Very disappointed in the finance rate that I was given. I have an excellent credit score (840) and gave the dealership a large down payment. I was given rate of over 5%. They refused to change it to the Subaru deal of 0%. Current update 8/2021: I've had my Forrester for three years now. Still runs great and my service appointments have been very good. That department does a nice job.

I purchased a new winter tire package at the dealership and had them do the tire swap. The over all time to install was a little longer than I had hoped but it was the last weekend before a holiday and there were a lot of people getting work done to their cars. The service adviser and parts person were very friend and very helpful. This is only the 2nd time I have been to service at this dealership but already I am very pleased with it.

My parents helped me buy my first car from craigslist. With that car I recently hit a bear, yes you read that right, a bear! I decided that I needed a more trustworthy car and considering that I ski I wanted something safe in the snow that could hold my ski's. This was my first car buying experience on my own and it was very stress-free. Doug was honest and made the experience fun. He helped me find a great deal and a great car. I heard about Autofair Subaru from a friend that lives in New Hampshire. I was an owner of a 2009 Toyota Corolla LE and Living in New England the winters can be rough. I spent the past 6 years slipping and sliding all over the road. My friend has a 2014 Subaru Outback and was telling me about the AWD and how it has helped him through some rough storms and ice. After hearing many of the same stories I decided to get myself an AWD. I visited Subaru of Plaistow and was greeted by Dave and he was very informative and friendly. I also, found out he was a military veteran like myself which explained his professionalism and passion for his job. I ended up purchasing a 2017 Subaru Legacy Sport with the Eyesight kit addition. The car practically drives itself. It is a very smooth ride and looks very sporty, but not overly sporty. I also, had the pleasure of meeting one of the GM's Don McEwen. He was very friendly as well and made me feel comfortable as we all know buying a car can be a bit nerve wrecking. Lol I didn't feel pressured to purchase my vehicle and they weren't trying to get me into a vehicle I didn't want. They made sure I got a vehicle that suited my needs and one that I would enjoy. Oh I forgot to mention that I am from Boston,Ma. The drive wasn't too bad and after all the positive feedback I got from other customers and the experience I had myself I would happily recommend going to Autofair Subaru of Plaistow.

During my experience shopping for a new Pre Ownerd Subaru, I visited a number of different Subaru dealers. I found that the team in Plaistow, however, was different than other car salesmen I met. I felt like I was being dealt with in a fair and open manner, and even though I started the process with a bit of apprehension, Jared Hafford and the rest of the staff there made purchasing my new Subaru and trading in my old one to be a positive and even pleasant experience! I could not be more happy with the Jared and everyone else at Autofair Subaru for everything they did, and for being a step above all the other dealers in the area! Both Nancy, Service Writer and Jeff, Technician were great as usual. They got me in right away and finished the work a few minutes early. Jeff in particular sat with me in the vehicle and worked through a problem(s) I was experiencing with my radio / GPS / Blue Tooth and hopefully figured out what was ailing it! Dropped my car off the night before just as the service center closed. Met Paul on his way out but he graciously stepped back behind the counter and took care of the car. I had spoken with Nancy earlier in the day to schedule the car for service. As always, Nancy checked the servicing history to confirm the proper maintenance was scheduled. When I arrived to pick up the car, Nancy had it brought around front for me and when I went to pay for the car the cashier was pleasant as usual. I always feel confident when I leave my car in Nancy's hands.

I have heard great reviews on the Subaru , I had my heart set on the Crosstrek, I met with Erik Figueroa on a rainy Sunday morning , he had the car I had seen on the website pulled up front for me as soon as I arrived my eyes lit up !!! Erik explained how the structure of pricing for Subaru's is unlike other car makes and dealers , as we Erik spoke I was very comfortable with his down to earth personality , not pushy , good listening to what my needs were , and had great patience , he was even so kind to offer to move my grandchildrens car seats into my new Crosstrek which I so appreciated !!! I was in recently for an oil change. They always wash and vacuum my car as part of the service. This time they did not. When I asked at service why, I was told they forgot to ask. I asked them to please wash and vacuum. They took the car, washed the outside and vacuumed the front only. The back seat and floors weren't touched.

We've owned a number of new cars through the years and I would recommend auto fair overall. Doug Maranville was our sales consultant. He was persistent, but not pushy. He really taught us a lot about the car we bought. We had already done a lot of research and knew we wanted the Forrester. I also made all the guys stay past closing two times for my paperwork (which as a retail manager is a pain in the xxx and I appreciated it so much). 80 min for an oil change which I thought was a bit long - Guess it needs brakes soon from tech report service never went over anything with me. When I got home that night I noticed what they wrote. When I bought the jeep there, was never told that I had partial Synthetic oil either. That would have been helpful to know in case I took it somewhere else for one. Have 60K miles on my jeep n tech put next oil change at 77K miles??? So 17K miles I need another oil change??????

We went hunting for a car. We knew that we wanted an Outback, but not sure of what year to buy, new or used? We visited AutoFair in Plaistow,, the end of August, and looked at 3 or 4 different Outbacks, different years, different options included. We narrowed it down to 2 and told Erik, our Sales Person, that. He gave us no pressure from the minute we walked onto the dealer's lot. We left, with information on both cars, and said we would be back. Of course, once home I thought of a few more questions. I called and asked for Erik and spoke with him almost immediately; asked my question and hung up. The dealership was very busy upon our return visit. We asked for Erik and he was with another customer, so we waited, walked around to find out that one of the 4 original cars we looked at was sold and there was a couple looking at the others. We had made up our minds on which one we wanted and when Erik completed his business with the other customers, informed him of our request. We bought a 2016 Outback, gave our deposit, and asked if we could pick it up the following weekend, as we wanted a trailer hitch put on. We went back last Saturday and picked it up. Even the financial dealings went smoothly and fairly quick. I recommend this dealership!

