We've been to Beck Toyota 3 times now. Once to buy our sienna then again when my wife's mother needed a car. This time our experience was just as good. Trent Purdue helped us this time and was a great help. He was very professional. Each time we've gone here the sales staff feels like they're there to help you purchase a vehicle not try and talk you into buying one. Trent was was another example of this. Their used vehicles always have the price visible and are cleaner than some places new cars. Oh and the finance guys have been great each time.

The salesman was honest and showed me the car I wanted. At no time while showing me the vehicle did he interrupt my process of checking it out; he answered every question I had and added any necessary information as a follow-on. He didn't rush me or badger me with needless banter. When I pointed out a few concerns, he made note of them and explained how the Toyota Certified warranty would interact with the concerns I had at the time. When the time came for him to evaluate my sports car, he did not take it for a joyride in his evaluation; he went directly to his manager and asked them to obtain a value for the vehicle from a dealer who handles that make/model of car and came back to me with a figure. Unfortunately, it was not where I wanted to be so I did not finish the transaction, but the salesman did not try the usual high pressure tactics or try to hold on to my keys (a tactic I've encountered before) to keep me from leaving. He respected my time, shook my hand, and wished me well. For that reason alone I will call him first if I decide to purchase a Toyota.

This last time we were looking to replace a vehicle for our daughter after one was lost in and accident. Beck didn't have what we were looking for at the time we stopped in. My daughter and her husband did the hard part. They found a Toyota Highlander at Beck Toyota in the price range we had in mind. I met Jesse Spears of the dealership who showed me the vehicle and the features. No pressure. I felt like the price was fair considering the great condition of the used car, I agreed to buy the car and Derek Kemmerlin explained extended warranty options. No pressure again. Sales representative Derik Wilkerson, a very patient sales rep explained the features in detail. This dealership has class.

Not the best experience - met with Garry and was looking for a used suv. Was nice and friendly but didn't offer much knowledge about the truck and once we sat down to buy he lied and said they don't haggle on price but then before we left he lowered the price, so I guess they do negotiate. He also told us they messed up the price and it should be priced a lot higher which I didn't believe. Just your typical bad used car buying experience.

One of the biggest things I hate about going car shopping is all the typical pressure you get from salespeople. Trent was the opposite of that. He calmly asked if we had questions but never tried to push a sale on us. His communication was professional and excellent. He was also very accommodating with his time when we stayed rather late (on July 4th, no less!) and for when we needed to reschedule some services we purchased at the last minute.Derek, the financial rep, was also very helpful and explained answers thoroughly to any questions we asked (again, late in the evening on July 4th).

He helped us get our beautiful car! I like to support local business. I had the opportunity to wait on Mr. and Mrs. Beck years ago when they used to dine at the restaurant where I worked.. They were generous. kind , down to earth people. So when I decided to look around for a car I went to Beck Toyota. I went on a Sunday to browse the lot, and found a used car that I was interested in. I called the dealership on the following Wednesday and was connected to a salesperson named Melissa. In just four short hours I was leaving the dealership in a brand new Toyota !!!! I was offered a great interest rate and a payment I could afford.

I have read several great reviews regarding Trent Purdue and I totally agree that he is a no pressure salesman that really listens. I wasn't in a hurry to purchase a car but since I had 220,000 miles on my 2007 Corolla I had been looking off and on for about a year. I decided to stop by Beck Toyota because of their great reputation and just wanted to see what they had in stock. I was looking at a variety of cars when Trent came up to me and at the time was looking at the Rav4. I love everything about the RAV4 except that it would be more money than I wanted to spend and I would be losing the great gas mileage that I was used to. I was so impressed with Trent because he did not encourage me to move up to a larger more expensive vehicle. He found out that I really loved the Corolla I've been driving, which was the 2nd Corolla I have had in a row. He told me that he never encourages people to purchase a vehicle larger than what they really need. I couldn't imagine a salesperson encouraging me not to be extravagant. He helped me find the perfect car for me. It was exactly the color I wanted, low mileage, and had the extras I really enjoy. Not to mention it was a certified used car with a 1..9% interest rate. I couldn't believe how fast and easy the process was and Trent was even caring enough after the sale to spend extra time explaining all the new features of the car to me and connected my phone to the Bluetooth system. You can tell he really cares and wants you to leave happy with the entire process and I was. Derek Kemmerlin also made the finance part of the sale easy as well.

Salesman had the car we were interested in out front and ready for my wife and I to test drive when we got there. We were limited on time and let the salesman know this up front, ( I had to be at work in just a short period of time ). We took a short test drive that included a Q and A session, and when we got back we were ready to finalize the purchase. Let me stop here and note that our first contact was by email, and we found this very helpful for getting the ball rolling. We were able to let the salesman know what we wanted to pay for this vehicle, and so our first sit down was more like the final negotiations, and we came to an agreement very quickly. All in all I found this vehicle purchase to be stress free!

Stopped in Beck Toyota and looked at the USED car side, I was really just there playing around and kill time (we need another car but didn't think we could afford what we WANTED right now), We found an SUV that has so much more than we thought we wanted, we LOVE our new(to us) Honda Pilot, got it for a price that was well within our budget with a Sales guy that was fantastic! After some friendly discussion we understood their reasoning and got a small ajustment. We still wanted to think about it overnight and the deal was held until we were able to go home and think it over. Spending 5 hours at a dealership is not ideal but it was partly because they were so busy which indicates they are soing something right! My certified used vehicle was not detailed to my standards but Derik talked with them and they were able to more thoroughly clean it before I took it home.

I had been looking into purchasing a Toyota Tundra 1794 but couldn't find one on a lot to actually take a look at. I already had the financing in place and then found that there was one available at Beck Toyota. When I called, I didn't tell them I was already financed because I didn't want to be 'pressured' into anything. I spoke with a salesman named Trent on the phone and he said there was one right off the truck and he'd get it out for me to look at, so I made my 30 minute drive down to the dealership. As soon as I got there, I was greeted by Trent and he was awesome! He was very knowledgable and as I looked all through the truck he was very patient as I asked questions. I left the lot and thanked him for taking the time to allow me to go through the truck. After thinking more for a few days, I called back and spoke with Trent. I went back to the dealership and Trent handled everything for me. I also wanted to get an add-on dual exhaust system and TRD sway bar. Trent ordered the parts and got them installed in a very timely manner. I also wanted the windows tinted and a tonneau cover. Trent also assisted me in getting those taken care of before picking the truck up. I will DEFINITELY be coming back to this dealership and hope to work with Trent again. Although, I have a feeling he's going to continue to move up the ladder due to his attitude. In addition to working with Trent, when I went to the financing department I worked with Derek. I came prepared with questions and he did a great job with his explanations. Again, he was another associate for Beck with an awesome attitude.Overall, I would say my experience at Beck Toyota was outstanding and I will definitely refer others here. There are other dealerships closer to my side of town, however this was worth the drive!

On March 24th Thursday, I decided to do a preview for purchasing a pre-owned 2014 Toyota Corrolla LE, and choose three dealerships (West Side, East Side, and Southside). My first visits took place at the West and East Side Toyota Dealerships, and I was beyond disappointed in their customer service and Sales profesionals, Both dealership Sales Professionals did not take time to listen to what I was looking for, and they were only interested in pushing a sale for a 2016 Toyota Corolla LE. Needless to say, I thought to myself I will not be returning to either dealership. Then as it is said, Three times a Charm, and Save the Best for last is exactly what happened when I arrived to Beck Toyota and meet Ed Freeman Pre-owned Sales Professional. I spoke with Ed on the phone ( as I did with the other dealerships), and he was the only one who sent me an email with a long list of cars that matched my search before I arrived to the dealership. Ed actually heard what I was looking for, and provided Best Customer Service ever!! Not once did Ed try to sell me a 2016 model like the other dealerships! My excellent customer service continued with Steve Rose (Financing Dept) who also provided beyond excellent customer service. I was not planning to purcahse a car that day but I was blessed to be able to purchase a 2015 Toyota Corrlolla LE (Certified, Extended Warranty 100,000 miles, and fabric/paint protection) for an excellent price. On Feb.24 my 2011 4-Runner would not start. Luckily, I was home, so I called the service department atBeck Toyota and spoke with Greg Rounds. He asked if I could get the vehicle to the dealership, so Icalled a wrecker service for delivery. Within 1 hour of receiving the vehicle I got a call from Greg andhe said the starter would have to be replaced. It would be ordered and delivered in the morning. Heasked if I needed a car to use (which I didn't) and said that he would keep me informed on the repairstatus. The next morning at 1000 I received a call from Greg again saying my truck was ready to bepicked up. Kudos to Greg and the rest of the maintenance department for making this as painless aspossible. I have been researching the 2015 Scion xb model on line for about two months, comparing pricing and selections. Beck Toyota had the best of both! The hardest part for me was finding the time to drive to the dealership. Two sales professionals assisted me in my purchase-Jeff Casner and Todd Godan. Mr. Stephen Langston was an excellent salesman. He answered all questions and was very professional. My problem was with Derek Kemmerlin. I did not like his " Hard Sale" for your extended warranty. After his sales pitch I thought of cancelling the deal. His quote " I have 14 technicians busy repairing electrical problems". I have owned a Toyota the last 12 years and have never had a problem but after talking to him I started questioning Toyota quality. If I were running your dealership I would leave the sales pitches to the salesman out front, they have more tact.

