerns. I am a first time leaser, and he explained the process, costs etc in a very honest and transparent manner. After test driving a 2015 CX5 which was on the lot, he gave me time alone to think about my decision and I never felt rushed. Ultimately, I ended up with a beautiful 2016 CX5 which was in the showroom. He orchestrated all the necessary paperwork, and right from signing the lease to picking up my CX5, it was seamless. If you are looking for a Mazda, take a ride to Wellesley Mazda. They obviously strive for 100% customer satisfaction. And of course, ask for Craig Bentley. Youll be happy you did.

I came to this dealership after a horrible expirience at Bernardi Honda and I have to say I was blown away. I came in with a tainted view of dealerships and Wayne and the rest of the staff at Wellesley Mazda made me a true believer of what a great shpping experience should be like. I ended buying my used car the same day and they exceeded all my expectations with my trade in and getting me to my monthly budget. Will definitely be back when I'm back on the market.

Test-drove the Mazda 6. Luckily, got Bill Iannelli in sales. Honest, Direct. No-nonsense. And -- as I told him -- my "vintage." Meaning (let's just say) gray hair. I don't like sales kids. I want someone who's committed to helping me determine the best car for me. Talk to me like a person, not a potential sale. He did. Very informative, helpful test-drive. Good follow-up communications. Went back for a second test-drive. He made everything very easy for me. The sales manager, Rodrigo (sp?) was also terrific; friendly, polite and helpful.Ultimately, I decided this was not the right car for me and my driving-experience priorities. But I'd go back in a second if I changed my mind. Only negative: if you can, don't go on a weekend. Both the parking lot and the showroom are too small. And I actually had to wait a while before being able to see a sales person.

Called Wellesley Mazda on a Friday afternoon and booked an appointment for Saturday morning. I liked the 2006 Mazda 3 they had, so I wanted to see it. Craig Bentley greeted me, guided me through my test drive and helped me inspect the car in depth. Craig was so helpful, he even asked repairs (on a Saturday!) to place the car on a lift for me to look at from underneath! I was so glad, I bought the car on the spot!

I visited Bill at Wellesley Madza to check out the Mazda3 for my son--he is graduating from college and I wanted to do some research to help him buy his first car before he moves away for his first job. Bill was fun to talk to, put no pressure on me (after all, I was not buying for me) listened carefully to what I reported my son was looking for, and let me take a Mazda3 for a spin. A few weeks later, my son joined me for a visit and really wanted to drive the Madza6. The staff there were very accommodating even though they were absolutely packed with customers; Rodrigo got us hooked up. Bill followed up with emails and was eager to help us make the best decision possible for us. On our last visit, my son and I had narrowed our choices down and wanted one last drive; again, Bill was very helpful and accommodating. My son did not choose the Mazda but it was not because of the great staff there...they were really wonderful.

My girlfriend and I were in the market for a new or newish compact SUV and were upfront about our decision being between the CX-5 and the Honda CRV. Bill was honest about the relative qualities of each car and informative without ever being pushy. Ultimately the price between the two models was almost exactly the same, and our decision was made pretty easy because our experience with Bill at Wellesley Mazsa was far better than our previosu experience with the salesmen at Herb Chambers Honda in Allston, who were pushy and deceptive in their tactics.

I went to Wellesley Mazda with a pretty clear idea of what I wanted to drive away with. I was still nervous going into the dealership because the last time I went into a dealership (Westbrook Honda, CT) I had a really bad experience, in fact it was so discouraging I decided to buy a used car with cash back then (3 years ago.) Anyway, Wellesley Mazda, particularly my sales consultant Craig Bentley were professional from the get go. I was immediately relieved because I drove two hours to get there and thanks to previous experiences I have the practice of walking off car lots the instant I feel a bad vibe. Long story short, I had a very narrow search criteria, they had the car I wanted, it was everything it was advertised as and in better condition than other cars that were the same model year, price and mileage. My final thanks is to my sales consultant Craig Bentley for going the distance and personally delivering my new wheels to me in my home state of CT. Dealing with Wellesley Mazda was good business done professionally and I will recommend them to my friends in Mass. When the time comes again I will not hesitate to drive 2 hours out of my way to Wellesley because I am a professional and I only do business with my own kind.

This dealership has got to be one of the worst Mazda dealer around! The sales guy, Dan Sudberry, was absolutely clueless about the car and its features...luckily, I had done my research and knew exactly what I wanted and what it cost. The finance guy, Mark O'Toole will bulldoze you into buying every extra warranty there is out there. I initially got taken in and signed up for a extended 10-year warranty (among others), which increased the monthly payments significantly. When I later wanted to cancel (you have 60 days), he was completely non-responsive. I eventually managed to do it, only to find that my monthly payments wouldn't go down...just the total amount financed was reduced...this is a SCAM, so beware. He also told me that the Lojack system would reduce insurance by 35%...what he failed to mention is that even just a pre-installed alarm system gives you a reduction...turned out that the difference was ~$15/year, which would take decades to pay off at the price of the Lojack.

Had a chance to test drive the CX-5 Grand Touring a few days back and boy was I impressed. Aside from having a terrific driving experience I also, had a wonderful experience with my sales rep Bill Iannelli. I certainly don't look forward to walking into dealerships as I tend to be put off by overly pushy sales people. However, I have to admit I had a very positive interaction at this dealership. Bill was extremely knowledgeable about the car and took the time to explain all the features. I was considering the Nissan Rogue and after speaking with Bill about the pros and cons of each car I felt confident that the Mazda was the right choice. As a good consumer practice I did test drive the Rogue and found that Bills information to be honest and accurate. Thanks again Bill for all your help. Although, the Mazda CX-5 sells it self it was sure nice to have Bill there to answer my questions.Jamison MacIntosh

After seeing a used Honda on its web-site Friday night, I called the dealership first thing on Saturday morning. Bill Iannelli confirmed the car was still available, and I made arrangements to see it later that morning. Unfortunately, my schedule did not allow me to arrive earlier that morning. Sad to say, a customer who arrived right before I did, test drove the car and purchased it. Of course, I was bummed out. I decided to write because of Bill's friendliness when I first called the site, his respectful handling of two customers simultaneously arriving to look at the same car, and his offer to help me find something else that I would like after the first customer committed to buying the car. He was committed to providing great customer service and to earning a sale. Great job. I bought something elsewhere but I would consider this site in the future and recommend this dealership and staff, especially Bill. Thanks,Fern

I knew it was time to upgrade my 1999 Toyota Camry so decided to change manufacturers as well as dealership. Since I am a lifelong resident of Wellesley, MA and heard great reviews of Mazda, I decided to start my car search at our local Mazda dealership - WELLESLEY MAZDA! Never ventured any further. From the moment I stepped into the showroom, I knew this would be my new dealership. No pressure and the salesman, Bill Iannelli, was most courtesy and answered all my questions. Explained everything very thoroughly and convinced that this 76 y.o. senior that she could still drive a sharp RED car! Alex explained the features of the car and I could tell he would always be available to answer any questions going forward. Had a tour of the service center and met the service manager so all-in-all this was an excellent experience and I knew I made the right choices........................dealership and RED Mazda 3i GT. Looking forward to recommending this dealership to my friends and neighbors. Mary Bowers

Wayne Xides did a great job, making a sale when things were stacked against him. We came to look at an advertised used car and Wayne greeted us. He was helpful but not pushy, giving us the information we asked for and making things pleasant. When we went to test drive the car it turned out it had developed a little problem. We were about to walk away but Wayne managed to make the sale in such a way as to please and benefit everyone. When we came back to pick up the car, everything was perfect. Great work!

I am not new to purchasing a car however I am new to deceptive sales tactics used at the last minute in order to force me to buy a vehicle. If I wasn't an educated buyer, I could have been tricked into a bad deal with Wellesley Mazda. This dealership agreed with me on a price for a new Mazda and a price for my trade in. After making me wait for 3 hours to meet with the business manager, my sales rep then informed me that I was not eligible for the incentive financing offered by Mazda. During this three hour time frame, they took my deposit, they switched the plates from my old car to the new one, they even had the customer service manager meet with me. Yet, at the last minute, they leveraged a pressure style sales tactic to force me into a purchase. The GM didn't want to create a win-win situation and let me walk. I am surprised this dealership has any positive ratings based on my experience. I will be sharing my feedback with others in my network who are considering purchasing a Mazda. Best advice I can give someone who is working with this dealer is to skip the sales rep and manager and speak with the business manager early. Save yourself the hassle and get everything in writing up front.

Although I did not end up buying a Mazda, it had nothing to do with my experience with Bill Iannelli or the dealership. In the old days, being a woman alone buying a car was a mortifying proposition, but this was the opposite. Although we were literally in a Nor'easter, Bill found me a car that fit my specifications and took me on a 10-mile test drive. He was polite, professional, and friendly. He is passionate about Mazdas and explained why, and had me put the car under various tests--hugging curves, doughnuts in a parking lot, etc.--to show its features. If this excellent brand is on your list, you should go to Wellesley.

My salesperson at Wellesley Mazda, Fabiane Folker, was a nice lady, great to work with, and I LOVE my new 2014 Mazda3 GT-S 5-door! (My previous car was a 2005 Mazda3 5-door.)Although it was a difficult for them to locate a Mazda3 GT-S with exactly the features and accessories I wanted, they did a great job, and found one with 99% of what I asked for, which was close enough for me.As for the price, I used the Consumer Reports Auto Buying Service, which contacted a number of Mazda Dealers in the Boston area. Not only was Wellesley Mazda the closest dealer to take part in the service, they also offered the best price, so it was a no-brainer.I have watched Wellesley Mazda grow over the years, and have used their Service Department a number of times. They have always done great work, and I was happy to give them my business.

I researched all the trim levels before coming to the showroom so I thought I knew exactly what I wanted pending a test drive. After the test drive (during which Paul pointed out many of the cars features (like the blind spot warning and the backup camera), we went back to the showroom and Paul went over all the trim levels with me again.(probably a dozen times). He was extremely knowledgeable and never got impatient even though I kept forgetting the differences between models. I think he thought I was ready to buy that day and when I said I needed to "sleep on it" he didn't pressure me. He understood this was a big decision. By the time I made a decision my car died and Paul picked me up and brought me back to the showroom. Since they knew I was without a car they went out of their way to get all the paperwork and registry stuff done immediately so I could drive my new car home the same day. The whole car buying experience was painless. I would recommend this dealership and I highly recommend Paul Liaknickas.

Had a really nice experience with Kevin, who is a new salesperson. He was honest, direct and polite. Honesty is the especially important one - he was frank with what he could and could not do. And Darren seemed friendly enough. However, Greg jumped in on the conversation (via email), left Kevin out of the conversation each email he sent, and proceeded to openly state things that were not true (regarding availability and price matching) and his overall cocky attitude left a bad aftertaste in my mouth. He completely lost this dealership the sale, as this is the most convenient dealership for me and I was really interested in finding a compromise, even if it meant them transferring a vehicle from a different dealership.I can't say for sure but it also seems like the 'policy' of price matching is words only - they were simply unwilling to match pricing, even when provided with direct quotes from other dealerships. Kevin gets 5 stars, Darren as well - but Greg gets 0 - cocky, dishonest and lives up to every bad stereotype of car salesmen.

Car buying can be a horrible experience and I have been down that road before. I was fortunate enough to be dealing with Bill Iannelli at Wellesley Mazda. He was straightforward and a pleasure to do business with and I negotiated a good deal on a used 2007 Honda Accord for my son. My son was working at the time so I put a 24 hour $500 deposit on the car for him to take a look at it after work. My son ended up not liking the color so I let Bill know that evening that the deal was off. Bill immediately credited my account as soon as he heard from me. There is a reason he has been selling cars for over 14 years. Should you ever have to buy a car at Wellesley Mazda please ask for him and you will be glad you did.

It was great overall and I really enjoyed dealing with Miss.Robertor. She took time to answer all of my many many questions, was very helpful and helped me decide which vehicle was better suited to my needs. I would definitely deal with her again. Miss. Robertor helped me as well and while l had less contact with her she was very nice and professional. Even though my credit was not all that good, she is still helped me out.

