Purchased a CPO A4 from Harold Grant. Far and above the best car buying experience I've had. I not only highly recommend Harold but, highly recommend Audi Exchange over McGrath Audi (or any other Audi dealer). The service department at Audi Exchange is far and above the best run service department I've ever dealt with anywhere. To be that well organized and thorough with the volume of vehicles passing through is quite an accomplishment. It is evident that they are not only well managed but, that the employees genuinely enjoy working there. I've had a couple of minor issues with the vehicle that I purchased and both were cared for immediately and fixed right the first time. Very pleased with the vehicle and the entire experience. Now quit reading this and go buy an Audi from Harold!

Let me first of by saying I am a 26 year old who made the switch from dodge to Audi. And it had been the best decision I've made. The Audi exchange team was extremely knowledgeable. Did not rush me, nor did they push the sale. I will always continue to take my business to the Audi Exchange. Harold got me a deal of a lifetime. And Lucas was the second man that made it even better for my self. And how can you forget a great finance guy like Dan Fernstrom. My experience was great.

first drive home, transmission fault....nobody knows anything about it! of course.three weeks later the vehicle registration comes in the mail, it states "Cumulative Damage"Audi Exchange is a underhanded dealership. if you want ripped off, please shop with them.

I shopped on the internet for the best prices on a low mileage late model Audi A6. I received many hits from the Audi Exchange inventory, so I used their email link to ask some questions. The Internet salesperson Alison Skwarek responded immediately with an email and phone call. The conversation was very pleasant and informative. Alison set me up with an Internet Client Adviser/salesperson by the name of Matt Kahn. This is where the pleasant part of the car buying experience ended. A few days after initial contact, I drove to the dealership to meet with Matt Kahn and look at an A6. I walked into the dealership, which was bright, clean and modern looking. An older gentleman saw me wandering and asked if I needed help. I told him I was supposed to meet with Matt Kahn, so he went and found him for me. From the moment Matt Kahn saw me I could feel the judgement oozing from this guy. His whole expression changed to that of someone who thought I was not worthy of his time. Of this I am positive, facial expressions and body language don't lie. And this guy was as transparent as can be. I pressed on, even though I felt somewhat belittled, and asked if I could see the A6. Matt Kahn said he would go look for it and bring it to the front. He said to go over to the small beverage counter and get something to drink. I did that and stood there for about 5 minutes while the attendant at the counter spent the whole time talking to someone else (some rich North Shore barbie doll). She never even noticed I was there. Before I got impatient and was about to interrupt her, Matt Kahn came back with a crap-eating grin on his face. He informed me that the car was just sold. It took everything in my power not to wipe that smirk off his pompous face. I said "ok thanks for checking" and headed for the door. Matt Kahn then half-halfheartedly asked me if he could help me with another car. I said no thanks, you've helped me enough and walked out. Believe me when I tell you that I did nothing but walk into that dealership and ask for Matt Kahn. The disrespectful way in which Matt Kahn dealt with me was disgraceful. I'm guessing he doesn't even realize he behaved that way because pompous, arrogant people like him rarely ever think there is anything wrong with the way they behave. So, if you are a pompous, arrogant jerk yourself or have so much money that you would be treated differently by this guy, then by all means shop at the Audi Exchange for your next car. But if you are like me, a regular guy, who earned every penny I have and want to spend your hard earned money on a high quality car, I would advise you to avoid this dealership and if not, at least avoid Matt Kahn.UPDATE 2/3/16: Mario Rogic the general manager at Audi Exchange responded to my review very quickly. He offered to have me come back in and be shown how well they really treat their customers and that this incident was an anomaly and not what they condone. I have already purchased another vehicle, but wanted to note that Audi Exchange did respond very quickly and respectfully.

I am an avid car enthusiast who loves cars and when it's comes to cars, I want what I want and I'm not going to settle or take a car on the lot to save $500 or $1,000. I haven't bought a car that was sitting on the lot for as long as I can remember. I have been buying luxurious German cars (Audi's, Porsches', Mercedes', BMW's and Volkswagens) for years and when it comes to cars from someone who knows what they are selling. I have been buying Audi's for years and one of the vehicles I currently have is a 2014 Audi SQ5. I was in the market for a new 2016 Audi S6 and was looking to add another vehicle. I was looking to order a particular car optioned a certain way but had a couple of questions in regards to those options and Audi's "Audi Exclusive" program which gives you the opportunity to tailor a new Audi any way you would like (hundreds of different exterior paint color options separate from the 5-8 standard colors, different interior wood trim inlays, interior colors and much more..) but when I called around several local Audi dealers (I am a resident of South Florida) I could tell those (multiple dealers) were giving me the run around with false information because they wanted me to take an in-stock vehicle in a different color or optioned differently from the way I wanted my car even though I repeatedly told them I wouldn't. I told them from the get go I would be ordering a car unless they could find me exactly what I was looking for (anywhere in the country) and I even told them that I was willing to pay a little bit extra since I knew the car I wanted wasn't going to be readily available. I travel frequently for work and thought maybe I would call an Audi dealership in Chicago near where I have clients and visit every so often, so I did. I called one and got the same responses as the local Florida dealers. I felt like giving up (and almost did) but I figured I would give it one last shot. I finally stumbled upon Audi Exchange in Highland Park, IL. I did some research online and looked for a trust worthy Sales Associate that had good reviews. I found Joey (Giuseppe) Ruffolo. I called and asked for Joey. Right from the moment he answered the phone I had a good feeling and could tell I was dealing with true professional. I told Joey nothing different than any of the (several) previous Audi dealers and told him exactly what I was looking to accomplish. I listed all the options I wanted (Interior color, Exterior color, features, etc, etc). When it came time to order he had informed me that I didn't need the S6 and that I could get what I wanted by ordering an Audi Exclusive 2016 A6 3.0T Prestige (which saved me almost $15,000 from the way I wanted the S6 configured; which even took money away from his commission). Once we had finalized everything he helped me place my order. He broke everything down step by step and made sure to clarify everything before we finalized the whole deal. Once everything was completed and his job was done he went took the extra mile and went out of his way to keep me updated throughout the whole process as my vehicle was built. I wanted an extra accessory on the car and he helped me order that as well. Additionally, there was never any pressure to sell additional features and options which was great. I can go on and on about how great my experience was but I'll summarize it with this... Everything REALLY is top notch at the Audi Exchange. I would STRONGLY recommend going there if you're looking for a car and don't see ANYONE else other than Joey if you're interested in buying. He's knowledgeable, trusting and a true professional in every sense. He made this stereotypical process a truly pleasant car buying experience which has been my best to date. I know when it's time to shop for another Audi you can BET I'll be back to see Mr. Ruffolo at The Audi Exchange! Thanks again for all of your help Joey!

