This review is long over due. My family has leased 4 cars from Bay Ridge Volkswagen and are going back again to find a 5th. We first met David Gokhshtein in 2013 and he is truly a trusted businessman, and an absolute honest professional! He will work with you and never try to push you into anything that you're not comfortable with while discussing your financing. After a bit of time we met Jorge Quezada, both David and Jorge could not be more pleasant, patient and helpful. I, my son & my sister all chose the beautiful Passat. This year my husband met with Jorge and David again, and he went with the awesome Tiguan! We're going going back again to see David & Jorge this week. The VW cars are true quality, once you see how they're made, feel how they handle and drive... you will not want to compromise for anything less. I had been to a couple of other places. They were nice. They gave me popcorn. They had fancy water. They didn't know the answers to any of my questions. So by the time I walked in to Bay Ridge Volkswagen, I was filled with popcorn and out of patience. I had whittled my questions about the car I wanted down to 10. I politely talked with Jorge: he answered 7 of my questions off the top of his head, did research on two more, and got back to me with the answer to the last one (which required him calling around a lot more) the next morning. He told me what I probably didn't need and didn't try to sell me that. He actually asked me a few more questions to make certain I really needed what I asked him for. In the end, I got the car I and my family wanted for a good price with a great warranty. I wasn't out to get something for nothing, and nobody at the dealership, including the finance manager, made me feel pressured to spend a penny more than I wanted. I actually had a really good time. Is that weird? That's weird, isn't it. I'm sure that's weird. But honestly, it couldn't have been more pleasant.

The title of the review says it all. I just bought a beautiful 2015 Golf Sportswagen Turbo from this place and couldn't be happier. They were very attentive to my needs (both in terms of the vehicle itself and the financing) and obviously knew their stuff. Answered all my questions and concerns. And: I LOVE this car.Highly recommended.

I came to Bay Ridge Volkswagen interested in leasing a Tiguan. This was my first time leasing a car so I was new to everything. Jed and Jorge made everything so easy and it was a pleasure working with them! I got the car I wanted at a great deal and I left very happy! When I came to pick up my car Jorge told me everything I needed to know about it and he made himself available to contact him in the future should I ever need to. This was my third Jetta lease and it was very easy and smooth.This time Jorge led me through the process which was oh so easy and pleasant.I have had a lot of nice experiences with Bay Ridge Volkswagon over the years.They have a great service dept.I chose the 2016 Jetta 140 with technology.very good gas mileage,lots of pickup and with the tech I was able to fully incorporate my iPhone into the car system.Lastly the engineering and saftey cannot be beat anywhere else at this price point.

I went to BRVW just to browse around I met Arthur a sales rep. He was very nice although at times I felt he was dismissive with me. I'll give Arthur a pass because he is expecting his first child.The general manager needs a personality tune up, but I',m sure there will be no charge. Overall Arthur was good but David is the BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!! I wasn't sure if I qualified for a loan until I met the GREAT AND MIGHTY OZ DAVID!!!!!!!!!!I HE IS A MIRACLE WORKER and should run this country! I fell in love with him and that's probably why I bought my 2014 Tiguan and I am very happy with my purchase . David is a true professional and a great customer service representative. I encountered a little trouble with the tire pressure light and took it to the dealer 2 times to fix it. It is still on so I'm not to impressed with the service.

Buying a car is one of the most unscientific methods of dealing with commerce. You have to scrape and claw to get to a true and fair number. A method that is frankly foreign to the Us model, more appropriate to a open air market in Morocco. That being said, I went to Bay Ridge VW and dealt with a different sales person and I received the run around, telling me one number then not honoring it so on and so forth- I stormed out of there. I decide to go and shop around. After shopping around and realizing that everyone was presenting themselves in a similar fashion, now understanding that this is the norm I decided to cal Bay Ridge VW back and see what would happen if i gave them a second chance- I'm glad I did! I dealt with Jorge the second time around and he was very much appreciative of the opportunity he gave me a fair price he is no BS. I highly recommend Jorge for his professionalism and his understanding that some people just don't want to sit there and think of a car buying experience as a chore. Everything went smooth throughout the entire process, even the dreaded sit down with the financial person to sign everything- this is when they try to up sell you coverages and packages. Dealing with David was super comfortable also very patient was i was weighing my options. He did not try to sway me and was helpful on suggestions on coverages that would make sense for the type of driver I am. I would definitely recommend both Jorge and David and Bayridge VW.

With 1 month left on our Nissan lease, we began visiting several dealerships. Shawn was the only sales person who offered a test drive and he wouldn't discuss $$ until after. Shawn is professional, friendly, knowledgeable and goes above & beyond to make a deal. After several visits to his manager, the numbers worked. He has a no pressure style and we were very happy with our deal and him.

