The 2008 Pace car marked the 30 year anniversary since the first Corvette was chosen as a pace car in 1978. There were only 500 of these produced, but only 60 of them were used in Indianapolis as Festival cars, this car is #22 of the 60. When the first 60 arrived at the track in April, a CHEVROLET windshield banner was installed and all of the cars were assigned a number from 1-60. The state of Indiana also issued a special temp plate for each of these cars with the numbers 1-60.Of the 500 made, it was almost a 50/50 split between coupes and convertibles. They came standard with the Z51 performance package and dual mode exhaust. The New LS3 motors also got the HP up to a respectable 436 making the cars perform very well!This particular car is a one owner with low miles and it runs and drives perfectly.As always, a clean Carfax is on file, so buy with confidence!"Life is too short to drive boring cars"