My air conditioner was flooding my passenger side carpet. I called service dept at 7:00 pm Thursday night to see if this could be looked at the next day, to me surprise they said bring it up at noon time on Friday. i brought it up before noon they took the car right in, diegnosed it, repaired the clogged hose and everthing was fixed, car washed in less than an hour....How can you beat that for service! Took my 2009 Forrester to the Subaru dealer (I purchased it there new) to repair a loose rocker panel.At first I was sold incorrect parts from their parts department. Asked for credit. Denied. Then ssk for them to create a solution from their parts bin. The quoted me a $$$ replacement panel. I fixed the problem with a stainless steel screw.Paid $$$ for oil change and class B (what-ever-tha-is) tire rotation. This was 2X competive prices. Other consumables replacements declined because of $$$.I have recived many offers to trace in the Forrester from this dealer. I will most likely look to orhers.

My Forester is now three years old. Have add all my service at AutoFair (previously Singer). Nancy works the service task like a real pro. She is on top of everything. For an oil change tire rotation, and safety inspection, I am always out in under an hour. Today, I decided to take a look at an Outback while I was waiting. I purchased a Forester in RI after an exhaustive study of reviews on the "best snow cars". I was initially shocked by the maintenance cost and disappointed in the quality of service I was receiving. I was let down by 2 dealerships before deciding to become an educated consumer. I read many online reviews before scheduling the next big service appointment even though I was concerned that reviews can be skewed or unreliable. Two dealership service departments in MA, NH, RI climbed to the top of my review scale. AutoFair ranked No 1 and Patrick No 2 when I filtered online reviews through my own quality criteria and weight factors... (Yes... I'm an engineer with 35 years of service). Once my first visit at AutoFair was completed, I revisited my review table (Pugh Matrix) and AutoFair has climbed even higher.I do not want to mislead anyone about cost, though. Pricing was NOT one of my evaluation criteria because I have resigned to the fact that Subaru service prices sizzle everywhere. I will also caution that techs can be absent-minded or "miss a spot" under pressure, like everyone else. In this case, the mishap was that I was pulled over by a cop outside the dealership because I was driving away on a flat tire (nobody noticed it while replacing 4 brakes and rotors). Please feel free to ask "how many engineers does it take..." because I was equally guilty. How silly of me to drive away, turn on the radio, and drown out the thumping noise of a flat tire.Most importantly:The front desk managers, as well as the techs were courteous and personable. Being too old and impatient to stay seated for long, I paced back and forth (like an expectant father in a waiting room) in front of the service desk watching the maintenance process through the glass wall. I was often in the way but nobody lost their patience or their smile. OK... maybe a salesman pointed me twice to the coffee machine in the waiting room.Neither the mechanics nor the managers tried to sell unnecessary work to me. I was extremely happy NOT to get a lecture on "recommended" service or materials intended to inflate bills.I showed up 95 minutes before my appointment time, and nobody tried to "correct me" or to protest that I was messing up their scheduling software. Even though they respected customers with earlier appointment times, they also drove mine in a bay and a mechanic who was winterizing cars also found time to make progress on mine. At the end, I left 60 minutes earlier than expected.I can testify that my experience was great and that I look forward to socializing again with the two coordinators and the mechanic I met. Nice people that treat customers with respect. I am going back, and I have already pre-paid for a package of 4 oil changes through their Service Rewards Program.

My 2nd year here, 1sr year i got the lmpression if i bought my subaru that if i bought my car in any subaru dealership, i will get free inspections from any dealership. I bought my in concord nh in 1994, and moved to salem nh last year, sp i brought the car to yhe clotest dealer in plaistow nh. I got it for free the first year, so i thougt my understanding of the policy was right. But this year they told me since i didnt buy from from them, it cant be free. Also they asked if i was fre car wash, but none was done. I was in a hurry so i left without questioning them i then called them , and Bob from service dept said i van drive back to them n get the car wash. I dont go to that direction at all, so i guess most likely i will not gey my free cash wash. Another thing, so theu told mu bf who dropped of f the car that one of my tires has nail n want to ask my approval to fix, mu nf called me right away. But while we are discussing since i know NTB only cost around $10 instead of $20 something from them. So while we discussing my bf said oh well too late, they are already fixing it. I was like what! Since we have other appt after tje inspection, so we just let it go thids time. I felt people from the front desk to mechanics are not profrssional enough. Very bad communication between them and also with customers.

He was excellent and gave me every price I asked for without question or pressuring me to visit the store. I was very pleased with the way he approached the phone call and said I would like to come see the dealership and what he had to offer. Ken introduced me to Dave Saccoccio who ended up being my salesman. Dealing with both Dave and Ken was awesome. Dave walked me around the lot and explained the different trim options with the vehicles. Ken put together a bunch of different quotes with all sorts of different options. This dealership recently changed ownership and I was skeptical about the new owner. My buying experience completely wiped out any skepticism i brought to the building. The sales person, Erik Figueroa, was outstanding. He listened to my wants and responded appropriately, He took the time to find the right vehicle, let me drive it extensively, helped me unload my old car once the deal was struck and in general went beyond what I've ever experienced as a car buyer in the past. What really capped the whole thing was to be able to write a personal check for the purchase. No need to run to the bank for a bank check, no hard sell for additional coverages that I didn't want, minimal paper shuffling - just a simple, pleasant exchange.

