After doing a lot of research on what car to buy, I went to many dealerships to find my 335i xDrive. I wen to BMW of Bayside expecting to talk to another sales person who would tell me anything I wanted to hear to get me to buy a car. When I first met Dennis, he was extremely nice and enthusiastic. After visiting so many other dealerships, I thought this friendly attitude was all an act to try to get me to buy a car from him. I could not have been more wrong. Dennis was honest about the car, is genuinely interested in the product, and wants to make sure he gets you in the right car. After pointing out some flaws in the car's paint, Dennis talked to his colleague Jonathan to assure me that everything would be fixed by the next day, and we agreed on a price. Never did I feel pressured into a deal, just offered them. If I had to buy another car, I would definitely go back to BMW of Bayside.

Good dealership. Jenn was helpful and answered my questions. If she didn't know she would ask the mechanics and get back to me. The loaner was very nice, a 2014 328xi. Still, I missed my x5 diesel that got similar mileage to a tiny gas car :)Just educate yourself, be an interactive customer. I work in a repair job in an industrial environment and I myself am open to answering questions too. Sometimes if you don't ask a question, we all miss the problem in the first place. It could be as simple as asking if it's a recall or warranty was extended- as Jenn checked for me!

My experience at BMW Bayside, the moment i walked into the dealership, the people were very professional and easy to talk to. I have no knowledge of purchasing car but Jonathan Gutierez and his staff were so amazing they made my purchase experience so awsome. they provided all the details needed to understand the process an how the vehicle functions and well. Came in looking for a 335 after my last one got toatled, Dennis was quick to help. Not only did he find the perfect car for me but he also put through all the paperwork extremely fast and i was able to drive off the lot that day! Dennis went above and beyond what i expected , the next time I or any of my friends go buy a another car itll 1000% be with Dennis, id recommend that if anyone is gonna buy a car to definitely go to him cause the customer service experience was unparalleled to any other dealership!

Car went in for s routine inspection. Of course the car needed 1800.00 of work to get it to pass. The service dept is rude, never calls back and does not communicate with customers while they hold your car hostage. Dealt with Angelo L and Jen O.

I went to them for maintenance and auto body repairs. They referred me to Midland Body Shop where it took them over a month to repair my bumper as it was in an accident. They charged over $10,000 and it took them a month and a half where the BMW customer service rep did not interact with me or follow up and the body Shop kept delivering incorrect delivery dates and information. I finally got my car and BMW service center agreed to credit me one month for my lease and never followed up. The manager Angelo agreed then dropped off the face of the earth and has yet to return one of my 10 calls. When you try to call the service center no one answers the phone for multiple days. Is this the way a customer service center should operate at a luxury car dealership? The answer is no. When I brought my car to the Manhattan service center it was a completely different experience, as in Great experience!

My wife and I decided to visit the Bayside showroom on a whim. Upon entering the premises, we were greeted with enthusiasm. The vibe in the showroom was relaxed. All of our concerns were addressed which translated into a smooth / exciting test drive. Every staff member we encountered was attentive and responsive. Dennis (our sales rep) is a consummate people-person which made the process enjoyable. John is a superb manager. He was instrumental in the negotiation process. Although we were not expecting to lease the BMW X3 that day, the professionalism and positive energy was infectious. Thank you Dennis for your dedicated efforts to make a dream come true.

I leased my BMW x4 back in April this year, and it had a problem (already) at the bracket of the car. I brought my car at their service center last Friday and they got me a loaner car - which was a BMW 328i. They had me signed a yellow paper saying that the loaner car was delivered to me in perfect condition. I am not a Professional on cars, I thought everything on the car was perfect. After a week, they told me to come back and pick up my x4. So I went back today, 7/29/2016, and also drove my loaner car back. The staff had me pulled up the car and registered at the front desk. They had me waited at the lobby for about 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, Shana C., a loaner car advisor, walked me to the loaner car that I had and told me that, the car was damaged. She showed me a 1cm dent on the front bumper of their loaner car (please check the image that I posted as the comments of this review) and told me that I am responsible for this damage. She even prepared this bill of $651.75 and told me that, if I am not paying this bill, I would not be able to get my car back.I asked to see my service advisor, George Fan, but he is on vacation. I asked if we can deal with it until he returns. They said no. Then I requested to see their manager, John Z. was the one who spoke to me. Again, he told us the same story that, I was the one who damaged the car and I had to pay this $651.75 fee for them to fix the front bumper. I asked Shana, if there were any photos taken when the loaner car was delivered. She said no. I have a friend who uses a BMW Service Center in Long Island, and he told me that his dealership would definitely taking photos of all of the loaner cars that he got. To me, I feel like BMW of Bayside Service Department has robbed my money. Here are the reasons of why I feel like I was being robbed: (1) I am not professional and so knowledgeable on cars, as a regular customer. No one will check as a professional person when the loaner car was delivered.I don't think anyone will check every single spot such as the base of the car, trunk, carpet, side door, windows, etc.I think BMW has their responsibility to take photos of their loaner's vehicle before delivering them.(2) George, my advisor was on vacation. I asked Shana and John if we can pay or deal with it after George is back from vacation. They told me they won't be releasing MY vehicle until I pay the damage fee.(3) I asked the loaner vehicle back to fix, but they didn't let me take it back.They told me if I don't sign and pay, I wouldn't be getting MY OWN car back. I did not want to sign the paper at that time. I felt like they were forcing me to sign. If not, they won't be releasing MY VEHICLE. My BMW x4 belongs to me and my husband. We are paying our bill on time every single month. At that time, if I didn't sign, they can take any legal action against us, but they have no right to hold MY CAR.(4) This is not my first time leasing a car. Every single time when I returned the car, the staff will always check the car with me in PRESENCE before they do anything. However, today, I waited 30 minutes for car wash and check up without me in presence. Then, Shana told me that the car was damaged. What had happened during that 30 minutes? Nobody knows. At this moment, I do not want to argue on who should be responsible on the dent. I just felt like there is no proof that they can show me that I am the one who damaged the car, and it's very unfair to a customer.I am very unhappy with BMW's service. I will not buy or lease any BMW cars after my lease is finished. I used to drive Mercedes Benz and Lexus and I never had this problem.

