My husband & I went in to test drive sn Audi, and salesman John Ward was soooo friendly & helpful! He didn't have a car we wanted, bur he recommended one at thrir sister dealership in Seattle. We drove over there & looked at it, but it was thr wrong colt. We went to an independent lot, found our car & bought it. Folloeing a rather unpleasant email from a sales mgr in the Spokane shop, at the Spokane dealership, john wouldn't speak to us, the service dept also wanted nothing to do with us, and we felt quite blacklisted there. It is one of the craziest things I've encountered! My husband, a Pakistani-american, is a retired US Ambassador and currently a VP of a large state university. Even his extensive diplomatic skills got us noplace at this very short-sighted dealership! A very unpleasant experience!

They must just think everyone is stupid. They treat you like a child then tell you the cost of a part is going to be 7.8x the price it is online. Pathetic

IF YOU ARE A" WOMEN OR ELDERLY" BEWARE! I WENT TO AUDI SPOKANE NOW AUTO NATION READY TO PURCHASE A VEHICLE LAST WEEK. MY HUSBAND WAS WORKING AND COULDN'T JOIN ME UNTIL LATER IN THE EVENING BUT I WAS THERE TO TEST DRIVE A USED 2016 A4 AND GET THE FINANCING OPTIONS OFFERED THROUGH AUDI REQUESTING 1.9 TO 2.5% AS I ALREADY HAD A QUOTE FROM CREDIT UNION AT 2.5% I HAD NO TRADE AND WAS PUTTING A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF CASH DOWN. THE CAR STICKER PRICE WAS $36,999, .I SPECIFICALLY ASKED IF THERE WERE ANY CHANGES IN THE 2017 MODELS AND I WAS TOLD NO BY SALESMAN BRYAN! AFTER THE TEST DRIVE THE SALES MGR, DAN, THEN JOINED US AND I EXPLAINED AGAIN MY GOAL AND SITUATION DETAIL TO DAN. DAN THEN WROTE UP THE FIRST OFFER AND PRESENTED IT TO ME.......PRICE WAS FULL PRICE $36,999 AND WHEN I ASKED "THIS IS THE BEST PRICE YOU CAN DO? HE SAID THAT WAS AS LOW AS THEY COULD GO AND THAT IT HAD ALREADY BEEN DISCOUNTED BEING AUTO NATION AND ON AND ON. THE INTEREST WAS ABOVE 3%.AS WELL. WE WENT BACK AND FORTH BASICALLY ON INTEREST RATES AND MONTHLY PAYMENTS. HE THOUGHT I WAS STUPID AND COULDN'T FIGURE OUT WHAT HE WAS DOING WITH JUST TRYING TO GET MY PAYMENTS TO WHAT WAS COMFORTABLE WITH MONTHLY, WELL YEAH I CAN DO THAT MYSELF WITH 36 TO 72 MONTH VARIABLES. I EVEN LOOKED AT THE NEW A6 ON THE LOT WHILE WAITING FOR DAN TO PRESENT THE NEXT OFFER AS IT WAS A LITTLE BIGGER AND MY HUSBAND IS 6"4" (LATER I FIND OUT THAT THE A4 2017 HAS CHANGED AND IS BIGGER AS WELL AND NEITHER OF THE SALESMAN EVEN MENTIONED THAT TO ME AS AN OPTION, WELL HOW DO YOU DO THAT AFTER JUST LYING ABOUT THERE BEING NO CHANGES IN THE 2017 MODELS. I HAD ANOTHER OBLIGATION, WHICH I TOLD THEM ABOUT UP FRONT, SO IT WAS TIME FOR ME TO LEAVE AND I OFFERED TO BUT SOME MONEY ON THE CAR UNTIL WE COULD COME BACK LATER THAT EVENING AND MY HUSBAND COULD DRIVE THE CAR ETC. SO I GAVE DAN A CHECK TO HOLD THE CAR OR AT LEAST GIVE US FIRST CHANCE.MY HUSBAND AND I RETURNED AROUND 6PM AND DOUG DID A TEST DRIVE AND ASKED BRYAN ALL HIS QUESTIONS AND THEN DOUG OFFER $35,000 FOR THE CAR. BRYAN THEN RETURNED WITH DAN AND DAN EXPLAINED TO DOUG THAT I HAD ALREADY AGREED TO FULL PRICE AND GIVEN MONEY TO HOLD THE CAR AND THAT HE DOESN'T USUALLY TAKE MONEY TO HOLD A USED CAR AND HE COULD HAVE SOLD IT WHILE I WAS GONE! I WAS IN SHOCK AS I HAD BEEN UP FRONT WITH BOTH SALESMAN ABOUT HOW I WAS NOT ABLE TO BUY A CAR WITHOUT MY HUSBAND AND WHEN DAD ASKED ME TO SIGN IT WAS IF I CAN DO THIS AND THAT WILL YOU BUY THE CAR....YEAH WELL SIGN HERE AND I AGAIN EXPLAINED AND HE JUST MADE LIGHT OF IT AND AGREED AND HAD ME SIGN IT ANYWAY! WHAT A PUSHY, DISHONEST SALESMAN!So WE ASKED FOR OUR CHECK AND WERE READY TO WALK AWAY AND HE SAID OH LET ME MAKE ANOTHER PHONE CALL. HE CAME BACK WITH WE FIGURED IT OUT WE WILL TAKE THE WARRANTY OFF AND THAT IS $1500 AND THEN WE CAN SELL IT TO YOU FOR $35,000! WE AGAIN ASKED FOR OUR CHECK WHICH HE MADE EVERY EXCUSE WHY HE COULDN'T GET IT BUT WITH DEMANDING HE GET THE CHECK IT CAME BACK WITH THE CHECK!WE WERE CONTACTED BY GENERAL MANAGER, CHRIS, THE NEXT DAY BUT WE JUST CAN'T GET OVER OUR EXPERIENCE AND WILL NEVER PURCHASE AN AUDI FROM SPOKANE AUDI OR ANY VEHICLE FROM AUTO NATION!!!!