To avoid the usual tactics associated with car buying I conducted two conversations via email and one by phone to confirm that an offer was legitimate and set up an appointment to go through with the deal.Don't waste your time because nothing is as it seems - Bill was rude, manager Greg was just as rude and they make an attempted car deal worse than your wildest dreams.

In looking to buy a small new SUV, I was very interested in the Mazda CX-5. I visited Wellesley Mazda 3 times to learn about this vehicle and test drive it. Fabiane Folker helped me each time. I was impressed that she personally had bought a Mazda prior to her employment at the dealership. She knew the general features of the vehicle well, was enthusiastic, and very accommodating on short notice in arranging for my wife and me to test drive a car with the navigation system and other features of interest. I was also impressed with her honesty. When I asked some very technical questions, she quickly arranged for me to speak with a sales manager who provided the answers. Finally, in a profession dominated by men, it was refreshing to see Wellesley Mazda hiring a woman in sales.

Woooow, I was completely surprised by the excellent service and experience I had when getting my new Mazda. I was expecting the typical car salesman pressure but instead I meet with Fabiane who was exactly the opposite. She was very nice and helpful and I didn't feel pressured at all. Thanks you wellesely mazda and Fabiane for the great car and experience.

Overall a really good place to buy a vehicle. The staff was understanding and worked to find something that worked for me. They pay for every other service (ends up being the cheaper ones) which is a nice break every other 3500 miles. Bill was my sales guy and he was definitely knowledgeable. He was eager to make the sale and has been friendly when I run into him when I head back for service. During the sale he was a bit rushy but I get that's the job. I ended up missing some points I wanted to try to get included in the sale, like the roof rack. A couple of minor criticisms: I recently brought the car in for a regular service and told them that a plastic piece had broken on the undercarriage. That was met with well that's just for aerodynamics and not that important and they asked the mechanic there what he did and he said he just pushed it up and duct taped it. I know it is probably minor but the car is less than a year old and it made me wonder if that's their general approach.

It was a pleasure to walk into a dealership and not be pressured to buy a car. I meet with Aaron on my first visit and test drove a grey 2013 used Mazda CX-5's. I had in my head that I really liked the red 2014 CX-5. Since it was closing I came back the next day to test drive the red 2104 Mazda CX-5 with Fabiane and really loved it. Everyone at Wellesley Mazda were very nice and never pressured me to buy a car. It was unlike any other time I bought a car. It was really refreshing. Every dealership should operate in this fashion. I have mentioned them to all my friends and family.

I recently purchased a 2014 Mazda3 and needless to say the car is amazing. The sales representative that helped me, Fabiane, was extremely helpful and friendly. Before purchasing this car, I was torn between the Nissan Altima and the Mazda3, but the excellent customer service and car quality was enough to convince me that the Mazda3 was the right choice. The sales people at Wellesley Mazda truly are professionals and my sales representative Fabiane was just the nicest person. I definitely recommend asking for her if you're planning on going to the Wellesley Mazda dealership.

I recently ordered a Mazda6 from Wellesley Mazda, the sales representative was very friendly and patient. He answered every single question I had. Other sales representative even borrowed to me a phone charger. The waiting time to talk with a sales person was not too long. I drove test the car and the sales representative explained all the functionality while we were in the ride.Unfortunately, they did not have the color I wanted so I was not able to get the car from them.

I was deciding between the CX-5 and the Subaru Forester. In the end I went with the Forester, liked the ride better, smoother. I will say the sales people at Wellesley Mazda were great. Very helpful and patient. I had lots of questions and they took their time to listen to me and answer truthfully. Very impressive. The two standouts were Gregg and Fabiane. Fabiane was really great in that she even let me test drive two models without her. I wanted to see how the car ran on the highway. She set the car up and let me go. Very impressive. She was fun to talk to, too. I'm happy with my Subaru but would definitely recommend the folks at Wellesley Mazda.

Salesperson Fabiane Folker really made our experience. She was knowledgeable charming, a standout. She helped us find a great car. But more importantly, she made us feel like we were joining a warm community centered around a family business. Working with her was a delight, and we look forward to returning to the dealership.

I have bought my last two new cars at Wellesley Mazda. I have had great experiences with both of my Mazdas - first a Mazda 6, and now a CX5. This time around I worked with Fabiane, who was great to work with - so friendly and knowledgeable, and not at all the high-pressure salesperson that I loathe. She was honest and patient, and made the process fun. I would recommend the Mazda line, and Wellesley Mazda - but be sure to work with Fabiane - there is another salesperson there who is an aggressive alpha male.

My family tried to buy a car here. Even put money down and were ready to complete the deal UNTIL car was not ready and dealer would not take responsibility. Blamed my insurance company and then was disrespectful and " bullying" toward us. And then, told us we would forfeit our deposit if we did not go through with the purchase. Now they are attempting to keep the deposit - even though they incurred no expenses or cost. That goes against what is written in their agreement. All they can say is. "In MA we are not required to refund a deposit."

Great experience with Wellesley Mazda primarily because of the style and the substance of my encounter with the sales person, Fabi. Her overall demeanor and attitude was just so refreshing, after visiting 6 other dealers. No games; not even close -- just a warm, friendly listener trying to provide a win--win situation. And she did. Greg and Alex were very good too, but Fabi convinced a very fussy and skeptical buyer to finally commit and to feel great about it. When was the last time you wanted to give a hug to your auto salesperson? I highly suggest asking for Fabi.

I've never felt so cheated, swindled, belittled and insulted in all my life. Bill Iannelli lied, spoke derisively, and treated me with great disrespect. In addition to the normal sales pressure pitches, they harassed, made empty promises (which will result in $800 in repairs), and only decided I was worth their time after I had posted a few negative reviews online (in fact, they read the reviews and contacted me in anger and incredulity before even looking at the email I had sent several days prior to posting the reviews). Sales manager Darren Bonanno did his best to rectify the situation by giving me a free touch-up to cover all the scratches Bill assured me would be gone when I picked up my car. However, Darren later added the ultimatum that he would only keep the promises made at the dealership if I did not post any further negative reviews. Funny - I was under the impression that their promises to me should've been upheld regardless. Instead, I was called "unethical" for sharing my negative experiences with Bill (though I feel it would be unethical not to share). So I agreed not to write any more negative reviews. Instead, I have edited this after Darren's prompting to be a positive review. There is no sarcasm intended.Darren is a good man, who has his customers, employees, and dealership at heart. He meant well, and did everything he could to mend things with me while still turning over a good profit for the vehicle. Barring Bill's empty promises, gruff rudeness, and insistence that I violate my rental car contract, I thought the employees were kind, helpful and courteous. Paul was an absolute sweetheart, and replaced a wheel cover (one of the things Bill promised would be done before I picked up the car) in the rain for me.As I mentioned, Darren and the rest of the staff did their best. For me, it was too little, too late, and I ended up spending more than I felt the car was worth, because I made the purchase under false pretenses. The dealership cannot be held responsible for Bill Iannelli's poor behavior and tactics. If you do end up buying from them, ask for Paul - he's down to earth and will treat you right.

From start to finish this was the best car shopping experience I've ever had. We were promptly greeted at the door, offered coffee and only waited a couple minutes before Paul arrived. We had a particular car in mind and he brought it around and took us for a test drive. It was a great car, 2011 pre-owned Mazda 3 with a grand touring package, and it could have sold itself but Paul, with his knowledge and personality, put the icing on the cake and we were hooked! But the great customer service didn't end there. When we returned the next day to pick up the car, it was freshly washed and spotless in and out. Paul got us an extra key (a bit of a deal with having to get it programmed, etc.) and took us on a "tour" of the car showing us all the features and helping to set up our cell phones to the blue tooth and how the GPS worked. AND, when it came time to register the car, he met me on his day off and endured an almost 3 hour wait at the registry with just as much personality as he'd shown when we first met. A top notch salesman and all-round great guy! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the dealership to friends and family and would definitely return if/when I'm in the market for a new or used car in the future.

While I used the Consumer Reports car buying program to secure a price for my Mazda CX5, from the start I found this experience to be better than most because of the lack of pressure. I also looked at the Honda CR-V, and the salesman there kept pushing me to buy immediately. Bill was friendly and professional and did not push me when I told him I wasn't quite ready. He gave me all the information I needed and let me test drive the car. I came away finding it to be a much less stressful experience than I've had before.

I car shopped for about a month. The sales people were too pushy for me at most places. I finally became interested in the Mazda6 and went to Wellesley Mazda. The experience was way less stressfull! There was no pressure and they let me test drive the car twice! I liked how the car drove so I bought it. I wish it had fog lights, a better stereo, and power seats for the price I paid though. I would however definitely recommend Wellesley Mazda over anywhere else I visited.

My experience at Wellesley Mazda was exceptional: consistently courteous, informative, professional, polished, friendly service. The "cast of Mazda servers" was quite remarkable - four excellent informed men worked with me throughout the whole sale experience. I felt incredibly "taken care of". Greg Flowers was an ideal Sales Manager regarding decisions about the cost of my new Mazda 3, and the car that I traded in. He projected fairness in the context of his clarity of thought and well-meaning. Alex Kamergorosky seemed a master in anticipating my next questions, and was incredibly prepared as Customer Care Coordinator to facilitate with ease questions/answers that we exchanged and introducing me to my very own Mazda, with which I drove away.I especially appreciated the patience of Bill Iannelli in helping me to understand Mazda car classifications' jargon. I am not knowledgeable in the least with these types of car classifications; I do not comprehend well mechanical jargon or new technical devises - especially related to the newest computer jargon - in ALL - Bill was extremely patient, a very good listener, excellent at trying to get on to my "wave length" and when we connected, a very good and thorough teacher about all matters: Mazdaisms, mechanicalisms, and computerisms. In my several trips to Mazda Wellesley Bill was consistently prepared, emailed me in advance, and throughout all facets of my working with him towards making a good decision Bill was extremely helpful and insightful. On a 1-10 Scale I would rate Bill Iannelli as an outstanding 10 !!Sincerely,Jim MarvinJameson Marvin

Thanks to everyone at Wellesley Mazda for helping us take home our brand spanking new CX-5 Sport. The car is beautiful and we couldn't be happier with it after the first few days. Everyone at Mazda was helpful and accommodating with us and treated us with care and respect. Bill was the main person we dealt with and he treated us very well, was open and honest about everything we asked about, and in the end was able to provide us with a great car. The manager Greg was wonderful and got all the paperwork and signatures out of the way painlessly, and Alex, the delivery coordinator was also a very kind and friendly gentleman. They all had smiles on their faces and seemed to truly want us to leave happy. Thanks again!

The moment we started negotiation on the car, they miscalculated the price multiple times. We had to show them on a calculator as not to screw us with committed price. They will find a way to get more money out of you. When they find out you are negotiating with another dealer, they will start bullying, insulting and yelling at you. It was the worst experience ever. Suggest look for another dealer, this is the worst experience we have had. We did not buy it from then (Thank God). Check their other ratings on the web, you will see how bad they are. There are many other dealers out there that deserve your business then these guys.

Although we didn't end buying a car, the salesman, Kyle, was great. He was not pushy, was informative, got information when needed and never BS'ed. We really trusted what he said. We would have loved to buy car from him (Mazda 3 hatchback), and nearly did, but couldn't agree on a price with his superior/manager as I was about to leave the country for a few days, and his manager felt it would be too rushed. I bought a car someplace else, as the car I was interested was sold while I was away, so can't comment on the rest of the dealership,

From the moment we arrived at Wellesley Mazda to the moment we left. Bill Iannelli made us feel welcome and took care of our every need. He listened to our needs, came up with a great list of suggested cars and let us try them all out. He was straight forward, honest and extremely easy to work with (he even put up with my pushy father-in-law on the phone with a smile). At the end of the day we got the perfect car for our family at the perfect price. That was two years ago today and I still couldn't be happier with our purchase.I would (and have) recommend Bill to any one looking to purchase a new or used vehicle. Thank you Bill and thank you Wellesley Mazda. They still take good care of us to this day.

