Had a good experience at dealership. My salesperson, James, was helpful and not pushy. James even let me know when a car I was interested in was no longer available. I've purchased too many cars to count and the buying process at Auction Direct was easy and took almost no time. I would recommend applying for credit online to make the process even faster. My only complaints are that the car was not detailed very well. It was clean, but still had some dirt on some of the touch points inside. Also, the test drives aren't long enough and the salesperson goes with you. I would prefer going alone on test drives. Overall, a very good experience.

Three years ago, I purchased a Ford Explorer XLT from Auction Direct in Victor, n.y. and was pleasantly surprised with the ease and convenience of the way our salesman handled the transaction. Today I returned to pick up the exact same vehicle only 3 years newer, from an awesome young salesman named Tyler Pettinger. He was beyond accommodating, attentive, and knowledgeable. He handled the entire procedure with complete efficiency , and always with a welcome smile and handshake. This young man knows how to treat a customer. I had the opportunity to work with Ryan Fox. Called him on a saturday and agreed on going out to test drive a truck monday. It then ended up being the sunday instead which he was scheduled off. He had gotten ahold of James Heath and when I drove the 1.5 to the dealership James knew all about me coming and had truck all ready to go for me to test drive. He was very patient and very personable. Just over all professional and awesome to deal with. I end up purchasing the truck and picking up truck monday. Ryan kept in touch throughout monday letting me know the truck was ready to go. Both gentlemen had great communication skills with not only myself but each other and very well on top of things. I would reccomend this dealership to absolute anyone looking to purchase their next vehicle.

I have been a customer of Auction Direct twice now. Once while buying a car some 5 or 6 years ago and then again just recently when selling a car. I got a great car at a great price. My experience with Annette was wonderful. A few small things made me not rate it 5 stars. I drove away with under a quarter tank if gas. Every other dealership I've bought from fills the tank before you leave. Also they kinda his the fact that there was only one key until I was leaving with the car. (I do blame myself a small amount for this) and a replacement is $400.

First time going to Auction Direct after going to different dealer ships looking for a van. I worked with Ivan and he was great! He answered all my questions, showed me a few more vans than what I picked out and bought one..The time I picked it out, test drove it and purchased it was not long at all..went very smooth. Ivan was very honest with me which is hard to find these days. My husband and I will be going back here to purchase more vehicles in the future. I like that you get to try out your vehicle for 100 days and if not satisfied you can return it for another or money back.

When i walked in i didn't have to wait long for service. They had EXACTLY what i wanted in the color i wanted and it was already waiting for me. Todd was great from beginning to end. This is my first time financing a vehicle. I feel like they made it easy and understandable. They were very honest and for someone that doesn't have the best credit, went above and beyond. We bought a Subaru Impreza one week back. Service was very good. Jason and Jared treated us very well. But unfortunately the car was defective from day one. Our own service guy of 15 years detected it. Auction Direct did try their best to fix it. The service guys were not transparent enough. We ended up returning the car - because they ultimately could not fix the oil leak. The return process was extremely smooth and Jason was very co-operative. We had the refund check in 30 mins. Great sales service but not a good service department. My advice - get the car checked by your own garage within the 5 days return policy. I would still recommend Auction Direct as long as you do your part (checking with your garage guy).

I went in on a Saturday morning and had the car I wanted on Sunday afternoon. This is the most transparent buying experience ever. No hassling and game playing (I have to run this by my manager, or finance guy or whatever). I am a single elderly woman and did not feel one moment of intimidation during this process. The sales associate, Collin H., was respectful, knowledgeable about the cars and the process, and he had several options ready for me to look when I arrived that were based on the criteria I gave him. There was no pressure to look at anything out of my price range, which I appreciated. The buying process itself was seamless. Once I decided on the car, they took it from there. Handled everything from registration, new plates, financing, contacting my insurance company while I drank their complimentary coffee and chatted with my friend. Everyone should start here when looking for a vehicle.

Mr. McGhan was a pleasure to work with. Actually, he did all the work and did it well. There was a no pressure atmosphere. Everything was at the buyers pace, but efficient as anyone could imagine. My wife is a certified process engineer who usually explains in specific detail how an operation could be improved upon. I was here on 12/8 to look at a specific vehicle that I had seen advertised. Although I was quite early, Corey McGhan was able to met with me. The vehicle was right at the door, all shiny and ready to drive. During the ride Corey explained the features of the vehicle, explaining a few I wasn't used to. Back at the dealership, all costs were explained, as was the opportunity for dealer financing and in a first in my experience, given the opportunity to purchase an extended warranty. (All other dealers I had experience with had this option only after the actual purchase. I liked it this way. Corey was very helpful, and a no pressure deal was concluded shortly. The car was ready for pick up a day early, and since I had no ride to get there, Corey picked me up at my house to bring me to the dealership. There Corey again went over the vehicle explaining features. I was very satisfied with the experience. This was the second vehicle I had purchased there, and will consider them again in the future.

