Salesman Dan Berkeley gave us a good car-buying experience. He made us feel that he wanted to help us find the best newer car at the best price, and even helped us offer less than we were prepared to offer. Who does that? He has gone above and beyond to answer questions and arrange service at no cost to us. A new kind of car salesman, to be sure. We would go back to this dealership because of him. The only negative was the finance guy, who made us wait for what seemed like hours even when we had an appointment, and gave us a lengthy hard-sell on the extended warranty, even though we told him up front that we didn't want it. Very annoying!

I went into the Pete Harkness dealership looking for a specific used vehicle that I wanted additional warranty coverage with, and I also had a price max that I was working with. Dan did an excellent job in helping me find my vehicle. He found the type of car that I wanted that met my price and I was able to purchase the additional warranty that I wanted. The car only had one key and remote and Dan made sure that before I took the car home that I had another key and remote which I appreciated. The car is phenomenal and I have had no problems with it. I am very happy that I bought that vehicle. Down the road when it comes time that I have to buy another vehicle I will certainly be paying Dan a visit and I would recommend Dan to anyone out there who is looking for a vehicle.

I bought a car from Pete Harkness Ford in 2013. The buying process was great. At this time, I purchased an extended warranty . However, in October of 2014, I trade my Ford in for a Chevy at another dealership. I went to cancel my warranty from Pete Harkness and it took over 3 months for them to even process it correctly. They had lost a paper and "were looking for it" instead of requesting another copy from me. When you cancel your warranty, you receive a check for the amount left on your loan that you didn't use. I could've used that right away instead of waiting months. The finance guy was very rude about the situation. He kept insulting the fact that I bought a new car and trade in my Fords. It was unnecessary and he should've just done his job. He shouldve taken a customer service class. Needless to say, I will never buy a new car from this dealership again. The customer should never feel like they are a hassel. It's your job, do it right.