Enter this dealership at your own risk. I purchased a CPO here back in March and the experience continues to be the bane of my existence. The salesman claimed my previous lease was up for a pull-ahead program since there was only 3 months left on the lease. They had an X3 I was looking for so I went ahead with the purchase from the salesman and the lease return. A few weeks later BMW financial services starts calling and mailing out debt collection notices. Contacting the dealership Im told the salesperson I dealt with has been fired for similar issues and that theres nothing the dealer can/will do to rectify the situation. Apparently the use of the pull-ahead program is at the discretion of the dealership, not a BMW offer, and will have to show up as a discount on the vehicle purchase receipt for them to honor it. Fast forward to three months later, BMW USA and I have been trying to contact the dealership weekly and have been receiving no response whatsoever. Debt collectors are sending automated calls my way daily and Im beyond frustrated. Who would have thought a reputable brand like BMW would turn out to be crooks.

ZERO STARS!!!Was my first and last time dealing with BMW of Bayside. I will not even step foot back in there for service. They do not care about your feelings. They operate like a bunch of coked up stock brokers--not a luxury car dealership. Crappy they way they do business. They price you negotiated at the sale suddenly goes up when you actually go to pick up the car. SO DONE. I have already established a new relationship with another local BWM dealer and will be going to them for everything including my next car. STAY AWAY FROM BMW OF BAYSIDE!!!!

I was ready to walk out until Mike walked over and offered to help. I layed tje groundwork for what I wanted, could afford, etc. He never tried to oversell me, Convince me to settle on something I don't want. I was taken care of like I was genuinely important to him and to the dealership. Thete has been follow up, solutions and gratitude. This is how a person in a service position should treat everyone.

I had went to many different dealership and Shirley Chen from Bayside BMW was the one that deserved to earn my money. She was very patient and knowledge with all the BMW model and features. There was no pressure on purchasing/leasing a vehicle which is a plus in my book. I had first lease a X3 and now on my second lease with Shirley on a X5 as my family is continuing to grow. Hopefully by that time the X7 comes out when my lease is up. I will surely go back to Shirley as she is highly recommended. A lot of run rounds. They don't return phone calls or texts maybe hours or days later.. I called my Finance rep for some help about six months ago and still haven't returned my call but quickly to take my check, smh. I just got a bad vibe...Over the phone they said I would get a FDNY discount and BMW polo shirts but never did till this day.. And when I did call the service center for help no one picks up the phone and the manager wasn't there. All I got was let me connect you but no one picks up the phone, just rings and rings, they act like they were doing me a favor. I really felt I was robbed. Believe me I will go else where....

I took my car for the first service at 7,000 miles. To my surprised, I was recommended TIRE BALANCING & ROTATION. Since I was not prepared, I took the recommendation and paid $130. After I did some research, it was obvious that it was not needed. Even the official BMW is against the rotation. What should I do?

I currently lease an X5 from BMW of Bayside. I called the receptionist to see if I can pass by and discuss a new lease. The receptionist told me to just come in and somebody would help me and no appointment was necessary. When I arrived at the showroom, the BMW sales people were all sitting around talking to each other. I waited for a few minutes and nobody had the decency to get up and ask how they can assist me.. When I approached the receptionist she asked me if I had an appointment , which contradicts what she told me on the phone earlier. I stood in the middle of the showroom and asked if anybody is interested in gaining my business. At this point I was so frustrated that I just walked out. I guess they are selling/leasing too many cars and are not interested in maintaining customer loyalty.

Beware of this dealership. They are the worst. Crooks to the highest level. Get everything in writing and confirm. The say one thing and sell the other.They quoted a Demo car with 2000 miles but sold used car with almost 5000 miles. Took back a car with inspection, quoted with milage charge included and then to find a bill from BMW Finance because they never paid-off.Upon calling several times they finally said that the agreement was different,. Car still under full BMW warantee but they never did the service.This is bad bad bad name to BMW which happens to be a great car., Any place to buy except BAYSIDE.See other reviews and you will find the bad experiences. Dont go near them.

