Went to Kia for an oil change and decided to look at new cars. Decided on a car, and after much negotiation agreed on a price. Looked over the final paperwork and noticed they changed the figures and added $6000.00 to the final cost. It is a good thing I wrote everything down while negotiating so I could remember/compare what was said. Four hours later came home in the old car...but that's OK! BUYER BEWARE!-

Had scheduled service and tire rotation. Done to satisfaction and during the expected time (a little over an hour). I am happy with the service person who spoke with myself and kept me updated. I did miss being offered water/snacks like the last time I was there. All was well though. Would recommend.

I came in for a issue with my battery. I have FREE batteries and tires for the life of the car. It happened to be about 1/2 and hour prior to the service dept. closing at the Fort Pierce Kia dealership. I was told that my battery was fine and maybe it just needed a break. Did I mention I'm a female . I was treated as if I knew nothing about automobiles and/or how they worked. He told me that they needed to charge the battery as if I didn't know that's the job of the alternator. I didn't argue with them. I just left. The next day early in the morning attempted to start the car noticed the same problem. Took jumper cables with me in case I became stranded. I drove it to the Kia Stuart Service department where they checked the battery and determined it was bad and replaced it. They also noticed two of my tires needed to be replaced . Those are the same two tires the service department in Fort Pierce stated a month ago were good !!!!! So I would definitely say the Fort Pierce service department has a serious issue determining what's good and what's bad which could leave a woman like myself stranded on the side the road not a good thing

Our experience with Kia this past weekend was phenomenal. We came in for a service but left with a brand new Optima lease. I must say every time we come there your customer service is excellentfrom the drive in until the drive outthe service technicians, the office personnel who makes sure that everyone has a snack and a drink, to the salesmen, detailers, and the finance manager. I have to acknowledge the two gentlemen we spent the most time with and who assisted us on last Friday, Cameron Henderson and Maurice Sumpter. Both were outstanding. These two young men are a dynamic duo. Team players to the max! They work so well together. They exemplified the epitome of customer service and satisfaction. Stellar! All of your personnel were wonderful; but, Cameron and Maurice really did an excellent job. You should be so proud they are representing Kia well. We were kept comfortable, hydrated, refreshed, updated, etc. Again, Stellar customer service. Thank you for a wonderful customer experience.

I want to state that this is not the first car we have purchased from your dealership, in fact this is the fourth car. We have always felt that we mattered, that is why we are return customers.The salesman did a good job selling the car. He had all the items we wanted done. The only problem we had was when Rodney Gallagher had the salesman remove my Disabled license plate and put on a regular tag. He told me to go to the Motor Vehicle department and that they would give me another Disabled tag. The next morning I call the DMV and was told the dealer had to attach the Disabled plate. I called Rodney and he told me the DMV was wrong and that I should argue with them. We then drove to the dealership and the salesman put the proper plate on my car. However he did not give me a new registration with the vin # matching the registration card. We drove into town to the DMV, spoke to a supervisor and was told the the Disabled was mine and should not have been taken away by the Dealer. She further said that they could not correct the registration card it had to be done by the dealer. I called the dealership, spoke to the salesman and told him of the problem, he said it was up to Rodney to correct the problem. We drove back to the dealership and was finally given the correct registration. We were not pleased to have to drive back and forth because Rodney did not know the required action for Disabled tags.

I came in for an oil change and to see if I could change out the rubber around my windows due to a little fading. I was told a few months ago by someone at the dealership that it was no problem to be done and that it would be handled when I did my oil change. When I had my oil change the service guy said that I can not get it done because it is not warrantied. It was a little disappointing considering I was told it could be done. Other than that one incident I've never had any problems with Kia at all and would send everyone I know there.

Bill Gent gave me sound advice on recommended service. He checked to make sure my car's radio was up to date after I described a bluetooth issue connecting a new phone. Once my service was completed he was thoughtful enough to check and make sure I had connected the phone properly. it turned out I had missed a necessary step and the phone connected fine with the radio. He even installed a new steering wheel cover I purchased in the parts department. Great customer service keeps me coming back to Bev Smith KIA.

