Charlie S. was the sales man that helped me purchase a car. As soon as I waked in he greeted me with a smile. Charlie didn't try to pressure me into buying a car like most salesmen do. I have been an Acura owner since 1999. After a rocky start with other service advisors, I was lucky enough to begin working with Doug. I have NEVER regretted it. He always ensures I'm taken care of and gives me honest answers. Car repairs can be a stressful situation to navigate. It helps knowing that I have an advisor who I can trust to steer me in the right direction (pun acknowledged). There are other dealerships that I could use, but I will ALWAYS go where Doug Peng is. The service is just too great to top. If he ever retires or leaves the industry, I'm going to start riding a bike!

I was experiencing an annoying noise in the rear suspension of my RDX and emailed my service advisor Doug Peng. He responded immediately to my email and my appointment was set for the next day. They road tested the car to determine the issue. Doug Peng had me in and out in no time. I've owned an Acura product for 16 years and Doug Peng is the #1 reason I keep coming back to Acura. Living in Cave Creek there are closer Acura dealers but I drive the extra miles to get the reliable honest service from Doug Peng.

Last week, I was driving to work and noticed the brakes on my 2012 TSX started grinding and making odd noise as I braked on the freeway in rush hour traffic. I emailed my Service Advisor, Doug Peng, immediately. He responded back almost as quickly as I hit send on my email asking me if I can bring my car in NOW. As soon as I got to the dealership, Doug greeted me outside. He asked me if I needed a loaner car while they looked at my car. Yes, please! :) Within 5 minutes, he knew it was my front brakes. He gave me a loaner car overnight while they replaced my brakes. I was in and out of the dealership within 20 minutes! My son used my car to take to Homecoming the next day so I was happy that my car had new brakes and my son would be safe. I have owned several Acuras and have worked with Doug Peng for several years. He is the #1 reason why I have to continue to buy an Acura because I don't think I could work with anyone else!

On Sunday, Oct.2nd, I was on my way back from Casa Grande and a yellow Check Systems light came on with a red battery light on my 2012 Acura TL. I drove directly to Acura of Tempe. Even though service department was closed, one of the salesmen, Joe, took the time to help. It was recommended that I leave my car overnight to be checked on Monday. Acura of Tempe gave us a safe place to wait in their lounge, for over an hour, (much better than the side of the road) and brought out cookies, chips, fruit, and soda for my kids. On Monday, Brandon worked to get my car looked at and repaired. As I had the bumper to bumper protection plan (MPP) for a $700 repair I only had to pay the $100 deductible. Brandon was responsive and helpful during the repair process and called MPP for payment. Again when I came to get the car every employee was courteous.Thank you Acura of Tempe for a great experience! I will be back when I need assistance again.

My fiance and I were in the market for a used Nissan Pathfinder and located one just recently acquired by Acura of Tempe. I paid three separate visits to the dealership and dealt with three different sellers. In honestly, I have nothing but good things to say about the sellers. They were friendly, open to answering questions, and were all easy to deal with. During our sales experience we also dealt with Bob in Finance and the general sales manager Steve. Again, I have nothing but good things to say about them. From a pricing perspective the truck was priced above what KBB indicated to be the going price for a vehicle with that age, options, and mileage. The sales manager, Steve, hemmed and hawed about the pricing but ultimately was willing to bring the price in line with what we were willing to spend. The transaction itself had some quirks, non-functional signature board, but all in all it was a decent experience.The challenge we ran into, however, was related to service and the correction of some "safety" issues with the truck. When we completed the transaction the dealer filled out a "we owe" document which listed several items that needed to be corrected. After driving the vehicle off the lot we identified two others. The dealership was notified of these issues in advance of our service appointment and we were instructed to have the service department take a look at them.We took the vehicle to the dealership at the appointed time and picked up a loaner vehicle. The service department used car tech apparently got busy that day and was unable to work on the vehicle. When we came by the dealership the next day to pick up the vehicle, the vehicle was sitting in the drive waiting for us. Of the four items listed, none apparently were fixed. The first item, a side view mirror motor was not engaging the mirror and required us to push in the mirror whenever we wanted to adjust the mirror. The tech noted on the service ticket that the motor worked fine. The second item was the drivers seat position motor which made a grinding sound when you move the seat forward or backward. Apparently the tech applied some lubricant to the motor and/or seat tracks. The motor continues to make the same grinding noise. The third issue was an intermittent third brake light. Again the tech noted in the service ticket that the light worked fine. The last and most concerning item related to a MIL indicator that came onto the truck a couple of days after picking it up. The CEL code, P0463, relates to a known issue with the fuel level sensor on the fuel pump. When the code displays the fuel gauge becomes erratic and displays an invalid fuel level.For this fourth item, I do not recall seeing anything specific to it noted on the service ticket. When we first notified the service tech, we let him know that there was both a recall and a TSB issued by Nissan for the issue. We indicated to the service writer that the truck did not qualify for the recall but was covered under the TSB. We also provided the service writer with a copy of the TSB documentation at the time the vehicle was dropped off. When asked the service writer repeated basically what we told him regarding the vehicle not being eligible for the recall and then handed us back the """TSB""" paperwork that we provided him a day earlier. He indicated that he spoke to his service manager who indicated that they were not equipped to perform this type of maintenance on the vehicle. Rather than letting us know of this in advance so we could make other arrangements to getting the sensor replaced, the service writer mentioned it only when we came by to pick up the Pathfinder. As such we had no option but to continue driving the vehicle, with a faulty fuel level sensor, until we could take it to a different repair facility to get the fuel level sensor replaced.Since I believe that Honda/Acura mechanics have similar skill sets to Nissan mechanics, my assumption is that their service department pushed back on these issues because they did not have ready access to repair parts; or that they were instructed to keep repair costs minimal. Is this the reason why? We'll likely never know. What's sad is that this service experience had a negative impact on our overall experience with Acura of Tempe. What started as a good customer experience ended as a rather lackluster one.

Will not be back, very rude service department! I had a small issue where my visor popped out of its socket. I called Acura of Tempe and after explaining the issue was told to bring it in. I took time away from work to take care of what I know is a 3-minute fix. I sat in the service lane for over 5 minutes waiting for someone to come greet me. No one came.After walking in the sliding doors, I was shocked to see a slow department with 4 service advisors glued to their computers and paperwork. None of them were tied up on the phone or with customers. This is very typical, having experienced this on my other visits. Even after walking in no one greeted me! I walked over to one of the service advisors named Dana and after standing right outside of her desk awkwardly, I finally interrupted her and said, "I'm so and so and I believe I spoke with you regarding my visor." A few things really upset me about our interaction. First, she didn't even say "Hi Sir, please have a seat." Her first response was "We're all booked until next week." Second, she didn't even ask me if it was okay to schedule an appointment. There was a clear sense of irritation and shortness.I'm appalled by how this department is being run. Basic customer service has somehow been forgotten in your service department. I have two Acura's, a TLX on lease and an RDX owned. People like Dana don't realize that these small interactions and service visits keep people like me coming back to your dealership for future vehicle purchases. I'll be making the longer drive to Peoria in September.

We needed to replace our larger 7 passenger SUV (Volvo) with a smaller vehicle, now that the kids are getting older. We didn't have a strong preference, just that we wanted a smaller cross over. So we set out and visited five dealers and drove five different cars.The experience at Acura of Tempe was the best of the bunch. The salesperson was friendly and knowledgeable and kept the deal going, without pushing. Never did we feel pressure nor did we feel that we were being pushed towards things we didn't want. Once we decided we wanted that car, the Acura RDX, we had reasonable negotiations that resulted in a lease arrangement that we were happy with.All of this was done via email. I had a busy week so it worked really well for me.The actual transaction went just as well, and the salesperson's insight into the vehicle has already been helpful. At other dealers we felt uncomfortable, looked down on, or we felt like we were bothering the salesperson. Non of that here.

