I had a phenomenal experience with Brendon and Andy. From the moment I walked in they both greeted me warmly and although they were busy doing other things they still made sure to let me know they will assist me as soon as they can, so I appreciated that respectful communication. I came in late evening after work (and they both stayed after close to help me with out complaint! ) and Brendon took his time to first let me test drive my initial interest, explaining details of the car then listened to my concerns and after I expressed interest in another model he got right to work to find me my options. I appreciated that he cared about what would work best for me and also went above and beyond to educate me through the process. Andy also went above and beyond on his end, he not only rigorously tried to get me the best deal but he told me ways I could get a better deal and was patient as I found the documents needed and worked his magic! These two were outstanding and will do everything they can to help you, they made my first time car buying experience smooth! They were both very client centered and not money driven and for that they will have returning customers in my family and I !

Superb, outstanding, amazing!!!! Having had a recent, horrific experience with another Volvo dealership, I was ready to jump brands. This was hard for me to do since I have owned six Volvo's consecutively and love the brand! Then one day I walked into Bill Kidd's Volvo. The energy at the store was very inviting. Nobody came storming towards me as with other dealerships who only see someone as dollar signs or a quota. Sam Masters was my sales person. I cringe at referring to him as a sales person because he was more than that. Sam was extremely knowledgeable about the brand, each Volvo product line and was able to answer every one of my questions. He knew exactly what I wanted so it took no time to select the car for me. Then we moved to the finance department where Andrew MacCord was incredible to work with. Financing a car can create anxiety for the most calm of individuals. "Andy" was masterful at taking every ounce of anxiety out of the equation. The process was so simple. He worked his magic around the computerized desk and before we knew it (literally minutes) the transaction was complete. I was handed the keys and drove off of the lot in my new car. That is not where the transaction ended. Several days later, I returned for Sam to give me an uninterrupted course on the functionality of the car, covering every possible feature. He knows this product inside and out. I am so glad that I chose my 7th Volvo with Bill Kidd's. There is something to be said about a family owned business who treats their customers like family. Thank you Sam and Andy for treating me with respect and dignity which both of you exude.

Explained that it was being looked at to see if the latest Entune upgrade was needed. He explained about a guesstimate of time. And he came about 1 hr and 15 minutes later to say car was ready. I had a screw in my tire. I called to see if I could come in and initially was told they were booked and couldn't look at my car for two days. I told them I was going to try to go somewhere else. When I went to a tire store they didn't have my tires. I called Biil Kidd's back and talked to Dean. He told me to come back because they had the tires . They couldn't do the job till the next day and they would work it in to their schedule. Dean also helped me get a rental car .I give Dean and everyone involved high marks for customer service.

I always leave feeling better that the car is ready to go. Dean recently went out of his way to replace the rusty bolts on my 12 year old S-60 with new stainless steel bolts. It looks much better!

The professionalism and knowledge that Dennis Margroum demonstrated was the deciding factor. Added to this, he was intuitive (arranged for a car to be there that he thought I was interested in buying). He was available when I needed to visit. If there was something that I needed and he was busy, he was sure to have someone else step in.The dealership seems to have a large inventory and a willingness to put the customer first and at ease. Had my car repaired and the bill summed up to thousands of dollars. When it was time to get the car and pay for the bill, we told Amanda Hebb, a Volvo assistant service manager, that we were going to use our extended warranty. She was not happy about it and she really showed it to us. She kept on saying that it is a lot of work. She also said some insulting words. Her demeanor was very unprofessional especially for her job which is about customer service. It seemed that she doesn't want to do her job. Her action, her manners, the way she talks to customers is not suited for this kind of job. We will not be returning to Bill Kidd's Volvo Service Center if there is still an Amanda Hebb or if the customer service will not improve.

I appreciate that there was a disconnect between the appointment maker and myself when setting up the appointment that my "waiting" appointment would be 3-4 hours since it was our 90K appointment. Recognizing that I had my 9 year old with me, Thomas suggested that he may be able to arrange a loaner car which he did. I really appreciate the extra effort because it really alleviate the immediate situation as well as an unforeseen family "emergency" that developed that I was in position to help with. Our saleswoman, Debbie, was excellent. She was knowledgeable about the vehicle we bought, did not engage in any tricky sales tactics, and was very up front with us. She said her philosophy on sales was this: "It's not rocket science. Just treat people how you would want to be treated, and they'll respond the same way to you." She definitely did that, and I really enjoyed buying from her. My wife and I drove nearly 2 hours to look at the vehicle, and it was well worth the drive.

The oil leak was so severe that Bill Kidd had to add 2 qt engine oils to fill. They did this completely free for me and referred me back to the previous dealer.

