Tom B. helped me buy my first Tacoma! It was a great experience, and I was able to get the vehicle I wanted. Saturday was very busy but Tom stuck with me until the end. Bengy was my finance guy and he worked with me for the down payment. I was able to do a partial payment on my credit card to rack up some points. Blair helped set up my appointment for the clear mask and tint and helped work with my schedule since I'm from south Denver. All three were great and helped answer all my questions. They all helped make my first car buying experience quick and easy!

My husband and I have been talking about trading in one of our vehicles for the last few months. Occasionally, we would go to car lots on a Sunday when no one was working and we could just have a look around. Last weekend we went to ten different lots. We noticed a few trucks that had peaked our interest and finally made the decision to speak to someone about them. On Monday our first stop was the Boulder GMC dealer next door to the Toyota dealership. A 2008 F-250 King Ranch with very low miles definitely caught our attention. After test driving it and looking up some reviews we realized that particular make and model had serious problems so instead we thanked our salesperson and made one last stop at the Toyota dealership. Here too one truck had gathered our interest, a 2011 Tundra with slightly high miles but it appeared in decent condition. We test drove it. Loved it. Found out there was a similar truck a few years older and slightly cheaper but it was being detailed. We waited until the next day to look at it. Then after seeing and test driving both decided the 2011 that cost more was worth every minute of the 5.5 hours we spent talking it over. The team at the Boulder location worked tooth and nail for us to fit this vehicle into our budget. Justin Sanders made countless trips to the sales managers' desk as we tossed numbers and requests back and forth. Finally it came down to a condition and they absolutely met it. Yes, people that work at dealerships are there to make money but every person we dealt with at Boulder Toyota had a decent personality. They talked to us as equals even though we asked for quite a deal on our trade in. We had actually met one of the guys, Kenny before when he had sold us our other vehicle at Mountain States Toyota. My husband recognized him. Again he worked diligently and effectively with us. Having been there 4.5 hours and then realizing we still had to go to the finance department to sign all the papers was exhausting. But there we met with Dan Schwennesen who spoke so respectfully and professionally towards us we could not believe how young he was. He had all of our paperwork ready to go and spoke easily with us. When I asked questions he seemed to have all of the answers. He talked and laughed with us despite the fact that the store was technically closed. Through this experience I feel as if we did not deal with "salespeople" or a "car dealership" but rather with people that we now know personally. Friendly is such a casual word but we shared stories about each other and our experiences. Justin used to live in Minnesota and has been married for nearly 11 years with a daughter in high school. The amount of cars he has owned and places he has lived/visited is something to be proud of. Dan on the other hand grew up on a farm in Texas. After he graduates in the spring he hopes to go to law school at George Washington University. Sure these are random facts but the fact that we took the time to get to know each other built the relationship and ultimately assisted in our decision to purchase our vehicle through Boulder Toyota.I encourage everyone looking for a quality vehicle and service to shop here at Larry H Miller Boulder Toyota.

Enjoyed working with Vandy. He was very upfront, made the process go smoothly and let me know where we were along the way. I wet in to just explore the new Prius and the deal that I was offered was so good that I drove away with a new car. This is completely because of Vandy upfront and easy approach. Only complaint is the length of time it took to complete the process - particularly because there was no financing involved. Painful.

I worked with Vandy at Boulder Toyota and was referred to him from a friend. I respect they need to make money and I want to walk out with a fair scenario. I let Vandy know that and he operates the same way. Haggling over minor amounts is silly, and see it all the time. Asked for a fair offering, and I got it. The whole process was completed easily and quick along with the finance manager looking at options to maximize rebates and financing.

From the moment I walked in I felt taken care of. Their offices were organized, their staff was friendly and most of all I truly believed they cared about getting me into the right car for me. At no point did I feel like another sale. Their salesman took time on short notice to get me a test drive, showed me the intricate details of the car, what makes it different and why they felt it's a great car. He went out of his way to do his best for me. 5 stars, would recommend to anyone looking for new or used.

I bought a car from boulder toyota in April 2016. It was the worse experience I have ever had buying a vehicle. I thought my financing was taken care of, but weeks later found out that there was missing paper work that was never signed that I was never aware of. This is turned caused a late payment with my trade in because they never paid off my trade!! The whole experience was very disappointing. I would not recommend buying a car from this dealership.

Initial contact was via email (Tom Berry) regarding the lease of a Prius Four using the Costco Auto Program. I received prompt replies answering all questions and cost information.Our initial on site visit was excellent from a customer service perspective. Tom Berry was busy so we worked with Greg Eastburn. This experience was equally excellent including reaching agreement on a vehicle.We returned the next business day to finalize the transaction. Tom handled every detail promptly. Likewise the walk through of the financial documents (with Richard) was also good receiving answers to all questions.My wife and I would recommend Toyota Boulder the to anyone in need of a vehicle. We would rank our purchase experience with Toyota Boulder at or very near the best ever for an automobile purchase (we're senior citizens).

I recently had my vehicle in for a repair covered by warranty. I got my car back with grease stains and a broken bumper. I can sum up the service workers in two word: unprofessional primates. I spent 20 minutes being ignored before I got to talk to anyone when I first came in and I received no updates whatsoever once the use of the warranty was approved. Find another repair shop, it's just not worth it!

I brought my Tacoma in for its 5,000 mile service and mentioned a few additional service issues to Melanie. She said If they could take care of them they would. After waiting an hour she called me up and said that they took care of the additional service issues. She then asked me to sign the service agreement which I started reading over to confirm that they took care of the issues I mentioned. At this point is where the whole interaction turned negative. I asked for a print out from the computer of the Transmission fluid levels that I asked me to check. She dismissed what I said and told me to just "sign the papers"... I asked to speak to a manager and she WOULDN'T get a manager on the phone for me. She kept stating that they checked the fluid levels but she couldn't prove that they did and she was frustrated when I asked for confirmation on my Transmission fluid levels. She then called me rude. Her attitude and the fact that she lied directly to my face is the reason behind this negative review

After several back and forth emails and conversations with Internet sales, we had agreed on a price. Scheduled time to come it. The internet sales rep wasn't available so he put us with someone else and provided all of our correspondence. The person we met with in person also printed out the price and car we agreed. All seemed smooth as we had moved on to financing and trade-in discussions. Then suddenly the new sales rep kept going back and forth from his desk to his managers office. This went on a couple times for probably 30-45 mins when we finally said "can we just speak directly to the manager". At that time, she came out, and directed that they could not honor the price even though this had been agreed by 2 different salesman. What a big waste of time! So untrustworthy! I would never go back there again. Stay as far away from this place as possible.