Stephen Langston greeted us when we arrived at 5pm on Saturday, when they close at 6pm, and was calm, helpful, and gave us no pressure at all during the process to lease a 2015 Sienna. We were there for 3 hours between all the paperwork and dealing with Finance, and Derek Kemmerlin was also very patient and friendly. We went to Beck because it was the closest Toyota dealership to where we live other than the one in our home town of Bloomington, but we're not fond of the local dealership. I'm glad we went to Beck! Classy place and classy people.

Summary: Trent Purdue went above and beyond for me. He was informed and ready to answer any questions for this, my first dealer purchase. I took a long time in considering the purchase, but Trent never pressured, manipulated, or misled me. The car was in wonderful condition overall, and even after I had signed the paperwork, Trent was taking a few extra minutes to see if he could address one minor problem that I had said I was willing to deal with myself. It was a bit of a drive for us to purchase from Beck Toyota/Scion (coming from Muncie), but Trent made it worth it. When our other car needs replacing, Trent will be my first call. I also worked briefly with Steve Rose in Finance, who was engaging, helpful, and personable. Instead of just walking me through the documents and getting all my signatures, he slowed down and explained things, answered my questions, and expressed interest in me as a person, not just as a paying customer.

I walked in and was immediately met by Todd Godan. Very professional, told him what I wanted, he listened to me, offered his advice and did not do any high pressure sales. I told him I was interested in a Toyota Rav4 or Tacoma and he said I would be better off with the Rav4. We went for a test drive, I asked if it came in a different color and he told me yes and I would have it that evening. I went back the next morning, met with the finance guy, Steve Rose, and drove out with a new Rav4. Todd took the time to explain all the new gadgets and what they all did because I have never had a car with all this on. He told me if I had any questions, to call him. I purchased a certified pre-owned Prius. Supposedly it had been through a thorough 160 point inspection. But there was no sticker on the window and the car had not been cleaned properly.On the drive home the heater fan made so much noise the steering wheel actually vibrated. Then I noticed the right front parking light was not working.How could a dealership claim to have inspected this vehicle when it was not cleaned, the heater fan was malfunctioning, and a light did not work? I had to return the car for all repairs, which were satisfactorily completed; but I have a very uneasy feeling about other unknowns about this certified car.

After casually browsing for a car for over two years, we needed a car after one of ours stopped working. We looked at countless dealerships and all different brands, and we settled on the Camry SE. Living on the southwest side, browsing at Beck Toyota was a natural decision. We drove around the lot on a Sunday (so as to not be "hassled"), and we saw a car we wanted to take for a spin. Dave Langston, our salesman, was knowledgeable and not at all pushy. We took a couple of days to make our decision, during which, all of our questions were answered either by phone or e-mail. When we came back to buy the car, we asked to drive it again. Dave had no issue with that, so off we went. Steve Rose, the finance man, was equally great! He explained things well (and quickly, which was really fantastic), and he asked for quotes from several different banks in order to get us the best interest rate. Although we ended up paying more than we wanted, we felt as though we got a fair price for the quality of car we bought. Timewise, from the start of our 2nd test drive to getting the keys in our hands, the whole process took about 2 hours. Thanks, Dave and Steve!

This is the 4th car I have bought from Beck Toyota in Indianapolis. The 2nd car I have bought from Trent Purdue. I purchased a 2007 Rav4 back in April of 2014 and just did not feel the same about it at the beginning of November. Knowing I had quite a bit of negative equity in the car I went in and talked to Trent. He was up front and honest with me from the start, telling me it may be a little difficult because of the negative equity I had on the Rav4. He proceeded to show me exactly what I had come to look at which was a 2012 Certified Camry. After looking at the one I had expressed interest in I didn't love it. He then showed me one that me and my wife fell in love with. It had a few more miles on it but was cheaper and at the time more economical. We were able to get approved for the loan and left with the car that night. The best thing about Trent and quite frankly, everybody at Beck, is they don't try and talk you into getting something more expensive just to make more money off of you. Trent was honest about everything we asked him. During the test drive there was a sound coming from the blower fan and he thought maybe it was just a leaf. While we were in the process of financing they pulled the car in and sure enough there was a leaf in the fan. Easy fix. Trent genuinely knows about cars; not just enough to pull the wool over the eyes of the customer.

Our family had a great experience at Beck Toyota. My husband was in an automobile accident just over a month before and was unable to test drive/drive his new car we were shopping for. Trent and one of his service techs personally drove the car to our home and dropped it off for us. We bought a 2015 new Toyota 4runner SR5 Premium from Jesse Spears at Beck Toyota in Indianapolis this week. We showed up on the used lot possibly interested in a used 4Runner we saw parked on the corner. Quickly finding out it didn't meet our needs, Jesse walked us over to the new side and found us the perfect new vehicle within the same price range within 5 minutes. We had seen it online and asked him if they were still available. We test drove the best one and were sold! We had done our research prior to know what would work for us and what wouldn't. We already had our financing secured elsewhere and Steve, the finance manager never pressured us to switch over like many dealerships will pressure you into doing. Even with someone else's bank loan, he still took the time to explain different payment options and answered our questions that we had about gap insurance for a new car. We are first time new car buyers and we had a lot of questions they both answered very kindly. They sold us the extended bumper to bumper warranty (7yr-100,000 miles) for a very fair price as well as a nice Ziebart package that prayed down the outside of our vehicles and our interior seats and guaranteed them for 10 years. We have kids and so that was a welcomed add-on and a very fair price! Toyota also gives 25,000 mile or 2 year free maintenance with Toyota Care as well- so we won't even be paying for oil changes for 2 years! We really have confidence that our new car will keep us repair free and on the road without hassles. Our last car was constantly being towed and repaired (wasn't a Toyota). We believe if our car does have troubles, they will take care of it as promised in the warranty. They also provide rental car with our warranty during overnight repairs. We can use the warranty at any Toyota dealership in the country to service and repair our car. After returning the next day with our check from the bank to pick it up and complete the deal, the car was clean as a whistle and Jesse put a full tank of gas in it for us to be on our way. He offered to go over anything in the manual with us regarding the car's functions and explained when we needed to return for our free/included service. He even set up our first appointment and introduced us to the parts and service department so we would know where to go. It was the most pain-free car buying process we ever had experienced and never felt that anything we didn't want was forced on us. When we declined something, they moved on and only went into detail on the things we wanted to buy that would meet our family's needs. We knew what we were looking for when we arrived, and hadn't been able to find it elsewhere. Jesse provided it immediately and we felt he wasted none of our time or his. Fast, efficient and exactly what we wanted! Even on a Friday night/Saturday morning with our bank being closed Friday night when we originally picked out the vehicle, we had the deal finished in less than 18hours. We felt the time was spent on the things that were important to us, and not on trying to sell us things we didn't want or need like some car dealerships will do. We recommend Jesse from Beck Toyota! He won't waste your time on things you don't want and he will gladly take his time and thoroughly explain the things that are important to your needs. We'd send family or friends to him in a heart beat.