Steve Migash was extremely knowledgeable about the Volvo models, features, and options and very quickly helped me narrow down on the model and options that I wanted. He helped me on the test drives. And he never pushed me faster than I wanted to move, even after I told him I was also checking out Audi's and BMW's, and needed to engage my wife in the decision, too. Wayne provided backup when Steve was not available, and Paul was very straightforward on negotiating the final price and trade-in.

My Vovlo V50 is now six years old, and has almost 90,000 miles. The extended warranty has expired, and most recently, I needed the 90,000 mile checkup, tires, and brakes. So the estimate was high. I shopped around for a new car, and then I remembered that I already own a great car, and that the Bill Kidd's service department is one that I trust. the new farm incentives can't replace that, unless, I guess, if it is another Volvo. refer to customer 56967. 8/19/15. Karl Cook is the service rep., and is very responsive, and explained every detail pertinent to these repairs. Good guy. Like your other reps, I trust his judgment, and paying this bill, while not ever pleasant, was certainly not painful, because it was fair, and I know that I got full value. Thanks to the mechanic also, who suggested the fuel induction service,which probably will keep me from being stranded someplace. After the car was delivered to the dealership Mike Thornton spent several hours explaining all the features of the Rav 4, which are many. He even set up all the radio stations for me (which were many), reset the power liftgate to open to my chosen height and explained everything on the dashboard. A warning to anyone considering buying a car from Bill Kidds DONT! After the sale forget about help, customer support, or responsibility There is NONE! We financed our brand new car through the dealer and THEY made a major mistake on the paperwork they submitted to Toyota Financial which caused serious problems, ultimately affecting our credit report. When we confronted Bill Kidds to straighten this out, they did not call us. We had to go in person to get anyone to help us fix THEIR mistake that they chose to ignore until we confronted them. Even then we were told to deal with it on our own and that it was not their problem. Never returns calls, no help, no accountability, no compensation NOTHING. If problems arise you are truly on your own. If you are buying a Toyota use another dealer Bill Kidds is just not worth the risk.

My contact with Bill Kidd's started with an inquiry through their website, asking what it would *actually* cost me to buy a specific car from them. Mike Thornton responded very promptly, detailing an itemization of base price, delivery, processing, tax, tags/title, TFS rebate, also mentioning exact figures for federal and state tax credits, showing the bottom line cost to me and explicitly stating that there were NO extra charges that I would suddenly discover once I came in. He wasn't pushy - no "when can we get you in here?" - just "here's the information, if it's attractive please let us know." All of that in his first email - what a time-saver! *That* felt like true customer focus. Once he dropped the price closer to another dealer's offer, I decided to pursue purchasing from Bill Kidd's. Mike responded to almost every email I sent within 10 minutes (even close to midnight), often supplying information or making suggestions that saved me even more time (sending a link to the financing application, having me scan/send license/insurance info before I came in, etc.) His being proactive about these issues made the process even more efficient. After the test drive, I was done with paperwork in less than an hour; consistent with Mike's straightforward, non-pushy manner via email, there was no attempt to get me to buy anything extra at the dealership. I'm one of those odd characters who actually *likes* haggling with car sales people in person, so it was a little anticlimactic to have such an efficient, all-email experience that focused completely on what I needed to know to make an informed decision, with zero pressure to buy from them. But it was a great experience, and, paradoxically, Mike's zero-pressure approach was what made me choose to buy from them. I would recommend Mike without hesitation.

I've purchased numerous new cars in my lifetime but have never had a dealership go so far to take care of me and my wife! I had a particular, rare car that I wanted bad, V60 R-Design in blue, and nothing else would satisfy me. From researching I knew there were only a few in the entire country but unfortunately nothing local. Regardless, I thought I'd try Bill Kidd's, since my wife and father-in-law had good experiences there in the past, and see if they could help me. From the time I inquired about this car to Paul in the morning, to the time I got off work later that day, somehow my dream Volvo managed to materialize in front of Bill Kidd's! We drove to the dealership at 6pm and there it was, shiny and, well, PERFECT!! Apparently Paul and gang were able to locate the car I wanted out of state, send someone all the way up there to then turn-around and drive it back in time to be spiffied-up and ready for us that evening! Wow!! Did I mention New Jersey turnpike Friday rush hour! A short time later, after taking care of the paperwork, oh and getting a great deal on a rare car and color and a big discount on the extended warranty, my wife and I were off to dinner (with huge smiles) in our awesome new Volvo sport wagon! I brought my Toyota in for repairs. The entire process was very streamlined. I was met by Curt Cullison who took time to listen to all of my concerns. He went out of his way to address them all and checked in with me periodically to let me know how the repairs were progressing. I was given a list of what needed to be done and what wasn't necessary. After a short period time, all of the problems had been completed. I felt very confident in his expertise. His demeanor and degree of professionalism enhanced the experience. The waiting room and the rest of the facilities were spotless and comfortable. (The coffee was excellent.) I'm looking forward to my next visit. Thank you Curt, Judy