Over all a good visit, my main concern is that I had an appointment for anow oil change and tire rotation. When I arrived I was told fairly accurately that this would take approx. 90 minutes.what I do not understand is why this simple service took so long. If I did not have an appointment it would be understandable, even pretty quick service attached many places, but with an appointment I think approx 30 minutes should be sufficient.

Frank was our salesman. He worked very hard to find us the best lease that would fit into our budget. Alas!!!! He did He was well experienced in a Kia. Explained everything inside and outside We were there for at least 4 hours and he made us comfortable by offering Coffee or water or soda. We were getting hungry and we're going to go and get lunch waiting for all the paperwork and Frank came back with a sandwich and so thing to drink. I would recommend Kia and Frank to all.

Just had my first FREE battery change in this car, which is my 2nd one overall at Bev Smith Kia. I had a 2010 Soul years ago. Just like last time the experience was fantastic. I paid only for the installation, which was about $65 less than the cheapest battery I found elsewhere for my Optima. I drive all the way from Sebastian just to go to Bev Smith because they've been great ever since I bought my old Soul back in 2009.

He also suggested a couple of ideas for improving the already excellent performance of the car. I have always been happy with the service I've had a Bev Smith Kia, However this last visit. I was told I no longer qualified for the free tires and batteries for life program, because I was over due for an oil change/service. I explained that I work a crazy amount of hours and it's very difficult to get into the dealership to spend an hour and a half to two hours on an oil change..... I do not have the free time I once did. I have been a loyal customer as this is my third Kia with this dealership. ( I would think that would mean something... I guess not) so now I no longer have the free tires/tires for life ....just when my suv will need then soon. Way to go KIA .... I guess my business will be welcome elsewhere.

But I've bought new cars before and at most stores when you buy a car the salesman hands you the keys and basically leaves you with a car you barely know how to use. Not here, after I bought my car Scott paired me with Rondell Benton. Rondell was super informative and nice. Showed me how to use all buttons and all the new technology that are in new cars today. He was super patient on times where I just didn't get it. It really made the experience so much better!

Everyone was very polite and considerate. My only complaint is how long the service took. I had a 10:00 app. and was told it would take an 1 1/4 hours. To me this is entirely too long for a scheduled appt for an oil change and tire rotation. Then it took another 1/2 hour to repair a wiring problem in my visor. I bought 4 cars from Ben Smith Toyota and never waited this long for a scheduled appt.

I had an appointment at a later time and I was allowed to leave my car early so that I could do what I needed to do. My car was done earlier than my appointment and they did a very good job. I was given instructions as to what I needed to do next time and exactly how much it would cost out of pocket. I appreciate it that as other places don't really give you an exact amount. I also liked that they inspect your car before taking it in and tell you what they find.