While traveling through Tempe (on our way home to Denver) our MDX developed a rattle near the left front wheel. We stopped at Acura of Tempe where Dana Hornung handled our unscheduled stop in a very professional, courteous and responsive manner. She had the car checked with the result that it was a strut bushing issue which could wait til our return home to have fixed. I fully expected to pay for the diagnosis but was told there was no charge. To me this goes "above and beyond". We have owned Acuras for the last 20 years and dealing with Dana continues our experience of having good dependable and trustworthy service by Acura's dealers. I brought my car for a routine maintenance. I scheduled the appointment the night before on their web site -- there was a lot of time options available, and I was able to chose the best fitting my busy schedule. I requested a shuttle transportation to work. When I arrived, a service person was waiting to take my car and sending me to the agent inside for completing the paperwork. I was immediately seen with the pre-printed documents outlining the recommended service ans a brief review of my last service at the dealership. We quickly discussed what I would need this time and which services have been done previously or would be done externally (like wheel rotation at Costco). I signed the papers and was ready to go. it did not take more than 5 min. Outside the shuttle driver was waiting with the door open, and in no time was was on my way back to work. Car pickup was very similar. practially no waiting time whatsoever. This is an example of exceptional operations and customer service. Way to go, Acura of Tempe!

recently had to have my battery replaced at Acura of Tempe....was very disappointed that they did not warranty he battery as it was an Acura battery that was just replaced in October.....they gave me some talk that the warranty goes back to the original change out that happened in 2010......didn't make sense to me..but what could i do other than to have it swapped and go on my way.......

I acquired my previous 4 Acuras from Doug Randall, Acura of Peoria. Doug was great. However, I thought that Doug had retired and was therefore playing the field. I happened to find the 2016 MDX that I wanted online and responded to the Tempe Acura website. I was soon contacted by Thomas Wojcik. Tom was knowledgeable, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. I can honestly say that I look forward to acquiring my next 4 Acuras from Mr. Wojcik. The financing seems to be the most tiring of the deal for me. Not this time. Virginia Trumbull treated me like a good friend. From the moment we were introduced I felt at ease and welcomed. And, with Ms. Trumbulls excellent finance knowledge, I felt I was in good hands. This acquisition was one of the easiest I have ever experienced, and definitely the most enjoyable. To make the experience complete, Abel Talbo in the Service Dept., should receive kudos for keeping me with the Acura brand. I was seriously contemplating going with a Volvo XC90. My biggest concern was the service of said vehicle. My past experience with Mr. Talbo at Tempe Acura was my deciding factor to stay with the Acura brand. I look forward to continuing this relationship. The team at Tempe Acura, most importantly Thomas Wojcik, Virginia Trumbull, and Abel Talbo, is not only an asset to Tempe Acura, but the Acura Corporation as a whole.

Last year I found out that Doug had moved to Acura of Tempe and he invited me to bring my 2014 Honda Odyssey to Acura of Tempe for service. I now take my Odyssey to Doug for service required because of my respect for Doug. I was sent a maintenance special for 7500 mile service $65.95. Tempe Acura knows what type of car I have which is how I got on this mailing list. When I made the appt. they said it would be $35 more because of the type of oil they have to use on my car. That is false advertising in my mind. They told me it would take 1.5 hours, I requested a loaner car and was told they don't do that for quick services. When I purchased the car I was told I would get a loaner when it was in for service, again false advertising.

I've bought many new cars in my lifetime and this was the easiest, most honest experience I've had.Post purchase I've discovered you cannot find a better service department to take care of your new car or SUV - Platinum class people and service. There are many plces I can take my TL for service or repair but I choose to drive 50 miles round trip to Acura of Tempe.

To say that this dealership goes out its way is an understatement.Im from out of state in the Phoenix area on business. Im driving down the freeway on a Sunday afternoon and all of a sudden my 2002 Acura starts making a very unusual noise. I happen to see the Acura of Tempe sign and pull my car into the dealership. I know that the service department will be closed, but at least I can leave my car there for Monday. The receptionist is super helpful in showing me how to fill out the paperwork for service and is in the process of helping me get a cab/rental car.The Sales Manager, Steve Rotonda comes over and asks what is happening. I tell him the issue and he says he used to be a technician and thinks he knows what the problem is. He crawls under the car, says all he needs is a screwdriver and he corrects the issue on the spot. No charge!For the Sales Manager to go out of his way to help me out like this is amazing.

He answered all my questions and concerns, and that day, I bought my Acura ILX 2013 which I named BellaNova. BellaNova and I were not forgotten by Acura of Tempe. They called to check to see how I was enjoying my new car, and they provided information about getting in contact with Abel Talbo for any vehicle issues and/or maintenance service. Abel ROCKS! He is such a friendly and understanding person. He keeps me in check when it comes to maintenance service for BellaNova. Every time I have serviced my Acura MDX at this dealership, it has been a great experience. My advisor Todd is a first rate guy, extremely honest and upfront. He always tells me what needs service and then allows me to decide how I want to go. The technicians are very good and I never had any problems after service. The service department in general follows through and makes sure I was taken good care of. One of the special things I like about this Acura dealership is my ability to work from their guest lounge. Once I give my car for servicing, they have cubicles set up and wireless network available. I can get my laptop connected and working in minutes. They have coffee and goodies available, what more can you want? It has been a blessing to have this dealership near my home. So far, not a single complain about them from me. Very good in all respects, extremely pleased with everything and the car itself.

I ask him will you able to do more for my trade , he said no canot go above this, this is the price only we can offer. i said ok, thank you, I just left the store. ( THEY NOT EVEN OFFER ME TO SIT , NOT POLITE AT ALL .THE MANAGER STEVE FROM HIS FACE LOOKS RUDE AND ROUGH) an hour after i got a call from the same sale guy , he said hai we will increase your trade 1000 more. by the time I have already made a deal with supersstions spring lexus for a2015 LEXUS IS 250 with much more respect and dignityaccording to my experiance people like above is not suitable for the dealership..

When I bought a Volkswagen from Acura of Tempe, it was a better experience than I could begin to imagine. I had found the perfect car through a private party sale but before we could finalize the deal, the sale fell through. Alas, I was 100% opposed to the idea of going to a dealer - I did not want to be hard sold by someone that I did not trust or settle for a car that I did not absolutely want. I had all of the preconceived notions of what stepping through the doors of a dealership meant ...luckily for me, those notions were quickly proved incorrect by the Acura of Tempe team.They had the car that I wanted, a used VW Tiguan with a turbo-charged engine and the dreamy VW panoramic sunroof. Keith, the salesman that I was given was calm, straightforward, accommodating and I felt no pressure from him. I was actually quite shocked by how completely normal our interaction was and it was a mere matter of hours until I was driving off of their lot with the perfect car, happy as could be.The issue for me came about a week later when that selling point of a sunroof began acting up. I assumed that it just needed a simple grease job so I took it to the local VW dealership for them to take care of it (I would not dream of subjecting an Acura dealership to working on a VW :) ). That simple grease job turned out to be a quote on a whole new sunroof track (not even remotely cheap) and my new car balloon being immediately burst. Against my better judgement, I decided to go back to the Acura dealership and lay out the scenario for them (I hate situations like this). I wasn't at all upset, just distraught really. Here was this perfect car that I had bought as a means to save money and it was potentially going to cost me an unforeseen $2,500 almost immediately. Keith was very professional about the whole situation and spoke to his sales manager who then referred me to one of their tremendous service professionals Barb. She took the car and offered a loaner car or a ride home, both of which I did not need. I can remember her saying to me as I was leaving, "we will make this right". And that they did.Barb was adamant about keeping me in the loop about what was happening with the car because it ended up being quite a bit of time to get the issue resolved. She called consistently to give me updates and would end up chatting for several minutes, mostly because she is a supremely nice person. And this whole time, I kept thinking about the dread and fear that I had about buying from a dealer. I was finally connecting the dots that this is what real customer service is and it is obviously something that Acura of Tempe takes seriously and puts tangible value in.I feel like in actuality that this a rather lame review - it doesn't really even begin to touch the surface of my satisfaction with the level of service that I received from them and certainly does no justice to the quality of their personnel. BUT I can say that this is the first time that I did not immediately remove the license plate frame advertising the dealer - those damn things that no one wants on their car but somehow magically appear each time for any reason the car is at a dealership for even 5 minutes. I will keep my Acura of Tempe license plate frame and drive with it and take pride in the tiny bit of advertisement that they may get from it. They deserve any and all positive business that my story can send their way - they are truly the good guys (and gals).

