This was my first car purchase (I grew up in the city) and I had a TON of questions that Chip answered with complete patience and kindness. He was able to seamlessly acquire a car for me from another dealership despite the low volume of vehicles across the Northeast. If you’re looking for an Audi, Chip is your guy! Maxine in finance was also so lovely to work with as well. This process was all very new to me and she guided me through every step. I am posting this review after a year and a half of owning my new vehicle. I have been driving for almost ten years and never before had a flat tire. With this brand new vehicle, I have had 3 flat tires within a year and a half keeping me on the side of the road in the dark for hours. I know other people who have had audis, and many complain about getting flat tires. I always now bring up this safety concern whenever someone asks me if I like my vehicle. It is a completely unsafe situation that the managers are disregarding to help resolve. Edit to my review based on management saying that they “made every effort to assist me”. The manager has not even called us back! We have been trying to get in touch with the right individual, and they take days to call back and then say sorry there isn’t anything we can do. For a new car to have this many flats is crazy. I am a very careful driver and there isn’t anyone I know has had this many issues as I have.

I live upstate in Poughkeepsie, NY but I found a specific car I was looking for at AUDI MENDHAM in NJ. A 2020 AUDI S5 Coupe. I called to set up a day and time to come look at the car and they held it for me with no hassles. When I came in to check it out, they had it waiting for me front and center, shiny and gleaming, filled with gas, and ready for me to take it out for a spin. Bonnie Stelletell, our AUDI Brand Specialist, handed me the keys and away I went. The car looked and performed beyond my expectations. Long story short, we made a deal that same day, I traded in my 2018 A5 and drove home in the car of my dreams. I could not be happier with the attention, courtesy, professionalism and caring I received throughout the entire experience from Bonnie, Jim Vargo and Mike in finance. They are the most accommodating and genuinely caring dealership I have ever dealt with and this is my 3rd AUDI purchase. Most people write a review, either when they have difficulty with the purchase process or feel that they have not gotten an adequate deal response. I intended to write this review because I had an excellent experience and I think more people should write positive reviews. My review is biased, as I've been treated well by this dealership for many years. This has been my seventh Audi with Audi of Mendham in 10 years. The first four were leases and the last three were purchases. My last dealings with this dealership was in February of this year when I bought my A8L. I ordered a Q7 in April of this year. The car came in in late September. Bonnie, mouth sales person knew that I would be coming in to do all the paperwork on Saturday that Winsett dental he was my birthday. On arrival to the dealership, supplies me with a birthday cake. The entire purchase process was very easy with no major pitfalls. The entire staff, administrative, sales and service were pleasant and treated people with a professional attitude. I would recommend this dealership without any hesitation. I recommend my sales person, Bonnie or anyone else at Mendham. You have one very loyal and customer for life.

Continuous problems with the tires and wheel hub. The car has a propensity for xxxx/tire damage. I would suggest not buying this car unless you plan to visit the dealership soon. The tire insurance does not cover side impact so don't waste you moneySalesperson (Bonnie Stelletell) was very nice but unresponsive when the problems started. I asked the owners/management of the dealership to call me and of course they never did. Let's see what happen when the NJ Lemon law process start. I would not buy a car from Audi.Buyer beware.

I returned my A4 at the end of the lease and moved on, as I planned to, with leasing a different make of car (likely a MB). I was, literally, at a nearby MB dealer and waiting on final lease pricing when I had to drop off the Audi on the last day of the lease and met Sam Johnson. Sam was polite, helped me with turning in the car and answered a couple of questions which allowed me to go back to the MB dealer better armed to negotiate my price. I wasn't completely comfortable and bailed on that deal and came back to speak with Sam the next day. Sam never "put the sell on" and that allowed me to calmly reassess my Audi experience and the newer models. Bottom line: what's NOT to like about cars in the class of MB and Audi? The difference on this experience was Sam's approach. I don't know him, hadn't spoken with him before, but we clicked. By the way - I am a big fan of architecture and love the facility. The line up of the cars inside and the night time indoor lighting is a great touch. Well done!

My experience was exceptionally good. All the people I met at Audi of Mendham were nice and professional, it was a pleasant experience. After 2 weeks of back and forth agony with the insurance and autobody companies they decided my beloved car was totaled. I was grieving but Bridgewater Audi made me whole again. Having owned manual transmission BMWs for the last 30 years I was new to Audi. The entire staff was extremely knowledgable and helpful. They stayed late to close the deal and I drove out very satisfied with a brand new S5 quattro with manual transmission. :)

We just purchased our 2015 Q7 certified pre-owned from Audi Mendham (one of their loaner vehicles). Our sales person Jim Foster was great to work with and helped us get the vehicle we wanted. The entire process was a very pleasant experience and we were treated professionally and respectfully the entire time. When we arrived to pick up the Q7, it was just perfect. It looked brand new and almost flawless! I want to mention something that Audi Mendham and Jim did for us after purchasing the vehicle and before delivery. Even though the vehicle of course had very low mileage, being on the road as loaner, the brake rotors had dust and normal weathered appearance. We commented that this does detract from the vehicle appearance and it did bother us. After all we want our pre-owned to look like new when driving off the lot! Jim, said you are right, we'll clean that up for you. We'll instead of cleaning them up, they put all new on all four wheels even though, mechanically still had a lots of life. That is excellent attention to customer service and really appreciated!