Let me just say something; I have never had an experience so great or so horrible that I've ever felt the need to write a review, but this was the absolute WORST customer experience I've ever had in my life. This will be long, but worth the read if you are considering this HORRIBLE dealership. I can't believe BMW hasn't pulled their license.My first experience with this dealership was April of 2014, I went in looking to purchase a CPO 3 series. The salesperson I spoke with didn't even bother introducing himself, he asked me what I was looking for and when I told him, he told me simply "We don't have anything in your price range,". I didn't even tell him how much I was looking to spend and yet, he automatically knew that I can't afford anything off their floor. When I asked him what he drove he told me "I don't drive, I don't have a drivers license." How are you a car salesman without a license?Anyway, as horrible as that experience was, I decided to put it past me and to just get over it. I didn't continue looking to purchase a car for a while after these events transpired.Fast forward to November 1, 2015; I get a call from BMW of Bayside to come check out a car I was looking at online. After going back and forth with them on the phone for about five hours, I was told to come in and that they would call me back and let me know what time. When I called back to see what time I should come in, the woman who answered the phone said that she had thrown out my number because she didn't think it was important, however I could come in any time. So I'm heading there and a salesperson named Charlie calls me and asks me where I was and I told him I was about 10-15 minutes away and I'd be in soon to which he responded "Okay, sounds good, I'll see you when you get in and we can get you in the car and check it out,". Well, I got there 15 minutes later and when I walked in, I found Charlie and he told me that they didn't have the car, it was being serviced and detailed. When I asked him why I wasn't told about this when I spoke to him on the phone, he said he didn't know. I proceeded to ask him if he had anything similar in inventory and he told me "In a manual transmission? Nope, sorry," to which I responded "The car I wanted to see was an A/T though..." He told me it wasn't and that I was wrong, sorry for wasting my time. I told him "You know, this is my second time dealing with you guys and, I've just gotta say...your customer service is absolutely HORRIBLE,". He just looked at me, smiled and said "Yeah...I know,". That was it. No explanation, no defense, nothing. Just a smile and "I know,". Unbelievable.After walking out, I get a text message from Charlie stating that I was in fact correct in thinking the car was an A/T, and that if I was willing to give them one more chance, he'd make it right. I'm not one to hold a grudge so I agreed and told him I would be in contact with him throughout the week to let him know my availability.I texted Charlie the next day and asked him to e-mail me the specs and a quote for the vehicle in question, to which he agreed and asked how much I planned to put down and what my credit score is like. After answering him, he told to give him some time to put together a quote for me. An hour later, Charlie texted me back and told me that the car was sold and that he was sorry but he would find other cars that are in my budget. Once again, I NEVER MENTIONED A BUDGET OF ANY KIND.After this horrible experience, I decided to call up and speak to their sales manager, a guy named Jonathan Gutierrez. Right off the bat, he was EXTREMELY rude on the phone, and when I called him out on it he was extremely defensive, telling me that I was wrong in feeling like his tone was rude and condescending and that I was wrong for feeling offended. I went on to tell him the horrible experiences I've had with his sales team and he told me that if I would calm down and relax, he has another car that's "same year, make and model, better equipped, lower mileage, and comparable price" and if I was interested. I said you know what, send me the specs and a price quote to which he replied that he would get it to me in a little bit. This phone call ended at 11:49AM. I waited until 5:30PM, still no call, no e-mail. I called at 5:36PM and asked to speak to Jonathan and was told by the receptionist that he had left for the day already. I then e-mailed the sales manager at their new car department asking if I could deal with someone who was not Jonathan because he was so unprofessional, to which I was forwarded to Jonathan anyway. At 7:48PM that night, Jonathan finally e-mailed me a link to check out the car, told me it wasn't a CPO, and asked me if I would like to leave a deposit on a car that I hadn't even seen yet to ensure he doesn't sell it.So, now it is November 3rd, I went to Rallye BMW (AMAZING SERVICE, the dealership you want to go to if you want to be treated with respect or at least if you want to feel like a human being) to check out a few cars, walked out with a quote, CarFax, and business card and told to expect a call within a few hours with an update on inventory (was called back maybe 45 minutes later). On my way back, I decided to stop by BMW of Bayside to speak to Jonathan, and the moment I walked in, the receptionist is playing a game on her phone as I stand in front of her desk. She finishes her game, looks at me and says "Sorry, just had to finish up some work," as if I hadn't seen what she was doing...with her phone on loud. I asked for Jonathan and she asked me "Who are you?" After telling her my name, she walks over to his office, tells him I'm there to see him and I see him look over at me and tell her to send me in.The moment I walked into his office he simply asked me, "What are you doing here?" WOW. Unbelievably rude. I told him I stopped in to speak to him and wanted to see if the car was ready yet since he told me it needed to be serviced and detailed the night before. He immediately went into defense mode stating "I told you last night it needed to be serviced and detailed, so no, the car is not here so I don't understand why you would show up here unannounced," EXTREMELY RUDE.So now, I'm extremely irritated with the way I'm being treated, and I asked him who his manager was and that I'd like to speak with him/her. He told me "I'm the manager here, you're speaking to the manager," to which I responded "You're the only manager here? So there's no one above you, that's what you're telling me. You're the one who runs this place like this?" He told me "Yes, I'm the manager," and I asked him "So if I look on your website, it's going to say you're the manager?" He looked at me and said "I don't understand why you're acting like this, did I not tell you yesterday that the car needed to be serviced and detailed, so I don't understand why you even came in here unannounced like this. I feel like I deserve your business because I've been nothing but professional to you," I told him to just give me his managers number, and he went on his computer and printed something out. I held out my hand expecting him to hand it to me, instead he began highlighting things on the papers he had just printed. He flipped it over and showed me that it was the e-mail exchange I had with him the previous night, reiterating what was said, telling me that at least over the e-mails I was acting like a man and a reasonable person. I told him to stop wasting my time and give me his managers number. He writes down a number on a post it and I asked him "Your manager doesn't have a card?" He looked at me, smiled, pulled out a card and wrote a number on the back of the card. He hands it to me and I leave. As I get into my car, I called the number and asked to speak to Frank Allen, the receptionist asked who was calling and I told her. She told me please hold as she transfers me, then transfers me to a dead line. I call the number again, same thing. I finally decided to look at the number on the card and flipped the card over. Jonathan had written his own number on the back of the card. I can only imagine that he instructed his receptionist to ask who was calling if someone called asking to speak to Frank Allen, and to handle the situation as she did.Seriously, BMW needs to consider pulling the certification from this dealership because the service is an ABSOLUTE joke. Save yourselves the time and drive another 15 minutes to Westbury and check out Rallye BMW, I personally dealt with a man named Gabriel Hale. Incredible service, incredible selection, and the level of service you would expect from a brand like BMW.

However, it has been almost a year already I still have not receive the check. The most friendly dealer I have ever walk in. I have own numbers of luxury cars Audi, MB, LR, Infiniti etc... I replace 2 new cars in every 2 to 3 years from end of lease. So, I deal with many dealers in my past. So far BMW of Bayside have the highest score on my list. I have place an order for a brand new custom spec 2016 X5 M sport. Normally for custom order will takes from 5 to 6 weeks for delivery. Don't know how she did it, but mind take less than 3 weeks. From order to delivery Shirley make sure all go smooth.There is an extra credit for Shirley, She also help me order a set of all weather mats. The day I go pick them up. I was stopping at the red light in front of the dealer and about to look for a spot to park. She ran outside with the floor mat in her hand and delivery them to me without I getting off the car. How cool she is! That"s what I call services! Total recommend this lady to everyone looking for the best service out from BMW!

