Fantastic first visit to Bayside Toyota yesterday! I took my Tundra in for a 35K service and it was a great experience. I worked with Paul who kept me informed on the progress, and then sent me a visual report of the truck inspection for my records. The best part is that there was no upselling. I used to take my truck to another dealership in the area before I moved to Calvert County and they were big on up selling: throttle body clean, fuel induction, cabin filter change, you name it. Yesterday I thankfully experienced none of that craziness.

Started my vehicle search unsure of what exactly I wanted. Had the pleasure of having Corey Robertson help me narrow it down by showing me multiple cars that were in my price range. Each one I drove Corey gave me a tour throughout the car, explained all the features, and gave me in detail answers to all questions I had. After we had it narrowed down to a couple cars, Corey went over the different options I had as far as financing, manufacture warranties that still existed on the car, explained in detail the carfax, ect. He then worked with Sean (manager) to get me the best deal I could get. Josh in financing went over all the final numbers and answered all questions I had! Overall the buying experience was the most relaxed, stress free car purchase anyone could ask for. I highly recommend Corey and purchases from Bayside Auto Group. The Service Rep, Paul Hanna, is especially high quality. When I decided to buy a new car, Bayside was my first stop and there my search was completed. I bought a 2016 Highlander. The purchase experience was pleasant, the process was straight forward, and the sales consultant, Sean Mason, was a joy to work with. Sean is knowledgeable about the car, extremely patient and thorough in explaining car features, and very flexible in setting up appointments. Had a good experience with buying my Camry, even though that particular day they were short staffed and very busy. The manager was apologetic and the salesperson, Lisa, did a great job. When the finance manager was able to get to us, he was extremely quick and efficient. I subsequently brought my vehicle in for service and again for a car Wash, and the service staff is amazing. Attentive and very efficient! Would recommend this dealership to anyone I know!

Al, Chris, Hank and Mike were great! We went to them with VERY specific requirements for the vehicle we wanted, 2016-2017 Tacoma, V-6, Cruise, Air (easy stuff), not white, blue, or black, Access Cab, and manual transmission (harder stuff). They did express the difficulties in finding something so specific (I totally get the desire to sell a vehicle on the lot!), but did not continue trying to pressure us once they understood they were non-negotiable on these.Within 2 days they had found what we wanted and it driven down from a dealership in Pennsylvania. We picked it up 1 hour after it arrived and it looked in NO way like it had just been driven 150 miles! I don't remember the finance guy's name, it was literally his first day in that position, and his first transaction! So that said it took a few minutes longer than it probably normally would have, but he was a great dude and fun to talk to, so who cares.I'm not sure how the commissions are structured, but we were essentially taken care of 4 different guys with the same level of customer care as if each were our primary salesmen!Went back to get the EZPass transponder forgot in our trade-in a few days later and were treated like rockstars! Plus got just enough follow up calls making sure everything was good to go the following week. Great group of folks, will definitely be using them for our needs in the future!!

I bought a 2016 Tundra SR5 . Its was missing parts .Why put it on the lot if its not ready ?. 2 weeks have gone by and i have to be the one to push the issue. Also Dealer owes me a bed liner know record if that. I payed CASH for the truck and not to happy about the service i,m getting. The only one how is going out if his way is Randy Flowers. I should be enjoying my new Tundra not running back and forth to the dealer.

We knew we wanted another Toyota--already have a 2005 RAV 4 and 2015 Prius C--but couldn't afford a new RAV 4 at this time. There were several pre-owned RAV 4's on the lot to compare. Within a few minutes, we were test-driving a car. He was patient with us while we compared and contrasted the cars before making up our minds. There was no pressure to purchase a car that day. Steven was able to offer us a deal we could afford, while the manager found us the best financing available. We enjoyed talking with Steven while waiting for the financing offers and car detailing. It turned out to be well worth the drive to check it out; Steve Johnson (salesman) met us at the door, located the car, and led us through the process of evaluating and purchasing. Was greeted as soon as I walked thru the door. I immediately saw the General Manager Mike Wang, who talked with us and then handed us off to a super great salesman Hewston Rodney. I explained what I was looking for and they showed me the car that matched what I wanted. They went over all the details explaining the financing, what they were giving me for my 2015 RAV 4 and what the final amount would be. Once all the paper work was done, they explained all the car functions, and if I didn't understand something went over it for me. They programmed my iphone for me and were just super friendly and professional the whole time. I would definitely go there for any future cars. I test drove a Rav 4 in Silver Spring and was quoted a price. I took that price to shop around at under dealers and most wouldn't give me a price over email but Corey at Bayside did - his quote happened to be the lowest. I agreed and set up a time to come in to sign the papers. I was able to apply for financing on line so when I arrived, I just had to provide some signatures and was ready to go. We were out the door with our new car in less than an hour. It was definitely worth the extra driving time to get to the dealership. I'll be recommending Corey at Bayside to others in the future.

I recently purchased a 2016 Toyota Sienna from Bayside. When I went to the dealership I knew what vehicle I wanted and I was trading in a 2013 Dodge van. The price of the new vehicle was very reasonable but I did negotiate and obtained an increase in the trade-in allowance over their initial offer. Once we agreed on the price Bayside was able to obtain the exact vehicle in color I wanted within a couple hours and I was able to drive the new van home that evening. The staff at Bayside was very knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions. I was a pleasure to work with the sales staff involved with the purchase, Sean Mason and Mike Wang.I will certainly put Bayside at the top of my list when I make my next vehicle purchase.

Debbie Foster made my dreaded experience buying a used car a very productive and pleasant one. In addition, I have had my "new" Prius for about three weeks and am enjoying it. It looks very much like a new car thanks to the efforts of Debbie Foster and the rest of the staff. ( It came in from another dealership with some "scars" but they were taken care of immediately.)The previous owner had been a smoker and I am allergic to smoke. It took some effort, but Debbie and her colleagues ridded the car of what seemed like deep-seated cigarette smoke. The staff seemed to work like a team with my interests at heart. I have been to other dealerships where there was teamwork, but not working for me, rather themselves. Debbie Foster and the staff of the Bayside Auto Group did a great job!

Debbie recently helped us purchase a 2013 Prius C with many stipulations and constraints. She was extremely knowledgeable on our options, receptive to our needs, and a pleasure to work with. To say she was committed (but not at all pushy or cunning, unlike other salesmen) to finding us the right car for the right price would be an understatement. Absolutely the Best Dealership to Work With Hands Down! The Sales Representative was Rob Howard and his Managers were Jeff Jacobs and Mike Austin at Bayside Toyota in Prince Frederick, MD. Could not have asked for anyone better to help me with my vehicle purchase! I bought a used 2013 Toyota Tacoma 4x4. Mr. Rob Howard was very helpful, courteous, and professional. My overall experience with Bayside Toyota in Prince Frederick, MD was 100% Positive, which made it well worth the road trip! I drove 7 hours up from Tennessee to take delivery on the Tacoma 4x4. Last year I purchased a 2015 Prius C from Debbie Foster over at Bayside Toyota. The car was a vehicle for my girlfriend who had just moved in with me and needed a new vehicle. I had never purchased a new car before in my life having always gotten used ones instead. I went to Bayside and Debbie was the first one to help us. She listened to our needs and how we would be driving the car pretty regularly and over fairly long distances. I knew I was interested in a hybrid and Debbie showed us several vehicles. She made me feel comfortable the entire time and was not pushy at all. I told her that I was just looking around that first day and that I wasn't going to buy right away. After narrowing down that we were going to get a Prius we actually left Bayside and visited two other Toyota dealerships in the area to look at their selection and prices. In the end we returned to Debbie at Bayside due to the great relationship we had forged with her and the competitively priced vehicles at Bayside. Fast forward a year. The old, used vehicle that I have been driving for years finally reached its end. I was not really prepared, financially, to shell out a lot of money for another car. My first call was to Debbie Foster over at Bayside. She had actually made the switch over to used cars at the dealership and I made an appointment to see her. She showed me many wonderful used cars that fell into my budget. After crunching the numbers, however, I decided that with the special financing available I could afford to get another new hybrid car with payments near the same level as if I went with a good used car. Debbie quickly adapted and set me up with my own Prius with great financing.Though I do not expect to get another car for some time considering the reliability of Toyotas, when I finally do get another car, I know I'll be heading back to Bayside Toyota and asking for Debbie Foster.