I've always had good experiences at this dealership. Every repair has been effective. If I have had trouble understanding exactly what needs to be done and why, the service associate has been happy to explain. Occasionally when I have thought my car needed work they have explained what is going on and why a repair is not even needed! I trust them to take good care of my Subaru and not take advantage of me. I worked with Erik Figueroa and could not be more pleased with my experience. Having recently visited another Subaru dealership and coming away underwhelmed, I was simply amazed by the difference at Autofair and with Erik. As I was under some time constraints Erik worked with me but without pressuring me to make a rash decision. He and others at Autofair went out of their way to get me the vehicle I wanted and overcome some obstacles that I placed in his way. Every aspect of the process was much different and profoundly better than I have experienced elsewhere. I cannot recommend Autofair and Erik enough. When it comes time to replace our other Subaru I will be going back even though there are a number of other dealerships closer. I would also be remiss if I did not mention Jose in accounting as someone else who went above and beyond what I would expect from past experience.

I ended up at AutoFair Subaru after my old subaru died. I had an excellent experience with Rob, the lead mechanic, which led me to look at the online inventory. I found a car that I liked and went in. I met with Erik Figueroa who walked me through all of my options without any pressure. Both Erik and Rob really seemed to know the cars and were available to answer any questions I had. I was heading out of the country for a few weeks, but they took a deposit on the car and we completed the transaction when I returned home. I have no complaints and would recommend this dealership without reservation.

I would recommend asking for Jared Hafford in Sales -he was friendly and made the process easy. My only criticism is the amount of time it took from start to finish - it was a lot longer than anticipated. But Jared explained to me that the computer system was new and they were all still learning it! I can empathize with that. Overall it was a good experience and I am thrilled with my new vehicle!!

My only issue was with the dealership not repairing a dent in the rear bumper that was not there when I test drove the car. Plus, I did not test the disc player in the car on the test drive. My mistake. I cost me $380 to replace it. The salesman, Ryan, was great but someone above Ryan made the decision not to deal with the unworkable disc player and to give me $50 towards the bumper repair, which was clearly the dealerships faulty.

I purchased a 2016, Subaru Forester from this dealer on June 20, 2016. I found the purchasing experience not to be a one sided negotiation but one of mutual participation. My contacts with the sales and financial personnel was a very pleasant experience. This past week while waxing my vehicle I noticed a small dent on the right side of the vehicle. I was heart broken to see my first dent and did not know how it happened.. I went down to the dealer and they evaluated it and told me that they would have someone look at it right away. Thirty minutes later I was handed back my keys and told that there was no charge. Neither the dealer nor myself could say whose fault it was but in the interest of good customer relations my dealer took care of the cost. I was very please with the outcome of this experience. Most of all I would like to say that I have never dealt with a vehicle dealer as customer orientated as they were. I highly recommend this dealer and wish to thank their Service Director and Sales Manager for their assistance in resolving this matter. John was veryaccommodating, making every effort to work around my schedule in a way that would be convenient for me. When unexpected complications developed, John made sure to get us a loaner car immediately, even getting several of the Techs to help my wife transfer a load of groceries to the loaner. Job well done! Thanks! In addition, the Tech ("Ralph") did an outstanding job of diagnosing an intermittent CHECK ENGINE light, discovering a problem that several other Subaru dealerships had failed to find. In the fall of 2015 I was in need of an new automobile. My first criteria was that it needed to be a safe car and it needed to keep its value. Living in Massachusetts I also wanted to make sure the vehicle would perform great in New England weather. After doing some research I decided on a Subaru. Erik went through the financing with me and then I test rode a few vehicles.He was knowledgable about the differences in vehicles and what would best suit me.I ended up leaving that day with a 2013 Subaru Crosstrek and I love it.Erik has contacted me several times to check on how car was and if I had any concerns.I would definitely recommend Erik Figueroa if you are looking for a vehicle .The whole experience with AutoFair Subaru Plaistow was excellent.My brakes started squeeking after a few days. I called the dealership,they got me right in and fixed it. The brakes had a rock in them that had flown up and got lodged in brakes.

I priced out the same car at three other Subaru Dealers and AutoFair gave us the best trade and price on the new car.Although I have been taking my 2012 Subaru to AutoFair and always have been happy with the rates and service, I waited to write this review until we had the new car serviced. The Service Department was great . I called and booked the appointment and they even asked me what was the best time for me to bring the car in. The Sales Associate and the Sales Manager came over while the car was being serviced and wanted to know if we were happy with the new car. I have purchased many new cars and have never had a Dealership that was so caring and concerned about a customer, after the sale. If you are looking to buy a Subaru and you care about customer awareness and customer focus then AutoFair Subaru in Plaistow is the Dealership you should visit first. I have a 2012 Subaru and because of the great deal we got on our 2016 and more important the super customer service we have received, we are going in to look at buying a new car for me. I would never buy a Subaru from any other Dealer......

The salesman knew his stuff but couldn't understand why we didn't want a 2 yo car with 93,000 miles on it. They offered way below Kelly Blue Book and Edmunds price for our trade in and wouldn't budge. It was difficult to get the keys to our car back when we wanted to leave. The manager really put the pressure on us which made me want to get out of there faster. I don't feel I could trust this dealership and definitely would not buy anything from them. You be wise to remember that a satisfied customer tells one person and a dissatisfied customer tells ten people

Do not purchase from them you have been warned. We traded in our car they gave us well below book value but stated the lowered the cost of the new car for the difference. Here is the kicker they increased the price difference above MSRP and charged us $900.00 for a 3m package they never installed. Still trying to get it installed three months later.