Got a price before dropping the call and at the time of picking it up they changed the price and said they don't remember talking to me about the price. When I took it home on the way the coolent leaked and had to tow the car back to he dealer. They weren't even sorry and the next day when I drove he car it started to shake every time my foot was in the break. I called back n said y this was happening when it wasn't like that before and they said anything can happen with Germany car and if you want to fix this problem it will be additional 1000 dollar. We said no and wanted to bring back home the car. When we did, one of the door on the car was not working. Before we were able to atleast close the door manually but after bringing the car, we couldn't even do that and had the car parked in the street all open. We called but the service advisor said they can't fix the problem. We brought the car back to the dealer this morning and told them we want our car the way it was because we can't leave our can opened on the street and I am still waiting here because they are denying this whole thing. This is the worst place anyone can come to to have their car fixed.

We had the misfortune of having our 2015 X3 towed here as it was the closest service center. Although I was with a 2 and 4 year old at the time, I was made to wait over an hour for a loaner and some of the rudest, if not the rudest, staff I've ever encountered. Starting from the angry valet, he rudest nastiest girls at the front desk to the indent and unresponsive "manager". I then had to wait two weeks for them to fix the over heat alarm. NO ONE returned any calls during is time including two calls to a supervisor. The rudeness continued when I went to pick up the car. The front desk girls are simply unbelievable. To make matters worse, NO ONE was able to say what was wrong with the car, even though they had it for two weeks, and they simply advised that "it was fixed". My husband and I both drive BMWs and we're on our 5th lease in 6 years. We've leased from Rallye and Freeport and have never received this kind of "service". I would never even consider getting a new car from these folks seeing how they run their service department.

I was a bit disappointed to read that people had bad experiences here, but I suppose you have take the good and the bad into consideration. Besides waiting for a very long time, sales reps (Jonel and Monae) and crew were great! Friendly, professional and knowledgeable. My CPO 2011 328xi is in great shape, had low mileage and runs great (thus far!). Overall a positive experience, I would recommend BMW Bayside.

This particular service center seems incredibly busy and at times overwhelmed with the number of vehicles in for service. However, the staff manages to deal with every customer professionally and with a high degree of organization, confidence and capability. I often sit in the waiting area finding my head spinning watching the activity but each and every customer seems calm and satisfied. Jennifer goes above and beyond this. I get immediate attention and am presented with a detailed description of the nature of the service, time and cost estimate. Jennifer appreciates that my time is valuable and makes sure that I either am provided with a "loaner" so that I am not waiting at the service center or if I do wait, I know with a high degree of accuracy the length of time I will be there. This allows me to plan my days accordingly and frankly, takes the stress out of bringing my vehicle for service. It's truly a pleasure to have Jennifer as my dedicated service manager!And by the way, the service center has done great work. Never an issue and have always left as a very satisfied customer.

Please believe that if I could choose 0 STARS I would!!!! I purchased a "certified pre-owned" vehicle from BMW of Bayside 14 months ago. Since then, it has spent more time in their service center than in my driveway. My sales advisor Luis and service advisor Melissa are the only reason that I am still a customer, they are amazing and go above and beyond for me. But anyone other than them, don't hold your breath. Trying to get in touch with someone higher up on the totem pole never happens. The engine has been rebuilt twice along with the battery needing to be replaced twice, not to mention the N63 Customer Care package for V8 engines - basically the "recall that never was a recall", amongst other issues. The dealer has refused to take responsibility that they have sold me a lemon and not even give me any consideration towards getting a new car from them. Earlier this year, I even purchased a motorcycle from them, so a return customer I have been. I was able to get BMW Corporate to give me $5500 towards a new vehicle which I used in getting a new 2015. HOWEVER, THE DEALER IS NOT WILLING TO ACCEPT ANY RESPONSIBILITY AND WASH OUT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MY FINANCE AND BOOK VALUE (WHICH THEY ARE NOT EVEN GIVING ME) OR MEET ME HALF WAY. They are trying to bury the difference in my new payment resulting in a $400 increase of monthly payment. I don't know if it's because they think I'm stupid, but I am not going to be left feeling this way. My current vehicle is unsafe and BMW Corporate has acknowledged it. I just wonder if the dealership will ever accept responsibility and own up to the lemon I got stuck with. The sad thing is, they will probably take my vehicle and sell it to another unsuspecting soul who will continue to experience the same frustration that I have gone thru.

I recently went to BMW of Bayside. First, I spoke to Monae over the phone and then I met Michael D'Urso at the dealership. He was amazing and he was very knowledgeable. He walked me through each and every step and he was very honest. I must also mention John Tetta who is a Client Advisor and he was awesome as well. He also guided me with all the process. I was in and out of the dealership within an hour. I went to many other dealerships but this is the best one I have been to so far. This service center is terrible. The service advisors have lied to me before. They have called me to pick up my car and when I got there there was a light on so I had to leave it there and get a loaner. They have put me out a number of times. I had problems with my car. It was the engine. It was called drivetrain malfunction. My car shut off twice while I was driving it. The first time they said they couldn't find anything. The second time they fixed it. One time I brought my car there they fix the engine and then a few hours later after picking up the at the light was on. When I called the service manager Marlo to complain about the service and people there she basically got nasty with me and told me how offended she was. What the xxxx kind of service is that. I will never get a BMW because of the dealings over had here. Then when I complained to BMW of North America they didn't do much at all. See ya BMW. I would never recommend this dealership or service center.

Once they get your money, they don't care about what happens to the car. I bought a 2011 CPO, with existing water damage. Used car dealership manager Gutirrez made me run through the hoops to get the car fixed. Please stay away from this dealership! You can't trust the people in there. Bunch of scammers in my opinion! Go somewhere else. There are good trustworthy dealers in Queens and Long Island!