Bayside toyota is a newly renovated dealership with staff that go the extra mile. I went to Bayside to look at a black 2016 Toyota Camry XSE. I currently had a 2014 Toyota Camry, so I didn't necessarily need a new car but I fell in love with this car. It is sporty, black, fully loaded and simply beautiful (if a car could be beautiful). Lisa Novander was my sales rep. She is down to earth, energetic, friendly, knowledgeable/helful and professional and didnt pressure me. Mike Wang is the sales manager (I think) and he was very helpful in explaining everything in detail and answering all of my questions. Mike worked very hard to get the price where I needed it to be to make the purchase. He is friendly, easy to talk to and professional. Josh was my finance rep and he made that part painless. Josh is fast, sufficient, friendly and professional. I'm giving this dealership and all the staff members I worked with a 5 star review. They have fantastic customer service and make buying a car painless. Great job to all, I couldn't be happier with my new car. I will definitely recommend Bayside Toyota! All I can say is "wow!" When my wife and I went to shop for a new car we brought our 3 kiddos along on our "car-buying adventure" (which is what we told them it was to make it sound more exciting...I'm sure other parents can relate). Without going into too many details, it was certainly a challenge to have all 3 of them there with us. However, Steve Johnson was INCREDIBLY patient with us and made our whole family feel welcome the entire time (even during the occasional temper tantrum from my 2 year old). Steve was very helpful with getting us the car we wanted for the price we wanted. In fact, he was actually able to get us an even better car for our budget then we had expected! Our overall experience with Bayside and Steve Johnson was overwhelmingly positive and I would HIGHLY recommend the dealership and Steve to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle...especially if you have little ones in tow :-)

I would give 10 stars if I could. First time buyer of a toyota and the salesman ( mark stern ) was knowledgeable and very helpful.. absolutely no pressure in finding a vehicle unlike other dealerships. Mark worked with me and my daughter to find her the perfect car and not go over our budget...in my 25 years of buying cars this was the first dealership that actually treats customers like close friends. Felt appreciated and not like a my purchase didn't matter. Went into look for used replacement for our commuter car that was totaled week before. They steered us toward the new cars, and I was skeptical at first. On January 2, 2016 I drove 4 hours to purchase a new 2016 Tacoma TRD Sport Access Cab 2 wheel drive from Bayside. I searched extensively from Chesapeake VA throughout the entire Southeast Toyota region for this vehicle with no success. I turned my search north and found it at Bayside Toyota in Prince Frederick MD. My experiences with Kerry, the internet contact, Mike, the Manager, Sean, the salesman, and Josh, in finance, were all fantastic. They offered a discount on their web site that was better than my 4 local Toyota dealers. Most importantly I found the truck I really wanted months sooner than I could get one locally. A nice fringe benefit was the beautiful country ride between Richmond and Prince Frederick that crossed 3 rivers. Each person I dealt with has reached out to offer any assistance with my new Toyota experience. Sean was especially helpful with the final sale and helping me sync my phone and setup the NAV for my trip back home. I would strongly recommend making the drive for a rewarding experience. Over the rivers and through the woods.

My wife and I entered the dealership parking lot just to look at what was offered. My wife wanted a used SUV but I wanted a newer vehicle that was going to provide real good gas mileage. Royston met us outside, introduced himself and asked us what it was we were looking for. After listening to each of us he suggested a new RAV4 Hybrid but my wife knew what she wanted and insisted on a used vehicle. We looked at a few and finally she gave in and asked to see the RAV4. After a relatively short test drive my wife was impressed enough to go inside and start the negotiation phase. It was late at night and I have to get up extremely early to head to work so we informed Royston we only wanted the bottom line. After he conferred with Mike and we were presented with initial quote, a counter offer was given by us and the next thing we know we were in the finance office signing the papers. Royston was the major factor to making this deal possible. He actually listened to our needs and suggested the perfect car to meet both of our needs. My wife got her SUV and I got a vehicle that will provide 30 plus miles per gallon. Win-Win situation for us and Royston is a winner for this dealership!

Johnny C. and Mike W. both made the car purchasing experience awesome. Johnny was friendly, offered advice, and also knew the specs of the car very well. Johnny also made sure I was comfortable during the wait and as a first time buyer, I was honestly surprised at the ease, comfort, and lack of awkwardness, as I came into the dealership anxious and expecting pressure or awkward situations (neither of which happened). Mike was able to find me a lender, even though I was concerned over my credit score. I would have liked a lower APR, but Mike worked to find a lender with offering an APR and monthly payments within budget. The atmosphere of the dealership was also appealing, and I would highly recommend Bayside to anyone purchasing a vehicle. Prior to coming to the dealership, I had spoken with Andrew over the phone, and I can say that everyone I encountered during the process was kind, helpful, and direct.

I decided to buy a new car spur of the moment when my 2006 Highlander needed - in my opinion - excessive service. However, I had been thinking of a new Highlander anyway and had done my research. I bought one of two 2015 models left on the lot. I debated going with a Rav 4; Mark Stern, my salesman, did not try to push me to the higher priced vehicle (though I ended up there anyway). He was informative, listened well, and in the end provided the same excellent service as I decided on this my third Highlander in 10 years. I also should recognize Mike Wang, who showed great patience and professionalism as well as provided clear information regarding financing options and generally helped facilitate the purchase. The service team I have dealt with over the past 10 years are also first rate, and in my opinion I was always provided only the service required, and as a result have serviced my cars every 5,000 miles for the past 10 years.

My wife and I cane down to buy a car and I can say honestly it was the smoothest experience I ever had. Our Sales Person Mark listened to us from the beginning and immediately keyed us into the perfect vehicle for my wife and I. He was straight forward and I genuinely felt like he was looking out for our best interest. He was absolutely awesome as a salesman. When it came to the financing Josh picked up where Mark left off. He was extremely personblel and made everything with the contract crystal clear. It was even more impressive that he was able to accomplish this even though his manager was harping over him constantly and trying to speed it up because someone else was buying a car. The manager, Mike Wang, constantly came in and rushed Josh to hurry while be was explaining the terms of our deal. Josh did a great job despite Mike Wang's constant badgering. I felt as if our purchase wasn't important to Mr Wang. However, Josh did a great job of defusing the whole situation because honestly, I was ready to leave. My wife and I were ready to make the purchase and Josh was explaining our options and we were constantly interrupted by Mr Wang reminding Josh that someone else was waiting. I treat a car purchase as a very serious endeavor and everything was great until Mr Wang made me feel as if my wife and I were a complete waste of time. I don't know what his purpose is there, but it seemed to me it was to act like a task master. Had it not been for how personal Mike and Josh were I would never do business there again.

I entered the dealership about an hour before closing and met with Lisa Novander and Mike Wang. After looking over several vehicles I chose a new 4runner to test drive and decided to purchase. Lisa and Mike were very courteous and knowledgeable about the product, dealer services and out of state registration. Absolutely no pressure, stress or drama that is sometimes associated with the car buying experience. Once we agreed upon a purchase price, trade-in value, etc. I was introduced to Josh Siegel from the finance department. Josh made the paperwork painless and agreed to insure my out of state registration would be handled expeditiously. From the time I entered the dealership until I drove off the lot in a new 4runner was less than two hours...AMAZING! I would highly recommend this dealership.

I dropped my 04 4Runner to get inspected for an extended warranty covered replacement dash. While it was there they did another recall to my computer system to override the accelerator in case it gets stuck. They said I had low voltage on my battery and they couldn't do the update. (I had my battery checked by another service center and it was fine and the same battery worked fine when we took it back). The problem came when they returned the car. My wife brought it home and said it had a flashing light on the console. I looked at it and it did, the TPMS light was flashing. We called the service center to let them know they had done something to my car and they said they would make a note and look at it when we brought it back. Well when the dash finally came in 2.5 months later we took it back and I reminded them about the light. They had no history of our complaint and said they would take a look at it. After replacing the dash they told me it would cost $400+ dollars to fix the sensors. I told them I thought they should pay for it because it was fine before they got my vehicle. They said it was just a coincidence that it broke while they had it and implied that I was lying and the lights could have been on before. I would think that if the lights were on when I brought it in they would make a note so that I couldn't falsely accuse them of breaking it. He just kept insisting that it was a coincidence and kept saying it couldn't possibly have been done by them. So of the 96,360 hours I've owned the car it worked fine and the three hours they had it the TPMS sensors (two of them) magically shorted out? Horrible service, slow work, rude people. Absolutely never going back.

I was, as a lot of people are, ready to be 'over-sold' as I went car shopping at Bayside Toyota. Had I known now what a great experience it would be, I would have looked forward to the adventure. To say this is a great group of people is an understatement. This place is run by Jeff Jacobs in a way that should serve as an example to auto dealers everywhere. Truly a customer-centric experience that left me feeling that not only had I made an exceptional deal, but got a chance to meet some great people along the way. One in particular, Steve Johnson, bears special mentioning. This guy just radiates honesty and integrity, and is and all around nice person to deal with when buying a vehicle. He was the opposite of pushy, and gave me the opportunity to really evaluate my decision...all the while being more patient than I have ever been with anyone. Working with Mike Austin on financing was entirely painless, with him explaining my options in very clear detail. All in all, I drove off the lot in my Certified used Toyota feeling like I had might the absolute best decision in dealing with these folks. Close or far, it is worth your time to visit Bayside Toyota if you are looking for a new or used vehicle. Just wish this review allowed for more than 5 stars!!

