The people here truly care about their customers and strive to keep them happy and loyal. Scott and Jake took very good care of us and did not want us leaving until we were happy and satisfied. They both took the time to ensure everyone was satisfied. They were not pushy like most other dealers are. These guys are definitely professional and I would absolutely recommend coming in to see Scott for your next purchase or trade in!

Always a Great experience. The sales manager, Josh, is especially amazing. He can tell/show you the details about any/every car you get in or ask about. He's extremely personable and has never made us feel pressured. No "What do I need to do, to get you to buy a car today?". Rather, he worked with us for several days, until we found what we were looking for ( I have to try them ALL before making a decision). We bought a truck from him 3 yrs ago and knew we'd never need to look anywhere else either time. He always goes the extra ' Amazing personality. A great people person!!! Thanks Josh.

I worked with Kim and Josh. Both of them were extremely helpful and courteous. I truly love working with people that have your interest at heart. They will bend over backwards to help you out as much as they can. If I was staying local and I needed to buy another vehicle, I would definitely go to those two to make it happen. They're awesome!

From the time we walked into the dealership to look at the 2021 Tahoe to the time we walked out with the keys to take it home was a great experience. Both Chase and Eric answered our questions with complete knowledge and had all of our pricing and paperwork done quickly so we were not there all evening. When we went in to sign the papers with the finance department (I apologize I forgot his name) he covered everything we were signing but didn't keep us there long so we could take our new car home. Young Automotive is the only dealerships that we will purchase our vehicles from. We have been going to them for 25 years now and will always continue to in the future.

I had a great experience at Young Chevrolet. I was helped by Blake, Candice, and Clayton. All were very helpful and made sure I was taken care of. I’ve been to Young Chevrolet before, and it’s always been a pleasant experience. It’s nice to have positive interactions, specially during this pandemic that we have going on at this time. I would definitely recommend this auto shop for its service and customer service.

Sadly purchased a truck for my wife from this place. It was a lifted 2015 silverado 1500 ltz. They did the lift kit themselves in their shop. (Which by the way has not even the first clue about 4 wheel drive.) The truck had 17 miles on it, my wife drove to the dealership to get a massive scratch removed. As soon as she pulled into the dealership, the front end of her 50k truck fell. When they took the truck into the shop, at first the "technician" and service manager tried telling me it was normal for that brand of lift kit to fall. Later the dealership admitted they hadn't torqued the bolts to the control arms or steering knuckles. So they shifted and seared off. Quality work right? The young group is terrible especially the chev store.

I visited Young Chevrolet to check out and test drive cars in person. I am in the car buying market and looking to purchase in the near future. I have researched a lot online, and have been dreading visiting dealerships because I did not want to be bombarded with high pressure sales tactics. I was pleasantly surprised at how low-pressure my visit was, and how helpful my sales rep was with showing me different models and allowing me to test drive several, while knowing I would not be buying that day. This experience was very helpful in my quest of finding the "right car" for me. I will definitely look to purchase from Young Chevrolet, when that right car comes along.

My sale's man was Jake Hall, and the whole buying process prob lasted 2 1/2 weeks.I have been shopping around for a 7+ vehicle from different dealers including Young Chevy in Layton, finally decided the Chevy Traverse would do and in the end, the offer price was won by Young Chevy.Jake kept the communication going through the whole process and overall was trying to be helpful.I think I had a descend buying experience there, if it wasn't for the finance manager who was pushy into financing from them, instead from my own bank. It didn't matter to me cause in the end I got the rate I had with my own bank.

What an awesome experience! My husband and I are always pretty hesitant taking a step into a dealership when we are in the market for a new car, but this past experience completely changed our view. We got set up with the car we were wanting for such a great price, all within one day! Donavan, our salesman, was so knowledgeable and friendly. I hate feeling pressure to purchase, and not once did we feel like he was being pushy or demanding. Overall we are so happy with our new car and the whole experience! We will surely be back to Young Chevrolet of Layton for our future purchases!

My parents went through Young Cheverolet and highly recommended I go there too, and I'm so glad I did. Tyler White was so nice to work with. I recently broke down while on a trip to Utah from Idaho Falls. My truck was towed to Young Chevrolet for warranty repairs. My service advisor, Mitch, was a great help. When the necessary parts were not available until the next day, Mitch arranged for a loaner car so that I could get home and not have to spend the night in a motel. Mitch was very professional and went out of his way to ease what could have been a much more frustrating experience. Thanks to the folks at Young Chevrolet for a job well done.

