I would highly recommend that when anyone needs to have their vehicle serviced, they should not only go to Acura of Brooklyn service, but see Albert Brumberg. He is extremely knowledgeable about your vehicle, and is able to determine what services are needed just by asking questions. He is also a very nice person and explains everything that needs to be done to the car.

I came in for a 15000 mile service and was able to accomplish it in under 2 hours with no appointment. Albert was extremely professional and provided excellent service experience. My only concern is - Last time I brought the car in I was told I need to replace the cabin filters - this visit I was told they are in excellent shape and provided with a report to that affect and they did not need to be replaced... not sure how that is since they were never changed...

I came in for Oil Change, Air and cabinet filter changes. Richardo's service is always execellent and prompted. Came in around 8am and done by 10am. The price is within the range I'd expect. no surprises.

We had a light go on during a trip from Maryland to NYC. We re routed and found Acura of Brooklyn. The people there made us feel like home. The assistant manager Albert has some of the best customer service I have ever seen at a dealership. I would reccomend this Acura dealer to anyone. Simply put they care about their customers. They knew we were not going to be long term customers but took care of us like we were royalty. Stand up people they deserve a glowing review. We can't thank you enough.

Today I experienced a very challenging situation. My vehicle was due for is annual inspection, upon arriving at the service center, an Acura rep and myself did a walk through of the vehicle and no issues were found. Upon receiving my vehicle, my back bumper was scratched and dented. The rep was honest and forthcoming in assuming responsibility for the damage on the vehicle and insured me that Acura would resolve the issue. I appreciated the gesture and commend the service team for their honesty and customer service. Kudos to you and thank you again.

After just purchasing my car for only one week, the battery ran out on me. Apparently Park Ave Acura of NJ didn't benefit me the opportunity of a brand new battery as part of my purchase ( not sure why). Albert Bremberg took my car in for servicing and did such an exceptional job getting my batter replaced and my car back in service. As a driver who basically depends on her vehicle for work purposes, u must say the quick service was also welcomed. To sum it all up, ALBERT BRUMBERG SHOWED THE QUALITY OF SERVICE that customers can expect from Acura of Beooklyn. Wish I had purchased my car there.

Heather the service manager and her team showed the true meaning of customer service..Carlton the tech was great..A few months ago I had sworn not to return to this dealership based on the customer service experience I had recd & I even wrote the cooperate office with my complaint. Heather called me and spoke to me and promise the next time I came my service will be different and she kept her word. Carlton explained all the issues he saw and checked out all the things I had an issue with and when my car was complete I left with a smile. I'm very disappointed with my experience for a simple B1 service on my TLX, and a transmission concern. The staff was decently personable and friendly. But, let me skip to the end of the story first: They scratched my car, went "it'll buff out", but then couldn't produce a manager, give me a loaner, or really offer me any resolution. I'm waiting for a call from their service manager today. Supposedly.The pros: They completed the B1 service (oil change) without blowing up the engine, I guess.The cons: THEY SCRATCHED MY CAR. That's a big one! And after, they couldn't produce a manager. They were all gone for the day. That's interesting, doesn't someone with authority have to close the dealership? Also, no car wash? Or forget car wash, how about wiping the grease stain you left on the door when someone touched it after changing the oil? Acura is supposed to be a luxury car brand, right?Additionally, communication is tough with these guys. I had a transmission concern and specifically asked them to take a look at TSB 15-040 which addresses the shifting problem... On the phone, the tech told me "yes we did the work and documented that TSB". Well, I get there and the paperwork states TSB 15-034 which is a recall for a different issue that we'd discussed, not the shifting issue I have. No mention of them doing or even looking at 15-040.I will of course update this review with how the story ends.

I would consider the service as average, nothing exceptional. It has been like this for the last year or so know, staff taking food from the customer waiting area sends a bad look for the customer. Also fully completing the work with getting the car washed, as I have been a customer for over 10 years and the service was much more reliable then these days. Not saying my service this time was bad, but not something I can go tell other drivers to go here for the service.

I was running late from work (arriving at about 5:21pm, service ending at 5:30) coming in as a walk in, and Gabriel from service said he would take care of my vehicle. He approximated 30 min wait time for my vehicles inspection, 30 min exactly later my car was ready! I was so glad the inspection was done today (today was th last day of the inspection sticker) and avoided me tickets! Will definitely recommend anyone and everyone to Acura (sales and service)!!!

I know there are "cheaper" places to take your car for inspection, service etc. But I never have to wonder about the quality of the work. They do it all and well. As a single mom, I can't afford to be without my car and I can't wonder if it's going to break down right after I had it serviced! I never have these worries with Plaza Auto and neither will you.

Went in for an oil change and an evaluation of my power steering configuration due to stiffness while steering. Westley, the mechanic was most helpful in identifying other critical defects. He even went as far as to tightening a bolt holding the driver seat in place.

It's disappointing how a cap got missing from one of the fluid container after getting service done at the place. Yes, I can't be 100% sure it was missing at the place, but I can't think of any other way it would just come off and get missing. About a week back I got service done at the place and when I open the car hood today I see one of the cap is missing from a fluid container. When I call and spoke to the dealer I was confirmed that it was there when I took my car for service or else the mechanic/advisor would of write it down. So I'm just not sure how it got missing while driving. Very disappointed with the first service I got done.

I also told her of my dissatisfaction of the previous managers that worked there. She tells me that AOB has recently revamp all of their staff. I was pleased to hear that. I did not like the service that I was receiving from them. With their service I had to make several trips back and fort to rectify my issues. Service agent Dave provided excellent customer service and explanation of auto issues and repairs required. The Cashiers were rude on two occasions. There is no visual sign to direct the customer when dropping off the vehicle to see the agent prior to going directly to the cashier's desk. When I arrived the first cashier was extremely rude. When picking up my vehicle I was not aware I had to see the agent again to get the bill prior to going to the cashier. The second cashier again was rude in providing direction. I have been a customer with Acura since 2003 and have always received great service.

