By far the best car buying experience I've ever had! If you're looking for a no hassle, no pressure, customer service friendly dealership that goes above and beyond for their customers, look no further! Doug, my salesperson made me feel so important and cared about.. such an awesome person! All of the Finance Managers were also so easy and relaxed to work with, which was a very nice surprise! I sold an extra car I had to auto fair Hyundai. They offered me a very reasonable price! Luke was awesome and very customer focused, he was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was very fluent in his delivery and very educated on his product. I also dealt with Derek the used car sales manager, he was very friendly and informative. One thing I can say is they weren’t pushy at all, which is refreshing and it didn’t feel like I was at a typical car dealership. They made suggestions that fit exactly what I needed. This is my 4th Hyundai vehicle purchase from AutoFair, from a 2007 Veracruz to a 2011 Veracruz to a 2013 SantaFe to a 2016 Sonata. My needs in a car have changed, and Hyundai has a vehicle that meets or exceeds those over any other manufacturer. Doug Johnson has sold me two of the four, and I find him to be fair-minded guy who genuinely tries to help the customer. He works for AutoFair, but definitely takes the customer's side in helping to negotiate the sale. I take my cars to their service department, even though I could have service done closer to where I live. I know all the service writers on a 1st name basis, and have always been pleased with how thorough the techs are with seeing to it that my car is kept in great shape. There are things I do myself, like air and cabin filters...but everything else I leave it up to them.

I initially emailed an inquiry about my vehicle and Jared was great at getting back to me. He even offered to put gas in my car if they couldn't make a deal for me. When I went to the dealership I worked the John Cullen and he was very pleasant and did a great job pointing out the different features of the vehicle etc. We were at the dealership a bit longer than we would have liked but needed to take delivery at that time as we lived far away. We met several of the staff that day and I can't even begin to name them all - almost a bit too overwhelming. All in all however, it was a great experience and I'm very happy with my new Tuscon!

Came to this dealership to buy a car. I looked online and saw a car I liked, so I desided to head over and take a better look at it. First thing that came to mind, "great time to get swarmed by a boat load of sales associates." As I pulled up and got out of my car to look at the car, I saw online I was shocked no one came over. I walked into the building as Mark was sitting at his desk, got up introduced him self and asked if I was all set. Come to find out I couldn't afford that car so we looked at different cars in my price range both him and all the managers were trying to help me find a car I could afford! Mark worked through his lunch break even after his food had already came. And finally they remembered they had a car that had been sitting on the lot for two months, they had already discounted down to try and sell it. As I took it for a drive I fell more in love with it than all the others I test drove. As I had to leave to get my personal things done, mark and the management team went above and beyond to get me the financing to get this car! Got a car the next morning from mark saying got someone willing to give you a loan! Drove it off the lot the next day and have been really pleased with it since! If you're looking for a new/used car check this place out!

I went to autofair because originally I had bought a car, I feel I jumped the gun on. It was not the right fit for me. The team that I worked with spent pretty much the entire day with me to find the car that fit my needs and price range. Taking multiple test drives in various versions of sonatas and Elantras we finally found a car that was perfect. The only thing that was annoying was the finance department afterward. Since it was a Saturday the bank that I was getting my loan through was not open and I had to go back to the dealership multiple times to sign and resign papers. Other than that I enjoyed my time there and would recommend that if you are looking to find a car that fits your needs talk to Mike, Matt, or Christine.

If you need a car ask for him by name; this Teddy Bear will listen to what you have to say, help you find the right car, and work with you to get it within your budget. Once you drive away the experience only gets better; I was active duty Navy stationed in Pensacola, Florida then Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and Doug maintain contact with me for the five years I was away. Tim Strunk was an excellent sales person. I think I drove most of the cars in the lot. Matt Gelinas, Jeff, Jim and Phil all assisted in getting me approved for financing. Adam helped me put the plates on and got my blue tooth set up. It was a complicated financial story but finally they were able to help me. I love my new vehicle and it is my first Hyundai.

What can I say? From the moment we were greeted by Tim until the final sale, all professional, they worked with us. I had a car with negative equity for a trade, and my payments came in $60 over our original payment plan. I traded in a 2011 Chevy HHR (which I really liked) for a gorgeous 2107 Hyundai Elantra for only a little bit more per month. Tim, Jean and Jim O'Brien made it work and I drove home that evening with my brand new car. No pressure sales just them wanting to help you get what you want. Thank You

I was very disappointed with AutoFair's handling of their deals, and overall customer service. I was on their website and happened to see a deal on a lease of the 2016 Hyundai Elantra for $129 a month. There were 2 cars listed at the time, a gray and a blue one. I am a disabled driver. I drive with my hands, with one controlling the gas and brake, and the other holding a spinner knob on the steering wheel. I also walk with crutches. The salesperson did not inquire about my driving situation, instead just brings out the gray vehicle. We go out to see the vehicle and then he tells us that "it's a manual.. I wasn't sure." But he never asked prior to that. My dad, who was with me, said "He's disabled, that won't work," meaning my hands would be occupied. He brings that car back and then brings out the blue one I was interested in. We go check it out and I get excited because I think I'm going to be getting a good deal. He then informs us that that vehicle is not part of the leasing promotion. I correct him, saying that on the website it shows both cars. He says that they can't lease me a car that has miles on it. So after some back and forth he goes to get one of his managers who comes over and informs me that they can't lease me that car because of the miles but they can get me into a 2017 Hyundai Elantra for "around $150 a month lease." I agreed, but again I was disappointed because when the actual payment figures came out it was around $160 a month for a car with no miles on it, compared to the 2016 that I was interested in which had less than 100 miles on it. And they weren't willing to come down in monthly payments unless I was to put up more cash, but it was supposed to be $0 down, except for taxes and fees. They weren't clear, and I didn't ask at the time, why I would have to pay more to get a lower monthly payment, with the thinking that fees should be flat not fluctuate based on desired monthly payment. So I feel like I ended up paying more for the lease than I should have and that is confirmed the morning after when I happened to go back on their website and their deals changed (but were in the same promotional period as when I got the car, ending June 30), this time $119 a month on a NEW 2017 Hyundai Elantra. So now I really feel like I got screwed. Not a good experience with AutoFair. Should have heeded the advice of family and friends and won't be going back when they don't even know what their deals are and only want to make a sale.

Bill was very helpful but frankly too talkative. He was 100% knowledgeable about vehicles and was great at trying to match our needs. My only complaint with him is that he talked and joked far more than necessary. My daughter's car had a check engine light come on twice. First time she was told it wasn't anything, second time she had to leave it overnight then a part needed to be ordered. she told me the service people were nice but condescending to her and her sister, assuming neither of them knew anything about cars since they were female. this couldn't be further from the truth. Finance experience was awful. I wanted to pay the full lease up front. I had to come back 4 times before this could be accomplished. Phil was very apologetic but this was annoying, to say the least. I had an excellent conversation with Mike Neacy who clearly explained to me what was up with the check engine light and possible problems with leases. i appreciated his time to clearly explain the service process.

100 % Satisfied with my purchase. Autofair Hyundai is a great dealership. I left Toyota unsatisfied. I was a customer with Toyota for years. I did not like how they wanted to sell me a vehicle I didn't like. When leaving Toyota I thought of the Tuscan and decided to pull into Autofair Hyundai to check one out. Upon entering the lot I was greeted by Mike Neacy who invited my husband and I into the dealership. We sat down at his desk and talked about what I wanted. His questions identified my needs. From there we were asked if we wanted to take one out on a test drive. While sitting in the vehicle Mike explained all the features and functions of the vehicle. He stood out from every other salesperson I have ever met. In my past experiences at other dealerships I was kust given the keys to take it for a drive but not Mike I was really impressed take he took the time with me to go over the operational features. Not only did I drive it but something else happened that has never happened before Mike asked my husband if he would like to drive it as well. I loved that he included my husband in this experience as no one ever offered my husband to test drive it too. We drove back to the dealership and Mike got all the information needed for financing. The Fiance Manager was top notch. He made this sale happen! We eagerly agreed on the best option and went on to meet the warranty department who was great too. We listened and completed all the paperwork necessary. As our Tuscan was being prepped for us to drive home Mike gave us a tour of the building. He showed us the Service Department where I was introduced to the Service Manager who scheduled my first oil change. He gave me Service department business card. He took the time to explain the service hours and the phone number to reach the department to schedule appointments. We then met the sales manager who wanted to thank us and ask us if Mike had gone over everything with us. We told him yes and shook hands. He asked us if we would refer friends and family based on our experience and asked if we wouldn't mind a picture to post on Facebook. My husband and I gave permission and accepted a friend request from Mike Neacy to post our purchase on our Facebook page. If I had to do it all over again I would and I wouldn't change a thing.

The only complaint I do have is the time spent at the dealership to negotiate price and delivery of the vehicle. It just shouldn't take as long as it did to buy a car if you know what you want and the price you want to pay.

Dave was great. But as he mentioned, he was newer working there and I think he needs to work on his knowledge of the vehicles he is selling a bit more. For example. When I asked about the feel of how the dual clutch transmission worked, he didn't really know no mention of a dual clutch transmission was brought up at all. There were a few other small things that he had to check with other sales associates on as well. Over all he was great, but need to learn a little more about the vehicles. Also, a full tank of gas with a new vehicle purchase would have been nice as well.

This dealer had the car I wanted in stock, I emailed their sales inquiry team and received a call back within 5 minutes. Due to the distance away, just under 2 hours for me, I was hesitant to travel that far for a vehicle. After a week or two I realized I could not the car and color that I wanted locally so I called AutoFair Hyundai back. They were eager to assist and matched the others dealer offer without issue. My experience with auto dealerships have never been good-until now. Historically, pushy salesman, hidden motives, and poor service have geared me towards staying in my current car. That changed when I walked into Autofair Hyundai and met David Van Iten. Dave started by taking a comprehensive assessment of my needs and my wife's needs. He dug in to find what things are important, what things are nice, but not required, and what things do not matter to me. He got an idea of what my target budget was, and what would push the boundaries of my budget, but would be acceptable if I absolutely fell in love with the vehicle. He narrowed down his search to three vehicles that fit my needs, and had me test drive them each. He was VERY knowledgeable and what he didn't know he didn't pretend to know. When we made our purchase, there was no haggling involved. While we were driving the vehicle back to the dealership, he asked if this was the one for us, and we said yes. He then told us, "I have great news-this vehicle is under your budget." We were very happy to say the least. The paperwork portion went by the quickest. After we selected the vehicle, we were out of the dealership in half an hour. We even got to bang a gong for our own sale. I highly recommend contacting David Van Iten if you want your experience to be the best and not be talked into anything you don't want. A++ experience!