I purchased a truck from the Young Group and it came with 2 years free maintenance so I came from Idaho to have my oil changed and Young Chevrolet got it in quickly while traveling. They stand behind their work while being precessional and courteous. Highly recommend.

As of now, I do not recommend Young Chevrolet out of Layton, UT. This is why: Nearly 3 weeks ago I purchased a 2011 Dodge Avenger. I had been searching for one for quite some time now. I was so happy. I had been working hard to get to this point so I could purchase a newer car for my family. Yeeeee!!After driving my car home, I try and connect my phone using the blue tooth capabilities however, it ended up not being installed. The salesman, Chase, had made a mistake. It was an honest mistake thus I wasn't upset about it. I brought this to their attention and after a few discussions, Young Chevrolet said they would have the blue tooth chip installed, at no cost to me of course. They said I should have my car within 3 days because they had to wait for the part to ship. I then had set up an appointment for my car to be tinted while it was with them (at my cost of course) so I could have it returned with the chip installed and the window tint already completed. I was supposed to pick up my car not last Friday, but the Friday prior to that. I am the one that had to call at about 5:00 pm to let them know I'd arrive by 7:00 pm. This is when Chase had informed me that my rear window would not roll down therefore they could not finish tinting the windows. Why did they not proactively reach out to me and notify me of this? why didn't they let me know they broke the regulator? He said they were going to have to order the part and I would have to wait another few days before they could install it. Agggghhhhh, ok fine. I continued to be patient. Then, I had to call again last week to see if they have an eta on my car (bluetooth chip, regulator, and window tint). I had to call 3 times last week and then finally, Chase returned my call on Thursday. Behold, I am unable to pick my car up by Friday, yet again. He tells me sometime next week "again."I'm still as polite as can be however, my patience is now wearing thin on me. I digest this experience over the weekend. I get more and more frustrated that I have purchased my car over 2 weeks ago and have driven it 3 times. Home, to work, and then back to the dealership two days later. That's it! Now my fun and exciting experience is beginning to become a sour taste in my mouth. I called Young Chevrolet yesterday and ask to speak with the general manager. I talked to Kory and he was great at listening to my concerns and frankly let me just vent. Afterwards, he told me he would go speak with his finance manager, Roger, and then return my call in 10 to 15 minutes. I did not receive a return call from him. Instead, they had Chase call me back. Chase proceeds to tell me that my car will not be completed for another 2-3 days. I told him that my patience has worn thin and that I haven't even been offered anything for the inconvenience up to this point. He responded with "We are already doing you a favor for installing the blue tooth chip and regulator..." Hold on, wait a minute!! You're doing me a favor??? This was my response: "No good sir, you are not doing me a favor. You are resolving the issues you have caused with my car. You were supposed to be resolving the mistake you made by installing the blue tooth chip making my car blue tooth compatible because when I asked you if it was, you good sir advised it was. Furthermore, my regulator broke while my car was in your possession getting the windows tinted. Why on earth would I be responsible for that? I am completely confused as to how you would honestly believe you are doing me a favor??? I will have gone three weeks without my new car because your team dropped the ball. I am the one that has been inconvenienced, not you good sir." He then responded stating he will have a general manager return my call. After disconnecting with Chase, I called back and asked for the general manager to return my call the next day after 5:00 pm MST. It is now "the next day" and it's 5:30 pm. I have yet to receive a call from the general manager of the store.

My husband and I are expecting twins in a few months. With a 17yo gangly foster son, we realized we needed a van. We've been looking for a while, and with a ridiculously tiny budget (which was still about 2-3 times that for our past cars) we've been having a rough time. We found a possibility at Young Chevrolet in Layton on KSL and made the trip down from Smithfield. My husband first spoke to Adam Strong, who was able to confirm they had it still. When we got there (on a Saturday afternoon), they were swamped. We were greeted by Mark (Marcus) Christiansen, who located Adam for us. Adam took us to look, but had several customers already, so handed us off to Mark. After a test drive and some thinking and looking around a little more, we decided to get it. Mark had given us his card, so we called and said "Sold!" We've never purchased from a dealer before, so it was new to us--and we had totally forgotten about things like dealer fees! Mark was awesome. He never made us feel bad for having so little, and went back to his manager several times to get us a deal we could manage. He DID, which was unexpected and very much appreciated! This is a huge weight off our shoulders. Both Mark and Adam were great to us, and I would definitely recommend either of them to help you find your car!! A side note too: we went to Young Kia in Ogden a few weeks ago and they were really great as well, though they didn't have anything we liked available at the time. I wish I had their names! Excellent in all aspects from the time I walked in until the time I walked out. Brand new to the area and needing a truck each and everyone of these guys took care of me in everyway. There were several roadblocks on the way ex...not the best credit, not a resident of the state, and a strict budget. These guys helped me through all those problems and went way above and beyond. I've bought quite a few cars and this experience was the easiest and best I've ever had. All these guys made a lasting impression and I highly recommend this place. Ask for Casper and I guarantee he will more than take care of you. Other thoughts, this place had a great selection of vehicles and are at a very good location. They also offer plenty of perks buying through them. Finally, these places had the most competitive prices across the board. This might not be the first place you look for a vehicle, but it most likely will be your last.