Previously I stopped bringing my vehicle here because of the distance from my home and lack of loaner vehicles available for routine services. I began to take my vehicle to Honda Manhattan (they were Acura manhattan and still had their certified technicians). After experiencing battery issues with my vehicle I called into the service department expecting to get a voicemail and Albert answered. He was amazing. He answered all of our questions, advised that I still had warranty and Acura Care. My vehicle was towed at no charge and my vehicle was fixed at no charge. Albert made the entire experience seamless. We felt well informed and will definitely return to him specifically for service. He was upbeat, helpful. For the first time since purchasing my vehicle I felt like the service department was spot on!

There are other Acura dealership which sells the cars as Plaza but I choose to go to plaza best I trust Plaza. My 2015 Tlx was hit and I brought it to plaza body. I was a bit skeptical but Anthony True assured me that I will be taken care of and that he did. He did an amazing job with getting my car fixed. I recommended PlaZa to my CIO and he bought a RDX. The service is certainly below satisfactory and I am very disappointed to join Acura family. Acura needs to learn from BMW and Lexus to provide premium service to customers who pay premium for its vehicles. - A loaner car was not provided at Acura of Brooklyn. I was given a long speech by a couple of employees that I'm not qualified for a loaner even though I brought the car due to a recall. - The work took over 4 hours to complete contrary to an estimate of 30 minutes as per TSB 15-054.- The concept of service appointment does not exists at Acura of Brooklyn. I made an appointment for 9 AM on 12/29/15 and found a long line of cars without appointments upon arrival.- Outdated and dirty Customer Lounge. In addition, mechanics covered in oil walk through the lounge constantly making a waiting experience truly impossible. - The coffee machine was broken and there was no water cooler.- And, at the end my car was returned to me with a very noticeable scratch on the left side of the bumper. Reported the issue to the service adviser (Albert) and he asked another adviser (Richard Ossman) to take a look. Richard just wiped the scratch with a wet towel and told me that it's not a big deal. It's just a scratched paint. I am very disappointed at Acura of Brooklyn. This experience will surely impact my decision for the next car. I rarely post reviews on anything. But, this time it had to be done. Acura needs an awakening. Just to reiterate. It's not a review of my service adviser Albert Brumberg. It's the review of Acura of Brooklyn as whole.

When I purchased the car (cash on delivery) I also paid for four year maintenance. I was e-mailed recently to bring the car for service. I was welcomed and promptly and efficiently handled. The car was taken care of for the required regular maintenance service (for >9000 miles, for the third time). I was surprised to pay for the regular maintenance service except for the oil without including the filter. I paid a total of $160.00 for regular promised maintenance that was shown to me. Could you please be kind enough elaborating for what are the maintenance items that I paid for. I asked this before to have the specifics maintenance service I paid for so that I will know exactly what I paid and the service I did not. This issue comes up each time for the service. When I bought the car I was told the mileage for service is 5000 miles, I have already been at Acura service 3 or 4 times for 9400 miles. Acura did a terrific job with my 2002 MDX. What I thought was a big steering wheel problem they solved with topping off my power steering fuel receptacle. They diagnosed some other problems, identified the very urgent one(s) that should be done immediately and the others that can wait. They also advised me about some previous work done by another (non-Acura) shop. Along with that came great customer service and taking the time to explain everything. All was great. But the only thing I would highly recommend is keeping customers informed of the progress of the status of the service being done. I was told 30 mins for something and ended up being 2.5 hrs of waiting. I took the steps to find the service personnel to get a status. That's something I did not like to do. I felt awkward and like I was bothering them.

Looking for a car or just dropping in to see whats new and right away I am greeted and the employees are ready and service to help you with anything you need. Specifically, the Sales Manager Ewa; she is always so kind and pleasant and works with you to have a great and swift experience from the moment you sit down at her desk to the moment you walk out of the dealership a couple days later picking up your next car. If I ever have to return for my next car it is hands down going to be Acura of Brooklyn, even if I have to travel down to Brooklyn, NY, I would rather have a longer drive but a greater experience!

my first experience with this dealership wasn't pleasant due to the fact i couldn't get my vehicle on time. especially, after i made it clear due to my work schedule my time is very limited. i was told on 3 occasions to come pick up the vehicle but when i get there it was story why it wasn't ready. that would make anybody question the purchased. was it my sale rep fault that my vehicle wasn't ready on time, maybe not but i don't feel he went at his hardest to make it happen at a timely manner. customer is great received several phone calls to keep me posted. staff are very friendly and welcome.

The manager tried to speed up the service. But why offer shuttle service if it wouldn't be provided expeditiously!! To top it off the service guy left 3 of the valve caps off, which I didn't discover until I got home.

I rarely write reviews, but cannot keep it to myself... I was about to lease new car, my Honda lease was about to expire, and I decided to try Acura. Eva and Peyton were people who met and great us. Test dive went fine, but when we were discussing the price and conditions of future lease, Eve mentioned she needed more time and we had to wait till Monday . She said that bank was not giving them info on Saturday ( which sounded strange). We were told to call Monday afternoon. When I called Peyton he apologized and asked for more time ( till Wednesday ) but said not to worry. Wednesday no one answered... I already knew it was not working , but Thursday morning dialed Eva. Eva apologized, she was busy and was going to call back just in five minutes. Should I mention that she never called back? The whole thing was unprofessional, rude and I would say humiliating. I cannot say about other workers at this dealership, but please try to avoid these two! By the way I got my Acura lease same day from Jersey !