There is not one person at Audi Bridgewater that I have dealt with that does not deserve praise. It's always a pleasure stopping by for service or parts.Some specifics that I can offer praise on:* Loaner vehicles are always clean, fueled up but most importantly, they are always available.* The service entrance is always organized and has space available for additional cars even while it gets busy. I always dreaded going in to purchase or lease a new car until my Audi A3 this past November. This was my second visit to the service department in Bridgewater for my squeaky breaks. Upon arrival I was greeted by Michelle. I stated my breaks are squeaky when the weather is cold. She proceeded to tell me all the Audi cars do that and there isn't anything we can do about it! When you break break hard!!! Are you kidding me????? I told her when you pay a small fortune for a car you don't want to hear the annoying noise of squeaky brakes that sound like nails running down a chalk board! She just stared and kept typing away at her computer. Well my brakes continue to squeak with no resolve.........I will be contacting Audi because if ALL the Audi cars do that then they should have a recall!!! I was always happy with their service up until Michelle took care of me. I will continue to go there as long as she doesn't take of me. She has poor costumer service!

This dealership took a deposit over the phone on the vehicle I had a prescheduled appointment to see WHILE I WAS DRIVING TO THE APPOINTMENT! They did not hold the car for me or even call me. Instead, I was told "that's the way it works, first come first served" And I was a prior customer, having bought a similar model from them new in 2004. I live an hour away. Nice job perpetuating the stereotype of unscrupulous car dealers Audi of Mendham!

Audi of Mendham is the best audi dealership i have ever visited and best car dealership i have ever brought a car from. Especially Bonnie Stelletell, i was looking to pre-order a 2016 TT in May 2015 before the car was even released. I knew exactly what i wanted, and Bonnie got me the best price in NJ. Most importantly, Bonnie during my initally visit ask me if i every test drive the TTS, and when she found out i only has test drive a "TT", she pulled her personal car up which was a 2015 TTS, and had me drive it around town for 20 minutes! The Gave me the best price, and I pre-order my TTS with audi Mendham the same day. On delivery (Oct 2016), Audi Mendham and Bonnie got me the LOWEST financing rate than i could find on my own. They went over the whole car with me for over an hour, and the signing of the purchase paper took less than 15 minutes. Then they surprised me with a toy push car for my son as a gift! GReat service and prices, and honest dealership. I highly recommend Bonnie and Audi Mendham! i will be back when the 2017 Q7 is available!

right guys so this will be a little bit of a long review but stick with me. Also sorry for not posting this sooner to save anyone else from a terrible experience.I had originally called Audi Mendham to make an appointment for a simple alignment and tire mount and balance and was also told i could have a loaner vehicle for the day to meet my schedule(which was nice). a week later i showed up for my appointment early in the morning and when i arrived i was told there wasnt a loaner car for me but i could drop the car off and come back later in the afternoon to get one. (I live an hour away so what was i going to do walk home?) Annoyed at this point i was just going to cancel my appointment and chalk it up to a wasted trip but the service manager said he could get one for me( appreciated the help). When i got the loaner the car was a little dirty but a dirty car was better than no car at all. Not to bad of an experience so far but then.......Later that day i received a message from the service writer telling me that the alignment could not be done because the front suspension was damaged and that was why the tires wete wearing so poorly in the front. NOW THIS IS WHERE I STARTED TO LOSE RESPECT FOR THIS DEALER. the week prior to my service i rotated the tires myself because they were getting extremely low and i needed them to last till my appointment. and in fact the front two tires were wearing very evenly and just the rear were wearing poorly on the inside. Now i did forget to mention this to the service writer when i droped the car off but if they even bothered to put the car on the alignment rack they would have seen it was infact the rear was bad.I told the writer who called me this and he said he would call back again later. The next day he called again saying that it could not be done due to the car not havibg powersteering (bad powersteering rack, it failed just a few days prior to my appointment) Now if you know anything aligning a vehicle you do not need powersteering to do so. So very mad at this point i picked the vehicle up before the shop closed but unfortunately no service writers were there. I left a message asking for them to call me but no one ever did. BEFOR YOU THINK I AM JUST A 'NO IT ALL' CUSTOMER I WOULD LIKE YOU TO KNOW I DID ATTEND OHIO TECHNICAL COLLEGE FOR AUTO MECHANICS AND GRADUATED WITH A 90% + AND WAS ONE OF THE TOP STUDENTS AND WORKED FOR VOLKSWAGEN FOR TWO YEARS. MEANING I DO KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT. I later called the GM and sent and email to him about my experience, but i was never contacted back. THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD WITH ANY SHOP OR ANY BUSINESS EVER. Hope this helps somebody before they make the mistake in coming here like i did. Ohhh and i almost forgot to mention that the neglected to take off all the old weights from the wheels and added a ton more on the opposite side, over tightened my lug nut and leftchuncks of wax all over my car from there wash. I found a pre-owned Audi A4 through autotrader for a great price. I am from the Chicagoland area. Buying out of state without ever seeing the vehicle in person was a huge risk. In the end though, it paid off. Lauren did her best to describe the condition of the vehicle. She even went as far as to record and email a video clip of its condition. Lauren made sure that the buying process was painless. Lauren set up the shipping right to my home residence. Within a couple days of the vehicle arriving the front passenger side door latch unit failed. The check engine light also turned on. Audi of Mendham could have turned its back on me since this was a pre-owned vehicle purchase, but they didn't. Sales manager Chris worked with me. He was able to get me a discount on my repairs and covered half the cost of the repairs. Chris went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy with my purchase. I am thankful that I bought my vehicle from this Audi dealership because I know that sales staff like that is extremely rare to come across. Thank you guys again for everything!

