We shopped around for about a month in the state of Virginia and Maryland. We looked at locally owned dealers and "volume" dealers. Price initiated the sale but the following are what prompted us to go with complete the business transaction with Battlefield:1. Battlefield and other dealers went through my wife first. I did not want to do business with someone that doesn't respect my wife or treats her in a stereotype that occurs during car sale transaction. Battlefield was respectful, upfront and kind. Adam and Melissa were great and I would reach back out them again as my first choice when purchasing another vehicle2. They were upfront about what Internet pricing entails and what those prices reflect.3. There were lots of back and forth requests for information and pricing. They were quick to respond and patient/kind when items we requested simply were not feasible4. Great facilities.

I purchased my 2013 Ford Fiesta in 2014. This car is equipped with clutch in the automatic transmission. I have had to have the clutch replaced several times now due to Ford making a lousy transmission in this year of vehicle. Every time I bring my car in I always get a free loaner. The guys at the service desk are always super nice and courteous to me. Thank you

We purchased a 2009 Ford Flex from Battlefield Ford of Culpeper in late January. A few cosmetic issues were to be fixed in a follow-up service visit. As we literally drove our "new used" vehicle home there was a tire pressure issue and the sales department was contacted. When the vehicle was brought in for the cosmetic fixes one of the parts had not been ordered so a second trip for service had to be scheduled. The tire issue continued and on the second visit we were told two tires needed to be replaced. Honestly our experience with the sales department and additionally their communication to the service department was highly unsatisfactory. I would rate our experience with sales poorly. We went specifically to this dealership to look for a car based on a friend's recommendation. The distance from our home and work to the dealership proved challenging for follow up service as well. The high ratings on this review are for the Service Department only. The professionalism of all of the service department staff we spoke with was refreshing. Specifically the highly satisfactory handling of the issue with the tires by Roy Garrison saved the day. I would recommend this dealer to a friend for service. Thank you Roy!

I have to say that once again, the battlefield service department of Culpeper, is fantastic at treating their customers like gold! It was so unbelievably easy to make the appointment for my oil change and tire rotation, then when I changed my mind and wanted to add putting tires on my vehicle-they made the adjustments. Then when things were taking a little longer than expected to get the work done, they allowed me to borrow a vehicle so that I could still get my children from daycare. Everyone is so wonderful and they just continuously put their customers first. I would not dream of taking my vehicle anywhere else!

Fantastic experience all around. Will, our salesperson was nice, helpful and not pushy at all. He was understanding with our three kids and was able to meet our stringent requirements with a smile and good humor. The finance team was great as well, they got us a good and explained all the terms and was able to get us out of there in a timely fashion. The selection was also good. We have a long list of requirements and found a cat that exceeded those without also exceeding the budget

We just bought our second used car from Battlefield. Everyone was pleasant, courteous and very helpful. It wasn't a planned purchase, but they all did their best to make the process a positive one. They even drove the car to our mechanic to let him check it out and give us an opinion before we bought. Basically everyone went above and beyond what they had to do to help us. The car (Toyota Prius) is great and we're enjoying it. Thanks everyone, and especially thanks to Adam Powell. Hopefully the next time we have to buy a car, it won't be an emergency, but we'll definitely be back to Battlefield.

This is my second trip to Battlefield Ford, Culpeper to purchase a car. I loved the last one and am now enjoying my 2016 Focus SE. The entire staff is phenomenal. Sales Consultant Cheryl Brown was so polite and thoughtful in explaining every detail of each model we looked at. She and General Sales Manager Greg Powell patiently explained the advantages of the current deals on new vs. used and, as always, they were great. I can't say enough about the rest of the staff, too. New Car Sales Manager Melissa Jenkins and Finance Manager Amy Smith smiled and waved as I walked in the sales office. They remembered me! I know someone will be getting a great certified pre-owned in my trade-in thanks to the maintenance and service staff who always took great care of me. Even the detailer, who had to stay late to polish it up for me was smiling as he delivered my keys an hour after closing time. Thanks to all at Battlefield Ford, Culpeper. I recommend them to everyone I know.

Recently purchased a nice pre-owned vehicle. My sales person was very knowledgeable and made the experience pleasant to buy a car. My only problem was two things happen within a week of me having the car with no courtesy help from the dealership. A $300 fix. My advice is make sure you have inspected everything on the vehicle before signing off. Still a nice car that I love but feel they could have offered to pay for the repairs. Oh well you live and you learn.

Best experience I have ever had at a car dealership. Met Cody Lillard at the lot and show us exactly what we wanted. Offered us a test drive and we were off. When came back Cody ask we there was anything else we would like to look at. We had decided while on test drive we wanted the car.Cody treated us like you should be treated when buying, offered drinks and food during the waiting for approval. I have been a long time customer at Battlefield. My wife and I have purchased 5 different vehicles there. Recently my wife took the pickup in for State Inspection after having to gotten a windshield replaced and new tires put on by another company. The vehicle failed inspection. The tech pointed out 1100.00+ worth of needed repairs including TIRES. So I took the vehicle to get a second look at a different repair shop. Not only did the truck pass inspection including tires. But the only suggested repair for the near future cost 100.00. I believe this was an attempt to milk me for extra money.