Very poor lack of follow up. When purchasing car, salesperson was supposed to contact me with date/time my car would be available. Never received call. Salesperson knew I would be starting work and needed the car for work by a certain date and still no follow up. I kept calling the dealership for any status and would leave a message or be told that they would call me back. Never happened. There were insurance issues with my car that were never brought to my attention - I only found out after calling about when I could get my car. Again, lack of follow up.Purchased an accessory for car that after installed was not what was promised. I have yet to speak to a manager (have left several messages) or the salesperson about this.If you buy your car here - they will nice and courteous. If you have any issues or need them to contact you for anything at all - it will not happen. There were other reviews of this dealership stating the same problem. I ignored them thinking they were 1-off's. Boy was I wrong.I will never purchase from this dealer again.

This dealer was terrible to work with. They tried to pressure me to buy a couple of times with the classic lame pressure tactics. Since they are local to be I tried to give them a chance to win my business. They said they would match my best alternate quote. When I came in they backtracked on the match. Greg Flowers was rude and angry. I walked out frustrated that they wasted my time. The manager came out to my car and offered to fill my gas tank (which was full).

Took ten minutes to acknowledge that we were there in the lobby, then 20 minutes later, were told we'd have to wait until sales staff might be available without being specific to "are we talking 15 minutes, 30 minutes, and 1 hour?" Staff could not commit a time to us....so we said GOOD BYE---We will NEVER buy a car there--EVER!!

Prior to going to Wellesley Mazda I did look at the reviews via Dealerrater, and was impressed by what I read. The dealership also had the models, in the colors and trim I was looking for. So although 2 other Mazda dealerships were closer, iut was an easy choice to make the drive to Wellesley Mazda. I was not disappointed.I was warmly greeted upon entering the showroom after taking some time to look over the cars and CUV's in the lot. Sales Management sent over Wayne Xides to assist me with any questions and discuss my visit there. I told Wayne I was trying to decide on purchasing the CX-5, or Mazda6 (Grand Touring for both). He quizzed me on what items I was looking for, why I was choosing the high trim level to be sure I really understood all the items included and whether they fit my actual needs for the car (or CUV). Nice touch. I was informed I could certainly drive both models, and he made sure to obtain the trim and models (AWD) for the CUV, so I could actually test what I might later purchase. The conversation, information and test drives were very relaxed, and Wayne's knowledge and support of the Mazda line of vehicles was evident in any questions I asked, or information that he provided. I did not hide the fact that I was looking to buy a vehicle today. I did see the Stormy blue (sand interior) CX-5 - one of the vehicles I was looking at, drive off the parking lot (to a new lucky buyer) when I drove in, so I was already a little apprehensive at getting the color and model I wanted, but although both vehicles drove fantastic, I had to go with the soul red Mazda6 Grand Touring. The Sales person and credit manager worked with me to allow my purchase of the mazda6 right on the showroom floor. It ...was...stunning. The dealership was very busy on the Saturday Columbus Day weekend, so my stay was a bit longer than expected, but the service from all personnel I spoke with was top notch. They processed my registration well within the 7 days, even though Monday was a holiday, and everything went smoothly. Lastly, the dealership itself has an amazing customer focused loyalty program. I am very glad I researched the dealerships before going to make my purchase. Thanks to all at Wellesley Mazda :)

Bill Iannelli understood what we were looking for and did not hesitate to accommodate our needs. We walked into Wellesley Mazda only to take a peek at options prior to moving forward with a purchase we had set our minds on elsewhere. The professionalism and courtesy Bill showed us was more than enough to sway our minds, and we left happy with a beautiful new car at a good deal. Best dealer I have dealt with. Thanks, Bill.On a side note, I feel that the young new manager we discussed financing options with (I don't recall his name) could improve a lot with regard to dealing with customers. Despite our disinterest, he was quite insistent on our purchasing warranty options.Other than that, everyone else at the dealership was wonderful. I would recommend to a friend.

I would purchase my second car from Wellesley Mazda if given the chance. Roberta Garces Viana was our sales agent, and she took great care of us, and helped us a lot throughout the process of purchasing our pre-owned Mazda 3 s GT hatchback. I would recommend to friends and family.

I was on a time constriction with strict budget considerations and they were amazingly friendly, accommodating and efficient, and turned around a new car purchase in less than 2 hours from when I pulled in to when I pulled out with the car in my possession. I will (and already have) highly recommend both Bill and Wellesley Mazda to anyone in the market for a new car and look forward to future purchases. Easily the best experience I've had at a car dealership, and this was my 6th purchase.

Purchasing my New Mazda Miata was a wonderful experience because I knew the model, color and equipped Mazda Miata what I wanted to buy and what I could afford to pay. Bill Iannelli, Master Sales Consultant, and his staff treated me with upmost curtesy with answers to my questions and pointing out the unique driving features of the car I purchased. I bought the car for the price they quoted without any question because it was the price I offered to pay and it was delivered with the color I requested and with more equipment that I had ordered! I would say this dealership is really customer focused and it was an enjoyable purchasing experience. I will certainly recommend Wellesley Mazda to others as they are really a First Class dealership!

I am very happy with my purchase from Wellesley Mazda. Bill and Paul were very knowledgeable about their product and super friendly. It's great to do business with people that stand behind their product 100%. The dealership was comfortable and laid back, which made me feel at ease to make this major purchase.Visit them as soon as possible. You will not be disappointed!

The website listed a variety of cars in my price range and let me compare the details, including CARFAX listings, all in one place. Scheduling a test drive was quick and easy, and Bill had the CARFAX printout ready for me when I arrived. Test drive was thorough and long; plenty of time to get acquainted with the cars. Yes, I took one out, got to know it, pulled back in and took out another, with no trouble or pushiness involved. They were also able to match the low rate that I had been approved for, so there was less running around for me when it came time to buy.Give them a try!

I would highly recommend Jayson since he is extremely friendly, helpful and patient. Every time I see him, I am happy. Whenever I have any questions, he is ready to answer them and provide me with some good advice. He is professional and the whole purchase experience was excellent. By the way, the new car I bought was so great!!!!

From start to finish, these guys were great. I just leased my second Mazda from Wellesley Mazda (both times after working with Bill Iannelli) and will be back to do so for my third. Easy to work with, communicative, not pushy and happy to work with you so that you leave happy. I new car is great (so was my old one!) and I couldn't be happier. Working with people that you trust takes almost all of the pressure out of buying a new car. I was in-and-out of the dealership in less than two hours. Thanks guys!

Jayson was very pleasant and actually called me weeks later when he found a very car I was looking for. This was a pleasant surprise after dealing with several other sales people from other dealerships that just never looked for or kept an eye out or even called me back about a car unless they had it right then and there. Jayson never gave up! He is a great asset to wellesly mazda!

Though we didn't buy a vehicle here, we had a very good experience meeting with Jayson Navarro and Dan McBride. We chose to go with another brand, however it had nothing to do with price or our sales experience. The other vehicle was better suited to our immediate needs. If you are considering a Mazda, I would recommend contacting Jayson.

Wayne was my sales consultant when I test drove the Mazda3. Right off the bat, he seemed technically knowledgeable. Being an engineer, I was very impressed by the fact that he knew his car technical details. This guy didn't seem like the stereotypical car salesperson. He was pretty straightforward about pricing and options, and how much he could tweak things. He did not try to confuse me with any answer. Another dealer I had spoken to for my friend's car, tried to create confusion with options, tried to get him to sign stuff, and started disregarding things we claimed. That gave me more appreciation for Wayne's style of working. After we got a deal with the car, we went to meet Rodrigo, their finance guy. This guy seemed friendly but in a few minutes he started pressurising me with interest rates and add-on options. He said that if I don't close out the loan then, he will not be able to get the deep dealer-discount from Mazda USA and I won't get the car at that price. Fortunately, it was getting late and he gave me a good rate in the interest of leaving soon. A few days later, when I came back with insurance information, he casually mentioned that my loan was still open, and I could finance some add-on options such as extended warranty along with my car. This was surprising to say the least.Bottomline: Wayne Xides is a great guy to buy a car from, and gives good customer service. Can't say the same about Rodrigo Nadal.

I bought a new Mazda 3 from Wellesley Mazda last year in May and have consistently had really excellent service from them including help with little things I needed. The staff are all really friendly and incredibly helpful. In 30 years of owning and servicing cars this is the best dealership I've ever been to. They don't condescend to women, like so many other dealerships do. I would recommend them 100%

My wife and I found that Jayson was from the start genuine and honest. I think that is a golden trait in sales and especially automobile sales. Our experience was closer to talking about cars with an old friend than being handed sales pitches. I did not experience any of the horrible reasons people hate buying a used car. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend Jayson and Wellesley Mazda.

Bought a new 2012 Mazda 5. Overall, a great car-buying experience. Went to another area dealership first and had a pretty terrible experience... should have gone to Wellesley first! Here, they were very friendly and treated me with respect and professionalism. Would recommend both the car and the dealership.

They might be great when you're paying them, not when you want to get your NEW car fixed on their warranty...I bought a 2011 Mazda 3 here in late June 2011. By the end of 2012 it was making this awful high pitched shrill noise whenever I used the air. I made an appointment with THIS dealership because I had bought my car here and my sales man calls me every few months to see "how I like my Mazda", I had generally liked the place so far. I drove two hours down there and explained what was going on. I was very clear on the fact that it didn't ALWAYS make the noise, it was sporadic, and that it didn't make it when the vent was on 4. First of all they quoted me a price of $220, which was ridiculous to me because my car is still under warranty. Anyway, the kid comes back an hour later and tells me I am all set to go, "there is nothing wrong with your car". I told him there most certainly was something wrong with it, the noise is unbearable when it comes on and it doesn't always do it. After trying to explain this to him several times he shrugs an says "I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU". I said, I know I am going to get back in the car and get halfway home and it is going to start up again...he says "make sure the dial isn't stuck between 2 numbers"... sorry do you think I don't know how to turn a DIAL? At this point he and the other mechanics are looking at me like I am crazy. So I leave. Go back to my car...dial is on 4! So of course it wasn't making the noise. About half an hour into my trip home...sound is back....Upset about the encounter, I write an email to my salesman and the general manager explaining that I was extremely displeased with the "service" I received. I also BRIEFLY mentioned that I thought it was ridiculous that a new car would have a problem like this and that I would be charged $220 when it was still under warranty. Two weeks later I finally get a call from the salesman. He gets right into a defensive conversation about the fact that I was upset about the cost. Very rude. "I don't know what to tell you" again was the gist. I finally interrupted him and said the REAL PROBLEM was the horrid service, he suggested I bring it back in....Yeah right. In the end, I drove it up to Tully Mazda in Nashua...didn't take him long to figure out it was the blower....which is covered under warranty. My car is fixed at no cost and NO THANKS to Wellesley Mazda. When the GM doesn't care about how their customers are treated, it speaks volumes. GO ELSEWHERE.The kid at the service desk name was Max, it wasn't available for the selection above. I don't know the service man's name.

Bill was great all around. He took me on a test drive, explained all the features of the car. He told me all the options and was very patient with my general indecision. He was helpful, friendly, and in the end I bought a car I really like and I think it was a good deal. I left very happy with what I got. However, some other aspects of the dealership were not ideal. It took 5-10 phone calls to set up delivery. At one point someone told me that I could not pick up the car until Thursday night but had to pick it up by Friday (a very small window for someone working). When I called back to say, ok, I'll pick it up Thursday night, someone else told me it wouldn't be ready. So then I set up an appointment for Saturday. Bill then called me on Friday asking when I would come get it which means they never bothered to tell him. It was ridiculous and frustrating. Also, when I requested a quote online (before coming in), no one sent me a quote they just tried to make me an appointment. When I wrote back and said "send me a quote" they didn't send it for the right type of car. The online quote system is useless.

This dealership has the worst customer service and overall quality of service I have ever encountered. Do NOT get your car serviced there. In addition to being charging too much, you can also expect to be lied to, treated unfairly, and screwed over in any way possible. If you're lucky, they'll even cause extra damage to your vehicle and then denying doing so. I highly recommend taking your car ANYWHERE but there.