Mike Parker found my add on Craigslist and offered a comfortable amount for it. He was always very professional and able to be reached. He came in on a Saturday to help finalize the deal which ended up being a very quick and enjoyable experience. We highly recommend this facility along with doing business with Mike, he really made the experience a good one.Jason Smith was also very helpful with trying to find us a trade in vehicle but we decided to stick with one car for now. My experience working with "Coach" at Larry H. Miller Toyota was truly exceptional. Prior to going into the dealership, I contacted a friend, Philo Groman and told him I was coming in to buy a car. He set me up with "Coach". I knew what I wanted and "Coach" found it for me. I scheduled time with him on the two occasions prior to going into the dealership and I stressed I needed to stick to that schedule. He communicated prior to both meetings how long it would take, what we would review and he stuck to my goal (not his!). I felt that I got more than I wanted because he paid such good attention to me.

The last two muli-point inspections have checked washer fluid filled. Not true never touched. Also previous service tech indicated i needed new wiper blades. I find this interesting since i just replaced them. In addition said i needed new battery on 4runner. Battery was checked at interstate and they said it was fine. Whats going on here????

The showroom was nice, staff attentive. However, they simply should know more about the product, especially electronics They should know iPhone is not Qi wireless charge without an adapter, never got information about free Sirius, etc. and be willing to work with better pricing . I just needed a car, had ability to buy immediately and they refused any negotiation. They even tried to charge me above sticker price for an option to be installed at their dealership saying it was expensive to install locally rather than factory installed. When I went with check in hand to finalize, I told them I wanted sticker price or I would walk away, and they took off $70. I should have walked away from the whole deal, when they are the only dealership in the entire area not offering Veteran discount, nor TRueblue pricing. Since this was during the toyotathon, , I am sure they were looking to make up from the sale any prior concessions usually givenAfter I made the purchase, and I know I accepted their offer because I just didn't want to haggle anymore, I found out I definitely could have done significantly better elsewhere for pricing. For this reason alone I will not recommend nor ever buy from them again. This is my 4th Toyota, and next time I will just play the haggle game.

Have been working with Wayne Lewis for years. He found a used 2008 Toyota Tacoma several years ago for me that has been great to drive and has not given me any trouble. Wayne has been fantastic!I moved to Albuquerque New Mexico in 2014. Sold my 2008 Toyota Tacoma (boo-ooh) because I need a four passenger vehicle. After purchasing a vehicle here in Albuquerque I realized I missed not having a 4 wheel drive vehicle to drive the off pavement roads in New Mexico. So called Wayne and said I was looking for a 1999 Toyota 4Runner and if anything was traded in to call me. Three months after making this request, Wayne called and said he thought he found something. After a test drive by a friend that proved okay, I flew to Denver, went straight from the airport to the dealership and bought the SUV. Boulder Toyota even fixed the rear brakes even after we had agreed upon a price because it was a safety issue.Even though there are 2 LHM Toyota Dealers in Albuquerque, I will still contact Wayne first if I ever need another vehicle.

The surprise was learning of a fantastic maintenance and warranty plan. This was very welcome as I had shoulder surgery a few months earlier and usually do oil changes myself. Suddenly the battery in my Toyota Camry went dead. I called AAA to start the car for me and Iheaded immediately to Larry H. Miller Toyota in Boulder. I did not have an appointment. I went to the service desk and the nicest young man named John came to me asking how he could help. I explained my battery problem to him inasmuch as the battery was only two years old. He immediately looked up my record, replaced the battery, set controls in the car while I waited in the lobby. I was on my way in about 15-20 minutes. He was efficient, kind, helpful and asked if he could do anything else for me all the while smiling. While I was waiting in the lobby, he kept me informedof what he was doing. I don't know when I have had such good service from a car dealership!

I traded in a 2014 sedan where I expected that they were going to give me up to 120% of kbb value as advertised on their website - It was false advertising. Note that they no longer have it advertised on the site now but I did take a picture of the ad on their site before it was taken down. I would have walked away except that the Toyota make model and color I really wanted was not available at other dealerships--it wasn't available here too--they dealer traded to get it for me. Too bad for me, I wished I wasn't in such a time crunch then I could've taken my time--had the time off from work and wanted to get the vehicle asap also rushed so that my trade in would be worth more as well.Price wise on the new car they matched what Mountain States Toyota quoted me for the same exact car except the color was white. The initial talks about the price though was that they couldn't get me as good a deal but they had the contacts to a sister dealer that had the color I wanted and the Internet sales admin talked to the General manager and they agreed to match the price at Mountain states. They did good on this front. The other thing is they sold me an auto warranty that I later changed my mind about 14 hours later. I called first thing in the morning and set a time up in the afternoon--they told me to go in and we'll discuss. But by the time I went in it was too late for their Finance director to go back and change the finance papers, he told me "nowadays, funding is instant and we can't change it." Finance director also told me "man you have issues with your deals and gave me a short lecture on this is a legal binding contract" after I told him I worked with Autonation for my 2014 Nissan and they accommodated me changing my mind about the warranty and finance 1 day later. So yea my fault for being indecisive but sometimes sleeping on it it just doesn't feel right. I understand it's a contract and so on. But at least the guys at Autonation focused on my satisfaction and didn't put me down. Sometimes you are going to have these indecisive customers, you need to learn how to deal with them respectfully. Additionally, I wasn't trying to return the car. Having worked with autonation Nissan before, sales and finance dept was far superior and helpful and customer focused than this dealership. TO BE FAIR though, they allowed me to cancel the warranty contract so bottom line I was able to get out of it but I am disappointed that it will just be a lump sum payment to my loan. I just wanted it off the total for credit reporting sake. The IMPORTANT factor is I can live with it knowing I am not paying that extra 3500 for the auto warranty on a brand new car. It's a Toyota -- it better live up to its high quality brand name otherwise this will be the first and last Toyota I ever buy. Note: the Finance director did tell me they are Toyotas but they do break and asked if I had seen how busy their Service department is and that they are expanding service dept -- I'm hoping what he said though was just a ploy for me to keep the auto warranty.