I purchased a CPO 528I from BAYSIDE BMW a few months ago.My main issue with the car was the parking distance sensor was pushed inside the bumper. I took the car first to BMW of FREPPORT and the gladly helped me with the issue. after a few weeks the sensor was fell off again so I called my dealer who sold me the car in bayside HINSON LEE and he told me to go to BAYSIDE BMW SERVICE and they should be able to fix it since I bought the car from them.1. Dealer visitMy appointment finally came and GEORGE FAN at least tried to help me out and he said he will look at it. long story short after I left my CAR, GEORGE FAN called me and said that the PDC sensor was pushed in cause of impact and they are basing it cause the car has a hairline scratch at that side of the bumper which was there when I purchased the car and they want 700-800$ to fix it. I am not arguing with this people cause I know they have a bad reputation. Took my car and left. I called MARK HAZLEWOOD of BMW of Freeport and he told me that I should come in and he will gladly fix the issue for me. BASICALLY BAYSIDE BMW SOLD ME A CAR WITH A BUMPER SCRATCH AND THEY USED IT AS REASON TO DECLINE WORK THAT SHOULD BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.2. check-in/loaner car I scheduled a loaner car for this visit. The front desk girl SHAYNA took my Insurance card, license, and credit card and I was ok with that cause thats how its usually is on other dealerships when I get a loaner. She told me that she put a pre authorization of $250 in my card and it will not be taken out or put on hold. My bank called me for a fraud alert cause apparently she swiped and charged my card 3 times for $250, Two charges went thru ($500) and the money was taken out of my debit account. I spoke to her she keeps insisting that the money was not taken out and I will have to wait for accounting to review all the statements for that day and the soonest that they can return my money back will be monday, It was friday and I have bills thats coming in. They can just do a quick review and debit my money back. IT WAS CLEARLY A MISTAKE ON THEIR END AND THE BEST THING THAT THEY CAN DO IS MAKE ME WAIT FOR MY OWN MONEY THAT THEY ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO TAKE FROM MY ACCOUNT.3. check outGEORGE FAN called me that they couldn't fix the car and its ready for pick-up. I immediately went to the dealer since I work 10 minutes away. Upon check out I waited about half an hour cause they couldn't find my car. When they finally found my car they told me that it needs to be washed which I politely declined cause it will take a while for sure and I'm just at my lunch break.AS A PROFESSIONAL THE CAR SHOULD BE READY WHEN THEY TOLD ME IT IS, ITS CLEAR THAT THEY DONT RESPECT FOR OTHER PEOPLES TIME.OVERALL THE VISIT WAS TERRIBLE AND I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT AGAIN OR BUY ANOTHER CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. I KNOW IM JUST ONE PERSON AND STAYING AWAY FROM THEM PROBABLY WONT HURT THEIR BUSINESS BUT PLEASE PEOPLE DONT FALL VICTIMS TO THESE CROOKS AND SAVE YOURSELF THE INCONVENIENCE. Been leasing luxury vehicles for over 12 years now and with different dealers. This is my first experience with bmw of bayside and I can honestly say this is customer service at its worst. Dropped my car off for them to install the part that was missing in the car when I purchased 2 months ago and was told it will take 1 hr to install. two days later I still don't have my car and I can't get a straight answer. I would strongly recommend to find another dealer.

This place is very unprofessional. I brought in my car for service the other day and they serviced the tire and when I went to pick up the car they told me I had to pay for $50 deductible which the finance manager or horrible salesperson did not inform me about. Once I got back in my car, money I had tied up for good luck was also stolen. I will never buy another car from BMW Bayside or service my car here ever again. Also, my salesperson did not take me very seriously when before all of this when I came in to purchase my car. He made the experience a terrible one being that he purposely did not take note of anything with paper work. He gave us one price in the beginning and didn't write it down in hopes to switch up the numbers on us thinking we would not realize it and stayed on his phone the entire time (seemed distracted). Then hen confronted about he, he laughed in my face and called me a liar.

I have been in Toyotas dealerships that were better than this. Its the worst showroom in America. No waiting room. xxxx W.B mason coffee, no water bottles, no snacks, and no waiting room. Even if you live in queens drive the 15 mins to ralley and go to real professionals. Wouldn't go back if they gave me a car for free. If you want to get ripped off and wait around for 5 hours for the F and I process to be done. Go to Bayside. Its obv that the management it xxx backwards. It clearly shows in the operations.

This is the worst dealership ever. I purchased a 3 series from this dealership and every month I had to take my car in for service. Forget the wait at the service center because you will wait there the entire day only to fix one thing that will lead to something else needing to be fixed. The cars they sell there are never serviced before giving to the customer. After you buy your car there you never hear from them again and if you try to call them they ignore your calls. They have changed Finance Managers there so many times because they all lie to their customers and end up getting fired. They do not live up to their word and I went through a year and half of trying to get back the money from the warranties I never used. Will never recommend anyone going to buy a car here. Worst place ever and horrible service.

I was sold a certified pre-owned 2011 335i. 4 months after purchase all of the electronics located in the trunk shorted out. After taking it to the service department it was revealed that there was water damage to the electronics. Chrysatalized sea salt covered the bottom of the trunk and the electronic components. In short, the cpo warranty does not cover electronics. The sales manager said he would call the service department which he didn't then completely ignored my calls after that. Yes, bayside bmw sold me a Sandy car.

I has two of my BMWs serviced at BMW Bayside. The one has a minor problem but the dealer told me it was major and it needed to be fixed. Moreover, they said that my valve cover needs to be changed also. That cost me about $1300. After I paid the bill, the service advisor told me that the repair was not really necessary. Sad to say, when I left the dealership, my entire cooling system started to leak. I had to take it somewhere else to be fixed. Thanks BMW bayside for wrecking my car. It was fine before you serviced it and it seems that you cost me an additional $1130 to replace my entire cooling system. I am so happy I fix the cooling system somewhere else.