I initially went in to get values on two of my vehicles, then ended up trading one car and a lawn mower. Everyone I worked with was highly professional, respectful of my time, and a pleasure to deal with. Unfortunately the only time I could find to go in to make the purchase was during one of their busiest times, but even with the large amount of people there, they made my experience seem special. With their help I was able to buy a new car and actually save money monthly. I'd highly recommend Bayside and give special thanks to everyone that helped me to make something happen that I thought might be impossible. I was extremely happy with the sales process. Tatyana Bailey was very knowledgeable and professional. She knows the Toyota and its options and features much better than I expected. I could not ask a question that she did not know the answer to. The price was calculated by Steve, the sales manager, and I had so much confidence in him and the way he presented to me the way he determined the price that I did not even consider shopping. My wife and I made up our minds right then and bought the car. The finance process was exactly as I had been told and the after market option installation was completed on time. Taytana contacted me a couple of weeks ago to point out a car she thought I would be interested in. I get very anxious when making a life decision like this and Taytana was very patient with me. I get turned off very quickly with pesty salesmen and will most likely go elsewhere if they push me too hard. Taytana was excellent from the moment I met her. She was very knowledgeable on the specs of the car I chose and took her time to explain everything the car was capable of as well as answering all of my questions. Greg in Finance was also excellent and again all of my options were offered to me, my questions answered - in and out of his office within 15 minutes. Debbie Foster was my sales associate and she did an excellent job from car choice to test drive to sale. She helped to make the process move along quickly, which alleviated my "car buying anxiety". I especially appreciated being able to have a test drive that included different terrains, and ways to show how well the car performed. Mike Wang made sure that I got the right price for my car, in accordance with all of the intial research that I did on pricing, and I was grateful for him getting me a Coca-cola instead of a Pepsi. Greg Heffner in finance did a tremendous job in getting me the best interest rate, and guided me through the process in a throrough and knowledgeable fashion. In the end I have the car I have always wanted with a payment that can be made without breaking the budget.

Want a quick reminder of everything you have ever hated about buying a car, visit Bayside. I bought my last two cars there and was treated well. Not so at all on try 3. They showed 0 concern for what I wanted to buy, but were bent on telling me what I should buy and pointing out that the need to follow some archaic and insane dealer rules that have no bearing on the car purchase. Ask for a rough idea of what a car looked at would sell for, "need to set down and discuss it with the manager." Set down and ask for a price, " we need to copy your drivers license so we know you are serious." I can see it now. Ask about how long it will take to get a price - "it will probably be more than 20 minutes." Told them I was not interested in a model X - "let me show you more of model X." And, at all costs, no interest in customer wants, only the process of Bayside mattered.Compare this with another dealer. Call them on the phone and the sales person says "what are you looking for." I tell him and in less than a minute he comes back and says "this is the car we have that is closest to what you want." OK, we are interested, how much is it out the door, Sales-" I will talk with my sales manager and call you back in 5 minute." In less than 5 minutes sales calls back and gives the final price with line by line of all costs." And amazingly, the price seems like a good one with no negotiation required." OK, we are interested, we will drive to DC to see it. Drive to the dealer and see the salesman. Salesman- "I had the car you are interested moved out front. Let's go out and look at it and let me explain some of its new features." Walk about 20', see the pre-cooled car, and a get a very knowledgeable explanation of features. OK, we want it, let's talk price. Sales- " the price is what I told you one the phone." OK, we'll take it but we'd like all weather floor mats as well. Sales- "let me see my manager." In 2 minutes he is back and say they will add the mats at no charge. Total deal done in less time than it took Bayside to tell us we needed to follow certain procedures.I could go on an on about how bad Bayside was. I can summarize by saying, we left southern MD and a dealership we bought 2 previous cars from to buy a car from a DC area dealer. And we strongly prefer buying local. Bayside did an excellent job of giving us every reason possible to buy elsewhere. And, as usual, Bayside will be labeled as a dealership to avoid at all costs to anyone we know that is searching for a car.

Disliked the idea of truck shopping. Saw some used pickup trucks for sale on Bayside website. Went to AAA website to get lowest price. Went to Bayside and was put in touch with Joe Lyon. Found truck I wanted to purchase. Told Joe what I wanted my payments to be. Gave me several options. Told him I would think about it, and get back with him. What I liked best was there was no pressure to purchase then. Was not pushie to buy at that moment. Went home and called Joe. Bought truck. Joe was a pleasure to do deal with. Got truck at good price with payments I wanted. Very pleased with the way everything went. Would definitely buy from Bayside Toyota again.

I bought a new Toyota Prius from Ryan Franklin earlier this month and had a wonderful experience. We stepped into the showroom on a Saturday morning with no idea what kind of car we wanted, and had made a decision by noon! Ryan was very patient and let us test drive and learn about several different cars before we decided we liked the Prius. He explained why the Prius was a good choice for someone driving in the city and taught us how the battery worked. He showed us all of the features of the car and made the process very easy! After we bought the car, I had some questions, and he would respond very quickly be email or phone. Overall, had a great experience at Bayside!

I had a Chevy Sonic for the past three years and it was always having one issue or another. I wanted to see what I could do about getting into a Toyota as I have heard for years they are so dependable.Debbie Foster found me wandering around the lot looking a the Yaris, and asked if she could help. And man did she ever! I test drove a Corolla and bought it about 45 minutes later! What a wonderful car. I love how it feels, the gas mileage and the 2 year maintenance free is outstanding!!Corey took care of me when I had all the problems with the Chevy and assured me I was making a great choice. I have always been a fan of Toyota's and when it was time to replace my VW Passat, I looked to Toyota for an economical car for not alot of money. Bayside Toyota is right down the street from us, so you can't beat the convenience. I have taken my Rav4 and Suburban to them for maintenance, so I was very familiar with their service department. Sean Mason was our sales rep and he was very pleasant and knowledgeable. We took the Corolla out for a test drive and were sold. Sean explained all of the features to us, financing, etc. In no time, we were driving off in our new Corolla and we still love the car. I highly recommend Sean and Bayside for sales and service!!

I have purchased 15-20 new cars in my life but this is the first Toyota ...a Highlander XLE. And making the purchase at Bayside was the best auto-buying decision I have ever made. Where to start...my first contact was with Sales Manager Steve Thompson. My wife and I arrived on a busy Saturday afternoon...the showroom was very active but Steve saw us and came to greet us moments after we walked in the door. Having a pretty good idea of which models we were considering, it didn't take Steve long to start whittling down our choices based on our preferences. He arranged for Jessica Sullivan to assist us, as he greeted other customers. But Steve stayed in direct touch with us all afternoon as our preferences changed. Jessica was patient, professional and personable every step of the way, even though we changed our minds a couple more times.Meanwhile, after test driving different models, when we pulled back into the parking lot Jessica and Steve appeared out of nowhere to welcome us back to see what we thought. In a short time, we had decided to purchase a Highlander.Now the question was which model. Steve and Jessica very quickly provided us with our options and availabilities and the decision was made.Keep in mind...all this was happening during an extremely busy Saturday at the dealership. I mention this because I am not blessed with a lot of patience and have walked out of dealerships before for waiting too long. But not this time.My wife and I felt like we were the most important people in Calvert County that day...that's the way Steve and Jessica treated us. A trade-in was involved as we moved up in size from our Infinity. The trade-in value was exactly what we hoped it would be. The paperwork and processes that followed proceeded without a hitch. To be totally honest, the final paperwork took a little longer than my impatient personality would have preferred BUT Steve and Jessica were so attentive and kind that I didn't mind a bit.In closing, I had heard a lot of good reviews from friends and neighbors about Bayside. I had heard the dealership was heavily involved in the Calvert County community. Just bought a Toyota SE, Sport Model. I wanted to buy at Bayside Toyota because I bought a Sienna there eleven years ago and have used their Service Dept. for many years before that. Bayside is "tops", and their sales person, Tatyana Bailey gave us the attention we have come to expect. We had trouble making up our mind, and Tatyana suggested we re-review several models we had previously rejected. I was very young and freshly married and my new husband and I bought a car from the dealership that was in our "new" hometown of Calvert County. Totally satisfied in every aspect and very happy with my new car and the staff at Bayside!! It was truly a car-buying experience we had never had. When we had our first child, I needed a minivan (ugh). Steve Thompson helped me pick the safest, most economic vehicle for my new family and it was from that day that we developed a relationship. Service has been AWESOME, but I use AWESOME as an understatement. Kudos to Kevin Murray and Paul Hanna, who then made my Bayside family even bigger - they have taken care of all my vehicles with the utmost professionalism and the service guys are GREAT! I have purchased 5 cars from Bayside since 1995 and all of them have been serviced ONLY at Bayside (I never go to drive through oil change places, no way). Just recently, that baby that Steve met 17 years ago, is now ready to drive - and, knowing how hard this is on me (mom) and having been through it with his own daughter, he helped me get her in a safe, economical, financially feasible vehicle. These guys have known me for 20 years and I count on their judgement, their honesty, their loyalty. I will never go anywhere else! When we were searching for the "teenager car" I was accused of cheating, lol! (because I was shopping around) I would never cheat! haha. Had a terrible experience at another dealership before coming to Bayside Toyota. I initially called and spoke to Andrew about my trade in. Got great information and connected to Ryan to come in the next day to see a 2012 Toyota Highlander. Ryan called to introduce himself and was wonderful to work with from the moment I arrived. The car was ready for the test drive upon arrival. At no point did I feel that Ryan was trying to "sell" me. He was laid back, interested in what I wanted in a car, and making a deal I was comfortable signing. Greg worked with me to make sure the financing was something I could do and helped find me the absolute best rate (trust me I shopped around before going in). I was extremely happy driving my 2012 Toyota Highlander ride off the lot! This experience was like buying a car from a friend. I had originally emailed Harry but he was not available on that day so Cody had the pleasure of helping me get into this new (to me) truck. Everything was just as described and pictured. Upon arrival I was greeted and the truck was ready for my test drive. Finished the test drive and everything from the financing to the final delivery of the truck was handled amazingly. Recently purchased our third vehicle from Bayside. This time it was a slightly used 2014 4Runner. Each experience has gotten better over the years. Cindy worked with Steve to get what I wanted for my trade and the price I wanted on the new vehicle and the transaction was quick and easy (Janet is awesome). We routinely use there service department and they're one of the better ones. Kevin and the guys are great. I'm constantly on forums for both the FJ Cruiser (my other vehicle) and the 4Runner and I feel lucky compared to some of the horror stories I hear about the "stealership" service departments others have to contend with. Before my search for a car, I researched prices and cars that would meet my specific needs. Armed with limited knowledge and a great deal of skepticism, I visited several dealerships. I was amazed how little the sales staff knew or cared about their cars and my needs. They just wanted to move cars. Then I heard about Bayside and decided I'd give it a try. I was greeted by a wonderful, knowledgable woman, Jessica Sullivan. Her knowledge of cars was impressive, but her ablility to listen to my particular needs and identify cars tailored to my specific needs was amazing. Plus, she didn't hesitate to tap other staff members that may have been more knowlegable about a specific issue. I felt that I had the whole Bayside staff working together as a team to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. They were not just interested in selling a car, they were interested in doing their job in the best way possible. Bayside is the place to go!