We live in Brazil, IN, but after talking with Josh we decided it would be worth the drive to check things out.Todd Godan was the salesperson everybody hopes to find, but rarely do. He was knowledgeable, friendly, very patient with us and never pushy. He was willing to do whatever he could to help get us what we wanted. His manager, Jess, was willing and able to work the numbers and get us the deal we needed. The salesman & sales/fiance manager treated us with respect even though it was late on Saturday when we arrived to look at what kind of deals they had for us. They immediately offered us a cold drink which made us more comfortable! After gathering our financial information Stephen Langston showed us several models to fit our budget & we settled on a 2015 Corolla! Derek Kemmerlin explained two different options to finance our payments based on 60 or 72 months & we asked about the warranties available. He did some more figuring & got us a great deal for 72 months with a warranty to match! I researched car after car online using a few small parameters. When I received a list of cars that I wanted to test drive and choose from, almost every one was from one of the many RaySkillman dealers. While his cars come with an additional small warranty even if no other warranty is offered, I could not pass up the deal for the Hyundai Santa Fe I bough with my wife. When comparing the prices and features, each other dealership said I was crazy not to pass up the deal. So the quality for a low price coupled with a knowledgeable salesman made my car purchase easy! When getting a loan from the bank, Steve was able to lower his original finance percentage below an offer from our own personal bank. The sake then became a no-brainer. We were pleased with the timely manner in which a salesperson approached us, got us into a vehicle to test drive, and shared his knowledge of the vehicle. The salesperson was Dave K., he was very friendly, understanding, and knowledgeable of the vehicle and its components. We got to the dealership late on a Saturday, around 6:30, and they were closing at 7. Dave K. made it known that he was in no rush at all and wanted to answer all of our questions, even if it was an information only basis. He gave my girlfriend and I plenty of time to talk over our options, and even helped us with some finance information. The finance manager, Derek, was very friendly, and made it a very pleasant experience. He went over all of the paperwork and answered all of our questions. It seemed like a very good group of employees that worked together, late on a Saturday, when we know they all had other things to do after work, they helped us finish the paperwork, the detailers cleaned the car, inside and out, and had us out the door in a timely manner. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking for a new Toyota or a Scion, the dealership is great, from the salespeople, to the finance group, managers, and detailers.

I'm not sure what happened to Beck's customer service or timely service since the last time I was there (Jan 2015) thru my recent visit (July 2015). I had an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. It took over 1.5 hours! At no time, did anyone come out to let me know the status of my car. In fact, I had to inquire what was taking so long. They appear to have have plenty of people working 'out front', but not enough 'in back'. When I checked out, I mentioned to the cashier that I had a comment about how long the service took. She said she would let the service advisor know (who knows if she did). However, no apologies or even a simple 'thank you' when I paid. Since I've bought my car there 10 years ago, I've been going to Beck's loyally for for service. Today, though, was my last visit. Please train your employers about basic customer service, and please maintain the timely service that is expected! It really still does matter! To note, I have no complaints with the oil change or tire rotation I received, or past services.

I had a great buying experience at Beck Toyota. I drove a couple hours to take a look at a used Scion FR-S and Trent Purdue was more than helpful throughout the whole process. Steve Rose was also very helpful and informative with all the paperwork involved. There was no pressure and I was treated with respect from the moment I walked through the door until the moment I drove away in my Scion. I received a fair deal and got the perfect car for me, what more can you ask for. If you're in the market for a new or used car, I highly recommend checking them out.

We stopped in at Beck's on Memorial Day to look at a new Camry. Todd Godan approached us in the lot and asked us if we had any questions. After a short time with Todd, he told us he would be available if we had any additional questions. We liked that he gave us time alone to discuss our potential purchase - never felt pressure to buy. We met with Todd a second time with questions about the differences between the SLE and XLE models. Todd was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. His expertise was a key factor in our decision to buy the XLE. The entire experience from start to finish was positive, which was no surprise since this is our fourth vehicle we have bought from Beck. Still drive the 96 Camry and it still runs great as do the 2001 Sienna and 2005 Camry.

We stopped on a Saturday to price some vehicles. A salesman approached us and chatted for a bit. He explained the different levels of the vehicles on the lot and then left us to look around. When we went back two days later to test drive, the dealership was very accommodating in letting us test as many vehicles as we wanted to be sure we got what we were looking for. Everyone through the entire process was very pleasant and friendly. I would go back to Beck if I were buying another Toyota.

I stopped in at Beck knowing exactly what I wanted, a used Camry hybrid. Derik listened to what I was looking for. I test drove a non-hybrid that day. He called me a week later to let me know a hybrid came in to the dealership. I now drive that Camry and enjoy it. I would highly recommend Derik and Beck Toyota to everyone.

I came into Beck Toyota on Saturday morning, 5/23, with my dad to look for a "new" car. I'd been driving my 16th birthday present Ford Mustang my whole life, and despite my strong attachment to my car and wish that she would live forever, she was presently on her death bed after 15 years. Derik Wilkerson took the time to let my dad and I test drive a couple cars, and was very understanding when we told him that we needed to look at some other cars at different dealerships before I made my ultimate decision. He was not pushy for a sale that morning, and I respect him greatly for that, unlike the other car salesmen I would encounter later that day.My dad and I returned to Beck that afternoon after looking at other cars I decided that the 2012 Toyota Camry SE that I had test-driven with Derik that morning was MY car It just spoke to me! It was a little higher than what I originally planned to pay for a car, but my dad and I both agreed that it was still a great deal.Derik was also great the second time around After knowing he made a sale, he still took a lot of his time to answer my questions and was very attentive to me and my anxieties over such a big life purchase. It seemed like he understood how serious I take such purchases, and he was just very kind throughout all my nervous banter.Even when we were paid up and getting ready to drive my "new" car home, Derik made sure she was cleaned and had gas before I took her to her new home.I would recommend Derik and his genuine kindness to anyone looking for a new Toyota (Tom and Steve were also great).I felt good knowing Derik was going to make a commission on my purchase. I hope it was substantial (he deserves it!), and I hope he will be able to spoil that new baby of his with some of his earnings.

My wife and I had an 97 Camry being repaired at Beck Toyota. The repairs were going to cost more than we wanted to spend. It was time to replace the Camry with a newer car. We had bought (another car) a Prius from Beck Toyota six years ago and it is still running great. As soon as my wife and I got the cost for the repair bill on the Camry we decided to meet at back Toyotas used car lot. We met with Trent, and started looking at our RAV4's, which we were thinking about switching with the Camry about eight months further down the road. We knew exactly what we wanted and trying to help us pick through the inventory that he had on the lot plus another car that was going to be delivered to the lot soon. It was the best sales experience we've EVER had buying a new or used car. In addition to wanting to buy a replacement, we wanted to expedite the sales process before the busy holiday weekend. We took a ride in a RAV4 on the lot, asked about other similar RAV4s and Trent made us aware of another RAV4 due the next day to Beck Toyota. It was going to be the red RAV4 that we drove or a blue one that was yet to arrive at the lot... But we knew we were buying from Trent and Beck Toyota again! Trent was the PERFECT salesman! Helpful to guide us through inventory options and any questions we had on trade in of our old car or the RAV4 we were looking to buy! We were so sure about purchase, that we started the documentation process the same day (within 1-1/2 hours of arrival on lot) and stayed in touch with him all during the next day waiting for the arrival of the other RAV4. We even had negotiated the final price on either car ahead of time, so we could expedite the sale! The other RAV4 was delivered to the lot about 8pm. We met Trent, took a quick drive, and chose that vehicle. Trent had some pare work started, and ANOTHER GREAT GUY... (Finance manager) Steve Rose stayed late to help us finalize the sale, add some other value add options... And ultimately drive home in the newer RAV4 that night! (We remember Steve who financed our Prius years earlier at Beck). We will attend the used car orientation at Beck (we remember the new car version)... And could not be happier! BEST and most expedient sales process EVER!!! Thanks Trent (and Steve)!