Found Audi Bridgewater on the internet because they had a car that I have been searching for that they took in on trade (Mercedes Benz CLK550). I called and spoke to Scott Solomon who answered all the questions I had about the car, before I committed to driving down there from NYC. I then made an appointment with Scott to come and see the car on 4/21/2015 and that when I got there I was to see Jeff Bassett. When I got there on Tuesday Jeff was right there waiting for me. I told him that I had pulled into the wrong dealership and that was why I was a few minutes late. We both had a good laugh over that. Jeff then suggested we take the car for a test ride and go over everything the car had to offer. It had everything I was looking for and more plus it ran like a charm. The negotiation on the price of the car was quick and hassle free. We also had a good laugh at the odd ball number that I came up with that was accepted. So much so that the manager had to come out and ask me how I came up with that figure. I told Jeff I would be back on Thursday to pick up the car, and we made an arrangement that Jeff would pick me up from the train station that morning.On 4/23/2015 I arrived at the train station, Jeff calls me and we can't find each other at the train station, we had a big laugh over the fact that I can't see him and he can't see me (in this tiny town train station). Jeff finally pulls around and we drive to the dealership. When we get there all the paperwork is ready and we sign off on everything. Next step Mike Sarullo (the money man as I call him) I go in and we take care if the finances and sign a few more papers. All said and done in under 1 hour. As I went to get the car to drive back home they had just finished detailing it and it looked like it just came off the showroom floor. That's my story. I have also come away with a friend in Jeff, and we will stay in touch.

Our first Audi buying experience, and I have to say this was top notch. It began through emails, and then my wife and I went in and met our sales person, Jeff Bassett. Jeff provided tremendous insight into the car and made the entire experience very easy and comfortable. Jeff, nor anyone we spoke with, never applied pressure to buy the truck. They simply offered different pricing options and we were able to work together to find a deal which satisfied both sides. Throughout the entire process, we were treated with the respect I have never felt from other dealerships. Due to our unique situation our deal took place over the course of a few days. During that time, Jeff had reached out to us on his personal time, not to negotiate, but to make sure we were happy with the entire process. I was in the market for an SUV and the Q5 was a perfect match for what I needed and wanted in a car. After working with a different dealership who could not get me the color I wanted, I saw that Mendham Audi had the exact car. Luckily, I wound up working with Bonnie Stelletell. In a matter of 15 minutes, she found the car and secured favorable pricing for me. Going a step further, Bonnie was concerned that although I wanted the color combo I selected, I had not seen the car since they had the vehicle in Bridgewater. When the car was delivered, the same evening, it was under Bonnie's direction the car be brought into the service garage where I could view the car in good lighting since it was dark outside. She didn't want me to get a car I didn't want. It wasn't an issue for her if I declined the car and went with another color. Bonnie and the entire dealership went out of their way to be friendly and provide great customer service. It was the most pleasurable car dealership experience I ever had and would return without any reservation to work with Bonnie on a new vehicle when my lease expires. Mendham Audi has made the experience of negotiating a new car a step above the dentist! Congrats to the team for making a dreaded experience fun, pleasurable and productive. I appreciate it.

I live in DC and had been searching on line for an Audi TT Quattro. A narrowed my search to 3, one in VA, one in MD, and one in NJ. Although there were 2 only 30 miles away, when I called Bridgewater Audi and spoke to Jeff, I decided to take the drive 180 miles to purchase the car. I did that based on the interaction with Jeff. He was helpful, attentive, personal, and professional. He addressed all the questions and concerns that I had, if he didn't know the answer he would do the research and get back to me. From the time I walked into the showroom he was attentive and very helpful. His customer service, and personality, made the wait much more pleasant (there were some issues because it was not a local purchase, and I had to title and register in another state)When I left the dealership, Jeff promised that his customer service would continue. I must also comment on the help that I received from Farid Ferdowsi, he spent over an hour with me, explaining the functions and features of my TT. He was also very personable and pleasant, and went above and beyond to ensure that all my questions were addressed. When I got back to DC I had my mechanic look over the car (obviously I could not do that while in NJ) and there were a couple of issues that he pointed out, I called Jeff and told him about them and he was quick to deal with them. They were not major issues, but things that should have been handled by the dealer, a Transmission differential service and the engine splash shield needed to be replaced. After going back and forth about reimbursement and compensation for the out of pocket cost that should have been taken care of by the dealership, it was Jeff that followed through. It got to the point where I was put in touch with Chris Adams, the General Manager, and after he checked the service records, he admitted that the service was an oversight and that he would be willing to do the service at no cost to be, if I brought it back to the dealership as well as replacing the splash shield. Of course that was not a feasible offer as I said I am about 200 miles one way from them, and then he counter offered with a check for $150, for a service that was going to cost me $365. I had been trying to get this resolved since December 15, 2015, I just received the $150 check yesterday. My issue with the dealership was that I should not have to come out of pocket for something that they should have taken care of before I drove off the lot, in test driving the car, the splash shield came off and was suppose to have been reattached, but was not done properly, so it was something that they were made aware of before I took possession of the car. I was that the transmission service is one that is not normally done, and it was an oversight of the service department, so why was I only offered partial reimbursement, why was I coming out of pocket, before my first car payment was even due? I am sure this is not indicative of the overall service that this dealership offers, it was only my experience that I feel should have been handled differently, especially when it escalated to the point of the General Manager's involvement, and he assured me that he solved problems and resolved issues, and did not let things slip through the cracks. This whole situation slipped through the cracks and what he offered as resolution, did not make me whole. It even got to the point were a couple of my calls were not returned. When I reached out to Jeff he immediately followed up to see what was happening and went as far as to order the part for me, so that I could have it put on by my mechanic here in DC. I am very happy and pleased with my car. It is exactly what I wanted and I am enjoying driving it. As I also said, my experience with Jeff and Farid, and the customer service that they provided was 5 star. As for how the "dealership" handled my issues, that took place well within the 30 day, 1,000 mile warranty that is provided a a previously owned vehicle..... 2.5 stars. I guess if I were local, none of this would have been an issue, but being out of state, I was not impressed with how things were handled. All issues were resolved, because Jeff was determined to make things right, and as he know I am most appreciative of him and all of his efforts. I also am quite happy to have met him and would do business with HIM, again, in a heart beat.