Our 4th lease agreement was scheduled to come to an end in December 2014. For the first time ever since dealing with BMW, we were experiencing separation anxiety. We really had plans to refinance our current leased vehicle. Based on the rates/quotes that we were given by a few other BMW Dealerships in NYC, we were feeling very depressed but "The Goodfellas" John Tetta and Stephen Abbondandolo came to the rescue! They explained the pros and cons of keeping the vehicle which would no longer be under warranty, which meant a lot of out-of -pocket expenses. They were very upfront and professional during the process. We could not have asked for better salesmen. We leased our very first BMW from Bayside and that was a very positive experience. I am 66 years old and have leased over 15 cars in my life. This was by far the best car shopping experience I have EVER had in my entire life. Upon entering the building I was immediately greeted by Stephen. He made me feel right at home. I explained to him how I was currently leasing a Mercedes and had been for the past 10 years. I was expecting him to start his sales tactics and start bashing Mercedes but instead he did the complete opposite and agreed with how great Mercedes was. After telling him what was important to me in a car, he began explaining why he believed BMW was the car for me which got me thinking. After a thorough test drive and explanation of all the the vehicles features, we went back to his desk to discuss some options. This is the part that I usually hate as negotiating gets me very uncomfortable. As we approached his desk I noticed another gentleman sitting in his seat. That's when I met John. They explained to me how they were cousins and actually sell cars together as a team. Their selling environment was very relaxing. They had very comfortable chairs and lit candles as well. John even went next door and got my son and I Iced coffee from Dunkin Donuts. Long story short, I went in a Mercedes driver and left a BMW driver with a BRAND NEW BMW 5 series the same day (Literally). The only thing that was a little irritating (which has nothing to do with the guys) is the fact that the Finance process took a very very long time and kept me far longer than I expected. I would recommend these 2 boys to everyone. They made me feel like family.

I have been using Bmw in Great Neck for a long time for service on my car. This experience has been very eventful. Alberto had to get involved when the service advisor lied to me. I thought I would be in better hands but NOOOOOO, things got worse! I have no idea how he has the job he has, he clearly can't handle it. He doesn't follow thru on anything, he lies as much as the rest of the inexperienced people there. The only 2 people who are worth anything to BMW are Marlo and Angela. Marlo is like a godsend. She gets involved and suddenly everything is perfect. Anytime there is an issue Marlo handles it without a problem, Alberto has to lie and cover up other peoples lies. Angela always calls back and takes control as well. I will go back because the work they do is wonderful but from now on I'm only dealing with Marlo and Angela. I think its time to get rid of people who are harming the centers reputation.

Went in for an oil change at 1pm and got out at 4pm. Three hours is to be expected in any service center so that wasn't an issue with me. They notified me of a recall and got that taken care of for me. They had drinks and food for the customers which is always a nice gesture especially when there are people waiting 3 plus hours. I feel the service center is better with customer service than the car sales team of the dealer.

I do not understand why BMW keeps such a rotten apple in their dealer network. BMW of Bayside is the worst, stay away nothing but problems awaits for you. I never tried their service facility and never will, my nightmare started at time of purchase. They cost me hundreds of dollars by disqualifying me from a pull ahead program by their fault. I tried everything to get the problem rectified with them. Unfortunately phone calls were never returned after I purchased the car, they completely ignored me. BMW has lost a customer for life by keeping such a dealer in their network. If you really want a BMW go anywhere but to BMW of Bayside, even if you have to drive a few more miles.

Exceptional Service! That's how I describe my experience I had yesterday with BMW of Bayside. Let me introduce myself to you. My name is Bob Hopkins and I live in New Rochelle, NY. I was driving yesterday en route to Sands Point Golf Club for a Met PGA Pro-Am Golf Tournament and as I exited the LIE, I hit a small pothole and like so many times before, the dashboard lit up with warnings to check the tires. I knew right away I needed a new tire, but more importantly to me, I knew I needed to get to that golf tournament. Pressing the BMW Assist button, the service provided me with your service department's address; sending directly to my car's navigation system and I was on my way.Entering your facility, I was overwhelmed at the size and the number of people waiting for service and I became concerned again over my situation and needing to make this tournament. Within 15 minutes, I was greeted by Jennifer Odato who quickly advised me that I needed not only one tire, but probably two others as there were bubbles on the sidewalls. She explained that she had no loaners and that they closed at 5:45, which I knew was not going to work with a 1PM tee time. Not thinking clearly, I told her to forget it and just bring my car around and I figured I would ride on the run flat, make the tournament and deal with the situation afterwards. Being away from home, I really didn't have many options.Waiting out front of your service facility for my car to be brought around, Jennifer comes out and says "Are you really willing to put golf over your own personal safety Mr. Hopkins? I've looked over your car and the one tire has a gash and the other two tires are severely bubbled, please come inside and we will figure something out.". Not wanting to face the fact that I was putting this tournament over my own safety, I begrudgingly returned. Jennifer was amazing from that moment forward. She acted quickly to make sure she had the tires, got one of the service techs to load up my clubs into an X5 to drive me personally to the club, she gave me her personal cell phone contact so that she could text me with updates and while not making any commitments at all, she hinted that there might be a chance that they could even drop the car off at the club later that afternoon. What a sigh of relief on my part! She was the most professional and thorough service advisor I have ever worked with in all my years of owning luxury vehicles. I have a real problem with BMW and these run flat, low profile tires having had to replace 5 of them within 6 months of owning this car, but Jennifer took a bad situation and turned it into an opportunity and now I am singing praises about BMW, BMW of Bayside and for your wonderful service advisor Jennifer Odato. I purchased my car from BMW of Oyster Bay, but I am committing to you now that all my future sales and service of BMW will be with BMW of Bayside. Thank you!By the way, I got 4th place in the Tourney, but Jennifer made me feel like a winner!

I had to change my appt. for my 4500 mile check up. Not only was the receptionist rude, but Kaitlyn in service was cold, arrogant, talking over me, the customer and callous. This is BMW customer service???? You've got to be kidding!! On top of that, I was denied a loaner car which I have ALWAYS received in the past.Needless to say, I canceled my appt and made my service appt with. BMW in Old Westbury...a superb experience! I was treated with the highest respect, was immediately given a loaner car and the rep on the phone was so cordial...it was a pleasure! The way I know BMW!Management at BMW service center should fire Kaitlyn and re-train thei staff....A customer should always be Number One.Don't go to BMW on East Shore Rd in Great Neck. Customers Beware!