As a first-time customer and car owner, I was blown away by the customer service I received at Bayside Toyota. The staff worked with me to help me stay within my budget and was more than accommodating in satisfying my needs when looking for a car. My sales representative Aaron was honest and explained the process to me thoroughly so all my questions were answered.The only problem I had with my car is that a part on my 160-Point Vehicle Check was broken. The guide of my oil dipstick was cracked off and rusted, yet it was checked off as acceptable on my paperwork. I went to the mechanical department immediately and when I explained my situation, they took my car back and had me out of the office within 30 minutes and let me know that my part had been ordered. I received a call a week later that my part was in.Great service! They will go above and beyond to keep their customers happy and be fair!!!

Sent an email through their website about a truck my husband and I were interested one evening, the next morning, we immediately got a phone call from Harry (Internet Consultant). He was very nice and he promptly contacted the sales manager Jeff about what we were interested in and the price we were looking for. Once arriving to the dealership, the process was so quick and the truck we were looking at was in EXCELLENT shape for it being used. Brought my car in for 10000 mile checkup, was informed there was another recall on my car, for the seat backs. Told them it had already been completed. No this is a new recall. Two months to get the parts, schedule the appointment, drive there. Oh wait this has already been completed. I told you that two months ago. The response, "Oh well this is great because now we have the parts that no one else has!" Never mind that I lost a half days pay, no apology for the mix up. Really duede, this is great for Bayside. You really need to work on your customer service. 12000miles and 6 times for repairs. Mice in the engine when purchased, AC recall, seat backs, headliner, disconnected electronics, and seat backs. Prior to coming to Bayside Toyota my husband and I did our research on which car we wanted to purchase. We had a pretty good idea that the Prius V was going to be the best fit for us and our growing family. Once we decided upon the vehicle we started searching for which dealership to purchase from. Neither my husband nor I had ever purchased a new car so we were a bit apprehensive about the process. We researched dealerships within a 100mile radius from our home in St. Mary's County. The reviews for Bayside Toyota were far and above any of the other places we looked at (and their prices were very competitive). We decided to make the trip up to PF and are very glad we did! Lauren was very knowledgable and NOT PUSHY at all. She took the time to explain the vehicle to us and provided us with excellent information. Actually everyone we worked with was just great (the gentleman who finalized our paperwork was a hoot...by the time we got to that stage it was around 930pm on a weekday...i was punchy and tired...but everyone took their time with us). My husband and I have already recomended this dealership to our friends and are sure to be back.

I would have given all 5 stars except when I purchased my Tacoma I was told that the finance guy would get back in touch with me about getting my fiance's name on the title with mine. I called a few days after my purchase and still was told that it was being worked on and that he would call me back. To date I have still not heard anything back in regards to this. As far as Jessica I could not have asked for better patience and understanding form her then what I received. We were at the dealership for almost 6 hrs and had 2 kids with us. She took the time to play with my kids and ensure that they were entertained.

I had a very pleasant experience when purchasing our RAV4 from Bayside Toyota in Prince Frederick, Maryland. It started with a very informative website that displayed their used vehicle inventory in a very user friendly way. I had been visiting their website for approximately three months to get educated on their pricing and the turnover of their inventory. While there for a basic service on my Toyota Hylander, I walked around the lot looking for two vehicles I had seen on the website. I was greeted by Ryan Franklin, a very friendly and informative salesperson. Ryan was very patient while I picked his brain about the various options on each vehicle and he offered information that I did not think to ask about. He directed us through a great test drive route that really demonstrated the ability of the RAV4. At no time during the whole process did Ryan use any type of high pressure sales tactics. The entire buying process was very cordial and professional...beginning with becoming informed of the product with Ryan's assistance, finalizing a purchase price, and processing the paper work. I would greatly recommend Bayside Toyota to my friends. The only thing I am sorry about is that I didn't purchase my other Toyota from Bayside.

I walked into the dealership, after having emailed about a 2014 Toyota Tacoma earlier in the day, only hoping to get to test drive it. I had been to 2-3 other dealerships prior to coming to Bayside at the recommendation of a friend. The prior dealerships tried to bully me into making a deal, they made me feel like I was burdening them and like I was irrational for wanting to trade my vehicle in and try for something new. They told me I'd have an outrageous payment and I'd have a ridiculously high interest rate, yet they didn't take the time to make the phone calls and work the numbers. I was over the whole car shopping experience.From the moment I walked into Bayside, I was offered a beverage, nice conversation, and they understood my frustration with my experiences with the other dealerships. At first, after the paperwork was drawn up, it appeared that the deal would not work for me, but despite the late hour and my need to stick to a specific payment, they continued to work on deals, get on the phone and make the necessary calls to move some numbers around, and work with me in order to get me into the new vehicle I wanted, at a payment I was comfortable with, at an interest rate that blew my mind since I was told I'd have a double digit rate by the other dealerships! I apologized repeatedly for keeping them so late and for being so strong in sticking to my payment needs, and they repeatedly made me feel completely at ease with what was going on, telling me that they only wanted to help me, and continuing to offer me things to help make the deal go smoothly. I am beyond pleased with the service I received at Bayside Toyota in Prince Frederick. I've been telling my story to everyone who asks about my new truck, and I've recommended them to a few people already. If, on the rating survey above, anything better than great was possible, I'd still want to surpass that as the people at Bayside Toyota are beyond amazing. I commute over 100 miles to work and back and was looking for a vehicle that would be comfortable and economical at the same time. My current vehicle was a 2010 fusion that got 26 mpg. Frankie Tayman showed me the Camry hybrid vehicle. Being new to the hybrid market I think I asked a hundred questions, some even twice. Frankie was very patient with me and answered all of them. He knew that I was looking at the Fusion hybrid as well and he never tried to talk me out of buying the Ford. Instead he sat with me and helped me to write a 'must have' list and then made sure that each vehicle he showed me met my list. At one point I came to him and asked him about a smaller car that was not a hybrid that gets better gas mileage than my fusion. Without missing a beat he showed me the corolla that met my must have list. On one test drive I asked him what made him want to sell cars and his answer was, "I like to match people to the car they will love. It is not just about making a sale, but making people happy." The way he treated me I could see that he was genuine because his actions backed up his words. Frankie also impressed my husband. He gets annoyed when he knows more about a car than the sales person. He thinks that Frankie was the most knowledgeable salesperson he has spoken to in our last four car purchases. The icing on the cake for our experience was the color choice. After my final test drive between the Toyota and Ford I went home and discussed with my husband which car to buy. I decided that the one I loved the most was the Camry. Then I had to pick a color. The blue that I loved was only available in the 2014 and not the 2014.5 so I was leaning towards the red. My husband went to Frankie the next day to let him know what I had decided. I had to work so I could not go. When doing the car search for the red, Frankie noticed the blue that I wanted was available with all my wish list items. He told my husband and they decided to surprise me with the color choice. The following evening Frankie came in on his day off to surprise me with the car. I am not sure who was more excited, Frankie or my husband :) This was the best car buying experience I ever had. Frankie went above and beyond to help me find "my" car. The others at the dealership were polite and helpful as well. We were very happy with the treatment we received. We would recommend the dealership to others without hesitation. The salesperson Frankie however makes me want to call all my friends and tell them to go to him to buy a car. That is how impressed we were. Happily driving, Debbie & Tom Linehan