I went to look at a specific vehicle, on appointment set up by the internet department. When I got to Audi Bridgewater (over an hour from where I live) no one knew about the appointment and the car was at their storage location. The person I spoke to originally was not there at that time she set up with me. Zaneta quickly spoke with her manager and got the vehicle, drove me over to where it was and let me test drive it back to the dealership. She was very helpful in the sales process as well as keeping my 2 year old entertained while we negotiated the sale of the vehicle. Also due to this transferring of vehicles the other key was at the storage and Zaneta sent it out to me overnight. I would go back there again for another vehicle and I definitely recommend Zaneta for a brand specialist! Thank you

Sleem C. was probably the best salesman I have ever met. He was calm, professional, and patient while I figured out which model I truly wanted to buy. I came in thinking again I could probably try to convince myself I'd like the S5. Mind you, I've been at this since June wanting a different driving experience than that of my then current car, the Q5. So we went on the road with a black S5, then a used white S5, all of which I wasn't so sure on. Although the S5 provided the different driving experience I was looking for, I still felt like the S5 model was too small. Sleem then suggested I drive a SQ5 as a compromise between the S5 coupes and the Q5. He then looked in their inventory system, and found a brilliant black SQ5 with the exact options I wanted that was at their other dealer's lot. He had it brought to the Bridgewater location later in the day for to come back and see, and then two days later I drove off with a car that I'm extremely happy with. The SQ5 has turned out to be an amazing and unique vehicle cloaked in mean brilliant black. Excellent job, Sleem and Bridgewater Audi. I'm glad to see a great dealer move in close by.

Purchased a cpo audi from the mendam dealership. After 3 weeks the car started to give me problems and the dealer didn't want to hear it. I had the car towed to jack Daniels audi which were able to diagnosis the issue in 15 minutes and determined the car was sold faulty. Beware of this dealer.

I wanted to trade in a 2005 BMW 654ci. I really wanted to purchase a used Audi A7 but I would have been upside down in payments for a long time. Long story short, Pete worked out the best deal in my favor financially but also considered my style and what I like. I traded in my old Audi Q7 for the newest model and received a pretty great price on this. They had promised me credit in the past for a broken taillight toward the purchase of a new car and held true to this promise. Soon after I purchased this car, a small pebble hit my windshield causing a crack. While the front windshield would have otherwise caused $500-$1000 to replace, my bill was only $180. I can't say enough about how positive my experience continues to be with Audi time and time again, 3 cars later. From sales, to support, to service, they always are friendly and informative and honest. I always am given a loaner car when I need it. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the market.

Lately the new ownership is making "changes". Tried to call for service a few weeks ago to make an appointment and got routed to a phone ringing off the hook at some new outside service they've instituted for appointments. Hope the new management doesn't fix what wasn't broken and leaves this well run service and dealership alone. They have always been excellent in my opinion.

She didn't have any CPO S-lines in stock. I asked many questions but never felt that I was bothering him. He was very accommodating throughout the experience, even driving the car to my house to make sure it fit in the garage prior to purchase.The one somewhat disappointing experience was with the Financing department. I worked with someone named Chris and didn't realize until I got home that I had purchased the top of the line extended warranty for my car. He never explained that there were different levels - just assumed I wanted the top of the line. I likely would have purchased this anyway but would have preferred to have been told about the options for this as well as the extended tire warranty so that i could make the decision (vs. it being made for me).I would highly recommend Frank to others purchasing an Audi.

My hats off to you guys in the service dept,you are the reason I am sticking with the audi brand.Well also I like saurbratten , hefeweissen and good cars.If anyone is looking for top noth service dept. look no further than mendham.Went once to the dealer with the name like the whiskey,let me tell you dont waste your time.The only thing they did correct was to install their licence plate frames on my car.

I live in PA and work in sales at Toyota dealership near Harrisburg, so it was odd for me to buy and off-brand vehicle as well as out of state. That being said Audi of Mendham had a way better selection than anything remotely close to my house. I didn't want to have to drive 2.5 hours each way just check out a car let alone then have to back another day to pick up, but they had multiple cars I was interested in. Being a car salesman myself I was not looking forward to having to deal with a potential "typical car salesman" that you still find out there working today. I was a little shocked, but totally pleased to find Sal Tsegai. Sal does business the way I perceive my dealer group does , and that's to say that he was very professional, great customer service, and most of all - he was nice. When I told him up front that I was also a car salesman I figured "great he's going to totally treat me unlike a typical customer". The best part was that I felt like I was treated with total respect. I liked that what could have been a pretty painful experience was really easy. I anticipated having to grit my teeth and just barrel through the experience just to get the car I wanted that I couldn't find back home. Thanks to Sal for totally proving me wrong! Coming from someone in the business I hope that means alot.

These guys are very courteous and straight to the point, so much that I even referred my uncle to them for a new car. Danny did a great job explaining the features of the car to me. I particularly like this dealership because they are independently owned (I believe they own 2 Audi stores) and not part of a bigger conglomerate like some of the other dealerships in the area, this small business feel results in fantastic personalized service and attention to detail. I have bought cars from some bigger dealerships and while initially you may appreciate it eventually you're just another number and not a person, but not here! I live about 45 minutes to 1 hour from this dealership but will definitely bring my car to them when it comes time for service. Keep it up and please don't sell out to a bigger company/group of car dealers...remain independent!!!

I found the used car listed on the internet at what seemed like a good price. Calling the dealership, I half expected an explanation as to why the vehicle would cost more. In actuality, Heather promised to get the vehicle from their remote lot, so that it would be ready for me to view later that day. My only disappointment was that there was scarcely any gas in the car for my test drive. The car needed some minor repairs, which the dealership agreed to make. When I picked up the car a week later it was immaculate. It looked much nicer than when they were initially showing it.