I had a great experience at this dealership! I found the used cars I wanted to test out on cars.com and set up an appointment the next day. When I arrived I was helped by Adam Donovan. This is the first car I've financed through a dealership, as I've only paid cash in private sales before. He wasn't aggressive and didn't try to push me into a car that was out of my budget. The whole process took maybe three hours, from the initial test drives to finalizing the loan and getting the keys. It was a wonderful transaction and will definitely come here for my next vehicle.

The biggest negative about going in to buy or lease a car is all the time it takes to negotiate and then all the paperwork. I was there from 11:30 until 4:30 on a Sunday.I am very happy with my lease and believe everyone involved listened to what I had to say since I had previously visited another Hyundai dealership and was miserable.

The service was great up until the financing. There was an issue with our lender who provided misinformation to the dealership. Instead of The sales team being honest with me they were deceitful and lied to me demanding me to come in to sign additional paperwork that did not exist, demanded me to come to the dealership same day in a very rude way or they would take the car back- just to try to get me to bring the car back because they let me leave with the car but then received notice from the bank the loan was not approved. If they had been honest with me when they called stating such- they would have learned the lending bank had two applications opened and that the loan was not canceled it was transferred to another account.

Wife and I came in looking for a new used SUV. We had a vehicle to trade in on the deal. We told them the payment range we were looking to get into and they started looking for vehicles for us to test drive. After trying out a few my wife found one that she liked. Well there first offer of financing and our trade was not to our liking so we stuck to our guns and said if you can make it fit in our budget we would probably buy. They came back a little bit later and said congrats we got you approved for the payment you want. Great sounds like a deal. Not so fast. We signed the contract and finance manager said he would still have to run some things by the bank in the morning? Had me sign a form saying if it didn't work out we would just switch back the next day. They had us change our insurance over to the new car took our trade and let us take the car. Got a call the next day and they said they had some options to go over? They had a ridiculous offer. Horrible interest rate and way high payment. So much for the congrats we made the deal you wanted! Worst car buying experience ever.

We bought in March 2014--finding a car was an okay process. The man we worked with seemed annoyed that I didn't like the first three that he showed me, but he was pleasant enough. We dealt with Patrick Escabi and he "bundled" the extended service warranty (which are always bull) in with the Hyundai Service package (oil changes/rotations, etc.) We wanted a refund ($3000) so went in and returned it and it took MONTHS to get it taken care of-but at least it took 10 months off our loan. I would never recommend anyone work with him.

I have been working with Doug for years now and purchased / traded in several cars. It's not common to be able to talk to somebody who you have a history with, can be upfront and honest, and just figure things out quickly without hooplah. I appreciate that I'm able to come down, tell Doug where I'm at and lay all my cards on the table, and get his straightforward answer on whether or not it works. Doug goes out of his way to develop and maintain the relationship so I don't feel like I'm walking in cold when I decide it's time to look into the next car. Obviously the dealership has to have policies in place that allow him to work with me in this straightforward way so I give them credit too. The price of Hyundai cars in general has gone up compared to the market over the last several years, but they are still some of the best values for your money in my opinion.

Autofair is not a certified dealer with my company, so I had gone in just to test drive the Sonata so I could choose what I wanted for a new car. I'd already tested 2 other cars before the Sonata, so when I got there I knew what I wanted. Allyssa was great to work with from the start. I hate dealing with car salesman, as they've always been pushy and less then helpful. She was great from the start and I really liked her. If I had gone to the dealer in Salem, I would've gotten the car for much cheaper, but I wanted to work with her because it felt like I was working with my friend. I walked in with a price in mind. I knew full well I was upside down on my car, I knew where I needed to be with my trade and a new car price. I was clear about this with the representative on the phone, with the sales person AND the manager. Instead of giving me an honest amount for my trade in, they just started showing me cars and wouldn't tell me what the price of it was, assuring me that we'd work it out after. No. Finally, I was able to make it clear what I was looking for and they put me in a baseline vehicle. The sales rep made a few comments about how I was awfully picky for someone who was so upside down on a car. Seriously dude?! Long story short - I got a much better car (more options) at Grappone Hyundai without having to haggle, bargain or stomp my feet. I got what I asked for as soon as I entered.

Negotiations from that point went well and we agreed on a deal the next day.The facility is modern and laid out fairly well. If I have any complaint, it's the music. I would absolutely recommend working with Matt Gelinas/Professor Hyundai to anyone, espcially those that hate the car shopping experience. He is very full service with his clients and makes the whole process practically pain free. I HATE car shopping and I typically just give him a list of my requirements in a vehicle beforehand including budget and features. HE will then present me with a few options ( again i hate the process so I say no more than three)and I have never once been disappointed. I send him all of this beforehand and show up on the day I intend to purchase to test drive and do paperwork. I can promise you that even if my family moves out of state we will be returning to see Matt anytime we need a new vehicle. If that doesn't speak to his customer service I don't know what will.

If you look at a used car bring it to a good inspection station that you know. Make sure that the front end has been rebuilt also. CV BOOTS STEERING RACK BALL JOINTS anything that has to do with inspection or safety!!!!! I will NEVER GO BACK TO THE HYUNDAI GARAGE!!!!!!!!! Just got an illegal cold call (illegal as I am on the do-not-call list) from Kristina from Autofair Hyundai Manchester NH. She explained that they were performing some system cleanup and wanted to know if I were still in the market for a Hyundai. I explained that I was on the do-not-call-list and she apologized and explained that they just got a new system and that it was not pulling from the do-not-call list yet. Hummm, sounds fishy. Usually you perform system cleanup before converting to a new system dont you? Normally to avoid legal trouble wouldnt you connect to the National Do-Not-Call Registry prior to implementation? Ya I know.Regardless, apparently they still had my personal contact information from over 2.5 years ago when my daughter and I stopped by there looking at vehicles (she ended up with a Subaru).Never have I been in such a high pressure sales situation. Ever. First, you pull in and the only parking on the whole lot is directly in front of the building facing floor to ceiling windows with no less than a dozen sales vultures eager to pounce on you the minute you open your door. It is comical really. They pop up like whack-a-moles. You can almost read their lips I got this one. But these are only the drones. They rush out and stick to you like Velcro the whole time you are looking at vehicles and apparently are instructed not to let you leave without having you speak to their manager. Its unbelievable actually. Then the manager asks you essentially the same set of questions the drone just did? They however also tell you that you qualify for all kinds of discounts, promotional deals, and a bunch of other BS before you have to essentially tell them that you have to go to the bathroom in order to sneak out the back door to get away.And whatever you do DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR KEYS for a complementary appraisal of your trade-in. If so, plan on spending the night. You are captured.Incredible high pressure waste of time.And yes, over 2 years later I am apparently still receiving cold calls from them. And yes I did report them to the Do-not-call registry as well as making others aware of their practices in forums such as this.

When we showed up, they confirmed they had quoted $3,500 to $4,500. When it came time to finalize the deal, they said they could only do $2,000. Very unprofessional!

My son came to buy a used Hyundai.It looked good and passed the quick road test. They kept him there for 3 hrs withholding his car keys and pressuring him until he finally made the deal. Everything from the time to clean the car turned out to be a lie. He took delivery that night. The next day after just 20 miles the car was sputtering andh ad terrible shakes on the highway.He requested the loan be cancelled because the car was a dud.They had tried to pressure him into one of their $2300 service plans and the car was sold as is no warranty. When he returned the car, they offered to fix it-- fix a car he had for 24 hrs and less than 50 miles!! The deal cancelled and they promised to "work very hard" to make good and did not. I know of others they have also misrepresented loan financing terms to and sold these service plans which really do not cover much of anything

Everyone there was very professional, friendly, etc. Our sales person was Vinnie Roe, very friendly and trustworthy guy who did a great job with us and was very knowledgeable with all of the questions we asked. He even allowed us to test drive the vehicle across town to lunch on our own AND take it to the Mazda lot to compare against a new Mazda model we were considering.Many of our past purchases have been the typical "car salesman" experience with haggling and BS, these guys were not like that at all. I would highly recommend them for a vehicle purchase.

The entire experience with the Staff at this dealership was very painful. Numerous trips due to Dealer errors and mis communication. At one point i , the custoimer, was blamed for having to make an additional trip.With that said, I feel i got a Good car for a fair price. Now if I did not have to deal with anyone at this dealership this would have been a better experience for me. John Desrochers is the only employee that was actually of some assistance but only after everything else was going bad.

so I went in to buy a car test drove it loved it ran numbers , came up with a deal couldn't get financing told to wait till Monday so matt could talk to someone in person at bank then was told needed co-signer so I got my wife to do credit app got approved agreed on price trade in and 75 day deferral and autofair would make my first payment so all and all was awesome.....was even told there was no profit in deal for them..haha.matt new my wife was sick so I couldn't make it Monday night contacted him Tuesday afternoon he said he couldn't be there tonight so for me to go in and deal with finance director congratulates me mind you all this is by text....then I get a text saying we would have to get together Monday car was sold....I know they don't hold cars but come on in middle of deal gimme a break. through all this I have my mother who recently purchased a car from them because of me at my house to babysit to get told sorry for wasting your time...oh yeah I had recently bought a car 1 yr and 8 mnths ago....so now I hear nothing back from matt who I can understand isn't at work prolly a day off so wont hold that against him not that it matters. but finance manager answers my call says he will call me back ....guess what no call back... go figure..i don't care what other reviews say maybe because there was no profit in deal with me but come on....that's customer service...maybe they just don't like me......I really hope everyone reads this review , I will also be contacting Hyundai and anyonelse along the way...I saved all texts to in case anyone wants to see them.