My wife Rachel and I move from New York to Chicago recently. Being New Yorkers and living in Manhattan the past 10 years, we never needed to own a car. When we decided on an Audi Q3 we started calling dealerships. From the beginning, Lucas Kielar, our main contact, was nothing short of outstanding in terms of being responsive and honest. We were quickly able to agree on cost and close the sale. When I went to pick up the car, Lucas was off that day but already alerted his colleague, Dan Kurko of my plans to be in that day and take care of me. Again, Dan gave me the first class treated and spent time going over the vehicle and answering any questions. When I was handed off to Pat Gibbs to go over the financing and the service package, it completed an all around great experience. Because I travel a great deal, I wanted to make sure to have a great maintenance package for my wife. Not two months later, a screw penetrated the tire and rim. Without any delays, Lucas and team coordinated getting my wife a loaner and handling the repair within a day. There are likely others in the service department who we owe our gratitude. In closing, our entire experience has made us loyal to Audi Exchange and the team. Thanks!

I am extremely happy with my new Audi Q5. We had a great experience with our wonderful sales person, Dan Kurko. He easily walked us through the purchase process and made certain I was comfortable using all of the systems in the car. He is very knowledgeable and helpful--when I've had the car in for service or a car wash, he always finds me to say hello and asks If I am still enjoying my Q5. He makes himself accessible and available to answer any questions for me. We recommend Audi Exchange to anyone considering the purchase of an Audi.

Very good experience at the Audi Exchange. I bought a CPO A6 Prestige 3 months ago, and I love it! I've owned many cars (including 3 BMW's, a Cadillac xxx-V, and a Hyundai Genesis 5.0 R-Spec.). I can honestly say it will be difficult to buy anything but an Audi going forward!As for the sales associate, Lucas Kielar was top notch. He was very knowledgeable, passionate and responsive to my emails both before and after the sale. Coming to an agreement on a price for the Audi and for my trade-in was a pleasant one.Regarding the dealership experience, I had two minor critiques but the dealer was very quick to respond, happy to remedy, and I am confident they are addressing my concerns in order to continually improve the buying experience for their customers. What else can you ask for from a dealer?Overall a very good buying experience. I recommend Audi and highly recommend Lucas Kielar. I will certainly contact Lucas from the Audi Exchange first when it's time to trade in my A6.

My experience with the Audi Exchange (and Audi of America) has been pretty frustrating and ultimately a big disappointment.The CPO'd A6 I bought from the Audi Exchange was a vehicle that supposedly had undergone a "thorough 300+ point dealer inspection process"; one so exhaustive that "no other manufacturer can lay claim to a more thorough Certified pre-owned inspection process." Wow, sounds impressive.So, imagine my surprise when, not long after I purchased my car, I learned that it had been in a serious accident and the repairs had not done to spec.I contacted the Audi Exchange about it. At first they denied any knowledge of the accident. But when I brought the car in to be examined, they did admit to knowing about the damage. However, they just hemmed and hawwed and said they didn't think the work looked *too* bad. Bottom line: they said 'you bought a used car' and that was it. I contacted Audi of America. All they did was send me a canned response 'thank you for sharing your concerns' and I never heard from them again. So much for the "pledge to do everything we can to keep the dream alive by offering you an ownership experience that rivals even those of the most exclusive clubs in the world."

he worst experience ever buying a vehicle. Came in on Saturday, they had the car I wanted. Negotiated the deal, pretty much got the price I wanted, they checked my credit report, salesman Al Vigiletti said "good score, nice credit". This was my 5th car that I'm buying in the last 5 years. They couldn't deliver car on Saturday because of bunch of reasons, I kind of fell into it since I thought it is Saturday afternoon and everyone wants to go home, so salesman told me "have an insurance ready on Monday and we'll good to go". I double asked him "are you sure, did Audi/VW financial approved my lease?" his answer was "Believe me, I work here for over 20+ years, I know what Im talking about". So I did spend few hours shopping for a new insurance and spending few hundred bucks setting it up (hopefully they will refund me most of paid money there). And when I called in on Monday to make sure that car is ready to go - there were more bad news waiting. Car NOT ready, not even approved. They wanted to check my credit once again for some reason, when I asked why do you need a second report in 2 days - they couldn't even give a decent reason. Since when VW credit services checks credit 2-3 times in few days just to extend a credit. Obviously that was BIG FAT LIE. Very disappointed, wasted half of my Saturday, and even insured the car that I was never even approved for. Would NOT recommend this dealer to anyone, since this is simply waste of time. You DESERVE a much better service when purchasing 60-70K cars.

I have a 2014 Audi Q7 that has the front windshield icing up on the inside of the car, and the defroster do not deice it., The car has been back to the dealership numerous times and the problem has not been fixed the last time the windshield iced up so bad that it cracked and dealership would not warranty it. Other issues the brakes have squeaked the first week of owning the car and I have gone back to the dealer and was told to push harder on the brake pedal,they still squeak. The belly pan fell off after their tech worked on the car and they didn't want to warranty it either, they wanted to charge me for a new one, after my husband talked to the service writer, my husband told them that they were the only people who worked on the car. They finally replaced it under the warranty. After calling Audi customers service about the windshield problem and getting little results it leads me to writing my review do to the poor service. I will not be buying another Audi and will not recommend one. Annette Ashbacher