Our salesman, J.C., was very professional, and had taken the time to become completely knowledgeable about the car we were interested in. He knew all the car's features as well as its history. While they do try to sell you numerous warranties, when we politely declined, there was no pressure at all. J.C. even followed up with us a few days later to be sure the car met our expectations. We bought a quality vehicle at a fair price. We would feel comfortable buying another vehicle there.

I bought a for fusion had issues with it they fixed it then a week later same thing I pay a lot of money for it didn't want a headache so it was under the 100 day mark so I called up they said I can get into another car the day I was there I felt like I had no choice I was pressured into a car I didn't really want the sales guy was great but banks need to give like a 3 day grace period you never know how car is on 10 min test drive I urge everyone to take time make sure its the car you want don't be stupid like me now I driving a car and paying for for 6 yes that I don't like and I'm not happy with

Bought a 2010 jeep liberty two weeks ago. Now passenger front tire is almost bald on the outside of the tire. Also the passenger rear tail light is cracked and moisture is in the light. I've made three appointments and nothing has been done. For a truck with 45k this should not be happening. Will never go hear again.

First of all, I have never been to a car dealership where you had to be escorted behind an iron fence to look at cars! The entire facility is designed to control your cars buying experience. Upon entering the facility you need to walk down a cattle shut where a rude receptionist can capture your information for future use. You are then ushered to a sales person who explains that the price is the price, buy it or leave. After entering the lot you are taken about to look at vehicles with a, "I don't care what you do," attitude. You then are asked to fill out a loan or then abandoned and left to help yourself out. But the worst part, the worst part, was that throughout the entire visit with my fiance not one person, receptionist, sales associate or manger spoke to me, looked me in the face or even shook my hand. It was as if I was not there! I have never been completely ignored in any type of retail before. I shall never, ever go here again.

I thought I found the vehicle that I had been searching for. I finally got to speak with a sales rep not via email. When calling the telephone numbers listed no one answers, leave a message and its like 24+ hours till you get a response. Apparently at the very moment I was on the phone with the sales rep another customer was out test driving the vehicle and then bought it all within 5 minutes of my phone call. They offered me to pay them a $300 finders fee to find another similar vehicle. I declined.

Bought my car here 6 months ago, and recently the drivers side window became separated from the arm/lever due to the adhesive drying out. Had the repair done here on my window. The whole process took 2 hours (1 hour diagnose, 1 hour to sand off old adhesive and re affix with new adhesive). Was surprised when my bill came to 130, as during the diagnosis I was assured by the staff that the most I would pay is $100 deductible since I had bought their warranty. Window works great now though.

The recent Subaru service was good. A previous one was poor, and I needed to go elsewhere. I had 2 oil changes performed on my Mercedes. Both times I developed a leak from the plug that was used. I now bring my Mercedes elsewhere. So, overall the service has been mixed. The purchase process, however, has been very good, so I have recommended it.

After looking for what seemed like forever, I found the perfect vehicle for me on a Sunday morning. I called and verified it was there and went right in to see it. Their salesman Nick greeted me and had the car ready and as he showed it to me he let the vehicle do the selling. Nick was great, he answered all my questions and handled the entire sale even though he was dealing with several customers at the same time. The dealership appeared very professional and even helped me out when I threw a curveball and decided to change the trade in when I saw a second vehicle that I wanted to purchase for my wife. To help me out, they held all the financing until the second day so we could come back and purchase both vehicles at the same time. The entire process went very smooth and I will definitely go back when I'm in the market again. Don't procrastinate, when you see a vehicle online you like go in and buy it...If you wait, it may not be there for very long.

Bought a truck only to find it had a bad tranny that I was told was "normal". They would not fix it and the shop found some other problems with it. They said it was pretty widely known that only the worst cars make it to the "Auction" ad dealers keep all the good ones to sell themselves. Makes sense....