While car shopping for a slightly used SUV over the weekend, we stopped by Autofair Hyundai because we were in the area and liked the looks of the 2013 Santa Fe. We were thinking maybe we could get our hands on a leftover 2013 since the 2014 was coming out. We parked and walked around looking at SUVs and saw rather quickly that there was nothing we cared for on the lot. Of course we were approached by a sales person (Lisa) before we could leave and she asked and took notes on what we were looking for. Knowing that Autofair is a huge company, I told her what we were looking for in hopes she could find something that maybe we didnt see. I gave her our budget, our maximum miles and told her we wanted leather and sunroof and neither of those were negotiable. I told her we wanted out of our sedan because we have a child and two dogs and because we want to expand our family, we need two large vehicles instead of just one we currently have. As we waited with our restless toddler, she told us she has some vehicles to show us. Great! We waited as she pulled up the first vehicle. A 2012 Santa Fe with no leather and no sunroof. My husband shook his head no and she tried to protest. He was firm so she suggested another vehicle on the lot.a Infiniti SUV that had 113,000 miles on it (thats about 80,000 miles MORE than we wanted!). My husband told her again, no. Next she suggested a Mercedes SUV that is about the size of a VW Beetle. No no no, the sedan we were trading was larger! I have to mention that there was a GMC Yukon and a Kia Sorrento that we were interested in. My husband asked for the price on the vehicle a few times and she didnt have it, didnt offer to get it and didnt offer to show us those vehicles. I knew the Yukon was most likely over our budget, but we asked to see the Sorrento and she said they couldnt find they keys. At this point we walked outside to look at the Sorrento and bam! the keys magically were found. My husband told me to take it for a test drive because it was fully loaded and had all the options we wanted. He stayed behind with our son because I didnt want to switch our car seat over. There was no sticker in the window so I was unsure of the mileage, but was pleased to see it only had 10k miles on it. I drove it and absolutely LOVED it! I didnt know the price and strangely enough, neither did our sales person, but I told her I wanted to talk price on the car as soon as we got back. During my test drive she casually mentioned the SUV I was driving was NOT 4 wheel drive. But she said 4 wheel drive doesnt matter because it has traction control and great weight distribution. WHAT?!?!!? I was in an SUV that I loved, but we live in New England and it snows here. I couldnt even believe there was an SUV on their lot that wasnt 4 wheel drive. When we returned to the dealership and I told my husband, he told me no way. The whole point was to acquire more room and 4 wheel drive to keep our family safe on the roads. Lisa continued to try to sell us on traction control. I told her our sedan has traction control and she very confusedly asked Its not good in the snow? NOOOO! Its awful in the snow. Traction control doesnt mean squat, sorry. As she continued to try to sell the Sorrento with no 4 wheel drive on us, my toddler was whining and crying. I told her Id leave her my info and Id be happy to talk to her further if she wanted to research for me and found something wed like, but we had to go because it wasnt fair to our son right now to keep going at it. She didnt want us to leave and I told her my son had been having a meltdown while I was on the test drive (which my husband told me). She said, Well Im sure it was because you left and he wanted you. Um, no. That wasnt it. He loves being with his dad and the implication that he doesnt was a rather bold and insulting assumption. He was freaking out because he is 19 months old and was sick of car shopping. As a last ditch effort, she summoned the used car sales manager. I told him exactly what I wanted. He threw out a couple options and I told him no. He was very nice and said they just didnt have what we were looking for. He knew we wanted to leave and knew we were being held hostage. Bottom line: All Autofair Hyundai did was piss me off and confirm to me that I will never step foot on their property again. Do NOT show potential customers cars that dont come anywhere near to meeting their needs. Especially when they had to come shopping with their young toddler! You wasted our time, you wasted your time. Now stop calling me because we bought a 2012 loaded Honda Pilot with 10k miles down at your Autofair Honda dealership (yes, I realize the ownership is the same). They didnt once try to force me into a car outside of my specifications. They werent perfect, but certainly didnt try to convince me I wanted cloth seats and 113,000 miles.

went in to buy a car, made the deal with salesman david white, there were some issues that needed to be addressed with the car, the salesman said everything would be taken care of upon sale, i signed papers and shook hands on his word which turned out to be worthless. i went to autofair ford to get the things he said they would take care of done, they wanted to charge me for what is supposed to be done. i went back to find him, got someone who introduced himself as a sales manager. david white came in after and lied about what he promised me. the dealership sales manager would not do anything for me. the salesman is a sleazeball, ive emailed the dealership about him a few times and have got no response. i have taken this to the bbb, you can see the stuff i filed on them on the bbb site. im now posting on every site i find on the internet and i will be parking the car across the street from the dealer till they fix their bad business

Auto Fair Hyundai was not our first choice to do business with. My wife and I have purchased a Sonata before at Salem Ford/Hyundai and for the most part were moderately pleased. But no more. I refuse to business anywhere else than AutoFair Hyundai in Manchester, NH. Jason is fantastic at his job and works hard for the customer. The environment at AutoFair is relaxed and honest. I didn't feel pressured at any point in the sales process. Even when I denied an initial offer and left the dealership to continue shopping around for better deals. AutoFair relies on their patient attitude and solid service to win over buyers. Some notes on my specific experience:Jason was fantastic with my young children and made a usually stressful experience for little ones about as fun as it could be. John was fair in his negotiations and gave ground in a reasonable way without letting the situation become uncomfortable. Sticker price of their new cars IS higher than average MSRP and other inflated sticker prices at other dealerships. The inflation is explained by noting some decorative and functional additions including pin-striping and a NEW ENGLAND package that covers interior fabrics for 7 years and other coatings and treatments meant to help with harsh New England winters. I found these inclusions to be unworthy of their asking price and negotiated with an available duplicate car offered at another dealer without such inclusions.Again, AutoFair was more than happy to negotiate.My wife and I are thorough when researching a fair price and are tough negotiators. We have had many instances where car dealers become offended at low-ball offers and the obvious sense that their price is being actively compared and counter offered against another dealers price. This was not the case with Jason, John and the rest of the AutoFair family. They continued to work through the challenges we proposed and found a way for us to feel comfortable with our issues.As a quick note. Every dealer adjusts it's sticker price in one way or another. It should not be a reason for you walk away from the car you want. It's the nature of the beast. It is YOUR job as a consumer to wade through the numbers and decide what is legit, what is not and negotiate yourself to a comfortable position. If you expect some funny business with sticker price and don't hold yourself limited to quick, uneducated decisions you can get a fair price for your vehicle. And there is no better proof of that fact than at AutoFair Hyundai in Manchester, NH.I WILL be recommending this dealer to everyone I know.

After a long day of car shopping, I stopped in to the Hyundai dealership and was immediately greeted by Doug. I let him know the very brief version of what I thought I wanted and what I currently drove and the reason I was looking for a new car. He listened and then suggested the Sonata for me but I had come in thinking the Elantra was what I wanted to test drive. He listened to me and asked if I wanted to drive them both and I said sure. Within minuets he had both cars parked side by side ready for a test drive. In the end the Sonata was definitely the better car for me. We didn't waste any time on this visit, he had me test driving the car within 7 minuets of walking in the door and that's exactly what I was looking for. I thought his straightforward and easy going personality was refreshing compared to the people I had worked with at the other dealerships.

I had a great experience when I bough my 2011 Hyundai Sonata from AutoFair Hyundai in Manchester. I worked with Doug Johnson and Taylor Shafer, Taylor helped set up my appointment time with Dough and was very prompt in reaching out to me when i contacted the dealership. Doug was a pleasure to work with as well, was easy to talk to and made the process much less painful than I thought it would be. He got to know me first and find out what I was looking for, then we go down to what I could afford, what features I wanted and what they had that would best fit my preferences. Dough asked the right questions and was very realistic when planning out what kind of options I had and never tried to up sell me into something I didn't want or couldn't afford. Everything went so smoothly that I was leaving the parking lot a couple of hours later with my new car! I also have to give credit to Phil Dumais who handled all the paperwork with me, I was actually in a bit of a rush to make it to work and he helped get me through the paperwork quickly and easily. I cant thank the group over at AutoFair Hyundai enough for how they helped me. My family have all purchased vehicles here and I will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle, Hyundai's have come a long way everyone, check them out!

When looking for the right car we found a Subaru that was a perfect fit, minus one thing, I didn't know how to drive a manual shift car. Doug said he would personally teach me how to drive the car if it was the one we decided to buy.Long story short, we bought the car and after about a month of going back and forth with Doug trying to schedule a time when we could go for an hour and have him teach me the basics of driving a manual, we finally met up. I went into Autofair Hyundai with an open mind looking at new Sonatas, as it was not my first choice of car. Adrian greeted me, sat me down and listened to what I wanted. I am 20 and came in alone and he treated me with respect and did not judge my budget based on age (as other dealers have). After he took down everything I wanted in my new car he pulled one up and I drove it. I wasn't amazed but it was a solid car. Adrian and I never talked price, he wanted to wait for my mother to be here to assure her of the purchase(smart). He was very knowledgable, and helpful. Although I chose to not buy Hyundai, I would reccomend him to anyone!

I hate car shopping, but Doug made it very painless. There was no pressure, no hard sales. Both my wife and I found going to Autofair was a very good experience. We had looked at over 10 dealerships, so we knew what we wanted. We traveled from North Berwick Maine to Manchester it was well worth the trip. Even the Finance guy Phil Dumais was willing to deal on the extra services we wanted for the car(Extended Maint agreement, etc). Overall I think we chose the right dealership.

Buying a car has never been easier. We went to only look and compare vehicles but with the excellent customer service and friendliness by Doug Johnson, we drove away with a new car. To start, Doug was extremely knowledgeable. Doug was able to answer all of our questions and even went and introduced us to another salesman who had recently bought the same model vehicle we were looking at to answer any of our questions. Doug was respectful and polite and understood our time constraints. I needed to pick my son up and they went the extra mile in letting me take the vehicle to pick him up and come back to finish the paper work. Outstanding customer service!!! I was dreading having to go to a dealership and have to haggle out a deal on a car. I went to 4 dealerships in Nashua and my experince at those were solidifying that dread. The first one, the salesman didnt know anything ( let me go find out), the next, I found was more interested in another customer ( I felt ignored), next was too pricey no incentives or deals for type of car and last the dealership was disgusting (things unfinished & broken, didnt look professional)and the salesman look unkept and dirty. Then I went to Autofair Hyundai, Manchester. The place was clean, nicely appointed professional. It had a great selection of cars. The salesman Matt Gelinas was very polite, knew his business and could talk at length about any of the cars I was interested in. If he had to step away, he had someone stay with me to help me until he got back so I never felt ignored. When it came to pricing he was confident that he could put me in the car I wanted and he was right, I was very pleased with the pricing and I could choose the best pricing options for me. Even after the sale he has followed up on service appointments and various questions that came up. For the first time in 34 years I didnt come away from a new car purchase feeling taken. I will definitely come back to Autofair Hyundai and will be recommending it to everyone I know.

