I went looking for a little newer vehicle something a little bigger than my 1003 Subaru imprezza outback sport. I wanted a pickup. Rachael Hainline showed me a Ford F350 that was everything I wanted. For the age it had a few to many miles they said the banks would not like it. They showed me a 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500. I like the truck very much. Rachel said she would get me in it the day I was there. She ran herself to death back and fourth from her desk to her manager and the finance department. She made it happen and it only took two hours orb there about. The finance gentleman was very friendly not pushy at all. They all showed that they care whether I was happy or not and whether I got what I needed to be able to afford the truck. I also talked to Kurt Fahising the parts manager about some things that I want to get for the truck to keep it nice. He was awesome to work with also. He did not try to get rid of me real fast. He wanted to make sure I got all the answers I needed. Very nice fellow. If any of my friends need GM or Ford parts I will definitely send them his way. I feel like they were very personable and cared what I thought and how they treated me. I would rate everyone I worked with five stars. I will definitely use them for my vehicles service and any parts I need. Thank you all so very much.

I am a Soldier stationed overseas and this dealership sold (and shipped) me a 2015 Camaro ZL1 with a BROKEN TRANSMISSION with only 8,100 MILES! Literally, still under warranty. I had it shipped here only to find the car would not go when I stepped on the gas pedal. The GM, Joshua Allen, blew me off when I was broken down on the side of the highway.I was looking for assistance finding a dealer to take it in for service. He told me he'd assist me and NEVER did ANYTHING!!! Can you imagine? Such an unethical place to buy a car. TERRIBLE dealership. TERRIBLE! Your dreams of a new car will be shattered here!

I have dealt with Ben Davis the past 2 years and we have gotten 3 vehicles from them. My husband's truck, then I bought a 2011 equinox, which I loved. But then I decided I wanted to just lease a new car since I don't drive alot. They tried everything to get me a lease but couldn't, so instead they got me in my new 2016 Chevrolet Trax to buy. Which I absolutley love! There was no way I thought I would ever have or own a brand new car, ever, but because of the amazing staff at Ben Davis, I have one! The salesman, Mike, and the finance guy, Hari, were great to work with! They answered all my questions and Mike has been available whenever I needed something. The reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 was because when I picked up the vehicle from the undercoating appointment, I noticed a bag I had on the back seat was tossed in the back. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal, but due to the other things I had back there, the bag was tipped toward the rear door and spilled when I opened it. I feel it was unnecessary to move the bag anyway, but it not being put back and then spilling was frustrating. Aside from this issue, everything was great.

The vehicle needed immediate repairs. I was let believe it had an aftermarket exhaust system but turned out to be a rotten muffler. Both exhaust manifolds were cracked and needed replaced. Title work was not done in a timely manner.

Like many people I have felt ripped off by car dealers, but I needed a vehicle. I told a couple that I work with my situation and they told me hands down that I needed to go to Ben Davis in Auburn and speak with Jerry. Although I had never been to Auburn, I did some checking online and found a used, 2015, Ford Focus. It had low mileage and gets 30 - 40 miles to the gallon (I'm getting 38 as of right now). Still, I was reluctant, but I went. I met Jerry and I immediately trusted him. And, although it was late, he stayed and I drove home with my new-to-me Ford that night. I got to say, "I love it." I love the bluetooth capability, the backup camera, but most of all I love the fact that I was able to walk away from a dealership NOT feeling like I was ripped off. Thanks Jerry. I'll see you the next time I need another vehicle.

Rachel Hainline and Shannon Hill were professional, courteous. and very knowledgeable on the Buick Enclave that we interested in and then purchased the same day. The process of purchase was surprisingly simple and the financial manager was friendly and also very professional and explained details in simple and concise manner. Mr. Hill spent a considerable time explaining the use of the technology and programmed the OnStar and Buick AP features into our IPhones and vehicle. In fact, Mr. Hill drove to our home and delivered a manual and papers we left behind which is "above and beyond" ordinary service.Overall, a 5 star experience! Recommend Ben Davis highly.

I enjoyed my experience with Shannon Hill and Hari Luker. I found the car on their website, emailed right away, and I heard from Shannon within a few minutes. Shannon let me drive it to the office the next day. I wanted a pearl white car with a tan interior and sun roof. It was everything I wanted. The price was great and the car had been completely serviced before I bought it.Shannon got in the car with me to show me how to work the gadgets and off I went, very happy to have my car. Everyone was so friendly. A couple of salesman sat down to talk while I was waiting, and made the time go faster. Hari was so friendly and made the signing of the final paperwork very nice. My experience was great. John is a very competent and cheerful dealer that really seemed to know what I was looking for. The only thing I have to say is that on both occasions I was at the dealership, my time was wasted. Around 2 hours in total. I had to be to work both days and my paperwork wasn't ready and such. At 1 point I was just a few minutes late, and I know theres a process but I wish there had been a printer of all things at the other site so he could print it right there. With the dealership having been there so long, it would be very helpful to have the necessary equipment right at hand. Other than that I was given a great deal and a good experience.