I stopped at Beck Toyota to consider what our next car purchase might be. We have been Toyota owners for some time. We had a 2010 Venza that we had been very happy with. However, I wanted a car that traveled better on long trips.Dave Kellar listened to my needs and immediately recommended the 2015 Avalon Hybird. We wanted a quiet, smooth ride but did not want to go into the full sized crossover class of car. The Avalon Hybrid is an unbelievable vehicle. It is, by far, the most comfortable vehicle I have ever driven or owned. The hybrid technology and the safety technology is further advanced that I even knew was possible.We have had the car about a month. After having driven about 2000 miles, we experience 38-40 mpg at all times. Road mpg is 38-39, town mileage is 39-40. A very stiff headwind will drop it to 35-36.We traded our Venza and felt that having it always serviced at Beck created a higher trade in value.Thank you Dave Kellar, Beck and Toyota for a fine buyer experience and a fine automobile. I ASKED HIM TO MAKE SURE THE TRUCK I WAS LOOKING AT DID NOT GO ANYWHERE THAT I WANTED TO PURCHASE IT. HE TOLD ME THE TRUCK HAD BEEN THERE FOR A WHILE AND SAID THAT THE EXPENSIVE TRUCKS LIKE THAT DID NOT MOVE FAST. I SAID OK BUT PLEASE MAKE SURE IT DOES NOT GO ANYWHERE. I TALKED TO THE SALES PERSON A COUPLE OF TIMES VERY FRIENDLY. I WAS TRYING TO GET THE PAYMENT WHERE I COULD AFFORD IT. MADE IT VERY CLEAR I WANTED THE TRUCK. I had taken my 2000 Toyota Camry to Beck Toyota Scion for all of the maintenance needs for the last few years. When it came time to buy a new car Beck was our first and only stop. Jerry Drexler was very helpful from the start. He explained all of the car's bells and whistles. He didn't try to sell us on anything bigger or better. He also told us about a college graduate discount. Steve Rose was also very helpful. He explained all of the documents clearly and thoroughly. Overall, my first car buying experience was a good one. Beck has great service and I know I can count on them to take care of my new car.

We had seen the Toyota Corolla on the internet and they set up an appt. to see the car with Trent Purdue. He had the car all ready to go when we got there. I needed a new van to go on vacation at the end of the week and Stephen Langston went above and beyond to get me into an awesome van at the price I said I could pay, There was no back and fourth, no dickering just an honest sale. I forgot to check to see if there was a DVD player for the kids (wife would've killed me) and there wasn't. Stephen went into action and made it happen the next day and I made the deadline to drive my family to Florida. We will go back to Stephen and Beck for our next vehicle for sure!

My husband and I met with Gary Ring who greeted us on the lot when we arrived. Gary was extremely helpful, wasn't pushy and insistent. He really seemed to care about what we wanted and trying to help us get what we really wanted. Gary was very accommodating when it took longer to process things in the other departments by offering us beverages and asking if there was anything else needed. We met with Steve Rose in Finance and our experience with him was great also. He was very straightforward, nice and easy to do business with. Beck Toyota proved to be an excellent experience for me. I traded my 2006 Toyota Tacoma for a 2010 Toyota RAV4. My preliminary shopping was done via internet at several Toyota dealerships in the Indianapolis area. Beck's web site was user-friendly and the information on each vehicle was complete. More importantly, the Beck representative I dealt with, Mr. Trent Purdue, was professional, courteous, informative, and responsive to my concerns and questions. The price negotiation process was likewise transparent and professional. Finally, the administrative side was a breeze. The F&I representative, Steve Rose, had all the paper work timey prepared and explained the details appropriately. Overall, it was an excellent experience compared to other dealerships I have made purchases from. I will give Trent Purdue and the Beck team an A+.

I've been driving manual transmission cars for 30+ years, I know how to shift gears and I don't ride the clutch. A throw out bearing went out at 33,000 miles and they had to replace the entire clutch. Said it was a "wear and tear" item like brakes. xxxxxxxxx. I've even driven junk American cars for 100,000 miles without a clutch going out. This was my first Toyota (a Yaris) and it will be my last. I'm going back to Honda after this car is paid for.

I have purchased five cars from this dealership, always has been a pleasant experience. There was no pressure to buy the "add-ons" after the purchase. I always felt that I got a fair deal. My wife and I purchased a Mitsubishi Montero Limited. Aside from Tom Higgins, the experience was very good. Our salesman, Steve White, did an excellent job. Steve is knowledgeable, but he has a way of doing business without applying the type of pressure that can sometimes make the car buying experience sour. On the other hand, Higgins is obnoxious and nearly caused us to do business elsewhere. I too work in sales, and I can say this in all honesty, Higgins is one of the least proficient salespersons I have ever met. I recently came out of a bankruptcy. I had fear of how my husband and I would be treated. All the employees at Beck Toyota treated us with care and respect. Trent explained step by step what was needed of us. My husband and I was fearful of getting back into a loan after just coming out of bankruptcy. Our finance guy was very kind and helpful. What impressed me the most, our sales rep Trent Purdue had plans with his family the night we were coming to work out numbers to purchase the vehicle, he cancelled his plans and came into work and stayed until 8:45 that evening to assist us through this process. He did not appear rushed, he was engaged in us through the entire process. We will definatlely refer Beck Toyota to friends and family

I traded in a 2001 Toyota Prius for a 2003 Toyota Camry. After being used to the MPG the Prius gets I'm sad to report a 6 cylinder Toyota Camry was a disappointment as far as the MPG's However, when I expressed my disappointment to Trent he suggested a Toyota Yaris which gets 34 in the city and 39 on the highway. He didn't have any used ones in stock however, he got a 2007 Toyota Yaris in on a trade. It was not only what I was looking for it was RED my favorite and dealing with you used cars you don't always get what you want but today I did. I hope this will help the trips to the gas station less often. Thanks Trent !!!!!

We had just begun our search for a Rav 4 and stopped in Beck Toyota merely to browse. We were greeted by Garry Ring who showed us the selection of Rav 4s on the lot. Dealer representative Dave Langston was very professional. We gave our price and car must haves and he showed us only those vehicles. He didn't try to push us to more expensive cars that he knew we wouldn't want. There was some back and forth, as expected, but we felt we got a fair price and a beautiful car. We did not feel we were getting the run around at all. We had never bought a car from a dealership thinking the prices were too inflated compared to buying from private parties. Thankfully, my husband urged us to go to Beck Toyota and I was proven wrong!

When I knew I had to purchase a new car, I thought to myself, "Crap, I hate car salesmen." I went to Beck Toyota figuring I'd be fast talked by someone into a car that was OK. That's not what happened. Derik Wilkerson walked outside and greeted us. We began talking and the entire conversation was based off of what I was saying, there was no push for a more expensive model, there was no lying. It was a simple conversation, he asked what I wanted, and he delivered! If you go to Beck Toyota, you need to talk to Derik. He will ask you what you want, and if he has it, he will show you. You won't feel pushed, he will not make you feel dumb, he gives you what you want, and only what you want. My wife and I worked with Trent, doing everything we could online from 100 miles away. Trent was wonderful! He answered promptly, and worked with us to find terms we agreed with. Our actual time at the dealer was only about an hour because everything was already agreed to when we arrived! Once we took delivery, we noticed a console missing. They have the best Customer Service Reps, service department, products and truly care about their customers. In working with Derik Wilkerson, he was concerned about our needs, and not what we "could" afford, as in what we wanted our payments to be and what we had to put down as well. He made it all come through, and even with TOYOTA financing as well, which was a major shock to us, for us not being able to go through a major financing company in the past. In working with Derik Wilkerson, he was concerned about our needs, and not what we "could" afford, as in what we wanted out payments to be and what we had to put down as well. He made it all come through, and even with TOYOTA financing as well, which was a major shock to us, for us not being able to go through a major financing company in the past. Derik was great to work with and was always making sure that we were taken care of, even when it was really out of his control as well, he was still checking on us, and keeping us up to date on what was going on, and where we stood in the process as well.

