I recently bought a new 2017 Honda Ridgeline at Autonation Honda Columbus. I brought it back a couple weeks later for some minor cosmetic fixes that were noted during the sale. Nakia in the service department assisted me and she was great! She made certain that all my questions were answered and no matter how small the request was, she took care of it. When I pay that much for a vehicle, I expect it to be made right. Nakia also brought the paperwork and my key fob to me where I was sitting. It wasn't like other service departments that call you up to the desk when your vehicle is ready. But then I was getting warranty work done and only had to sign. And then my truck was sitting right out the front door of the dealership, ready for me to head home. A very pleasant visit! Thank you, Nakia! (I have to return for parts to be installed so I can't rate the quality of work yet or price since it's warranty)

Have a 2013 Accord LX 60k miles. Wife attempted to leave for work car wouldn't start. Immediately thought to myself positive battery terminal possibly corroded . Upon inspecting and pouring baking soda water over to dissolve noticed the terminal connection had completely eroded away. Never in all my years had seen such. Thinking possibly easy fix, went by Honda parts department only to wait 15 minutes while clerk on phone attended to another customer. Unfortunately not an easy fix as I had hoped. Entire battery harness positive side would have to be replaced- cost $160 . Car is only three years old still with original battery - shouldn't happen, but admit battery most likely due to expire at anytime. Car was in home garage , returned home 10 am to have towed to dealership $125. Received no call from service tech.Thusday and most of Friday. . After three attempts to call tech assigned for status late Friday , he quoted part at $100, labor at $350.. He replied part would have to be ordered and should have ready by Monday- Monday afternoon again no follow up call received from tech so I called - car promised by 6 pm . Dropped wife off for pickup and service Tech that checked her out (Brett) casually mentions Oh, you the one with the rodent issue chewing through wiring harness. Confused , Wife asked if it wasn't corrosion and he replied no it was due to a rodent chewing through harness. I went back following day spoke with Ken, service mgr and questioned the rodent comment noted on receipt since the car is in our home garage with door shut or work garage 99.9% of time. He shrugs shoulders and replies I guess that's what they found....I reply that's absolute BS and proceed to show a picture taken of the correded battery terminal connection that had dissolved half into. He non chalantly shrugs shoulders again and said well I didn't see it but I did see the corrosion ...Advised service mgr I wasn't blaming him for Honda making a less than quality battery harness but he certainly needed to be aware of bs his techs are putting out. I will never ever buy another Honda product since using less that quality components for a new vehicle and certainly never recommend or use this dealership or service dept.RIdiculous in every way.

This dealership is either the most incompetent dealership in the country or is actively criminal in its dealings. We have leased twice from this dealership. We should have known better the second time, despite their name change from Carl Gregory Honda. EVERYTHING about any deal you make will go badly. Paperwork will have to be re-done, including the changing of the terms of contracts that have been signed by all parties. They will fail to file paperwork with the state and with Honda Financial. This will leave you having your credit score damaged, having the state thinking you are still owning the old vehicle, being sent bills for your old (traded in) car as well as your new one etc. These aren't minor misunderstandings or aggravations. They have a consistent pattern of extreme negligence or are actively putting off legally required responsibilities on their part as a corrupt business practice.Do NOT buy a car from these people. Drive to ANY of the better dealerships in the state. The review system will not let me give zero stars. Consumer protection agencies or even the Columbus D.A. should be investigating these people.