Went to Ben Davis to buy a new F150, had a couple dialed in for purchase, everything was a go. I was deciding on what color when a Chevy Z71 showed up from another dealer swap. I informed Shannon that I wanted one just like that one. He responded " No problem ", give me 5 minutes. Within 5 minutes he located one with better options and at a lower price. I found the car on the internet and drove 6 1/2 hours to see it. Doug Dodade kept in touch with me during the week to insure the car was still available and would be there when I arrived. Not only did he do that, but he was also able to get the car Certified despite being 5 years old, which meant the dealership could offer me an excellent Cadillac warranty with the car at a reasonable price. The only negative was the trade-in value that I got for a very clean trade, but the car I purchased was priced so right that it was a wash. I feel I came out ahead despite the low trade allowance. Thanks so much and there is currently a car in stock that my sister is considering. I would trust this dealership for that deal as well if she decides she is interested. I am very happy with the deal, and my purchase!

Been working with Jerry at Ben Davis for over a week to buy my Wife a new car. We passed on some deals from other dealers after Jerry said he could get the car we wanted for the price we wanted to pay. He was unable to get the car we wanted, and the other deals at other dealers were gone. We decided to buy another car (different color, less options) for the price that was advertised on their website. After waiting over 2 hours to hear back from Jerry, he told me the price on their website was wrong and the "real" price was $4,000 more!!!!!! His Sales Manager Cody is the WORST!!!!!!!Never deal with Ben Davis, kings of the old "BAIT AND SWITCH" and "FALSE ADVERTISING".I like Jerry, and I am sure he did everything he could to get us a deal, so the blame falls directly on Sales Manager Cody Barney who even admitted it was his mistake, but would not make it right!

We went in to see how true his claims were and are completely satisfied. My sales person was wonderful. She was helpful and was not pressuring in anyway. The reason there isn't a 5 star is because of the finance person. Gave them a dollar amount for the payment also said $0 down. Got there to sign papers and they had it for us to put money down and had a payment $40 over the max. Then he came out with a payment $100 over what the max was. $40 may not seem like a lot but when you already are taking a higher payment it does. Then when we were ready to leave he miraculously came out with a payment that would work. If it wasn't that we would not have purchased the vehicle. The sales person is the reason that I will recommend and the only reason I will return.

I'm in love with my preowned car, however I'm disappointed in the service I received, especially considering I came from out of state to purchase the vehicle. The salesperson was too busy and preoccupied with other customers/deals to ensure I got the best care. I expressed interest in 3 different vehicles and was supposed to be shown 2 others but was not. Once I gave my okay on the final numbers, he showed no further interest in me as a customer. If it weren't for Beau who walked through the Finance paperwork with me, I would be giving a lower rating.

Through phone calls, email, and texting we worked out a deal for my trade-in, discussed the condition of the truck, and I drove home in my extremely clean used vehicle only a few days later. I was set up with Nick Walker, I couldn't have been given a better fit for a sales person. He was helpful with my questions and replied promptly with the info I had asked about. When my family and I were able to make the trip he was welcoming and available. When I met Nick and saw the truck I was confident it was the truck for me. Nick hadn't misrepresented the truck I was surching for. While I was in doing the paper work he sat and visited with my 3 kids. He won us all over, they couldn't stop talking about him. It makes a person feel good to see you can be treated like family when you have just met. I haven't bought a vehicle in 10years and all on my own this was a first. I would make the trip again and will let every one know where I was able to make my dream a reality.

I found this jeep online. I decided to call first thing In the morning about 820. The dealership wasn't even open yet (I didn't know the dealerships hours) and Courtney answered the phone. A lot has happened in the past 12 years since we purchased our last brand new car! My little Saturn finally called it quits after 171,000 miles. Although I bought a used car, I was treated with equal respect as a customer. I inquired about the car I wanted to purchase at Autotrader and was replied to almost immediately by the dealership. I was given a link in my email for directions to the dealership and contact information. I was late arriving to the dealership and it was almost closing time but the staff stayed past operating hours to make the transaction that evening, I am grateful as I drove a great distance to get there. Courtney was friendly and great to work with. They got me financed after hours while most banks were closed. They negotiated the price when there probably wasn't much room for them to bargain. They even washed the car for me late at night.

We came in to look at a vehicle we found online. Larry Dove came to help us and was very kind. He was a genuine person, not a pushy salesman that we have encountered in the past. He made the transaction very personal. The financing situation was not as pleasing. I was pretty clear that I needed the payment to stay at or below $300. He had me set up on $367 a month. He insisted that I take the warranty. I repeatedly told him that I did not want it. He just kept saying he didn't understand why I would do that. He said that it did not make sense and would be foolish. I honestly was ready to walk away and not buy anything. I felt like he was telling me I was stupid. I ended up taking the warranty in the end for much much lower that he originally offered but I was very annoyed. The Gap insurance that he sold me also was double the price it should have been. I refinanced the vehicle within 7 days for 3% lower interest, 3 months less payments and half price gap that gives me $1000 towards the purchase of a new car. I would buy from Larry again, but I would have my own financing in place.