I met Jorge when i was looking at VW cars. He gave me 3 road tests on 3 different carsJorge is an excellent salesman. He was cordial, professional and not pushy at all. He is very knowledgeable and VW is very lucky to have him working for them.His future is bright and even though i didn't get a car from them this time, i will definitely go back and try them again. After a bad experience with another dealer, I walked in to Bayridge VW knowing exactly what I wanted, they understood my request and accomodated me, got me an excellent price and located the vehicle (in Germany!!!) and got it here in 5 days, 4 days ahead of schedule. Every step of the sales process was flawlessly executed, I couldn't have asked for anything more!!! Frank from Bay Ridge VW called me back in 20 minutes and was able to beat the previous deal I had from another dealership.David was very helpful when signing the paperwork and was very personable. He let me know that if there are any issues, I should not hesitate to contact him.Afterwards, I noticed a small issue with the car, and contacted David who replied within minutes. I brought the car in and the issue was fixed the same day.Overall, Bay Ridge VW is quick to get back to you, and follows up on any issues / questions that you may have. My experience at this dealership was first class. I visited many car dealerships searching for a new vehicle and leased a Jetta. All the other dealerships I visited made me feel pressured, not here. Oswald was friendly and willing to work with me. I visited this dealership 3 times, the first time we discussed what vehicle I was interested in and what my price range was, I wasn't pressured in any way, I left to go home and think about it and was never made to feel that was a problem, i returned the next day to test drive the vehicle, again I left to think about it and figure out my finances, I returned 2 days later and decided to lease the car. I ended up getting the best car of all the cars I looked at and at the best price. I would highly recommend this dealership and I would ask for ozzy, a true gentleman, who was a pleasure to deal with.

my husband and I recently financed a pre-owned Volkswagen Passat at Bay Ridge Volkswagen. We went in not knowing whether or not we wanted a used or new car. We browsed around the used lot before being approached by a salesman. We liked Jorge from the very start- little did he know he had his work cut out for him with us! He was patient and answered all of our seemingly strange questions about the cars and financing. He stood in the lot and talked to us for about 30 minutes before steering us in the right direction. I've always wanted a Volkswagen, my husband was skeptical- he was leaning towards a Japanese car. Jorge gave us a lot of points to think about. Our old car had some issues- mainly transmission and brakes- Jorge leveled with us and seemed to give us straightforward info about Volkswagen and some issues in the past. He showed us the new cars, let us look in the trunk, sit in the seats, and even demonstrated the stability of the doors. He is incredibly personable, and not overly pushy like most car salesmen are thought to be. He showed us a certified pre-owned 2014 Passat- he let us test drive it. My husband was very attached to his old Pontiac because of the comfort- Jorge bet him he would be comfortable in the Passat- and he was right. After test driving the car, we decided to finance it. Jorge explained all the warranty details, told us about all the amenities, and took his time while we filled out the paper work, He has a great sense of humor, but made us feel comfortable the whole way thru. He kept in touch with us all weekend- we made the purchase over Labor Day weekend. To be perfectly honest, we aren't sure if we would have actually bought the car if we didn't like and trust Jorge as much as we did. I've been in sales for 10 years- I'm the Director of Sales for a national sightseeing company, I've had a lot of trainings in my years, but the number 1 rule is- people buy from people they like- personality and likability are something that can't be taught, and Jorge has it. We are insanely happy with the new car, and had a great buying experience. When it came time to go thru the numbers, we met David- he too has a great personality and made us feel very comfortable- we never felt pressured to add things we didn't feel we needed. I would recommend this dealership- and especially Jorge to friends and family- probably even strangers in the street.

let me start by saying, I'm in my forties and have never bought a new car...i was very researched, and prepared for the worst, but to my utter delight i had the best experience ever. Jorge was amazing, kept me on point..was honest about everything...and his manager gave me an even better deal than i expected...right down to the financial guy who was fighting the banks on my behalf for a better finance rate, EVERYONE at this dealership was tops. They even filled my car up with gas, and let me be an excited adult, as my first car purchase was happening, and were happy for me. The art of the deal is not lost here..real people working with you. I love this dealership and everyone there...not once was i worried, these guys are awesome old school...love love love.

After test driving a VW Tiguan in the Staten Island VW dealership, I was 100% sold on the car. Done deal! It would've been an easy sale as I was prepared to put $8K - $10K down on purchase of an older (but new) 2012. Upon signing the contract I noticed they added on "sale insurance" for a few hundred dollars & said it was a mandatory fee as per Volkswagon & there was no way to delete it. I walked away absolutely disgusted.However, I still loved the Tiguan & tried the Bay Ridge, Brooklyn location where I met Jorge Quezada. The difference of sales professionalism, aggressiveness & friendliness was like night & day. I learned that I was lied to & VW does NOT require you to purchase "insurance for the sale". And I also learned (from unnamed employees there) that it's kind of a running joke that MANY of their customers come from walking away from the Staten Island dealership.Jorge was extremely patient, professional, knowledgeable, courteous & accessible as it took about 6 months to ink a deal (I delayed purchase due to an awful NYC winter). Now that I'm in my new 2014 Tiguan, I couldn't be happier with the service & deal. And I will absolutely be recommending him in particular to all of my friends & co-workers. A couple of sales guys there were typically a little too aggressive (for my taste) right off the bat, but in Jorge I found the perfect balance. I've been a professional salesman for 18 years, so I know all the tools of the trade from my own experience. And let me tell you, Jorge Quezada has "got it". Any dealership would be foolish in not doing all they could to keep him in their family.