My horrible experience with one bad apple (Richard Osman/Mgr) surely left a bad taste in my mouth. But fortunately after escalating this issue to upper management, I was assured that things would be taken care of, my car would be fixed under the warranty and i'll have a much better experience. I schedule my appointment and was told to see a gentleman by the of Kawsar Hafiz. I arrived for my morning appointment and asked for Kawsar, like I was told, only to realize he was one of the employees that was so nice to me on the day of my horrible experience with the rotten apple (Richard Osman). What a relief!!! He made me feel comfortable, he was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and just exuded great customer service.Within about 2 hours hours after arriving, I was all done and leaving a continued long time customer and a happy camper. I received an apology from Kawsar, Matt and Richard Durgin. But the actual person (Richard Osman), that left a bad taste in my mouth and displayed poor customer service in front of staff and customers, looked at me in disgust and walked right by, with not even a good morning nor apology. There is no place for that type of continued behavior in a customer service driven business. Great customer service and a knowledgeable staff goes a long way. So,please do something about Richard Osman.

When I brought our 2015 Acura in for a recall (air conditioner) repair, the service that I received from Richard and Ricardo was superb. The service staff was friendly and curt ions. When doing the 30 point inspection they discovered additional items to be changed. This was strongly recommended however they did not pressure me to change these parts. After they changed the parts they showed me the work that was done and reviewed it in comparison to the new parts used. This made me feel comfortable with my decision.

If you want an oil change they are fine. I have used them many times for that. If you however have any repair work, you will discover that this station can not handle the amount of cars it is servicing. I understand that this has much to do with 2 Acura closures in the past year, and that many people have no alternative. I guess I will have to reconsider Acura as my preferred luxury brand any longer.

I went in for Service and all the staff there was professional and courteous. The biggest negative is the condition of the lounge area which is atrocious especially for a prestige brand like Acura. I have heard that they have plans to renovate so I can give them the benefit of the doubt for now.

I have never had an experience where youre the service person. This is how I felt on several occasions, I have to constantly reach out to the reps when its supposed to be the other way around. You bring your car in and your back the next weekend with a new issue "What happen to the 153 point inspection check they brag about" I have come to the conclusion it does not exist. Its just poor service I will not buy another Acura because of these guys maybe the long Island branch is better but the man and women at this location needs to be re-train and taught how to deal with customers who buy there cars and need professional assistance. Everytime i call to check up on my car I get voice mails what kind of working business does that and when you leave a message don't expect a call back anytime soon. Stay away and try the valley stream branch I hope its not as bad as the Acura Nostrand ave service center.

My AC was not working so I had to make an appointment which I was unable to make over the phone.. I decided to go in without one.. Got there at 0730 pulled into the bay and got out of the vehicle turned it off and left the key on the dash.. The promptly came over took my info and tried to access the vehicle which to our surprise the door was locked.. She able to get the code and get it unlocked..The visit took 6 hours to complete to fix the AC and to do an oil change.. I did notice it was a very busy day but my service Rep was attentive and kept me informed as to where my vehicle was in the process.. I usually wait when I bring my vehicle in for service and six hours is a long time but having an attentive service Rep does make the experience less unpleasant..

Had an appointment for 1pm, 15 minute appointment to show that my Torque Converter failed under recall. I was told i need to wait 3-4 hours!!! Absolutely non-professional, i traveled from Staten Island, a phone call would be nice, i turned around and left. i also waited 3 hours last time to have a 20 min AT Update done to my car.... By the way, no one knows about this recall, its not listed anywhere (fishy?) if your car vibrates at 1200-1400 rpm that's the issue, Acura will replace it for free for 09-11 TL and MDX models. I always drove Infinitis and BMWs, their service locations were nice and accommodating, Acura however has a filthy waiting area, something that puts their brand to a much lower level.

I went in and got a test drives on both a 2015 TLX 6-cyl. and 4-cyl. My sales person, Darren King, was friendly, knowledgeable, and never exerted any pressure. I decided on the 6-cyl. with the tech package and Ewa Wojcick, the manager, gave me a great price. I picked up the car the next day. Kept great communication w/ us throughout the whole process, answered all of our million questions & most of all, they were honest and was NOT pushy. My 2010 Acura MDX has a serious oil consumption issues that Acura of Brooklyn has been unable and unwilling to fix. When I called Acura Corp customer relations and spoke with Kyle Green I was told that it is acceptable for Acura cars to lose 1 quart of oil per 1,000 miles. So therefore if you drive 4,000 miles and your car has no oil left????? that is normal???? The answer Acuras gives me is that the policy is that you can lose 1 quart of oil per 1,000 miles. I had an oil consumption test which proved there is an oil issue of 1 quart per one thousand miles, but they are unwilling to perform an oil consumption test at 3,000 or 4,000 miles (which would show there is virtually no oil left in the car (they also refuse to perform a pressure test or fix the car). How can it ever be normal that there is NO OIL LEFT in a car after 4,000 miles???? Why cant Acura fix my car which is still under warranty????........How can you treat your customers like this?????The Acura of Brooklyn dealership and Acura corp are unwilling to fix the oil consumption issue despite the fact my car is still under warranty.

I went to the Acura dealership a week ago, having in mind a specific car which was the final choice of a long search. I got there and got swayed by somebody whom took me across the street and tried to sell me a different brand after inflating the price of the car I wanted. I went home very disappointed and called to inquire about what had just happened. I spoke to Robbie, the manager, and he seemed pretty upset about it. He asked me to come back if possible, and worked out a good deal with me. The way I was treated that time was in stern contrast with my previous experience. Everybody worked so well together and I left that day with the car I wanted. Darren King, my sales person, really has the personality and skills for the job! Kudos to the financial team also, Mr Alex Vilbrun pulled all the necessary wires and made it happen. Eva Wojciki was quick to address anything that was a bother. I will definitely go back and will recommend friends and family happily.

