However, as that car would not be ready until late 1989, the G-Series was given one final update in 1984. Called the Carrera 3.2, the new cars enlarged engine also received updated fuel injection and ignition controllers to raise output to 207hp in US-specification (in comparison to 180hp for the US-spec SC).