I recently leased a new Passat SE and I just love it. I was new to the whole experience of leasing, but everything was great. The sales associate i worked with, Jorge Quezada, was terrific - professional, knowledgeable and just a pleasure to work with. He spent all the time I needed to walk me through the different models, answered all my questions and then some. And when I picked up the car, he sat in it with me and explained how the various equipment worked. Dave Gokhshtein, the finance manager, was also great. The paperwork went fairly smoothly. I was looking for a preowned vehicle and we compared options and he gave me his honest opinion. Working with Bay Ridge Volkswagen, and Jorge Quezada in particular, was a wonderful experience. I hadn't bought or leased a new car ever in my 41 years and he made the process very easy. Let me first begin by saying, I have traveled to Brooklyn to purchase a car, only for one reason. That reason is, Jed Kass. I have purchased a car from him before when he worked at another dealership. He is one of the nicest most sincere salesman that I have ever met. It was well worth the trip from Lindenhurst to deal with such an honest person who has always looked out for my best interest and always without hesitation given me a very good car at a very decent price. My previous car was a Nissan and when I found out that Jed no longer worked at Nissan and now was at Volkswagen, I knew that my next car would be a Volkswagen. It was such a pleasure to deal with him and I will recommend this dealership to all my friends if they are ever interested in purchasing a Volkswagen or Honda. It was well worth the trip!

Why did I give this dealership 5 stars across the board? Here's why. I walked in on a Tuesday afternoon and wanted to price qoute a 2014 Volkswagen CC, Julia Gokhshtein was very helpful and we quickly negotiated a very fair deal on my trade and a sweet lease on a gorgeous fortana red 2014 VW CC, She introduced me to the sales manager Jed Kass who is the friendliest sales manager I've ever dealt with, it was a breath of fresh air. I then started saying to myself well I'm not out of the woods yet, I've yet to meet the dreaded "finance manager." Lo and behold a couple of days later Julia calls me and tells me my car is ready! My wife and I get to meet the dreaded finance manager. Well to my surprise David Gokhshtein is an absolute pleasure to deal with and DID NOT try and sell us any unwanted "extras" and clearly went over every single detail of our lease agreement. We were so pleasantly surprised and can honestly say this was the first dealership where everybody was extremely welcoming. If all goes well we will be back in the summer and lease a second vehicle (VW Jetta) and rest assured, I will highly recommend this wonderful dealership to all my friends and family. This is the first VW we've leased from Bay Ridge Volkswagen and thanks to Brand Specialist Jorge Quezada we'll never lease from another dealership again! Our experience was fantastic from the moment we stepped into the dealership. Jorge clearly loves the VW product, but after hearing what our specific needs were, he scrupulously enumerated the pros and cons of each make and model based on those requirements. We never felt like we were being "sold," rather like we were getting the straight story about how well his product would suit us. We settled on a Touareg, which apparently is one tough car to get a hold of, it being in great demand. But Jorge pushed hard to get us the color we wanted, having to scour other sister dealerships to meet our preference, which took some finesse and persistence. Throughout the process he kept us fully updated, sending us emails at all hours of the day and night, and when we had a very tight turnaround on the morning we were to turn in our old leased vehicle (a Tiguan, which we LOVED) and pick up our new Touareg, he took great care to ensure that all the paperwork was completed before we stepped through the door and had us on our way in our new car in record time so we could make a family reunion at the tip of Long Island. Jorge could write the book on customer responsiveness but he was the one thanking ME for being available via phone and email, and though Jorge wouldn't admit it, David Gokhshtein, the business manager, who was also first rate, told us that at 9 p.m. the night before we picked up our Touareg, Jorge washed the car, putting the final touches on the detailing and making sure everything was beautiful. We couldn't be happier. It's so rare these days to receive customer service you want to broadcast. But nothing less than rave reviews do Jorge and David and the team at Bay Ridge Volkswagen justice.

I was looking for a new passat and was working with the dealership on Staten Island but they totally wasted my time. They called me several times to come to the dealership and promised that they would work with me regarding price. When I went in they could not help me at all and didn't even come close to the price they quoted me over the phone. I then spoke with Jorge at Bay Ridge Volkswagen who was extremely helpful and honest. He was able to help me over the phone and didn't waste my time. When I went into the dealership the price I was quoted was the same as the that we discussed on the phone. Jorge was very helpful from our first conversation to signing the deal. I also had the opportunity to work with Jed who was alps very helpful. Together both Jed and Jorge make a great team and are both a pleasure to do business with.

Returned to the Dealership after three days to test drive an EOS Sport (one of 4 EOS models). The vehicle was parked on the sidewalk with no gas. We could not test drive the car because the car was driven from Staten Island to Brooklyn and someone forgot to stop for gas. Not much attention to detail. We questioned the price of the car and Alex said that in 2014 there are now only three EOS models so they added more options and the price went up. He didn't know this 3 days ago? This was an effort to raise the price from what we were told 3 days before. We were asked if we wanted to purchase or lease. We answered purchase. Alex went on for 30 minutes about the advantages of leasing even though we told him several times that we would NOT lease. Alex did not listen to what we wanted but "pushed" what he wanted. He was rude, pushy, did not listen to our questions or concerns and was very arrogant. I don't expect you to post this review because it does not reflect well on your organization. Test drives scheduled but no gas in the car; leasing plans that we were not interested in; price increases 3 days later and an attitude that was not conducive to someone trying to sell a car. A phone call to the manager to express our concerns was never returned. What a difference between your dealership and the Honda dealership across the street. We bought a car from Bay Ridge Honda last year -- what a positive experience. Frank our salesperson was a true professional. Bay Ridge Volkswagen should take some lessons from their neighbors across the street on customer service!