A friend brought me to Bayside BMW where his wife recently had gotten her vehicle. My amigo was shopping for an M6 and I, for a 5 series sedan. Within 15 minutes of our arrival, I was getting ready to test drive the vehicle of my choice as did he when we returned from my test drive. We were treated very well by staff and managers from arrival to departure. Overall, the experience was very positive and they made it easy for me to drive out with the car of my choice. Very satisfied and will certainly recommend.

This is by far the worst service experience I have ever experienced. I had a 10:30am appointment to have my car inspected. I did not leave the service station until 1:30. I do no understand how it can take three hours to do a simple inspection. Not once did anyone come out and let me know how much longer it would be. After I received my car and arrived home I noticed a big dent on the rear bumper. I called the service center and they told me bring it back in right away. Once I arrived they immediately stated it was not there problem or their fault because I left the service center without checking my car to make sure their were no dents. They were very nasty and did not want to hear anything. I asked to speak to the manager and was told he would come talk to me. I waited and watched as he walked into his office and just ignored me. I will never go back to this place again and have already filed a formal complaint with BMW corporate.

Let me start my experience with this bmw dealer. I will try to make everything as short as possible.I purchased a certified preowned 2011 328i from this dealer last year the buying experience was ok and the process was quick.A year after my rear view mirror came off and I went to Rallye BMW cause there are no appointments available in bayside. The service advisor in Rallye looked at the rear view mirror and said that they will not attach my rear view mirror cause the windshield on the car is not the original bmw windshield and the seals on the bottom might cause a leak cause its not properly installed. He showed me whats going on and told me that i should take it back to BAYSIDE BMW cause they sold me the car and they did the CPO process.After a week without a rearview mirror I finally got an appointment at BAYSIDE BMW. A service advisor named George Fan assisted me and had my rear view mirror reattached. I told him what Rallye bmw said and just ignored me. The rear view mirror was reattached but two days after the mirror came off again and it took a piece of the inside of the windshield with it. I called Bayside BMW and sadly they can't squeeze me in and i waited another week for an appointment.Finally after a week my wife went there and she saw a service advisor named Alberto Lopez. He looked at the car and he said that BAYSIDE BMW is not responsible for windshield replacements and they will not fix it! My wife's car is a CPO and the windshield was not chipped till i brought it to them to get i fixed. He told my wife that we should just file an insurance claim and the will fix it and i will have to pay on whatever the difference is on whatever my insurance company will pay.Keep in mind my Car is CPO and it should have been inspected that everything is good including the windshield and the windshield was not chipped till after they fix it.Sadly everyone on this dealer is very nasty and no one can help us.

Scammers! Do not purchase any warranties. You will not get your money back. They tell you that you can and send you the paper work but never process anything. Also its a waste of time rererring any one. They tell you that you get a rerral fee of $500.00 which you will never receive. I referred someone and never got any check for the referral. Horrible place and I will never refer anyone to BMW of Bay side-Certified Pre-Owed.

This is my third visit at this service location, first one was not bad, i guest is because I just went to get a oil change I waite one hours, the second time I waited 2 weeks and 3 days just because I wanted a (loaner car) ok understand but when driving different BMW for over 9 years then the dealer then take u to enterprise to rent a Chevy cruze that a xxxx up dealer.. Yea it happen to me.. Ok I let them slide it that one again now it been 2 month and my car need some major work over 8,000 of work I maid a appointment Waite one week I even told them I did not want a loaner from no enterprise the said ok I finally got to the loacation to get my service, came to find out the want me to go rent a car fom enterprise .i flip out and ask to speak to the manager, then the told me the manager going to tell me the same thing so the cant help me. After I told them Several time i need a loaner car not a enterprise the then said the cant help me.I would not recommend no one to go there for service, I would rather got to auto zone parking lot to get my car repair than go there ever again...

Came in to buy a new BMW. Salesman said he would work on my trade and get back to me, but never did. Instead I got a form email from the dealer without the information he was getting for me. Two days later I sent an email to the salesman and told him to never get in touch with me again because I don't want to work with someone that doesn't follow up when he says he will. I would still like to purchase a car from this dealer but only with another salesman who is willing to make a deal happen.

I regret not to have any salespeople name that were outside smoking and completely ignored us when we walked in. The only friendly person was a the desk who asked 3 different salespersons to help us and said were busy but were not. Spent 5 minutes looking around waiting for someone to approach us. This never happened. We went Wed July 24th around 7:30pm. Needless to say we walked out and went to Lexus of Manhattan now we own a 2014 Lexus IS250. It is the worst experience ever. 2013 and still people judging for how people look. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

My sales person, Mr. Takacs was extremely knowledgeable, professional and helpful. He made me feel extremely comfortable and explained the various options to me with extreme patience. When I went to pick up the car he had taken care of all of the details and set up all of the features in the car for me. Even after the car was delivered he was extremely responsive to my questions and he even called a few days later to make sure that I was happy and that i wasn't having any issues. He made my experience very favorable. I would definitely purchase another vehicle from him.However, I will say I was surpised that the show room was so dirty the carpet was filthy as well as the bathroom. On my few visits each time the bathroom had no toilet paper, no soap and no paper towels. When you are spending a lot of money on car or even if it was $10,000 that is unexceptable. Luckily, my sales person offered me hand sanitizer and offered his apologies but, that is inexcusible on managements part.

I was trying to purchase a car. After all the papers were completed, the deposit given, and terms agreed upon, I was jerked around for two days. So much so, that I requested my deposit back and cancelled the purchase. In my opinion, stay away from this dealer, the sales force is ok, watch out for the managers.