We had been to several other dealerships prior to Wellesley Mazda and were not sure what we were in for. However, Bill was fantastic. We totally did not think we were going to buy a car when we walked in and had a new Mazda parked in our driveway by the evening. Bill was very sensible, I never felt any pressure and he was extremely knowledgeable. He even entertained my son while I learned about the new car. Everything moved quickly and seamlessly. I am so glad we found Wellesley Mazda!

I'll start my saying that I did NOT end up buying a car here, but had a great experience none the less.I came in and before I even got in the door, Wayne greeted me and asked how I can help. I told him I was looking for a MazdaSpeed3 and his face lit up - was happy to show me the car they had and answer any questions I had about it. I had quite a few technical questions and he knew it all. We test drove it and he was helpful but never pushy or aggressive - only told me stuff when I asked. He clearly knew everything about the car and really loved that car.I needed to bring in my trade in which I did the next day. Again Wayne was very welcoming. We sat down, i asked him to clarify some things on the warranty and he did. The price I wanted was below what he could make and the manager Danny came out.Things got a little worse here, as Danny was long winded and a bit aggressive. Still not too bad but instantly made me less inclined to buy the car from them when he said things "I can't run a dealership like this". I explained where I was getting my numbers from and they listened and acknowledged that I wasn't saying anything unreasonable. Eventually we parted ways on $500, although they called me the day after agreeing to my offer. Unfortunately, I wanted to explore some other deals and walked away. If not for Danny's games I would've made the deal on the spot, but it is what it is. I'm not against coming here in the future. If you want a mazda and a great salesman, go here and ask for Wayne.

I went to purchase a Mazda 3 iTouring a few weeks ago. I went in initially for a test drive and went through a preliminary negotiation. I came back on Saturday and worked with a different salesperson, Joe Castoldi who was great. He was low pressure, and tried to keep the back and forth to a minimum, which I appreciated. The finance guy Sal was great as well. We ran into an issue with the registration for some reason but it was resolved and I don't consider it to be the fault of the dealership. I would recommend Wellesley Mazda over its competitors in Mass.

I have known Wellsley Mazda for many years and I go in every once in a while to check out new models. Well my credit is not too good and I need to get out of my Saturn that I owe way too much on. Well I have talk to many Salesmen at many dealerships and all of them want to talk about my credit score. Well not Mr Wayne Xides he never mentioned my credit he got me looking at vehicles I wanted and made me feel like a real person and not a credit score. I could not be happier with the service. I would recommend anyone to this dealership and especially Wayne. Me and My Fiance will be back next week.

I was in Wellesley Mazda about two weeks ago. I was looking for a new or pre-owned Mazda 3 hatchback, James was able to help me narrow my search down to a 2011 pre-owned Mazda 3 s 2.5 with under 10k miles. My son and I were recently driving past your dealer ship and happened to see a car that my son really liked. We meet one of your Sales Reps. Wellesley Mazda is a must if you're looking for a new car. I went in to browse and the service was great. I spoke with Peter, whom I found to be very approachable and easy to talk to. I entered Wellesley Mazda being my third dealership of the day and I was a little tired of the same sales speech. When John Fish approached me I felt as though we were having a conversation. I especially appreciated that he wanted to know what I wanted in a car instead of showing me what I should want or need. We owned a Mazda3 and needed a used car for our sons, so we went back to Wellesley Mazda. Bill Iannelli did a great job listening to our needs and providing us with options to choose from. Mr. Xides was most professional in providing us with the background information we needed to make an informed selection of vehicles for purchase. I recently moved from out of state. Being new to the area, I googled local dealerships in the central mass area. I've owned a Mazda 6 before and really liked the car. I was approached initially by Wayne. He offered to help and was very easy going. I got a test drive preceded by a virtual presentation. (Very cool). I really liked the car. The owner loyalty program really seems like they appreciate your business. They were very low pressure. I needed to look at my budget. I didn't buy that day. The next time I came back ready to buy. I met Paul, Wayne was off. They explained how they are salaried and get paid a sales agent fee. So, I bought the car and Dan McBride, the Sales manager came out and thanked me. Very easy purchase. I would recommend to anyone that wants a good experience and great customer service go to Wellesley Mazda.

John Fish was new and very flat. He read the Shaker Group history/philosophy cards verbatim and with no enthusiasm. Greg Flowers was friendly until he realized we had to leave to pick up our daughter. Then he became very nasty and curt. He admitted he didn't give us his best offer and asked us to stay longer ( why waste our time? Give us your best offer upfront). He was argumentative and abrasive when I asked about the offer. He was angry we were leaving and it showed. It was a great car, and everything we were looking for, but I wouldn't buy it there.

I visited Wellesley Mazda yesterday and had such a great experience that I had to share it. I have been shopping for a new vehicle for about six months. I have test driving about 10 different vehicles by about five different manufacturers. I met lots of sales people and managers during my journey and by far Joe and Dan were the most knowledgable and easy going. Joe took his time with me explaining the differences in packages and helped point me in the right direction from the start. After going on a fantastic test drive I knew that the Mazda 3 hatch with skyactiv technology was going to be my next new car. Joe invited me inside his service department, introduced me to his service crew and then we proceeded to work out some of the details on purchasing the car. I wont say what I paid, but I know it was a fair deal and most importantly Joe really maximized the time I spent at the dealership. I never felt like my time was being wasted or not appreciated. If your in the market for a new Mazda and don't want the run around then go to Wellesley Mazda and ask for Joe.

Last October, I was looking to buy a new CX-9. I started this journey by visiting my local dealer - Wellesley Mazda. Prior to visiting, I had carried out some research using various online websites (e.g., Edmunds, truecar.com, etc) so I had a pretty good idea of the ballpark price other consumers were paying for the exact same spec. I quickly became frustrated with the pricing games being played by Wellesley Mazda. It became very clear to me that unless I introduced some competition, Wellesley mazda's price wasn't going to be much lower than the MSRP (which we all know is more than what the average buyer actually pays for a cx-9).Using truecar.com, gallo Mazda (Worcester) quoted me a price that was significantly less than the best price offered by Wellesley Mazda. I believe in buying locally and gave Wellesley Mazda an opportunity to sharpen their pencil. They couldn't come close. Up to this point, I have no issues with how Wellesley Mazda acted. However, what came next really disgusted me. Darren became quite nasty (even aggressive), and started saying that gallo were lying to me and suggested that when I showed up to collect the car they would tell me that it was no longer available. I challenged him on this theory, but his only response was that as a foreign national in the US who was buying his first car, I was being taken advantage of by a sleazy car dealer in Worcester! For all you car buyers out there, I'd like to report that Gallo fully delivered on their promise. I picked up the exact car I ordered for almost 2k less than wellesley''s best price. Buying a car is a significant investment. My advice to folks is to go somewhere that will treat you with respect and that won't waste your time with silly pricing games. I'm sure that Wellesley Mazda will publicly respond to this review refuting the facts......like they have to all other negative reviews on this site. Read the other reviews folks, and make your own minds up!

Although I didn't ultimately buy a car from them, I wanted to post here what a positive experience I had at Wellesley Mazda. I worked with Wayne Xides, and he could not have been nicer or more knowledgeable about the Mazda 3. All the conversations were very relaxed, no sales pressure techniques whatsoever. I was shopping a little early in the life cycle of the 2012 Madza 3 model, before they had a manual in. After I drove the automatic, he arranged for me to test drive a manual and was very organized in his presentation of the various trim levels of the car. I ultimately did not buy it because it was not going to be available in the Grand Touring trim level with a manual (apparently corporate Mazda was confused on this point as well) but I was sorry I could not give him the sale. Highly recommended. I think all the sales people at this dealership work on salary, it definitely contributes to a nicer shopping experience. I was cracking up that there was a 'dealer cat' out front greeting customers (her name is Miata).

Came in to buy a new car off online service pricing, and had a better deal from another dealer... I asked if they would match, but they forced me to come in to talk more about it without any commitment or indication (the first bad sign). I came in, and I was handled by 3 or 4 different people, the experience was most annoying, I felt like I was constantly a "hot potatoe" people kept handing off. I even saw my original sales person working withsomeone else while I sat waiting alone at the table... I was very annoyed by having to spend 2+ hours there to accomplish little when it was clear I wanted to buy at a given price. After much haggling, during which they insulted other dealers and implied they were bending over backwards for me by breaking their own rules, I was presented with essentially no better price than their initial internet offer (i.e. they refused to match the other dealer). I knew better and walked away, annoyed at my wasted time. I quickly took my business elsewhere to Rt. 1 and was treated much better there with constant attention and respect. Saved over $2000 by taking my business elsewhere.

After some initial issues I was contacted by the dealership and offered a much better deal and apology. They where very friendly and sincere about making things right.I did wind up purchasing from them and it's been a positive experience since then.I believe in the power of social networking and user reviews !

I am a 26 year old female and first time new car buyer, so the idea of dealing with a car salesman was intimidating. However, Bill treated me with utmost respect and by the time the sale was finalized I felt like I was being treated like family. Once you walk in, they are interested in finding a car that suits your needs by going through some questions before you take anything for a test drive, however everything is done in a timely manner. Bill was very knowledgeable about all features and aspects of the vehicle and went through everything very thoroughly. He was able to answer any questions I had. That same day I had went to nearby Subaru and Honda dealerships that definitely did not provide the same personalized experience as Wellesley Mazda. I highly recommend at least stopping at Wellesly Mazda even if you don't think you want to buy a Mazda (I started the day thinking I was going to buy a subaru).

Wow! This was the best experience anyone could ever hope for when buying a new car. The sales staff was friendly, honest and not pushy at all. I originally got price quotes at 3 other Mazda Dealerships. All three of them tried to add additional charges totaling about $1200. Their low quotes were a trick to get me in their showroom. Boy did I feel taken advantage of. Wellesley Mazda asked us to come in for a hassle free test drive. We were so impressed that we bought that night. I can't believe that people still fall for those deceptive tricks. Wellesley Mazda has earned a customer for life.

I've had the best experience ever at Wellesley Mazda. Everyone from the sales manager to the sales associate bent over backwards to facilitate my purchase. They went over all the paper work and answered all my questions with great patience. The best thing for me was that they arranged new plates and registration so that I didn't have to go to the registry myself. They even scheduled my first oil change which is free and said that I could have a loaner if I needed it. I've had many automobiles and I can honestly say that this is the best dealership I've done business with.

I had an awfull expereince at Wellesley Mazda, with high pressure sales tactics and trapping customers with lies. Richie made me sign papers with pleas and his manager comes out barking that why did I sign papers. They would not give my driver's liscence copy back. Richie's sales manager was as rude as he can be, a total jerk, uneducated, without any manners and decency.I am highly disappointed with this dealership. I wonder if the oweners care at all and would talk to Richie and his manager about this incidence.

I went to Wellesley Mazda based on the reviews from this site. The dealership definitely lived up to its reputation. I worked with Richie Dinkins and he was very laid back, personable, and knowledgeable. He didn't apply any pressure to make a sale on my 1st trip to the dealer. After test driving the car (2012 Mazda5) he respected my decision that I was just doing first pass on cars and was not ready to purchase at that time. Because of his attitude, after settling on the Mazda 5 I definitely wanted to come to back to Wellesley and Richie to work on a sale. The sales process was easy and there were no surprises. Richie answered all my questions or got people who could. The model/color car I wanted was not on site, but it delivered within a week. The finance people were good too. Because I have security alerts on my credit they were able to get me the information to thaw my account so they could run the credit check. One minor gripe was that they did not tell me that I actually qualified for a lower rate than advertised. But during the finance part of the sale they were able adjust the payments quickly.I would go back again for another purchase there.

My experience with Wellesley Mazda as a whole in leasing my new car was truly a wonderful experience. Bill Ianelli was terrific! He defies what many car customers, including myself, dread when it comes to purchasing a car- a pushy, obnoxious salesperson. He was professional, knowledgable, and friendly. I never once felt like he was trying to get a sale from me. That is not to say that he was not encouraging about the car. In fact, I was deciding between the CX7 and the CX9 and he never once tried to sway me towards one over another. There are many other local Mazda dealerships around and I chose this one primarily because of Bill.Other folks I dealt with at the dealership were Mitch Harris and Alex Kamergorodsky. Both were professional, friendly, and knowledgable as well. Not only am I thrilled with the new car but knowing that the dealership is a pleasure to work with is so reassuring.I highly recommend Wellesley Mazda. And I give top marks to Bill Ianelli.