Yesterday was my lucky day! I worked with Dave Langston on purchasing my new car! I was heartbroken when the transmission went out on my car of 10 years and the idea of a huge car payment and high interest rate scared me but Dave Langston went above and beyond to make sure I got the best deal for me. Thank you Beck Toyota and Aaron Fowler for getting me my new 2014 Camry. I was looking at several pre-owned cars to see which one best suited me. I was real worried about buying used because I am on a tight budget and did not want to have to pay for repairs also, which comes with most used cars. My salesman Aaron showed me several pre-owned Camry's and I found one that I thought I may like for $425 a month. I was real nervous about being able to afford the payment. Aaron then told me that he would like to show me a new one as well. After showing me the new one, I knew it was the car that I wanted but I knew I could not afford it. He then explained to me that I would definitely be able to afford it with my payment being $387. I asked him why he would do that when the rule is there is more $ to be made on a used car than a new. He responded with " I want you to be comfortable with your payment and have the peace of mind of no repairs". I agreed to the payment and signed for my New Camry. I cannot believe that I was going to settle for a used car for a higher payment than I got my new one. Thanks Aaron and Beck Toyota, you guys are awesome.

He advised me that he would have to call me back with the numbers that I had requested. Within 15 minutes he returned my call with the price and payments including sales tax and fees. I agreed that I wanted the Rav4 at the payments that he had quoted and scheduled an appointment with him the next day. When I arrived, I was greeted at the door by Aaron and he advised me the vehicle was gassed and ready and 80% of my paperwork was complete. I spent a total of an hour and 15 minutes at the dealership before I was driving in my new Toyota. This was the easiest, most hassle free car buying experience that I have ever experienced. All my numbers were the exact same when I signed my paperwork and nothing was hidden. I recommend Aaron and Beck Toyota for your next Toyota purchase.

Beck Toyota. Takes the worst dealer award.I go in there with my dodge Grand Caravan as a trade to get a new Toyota corolla. They offer me a low ball offer enough to insult me. I request my van keys they had taken from me to appraise.This is where it gets tricky. I wanted go take my van a s return home.They wouldn't give me my van key. It's like they are hustling and pressuring me and using time delay tactics. I had ask for my keys SEVERAL times. After more than an hour they gave my keys. Their dealings are shady. They are cunning. And low class. Even the manager behaved like donkey's rear. Kept lying to me. They have no interest in correcting their mistakes and earning customer respect.Don't go there. But it you have to, I'm sorry for you. Go prepared, use Truecar.com and other online tools to know what is a fair price and what's the lowest other customers have paid in your area.Though I live in greenwood I went to 38 & Lafayette road and bought my 2013 corolla. My experience was very bitter. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALER TO ANYONE. Stay away from these guys.

I was looking for a new 2013 Rav4 (4x4). I was shopping around and working with various dealerships. I ended up buying at Beck. Here are the reasons : - Competitive pricing : I ended up getting the best deal on the Rav4 with Beck! - Courteous service : We worked with Michael (Luckett) for this purchase. He is a pretty simple, soft spoken person (not what you generally get to see at dealerships). Explained things that he knew with patience. He was never forceful during our conversations. Both me and my wife had a nice time interacting with Mike. - Courteous service (continues) : Once we had decided on which vehicle to purchase, the next step was talking to the finance guy. Tim (in finance) was again soft in his interactions - never forceful or intimidating (I had one experience at other dealership where the guy at the finance was almost bullying us to take the additional packages which we had no interest in). Tim is definitely not like that and was very polite. This is my second interaction with Tim in the last 6 months (previously with my friend who bought his Camry at Beck). Both times, I could see the same politeness in Tim. - Clarity : I've had to deal with dealerships who purposefully are not clear on the available vehicle options (Mudguards, Cross bars on roof rails, Floor mats, etc). I thought Beck was little better in this matter. Overall, we walked out a happy couple. And lived happily ever after ;)

I purchased a 2005 Ford Freestyle Limited from Beck Toyota Pre-Owned sales. The salesman was very nice and the facility was nice. The problem was the vehicle. I asked if the vehicle had any mechanical issues and was assured it did not. I was told the only issue with the vehicle where several minor cosmetic things that I was willing to overlook. Within two days of bringing the vehicle home I was experiencing a screeching noise from under the hood. Thinking it was a serpentine belt issue I brought the vehicle to my local Ford dealership to have it looked at. Initially they thought it was also the serpentine belt. But in the process of removing the belt they discovered that the real issue was the Crankshaft pulley had disintegrated. The pulley alone is $988 dollars. Had I known that this vehicle had this issue I would have stayed far far away from it. The only way you can tell that the pulley is starting to go is from belt noise. When asked why I hadnt heard any belt noise initially. My Ford dealer told me it appeared that copious amounts of belt condition had been applied to quite the belt. At least until the car was off of Beck Toyotas lot. To me that is a deceptive sales tactic to hide the true issues of a vehicle until it has been purchased and it is no longer their problem. When I called Beck Toyota about the issue I was told they could not/would not help me and I should try AutoZone or O'reilly auto parts. So now I have a vehicle that I cannot drive without thousands of dollars in repair costs. Thanks a lot Beck Toyota for selling me a quality used car.

After my husband and son spent three hours at a Kia dealership doing what my husband refers to as the "Dirty Dealer Dance," we decided to look into the used Toyota option. I explained to the salesman, Trent Purdue, on the phone a) what we wanted, b) how high we were willing to go, and c) what our experiences with other dealers had been. I could tell from the beginning that Trent was going to work well with us. He was honest, hard-working, and communicative. He found four vehicles that met our criteria, emailed me the details, then followed up with a phone call assuring the pricing we needed. Just to make sure, I spent the following day trying to get anyone in greater Indianapolis to beat his deal. Not only would no one beat it, they wouldn't come close to meeting it. Of course, they all first, attempted to have us come in, indicating they couldn't give me information until I filled out financing paperwork. When I refused, they did the "Dirty Dealer Dance" promising they could beat Beck's deal. Then they all reneged. Trent showed up that evening (on his day off) to show us the vehicles in person. Once we decided on the deal, we had the most painless write up and financing paperwork EVER. What a wonderful experience. Give Beck a chance. You will be so happy you did!!!!!!!!!

The sales man I worked with was Ed. He was new at that time. He was ok. My complaint is about his manager and the way they do business in General. They took my van to check it out and give me an estimate of how much they can offer for the Trade. Ed came back with papers and showed me the figure. it was $1200. I told Ed, please give my keys, I dont want to deal with you guys. Then his manger comes running and tries to offer me $2,200. I again said please give my keys I dont want to deal. Remember they took my key to drive my car to determine the value. They wouldnt give my key back. They want to keep me there and put pressure and make me accept whateever trade value they offer. Ed Was ok. He had some manners and professionalism. But his manager is rude, un-professional & un-friendly. Finally he gave me the key and said I will never get more than 2200 for my trade.Next day I went to Tomwood Toyota on 38th & Lafayatte Road. I got $3,300 for the Trade. There's more. I spoke to my colleagues at work about my experience with Beck Toyota. Their reaction was "why did you go there?".They had already been there and got the same bitter experience. I will not recomend going to this dealer ship. If you do go there, be careful. Do your research before you go there.

Purchased a new 2012 Toyota Corolla from George Fuller. By far this was the best buying experience I have ever had. No other dealership came close to the selling price of the vehicle. Every person I encountered at the dealership was polite and friendly. At not time did I feel pressured and George was up front during our negotiations and my trade in value. Outstanding customer service. I live in Fishers and plan to have all of my service needs completed by Beck. This means that I will be driving past two other Toyota dealers to reach Beck, but I believe their customer service and commitment to quality will be well worth the longer drive.

My wife and I purchased are first Toyota from them over a year ago, and are experience was one like we had never know. Many people know what it's like to be mugged by the sales staff, or pressured, however to our surprise they waited until we approached them. Adam Griffin was our sales rep who answered our questions, walked us through it from beginning to end, by our side, not passing us off to chase the next sale. Adam was professional & courteous. Adam has since placed my son, and others we've referred in their first Toyota's as well. After talking to Wendell he told me he would hold the Rav, that had not come in to the dealership, for me and that I would be the first one to see it and test drive it. When we met with Mr. Dossett my husband told him we were ready to buy on 2 conditions: 1.Repair the mirror in the side view mirror 2. Have our mechanic inspect itWendell Dossett would not allow us to have it inspected so we left. What a colossal waste of our time. If it can't be inspected by an unbiased mechanic take it off the lot.