Battlefield Ford of Culpeper allowed me to give my wife the surprise of her life by surprising her with the new van she has always wanted. They were VERY accomdating with letting me come in in advance and test drive/fill out paper work and then in allowing me to take an "extended test drvie" to her place of work to surprise her. Very courteous sales staff and gave us fair prices not only for our trade n but also for the van we were purchasing. VERY HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!

Came to buy a specific car, and walked away with it! The sales person was helpful, above board, not pushy. I am not buying another car anytime soon, but when ready to, I will surely check them out. The deal was okay, as I think I got the going rate for what I got. I only hope dealerships in general find a way to do away with all the different fees and clump them all into the "dealers need to make money" category, charge you a flat $500.00 amount per sale and call it a day. When paying the various fees, with fancy name labels, you get that "They are siticking it to me!" unshakeable feeling. The feeling goes away after a couple of days. Other than that, nice people doing decent business, making an honest living the American way, like the rest of us.

I have been going to Battlefield Ford for a number of years and will continue to do so. The staff is amazing. Adam Powell is my go-to guy for anything and everything and when he was not available Cody was able to step in and meet the level of professionalism I had come to know. The Managers, Greg and Melissa are incredibly skilled at their jobs and are quite pleasant to work with. To top if off the finance crew is top notch. Amy and Scott are ridiculously good at their jobs. If you're not a Ford fan now, just wait until you work with this group of folks. You will never want to go to another dealership. I know I won't. Many thanks to this awesome group of people who are more like friends than anything else. You guys are excellent. Oh and if you need a laugh, Mr. Fay is the man to speak too. He will have you cracking up in no time at all. Best dealership on the planet. You guys have my business for life. P.s. to those reading this, if you want to work with the best salesmen on the planet, ask for Adam or Cody. They will do right by you and your pocketbook. 3 stars for the facilities because the building is a bit dated, but they are slated to build a new one, which is long over due.

I had been working with 5 dealerships from Fairfax to Winchester to Warrenton to Front Royal and Battlefield Ford in Culpeper. Since this was to by my last truck purchase, I wanted it to be just what I wanted. No dealership had the truck, so I had to negotiate on building the truck. Not only did Austin work with me over the course of several weeks but I ended up a better truck than I thought I could afford. I received a more than fair price for my trade-in and was comfortable with the price of the new vehicle. It was not the most convenient place for me to go but it was well worth it. And the truck? F350 Super Cab, 8 foot bed, tri-coat platinum white, Lariat with the extra options in the interior. This truck is beautiful. I've had it for two days and will probably take a while to figure out how everything works. I think it does more than my iPhone.

I always receive good service at this Culpeper dealership. The service staff was very understanding and polite when answering all my questions and concerns, even when I was not so nice. Brendon was super.

There is no zero star.. Otherwise I would have given 0 instead of 1 star. If you are looking to buy used cars - don't even think of coming here. They sometimes put cheap price and make you buy the car. But the car will have some issue and you will end up spending more money. Their used car managers are rude. Specially Greg. I recently bought a car - it had a rear headrest missing. When I asked for it - they say they did not record anything missing in the car. The car had a bad tire which was making noise. I requested them to replace it - but they denied it. Once again I would say.. Stay away from this dealer. There are many other good dealers outside. Do your research before you go this place.

Took it back for a repair and they were very professional about repairing the problem with no cost to me. I was very pleased with the service I received at Battlefield.

we tried several dealers in the area to locate and purchase an F-150 Lariet with specific requirements. Our sales contact, Cody Lillard was truthful, very responsive, and quite helpful in the process. he went the extra distance to make us want to come in and work with him during our buying expereince. He located a truck we could live with and was exceptionally willing to negotiate a fair deal. His whole team was responsive, knowledgeable at what they do and efficient. Most importatly they were respectful of our time--that is unlikely in most purchase environments where they play you until you cry uncle. when it was time to cap the deal we did not get that back and forth feeling of salesman to manager etc. rather his manager Bob came to us and worked out the final agreement that left us with a good feeling not a wornout one. We got a good deal and i will go to them first for my next opportunity to buy a vehcle and will take a look at their customer service as well on maintenance needs.