On Thursday, December 24, 2015, I called AutoNation Honda of Columbus at 8:04 a.m. and, thankfully, spoke with Jeff Mitchell (with Honda). I explained that my moms vehicle had not been working for at least 3 weeks. A few people tried to help, but there was no solution. I mentioned that I would be coming in to town on Monday (from Texas) and if I had to wait until then to get the car towed over for service, I would do that. Jeff immediately said, and it brings tears to my eyes writing this: Oh no. We can do that today. If your mom hasnt had her car well get it over here. She should not be without her car. He assured me that someone could be at her house, within the hour, to tow the vehicle. At 10 a.m., my mom informed me that the towers (from Wimmers Towing Company) just left her house. Jeff called me at 1:15 p.m. and informed me about the initial status of the vehicle and the kind of work that was expected to be done. He was very kind in explaining to me, in laymans terms, what was going on and the decisions I might have to make. Jeff and I were in communication about the status of the vehicle on Monday and Tuesday. He thought the car would be ready on Tuesday, which would have been great for me since I would have still been in town, but that wasnt the case; the car would be ready on Wednesday. I asked if we could get the car towed to my moms house and he said, I will get it over there if I have to bring it over there myself. (Again, tears are forming!) I talked with Jeff on Wednesday to settle the bill and thank him again for all he had done for us. At that time he informed me that it was pouring down rain and he would have to coordinate the tow service. I really believe, if it werent for that downpour, Jeff would have delivered the car himself! That he even offered put him on a high pedestal. I am so grateful for Jeff and the service department for making my familys needs a priority; that they would go the extra mile is heart-warming. I sure hope this review grants them proper recognition for their outstanding service and dedication.With Endless Thank Yous,

Yasmine has been my service rep since I purchased my 2013 Honda in 2012. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and puts the customer first. I have never had my service done anywhere except this location and plan to continue to do so. Yasmine is the main reason that I walked into AutoNation last week to purchase my new 2013 Honda CRV. I am very particular when it comes to the care of my car and the relationship that I've dealt with Yasmine over the past four years makes me confident but I want that relationship to continue. My car was just passed the manufacturer warranty and due for service. With the ad valorem tax coming up on the chopping block, I had a tough decision to make. Part company with my baby or upgrade. I recently had an oil change completed at Carl Gregory Honda in Columbus, GA and as usual I went to Ms. Yasmine, a service representative. I have been going back to her repeatedly for the last 2-3 years. I prefer to work with her because she is extremely knowledgeable about what the technicians are recommending and can tell you how each part works without a technician present and make sound recommendations as well. She can articulate each point clearly and concisely, a clear asset to their service team. Her customer service is amazing, she is very friendly, and I will continue to go to her so long as I own a Honda, which will probably be a while.

Carl Gregory Honda in Culumbus, GA-They took all my money and were more than happy to do that, but when it comes to customer service AFTER the purchase, don't count on it. Salesman was Trey and manager of the dealership is Chase. Trey never called me with updates on my car they sent to the factory to add leather I paid an extra $1300.00 for. I had to call about 7x to find out when I would receive my brand new car since nobody would tell me what was going on. Trey left me on hold one time for 20 minutes where I can hear everyone in the background, but actually LEFT WORK and left me on the line until I hung up to speak with a manager which was Chase. Chase was awful as well. Never followed through with what he said he would. They DROVE my car around and put 466 miles on it when it only had 11 at the time of purchase and did not tell me they would be using my miles.. Then never got my car to me after 4 promised times and did not even clean it up for me, so it looked like crap with dirt all over it. Finally got my car after missing my MRI I told them I had to have it for, which they didn't care, and I wanted my wash, wax and detail in writing from them. They promised me they would at least give me a full tank of gas after driving my car. Finally delivered my car at 7:45pm with an empty tank of gas and no voucher for the detailing. Called them again after being so patient and nice about everything and got Chase on the phone and told him what happened. He said I am "so sorry" and he will mail me out a $75 gas card and the voucher for the detailing and I would have it by that weekend. the wknd went by, I had nothing. Called them the next week to follow up. Spoke with Chase and he said "Sorry I am busy, so I forgot, but I will do it today". Unacceptabe. I gave him another chance, the next two days still didn't have it. Called again and I was given the same excuse. I said he has to get it to me no later than Friday of this week, Chase said not a problem. I didn't get it.. I called Chase again to find out WHAT IS GOING ON. He told me, I am just very busy, so let me get your address (for the 3rd time) and I will get it out if it has not gone. He is the mngr so he should be on top of this porivding customer service, after bribing me with an extra $25 in gas for a 10/10 review.. Funny. He told me he couldn't see if the card and voucher went out because then he would have to trouble himself and go through all the mail. At this point I had it. I told him that he better look through all the mail while I was waiting on the phone because it has been 3wks and I still have nothing they promised me, just 25k taken out of my wallet. Chase then had the nerve to tell me he wasn't doing that and hung up on me. I then had to call the corporate office and tell them my god awful expereince and it was taken care of within 5 minutes and overnighted to me. I hope that Chase and Trey are reprimanded for their awful service and I will never be using that Honda dealership again. I really wish I could write about my whole experience, but there isn't enough characters to do so! They're lucky.