I would never come back to Acura of Brooklyn or Plaza Auto Mall for any business and definitely would not recommend this dealership to anybody. It is also give any automaker a rally bad reputation to any of their current and future customers. I cannot express how extremely disappointed I am with the entire process at Acura of Brooklyn, where my car wasn't fixed or serviced properly and the Service department was trying to charge me $120 for nothing.I am the owner of Certified 2011 Acura MDX with additional Acura Care warranty. About few weeks ago my right rear door lock stopped working and I went to the nearest Acura Service department which is Acura of Brooklyn. I received a phone call from the Service Center and to my utmost surprise I was told that my repairs would not be covered by the warranty and furthermore a part of my warranty that covers electronic repairs would be voided. I was told that the previous owner which is Acura dealership installed the aftermarket remote start engine and the installation of the aftermarket products voids the warranty.I spoke with DCH Montrlair and they say that Acura of Brooklyn have no right not to fix my car without warranty, however, DCH told me that they would fix it under my rightful car warranty. Now, I have to drive to another state for hour and a half one way spend my money on multiple toll charges and do it within working week and loss my wages for the the day. Anyway, I would not think that if I would buy luxury car such as Acura MDX for $45K would make me go through this trouble.How is it possible that Acura dealership certifies the car with aftermarket products installed by the dealer plus pushing me to buy extra Acura Care warranty at the time of purchase if they knew that it voids the warranty on future repairs?

I made the best car buying decision on August 5, 2013. That morning, I was about to purchase a vehicle from a different dealership, but I was contacted by a woman named Jasmine for the second time; I had an appointment with the Toyota dealership, which Jasmine was calling from. But, before I could get to the Toyota dealer, I was talked into another deal by a pushy salesmam from Premier Ford, which made me miss my appointment, Jasmine recieved my application online a day before my shopping experience at Ford. The day after, I missed my appointment, Jasmine called me again I told her I wasn't interested in a Toyota anymore, I was really considering an Acura, which was my first desire. She told me, if I went into the Acura dealership located on Nostrand Avenue in Brooklyn NY, she can gurantee I will receive a better deal. Jasmine said I will call Lou (The Manager) and let him know that you are going to stop by. She was right! Thanks Jasmine! When I walked in the dealership, I was greated with respect and kindness. Lou asked Kyle Holmes to take care of me and to let him know what I decide. I had the best shopping experience ever! Kyle is an amazing salesman, he really understands the meaning of customer service. He did not pressure me into any decisions, he did not try to force me into any vehicle, he simply let me shop and answer my questions. Once he saw the vehicle I was interested in.... well, lets just say he nearly forced me to test drive it, and I did! The test drive was amazing! I left in a matter of hours with a 2013 Acura TL SH AWD with the Tech package. After checking out few dealerships in Brooklyn I already had an idea of how much i was going to pay for a new car. My next stop was Acura of Brooklyn where I had an excellent experience. I had an old acura mdx and was going to trade it in for a new model. Kyle was very helpful and gave me a few advices on the car as well as payments. I was undecided between RDX and MDX so Kyle made sure that I test drove both. Despite of having negative equity i was offered a great price and Asad was able to give me a good deal even though my credit wasnt excellent. Definitely will come back there again for my next car. These guys care about the customer and will make sure that you get the best deal.

If you are thinking of purchasing/leasing an Acura, you must request to work with Kyle. Think of every adjective associated with car salesmen- slimy, slick, untrustworthy, wears strange pinky rings etc. Now erase those words from your mind and you're left with Kyle. He is as honest and reasonable as they come and will work with you to get you the best deals. He is not pushy and does not rush you into making any decisions. You can tell that he truly loves Acuras and is selling a product that he actually believes in.My father and I were looking to lease two cars (one Toyota and one Acura) since Frankenstorm Sandy flooded our cars. We assumed that we we would work with two different sales people. This was not the case. My dad (who is disabled) and I never left Acura while Kyle took care of the Toyota deal since we already knew what we wanted. When I heard of a deal at Bay Ridge Toyota, Kyle marched over to Toyota and matched that price. Not only was this helpful because of our need for wheels, but because it made it exponentially easier for my father to not travel back and forth between buildings. Additionally, Kyle shepherded us through the process and even stayed an additional two hours after Acura closed while we completed Toyota paperwork.As for the Acura, he got us a loaded car for a very affordable monthly installment because our original choice became unavailable. You could not ask us for better service. In short, if you visit Acura of Brooklyn, GO SEE KYLE.

I bought a new 2012 Acura TSX Special Edition from this dealer. The car was delivered to me at almost 9:00pm at night. I told the sales person I could pick up the car tomorrow morning but he insisted on the same night I paid for it. The car was delivered at night in the middle of the street with cars passing by. He did not give me an opportunity to inspect the car, just told me to get in and let him teach me how to use it. This is not how you deliver a new car, not in the street, not at night. When I bought my new Lexus RX350, they had the car a room where new cars are given to customers, they tell you the inspect the car prior to getting in for the tutorial.Upon not feeling safe in the street, I turned down the tutorial and decided to go home. The following day after coming home from work, I noticed two dents and scratches on my rear bumper. My first thought was that someone at work bumped into me in the parking lot. The next day I looked at all the security footage from work for Thursday. I could not see any car bumping into mine. I then decided to go out to the parking lot and measure the damage of my car and see if it would match up with anyone's car bumper. I could not find any. I have a private driveway at home so it was not parked in the street. I only drive this car to and from work. The only possible way it could have been damage now was that it was delivered to me in this state. I called them back and they claim that they go through an inspection and multiple people sign off on this. But I was never given the chance to even inspect the car. The dealership did contact me and still claims that the damage was not their fault after the fact that the car is delivered. They told me to bring the car in and they would estimate the damage cost but not cover it however for my troubles they will give me a free oil change. An oil change for a new car, why would I need that? Do you put used oil in new cars too, so they come back and give you more business? I do not recommend this dealer to anyone at all. The sales person was extremely rude and cocky. He acted like he was always right and I was always wrong. In the end, I don't mind the damage, it was minor and it's the bumper it will be damaged eventually. I am more upset about the delivery process and the treatment I was given. Acura is a great car but I would suggest getting it from another dealership. You might even get better service from a used car dealership.