I bring both of my cars to Boulder Toyota for service. I always work with Rork, who is knowledgeable, thorough, and incredibly helpful. He works really hard to find ways to give your car what it needs without breaking the bank. When a particular service requires more time and he doesn't want you to have to sit around and wait, he arranges for a shuttle to bring you where you need to go and return to get you at a convenient time. The waiting area is a bit cramped, but is fine if you have to wait 1.5 hours or less (there are also outdoor tables when the weather is nice). Overall, I am very happy and will continue to use Boulder Toyota and Rork specifically for all of my service needs.

A hot Saturday afternoon I was out on the road and suddenly the emergency warning light with a flashing read care and exclamation point appeared. The book said to have it woes to be serviced, which I did. In the tow truck we arrived at 5:00 pm and was able to get the car into the lot and sign paper work. My sister was with me with her luggage as I had been taking her to the shuttle to get to the airport, We had no ride to Longmont. When I asked about the nearest bus stop, Wayne volunteered to take us to Longmont. What a great guy.The repair work, broken water pump etc., was explained and promptly completed. Took my Prius in for its 90,000 mile checkup. This was a big one that requires a lot of things to be done/changed. Dropping off the car was quick. Soon after I got to my office, I got a call from the tech saying I needed to have a belt replaced that was not part of the checkup. He let me know what was needed, why it was needed and the additional cost. This is what I love about having my car serviced at Larry H. Miller Toyota (which is not where I bought the car, by the way). They always keep you in the loop on what's being done and what needs to be done BEFORE they preform the work. No surprises when I went to pick up my car and, as usual, it was ready earlier than they had told me they'd be finished. The techs are always friendly, informative and punctual. Great service.

After the sale, remembered not only my name, but my wife, three kids, and mom-in-law and mentioned them each in a thank you email. This was on a very busy Friday night. Nick was fantastic, and he's the reason I got the new car. Nick was the best car salesman I've ever dealt with, and worked around the clock to get me the best deal possible on the car that I wanted. There was no haggling, and Nick made sure to be straight with me about the options. Melanie Ornelas was very pleasant to work with and got the oil change/inspection done on time as promised. List of customers shown me when I arrived DID NOT have me on it even though I had scheduled the service a week in advance. Last time in for service my wife waited for (2) hours without anyone coming to tell her the work was done. She inquired and they rushed the car through in 10 minutes and DID NOT change the oil (I looked at it when my wife got home - still dirty). A very poor experience. I told Melanie of this and she reacted well and made sure this service was done properly. I have been unable to get service thru' Chris Doerschlag as I used to. This dealership is beyond incompetent. They are also completely underhanded. The only good I can say is that they were easy to work with initially and they found us the exact car we were looking for, which while not at their dealership was in Colorado and supposedly they would have it to us in a few days. This is where it gets gnarly. 3 days out: no call yet about the new car that was supposed to be here today. 4 days out: "we sold the car that we were going to trade for yours, so unless you want to pay the $800 transportation cost the deal is off", we go back to the dealership and waste another hour reminding them that we signed a contract that included transportation and it would be illegal not to mention immoral too not produce our car. They agree to do the right thing. 7 days out: "your new car is in, come pick it up" we arrive to find a completely different car then the car we signed a contract for. Different color inside and out, not including some of the options we wanted. They proudly presented the totally wrong car and then acted so confused about what could possibly have gone wrong, it must have been the dealership they got the car from that pulled fast one on them. "Don't worry we will get the bottom of this and we will get your car". 10 days out: "we are still looking for your car and we know what went wrong. Our swap manager (not the other dealership, surprise surprise) was confused about the fact that you had purchased an actual car with a vin number from us and thought you were just looking for a highlander with captains chairs" Translation they tried to pull a fast one on us and get us to take a different car then the one we originally bought since they lost that car when they were messing around figuring out how to transport it. 12 days out: "we should have your car here in 2-3 days or worst case scenario it might take 3-4 weeks". 13 days out: We go to another dealership and buy an actual car, not a hypothetical one. Thanks for a truly horrible car buying experience Boulder Toyota, you have given me a story to tell for years

We purchased our new car from Larry Miller Toyota.. We kept Emily, our sales associate, out in the rain and wind for 4+ hours trying out different cars. She was knowledgeable and friendly - and went out in the rain without complaint. She also had a nice sense of humor, which is a plus in my book. Oh - and if she didn't know something, she asked someone who did. She was very good - we liked working with her.We finally selected a dark blue Venza AWD. When we got back inside we saw a grey Venza FWD on the sales floor that we liked. This was at least an hour after closing. We went out one last time to test drive a Venza FWD that was on the lot. While we did the paperwork they jumped the car in the showroom because it's battery was dead from being on the sales floor without being started.Since it was late - 2 hours past closing and we were all tired - we did the minimum amount of paperwork and drove home in our new car. That was Saturday. We discovered, later in the evening, that the battery hadn't held a charge. We charged the battery and I drove to the dealership on Monday instead waiting until Tuesday. I wanted to drive my new car without worrying about it not starting when I was out and about. They changed the battery without question.We completed the remainder of the paperwork while I was there, so I didn't have to make a 2nd trip in on Tuesday. I had an appointment a little later in the day that I couldn't not miss. My husband couldn't come in and sign things until after I left. The loan officer, Ambez, was very helpful and considerate of our schedules. He carefully explained everything I needed to know while keeping my schedule in mind. I can't say enough about the service we received - it was excellent - and I am picky. A different sales associate even found me some Advil.I imagine we will get the same treatment from the service department when we go in for routine maintenance. We've used them previously to fix the AC on our Sienna and were treated well.

After a frustrating visit to another dealer I called Toyota prepared for "more of the same." Not the case. I got the info I wanted without the "salesiness" one comes to expect from a car dealer. Nice people. Straight-forward info. Then the question came from the sales manager: "What would it take to make this deal a slam dunk?" I said, "I'll get back to you," which I did via email that night. By the morning, all my terms were accepted, no more haggling, and I'm certain we both walked away with a win. After signing the requisite reams of paper, Tom even offered to spend more time with me and my new car so I could get to know it. Which he didn't have to do, as I'd already bought it. I will definitely shop there again.

Once service was completed, we reviewed all of the findings and ensured that I understood what was being said. One overlooked check was the condition of the cabin air filter which proved to be extremely dirty and so was replaced. This attention to detail was greatly appreciated. The only down note was that the service took about 10 minutes longer than initially estimated. In future, a completion time range (minimum, maximum) would be appreciated to aid more careful planning.