Lots of pressure to put a deposit on a credit card, which was not necessary. Certainly no a laid back approach. Being near the end of the year, I suspect they were aiming to fill their quota, and had no great sales discounts for the customer. The transaction was certainly not handled from the customer point of view, for which they appeared to have little or no regard. They were more interested in filling their needs than mine. Problem may have come from the heavy-handed general manager who was being needlessly unpleasant. I would have thought that they could have shown me extra consideration seeing as I was new customer. I suspect also that my uncertainties about the details made it easier to pressure and manipulate me. It may not have been a conscious action on their part, but I certainly felt very uncomfortable and pressured during the whole process. I told them how I felt, and they apologized, but at this point it didn't do much good.

After doing extensive research on the Web, we selected Singer Subaru of Plaistow, NH as our first choice to view available inventory and test drive the 2015 selections of Subaru vehicles. After test driving comparable AWD Fords, Chevy's, Hondas, Toyotas, Mazdas, Hyundais Mitsubishis, Nissin Rouges and Mazdas we felt the class of 2015 vehicles left a lot to be desired. Our previous history of owning five (5) Subaru's over the past 20 years were the main factor to seek out and come back "Home" to Subaru. We were not disappointed in neither the selection nor quality of the vehicles we test drove. Our salesman (Steve Lantagne) was a perfect blend of both a knowledge base and low pressure salesman, answering all questions we had easily and completely. Trust me when I say my husband had many, many questions. Perhaps the best part of the experience was Steve did not try to over sell us on a model that was either beyond our means, or beyond our needs.

We went with a 7-year fabric/paint protection/warranty, and a 10-year/100,000-mile overall service warranty (only a good deal because we will have low mileage).

Leased an Outback and because my wife was going to pick it up I wanted everything possible done upfront. I called several times to ensure she would be all set. I gave a credit card deposit and sent a check for the balance due long before she was picking up the vehicle.When she arrived they said they never got any of the money, they kept her for 2 1/2 hrs going over things that could have easily done ahead of time.Really poor.

Singer had the best equipped Crosstrek from the online inventory searches I had done. Vasili was pleasant and willing to discuss numbers on the phone to not waste ones time driving for nonsense number games. Once at the dealership still no number games just respectful customer service and I bought a beautiful new car. Vasili was a very busy man but still spent the time showing the interior functions of all buttons. He could of sent me on my way with a quick sale done but did not. Very nice man. I would definitely recommend all to shop within Singer's inventory or let them have a chance to match numbers for a vehicle that may me at another dealership. They put out a fantastic deal on my Crosstrek. Finance gentleman was also not a pushy buy all the extras type either. A great experience. Will send all I know shopping in there direction.

Buying a car from Singer Subaru was the WORST decision that I have ever made in my entire life. They tried to SCAM me three different times.The first time I brought my car in for an oil change. They told me that my exhaust was cracked and needed to be replaced along with a donut seal. They quoted the repairs at $1,100. I brought my car to my uncle whose a Subaru Certified Mechanic and he told me that the exhaust was fine and that only the donut seal needed to be replaced. He did the work for $100.The second time they tried to scam me was when I put in a claim on my tires. I had purchased an extended warrantee from Janus through Singer which covered damage to my tires and rims from road hazards among other things. I popped my right rear tire and had bubbles in the front 2 as well as rim damage. I told Singer to put in a claim on the 3 tires. About a week later I get a call from Roger Singers' service manager. He told me that Janus rejected the 2 front tires. I wanted to appeal the claim but he refused to give me a contact. I finally got one from him and when I called Janus they told me that Singer Subaru never reported the damage to the 2 front tires and that I had to add it to the claim. I had to fight with Roger to get them added to the claim. Finally he relented and did and the tires ended up being covered. Singer gets a discounted labor rate for warrantee work so they were hoping to get me to pay out of pocket for the 2 front tires. I didn't have my car for 3+ weeks.The third time my car was totaled when I was rear ended. I put in a GAP claim through Singer but Donna one of their managers wouldn't pass on the info to the GAP company. She kept telling me it took 4-6 weeks to process. When I finally gave up with her and found a contact online for the GAP insurance companies claim department they told me that Donna could fax over the info anytime and they would begin processing the claim. When I told her this she finally sent the information over. AAA paid what my car was worth and finally 2.5 months after that Singer got my GAP claim settled. The hassle of having to make sure my lienholder didn't report me to a credit agency while I waited for Singer to finish the GAP claim was horrible.All in all they lied to me multiple times, were extremely disrespectful to me verbally and ethically, and tried to scam me. WORST DEALERSHIP ever.

I had a GREAT experience at Singer at the same time I was being harrassed by a higher pressure dealer. Kenny answered all my questions by email. Erik showed me the car I was initally interested in and patiently and concisely answered my thousand questions about Subaru - a brand I've never bought before. Jeff "haggled" with me (really, he just agreed with everything I reasonably asked for!) via prompt email. And when Jeff and I came to an agreement, Vasiliy sealed the deal and got my car. Kenny was very clear and patient when it came to signing the nitty gritty paperwork. Everyone was very friendly, helpful, open, and clear when they interacted with me - online, on the phone, and in person. (Meanwhile, the other dealer was calling me incessantly, trying to use fear tactics, trying to convince me that matching Singer was "a great deal" and treating me like I "HAD" to do business with them.) I'm SO glad I chose Singer for my initial purchase, and I can guarantee that I'll return for service over and over! Oh...and of course, I LOVE my new Impreza!!!