This is my second purchase at AutoFair in the past year. The level of service provided to me continues to be outstanding. When I purchased my Sonata in 2011, Matt would follow up on a good basis to see how the car was going, remind me of upcoming service, and just to stay in touch. I have never had that type of experience. That is one of the many reasons I decided to try to get a 2013 Veloster Turbo through AutoFair. I could have gone to other states to get one sooner. I could have probably saved a few dollars. But in the end, it was about the great service and quality salesmanship of Matt Gelinas and the team at AutoFair Hyundai that I went in to get my Veloster Turbo. I was on their list for months as it was a vehicle that interested me. Matt reached out the second he saw it was in transit. We took care of everything in advance so that the day it arrived I was able to take it home. The post sale support remains great and I am always comfortable and able to reach out to Matt anytime for any questions. I am appreciative of the team at AutoFair for their service. I look forward to referring my friends and family to Matt in the future. I have dealt with numerous dealerships in the past. While none of them were "terrible" and most of them were "acceptable", none of them were as outstanding as Matt/Professor Hyundai and the entire family at AutoFair Hyundai.

Buying a car. It's a daunting task that so many of us put ourselves through to purchase a vehicle that will most likely be our main form of transportation. For many, the experience of buying a car is met with the usual comments of distaste or hate, followed quickly by the feeling of reluctance. It all starts when we arrive at a dealership and are immediately surrounded by sales reps, like we are a walking meal enclosed around a pack of wolves. And like prey, we are either stalked like a wounded animal or are quickly pounced on, hammered with questions like the common: "What kind of car are you looking for?". After the initial stage of buying a car has commenced, we then go through the grueling process of asking the sales rep questions (to which we hope they are truthful) about the car we are interested in, without revealing too much information that they could use against us. Then, we put ourselves into our financing options (unless we buy the car outright) which is met with another type of sales. Extended warranties, GAP insurance, road side assistance, etc. All and all expect to be at the dealership for hours, which the whole time you feel like your being taken advantage of. It's a rough game of back and forth and unfortunately, they have home field advantage. While the experience I outlined above might be exaggerated for some, this is the customary stereotype that many of us think of when we think about buying a car. For myself however, this was not the case. Doug was referred to me by a close relative of mine and my experience with buying a car was nothing even remotely like the typical experience. Let me tell you why Doug Johnson is a salesman with a heart...I arrived at AutoFair Hyundia and was greeted by a gentleman who ask if I needed help. I mentioned I was there to see Doug and I was showed to his desk. Doug introduced himself and shook my hand. We sat down at his desk in which we exchanged in some pleasantries before we got down to business. I told him roughly what I was looking for, but mentioned a specific car I had researched earlier and stated I wanted to look at it. Both of us then went out to the lot and he brought me to a few other cars before going to the specific car. He wanted me to get a feel for features that I was interested in, which was great. He told me a little info about each car, but not so much that it overwhelmed me. It was a great approach on his part. Once we arrived at the car I was mainly interested in, he poured out info about it and what made this car different than others on the lot. He was extremely knowledgeable and decisive, which made me comfortable trusting him. He then asked the obvious question about test driving it. He got the keys and the plate, opened up the car and allowed me to look over the inside. It was in great shape and it was apparent that the dealership took good care of keeping it clean both in and out. After being satisfied with the interior, we then took a joy ride around the area in which I asked questions about the car. He was able to answer most of my questions and if he didn't know the answer he made that statement, but followed up with looking it up in the car info. This stood out to me only because some sales reps will manifest an answer under pressure, only to answer it incorrectly. It was humbling for him to do that.On the drive back he asked questions that genuinely showed that he was looking out for my best interest. "How does it drive? Do you feel any shaking? How do the brakes feel?" This was great because it opened the door for me to object to something I didn't like. Again, I point out that he cares more about keeping a relationship and being honest than just the sale. Luckily, the car drives great. No issues at all. We got back and he asked if I was ready to pull the trigger, but I hesitated. I had not planned on buying that day. I felt like I needed to do more research. I explained to him that I needed to look at more cars. He smiled and took the initiative. "Lets go look at more cars then!"He took me on foot to the Ford dealer and we then drove to the Honda dealer. He looked at the cars trying to find something that was in my price range and was similar to the car I test drove. Nothing really peaked my interest and I felt a tad discouraged. "Let's crunch some numbers and see if we can work out a great deal for you" Doug said calmly. And that's exactly what we did.At his desk we talked about my options, ran my credit and finally had a concrete down payment plan. He asked if he could get this deal for me, would I go for it today. I replied that I needed to speak with my wife about it as we always discuss large purchases. I also mentioned that she was working. "Could she take a break to take a look at it", Doug asked. To which I replied that she could totally take a few minutes off to discuss it. Now, there are those who would discourage my need to speak to my wife before buying a car and another salesman might have turned aggressive, speaking on how a deal like this won't last or you don't need to speak to her anyway, but Doug realized that this was important for me so it was also important to him. Again smiling he got the keys to the car and we took a drive to my wife's workplace. Doug introduced himself politely and allowed my wife to look over the car and I could see I had her approval from her constant giggling and excitement. Doug and I then left to which I said I was ready to buy. We got back to the dealer and the rest was history. I write this review to help break the stereotype that so many of us follow about car salesmen. Not all of them are aggressive, ruthless people who only care about their paycheck and commonly use bait and switch tactics. Sure, there might be those type out there, but if you are looking to buy a car I encourage you to contact Doug Johnson. I can promise that you will be completely happy with the experience and not feel pressured. Not only is Doug good at helping you buy a car, he will follow up with you a few days later to just make sure everything with the car is the way you want. Doug truly is salesman with a heart.Update: After two months, Doug again called me up. He asked how the car is holding up (absolutely perfect) and also asked how my wife was doing. Who else can claim their salesman or saleswoman called them months after the purchase to check in? I cannot stress how important it is for any person interested in buying a car to call Doug Johnson!

Avoid this dealer at all costs!Our sales guy, Fozzie was a decent enough fellow, but overly eager to make a sale.The problems started with the Finance Manager Phil. He is overly pushy for add-ons like extended warranties, and then when he is rebuffed, he turns downright rude and nasty to the point of making snarky comments and tossing paperwork across the desk.I've purchased two new Hyundais through Nashua Hyundai and I'm sorry I didn't go back there for this one. I had been planning on buying a new Ford F150 within the next year--you can be certain I won't be going to Autofair Ford for it.This dealership can use some serious customer service training.

He answered all of my questions and provided answers in a way I could understand. He was sensitive to my budget and helped me get into the best car for my money--which included a few features I thought were beyond my price range! His approach to car sales is unlike any salesperson I have encountered and helps alleviate some of the stress of buying a car. I got in contact with Doug after I had an awful experience over at the Honda dealership. Doug was the complete opposite of how they were over there. He wasn't pushy or trying to get me to by anything I wasn't interested in. We had a certain budget to stay in and he made sure to only recommend cars in that budget. If you have a trade-in they will spend a lot of time telling you all the money they will have to spend to repair all the problems with your trade-in, even if it has no problems. They they will make you a low ball offer and when you walk out they will call you and up their offer.

My husband and I were in New Hampshire on business from Rhode Island and we broke down on a Sunday. We looked online for the closest Hyundai dealer and found Autofair. We called figuring they would be closed and Evan answered the phone in service and assisted us from there. He called roadside assistance for us, got us towed got our car in and figured out what happened. The alternator needed to be replaced due to an oil leak and unfortunately they had to order the part. Autofair put our part on an emergencey order, drove us to the New hampshire airport and assisted us getting a rental car so we could get to our hotel. Evan kept us updated throughout the whole process and got us back on the road by tuesday afternoon, this was no problem since we were in New Hampshire until tuesday anyhow. In 30 years of driving I have never dealt with such a courteous car dealer that actually has concern for their customers needs and time. Evan was professional, kind, polite and a role model of how anyone serving customers should treat people. Thank you so much Evan and Autofair Hyundai for helping us out when we were in need. When my wife was looking for a car last December, we researched Dealer Rater and I came upon Doug's reviews. At the time I was skeptical of any dealerships based on my past experiences. But, when I saw some of the feedback that Doug received it seemed too good to be true. So, I remember that day we called Doug on the phone and spoke with him and he told us to come in and talk with him. Again, from past experience I walked in there with my boxing gloves on and a hockey mask ready to defend myself. But, it turned out to be the most pleasant experience we've ever had when buying a car. This is something I did not think I would ever experience walking into a dealership. My wife is Heidi M, so you could read her comments and that would give you a great picture of what this man is all about. We first met doug after I had been in an accident that totalled my car, and every other dealership told us there was no way we would be approved for anything. My husband or I went into autofair hyundai with me on the verge of tears, then we met doug. Doug promised me He would get us into something before we left, and he did. After that I decided I would never go see anyone else. Last week Doug called my husband and told us we should come down because he thought he might be able to get us a good deal. I didn't find the vehicle that I was looking for at this location, however, they were very eager to help me find a vehicle. There was no pressure and I felt that they were working hard to earn my business. They have a huge inventory of vehicles and I was surprised that I couldn't find what I was looking for. The only negative that I would have to say is the amount of phone calls I received in the days following my visit. Summary: I wouldn't walk on this lot ever again. Read on for why.I knew what kind of car I wanted: 2012 Elantra Limited w/tech package in indigo night. I called the lot, asked if they had any Limited on the lot, and the reply was yes, we have several. I drove 80 miles out of my way (I was coming from another dealership in Mass that decided to play games after I got there and was headed home. I live in Maine.) When we got there, we were told that Hyundai doesn't make them in indigo night and they didn't have any Elantra Limited with a tech package on the lot. Strike one. I understand some dealerships have to lie through their teeth to get people on the lot, and we found another) From there, I told the sales manager that I had tried other lots, had been getting games and wasn't going to play any. I had a check in my pocket, a trade in that I wanted at least$6k for (retail was running $12k for the condition it was in, I did my homework) and we sit down. After agreeing to a dealer trade we started talking numbers.Immediatly he starts writing things down that I am required to pay for. Pin striping, gold premium membership, maintenance program...one, I didn't want pin striping on my new car. After seeing it on another car, it looked retarded. Two, I live almost an hour away and am about to transfer to another duty station. I tried a couple of times to interject that if this car was being brought in from another dealer, I didn't want any of this extra crap and he attempted to talk over me. Finally, already not happy with driving out of my way on a lie, being talked over, being forced to pay for something I didn't want, I walked out. On my trip home, I received a phone call from Somersworth Hyundai. Read my review of them on here. Let's just say, after dealing with Somersworth, I now have an indigo night (but they don't make those do they?) Elantra Limited with tech package and I paid a fair price and received a fair amount on my trade in. Would I ever consider walking on Autofair in Manchester again? Not a chance.