We bought a beautiful used Equinox from Young Chevrolet in Layton. There was some hiccups along the way with customer service to delivery delay of vehicle. But with much Thanks to GM Russ Cooper and sales man Caleb all the issues were taken care of. They went above add be beyond to get us taken care of!!! I'm so grateful for all there time and effort. I just love my Equinox. It's used but very new to me and we'll worth the wait. We will definitely be returning to Young Chevrolet in the future for the fact they took great care of us in the end!

You guys are the best; I took my 2011 Camaro in for what seem like a belt squeal on Dec 19th. I personally want to thank Mike Kessler for making me feel like a value customer; very professional and courteous. It turned out to be the crankshaft balancer loose. These guys were persistent to find the problem even though the holidays was coming up. I picked up my car on the 26th of Dec. My car looks and feel like a brand new car; they wash and detail my car. I will never forget this, I'll tell all my friends and family about Young Chevrolet....Thanks again!

Do not purchase from young chevrolet. I would recommend going to Murdock Chevrolet as an alternative. Their service department damaged my paint on my car about six months ago. They refused to acknowledge their mistake. After much argument their paint shop, whom is the only honest reputable portion of their staff, fixed the damage the service department did (I still have a shorter life expectancy on other parts of my car due to incompetent employees). Meanwhile I recently received a quote for a new vehicle where their sales department quoted me six grand higher than all the other competition and did not seem to care if I purchased from them or not. Maybe they didn't take me serious, but they are extremely rude and do not care about your business or your vehicle. (I purchased a vehicle from Murdock Chevrolet instead). Good luck in your endeavors Young Chevrolet. Holding back the cuss words, You guys are horrible.

I've bought 7 vehicles from young chev with nothing but great things to say about them, until now. I went in looking at a 2011 avenger i wanted with my 2012 avenger for trade. they told me i had to much negative on my car to make the deal, which i understood. so i brought in my 2008 caliber for trade. owing only 9,000 on it they gave me 11,900 for it on trade, so buying the 2011 avenger for around 15,000 should be no problem. that meant to me i only have to finance about 13,000. nope they told me it wouldn't work. They always treated me good before so i didn't question them. (my fault there). they finally talked me into a 2014 camaro for 29,000. How did i qualify for this? it was a nice car (fast and fun) a week or so i really didn't like the camaro due to interior issues, and i was still wondering why i didn't qualify for the 2011 avenger. i talked to the management and they said they take care of me. (again my fault for signing and trusting). its been 2 and a half weeks with nothing but no call backs or if they call they never return them or have done anything to make things right. i been willing to eat some equity but they want me to eat 10,000 for driving the car off the lot. i believe it was a bait and switch, (still my fault again, but trusting them was a mistake). dealing with them for so long i thought we built a relationship. Guessed wrong there. Learn from my mistakes and and take a lawyer with you.

I went in and saw Chris Monson, I had a pretty tight budget, but Chris and the other guys were very helpful in locating the right car for me. Chris gave me all the information I asked for and made sure all the numbers made sense to me before I jumped into anything. I spent a few days looking at other dealerships for a deal that was right for me, but none of them were as accommodating and helpful as Chris was, he found me the perfect Sonic with all the features (and color!) that I desired and still managed to fit my extremely tight budget. I would highly suggest everyone to go in and talk to Chris Monson, he will do everything he can to find the right car for you, that dude rocks!

I recently purchased a Hyundai from Larkin at youngs. He was awesome. We were interested in a newer Hyundai so Larkin showed us what he had. Unfortunately nothing at the time worked because of the budget we had set. However, he was persistent. He calls us as soon as newer Hyundai accent came it. We drove down to the dealership, drove the car, fell in love with it and decided to take it home. Larkin introduced us to some great financing options. We had the perfect car buying experience at youngs and it was all thanks to Larkin. Highly recommended!