They were personable, made the process simple, and didn't play games which I really appreciated. They kept me updated on the status of my Legacy which was on order and when I arrived to pick it up, Kenny already had a jumpstart on the paperwork that had to be completed. Doug also took the time to show me all of the new features in the car and took me for a test drive to try out the Eyesight and to answer any questions about my new car. I was serious about buying an Outback I had seen on the website, so I came in and test drove it. I LOVED it and the price was right. We were pleasantly surprised by the easygoing salesperson who was very knowledgeable and not at all pushy. We thought we should test drive at least one other car to compare to the Outback, so my husband found a brand new Forester and we took that out. We were both surprised at how much we liked it. We decided to think about it for a bit, and never once did our salesperson make us feel like we had to make a decision that day. We were going to wait two days to come back, but decided to buy it the very next day. The process was smooth, no pressure and totally easy. We feel like we paid a fair price for the car and we're really satisfied with the process. We are so happy with Derrick and Singer Subaru we would absolutely buy from them again!

Last week I purchased my first ever brand new car and the experience could not have been any better. I am a huge believer in doing research before making a big purchase - I talked to four different Subaru dealers that were around me. Singer was extremely customer friendly and was quick to respond to any questions or concerns I emailed. Being intimidated by the whole process and hearing car dealer horror stories I brought my dad with me, but honestly I would have felt comfortable by myself as well. It was a very calm environment and everyone was friendly while we waited (they also has a sense of humor which made the experience that much better). I first talked to Kenny and Rachel of the internet sales team via email; they didn't have the exact car I wanted, but really got the ball rolling in getting me what I wanted. When I went in for a test drive I met Vasiliy; as he took my license he asked if I knew C****, my brother who had bout his car here over a year and a half ago, I was shocked and impressed he remembered him. V was super friendly, funny and made sure I was getting what I wanted... He got me my 2014 Crosstrek THE NEXT DAY! (Other places told me it would be weeks). The next day I went back to pick up my new baby with the biggest and cheesiest smile on my face and still have the same smile every time I get in it. Te ladies at the front were super friendly. Vasiliy's appointment that was after me came in early and he handled us both being there very well and was sure to give us both the best service. Mark from finance was very honest about the whole process and extras and I never felt pressured to do any of it. Eddie (the general manager - I think) was super nice and made sure I was getting the best experience and really worked with his team. Apologies for my rambling review- there are so many great things I can say about all of them. I think the VIP Program is an amazing touch by the dealership - great touch for customer satisfaction. I have seen some mixed reviews about the service department, but I'll comment on that when I go in for service. I can't imagine it being a negative experience. So glad I bought my car here and a huge thank you to everyone at Singer!!

Singer Subaru is different than any dealership I have ever been to with friendly, down-to-earth employees who completely lack the "car salesman" persona. All three employees I worked with put me immediately at ease and I was so impressed with their over-the-top customer service (driving over 70 miles to bring me paperwork and diligently searching for lower financing for me - something I had not even requested). They have a customer for life and I am telling everyone to check here before shopping anywhere else!

Initially passed over Singer at my first serious attempt to locate an affordable 2014 or 2015 Forester or Outback. I have a 12 year old Forester with only 105k miles that has served me well and will remain active. I found dealing with Singer Subaru different and very pleasant. We were not pressured in any way. We were shown any make or model that we were interested in. We were also allowed to to drive a model of the car we eventually bought. All our questions were answered to our satisfaction. The car was bought on a Sunday and all administrative work was completed that day and that included financing. The paperwork was run the next day by Singer Subaru and was delivered to us Tuesday morning. The only thing we were left responsible for was the state inspection sticker which I had no problem getting. The only reason this happened was because we live in MA and the Singer dealership is in NH. All in all it was a real pleasure to deal there at Singer.i

My experience was good, Steve was our salesman who was awesome. I was torn between the forester or the outback but quickly realized the forester was right for me and my family. I had a trade in so we decided to go ahead and buy! I am in love me my new Forster. I would definitely go back to that dealership (and plan to, for my husbands new car In about 3 years). My only complaint was that we got there early morning about 9:45 and we didn't leave until 3/3:30. That is just far to long in my opinion when buying a new car, especially since we completed a preaproveal form online before we came in, which we were assured would make our day "so easy and much faster". I am convinced that buying a new car just sucks. It's an all day event, I was exhausted, starving and our baby sitter was watching my son 3.5 hours longer then I had planned on. The sales manager gave me a few things to remedy this, like a tank of gas card so I can come back any time and get it filled free. As it was, we ended up having to leave( to relieve our sitter) with out our tank being filled (this was a Saturday) and Steve came to my house personally and filled it for me that Monday. So I understand things happen and dealerships get busy, it's just a headache for the buyer who desperately wants to be done for the day. So prepare and bring snacks! We plan to go back there and I'm sending my mom there for her subaru when she's ready to buy as well. So long day or not, it's worth it in the end when you are happy and have a new car from a place you liked.

Because of the service and "gut" feeling of honesty and integrity that I got at Singer, I chose the Subaru Forester. I believe this dealership was one of the most stupidest and worse thing I could have done. Since then I find myself with things that are supposed to be working in the car that aren't. The car I choose was a risk because I am financially not going so well, but they told me I would be ok because I have a full bumper to bumper warranty. But these past couple weeks, my car hasn't been turning on. Remembering the guy very convincing saying if I needed anything they would be there, but now something that is under my hood is magically not under there warranty. I feel as if I have been lied to and ripped off. I cant deal with stress of something that should be my secure blanket. Wow. I'm loosing money for something that I shouldn't have. I have made a very bad mistake and I will never go back to this dealership and will never recommended it.