My overall experience with Adam Donovan was very positive. His demeanor and willingness to please was excellent. We tests drove four cars in two consecutive days. A good friend recommended this dealership and salesman Doug Johnson. Doug asked a lot of questions about what we needed and what options we wanted. He showed us several models. We care for my elderly parents and needed a vehicle that was not only comfortable for us but able to transport them and my moms wheelchair. MY LETTER TO THE CUSTOMER CARE REP THE DAY AFTER MY VISIT:Michelle,Honestly had I had a little bit less of a worse time at your dealership I probably wouldn't be writing this email, but your sales rep sure did go above and beyond my normal expectations of how pushy and dodgy a car salesman could be.I first had a base model Veloster waved in front of my face, to only find out that the only one you had on your lot was sold. I then, to test my fit in the car, took a higher packaged model out for a test drive. I loved the car but I couldn't even begin to start piecing together a deal because of how hard your rep was shoving the car down my throat. I feel my trade was undervalued, your markup was far too high (not to mention the "value adding" package that I couldn't opt out of), and the whole process was more of your reps/manager churning out a generic sale than me having a buying experience. When I got up to leave I was badgered out the door and then realized my keys had not been returned to me promptly. After the keys had been returned I began searching for my car which was parked out of sight in a different part of the parking lot than I had parked it.I then, against my best interest went to Auto Fair Honda, to search for a civic coupe. I was greeted there by a down to earth and approachable sales rep by the name of Ron. He was very accommodating and worked starting below sticker to get us the best price possible. It turned out that we couldn't work a price that worked for both parties so again due to too much markup, too little for my trade, and pushy management I left.TAKE NOTES ON THIS PART: at 4:45pm on a SUNDAY I arrived at Peter's Honda of Nashua and walked in the door asking for a Civic Coupe LX in Charcoal Gray. I was greeted promptly, asked why I looked so beaten up, and then they TOOK CARE OF ME! They took YOUR PRICE and got me financing that was $45/mo better than any offer I had seen that day. Four sales people and a manager stayed after hours to close the purchase and I drove home in exactly the car I knew I wanted. So I thank you for making it very easy for me to spring for a purchase at Peter's and I'm sure they thank you too for making them look so good. Never again will I consider purchasing an automobile from you or your partners because of this horrid show of service. Your diction in your email is blasphemy as I did not receive ANY of the things you bragged about in that opening paragraph.

I had come to see Doug earlier this year to talk to him about purchasing a new car. I didn't have enough money to make any real financial decisions at that time, so he said to me, "Come back at the end of summer and I will make it happen for you!". He absolutely meant what he said. Two weeks ago I leased a 2012 vehicle all with the help and constant friendliness and love from Doug. He made this experience extremely stress free, even when I would overthink every detail. He honestly made this one of the easiest financial experiences I have ever had to deal with. I wouldn't go to any other dealer because Doug is truly a part of my family and I can honestly say that he is the salesman with a heart. A BIG heart! You can tell that he loves his customers, and you can tell that they love him. I have bought a few cars in my young life, and before I met Matthew Gelinas aka Professor Hyundai, I purchased a Truck from auto fair under the old ownership. The sales guy at the time, who I don't remember his name did the typical sales maneuver and pressured me into buy a car I really like, and played off my emotions as a young person buy his first car alone, which in turn was something that was out of my price range. I in later found out that I paid a too much for my truck that I bought. Which would piss any one off and at my young age, I was naive and learned from my mistake but also put a very bad taste in my mouth when I spoke of my experience with autofair. I bought another car at a different dealership, but after 6 months I didn't like, so once again I was shopping for another car. I was comparing a car I wanted at another dealership, and I wanted to test drive a similar car which autofair only had in the area. When I walked into autofair, I met Matthew, and I actually told him my story as I have told you now. Matt was surprised I even walked back into this dealership because of the poor customer services and the typical sales tactics at that time. Matt is like no other sales person I have met, and he helped me find the car that suits my needs with no pressure attached, and the typical garbage that you have to deal with sales person. I was so happy with the price he was able to get me on my new car, and his customer service is above anybody, I have ever met that it blows anybody out of the water. When I hear people say that they are car shopping me immediately tell them to go see Matt, as you will not meet any person like him! Now after you buy a car how much interaction would you normally have with a sales person? The usual answer is none, but that is not the case with Matt. He encourages you to contact him, to set up any type of appointment for vehicle maintenance, inquiring about a new car, or just to talk about random stuff. I give Matthew Gelinas and 10 out of 10.

My visit to Autofair Hyundai was easily the worst shopping experience of my life. This dealership is ALL about high pressure and poor value. They roll out every classic tactic one might fear from a dishonest, greedy dealership (but not, mind you, from every dealership in the areaI received great treatment elsewhere).Initially I deal with Adrian, who is very courteous and makes easy conversation while putting my information in his computer. Right away I tell him I have been to their competitor Grappone Hyundai who gave me a very good price for the car I am shopping for equipped with an automatic transmission and some nice options, but I want to see what Autofair can offer. Then the games really begin. I hand Adrian a copy of the quote from Grappone right off so he knows the ballpark he needs to play in. He says, dont even worry about it, as if he would have no trouble beating their price, and then immediately tries to switch the conversation to financing (dirty tactic number one). I insisted that I was only interested in the cash price for a car. He leaves to talk to his manager and comes back with a price that is indeed about $200 lower than Grappones quote, but for a base model manual transmission car (the manual alone means it should sell for $1200 less than the auto). Adrian tries to move as quickly as possible back to securing financing before I notice this switch. I hand him my research instead, showing invoice and approximate dealer costs, and explain that I need Autofair to match the discount that Grappone gave me, which was $575 below invoice. Adrian now just sits in silence. I know this tactic too, and I am better at it so I stay silent for longer. He finally lets out a little uhhh and goes back to his managers office.Sales Manager Jean Turgeon comes out with Adrian to take over our negotiations which are anything but that. Jean may be good at pulling the strings on his sales assistant puppets but is himself a real customer service disasterexceedingly rude and condescending right off. It seems like he has come out just to get rid of me. I try to explain the offer I have from Grappone, but as soon as I utter their name he cuts me off with an arrogant and dismissive tone: yeah Ive heard of them. I continue going over his costs and what I expect to pay, but he quickly interrupts again: wheres my profit? Wow! Like I care about his profit. I continue to be polite and reasonable, though, pointing out that Grappone has been a viable business for some 80 years and must know how to turn a profit too. If he cant match their deal, no hard feelingsIll buy from Grappone instead. Thats business, right? Jean says about Autofairs offer but thats MSRPwhy would I sell a car for less than MSRP? I actually laugh at him a little at this point. He persists Blah, blah, wheres my profit a couple more times, blah, blah... Finally, in his greatest moment of condescension yet, he offers to take $100 off if that makes you feel better. What a guy! I tell him to just put his best offer in writing and Ill shop it around. He refuses to put anything in writing! Why would I do thatyou have my word, he says. I say thats not good enough and I walk out and go straight back to Grappone and buy my car at a great price with zero pressure and sales and finance people who are truly grateful for my business.Dont bother with Autofair Hyundai! They depend on taking advantage of uninformed or hurried people instead of earning their profits. They are rude, dishonest and coercive. They practice finance-first and bait-and-switch tactics designed to fool customers into paying more. They will hardly budge from MSRP and their dealer fees are the highest around. If you go there looking for a reasonable deal they will make you feel unwelcome until you either cave in or leave. Try Grappone instead!

I have had a car through AutoFair Honda in the past and had a great experience there. I decided earlier this year to go to AutoFair Hyundai to look at the new Elantra. It was cool, but I was at the time also looking at another manufacturer and did not want to make a decision. I came back a couple of weeks later for a car appraisal. It was at that point that I thought I'd never be writing this review, nor would I be returning to AutoFair Hyundai! Things got a little pushy, much more than I had expected. I went for an appraisal, not to purchase a car WHILE the appraisal was being made. I said to the dealership that I would not return to their Hyundai portion. Man, how things changed! I expressed my dissatisfaction with my prior experience. I received a phone call within five minutes from leadership in the company. I got in touch with the dealership about wanting to look again at perhaps the Elantra and the Sonata. We talked about upcoming cars, how they work with customer's credit, and other areas. It made me understand their business more and at the same time they understood me as a consumer more. When I decided that I wanted to narrow my choices down to a Sonata, a Charger, and I believe a Lancer (three unique vehicles, I know!) I got in touch again and was referred to Matt Gelinas/Professor Hyundai. Matt is the reason I am writing this review today. He was amazing from start to finish. He took notes when I went for my initial visit to go over and see the cool new BlueLink system. He knew within 15 minutes what color, style, and power of car I wanted to get. He knew what was in transit and pointed me immediately to a car that was soon to be coming in. I put a small deposit down to hold the car and approximately two weeks later I ended up leasing a 2012 Sonata SE Turbo from Matt. The two weeks leading up, there was a lot of good interaction with Matt. We discussed the car, he kept me updated on the intransit status, and since it seemed to be delayed by a few days we even looked at other options - just in case!The car arrived and Matt Facebooked, called and texted me right away. I went over and the deal was done at the payment I wanted. More important than the great pre and day of sale interaction has been the post sale interaction. I've had the car for only about 25 days. I did have a little paint chip in delivery. All taken care of! I had a stitching issue with the cloth/leather insert area (common issue, unfortunately). All taken care of! I had a nit picky thing on a part inside my door. Being taken care of now through a special order! Matt worked to have the car re-cleaned and checked out through the recon department. He has been on the phone with Hyundai on my behalf while we worked out some glitches with BlueLink. He's been everywhere all at once.As someone who is in sales management, I can really respect it when you're a customer and you feel the person you're working with is really at all places at all times. Matt has always been quick to respond and I look forward to an exciting 35 more months (maybe more if I buy out after the lease!) with my lease on the Sonata.Great car, great sales consultant...and a renewed faith in the AutoFair Hyundai brand!