This time, the dept was running behind....there were obviously many complicated repairs happening at the time based upon conversations in the waiting area. Rork went out of his way to ensure that I was comfortable and understood the time-frame. He did a very thorough job of explaining the services provided today, future recommended services, and the reasons for those recommendations. I felt he was honest and wanted what was best for me and my car above all else. He even helped me with an issue I'd forgotten to mention up front, fixing the problem himself with ease! Not only will I return to Larry Miller, but I will ask for Rork by name for future service appts.

I found an oily substance dripping from my car on the garage floor. I got an immediate appointment. there was no problem. Apparently I had driven through some "gunk" and it was dripping off my car onto the garage floor. the technicians cleaned up the gunk on my car and checked the brakes, struts, etc. and found no problems. My initial visit was for service, but It turned out that fixing my car wasn't really reasonable, So my next visit was a sales visit, looking for a used car, and after some exploring, the newer models seemed like a possibility, so I'm really answering for all three options below - service, sales-new and sales-used.I had a Highlander and LOVED it until the transmission quit on me. I was looking for something a little smaller like the RAV4, hoping to improve the ONLY thing I didn't love about my Highlander - the fuel efficiency. I worked with Wayne Lewis, and he met with me several times at my request to help narrow down my choices. We looked and drove and drove and looked some more, and I kept going back and forth between wanting just another Highlander and wanting to find something with significantly better fuel efficiency, I also couldn't decide between getting an older, less expensive vehicle and getting a brand new car with no worries about any major repairs anywhere on the horizon. It was enough to drive a salesperson crazy. But Wayne stuck with me and kept trying to find what I was looking for, even though it changed so frequently. We looked at a LOT of cars. Wayne definitely stood out from the crowd of salesman at other dealerships, and even from some of the other salespeople at Boulder Toyota. He was patient and calm, genuinely friendly, not overly chatty, and never did that obnoxious overzealous fake-bonding thing so many other salespeople do. He did not pounce on every potential new customer. He seemed to understand that customers will come to the salesperson when they are ready. Wayne answered my endless questions patiently and professionally. He did not spew the complete list of features on every model we walked past. He listened to me and provided the information that was appropriate for me, He didn't seem to mind going on numerous test drives with me. He was eager to help me find the right car for my needs and suggested several different options. He was extremely helpful and very pleasant to work with and I will definitely find him again when the time comes. THANK YOU WAYNE ! Also, thank you very much to Rork Marney in Service (with the Brown Team) for his compassion in delivering the news that my Highlander was not going to make it, and for introducing me to Wayne. Thank you Rork!

What impressed me first at Boulder Toyota was the salesman, Vandy Scott, who quickly found the exact Tacoma I was looking forat another dealership nearbyand suggested I try them! From the San Francisco Bay Area I had been combing the western states to find a Tacoma Access Cab 4x4 manual transmissionwith no luck. So I tried the dealership he suggested, put down a deposit, and then made flight arrangements to get to Boulder, and drive the truck back to the Bay areaonly to have the dealership call and say they had sold the truck before they could process my deposit. So I called Vandy again, who had the same truck, different color. Good enough, I said! Again, I put down a deposit. But, this time everything went like clockwork. They worked up a special long-distance agreement for my unusual circumstance, everything accomplished by phone, email and text message. I flew to Denver, took a transport to Boulder, and the truck was there, waiting, ready, first thing in the morning. And Vandy was there with the papers ready to go! I was on the road back to the Bay Area in an hour. What could have been a nightmare was a breeze: Many thanks to Vandy Scott and Boulder Toyota for making it happen!

I went for my first service and asked for only one important thing, that the passenger belt stops making a chiming sound when my dog is in the front seat. The woman in the express department first told me its illegal, then she said it would take too much time and it would cost me money. Eventually a nice manager, Jason, fixed the situation and got someone to correct the issue in under 5 minutes! Thanks Jason, you were great, too bad the rest of the "express team" was horrible to say the least.

I decided to buy a new car while staying with my family in Denver. I live in Arizona now, but lived in Denver for 13 years. I am a member of Costco and my husband had bought a car from them at a dealership in Phoenix and had been very happy with the car and the discounted price.I was referred by Costco to Larry Miller's Toyota dealership in Boulder.I was inclined to buy a Prius - and the dealership had the model I was looking for, plus the trim and it was the right color. So, I was very lucky! However, I was very impressed by the quality of the salesman - his help and advice and knowledge. I felt no pressure to buy and it was a very good experience. I also was impressed by the finance manager, and his help in finding an excellent loan company for me. I could have paid cash but my husband and I felt the financing was excellent. So, I do have a car loan, but a good one.

Our salesman was Tou Lee, and he was great! My only complaint was, the bank told our salesman what cars they could make work for the loan. I walked in the dealership with no credit looking to get it started. My family were given 3 vehicles to choose from. We fell in love with the 2007 VW Jetta. Beautiful car. My family and I were there most of the day, mostly phone calls by our salesman to the lender. After a lengthy phone call to the lender to get final approval on the car we fell in love with, the lender then says that we can't get that car. My wife and I were upset to hear this news after being given this option, then having it taken away. We felt like we wasted our day. We left the dealer heart broken. This left us only one option for a vehicle and my family desperately needed a vehicle. The dealer brought this other car into their shop to find out that this was not a good vehicle to sell and Tou refused to sell us a bad car. Tou also had great news along with this more bad news that was just given to us. Tou was baled to talk with the bank and get us into the car my family and I fell in love with in the first place. Awesome!! So now I'm able to rebuild my credit and drive a sweet car! My hat goes off to my salesman Tou, he was awesome!! Thanks again!!