Weve bought cars from Bayside for about 12 years, and had our cars serviced there for even longer. We dont buy a lot of cars because they last forever; our Sequoia has 325,000 miles. When we finally decided that it was time to car shop, we were excited and filled with dread. Like a lot of other people we have not always had a great experience with car salesman. We have spent hours and hours at dealerships in the past and never satisfied with the deal that we received. Dealership made promises to us that never happened.Upon arrival at Bayside, we were met a the door by a eager salesmen. We were thinking, oh boy here we go again. We explained that we wereinterest in test driving two of their vehicles. The salesman was very informative about the vehicles, he explained all the new features that were available and we were quickly behind the wheel. After completing the drives the sales manager was ready with their quotes on both vehicles. We didn't have to wait around while our salesman went back and forth, bargaining on our behalf. We had done our homework on the internet, so we new what was a reasonable price. They offered great prices on both vehicles, we had a really hard time deciding.We decided on our purchase, went thru the process of financing, which was another surprisingly pleasant experience. We never felt anypressured by the salesman, sales manager or the finance office.All in all, we had a great experience and we have already told all of our family and friends.Our daughter purchased a vehicle there a week after our purchase.

After weeks of reading car reviews and trying to determine exactly what I wanted in a car, I narrowed the search down to either a Scion or RAV4. The first stop we made was at Bayside Toyota to see a RAV4 which unfortunately had been sold the night before. Eric Eitel, our sales representative, found another RAV4 and a Scion xB for us to test drive. He was extremely patient while I drove the Scion, RAV4 and Scion again. I loved the Scion and that's what we finally decided on. Eric was with us throughout offering to answer questions, suggest other cars and keep us company while the paperwork was completed. The price of the Scion was very good and the price for my trade-in was exactly what I wanted. I would most definitely recommend Bayside to anyone and will go back again if/when it's time to purchase another vehicle. All in all a very good experience.

Since Basyside has both Toyota and Chevrolet dealerships side by side I was able to test drive comparable vehicles. My sales person Eric was excellent in allowing me to test drive both vehicles, answer questions regarding the Pros & cons for each vehicle. Once I had determined I wanted to purchase the Toyota Highlander, the process to complete the sale was very quick and efficient. Many of my friends say that they hate shopping for cars but I have to say this is our third purchase with Bayside and we never feel stressed there. Both times we saw the vehicle on their website and then went down there for a closer look. Robert Smith was our salesman in both instances. Pete was amazing to work with! He spent time with us and didn't make us feel rushed into buying anything. He wasn't pushy which is great because that has caused us to leave dealerships in the past. He came in on his day off (through snow and bad weather) to help us with our purchase. Pete was very patient with our three rowdy children, and as a mom that is one of the major qualities I notice! We will definitely recommend him to anyone interested in purchasing a new vehicle.As for the price, my reasons for "good" have nothing to do with the dealership or the people. With any large purchase, I always wonder if I could have gotten it for a lower price but I am very pleased with the cost and think it was fair. Working with Janet was also a great experience. She was able to offer us a lower interest rate than our lender and kept our monthly payment below the set amount, even after adding warranties and additional options. We did not feel like we were being pushed into buying something we didn't want or need but she listened to our expectations and experiences and recommended what she thought would be good for us.

When arriving Lauren was the first to approach me asking if she could help. She was kind enough to take me out to the cars I wanted to look at even though one was not in her area. For example, he made arrangements for us to review the inside of Toyota Sienna in a warm garage during a exceptionally cold day. On the second visit, he had the vehicle ready and warm for us to test drive. Mr. Thompson was vey helpful after we decided on the Sienna and wanted a particular model and color. Rudy came out to the lot where my husband and I were looking at the RAV4. We told him we wanted to take it for a test drive. We did and decided we were interested in buying, but not what was on the lot. So we went inside and I gave first and second choice to a lot of options. Rudy went to locate what I wanted from another dealership. We then received a phone call that required us to leave the dealership. Rudy called me right away on my cell phone to say a vehicle was located. He gave me the price, plus my trade-in price. We were happy with it and made arrangements to come in 2 days later to purchase the RAV4. By the time we returned 2 days later, my husband and I decided we were purchasing a Tacoma also. We arrived with both vehicles we were trading in. While Steve was doing the paperwork for me on my RAV4, Blake was haggling on the trade in price with my husband. My husband got the trade in price he wanted and so purchased a Tacoma. We have nothing but nice things to say about how the whole experience of the purchases went. All three men were very professional and pleasant to work with. We had bought our last 3 Toyotas from this dealership. We have been so happy with this dealership that we came back and bought vehicles number 4 and 5. That should tell you something about what we think of this dealership and the people working there.

I had a vehicle that left us stranded on a Friday night. I needed a replacement by Monday and Bayside Toyota was my first choice. A couple years ago, we purchased a 2011 Scion from Steve here at Bayside and the experience was the best we've had with any dealership so we went back to Bayside. We went in on Saturday afternoon met with Steve (who remembered us) and started looking at options available for new Tacoma Sport trucks which were in limited supply within a 100 miles radius. He laid out the options and what was available/what he could get in such a short period of time, but ultimately he was very good at informing us of the pros and cons and letting the decision be ours. We left Bayside with a new 2014 Tacoma Sport. We were very pleased with the purchase and the excellent care and service received. Janet handled our financing/warranty paperwork. She presented the warranty and maintenance options and left it to us to make an informed decision. We did not feel pressured.Ryan Franklin called the following day and asked how we were enjoying the truck. I took my scion frs in for its 15000 mile service which includes a tire rotation, multipoint inspection, oil change and cabin air filter replacement. The first service was prompt and courteous (Gen Cartwright was my service advisor) however I received a call the next day from him to inform me the oil change hadn't been done, just the inspection and tire ration. So I had to take the car back. I asked him to tell me what the entire service entailed but he said he didn't have the information. They proceeded to change the oil. While waiting I looked up the recommended service on my computer and showed Gene that the cabin filter was suppose to replaced. He also confirmed by looking in my owners manual. Despite this the service manager told him that it was not covered and refused to replace although they couldn't show me what service was suppose to performed. I called scion customer service and they confirmed it was covered. I went the next day with my Scion Boost Service Plan and showed the manager (Kevin Murray who was very condescending) and even then he refused to acknowledge it was covered but finally agreed to replace it. After they ordered it, I had to go back again to get the filter. I went ahead and installed it myself to be sure the work was performed. I wouldn't have thought a service would be so difficult or that I would have argue to have a full service performed. I know mine was the first frs they had serviced but I wont take it back there ever again.

I was extremely nervous to purchase a car. I have had my RAV4 since high school (I graduated over 10 years ago)...and I did not want to let her go or have a car payment. Frankie, my sales person, was very helpful, and made the shopping experience easy. He answered all my questions and gave suggests. I test drove a Camry and a newer RAV4...I ended up purchasing the RAV4 that day! I was still more comfortable not having a tail end on my vehicle. She rides smoothly and was clean. Blake and Janet were awesome finance people...I was able to stay within my budget and got the maintenance package I needed. I did not feel any pressure during the entire time. Also, I did not spend the whole day in there. It took less than 5 hour to complete everything!

I spoke with Andrew first because I had searched for a new camry online. I pretty much knew exactly what I wanted when I met with Rudy at the dealershiip. Rudy did not try to sell me anything else. I liked the sticker price on the car, the % financing and the $500.00 rebate. I was also very happy with the value of our trade in. Steve came up with the final price of the car and the monthly payments which was also pretty much what I was looking for. Janet did the paperwork for us. She was quick and efficient which was nice (my husband hates last minute sales pitches). She did talk to us about the extended warranty which we had already decided to take. She also talked to us about the gap insurance which we declined. Everyone at Bayside was pleasant and friendly and at no time did I feel pressured. I got exactly what I was looking for. This care is third vehicle my husband and I have purchased from Bayside and we would definitely go back.