Oakey, the sales man who assisted us with our purchased was so amazing and very patient while my husband and I made up our minds. He made this transaction so smooth you didn't feel the usual dealership experience where you just stress and take long hours instead we felt like we were out visiting a friend. Oakey was so welcoming and knowledgeable about their products and services you could tell he enjoyed his work place. Also Bob, the finance gentleman he was great also made our visit so smooth he was so friendly and helpful with all of our questions he was just great! I can't forget to mention the gentle man who assisted in getting our vehicle cleaned up and ready to take home i can't recall his name but he was so welcoming and when he congratulated us in our new buy he just seemed so happy for us. You could tell he took pride in his work he left our vehicle spotless. I really appreciate the warmth these gentlemen bring to their job site they sure do transmit that to their customers.

I just purchased my fourth Acura since the early 1990s when I had an Acura Legend. We purchased an MDX at Acura of Tempe for my wife a few years ago, and yesterday I traded my 1998 RL for a new 2014 TL. My only reluctance was that I loved my RL! It has been a great vehicle and served me well for many years. That being said, my new ride is AWESOME. The sales department was friendly, straightforward and flexible. I've had my vehicles serviced at Acura of Tempe for many years. Why? As many know, it can be, well let's say " challenging" to develop a trusted relationship with a person that is recommending maintenance expenses. I always want a clear and understandable reason when I'm spending $$ on these things. My Service Adviser, Todd Goldhammer, has always taken the time to offer advice and explain all the details I need to make a prudent decision. I'm very happy with my new TL and plan to continue my relationship with Acura of Tempe, largely due to the trust I've developed over the years and the quality of vehicles and service.

So I gave this dealership another shot, this time I was hoping to finally talk to someone who can see through the deal without dropping the ball. Boy did I have one of the smoothest transactions i've ever had with Patrick (Aigner) and Joel. Patrick showed me the car I was looking for, went for a test drive, patiently listened to my nit picky whining. Satisfied with the vehicle's performance, we sat down and crunched numbers. The figure on my trade was within my expectation, so no issues there ( as opposed to the last time with the other guy who was treating me like I should agree to everything he says and sounded like he had to be somewhere but there). Anyway, we closed the deal in a very smooth manner (again, kudos to Patrick. I can be very egotistic in negotiations, but I never felt the need to put on that hat on this purchase). He skillfully knows which customer buttons to avoid pushing. Very professional!So my wife and I are now proud owners of a 2012 Acura TL tech with only 9K miles on it (Black on parchment, very nice!). The car reminded us why we loved our '05 TL so much that I felt bad parting with it a few years back. This car drives like a dream! I can't believe the connection it makes with the driver. I cannot even describe how nice the handling is. Plenty of power when you need it and very comfortable seat with unmatched technology at the price point! You gotta pay obscene amounts of cash to get this from overrated beemers. For value, reliability and performance, no other luxury brand can match an Acura!!! (This is our 5th Acura, and so far so good!!!).

I had a very very pleasant buying experience with Jon Grace, Luis and Bob Banes on my 2013 RDX. Very professional, friendly, and just makes you feel respected as a buyer. They made me feel special and rewarded being a long time loyal Acura customer. I have owned an MDX, TL, RL, and RDX and just loves the value of this luxury brand. Kudos to Jon and Bob, and also Joel (helped me out with a minor post-purchase issue). Very professional group of folks. Dana Hornung in the Service Department is just PHENOMENAL to say the least. Now, as to why I did not give the perfect rating for this dealership... My wife and I just came out of the dealership tonight looking to buy a new 2013 TL tech for her (for her birthday). The only colors left in the lot were a white (ugh!) and a silver (more ugh!). Maybe it was the initial dismay with the color selection, but the car looked...bland. Handling and overall drivability is what you'd expect from a mid level Acura sedan, but just no... warm and fuzzy feel. Anyway, the big price drop on the outgoing 2013s were really attractive so we went ahead with the negotiations anyway. The sales associate Chelsea Scott was pretty new, but I gotta give it to her as she was doing her best even with the obvious lack of familiarity with the Acura line. However, a word of advice : your general sales manager, Steve Rotonda maybe good with specific aspects of the business, but he definitely should NOT BE ALLOWED to make contact face to face with customers. Let your guys do the talking while you stay in the shadows. Totally lacking the skills to inspire an already dismayed customer to buy. Do not show high horse attitude to your customers. There are ways to convey "It is what it is" and " cannot do that" to customers without making us feel like we stumbled in the wrong dealership and we ought to be in a low end car place instead. Do not lecture me about what I can and cannot afford. It is the bank's business not yours. I just bought a f#xx$n' 35 grand car from your dealership not a month ago id#%$t (you ought to check your records first). Next time, learn to show a bit of respect to the people making your paycheck possible!We were hoping to be back for a repeat business, but just walked out with a real bad taste in our mouths. Maybe it was our fault walking in there a day before Thanksgiving? (all the adults gone for the holiday and just kids left running around clueless???).

Simply put, Rob and Acura of Tempe made my experience one of a kind. Keep in mind, I have been searching for a new vehicle for several months now. I have experienced several dealers with varying "makes" of cars. Every time, besides with Rob, I experienced a pushy high pressure environment. A revolving door of employees would continually berate you. One dealer, when we were negotiating on another vehicle and were about $50 a month apart, tried to close the deal my repeating "Just do it. Do it. $50. Come on man. You can do that.". On top of that, most other dealers won't let you walk out the door with a quote. There follow up calls are to just try and get you back into the dealership.My experience with Rob and Acura of Tempe was the complete opposite. Rob never pressured me. He showed me the vehicle. Answered all of my questions. When I asked for a quote, the number was exactly where it needed to be. On top of that, he let me walk out the door without throwing any hail mary's. He gave me the credit application to fill out at home if I was interested AND let me go home with the quote and the breakdown of the numbers. Keep in mind, my home is 5 minutes from the North Scottsdale location. At my experience, when I decided I was going to pull the trigger, I drove 30 minutes to go see Rob. It was stress free and exciting.