Our overall experience with Ben Ford has been a great one. Very friendly and great people who are all willing to help you out with your truck buying experience. We live 3 hours from this dealer, so all our dealing with Tom was done over the phone or by e-mail. Tom was able to work with us to get us the Truck we wanted for the price we need to be at. When we arrived the truck was ready to go, all we had to do was sign papers which were all filed in and waiting for us to sign. The longest wait we had was waiting to see the finance guy this was only due to them having one guy that day (on a Saturday) because they had a call in of their other finance guy, something beyond their control. Our only thing we wish we would have had better experience was with our truck walk through. Jill, our sales person who was assigned to us as we did all this over the internet, did not know about Ford trucks. She informed us that she sold Chevy Trucks why they assigned a Chevy salesperson to us when we were buying a Ford was a bit disappointing. She did get us a Ford sales person John who did go over all the ins and outs of the truck. I felt bad for John because he spent the most time with us going over things. I felt John should have been assigned our deal and not Jill. Jill was very accommodating to us and very nice, and I am sure an excellent sales person for Chevy. However, when I buy a Ford truck I want that person to know their product.

Overall a very pleasant transaction with Steve Munger as well as Joe Conner. I didn't have much dealing with Joe as I paid cash for the vehicle, but the time I did spend with him was pleasant. Steve did a good job presenting the vehicle, and was not pushy or abrasive as sales folk I have dealt with in the past. The only complaint I had (and a VERY minor one) was that I was "lowballed" on my trade-in vehicle to the tune of 1500.00, and was told the estimator made a "mistake". This however is a common tactic with all car dealers - I realize you guys are in this business to make a buck. After I pointed out the fact that I needed a certain figure for the vehicle I traded in, it was readily agreed upon with no hassle at all. As I usually equate the business of buying a new vehicle as a trip to the dentist, I can honestly say this was not the case. An extremely pleasant and stress free transaction , and I will definitely consider your dealership when it comes time to purchase another vehicle. In closing, I feel that I got a great, honest deal on the car - so much that I never attempted to negotiate a lower price - which is a first for me. Thanks again - I will be back.

I was told the car I was buying was a 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z51 Stingray. It was not a Z51. I traded in my 2012 to get a Z51 and found out 4 months later it was not. There is no easy way to tell if a newer corvette is a Z51 so I took the dealers word for it. When I contacted them about their mistake I was ignored. I was even willing to negotiate but 4 months after the fact and the cars value dropped 19K. They obviously did not want to take blame and in other words I was out of Luck.

John was an incredibly helpful salesperson right from the start. He was happy to work with me remotely as I was out of state - sending lots of extra pictures and information at my request. Everything went smoothly through the negotiation process as well. Things slowed down when it got past that point, presumably from delays in financing. I have to think that had I been there in person it would have been different, but I was having the vehicle shipped and the process took a few weeks to accomplish and there were periods of unresponsiveness. In the end, the transaction ended smoothly - in fact the vehicle was even better than pictured and hoped. Had I had a more expedited transaction with better communication at the financing stage, this would've been a 5 star review.

my experience with Ben Davis was a very pleasant one, I had emailed ahead on the car I was looking at and when I arrived it was already sitting out waiting on me. met Steve in the dealership and he was very professional. a lot of dealerships get pushy when you look at their cars but Ben Davis did not push to sell the car, they even got my payment at where I wanted with the down payment I had, what I like about this dealership is they want you business back, other dealerships that I have encountered figure once they sell you a car then they made their money then forget about you. Ben Davis even after the sell still keeps in communication to ask how the service was and still maintains the professionalism as if I was first buying the car. I was in twice on Saturday to get an oil change on both of our vehicles. The service department always greets me by my name and always tries to make sure that I leave as a satisfied customer. The sales staff always make sure that I have coffee, water, or whatever. They just treat you like you are their guest and talk to you while you are there. An overall good and quick experience.

I just purchased a 07 f150. First of all the ad on thier website had pictures of the wrong truck on it. Someone messed up. The salesman Shannon Hill was great. The sales manager that came back with the trade value was decent. Then he came up with ridiculous terms and tried pushing me into high payments and putting money down. Even after I said no way in xxxx several time. He was rude, cocky, and arrogant. (I dont remember his name). Shannon worked to get him away from me, and make things right. 3 items were agreed to be fix when I purchased the vechile. I made an appointment for over a week later so they could order the parts. During that time the truck developed a shake while braking. The service department looked at it and discovered the front rotors had grooves in them. They could not be turned because they were at there spec limits. Only one item was fixed that day because the parts were scheduled the next day. Now i have to waste 2 days while they fix it. A simple call saying the parts were delay and ask if i wanted to reschedule when the work could be done all at once would have been more than acceptable and appreciated. I had call and complain about the rotors. Obviously a poor inspection was done and they tried to pass it off on the customer, or they made an attempt at a temporary fix and failed. The sales manager Johns solution was if I payed for the rotors they would install them at no charge. 2 wasted days and couple hundred dollars later. It's done. Nothing like paying for rotors less than 2 weeks after purchasing a $15000 vehicle. I will never do business with them again. A couple of good employees followed by several bad ones. Buyer's beware. Customer service and friendliness all depends on who you deal with.

There are issues that I am trying to resolve, and have been told that it had been taken care of when it was NOT! We knew what we wanted, but realized, after a while, that we were looking at vehicles slightly out of our designated price range, and, consequently, hadn't been able to get that one special deal. We modified our search criteria to slightly older vehicle with low miles, and we came across "our" vehicle at Ben Davis. My initial objective was to purchase a 2015 Chevrolet Traverse. The "process" was smooth and informative. Steve was kind and knowledgeable. I was asked about my wants and needs and was presented a product that matched(I pretty much already knew what I wanted). The trade evaluation was AMAZING! I was educated on market based appraising and pricing strategies used by the dealership. This made me feel good about my trade value, because I understood the reason behind the value placed on my trade. I was presented with both an option to "buy" and "lease". I never considered a lease but was explained how it works, which was great. Through the earlier wants and needs conversation, Steve uncovered that a lease option was more in line with my payment objective. Collection or F&I was smooth and informative. Jeremy made sure I understood my factory warranty and offered some additional products that seem useful. The sales managers were kind and helpful too. Overall A+ experience with this dealership.