After the typical terrible customer service we received for two days while car shopping in Columbus it was beyond a relief to walk into Carl Gregory and meet George "G2" our salesman! Greg Johnson proved an excellent salesman. Courteous, competent, and very definitely not a high pressure stereotypical salesmen. I arrived on a Sunday to test drive a car that appeared on their website. When I arrived, Greg met me. His first words had nothing to do with how much money I was prepared to spend or what kind of payments I could make. After the test drive, we discussed different options, which were presented as options--not things I had to have. As we talked about the car and the dealership, I had the distinct impression that I could leave at any time with no problem. I wanted a salesman to showcase the car and explain its features without pushing me into a sale--and that's what I got. In fact, the relaxed atmosphere his demeanor created made it easy to forget I was in a dealership. We had a friendly chat but at no time did I feel I had to do anything. We finally discussed the price of the vehicle. Although I had not planned on buying a car, the combination of a good car, great salesman, and reasonable starting price led to make an offer--which was accepted. Indeed, the negotiation was smooth, free of tension and gimmicks, and all together easy. Even though I did not have access to my bank on Sunday, I was able to take the car home. The trade-in of my old car was just as easy and I had no issue getting the price I wanted for it. I have taken my car to Carl Gregory Honda for two oil changes in the past with no problem. I noticed that their price for an oil change, even with coupons, was a little pricey but no complaints due to seemingly good service. ...at least not until this past Friday (October 31st). On October 31st I received a recall notice for airbag inflators on my car. Naturally, I called the closest Honda dealership, Carl Gregory, to schedule an appointment. I was able to set up an appointment to get, but was told that there was a possibility that my car would need to be kept in the dealership overnight. This posed a big problem for me because I would have zero transportation to pick my car up when it was finished. I voiced this concern to the rep I was on the phone with and she said that Carl Gregory Honda does not have a loaner car program (very shocking) but they will work with enterprise to get me in a car. After I got off the phone, it hit me that enterprise is a car rental service and that by her saying "they would get me in a car" it dawned on me that I would more than likely need to pay for this. So, in an attempt to call back and get clarification on the enterprise car program, I tried calling the Carl Gregory Service Department with the number listed on the website. My attempts were in vain. I called this number FOUR times without an answer. I even left TWO voice mails. I saw on the website that they have live chat. This was totally useless because the chat is through the sales department and all they did was provide me with a number to the service department. I called this number TWICE and received no answer. So thats a total of SIX ignored phone calls from me. The next day (Saturday November 1st) I tried calling the service department again. I called TWICE with no answer and left a message. By this point I was very frustrated to say the least. I began thinking what kind of business is this? How can you have a department full of employees with no one available to answer a phone? At this point I considered cancelling my appointment with Carl Gregory and going to the Honda Dealership in LaGrange. However, LaGrange is over an hour away from me so I decided to go through Carl Gregory. Due to the fact that no one was answering after I have called a total of EIGHT times, and my appointment was scheduled for Monday (November 3rd) at 10:30, I decided to drive out to the dealership (20 minutes away from my home) to be sure that my questions were answered.When I got to the dealership I spoke with Cindy and she was very helpful. My service Consultant, Roy was not in so she took care of me. She answered all of my questions and signed me up with the courtesy shuttle service. I also told her that I would not have transportation to pick my car up in the event of it having to stay overnight. She again mentioned the enterprise car program and told me that I would have to pay for the rental car. I told her that I refuse to get a rental car if I had to pay for it. She then told me that they may be able to do a pickup although they regularly don't. Monday (November 3rd) at 10:30 I dropped my car off and was greeted again by Cindy. She told me that for my model, they would need to inspect the airbags and determine whether or not they would need to be replaced. This inspection takes 4 hours. She said that at 3pm they will call me and let me know if the airbags needed to be replaced, if so the car would need to stay overnight. As Cindy was finishing up my paper work, she called out to Roy, and said "Roy! Say hello to Ms. Grady, youre her service consultant." Roy didn't even look up from his computer screen. He just gave me a very somber "hi." Cindy told me that the next shuttle service was at 11:05 so I waited in the lobby until then. At 11:01 I checked my phone and saw it was close to 11:05 so I got up and go over to Roy. I approach his desk and he says nothing to me. I say excuse me. I am supposed to catch the 11:05 shuttle, where should I go? He looks up at me and says "well there's the driver leaving now." I followed behind the driver and got in the car and realized that if I never got up, Roy would not have told me the shuttle was leaving and I would have been stuck at the dealership waiting another hour!! At 3pm I was expecting a call from the dealership letting me know about my car's inspection. At 3:05 no call, at 3:15 no call. Finally at 3:30 I call Roy's direct line TWICE and get no answer, so I left a voicemail. I call Cindy's direct line TWICE and leave a message and get no answer. I call the service department number THREE times and get no answer. I go on the live chat with Shannon Kane and I express to her my need to get in contact with someone from services. She gives me a number and pretty much says she cant help me then leaves the conversation. I call this number and finally get someone, Yasmin I believe her name is. Yasmin tells me that the car will need to stay overnight and that they have ordered the parts. I tell Yasmin that I don't have transportation to get my car when it's finished and ask her if the shuttle service does pickups. She says no. At this point I am down right pissed because they do drop offs but dont do pickups... what sense does that make?! After stressing this issue to Yasmin, she says that she will attempt to do a pick up. Later that evening, at 6:32pm to be exact, Cindy returned my call and left a voicemail saying "Hey Ms. Grady this is Cindy with Carl Gregory. Listen, they did order parts for your car today and Mr. Roy is your advisor. I just took your information to help him. And I got a big note here that you will need a shuttle back... IN GREAT BIG LETTERS, and then I've got this phone number here that you gave meso anyway he will call you as soon as he gets you done. Thank you very much Cindy with Carl Gregory." When I dropped my car off, she told me that they would call me at 3pm. However, she doesn't call me until after 6:30pm!! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE !! This situation has been EXTREMELY stressful. I have never in my life received such AWEFUL service. The lack of communication between the employees and customers is downright pathetic. Make no mistake, I do not blame the employees. I blame management because the employees are a direct reflection of their managers. I for one will NEVER EVER be back at Carl Gregory Honda!