After extensively searching the internet, I found the best prices and highest quality of used vehicles at Beck. Being able to view the Car Fax on-line significantly helped me make my choice. While viewing the vehicle at the dealership, I felt that the sales person was very knowledgeable and truthful about the car and all of its features. He was only factual and not pushy at all. I felt very comfortable with him and felt that I was able to reach a very reasonable deal for the car. A couple of things needed to be ordered and he worked closely with me and the Service group to make the process very efficient. I am very pleased with my overall experience and would definitely recommend purchasing a used vehcile from Beck.

'99 Tacoma frame issue buy back. I looked at the Honda Ridgeline, Nissan Frontier and Toyota Tacoma as possible replacement. The Tacoma seemed the best value. I have been a Toyota owner since 1987. In 2003, I purchased an Avalon from George Fuller. I sought George out and purchased my 2011 Tacoma from him. I can think of nothing more to express my satisfaction than that fact.1987 Camry1995 Camry1999 Tacoma2003 Avalon2011 TacomaAll were bought new at Beck Toyota. Hi, I have been a loyal service customer for years because Beck used to have the best service department around. They were quick, friendly, and honest. The last time I took my car in they tried to sell me $1,000 worth of extra unnecessary repairs AND messed up the oil change. Left a big oil stain on my driveway. The easiest thing you can do to a car next to filling it up with gas is changing the oil. One drain plug bolt, that's it. Messed up screwing in one bolt. They also tried to sell my mother-in-law $1,000 worth of unnecessary repairs. I think now that new car sales are down, Beck is trying to make up for the lost income with dishonest service. Since most Toyota customers are professionals and don't know much about cars, they can probably get away with it.

Great experience! We searched online for nearly three months for a used RAV4. Wasn't having much luck so I asked my long time mechanic for a recommendation. He said "try Beck's in Indy". He had a good experience a few years ago. One hour later I was online and found our RAV at Beck's. I got ahold of Wendell right away and he told me the status of the car. A few days later we took a look (couldn't test drive yet) and we put down "earnest" money. We completed the purchase two weeks later when the transmission was corrected and we drove away happy!

I was greated while still in my car in the bitter cold. I had planned to meet with Wendell at a certain time and he was immediately located for me. He quickly showed me the vans I was interested in from browsing the internet. We took a test drive and began the buying/trading process. Wendell explained each step to me and answered all my questions. He promptly answered a follow up question the next day as well. Everything went quite smooth and all the staff were professional and friendly.

Wendell Dossett gained my confidence 5 years ago as being up front, open, honest and truly customer oriented in communicating and interacting with the customer... as a norm, I dread dealing with car sales personnel and consider it a very torturing process - BUT, Wendell and Beck's Customer Service Personnel have had a very favorable impression upon me which has resulted in me reconsidering my perceptions.... do not get me wrong, I still have a very negative perception of sales people, etc... they are 1st cousins of our society and government which translates into people with no morality, integrity, loyalty, etc and who are greedy and only priorities are self serving .... This was the first time I've ever felt FANTASTIC driving off a dealership lot! With every other experience I have had purchasing a car, I've always felt like something underhanded was going on or that I just wasted hours of time. Not this time. Wendell Dossett (at Beck Toyota) went above and beyond my expectations. I first called Wendell when I found the car I was looking for online. I explained to him that I have a two year old and very little free time. Bringing my daughter with me to the dealership while we discussed terms wasnt an option. We covered many of the basic points over the phone and set up a time for me to come in the next morning. Then I threw another curve ball at Wendell I would have less than two hours to get the deal done. From test drive to trade in to signing on the dotted line, Wendell was on it. He was literally running to make sure he had me out in time for my next appointment. He even went out into the rain (heavy HEAVY rain storm) so pull my trade in into the showroom so that I could get my daughters carseat and other items out of the car without getting drenched. He even pulled my new car up for me.And in less than two hours I was driving off the lothumming, smiling ear to ear. The only regret that I have about my experience was not having more time with Wendell. He went into work early and made sure that I was out of there in time. My husband and I learned that our beloved 2006 Prius was declared "totaled" after what we thought was a fender-bender. We learned this a noon on Monday of this week. so off we went to our merry, marry familiar local Toyota dealer. but they had no New Prius cars.We were sad, to say the least. By that time it was after 5 on that fateful Monday. I started googling Toyota showrooms for our state--Indiana, plus Louisville and Cincinnati. I called three Indiana dealers. No Help. The fourth on I dialed was the number for Beck Toyota in Indianapolis. I had easily found on their web page that they had in stock three 2011 Prius II. The man who is Beck's Internet specialist responded. I described our problem: we need a new Prius III ASAP. He said he would call us back within a few minute. He need to look on the lot at a particular car.Within ten minutes we were talking once more. He had a Prius for us. We happily said "yes". We gave him a card number to hold it until the next day. We arrived. The car was waiting. We met Mr Dossett, gave Beck Toyota the money, signed the right papers, and drove it home yesterday early afternoon.We have bought many automobiles over the last 55 years, but this was the easiest and most professional--yet friendly--purchase we have ever made.Congratulations, Beck Toyota, for making what many times has been a horrible event into a trustworthy and comfortable buying experience.

Price was extremely competitive. I live on the north side of Indianapolis and gladly drove to the south side to purchase this car. He always had everything ready to go, so that I avoided having to wait around. He had the test car pulled up and ready to go at the appt time. Probably one of the worst dealerships I have ever encountered. On my deal, I actually had the pleasure of interacting with Mr. Beck in additiona to my sales person. It was the classic "used car" mentality. Initally, I was looking to purchase multiple vehicles. I ended up leasing just one, and even considered canceling that deal. My niece had her car stolen, it was a '98 camry. The insurance company gave her $3,600 for it. We were in a hurry to get another car. On Friday, we went to five different dealerships. We went in with all our cards on the table, telling people exactly what we want, how much money we have, (I had cap of $5,000 in mind). We were looking for a clean, reliable, good gas mileage car. I told every sales person that, and our price cap. Most sales folks really didn't listen to that, and took us to look at cars that obviously didn't qualify for that. It was amazing that after five lots, my conclusion is that most car sales folks didn't listen to our needs, and had an almost pre-planned car to show us... (most didn't even have the snow removed from the car, so we couldn't truly see it---can you imagine that??). I'm talking big-name dealers!! In the interim, we were emailing Wendel at Beck on-and-off, With his emails and phone calls, I could tell that this guy "got it". He heard our needs, and was working on that. He came up with the plan. We were just getting ready to sign for a used car at another dealership, when Wendel called on my cell, and said he's got exactly what we're looking for. Wendel said he has 17 years experience at Beck, ...when he said that, I knew we could trust him with what he's talking about. We we're on 96th and Keystone (a long way away), but decided to drive back to the South side and see it. Wendel hit the nail on the head. When we saw the car, we knew it met all of our expectations, and when we came back from the test drive, we told Wendell that it's a deal. He knew we were in a hurry, he knew we wanted a clean, reliable, good gas mileage car, ...he actually listened. I had to take my niece to work that evening, and we told Wendel we would be by at 10:00 Saturday to pick up the car. Wendell had it all ready the next morning, including all the paperwork, which was all perfectly filled-out. He walked us to the cashier, where we paid the balance, and then he took us to the car, which had been washed/cleaned, temp license plate already on it, and told us about all the features. Appreciated the pics before dealer cleaning so I could get and idea of real / prior owner condition - followed up with post clean up pics also. Wendell worked with me as far as holding the van so I could come in from Cincinnati to look at it - so I didn't loose out on another.Nothing bad to say at all......no pressure, honest and knew / checked into things that I asked for. The service at Beck Toyota was truly great. I started out by viewing the used autos on Beck Toyota's website. The website has ye information I was looking for along with really good photos. After finding a car I was interested in, I called Wendell Dossett. Wendell was very nice and helpful in scheduling a test drive. After completing the test drive, Wendell walked me through the financing options. There was absolutely no high pressure sales tactics. Once a financing option was selected, Wendell completed the sale in a very efficient manner. I found a car on the Beck website that I was interested in. I sent a price inquiry on Sunday, and got a response that evening. I followed up with a call on Monday and was able to arrange a visit. When we arrived, the car had been brought up to the building ready for us to test drive. Wendell is an exceptional salesman and made buying a car a pleasant experience. Overall, the dealership is very professional with a friendly, willing to please staff. Meeting Mr. Beck made the experience even more special. Quality of work on inspection of used vehicles is very poor. I purchased a 2003 Tundra, knowing it had a lot of miles, however they assured me that they did a quality inspection of the vehicle and all it needed was an oil change. 400 miles later Check engine light appears and according to Ed Martin Toyota records it shows that this same problem was reported just 5 months prior to purchase and nothing was done about it. I had also read online reference several recalls on the 2003, which I brought to Beck Toyota attention and they stated that all recalls were up to date. In actuality it had three recalls that were noticed by Ed Martin Toyota, one requiring the order of gas tank straps.