I never dis a business on one bad day but the Larry H Miller Boulder Toyota Service Department has gone from bad to worse.I had my 2007 RAV4 there well over a year ago and was hesitant to go back. At that time I left my car all day for servicing and hadn't heard from them by late afternoon so I called. They forgot they had my car and did not work on it! I had to bring it back another day because it was too late to start. So yesterday I brought it in for a recall, oil change, and because a number of diagnostic lights had come on, it needed computer diagnosis because it could have been anything from a bad gas cap, oxygen sensor, coil, etc). I had a 7 AM appt and was told that it should be only 1.5-2 hrs. Now things can take longer and did but it was how they handled things which really was the problem. To make a long story short, first John, the service manager, said that if he could fix the dashboard diagnostic problem within the $116 cost of the diagnostic charge he would but if it was more he'd call me. So I walked nearby to have breakfast and was back in an hour so I waited in the waiting area. 1.5 hours passed, 2 hours passed. 2.25 hours passed and no call but I could see my car up on the lift so I went out to the service area to find John. He said unfortunately that they had found that the ignition coil was bad and it needed new spark plugs which would cost $495 but they hadn't started since it was a lot more than the $116. He also said there was about another $3300 worth of work that needed to be done. I did not have the time nor wanted to undertake the that effort without a second opinion so I said to just do the plugs and coil. He said it should be pretty quick so I waited patiently. Another hour passed and no word but my car was up on the lift for most of this time (which is a strange spot for reaching spark plugs). So I decided to check how things were going again. I wen to John's service station but no John. So the woman service agent (sorry I forget your name) next door who was very appologetic tried to find him. After hunting outside for him she said he was with another customer and would be with me in a minute in the waiting area. So I waited another half hour and no John. So I wnet back to the service area and there he was talking to another customer. That finished quickly and I asked how things were going and he said that he had my car mixed up with another one and that it was more difficult to get to my plugs but he'd go check with the technician. After looking for several minutes he could not find the technician who was supposed to be working on my car. It is now 11:30 AM so they give me a ride to work and say they will deliver my car to me and knock off the diagnostic charge (which they did). My car got delivered in early afternoon and I was happy to be able to drive it home and back to work without incident. HOWEVER, I went to try and put gas in it today and the gas cover release no longer works. It must have been adjusted by them because it will pop the cover but when you let go of the lever it just pulls the door shut again! EEEK! I am taking it back in first thing in the morning so they can fix that. In 2 weeks have an appointment for the final recall that is supposed to take 6 hrs so I am leaving it for the day but it better get done. BTW one of the issues the technician claimed is bad are the rear shocks leaking. I had them replaced in February so I am taking it back to where I had them replaced. For LHM Toyota's sake those shocks better have infant mortality. After that I have no reason ever to go back to LHM Boulder Toyota.

My husband and I went to Larry H Miller Toyota - Boulder on Saturday to possibly purchase a new vehicle.The experience was lackluster. When we walked in, we were greeted by a sales guy, Nick. I told him which vehicle we were interested in test driving, and he led us out. He wasn't very friendly or talkative. He seemed pretty indifferent from the get-go. (I had mentioned that I previously spoke with David Elmgreen and Sean over the phone, and that they seemed fairly friendly, but he wasn't interested in this information. I guess he wanted the potential sale to himself.)After looking over the vehicle, we decided we wanted to take it for a test drive. Since we prefer to listen to the sounds of the car and focus on the ride/drive (rather than make small talk that distracts us), we asked if we could take it ourselves (without him accompanying us) and offered our driver's licenses and insurance. Nick said, 'I can't let you do that. I have to go with you.' I looked at him dubiously and said, 'Really?' He said, 'Yes. Company policy.' I further raised my eyebrows and said, 'Really? That's very odd.' I stared at him, clearly not believing him, and then he goes, 'Well, you can, but it takes a lot longer.' I told him that was no problem, since we weren't in a rush. He was clearly not happy with our answer, but guess what? He came back with the license plate in just a few minutes. Seriously, Nick? Straight out lying to your customer's face is not a way to instill confidence in them within the first ten minutes of meeting them.So, we took the vehicle out for a test drive and decided we liked it. Next step: will they offer a reasonable amount on our trade? In short: nope. Not even close. Now, we've both bought/traded vehicles many times in the past with dealerships. I understand the process. I know they're a business and need to turn a profit. However, they low-balled me by $2k on my trade-in from what 2 other dealerships offered me. Furthermore, they insulted us by saying, 'Oh, well, the other dealerships could offer you more based on how much they were discounting the vehicle they were trying to sell you.' Yeah, thanks but no thanks for the b.s. reply, Nick. They were so lazy they didn't give us a counter-offer! At this point, we had heard enough between the lying and b.s., that we just walked away.In short: We were lied to twice, severely low-balled on our trade-in (compared to other dealerships, no less), and did not feel at all valued as potential customers. Shame, since we were ready to walk away with a new vehicle. If you're looking for a car dealership that does a better job of lying to your face, and that actually seems happy to take your money, save yourself the drive and stay away from Larry H. Miller Toyota in Boulder.

I cannot see anything on the ground but I hope it does not become an issue since they are unsure what it might be exactly. Every time I come to service both my Toyota cars, Rork is the consummate professional. As a former Toyota mechanic, he is very knowledgeable about the workings of the automobiles making it easy for me to explain any problems. Rork looks at my cars and explains to me what the issue may be, and makes sure the mechanics look into it. He also, makes recommendation on what should be evaluated/checked-out if it has not been done in the past such as an alignment. Rork is always thorough, patient, kind and conducts business with a smile. He's a great asset to Toyota!The last time I was in to service my 2009 Toyota, it was a very busy day with the Toyota recall on the Rav-4s. The mechanics were very backed up in the alignment section which is what was required for my car. They were great in keeping up with the back log, and got my car done in time for the scheduled pick up. Wow! They are amazing! I wish the customers could personally speak to them and let them know how appreciative we are of their expertise. Please let them know I am!I've had my Camrys serviced by Toyota since 1994, and have always had a great experience interacting with "all" staff.

I recently purchased my 4th used vehicle, from here. This is the only dealership I have gone to over the years, and I don't see that changing. Every time I have been there, I have been greeted by a friendly staff member and not hassled. All the other people I encountered, while doing business there, were also friendly and helpful. Marissa was super helpful, although pretty new on the job, made sure I got every answer I wanted, was genuinely caring to help me chose the right car. I was hesitant coming in just for information, didn't want to be pressured to buy by seasoned male salesman, didn't want any BS, just info. Marissa was the real deal. Chris who helped with trade in was also very nice, kind and helpful. Rick was very friendly, gave me good info, things I didn't know. In the maintenance department outside Chris (with the long last name?) has taken care of me and my Prius for 8 years. He's a major part of why I didn't look at any other dealership for a car. He is beyond fabulous with how clear and honest he's been while my car was serviced, always explaining things clearly so I'd understand. Sometimes he even brought a worn out part to show me why I needed a new one. With all the horror stories of bad or fake car repairs, I've felt confident bringing my Prius to you. If Chris was busy with someone, I usually waited for him instead of talking to others (except Mike was helpful too)...trust is very important.