My husband and I bought a used 2006 BMW X3 with 115K miles last Saturday. The overall experience BUYING the car was great but it's what's transpired since that is deeply concerning. We were told by both Ahmed and David that the car was in great condition and the Car Fax seemed to support that. David went so far as to tell us he knew the previous owner and said they'd taken exceptional care of it (used synthetic oil, took it for changes regularly...). During our test drive we smelled a burning smell coming out of the vents. My husband made it clear we would not buy the car until that was resolved. Ahmed had the service team look at the car and hours later we got confirmation that there had been a bag stuck in the vent.When we left the dealership, as Jon backed the car out, there was very loud squeaking from the tires. We chalked it up to the cold. About 2 days later Jon noticed 3 lights go on: check engine, the temperature and the oil. We got suspicious as the car fax read the car had recently been in for a tune up. We also noticed the car would shake when it was in park (we actually noticed this the first day after we bought it). 6 days in after buying the car, Jon was driving and the car began to smoke and shake. The entire area under the hood was filled with smoke and the burning smell was back. He took it to the dealership and Ahmed told him to take it to The BMW Service center. He also said he could have a loaner if need be.Jon took the car to the service center today and was told the car is in very poor condition and that it should never have been sold. There's a leak in the coolant line that's leaked into the oil which has caused a severe sludge build up. Apparently synthetic oil was NOT being used. We need a new head gasket and may even need a new engine, depending on the damage. And, the back brake pads are nearly worn out.After owning this car for a mere 7 days, this is ridiculous. Jon took the car back to the dealership and explained what he was told. He was sent to their mechanic who wasn't in. He was asked to leave the car so the mechanic can look at it on Monday. And while he was told he could have a loaner the day before, today he was told he wouldn't get one until Monday and that's not an absolute guarantee.So now we're without a car at all and, quite frankly we have little confidence this dealership will be honest and fair with anything moving forward. We will have to wait until Monday to see. In our minds, we want the truth. If the car is a lemon then we deserve a replacement or a refund and absolutely no xxxxxxxx. We paid $15K CASH for this car (including extended warranty). We were sold a car that clearly has problems and was not sold under honest pretenses. What's truly disappointing is that the guys were wonderful and so hands on. Hopefully this will be resolved in our favor and we can move on.

I had a very positive experience with Bay Ridge Volkswagen. I worked with Jorge Quezada. He is a super, super nice man. He is very professional, articulate, helpful, and really knows the cars. From the first time I stepped into the dealership, I knew I wanted to give him the sale. I've been searcing for a car for several months and never had I recieved such great customer service. Being a young woman of African American descent, I've gone to several dealers where I was ignored just coming in or not really given the time of day because I was perceived as not having money or not being serious about buying a car. But not Jorge. From the first day I walked in, he welcomed me right off the bat. He took the time to show me the car I was interested in, explain its features, show me how to use them, and answer my questions. Because I've been looking at the Jetta for a while and done a good amount of research on it I had a good amount of knowledge on the car, so some of the questions I asked were to test if he really knew what he was talking about. And he passed with flying colors! I could tell he knew the car like the back of his hand and gave me some good advice on it.Also, Jorge was not pushy at all, which I appreciated more than anything. I've gone to some dealers where the salesmen were very aggressive and pressuring me to buy on the spot or calling me non-stop afterward. Instead, Jorge simply gave me his card and encouraged me to contact him if I had any questions. And I did several times. I felt like he was genuinely concerned with me being happy with the car and getting what I want as opposed to just looking at me as a sale. He really fought for me to get the best price possible for the car. For this reason, I highly recommend Bay Ridge Volkswagen for your next Volkswagen purchase and working with Jorge Quezada.

His patience was exemplary as I took about a week to decide. He took the time to understand my particular circumstances and provide me with a car custom tailored to my needs (Volkswagen Golf). Upon walking into the Bay Ridge Volkswagen Dealership I thought my experience would be like any other. However, Jorge changed that perception immediately. He was forthcoming, honest, accommodating and understanding of my reasons for purchasing a new Passat. After going over all the particulars I was waiting to be priced out of financial means but Jorge didnt let me down. He truly took the time to go over multiple options that would suit my budget and never once seemed bothered by my circumstances. The end result I am a proud owner of a 2013 Passat TDI SEL edition. After working with Jorge, I was transferred to David to close out the deal and finalize the paperwork. Again I wasnt let down. David was honest, knowledgeable and clearly explained all the viable options needed towards servicing my vehicle and adding an extended warranty. In the end he didnt not push anything unnecessary and guided me towards the best plan suited for me; incidentally it was also the cheapest! When I arrived to the dealer with my wife, my heart said GTI Wolfsburg, and my wife hearts was saying Jetta. It was an intense discussion and she was winning the argument. Until Tarana came to the rescue and made a suggestion that was the perfect solution. She suggested instead of the GTI get the Jetta GLI it has the same power and performance level as the GTI for you, and for your wife, she will have the sedan she wants. I was sold on the idea immediately; I didnt realize that VW was so diversified with their products. David, was understanding, knowledgeable, and is a skillful business manager. My girlfriend and I were looking at a small sedan for work trips and the occasional weekend getaway. We spoke with a few dealers, including Honda, Hyundai, and Toyota. Our experiences at other dealers were less than pleasurable and we were really not enjoying the process.Our plan was to go to a few dealerships on a Sunday, with Volkswagen being our first stop. Everyone at Bay Ridge Volkswagen was extremely helpful and friendly. The sales team was very laid-back and we felt absolutely no pressure to purchase during our first visit (though, we did wind up signing the same day). Mr. Quezada spent almost two hours with us showing us new and used Jettas, going over different options from leasing to buying. He had no problem giving us prices and running numbers for us right there, without demanding a credit check or a deposit. We felt the team was very fair and honest and were very comfortable. There were no surprises at all from the time we sat with our sales person through the signing with the finance manager. We never made it to another dealership because there was no need.Ultimately we leased a 2013 Jetta SE with the convenience package at a very affordable price.