We have bought many vehicles from George throughout the years. He is always positive and fair when dealing with us. We were a disappointed this year because we have bought so many vehicles from Beck Toyota and the person who sits behind the desk that decides how much the dealership will offer didn't seem to care. We felt for George. He never said a word, but we could tell that he also knew they weren't offering us a decent deal. We only stayed at Beck this time around because we really like George and he has always treated us good. We would like to keep working with him. However, we definitely might consider going to a different dealership because of the other people involved with the deal, especially the person behind the desk who wanted to offer us the same car without a sunroof for almost the same monthly payment as the sunroof car. We would have traded for the non-sunroof if the monthly payment would have been lower, but the difference just didn't seem right. That person did not care which car we really wanted to buy, they just wanted to get rid of a certain car and the deal was not at all what we normally get from Beck when purchasing. Both my husband and I went away feeling uncertain of the deal. We will see when our next car lease is up what we do next summer. If Beck doesn't give us a good deal, this time around we will go to a different dealer. This is by no means a reflection on George. He is wonderful and he is the only reason we will return first to Beck next summer to turn in our Matrix.

I had delayed buying a new car for several months, only because I dread the car-buying experience. My previous experience 13 years ago at a GM dealership was a nightmare. My fears were put to rest within minutes of walking into Beck Toyota. Everyone was super friendly, and not the typical pushy car salesmen. I had read previous reviews on what a great guy Wendell was to deal with, so I asked for him. I bought the first car I took for a test drive and I was out the door and on my way home in my new Yaris in about 3 hours. I have no complaints at all and I will recommend Beck Toyota and Wendell to my friends.

My wife and I are going to move to Arizona. We had been looking for a car that is safe, powerful, reliable and affordable. We were immediately attracted by the 2007 Toyota 4Runner that Mr. Wendell Dossett posted online. Not only the great pictures and descriptions of the car but also Wendell's sincere words and smiles had convinced us that both the car and the person were equally reliable. It only took less than 3 hours for us to meet at Beck Toyota, test drive, negotiate the price, complete payment, and drive it home the same day! One of the easy and quickest car purchases I have every made. Price was below kelley blue book value. There was no comparable car for the price in the Cincinnati area, this is why I drove to Indianapolis to purchase a 2005 Scion xb for my son. The car was in excellent condition. Would drive to Indianapolis to Beck toyota again when I need to purchase another car. Beck Toyota made the car purchase stress free. Wendell even gave me a full tank of gas for the drive home. Thanks for making the car purchase easy and simple.

Appricated the offer to hold the car until I could arrive at the dealer; and that it parked at a location that i could easily spot the vechile. The only thing that would have been helpful would be for directions around town and a little more clear that I could take the car out, i was handed the keys but thought i would have to sign some paperwork- but the positive note about that is it was a very easy process for me to take it out on the test drive. I liked that you automatical took money off the sticker price and i didn't have to haggle for a better price; and the car was priced very well. it was a very good experience and i will recomend the dealership to others. i didn't not feel hassled or rushed in anyway. i really liked the picture that was taken and emailed to me promptly!

I have been to a lot of dealers in my life and have bought many new cars. I would have to say this has been the BEST overall experience I have had so far. I had been looking for a new truck for a couple of months and knew exactly what I wanted. Finding a Truck online below MSRP is almost unheard of and really got my attention, the truck was in a price range that I was willing to pay. Most dealer websites will say "call for best price", or will be at the MSRP, Beck Toyota is not afraid to put their best price online. The sales associate was willing to work and do everything possible, (within reason) in order to get me in a new truck. Thanks Wendell, you made it happen and I couldn't be happier!!

It was honestly a better experience than I could have planned out if my son was the salesman. My son was determined to make sure I was happy with my decision and Wendell made it happened. Wendell is a great guy. He worked to get the right car for me at the payment I could afford. He showed me the total price and how it got to that amount in a way I could easily understand it. Buying my Toyota 4Runner from Wendell was the best car shopping experience I have ever had. My attention was immediately caught on your excellent and very user-friendly website by Wendell's very detailed, accurate and almost lyrical description of the car. I called his number that evening, expecting the usual voicemail, and was very pleasantly surprised to have him answer my call on the first ring. He was intimately familar with every detail about the car, about 4Runners in general, and was able to discuss my RAV4 versus 4Runner questions quite knowledgably. The next day, he took me, via telephone, on a tour of the car which convinced me that it was well worth a drive from Louisville to Indianapolis to see it. Although I had certainly hoped to get more for my trade-in, Wendell explained the reasons for his range of estimated values very clearly and persuasively, and I had absolute comfort that he would deal with us fairly. When we arrived the next day, he was immediately available, very cordial, and took all the time we needed to acquaint us with the car and explain the ultimate value given our trade-in. He was very understanding when we realized that we had arrived without our certificate of title, and arranged to ensure that the car would still be there today. Today, he easily dealt today with the somewhat unusual circumstances of (1) the mispelling of my husband's name on the certificate of title, and (2) the subsequent change of the spelling of his name, and did an excellent job of walking us through the paperwork.My husband and I are both lawyers, value professionalism, honesty and competence highly wherever we find it, and feel very lucky to have been able to go through the often stressful purchase of a car with someone like Wendell who so exemplifies these qualities. If we ever are in the market for another Toyota, we will be happy to drive from Louisville to Indianapolis for the pleasure of working with Wendell.

Was originally able to search for the vehicle online. Good pictures and information on the website. Called Wendell on Saturday morning to verify van was still there and let them know we were going to come down. He had moved the van close to the showroom in anticipation of us arriving. Offered a good price and were easy to work with. Volunteered to bring the vehicle to my home (1 hour away) to speed up the process. Would recommend this dealership to others.

Last Sunday afternoon, my husband and I found several cars on Beck Toyota's websitethat we were interested in. I filled out the online inquiry form and received ane-mail from Wendell Dossett that same day. The dealership is closed on Sundays,but I talked with Wendell on Monday morning, and made arrangements to meet him thatafternoon to look at the cars. He was very helpful and friendly, and answered all ofmy questions. I told him that my husband and I would come back that evening anddrive the cars we liked. We fell in love with a beautiful, black Toyota Camry SEand knew it would be a great car for us. While our financing paperwork was beingprepared, Wendell saw to it that the car was washed and filled with gas. And the waiting area at Beck is like a luxurious, 5 star hotel, complete with big screenTV and fireplace. I should also mention that we had purchased a Toyota truck from Beck a few years ago. It goes to show you that when you receive great service, you'll buy from that dealer again. I highly recommend Wendell Dossett and the folksat Beck Toyota - you won't be disappointed!

My sales experience went very well. I had been communicating with Wendell via the Internet. Being out of town the previous week, I had narrowed my selection down while we exchanged serveral e-mails, and was ready to test drive a Camry.Wendell was very flexible and worked with me to get the best pricing for my new car, trade in, and great financing. When I received my car, it was spotless, and ready to go. It rides like a dream. I have alot of confidence in Toyota. As a Yaris and previous Camry owner,I believe Toyota makes a great line of cars.