Richard Dinkins called to let me know that there was a big demand for 2010 Mazda 3 hatchbacks. He offered to show me a 2011 Mazda 3 hatchback and told me he would be able to match my present lease payment OR lower the payment. I went to Wellesley Mazda and in 2 hours I drove out in a new car (3 year lease) with a lower monthly payment. Thanks to richard, it was a great experience and very convenient. I'm glad Richard called!

My buying experience at Wellesley Mazda was the best experience I have ever had at a car dealership. I purchased my first car from Bill Iannelli who was SO supportive and helpful throughout the entire process. I was very apprehensive at first because I was use to having my parents around for guidance, but he made the experience very comfortable through his honesty and is dedication to customer service. He even asked his colleague to stay after hours so I could pick-up my new car! Wellesley Mazda embodies all of the qualities of an all-star dealership: reliability, constant customer care, and honesty. Thanks, Bill!!

After having bad experiences throughout Boston Wellesley Mazda was a breath of fresh air. Everyone at the dealership was helpful and honest. My salesperson, Bill, was attentive but not pushy in anyway. He put in the time to get me exactly what I wanted for a great price. Throughout my experience the wellesley Mazda team was concerned with my experience and my satisfaction, even weeks later. Bi would recommend them to anyone in need of a car.

I had an excellent overall experience working with Wayne Xides as my main contact at Wellesley Mazda for the purchase of my new Mazda CX9, Grand Touring. Wayne Xides helped me in everyway I could have expected but didn't try to pressure me into the purchase. He is extremely knowledgeable about the cars he sells and all the options. He did an excellent job. Wyane worked with his sales manager Darin Bonanno to get me a fair and competitive price for the car and options I wanted. I felt very comfortable working with Darin on the final price negotiations. The person who reviewed the finance agreement was also extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Alexander Kamergorodsky was great in his roll to review the features and functions of the car and the follow-on service that I can expect from Wellesley, Mazda.Overall I would rate my experience as excellent with everyone I dealt with at Welllesley Mazda.

We walked in to just test drive the new Mazda3 an hour before the place closed. We went in with only the intention of test driving and nothing else.. but that changed very fast! Roberta was the first sale person to greet us which meant we where hers. She was friendly, welcoming, funny... and above all patient! She worked with us to help find a great trade price for our 2000 Dodge Dakota as well as getting to a lease price we where comfortable with. The test drive was amazing, it was about a 15-20 min drive which is incredible because other test drives I've had are usually less than 6 mins long. During the drive she feed us information but not in a sales person type of way more of a conversation (like it should be). Roberta was such a pleasure to work with, she stayed at least 2 1/2 hour after closing to work with us. We didn't get anything that day but we are hoping to go back tomorrow to maybe walk out with a Mazda3 : ).Roberta was amazing, and I hope other get the pleasure of working with her.

My 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee was in a major accident back in May, and I'd spent alot of time trying to figure out where to shop and what I wanted to buy. I knew my price point for monthly payments and all the specs I needed/wanted in a vehicle (V6 because of gas prices, leather interior because of my dog, moon roof/sun roof, navagation and maybe a DVD). After about a month of searching for what I really wanted, I couldn't find it, then my friend had mentioned traveling to Rt. 9 too look there. As I traveled down I spotted a nice 2008 Cadillac SRX (one of the cars on my wish list)at a small dealership next to Dunkin Dounuts (I was buying a coffee). I was approched by a wonderful, friendly young man, who introduced himself as Paul Liaknickas (very hard to pronounce). Now, I HATE being hasseled into deals like most car dealers do, but this was NOTHING like that. He explained everything very well, and never hassled me into anything. I told him what I needed and wanted in a vehicle and that I was interested in the SRX. We then took the car for a test drive, and I asked for a Car Fax report to make sure there were no proir accidents. The car had EVERYTHING I wanted. I was amazed! We spoke about numbers and price, then I spoke with Darren about my credit score and finance options. I let them all know I would have to sleep on it and would be back the next day after work. I had to discuss money with my boyfriend, and make sure this was something we could work into our budget.I came back the following day to sign all the paperwork, I spoke with Paul again and he helped me every step of the way. Mitch Harris helped me too explaining every piece of paperwork I signed. I also spoke with a gentleman named Dan who helped with an issue I had with the muffler of the car. They took care of it on the spot and I drove off the lot with an amazing new car!

I shopped Wellesley Mazda last because of their great reviews and for my interest on my dream Vehicle(Mazda 3). They sat me down with a great and friendly saleswoman to consult my lease interest, she asked me few questions and their priority was to make the process as smooth and easy to drive out with the vehicle. Very friendly compared to other dealers that their only interest is to take strip you for a dime. They had me test drive and sign the papers in very little time, answered all my questions and their friendliness . Very satisfied with my car shopping experience and i definitely recommend this dealership to anyone who is interested with a beautiful Mazda.

This is the Third car I have bought from this dealership and each time my experience with the salesperson has been excellent.Eliana was very outgoing and friendly. suppose the only thing that made my overall experience "GOOD" is that I expected to get everything done in one day and instead had to return the next morning after being at the dealership nearly all day. But, of course, well worth it in the end.I look.forward to doing continued future business with wellesley Mazda.

After visiting countless sleazy dealerships (cough cough Kelly Nissan of Lynnfield)....I found Wellesley Mazda. I worked with Ritchie Dinkins Jr. He was a phenominal saleman. He was extremely friendly and helpful. He was also on my side when it came to negotiating the price and got me a $ that was right. He even drove all the way to my house (which is pretty far away) to give me my registration sticker (someone working the night I went to pick up my car did not put it on muy plate). The only thing I didn't like was that they had no spare key which was invconvenient considering the cost they charge to make it). However, Ritchie was always there to help and was never pushy which is a huge plus!!! I also worked with Mitch Harris with the financial part. He was great and explained the warranty over and over to me very patiently.I highly recommed working with Ritchie Dinkins and Mitch Harris.Working with Ritchie, you'll feel like your working with one of your friends. Now if only they could all be like that ( again cough cough Kelly Nissan)...

We just showed up on a Saturday and had the pleasure of having Richie greeting us. He was as helpful and respectful as you can hope. He showed us the cars we had in mind and explained all we need to know on the test drive. The Mazda demonstration on the iPad was really cool. The cars are impressive and the deal offered was good. But we made up our mind not to make any decision on the spot. We wanted to know the cars and get the offers then think about them at least for a night. Richie and the manager (forget the name, sorry) respected our process and didn't pressure us. I really appreciate that.We ended up buying a different car from a different dealer because we figured out that we have some different needs. But I really do like how Wellesley Mazda, especially Richie, conduct business. I will definitely go back when I need to replace my other 12-year-old car, which can be pretty soon.

We were shopping for a new car, Eliana greeted us at the door and was very helpful and friendly. She was able to help us find a car that fit our needs and let us test drive it. During the test drive she was knowledgeable and pleasant answering all of our questions and allowing us to drive the car how we wanted to. Of all the dealers we visited that day Eliana was by far the best salesperson, and created the most pleasant test driving experience.

We visited Wellesley Mazada to look at a trader in Honda Fit. The pricess were very competitively priced. Wayne, the sales employee who worked with us was very helpful and made the experience a good one for the wife and I.I would definitely recommend Wellesley Mazda to anyone looking for a new or used car.It was a bit of a drive from New Bedford, but I felt the piece of mind of getting a good car was the most important thing, especially with so many sketchy dealership's and sales associates out there! If you go there, ask for Wayne!!!

He was very professional and personable. He was very knowledgeable about the new Mazda 3. We took the car for a test drive and I loved the way the car drove. Unfortunatley, financing because I have bad credit was the issue so I did not buy the car. I would go back and see the people at Wellesley Mazda any day! It felt great to be treated as a person and not just as commission.

I just happened to come across Wellesley Mazda on the internet and found the exact car i was looking for. I called and I was greated by a friendly young gentleman by the name of Richard Dinkins. Richard set up an appointment with me right away and we met later that day. He was very helpful and always made sure I was happy with the experience at the dealership. The reason why I gave this dealership the rating I did was due to the care and professionalism I received throughout the entire experience. We worked out a great deal and they made sure everything worked for me. I will recommend this place to others in the future.

GREAT EXPERIENCE! My wife and I went to Wellesley Mazda to look at a car and when it wasn't available Bill, (very friendly and accommodating), found an alternative. We were treated very well and there were no high pressure sales tactics. They gave us a great price on the car and even though it took us 5 days to think it over the offered price didn't change. This was hands down the best dealership we went to and the way we were treated had a lot to do with us purchasing our car here. I would recommend the dealership to family and friends Mike.

When deciding to purchase a new vechicle, we tried a new approach making contact on line looking for a Mazda6. Sophia Soun contacting us immediately to assist in our quest to find a Mazda6. She provided timely updates on line and over the phone answering our many questions and making arrangements to come in to their dealership. When we arrived on Saturday we met with Gregg Flowers whom Sophie had arranged us to meet. He listen to our request of the type of vechicle we were looking for and arranged a test drive with Wayne Xides in a similar vechicle. Wayne was very imformative in explaining the various features of the vechicle and the difference between actual model and features we were looking for. The test drive allowed us to try out various features and Wayne consistly demonstrate a vast knowledge of various vechicle options and models. Upon returning to the dealership Dan McBride had already found a vechicle description which match our first choice and various payment options. Our goal to visit was to compare various dealership and service options. We made this clear to them and they were very patient working with us. Their sense of honesty and committed demonstrated to us that we did not need to look any further. We felt that they were not just selling us a vechicle but gaining our trust in providing further service over the coming year. We also were very impressed with the knowledge of all personel and Alex was very thorough in explaining all features and coverage related to our vechicle purchased. We look forward to continuing getting our vechicle serviced at this dealership.

I recently purchased a Mazda3 from Wellesley Mazda. The service and follow through that I received was excellent. I was not looking forward to buying a car as I have heard the experience can be difficult. I am not someone who looks forward to the negotiating process and had been dreading the experience. From the moment I visited Wellesley Mazda, I was treated with terrific service. Roberta and Darren were friendly and informative. I did not get pressured, nor did I feel "wheeled and dealed" as I envisioned I would. I was offered a good and fair price for my vehicle. I asked for some extras which would take a little time to be installed and was informed of the process all the way through until delivery. I was also unable to get a ride to the dealership and was immediately offered to be picked up from my place of employment, in rush hour no less, to get my new car when it was ready. I love my new car. The vehicle was washed and in perfect condition with a full tank of gas. From start to finish the experience was smooth, efficient and pleasant. I couldn't be happier with the service and would recommend Wellesley Mazda without hesitation. Thank you Roberta and Darren!

Our experience at Wellesley Mazda was pleasant and helpful. Our salesperson, Roberta was especially helpful in our decision to buy the Mazda 2, which we are quite happy with. She also expedited the process of registration and trade in of our old car. There was a friendly and helpful session with the chief salesperson as well to make sure we understood our new car. All in all, we are very happy with our Mazda experience and like our new Mazda 2 very much.

From the sales deptartment to the service department, my experience has been amazing. I came in on a Wednesday to find my new car, and after filling out paper work having a tight schedule they took care of everything and by Friday morning i drove off the lot. The showed me all the features of the 2007 CX-7 that i bought, even though it was a used car, they took made me feel as if i was spending a million dollars. Top Notch service, great warranty and even a great commission plan for the sales of the cars so i know i didn't get ripped off. i have had the car for 2 months now and when i forgot to turn my lights off and drained my battery, they were only a phone call away!