Larry Miller Toyota/Scion in Boulder is a great dealership. After my old vehicle was totaled out, they helped me acquire a new Corolla. Additionally, they help my wife trade in her old worn out Kia for a newer vehicle.The service department personnel are fantastic. When I needed warranty checks done, or my wife needed maintenance to her car, they always took good care of us. The service was excellent, and prices were reasonable. There are closer dealerships to where we live, but I don't mind driving some extra miles to have Larry Miller's dealership take care of our needs. I would recommend this business to anyone I know.

Called to schedule 35,000 service on my Prius. Person scheduling service insisted (3 times) that an oil change was required at 35,000 in spite of the published maintenance recommendation. I asked several times that she verify the maintenance recommendations, but she insisted that the synthetic oil should be replaced every 5,000 miles (while the published schedule specifies 10,000).When I called the 'customer relations' representative (Sara Tubbs) to ask about the discrepancy she said that since I had purchased pre-paid oil changes they did them at every service appointment (or at least charged you for it at every appointment). When I explained that wasn't what Toyota recommended she became very angry and said the service person was new (and apparently not well trained ) then hung up.Take your vehicle to a reputable service department!!!! I'll never buy another vehicle from this shady dealer.

This dealer advertised a car here on AutoTrader and on their own website with a price. I called to see if the car was still available (it was), confirmed the price and headed to the dealer. Upon arrival I was informed the price was a mistake and it was $2,000 higher.I don't know if this is normal business practice, but BAIT and SWITCH is bad business.I have no further experience as I left immediately.

The last time I went here, I had to get a new clutch for my vehicle because there was an overhaul on my stick shift. My only disappointment was they did not fix it right the first time as they forgot to put a bolt down. I would have bottomed out my car if my friend did not notice and keep it together for me until I got it fixed again. They were understanding at the dealership but I was a tad frustrated.

I think this dealership takes too long to get an oil change, even when you have an appointment. In my experience, it can take up to 3 hours to get in and out of there. Also, they usually forget to reset my digital card in my car so my car says to change my oil soon right after I get it changed.

This dealership must believe that consumers have no access to the internet and are completely ignorant in car sales tactics. Off the bat theyre friendly, but when it comes to the negotiation piece I was downright insulted. Ive purchased one vehicle from this dealer, and recently attempted to purchase two more. I did not complete the purchase of the second two cars and went to another dealer as an observable pattern of behavior quickly emerged. While you can get to a fair price with these guys, I did not wish to repeat my first experience and walked out. My belief is that they try to wear you down; thus the extremely lengthy process I noticed others have commented on as well. If you can outlast them the deal will be fair, but not the best. My experience in both cases is pretty similar to what others have posted on this site:1. Once you indicate a willingness to talk numbers, they take their sweet time giving you their price offer that is the starting point of the negotiation. In both of my experiences, you sit at the sales guys desk while he consults with the manager for what seems like an eternity 30 minutes plus.2.The numbers they come back with are completely out of line. The figures quoted imply the customer has done no research and has no clue what the car theyre considering is going for. To call it a starting point is absurd. In both experiences I did not even need to consult my own notes to know how far off their starting position was. There is no goodwill shown in the initial offer even for repeat business. 3.If you reach an agreement (which I did the first time), the paperwork can take another 5 hours or more. I was not sure that this time was excessive until I walked on the last deal they were trying to give me and went to another dealer where I completed the process in 35 minutes.To add more color to my experience with the car I actually purchased from them some additional detail is prudent. Their starting offer to purchase had my payment $300 higher than I ended up getting the car for. Negotiations took more than five hours after which we reached a point that was in my range of what seemed fair. Without information such as their dealer holdback and other details, there may have been additional room to negotiate. Ive subsequently had other dealers put all this information on the table so that we can negotiate based on good information. Service with this dealer is outrageously expensive. While Ive only had a couple of things that I had to pay for thanks to Toyota Care, I was able to have those completed by another party at 30-50% less than what this dealer was charging.In summary, I could not say enough to discouraging purchasing from this dealer. Theyre so coin operated theyve lost sight of whats important to the customer to the extent they insult our intelligence.

These dealers just don't have the time to work with you and we were even there on a week day. The dealers were nice until it came time to actually make the purchase and then everything came to stand still and took forever. We purchased our vehicle here and it took over 3 hours for them to complete the purchase paperwork (while our infant was with us). Then when we finally got the paperwork in the mail, a month later, it had been filled out incorrectly (wrong names on the title and had to be sent back and redone). Really if you're going to take that long to finish the paperwork at least do it accurately.Love the car but would recommend trying a different Toyota dealer. We'll be in the market for another new car soon and we are thinking of another Toyota but we will NOT be going back to this dealer to test drive or purchase.

My car buying experience with Boulder Toyota started out just fine. I had been watching for a Rav4 v6 through the certified used toyota program and finally one came up in boulder. The actual sales process was ok, but I was told the car had only one owner, which was "technically" true but turns out it was owned by a rental car company. A little different that what is typically meant by one owner. Also, my real problem is that I was dumb enough to be suckered into the extended warranty. I know, I know it is never worth the money, which is definitely true. But I did have a few repairs that needed covered. First was a leak in a piece under the windshield. Apparently this wasn't covered by the "so-called" bumper to bumper warranty. After much complaining they finally agreed to fix it, but I had to drive all the way up to boulder instead of just having it done at the dealer by my house. Next a little later I had an airbag issue and again, I had to take it to their dealer, a Nissan one this time. Which makes no sense. Now "technically" this bullpucky warranty I foolishly bought was provided only by Larry Miller dealers. So I was supposed to go to one of them, but it was unclear when I bought it and it was presented as a Toyota warranty (although I'm sure all the terms they used were legal they just shaped it in a way to make it seem like that)Now mind you they did nothing "wrong" but all these shady sales tricks really leave me with a bad feeling of Boulder Toyota. Their warranty is shoddy and just a way they try to fleece you. I am kicking myself for expecting a smidgen of decency from car dealers.