Let's just say that after meeting Drew Malone and going through the car buying experience, we were ready to hand over our money to him and Audi Exchange. We made our decision early one to purchase an Audi; however, made the biggest mistake in the beginning of going to a different dealership because of the proximity to our house. Those other guys just screwed it all up for Audi and really tested our loyalty to the brand. I will refrain from using colorful adjectives for those guys since this review is for Drew. We decided to give it another chance because Q7 was the car for us. As we walked into Audi Exchange and met Drew, we were just about ready to give him our money! He was very professional, but not pushy. Very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions and concerns. What impressed us the most of how Drew was in constant communication with us (calls, texts, email) and always available to talk/meet. We travel for work and Drew's availability and flexibility was much appreciated. During our waiting period for the ordered Q7, Drew always kept us up to date on the status of the delivery, so we never felt like we were forgotten till the pick up. What really made Drew standout was how he was able to quickly understand our needs and delivered on them without a hitch. Coming from the corporate world, the experience with Drew and Audi Exchange was top notch professionalism. We absolutely love our Q7 and will only go to Drew for our next cars. Audi Exchange better keep him around; otherwise, we will follow Drew wherever he is.

I have owned a range of cars that fit as competitors to Audi as well as ones that are considered to be a step above and below. At the end of the day, they are all great cars. In most cases, when you spend more than $80K on a car, you are getting a great car/product. The only thing that makes a difference is the dealer; the folks at the dealer, their attention to detail, following through to get you information to make decisions tied to your purchase, not making you feel like all the dealer cares about is the sale, and most importantly the service you receive after the sale. I want to thank Lucas and Ryan for their ongoing efforts along with all the others that made the experience great (Shawn M, Ken L, Mario R). My experience in purchasing my A8L and my sister in law purchasing her Q5 this year is a standard that all dealerships should strive to achieve. All the folks at the dealer were attentive to making sure I was receiving what I needed; not just one salesman. The purchasing experience was at my pace and at my comfort level. And I could tell the dealer focused on meeting each individuals needs in this regard. They understood the product and were willing to tailor the product and deal to suit my needs. Simply put, they care that I am happy and as a guy who buys cars regularly and has family members that buy cars regularly, they have gained my respect and I plan to continue to purchase cars from them whether I live near the dealer or not. First off, I'd like to say THANK YOU to Drew Malone, Bill Gillen, Dan Fernstrom, and Chanelle Dahm. They went out of their way to help make this deal go as smooth as possible, despite the 800+ mile distance between us.Long story short, I drove from PA to IL to purchase a used Mini from Audi Exchange, and the whole experience couldn't have gone any smoother. When I arrived, the car was ready to go, and after a quick test drive to verify the car was ship-shape, it was as simple as handing over the keys to my trade-in, signing the dotted lines, and driving back to Pennsylvania.Again, thank you. I've been thoroughly enjoying the Mini, and I would gladly make the 14 hour drive again to deal with you again.

Let me start by saying, I rarely write reviews. I read reviews all the time but to write one the experience has to be exceptional. My experience at Audi Exchange was just that. I had never owned an Audi or really considered one for that matter. I went there interested in a specific model, the Audi Q5 and wanted to get as much information as possible to make an educated decision. I met Lucas Kieler when I arrived and he was friendly and made me feel comfortable. He was very educated on the features of the car and explained everything and answered all my questions. I purchased the Q5 and I love my car. Lucas has been so helpful the whole way through. He is patient and relaxed and provides a no pressure environment. This is a first for me in car buying if you know what I mean. As for the entire staff at Audi Exchange everyone is so attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend Audi Exchange and Lucas Kieler to anyone interested in purchasing an Audi.

My 10 year old A4 Cabriolet had been used sparingly but was going on a long trip. Brought the car in for a total service to be certain my wife and I would be safe on a 2000 mile highway journey. They came back with a $3500 bill and while a lot of money, I was happy to have the car I love in tip top shape.NOT SO FAST. When I arrived at my destination a loud hum and shimmy began. The local dealer examined it and said $2500 to replace the drive train, repair the mounts and flush the dirt out of the brake fluid! Oh, and by the way, your convertible top is separating from the rear window. Audi recommends replacing the top for $4000. WHAAAAT? This 10 year old car (only 70,000 miles) is now supposed to cost $10,000 to keep on the road. Oh, there is more but the fact is the Audi Exchange never totally checked out the car. The second dealer made it clear that none of the repairs they saw were NEW. They should have been addressed in at the Audi Exchange the first time. I talked to Audi corporate in Detroit who have absolutely no authority to anything.THESE GUYS ARE AWFUL. They are not thorough in the least. Oil change? No problem. Anything more, find another dealer. And, FAST.

Just purchased an Audi certified 2011 A5 convertible with only 25 thousand miles. I would have to say this was the best, easiest car buying experience I ever had. My salesman, Ramzi Amazi, and I actually went to the same local extension of Purdue University, and we laughed and talked our way through the whole process. He also seemed authorized to work his own deal, as there was none of the usual time-sucking car buying process of "let me go talk to my manager" or write down your number and I'll take it to my manager or anything like that. What a pleasure! The finance manager was also great to work with, clearly explaining the add-on type options, giving me time to decide those, and giving me time to determine my ultimate financing approach.I would highly recommend visiting the Audi Exchange, and ask for Ramzi ... a friend of mine already has!

After visiting a number of other Audi dealers in the Chicago area, it was a pleasure to work with Audi Exchange and Lucas Kielar. Lucas and the dealership went the extra mile to acquire from an out of state dealer an A5 with the colors/options I wanted. Lucas was very knowledgeable and he was more than helpful in explaining the refinements in the 2014 A5 compared to my existing 2010 A5. I appreciated the fact that Lucas did not try to "hard sell" me; his approach was to let the car and its features speak for themselves. I found it very refreshing. Lucas and the dealership was also more than competitive in negotiating the purchase price.

