I just found out that "captain's seats" in minivans only technically describe the middle row's individual style seats, not the driver's seat; I'm guessing that those are "general" drivers' seats. Whatever they're called, I feel very much in charge of this vehicle behind the wheel. Smooth, responsive, and noticeably easy to navigate the array of features and buttons in the infotainment system, this car drives great with plenty of features. The visibility, power, and suspension don't hide the fact that this is still very much a minivan, but for a minivan it rides like a hot knife in butter. Not to mention the sheer comfort and luxury of the seats makes the downside of being seen driving a minivan pretty comfortable. It's not a trade off that everyone wants to make, comfort and space for the social reality of owning a minivan, but if you need to haul people or cargo around regularly it's still a great option. It's a pretty standard minivan. V6 engine (28 highway/18 city mpg), 2 previous owners, plenty of records on the CarFax, and very little exterior or interior wear and tear or damage. The back row stows at the press (and hold) of a button so it's configurable for either cargo or passengers without much stress, and it's got a fresh smog certificate and bill of health from our mechanic.