Easily traded in my old car for a used one. The handling of the pre-trade paperwork was a little rough, so instead of getting a check back, I was told I would have to pay extra on the trade. A little disappointed in that their team did not notice the radio was not working on the used car they sold me, or the corrosion in the 12V outlet, so the car went back in for service the day after I drove it off the lot.

John was great. No problem there. One thing I have never liked is being pushed to purchase the extended warranty. Even after I said " I am not interested, lets move on" I still was being pressured. At one point I was ready to walk out on the deal because of it. My wife stopped me or I would not have purchased the truck. Again, the salesman was fine, it was the final wrap up I found very annoying. If I choose to buy another vehicle from Ben Davis, I will explain before closing the deal that I do not want the extended warranty. If I am pushed like this again, I will walk out.

We have are vehicles service every 3 thousand miles. We always tell them to make sure the next sticker indicates that mileage number. More times than not they do not get it right and we have to make them make another sticker when we pick the vehicle up and this really pisses me off!!!!!!!!!!!!! or their is a screw up on the bill. Logan is a very knowledgeable, laid back salesman. I never felt pressured in buying my 2014 impala. He's more interested in finding the right vehicle for your individual needs than treating you like a human dollar sign. John is a good person and seems to really put his heart in his career. He is fun to be around and seems to know just about everybody in town! I was really pleased to work with Adam Gospodareck. He was very courteous and helpful. I would definitely work with Adam again. The financing part of this transaction wasn't what I expected. I felt the finance person was trying to be a little deceitful when trying to sell the extended service. He explained what coverage was still on the car then explained other coverage and said if I agree sign here. He didn't say he was trying to sell more coverage. I happened to notice that the monthly payment was significantly higher. I would expect someone to explain in detail everything they are trying to sell and the cost of it. I don't remember the finance persons name but I would hope he explains his self a little better with other customers.

One of the reasons I waited to get a new car was I did not want to go through the process of dealing with pushy sales people. I always felt that the were overbearing and insulting. This was NOT the case at Ben Davis Ford. I spoke with Shane on the phone a few times before making a trip to the dealership. I appreciated several things about the way Shane conducted business. One, he was never pushy or tried to sell me a different, more expensive model then I was looking for. In short, he listened to what I wanted. Second, as a married woman, I often get pushed aside and dealers want to talk just to my husband. This never happened at this dealership. They dealt with me through the entire process which was much appreciated. Third, I appreciated that he did not fake his way through the answers to my questions. If he didn't know the answer, he was upfront about it and promptly called back with an answer. Overall, he was very courteous and made this a very hassle free car buying experience. I also appreciated that our Sales Manager dealt with us from the beginning, instead of having our salesman go back and forth trying to make a deal. Before coming to Ben Davis, I spoke with another Ford dealership that was not willing to give us much for our trade in. Our sales manager, Tom, did a great job assessing our trade in and give us the value we wanted out of it. We were able to come to a compromise on the price without having to walk away. Like I said this was a hassle free experience from beginning to end. I can not thank them enough for the great experience. I will definitely be a return customer in the future.

I purchased my new Camaro and at the time the deal was "struck" there were a few things that needed to be be repaired cosmetically as well as a few things I wanted them to do to make my car unique. The service department, specifically the body shop came through without issue. Mark Rossi (Service Director) and his body shop staff did an outstanding job by both ensuring my satisfaction and making the Camaro really standout. If any type of service is required Ben Davis will be my one and only choice and if there are issues in the future I know that they will honor their commitment to quality and satisfaction. John Conklin did a fine job showing me and letting me drive this 2008 Buick Lucerne with 29,000 miles.The car was detailed and looked brand new.I have not used it alot although on a trip to Cary, N.C. and she ran like a charm.Problems encountered: When I 1st called,I mentioned if there were 2 sets of key( to me this meant a key and remote) and told yes.When I picked up the car, I was told they could only find 1 key with no remote and I could order same from GM.It cost me $236 for 1 key and 2 remotes.I should add that when we drove to another building to sign the purchasing order, I try'd to open the car with my remote for my other Buick as in same pocket and John said I only hade key.I said no problem as I'll have the remote for this new car soon.John said nothing about only 1 key.During my signing of the papers Jeff Beam was less than for forthright about the warrantee and confusing to the point I almost ended up with a $3000 payment I neither wanted nor needed as my current 2008 Buick has 150,000 miles on it and may have $1000 in repairs, etc put into it.More importantly, I wanted to pay via VISA until my IRA put the money in my checking account so I could get the points.John said you folks would only accept $3000 but that ALLY, who they choose to use as they would not charge a fee, would accept my VISA-not true as they will not and the bank who has Western Union advised me even if I did the VISA would consider this as an advance and charge me 25% interest.So much for integrity.Now I must admit I am wondering what else I was not informed of about the car but we shall see.In any case, under the circumstances, I could not see myself recommending your dealership to others and have the same problems or others and then blame me.