I recently purchased a new 2015 Honda Fit from Carl Gregory. The Salesman (Mike Chittum) and the General Manager (Bill) were outstanding. Bill is a down to earth guy. I worked in sales at a few dealerships myself, and Bill was very personable and engaging which is not exactly common for General Managers. It was an excellent sales experience and I absolutely love my new Fit.Now to the service department. My Daughter also purchase a used Honda Civic in the last week within a few days from my Fit purchase. She bought the Civic from a private party. We brought it to Carl Gregory to get it throughly checked out. Yasmine was our service writer and Josh was our mechanic/technician. Well to sum it all up, the car (being a 97) had some serious problems that needed to be fixed. Josh took us to my daughter's vehicle and showed me and my daughter the items that needed to be repaired. He was patient and took his time giving us in-depth explanations of the repairs which were in fact needed. Well, what could have been very painful experience was turned into an excellent experience indeed. Yasmine did her absolute best to work with us as as the repairs were quite considerable. Josh was a huge help and I am totally pleased with the care we were given. I don't have enough good things to say about Yasmine and Josh. They will be talking care of our Honda's in the future. Carl Gregory has earned my business and I will refer other people to this dealership and more specifically to Mike in sales and Yasmine and Josh in Service. Ask for these people specifically if you are not sure who to go to at Carl Gregory. The rest of their staff was courteous and friendly. Oh, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Steve in Parts. He was also a huge help through the entire process and he went out of his way to cut a key right (which wasn't exactly easy) due to the old wore out ignitions switch. Yes, Steve was excellent. Absolute worst dealership I've ever dealt with. I bought a truck from here and it was being serviced and I was supposed to pick it up that night which turned to the next day which turned into a couple days.... You get the idea, and here it is day 6 and I still don't have my truck but they have my mustang I traded in. I got a little loaner car that is terrible and I keep getting the run around of oh well we'll call you blah blah blah. I JUST WANT MY TRUCK ALREADY!!!!! I MEAN I AM EXPECTED TO MAKE A PAYMENT ON SOMETHING THAT I DINT EVEN HAVE IN MY POSSESSION!!!!!