I chose to start my Audi car search at the Audi Exchange due to the plethora of 5 star reviews on cars.com, dealerrater.com, etc. My search started there and ended there because Ramzi Amawi and The Exchange met my expectations from the very get-go: from the first email I sent them inquiring about a Q5 to the handshakes I received before I drove off with my new Q5. In a few words, they are simply amazing. And yes - I'm talking about a car dealership! When I first started my search for a Q5, inventory of a Q5 3.0T was low - these babies were selling like hotcakes! The Exchange didn't have anymore Q5 3.0Ts on the lot. So Ramzi patiently went through the list of Q5s that they were expecting to receive in 3-4 weeks until we found one that I was happy with. He offered me an incredible price for it and I was sold. During the month wait, Ramzi always responded right away to my emails and texts asking him for status updates - even on his days off. After an excruciating month of waiting, my car finally arrived! The paperwork, trade-in, and financing (all the things most of us dread about buying a car) went so smooth and quick, the whole transaction was done in less than an hour. Dan Fernstrom in finance is such a great guy, he is definitely one of the reasons why buying at car at the Exchange was so painless. If you're in the market for an Audi, you won't regret going to Ramzi at The Exchange.

You have to reach out to Lucas Kielar! BY FAR the best purchase experience I have ever had. I have dealt with the Audi Exchange in the past, it is the place to go on the North Shore, but Lucas is exceptional! He is knowlegeable, patient, businesslike, and NOT pushy. He listens to what you want and makes it happen. I bought used, gave him a wish list, and he never bothered me with emails or calls unless they were right on target with what I was looking for. He treated me as though I was buying new, and gave me a thorough "tour" and "lesson" on my car once I bought. He followed up after, and even noticed and pointed out things that weren't perfect that I may have never known about. The whole team there is awesome, but go to Lucas to buy new or used!

My wife and I had always been open to purchasing a vehicle out-of-state if the car we wanted presented itself. We found a great Audi TT at the Audi Exchange and decided to give it a shot. The salesperson I spoke with on the phone (Lucas Kielar) was very responsive and addressed the questions I had, and within an hour or so, we agreed on pricing and timing of our trip out to Chicago to pick up the car. Once we arrived to the dealership, Lucas greeted us as we exited our taxi (from the airport), and the vehicle was detailed and ready for our delivery. The car was just as described, both on their website and from my conversation with Lucas on the phone. Paperwork was completed timely, and we were off in our new (used) car back home. Overall, it was a great dealership experience. Very professional, but with a nice personal touch. Wouldn't hesitate to buy another vehicle from the Audi Exchange, thanks to the dealership and our salesman.

I work in a school and decided to do some car shopping when I had the time in advance of an eventual car purchase. When I went into the Audi Exchange not only was I not sure how quickly I wanted to buy a car, I was considering everything from the Audi A4 to the Mazda 6 (the car I was driving). Obviously I was not the most serious of buyers when I was matched with Ramzi. You would never know this, however, from the way Ramzi treated me; it was like I was a customer that had bought 10 cars from him. He listened carefully to my needs, answered all the questions I had, and didn't apply any high (or even medium) pressure sales tactics. Thanks to the discussions we had I ended up with a fantastic car that exactly met my needs and which, thanks to the volume of cars available at the Audi Exchange, was available on site. There's no question that I would happily go back to Ramzi, and I feel that if I have questions or problems in the days to come that he, and the Audi Exchange, will be there for me.

We bought a 2011 certified Audi Q5 from Drew Malone, Audi Exchange in October 2013. This was a first time out - of - state internet sales experience. Once the sales price was agreed, the process went extremely smooth. Drew fielded all the questions, inquiries that we threw his way. My husband is a true "car guy" so this was not an easy feat! Drew and dealership also offered to assist with making any necessary travel arrangements. After getting the Q5, which we are loving, there were a few missing items: onboard tool kit and jack. Drew took care of getting these to us promptly with only one phone call. Drew, and the Audi Exchange dealership have been very professional and helpful. I would highly recommend them both for both on site and internet sales. Would be even greater if they were closer, so we could use them as our primary dealership!

Dealing with a salesman who possess absolutely 100% integrity was a nice change of pace for us and needles to say very pleasant. Being a woman, I appreciate when men in the auto industry (whether it be dealers or mechanics) don't assume I am uneducated about auto repairs or purchases. Having had a bad experience at another Audi dealer, located within only a one-mile walk of my home, I decided not to give them my business. The Audi Exchange, and specifically Lucas Kielar, came recommended to me. After the 27-mile drive to Highland Park, I was pleasantly surprised. I had already done the research as well as driven a Q5, so I knew walking in what I wanted. Lucas was friendly, approachable, knowledgable and very patient in answering questions. I told him we already knew what we wanted and were ready to order if not in stock. He was extremely helpful with placing the order as well as going through any options we may not have already thought about. I appreciated his demeanor and he was not pushy since he understood that we had already thought about what we wanted. That was very refreshing, and now I know where to go for all my future Audi purchases. Yes, it was worth going the additional 26 miles to get excellent service from Lucas!

After a lot of research I ordered my new TDI Q5 from Lucas Kielar in October 2013 and received it in January. The experience was phenomenal. I initially contacted Lucas early in 2013 but due to some health issues I had to put my purchase on hold for several months. Most advisers would write you off but not Lucas. When I was ready to move he worked with me on researching options and pricing, recommending selections based upon my needs rather than inflating the price and working through all of the details BEFORE I committed. Alex Jung was welcoming, personable, professional, knowledgable and respectful. Alex was persistent without being intrusive as many car sales people are. So many vehicle purchase transactions that I have had in the past have seemed adversarial, but we had a pleasant time purchasing our vehicle from Alex. It seems odd to say that we had a pleasant car shopping experience, but from our initial interactions with Alex through signing our final paperwork with Dan Fernstrom in finance, it truly was a good experience. Since I live downtown, a significant amount of my interation with the Exchange was over the phone and email with Drew. He was incredibly responsive. Not only was Drew thorough in answering all of my questions, but he made sure to answer those questions that I forgot to ask. At the end of the day, I showed-up to the Exchange on a Saturday with a check in-hand written out for our agreed-upon purchase price. On Cars.com I found a nice-looking, nicely-optioned 2008 BMW 535xi that Audi Exchange was offering for sale. The posted asking price was in the range I was looking for and that I would consider reasonable. I worked with a salesman named Alex Jung, who was very courteous and helpful. He answered all of my questions regarding car options and the condition. I was a bit hesitant over the mileage which was 86,000 and so I thanked Alex for his help and said I would keep looking. He was very professional and said no problem and if I changed my mind and wanted to reconsider the BMW to let him know. I looked around for another week, but didn't find anything with the options which looked as nice as the BMW at Audi Exchange. I decided to make an offer that took into account my unease over the mileage, and we ended up shaking hands at a number pretty close to what I asked for. It was a smooth process. Alex continued to be helpful after the sale, right up to the time my transport company picked up the car. The car was exactly as Alex described. I would buy from them again.