The vehicle presentation to us on collection was excellent.. Hats off to Keegan!The disappointment was during collection. I had expressed earlier in the day that I needed to be in and out. I arranged to be there at 5.00pm, and was told the process should take around 30 mins, initially I arrived at the Ford office, then I was moved to thee GM sales area to close out on the finance side. At 5.20 I was still sitting in the GM Chevy sales area, waiting to be attended by one of the finance guys. At 6.50 I was still there. My activities and meetings planned for the evening had to be cancelled on the fly, this created a huge inconvenience. Indeed, my wife had told be I should have walked! Once the finance guy did finally see me at around 7.00, it took around 20 minutes.I was given multiple excuses! "it was then end of the month", "there should have been three finance people but there were only 2". The big issue I have is, what I observed:The manager in the office, spent all his time in his office, with various sales people wandering in, wandering out, appeared to be doing nothing to manage what was happening on the floor, he did not appear to consider any of the customers that were waiting or attended to them. It appeared he was socializing rather the managing.. I was sat opposite his office, When Keegan, at my request, invited the manager to come and speak to me. At this point I was surprised, I have been sat there for an hour and 20 minutes, watching the goings on, and until he introduced himself, I would never have even guessed that he was the manager. I received what amounted in my opinion to nothing but excuses from him - this then made me angry - because of what I had observed for the previous hour and 20 minutes - gave me the impression that he had not been managing anything, and just letting others (the finance guys) - do all the running around.In contrast, the manager on the Ford sales floor, the previous Saturday when we chose the car was attentive, speaking to his staff and customers, and always looking for assurance that customers needs were met and letting us know what was happening. He appeared engaged and managing activities. Whilst we were there a lot longer than we expected, we were attended to and we knew what was happening,Sorry, but this led to a big disappointment. Probably my worst experience to date in buying a car.I would not pretend to be an expert in how to run a dealership, But I have purchased many new cars over years and have been in the Automotive Industry for most of my career. Here is suggestion:In a sales area, then minute that a salesman or sales manager appear to be at working for themselves, and not for their customers, this instantly sends a negative impression to customers - indeed as a customer - I would not want to be there.When a business has an routine busy period (e.g. end of month event) - a good business will plan for it. Knowing that the finance part can be as short as 20 to 30 minutes, there is a lot that I think you could do:1. Knowing that a customer will be there at a particular time, preparing and planning the paperwork up front.2. Taking the pressure of the finance guy, by having someone else talk through the process, and some of the less sensitive documents before hand.3. Having the sales team walk the customer through vehicle inspection and features, (one of the reasons I think I was kept waiting was because the finance guys seemed to be doing this with other customers)4. Create the right impression - don't allow the staff to congregate in offices, appearing to socialize, when people are waiting. This creates the impression that the customer is not important, and upsets people.5. Ensure management manage the process. I have been in dealerships in the past where everything is focused on the customer and everything is open to the customer, for example, I have seen (and was impressed by), during a previous experience by: A planning board in the customer area to manage sales etc. on it the manager on duty was listed, and it was clear who and where he/she was.For purchase, cars where listed on a board, their salesman, the appointment time, who they needed to see, the car keys, where the car was. You walk in and are given the impression the dealership is waiting for you, not the customer waiting for the dealership.I am sorry to have for the negative review , but hope you can use this to improve future customer experience.

Jill was very attentive to our needs, as was you quoting manager. He gave me a good deal. The most memorable person would be your finance manager who handled our paperwork. He was hilarious and made the whole process enjoyable. This may be the first time I did not feel pressured and it took about 45 minutes from the time I arrived to leaving with my vehicle. This has always taken 1.5 to 2 hours prior to this.

Last oil change done drove away and noticed the change oil soon lamp was still on. Drove back to have it reset and asked if oil was really changed was told it was. Made me curious so when I got home I checked under the hood and noticed the waher solvent was not filled. So I called again and was assured oil change was done but tech. Did not fill completely. You have lost my trust in this service. Not sure I will return for oil changes again. Also a few days later the service air bag light came on. It took a week to get it in to check it out. Too long to wait for a safety issue! What if a crash would have happened? Would the air bag have worked? Anyway in summary I feel unsure if what I paid for was done on the oil change and felt the safety issue was not handled in a timely manner.

I would like to start by saying that Mark Harris was the only bright spot in my experience with Ben Davis. He was true to his word from day one and if it were not for him I would not have even considered giving them the opportunity to make things right. With that said the rest of my experience was something I couldn't even begin to describe. Yes they are great about greeting and putting you at ease and saying all the right things. However, make sure you read all the fine print and if you don't understand something ask, ask over and over until you get the answer you want. They changed everything from the quoted price, quoted monthly payments to the interior being that which I was adamant about it not being. There are so many hidden fees and other costs that they try to make you think you need. And rest assured you better not sign anything if it is not completely and clearly stated. This was my first new vehicle purchase, which should have been a wonderful experience but because of then became a living nightmare for me. Unfortunately I had to experience it twice. Other than Mark, the next best part was that I will no longer have to deal with this dealership ever again.