I came to shop for a new car without really knowing what I was looking for, and everyone at Bayside was extremely helpful in finding me the car I didn't even know I wanted to buy. They let me test drive a few cars, and never really pressured me into buying anything. They let me take my time to decide on the car I felt was right for me, and when I came back to the dealership to tell them what I was looking for they immediately began searching for that car at other dealerships. Rudy was great when it came to communicating with me about when my car was ordered and when it was arriving at the dealership for me to pick up. I purchased a black 2014 Toyota Corolla S premium, which is also my first car I've ever bought. We needed another car quick as my daughter was heading off to college and changed her mind about driving. We put a credit application in on Friday night and received a quick acknowledgement. We went in on a Saturday afternoon and was quickly greeted by Lauren Thompson. After listening to what we thought we needed, she suggested a couple of test drives to help us make a decision. After the test drives we came in walked through the data collection process in a quick two minutes. What we thought next would be the drawn out back and forth process really surprised us as Lauren came back with a great price and we were done- new car! I began with an internet inquiry of several dealerships. Harry Nguyen was first to respond, gave good information, a slightly discounted price and was quickly responsive to questions. When I decided to buy the vehicle he had found it had been sold. My selection of options was not very popular. No other exact match was available. Harry referred me to the showroom sales department where Mike and Steve explained that a slightly better upgrade package would yield lots of available vehicles. Mike was persistent in arranging a vehicle swap with another dealer and the following day I had my truck. Better truck, better deal, very helpful staff from first contact through finance.This is a fairly small dealership, not part of a giant network of dealers under one ownership. The atmosphere was friendly and informal and I never got that creepy feeling which is unfortunately often part of the car buying experience. That alone is enough reason to rate Bayside Toyota positively.

The most recent purchase they were 2 thousand lower than the three other dealers that I went to. Karen and Steve Thompson (mgr) were the best. I wanted my next car to be a Toyota (currently own a 2004 Scion XB) and have enjoyed the professionalism shown by Kevin Freeburger in the service department. He represents the dealership so well that I wanted my next car to come from this dealership. I explained to the sales team that I was waiting for my car to be serviced and just wanted to walk around and look at cars while I was talking on the phone. They didn't bother me until I decided to come back inside and ask a question. Karen Gardiner, who originally approached me, was so helpful, answered all questions, and arranged a test drive. I had a great time with her on the test drive and fell in love with the Toyota Tacoma. She really knows and loves trucks which is what I was interested in. Then Ryan Pope got busy finding the exact model that I wanted and was very pleasant as well as professional. Next I met with Steve Seek who took excellent care of me both times that I met with him. He explained various options so patiently no matter how many times I asked, "well what about this, or what about that." They all seem to really enjoy what they are doing and work very well together, and they all made it such a pleasant experience for me. I decided to keep my Scion and buy the truck. For example one car had peanut shells on the front passenger side floor. Another had loose change. The car we ended up purchasing had some light scratches that were buffed out but this could have been done ahead of time. There was one problem with the certification checklist - the spare tire had not been checked off so it was not clear whether it was an oversight or there was a problem that needed to be resolved. These problems really set the saleperson up for rather embarrassing situations with customers. The one exception was significant. The first Camry we test drove had a loud rubbing sound coming from the back drivers side quadrant. Pete, my son and I all agreed that it was not safe driving the car and we returned to the lot. I believe this was a certified vehicle and it was not a good first impression of vehicle certification process, or the Bayside dealership. Our Salesman, Pete Oestringer provided a great service to his dealership by being open and honest about this problem. If he had tried to minimize the situation in anyway it would have been a deal breaker as his integrity would have been suspect. Both my son and I found Pete to be knowledgable, frank, and responsive to our requests. We drove a least 5 vehicles, new and used, corollas and Camrys trying to get the right combination we were looking for. He was patient and provided excellent guidance on things to think about. I used email at one point to get additional information about a vehicle. The email was received by Harry Nguyen, who promptly responded and made sure Pete was aware of our new interest. It was reassuring to see the sales personnel backing each other up. A friend recommended Pete to me and I would pass along the same recommendation to others doing business at Bayside. In general I would say that the overall experience was great because of the strength of the salesperson. Some work is needed in preping the vehicles.

What a wonderful experience we had at Bayside. Our salesperson, Karen Gardiner was the most friendly associate that I have ever dealt with. She spoke like we were old friends. Did not feel pressured or rushed in any way. Janet Poloski was also very friendly and super helpful when the financing was being finalized. It was time to buy a new car. Bayside Service Department has done a Great Job keeping my 13 year old Olds van (that I had bought at another dealership) and my 2009 Prius (purchaced at Bayside), in great shape. It was my dealing with Paul Hanna and Brttany Gray that sealed the deal. During a Service Visit, I talked with Karen Gardiner, and test drove a 2013 Prius V. Three visits, and nearly a month later, with no pressure, we sealed the deal, got the car we wanted, and a great price. I know that if the service is as great as it has been, i will be buying my next car from Bayside. Of course with the great service, my cars run for a long time. I still have the 13 year old Van and continue to use it for hauling stuff. (That's a tribute to the service Department).

From the very start, the employees at Bayside Toyota went above and beyond, not only to make me satisfied and happy but my family as well. After inquiring about a 2011 Dodge Nitro that they had in stock, I recieved an immediete response from Harry Nguyen answering all my questions and even offering me a $200 discount due to me having to drive almost 2 hours to get there. Since it would be a couple of days before I was able to go to Bayside, Harry kept in contact with me answering any additional questions I had regarding the vehicle. Upon arrival at Bayside Toyota, my family and I were met by Lauren Thomspon who already had the Vehicle waiting for us near the showroom. She answered all questions regarding the vehicle and took my wife for a test drive. Besides her friendly smile and willingness to help us out throughout our car buying experience, she was great with my two year old. She gave him a stuffed bear and a balloon to keep him occupied while waiting for the vehicle to get gassed up and washed. Once it was time for all the paperwork to be done Janet Poloski took care of us. She explained everything to us step by step, and thoroughly educated us on the extended warranty plan which we bought. Instead of just focusing on the paperwork and getting us out of her office(son was running around all over the place, touching everything and making handprints all over the glass windows, she got to know us and we actually had a friendly conversation about life, family and the good ole Marine Corps. All in all, it was by far the best experience that I have had buying a vehicle, this one being my ninth. Special mention is made that Robert Smith is an excellent Sales Consultant. The calibre of experience with the Toyota product line was most evident. He was very attentive to our specifications that we were seeking in the purchase of our vehicle. The vehicle wasn't on the lot at our first visit. However, when we came in to close the deal, the vehicle exceeded our expectations. Every promise and/or statement made about the vehicle was true.My husband and I are extremely pleased with the vehicle as well as the customer service provided by Mr. Robert Smith.However, the lack of customer service/rudeness from the Finance Rep was truely disappointing and unprofessional. My husband and I started to leave without completing the purchase because of her insensitivity and lack of customer service skills. This is the only portion of the sale that made our experience with this dealership unpleasant.Kudos to Mr. Smith. Excellent customer service from initial vist through delivery of the vehicle.

This was the best car purchase experience I have ever had, with this being my third new car in 30 years. I had been searching for a new vehicle for the last six months and was quite frustatrated at the way I had been treated at dealerships in the Metro DC area. I searched specifically for a dearlership outside of the area and chose Bayside Toyota. When I entered the door I was greeted by Lauren Thompson, a spit-fire young sales woman. I told her I was there to see the new Rav-4, which I test drove, but it was not quite what I was looking for. Then Lauren suggetsted the Camry, it was okay, but had was missing a security feature I needed. She inquired with Steve Thompson, who suggested the Avalon. I was skittish at first, but the test drive proved to me that this was the vehicle I was meant to purchase. Let me just say, Lauren was extremely patient, if you asked her a question she didn't know the answer to she was forthright to say, " I don;t know, I will have to get the answer for you". I really appreciated her honesty. Following the test drive, there was no high pressure sales, just a real converstation. In the past,. I would not particpate in this part of the transaction, because it was the unpleasant part, but Steve Thompson assured me that this would be a different experince. It really was. We left the dealership on Saturday evening, wanting an opportunity to 'think it over'. By Monday morning we made the final decision. The paperwork was no problem working with Steve Seek. It was actually fun sitting in the office talking and laughing while signing the papers. One more thing, I have never received so many letters from the staff from thanking us for visitng the dealership to congratulating us for the purchase of the vehicle. Mr. Wannamaker, I don't know how you can improve on perfection. THANKS BAYSIDE TOYOTA!!

My overall experience with Bayside Toyota in Prince Frederick, MD was awesome. From the moment I met Mr. Smith I felt as though I'd known him forever. He is very friendly and knows how to make a customer feel comfortable and confident with buying a car. He never tried to force a car on me or suggest an outrageously priced vehicle. He asked me my will do's and my won't do's and from there customized a car roster specifically for me to choose from. Ultimately I picked the 2010 Buick Lacrosse, which I didn't take a second look at until Robert suggested it and, took me on a tour of all the great features the car had to offer. The car is awesome on gas. Before leaving I received a full tank of gas. To get back home took 40 miles and when I got home I drove around a lot to different family members homes to show off. When I arrived home that night I noticed I had used 100 miles total from the time I left the dealer. GET THIS! When I looked at my gas, I had only used 1/3 from the full tank I had. Crazy, I had OVER HALF of a full tank left. I could go on and on about my experience with Car Salesman Robert Smith, but I'll close in saying you wont leave Bayside Toyota without being abundantly satisfied. Financing is awesome as well. Shout out to Janet Poloski who was very friendly and warm. She knows her stuff too! Just try and and speed up the financing a little bit. The bank took forever to get back. I was there from 10:00am until 3:00pm. However Mr. smith made it fun with his humor. Thank you Robert Smith and Bayside Toyota. I'll be back to visit soon!!! :) :)

Steve Seek was very personable. When I first arrived he asked if he could assist me. I told him I was not interested in buying immediately but I would like to test drive a new Avalon. He had one available and we went for a drive. It rode very well. Steve didn't pressure me into a sale. I told him and the Sales Manager, Steve, that I wasn't in a hurry and I would get back to them when I was ready. Circumstances changed and I needed to buy one sooner than expected. I contacted Navy Federal Credit Union Buying Service and USAA Buying Service and received vouchers. I stopped by to see Steve Seek, showed him the price I could get at one of the recommended dealers and asked if he could match it. He didn't quite match it, but came reasonably close, so I bought the car. They ordered exactly what I wanted, with the option and accessories I chose and the car was delivered ahead of schedule. Steve Seek was very professional and I would recommend him to anyone interested in a new Toyota.