I went with the whole intention to buy a Q5 2014. Unfortunately the appraised my car $10,000 below NADA price. When I asked how they got that number, because Audi and a BMW dealerships in Westmont offered to me a good value for my car, they did know what so say. They starting taking about the auctions somewhere in Mayfield, PA, and in another place. When I asked about the NADA or KBB trade in price, they just told me "Ask then to buy your car...". Conclusion: I will never return to any car dealership with the "Exchange".

As usual, the service department is absolutely outstanding. Gil Klinger is a very professional service advisor who communicates and goes out of his way to make sure your experience is a good one. I had a loaner car ( a sweet new A6, btw! ) and my car was done a few hours before I was even due back to pick it up. The waiting room and refreshments are always top notch, just like the service here. My car is washed and the interior is cleaned when I pick it up. It was even pulled inside the waiting area/service bay so that I could quickly jump in it to get home in time for dinner. Once again, this dealership has shown why it is so successful both in sales (see Drew Malone for used or new cars, great guy!) and service. When you treat your customers the way the Exchange does, and in the environment it provides, it easy to see why people will go out of their way to patronize this business. A+++ once again!

Worst service experience ever. Greg in service is a complete a**hole. He wouldn't talk to me about the damage his service team did to my $60,000 car because the "weather was too nice". The initial walk around for my car cams back perfect mind you when I brought it in and really nothing I wanted fixed was actually fixed. My car sat there for a week to get cleaned. So furious! Will never go back there again and I've been a loyal Audi customer for years. Just because I'm young doesn't mean I'm inferior or have less to spend than anyone else. They messed with the wrong person. DON'T GO TO THIS DEALER!

In the past I have always been excited when purchasing a new car, but dreaded the actual ordeal of purchasing a car and going through stereotypical pushiness that comes associated with going through a dealership. My perception of this has done a 180 degree turn after purchasing a car yesterday from Lucas Kielar at Audi Exchange in Highland Park. After researching cars and finding a good match, I walked into Audi Exchange preparing to go to battle making sure I wasn't pushed into a car I didn't want, and offered a ridiculously bad price. I couldn't have been more wrong, instead I was greeted with a friendly attitude, an extremely knowledgeable salesman that answered ALL of my questions, and.... I was presented with all of my options in terms of vehicle and features versus attempting to push me into something that would make him/ the dealer the most margin. I walked out the dealership with a car I absolutely love at a very fair price, and was treated with respect the whole time. When the time comes to purchase again I can't see going to another dealer, or not working with Lucas again. I will be recommending him to all of my friends and family. GREAT overall experience!

Working with Drew Malone was hands down the best car buying experience we have ever had. From the first time he contacted me until we picked up the Q7 Drew was at our disposal. On his days off and late at night he would respond to emails, phone calls, and texts. From the very beginning he offered us a great deal. Other salesmen played games and getting an offer was difficult, but with Drew his very first offer was great. He was always patient and eager to please. He went out and found the exact car we wanted and had it within a few days. As soon as we arrived to pick-up the car he wanted to make sure we got out quickly and went to help with finishing up the detailing. That is going above and beyond. He took his time going over the features of the vehicle and has been in contact with us several times asking if we were happy with the vehicle and if there was anything else he could do. He is a pleasant person to deal with and will definitely be getting a call when I go to buy my next car. We came in with a check from our personal Chase branch and were ready to do a deal. Dan said he may be able to get us a better rate than the 2.79% and ran some numbers and came back with an approved rate of 1.9%, still through Chase. Thats a big difference and was well worth the time we spent with him. Dan and Drew made the car buying experience excellent. I expected since we were buying an Audi that there would not be much negotiating room and we were pleasantly surprised with the deal we received. Other dealerships would only offer half of what Drew offered us off the MSRP. Not only that, other dealerships had sales people that were quite arrogant. Hopefully Drew remains his pleasant self and stays at the Audi Exchange because I would not want to buy a car from anyone else. We live in Palos Heights which is a good 45-50 miles away from the Audi Exchange, in Highland Park, but it was well worth the drive to get the treatment that we received. We could have went down the street 5 miles to the Orland Park Audi, but there sales people were no where near as nice. They lied and said they were a Costco qualified dealership, which according to Costco was a lie. Orland will do and say whatever to get your business, but Drew and everyone I have come into contact with at the Audi Exchange has been very courteous and professional.

Once the car got to the dealership, Drew worked with me as I handled a slow bank wiring process. On delivery day, he went the extra mile and picked me up from Chicago and drove me to the dealership to pick up the car. We went to the Audi dealership on a fact finding mission more than to purchase a new car. Mr. Ramzi Amawi met us at the door and introduced himself. He sat with us to listen to our needs asking questions so he could provide us with the best possible information for us to make an informed decision. He did select three Audi Q5's for us to look at and one I fell in love with. I had a 2010 Nissan Murano and loved that car but the Audi Q5 gave me a more secure, better feeling. I was sold! Ramzi found out what our trade-in value would be and it was very fair. We explained our top dollar amount for payments and they made it happen. Now that is pure and simple magic! This was the absolute first time car buying was not a drudgery but a rather pleasant experience. My husband and I had done some online research about a used vehicle that was at this dealership. We were greeted enthusiastically by Ramzi. We shared some friendly conversation with him and discussed the information he knew about the vehicle. He was always very professional and courteous even when presented with a few obstacles along the way. He kept in contact via phone and email to ensure that I all options had been explored in order for me to make this purchase. He has continued to make himself available for any questions and concerns even after the purchase. Dan was very nice and very thorough when going over all the paperwork and details during the actual purchase.The only "ding" I would place in my "overall experience" would be to say while we were treated nicely and checked on frequently, we were kind of left on our own to figure out the "bells and whistles" of the vehicle. So we have actually had to gather most of our information from the books provided. Overall, thus far, I am enjoying my very first Audi. It is an A4 Cabriolet convertible and my introduction to this brand was great because of this dealership. Thank you Ramzi and Dan! My next visit will definitely be to purchase a brand new one, just gimme a couple of years!