I bought the 2012 Jetta to this dealship, (not the one I brought it from) one night because it had stalled and recieved grade A+ treatment from Mr. Nelson Morales which included follow-up calls. My car ran beautifully. Just before this I had gotten a card annoucing car exchange program with this dealership which I threw aside because at this point after dealing with Atlantic VW on Sunrise Hwy in LI I wanted NOTHING to do with VW sales people. Atlantic (where I bought the Jetta), made me feel violated as a single latina woman when I went to see about getting the new VW hybrid- loved the product, hated salespeople who did not want my business. Mr. Morales changed my mind, so I gave VW one more chance I was going to go to Toyota so I wouldn't have to deal with anyone in VW world. And am I glad I did! Mr. Gokhstein treated me like VW family from the moment I came in, followed by a very personable Mr Quezada. The following week 4-20-13, when I came in to sign for my new 2013 Jetta, they were the same professional, delightful people. What a concept -car dealers who keep their word and honor their product and company. I drove away in my 2013 Jetta SE without a sick feeling. I was looking to trade in my Toyota hybrid for a VW diesel. The dealership welcomed my trade - in, and made a very reasonable offer for it - good enough that I didn't even try to bargain. I was able to test drive a car almost identical to the one I eventually purchased. Everyone I met treated me well - no pressure, no pushy attitude. I haven't been to the service department yet - that's why I marked "N/A" for quality of work. But even now, I would gladly recommend this dealership to anyone who is considering buying a VW.

I went to the dealership with a list of their inventory and the car I wanted as well as the TrueCar value of the car. I was willing to pay the exact price listed on TrueCar and I had agreed to the pricing with a salesperson. I wanted to know what my final monthly payment would be and they wouldn't tell me. I asked what my interest rate would be on the finance of the vehicle and they told me they would tell me when i came to pick up the vehicle. I almost signed the purchase agreement but something felt very fishy so I asked to speak to the finance manager before I signed everything. The finance manager, DAVID, came over with a very bad attitude saying irrelevant stuff about federal laws how its illegal for them to tell me the finance rate. I tried to explain to him that I would need some sort of idea what my monthly payment will be before I buy the car but he kept getting louder and louder and starting yelling about how we don't trust them and we should trust the dealership on the rate. He proceeded to walk around the dealership waving his hands in the air like a monkey. So I left and went to the Coney Island VW on 2448 Coney Island avenue. They were very respectful and gave me the finance rate and monthly payment right away. I was able to purchase the vehicle within an hour and the finance manager, Conrad, and Lala, the salesperson, were very helpful in the process. They even gave me an additional VW loyalty savings of $500 which Bay ridge wasn't even willing to consider. I still cannot believe how a finance manager at a dealership can snap at customers the way he did. I would not recommend anyone going to this dealership because they are very greedy and disrespectful. I also read the previous reviews on him and it almost sounds like he would make them himself or have his salesmen or women complete reviews on the website.

There was no gamesmanship and we left with a beautiful new car and a satisfying shopping experience. We leased our car from Zee Kolari, who worked with us on two different visits and patiently talked us through our different options without trying to up-sell. She was unavailable on the day of pick-up, so Jorge Quezada stepped in and was similarly helpful and pleasant to deal with. David Gokhshtein talked us through the fine print on the paperwork and offered valuable advice, without being pushy. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience.

We purchased a 2013 Passat TDI which is an amazing car from Bay Ridge VW. Kimani worked very hard to find our car in the dark silver color we wanted (which was tough because they're limited production), and his salesman Kevin's product knowledge helped us learn about this car in the first place. Jorge did a great job showing us how to use the media features. They honored the employee price from the place I work, and David sold us a tire protection plan at a fair price which gave us peace of mind, especially when we went over a monster pothole on the LIE later that week. Taken together, this really makes Bay Ridge VW stand out from other dealers in the area.

I went in to this dealership to trade in a Hyundai leased Sonata. I purchased a 2013 Jetta. Given the fact that contacting Hyundai's customer service was extremely difficult and trying, Kimani dealt with Hyundai firsthand and took care of everything from there -- from the buyout to actually transferring my plates, registration, etc. David and I worked out a great deal where my vehicle is covered for 7 years. I test drove my Jetta with Andrew and he is extremely knowledgeable about the car and answered all of my questions. After purchasing my vehicle, I received follow-up calls regarding my feelings about the purchase. Overall, I would definitely recommend this dealership.

It was my first experience leasing a new car and it was a pleasant one. I would recommend that anyone who is looking to buy or lease a car go through Bay Ridge Volskwagen because they were very kind, not pushy and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. They were great at meeting my needs. Andrew Ufnal answered all of my questions and was very knowledgeable about the VW Beetle as well as the other cars on the lot. He was very nice and open to hearing what I had to say. He showed me how to operate the car before I left the lot. Andrew always answered my emails and got back to me in a timely manner. The dealership as a whole is run great by people such as Kimani, Andrew and David who care about getting the people who come to their lot a car they like and can afford.