I have a new Q5. Nice car. The manual explains how to access the receptacle for the front tow hook. (It screws into a threaded hole behind a "removable" plastic fairing.) You remove this plastic cover on the passenger side of the front grill. Poor instructions as to how to do that without breaking off the plastic tabs holding it on. I pulled a little here and there but not knowing just how and not wanting to break them off I made the trip (last week on April 20) into Spokane from Sandpoint and explained to the service guy that I wanted them to remove it for me so I would know how in case I ever needed to use the tow hook. He gets his "expert" service tech out there and after studying it for maybe 5 seconds, grabs it and pulls nice and hard. It comes right off with a pop! See, no problem. I look down at the part and both plastic tabs are broken off. When I point this out he says "They aren't really needed to hold it in anyway.". I explain that I want a new part since that is exactly why I had them (the experts) remove it instead of me, so it wouldn't get damaged. He takes me into the parts dept and the guys says "We have one in stock. That'll be $270 (But we can take a little off for you today.). After escalating the discussion (and my blood pressure) (a lot) and getting all the guilty parties together the service manager finally brings out the new part and hands it over. No "We're sorry". No nothing. I guess my unreasonable request to replace what THEY broke was going to cause all their children to go without lunch that week. (The $270 plastic part probably cost Audi all of $10) I sure wish there was another choice for Audi service in the inland nortwest.

Trying to get full refund for extended warranty for our audi has been excruciating. They can take your money pretty fast, but are unable to refund in a timely manner. We have been calling every week or two since June and have talked to different people most of the time because they have either quit or their phone # has changed. Also, they have claimed every week that the check is on its way when it hasn't even been sent. Today Mark said it would be on FedEx overnight. But he also said the same thing last week...ugh! Still waiting!!!

They have the worst customer service in the service department I have ever seen. I called ahead the day before and explained what needed to be done and made an appointment. The next day nothing was accomplished and I owed over $100. Now I have to go back and probably pay more money. When I asked to speak to the manager they made me wait forever only to tell me she was busy! They sent me away with a business card, and i have yet to hear from her.

Brian in service department made me pay for services I told him I did NOT need. He knew he was in the wrong, and offered a free oil change next time I come in. That will not be happening! I would pay twice as much somewhere else, so long as I don't have to deal with them. But hey, at least I got my car washed for $100!