My husband and I were treated so well by everyone we encountered. Robb helped me find the car in the color combination I wanted. He went over the features of the car with me so that I could begin to learn how to operate the technology package. He went through the owner's manual with me in detail. He explained how to set up the home link system so I could open my garage door. In fact, I can't think of a single thing Robb didn't do! My new TL was presented in immaculate condition. This is the second car I've purchased from Acura of Tempe - the first being back in 2004. In the interim, I've purchased two Lexus vehicles. When I decided I wanted an Acura again, I had no hesitation in knowing which dealer to go to. Even though I attempted to get price quotes from another local Acura dealer, instead of giving me the quotes, I received a constant barrage of e-mails and phone calls asking me to come in and they'd provide me with the lowest out-the-door-costs. I didn't trust dealing with a company who would refuse to discuss price at all until you physically came into the dealership, at which time they can easily take advantage of the confusion of the moment and the excitement of buying a new car. I prefer to be more analytical when buying my cars, and take the time to research and ferret out the various costs involved when I have the time to do so.Patrick was a terrific sales person to work with. He's had 10 years of experiencing with Acura sales, having worked at a previous Acura dealership in Hawaii. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer almost every question I had, and easily found the answers to those he didn't know. There were no problems or "bait and switch" tactics when I went in to pick up my car and sign the papers. I also prefer working with a company that is a local independent, rather than a large corporate structure that doesn't have a "face" with it, and whose employees have no decision-making capabilities on their own.I was able to walk out the door with the first 2014 RDX that they sold, and at a good price. I have purchased my past two vehicles (Lexus) from California because of the tremendous price difference. In this case, I obtained quotes from California dealers and Acura of Tempe was willing to work with me and although they didn't totally meet the price difference, they came very close after taking into consideration the costs involved in going to California and picking up the vehicle, as well as putting the additional mileage on a new car.I would highly recommend the Acura of Tempe dealership for purchasing a vehicle, and from past experience, I would highly recommend their service department as well. I was pleased to see that the previous service advisor that I worked with, Todd Goldhammer, is still there, so will definitely return and work with him.

I contacted the dealership online about a vehicle I saw on their website that had the package and color combination I wanted. I got a quick replay and we spoke on and off for two hours working out the purchase price and a trade-in value on my old vehicle. As soon as we were in agreement, I made the 2 1/2 hour drive to the dealtership to test drive the car. I loved the car and we signed papers within a couple of hours. Everyone I met there was extremely professional and friendly. I ordered the car with some extra options that would be installed over the next two days. Three days later I returned to get a full rundown on all the high tech features this car came with and take delivery. I highly recommend doing business with this dealership. They are a first class operation. Keith Baize (internet sales person) was pleasure to work with and very knowledgeable. I can't imagine how they could have done any better.

Working with Tim Cummings was a very low pressure and enjoyable experience. He presented what was available as a certified used car that was within my budget and did not pressure me into buying immediately as I have experienced in some other dealerships. I was looking for a 2008 Acura MDX and found two that were at my price point. After thinking about the car, I called Tim again and set an appointment. Before the appointment another sales employee sold both of the MDX that I was looking at. Tim was prompt in calling me back and letting me know the situation and said he would call me if anything else came up. I decided to just look at something newer, 2011 or 2012 MDX. He showed me the best deal first then what other options there were. The best deal was a 2011 MDX with only 12k miles at $35k. There were other more expensive cars on the lot but Tim pointed out the highlight of the vehicle and helped me to narrow down what I really wanted in a car that I would be keeping for 200k miles. No pressure, friendly service, and knowledgeable. I will buy from them again and suggest anyone looking of a car, call up Tim.

I was in the market for a new Acura TL. All price negotiations were done via email with Keith, who was professional and friendly throughout the process. A great price was agreed upon, requiring only a quick visit to sign papers. The day before I was scheduled to go in, Keith informed me that a side panel to a window had been nicked during the final car prep process. Replacement part was ordered and fixed without hassle. Keith also went out of his way to make sure I got the lowest rate on car financing. I had gone in with a loan approval from the bank, but Keith found me a better deal with the dealership. After signing all the paperwork and getting ready to drive off the lot, Kim comes running out telling me she got an even lower finance rate on the car. No tricks or gimmicks. Wow, now that's service. I generally don't write reviews, but the great experience I had at this dealership should be shared. Kudos to Keith and Kim for going the extra mile. I'll definitely be back when we need to replace our aging MDX.

Incredibly friendly, helpful, knowledgable, and all around good guy! That means a lot to me seeing that I am heavily tattooed and pierced. Typically people can be very rude and disregarding when that is the case. Recently Archie Gurule helped me with my car and was just as impressive ! My car needed some serious maintanence due to neglect and he seemed to go out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. My car looks and runs great now. Love Acura of Tempe. I was met immediately, by an employee, when pulling up to the door. Dana, then took information and suggested that I wait in the waiting room. I then enjoyed coffee and a coke, read a magazine and watched TV. When my car was finished with the service, a mechanic explained the answer to a question I had. I then paid my bill and left.

The navigation system in my TL was no longer accurate. I had the option of having it refurbished or purchasing a new system. On the first attempt to install the refurbished system the unit failed so the system was removed and sent again for repair. Repaired system was installed this week and is working great. I appreciated that when the system failed on first re-install it was removed and sent back without waiting for me to discover that it didn't work. The total charge was less than I expected. It was a minor inconvenience I suppose to return a second time to have the unit installed but I like feeling confident that the Acura is interested in having the unit work correctly. And the cookies are good.

Was out on the road with a beautiful RDX loaner in under 15 minutes. I returned to my beautifully detailed MDX and again was met with friendly & prompt service. I purchased a 2006 RL one year ago. We have experienced an unusual amount of major repair issues since then.Ths past week the alternator went and the battery as well. It required me to have the car towed from my Goodyear home to Tempe with a tow company (Industrail Tow of Phoenix) supplied by Acura Care. The company tooktwo hours to come and the cab of the truck had to stop for water because it had a leaky radiator which meant that there was no AC in driving to Tempe.Last year the valvecontrolling the AC failed and the front struts needed to be replaced.This does not give me a warm feeling. I did not expect to have to pay for another battery especially when in March it tested at Teme OK and I have extended warranty in place.Todd was very helpful in getting me a loaner after hours on Monday.

From a service perspective, my entire experience was excellent. Abel handled all the paperwork in a timely, professional manner, and my loaner vehicle was ready when I arrived to drop my car for service. My only complaint is with regard to the price. In relation to the nature of the work performed, the cost seems excessive.

We were greeted as soon as we entered the dealership by Fonz Hughes and were able to test drive a car in about 5 minutes. He had answers to our questions and was very friendly but not so overly friendly as to put us off which can happen with some salespersons. I found a car I liked and after leaving the dealership to think about it came back and we bought it. Fonz linked my cell phone to the car for me and assured me that if I had any trouble with other teckie things to come back and he or someone else would help me out. I was forced to pay your outrageous repair rates because the work was proprietary Acura computer sensor repair and independent shops I talked didn't have the code to program the new sensor. I selected NA for quality of work because I don't know how long it will last. I had the exact same problem last fall and I went to the Scottsdale North Acura dealer. They sold me on almost $900 of work I didn't need as their assessment to fix the problem. The problem reoccurred a few months later. I brought it to Honamotive WHO correctly diagnosed the problem but said they didn't have the Acura codes to reprogram the computer. They did reboot it and my MDX was fine for awhile. That's when I brought it back to Acura.Your dealership is fine and Todd was pleasant. I just know after visiting any Acura dealer for repair work that I have to revise my budget for everything for the rest of the year.

Everyone, from the young man who was just leaving the work area and greeted me warmly, escorted me into the building, and when he realized that Abel was busy at the moment, invited me to have a seat and refreshments and he would notify Abel that I was there, to Abel, who is always a gentleman and an excellent advisor, who made sure all the work was done within the timeline he gave me and then escorted me back to my car. I made the service appointment on-line. I received a reminder email. When I pulled up to the service area, Teri Griffin was there to meet me , invited me inside to the waiting area and came back shortly with the electronic paper work to sign. There was coffee, water chips, cookies, juice all for the taking.. I began to watch a movie on my ipad as an Accura guest for access. I was there for the 15000 mile service. Before the movie was over , my car was wash and ready to go. Teri had my bill ready and I was on my way.What could be better?