Bought a car and truck from the same dealership , priced right and agreed on the value of my trade in as being fair and appropriate. Stuart treated me as a professional and I respect him. Small problem at closing but Mike Pappadakis , the manager, was able to straighten it all out to everyone's satisfaction. Both the truck and the car are every bit as good as Stuart said they are. Already took it fishing, only disappointing thing is that it is not as big as my old truck and I have to learn to scale down, but I love the gas mileage . Deal with Stuart , he is a straight up guy.

I bought a truck from another dealerships and within just a few days I realized it was not the truck for me, they would not help me at all. I went to Young chevy and the help I got was amazing! I got out of the truck that I hated and am now driving a beautiful 2014 chevy truck and love it! I wouldn't hesitate to go back to them! Jake was great and the manager a Mike was as personable as they come! I will buy a lot more cars from these guys!

I had a wonderful experience with Young Chevrolet. The second I stepped out of my vehicle they greeted me. I dont have the best credit in the world but needed something quickly. They went above and beyond to get me into a vehicle. They kept in touch with me in the quoted time they gave me for call backs. They were very nice and understanding and easy to work with. They definitely helped me feel good and safe with the car I purchased and I will always go back to them.

I would highly recommend Terrell. He was very friendly, answered all our questions and was a lot of fun to work with. Steve the floor manager, however, was not as pleasant to deal with. When talking about concerns we had regarding the vehicle we were looking at, we were talked down to and treated like we didn't know what we were talking about and seemed to discount our concerns with double talk. We have experienced this before as women looking for a vehicle and as in those cases in the past, we walked away and would not buy from this location.

I went to young Chevy in Layton to trade my car in after it had broke down for the 3rd time in 4 months I was extremely irritated with the vehicle and having to deal with multiple warranty and repair issues. But then I was told to go to the dealership and ask for Chris Monson, and I am most definitely happy that I did. Chris took hours upon hours doing nothing but searching and helping me find a car that not only fit my needs, but met my budget as well. I now drive a brand new 2013 Chevy Sonic, and I am extremely happy with my new vehicle and the excellent customer service Chris had provided to me. I would recommend any person that is car shopping go to Chris.

Well here we go again...more repairs on the used Suzuki Vitari I bought in November. I have literally been in that shop almost every other month getting major work done. We will see how this one goes. Last one was taken care of by them and most of the others by warranty. Still a pain to have your car gone every other month and frustrating I was given a car that was clearly not checked out before sold.

My wife and I have been in the market for a GMC Acadia or something similar for a couple of months. We know what options we like and which ones that we need. I called and set up an appointment with Dax in hopes of expediting our experience. We arrived on time for our scheduled appointment and Dax wasn't quite ready for us. However within a few minutes he arrived with a Buick Enclave for us to test drive. He took the time to go and find a vehicle that had everything I told him I wanted. It wasn't the right vehicle for us but the effort was appreciated. He didn't give up that easy though, without being pushy he showed us several other vehicles on the lot. And the one that we really liked didn't have a sunroof. The sunroof is a must for my wife. JD steeped in and offered to put one in it for us. They also replaced a few items that I pointed out. And had a "performance tint" installed on the windows for us. Tyson over in finance was great to work with. He offered us some "add-ons" with out pressuring us and explained in detail what was covered and what wasn't. He even offered to help us dispute a couple of things on our CR. To be honest I was very hesitant to even go to Young and look because of past experiences, BUT, now I can't wait to buy another vehicle from my buddies over at Young.

This car dealership has the most unprofessional management. I was extremely bothered by the way the managers treat the salesmen. Certain "managers" would be nice in front of me and my girlfriend, and then I could hear them disrespecting and talking down on the salesman while I was waiting. I even heard cussing and inappropriate language from one specific manager, who I will not name. I have had friends who know people who have been employed their and they all say how rude and hard it is to work with the management. They know several people who have been forced to quit because of the disrespect. While buying my car, everything was so vague and I didn't feel like they were upfront or honest. Sure, I was satisfied with my car in the end, but next time I will go buy where the employees are valued. Young Chevrolet is not the place to buy a car if you want honesty and respect.

I was looking for a Red or Black Chevy 1500 for over a month. Young Chevy had a red 1500 that was located in Morgan, UT. I called the Layton Young Chevrolet and spoke to Chris Monson. He told me he would go pick that truck up from that other location and bring it down to Layton. That saved me a hour and a half drive to Morgan. The main reason i bought from Chris was he was very professional and didnt pressure us at all. My wife and i have been to other dealerships and we walk out because of being pressured. Best dealership!!, Best salesman!!, Best Truck!!, oh and the manager there was also very nice. Would really recommend this dealership ask for salesman Chris Monson.