Paul, the salseman help me to locate the vehicle with options needed as well as color. Our experience was so positive becaue there was not the usual sales pressure we have come to expect. Our sales person Steve Silvawas very polite, patient, didn't talk down to us, and did not show or try to sell us anything we weren't interested in. He went overall the details of the cars we were interseted in and went over them again until he felt we really understood everythting. He did not evade or sidestep any of our questions. If he didn't know theanswer or wasn't sure, he said so, and immediatly went to find the answer. Sometimes the least anticipated part of car buying can be your time spent with the finance person. Although it took a while, Mark Eberwas also polite, patient and easy to talk with. He had some financial wisdom to offer that made a lot of sense to us and overall made the financing and seemingly endless paper signing experience more pleasant than I can remember.Our new Forester was ready for pickup the next day as promised. Bought a new car for a fair price, but had really bad experience with the finance manager, Jeff. He talked me into buying extra warranty packages though I was not interested. He said the warranty was fully backed by Subaru and was offered by the manufacturer. He gave several paper work regarding the warranties, but they were seperate sheets for tire warranty, paint and bumper warranty and engine terrain warranty for 7years/100K miles. I was already made to wait for several hours in order to meet the Finance Manager, so I was exhausted and didn't look into all the details of warranty papers. After a couple of months, I had a punctured tire and contacted the dealer for repair as I had bought the extra warranty. Then I learned that I was duped into buying the extra warranty. None of the warranty was from Subaru, the manufacturer but from third parties. I was told to contact them directly to get my car fixed. When I contacted them, I was told they haven't even received any paper work from my dealer eventhough it was more than 3 months since I bought the car. I had to pay from my pocket to get the car fixed as I could not drive on a flat tire. I tried to contact the Finance Manger Jeff several times and left him many messages, but he never cared to call back. Finally, I got hold of another manager and threatened to take legal action if my warranty issue was not resolved. They somehow sent some improper paper work to the third party companies but it did not match upto the paperwork that I received when I originally signed at the time of buying the car. The term was far less, for only 4years/60K miles. I had to go to the dealer again with my initial paperwork to prove that I bought the warranty for a longer period and was made to wait for several hours again. They were able to fix a part of the warranty with one company, but still there are some other parts covered by other third parties who say they haven't received the paper work for the service contract. I think I'm going to sue them this time as I have given plenty of time and opportunities. For the people who have read this review, please use your judgement as I do not want anyone to go through this trauma that I did.

Most everyone I met shared with me where they lived and what brought them to work at SInger. Creating a friendly neighborhood feel to the dealership. Steve L was the sales person who took care of me. I had a mud guard underneath my carriage that had come undone due to a snow bank; although when I got there and they checked it out, they didn't have the correct part. So even though it was a wasted trip, the service people were very nice and of course I was not charged for them looking at the problem.

I have just purchased a new 2013 Impreza. I did initial dealings on-line and was always answered promptly and with good information. I finally decided to make an appointment to go in and take it a step further. Joel came right up to me and introduced himself as did Jen. Believe it or not, we had some laughs, did some dealing, and I made the decision to purchase. Because of some commitments, I wouldn't have been able to pick the car up for several days. Joel called and offered to drive my new car to my place of work so that I would have the car right away. I can't say enough about the staff and service at Singer Subaru.

Customer Service was excellent!! I dealt with Leo, Jeff, and Jen. They were all very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I was impressed when I was greeted by Leo in the parking lot-He didn't just introduce himself to me but also to my children. The whole time, friendly to myself and them. I liked Leo's sales approach and demeanor-wasn't stressing me out in the least,unlike what you can find in some other dealerships. Jeff gave me some suggestions having to do with my credit and accident I had been in-which was very helpful and appreciated. Jen was super friendly explained what I was signing but also got me out of there quickly when I went to pick up my car. I was kept informed as to the status of my new vehicle. All employees that I passed by were smiling everyone made sure that you were taken care of. There doing this great Share the Love Event-donation to charities this month for each car sold-which is awesome! I wasn't looking forward to bringing my youngest car shopping but the experience was great because everyone was so friendly. Shes looking forward to the next time we have to go to Subaru, as am I. I know that It will be a great experience. My mother loved her recent experience at Singer as well. She also just purchased a vehicle from there and loved the experience in dealing with them. We love the new Outback!November 27, 2012 My girlfriend Sharon and I spent the last couple of weeks looking for a Outback for her. We visited and called most of the Subaru dealers in southern NH. I can be a little hard to please when it comes to car dealers. So needless to say I had my share of frustrations. Sharon had a few pleasant and very informative phone and email conversations with Jennifer from Singer. And she talked me into giving them a chance to win our bussiness. That was last night, and today we are both loving the new Outback. When I pulled into the dealership and started looking at used cars, a salesperson approached me, politely shook my hand and introduced himself and asked me what type of car I was interested in. I told him and he right away stated that there was a car that had just arrived no more than a couple of days ago. Leo was his name. He asked me if I would like to see it. He asked also if I would like to wait inside while to moves the car to the entrance. Also asked if I wanted coffee or tea to drink. Once the car was brought to the front he asked if I would like to see it and then take it for a ride. Leo went with me. We talked about all kinds of subjects. He is quite a friendly man. not like your typical sales people. He was never pushy, always respectful, friendly, cared about my needs,both in the type of vehicle and my financial needs. I have never had a sales person like Leo before and I have had many. He is not only a great salesperson but a credit to Singer Subaru. The Finance Manager, Jeff, was also wonderful. He took his time to explain everything to me so that I fully understood what I was signing. He also made you feel quite at ease. I decided to go to Singer Subaru because it is close to my work and I recently totalled my forester. I was met by Vasily who gave me straight answers and an excellent lease rate on a new Forester. Two weeks later I brought my husband to Singer and they leased him a Forester at an excellent rate as well. Eddie Dye the general manager was particularly helpful and sympethetic to our financial limitations. I would recommend this dealership in a heartbeat to anyone who is looking for a fair deal, courteous staff and of course an exceptionally reliable and efficient vehicle.