Tina went out of her way to offer the best value for my money spent on vehicle repairs. She asked the tech, gave me options and was never pushy or aggressive in the slightest manner. Tina made servicing my vehicle a pleasurable experience and delivered on her word. Todd reviewed all aspects of the service that was to be performed with a very accurate price estimate. He went over the reasons for the service/maintenance that was to be performed in a very detailed manner that we easy to understand. The work was done per the estimated time and I was given regular updates. A loaner car was made available if I needed it. Great Service, will continue to use Acura of Tempe as my one and only service center for my 2007 MDX.

Abel is always quick and attentive when I bring my car in and knows what I need done. There was an unexpected issue with my battery this time that he went ahead and took care of for me. We didn't have to go back and forth on anything, he just saw that it wasn't right and did what he needed to do to make it right. He's also been very accomdating when my wife brings in my car. Lesser dealerships will try and take advantage of women and try to pressure them into agreein to unneccesary repairs. Abel, nor anyone at Tempe Acura, has ever done that. She's always felt very comfortable there and knows that she's not going to get hassled. That's huge for me. It's just a great service team to work with. Common sense and hospitality take precedence over trying to drive an extra buck. I may pay a little more for an oil change there, but I don't care. Not only will my car be taken care of right, I know that I and my family will be too.

It was a pleasure working with Lisa and Kim at Acura of Tempe on a new 2011 MDX. They were very friendly, enthusiastic, sincere and QUICK. It was the first time in my life that I financed a vehicle in 30 years. I had always buying our automobiles cash from various dealers in Arizona, New Mexico and California and we didnt have a single good experience. Other dealerships always lied to us from not having the requested vehicle in their inventory to trying to sell us additional products or stupid accessories added to a car to bump the price up or even sell to us something that we didnt want. The bad part was that they wouldnt take NO for an answer prolonging this way the sales process by going back and forth to the manager to negotiate the deal. At Acura of Tempe they presented us their available inventory of MDX and offered us their additional services and products but with zero pressure and allow us to make a choice and delivered the vehicle timely.It was the best car purchasing experience we had in 30 years. The level of professional, honest and courteous service exceeded our expectation. They delivered to my wife her MDX the way she wanted it and in a very competitive price.Thank you all for making this such a great experience.

Extremely positive experience. I parked my car under a pine tree that was recently cut, and as a result there were hundreds of drops of sap on it. We called Acura, Dave explained there was a detailing special going on, and we should bring it in quickly. We brought it in and worked with Dana, she assured us it could be cleaned and it came out beautiful. Also we had the oil changed and all is fine.

Everyone is friendly, and I always know that I can go to Bob Santa Maria if I have any service issues, although I haven't yet. Bob is the service manager and I always see him out of his office making sure things are running smoothly with customers. He is very friendly and I enjoy speaking with him. Abel is great to work with as my service advisor and has offered me extraordinary customer service each time I come in. Nice folks to work with. We didin't feel any undo pressure to buy and the back and forth negotiations that went into establishing a mutually acceptable price were very professionally handled. While the folks at North Scottsdale were very nice and took considerable time showing us the MDX (we had never even sat in one before, they were not willing budge much on their price and therefore the experience of negotiation felt less friendly. It was "take it or leave it," so I was happy to be dealing with you at Acura of Tempe. We never did get out to Acura of Peoria to check on their deal because the gentlemen we dealt with at Tempe were very nice - we actually had fun - and the deal was fair. We certainly will direct business your way.

All went very, very well----- SUPER dealership! Went looking for a new Acura TL and found 4 to choose from with the options we wanted. Patrick of sales, was very helpful and patient allowing us to test drive 3 different cars, some more than once. His knowledge of the vehicles was excellent.Also this dealer does not stack on excessive "extras" as most other do. In the end we made a deal that was unbeatable anywhere. We did a considerable amount of research prior to deciding on the TSX wagon so were prepared with questions and a consumer reports cost sheet. Lisa answered all of our concerns with in depth knowledge. This was the worst car buying experience we have had in the past 20 years. We started out by going to the dealer and test driving a TSX and a TL. We preferred the TL and asked for an estimate on a three year lease. The sales rep came back with something around $400 a month on the base model. We then left to consider that and other estimates on other vehicles. Later that day, we saw that Acura was offering leases for $339 for the vehicle. (strike one) I sent the sales rep an email asking about the special and how much more upgrading to the model that had the features we wanted would cost. The response indicated that adding $3000 upgrade would up the rate by 33%. Simply ridiculous. (strike two) I responded asking for confirmation and pointing out that the increase didnt seem to take into consideration any capitalization of the vehicle. His response was that they didnt know we would put down any money and lowered the estimate by about $30. Even more ridiculous.We stopped back at the dealer to give them one more chance and explained that we would trade in our Infiniti. After 20 minutes, the salesman came back and said our trade was worth $21K and since our lease buyout was $25K, we were underwater. Before going to the dealer, we had checked Kelly Blue Book online and found that the vehicle in Fair condition was worth $23K, and Excellent Condition (which ours was using the Kelly rating system) was worth $26K. (strike three)This dealer, over the course of a week, displayed the worst traits of the industry; high ball prices, low ball trade-ins and dont give customers available benefits. They apparently assume their patrons do not do any research and, therefore, are easy pickings for good profits.I will never go back to this dealer and will spread the word about their shoddy practices to everyone I know. They suck.

Great service by Todd Goldhammer my service advisor. I drive a 2001 MDX and yet I feel spoiled like I am driving a 2011. My car was serviced on my time line. I love that if necessary a loaner car is free, and how special that you detail my car, something that I like to have, but do not do myself. Thanks to you all Acura of Tempe!

While I was not happy to find out that my Acura had to have a transmission cooling line replaced with only 38,000 miles on the vehicle, it was nice to have a service writer like Dana to make the experience less painful.While they checked out my car, Dana made sure I was comfortable in your waiting area and had everything I needed.Once it was determined my Acura had to stay for further evaluation, I was provided with a courtsey vehicle.It is nice to be able to feel comfortable getting service done at the same dealership where I purchased my vehicle.

I scheduled to take delivery in a week to allow for preparations. On delivery day the vehicle was missing keys, USB conector and cargo net. With regard to price; the agreed price included a change to window tint. Tint work was not done, yet price did not reduce. Bottom line: I provided all information and was completely honest. People were "nice" and apologized for errors but they missed the point! Now I must take time out of my day, drop off my car for service, when they had the time to get these things done BEFORE I took delivery. I talked to other tint people who did not agree with the statements made by Tim Garcia. I do not know which statements are true. That is not the issue. The issue is that my price did not reduce as a result of Tim Garcia convincing me that a change in tint was not needed when the price of the tint change was included in the price of the car. I "feel" like the tint was purposefully excluded to give the dealership a little more money and there hope was that I would not question the price. Thus, in my experience, professionalism is not this dealership's strong suit.

I have been to Acura of Tempe twice since moving to the East part of town and have been blown away by the quality of the service team. I went to another Acura dealer in the West valley (Acura of Peoria) and was treated very poorly. So poor, in fact, I never wanted to go back to an Acura dealer. When I received a recall notice for my 2006 TL, I reluctantly went to Acura of Tempe and was completely surprised at how great the service was. I still have ill-feelings towards Peoria (and always will) but I have been impressed and happy everytime I visit the Tempe site.

We had to have a new Transmission on our car that only had 71K miles on it. Abel was very nice and made our experience great. He did all he could to make sure we were taken care of. Our overall experience was superb and Abel was a big part of that.