On 12/26/2010, we visited Wellesley Mazda to buy a used 2007 Honda Odyssey with 89000 miles for $13950. On test drive we liked the car, however few things were uncertain- 1. The vehicle was not thoroughly tested. Salesman did not have idea if all the functions in the car were working e.g. DVD player. 2. Due to my job situation I was not sure how much down payment I can do which was going to be decided in 3 days. 3. Dealer did not change the price, but agreed to remove minor paint scratches on rear bumper. As these things were going to take time, salesman suggested that we should put down a deposit of $500 to hold the car until month end (However, agreement did not mention 12/31/2010 specifically). We agreed and paid the amount by credit card. They prepared an agreement which was signed by both parties and all 3 conditions were mentioned in the agreement. On 12/30/2010, when I called salesman to check about the status, he told me that he was not in office for last two days and someone else has sold the car. So all they can do is return my deposit. I was shocked that they did not even call me before selling the car. I declined to accept this refund as they had breached the agreement. On this, they suggest us to come down and meet their General Manager Darren Bonanno. We explained Darren that we have an son with special needs and my job is moving away on 1/3/2011. Hence my wife urgently needed another car. Dealers mistake has caused us lost efforts and opportunity. He said he will do his best to help us. But he offered a car which was not an acceptable deal (Toyota Sienna). We told him that it was their mistake to sell the car and they should bear the loss if any. They should buy another 2007 Honda Odyssey with lesser mileage from market and sell it to us for $13950. He agreed to look in the market at that point. On 12/31 and 1/1/2011, on calling them several times, Darren did not respond. But he responded to my email that they could not find any car at that price. When I sent them Craigslist links that similar cars are available in market, he suggested we should spend extra money to buy car directly in the market. He completely declined that he ever agreed to provide us the deal at his loss and he is not obligated to meet the contract terms. He wrote he was merely helping us as he felt pity on us and we are trying to take advantage of his good heart. On 1/3/2011, he emailed me with receipt of -$500 (refund) by reversing the charge on my credit card. This entire episode has caused us emotional pain, anxiety and lost efforts. He openly dared us to go legal way if we wished and warned us not call or email them back. We felt completely helpless.

After visiting different dealerships in the Boston area (Mazda, Honda, Ford, Nissan, Toyota) in the long process of searching for my new car, and getting all kinds of experiences, some OK, some not so good, some very bad, I finally found what I wanted in terms of both product and service at Mazda Wellesley and had a very good experience throughout the purchase. I dealt primarily with Bill Iannelli and Mitch Harris, and they were very friendly and efficient, answering all my questions with honesty, at any time I felt I was being misinformed or misguided, on the contrary. The purchase went smoothly and I picked up my new car the next day, after the dealer took care of the registration and insurance paperwork.I was impressed by the attitude of the entire staff, from my first contact by phone to the time I picked up the car, everyone showed genuine interest in wanting to help me and no one acted as if they were bored or just going through the motions. I believe I got a good deal and so far I'm very happy with my new Mazda 3. I also plan to bring the car to be serviced by Mazda Wellesley to take advantage of their loyalty program. I would recommend Mazda Wellesley to anyone wanting to buy a Mazda in the Boston area.

I was in the market for a newer Mazda, as I currently owned one and was unsure if I wanted to stay with the brand. I went and visited Wellesley Mazda right around Thanksgiving and met with Roberta. Roberta was very patient with my indecisiveness and showed me both the Mazda 3 and Mazda 6 and allowed me to drive both with no hesitation.Roberta was also very helpful with answering any questions I had about the vehicles and gave her honest opinion on which one would be a better lifestyle fit for me. I initially walked away from the first deal and Roberta was pleasant with her follow up and when I came in the second round there was no haggling and I got a great price on both my trade and the new Mazda 6. I should note Roberta didn't display any of the typical shysterish sales tactics that some dealers like to pull and was the most real car salesperson I have dealt with in my 15 or so cars I have bought over my lifetime as she was asking me genuine questions about my life and was talkative.Mitch in finance was a pleasure to work with as well and wasn't pressuring to buy typical dealer add-ons. All and all I enjoyed my experience with Wellesley Mazda and recommend them for a purchase especially if your going to go through Roberta!

After purchasing our car, we were told by Roberta that I could come back the next day (Wednesday) to pick up the completed registration (transfer of plates). I called before I went to pick them up, and Roberta informed that the registration was not ready yet and was told to try back the next day (Thursday). I called again on Thursday mid-day and was told that they still did not have my registration, but that it should be done by that afternoon. I offered to come pick it up, but Roberta told me that she would prefer to mail it. My husband & I were heading out of town for the weekend, so I asked that the registration be mailed & faxed to us, to make sure that we were covered. I confirmed both our mailing address and the fax number with Roberta. Upon on return on Monday, no registration had come in the mail or via fax.I once again called the dealership, and spoke to Alex who said he would look into the matter. I later got a voicemail from Roberta saying she had mailed out the registration, but could fax it over if I provide her a fax number (a number that I had given her twice already). I called back & Roberta had left for the day. I spoke with Jeff, who said he would look into it and call me back. An hour later, Jeff called & said he could fax it over. Once again, I gave the fax number. Yet again, nothing came through. (And no, the fax machine isn't broken. other faxes are coming through.)At this point, the car is not legal to be on the road because the seven day window to get the car inspected has passed, and the inspection can not be done without the registration. I called again this morning, and again reached Alex, who said he would pass the message along once more to Roberta. I called again about 2 hours later & finally got Roberta on the phone. I explained to her my frustration & ask that she work to resolve it. At this point my frustration had built up because I had to be so proactive in fixing the process instead of Roberta fixing it for me. When I implied that I did hold her accountable for the inability to resolve the issue, Roberta got very defensive with me. She finally offered to deliver the registration to the location of where the car is parked, and then hung up on me after getting the address.UPDATE - Roberta never delivered the paperwork. My husband went in to pick it up. When it finally did come in the mail, both the registration & the postage were dated Saturday (two days after Roberta swore she got it & mailed it). HOWEVER, the customer service manager called us & apologized for Roberta's behavior & attitude.

My experience w/ Wellesley Mazda was one of the better ones I've had. I went on a Saturday morning to test drive a new Mazda 3. The dealership was pretty empty, but I noticed that it was modern and clean compared to some of the dealers I've recently been to.Plus, it wasn't big by local dealer standards i.e. less intimidating. A salesperson, Greg A. , welcomed me and asked several questions about what I was looking for . Fifteen minutes later, we took a quick test drive around the area. The test drive left me undecided about the car, but instead of facing the inevitable dealer tactics and arm twisting, Greg and his sales manager simply told me about the incentives Mazda was offering for any remaining 2010 vehicles and hoped that my experience w/ them was a good one. Well it was, and if I do decide on the car, I'm going back - no hassle buying experience. Why can't they all be this way...

Wellesley Mazda definitely gives the customer a better experience than the 'mega-dealers'. The buying process was efficient and NOT consumed with an excessively lengthy charade of back and forth offers and counter offers. I went in without an appointment to see a lightly used (2010) Mazda5 that I saw on their website. I was initially worried when Roberta started off with a survey of 'what I felt was important in a car', but when I explained where I was in the buying process-- settled on a new or used Mazda5 and wanting to buy in the next week or two-- she listened and quickly shifted to showing me the car I came to see. Within 30 minutes of coming in the door I was test-driving it. 3 hours later I had bought it and completed all the trade-in and financing paperwork. The negotiated deal was OK price-wise. I feel I probably could have gotten a somewhat lower price elsewhere if that is all I cared about, but I also feel the price was fair and that the negotiation process was respectful of my time and intelligence (in other words, they were straightforward and there was not a lot of b.s.)I feel the 'customer loyalty program' was a bit oversold. They tell you every other scheduled maintenance is free, but what they do is just insert $33 oil changes in between every expensive real scheduled maintenance. It's nice to get free oil changes, of course, but its not like your getting a $400 scheduled service for free, and that is the impression you get at first during the sales pitch. I wish they had just said 'free oil changes' or shown the little booklet fully detailing the program up front. I would have still thought the program is nice, but I wouldn't have had as high expectations and I would not have felt a little disappointed after I bought the car and saw what the program actually was. What I was VERY HAPPY with was how Roberta handled a slight hiccup when I came back to pick up the vehicle that night. The second key to it was missing, and she speculated that it got locked up in the service dept which was closed. She offered to mail it to me the next day so I didnt have to come back. As it turns out the key was really lost, so she arranged to have a replacement made, and got it done quickly. Of course this is the right thing to do, but not every dealer would. I know from a similar experience at Charles River Saab in Watertown where I bought a used Saab 9-2x two years ago. The cigarette lighter/coin tray cover door was broken when I went to take delivery of the car, and they said they would order the part and replace it free of charge. I took their word, but over the next month I called both sales and service three times to arrange it and they never came through. The just gave excuses like 'we are having trouble locating the part'. They never followed up, and I finally gave up calling them back. So you see, because I had been burned before at other car-buying experience, I was especially happy when Roberta at Wellesley Madza handled the key problem gracefully and promptly.

Great experience overall on the sale of a new CX9. Some small new car prep items like some of the tape being left on door handles and rear AC/Heat unit, window wash fluid not filled and a small pen mark on the door arm rest. However, still very happy so far with the dealership.

I was satisfied with their service. They were very friendly and easy to talk with them. Especially, my sales person is competent to explain and make me attractive to Mazda in terms of its quality and price. Most of all, he is very patient to wait for our decision to buy a car. He is a good one.

the folks at Wellesley Mazda are fantastic. Rather than pressuring my wife and I to make a purchase immediately, they respected our decision to wait and think over our options and out finances. My wife was particularly grateful given her prior experience with hard sell dealerships that made her uncomfortable. In the end, we got a great car at a great price and had a great experience. Bill Ianelli and the Sales Manager (whose name escapes me at the moment) were great to work with and I would recommend Wellesley Mazda to anyone.

We purchased a 2010 CX-9 from Wellesley Mazda. We had a great experience working with Bill and Dan on the initial sale and then again with Alex and Mitch after the sale. We are very satisfied with our purchase price. This is our second car purchased from Wellesley Mazda and we couldn't be happier. We highly recommend Bill Iannelli. Hes an upfront and honest salesman.

I came in originally interested in leasing possibly a Mazda 3 or something similar. I didn't know much about the leasing options, but was able to get some clear information on how it works. We started out by going over my price range for monthly payments and money down. I was able to test drive two vehicles no hassle. The sales person was knowledgeable about the vehicle. One my second visit I had progressed to wanting to finance a vehicle and worked with another agent who was equally helpful in providing the test drive and working through the numbers with me. I purchased a new MAZDA Speed3 for a monthly payment I could afford and a down payment within my budget. I did not feel pressured or embarrassed at any point..the transaction was very agreeable.Thank you.

Wellesley Mazda made the shopping experience for trading in a vehicle and buying a new one pleasant, not stressful and very accessible financially without exerting any pressure. People in all departments were helpful and honest. Roberta is great at reading and responding to customer needs without any fake friendliness or pushiness. I also spoke with someone in service, David, who was very helpful and honest. The owner loyalty program and lack of commission based sales made the cherry on top---after many horror stories of new car shopping I was relieved and pleased to commit my future business to wellesley mazda.

My wife and I were looking for our second car and the best deal for a fully-loaded mid-sized card. After doing the comparison between different makes and different dealerships over the labor day weekend, I had called Roberta to finish the deal on a new 2010 Mazda 6. We didn't have to push hard to find the right monthly payment options for us and Roberta seemed very dedicated to helping us reach our goals. The next week, our first car was in the shop and I wanted to know if the dealership would provide a shuttle service or if I would have to call a taxi. To my surprise, Roberta offered to personally pick me up and bring me to the dealership to sign my papers and finish the transaction. The last process was painless. Mitchell worked with me to make sure that everything finished quickly and never once pushed me to add anything more to the vehicle. My impression of the staff as a whole was that they are relaxed and at the same time willing to put 110% to their customer's needs. It's not difficult to smile and even be friendly around them.

We just bought our 2nd car from Wellesley Mazda since moving from the UK to the USA in April 2009. A Mazda 3 to add to the CX-9. We had a great experience both times. You can see that staff like to work here. This coupled with the fact that despite the purchases being 15mths apart I dealt with the same people. I really can not say enough positives about WM. The service program they have has also beenm effortless and very cost effective. If you are on the look out for a new Mazda I'd consider going here if i were you. they were not the closest to us (we live in Winchester) but they were by far the most transparent and professional of all the dealers we talked to. keep it up guys.