I recently had the pleasure of working with salesman, Jason Wisher, from Spokane Audi. I was very uncertain about which vehicle I was wanting, but after 2 months and several tests drives later, I decided on an Audi Q5. The level of professionalism and patience Jason showed during this process is to be commended. He was very understanding and considerate of the options I was looking for and was never pushy. His Knowledge of all vehicles and their functionality was very helpful in my vehicle shopping experience. I highly recommend Jason when you are looking for your next vehicle!!

??I highly recommend salesman Todd Phenneger at Audi Spokane & AutoNation VW. His knowledge about cars in general and his inventory of Audis and Volkwagens in particular is profound but he never comes off as pedantic. Honest factual answers provided for honest questions was our experience. He has my highest professional regard, and I have been a full commissioned commercial real estate broker for over 40 years.R. My husband and I had a great experience buying an Audi. Todd was great at listening to what we wanted and not trying to sell us something that wasn't right for us. He took his time to take me to test drive other cars of interest and did a great job presenting each car's pro's and cons. The time in the show room was lengthy given we were trading in our old car and we were doing some negotiating. All in all it was a great experience and feel like we have support for the car any time we need it with good follow up from Todd. Service department did a great job on our first visit.

Such a great experience here! I brought my Dad with me, and he is not a fan of dealerships at all. He told me this was the first dealership he actually liked, and was blown away by their customer service, and how much they really helped me with vehicle selection, and price. They gave me carfax, and ensured me the vehicle I was purchasing was in good shape. I have had my car for over a week now, and I couldnt be more happier than I am with my decision with the car, and the dealership. They have amazing employees that treat you like family. This is the ONLY dealership I recommend! If you are in need of a car new or used check them out!

Crystal was extremely patient and helpful. We had a bad experience last time we bought a car and she was very understanding of that and really helped us renew our faith in the process. She helped us find an affordable option that was well maintained. She valued our time and our need for a reliable vehicle on a budget. I would tell my friends to go through Crystal Cornett for their next car.

I have purchased vehicles from Applway in the past so I called them first when I had an emergency. My convertable wouldn't start and I was driving Miss Spokane in a parade in just an hour and a half. I called Appleway Volkswagen and they were AMAZING!!!!! They had a cute VW convertable waiting for me when I arrived and they saved the day!!!!!!! They were so wonderful and willing to help. Those guys may as well all have capes on -- these guys are my heroes... I'd reccommend them to anyone, Over the years I have only had great experiences - when I purchased my car, when I have used the service dept and now when I needed to be saved in an emergency!!!!!! I'll have to post some parade pictures on their Facebook page... Thank you - Jo Brown, Miss Spokane Volunteer

Overall working with Appleway Audi/VW was a great experience. My salesman was Brock and Chris. I didn't feel like it was just a sale, they took the time to walk my wife and I through the entire process and it didn't feel sales(e) in the least. Both Brock and Chris were knowledgeable about the vehicles. We ended up getting an A4 Avant and liked the dealership enought to go back the next week to purchase a Jetta TDI Spotwagen. I would not hesitate to send friends and family to Appleway Audi/VW