I am in the market for a new SUV or crossover. I am comparing multiple makes and models. RAV4 was one of the vehicles I was considering. I wanted to look at and drive one the same day I was test driving other makes for a good comparison. I stopped into the dealer and was taken to the lot by one salesman, who was paged within a couple minutes and left me for another customer, promising to send another salesperson. When the second salesman arrived he immediately asked if I was there alone or if my husband was with me - this is 2011!!! He was paged in to close a sale for another customer within 2 minutes of arrival and offered to send a third salesperson - all in less than 5 minutes. I will never set foot in that dealership again!

John was very clear about what needed to be done, and why there was trouble in the first place. The shuttle driver went out of his way to collect me after hours. And the breaks, which needed to be turned, are very smooth after the work. Also, valve chatter is notably less after the gaskets were replaced.

I needed to have the passenger side sun visor replaced on our Camry as it broke and when I arrived the guy who helped me at the service desk said that it was a simple installation and he might be able to do it himself and then I'd only have to pay for the part. He was able to install it and he saved me on labor. Now that's great customer service!!!

But the workmanship was good and all was accomplished in good time.While I waited for my car to be serviced, I met with Coach because I am considering purchasing a new car. I filed for bankruptcy and it was discharged 12/2008. I am a Costco customer and was originally assigned to Nang Ng. He was not in on the day that I brought my car in for service. He continues to follow up. My credit score according to Experian is 666 and what Coach pulled up was in the 500's. He said that he could not sell me a car without a significant down payment. I have plenty of income but want to only use $1,000 as a downpayment for a car. Coach said he would follow-up with an email which never arrived. I also asked how the Costco discount worked and he was vague in his answer stating that it depends upon the vehichle. I did not appreciate that answer.I would consider purchasing a new or newer used car either a Camry, Avalon or an SUV. I have owned 2 Landcruisers since 1996 and love that vehichle. So it might be difficult to switch to a sedan. My Landcruiser has over 235,000 miles on it and I plan to keep it.Thanks,Terri

Just purchased a 2nd generation 4Runner with low miles from a private seller and wanted to make sure everything would be in good condition for an upcoming road trip. Jennifer is very knowledgeable of this specific vehicle, she mentioned she has owned 4Runners and Tacomas herself. They are thorough, patient, and have excellent communication with customers. The timeframe she quoted was accurate and she called 30 minutes before it was done so I could plan accordingly. Like others, I agree they are a little more expensive than others BUT- if I don't have to bring it back twice for the same problem (which I read others have issues with) then it is actually cheaper.

He prepared our paperwork and gave us an estimate on how long it would take to complete the 5000 mile free Toyota maintenance. When we explained that we had a conflict due to another important personal appointment Mike arranged for Shuttle Service for us. We were able to accomplish our personal business and maintenance on our new Highlander simultaneously. Everything went very well. Justin promised the oil change would take 1-1.25 hours. It took 1.5 hours. Not bad for you guys as it seems to take alot longer than usually promised. He even came out and told me when it was finished as opposed to other times (with other service managers) I had to ask. In each of these cases the car had been finished 30 mins or more and I was just sitting there waiting for nothing. I bitched each time to the head service person. He must be trained to say he is sorry, but things did not get better until lately.You are a high volumn dealership and it shows!!!! My lexus, jeep and even my subaru service was more friendly and customer oriented. The Boulder jeep people even came out to their waiting room and kept me appraised as to where everything stood. You should hire their female serice manager, can't think of her name (I think it is Irene). She is very good. Too bad their cars are not as good as yours. if they were I would be driving a jeep.Your salesman Wayne Lewis is very good. I am not sure how many cars I have bought from him. Better keep him around.

I have always used Dale Baker's Red Team for any service that needed to be done. Dale is professional, reliable, straightforward, efficient, and trustworthy. I always know what I am getting when I work with Dale... I know the work will be done promptly and correctly. I always recommend that my friends take their Toyotas to Boulder Toyota (even though I live in neighboring Longmont, which has it own Toyota dealership!) The service in Boulder is consistently excellent and I rely heavily on knowing that my truck is well-maintained. At 150,000 miles, I need to know that my truck will run every day. No matter what. I've been a customer of Boulder Toyota since I purchased my first Toyota Land Cruiser in January, 1982. During most of this time, I've worked with Dale Baker as my service adviser. I currently have a 1998 Toyota Land Cruiser (150,000) miles that is in showroom condition. Dale and team have helped me keep it this way.My goal is to have a car that is available 100% of the time. Since we purchased our camry, each time I have had an occasion to take the car in for service, I have been happy with the way I have been treated. They give me the impression that they want me to enjoy my auto and give it the care that they would want if it were their auto. Called and got an appointment for the next day, drop the car and it was ready when I called back, the shuttle that brought me back to work an back to the service station was punctual, they explain everything and gave me a great price. I'm getting the two next oil changes for free. Very good experience.

You can't imagine how long it takes us customers, years and years, to find what has been put together at Boulder Toyota Scion. The customer service and repair work is solid; done right the first time, every time. I trust my vehicle will be expertly maintained; and I actually save money by never going anywhere else, even for an oil change. It's experiences somewhere else that make us all wary of service shops. John did a fine job of researching my service history to resolve a problem I had with tires. He checked my car thoroughly, and presented me with several options. He found just the right tire for my needs. He also had his tech thoroughly check my car for any suspension or steering problems. He gave me a very good deal financially on some excellent Michelin tires. He kept me informed several times while I was waiting for the service. And he got me out quickly. I checked the blocks above as I did because I couldn't have been better satisfied with my service or happier that they got my car riding smooth as silk again. I would absolutely recommend their service department and John Whipple to handle any Toyota maintenance issues.

I have never had a bad experience dealing with Kim in Sales, or Chris in Service. I appreciate their taking the time to explain any questions I have. Both go the extra mile. I have been using your Dealership to service my cars since I moved here almost 6 years ago. My son lived in Boulder at the time and recommended you. I have always had my cars serviced at Dealers as I feel that any problems or issues can be dealt with on the spot. The two cars that I have (RAV4 and Venza) are my 4th and 5th Toyotas. I have been very happy with all of them.