Me and my friend drove around car shopping endlessly searching for a new car for her that she'd love. We finally ended up at Ben Davis in auburn, and I'm so glad we did. Steve helped her find the perfect car she wanted and while she was on her test drives, I made a joke to keagen that I needed a new car. Needless to say, I left the car lot with a 2010 Equinox that I absolutely love! Not only Did keagen talk me right into getting a new car, both the guys were very helpful with keeping my one year old entertained while we were there. I told keagen what I wanted and the very FIRST vehicle he pulled up i fell in love with. I'd recommend him to anyone thinking of buying a car! He worked with my price range and made it possible for myself (a 21 year old with no credit and no co signer) to be approved for a $13,000 car! He was funny, and he didn't lecture us about buying this or that.. Even though it was the first car we looked at, he told me there was a lot more options we could look into. But of course he picked the perfect one for me! He was funny and wasn't overwhelming like most car dealers that won't let you leave without getting what they want you to. He cared about what I wanted and made me feel comfortable.If you go there, seriously set up an appointment with keagen, you'll be sure to leave there satisfied and you won't regret it!

Sent my truck in for routine service and got it back with the information system in pause mode and service manager could not tell me how to correct it. Told me they were having these issues after resetting oil life. When I couldn't figure it out he then told me that was how it must have been when I brought it in. 2nd time I have got a vehicle back from service at Ben Davis Ford and had issues. For someone who HATES shopping for a vehicle, our experience with John Conklin at Ben Davis was great! He and the sales manager, Josh, made us feel like our business was very valuable to them and we felt like they wanted us as customers for life. The negotiating phase of the transaction was as painless as it could be. The only negative item was the LONG wait to meet with the finance department to pay for the vehicle and receive our registration information. We were paying cash and not financing the vehicle, so it was a very simple process. The wait was well over an hour and a half. I gave the "buying process" 5 stars as everything up to the wait was good and, once we got in to see the "paperwork" person, the finalization of the transaction was good.

The warnings I received about Ben Davis were correct. I was less then happy with the customer service practically getting ignored unless I went to the lot itself and then often stood waiting for periods of time. Not to mention how rude everyone was with their opinions. Trying to finance with them was a complete joke and insult. Before the trade and sale was even final they had already taken my car into the shop and taken decals ect off (what if I was going to walk away)? They request papers from me and can't even provide me with the right fax number. The car itself was clean, they agreed to fix a panel with a broken clip which still needs to be done. However they thought having mixed matched tires on a vehicle is acceptable so I get to spend a pretty penny on new tires on a vehicle that I just purchased. I am happy with the vehicle I got but would try to avoid any business with them in the future and suggest the same to my friends, family, even enemies.

I would have liked the truck I bought to have been detailed, washed, and tires aired up before I drove off with it, but other than that, the overall service and care of the dealers were great. They let you know when they wanted to sell you something extra, instead of sleezing it into a deal, and they also told you how it benefits YOU! Great service and very helpful! Genuinely caring for their customers. Great work! I visited probably 5 dealers before I stopped here and they were by the far the best in service!!

Bought a car that was just traded in to them a day or so before. They had serviced it the day I walked in. I was told they did a few repairs (replaced some lug nuts, tire studs, and patched a tire) and was told there were no leaks. I talked directly to the people who serviced the car and after noticing a drop of transmission fluid, I was told it was from another car even though it was perfectly placed under the cars transmission. I bought it and after thoroughly checking it out myself, I found the transmission was indeed leaking and the tire they patched is also leaking. Both of these I could easily fix myself but why should I when I was reassured the car was fine. Supposedly they will be fixing both the tire and transmission leak in a few days along assuming they don't try to charge me for it.

I was able to walk in and have a car within two hours or so, and had only called two hours prior to arrival. I was able to find a great reliable car quickly. My salesman was Jerry Shroads. Jerry is very personable, and has a very calming presence and makes the process stress-free. Jerry is relate-able and has a great personality that does not force anything on you. He is truly invested in finding the best car for you at the best price. You know you are getting a great deal, and you know the salesman truly cares about your purchase. I have also had my car serviced here many times and they always do a great job, and the car is always returned vacuumed and freshly washed and is always clean dry and shiney. Also definitely worth the drive up to Aurburn, IN.

I recently sold my car and was scouring the internet for a Chevy Traverse with good mileage. I live in Kalamazoo, MI and found on at Ben Davis Chevrolet in Indiana. Compared to the other Traverses that I had test drove this car had half the mileage and was in much better condition. I called immediately and spoke with Andrea, due to timing and the distance I had requested that we meet half way. She tried to accomodate this request for me, but was unable to. I found a friend to drive me down there, we got there about two minutes before close and Andrea was still there waiting for me. She had the car ready to go, took us for a test drive. She was so friendly and patient even though we were keeping her past hours. She never made me feel rushed and even stayed after to take a picture for us. I work in an industry where customer service is a priorty. Andrea is amazing, I'd recommend her to anyone buying a new/used car.