I was visitng for the holidays and needed to get a problem checked out that surfaced during my travels. I took my car to the dealership to ensure quality parts were put on my vehicle. I found that that customer service was not at the same level that I experience at my home dealership. The service advisor did not call back to inform me of the problems they uncovered. I had to call. Then I was given one promise time, but when they found that the work was going to take longer, I was not notified. If they had called, I could have made other plans. I will never use them again. The prices are highm and the service person was not responsive. I expected to be treated very well by every Honda service provider.

I asked if i could lease a honda fit for $200 per month. Sales person insisted that a credit check had to be run. I told him my credit was over 700, no matter had to be run. Received word that, the price per month was a go. When could i stop by? Went that day to lease a car. Received a hearty hand shake on my arrival, but...was informed that a few months extra had to be added to the lease! Not what i was told on the phone. Do not need to be treated like this.

Took my 06' Pilot in for its 105K mile service, about a $1300.00 job! They lost my key! No big deal, I am a reasonable guy and I know stuff happens. The worst part is they still demanded I pay the full price without giving me my key back. So I paid it and drove off only using the valet key. I called to speak to the GM, he is obviously a busy guy running a terrible dealership and cant take my call. The service manager just said sorry and these things happen. Worst dealer ever, Carl Gregory should be ashammed. I will never buy, service, or even look at a car on any of his lots. I will tell everyone I know you avoid them!

This place is horrible! I went to get my Jeep serviced and when I.get it back there was a crack in my bumper with white paint all over it! When I go to speak to the manager Bob he tells me they did a walk around when they first got it and damage was already there. BS! Crazy they do the walk around when u r no longer present! Never again will they get my business and I will be sure to tell everyone what happened to me.

I went to this dealership and purchased 2 used cars within a week. After driving one of the cars for a few months, I decided that I didn't like it. So, I went back to see what kind of deal they could offer me on another used car. Not only did they offer me a piece of junk that I would have paid over $20k for but, I also found out that the car I was attempting to trade in had depreciated almost $6k in less than 6 months time. When I asked about this I was told 'Those cars don't have a very good resale value'. And, WHY was I not told this when I bought the car in the first place when I specifically asked for a car that would hold it's value over time? I told them that if I was going to pay over $20k for a vehicle, I would rather look at new ones. I was told to 'go ahead and see what you can find'. So, I went across the street to look at their Honda dealership. Afer being presented with finance options that were way out of my budget, I left that dealership and went to another one and got the deal I was looking for on a brand new Honda Accord.

Spencer and Lisa were extremely helpful to us in purchasing our car. Lisa would get back to us by email or phone each time we tried to contact her with any questions. We spoke or emailed her & Spencer almost every day until we actually got to the dealership. At that time, Spencer came in on his day off & proceeded to help us with our decision & transaction quite easily. He is very likable without being pushy. Having driven 7 hours to the dealership, it was so nice to meet such nice people & have everyone be so helpful & have everything get done as quickly as possible. The sales people pressured my 95 year old mother to buy a new car. They even drove to the retirement home to get her to sign the paperwork. She had to have the car towed to the dealership 4 times when it would not start. The service manager told her she had to start the car every two days or the battery would not start. They have taken advantage of my mother and lied to her. I will never do business with them again. I am driving to Georgia now to trade in her new car for something reliable and it certainly will not be a Honda after the way they have treated her.