I went to Audi of Mendham to look at a pre-owned S8 for $53500. After calling the dealership twice over the past week and talking prices (which included a ridiculously low trade-in for my Range Rover) I said I'd think it over and get back to them. A few days later, the sales person called me and said "we have the car on hold for you, when are you coming to pick it up?". Having never indicated my intention to purchase it without seeing the car I was taken aback by the inherent pressure. I decided to go see the car because I was told that it was an Audi certified product with no accidents and a clean carfax. After driving the car I felt that it was not really what I needed for my every day car (even though the Audi is a great product) but the V10 made me want to run the Carfax anyway to see if it was good. Turns out the car was in an accident at one point in its life and it was not certified. As I drove over an hour to see the car and waited for 40 minutes in the dealership to talk to my sales person (who didn't accompany me on the test-drive) I was very disappointed and feel that this was one of the worst car-buying experiences I've ever had. Needless to say, I'll be keeping my Rover...at least I know where it's been!

I was sent an email from Chris, saying that they want my car. They need used cars and they looked at there records and my car is what they are looking for. There are great deals going on now to get me out of my car and into a new car. Please email me back if I am interested. I emailed Chris back and said I am interested. He got back to me and said I should come down and we can talk, I live about 40 minutes away, so I sent him some information and asked if he could not waste anymore of my time and see what he could do. He did get back to me and said that nothing could be done. I only wish that if nothing could be done then don't send me an email saying we want your car. It wastes my time and if I would have driven all the way there it would have wasted my time and gas money. I think that the email should be 100% truthful when sent out and not if you want my car, then do what you have to do get it and stop wasting my time. I love my audi, this is my second audi, but if these emails telling me the great things that this dealership can do for me, doesn't do anything for me except waste my time then I will probably go elsewhere.

The loaner is always clean and in condition. I know when I go to pick my car up after it's been serviced, it will be ready when promised and I need not worry about them doing sloppy work. Because I set up an appointment and Sal was not available. He did not take 5 minutes while I waited for 45 to say "excuse me, just a couple of more minutes, have a cup of coffee or let my associate help you". Previous serice experiences were not positive as well. The service team debated me whe I said I had a gas filter problem and then there was a recall for it, tried to make me feel stupid.

The car was scratched when we picked it up. This was corrected.Next, the car smelled of smoke, not sure it the technician smoked in it or previous owner. They redetailed but it still smelled like smoke. They told me it was in the headliner and to try febreeze (basically tough luck) and did not try to resolve.Expected more features for the car, assumed they were included at that price point(my mistake). Disappointed that the engine burns oil, 1qt per 1200 miles, They said this happens to all the 2.0 engines and Audi would not address. This is very disappointing.At 5 ft 10 the seats don't fit me and the car is very uncomfortable after 30 minutes. Talked to sales rep about swaping for an A6 that was a year older. Had the car less than 4 weeks and the offered me $4K less than the purchase price (not much of a swap). Told me they had to make money (they already did once....) and it cost them $2k to recertify. After, 4 weeks? Don't believe it or the cost to recertify. Will never purchase another Audi and will never purchase from this dealer

I know my marks are all over the place. I purchased the car through eBay. I haggled the price via messages with shipping .. etc. I was very happy with the car, shipping, and overall experience of the car...BUT the car didn't come with an owners manual and triangle. I contacted the eBay seller guy (who I had been dealing with on everything - I just forgot his name as its been a few years) and he said he would send me them right away. Couple of weeks passed and nothing - called him again and he assured me this time he would get those out to me....years have passed. Yes this left a very bad taste in my mouth as he said twice he would but never did. I would NOT buy from Audi of Mendham again nor refer anyone I know to them.

Going back to Audi of Mendham felt like going home after a bad trip. Eric Kempf and the service team did an amazing job getting my car to the point where I felt confident driving it again. They explained the issues I was having with my car very clearly and address each one of them w/ perfection. I have to drive an hour just to get to Audi of Mendham from my home, but it is well worth the trip. I consistently have a positive client experience. Eric was great at communicating with me during my service, and wasn't satisfied until the car was perfect. I can't say enough good things about Eric and the service team. From the minute I walk in the door, until I leave with my car, Audi of Mendham is a 1st class operation. Audi Mendham /Bernardsville was helpful responsive and service oriented They advertised the Allroad on eBay and it had all the criteria we were looking for. We filled out a quick form - gave a deposit and we saw the car within the week They were helpful about optimizing our warranties and later very helpful when there was a catalytic converter issue. The only thing I didn't love was that the speakers had sounded like one was blown and they weren't going to take off the door panel and address it. There Were some stuck cup holders and ashtray as well as a missing plate and they didn't offer to remediate those either. The price was on the high side and even tho it was too old to qualify for CPO I would have appreciated if they took two minutes to Adress the small thing that really needed to be tweaked. All in all I was impressed on the whole and would recommend them to my new jersey friends with one having made a purchase. I would buy from them again

The Q5 itself was a wonderful truck that absolutely blows away all of the competition in its class. Bought used A8 at a good price and had no problems.Have since contacted sales person again about the sale of a new car, and got little or no interest. Have since bought new A7 at another dealer.

This dealer listed an demo A4 online that I was interested in and my first visit went well. I test drove the car and proceeded to start the paperwork for the purchase. The was a chip in the windshield and they promised to replace the windshield which they did but it would take a week to do it. I agreed to wait but did not get a satisfactory answer as to why that had not been taken care of before since the car was listed as certified preowned. They called me two days later and said they could not sell it as a certified preowned car because it had cosmetic body work done on it and it would take to long to resolve that item on the CarFax report. I should have walked away then but we negotiated the price again and I went ahead with the purchase. When I went to pick the car up I was very displeased with Greg because he made a very disparaging remark about the car my girlfriend was driving. Apparently, Greg does not think a Honda is a prestigious enough car to be seen in the lot next to his precious Audi's. I will never buy another car from this dealer.

when i brought my car for service on 11/18 someone changed most of my settings i.e. radio, lights, etc. they sholud have been reset before I left for home. it made for a very unpleasent ride home. Anne Barilli

I was looking for a nice used Audi so I chose to go to Audi of Bernardsville. I talked to Sal Tsegai and told him what my budget was and what model car I was looking for and, within a day or two he had found the exact car that I wanted. I was so amazed at how Sal had helped me choose a car and how he informed me about the car. After I bought the car Sal had found for me there was some regular maintence (brakes) that needed to be done, I went to the service area. I talked with a very nice service man named Anthony Ruggiero, and he was so kind and told me what needed to be done to complete the maintence and my car was done within an hour. I had a wonderful expirence at Audi of Bernardsville and I have gone back because of my good expirence, and I would reccomend this dealer.