I came into Bayside to check out a car that I was interested in, but didn't necessarily need. My old Toyota was just fine. Karen listened and never once pressured me, just shared an amazing amount of information about the new vehicle. Financing and warranty options were explained thoroughly, but again, never pushed on us. Our kids were even tended to with drinks and toys! When we returned a few days later to get an interior treatment applied, the service staff was extremely courteous and got me into a loaner and on my way to work in minutes. This is not my first experience with Bayside, but it was every bit as good as any other experience that I've had. Short of taking my wife and I out to dinner somewhere, customer service (in sales and service departments) is superb. Paul and everyone else there is very patient and understanding. For quality of work, I have to address the Service Department. I've been having my service done by Bayside for almost three years now, and every visit is highly satisfactory. Price is good and the quality of their work is unbeatable. I've been to dealerships where the sales staff and managers are aloof and unhelpful. That is NOT the case at Bayside. Sales Consultants are helpful and patient and Sales Managers are very approachable and friendly. They make buying a vehicle a pleasant experience. The price of my new Toyota Camry (with 0% financing) was great. I am completely satisfied. I understand how price and trade-in works. The deal was good. It would be hard to beat it anywhere. Paul Veon is the most helpful and friendly sales person that I've met in a long time. He has a knack for knowing how to deal with regular people without acting like an agressive sales person. I will recommend my friends and family to him.

I recently purchased my 2013 Toyota Tacoma from Bayside and I could not be happier with the experience. Steve (the sales manager) helped out in so many ways to ensure that I received the best treatment. He greeted me at the door and introduced me to one of the best sales people I have ever met, Lauren Thompson. I called earlier and informed them I was coming, Steve took the time to go and grab the keys and have them ready for me. There was no fumbling around or "looking for the keys" as I have experienced at other dealerships. The Tacoma was all ready for me as well. Lauren took me on a test drive in the area that allowed me to experience the handling of the truck and answered every question I had. When we got back to the dealership, F and I went smoothly (there were no pushy sales techniques) Janet informed me of the incentives and asked if I wanted them. She answered every question I had and made her recommendations. When everything was said and done... and signed, Lauren delivered the vehicle to me and explained every feature in more depth than she had during the test drive.Overall, I am extremely happy with the price and the customer service. I went to a few other dealerships in Maryland and felt like just another number, at Bayside, I truly felt like on of the family. They took care of me while I was there and I have received two follow up phone calls just to make sure I was still loving my truck. I would recommend Bayside Toyota to any one of my friends and I would highly recommend Lauren, especially if you are looking for a Tacoma!

We were greeted by Frankie Tayman in a friendly manner. He did not apply any pressure but after we told him the Toyota Camry we were interested in he had a car ready for us to look at almost immediately. He had a soft-spoken, calm way about him. He wanted to give us the best deal he could. We told him a monthly payment amount we would be comfortable with and he hit it right on the mark. He explained the features of the car and we took a short test drive. We wanted a particular interior color (gray) and he immediately found a car at another dealership for us and had it delivered to Bayside within a couple hours. When the floor mats did not arrive with the car, he found another set and put them in for us. When we sat down to complete the deal, he walked us through the booklets that explained what our warranty would be, etc. and told us about some extra features we would be offered but did not pressure us to purchase them (extended warranty/Zurich shield, etc.) After we went through the financial details and signed all the necessary paperwork, Frankie took us out to the car itself and visually showed us all the many features and where to find the right buttons, etc., to push for all the workings of the car. He was a wonderful salesperson and we were very comfortable with him and extremely pleased with our experience.

This was my second purchase from Bayside Toyota, the Camry I purchased approximately 1 1/2 years ago was involved in an automobile accident and declared a total loss by the other driver's insurance company. As you can imagine, it was stressful trying to find a dependable and attractive replacement vehicle as I was still dealing with the physical and mental issues related to the accident and the loss of my 2010 Camry. I initially contacted Bayside after seeing the 2010 Corolla LX on their website. I received a very prompt response and made the decision to purchase the car after seeing it in person and completing a test drive. Frankie even went out of his way to deliver me tags after hours after I forgot them at the dealership. This was no fault of his but he made it right. Steve and Janet couldn't be any better in my opinion, and I will ask for them (as well as Frankie) by name the next time I buy a Toyota. I want Bayside Toyota to be successful so that I may have the opportunity to be a repeat customer.

I was on my way to Marlow Heights to purchase a new vehicle and decided to stop at Bayside Chevrolet. Robert Smith listened to what I was looking for and suggested a Toyota. I was previously interested in the Traverse or Equinox. Robert was patient with me in all of the questions I had for him. He was very personable as well. I test drove the Rav 4 with Robert. The Rav 4 was ok and I was going to settle since it was in the price range I needed. We were walking through the lot and stumbled across a used Highlander. To my surprise, the price was within my range. I love "my new" highlander. I was sceptical on purchasing a used vehicle since I would not get zero percent financing and was unsure of my monthly payment. Kevin the General Manager was great and worked with me to get my payments close enough to what was affordable for me. He lowered the price of the vehicle and increased my trade-in value. Trevor in the Finance Department was truly a pleasure in completing the final steps in this process by lowering the finance charge by one percentage. I would highly recommend Bayside Chevrolet!

Lauren Thompson, our salesperson, while young in years, was extremely knowledgeable about the Siena, pointing out all of its attributes and features. After the purchase was finalized, she set up our Bluetooth and made sure we knew how to operate the various components within the vehicle. She was a pleasure to deal with.The sales manager (I apologize, I don't recall his name), and Janet, who finalized the paperwork, were also very polite and helpful. Toyota 4Runners had been recommended to me by a couple of separate mechanics as extremely reliable vehicles and Bayside is a local dealership. I inquired about a particular one year old 4Runner through the Internet and received an email response followed by a phone call from Joe Lyon. Joe set up a test drive of the vehicle I had inquired about and also a new Highlander so that I could compare the two different models. There was no hesitancy in subsequently bringing out a new 4Runner for comparison purposes which turned out to be the vehicle that I bought. The negotiation process was straightforward and a purchase price was agreed upon in a couple of minutes due at least in part to my internet based research relating to average prices for comparable vehicles. While the subsequent paperwork process was a bit slow due to volume that day, all Bayside personnel were friendly and helpful at all times and I have not hesitated to recommend Bayside and Joe Lyon to others.

My 2001 Nissan Frontier finally gave out on me after 178,000 reliable miles. I had searched for roughly 1 to 2 months for a new or used truck. While passing through Prince Fredrick, I stopped to check out Bayside's lot. I wasn't looking for a Chevy/Toyota/KIA or SCION. I wanted another Nissan. To my surprise Bayside had a well maintained pre-owned(1 owner/carfax)2010 Nissan Titan. Immediately I felt this is the one. Lauren Thompson greeted me with a smile and a handshake, instantly making me feel my business was welcome. Lauren showed me the truck and answered all my questions. Four days later I bought the truck. Two weeks in, I had a small issue. I contacted Paul in the service area and explained my situation. He assured me Bayside could handle it, no problem. We had our first service appt at this dealer last week. They scheduled us within two days of our phone call, got us in early on the day of the appt (we were waiting for the vehicle) and treated us with courtesy and professionalism. Since the type of oil filter was new to my husband, he requested to watch the work being performed. He was allowed not only to watch but also to learn about the system as the technician explained what he was doing the whole time he was doing it. Although this dealership is a drive for us, because of the way we have been treated there, we will continue to make that drive for all service work; they are outstanding!

I totaled my truck a few weeks back and was in search of something front wheel drive to get to and from work etc. My wife and I have gone to several dealerships throughout the Maryland area but found nothing that matched our criteria. What more could you ask for in a not so small town anymore, still having that homegrown hospitality kind of place than feeling like you're wanted for you to be there and the employees share their knowledge with you and not just some other joe trying to make a dime off of you with not a single other care out there. I've been to a few other places in bigger city areas and been pestered not only while I was there but for 2 weeks every single day after... not bayside. They had an appropriate follow up call and kindly asked if I had more questions and said to come back when I could if I did. Not like others who pretend they know my schedule and tell me to come in at a certain time a certain day just because its convenient to them. Bayside has been great to my family for as long as I can remember. They keep you wanting to come back instead of begging. Thanks to everyone for their help I could not be more happy with my decision to purchase my 2012 4runner.