In 2008 I purchased and MDX. I thought I had done enough research on the price of the car but I was wrong. I overpaid by at least 2k. And the salesman quit the day after I got my car. The Tempe dealership is still the closest one for me for service. So I have taken the car there for service for the past 2 years. A few months ago I receive an email invitation for special customers. It invited me into the dealership for a special trade in program. As anyone would, I assumed this meant a good deal on my trade in, plus an extra good deal on the new MDX. Boy was I ever wrong. I had done my homework on pricing. But Tempe offered a low and unreasonable amount for my trade. Sending me the signal that they really didnt want my trade. As for the cost of the new car, they started bidding at the sticker price. And claimed they were doing that as the car is a hot sale and they are selling for that amount. I had to remind them that I was invited in for special pricing. But to hear anymore of it, I'd have to sit thru rounds of negotiations. I passed on their lousy offer and was very put off by how i was invited as a special guest, but treated like I was no different than any other buyer. I get home, and in my email inbox I had two MDX new car offers from two other dealerships (Peroria and Tucson). Their negotiation starting point was $2k less than what Tempe offered. And I didnt have to waste any time at either of their dealerships to come in and get a starting offer.

Everybody was friendly and helpful. The oil change took longer than expected, but they can't control the line at the car wash. :) Cheaper would be nice, though -- I realize the service (and the waiting room) is far better than a regular oil change place, but I'm not sure it's worth paying double. I guess we'll see in six months...

Went to Az International auto show to make final decision between Ford Fusion and the Honda Accord. Stumbled across the TSX and fell in love. Unfortunately the floor representative was severely lacking in Acura knowledge so we googled for the closest dealership. We ended up at Acura of Tempe where Patrick Aigner was pleasant and not aggressive... which suits my style exactly. This was the easiest car purchase EVER. We were in and out in about 1 hour with no hassles.

We only stopped by your Acura Dealership because were looking for a new(er) truck and there were a couple parked in your Driveway up front. We were actually heading over to the Dodge Dealer but never made it that far.Tim was very nice, not pushy or too talkative, he just stood back and let us know he was there in case we had any questions. If it wasn't for his reserved manner we probably would have just left because I hate dealing with pushy salespeople. We also met with the used car manager very briefly and he was very nice to work with but I don't remember his name. He was very honest and naturally he explained all the defects he found with the truck we were trading in. Chris in Finance, the guy who actually took our money, was also very nice and we really have no complaints about him. However, your dealership is in need of some serious process improvements. We came in to buy a truck and paid CASH and I had to sign more paperwork then at the closing on our house. Really? Come on guys.As hard as Tim and Chris worked to make this purchase a great experience all that paperwork kind of left a bad taste in our mouths. It seemed like all the paperwork kept repeating itself. Then the icing on the cake was the form they made us sign agreeing not to sue the dealership if something went wrong with the new truck, and instead promising we would only use an arbitrator to resolve any conflicts? Come on guys. If you operate above board and treat people fairly then that should not happen right? I was surprised to even see a tacty form like that at an Acura Dealership.No offense but I think your lawyers are ruining the customer relationship experience. As I have experienced before, Acura of Tempe is a leader of leaders in auto dealerships. My scheduled maintenance appointment went flawlessly and on time. I've never felt that AoT is out to bleed service customers for money. For example I overheard a service advisor speaking with a customer who needed several repairs. He gave detailed information of what the repairs were, which ones were most critical and gave the customer options of how to approach their decisions for the repairs. I was impressed to say the least. This is why I chose an Acura and why I take my TL to AoT for service. My service advisor was Todd Goldhammer. Nice, professional young man but a little rushed. I don't know how long he's been on the job but it seemed like he was not trying to forget anything but it came across as professional but impersonal. The service advisor I had before Todd took the time to build relationship. That's important to me because I am one to trust my Acura to the dealership and with an advisor that has built a relationship with me. I feel better about he or she looking out for my best interest and loyalty as a return customer. I'm sure Todd will become a great service advisor.

We had never considered buying or even looking at the Acura, and knew nothing about the vehicle until we visited Acura of Tempe upon recomendation of a friend. Had we felt pressured or that we were being manipulated, we would have walked right out. The benefits of the car were presented to us clearly and honestly. We told Jonathon that we were not comfortable trying to negotiate a price and to please just give us the best possible price. We felt it was fair. This dealership is very friendly, comfortable and attractive. All our questions and concerns were answered and we feel we have a great car.

Everyone was helpful. THe only thing I did not like was the pressure to purchase an extended warranty, even though he was not High pressure. There is no value in my opinion to purchase this product if the car is good?? I have purchased many vehicles throughout my life and never had to use, nor purchase an extended warrenty!

I brought my car (2008 Acura TL Type S) in for an oil change and replacement of brakes. As usual, it was a simple process to schedule a time to drop off my vehicle and have a loaner vehicle available. I dropped my vehicle off and the loaner vehicle was already sitting outside waiting for me. The entire process of what all would be done to my car was explained and if anything else needed to be done, I would be contacted first. I returned to the dealership later that afternoon and picked up my vehicle, which they also washed and cleaned out. The cost of the entire process was well worth what was provided:- New Brembo brakes- Oil change- Clean car inside/out- Clean & aesthetic dealership- Friendly and knowledgable Service Department PersonellI have yet to have a bad experience here and the staff has always been very willing to accomodate as much as they possibly can. The service provided is one of the reasons I still continue to stay with Acura.

I dropped my car off for service on 9.20.10 and had a positive experience. My car battery died unexpectantly on Saturday evening. I was able to drop the car off and service was completed by 4pm on the next business day. In addition to the battery, I also requested an oil change. Todd recommended rotating the tires, changing the fluid on the rear wheel drive as well. I was extremely please to have received an email from Tempe Acura Monday morning for 10% off of maintenance services which Todd applied to my bill.Sincerely,Leah Plush

Overall good experience. I like having a ride to the mall while I'm waiting. The two drivers yesterday were good drivers and pleasant to be around. The first was Jimmie and has been my driver before and I can't remember the name of the driver that picked me up at the mall.My service rep Todd was very pleasant as well. I did appreciate that he noticed that the tires should be rotated. Safety is important to me and I appreciate that he took the time to look over my car. Everything was completed in a very short time and Todd gave me a call right away. I was picked up quickly at the mall which is nice also.Paying was fast as well and Todd explained everything about my bill.

The finance department was even willing to talk to our bank the day before we visited to understand the exact situation that we had already worked out so that our weekend visit would be as quick and easy as possible. We had been browsing for cars for a couple of months. Out of all the dealerships that we visited, I can honestly say that Acura of Tempe was by far superior in all aspect of our sales experience.From the minute that we were greeted when we pulled into the dealership to the completion of the sale, the service was outstanding. I love this dealership! The people are always exceptionally friendly and respectful. They go over every aspect of service in detail; there are never any surprises. The waiting area is immaculate and includes free snacks and drinks. It's convenient -- they have a prompt courtesy shuttle (I've had to wait for long stretches at other dealers), and if service will take a while, you can get a loaner; no problem. They can always get my car in quickly, too. I've had my car serviced here for the past 6 years, and it is always returned to me cleaned inside and out. Prices are not cheap, but not excessive.

I stopped into this dealer to see several used cars they had listed on their website in their used car inventory. The first gentleman I met on the lot was friendly. I asked to see the cars on my list, and he informed me that only one of the 4 cars was actually on their lot, and the other three he "figured" were at their the Subaru dealer belonging to the same owner. I was disappointed, but that didn't prompt this negative report. This guy took me into the dealership to ask the internet guy about the cars that were not there. I told him my story, which was this: I had just come from the Toyota dealer where we had fallen in love with a used car. But before making an offer on it, I wanted to see these last couple cars on my list...so there I was. The internet guy, and another sales men in his office asked what I liked so much at Toyota. I told them it was a Toyota Venza. The three of them proceeded to go on a 5 minute tangent about how crappy Toyotas are, how they have no resale value, how bad their A/C is and just carried on. YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME! I have never seen sales people act so poorly, or so unprofessionaly. I immediately left the dealer and have no intention of going back. Sales 101 says don't bag the competition...especially when the person your talking to might be a VERY happy owner of the competitions product, like me. I have a Toyota 4Runner with a 190,000 miles on it, and it's been the best vehicle I have EVER owned! Oh, and the AC works terrific! Idiots.