Ramzi immediately addressed my needs and was very helpful in finding a car that I desired and was in a fair price range. His work was of the utmost quality; he even went above and beyond my expectations to retrieve service reports for our vehicle from another dealership. I was under the impression that when you went to a high class dealership, you should would get high class service and honesty. Well apparently I was wrong. I went to Audi to purchase one of their used vehicles. It was a 2008 Acura RDX with 41,000 miles. I was informed that this vehicle had went through a 100 point inspection and had a clean carfax. Well after working the deal and taking it home, it was only two days later when the problems started. I decided to take the vehicle into a actural Acura dealership, because the oil light had come on. The dealer told me just what I had thought, the oil had not been serviced. They also brought to my attention that the transmission fluid was low and it had a break light out. One hundred point inspection from Audi huh! I walked out of there with a $389.00 bill. This car was purchased for me and my wife to take road trips and bike rides out of town. We were leaving for Canada the following day and thank God something made me take that car in. Always go with your gut. So one would have thought the troubles had ended. Wrong! We are now two months in with this car and we made a shocking discovery. She had a friend that worked at Carmax that told her they had a vehicle in that she originally wanted in the begining. The Acura was her second choice. Well carmax decided to do an appraisal and we were shocked at what they found. The car had stuctural damage to the back end. The trunk had been rewelded on and the quarter panel had been replaced. We could not beleive it. One hundred point inspection did not catch that. We bought this car for $21000.00. Carmax appraised this vehicle for $12,000.00, only two months after we purchased it. Talk about a slap in the face. To conclude, I will never buy from this dealer again. I will probably never buy an Audi because of this as well. They did nothing when I reported the first issue that I had and I don't have the energy to go though this one with them either. I will probably just have my lawyer to contact them and take it from there. Please be aware of any car that they sell that is AS - IS. I will almost gaurantee that they took it in as a trade and threw it right on the lot. I take that back. They may wash it first.Justin Williams

My son and I were shopping for a car for him to take to college. Ramzi took the time with us to explain the Audi we were interested in as well as answer all our questions. We left his store to look at another car and he did not pressure us to buy the car we liked at his store without first checking out others. I received a phone call from Ramzi a day after our purchase asking if everything was OK with the car. That may be a little detail, but to me it showed a level of sincerity not often found. Would definitely buy another car from Ramzi.

I came into the dealership to look at a used Audi Q5. Despite being relatively young, I was treated with respect and presented with multiple options that were available to me. The staff were very professional, friendly and informed about the vehicles. While the specific car I was interested in purchasing was not available on site on the specific day I visited, Ramzi was kind enough to provide me with the most similar car they had available to test drive. While I was out for a test drive, he pulled another car around to show me what the interior of the car I was interested in purchasing looked like. Throughout the process I was not pressured to make a quick decision and was given full transparency of how quickly cars were being sold and the rationale behind the price. I was extremely satisfied with the experience I had purchasing my car and would return to the dealership and Ramzi to purchase any cars in the future.

I had literally been looking for an S4 for about 5 years but could never find the one that was the right combination of miles, year and price. I found one that looked like it could be close at the Audi Exchange, (I live in Minneapolis) and started a conversation with Ramzi. After being semi-ignored by my local dealerships, and even told "good luck finding that" by one-- I wasn't overly optimistic. I sent Ramzi an idea of the numbers I was looking for. He later called me to tell me he was "close." By the end of the night, we had a deal, and it was even better than I could have hoped. I am getting married, buying a house, and no doubt kids not too far down the road. I told Ramzi that this car was now or perhaps never for me, and he put together a deal and made it happen in less than a day. A six hour ride home to Minneapolis in MY new S4 was a pleasure after dealing with Ramzi and Ryan--good people and they tell it like it is.

Lucas was a wonderful salesperson. I never once felt pressure to buy the car as I usually do from other dealers. He was extremely kind and patient. I went in on the premise that I just wanted some info about the A5 but I told him I was sure I wasn't going to buy this car. He showed me everything that would help me to decide on what type of car was best for me to buy. Lucas really knows his cars-especially Audis! After our visit and my visiting other dealerships:Mercedes and BMW there was no question that I was sold on the Audi because of Lucas's knowledge and the to e he took with me. He actually gave me his cell phone, if I had any questions before I bought the car! After I bought the car, the quality of customer service that Lucas provided was beyond impressive! Every time I texted him within 30 seconds he answered me. My kids don't even respond to me nearly that quickly. My experience at the Audi Exchange could not have been better. I was in the market for a premium sedan, new or used, and was heading out to see what was available and in my price range. Audi Exchange was along my way, and I was curious to see the A7 and check what else might be suitable. Audi was just one line I would consider. It was a busy Saturday, and I ended up working with the GM, Mario. He showed me the A7 (a wonderful car) and some high end Mercedes they had taken in trade which I had asked about because I saw them on the lot. I didn't like those specific ones, and I asked Audi to call me when an A7 or A8 became available in a specific color. After I left, I received a call literally within minutes from Ramzi Amawi, a sales representative, who found a top of the line Audi where a deal had just fallen apart on a high-demand, high-end car. Ramzi was congenial, courteous, and thoroughly knowledgeable about Audi. We got along great, even though I have 30 years on him. He is a great asset to the dealership, and I recommend Ramzi and Audi Exchange unreservedly and wholeheartedly. It was a wonderful few days when I tried out the car and made the transaction. My wife and I are really happy with this purchase. In contrast, I had stopped earlier in the week at the Acura dealership in Libertyville to see the new 2014 premium car they had. I was astonished that despite sitting in their showroom model and hanging around for a few minutes, no salesman asked me whether I had any questions. I felt very disrespected, so I left. I certainly won't be shopping at that Acura dealership in the future.