This was the second car I have purchased from Bill Kidd's. My first purchase was a Toyota and my second a Volvo. Both cars were new cars. I arrived not planning to purchase a car but just to shop around and ended up purchasing a certified pre-owned Volvo. I was a little hesitant at first as this was my first time purchasing a pre-owned vehicle but I love it! It was a present to myself for my birthday! I have been a loyal customer for many years and was treated as such from the moment I walked into the showroom. I really appreciated the no haggle atmosphere and that was instrumental in making my decision to purchase the car. Thank you to everyone involved in making my purchase a wonderful experience!

As a former resident of Bel Air and current resident of Delaware, I haven't had the opportunity to experience the " Bill Kidd" service prior to this month. Everything was top notch including the detailed explaination from Dean Marino. He took his time and went over everything until I understood it all. My only problem is with VOLVO and their stanch refusal to step up to the plate and admit their was a design problem with the sunroof drain lines, and their lack of any notice to the owners about how to remedy and eliminate future MAJOR EXPENSES caused by the water leakage and moisture related problems. The fix is quite simple and can be preformed in less that 30 minutes, but if you don't know it's a design problem then you can't fix it. I finally went on line and discovered NUMEROUS xc90 owners who were experiencing the same problem. VOLVO refuses to do anything to help, cover any of the expenses caused by their design shortcomings. I'm thinking about joining the pending class action suit, which was recently approved by the courts.

I have 4 suggestions for you from one who has experienced service at valley Mercedes and the stuart Florida Toyota dealership. 1. The quiet room should be just that. No loud conversations or talking on cell phones. Text and computer are expected 2. Coffee bar should be more attractive with a basket of snacks provided, rather than being bought from a vending machine.. 3. I am also used to my previous cars being returned clean inside and out. That was a real disappointment. They may have done the outside but because do the rain I couldn't tell interior hadn't been touched 4. I needed help setting up my GPS screen when not in use. The first person had no clue and called over someone who should have known. He absolutely couldn't figure it out, so I just left. When I have time, I will take it back to the dealership to have my sales person set it for me. As you can tell from my comments, the service itself for my 10,000 mile check-up was excellent, but the above could use some improvement with a nicer cleaner lounge area(not even a waste basket in the quiet room, so I had to go back out side to throw my cup away). Waiting areas just drab. I am not sure you have taught your personnel about the new Prius Hybrid as two of your service personnel didn't have a clue. Thank you for the men that did the actual work on my car.

I just bought a new Sienna from Don Soltys. Don was the main reason I purchased the van from Bill Kidd's. He was competent, professional yet easy to work with. There was no pressure at any time, which by itself was worth dealing with him. When i was unable to speak with him by phone he offered the option of texting which worked out well. We actually closed the deal via texts. The climate of the showroom was not conducive to much more than sweating off a few pounds however we made it through the experience a little lighter in the wallet and waist. As I told Don, i will and have already, referred friends to purchase their next Toyota from Don Soltys at Bill Kidd's.

The check engine line illuminated and I requested to have the code read to determine the cause. The first mechanic wrote: sensor heater code P 1155 .5 code pull and needs to be repaired in near future not urgent. The service writer was too busy to get the specifics on the code. I requested to have specific information regarding what needed to be repaired. A second mechanic then provided us with additional information about the bank 2 sensor 1 and the front sensor heater circuit malfunction and I received a verbal estimate of $510.60. Once I received my car back not only with the check engine line shining but now the trac light was on which wasnt on when I initially gave my car to the dealership. A third technician attempted to correct the problem that wasn't there when the car was brought in and couldn't do it. Now the problem of both lights illuminating was the way I received my car back from the dealership when the car was brought in with just the check engine light illuminating. This dealership has had a problem with good customer service throughout my entire experience coming to this dealership. Moral of the story avoid this dealership at all cost.

I recently purchased a certified used Venza from Bill Kidd's and discovered a problem with the sound quality of the radio system. I took the car to my assigned service team in the service department just to get their quick opinion (I hadn't made an appointment) and my car was immediately examined by two technicians in the service lane. A problem was confirmed, and an appointment was made to further examine the root cause of lack of base quality to the sound. The problem was subsequently identified and remediated. During this entire process, both men were courteous, professional and responsive to my issue. I highly recommend both the purchase of a certified vehicle from Bill Kidd's (they stand behind the certification) and use of their service department!