My Last 3 New Vehicle purchases had been Ford. So when we were on the market again we went straight to Ford, found a vehicle but My husband and I could not close the deal with Ford. We left the Ford Dealer and stopped at Bev Smith Kia to have a look. Bev Smith Kia was recommended to us by a close friend and now We know why. We were completely impressed from the start to finish of our time at Bev Smith Kia. The first thing we noticed was the showroom was full of customers. There were so many customers inside that my husband asked if they were giving something away. We were told "No, we are this busy every Saturday". That told us that something must be right if they can garner that many people for car shopping without gimmicks. Now that we have completed our purchase, we can honestly say it was a great experience from start to finish. From Eric Dunn, Sales Manager who made first contact with us. Listened to what we were looking for and sent over Andre Logan, Sales Associate. Andre listened to what we wanted, reviewed his inventory and took us to a 2016 Sorento he thought might work for us. While test driving the Sorento, Andre demonstrated his knowledge of Kia and the many benefits of being a Kia customer. In addition to explaining some of the features, Andre continued to listen to what we were looking for. Andre did not try to switch what we wanted instead he showed us all the options Bev Smith Kia had for us to choose from. As it turned out, the Sorento we test drove became the Sorento in our driveway. The process of making the deal for the Sorento was not stressful, which shocked us. It did not take long to make the deal because they did not play the usual games and of course we had the advantage of the internet and not only could research the pricing but also the quality of the Kia Sorento. My husband and I were impressed by the fact that everywhere we looked online the Kia Sorento was rated higher than any of the three models of 2016 Ford vehicles we originally looked at. Once we made the deal and sat with Eric Dunn again to finalize the details of the purchase again impressed by Eric's demeanor and the way he listened to what we were saying. From there we went to Finance and met with Todd Dran and continued to be impressed. Todd was able to take the pain out this part of the process. Todd has a great personality and being experienced in his position, he was able to carry-on a conversation with us while entering and printing all of the information. Todd truly made the time consuming process of financing almost enjoyable. By the time we finished Todd felt like an old friend. The next person we met was Delivery Specialist Randell Benton. Randell was a dream, he knew how to operate all the new features of our Sorento and he showed my husband and I how to use them ourselves and he really helped by setting up our phones.From top to bottom or Start to Finish we had a great experience. Nobody likes to sit around and wait for a car to be repaired, but Bev Smith Kia try to make it as pleasant as possible. Of course there is a TV. They also stock a variety of coffee and other drinks plus muffins and other snacks. Also, they check regularly to see if anyone wishes a bottle of water.I had nicked a tire on my low-mileage car, so that had to be replaced. Not the cheapest, but hopefully good quality. But since I had not been in for a while they performed a number of other standard checkups and changes, at no additional charge, including a new cabin air filter (always needed in humid Florida.)Though they were at the end of a long, busy day, they were pleasant and answered my questions cheerfully.

He is great too!! I did buy my car on July 4 and Frank Negron did sell me the car, is why I speak so highly of this person. Frank went out of his way and took me home after my other car didn't start I never met anyone like this it was memorable. The next day he tried very hard to get me even in a used car which I ended up getting. I won't ever go to another dealership if it isn't this one. Thank you Frank... Great process for getting a new "leased"car. Bev Smith outstanding in this regard. Angelo always goes above & beyond to get the car we want (color, interior, model, etc.). He makes things happen, and because of this ,we have our 3rd Kia Optima, a beautiful SXL. He spends the time with you to make sure everything is the way you want it. On delivery day he explains all the features of the car, and then pairs our cell phone to the "Bluetooth". As we drive away we already have full phone operation. This is the kind of service you hope for, but today almost never get at a dealer. Keep up the good work as by far you are the number 1 dealership in our area of Florida.

Overall ir was a very good experience. Everyone in the customer waiting area were in good moods and had a couple of good conversations and that made the time pass quickly. Later I was at the local Honda dealership and the difference in the way the customers were treated was very different. Several times at the Kia dealership someone came around asking if we wanted something to drink or eat. That didn't happen at Honda.

Bev Smith KIA is my local dealer who I wasted my time with because the Sales intern Derrick tried very hard to find us the car we wanted. The issue is that on all three opportunities this dealership tried to take advantage of me as a customer. I shared what I expected and inevry case they could not quote what I new to be a fair price. The last quote represented 4.9% interest for 72 months at $510 for a sportage. I know they can provide .9% and with my credit score of 846/823/816 they did not provide a good expierence. I told them I could get the vehicle for 60 months at.9% which I did with dealer rebates I got the same car at almost $6000 less. I would not ever trust this delarship again and will tell all that ask me the expierence we had. Absolutely the worst dealership I have ever dealt with because thy had 3 times to see I knew a little bit about what I expected and got from another dealership. The very next day I had my car and what I expected to pay.

I drive 25 minutes just to get my new Kia services at this specific dealership and I live less then 4 minutes from another dealership in Stuart, but I was not impressed by their snobbish attitudes. I feel like I am at home whenever I go to Bev Smith Kia in Fort Pierce. They are always checking in on you and offering you sandwiches and snacks. They never pressure me into getting anything other than what I came for and that makes me feel that they respect me and my decisions.