I sent in a request on online on the morning of 4/10 and within an hour I had a phone call from the Manager and an email reply assigning me to Ramzi Amawi. Car buying is usually a slow painfull process. Thanks to Ramzi and his knowledge of the product and customer service level, he made the most easist and enjoyable process. The process started over the phone on Saturday evening after the store closed and finished on monday evening after the store closed. When the time came that my car was ready I was not able to come to the dealership, so Ramzi delivered the car right to my home, which is an hour drive from the dealership! He took the time to show me all the features of my new A6 and made sure I was comfortable using them. He pre-programmed many features so I wouldn't have to do it and he synced my phone to the car. He was polite, efficient and had a desire to make sure that my purchasing demands were met. We got the numbers hashed out and they had to dealer trade for my vehicle. Lucas kept us informed as to status as the car made its way from Germany to Chicago; emailed us pictures as soon as it arrived at the dealership, spent loads of time going over all of the functions with my wife (her car) and me, and was so POLITE! He has called twice to follow-up, and last week, when I had my Q-7 in for service, Lucas found out about it and called me to ask if he could help in any way. Extraordinary. Audi, the Audi Exchange and Lucas are all top notch.

My first contact with the Audi Exchange was with Ryan Meegan in 2010 when we were looking for a used Audi for my 16 year old twins to drive. Ryan was extremely cooperative and advised us that he would be on the lookout for a low mileage A4 that Audi could certify in our price range. He asked us to be patient. Within 2 weeks he called to advise us that he had taken in a 2006 black A4 with 40,000miles that Audi would certify. The most appealing attribute of the dealership was that there was no negotiating and that Ryan stayed within the pricing parameters we had discussed. When we had concluded our discussions he introduced us to Ramzi Amawi who Ryan assured us would follow up on all the details of the sale. We found Ramzi to be very knowledge and easy to work with.Ramzi kept in touch with me after the purchase of the A4 to introduce me to the othe Audi models. When my lease on my Cadillac CTS was close to expiration Ryan made arrangements for me to test drive an A6, A7 and S6. Ramzi handled all of the details and I decided the A6 Prestige was the right car for me. All of the involved people at the Exchange made the purchase of the car painless and a very pleasant experience. Ramzi introduced me to the service manager and his team has been very efficient in explaining the A6 functions.

I'm pleased to be a first-time owner of an Audi. After first visiting Lexus and Infinity, I wanted to see what Audi had to offer. Upon entering the door, I was greeted by a smiling Ramzi Amawi. As an long-time Audi owner, and engineering graduate from Purdue University, he had credibility as he talked about "why Audi", including Quattro, resale value and overall driving experience. Not only was he friendly, but extremely knowledgeable about all the Audis at the Audi Exchange, both new and used. Typically purchasing a car is not the best experience, but Ramzi changed that. I initially contacted Ramzi on-line to schedule an appointment to see a certified pre-owned Audi Q5. Ramzi was in contact before my husband and I showed up and was extremely attentive and pleasant when we were at the dealer. We immediately knew we wanted the car and Ramzi quickly worked with us to finalize the deal. Since we test drove the car during lunchtime, we asked if we could come back after work to finalize all paperwork. Ramzi was extremely accomodating and understanding. He sent the car to get detailed and when we came back, he walked us through the car features. All paperwork was completed quickly and we were on our way with our new Q5. Shortly after bringing the car home, as we were showing the car to our neighbors, the passenger visor clip broke. I called Ramzi and he was quick to respond. I brought the car back, and it was immediately replaced. While I waited, Ramzi stopped by to make sure we were satisfied with the car and asked again if we had any questions. We truly appreciate the experience we had with Ramzi and the Audi Exchange.

We recently purchased a new Audi from John Hinojosa at the Audi Exchange. He was enthusiastic, polite, knowledgable and made the experience pleasant. I have shopped and purchased many autos in the past and am aware of many techniques unscrupulous dealers use. I had knowledge of vehicle cost, dealer cost, holdback and the current inventories of Chicagoland dealers. I contacted John and there was no pressure, no haggling, no nonsense, he didn't have to ask a manager to make a deal. We came in and he showed us a number of vehicles that we were interested in and others available. The F & I manager Dan Fernstrom made presentations of the additional products offered and was not pushy or obstinate about it. John Hinojosa our salesman also spent over two hours demonstrating all of the features of the vehicle with a followup visit scheduled. The premises are clean, the employees are well mannered, a very open format and there are nice amenities in the customer waiting area. The general manager Mario Rogic communicated with us later and was very helpful in following up a positive experience.