When I initially showed up at this dealership I was greated by a typical "car salesman" who was not very warm or welcoming. He was smoking a cigarette in the parking lot which I found unprofessional. The car's price on line which we were interested in was listed as 16,000. When I questioned him about the vehicle he said he was pretty sure it was 16,800. I asked him to please check the internet for the price. When he came back out of the dealership he stated that he had checked and that "he was right the price was 16,800." At that point I had to pull up the link on my iphone to show him the price listed on-line was indeed 16,000. He smirked at me when I came up to him with my phone and said "you got the page on your phone to prove me wrong." "yes" I said. I found it completely unacceptable that he would tell me he had checked on line to confirm the price when he had not. Ultimately I went to Exeter Subaru and had a very positive experience and purchased my subaru from Tim Hartford who I highly recommend.

I was shopping for a used car without any luck. I received a phone call from this dealership and set up a date to meet with them. I spoke with Leo and he assured me they could help. My credit was not very good and I had a few bad experiences prior. This was going to be a drive out of my way and still I was uncertain. I had been lied to before. Leo kept in touch with me right up to the date even making sure I found the place okay. He was very professional, sincere and helpful. He is not your typical "salesperson". He listened to my needs and came through. Even after all the paperwork and leaving knowing I was picking up my new used car in a few days, I still couldn't believe it. I spoke to him one more time before picking up the car and he eased my mind. When I picked up my car, we went through the financial paper work etc and Jeff was great. Again, he did not push for any "extras" and worked with my budget with complete understanding. I definitely would recommend Singer Subaru to everyone. I promise you will be treated wonderful! We started our search for a used Forester at our local Subaru dealerships, however, their Take it or leave it attitude left us walking. When we first stopped in at Singer I braced myself for the same attitude, but Leo was different. The entire process was about our needs from the test drive to the financing. Even when we were at a crossroad Leo took the positive approach and asked us What would you need to close the deal? then he made it happen. We left Singer feeling good with a nice Forester.The day after the purchase we noticed an element of the interior was missing. I notified Leo and within 48 hours I had a replacement. I was extremely pleased with the customer service both before and after the sale and would certainly buy from Singer again.

Had a great experience with this dealer and with Leo, very accomodating, friendly and efficient. We went to Singer just to look at some new Subaru models and ended up test driving and buying that day, and the entire process only took about 2 hours !!! I went in looking for a used car and needed to keep it at a certain budget. Paul really listened to what I wanted (a lot) and respected my budget. I wanted an all wheel drive car with good gas mileage. Not only did Paul show me a few cars to compare from one another, he found me 1 with all the bells and whistles. leather, iPod docking, USB, moonroof. I could go on and on. All with keeping my very firm budget In mind. Then Jeff was nice and understanding. He got me a extra warranty to cover me for a long time. Again really respecting my payment. And Eddie gave me great $$$ for my trade. They really gave a different thought about the old cliche with car salesmen. Thanks guys:-)

All in all we had a good experience at Singer and do love our new vehicle. There were a few problems with the vehicle, but they were addressed immediately and to our satisfaction. I feel as though they could have done much better on the price. I feel as though they saw me coming in and figured they could take advantage of me because they knew I was in a tough position and needed a car asap. I had a problem getting in touch with my sales person ,everytime I called I could never get him. I had a to leave messeges that were never returned . Because of that there was a problem transferring my plates over and which in return delayed me getting into my car. I was promised a full tank of gas, which I did not receive. It seemed like a shady place and unfortunately I paid top dollar for a 2011 Mazda 3.

I bought my first ever Subaru here back in 1998 when it was a different dealership. Once Singer took over, I had some of the best experiences of all during any time I need their help in maintaining my Forester in tip top working order over the 14 years I had it. Nancy played the keyboards getting me all set for any maintenance or repair I needed with style, while trying to keep a straight face when I would squeeze my duck key chain as she typed. This became an on going joke, everyone from service to management wanted to squeeze the duck. Then it was time to trade in the old white stallion to a new Outback. Both Li W. Tsao and Vasiliy Popovich were just great in trying to meet our needs for that special car. They found it elsewhere and brought it to the dealership. It was just beautiful, everything we were looking for and more. Vinny Micciche worked his magic with his keyboard and made us an offer we could not refuse and were extremely happy to be able to drive away with an affordable 2012 Silver Outback. We are very happy with what transpired in the change over from a 1998 Forester to a 2012 Outback and plan many more visits and years with them. I would truly recommend them to others as a great and friendly dealership. The Duck Man has spoken.

It is a small and friendly place.. you really get the feeling that they care about you and will do what ever it takes to get you a car without the hassle. I was overdue for an oil change and 15,ooo mile service so I called North Reading Subaru where I bought my car, they could not accomodate me today, I had today off from work so I called Singer Subaru, the woman I spoke to was happy to accomodate me today, I dont remember her name, but she made me glad that I made the call. When I arrived at Subaru I spoke to Jim Crowley , he was very nice, I asked him about coupons and he told me he would give me the best price possible, I believed him. Then he told me he would be having two guys service my car so I would be out of there quicker, I appreciated that,the waiting area was comfortable, they even had coffee.The cashier that checked me out, I think her name was Carol,was awesome, just very friendly and made me feel as though they appreciated my business, she asked for my email address so I could receive coupons. I dont usually take the time to write these reviews but the service here was outstanding, I will plan to have my car serviced here from now on. Thank you

I purchased my 2009 Subaru Outback Sport at Singer Subaru, during the federal governments Cash for Clunkers program. During this time the dealership was very busy, but my salesperson Bob took his time and worked hard on my behalf, to get me a great deal on a fantastic car! After purchasing my car, I knew that I would return to Singer for all of my service visits and I have. They are always very helpful and accommodating when it comes to scheduling service appointments. An exhaustive two-day sales experience resulted in our getting our Forester for $2500 below their list price plus a 2 year extended warranty. You MUST do your research to make sure that you are getting a good deal with any used car and once I found comparable vehicles for less money and less mileage at other dealerships online, this dealership was more than happy to (eventually) rise to the occasion and meet our conditions.