We have purchased 3 cars in the past year from Auction Direct. The sales staff and management were great. Here was the problem.... First, they have a 3 day/500 mile guarantee, sounds great, but if you return the car in the 3 days, you waste your first finance option. They immediately place the loan in effect, therefore, if you return the vehicle, you cannot use the best option. You are stuck with the second best offer. Would like to see them hold the paperwork for the 3 days before submitting the paperwork. And for 2 out of the 3 purchases, I had to follow-up with them paying off my trade in. Both of which were paid off late causing me to fight late payments with my previous finance companies/banks. The service department was horrible. They give you your first free oil change. For me, that came with an hour and a half wait in an empty waiting room even after making an appointment. The service team told me my car that I just bought had a power steering leak and would cost $600 to fix even though not a drop had hit the ground since purchasing it not have I had to a anything to the reservoir. Needless to say a year later, I still have not had a problem with it whatsoever. I was told on my last purchase 4/13, that the service department has been "reorganized". We'll see. Will I be back again....? Yes, but I will be extremely pro-active when the deal is done to protect my own credit to ensure timely trade-in payoff.

I was looking for a newer style Sierra crew cab and had a price that I had to stick to. They didn't have one on the lot that fit my budget at any of the locations so they searched and found me one. Took about 2 weeks which I was fine with. The truck is beautiful. It was very clean and no issues. Have had it for about 6 months now. I see there are some bad reviews out there but keep in mind, a lot of people only give a review if they are unhappy.

We purchased a used Toyota 4 Runner a few years ago at Auction Direct and we were pleased with the process and love the car. That is why we returned. We won't go back again. We had two experiences with 2 Honda's. One we test drove and ASKED if we could leave a deposit and sign paperwork and then take it to our mechanic. We were told "it's ok, don't worry about that until tomorrow when your mechanic sees it". We came back the next day and they had sold the vehicle. We were then told "we will make it right" but the reality was they did nothing. We did test drive a 2nd Honda, pay for it with the 3 day guarantee and take it to our mechanic. It had seven items that did not pass our mechanic's inspection including but not limited to, needing re-alignment, a heat/ac module that did not work, tubing around the door that was torn and coming off, brake fluid that was filthy and wipers that were completely worn out. IF this car went through the highly acclaimed "inspection process" they either did not do a good job of inspecting because it was a used car or just did not bother. We have told many of our friends this story and to our surprise (we thought this would be a one off circumstance) have heard similar experiences about Auction Direct in Victor. We are not sure what changed in two years but it definately has.

Auction Direct is sort of like the fast-food of car dealerships. You don't get a lot of the pressure and annoyances of a typical dealer, but you also give up some of the 'wining and dining' attitude as well. What you do get is a friendly and helpful staff that help you find a used car that up for dealer auction. They will find the exact car with accessories that you want, then bid on it at auction. They will then inspect and fix anything the car needs to bring it to good condition and sell it to you for a modest fee over their 'reserve price.' I don't know what the reserve price is or means, but with the repairs and cleanup they did on my Highlander, I was satisfied with the price and service and would shop with them again.

Vehicles overall seemed in poor condition. One of the vehicles we test drove actually ran out of fuel. Another vehicle they kept trying to push on us showed accident damage on vehicle report. He kept going over a small area on the right front corner panel with some sort of diagnostic tool saying the damage was limited to a certain area. However the readings on the tool didn't match what he was saying they meant. Seemed really shady.

happy with the salesmen and the ease of testing the car. after two days my car needed a corner light and the plastic under tray fell down on one side. it came with the corner light out i know because when i took a right out of the dealership my blinker was blinking really fast. when i brought the car back a few days later the service lady argued with me about it. in the end they replaced it no big deal but the idiot mechanic said i needed a wheel alignment really bad which i did not need at all i had it double checked by a different mechanic. overall happy with the car a couple months go by and i receive a phone call saying my downpayment was lost and i needed to come up with a receipt saying i paid it. went in a separate time and the fella who appraises the trade ins gave me an ultimatum to bring my car back in a week to be able to trade it in. the second car i looked at with a different salesman was in horrible shape and the guy was still trying to sell me on it god bless em.

Our sales rep, Nick, is not to blame. When we arrived we had received two phone calls telling us that WE HAD BEEN APPROVED. We test drove a car...chose it. Then it turns out, after multiple trips home for additional documents etc...we were not approved, though the GM stated we WERE. Not good for us, ...and I guarantee by now over a thousand and counting are the number of people who have heard our story. But again...see NICK..he truly did his best...