Chris is extremely knowledgeable and is really easy to work with. I'm on my second lease with Chris at Bernardsville Audi and both times the process was extremely smooth. I knew what car I wanted so I was able to negotiate everything over the phone. The day I picked up my new car I was able to return my old one and pick up my new one in under 30 minutes. I was amazed. I called the dealership looking for a very specifically featured new car that many other dealerships told me was unavailable. He always returned phone calls in a timely manner and helped in every possible way to make sure that I got the car I wanted. I actually landed in the Mendham showroom by "accident" as I was out and about and passed it. It is not the closest dealership to my house. Now I'm glad I went past it that day. Greg was very welcoming and explained a lot about Audi's. I was looking at 2011's A4, A5 and A6. He even told me I could save quite a bit a money by buying a 2010 A6 that he was in the process of receiving. Low milage, great features, etc. I signed the deal. Unfortunately, several days later I saw the 2012 Audi A6 and fell in love with it. Greg worked with me to void the purchase agreement on the 2010 and we proceeded with the 2012. No hassles, no issues. I picked up the 2012 yesterday. It is great!! Greg was very helpful and explained many of the features. He also volunteered his time down the road if I need additional help on some of the many features on this rocket.

Recently, I traded my company's 2010 Audi S5 for a larger A7. The dealer approached me after seeing the advertizing on Auto Trader /Mota/Ebay Motors. They offered to purchase the S5, however we negotiated a trade-in since I needed a larger company car. The reason for the trade-in is that I take clients out and need a proper rear seat. Thus, we negotiated the trade-in; fairly quickly over the phone. The dealer dealt very professionally and expeditiously with the transaction. Especially, I was content with how Charles Nelson handled the business side of it. Brian, Charles's manager was very helpful when Charles was off on Tuesday. I loved dealing with Charles and will use him in the future again.My only dissatisfaction (however, this is very typical for dealers at large) is that once I arrived to pick up the new car, the dealer "tricked me" on re-negotiating the price for the trade-in. They "pulled out" the gimmick that the car "did not have an Audi Drive select" as an option - the only option that the car did not have, when clearly my on-line ad stated the entire package and all built-in options. Nowhere in the ad was it mentioned that the vehicle has the Audi drive select; not do the dealer need to claim lack of knowledge since the VIN is available (as well as the report) and by entering the VIN in any computer; one would find all options for that vehicle. Either way, the dealer successfully negotiated the price down for my trade another $1,000 dollars. Regardless, I am very happy with the new car. I am glad that things worked out and highly recommend this dealer.Beware - Audi dealers always push their customers to buy the Audi service plan emphasizing the long-term savings. In my opinion, this is just another gimmick. Mainly for 2 reasons:1) when one spends this kind of money for a brand - the brand must provide them with a complimentary maintenance at least for the term of the warranty. Audi, look at BMW and Mercedes; None of them charges for maintenance!2)the long-term viability or "time-value of money" is very low if you pay it on the credit card and must pay interest on that payment. It is a $850 dollar investment that you made in addition to the $60 grand you just spent that day! I mean... AUDI, please - give us a break!

Concerns (Audi reliability): We have owned the certified used 2008 Audi for less than 45 days and it has been in for sevice three different times. The Mendham service department has been very responsive, even picking the car up from our home when the battery died two days after bringing the car home (they needed to jump start it for test ride). My mistake, I should have required a new battery at purchase but given the pre-certified nature I trusted that they would rectify the problem, which they did. Second visit was our belief there was a wheel bearing issue. Service told us that it is attributed to cupped tire noise. I guess we'll see. Now the check engine light is on. The Mendham Service Deptartment has been responsive but I am losing faith in the pre-certification process.

We went to take a look at a CPO Audi A6 yesterday and the sales rep Lauren was very helpful. However, after test driving the one we had looked online we didn't like it. She was trying to help us look for another vehicle from their inventory but Greg jumped into the conversation and literally told us to "get lost". Per Greg, "we cant let our customers drive 10 different cars". We weren't requesting to drive any cars at that time. Greg was visibly agitated with us for not buying the first car we looked at. If I am buying any car, I will not buy it without test driving it. He asked us to look "online" and come back with "one" car we "will" buy. Besides being rude and impolite, I felt that the behavior was very unprofessional. Not a very good Audi buying experience.

First audi (A4) I've owned. I like the car. But will NEVER buy another Audi again, and especially NOT from Bernardsville Audi - because the service is terrible. I can't list the many issues and fights I've had with this service department. Except wiil tell you about this last one - After several calls about the fact that my Audi with 20K miles requires oil every 2,000 miles, they said to bring it in. I bring in, and they tell me now this is normal....he goes on to explain how they would have to figure out if something is wrong - which requires repeated trips to them, and if it requires oil every 1500 miles, well thats within spec so nothing they can do about it. So I left. Why, in the 3 phone calls didn't someone tell me that?I then ask him to check shimmering on the right front side after driving >65mi/hr, and he says it will cost me $75 to rebalance/rotate the tires. The tire place on my corner charges $15. "Well, nothing I can do". This is completely characteristic of the 4+ times I've been to this service department. NO way will I buy another car from them.

We agreed on a price of a lease including all terms. Salesman completed the purchase order with all relevant details. Credit was approved and I put $1000 towards deposit to hold my car. One fine evening decided to pick up my car. During the inspection I noticed the odometer reading of 425 miles (incredibly, my purchase order showed 12 miles). Then he goes on to say - oh, we wanted to discuss with you...blah blah and says he'd no idea until that evening because they got that car from their other location. Voided the deal and got the hell out of there. That is misrepresentation or simply fraud.