The sales person (Neal Elder) *helped* us - as opposed to giving us the high-pressure sales pitch.Then when we got to the finance manager (Asad Basha), I thought "UH OH, here's where the pressure will come in" --- but not at all...Asad was the epitome of professionalism and courtesy. To start things off, my name is Ashley, I'm 20 years old, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new Acura ILX.On September 12th 2012, I decided to go car shopping with plans on leasing a new car.Now, To be honest with you I wasn't to sure what I wanted in a car, I just wanted something that didn't require me having to spend an arm and a leg on gas. My car at the time was a '99 Toyota Corolla, I was kind of leaning towards getting a new Toyota or Honda but didn't really like how they looked.Around 6pm that same day my girlfriends and I decided to stop by the auto mall on Nostrand. While walking up the block headed toward Honda a salesperson stopped us and asked if we were looking to buy a car. We told him yes, he then introduced himself to us as Neal and told us that he'd show us around. Neal first lead us inside of the Acura show room, I told him that I came to look for a Honda and wasn't very familiar with Acura. He explained to me that Honda made Acura and showed me the Acura ILX. I fell in love with the ILX, but Neal insisted on taking me to the Honda, Hyundai and Toyota showrooms just so I can get a feel of the other cars. After showing us around, Neal sat us down at his desk ( while the lovely greeters offered us bottles of water) and was able to answer all of my questions I had about becoming a Lessee. I told him that I'd go home to think about it and be back.About 2 days later I went back to the dealership to take a second look at the Acura ILX, This time Neal wasn't there so Rexdie assisted me a little and introduced me to Asad. I explained to Asad and Rexdie that I stopped by about two days prior and wanted the Acura ILX Neal showed me. Right away Rexdie took me on a test drive. When I came back from the test drive, I told Asad that I wanted to do a one pay lease because I didn't want to worry about monthly payments. He was able to do a credit check on me and informed me that I needed my mother to sign the contract as well.On September 18th I went back to the dealership, this time with my mother. Asad thoroughly explained to my mother, who was iffy about co-signing, and I the terms & conditions of the leasing contract. He also gave us the suggestion of not doing a one pay lease but to open up another bank account to keep my money in and schedule it to send payments monthly. Asad told me that doing that would be a better way to help shoot up my credit score. After deciding to do what Asad suggested, I immediately gave him a deposit for the ILX.The next day, I came back with my mother to finish signing the papers needed and to pick up my new car. I was so excited, my car was clean with a full gas tank. Before I drove off, Neal helped me set up the bluetooth, personalize the sound system and showed me how to use the other features in my new car.Overall, My experience at Acura of Brooklyn was great. At first I was scared that no one would take me seriously but they were all so nice. No one there made me feel uncomfortable. Everyone introduced themselves to me and whenever I came back they would wave and say hello. I would definitely recommend Acura of Brooklyn to anyone interested in buying a car. I walked into the dealership and the first friendly face that approached me was Asad Basha. Before looking into any of the cars in the show room he asked me what kind of car I currently drive. After a long discussion he made me test drive several diffent cars as well as trucks (after finding out my previous car was a truck). The first car he put me in was a MDX with Neil for a test drive. That was the first car I test drove that day and in fact the car I chose! Asad went through the different options of programs, different features and explained everything in it's entirity. He was extremely knowledgeable in the product line. He made me feel very comfortable signing for the car of dreams since he explained everything from top to bottom. When returning to pick up my car he had me sit down with someone to help me fully understand how to use everything inside the car. Everyone of the salesmen had a lot of patience. I absolutely love my car and would recommend this dealership in a heartbeat. This was the best investment I have ever made that would not have been possible without the assistance of Asad.

When I first walked into Acura dealership, I went in with my girlfriend to purchase a car for her, but at the door i was approached by the salesman Neal and he made us feel welcome and comfortable at all times. Neal took care of us so well i could not pass on the deal that he was offering! He even bought in his business manager Asad to show me that nothing he was doing was underhanded and Asad even verified the numbers right in front of me. I mean where do you really find CAR SALESMAN that are going to actually take the time and sit down with you and go through your offer and show you where every cent of your money is going! Raj Paul and Ewa were great in facilitating the entire deal and made the process such a breeze. Never once did they pressure me to take any deal.Asad gave me an initial price out of my budget the first try - and I only negotiated once to get it to the fair price I knew based on what others have paid in the area and by looking at the MF and Residual values, etc. This is my second leased car this year that I got from Plaza Auto Mall. My experience with this dealership was nothing short of fantastic. The salesperson I dealt with, Peyton Rowe, was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, courteous and was able to answer all of my questions. I truly felt that he was working with me to get the best possible deal, rather than working against me. He took the time to make sure we understood the deal, understood what we were getting, and made sure we were prepared to complete the transaction a few days after our initial meeting. His follow up calls and emails to me to confirm that we had all the requisite paperwork were very professional, and he stayed on top of our transaction so that when we went to finish the deal, sign the paperwork, and take delivery of the car, everything was ready for us. He was absolutely a pleasure to deal with. Which leads me to my dealings with Asad Basha, the Finance Manager. Asad was extremely knowledgeable and overly accommodating to us. When a small hiccup in the transaction arose, he was quick to come up with a resolution to the matter. Asad explained to us in great detail the numbers behind our finance transaction, how he arrived at those numbers, what they actually meant, and made sure that before we signed anything, we had a full and complete understanding of the paperwork. There were no hidden numbers, no gimmicks, and nothing that would make me even remotely question his honesty. I have dealt with a number of dealerships in the past, having purchased a number of vehicles either personally or with family, and this was by far the easiest, most straightforward, and honest car transaction I have ever been involved with. I was truly and completely satisfied with how they handled my purchase. I've had my vehicle for roughly 24 hours and I've already sung the praises of Acura of Brooklyn to every single one of my co-workers in my office. I would give my highest recommendation of Acura of Brooklyn, and more specifically of Peyton and Asad, in a heartbeat.