We looked several different places for a minivan and finally came across one that my wife and I rally liked. When I went in to the dealership I was greeted within 5 minutes of arrival. The salesman knew nothing about the van. I asked if anyone else at the dealership had any information. Of course I get an I have no idea look from him then he informs me that I would probably have to come back tomorrow to get information from someone else about the van. So my wife and her step mother went in the next day to get some information. The received little information from the salesman and was not treated very nicely. This made me pretty mad. So I told her that I will go in with you the next day and if we were treated rudely again that we would just walk out. That day we were treated pretty fairly I would say. Nothing great but not horrible either. When everything was discussed i agreed to sign papers and purchase the vehicle. During the paperwork process our salesman repeatedly got out of his chair and said excuse me then went to other customers that started walking through the door. This did not make me happy. I understand that they are a customer and they deserve service as well, I understand even if they were a returning customer; but I was a customer and we were in the middle of paperwork and I expect the best service when I am spending thousands of dollars at a car dealership. I am not saying that I would not go back if they had another vehicle that we really liked, but I will not accept that kind of service from them.

Absolutely appalled at the treatment and condition of buildings and customer service. Was not greeted after five minutes. Was handed keys and told to look at car. Had been on the phone numerous times with salesman for financing. Instead of telling me they could not get financing they let me drive all the way to Auburn from New Haven IN, waste my gas and time to tell me they couldn't finance me unless i sold my 2010 Taurus SHO for a 2008 Yukon. That is CRAP! You could have placed a two minute call to not have me waste over an 130 of my time for nothing. Will not be returning.

Jeremy responded quickly and we set up a time to meet. I liked the used car and so did my independent mechanic. The staff at Ben Davis was willing to negotiate a little and I bought the car. While they were checking out my old car for value and verifying my loan the staff was very freindly and made my short wait comfortable. I have been very happy with the new used car, it has been reliable and effcient in the weeks I have been driving it. It needed an alignment which this dealer agreed to do at no charge to me and set up an appointment for the next week. I found the service department to be as friendly, respectful, and knowlegeable as the sales department, and the service department was also timely.

The first time we arrived at Ben Davis, the lot was closed and to our surprise we were greeted by Andrea Estle. She is a new car dealer and graciously showed us around the budget lot. We set up an appointment for next day, and she continued to show us cars and work with our budget. She ran circles around the lot collecting cars for us to look at. We spent two days driving around with Andrea before making our decision. She is friendly, patient and HARD WORKING! and Ben Davis has very competitive prices.

I am not happy with Ben Davis used car dept. I found a auto on cars.com and then contacted the dealer. I spoke with a salesman Anthony. And he said the vehicle was available. and we talked price. So I make an appointment to see the car and buy it if what he said was true. The appointment was for 9AM on the 5th of July. I drove from Kalamazoo, Mi. to Auburn, In. 1hr and 30 minutes. one way. I got their about 9 AM. And Anthony said the car is not on the lot. This did not make be happy. I then talk to Ron Coen, Sales manager, He located the vehicle and said it would take at least 3/4 of an hour to get the vehicle. We waited. When the vehicle arrived We found the following. I was told by Anthony the this was a nonsmoker vehicle and it is on car.com as a nonsmoker venicle. Cigarette butts and wrappers in vehicle and it smelled like smoke. We were told that the vehicle has 27,000 mile on it. (also on car.com) The car has 32,000 plus. The rear bumper has dings on it and also the interior seats were soiled and the car was just plain dirty. I would not trust Ben Davis and his salesmen. Any questions? Jerry Best.

The quality of work from this places is unsatisfactory. Had some paint work done and was told that the swirls would go away once I waxed it. Really, you do a paint job and don't even wax it before giving to customer. Don't expect them to do anything over the phone either. They always want you to bring in your vehicle before they will help you. Good luck with getting a call back also.

I went to look at used cars at Ben Davis and had a very bad experince there.. My salesman was Steve ,we had spoke on the phone earlier and he said he would be in the new store. As I sat at his desk in the new store, he said he had a car for me to see, too relax and he would be right back.When he got up a boss or co-worker ? said twice "you need to get them out of here and take them to the other store" First of all he could had told him that in private,YES he said that right in front of us! And second..maybe I wasn't dressed up enough for this guy standards but that didn't mean that I didn't have money to buy a car,new or used!Very unprofessional and with rude service like that I don't why people go there!! I will never go back there and they lost my business forever! I'm happy to say I did end up buying a 2014 car from another dealership that treated me with repect! Steve the salesman at Ben Davis was very nice and did take time to try to find a car for me but I lost interest in buying anything there after being treated like trash!

In July 2013, I returned from a trip to New Mexico where Chevy was running its end-of-the-year sales. I spoke to Steve Munger to inform him that my 2010 Honda FIT was coming off lease in December 2013, and asked him to let me know when Ben Davis was having its sale. Steve immediately got to work and within five days, I had a brand new 2013 Chevy Cruze LT in Crystal Red Metallic. (Steve had made a mother's dream come true in 2012 when he worked out a deal to surprise my son with a Black 2012 Chevy Cruze LT. My son has loved his Cruze so much that I decided to lease a Cruze as well...if the price was right.) Steve, with the help of the Ben Davis staff, set up the financing in both cases. Usually, trading in one car for another is a nerve-racking experience. However, Steve made both of our experiences agreeable and pleasant. We've had two oustanding experiences so far. Keep up the good work in creating wonderful memories for your customers!