I live in College Station, Texas, and had been searching across the country for a 2001-2004 Toyota Tacoma four-door 4X4 for eighteen months when I encountered one online at Beck Toyota in Indianapolis. It's important to note that on any given day in the U.S., perhaps as few as six, maybe as many as twenty of these particular vehicles will be for sale. In short, they're hard to find. Moreover, when I ran across Beck's listing, this one proved cleaner than nearly every other one I'd seen--AND for a lesser price.My thoughts ran first to the proverbial, "It's too good to be true," or "Something's gotta be horrifically wrong with the vehicle for Beck to be selling at that price," but given the truck's immaculate condition, I just had to call and ask. When Wendell Dossett, Beck Toyota's Internet Sales Manager, answered the phone (and I mean immediately--he didn't call me back hours later like some), he quickly assuaged my concerns. In fact, he told me, the Carfax indicated the vehicle had only one owner, and Beck Toyota had performed virtually every single service procedure that the vehicle had ever required since it was factory new. The Carfax indeed bore that out. Again I thought, "This IS too good to be true." With excitement mounting, I asked Wendell if he could take a few more photos [actually, a lot more] than the online listing showed. Not only did he NOT tell me, "I'll have to get back to you on that," he immediately walked outside into the Indianapolis winter with camera in hand while STILL ON THE LINE with me, asking me the whole way, "What shots would you like?" He climbed up on something to shoot the roof to prove no hail damage. He got down on his hands and knees to photograph the undercarriage, and even took several more shots than I asked for. After studying both the incredibly detailed Carfax and the photos Wendell emailed me within the hour, I knew I needed to take the leap... but I live in Texas. How will this work? Wendell Dossett graciously talked me through tax, title, & licensing questions, interstate commerce procedures, and a very reasonable, fully-refundable deposit, after which he assured me that if the vehicle was mine. This is important because I had put down deposits at other dealerships who grew impatient with me and sold their trucks out from under me before I could gather my cashier's check, plane tickets, & hotel reservations. Wendell did no such thing. In fact, he pulled my truck off the internet (he had to--people were inundating him with calls for this really clean Tacoma), assured me my vehicle was safe for the buying, and said he couldn't wait to meet me. A transaction of this magnitude would normally cause me much anxiety, especially since I was flying from across the country to purchase a vehicle, sight-unseen (outside of Beck's pics), but Wendell eased my concerns every step of the way, assuring me my deposit would hold the truck, working patiently & jovially with me as we proceeded with paperwork over the phone and via email, fielding every question with competence & understanding--AND nearly two decades of experience in the business. I flew up (landing in the recent blizzard) where Wendell had a wonderful woman, Robin, waiting to pick me and my fellow road warrior up at the airport. When we returned to the dealership, Wendell welcomed us with handshakes, cold Cokes, and a big smile. Moreover, and this really sold me: after driving the truck himself, he had noted a slight shimmy in the front end. It turned out to be the rotors--which Beck graciously machined to like-new condition, something they didn't have to do (and a $200 value), but they did anyway. The truck didn't have any floor mats. Wendell quickly found me some. I knew by then that undoubtedly, I had come to the right place for my new Tacoma. If my experience with Wendell Dossett and Beck Toyota in any way suggests what all their other customers encounter (and I suspect it does), then buyers would be hard-pressed to enjoy a more simple, more relaxing, more fulfilling car buying experience than I had with Wendell & Beck Toyota. I wholeheartedly endorse them for anyone in the market for a Toyota, new or used--whether you live in the Indianapolis area or anywhere else across the U.S. Take my advice: don't waste your time Toyota-shopping elsewhere :o)Matt, College Station, Texas

I was able to purchase a 2010 Prius at a fair price. There were not a lot of delays or pressure at the dealership, I was able to promptly pick up the vehicle, and the process was essentially hassle-free. Overall, one of the best car-purchasing experiences I have had.

Beck toyota responded quickly to my request to buy a Toyota Prius within the next week. After I told them the specifics of what I was looking for they gave me the best price within a 50 mile radius. On top of the quick response and the awesome price when I told them of my difficulty getting down to pick it up, Mike drove my new vehicle to my office where we did all the paperwork and he showed me all the features of the car. It was a wonderful buying experience.

Mr. Dossett was very friendly and helpful. My dad and I both felt like he cared about helping us decide if the truck met our needs and was in our price range. He was also very considerate and hospitable, making sure that we were seated comfortably, offered us something to drink, explaining anything we had questions about, etc. I would recommend Mr. Dossett and the Beck Toyota Dealership because they are truly about customer service. My wife and I were in the market for a pre-owned Honda Odyssey. After days of searching online visiting autotrader.com and countless dealership sites, I knew what model and trim level I wanted. After narrowing down the search further, I began visiting dealerships with whom I've conducted business before to no avail, everyone wanted more than market value for their vans or the odometers were nearing the six digit range. After looking at a few vans in person, I found that interior cleanliness was next to impossible to find, even after going through respective dealerships' detail services. I was frustrated to the point of defeat when I stumbled upon Beck Toyota's listing for a pre-owned 2005 Honda Odyssey EX-L. They were about $2-3,000 cheaper than anyone else with 20,000 fewer miles than anyone else even at the higher price point. I called down to Mr. Dossett and asked him point-blank, "Is this thing clean? I've seen some trashed vans today and I don't want to drive down to Greenwood only to be faced with another dirty vehicle." Wendell assured me that he had taken the vehicle in on trade personally and that the vehicle was exceptionally clean, in and out, and that he'd driven it around the block as well. Reluctantly, I went out on a limb and took his word for it, drove down to Greenwood and took the Odyssey out for test drive. The van was virtually perfect considering it's age and mileage, I didn't feel the need to haggle one bit on purchase price. Once I returned to the dealership, Wendell and I sat down and talked numbers, he had my trade-in appraised at a fair price, and we ironed out the details. All in all, a relatively painless process and welcome end to my used-vehicle buying experience.The reason I feel compelled to share my excellent experience with the Beck Toyota team, from Mr. Dossett to signing the deal with Mr. Rose in the F&I department is great contrast it provides from my otherwise negative opinion of the buying process formed by dealership practices. I have been jerked around every way imaginable by numerous dealerships in purchasing vehicles for my wife and myself, as well as assisting friends and family get into the right vehicles, and have never had a better all-around experience than I did at Beck Toyota.

Thank you for providing excellent customer service during my recent visits to Beck Toyota. I really appreciated Mr. Dossett staying late on a Friday night in order to show and let me test drive a used Toyota Tundra that I had seen advertised on AutoTrader.com. Mr. Dossett was very friendly and courteous, and he was even familiar with the company I work for, Toyota Tsusho. There were some very noticeable scratches on the truck's tailgate, so I asked Mr. Dossett if he could reduce the asking price. He was able to do so, and the money I saved was used to get the tailgate repainted.The only catagory that I didn't rate as "great" was quality of work. I noticed excess car polish on the truck body during the walk-around inspection. The polish initially looked like scratches, but I was able to rub it off with my finger. Not a big deal, but I'm somewhat particular about paint as I used to work in TMMI's paint shop.Overall, I had a great experience at Beck Toyota and would recommend the dealership to others.

I called Wendell on Wednesday evening regarding a used vehicle I had seen on the website. I explained to him my exact expectations of what I type of vehicle I was looking for and what I was willing to pay for it. Wendell immediately told me that the original vehicle I was looking may or may not fit into my parameters, he did just receive a vehicle in that afternoon, that was in impeccable shape and would fit into what I was willing to pay. We scheduled an appointment for Thursday morning, in which Wendell showed me the vehicle, I test drove it, then came back and made the purchase. My new Ford Windstar van was exactly as Wendell had explained to me on the phone. Including Wendell, every person that I came into contact with during my time at Beck Toyota, was extremely polite and a pleasure to meet. They also acknowledged my daughter who was with me. If either myself, my family or my friends are ever in need of a used car, I will not hesitate to send them to Beck Toyota.

The reason why we gave the Great rating to Wendell as our salesperson was because there was not a check box for a superior rating. Wendell took care of all of our needs from the moment of our very first phone call to Beck Toyota. We have absolutely no complaints about the service we received from Wendell and we would highly recommend Beck Toyota and Wendell Dossett to others. In addition, my husband and I agree if in the future we are looking for another Toyota, we will do it via the internet and ask Wendell to be our salesperson. Oh yes, we love our new used Toyota Tacoma! Need I say more.........

Visited during Cash for Clunkers...traded in a 86' Ford Bronco II for a 2010 Camry XLE. I was not happy with the dealer's limited terms on CfC, but found that it was the same all over, so no foul there. Adam (my sales guy) was very friendly and answered all of my questions well. Waiting for the finance office was VERY frustrating, but the line was fair and salesguy got me McD's while I waited at his expense. No service experience as yet. However, I will say that sales-wise I am more than pleased and would recommend to others.