Thanks to Carlos, I walked in feeling comfortable and happy I went to Acura of Brooklyn. He not only made me an offer I couldn't refuse , but worked with me to make sure I was treated with respect and without his help, I would have went to another dealership or ended my lease. Many times car salesman are pushy and only concerned about themselves...with Carlos specifically , it was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a salesman period. The worst dealership ever. They will rip you off once they find out you did not do your research. I had to go there 3 times to get my quote, on the 3rd time they offered me a $699/month lease on a 2012 Acura TL. That's ridiculous. Bought the same car from Curry Acura for $550/month. Sales rep's name is Vadim. Would not recommend to my worst enemies not even talking about friends or family.

I had visited the Acura of Brooklyn dealership to lease a new RDX. It was the best car purchasing experience I ever had. I only dealt with Vadim, my sales consultant, and Asad, the finance manager. Actually, I spoke as well with Ms. Wojcik and Mr. Horruitiner, the general manager, on and off while in the showroom. Just chatting, really. The atmosphere was very low key, extremely friendly and totally professional. I wound up spending over an hour more than was necessary to complete the purchase, talking, laughing...really, it was like being at a social gathering rather than the anxiety-producing gauntlet that buying a car has been in the past. I was never rushed. The negotiation was transparent, extremely reasonable and truly accommodating. When I drove away in my new car, I couldn't believe how pleasant the experience had been. Because I had researched the model I was interested in, I knew beforehand what I should pay for it and at what point I would walk out, car-less. The details were agreed to very quickly. The car was ready on time, prepared as promised, explained and demonstrated. If I watched the process from across the showroom, I would have bet the whole thing was staged. It was a dealership you might see in a commercial. But they were for real. What a pleasure!

My experience working with Kai and Asad was great one. Kai understood my budget demand and assisted me by discussing the different options. Kai made my final process quick and easy. I want to start from saying "million thank you" to all sales people who been servicing me that day. They actually made my day. I entered dealership Acura of Brooklyn expecting gentle pressure from salespersons and was shocked when received very intelligent and patient assistance in leasing my new Acura TSX. I came to dealership with my "homework" - quote with very good numbers from the other dealer. And sales people from Acura of Brooklyn accomplished to beat that price. Mr. Peyton worked very hard helping to meet all my goals: he found that my old Honda Accord had equity after tree years of lease and that helped to reduce monthly payment of new Acura TSX. Mr. Asad Basha explained me all benefits of luxury lease and found the way to keep the same deal under 36 versus 39 month lease. Mr. Carlos Horruitiner, as a general manager did everything to make me happy that day.I will definitely recommend that dealership to all my friends and will also seriously consider them for the future lease or financing.

I walked into "Acura of Brooklyn" with little hopes of believing that I could walk out driving a brand, new vehicle. Well, I was absolutely wrong because the following employees worked extremely hard to make affordable the car of my dreams, the "ACURA TL!" Vadim, Asad, and Andrew were extremely professional and courteous. Also, friendly and sincere. Even before I reached my decision, they treated me as highly valued customer. They were highly committed to helping me afford a vehicle that fell within my budget. Even when I was about to give up (due to fear that it would be too costly), they refused to allow me to walk away empty-handed. The ACURA TL is presently my third car, however, my first luxury vehicle. Throughout all of my previous car shopping experiences, I've never received such ROYAL TREATMENT. First and foremost, Luis was very professional in appearance, tact was pristine. I felt comfortable the minute I walked in. He didn't pressure me into anything. He spoke to me about the vehicle once I sat inside of it. His knowledge on the merchandise was second to none. Acura offered more on my trade than any other dealer, and they gave me a great deal on a new TSX sport package. i went to get or look at the new civic, but the lease was only $75 more than TSX. CIVIC looks great and a little but milage, but you get so much more value on the TSX. i drove to brooklyn-washington DC and i getting easy 35 miles a gallon. it only took less 3/4 of tank of gas.

As soon as i arrived at the dealership i was greeted very nicely. Vadim did work with me. However i did feel we could of worked on the price a little better. I was just happy having a reliable car cause i have 2 kids to take care of.. with that being said Vadim did try to get the price i was looking for but his superior hassled with me for a couple thousand dollars which i thought was petty. And being i spent over $40,000 on a vehicle and just to recieve all season mats was very poor. I should have gotten other things like a couple free oil changes in the future a free tune up..among other things..etc. But the service was good.

I've been in the market for a new or used car for about 3 months now, since September 2011. I have visited many dealerships including some in NJ, CT, and NY. In my search, I found most dealership's staff often lacked knowledge of the vehicles, seem uninterested, or were very very pushy. The ambiance was often very sterile and uninviting. Acura of Brooklyn was different. The minute you enter the showroom you have everyone's attention. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful - I have to say, you are treated like family. I checked many of their vehicles and asked Jose and Asad lots of questions that were answered to my satisfaction. I test drove a couple of vehicles and found the experience enjoyable. I finally bought my dream car. I want to thank the Acura of Brooklyn dealership and their staff (special thanks to Asad & Jose) for making my car buying experience a stress less and a confident one. Stay away from this dealership!!!We got a letter from them offering incentives to the current Acura owners, if we buy a car before October 31. When we came in, we did not get any attention for the first 5-10 minutes, even though all sales people and managers were around. Then the manager approached us saying that he does not know much about the cars .. ah!? hello? .. and he does not have any available sales people right now. We were waiting and waiting and waiting and then, after 40 minutes of waiting, when we approached the manager again, he said that he was not sure how much longer we would need to wait as he still did not have any available sales people and we needed to make an appointment in advance. The same day we went to 3 other dealerships in Brooklyn where we got a personal attention and assigned salesperson from the minute we walked in.I will never come back to this Acura dealership. Nothing against Acura, as we went to the other Acura dealerships in the past and had a great experience, but this dealership just needs to be closed. Otherwise it merely badly reflects on Acura's brand.