Roberta was friendly and informative. She didn't use any of the usual "car salesperson" lines and didn't bash the competitions products, she simply presented what Mazda had to offer (options, price, reviews and programs). Roberta also was not put off when I didn't care for the Mazda 3's ride and understood that it wasn't the car for me. She mentioned the Mazda 6 was much bigger and maybe would fit what I was looking for. She was patient and professional knowing that I was looking at other vehicles and that I had a busy week when trying to get back to the Mazda dealership to close the deal.

I bought my third Mazda from Wellesley today. The salesperson, Roberta, was excellent to deal with. She was knowledgable, professional and didn't put any pressure on me to buy a car. She helped me make an informed decision and covered my options until I was comfortable to make a decision. I highly recommend asking for Roberta and visiting Wellesley Mazda for your next car purchase!

This dealership sets the standard for customer service. Initially there was some confusion about picking up the vehicle and setting up the insurance but Fred Stoudemire was extremely helpful and went out of their way. I should have gone to them first and will definitely do all my future deals with them.If you are looking for a Mazda in the Boston area, this dealership is the one to go to. Their go to, get the job done attitude and customer service sets them heads and shoulders above the other dealerships in the area.Highly recommended and am referring all my friends and family to this dealership.

Before entering the dealership, my sense of the car buying experience (anywhere) was that it would be confrontational. I didn't want to play "the game"; I just wanted to buy a car.At Wellesley Mazda, there are no games and it is not confrontational. At all. These days, anyone with a computer has access to all the numbers. The public knows what the dealer paid for the car. And the dealers know this.We chose the car we wanted. They brought us a price, along with a trade-in value for our old car (another Mazda, purchased at this dealership). And we negotiated from there, to a price that I could live with (in terms of monthly payments) and they were satisfied with (in terms of their profit). All in all, the experience was excellent. I feel like I got a good deal, and I feel like I will be able to take the car back there for service, or whatever it might need, and be treated as a valued (repeat) customer.I highly recommend this dealership.

Going into the dealership, we had a good idea of the model/trim we wanted, we just had to drive the car and determine the color that we liked best. The internet sales department was very easy to correspond with and once we arrived, we were greated by both Jeff in Sales and Greg, the internet sales manager. It was a great day- we were not pressured at any point and they did not try to up-sell us into another trim level. The sales team receives a flat agent fee, which is revealed to the customer up front. It is itemized on the bill of sale and not built into the price of the car, so that was a bit of a surprise to us. Most every other aspect of the process was easy and seemless. We received 0% financing as advertised due to having solid credit and they did work with us on the price. But, if you expect to "steal" the car then go somewhere else- if you expect a smooth process and great service then Wellesley Mazda is for you. Go see Jeff and he'll give you all the attention you need. We love our new 2010 CX-9 Touring and can't wait to see how the AWD handles in a few months.

My experience with Wellesley Mazda was a great one and I will highly recommend this dealership to anyone I know who is looking for a great deal on a great car. I had been dealing with Bill who, over the phone, took the time to explain scenarios with me, explain his history with the company and explain the deals that he could offer me. I had been speaking to several dealers in the area and after encountering a complete lack of knowledge at one (they told me that the Mazda3 hatchback only comes in one trim!) and unbelievable rudeness at Quirk (their sales manager should be fired for his lack of work, rudeness and dismissive nature) I came into Wellesley Mazda. Bill was not there at the time and Roberta helped me; another stellar sales person! Roberta showed me around the dealership, worked WITH me to get the car that I wanted (as opposed to Jerk...errr... Quirk... who worked to get me into the car that THEY wanted) and was very patient with all of the questions that I had. Then Darren came over, looked at the offer from Quirk, and matched it. Yay!I arrived at the dealership around 7:30 and was there long after they closed- I felt terrible for keeping them there for so long but Roberta, Greg and Darren all were supportive until I walked out the door. They didn't have the car I wanted at their store but were able to get it from another one and I feel great about the whole transaction. After dealing with other dealerships, I was so heartbroken about getting a new car. After dealing with Wellesley Mazda, my spirits were high and I will come back again! As an aside, while I was walking outside the dealership looking at colors a girl and her mom walked out after just buying a new car. The girl was so excited and her experience mirrored mine completely. Keep up the good work guys!

Looking for a new car can be a stressful experience but the team at Wellesley Mazda made it easy. I scheduled a time to come in on a Saturday morning, I showed up about an hour early which was no issue at all, they helped me right away. Alex H, the salesperson, and Darren, knew that I was initially looking for the Mazda 3 Sport, which they had just ran out of a couple days earlier. Instead of immediately jumping to other models, they asked me if I still would be interested in seeing what they had. Small things like that make it clear that Wellesley isn't the average car dealership with run of the mill pitches/tactics. Alex H then showed me the Touring Edition, the next step up from the Sport, which I truly liked. Their price was about $1,500 less than the MSRP and they also gave very fair value on my trade in. My buying situation was a bit complicated as I didn't have very much as a down payment and I also owed a large amount on my trade-in. They were able to work with this and still give what I consider to be a very good deal. Alex Higgins is a great salesperson. He is honest,down-to-earth, and made my buying experience hassle-free. He is not the average "car salesman," and that is definitely commendable. Darren and Mitch kept me in the loop at all points regarding their contacts with the bank to make sure everything went well in terms of financing, etc. There was never a point where I felt brushed aside or uninformed. Another important factor is the fact that I was never left asking numerous questions. They never talked fast or overlooked certain things to expedite a sale. Everything was explained in depth, and I never felt forced or pressured at any point during the sale. Lastly, Alex Kamergorodsky explained the functionality of the vehicle in-depth and introduced me to the service team. He answered the questions I had about the Mazda and wanted to make sure that I was completely all set before leaving the dealership.Very happy customer with a Mazda 3. A+ to Wellesley Mazda. Highly recommended

I'd been to about 7 dealerships prior to Wellesley Mazda and the final stop was clearly the best. I dealt primarily with Bill and he was very willing to talk about a few different scenarios concerning financing before I committed to buy. Other places wouldn't even give me an estimate without checking credit. One thing in particular I liked was that when I called telling them I was buying, they immediately took the car off their website. Everywhere else leaves their used cars up for a week or two with the final price after negotiation to try and get you on the lot. It's nice to have the actual car you saw listed THERE, instead of driving all the way to the dealership and striking out.Oh, and the red Mazda3 I drove home is fantastic.

I found Wellesley Mazda on the internet after a disappointing experience with IRA Quirk Mazda in Quincy who changed my mind from buying a new car to a preowned. Worked with Alex Higgins who changed my car shopping experience, he was very attentive and prompt in returning all my calls and answered my questions. Very professional and unsurpassed customer service!Wellesley Mazda is fortunate to have Alex Higgins on their sales team. I will gladly return to buy another car in the future from Wellesley Mazda if Alex is there. Overall a great experience at the dealership.

This was a very easy and great experience buying my vehicle through Wellesley Mazda. Greg and Alex in Sales helped me with my selecting my new car and Mitch in Business Office was very helpful, taking the time to explain everything fully. Alexander was very helpful and courteous when going over warranty information, giving me a tour of the facility and answering any questions I had. The process was smooth and very easy and the group as a whole were very patient and were able to have me drive my new car off the lot that day. At no time was I pressured or felt uncomfortable. I would recommend this dealership and use this dealership again.

I can not express how happy I was with the customer service provided to me at Wellesley Mazda. I am so completely satisfied with my new car. My car buying experience was extremely pleasant and enjoyable. Fred was my salesman, and he was friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. Mitch, the Financial Manager, was great as well. He answered every one of my questions, and mad me feel completely at ease with the whole experience. I would refer all of my friends and family to Wellesley Mazda without hesitation!

I dealt with Dan and Raberta in sales. Both were extremely friendly, helpful and willing to satisfy my wishes. I was in looking for a new car with a trade in. I gave the details on price and car I was looking for. I was not pressured in any way. The experience was more of a learning experience about the dealer and the car I was interested in. The purchase and delivery of the car was easy and settled very quickly. I had to take care of a couple things after the delivery of the car and dealt with Dan McBride. No questions asked he fulfilled my requests and took care of the situation to the fullest. Dan's ethics, integrity and customer service out rank any I have dealt with before. He is extremely polite and is fully dedicated to satisfying the customer. I have already referred a friend directly to him within a week of purchasing my car. I will refer anyone else who is interested in a Mazda.

what an amazing experience - all great people and very easy to work with. I have already told all kinds of people about my experience and will continue to do so. Friendly, straight-forward, flexible, inviting are all adjectives that come to mind. Ally was very sweet and helped make the sale very easy and stressless, Alex was terrific in helping me understand all of my car's attributes, Al made the leasing process swift and smooth and Joe was GREAT when we first showed up and responded perfectly to our preference to just look around and not be pressured to buy, based on our previous car-buying experience.

We had been looking at different car dealers for several months before we purchased our Mazda, and the Wellesley Mazda sales team was the nicest by far. We got an honest price, and excellent service. This was the second car we have purchased from Bill, and we will probably return to Wellesley Mazda for any future car purchases.

I did not buy the car the day I was in the dealership. Both Fred and Dan said to look around to make sure we were comfortable with the car's price. We were lucky the car was still there and they both worked with us to make the purchase a very easy experience. I would highly recommended team this team.

We went very late on a Wednesday night thinking to buy a Mazda 3 i Sport at the special price quoted on their website specials.. The car was great.. Ally was wonderful from the moment I drove in to the dealership.. She was with us during the test drive.. Pretty Knowledgeable.. Then once it came to the price, we dealt with Greg who was good.. Never there was any persuasion with the price we negotiated.. Mitch in the finance department was cool and fast with the paperwork.. Even though they were supposed to be closed by 8 PM, our negotiations went till 9 PM and all of them stayed up.. Darren, finally came up to close the deal and he was very good in explaining all the points involved.. The best part with this dealership as I said before is that they never force you into anything unlike many other dealers.. The only thing they can improve upon is more details about few minor things like the options, paperwork or finance related issues because for a first time buyer many questions would come into mind.. Hope their new building gets up and running pretty fast because we hardly had any food/coffee.. These are all pretty minor stuff but my overall experience was very good....

Everyone at the dealership was truly a pleasure to work with. I came in to test drive a 2010 Mazda3, both the 4-door and the 5 door on Feb 20, 2010. The place was under construction so I felt a bit weird when I got out of my car to try to search for some sort of entrance, but the second I got out of my car, Mitch was there to greet me. I had dealt with Greg Flowers via email (where the communication was also excellent) but he was busy with other customers so Mitch took care of me. Mitch was extremely knowledgeable about both vehicles and when it came time to talk pricing he first went over a brief history of the dealership and their customer service record (they are family owned with salaried sales people who get a set commission fee no matter what the car sells for). There was absolutely no pressure and they were willing to meet a quote I had gotten from Quirk. When I informed them I was in a bit of a hurry as I planned to leave in time to test drive Jettas at a dealer nearby before making a decision they were not pushy at all. Greg Flowers had even made his way over to say hello when he was done with his other customers. I eventually came back the next weekend and decided to buy the Mazda3 sedan with the Moonroof/Bose package. They laid out all the fees including their invoice pricing showing me that I was getting the best possible deal without basically taking them to the poor house. This pricing matched the research I had done on Edmonds.com etc, and they explained everything to me up front. Next I met Al in Financing who showed me extended warranty information. This is generally a great place for dealerships to make the most profit. At no time did Al pressure me in anyway or tried to persuade me to get anything I didn't want. In fact, his main goal seemed to be to get me out of their as quickly as possible (he's a filing machine) plus he was even able to get me a deffered payment 45 days out. Finally I spoke to Alex with Customer Care. EXTREMELY nice fellow who went over the owners manual and owner loyalty program (free oil changes and every other service, etc.) answering any questions I might have had. He gave me the keys to the car and while we were talking Mitch had transferred the plates from my old car and taken off all the plastic, etc on the new one. I drove my new car off the lot that same afternoon.Definitely give these guys a shot if you're looking for a Mazda.