I have purchased Ford vehicles all my life. I'm 49 years old and I have never had such a quality experience as I did with battlefield Ford in Culpeper. My salesman that was referred to me by a friend, Sami Obarski was absolutely terrific. His knowledge of the F150 I purchased was amazing. He made this buying experience an A+ deal for me. He did everything he could to make this deal smooth and exciting. Who says buying a truck is hard. Dan Obarski was so pleasant and accommodating. Before the deal was made, my daughter and I were going to get some lunch to have time to think about this potential purchase. Dan offered to buy us a pizza and have it delivered right there at the dealership for us. We gladly accepted his offer and at the same time I finalized the deal with Dan and the sales manager who was also terrific. Within 15 minutes my daughter and I were eating a great pizza while we were waiting for our truck to be detailed. Need I say more. The Service Team treats my 8 year old Mercury Mariner as if it were a Mercedes. I always find the staff to be friendly, helpful and polite. Josh in particular pays particular attention to see that everything is taken care of and that we are aware of all of our choices.

Battlefield Ford of Culpeper is the dealership that I purchased my very first vehicle from. I will admit I was a little nervous about buying a vehicle...I had never done it before and I was afraid of ending up with a vehicle that I didn't truly enjoy. But my fears were calmed as soon as I was greeted by a Battlefield Ford salesperson. I knew I was in good hands. Everyone at Battlefield Ford of Culpeper was very professional and demonstrated exceptional customer service. I know that they work hard everyday to get the best deals for their customers. I bought a new 2014 F250 on December 20, 2013. I would like to thank Christine Bull and Bob Calhoun for making a great deal happen. They are true professionals and this was the easiest purchase I have made. You will see Battlefield Ford is not like all the rest.......I drove an hour to buy from Battlefield Ford and I am glad I did. Sales and Service are outstanding.When my truck was delivered there was a defect in one of the mirrors, the service department went above and beyond. They ordered a new mirror, however when it arrived it was the wrong one. They made it right by taking one off a new truck in the lot to fix the issue. Nowe that is service. I will use Battlefiled for all my service needs, they are one of a kind. Thank you.

I recently purchased a Ford Focus from this dealership. I had a great experience here. The Sales person, Christine was very helpful and knew what she was talking about.The car and deal was described perfectly. When I got there, I got exactly what was promised to me. The deal took a very short amount of time. Everyone was great there, I will be buying all my vehicles from here from now on.

Talked to Josh after reading the description of a 2009 Corvette they had on AutoTrader. Terms like "babied one owner gem", and "treated like a member of the family", lastly "you will have hit the jackpot". All I can say about those is if this car was a member of the family then there's a lot of family abuse going on. Nose piece on left side was sticking up past the headlight; the mounting tab was broken; gouge out of drivers door threshold; rear cowl behind the glass the finish was cracked and crazed, obviously the rear had hit something and compressed the body to make that happen; left rear corner had hit something, and had been touched up with a brush and touch up paint. A LOT of rash behind each wheel. If I had not driven 1 hour 45 minutes (both ways) to see this car, it wouldn't have been so bad. I have now categorized Battlefield Ford of Culpeper in the same genre as many other northern VA used car dealers, in that they will tell you anything to get you there, regardless of the distance. I was disappointed that mentality has dropped as far South as Culpeper. I've also crossed off any dealer with Battlefield in their name from consideration as a place to look for a car. If you want a nice, what I call a 30 mph Corvette, then there's one in Culpeper. I call a 30 mph vehicle one that looks nice as you drive by at 30 mph or faster.

If I could give less than poor as a rating here I would. I recently inquired about a new vehicle at the Battlefield Culpeper dealership. I was sent information regarding my inquiry, I went to the dealership to test drive what I thought was the vehicle presented to me via e-mail. It wasnt even close, then I was told that they had the vehicle at another dealership and by the time I finished the paperwork it would be there. I filled out financing (stupid mistake in trusting them) put up the down payment this entire process took 3 hours and once money was put up I how long before it arrived, then and only then did they tell me oh we had trouble getting a hold of the dealer where it is so come back in 2 days. I immediately cancelled the sale and am still fighting with them to get my down payment back. DISHONEST SHADY DECEITFUL AND LIARS doe not start to describe this dealership.

I have purchased 2 new cars and 1 used car from this dealership. The Staff was very helpful and was very honest. The used vehicle that I purchased was a 2010 ford flex that was in great condition and drove like it was brand new. Highly recommended!

I recently bought a used car from this dealer. Huge mistake. The internet add was false and misleading, claiming there were upgrades that were fictitious. The sales man and sales manager both made materially misleading and false claims as to the condition of the vehicle. They have extremely poor lighting at the dealership, and when i got home with the car and inspected it in good lighting, it is clear that the vehicle had been in an accident/fender bender. the bumper is damaged and not hung right, and the rear quarter panel is damaged. Both the sales manager and GM told me that it is my fault. THEY LIED TO SELL A USED CAR!!!!!! do not trust them and look elsewhere. There is no reason to buy from a dealership that doesn't stand behind what they say, there are just to many other options and cars. I made a huge mistake, don't make the same one!