My husband and I were considering buying a new Audi Q7. They are hard to find in Wisconsin, so, we looked online for a dealer in Illinois. The Audi Exchange not only had the specific color I wanted, but it was also equipped with exactly the extra bells and whistles that we had thought about adding. When I called to inquire about the car, I spoke with Ramzi Amawi. He was very helpful, and immediately offered to send us information. He was very polite, not pushy at all. We made an appointment to see the car 2 days later. We were both pleasantly surprised at the amount of time Ramzi spent explaining the capabilities of the Q7. He answered all of our questions, and gave us a few demonstrations on how to utilize some of the car's features. We weren't previous Audi owners, so, we also appreciated the information on what makes an Audi different from it's competitors. We were so impressed, we bought the vehicle that day. Ramzi made the experience comfortable and seamless. It's been 2 weeks since we bought the car, and Ramzi has continued to provide great service. He's offered to go through the car's features with us again. He also helped us coordinate an appointment to get the interior/exterior protective productive applied to the car, and to get the windows tinted. We were in the market for a new 2013 A4. I found Ramzi at the Exchange through reviews on here and other websites, and I can confirm that his positive reputation is well deserved. We had a very specifically optioned car in mind, so I called all of the dealers in the Chicagoland area to find out who could offer us the best price. Ramzi was very straight forward and extremely easy to work with. He gave us exactly what we wanted without any hassle at the lowest price around. He was responsive and respectful of our needs. His deep knowledge of the product allowed him to suggest we tweak our specifications a bit in a way which ended up yielding us greater savings for a better optioned car. He was not pushy; his suggestion simply made the most sense. Ramzi was true to his word and everything was delivered above our expectations. Ramzi called us a week after we took the car home to make sure we were satisfied. Went there interested in a 2011 BMW 335i white convertible - VIN WBADX7C53BE260506. Initially spoke to Lucas Kielar - sales person. Car looked great. Has been sitting on the lot for over 3 months - CARFAX showed an accident - just described as a right side impact. Priced below KBB, naturally. So I asked Lucas what is the story with the accident (since the car was a local trade-in). He says he doesn't know much... But he starts bragging about how their top mechanic drove the car for 10 days as a personal car, how the car passed an EXTENSIVE mechanical inspection and it is FLAWLESS. The story about the accident is simple - former owner hit the central island in a gas station - cosmetic damage - repaired professionally. We come to a price agreement - I'm ALMOST ready to put pen to paper - but I want to see the car on the lift. PLEASE READ ON: I see the right rear tire inner edge worn to the wire - HUGE ALIGNMENT problem - that's the impact side - I ask a mechanic what's up - he admits the car is UNSAFE AND MOST LIKELY HAS FRAME !!! DAMAGE. Lucas disappears ... BILL GILLEN the Used Car Manager comes RUNNING and starts yelling at me that the deal is off ! I say - put it on the alignment rack - I want the car - just put in the contract that you will fix it. He says no, that's it , we're done. I ask to see the the General Manager - he says no. I insist, start raising my voice - he gets Mario Rogic - I'll be fair - nice guy, polite, nothing like BILL GILLEN (belongs in a garbage truck dealership). He says this car is very dangerous to drive (I drove it twice, who knows how many other suckers did).I asked him if it's normal for a dealership that represents a premium brand like Audi to try to RIP OFF customers. You REALLY think they didn't know the car was with frame damage or at least some vital suspension components bent ??? I caught that INSTANTLY. And it's normal for BILL GILLEN to start yelling at me when I discovered he's a crook ?Bottom line - Would you like to be SAFE ? Would you like to not throw 35K on a car that's UN DRIVABLE ? Do you want to be conned ? I think Audi should look for HONEST DEALERS to represent them. Mario Rogic is a nice guy. BILL GILLEN and to a lesser extent Lucas Kielar are KNOWINGLY double crossing people. I highly recommend this dealership and Ramzi in particular if your are shopping for a pre-owned Audi. These guys are very attentive with great follow through and very flexible. Don't be shy about negotiating a better price for yourself as this is a reasonable dealership able to accommodate reasonable requests. They did a great job helping me with financing and secured the best possible rate I could find. Best customer service I have experienced not only in purchasing a car, but anywhere. Ramzi Amawi and the rest of the Audi Exchange staff made me feel like I was buying an Audi R8 (List price $250,000.00) even though it was actually a 6-year old Audi A4. My wife is a Japanese where the customer service phrase is not "the customer is always right" but "The customer is God". She felt, without a doubt, that this was the best customer service and sales experience she has ever had outside of Japan and that it compared with the best of the service offered in that country that is legendary for service. Our car looked brand-new thanks to the superb detailing and these guys provided us with new rear brakes since the ones on the car looked like they might need replaced fairly soon. We got a price WAY below KBB. Ramzi made us feel comfortable at every turn and my four-year old daughter was kooky for him. That should tell the tell right there. We were "wowed" You will be, too. Special mention to Dan Fernstrom for making the financing part easy, breezy for scheezy. Thank you!!! We will buy every car we ever get in the future here even if it's not an Audi.

I was really not searching for a vehicle until my 2004 Nissan Murano was hit while it was parked overnite. It turned out to be a total loss by the insurance company. Once I started reading the online reviews, I wanted to test drive the Audi Q5 3.2T. When I arrived on a Saturday morning, I was greeted by Ramzi Amawi. He immediately took me in his hands and we went for a test drive in the Q5. We had a follow up appointment the following Tuesday and I walked out with a pre-owned 2010 Audi Q5. Ramzi was a class act and my experience at the Audi Exchange in Highland Park was great.

Ramzi is kind and very professional. He consistently goes out of his way to make sure that you are satisfied. After buying a CPO, there was notan iPod connector that came with mine so Ramzi gave me a brand new one that came out of his own personal car.

My husband and I were shopping for a new Q7. We drove up to the dealer and there were no other customers there. We walked around outside for 10 minutes, no one came out to talk to us. We went inside the dealer, walked around and looked at all of the cars, no one talked to us. We stood by the brochures for a few minutes, no one talked to us. We went back outside and walked the rest of the lot, no one came out to talk to us. I should mention there were a ton of salespeople inside, but none even bothered to look up when we were inside. After 20 minutes we decided to leave, totally disgusted. We drove an hour to the Audi dealer in Napervile and 3 hours later had bought a new Q7... Cash. Don't know what they were judging us on in Highland Park, but they lost an easy$56,000 and any referral we would ever give. Drive the extra miles and go to Naperville, it will be worth he drive.

My wife and I purchase a certified 2008 Audi TT in June 2010. After getting the vehicle home we noticed a small ding directly on a crease below the drivers mirror. Upon further inspection by a body shop it was clear that the dealer had tried to perform a paintless dent repair on it. If looked at with the right light there are waves in the door skin from the equipment used to try and repair the ding. After contacting the dealership we were told to bring the car in for them to look at it. After a couple of days and a promise by the new car manager and our saleman Bob that they would make it right we were ultimately told that it was our problem. If the dealership had even offered to split the cost of a proper repair it would have been at least something. Instead they offered to let us have it fixed at their body shop for full price.

I purchased a new S5 from this dealer. After 3 months, they have failed to return a set of extra tires from my trade in. I now have a formal complaint filed with Audi America, even they are unable to get this dealer to respond. I would not recommend this dishonest dealer.

Quick Diagnosis. Work is done quickly and well. I was there once with what turned out to be a bad wheel bearing. When I got there, one of the guys rode around with me for 5 or ten min. in August heat, closed windows, no a.c. so he could hear noise. These guys never condescend or act as if the problem is my fault. Positive experience every visit. I live downtown with Fletcher Jones 1 mile away and I'll drive up to Highland Park for an oil change.