Leased my 2nd Audi from Greg in Mendham and the experience was as easy as the first. Greg goes out of his way to make you comfortable and make sure you know what you're getting. I'll go back when our leases are up. I originally went there because it was convenient but the service is great.

I have a 2008 Q7. I had purchased from Audi of Mendham. The issues evolve around improper mounting of tires and improper balancing of tires. I had to bring vehicle back 5 times before they finally were able to perform a " different" balancing procedure. What a bunch of BS.Now I have an incessant squeeling noise from the front brake pads. I took care into dealership for service and I do not according to them need new brake pads or rotors. The sound is according to them "common" because they do not use asbestos in the pads anymore, so it is metal on metal that is causing the sound. I spoke at length to service manager who gave me Audi pamplet explaining how this does occur and there is really not more they can do except to go to a vacant parking lot and go in reverse and stop your brakes quickly, this is meant to dislodge the metallic pieces which built up on the pads. Well guess what, this worked for all of three minutes. I can't be the onlyQ7 Owner experiencing this problem. They njust hope you go away and don't bother them any more cause they did all they can do and we gave you a pamplet, what more do you want? How about solving the brake squeeling problem?

I've had some pretty miserable experiences at this dealership. I can't outline all of them here, that would take too long. In short, I will say that this dealership does not honor its commitments. You will see from the thread of different reviews on this website that for some reason there is a culture of not honoring commitments at Audi of Bernardsville. They seem to make promises at the time of sale, but once the paperwork is signed they do not follow-through. Whether it's something as simple as floor mats or in my case touch up paint, poor service experience, and not honoring their commitment (of providing loaner cars regardless of if you purchased your car from their particular dealership).The bottom line is this dealership does not represent the Audi Brand well. If anything, it degrades the Audi Brand.

I checked out a CPO audi at this dealership, worked with Steve Brown. He was quite friendly, to the point, and without in any way pressuring one, provided all the details to help one make a decision. Took time to introduce me to the detailer and shop persons (it being a CPO etc) to show how much work shall be done on the car (I had questions about some scuffs etc.) No typical questions such as 'what can I do to make you buy this car today' type. The price we agreed upon was pretty fair, with some extras thrown in. However, while I was sitting on it for a couple of days, someone else landed up and bought the car! I was after a particular trim, so guess I shall keep looking. Don't have any experience with service etc at this dealer ( Went to the bernardsville location), but sales was a great experience. Does not have even a trace of smugness or attitude I have seen in other dealership, and CPO buyers are treated exactly the same as new car buyers.I see others have had some negative experiences. However, this was my experience. I am not sure what happened to the review I had posted earlier, so I am posting this again.

Purchased a CPO A6 approximately 1 year ago from this dealership. Being my first Audi, I was excited, but a bit reluctant due to all of the horror stories I've heard. Sales person assured me that the CPO warranty was rock solid and that I was getting a great car. I made the plunge....the car did not have any mats in it so he wrote up a "we owe you" and told me I would have them in a couple of days. A couple of weeks later, no call, so I called in and he stated that he was still looking for them, please be patient. 3 months passed, no call, I physically go into the dealership and the sales person, looking agitated and disgruntled, says "I have people looking for your mats, do you think I have the time to keep up with what they are doing?", of course with a smile.If they can't deal with the little things, it truly makes me wonder if they can address major issues. All-in-all, my apprehension for purchasing an Audi were solidified with the performance of this vehicle(which was apparently meticulously inspected) and the treatment post-sale. It gets better....Service is even worse....while I do give kudos to the service advisers who were very patient and understanding...though I personally think the dealership's policies are so out of touch with reality, it is borderline criminal. One of the many issues I had was with a loud noise coming from the engine, lasting 10-15 seconds after startup. Tech's physically reproduced the noise but because it did not trip a computer fault, they could not fix the problem. Sounds absurd, but true. Their answer to me was, "let the part fail, then we'll fix it". 65mph on a freeway, an engine part fails, sounds safe to me.I think their policy is to frustrate you to the point where you'll just move on and forget about them, they do already have your money don't they?

Absolute nightmare.1. Purchased certified used 2004 a6 avant 3.0 last august. took car home and discovered that the left blinker was barely visible during day when turning, there was a large 1" dent above the window in the tailgate that I missed when I looked at the car the previous day, and the wood paneling on the driver door and ashtray had 2 large cracks.i bought the car with 48, 600 miles and after calling them up in 3 days to report the blinker problem, they asked me how many miles were on the car, i told them 49,200 and they said that i needed to bring it in before 50,0000 mi or it would not be covered by the new car warranty and i would have to pay a deductible under the certified pre owned. so back 35miles to the dealer I went and got a shitty 2002 a4 since they did not have any a6 loaners. the repair was made properly but should have been found during there 150 point certified preowned checklist (which is also total crap)the dent and cracks they would not repair unless I paid for it. so I decided to live with them2. car hit large rock in middle of i-80 2nd lane which destroyed transmission completely but did very little damage to anything else. Since the tranny was smushed they could not return it to an audi rebuilder for replacement (no one takes a part unless there is a core returned), so I had to wait 2 weeks for a replacement remanufactured tranny to come from Germany.3. dealership charged state farm $10,000 for transmission and told state farm it would be new. Tech at mendham told me that the case is old and all the parts are new inside. called another audi dealer and they said "yeah right"...there are no more new 2004 transmissions. you are getting a rebilt one.4. called state farm, told them about fraud, etc, called audi of mendham informed them of fraud practice. Service manager became irate, said i had no right to accuse them of fraud and that they would refuse to repair the car.called state farm and NJ dept of insurance describing fraud, adjuster was sent to mendham and the cost of the transmission was dropped by 3k. State farm said car would be fixed in 2-3 days.5. after 3 days called audi, car is ready. 2.5 weeks after accident. picked it up drove home6. leaking tranny fluid, back to audi7. tightened high pressure hose, said everything is fine,drove home8. leaking less tranny fluid.9. back to audi, waiting for another replacement part, 5 days now....gave me another old 2002 shitty loaner which runs worse than a ford taurus10. cant wait to get this car back to trade it in for a japanese car11. lesson learned. never by luxury car unless you have a jap car to use when they go bad, and have a fat wallet at $125 hr for repairs.