I'm glad that I stopped at Bill Kidd's Volvo. I have always hated car buying/looking time...what a hassle. Not with Bill Kidd's. They are a friendly, professional and "no hassle" group of people who can't do enough to make the car buying experience a pleasure. Scheduled an appointment at Bill Kidds to have a Toyota recall for the rear suspension on my 09 Rav4 completed and have my transmission looked over, because since I got the transmission fluid changed at another Toyota dealer it shifts abruptly on rare occasions. The friendly mechanic, Ari, checked the transmission and noticed a slight rattle at 25 to 35 mph and went ahead and updated the software in the car (there was about 25 miles left on the warranty!) and upon looking at the service history informed me that the transmission fluid had only been drained and filled, not changed (i.e. flushed and filled) by the previous dealer as I had requested and expected, because the service record he said only recorded having used 4 quarts of transmission fluid. To my surprise, Ari also gave my car a free car wash! Bill Kidds and Ari have definitely won the loyalty of this Toyota owner and will be recommended to everyone I know in the area with a Toyota.

I bought my Volvo from a dealer in Virginia and Bill Kidd's treats me like I bought it there. They arrange all the service I need and meet my specific needs, regardless of how anal-retentive I am, as a car owner. The fact that they're service facility is opened on Saturdays is a big plus, but the best thing is the prices. Having a rather rare Volvo (S60R 6-Speed), you would expect to have ridiculously expensive repairs, but my repairs have been cheaper than that of my newer and cheaper Subaru I used to own. I've only worked with Bob, and I hope to continue only working with Bob. He is honest, incredibly friendly, and knowledgeable when it comes to the product. Best of all, he seems to be looking out for my best interest over where he make the most money. Bill Kidd's is my old Volvo Dealer and I will continue to go here throughout the life of my Volvo.

I was skeptical of having to drive four hours to see it, but based on our phone discussions, I went to have a look. I couldn have been more pleased. Their description of the condition of the car was accurate and it was clean and nicely detailed; the salesperson, who let me test drive the car, was knowledgeable and courteous; and the company was willing to negotiate an acceptable price. They also offered a 1000 mile warranty. I bought the car on the spot. Most importantly, when I did later discover two unexpected problems, they kept their word and resolved the issue. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Bill KiddsVolvo. They are a reputable company as evidenced by their being in business for many years.

This was the first dealership service center or repair shop I've been to in the 40 years I've been driving that I had a vehicle overview done. Just like auto rentals. I appreciated it. It protects the customer and dealer. I've had a few vehicles over the years that have been damaged by the service department. One time my wife picked up the car and noticed a dent in the hood. She stopped and popped the hood and there was a tool on the carberator. She drove back and the dealership service center denied doint the damage. So my wife said you won't mind me keeping the tool left behind then. LOL My car is brand new and just had to take it in for a recall notice but I appreciated the care given to my care.

I drove the volvo S40 I purchased from this dealership 1 time and made a horible noise - fortunately under warranty with volvo. Needed to have the S40 inspected because of living in PA and was told to pass inspection needed to replace the left front strut - the vehicle was inspected by your garage before selling and can't believe this vehicle passed inspection. I left a message for saleslady and sales manager to return my call and neither have returned my call.

My Volvo is 12 years old and still going strong. It has been serviced mostly by Bill Kidds since I bought it, and I've always been happy with the service over the years. They've been straight with me even when it's bad news, and have been fair with my concerns. Also they're accommodating as it concerns getting loaner cars and local rides. It can be more expensive sometimes to have a car dealer serviced, but my experience has been that they usually do have the parts in stock or more readily available than others. I have had the same customer sales rep, Bob Garrish, since I've been going there, and he's been an advocate for me at times and does a nice job of explaining what's going one mechanically. I have been very happy with my experiences and would recommend Bill Kidds Volvo service to others.

With all of the recent yearly repairs I spoke to Dean briefly about buying the rental on this repair visit. He had a gentleman call me that night, we talked. The next day I visited the showroom, spoke to Hans in advance. He had the car on the front lot waiting for me when I arrived. With Hans and Raymond's help I went home that night in my new car. As a Baltimore resident for over 20 years I have consistently heard positive things regarding Bill Kidd from friends and business colleagues who have worked with them. I had identified my vehicle of choice a Volvo S60 prior to our visit so I went to this dealership with the confidence that I would be treated fairly and with respect, we were not disappointed. The no pressure attitude and over all ease during the entire transaction is the best that I have experienced from any car dealership. I highly recommend that you have WAYNE CERNIK guide you through your purchase. Wayne went out of his way to make everything straight forward, then after the deal went above and beyond with a particular request that was out of the norm and required some research on Wayne end. My interaction with the service department has not been involved, I merely went in for a free car wash, however, I did witness the friendly attitude that the front desk professionals extended to other customers I look forward to working with Wayne in the future and would not hesitate to recommend Bill Kidd to anyone. This dealership is indeed top notch.

Although I have not been in the market for a Toyota, I am impressed with their durability and high resale value.
