I have tried contacting them thru cars.com for several vehicles, but no response. Their website domain listed is for sale so no luck there either. I have not gone directly to the dealership so will not ding them on anything but their online service, thus a 3 star review.

Wow, what a great experience to be had at American Auto Sales. Sam was very patient with me and my girlfriend when looking at cars. We actually came back a few days and test drove a handful of great looking vehicles. All work was professionally done in house and cared for by all mechanics. Sam has a great approach with the car buying experience, is NOT pushy or sales-ey and very informative on all the vehicles. By far this was the best car buying experience we have had and we highly recommended to all looking for a vehicle, to seek out Sam and see whats on the lot.

I have bought 2 cars from American Auto LLC and I couldn't be happier. The staff is awesome too. Sam was there to answer any questions I had from start to finish.I will never buy another car from anyone else. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great quality vehicle. In total, we have bought 3 cars from Sam (American Auto Sales). We were so impressed with the first purchase of a 2014 GMC Acadia that we went back and bought a 2014 Nissan Sentra. Everything works great, cars run like new. My wife just bought a Ford Fiesta from Sam and, as always, it was nothing but the best experience. Sam is the only salvaged dealer you will find who does not sugar coat anything. He is also the only salvaged dealer that puts airbags in all of his vehicles. His lot is a bit over crowded and may not be the best looking, but you will definitely not find a better buy anywhere in town. I come all the way from North Phoenix and recommend him to all of my friends and family.

Awesome company. great prices. great cars. I have now purchased three cars from American Auto Sales. All for my three college kids. They have fantastic cars with low miles for a fraction of the book price. I use to shy away from salvage or rebuilt cars. However because their sales manager owner is forthcoming with the original accident or condition of the vehicle prior to their staff making full repairs I always felt I was getting a mechanically solid vehicle. These cars also have ADOT fully inspected "rebuilt" titles ( not salvage tiles that could be repaired in some guys garage). Looking for a solid car at a great price? Hi visit them.

The worst customer service the worst business people I've ever encountered in my life.. Will never shop here again.. They don't answer phone calls or website applications.. Been trying to contact about a call for weeks and no answer..

FIRST, I normally do NOT write reviews. That said, meeting Sam and his staff has compelled me to pass on the experience I had with American Auto Sales. We had been looking for a 1st car for our daughter and been to dozens of Phoenix and Yuma car lots. When my wife found AAS and said we needed to go by to look, my initial reaction was "Absolutely not!" Reading on the internet that they were selling "salvaged title" cars made me predisposed to the idea they would be junk. BUT, I finally agree to go "look" a one of the cars my daughter found on the AAS website When we arrived on the lot, Sam greeted us and proceeded to immediately tell me, "You know these are salvage title cars?" To me, I found his immediate honesty refreshing. Sam then took me through his operation and explained to me in GREAT detail exactly how he gets his cars and repairs them. Over the course of 4 hours, Sam was VERY patient as my daughter looked at a number of vehicles. He also let me drive a couple that caught my eye. My daughter started to gravitate to a 2014 Chevy Sonic LS. We had looked at some on a Chevy dealership lot in Phoenix. We knew the price was nearly half what we had driven similarly. That night I got on the internet and FULLY researched Sam and AAS. I looked at the Better Business Bureau, Arizona Courts Public Records and also online reviews of Sam and his company. I thought for SURE I would find that it was a scam. I was amazed to find there was NOTHING OF THE SORT. My research revealed that the overwhelming majority of people that come to AAS are VERY SATISFIED. LONG STORY SHORT, we ended up dealing with Sam. Over the course of two weeks, Sam worked very closely with me. He allowed us to test drive the car extensively. He put the car up on a lift and showed me the frame (I was worried about frame damage), He showed an AMAZING AMOUNT OF PATIENCE WITH ME. He even went further to help me find Credit Union for us to finance with. Mind you, I already have an account with Navy Federal Credit Union and Wells Fargo. The company Sam has a relationship with gave me a finance rate FAR lower than the 2 banks/union I have accounts at!! Sam walked me through EVERY SET of the purchase. What car dealer will actually take you to the DMV to help with the title transfer??? SAM DOES!! Over the course of the 2 weeks it finally took for me to get everything in order for our purchase, I absolutley feel like I made a lifelong friend. That's the type of person you will be dealing with at AAS. I had to think to myself, I've bought at least a dozen cars in my lifetime, NEVER have I felt in better hands than when I've dealt with Sam and AAS. To that end, I am currently upside down with my personal vehicle (a minivan). Next year I should be able to sell it and break even. The moment I do, I will be making tracks to come visit my friend Sam again at AAS. YOU WILL NOT beat the customer service, professionalism and friendship you get from this organization. DO NOT JUDGE the appearance of his lot. Meet Sam and his staff. Spend some time with him. You will come to understand just like I have, American Auto Sales is a diamond in the rough. Like I said at the begining, I normally do not go out of my way to write reviews. I could not in good consience just let the sale go and NOT say something about my experience with AAS. I challange anyone slightly interested in the cars they find on his website to stop by and check them out. I can tell you that you WILL NOT be disappointed. And if you, Sam, happen to read this....THANK YOU for your service and professionalism. I can't wait to come by a car from you again!!!