We came down to see a Mazda 3 but only to find out it had some issues. However as we were leaving we were asked if we wanted to drive over the the other dealship to see the inventory. Gene was the person to ask for. Gene was a great person to meet. He introduced himself and apologized for to us for driving down to purchase a car but wasn't pleased with it. He showed us several cars but none of them was what we wanted. I was walking back to the car when I heard my husband and daughter say Gene found a car Honda FIT. With no pressure.. he said just try it out. My daughter love the Honda. We went into the sells office to get the price and the manager wouldn't agree to the price which was a $500 more than we wanted to spend. We decide to leave and once we made it back to Atlanta we search for that same car and year only to find out $500 was WORTH it. No other cars that we found for sell could come close to the low price we were given at Carl Gregory. The next morning we call Gene put a deposit on the car and drove back to Columbus to pick it up. Thanks again Gene for being patience.

Great Experience! I am always sceptical about purchasing vehicles because its not always easy. Lisa Looney was extremely helpful via e-mail so I didn't have to waste time looking for something that was not available. She located the exact vehicle I wanted. Super Easy! Spencer Hixon was my salesman and he was kind, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. After a test drive and less that 1 hour to come to terms, I felt like I was treated fairly. My expreience with RJ in Finance was smooth and quick. I could not have asked for a better car buying expreience. I would definitely recommend Carl Gregory Honda Northlake!

Inquired about a vehicle at one price, the next day the price was increased. When I asked what the deal was, I was given several excuses for the change ranging from human error to additional service done to the vehicle. Although they admitted that at the time I had inquired it was the lower price, they would not honor it. Bad business if you ask me. Bait and switch

I bought a new car for my daughter Sunday 1 July. I want to say that the experience was pleasureable and stress free. I was not forced, I had opportunity to test drive ask questions, ask questions, ask questions and read and read and read and was served with the greatest of professionalism, coutesy and respect by George Johnson (G2). My wife and daughter did the same as I, and were also very comfortable and had the same experience.... I have read a couple negative reviews by others; I do not know if people ask questions and review doccuments before signing any legal document I am surprise, maybe not, that some grown ups are not astute in their business dealings. G2 showed great understanding and went about seeking every way to assist and help us get the most for our money. We got the best deal, interest rate and service. G2 you have a A+ from my family and I. If you want someone, a salse person, who shows sincere concern and great customer service as we experienced ask specifically for G2 George Johnson. I had a terrible experience at Carl Gregory Honda. George Johnson (G2) is, quite frankly, the worst salesperson, I have come across. The total lack of professionalism was a huge turn off, in my buying experience. It was bad enough for me to drive all the way to Atlanta to purchase my new Honda. It totally does not surprise me to read another bad review about this salesperson. Avoid him as if he has the plague.

I researched numerous Honda dealerships with 100 miles of my home and Carl Gregory in Columbus, GA had the best prices on the CR-V we wanted. Lisa Looney with CG internet sales was very friendly and helpful and found the CR-V we wanted in stock. The salesman (Spencer) was very helpful and was very easy to work with. This was by far the best buying experience we have had.

am not suprised to see terrible reviews on here for Carl Gregory Honda in Columbus, GA. My husband and I recently purchased a 2012 Honda Pilot Touring and a 2012 Honda Civic EX from them. We had a terrible experience with the taxes on the Pilot that they agreed to pay half of (according to our shady salesman, G2). When my husband went to register the vehicle he found out that there were no taxes financed in the loan and none paid when we purchased the vehicle. Needless to say we were very upset that what we agreed on had not been properly put in writing, nor did the finance manager advise us that we would be responsible for payinf all of the taxes. I promptly filed a complaint with the BBB against Carl Gregory Honda and their response was that we signed a document stating that we were responsible for paying the taxes. If the finance manager would have done his job and explained to us what we were signing, we could have avoided this whole situation. They denied paying us half of the taxes as agreed per our salesman so we remain out of pocket $1000 (taxes were $2000). We obviously have great credit to buy 2 new cars at once and brought our business to them. We regret doing business with them and do not recommend anyone else be taken advantage of like we were. Please do not believe the salesman's word and basically bring a lawyer with you when signing the papers so your interest are protected. My husband is active duty military and I can't believe they would take advantage of someone who protects the freedoms they have to even do business. Please send your business else where! All they care about is taking your money which doesn't sit well with me.

Went to Carl Gregory to look for a 2011 Odyssey. Was quoted a price $1000+ over MSRP and told they could not budge. Called two other dealers and got quotes $2000+ under MSRP.