Kia has tried very hard to help me with my repair issues, however, they do have a problem with communicating the repair needs to those who will actually work on the car.I have been in four times to have my tail gate closure fixed. The fourth time they asked me to leave my car with them so they could further assess the problem over a period of time. They gave me a loaner and kept my car for five days. When I returned to pick up my car they told me they repeatedly checked the tail gate and it seemed to now be operating correctly. As soon as I arrived home with my car I gave the tail gate button a try...it did not operate correctly. IT WILL NOT LATCH all the way upon power closure. You still have to manually push on the door itself to get it to lock and turn off the inside light. At this point I have just given up on it ever working correctly.The other repair issue I had was replacing the turn signal lens on the passenger side view mirror. This damage to the lens was my fault. I took the car in when they told me they had the part. After waiting for at least an hour and a half they came and told me the turn signal lens for the passenger side side view mirror was in a mis-marked box and they had mistakenly ordered a driver side turn signal lens. So we made arrangements for them to replace the passenger turn signal lens while they had my car for five day to work on the tail gate latch problem. When I returned the loaner car that Kia gave me for the five days I wrote them a check to pay for the labor and signal lens replacement. I, then, walked over to my Kia to look at the replacement turn signal lens. It hadn't been replaced or fixed. I called the customer service agent over and showed him it had not been replaced or repaired. He immediately went into the service area to ask about it and was told by someone in the garage area that the replacement/repair was never noted on the work order. Here is where I see a lack of communication. I now have my car back and the turn signal lens is repair/replaced BUT I will have to live with the tail gate issue since it appears it will never operate correctly. Nobody seems to know what is wrong or how to repair it. I believe it is probably a glitch in my car and although Kia has tried to correct all my repair issues concerning the tail gate, having to make five or six appointments was a little over the top.I will probably buy another Kia at some point and I do feel they did try to make me happy, but there is a lack of communication between the service department work orders and the customer service personal. Kia also called me and told me they would buy me full tank of gas and that never happened either.

I found the Kia dealership in Ft. Pierce to be very pleasant to deal with. The salespeople and also the service people were polite and knowledgeable. Salesperson listened to my criteria for a car and found a Forte that is a good sound car. Good pep for exceleration and a very comfortable ride. The only negative is that the Bluetooth doesn't respond to my voice most of the time. I have been to the dealership to reprogram it, but it hasn't seemed to help.

I liked and would have bought the car he showed me, but the pressure was too much. These two salesmen should know that a person who comes to their lot is there shopping for a car. A mature person doesn't need to be sold a car if they know what they want. Salesmen should know how to approach people of different ages.

Researched cars online and found a vehicle I liked but they didn't have it in stock. They worked with me to find one I liked and when one arrived in a color I didn't want switched it out for what I wanted. Much to my surprise when I closed the deal the percentage rate was a point less than I was quoted. They offered me a reasonable trade and overall I am pleased with the deal I have and very impressed with the service. When I declined the additional packages the finance person was seriously disappointed but maintained a professional demeanor and did not try a hard sell. I would definitely recommend this dealer and will return when I'm ready to purchase again.

I leased a 2011 Kia Sorento from this dealer, I decided to use the end of lease purchase option in my lease contract. That contract contained a purchase price of $13636.70, plus $150.00 end of lease fee, and taxes tags and transfer fees. The finance manager presented me with a paper attempting to extort a "market value"price of $15727.35, and a $1895.00 charge to "certify the vehicle, (that this same dealership maintained under the manufactures warranty schedule and the extra service warranty that I purchased. They also wanted to charge me $698.50, Pre -delivery service fee, ( duplication of the fee I paid when I took delivery of the lease vehicle), and the taxes and title fees. Total price of $17551.25When I pointed out my contract fee schedule the manager, (i think his name is Jeff) informed me he is in business to make money, he has to keep the lights on and pay employees, that he has been doing this for 17 years, and if I didn't like it to deal directly with Kia Finance.I wrote a letter to him and copied to Kia Finance, requesting the legal reason why I should pay more than the contactual amount.Michelle at Kia finance was very helpful, she agreed that my position was correct, she assigned a agent to follow up with the Dealer, two weeks have passed and that dealer has not responded to me or to Kia finance.I have resolved the issue with the assistance of the local Mercedes dealer, (Coggin Mercedes Benz) paying only $150 over contract price for a state required safety inspection.