HORRIBLE, DISGUSTING, AND FRAUDULENT. EVERYTHING YOU EXPECT FROM A STEREOTYPICAL CAR DEALER. From the first minute we talked to the sales person, they tried to take advantange of us. They tried to sell us something we didn't want, at a price we couldn't afford, and with financing that was outrageously high. They claimed they didn't have the vehicle we wanted in the color we wanted, so they tried to sell us a base model in a different color (which also happened to be a floor model), but will every useless accessory you can imagine. And at a price that was more than $5000 out of our price range. They kept dodging our question when we tried to negotiate and nail down the price of the vehicle, and instead tried to talk to us about monthly payments. We didn't get a price from them until 2 days later. They called our insurance company and tried to get us to sign over our insurance to the new car before we finalized the deal, before we even worked out a price on the vehicle. When we finally had enough and decided to walk away from this deal, they lowered the price of the vehicle to the base price, which is still more than we wanted to pay. On top of that, they underbid every other dealer we spoke to on our trade-in, so it didn't even seem worthwhile to trade-in. Not once did the salesman or business manager call me to follow-up on our conversations. I had to call them and deal with voicemail messages, and try repeatedly throughout my workday in hopes of getting a hold of one of them. It wasn't until we were closing on a car with another dealer that the manager told us he can get what we want and undersell the competition. If he would have done that in the first place and given us a good deal rather than put us through the ringer for 3 days, they might have closed on this deal. There was no respect, no courtesy, no customer service to speak of whatsoever.

This dealer and the rep seem very friendly at first. Before you sign any documents with this dealer, you must carefully read through everything and do not hesitate to walk out if you find anything contrary. The lease term was changed from 36 months to 39 months (before we signed the documents) so that was corrected. The first month lease payment was suppose to be waived which it did not. The manager, Randy, claimed he did take it off from the sale price but did not inform us until I questioned where later where was the discount (after we signed the documents and took the car home for 1 day). The next day, I called the sales agent Eva and she said she will call us back to work out the issues and did not.

I caught a flat Saturday and made an appointment yesterday w/ Acura of Brooklyn to get it replaced. I called in the morning, told them my situation and they put me through to the parts department to confirm they had the tire in stock. The parts dept had 3 tires, so I told them I needed one and asked for an appt later in the day to get it installed. They said fine and put me through to the service dept to make an appt later that day. So I had a 1:15 appointment to get my tire replaced; I get to the appt on time and hand over my car - they drive it into the garage. It takes the service rep about 15 minutes to get to me - not great, but not too bad. I tell him my story, give him my warranty paperwork and he says he's going to copy my paperwork and get me taken care of.Fast forward to 2:15 - I'm there for a quick tire replacement, and I've already been there an hour. I find the service rep, who forgot my name or why I'm there so I had to remind him. He looks through some papers, finds my paperwork, hands it to another guy and walks away. The other guy looks through my paperwork, gives me a condescending look and asks "so, what'd you hit?" - I say "excuse me?" he repeats the question - I tell him I was driving, heard a pop and caught a flat - I didnt' think this was that unusual. This guy hands my paperwork to a third guy behind a desk in the parts department and walks away. The parts guy then tells me that the tire is not in stock and it'll be at least 2-3 days before they get it. I was mad and told them that I called ahead and made sure it was in stock when I made my appointment and demanded to speak to a manager. The manager turned out to be the guy who asked me what I hit - class act - and I asked him why they were wasting my time, telling me to come in to replace a tire with one they didn't have in stock. And then ignoring me for over an hour and me having to find them just so they tell me that they don't have the tire and they can't help me.He responded by telling me that I'm lying - I was being helped when he walked by and he took my paperwork immediately. I told him that didnt happen until I sought the guy out after being ignored for over an hour. His response was that they have a lot of customers and its busy. So it's ok to ignore your customers, make them wait, be unpleasant because it's a busy day? Now I will admit I wasn't terribly nice to them but I didn't raise my voice, curse, threaten or anything that can be considered inappropriate. I made it clear that it was unacceptable and ridiculous and they were wasting my time. The manager even mocked me repeating "we're wasting YOUR time? We're wasting YOUR time?" When they told me they didn't have the tire and must have sold it. I asked to see their inventory list to make sure I wasnt being lied to - the manager scoffed and asked "what are you - the comptroller?" and walked away. I told him I needed to have my car fixed. His response- this isn't the only dealership you can have this taken care of in. We'll pull your car up to the front.I didn't understand... I called, confirmed the tire was in stock and made an appointment. I took time off from work to take care of this. I need to fix my car so I can drive it. And I pay a lot of money each month for my lease. It appears that nobody in that dealership cares.Some background: I'm leasing an Acura tsx, and during my lease signing I opted for a $500 tire replacement warranty that will replace any tire if I get a flat, blowout, hit a curb - anything that happens during driving basically. I know these "deals" are usually bad ones, but I previously had an Acura and had to replace a couple of the tires, at 400 a pop so it seemed like a decent investment. However, the caveat is that I need to get my flats fixed at the dealer, and can't just go to the local flat fix place because if I get a blowout or something later, the warranty may not cover it.I actually had some terrible experiences with Paragon Acura (They held my car for over 5 weeks, feeding me lies about my parts coming in the next day) and with Acura of Manhattan - they tried to charge me for warranty work - my headlight went out and they tried to charge me for the hour of labor because they had to remove some parts to get to it. Of course when they installed it was pointing up at a sharp angle; had to get it fixed at a friend's shop. One note - the Acura dealerships where I got my car and the previous one are great - Lehigh Valley and DCH Montclair. Even Springfield Acura is great but unfortunately I now work in Brooklyn and spend a lot of time there so when things go wrong with my car I have to take it to the closest dealer.I need to get my tire fixed so I'm driving over an hour to Springfield Acura to take care of this. I made an appointment with them and made sure they have the tire and they claim they will hold it for me. I just want to get this done and over.. and I can't wait for my lease to end...I wanted some advice about what I should do and to let people know how unprofessional this dealership is and that I am absolutely never going to buy an Acura again because of the service I got from this dealership and other ones. I wrote a couple letters to the Acura main office, to Honda, to the dealership. I called and complained to both and as I never got a response, apology or anything.So what do I do? Calling doesn't help, writing doesn't help.