SO many problems with them both on sale and service. SALE: wife went in, we were considering buying both an A8L & Allroad. Had a freind who was personal friends with owner of Newtown Porsche & Audi, gave me very favorable prices for both cars even though I told him I live in Mendham and it was too easy for me to buy there. TOld wife to stop by and check out Allroad, saleman told her if we were going to buy at another delaer and try to have it serviced at Mendham we would be "last to be taken care of" on service. Told manager I wasn't impressed, he said he would have his best salesperson (Bonnie) handle my sale. Told her I wasn't interested in car sales dance, had my price and if they matched it was theirs. Jerked me around for 2 weeks, suggetsed i look at year old demo which she claimed had 5k miles (actually 18,000), offered it to me for $5,000 more than I price had for new. Eventually matched price, told me car had Navigation which it didn't. Manager said he would make up for mistake by selling me snow tires on alloy rims for $1,000.00 which I said was unbelieveable; told me to call parts dept. When I called parts manager told me I was crazy, would sell to me for $2,500.00. I told him no thanks, and have a nice day, went to Eurotire and got for $1,600.00. Service had plenty of nightmares, family memeber had friend who worked in sister agency (Bernardsville) and told him Mendham guys were crooks. Just had service, small coolant leak that needed to be fixed, have been loosing coolant since they repaired thermostat 1 year ago. Service contact left message on office voice mail sayiong service was complete and never called with estimate (hoped it was minor so no need); called to pick up and was told no way, needed alot of work, claimed it was housing between pump and oil cooler, only $200 part but 10 hours service. May be true but have no trust in them any longer. Then said neede new brake pads, OK'd that, but called next mornign and claimed brake calipers siezed and needed new. Never call me to let me know what's up, supposed to call me when car was finished before weekend. I called, service contact asked if I had special lug nuuts for snow tires (were in bag in trunk next to tires), told him yes, he said they used wrong ones. Supposed to swap and call me right back, never called me back, and left for weekend and I had no car. Won't be using them again.

We bought a CPO A8L today in NY State and live blocks (within walking distance) of the Bernardsville dealer. We wanted to give them the business and scheduled time with a salesman on 12/22. Told him exactly what we wanted, what we would pay for an A8L that they had on their off- site lot (which we test drove), gave color and specs for car we'd like to have if that was not an acceptable deal to them. WE NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AFTER THAT. Granted...the holidays came and went. But in two weeks, we certainly expected SOME hunger and a call back at least. Instead, we did our own internet searches, were underwhelmed with callbacks at various places and found what we wanted 80+ miles away in NY. Hassle-free deal. Really pitiful situation in B'ville. We will even take our car elsewhere for servicing...probably to where we bought it!

We purchased our A4 a couple years ago. Ever since, we have been telling them that there is a some sort of a noise that emits when the gears change especially from 4 to 5 and 5 to 6 but they refuse to acknowldge the problem. Everytime we try and schedule appointments they have been most uncourteous to us. Also regarding the initial purchase we later on realised that they had also overcharged us. We would have got a much better deal at another AUDI dealership. Deeply upset with my choice of dealership, wish I had read some reviews on the dealership as well !! Will not recommend them for service parts or sales.

my wife's A6 went in for a routine servicing and a minor complaint about the alignment. when she went to pick the car up, she got a bill for 2500 for a whole host of work never discussed with her nor approved. i then spoke with service manager who said that mostly they deal with housewives who do not have the time nor interest in discussing the problems and just want things taken care of... that was his excuse for billing 2500 of work with no discussion with us as to whether it was necessary and appropriate. sold the car and never dealt with that dealer again.

I thought I would offer a heads-up to prospective buyers out there that the Mendham/Benardsville dealership was unprofessional, incompetent and dishonest through my purchase of a CPO S4. It got to the point that the national sales director had become involved in order to twist their arm hard enough to at least get them to correct SOME of the problems I had. Briefly, the vehicle did not receive the CPO inspection and there were numerous broken/missing parts and functions. They did not prep the vehicle properly, have it ready on time, nor even fill it with gas and lied about much of this to try to escape responsibility.I am writing purely becuase if there are no consequences to such failings, lousey businesses continue to abuse clients. Thank you.

Buying the car was no problem. And even while under lease they usually took care of me. Then after all of the ignition coil problems, and the environmental controls clogging, and the oil pump failing at only 35k, the second oil pump goes at 60k. They have the nerve to tell me it's not covered despite the increased length of the warranty. And once again "call Audi of America". That's a standard line of "we don't care any more, get lost". They had the gall to ask me if I had receipts for oil changes when the dealer did them all and they had the records in front of them. Pete said he wouldn't even contact his Audi rep to see what they can do. And they expect to continue to sell cars? I went in during a busy time when everyone was picking up their cars and told them I was taking it to another dealer. They asked me if Pete hadn't resolved it, I told them Pete *was* the reason I was taking it elsewhere.<br><br>Meanwhile, behind the scenes I was talking to some of the guys in the back. They've done over 40 oil pump repairs. At just one dealer. Think about that - even if they're a little over the average (and a quick question at another dealer says they're not), that's a good 5000 oil pump failures in the US alone. At $1,000 a piece, Audi owners are looking at $5million. Bad car. Bad. Even worse management and dealers.<br><br>