Fun to drive, good fuel economy (getting 33mpg mixed and still breaking it in), sharp looking wagon, super family friendly, and great value. Other vehicles I drove that the Touring bests: Focus, Altima, Cruze (eco and LS), Accord, Mazda3 (4 and 5 door), Impreza and Jetta.

Go in there and ask for Doug. The guy is great. I bought a great car from him at an even better price. He's a straight shooter, no bs kind of salesman who doesn't try to push you into buying a car. He does a great job figuring out your needs and helping you select the right car. After making a purchase with him he makes sure that you are satisfied with your new car. I had a few very minor issues with mine and he made sure that they were cleared up the next day- he even refused to let certain guys do touch up work on the car because he only wanted the best people in the shop to work on the cars he sold. I walked into this dealership unsure if I would qualify for a used car, and I left it 2 hours later with a leased 2011 Elantra Limited, more than I hoped for! They were professional, courteous, friendly, and down-to-earth from the moment I stepped out of my old car, to when I left with my new car. Everyone was fantastic. Ayman Hashim handled all of my questions with ease, and guided me to the right vehicle and leasing program. Brandi Duprey walked me through the paperwork with experience, and everyone seemed like they enjoyed their work and were happy I was there (getting a new car probably helped). Super Doug strikes again. I had such a great experience 5 months ago I decided to go back and buy another car from Doug. I went in to buy a used car mainly for commuting purposes. Most dealers you go to would sell you a used car that they would put more money in there own pockets but not here and certainly not doug. He understood my needs and without me knowing took it upon himself to show me options. What those options were was buying a used car that was in great condition and would have suited my needs or get me into a brand new sonata on a lease and save me 75 dollars a month in payments which I thought would be out of the question since they always want 3k down.(which I didn't need to do) It's not rocket science here brand new car not used and 75 less a month. I can't thank him enough for the professionalism that Doug has and his unyielding desire to truly help people to fulfill there needs and go out of his way to make it happen. My only regret is that I have 2 new cars bought thru doug in the last 5 months and don't need to buy another one for a few years. But for anyone looking for a honest salesman that truly enjoys helping others go see Doug.

Doug Johnson...what a wise guy. That's actually a compliment. Doug's got a great personality and disposition with everyone he interacts with. Wither it be a customer or a co worker. When I bought my Elantra from him, he made sure that I didn't have to worry about the hassle of dealing with the switchover of insurance, calling in for a loan, ect... Not only that but all the while, through all this running back and forth to make sure I was happy with my new vehicle, he made sure I felt more than welcome at this Dealership with his quick jokes and great stories. The only downside I found was that by the time I left...my face hurt from laughing so much!! p.s. AND...he also got me a free keychain! Yay!!

I originally went to this dealership because my family has been buying cars from them for 6 years. I was interested in a Sonata, and wanted to trade my car in for a new one. I had gone in one night 5 weeks ago and told Ira that I had spoken to Scott and was looking for him. He said that he was not here and that he could help me. I explained that I do not have perfect credit, but was still interested in seeing if a deal could work for me. He really seemed to have no clue about cars or financing. He didn't even know anything about the packages the Sonatas come with or can be purchased with for extra money. He had me fill out an application, and valued my trade, then came back and said it wasn't going to work. No information as to why, and walked us out. I receieved phone calls from Ira every other day for 5 weeks. Finally, I received a call from Bethany on Presidents day weekend. I answered the call because I was sick of the constant phone calls during work and voicemails left by Ira. Bethany told me that they would offer KBB value or higher for my car, and said that a minimum they would offer is $13,000. She said that she had all of my information in front of her and looked up values on my car, and saw that my car was in great condition and said there was no way they would offer less given all of the information and the fact that they want to make sales this weekend. She also said that she sees that my credit score is not perfect, but Autofair has lenders that specialize in less than desirable credit. In fact, Autofair also uses the company who finances my current loan. Surely they will be likely to write another for me. Bethany said that she was "confident" that she could get me into a Sonata with the package I wanted without a down payment. I live over an hour from Manchester, and I said under no circumstances will I drive that far if I am required to have money down, or if my trade will not be at least $13,000. I once again was told not to worry and that a deal would be made if I came down. I had asked for Bethany when I showed up, and explained that if she was not available because she is an internet person that I would prefer to talk to Andy as that is who my family normally goes to. About 15 minutes later Cory comes up with Ira. I am appearantly supposed to work with Cory, who really didn't seem to know anything more than Ira. He asked the same questions over and over and still wasn't listening to our answers. He made us run our credit again, after my wife and I said we didn't want to without seeing what the trade value was, and seeing if there was a Sonata I wanted there. They assured us it would work AGAIN. After signing off for them to run my credit I asked if a Sonata with the popular package was available, and he said yes. Turns out, there wasn't. Then they give me some joke of an offer on my trade. Appearantly $13,000 means $9500. They said they will never give me more and that was that. My car is less than two years old, in excellent condition and has new tires on it. No scratches, dents, perfect car fax and everything. So explain to me why it is worth $4000 less than KBB and at that, on a weekend when Autofair is "willing to vaule trade ins above Kelly Blue Book value"? They had no answer to that question when I asked. Finally, when asked why they hounded me for 5 whole weeks calling every other day, and why I was told a deal would definitely work, they had no answer. They said they hate that they do that and it's just how they conduct business. Well let me tell you, my entire family will never buy from them again knowing that their idea of conducting good business is bothering people for over a month, making them drive over an hour, then screwing them over. Absolute TRASH!!

Called the dealership to make sure the exact car I was looking for was there, I was told there were plenty on the lot to choose from. I arrived at the dealership with my husband to test drive my desired vehicle a Veracruz. I was waiting some time when the salesman said "I don't know who you spoke with, but we don't have any of model of that car here." After dealing with car salesman all week, I was done. I told my husband right there and then I didn't want the car, even if it was free. This was a total bait and switch to get you into the dealership, and a big waste of my time. The salesman refused to give numbers unless I gave my social security number, so he could give us an exact amount. NEVER DO THIS! I knew my credit score before I went car shopping, I'm not wasting my time. They were the only dealer I went into that wanted my ss number right off the back. I took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese in disgust, knowing I would never purchase a car from them due to all of this. Guess what, no good deal to be had. Our mistake was stopping in at Auto Fair Ford. Same thing, no straight answers, no exact price. We got, "come back tomorrow, I'll crunch the numbers tonight." I am not a math wizard, but Auto Fair Ford came up with a payment for a longer term that was $289 more than what we are paying for the new car we purchased that was the same price. Go Figure, Just don't go to AUTO FAIR!

Matt was charming, direct, friendly and to the point. I was in a car accident and my car was totaled. I had to get a new car, AGAIN! I had purchased the last car with Hyundai and with Doug. It went wonderfully and I had stayed in touch with Big D since my original purchase. Doug would follow up with me to make sure everything was going well and just to see how life was going. I knew exactly where I needed to go to get a replacement car. Doug had heard about my accident so he had been keeping an eye out for vehicles he knew I would be interested in. I was going to buy another Hyundai Sonata without a doubt. After being in a major car accident the car kept me safe and I walked away without a scratch. I went to Hyundai 3 times before I purchased my new car. Every weekend I had a date with Big D to look at cars and see which one was the perfect fit. He would call me through out the week to see how I was doing and if there was anything new on the site I saw that I liked. During this whole process Greg M (Gregums) was there to help me out with the finances. He knew I was on a budget and since the accident was unplanned I did not have a lot to put down on such short notice. He worked with me (and the various possible co-signers) every time I thought I found something I liked (which was a lot). Finally I went and drove the new 2011 Hyundai Sonata. I fell in love and the next day I was driving off the lot with one. Doug was patient and helped me every step of the way again. I find him to be another member of my family, and so do my parents who were also very active in my search! Both Gregs helped me close the deal financially without putting me outside of my budget and I walked away with a great, safe new car, and a great experience. The guys at Hyundai are so helpful and friendly and they go out of their way to try and make your situation work out in the end so everyone can get what they want. Without a doubt I will NEVER buy a car from anyone else other than Doug!Thanks Guys!!!