Jorge Quezada is the best of salesmen of four dealers in the area. He is no-nonsense and knows the pruduct for sale. Once the car I wanted was found in stock, the process was quick and painless. Major and obvious problems were misdiagnosed. Paid for diagnostic workup which was incorporated into final repair charge, as agreed. Would not have gone ahead with expensive repairs had diagnosis been inclusive and accurate. A lot of money down the drain for naught. They need to clean up their act.

We were looking for a replacement for our 25 year old Honda Civic Wagon. Honda does not make a comparable car today. Our Civic Wagon was roomy, got great mileage and had great visibility. The car was very reliable and low maintenance. The VW Jetta Sportwagen was the best alternative to replace our car.Bay Ridge VW and Kevin Peshkin in particular could not have been more friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Kevin and the entire team. Made buying a car a very pleasant experience. Kevin took the time to make sure we got the car that we wanted and that we knew how to use the many functions, e.g. how to set up the bluetooth option to work our cell phone through the car system. David Gokhshtein explained the financing and warranty options, making them easy to understand, and was helpful in making sure the paperwork was done properly.

This dealership handles business terribly. They are so worried about making a sale that they make careless mistakes which costs the customer thousands of dollars. The day I was scheduled to pick up the car i was the one that figured out that they gave me the wrong carfax. This meant that they certified and prepared the wrong car. The financing was done for the wrong car. Everything had to be done over again and my monthly payments and the cost of the car I really wanted increased. The dealer I was working with was hard to contact and always in a rush. She was very forgetfull. I had to go back to the dealer 3 times for them to fix a dent and to detail the car the way it was suppose to be before it was sold. I agreed to give them an extra day to prepare the car and they insisted that I drive it home that night. The back and forth drive to the dealership to get everything fixed cost me a lot of time and money. Knowing that all of this headache and confusion was happening, the manager of the dealership never came over to speak to me or apologize; even when he was walking right past me. I was promised an extended warranty for all of the trouble with pricing the vehicle and the increase in my monthly payments by David but never saw it in writing once the paperwork was complete.

The dealership has no value for custpmer time. They are not accurate about the timing. They were not transparent about the warranty money either. once you buy the vehicle from this dealrship no one has time to answer your question. Especially David is just a sweet talker. He does not keep his promises and never even return your call , if you have a specific question about your recent purchase. I would not recommend this dealrship to anyone.

Jorge was very professional and friendly from the second we entered the dealership. We told him what we were looking for, and he gave us several options right away. He even gave us a website to check out for certified pre-owned cars on their way from the manufacturer that hadn't arrived at the dealer yet to see if we would be interested in any of those cars. He kept in touch with us throughout the process and even sent me a text message picture of my car cleaned and ready to be picked up. He went over all the features of the car with us- even though it was pouring rain to get to get to the car! I would highly recommend this dealership and Jorge in particular.

I have visited 6 different car dealers before I found this one and I got to tell you, I am glad I found them! None of the other dealers cared if I buy a car or not. They seemed like, they didn't care. I just dont get that. Anyways. I walked in to Bay ridge Volkswagen and I felt welcomed. I dealt with Jorge. He was very nice, knowledgeable,professional and HONEST! After the back and forth negotiation, I have decided to lease a brand new CC. ( you got me Jorge :)) It is beautiful. Paper work was easy. David walked me through the details, signed and done! BUT there was a little problem with the car (blamed the factory of course, sometimes it happens). Put the car in the service ( also very nice people) they told me it would be a day or two. I told this to David. You know what he did? He got me a new CC. Same one. Same deal. He didn't have to do that but he wanted to and I am really happy with the outcome. I have dealt with many dealers before, some good some not so good and my experience at Bay Ridge VW was a good one to say the least. The sales person I worked with was Zee and she was fun to work with. She is young, full of energy, very knowledgeable, and most importantly she is straight to the point. I went in to buy out my cousins lease on a 2010 jetta and Zee helped me out with the procees. Zee is not like your average sales person that would talk your ear off and not listen to what you have to say. Zee listened to my needs and was straight up. She told me this is what we can offer and worked with me. She made sure that I felt comfortable througout the process. I never once felt pressured or like I was begin taken advantage of.I also worked with David the finance manager at VW and to my surprise he was also a pleasure to work with. I say this because in my experience the finance managers are the ones that you have to be careful with but with David it was straight to the point. I looked over my paper work with a fine tooth comb and everything was straight and clear. He was a cool guy to talk to and understood the process well.I would recommend going with Bay Ridge VW for your next car, more specifically I recommend working with Zee and David. They are not there to sell you a car they are there to help you buy a car. And if you have ever dealt with car dealers you know there is a difference.