I purchased a car from on in March 2016. The complete transation was by phone.They did all the paper work so I was able to pick the car up at their facility.I dealt with Sam and I found him honest credible and easy to deal with. I have 5 children and 18 grand kids and my family will definitely buy cars from him in the future

American Auto Sales through Sam and his whole family gave me a great customer service and built a long lasting relationship by treating me and my wife as family and taking care of all our car related needs. I bought this last week my fourth car from Sam. He was so patient with my wife and I as it took us a while to decide which car we like best. We tested a few cars in a few different days. Sam was very patient, helpful and honest through the buying process. Both cars that my wife and I currently own were purchased from American Auto Sales. Sam has been awesome with us in the past, and he continues to be by helping fix any issues that we had with our cars. I never thought that I could build this kind of relationship with a car dealership, and a car dealership owner/sales manager, but Sam is different than anybody out there. He is honest, and extremely helpful. He is so honest with the prices, and does not have all kinds off fees added to the advertised price like most other dealerships. I highly recommend anybody that is looking for a car to give Sam a call and purchase from American Auto Sales. You will have a big selection of cars to choose from, be given excellent customer service, a great price and a extremely honest and totally different buying process than you will find anywhere else.

Just bought my 3rd car from Sam and plan to purchase 2 more ~ I have a lot of kids! The cars are rebuilt excellent and are very dependable. You can't beat the prices and the service. He has a great selection to fit any budget. It's such a relief to have a "car guy" that I know I can turn to for a great honest deal. Definitely takes the fear out of buying a car ~ Thanks Sam!!

There was a lot of hidden damage, mostly electrical that were difficult to find. The body repairs were poorly done, mostly the painting. A couple of weeks after I purchased the car, the clear coat was coming off in large areas. No adhesion between the paint and clear coat. My attention was directed to the right side to inspect the repairs when the actual damage was to the left side. Misdirection? It took over $5000 to repair the hidden damage and replace interior panels I was told were readily available and cheap. Not so. Body work was poor quality with shortcuts throughout.

5 stars and name is Boomer in Prescott Valley. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for vehicle. I have a whole diff outlook on salvage title and will always give Sam a chance to sell me a car before I go anywhere else. He took care of me not only before and during but even after the sale he made sure that I was 100% satisfied before we concluded the sale. After my poor baby precious first car was totaled when I was hit by a reckless driver who missed a stop sign, I was devastated to have to go through the car buying experience. Pushy salespeople, long days at the dealership, and countless amounts of signatures and paperwork sounded exhausting, I figured I would start my search online. I found a car that looked very promising so I had my husband call to inquire. Sam (the primary owner and salesperson) answered and was very honest about the car being a salvaged title and very helpful answering any questions. We went to the dealership next day and I was able to test drive the car. There is limited salespeople but all the staff was friendly. Although we waited a little while to test drive the car, once we did the process was very smooth and streamlined. We went to the dealership already preapproved so the process of closing the deal was very short and sweet. The prices are firm but extremely fair priced. The purchase of the car comes with a 15 day warranty and there is an additional warranty available for purchase if you'd like. Sam is very honorable in servicing the veichle with any issues you may identify. I appreciated the entire experience of not feeling pressured into anything and finding a car that I genuienly love for a price that I could not be happier with. I have been driving my car for a month and no complaints yet! Thank you so much again to American Auto Sales, would definitely purchase a car from him again x 10 in the future!! Also would recommend to any of my friends and family.

I purchased (2) autos from Sam in 2015. A Ford Fiesta and a Chrysler Town & Country. Sam is a good honest person who goes out of his way to make you happy. I hope Sam stays in business for many years as I will buy all of my autos from him. He even delivered our Chrysler Town and Country to my wife and I at 9:00 pm while our daughter was having a baby at Gilbert Mercy Hospital. Thank you Sam for a great experience.

The original car purchased from the dealer broke down in three days and after two and half months of dealer fixing the problem, the car was still not fix. The dealership was willing to fix problem by exchanging another car for the original. However, the car exchanged also has problem, although, minor from original car purchased.

We bought a car from American Autos while we were vacationing in Phoenix. The sales manager, Sam, provided excellent customer service and the lot had a variety of newer vehicles to choose from. Since we were in town for a few days, we were able to drive the car around to determine if there were any issues before we headed home. Sam happily took care of our minor concerns. We were very happy with our purchase and would definitely purchase another vehicle from American Autos. A couple of things to note: The cars are salvaged. Sam is very open about this and wants the consumer to understand what they're buying. Also, they seem to be short-handed with sales staff, so you may need to wait a few minutes to be helped.

A lot of the cars at this sales lot are refurbished--which means a typical lender is not interested in your business. Sam, the sales manager, was very patient explaining the process and referring a Credit Union that provides loans on refurbished/restored vehicles. The Credit Union in question is the second-largest in the nation, and largest in Utah (Mountain America). They too were highly helpful and determined to work for me. My credit is holding me up from buying for the moment, but I have no doubts that I will be dealing with Sam in the very near future!