I hate buying cars. I always feel like I'm getting taken advantage of. I'm sure I'm not the only one out there that feels this way. If you are buying a car, I would definitely recommend visiting Young Chevy. I never felt pressured or taken advantage of. I was extremely pleased with the service and overall experience I received shopping there.

My experience at Young Chevrolet buying a new car, was the most positive experience. Chris Monson and Tyson Walker were friendly,and very helpful and kept me at ease during the whole process. Chris Monson was my salesman, he kept me updated on what was happening during the whole process,and Tyson Walker was my Finance guy and he is very knowledgable at what he does and makes that process go by very smoothly. I'd love to say something nice, but the same things that were repaired this week were the same things repaired at the shop 1 yr ago...so obviously something isn't getting fixed. -Major repairs and leaks that total 3k should be fixed right the first time. How did it get out on the lot with such a big leak? With the engine cleaned, the leak was masked. Also, the problem I came in for, the hissing AC, was not addressed-I was told it was a normal noise. If I wanted to drive around with a hissing respirator, I would buy one and run it while I drive. I'm told the noise is normal, but it continues to hiss after I shut off the car and I have to keep the radio up to drown out the noise. I'm pretty sure that's not normal. It doesn't matter now. I know the service center is unable to perform the repairs properly, so I have replaced the car. I have a different car, with an extended warranty, but I am questioning the value if I have to come to this service center for the repairs. So, in essence, my vehicle was "ready" when they said it was, but it wasn't READY. I was not satisfied with the service and I believe I should stick with my regular mechanic that has proven his intelligence and integrity after years of quality service. UPDATE: (that was on the repair of the car I bought about 2 months ago) I though we were getting a good deal, staff was friendly, but I'd take a great car from an annoying salesman over what I got here any day! My spouse was just back from a year deployment and they were going to treat us "well". What a laugh! We were sold the worst car available (see repairs above-started one week after we purchased it). We tried to contact them, but to no avail! Calls, messages, emails, website contact form. Then I got sick, hospital/surgery sick. After I was released and had a week to recover a small amount, we went back to trying to contact them. That's when the repairs FINALLY were "adressed". We decided the car wasn't worth the risk and we thought we'd give them another chance. BIG MISTAKE. We took a massive loss. They didn't keep their end of the bargain made over the phone (bed-ridden). We ended up with another car from them, but they were going to "fix" the brake problem before we took it. We picked it up and the problem was "fixed" for about 24 hrs. The problem is back. Can't get a response. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID! BUY YOUR CAR SOMEWHERE ELSE. HAVE YOUR CAR SERVICED SOMEWHERE ELSE! Please find another dealer, for your own safety and peace of mind! They messed a soldier and a sick spouse, they'll mess with you too!

I purchased my new Chevy Sonic 2013 mid February, and because I loved the dealership and Mike Rex the Salesman, I brought my mom in last week and she also purchased a Chevy Sonic 2013. Both experiences were excellent. Mike was available to us and always returned requested phone calls. Everything went smoothly and we are very happy with Young Chevrolet and Mike Rex. These are great. I saw a good deal on a 2005 Ford F-250 with 60,000 miles and went to inquire. At the end of the deal they marked it down an additional 1,500 giving it to me for 4600 under book value. They were patient and expressed concern for me during the entire sales process.Thanks to the finance manager for the creative financing and the staff for their effort.

While looking for a new car I thought that I would check out the young chev. store (Layton) from the minute I walked in I was impressed! the first person i meet the lady at the desk was so nice very welcoming. I then was paired up with my sells man "brad taylor" I could tell from the start he was in it for me and totally wanted me to be happy with what ever I needed or wanted. I ended up with the new 2013 Chevy sonic. (that I LOVE) I could tell that the store was closing but Brad took the time too sit in my new car and go over everything tell I felt comfortable. I had a great experience over all and really would give it a 5 Star rating!

They were honest, kept all their promises on what they said they were going to do for us, got us the best deal possible, and didn't try to push us into som ething that we couldn't afford/didn't want. They listened to where we wanted our payments to be, what car we wanted, and made it work. Last January Youngs Collision Center change two panels (back door and the panel between the door and the rear bumper) on my one year old Subaru WRX. The shop was recommended by State Farm. Ten months after I am very satisfied with the work done. Courteous service, professional, delivered on time, no hassles whatsoever.

It took over 3 months and 2 temporary tags to finally get the title work right on my vehicle.Ther was writing all over the front of the title.Mileage was crossed out and corrected.What a joke!But it wasn't really funny.

I have always been treated fairly and with great respect. The issue with my new suburban was very difficult to solve, but they stuck with it until complete solution. And, they provided a rental car without cost while we waited for repairs.