I was not pressured to make a purchase. I asked for a particular color and she told me I will look at other dealerships to try and find that color.She was true to her word and found the color I wanted. The office is clean, bright and neat. Wifi is available for customers. Five Japanese car dealersthat I visited to compete don't have it. At Bay Ridge Nissan, even their desktop computers were sensored. I couldn't watch other Nissan dealers' website nor Edmunds.com nor Yahoo Autos. I couldn't show the best price to a salesperson around New York.Third, Arthur gave me a long test drive on Highway for two different types of car which Bay Ridge Nissan prohibits. They gave me two rounds of a block. What do I know about only 2 minutes?Another, Carlos of Route 22 Nissan gave me a test drive to the road which police officers hide to catch for speedeven there is Route 22.He said, "Don't gas pedal lot 'cause police are here and there." Actually, I met two police cars beside the road. Ridiculous.Especially, at those three Nissan dealers around New York, I felt as if I was shopping at China town market. In other word, RUDE.I was astonished because it has never happened in my country.At Bay Ridge Volkswagen, I could say, It feels like shopping at Saks Fifth Avenue or maybe fancier. I mean polite. They don't give me pressure while other dealers were aggressive. Honestly, Nissan, Toyota and Subaru gave same price range of Volkswagen Jetta.Then, I picked up Jetta. Of course, the car is excellent. I don't see only that but quality of dealership as human, too.

I was interested in a Passat SE with sunroof package when I came to the dealership. Zee was very helpful and this was the first vw dealership I went to. She has worked to get a good deal on the car knowing that two other people I know have paid more than i have paid for the lease somewhere else. Took a couple days to get the car but worth it.

This is my first experience with Bay Ridge VW. I stopped into the dealer one late afternoon to test drive a Tiguan. Jorge was very pleasant and took me right out on a test drive. He knew the car very well and drove for 30 min or so. It was a very though test drive. Feeling the handling of the car and features. My wife and I test drove a few other crossovers, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, Mazda, then lastly she drove the Tiguan with sales person Diana. My wife right away loved the way it drove.... its a different class of vehicle.I sold my 2003 VW Gti privately and called Jorge about the purchase. We where looking for particular options & color. Jorge found the car for us. Took about a week and a half to actually get the vehicle ... a bit longer then expected since we sold our car on top ofmy wife and I are expecting our first child within days.Jorge and the manager worked with me on price. Jorge was very through with all the details on the Tiguan. We have the car about 2 weeks and really love it!!It was a pleasant experience working with the people of Bay Ridge VW and would purchase again. I was reffered to Zee Kolari from a friend who leased a 2012 Passat from her. I was on the phone with her while I was sitting at a VW dealer in NJ. Her boldness on the phone actually made me get up and leave to bring my business to Bayridge VW and im happy i did. I never met such a young lady selling cars and work a deal the way she did ours, not to mention very pretty!! They didnt have what i wanted in stock but she put the effort to show me another passat i fell in love with and purchased. Zee and David the finance manager were very informative on the banking information! This was my 12th car ive bought and never dealt with a saleswoman who knew how to do her job in full!!!! We started off at the Honda Dealership in Bay Ridge but I didn't like the blatant nonsense I was told. ( Oh, that brilliantly priced CVR was just,just sold....to a teacher.....with prefect credit!) Luckily a friend of mine bought a Honda through the Volkswagen dealership situated is next door. Unbeknownst to me they may sell each others used cars. He introduced me to Zee Kolari and I was impressed as she is straight forward and closes the deal without any drama. You don't walk away feeling abused or taken for a ride.

I had a very good experience at the Bay Ridge VW dealership! I was on the market to lease a new Passat SE and spent a few days doing my research online. Rico and myself exchanged a bunch of emails and basically worked out a deal through email, so when I finally made it into the dealership, everything was ready for us. Jorge was helping us while we were at the dealership. He had all the details of our transaction and everytrhing went smoothly and with no unpleasant surprises. Jorge was very helpful in explaining all the features that my new car has to offer.

If you're looking for a dealership to value you as a customer then Bay Ridge Volkswagen in Bklyn is the place to go. From the very start of our adventure looking to lease a Jetta car, we were lucky to be greeted by this marvelous salesperson-Diana Hedin. She made sure to get us the most for our money while staying within our budget. She is very pleasant, knowledgeable and patient. She made sure to answer all our questions and gives us details we had not thought about. " Did I mention she was patient".We went in with the intention of purchasing a Jetta but after hearing all the wonderful aspects the Passat had to offer we were convince to buy the Passat. Then came the dilemma of choosing a color. We went back and forth between colors until we finally decide on white. All the while Diana was still smiling and patiently assuring us that it was okay to take our time and decide color. We agree on white, left a deposit and made an appointment to finance within 2 days. We went home and next day called Diana asked for a new deal for a Jetta with more bells and whistles; since, after really thinking it over the Passat wasn't realistic for us. Well, Diana worked her magic and was able to offer us what we wanted for the same monthly price for our budget.I can't stress enough how pleased we were to be able to drive out the lot with brand new sunroof car, more features than what we thought our budget would buy, and my husband smiling cheek to cheek.If you want satisfaction from getting the best deal, speak to Diana Hedin and the team-Max and David!!!!!!