I had a 2002 Jetta TDI (that was purchased from this dealership in 2002) that I wanted to trade in for an SUV. I got hooked up with Adrian from the start, and searched with him for a used car. A few months later, we decided we should purchase a new vehicle. I was happy to say that I still got to work with Adrian. I also worked with another dealership in Bellevue as I was willing to travel for a good deal. My vehicle had 74,000 miles on it, aftermarket wheels with new tires, stocks with newer tires, great gas mileage, and ran awesome. We also went to Foothills Lincoln Mazda and was told they would only give me $3000 for my car... less than rough trade in on NADA.com (which is $4500.00). I wanted to pay off the current loan and still have a good down payment on a new vehicle. I dealt with both Adrian and his supervisor Chris for several days. I test drove one, and we finalized on the model. Upon showing up to potentially purchase the vehicle on August 17th, 2012; we were off by $1000 for which I wanted for my vehicle. I talked with Chris and he agreed to meet me 1/2 way at $7500 for my vehicle, which is better than clean retail for my vehicle. They cleaned up my new vehicle, filled up the tank with gas, and was even supportive of me when I got emotional letting go of my first car. I had the vehicle for 3 days, and noticed a scratch/scuff in the clear coat on the hood after washing it for the first time. I contacted Adrian, and they immediately agreed for me to bring in the vehicle and buff it out, as well as some swirls. (I got a black vehicle so swirls are HARD not to notice). I worked with the Service Dept, Jeff, and while he was also nice, polite and kind, I found there to be a disconnect between setting up the appointment for the buffing of my car with the sales team, the service department, and the renovation department. I had to bring it back a second time for the work to be completed. I understand that a particular salesman may make a promise that the service department can't keep, however, I did find this frustrating as the customer. I have yet to have any work done on my new vehicle; with only 5,500 miles this is to be expected; but when I do, I will make sure that my manufactures warranty, as well as the extended warranty are fully functional in any issues that may arise. Overall, I was very pleased with the service I was provided by Adrian, Chris & Jeff. I do recommend the dealership and advise anyone that you need to be a smart customer. With the reviews that the dealership charged an arm & a leg for repairs is kind of saying that a duck swims... is to be expected.

We've bought 2 cars from them--the most hassle-free car experiences ever. They have gone out of their way to accommodate us (we live 90 miles away) and we have never had a bad experience with them in 14 years. Fair, honest and competent service too!

Took our jetta to the dealership a month ago because the coolant was leaking. Dealership replaced the radiator to the amount of almost $800. A week later the car was overheating and son was stranded on the way to work. He got the car back to the dealer where they looked it over and found out that they forgot to hook up the cooling fans when they replaced the radiator. A month later coolant was leaking again. We took it back to the dealership where they quoted almost $900 to relplace a switch in the radiator, the water pump and the coolant resevoir which they said was fine the month before. When challenged on why these repairs were not deemed necessary a month before, we were told that the parts apparently overheated since the radiator was replaced and they weren't responsible for them failing. When reminded that they were the ones that didn't hook up the cooling fans to begin with we were told they couldn't do anything about that. Needless to say they will never see us again nor will anyone else we talk to.

My car was acting up so I made an appointment to take it in for service. I drove it in and while they had it, they blew up my motor. After much negotiation about the fact that it was our fault, and several weeks of no car and no service, and them telling us that it would be $4000 to fix and they talked to the manufacturer and they weren't going to pay for anything, my husband finally called corporate and told our story. They were very punctual about getting back to us, and in the end it was covered 100%. Appleway was in fact at fault. When we went to pick up our vehicle, the service guy talked themselves up and told us how hard they worked and how Tony went to bat for us and he was glad that it worked out in our favor. Are you kidding me? They didn't do anything, but tell us that we had to pay for it. My husband is the one who was proactive and talked to the corporate office and got this horrible situation taken care of. I will never shop appleway again.

Took my wife's Tiguan in for a break squeek and Jeff said he'd see what he could find. Jeff called me back and let me know there was a campaign on her model and put new brakes on her car, taking away the noise. A few days later he followed up making sure she was happy. Good service and thank you for taking care of my wife's car.

Brought 2002 Jetta in for a simple 100K service (oil change and filter change). First thing is the service writer locks the keys in the car and says it's a door malfunction (never happened before in 10 years, but maybe... ) Cost $400+ to fix (no thank you). Then when the service is done, they tell me that the serpentine belt needs to be replaced. I JUST did that on my last service with THE SAME dealership and this cost me over $1200. And if you look at the belt it looks brand new, so it is an obvious lie to get money (oh, they couldn't find the records of this service either)And finally they charged me $271 for a simple oil change and filter change. This is beyond ridiculous and I will never go to a dealer again for service unless it's an absolute last resort.

Apppleway Volkswagen SUCKS!!!! Don't buy a car from them. Their service department is full of incompetent jerks that will do anything to screw you over. The cars suck too. I was in there at least once or twice a month for a year getting things fixed then taking it back because they didn't fix it right. I traded in the POS lemon and I'll never go back!