Doug Johnson goes above and beyond the call of duty. I purchased a new Sanfa Fe and has a small issue after having a moon roof installed. The company that Autofair used to install the roof stained my seats. This was no fault of Autofairs mind you. Doug worked very hard with Autofair to have my seats replaced at no cost to me. I can not tell you how happy I am. I would highly recommend Doug for all your sales needs. I have never had a sales person that worked with me to get to the numbers I wanted not the numbers they said I could afford. I will go to Doug for my next Santa Fe. This is the absolute typical low-class, terribly backward customer service, bait-and-switch tactic dealership. I am from Tewksbury MA (an hour from this dealership) and searched their inventory online. I found the exact 2010 6 cyl AWD Hyunda Santa Fe SE in silver that I wanted. I filled out an online inquiry to submit my contact information. Within 15 minutes, I received a phone call from AMBER who stated she had 2 Santa Fe's that met my search results. I specifically asked if either one had the premium package that included the GPS, sunroof, and upgraded audio system. Amber stated both vehicles had the premuim package and were in stock. I asked her to confirm again that both were silver 2010 6cyl AWD Santa Fe SE with the premium package. She said yes and asked me to schedule an appointment for later in the day, which I did.2 hours later, I called Amber back to change my appointment time to later in the day since I would be taking time off from work to make this hour long trip up there to see these cars. I once again literally confirmed with her that these were both silver 2010 6cyl AWD Santa Fe SE's with the premium package. She once again confirmed this and told me the list price on both. I also asked for the stock number of the vehicles (which was the best thing I could have done!!). She again confirmed these vehicles were in the lot at the dealershipA few minutes before I was about to leave to drive an hour up there, I called Amber a 3rd time to confirm both of these silver 2010 6cyl AWD Santa Fe SE's with premium package were still in her lot and available. She confirmed that they were still there. I specifically said to her, "I want to make sure this is not a wasted trip for me". She promised me the cars would be there. I also asked why on the website for these cars did it not list anything about the premium package being on the cars? Amber stated that the listings were general listings and were the same for every car no matter what packages they had on them. I once again asked specifically if these cars would be in her lot when I got up there so I could visually inspect them and test drive them as well. Amber said yes I would be able to physically touch these 2 vehicles.Well, ladies and gentlemen, what do you think happened? With 3 seperate and specific promises from Amber, I made the 1 hr drive. I got up there and immediately began the search for the 2 silver 2010 Santa Fe's. I found one that matched the exact stock number Amber gave me and it DID NOT HAVE THE PREMIUM PACKAGE. I could not find the other silver one she promised me, so I went inside to ask for her. She came out, shook my hand, and said Josh would be taking care of me. She then turned around and returned to the back room. Josh said he would get me the car I wanted, and proceeded to bring the silver car up to the door that I had already seen and which was WITHOUT the premium package. I specifically asked Josh to show me where the sunroof was and where the nav system was. He responded that this specific car didnt have the premium package, but they could order a car with the package for me. I immediately flipped out, asking to speak to the manager because I was promise 3 TIMES that I would have my hands on the exact car I wanted. I walked back inside and TJ or PJ the manager came out saying that he did not have a vehicle in his lot that fit my desires, however he had some "in his pipe line" that he could order for me. I again got outraged and asked why Amber told me 3 TIMES that these vehicles were in the lot and I would physically get to put my hands on one. The manager had nothing to say, other than asked me to leave because I was raising my voice. I never received a straight answer from anyone as to why they promised me these vechiles would be there, knowing full well I would be driving an hour to come see them. The only thing they said was if I sat down with them, they could order the car I wanted. I told them if this was the way they did business, they were the last dealer I would buy a car from, and I walked out.MORAL OF THE STORY: !!Always!! receive the stock number of the vehicle that an advertisement is about. Also, no matter how many times you are promised that a certain vehicle would be there, no matter how far away you tell them you're from, know that THIS DEALERSHIP WILL SAY WHATEVER YOU WANT TO HEAR TO GET YOU TO VISIT THEM!! IT IS THE AGO OLD "BAIT AND SWITCH" MANEUVER. 3 times I specifically asked for the exact car I wanted, and 3 times I was lied to. I wasted over 2.5 hours making this pointless trip. DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP! Bill Dube Hyundai in Wilmington, MA was extremely deserving of my business. I was greated by a friendly professional and by all of their sales staff. I was told straight up what vehicles they had and which ones they didn't. They were also extremely open about their prices and I was able to saved over $3,500 from the vehicle's sticker price. On behalf of Bill Dube Hyundai, I would like to thank AutoFair of Manchester for their deceitfulness and outright lies, and for sending business elsewhere.

Spoke with Justin Michaud on Saturday 1/2/2010 at approximately 7pm. Explained to him the unprofessional experience that I went through at AutoFair Honda, and expressed that if I come in to view the Honda Civic for $13,926 at AutoFair Hyundai, then I want to make sure that the same thing that happened at AutoFair Honda doesnt happen at AutoFair Hyundai, and the same thing did happened. I informed Mr. Michaud that I was looking for the dealership to purchase my car for the entire loan amount that was left on my current car, and that I would not come down if they had no intention of purchasing it. He said that he saw no problem in working out a deal. I also told him that I would be putting $0 down, and that I would not budge above $320 per month. Nonetheless, the saleswoman, Unchu Macdonald, oversold the car at a price of $13,988, and giving me a payment of $399 and not purchasing my car for the full loan amount, $10,343.85, which Mr. Michaud promised. Her manager's remark was that he's in the for-profit business. The one thing that frustrates me beyond belief is a car dealership that attempts to rip someone off and lie to them. If they are honest and upfront, they will win the customer over and potentially win more business from their friends, family and possible co-workers, but if they lie to them, then how do you explain what you will do to repair the damage? You dont tell the customer that the reason your not purchasing their car is because your in business for-profit! Unchus manager tried to manipulate me, which is why I'm filing this complaint. If her manager was honest, I would have probably stayed, but I cant stand dishonest car salesperson.

I recently purchased an 09 Access and am extremely pleased with the deal. The process and the 1st visit for my oil change was easy and efficient. I would definately recommend Autofair to my family and friends. The only negative thing I have faced was when the check engine light came on and I needed to visit the Hyundai dealer in Salem,N.H.. Apparently, while still under warranty,I was charged for the dianostic test to correct the problem. Afterwards, I called Autofair and was told that I wouldn't have been in Manchester. I believed the warranty should cover something like this.I feel I was ripped off.Please stay away from Salem Hyundai/Ford.They have lost my business. Sincerely, Thomas Abate.

On May 16 I visited Autofair for a two car purchase,This will have been my fourth & fifth cars,4 of which at Autofair because of the past experience were great!I purchased 2 09 Elantra's, 1 SE and 1 Touring.Again I had given them an idea what I could afford and they more than met my requests.My wife and I left quite pleased with our new purchases until a couple of days later I had noticed some faults with the roof and interior head liner of my Elantra SE that I didn't notice at purchase.Being a car mechanic myself for 22 yrs I started looking the car over with fine tooth comb and discovered that the windsheild,right front fender,hood and right door had been replaced,along with roof repaired from some sort of damage.I then called the salesman and explained what I found,he Immediately contacted GM Chris Houghton who asked me to come in at the next days opening so he could inspect it himself. When I arrived both the manager and salesman met with me and I showed them what I had found.Chris was as upset as I was and he knew by my concerns that any attempt to fix the car was out of the question.He explained that he would do what ever it takes to keep my business and loyalty at what ever the cost.Unfortunatly there was no other cars available like the one I had.He then gave me the option of an upgrade to a Sonata Sedan at no or little extra cost. Within a hour we negotiated a deal on a new car that made me quite pleased.Though the experience was stressfull I do understand that these things do happen and Autofair showed how much my business ment to them with there swift acion.

Saw that there was a certain car on their website I have been looking for. Called to make sure it was available, and talked to a women who set up an appointment for me to go up the following day, ran my credit online and said everything was allset. I live an hour away in MA so right before I left I called to make sure the car was still available, and I was assured it was. I get there and don't see the car in the parking lot. I'm greeted by an overzealous salesman who seems to have NO idea what he is doing or talking about. The women I was supposed to meet up with conviently got stuck in another appointment, so I had to deal with this guy. I asked him where the car was, and he pointed to an area and said I see it right there. I go to take a look around where he pointed and it was nowwhere to be found...he thought a completly different car was the one I wanted. He didn't even know the difference. Nice salesguy right? End all, they had sold the car the night before. They lied to me to get me all the way out there to try and sell me a different car. An hour out of my way.

My experience working with AutoFair Hyundai was very good. There was no sales pressure. I felt that they truly worked to get me into the car that I wanted, met my needs, and worked financially. Once I identified my general category of vehicle, I was immediately presented with a range of vehicles (4cyl, 6cyl, two different models, several different trims) to test drive, and there was no waiting I jumped from one car to the next. Ayman, my sales rep, really hustled, took note of what I liked and didnt like, and presented me with the information and options I wanted/needed, not what they wanted to sell. They let me take the car for an extended test drive so that I could relax and figure out if the car worked for me. When it came down to negotiating the price, we went back and forth a couple of times, and Chris and Ayman worked to find the deal that was suitable for both of us I did not walk away feeling like either one of us won or lost. Rather, we worked out a fair deal. And, they were open to ideas. I feel that both the buyer and seller have responsibilities for the buyer, know what you want, know your numbers, be honest about what you can and cant do financially, and if it doesnt work be prepared to look at other options. I felt that the team at Autofair Hyundai did an excellent job! They listened well, communicated well, and worked hard to make it a good buying experience. In fact, the only minor annoying part was when I was waiting for Ayman to track down some information, I was asked no less than four times by four different people (and not just sales reps) if I was being helped and if I needed anything. This tells me that they are very customer service oriented, and I will not hesitate to buy from AutoFair Hyundai again. By the way, Hyundai makes a pretty damn good product too!

After having quite a few issues with the purchase of my new car, Chris was a huge help in getting me through. He lent me a car to drive while my was being repaired and made himself available to me whenever I needed. Although I wasn't completely impressed by the dealership as a whole, once Chris was involved he fixed the situation and made me feel better about my purchase. I purchased a 2009 3.8 Genesis sedan in the late Fall of 2008. What a beutiful automobile! Several months into my purchase a critical component in the dash (control head) malfunctioned. This dealer had the car in and the replacement part installed within two days of my original complaint. Unfortuneltly, several days later the same problem reoccurred. Much effort went into trouble shooting the root cause of the component failure. During this time I was given a free loaner. Despite a timely and what likely was a completely sucessfull second repair I informed the general manager that I wanted to replace, what was now a used vehicle, with a new 2009 4.6 Genesis sedan for what I had paid originally. Despite a used car with off the lot depreciation the the General Manager worked with me until I had a deal I was completely satisfied with. I have purchased many cars over the years and something was always left undone with every single purchase. I am pleased to report that as I drove my new 2009 4.6 Genesis sedan off the lot to head home I realized that nothing had been left undone or to chance. What a nice feeling to finally find an automobile dealership that takes care of its customers and treats them with dignity, respect and most of all understanding. My situation was unique and this company stepped up to the plate and made things right. My team consisted of sales consultant Doug Johnson, assistant service center manager Craig Mackay and general manager Chris Houghton. Each of these men deserve a more than just the hand shake I offered to each! I highly recomned the Genesis sedan and Hyudnai Autofair to anyone looking for a trusted friend in an automobile dealership.

I came to purchase a new vehicle during a bad winter storm. They were exceptional in showing me several vehicles which had to be cleared of ice and snow until I found the one I like. They also spent considerable time finding me the lowest rate of interest and gave me a very fair price for my trade in in fact it was what I had said I felt it was worth. Because of the storm I was there a considerable amount of time. They provided me with refreshments and food. Internet sales - very good experience. Bethany and Jim were great to work with. They gave us a great deal.The only negative was going through the "financing" process - the loan part was fine - but I hate the process of listening to the sales pitch on the extended warrantee. We never get those, but had to go through the whole sales process. And we were only told about potential discounts when we refused the initial price offered. Also, doc fees are too high relative to competition.But this should not take away from the overall sales experience we had there with Bethany and Jim. They were wonderful. And we love the Elantra SE we bought.