My experience at the dealership is good, however it is not great. Currently you require me to schedule a visit for an oil change. When I am early or at least promptly on time for the appointment, I still wait over an hour. Great service would entail that I am in and out within 30 minutes.I recognize that you are not Grease Monkey. However, I think you can do much better.Thank you,

Back when I owned a Subaru, every trip to the dealer, I learned to, when picking up the car, open the hood. EVERY visit, I would find a shop rag, a torque wrench, a screw driver, or some other tool left behind. No one seemed to be alarmed by this. When I bought my FJ at Boulder Toyota, I intended to most of my oil changes myself. After my first visit to the service department, that changed. Chris acts as if he really cares about my FJ, and my happiness with it. As I've made a few mods to the FJ over the years, I've learned to depend on his suggestions regarding how they might affect my warranty or practical use of the car. The techs I've met also are knowledgeable. One of my greatest FJ joys is picking up my truck after a service at Boulder Toyota and finding a sticky note on the steering wheel that says "Nice rig!". I intend to keep my FJ for many more years, but when I buy another car, it WILL be a Toyota, and I'll buy it at Boulder Toyota. Everyone I've worked with at Boulder Toyota is honest and reliable. As a business consultant, I see many many poorly run businesses. One of the things you notice about them is poorly run businesses can't keep good employees. That doesn't seem to be the case at Boulder Toyota. I recommend your business to friends frequently, and am very active on fjcruiserforum.com and yelp.com and compliment Boulder Toyota as often as I can. You guys deserve it.

I appreciate the friendly greeting upon arriving, I have never been standing waiting for someone to help me. (Unless of course there are other people in line which is normal). The service always takes the amount of time I am told and I appreciate when the head of the service team comes to talk to me if there is anything my vehicle needs such as a battery or filter. I never feel I am being "sold" something I don't need. My questions are always answered. The customer service aspect of Boulder Toyota is excellent. I really appreciate the 3 oil changes/tire rotation/vehicle inspection for $75. It is a worthwhile purchase. I have mostly worked with Bill Waggle and he is always friendly, helpful, answers any questions I have. I recommend Boulder Toyota to others. In fact a friend of mine said they were going to switch and make the drive to Boulder to go to Boulder Toyota after me telling them about the great service.Thanks!

They seem to do a good job overall. It can take a while to get an appointment. Prices seem a bit high as compared to other shops, but I feel more confident that I am getting the straight scoop on what needs to be done on my car. People are very nice and helpful, once you get past the so-so receptionist. Mike is very friendly, happy to give you as much detail as you want about your car, and really takes care of you.

Chris Doerschlag is one of Boulder Toyota's greatest assets. Every time I come into the shop he has a smile on his face and is ready to jump in and solve any and all problems. My sister lives in Boulder but is working in Denmark on a two year assignment. One of her daughters noticed that the back tire of their 4-Runner was low so my sister asked me to take the car in for service. Chris immediately checked out all four tires and determined that the one is question was indeed losing air and needed further inspection. He told me I did the right thing by coming in, which was reassuring, and he said he would get it up on the lift as quickly as possible to understand what needed to be done. The service team found a nail in the tire and it was repaired quickly.Chris personifies customer service excellence and our entire extended family (we all own Toyotas) feels lucky to have such a knowledgable, kind and personable "go to guy" at Boulder Toyota. He deserves a bonus or at least a pat on the back from executive management!!

The Service i have received through this Toyota location has always been pleasant. We've been Toyota owners in our family since 98 and most of our service has been through the Boulder Toyota location. My mom has taken fond of Dale at your location but I will continue to schedule all of my service through Jennifer because of the time she takes to handle each customer.

I was very satisfied with the Service and friendliness of all the staff at the Toyota dealership service department. They made every effort to meet my needs which I greatly appreciated. Dale is very knowledgeable and is happy to explain everything you need to understand what work is required on your car. I felt like I could approach my decisions better as a result. They are also a trustworthy staff.

Had repeated visits for same problems and had to pay for labor every time.Always had to call at least 2 times before someone could schedule appointment. Very rarely receive call backs on voicemail left. When called for Oil & Filter Service, 3 times I did not get appointment within 2 days of the call. Last week I was told no slots are available for one week due to new customers being accommodated from other shop that closed.Prices for services and labor are at least 10% more than other shops.Shuttle services for morning drop off have very long wait times, had to arrange for alternate transport for the last couple of times after waiting for over 30mins.

Most of you know me by now. I've been buying Toyotas from you since 1976 when you were Lyons Toyota. I've sent at least a a half a dozen acquaintances to you who have also purchased Toyotas. Happily, my neighbor and his wife just purchased a Rav 4 from you at the end of February, not on my recommendation (I didn't know they were even considering a new vehicle), but because your internet sales department responded quickly and with a significantly superior price. As I had stated in the first survey I was asked to complete, the only negative comment I would have regarding my recent experience is that a greasy handprint was left on the driver's side door panel near the window.I was very impressed however when within only about an hour after submitting my first survey responses, I received a call from the customer service manager offering to clean the spot at no cost and at my convenience. I appreciate the prompt follow up and offer. I would like to also mention that the process of making an appointment is much easier now. I spoke with two different women during the process of booking and confirming my appointment and it was refreshing how friendly, professional, and helpful they were. (I am so sorry that I do not remember their names.) Keep up the good work!!

Summary: I liked Boulder Toyota at first, but they are unreliable and I no longer recommend them.I bought two cars there -- Prii in 2001 and 2007. Pricing was acceptable, the sales experience was pretty good. But they've been cutting a lot of corners recently, and (for example) I, my wife, and my two kids spent a half-hour poking around at their Highlander Hybrids on the lot (about 100feet from the sales floor door) and nobody approached us (as happened in 2001 or 2007). We went to nearby Mountain States Toyota and got excellent service and a great price on a Highlander Hybrid '10 model.Service is probably acceptable for most, but you pay a premium for going to the dealership (Prius tune-ups cost something like $250 each!), and I expect to get back reliability and on-demand service. They will refuse to do anything that is not in the official maintenance book (for example, they once refused to install aftermarket mudflaps on my Prius), and the work they do is not necessarily correct -- for example, even if you pay the extra for synthetic oil you are unlikely to get it. The last two or three tune-ups I got there had minor issues (in one case it wasn't obvious that the oil had been changed, because the dipstick was coming out just as dark after as before), but the final straw was when they asserted to me that they had rotated my tires when I could see for a fact they had not. They always made good on my complaints, but for such high prices (and no flexibility) I expect 100% reliability and quality checking -- if I wanted to inspect my own car's lube, oil, brakes, and such I'd do it myself rather than taking it to the shop.