The sales person quoted us a price and ensured us we will be getting 0% APR financing. When we returned to close on the car, we were told the price was the cash price. When I complained I was yelled at and told my wife (who negotiated the price) misunderstood the sales people. Standing my ground, they agreed to accept the price we were quoted, but the yelling and the stress they caused on us and our two kids made this a dreadful experience. I will never shop there again.

My wife and I saw a 08 cx-9 on autotared.com, I called Wellesley Mazda and told them we would be down that night to look at it. When we got there the car wasn't there a salesman had taken it home, so they showed up a couple different cx-9's they had but we were only interested in the one we came down to look at. We told them we would be down the following night to look at the car. The next day I called and told them we'd be down around 5pm and that I wanted to make sure the car would be there, they said that it would be. When we got there the car was there, but it was filthy it had food wrappers and the the salemans clothes in it. We were upset that they knew we were coming and didn't take 5 minutes to clean out the car till we got there. That night we decided we wanted a new cx-9 instead of a used. We thought we would give Wellesley Mazda one more shot, so I called and told them what we wanted (2010 cx-9 sport with heated pwr. seats, remote starter, auto dimming rear view mirror and backup camera, black with black int.). The General Manager Darren Bonanno called me back and said that he couldn't get us the car we wanted for the price we wanted. I told him that I had talked to Quirk Mazda and they could and if he could beat there price I would buy from him, if not I would buy from them. He would call me at work and tell me there is no way they could sell me the car for the price they quoted and that if i bought from Quirk they would add things in last minute to drive the price up. His phone calls were very annoying and upsetting. I had to tell him to stop calling me. In the end we bought from Quirk Mazda and the car end up being $500 less than they originally quoted me.

Wellesley Mazda is worth the drive!! I drove from Western MA to purchase a CX9 (after much research online and not knowing anything about Wellesley Mazda except for the fact that they had the exact car I wanted)and have been highly impressed with their outstanding level of customer service. Each and every employee from the sales team to the service personnel has made a conscious effort to be attentive to my needs as the customer in a friendly, helpful, relaxed, comfortable & professional manner. What stands out and leaves a lasting impression in my mind is this great group of people at Wellesley Mazda - they are the ones that make this dealership stand out among the rest!! I would highly recommend Wellesley Mazda to anyone purchasing a car or having service performed, and look forward to dealing with them in the future.

I bought my car from Wellsley Mazda in 2007. The last 2 years has been wonderful. I bring it in for regular service and I have had a great experience every time. They get me in and out quickly and my car is washed every time. Its so easy booking my visits on line, and they are great about sending out email reminders. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. I definitely plan on buying my next car from this dealership as well.

What a wonderful--dare I say enjoyable?--experience!Last night, I took a trip out to Wellesley Mazda with my boyfriend, Anthony, who had his sights set on a new Mazda 3, 2.5. After weeks of research and planning, Tony knew exactly what he wanted -- and knew, too, that he didn't want to be haggled, hassled, etc. (you know, all that unpleasant stuff so many of us have experienced during the car-buying process ... )-- and so we set out together to try and claim the prize.IMMEDIATELY, we were greeted with a smile and a handshake by Mitch Harris, one of the dealership's wonderful Sales & Leasing Consultants. After a brief wait (as the team worked to locate the car Tony had inquired about -- the exact car he had envisioned for himself), the three of us were off on a test drive. As Tony drove and I played with all the fancy buttons and looked in all the compartments, Mitch told us about the car, the dealership, himself, and what to expect from the buying process ... all without being the least bit pushy or entering into that hard-sell territory that so many of us potential purchasers fear and loathe the most. After the drive (which was excellent!), we sat down and got into the nitty-gritty of things. Mitch listened carefully and patiently as Tony talked about his purchase plan -- what he wanted and what he didn't want -- and then Mitch filled in some gaps, asking questions along the way. NEVER ONCE was either Tony or myself pressured, mislead, pressed, or rushed into anything. In fact, Mitch -- and the rest of the Wellesley Mazda team -- was completely professional, patient, attentive, friendly, humorous, efficient and totally genuine. Ultimately (we spent about an hour and a half total at the dealership), Mitch brokered a deal -- with the help of others -- to get Tony his perfect car (and I do mean perfect -- from the color of the car, to the specs, and so forth) at the right price. And, it was all totally painless! Please trust me when I say that THIS IS THE PLACE to buy or lease your next car! I can honestly say that I have never -- either directly or indirectly -- experienced such a pleasant car buying experience, or left a dealership feeling so positive. The team at Wellesley Mazda really believes in building a customer base by making the customer happy ... this just makes all the difference. Go for it! Ask for Mitch!

When I first entered the Wellesley Mazda dealership, I was treated nicely by the General Manager Darren. And later Alex, the marketing director, joined in our conversation. Darren offered me a good deal and I was very happy with it. He is patient, friendly, and professional. He was able to respond quick to my questions and did not have me wait for a long time.I had a great time at this dealership and would definitely recommend it to my friends at my school.

A truly superb purchasing experience! My experience began on DealerRater.com where I wanted to determine who might be the best to deal with from Boston to Hartford and Providence. I knew that I wanted a Mazda3 and phoned Wellesley Mazda based on their high DealerRater ratings. Darren took my call (after bus. hours--unbeknownst to me) as he was putting in work for the Federal CARS Program. He spoke to me like an adult the entire time. I visited Wellesley Mazda the very next afternoon. Dan McBride, Fred Stoudemire, and Greg Flowers greeted me promptly and professionally. They were told of my interest in the Mazda3 and gave me as much attention--and space--as I wanted. We arrived at the vehicle price without any gamesmanship. They knew that I had already done my homework--but at the same time were very confident in their prices and their reputation for outstanding service during, and after, the sales experience. Al (Finance) even located a better loan rate for me within seconds through J.P. Morgan/Chase. The entire team was very patient and helpful with me as a Connecticut resident who would have to visit the CT DMV before returning with my plates for final drive-off. The car was prepared maticulously. Fred explained everything about the Mazda3 very well. I will make the extra drive from Connecticut to have my Mazda serviced at Wellesley Mazda even though a Connecticut Mazda dealership is only 20/25 minutes from my home.

We contacted this dealership to get a comparison price and saved many hundred's of dollars. We gave our numbers on price and trade which was accepted immediately. They had the sales and financing paperwork ready to go and it took under 45 minutes to drive in and drive away in the new car...highly recommended!! The new car prep was perfect.

I feel that both the sales and service teams over at Wellesley Mazda do an exceptional job. From handling my original lease, to the buy-out to any minor service issues that have come up they have made everything proceed seamlessly. The entire staff goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service. With my most recent visit, I had emailed one night informing the dealership about an issue with my drains. I received an immediate response back, but even better I received a phone call first thing the next morning. They let me know that everything was all set, new parts had been ordered and they would arrange a time for me to bring the car in. They have been very pro-active with anything I bring to their attention. It is for this reason I have already sent two friend and family members to them to buy cars and will continue to do so in the future.

Great Dealer! Very friendly, honest, and fair! Other dealers put much more pressure on us to get a deal done. Staff was extremely friendly, comical, and helpful! Wayne was a great salesman! Would definitely recommend and would return!

Overall I'm very happy with Wellesley Mazda. We were happy with the sales department when we purchased our car and I've been very pleased with the loyalty program and service department so far. The loaner car offered during service is unbeatable. We'll most likely purchase another vehicle from Wellesley Mazda in the future.

What a great dealership - honest salespeople, courteous service, great selection. What more can you ask for!!! I was on the lookout for a fun ride. I had been shopping around at a variety of dealerships and the experience was just terrible - high pressure, abusive - in short no fun at all. I came to Wellesly Mazda and the experience was completely different. A great sales staff that helped me pick the right car for me. A no hassles test drive. A straight-forward price and I was in my Speed 3 the next morning. I've been back for service which has (surprisingly) been an even better experience! I highly recommend this dealer.

After having bad experiences with local dealers and a bait and switch from a dealer outside of New England I emailed my lowest quote to Wellesley. They responded within an hour or so saying that they could meet the price (which was over $700 under invoice) and that they had the car I wanted coming in at the end of the week. I gave them a call and everything was quick and easy so I put down a downpayment. On Monday morning we received a call that the car was in early. Went to the dealership the next day and had probably the best car buying experience I have ever had. Customer service was top notch. I was treated like I had paid sticker even though they were meeting my under-invoice offer. They welcomed my whole family and entertained the kids while my wife and I filled out paperwork. At no point during the paperwork process did they try any trickery or tack on any expensive offers. Everyone was friendly and pleasant and it was just great. As soon as I came home I sent them an email thanking them for the great service. I will absolutely be back. After being beaten up by so many other sleazy salesmen it was really refreshing to deal with people who actually seemed happy to sell me a car. Awesome.

I had a decent experience getting my car serviced (typical maintenance plus investigation for some faulty parts). The mechanic was very professional and courteous, and called me a few times to detail what he was doing and how they were progressing. The service was completed within the day and I picked up my car with no hassle in the evening.I realize this is not description of my experience is not outstanding/unusual in any way, but I'm adding this because some of the other Mazda dealerships around Boston have gotten pretty bad service reviews so I wanted folks to know that Wellesley Mazda was a reasonable option.

I talked on the phone to this dealership. I knew what car I wanted and they quoted me a price but when I went down there they wouldn't honor the price! They had me sit there while they got the OK from the manager. But that never happened, Gregg Flower(not sure spelling)started to give me a line of bologna and when I stood to get up to leave he said"You're lucky I'm letting you leave here because another dealership wouldn't!" I was shocked at their agression! I went out to the parking lot and they boxed my car in so I couldn't get out! The saleman followed me and continued to harass me! We notified corporate headquarters but they didn't seem to care. I would never go here. I told a friend about my experience and she told me they took her father in laws car keys while he test drove a car and then wouldn't give them back until he threatened to call the police! buying

I wanted to buy an 07 3 hatch. I did this through the internet and they called me 2 days later. They had very good service and they were very upfront and honest. Unfortunately, I did not buy the car from them because I felt low balled on my trade and they did not want to meet me on price. I ended up getting my car at Liberty Mazda (horrible dealership) because they gave me a lower price and a better value on my trade. While I did get a better value for my money at Liberty, I still wish I tried to negotiate the trade a little more at Wellesley. They are, by far, a much better dealership than Liberty (they have tried to scam me by charging for warrenty service). For the extra price of Wellesley, I think they are worth it.

Researched the cars on the internet and knew where all the models and color were in MA. Through work had s-plan pricing and was setup with a certificate to use a Wellesley Mazda. They didnt have the color that my girlfriend wanted. They offered us money off invoice pricing for a different color she also liked. They guy was honest that we could get our s-plan at any dealer and we left. After driving up to 128 Mazda realized we liked the color at Wellesley better so we were back there the next day. First we got the car for about $580 off of invoice on a Mazda 3 5-door touring. So for price we could not complain a bit.We started with s-plan pricing and negotiated down from there, it was not a fight to get it. I have to give credit where credit is due. This dealers show room is not pretty. They don't have coffee and donuts waiting for you. But the sales experience was pretty good. Our sales person that we started with was Greg. He was upfront and honest. The second day we were there the sales manager dealt with us because Greg was not there. We got the dealer holdback 385 and an additional 195 for a sales fee they charge at the end taken off the s-plan price (s-plan and invoice are the same) of the car. When picking up the car we had a little wait and Greg ran down the street to D & D to get us a coke and hot chocolate. So for a sales experience I recommend. Will re-evaluate once we have service performed. Their shop and service area are old and need to be updated.Service area is not very clean, but well give them a shot.

I had shopped on-line, selected a vehicle from their inventory and called to check it's availablility. The sales guy who answered the phone made the easiest sale of his career. When I showed up at the dealer, "my" sales guy was busy with a customer and, despite other sales people and the sales manager stading around idle, I has to wait an hour for my sales person. I need to make the purchase that day because some rebates were about to expire. Otherwise I would have walked. While in the office with the finance guy, I noticed on his screen that he "forgot" to enter one of the rebates into the system. He made the correction and then rudely turned the screen away from my view. The whole experience made me swear never to set foot into that dealer again.