The folks at Singer Subaru should teach the rest of the world how to sell cars. Unassuming. Straight. Friendly. Honest. Genuine. Fair. Thorough. When's the last time you used these words to describe your own family (never mind a car dealer)? Example: My truck broke down on the way to Singer, so I borrowed my mom's car to get there, and they cleaned her car and dropped it back off at her house, then they gave me a free loaner to use so I could work and get around without my truck and all this BEFORE I even did a deal with them or committed to anything. It's like having your own dream team. It's like they work for YOU.

Well when I walked into the dealership, I really didn't know what I was looking for. I am a younger person so I was happy to be approached by a younger looking salesman named John Krysa. He asked me what I was looking for an immediately had some cars in mind. After a few test drives in different cars and suv' s he pointed out this cherry red impreza that was hiding from me, I was in love! We took her out for a ride and I was hooked, now it was time to deal. They had the utmost courtesy in dealing with my challenging credit situation and we came to a deal on a fair price and financing options. All together, I'm happy with my car that I drive everyday and considering this was my first time making a purchase this large, I felt comfortable signing on the dotted line. I would highly recomend this dealership and will be back for servicing and when its time to trade in and upgrade, I hope that john is sill there to take care of me again!! Thanks guys!!

Of course, when I visited Singer Subaru, I wanted the best of the best (the Outback - loaded). As I looked at what Singer had to offer, I realized the Outback might be "a little" out of my price range. Singer had many other beautiful new cars to choose from. John Krysa, gave me the time to just walk around, and, almost instinctively, he approached me to answer any questions I had. With the questions he was unable to answer (finance), he was able to ask and give me all the information to zero in on actually what I wanted, with a price I could afford. John was extremely knowlegable of the Suburu products inside and out. He was very pleasant and determined to get me into a car that has everything I need. When it came to getting a price I could afford, my dealings with Mark Casper, showed me he wasn't as concerned with how much they could get from me, but what I could afford. No pressure, just listened to my particular situation, and we came up with a financing offer I could afford. I will be back here for servicing, and I'm highly recommending first of all, John Krysa, as a salesman, and Mark Casper, the operations manager to get you into a car that you want.

3/2/2011 I am a singal woman. I went to a couple of dealership in february looking for used low milage SUV or all wheel drive car. I have to say that singer subaru was the best dealer I dault with the people were very respeatful and helpful with all my question. But John Krysa my saleman was great for young and new saleman he was very patients with me and if he didnt know the anwser he found the anwser. Then it was time to deal with the all the paperwork and i met Joe Kelly sales manager he was a very nice man went over all the paper work with me and i was so happy to drive off that lot with my new 2010 Legancy. I was the third person in our extended family who purchased a Subaru from Singer Subaru and Paul MacDonald. I chose a Subaru Forester 2.5x Limited and was able to add some great extras to make it a super purchase. Paul is a huge pleasure to work with. He was extremely informative and frank about honest issues. Trust with a dealer/dealership is huge to me and I feel that is what I have at Singer. If dealerships could provide training to other dealerships, Singer would be a knock out trainor for some of the BIG BOYS. Years ago I purchased Dodge/Chrysler products and the experiences I had with some of the larger dealerships could have come right from a Saturday Night Live episode.Thank you for this opportunity to share good feelings about purchasing cars. This is not always the case for many people.

I came in with my Outback, which needed repairs. I had no in tentions of purchasing a vechicle when I entered the dealership and saw this Forrester, which I fell in love with. Since I had dealt with Singer in the past, I talked with Vasilly about the vechicle I was looking at. Everyone was very accommadating and made me a deal that I really liked. They gave me everything I wanted and more. They also explained everything to me about the car and gave me a great warrenty that now I feel very comfortable with. This is my 5th Subaru and the 3rd with this dealership. I reccommend them to everyone as I know they will be treated like I was. The service Department is one of the best in the area and they do everything they can for you at little or nocost. If you had a higher rating these guys would rate a 10+. Aaron Singer, the owner, is always available and really listens to your needs and wants. I believe he wants you to be satisfied and tell your friends about the treatment and service you receive when at his dealership. NOT A PROBLEM! More dealerships should follow Singers' courteousy and dedication to satisfying the customer with not only the best product they promote but going the extra mile to make sure that you, the customer, is completely satisfied with the dealership as well.

I needed a used wagon for my daughter but had limited funds.The car had to have leather,sunroof,nice cd player etc.all that a new driver would want.I called Singer Suburu told them my story and they said they would get back to me.Three weeks later Mr.Kasper called me with a newly traded car.One owner perfect condition,all the options my daughter required.My husband and went up there the next day and bought the car on the spot.A great experience!We love the car and the dealer.

This was the most comfortable experience I've ever had buying a new car. The salesperson answered all my questions about the 2010 Outback I wanted. He also answered questions I had about the Toyota and Ford I was also looking at. Thw price was more than fair and it did'nt take an act of congress to get it.I met just about everybody that works there and they are the nicest group of people. I will have no problem going there for whatever I need.

When Car was sold to me I was told "Free Inspection Stickers for as long as you own your car" however they fail to tell you that you must leave the "free Advertising plates and stickers" on the vehicle or no free sticker. a common case of the Bait and switch type scenearo. Will I return there for another car? absolutely not!
