Stopped in to look at a vehicle. Mark helped my husband. He immediately made it known that they were closing within the hour and that he was only willing to go down the road on a test drive. I would think if you wanted the sale you would be more accommodating especially when we told you we drove through a storm for 45 minutes to see the vehicle. We were told the vehicle just got out of the shop earlier in the week. 1) The CarFax stated the tires were new as of June but one was almost completely flat. 2) The work that was supposed to have been completed on the vehicle wasn’t on the CarFax. 3) When my husband went to look under the hood there were disconnected wires, and parts that were loose. On top of everything Mark quoted us $1k more than what was on the website. When we told him the price we saw he had us pull it up to prove it. Then when we did so he still wasn’t happy and had to check the mileage to make sure it was the same car…he continued to explain how it didn’t make any sense the price since they just sold the exact same vehicle yesterday for $1k more. Then said he would have to go with whatever price was online… I know it’s a sellers market at the moment however it doesn’t mean you can be short and argumentative with the customer. The office personnel and service tech were great people. I just really wasn’t not a fan of Mark. He came across as your typical used car salesman.

Excellent service every time! Appointments are easily made, never a hassle. Staff is very kind. The lobby is always clean as well as the restroom, which is rare to find in a mechanics shop. I would recommend Auto Evaluators.

By far, they have been the best to work for & work with. The mechanics are awesome!! They treat my car like their own, figure out what service(s) I'm due for & even give recommendations for future services. I can count on AEI to keep me on track!! They work really hard & it shows. Auto eval is my favorite shop. We take our cars here for everything now. The staff is professional and kind, which is a rare find in south city. The prices are reasonable and making appointments is so easy.