A few years ago when I purchased my used Buick, I decided this senior citizen has been taken advantage of. So I talked to Mr. Davis, the owner. He listened to me and then called the service manager, Mr. Mark Rossi, in to talk with me. Both of them made up for what I had perceived as "something not quite right". Mr. Rossi then told me that whenever I needed to bring the car in for service or for some repair I should contact him. He has been so caring and helpful. I now feel so secure in the knowledge that my car is being cared for to the best of everyone's ability, and if Mr. Rossi says something needs to be done, I know that yes, it does need to be done. If I should be fortunate enough at some future time to be able to buy a newer car, you can be sure there is only one place I will go, and that is to Ben Davis!

I do think it was a dissapointment that after buying a $27K H3 the gas tank was not filled and the vehichle was not detailed, When I bought 2 new cars and one used one from Kirk Chevrolete in Elkhart and one at Tom Naquins this was not even something I asked for they just did it. After speaking with several friends and family members this was always something dealers did for new or used purchases.

Larry was wonderful to work through buying a car. He was very patient. He showed me how different parts of the car worked...he might have to show me some again.He took a lot of time and effort to help me purchase the Enclave. I picked up the car after dark. The next day I noticed an oddity about the Enclave. The steering wheel has the dark wood look, but the rest of the wood-look is much lighter. Being a woman, it really bugs me Buick didn't match all the wood-look like they did in my Rendezvous. I'm also still trying to get the garage door opener to work from the Enclave.Everything else is great and I'm looking forward to having the hitch added.

I ran into a deer. My car was immediately taken to the Ben Davis body shop. They were extremely friendly and very courteous. I had looked on the internet for a replacement car. The salesman Mike Haefer listen to what I was looking for in an auto, he let me test drive a 2013 Malibu and Equlinox. Mike suggested the Equlinox, but I said no way until he told me about the gas mileage it gets and I was looking to lease this time and Equlinox had a great lease offer. After 1.5 weeks checking out different auto, I decided on the Equlinox . Then Mike introduced me to Ryan Smith to go over different leases. I went with the 36 months lease from Ally. There was a problem with the contract, but Ally took care of the problem and send me a letter to hold on to for the end of the lease, with the option to buy.

I came into the dealer and told the salesman exactly what I was looking for. He did not waste my time trying to sell me a car that wasn't what I had asked for. He immediately showed me two cars that met the description I had given him. I drove it, played with the gadgets the car had, they let me go home and talk it over with no obligation to come back and no annoying hassling phone calls asking me when I would be stopping by again for the car. Needless to say, I returned the next day and drove home in less than hour with my brand new Chevy Cruze.

My wife and I purchased a used vehicle, trading in a car. We purchased the vehicle on a Wednesday, we already had the final payment for our car scheduled on Friday. We were told that we needed to pay Ben Davis the $376.67 and cancel the payment to the bank, so the title would go to Ben Davis. I then paid the $376.67 to Ben Davis on the spot and we purchased the used vehicle. We then called the bank and tried to cancel the payment on Thursday. We were told the payment was pending and couldnt be canceled. I then called and talked to the gentleman in the finance department and he said to just bring in the title when we got it and they would cut us a check for $376.67. On the following Friday we receive the title. I promptly called the finance department and talked with Ryan. Who of course had no idea what I was talking about and was not very friendly. He then told me that he would try to have a check for me on Saturday and would call me. He then called me on Saturday at 9am and told me he didnt have a check but would call me on Monday. On Monday Ryan called me and told me that they couldnt give me the money that he talked to the bank and we had to get the money from them. I promptly called the bank and was told the complete opposite story. I then called Ryan back and the again, not very friendly told me that they would do the leg work as if he was doing me a favor, and that he would call me back the next day. Of course there was no call. So Wednesday I drove to Ben Davids and dropped off the title. I told my entire story to a gentalman there who told me that Thomas Hirchak would call me the next day and they would have a check in the mail. And as you have guessed Thomas never calledSo I have been lied to multiple times. I have been given the run around. I have been treated poorly and Ben Davis still owes me $376.67, which they have owed me now for 15 days.

I had the front end aligned on my vehicle. A short time later I noticed extreme wear on the outside edged of both new front tires. I took my vehicle to another shop which showed me that the caster and camber adjustments had never been changed. The vehicle was never aligned. I was charged $100 for nothing. This was a vehicle that I had purchased new from Ben Davis Chevrolet. I will never return to Ben Davis Chevorlet and have advised others to do the same. I have stopped 3 new car sales and advised others to avoid Ben Davis Service Department.

One afternoon took the vehicle in for an oil change, the guy asked is there anything else I can do for you today, I said tell me what the noise is. Great experience. I bought a new Silverado recently and the staff was great. No one was pressuring me into buying any financing packages or any particular vehicle. I was slow in making my decision and they made sure I was comfortable before committing to a 2011 loaded Silverado. Service bay is very nice, pull in and drop your car off, no smelling like oil or gas, where you leave your car is completely separate from the work which is a huge improvement over other dealers for me. Can't be happier with this dealership, they've gone out of their way to make me a satisfied customer and I'll definitely be back.

Sales staff good. Quality of service very poor. Too many mistakes on service shows thay are pretty incompetent in the service area. Even the simple things that have been done for me have been handled ineptly. "Bend Over Davis" is the local descripter of their service dept. The service dept assumes the customer is uneducated and are to be taken advantage of. If more customers would actually check the work Ben Davis was supposed to do correctly they might find out they did not get the work as promised or they did it incorrectly. When questions or comments are sent to the service dept, they go unanswered. They do not care about the customer so I will no longer have my car serviced there.