Tim was very objective and did not waste my time with unecessary information. He was able to answer my questions quick and was able to judge what I wanted and made the deal happen. I think both Tim and Thomas made a great team and i apprecite them working late on Sunday(weekend) and made the deal happen. Full Credit to both of them. Excllent experience! My battery went dead at work and I got it jump started. I called Todd and indicated that I needed a new battery and quickly becuase I had an important doctor's appointment I could not miss. I got to the dealership, he came right out and met me and had my car done in less than 30 minutes. He apologized for not doing a complimentary wash and said, "We owe you one." In fact, I am the one who owes him one! He also mentioned that the person working on my car noticed a slit in my back tire and they put an X on it so I could go back to the place where I purchased my tires. I appreciate the care Acura of Tempe always show and I know my safety is paramount to them. I very much appreciate Todd's willingness to work with me even on such urgent, late notice and I got to my appointment on time. I should mention that a person named Able first answered the phone and took down my information and passed it along to Todd, with whom I usually work, because Todd was with a customer. Obviously, Able followed through on his word and was committed in helping me too. What more can anyone ask of their car dealership? I really appreciate Acura of Tempe!

Today's visit included an oil change and a new battery. I purchased a battery ~2 years ago and just as the warranty stated, since it failed (in this Arizona heat, no surprise) during the 100% replacement period that is exactly what Acura of Tempe did. No hesitation. They always stand behind their work and warranties. I did not have an appointment but when all the dash board lights flashed when I started my care this morning I went directly to Acura. Todd Goldhammer, who is absolutely wonderful, ensured I was taken care of while I had a coffee and cookies. When I am in the market for a new car I would buy again from Acura of Tempe and continue to have them service my car.

Every time I have service performed on my vehicle, I know I will be treated with respect and that my vehicle is getting the best service. They are always punctual and my vehicle is ready when they say it will be. Tempe Acura is the reason I go to a dealership. Todd is a highly knowledgeable service manager that not only knows these vehicles inside and out but he knows me too and anticipates my every need. After many years there I have never had one single repair failure - not one. My vehicle is also spotless when it is returned having been washed and vacuumed - at no extra cost of course. And speaking of cost, I just replaced the tires on my MDX and Tempe Acura was only $4.00 more per tire (price I was charged) than Discount Tire Co. Not sure I want to trust Discount Tire with my tire sensors so I was MORE than happy to pay only $4.00 more per tire to have Tempe replace them. Let's talk clean and professional - this Dealership is spotless - very clean, comfortable and accomodating with complimentary beverages and snacks. I always feel special when I am there! And finally, if my vehicle needs to be there for the day Todd / Tempe provides me with a loaner - again, at no cost. So, ask me again why I go to Tempe Acura.

Todd is very friendly and informative about our recent service. He gave a very accurate estimate of the time to do the alignment and amount it would cost. I arrived 25 minutes before the schedualed time due to miscalculation of travel time and he still got the initial paperwork done within 10 minutes.

Normally, I view having to buy a new car as something like getting a root canal. Most dealerships treat customers like they are idiots. This dealership is the exception; the transaction and various options were discussed rationally and intelligently, with no pressure or escalation to other 'managers' to push getting the deal done at that very moment. Tim was great to work with...follow up was excellent. Joel gave me multiple purchase and lease options and explained the potential benefits of each. Kim got me through the final paperwork in preparation for car delivery in a very pleasant, professional manner. This is our second Acura and second transaction with Acura of Tempe. Both transactions went extremely well. I've got a great relationship with Steve Gonzales, my service advisor. My family and I are well taken care of here, and we will most definitely be back!

My husband and I recently moved from Pittsburgh to the Phoenix area and are temporarily sharing his MDX. Since I am currently unemployed, it made sense for me to take the vehicle to get it serviced. This was not a task that I was looking forward to because my husband is very meticulous about his "wheels" and I hate being the dangerous liaison. From the moment I met Dana she put me at ease and explained everything in terms that I could understand and relay to my husband. She was also very friendly and interested in our move and transition across the country. The dealership itself is like home away from home. From the lounge area with abundant refreshments to the internet access, there is no way you can sit there and just twiddle your thumbs! When the service was completed, Dana explained what they had done and some other things that they recommended. I ended up taking a loaner MDX while the recommended service was completed. When we returned the loaner and picked up his MDX the entire transaction took less than five minutes. And, they washed the MDX! That has never happened before. One of the initial service recommendations was new tires; after some shopping around, my husband decided that Acura of Tempe had a better price. So, a week later, I found myself back at the dealership! Once again, Dana was more than accommodating. This time I took a loaner for the day. When Dana called me to let me know the car was ready, I asked her if I could pick it up the next morning. She said it would be fine but she wouldn't be there...that was the only disappointment with our Acura of Tempe experience!

I was received promptly when I walked into the dealership. I had a letter that was sent to me regarding a trade-in of my 2005 TL; but, I had also received one earlier this year. When I went to see what options were available to me, the dealer rep at that time essentially blew me off. Last week I explained what had happened to me to the manager and he was appalled. From that point on, he ensured that I received the very best service. Dan assisted in matching me with a car that met my preferences. Since I chose to lease the unit, Richard assisted me with that aspect of my purchase. And lastly, Kim reviewed the paperwork and helped me with the vast number of signatures. I remember how attentive the support staff were as well from the receptionist to the gentleman who wiped down my new Acura. Ironically, it rained heavily during the time I was there to complete the transaction. I drive Acura's because it is a reliable car and its luxurious quality is affordable. But, equally important is the service. The Acura Tempe staff have high integrity; I have often been made aware of maintenance opportunities that I was unaware of that were of no cost to me. I always felt that I have been treated fairly and honestly. Today more than ever, that means a lot to a consumer.

The reason why I rate this dealership with high ratings is due to the level of trust that I have with the service dept. I was quoted a set price from Todd Goldhammer, my regular service advisor and he not being able to be present on a saturday, I was presented with Abel. Abel quoted me the exact same price including labor costs and the level of all my auto work so far has always been top notch. The respectfulness, courtesy and overall friendliness has always been better then other places. Acura of Tempe leaves with you a level of trust that you can alway feel good about and you are never being taken advantage of ever.thank you so much

the best service department with cost that are reasonable...this would be one of the major reasons my next car purchase will most likely be another acura.keep up the good work, keep the service coupons coming.And would recommend a loyalty type pgm for those individuals who continue to use your service department as well as for future sales of new vehicles. economy is stil la question for alls, so set up pgms that generate traffic to your dealership.

I have been coming to Acura of tempe for over 6 years & have received the same level of EXCELLENT service the entire time. Our family has a couple of Acura's and Todd and the service team at Tempe has taken care of them the entire time. I currently don't have a need for a new or newer car due to the quality & care taken to these cars but when it's time for newer ones we will return to Acura of Tempe.

Both men with whom I worked were knowledgeable, helpful, and competed. I appreciated Pat's willingness to show me the features of the car, and to spend time making sure I could use the features once I had purchased the car. He was patient, repeating instructions as necessary, and secure in his presentation. I especially liked his manner of not pressuring me to make a decision before I was ready. He made himself available to us (my family was with me) and kind to my grandson who was getting bored.He even played music to make my grandson more comfortable. Tom was knowledgeable and competent, and helpful. Great staff.