I had never bought a new car before and I was very anxious about doing it. Mr.Andrew Ufnal greatly diminished my anxiety by his warm, straight forward and humorous approach with me. He had a vast knowledge of the different models and option packages of V.W.'s and he patiently explained them to me. He was not pushy,aggressive or demanding in any way. Instead, I felt he was truely interested in helping me get the right car for my lifestyle and needs. He was very organized. He communicated with me by phone and e-mail as the process unfolded. He made time to sit and talk with me when I dropped in at the dealship to see how things were going. He spent over two hours with me when I picked the car up, explaining the amazing features of my Jetta Sportswagen SE model. He offered to help me learn more about my new car even after I drove it off the lot. He was absolutely super from start to finish and I highly reccomend to anyone looking for a VW to hook up with this professional VW guy and he will take care of you! No kidding, he was fantastic. Purchasing a car can be a stressful situation especially when you have had a previous negative experience at a different dealer. I was very happy with my purchase and I attribute that to Zee Kolari. Not only did she listen to what my needs where, she was attentive to my son when we first visited (big points there) and she did not BS me at any time. She knew that I was going to buy a car and she made sure that I got what I wanted and worked on the price so it could fit my budget. If you know what you are looking for, I highly recommend asking for Zee for a quick and painless transaction.

I was extremely impressed with the friendly no pressure atmosphere and the professionalism of the entire staff. Jorge was very personable, patient and knowledgeable about the entire product line. The manager was very gracious and accommodating, he even personally thanked me for my purchase. The finance manager was also very easy to deal with. Andrew was the nicest, sweetest and very patient for the purchase of our touareg. He took his time and went through everything with us on more than one occasion. He was very easy to talk to and easy to get in contact with once the deal was done. The Business/Finance manager, David Gokhshtein was also very helpful and patient especially with the extended warranty and other options to the car. I walked into Bay Ridge VW for the very first time but felt like i had been there before. I was greeted by Diana Hedin and felt very comfortable as if she were family! I saw the 2012 jetta in the showroom and it was the exact car i was shopping for. Diana immediately secured the car for me and had made an appointment to see David for financing. They both were very professional and at the same time very warm & friendly. They really went out of their way to secure the exact car I wanted, which wasat another dealership. Then, to top it off, the manager (Jeff), who resides near the other dealership, actually drove the car to his dealership so I couldhave it ASAP. Car was detailed to perfection and everything concerning its operation was fully covered by Diana in the way she patiently explained thingsto me, never rushing and making sure I had no other questions. Since I had already purchased VW Monster Mats 'on line' while waiting for delivery, Daveand Jeff were kind enough to see that I was refunded what I paid for them sincethe car I was getting already had them. Received a 'follow up' call from Dianato make sure everything was going well with the car and I must commend her andthe others for truly showing they care deeply about satisfying their customer.

I went to Bay Ridge VW to purchase a 2012 Passat SEL Premium. Overall it was a good experience, the only thing I didn't care about was I had to wait to get my car once I purchased it. They didn't have the car prepped before I got there and we spent over an hour waiting for it. Otherwise, it went pretty well. The negotiation for the price was easy since I got other prices and they beat all the other competitors prices + my trade in. Once we agreed to the price they had to locate the car which only took a few days and in 1 week I was driving my car home. The employees at Bay Ridge VW are very nice and they definitely all tried to assist 1 way or another. In all the vehicles I owned, the finance manager at VW was the only one that was truly honest with us and he didn't try and sell us unwanted stuff (e.g. undercarriage spray, expensive extended warranty etc). He showed us exactly what we would pay and even tried to get us a better rate. This is my first VW, so I am curious to see how the service department is, but I have owned Volvo's and they are the same owners in Brooklyn, so I know the experience should be great. Once again, I was very happy with the service and professionalism with the staff at Bay Ridge and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a VW.

The minute I stepped foot into the dealership all the employees acted nothing but professional and respectful. Personally I dread having to go get a new lease, but one of the employees named Arthur made my experience very quick & hassle free. We were able to negotiate a reasonable price and regardless of my attempts to make him knock off a little bit off the total, he had nothing but a smile on his through out the entire process. Due to my fabulous experience, I referred all my friends to Arthur & hopefully any reader of my comment.

Came to this dealership and the sales rep as a referral. Was very serious about purchasing a 2012 GTI. contacted the sales rep several times. The sales rep also had very vague knowledge of the brand. I wanted the sunroof nav package that came with certain lights, and he argued that the package i wanted didnt include those lights. i had to show him the brochure to shut him up. and all he could reply was oh man i didnt know! how can you not know? you're selling this brand!! unbelievable!!! anyway, after several calls, He promised he'd get back to me with a quote.... 3 days passed and nothing. I called again, he said he'd call me monday. Monday rolls around.. nothing.. i call him back and he forgets the specs i ask about and still doesnt have a quote for me. Says to call him back the following morning. I call him back in the morning and dealership says he's not even at work!!! what kind of customer service is this? did he not want to make money??? needless to say i went elsewhere and made my purchase. They are inconsiderate, have zero knowledge of their own brand and are lazy! worst experience ever!

I went here to lease a new Jetta; I came into this dealership with a quote I received from a leasing company and asked if they can do any better, the said they could match my quote and at that point it sounded good to me as I would rather work with an actual dealership than a leasing company (which is technically a broker). At the beginning of the convo I told them I got a quote for 180 a month ( which they said they could beat), I told them I would want to test drive the car before moving forward, since I have never drove any Volkswagen in my life they initially agreed. The convo quickly turned into we can do 189 a month and the manager started refusing the test drive saying you are going to test drive the car and get is somewhere else I told him the quote I got was for 180 not 189, he said well I heard 189; I dont want to play these games. The manager of this facility was giving my spouse and I tons of attitude and we left. I leased a Jetta from a dealer right next to my apt in Queens with non of this typical salesman garbage, got a test drive THEN talked about price and did the paperwork. Stay away from this dealer