Overall I had a really good experience here. I think my sales person was friendly and was eager to make his sale but not too pushy. I thought the manager was honest and willing to work with me to settle on a price we could both live with. I had friendly service all the way to the end of my purchase, I even found that the gentleman in finance was personable as well. Nobody was too pushy or tried to get me to add on extras that I didn't need or want. I had to come back the next day to turn in the title for my trade and I still found that even though they knew I wasn't there to make a purchase they were still very nice to me.I would certainly return to make a future purchase and I would recommend my friends and family to them.

i cannot say enough good things about our experience with Bayside Toyota. Our salesman was brand new (first day on the job) and he was AWESOME. He had no problem admitting that he didn't know the answer to a question and there was always someone who was willing to help him through the process at every turn. We had about a 20 minute wait for the finance process and he sat with us the whole time and talked about anything and everything. It made the time FLY by and once we got to the finance process we were out the door in a jiffy. in times like these it is so important to support the local businesses and I'm so glad that our drive from Waldorf proved to be so worth it.

Best experience I've had in the 23 years since I purchased my first car. Friendly personable salesperson, and the head salesperson (the one who all the floor salespeople have to go to and get the "price") wasn't a slick salesman like the ones I usually have to deal with when buying a car. One pet peeve of mine, though, is that I don't like it when a dealership sticks their decal on the back of the car. Normally, I specifically request that the dealership to not do this, but I forgot this time and had to remove it myself at home. I just think they should ask first, instead of assuming that everyone does not mind.

I am not the normal car buyer, I did my research, visited other Toyota dealers and had a pre-approved check in my hand ready to make a car deal happen that day. I had a very aggressive bottom line price. I was surprised when I was met with a very curious, efficient, friendly, and very knowledgeable staff. They made me a great offer and I accepted the deal with in 45 minutes of walking into the doors. They had to go to a different dealer to get my 2012 Toyota XLE Hybrid to get the color and interior I wanted therefore the next day my car was waiting for me and with in 25 minutes we were driving away with our new car.I highly recommend this dealership(Bayside Toyota, Prince Frederick, MD) they are fair, honest, and willing to make a deal happen without feeling pressured. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, they answer all of your questions with straight forward answers, upfront and honest about their pricing and bottom line price to make a deal happen. I have heard great things about their service and parts department and if it is anything like their sales department, this is hands down the best Toyota dealership on the east coast!

Bayside was not the first dealership I stopped at to look for my future truck but I wish they would have been because it would have saved me a few hours of driving around. Once I saw my new Tacoma on the lot I fell in love with it. Mr. Smith assured me I could drive off the lot with it that day and I didnt beleive him. I thought for sure it was out of my price range. The experience was overall very good bordering on great. I made a 6hr trip to purchase a vehicle and they were very accomodating. We did our research on the internet, shopping for a Scion, then a Tacoma, and then decided on the RAV4. Internet salesperson Harry Nyguen at Bayside Auto Group worked with me on the phone. We settled on a great price (over the phone, sight unseen) at 7:30pm on the last day of the month. the car was ready for pickup when we got there at 8:50pm. On July 5th, 2012, my wife and I were rear ended and our 2008 Toyota Sienna was totaled. We looked at GMC's, Chevy's, Ford's, but our heart was still hooked on sienna. We were greeted by Frankie Tayman.Throughout our efforts to decide what to buy, Frankie was very helpful. no matterhow many vehicles we thought we might like, he showed them to us, yet, we still came back to the Sienna. The General Manager, Steve, was also instrumental in our decision to go with the Sienna Limited. I did my homework and I payed a visit to 5 different dealerships. I knew what I wanted and the price I was willing to pay. I was pressured to purchase a vehicle in Annapolis from one on Toyotas biggest competitors to the point where I was no longer comfortable being inside that dealership. To make matters worse the General Manager kept me waiting for 4 hours while he was in the back room with the finance person trying to find a way to give me the vehicle at the monthly payment I wanted and at the same time stretching my loan from 5 to 6 years when he could have easily given me the loan for 5 years. This didn't settle well with me as it was clear as day what they were trying to pull. I will never visit with that dealership again. I was discouraged but I continued shopping and checked out Bayside Toyota. I explained to the sales person what options I wanted and he was very honest and gave me the deal that I wanted without any hassle. I highly recommend Baysid Toyota

He introduced himself and we proceeded to discuss the vehicle, options, safety, etc... We went for a test drive, which sold me on the vehicle. Upon returning from the test drive, Nate took the time to show me the many features of the vehicle. I then went inside and was introduced to Steve Thompson, General Sales Manager to discuss price, pretty much no haggle. Mike Paolino asked what I was looking for in a new car. He listened to my description of my driving habits and was so knowledgeable about the Prius and its features that I felt confident that I could get the car that met my needs without additional features. I was extremely pleased with the amount the dealership gave me for trading in my 2003 Corolla, which I also bought new at Bayside and thought I got a good deal. At Bayside, they listened and they negotiated a fair price for the trade in, so I got the price I wanted for the Prius I wanted. Their service is excellent too. I took my Corolla to Bayside for most service despite the fact that I have to drive 40 miles out of my way to do it. I plan to continue that practice for my Prius.

After visiting another Toyota dealership in Southern Maryland and walking around the lot for 30+ minutes and not receiving any acknowledgement of even being there, we chose to drive 40 minutes to Bayside where upon exiting our trade in, we were promptly greeted by Robert Smith (I prefer to have the opportunity to tell a salesman that I am just looking as opposed to being completely ignored). We told Robert what we were looking for and he showed us and explained the package options available. Once we chose our vehicle, the dealership promply arranged for a dealer trade with another dealership and had our new purchase ready for delivery in under 24 hours. Robert Smith was very knowledgeable of the product line we were looking for, patient with our questions and demands, and even had a sense of humor making the buying process more relaxing and enjoyable. I feel that due to his knowledge of the vehicle we were looking for, we couln't have received a better deal or better experience. I would highly recommend that anyone looking for a Toyota or Scion at least visit Bayside Toyota Scion in Prince Frederick Maryland.

In the beginning we had a misunderstanding. I did not get the color or model that I wanted. The owner made it all up to me by giving me a longer warranty. I was very grateful for this and so I can only say that in the end I left very happy. I learned a lesson, however. The next time I will WAIT until what I really wanted comes in. I was told by the sales person, Mike, that the color I wanted would never come in. When I went back a week later, there were three white cars on the lot for last. So that made me very sad. I took the grey car the week before and didn't really ant a grey car. But like I said Steve, the manager made me a happy camper in the end.

Karen was quite accommodating for our test drives. She shared information about both vehicles, and allowed us to make a decision that was appropriate for us.At no time did we feel pressured or in any way obligated to purchase a vehicle at this dealership. That influenced our decision greatly. The entire process from start to finish was much better than we have experienced at other dealerships in the past. It was quite pleasant and we would certainly recommend Bayside Toyota and Karen Gardiner to our friends and family.

Robert Smith was polite, courteous, friendly, and helpful towards us and knowledgeable about the vehicles. He listened to what we wanted and then helped us find the perfect car for our family of 4 (plus 2 dogs). He was patient and did not rush or pressure us. The general manager, Steve Thompson, was also very helpful and knowledgeable. A few neighbors have purchased cars from this dealership and they have told us good things about the people and the cars there. We do not buy cars very often (the one we traded in was an 8-year-old Saturn and our truck is 13 years old); so before going to the dealership, we were dreading the process. But when we went and met Robert, we were pleasantly surprised and found the experience quite positive, and now we have a fantastic new car (Venza) parked in our driveway! Also, one of my neighbors told me that when the car that she purchased from Bayside Toyota had trouble, they were easy to work with, repaired the car, and even gave her a loaner. They are like a no-hassle, no-pressure Saturn dealership. I would highly recommend Robert Smith at Bayside.

My fiance and I went in only to inquire a car with no plan on purchasing a vehicle until May at the very least. However, once we met with everyone, took a test drive, and were offered a very incredible deal - we realized that we could not leave without the car we chose. Everyone worked hard to make sure that we would get the best deal ever. Everyone was friendly and very personable. We left with our new car knowing that we had the best deal ever. We plan to send the word out about this dealer!

Karen Gardiner made the car buying experience easy. She did not rush me and encouraged me to figure out what I really wanted in a vehicle. She cheerily went on test drives with me. When I told her I wasn't going to be ready to buy for a year, she accepted it and did not harrass me. She still took the time to tell me about the vehicles I was interested in. When I decided to buy a car after only a month, I came in and she completed all the paperwork very quickly. The dealership was great in that they did not make me wait forever like some dealerships when I was buying my Toyota. We reached agreement on the final price quickly and the price was what I wanted to pay. I felt relieved to not have to sit around for hours while management decided on the final price. Management negotiated very quickly to a fair price. For this reason alone, I would go back to this dealer the next time I buy a car.