Not sure I would recommend this dealership because I don't think they recognize customer loyalty. I recently went in for an oil change and I forgot the coupon they mailed me and they still charged me the full price. I have been a loyal customer of there's for well over 7 yrs and that mistreatment is unacceptable, as I believe the money I have spent over the years is worth a lot more to them then a $40 oil change. Not sure if I will ever return.

This is the second time I've purchased a car from Acura of Tempe. The first time was to buy a new RSX Type S, which I loved driving almost as much as I loved buying it from Acura of Tempe. Tim and Bud took such amazing care of me not only during the buying process, but own to every single detail until I drove it off the lot. Seriously, they think of everything to make the process as easy and enjoyable as possible on the buyer. I couldn't have asked for more, and that's why they were the first team my wife and I reached out to when buying our latest car.This time, we wanted a used RDX, which they just happened to have available. As before, they walked us through the vehicle's history, their impressions and pros/cons of the car, and answered any questions we had. After showing us an incredible price, we decided to purchase the car from them. From there, signing the financial paperwork was a breeze. They walked us through all of the vehicle's features. And they assured us that we could come to them with any questions after we drove the car away.We will always recommend Acura of Tempe to our friends and family, and think you should utilize them next time you're in the market.

This dealership outright committed fraud on a new car. They were neglegent with the application of window tinting by placing on "Arizona Legal", but what they didnt realize that the glass has tinting of its own, which made it "Atrizona Illegal". The car didnt pass inspection and they refused to replace the tint.I WOULD NEVER WALK INTO THEIR SHOW ROOM AGAIN!!!!!

I made a deal with their Internet manager, Doug Booth, on what was portrayed to be an immaculate low mileage (26000 original miles) 2003 Audi A4 station wagon. We are from Canada and would be flying in to Phoenix to pick up the vehicle and drive it home to Canada. The agreed price was higher than what I felt the car was truly worth, but I agreed to pay their price if they made certain that the car was fully up to date on maintenance and ready for a trouble free trip home. This was on a Tuesday. He promised the vehicle would be ready on "Thursday" as it was in their reconditioning shop. We booked a flight and headed to Phoenix on the Wednesday. While we were in the air Doug left a phone message saying there would be a delay in getting the car ready for Thursday as they had decided to order some interior panels that they felt needed to be replaced. I spoke to him on arrival at the airport and said I'd come over to the dealership on the Thursday morning to talk to them and to see the vehicle. On Thursday when we arrived at the dealership we sat down with Doug and talked, and he assured us that the shop would bring the car out to the front of the dealership for us to view momentarily. It took about an hour for them to actually show up with the vehicle. It was not the immaculate vehicle that we had been promised!! It had numerous small dents and dings, small tears in the interior, had not been properly detailed yet and was therefore quite dirty. Most disturbing though, was the fact that the cargo area had been converted for use as a service vehicle and had a plywood floor with some rather unusual electrical connections and devices protruding from the plywood. The glove box was also full of some type of aftermarket electronic devices that were built in and connected to the vehicle. Doug explained that the vehicle had been used by a ski lodge in northern Arizona to boost vehicles when needed at the ski resort, and that these interior parts that were on order were the replacement parts to replace the missing items in that cargo area as well as some other interior items. We felt we had been purposely mislead by Doug who had intentionally not mentioned the fact that this vehicle was previously a service vehicle of some sort. However, we had already invested considerable time, money, and effort to get this far, so we agreed to test drive the unit. The engine response was sluggish and the air conditioning was not working properly. We talked with Doug and his sales manager, a fellow named Joel West, told them the vehicle was not what it had been portrayed as, and offered them less money than what had been originally agreed to. During the meeting with Joel they truth about the vehicle history emerged. It had been an Audi service vehicle, rigged up by Audi to respond to customers whose Audi's broke down out on the road. It had then been sold to a fellow in a ski resort who had kept it for a fairly short time period before trading it in at this Acura dealership. The scars on the paint on the roof were from the "emergency light bars" that had been installed by Audi and later removed. The extra electronics were for the Audi service technicians to be able to diagnose on the road what was wrong with the broken down vehicles. They refused to take my new lower offer, and I then suggested that I would still give them their asking price if they were to get the vehicle fixed up ready to go as quickly as possible and to get me a copy of a service order from Audi showing that the Audi technicians had checked the vehicle and that it was actually OK. Two days later, on the Saturday morning, we went over to check the car again and to finalize the deal. The vehicle drove well on this second drive, the air conditioning now worked well, it had been cleaned up significantly, all of the add-on electrical components had been removed, and I said I was happy and that we could write up the deal. They then advised me that the price of the vehicle had now gone up as it had cost them more than anticipated to get the vehicle fixed up over at the Audi dealership, and that they were passing that cost on to me. I pointed out that the vehicle had been portrayed as being in good condition, and that obviously that was not the case, and that if they had made a bad deal on the car it was not my fault and should not be any additional cost to me. They refused to sell me the vehicle at the agreed price. My guess is that they felt that I was so far into this deal with time and costs and that I was now running behind schedule for my return trip to Canada, and that I couldn't do anything except pay them the new higher price that they now demanded. I believe it to be a scam and that they were simply trying to pry extra money our of my pocket to make additional profit for themselves. In my opinion these guys are sleazy used car salesmen, and if you are thinking of dealing with them, think again!! I initially negotiated with their Internet Sale rep. and we both know and agree the invoice price WITH DESTINATION for my interested 2007 Acura TL is $31817.93 (yes down to the penny). We talked (email and phone) and I agreed to come in to purchase it around invoice price. Good Deal right? Well big mistake! I talked to a sale guy and said I am willing to buy the car around the invoice price + fees. Surprisingly they agree to sell the car exactly at $31817.93. I know it's September and '08 models are here in their lot already. I was still surprised but thought maybe they are willing to sell 07 inventory at invoice price now. But when they bring back the numbers with the sale price and fees, they included the DESTINATION CHARGE ($670) AGAIN, mixed in with Title and registration, Tax, Documentation fee ($369), etc.. I was there for like 4 hours and it was after 10pm, I didn't remember that the $31817.93 included the destination charge. So I agreed and purchased the car.The next morning when I looked at their number again and realized they charged me twice for the Destination fee, I am not happy with this tactic. See, if they told me that they need to make a profit for $670 on top of the invoice price, and if I agreed on it, then I CAN live with that. I made that choice, right?! But this is not. This is on one side they said to sell you the car for invoice price, on the other side they pull out this trick to embed the same Destination charge again among the fees to make up the profit. That is just wrong and dishonest, completely disrespectful to buyers. If I am fooled, I am sure there are plenty buyers out there that suffered the same thing, except they probably don't know it! What make this situation worse is, I went back to the dealer ship to talk to the sale manager, Andy. He basically said that's the price I signed to purchase and there is nothing he can do. After a couple rounds of fruitless discussion, I talked to the branch manager, Joe Leavitt. Wow, what an experience! He basically said the same thing but with a more arrogant, 'you-are-a-sucker' style. He tried to imtimidate me by asking how old I am, then said to the effect of 'Hey, you are over 18. You made the decision and now deal with it!' If the man in charge has that kind of integrity (or lack of), imagine how that influence the rest of the sales managers and sales associates. In this dealership, it doesn't matter whether a business practice is right or wrong, clean or dirty. As long as they can make a profit out of a buyer, they will find a way to get you signed the paper. This is what I learned from them, stright from the leadership. Yes I mean you, Mr. Leavitt. Thought I want to share this with you the $670 lesson I learned from this dealership. I am not getting anything back from them, and I don't mind spending another hour summarizing this for you.