Well to sum it up in a nut shell, Great experience!!! Scott was a great sales person. He knew when to give me the information I needed and when to back off. There was no high pressure sales and no BS when it came to the pricing. If you do your home work and know what you are looking for Auto Fair Hyundai will play ball with you and work the best deal. I had a good experience visiting the dealership. All associates of the dealership were,I thought, genuinely friendly and did not rush my wife and I on any particular models or give any false statements about purchasing procedures. Andy explained and answered any questions posed to him in a knowledgeable manner. He also did a good job in showing us the features of the vehicle and the layout of the dealership as far as where we could come in for service and the associated waiting areas. The dealer had a good selection and in the end gave us a "good deal" on the purchase of the vehicle. After the confirmation of an agreement, the finance department was thorough on options concerning maintenance and service. I believe everything was expalined in a clear manner. Autofair Hundai does a good job in satisfying the public of a quality product.

Autofair has been around for a while now and I purchased from them when they had the Toyota dealership years ago. Everyone involved in the sale of my 2 new Sonatas was extremely helpful and honest. Very little pressure to purchase any add-ons or to look at cars other than what we wanted. Doug, our salesperson, went out of his way to find the color combo my wife wanted and with the Sales managers help (Eric?) they did just that. We feel we got a good deal and we love our cars so far! Great experience. I hate the car buying experience. My vehicle was wrecked in an accident so I had no choice. I visited several dealers including other Hyundai dealers and found Autofair to be the best one to deal with. They were quick with all the necessary paperwork. Nick, the sales rep, was great. He knew all about the Santa Fe that I bought -features, benefits, competition. I took the car home for awhile and when I returned it there was no pressure to buy. I actually left, shopped around and returned in the end a few days later to buy at Autofair. Definitely recommend this dealership and salesman. Rated price a 4 since I like most people am never certain in the car buying game that I negotiated the best price but I am satisfied with the dealer and never felt pressured.

Your asking to rate a dealership, that is difficult since I had a wonderful sales person Scott Smoley. Om the other hand the general manger I think that is who he was never got his name only that he wore a green suit and not a people person at all. He did not try to accommodate the monthly payments for me, and did not give me the right time of day. He looked at me as if to say, I don't care about what happens to you there are other customers I can service, this is my interpretation of his presentation. As a clinician therapist it is not difficult to observe looks, behaviors and attitude. This is what I received from this man, wish I had his name, I have heard this about him before. In addition, to a high monthly payment that is over my budget, and promises of refinancing in 6 months if I survive the payment as a single income person. As it stands right now I will be returning this vehicle tomorrow since this manager is unwilling to negotiate, I admit since my divorce my credit is miserable. Even with that in mind I did not expect to get this type of reaction from him. ALL other's contacts were great especially with Scott. Thank youDolores Blier

I set an appointment to see a car and confirmed that the car was available an hour prior to arriving at the dealership. When I arrived the first rep I spoke with told me they had just sold the car. However, I found out that the car had been sold that morning and the two reps I had spoken with lied to get me into the dealership to pull a bait and switch. Also, for have a sale on their initial prices were well above reasonable for the cars they offered. I can't speak to the new car side of their business, but the used car salesmen are sadly cliche.

Having done our home before visiting this dealership, my girlfriend's experience in purchasing her new 2009 Hyundai Sonanta recently was truely exceptional. We knew the KBB value of both her trade-in and the Sonata. The offer on the trade-in matched the highest offer we received and was above a typical trade-in price. The price of the new car, we felt, was priced very competitively. The whole deal required no haggling and was reached very quickly after her trade-in vehicle was inspected. I was contacted by Bethany like one of your other reviewers. Just like your other reviewer, Bethany came out and said she could not help me due to a meeting she was in. Ayam then took over. He knew very little if nothing about what Bethany and I discussed on the phone previously. He did not seem knowledgeable about the vehicles or how to process a sale. He then left and the GM came over and said I would be dealing with Nate. All of these salespeople were aware that I was on a time limit due to having to get my daughter to soccer practice and I had another appointment after them. I filled out a credit application with Ayam but this seemed to get lost. Nate tried to get me to fill one out with him, I told him I already did this with Ayam so he went to get that one from Ayam. He then left with the signed application and came back with a price way higher than I discussed with Ayam. The GM came back over and was very unwilling to work with me on the pricing of the vehicle. Finally we had to go to get to our appointment and they made no attempt to make a sale. I got the impression this place was a scam. I am sorry I gave them any information or wasted my time traveling all the way from the Concord Area. I would certainly like to warn people to beware of a dealership that is so dishonest as this one and I am very glad we left and went somewhere else.

In response to that experience, I wrote the following review on the Yahoo site:**************************Bought a car just yesterday - 8/8/08. Was made to believe it was a good deal. When I got home I did a kelly blue book check on it and found Autofair charged me $5000 more than the KBB listing for the exact same car. I then did an internet search on the same slightly used 2008 Sonata, and found Autofair's own listing for the car (same vin#) advertising it for $2000 less than I paid!Also, they monkeyed with my financing and the payments and terms were not disclosed in full. I brought my car back to complain, and while they tried to appease me with a $650 refund, (better than nothing I suppose); I would recommend everyone steer clear of Autofair! Autofair had been a very respected business in the Manchester NH area, but they have changed owners over just the past 18 months or so and now they are quite a different (and untrustworthy) business.******************************************************************However....The GM from Autofair, Chris Houghton, saw amy review and called to ask me to meet with him to review what had had gone so wrong with my experience.I met with Chris and found him very considerate and respectful. Chris listened earnestly to my issues. After reviewing all of the circumstances, he worked with me to refine some of the pricing factors of my sale (lots of buy on options that had not really been properly disclosed at the time of the purchase). I really appreciate that Chris wanted to make sure that I felt like I was getting a fair deal, which now I totally do.Chris assured me that Autofair was committed to making sure that their customers feel like they are treated properly and fairly, and that Autofair is always looking for ways to work more effectively with customers. I believe that Chris was genuinely interested in my experience so that he could use that knowledge to help avoid incidents such as mine in the future. I also believe that if I had talked to Chris the day after my sale (rather than the stonewall manager I did speak to who by the way, has since been fired), Chris would have immediately helped to correct my negative situation, and I would have had no need to write a negative review.While my initial experience with Autofair was poor, my follow-up experience with Chris was excellent. I must conclude that while there may be some deals that go sour, Autofair does seem genuinely interested in making sure that their customers are completely happy with their deal.I wouldnt discourage anyone from doing business with Autofair.I would however, strongly recommend that as consumers we ***do our homework*** and always ***go home and validate your deal thoroughly before signing*****. I bought a brand new 08 Elantra and had it only a couple of days when it began having some issues. My sales consultant, Scott Somley and his manager, Chris Houghton, made me feel comfortable and important. They gave me all the time I needed to road test several others before making a new choice. It was pouring rain when my wife and daughter walked into the dealership. We test drove and bought the car and within 90 minutes of the time that I first walked into the dealership, I drove off the lot with a great car and a great deal! Ayman made the experience very simple and easy. When it came to looking at finance opitons, he brought in people that could answer our questions. Simple, easy and I feel that I got a great deal. It took longer to prep the car for delivery then it did to negotiate a great deal and sign all teh papers. I could have left the dealership in less than an hour if they didn't insist on filling the gas tank, washing the car (remember it was raining) and review all of the car features. The only reason they are not rated all fives is they were told upfront we wanted a new car not a demo. We were only made aware a the time we signed papers and made deposit the car was a demo and not new. this is a big issue. the dealer needs to be careful and upfront about the cars and if they are demo models. the service was great and the car is great. I would go back but be careful you are getting the car you think you signed for.

On Sunday, 7/13/08, my wife and I drove to AutoFair in Manchester, NH from Andover, MA (70 miles round trip) for a scheduled appointment at 1:00 PM with Bethany. We were told she was with a customer, then told she had a family emergency, so we met with Everett Macey. We spent over an hour with Mr. Macey discussing a Hyundai Sonata Limited, and answering a number of questions in order to complete a credit application for a new car lease. Once the application was completed, Mr. Macey advised that he was leaving on vacation and that either Bethany or the finance manager would contact me on Monday. No one contacted me Monday, so I called Bethany who told me she'd check the credit application and call me back. Bethany never called back. On Tuesday I called Greg Howell, the Finance Director, and he told me husband he couldn't find any paperwork (credit application) in our name. I told Mr. Howell we weren't going to drive to Manchester again from Andover to complete the same paperwork over again. Mr. Howell had a sales rep call me and he who tried to fax another credit application, but that was unsuccessful. I asked if they could email something to me that I could return indicating my agreement to their running a credit check on me, but was told that was not possible. No one indicated that they were going to search any further for my credit application, which I assume is floating around somewhere at AutoFair with all my personal information on it. No further attempt appears to have been made to resolve this situation, and no one apparently cares one way or another. I can only assume that by the lack of customer service either business is so good they don't have the time or inclination to pursue my missing application, or they simply don't care about my wife and I as customers. Under no circumstances would I ever recommend this dealership to anyone, and would certainly go out of my way to dissuade anyone from ever dealing with this entire company, regardless of what model car they were interested in. If this is the kind of service they give to potential customers, imagine how they'll treat you once you've bought or leased an automobile from them

This was by far the best expirience I have ever had while buying a car. Everyone there was extremly helpful and always smiling. Not one employee walked by me without saying 'hello'. Jim Delia was wonderful and made buying a car fun instead of a hassle like most places.His customer service level was exceptional. I told him what I needed within a price range and he did everything he could to make it happen for me. Even after I had purchased the car he was available for any questions that I had. I am a repeat customer and after my second purchase I will no longer be a customer. Both NEW vehicles I purchased had problems that required me to visit the service department immediately after delivery of my NEW vehicles. Also, they are offering a gas card with purchase, but I had to sign mine over to get a better price. Beware people, that free gas card is included in your price. The overall atmosphere is like a travelling carnival--several different people playing "what is it going to take to get you into this car?". I WILL NEVER buy another vehicle form them!!!

When I walked into to Autofair Hyundai, the atmosphere was very low stress. Not like other dealerships you go to. I went here trying to find a car for my sister. Hers was just totalled. Chris Houghton the General Manager asked Jim to help me out. They were able to get me in a car that was very reasonably priced. Jim Delia brought me through the whole process and explained everything step by step. There were no suprises when my sister signed the papers. Jim even helped entertain my sisters children. In the process John went out of his way to remove the saftey seat from our vehicle and insure that all our needs and concerns were met.