Ewa is just the best she has done a great job selling the car ,explaining to me all options in financing , dealing with registration, Insurance, the return of my old Acura, she acts professionally and dose her job with a smile . Over all a great experience. I have dealt over the years with many car dealers and i can say they earned themselves that reputation for disappointment , this is the first time in many years i was completely satisfied .

The salesperson Eva Wojcicki is absolutely the best I have ever dealt with! I have leased BMWs, Nissan, Honda, GM and Ford. I leased my first Acura TL in 2004 from Eva and liked it so much that I kept it after the lease. Finally went back and got another Acura TL from Eva in 2009. Both times, she made it easy for me. Very straight-forward and no problems. She is honest, hard-working and follows through on what she says. I did my price homework beforehand and knew what I wanted. She found the cars and got them for me right away, and gave me a better price than anywhere else I could find. She's got a good sense of humor and is fun, but knows her stuff and is sharp. She explained everything about the car and made sure everything was perfect. Best car salesperson I've ever seen.As for the cars, I never had any problem with either of the Acura TLs. They're great to drive and the stereo is super. I'm sticking with Acuras.

Dealership sent me a mailer with coupons. So I brought my car in for oil change with 15,000 miles and dealership tried to sell me over $1200.00 worth of useless services.Additionally, when I got my car, there was smoke coming out from under the bonnet. The mechanic spilled oil on the manifold. The washer fluid was not filled and the tire pressure light was on. The service manager said my car needed a lot of maintenance. I checked the service manual and a transmission service and brakes are not due at this time. This place is a RIP OFF!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!

Was looking to purchase a new MDX. I contacted the internet new car department with my inquiry. I was contacted by Kian and Anthony. First they did not have the model I wanted in the color I wanted with the options I wanted. I asked them if they could located the vehicle. They tried tp pressure me into buying what they had in stock saying..."It's only a car what's important is quality under the hood-not what the car looks like outside." Finally, they told me they could order what I wanted but it would take up to 8 weeks. I thought their answers were callous and unreasonable, so I shopped elsewhere. I found Park Avenue Acura in Maywood NJ. They had the car I wanted and a price nearly $2,000.00 lower than what Kian quoted. Moreover, after I bought the car Plaza kept contacting me to purchase a car after I informed them that I already purchased a new vehicle. It seems there is a gross lack of communication in this dealership. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing

Me and my wife went to the dealership to inquire about buying an Acura MDX from this dealership. From the onset we were met with nothing but friendliness and help from the staff which made us very comfortable about choosing this dealership to purchase our new car. From a woman named Tranasia who introduced us to a salesman named Mikhail who took the time out to explain and answer all our questions (and my wife had many questions to ask) and was very patient with us the whole time. We also felt very comfortable with a man named Verdell who is in the financing department because he also had a lot of patience with us and got us the best deal possible which resulted in us purchasing the Acura MDX. We are very satisfied with the overall assistance this company provided us and we recommend this company to other people interested in purchasing a new vehicle.

I brought my car to this dealership in good faith after my 2006 Acura RSX Type S A-Spec was stolen & recovered. Since my vehicle was in SHOWCAR condition it made sense to bring the car back to ACURA for repairs. However, to my absolute shock and horror, my 2006, showcar was butchered mercilessly on two repair attempts and nearly 10 weeks in their possession. Parts are missing or damaged. Many of the cars functions do not operate as designed. Moreover, after a new dashboard was installed twice (they damaged the first dashboard and shifter knob on the first attempt), the car now has a rattle from behind the dashboard that is audible over the radio.The service manager, Nate, is undoubtedly one of the most obnoxious and arrogant charachters you will ever come into contact. He tried selling me an old line "The alarm caused the problem." After the dashboard was installed, they could not start the car. That is strange since for two years the alarm functioned flawlessly and without incident. Moreover, Plaza Automall bodyshop drove the car for 17 miles between Plaza and MG & Sons Bodyshop at 9313 Ditmas Avenue (where the body work was completed or more accurately...BUTCHERED). These people are not reputable, honorable or trustworthy. Had I known back then what I know now...I never would have let them touch my car. Come to think of it... I would not trust these people with a rotten cigar.

Very unpleasant experience.Did not listen to clients needs on a lease to fit budget. Mostly focused on making a commission.when you were not ready to sign after test drive ,his remark "than why have you wasted my time"I would check with another dealership before signing anything with these guys.

I filled out an internet quote form and was contacted the next day by a woman named Roxanne. Over the phone conversation we had discussed possibly purchasing a new 2008 MDX. The contents of the conversation was that the price can be negotiated with accessories included at no extra charge. I had asked her to check inventory and was told no problem we have you car in stock. So I made an appointment to go in and discuss some more. Upon arriving, Roxanne was not there. I was helped by another salesman. The price of the vehicle was not the price Roxanne had quoted and all the accessories cannot be free. We had printed out a couple from there website for a deduction of $500 which we brought with us and showed it to them and they would not honor it. The "We have all the cars in stock" is of course not true and they do not have the car there. We asked to see Roxanne and told them Roxanne had promised us the price but was told she only responds to internet inquires and does not know anything, so everything she said is not true. Overall, this dealership lies threw their teeth and is extremely rude and not nice at all. I do not recommend anyone going to this dealer because they will say anything to get you in and the story changes. They won't even honor a coupon from there own website. I can't beleive they would say something like, "Roxanne doens't know anything and everything she saids is not true". Shouldn't a dealership take responsiblity for an employees words?

I was tentative about the purchase of a new car. I am a single mother and have heard horror story after horor story about the kind of experience to expect at auto dealers. Well, was I pleasantly surprised. I called in off an ad I saw in the Daily News and received answers to the questions I had from a friendly young lady; can't remember her name. I then came in and dealt with a older salesperson who was courteous and made sure that I was comfortable in the vehicle before proceeding. Well, it's now 2 months later and I am so happy with my new TSX. My kids love the vehicle and we are so happy that the horror stories I heard were not true...in this case.