This review is about their car service located in Great Neck. They offer a ride from your home to the service center but they are over an hour late from the promised pick up time after many calls to see the status.The counter personnel have a bad attitude.If your car is out of warrantee they suggest all types of work whether it needs it or not.Their prices are way over other bmw dealers.They keep your car over at least one night.The service coordinators must be on commission.The place is dirty and unprofessional.It's worth going to another dealer like Ralley even if you have to travel for it.

i bought a brand new 2013 BMW 650i GranCoupe Xdrive and costed me $104K. after driving my car 13k miles i got an oil change from a non BMW repair center which is ok according to BMW. The shop was not able to take off the service light when it turned on at 15k miles they told me its not a problem because i already got the oil change i should take it to BMW to take the service light off. Within 5 days my car shutdown and i got it towed to BMW of Bayside when i took it to BMW of Bayside they automatically declined my service because i never took the car for an oil change at a BMW dealer and told me i owe $18,500 for a new engine. I spoke to the service manager and i told him i had a valid reciept for repair and he was quick to answer it doesnt matter to me your cars warranty is void. i quickly reached out to BMW of NA and going back and forth they asked to see the receipt just to waste my time for 2 months now BMW of Bayside and BMW NA does not want to give me information or a reason why they aren't covering me especially after BMW of Bayside told me when they received the car it had only 4.5 quarts in the car and only 3500 miles over the normal 15000 miles per oil change limit, which should be enough to drive it even if i didn't get an oil change.Im now in the position of not paying for my car and leaving it in the shop i will burn my credit before i shell out 28k for a warranty item!!!

I recently purchased a Pre-Certified 2009 BMW 335I. I requested that I receive an Oil Service and Change prior to picking up the car from the dealorship in August 2012. I was told that it had been done, and actually had to wait for about 2hours for them to bring it over to the dealership fro the service department. I have had nothing but problems since acquiring this LEMON. !st the heater went out on the car, then, the car had an oil leak, at which time they fixed but I was told that I had to pay a 50.oo labor fee. When I drove the car to NC. the engine light kept coming on and I was told that they put a part in wrong. then all in September, I needed new brake pads rear, which they again, claimed to have fixed. THen the heater that they fixed acquired a humming noise. My service light kept coming on and when I told them, they stated that they could find no problem. Then after my mileage reaches 50,000, I'm told that I need a complete oil change service. WHAT? after 5months and they already did it? This time however I was to be charged 700.00. I took it to another service who did the oil change/service, and was told that my brakes front were at 15% and my back ones at 38% meaning that I needed brakes front and back! Also that a coil was found to be corroded!!!!! All of the numerous times before I took my car into Bayside and noone noticed. Oh yeah, and that Alberto is a real piece of work, he knows absolutely NOTHING! He has to be related to someone to be in that position. He even accused me of recording him with my phone!!! Is he paranoid???? wow! NEVER WILL I EVER PURCHASE, RECOMMEND, or service my car at this "bootleg" poor excuse for a service center, ever. also, I submitted a review earlier and it was DELETED??!!!! Now, I'm sitting in the dealership and the Frank want to give me 30% off of the repair of my front brakes???? are they serious!!!!

Purchased a pre-cert 335I in August of 2012. Since that time I have had to have the WHOLE HEATER SYSTEM replaced which I am still have problems with, and OIL LEAK FIXED to which I was charged a $50. deductable, an ENGINE PART INPROPERLY PLACED in my car, I guess that happened while fixing the oil leak. and Miraculously, after only six months and a brake pad replacement in September, I now need BRAKES FRONT AND BACK. Front brakes are at 15% and back are at 38%. Not to mention a completely CORRODED COIL. I had to take it to someone else to put it on the computer to find this info out, Even though my car has been there on numerous occasions, No one told me at BAYSIDE...I have left messages with John Seraphin, with no return call, and have tried to email Mr. Allen. Guess I'll have to physically pay him a visit. sigh, NEVER AGAIN!!! BMW FINANCIAL and every other BMW head will be hearing from me...Oh, and did I mention that a complete oil change was supposed to be done prior to my purchasing....so why did I have to have one done Saturday March 2 totally at my cost? SMH!!!!!!

Horrible customer service! My family has always owned BMW's and I bought my car 4 years ago after college. I tend to travel for work and stopped by this location to get my coolant topped off. As soon as I got there, I received an awful attitude because all I asked for was if they can top of my coolant. The guy then stated since I didn't purchase my vehicle at their dealership, I had to purchase the bottle of coolant... really? Just for a top off? I immediately left and made an appointment at BMW Manhattan, got my oil service and other necessities, and had the best experience! This is what BMW customer service is all about.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Where do i begin? Things started off good. Salesman was friendly and willing to negotiate. After that, it all went down hill. I was promised my car in two weeks...ended up being six weeks. The salesman could not give me a straight answer on the delivery of my car and i had to call him several times to get an answer. Manager got involved and at first was very responsive but quickly fizzled out.I was promised sirius radio in my car and two days after having the car, i realized that i didnt have it. i complained to manager and salesman said he never said that the car came with it...essentially calling me a liar. They did put it in for free (kudos) but when I went to the service department, apparently the dealership did not give the service department the right paperwork to install the sirius radio. Another fiasco in which we had to call the dealership and waste more of our time. So what now??? Since that fiasco at the service shop, no one has called to apologize. No one has called to see how I am liking the car. To top it all off, I wrote an email to their customer service manager (Frank Allen), giving them one more chance to comment on the whole experience and nothing back from them!!! I wasn't even going to write a bad review (never done one before)because i usually let things slide. To top it all off, i just got word that they never sent my insurance company documentation needed. I gave them a call but guess what???? No one called back - SHOCKER.Bottom line - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I dont demand much as a customer...just want to be treated fairly and when i spend a lot of money on a car, wouldn't mind some good customer service....too much to ask? I would never recommend this dealership and would not go back for my lease renewal. They lost a potential long-standing customer because i do love the car.

The service manager ray was the rudest person I have ever in countered stated that because I am a woman and own a hand bag that I scratched my car when the scratch appeared after I had gotten my car serviced! I have never been spoken to like that in all of my life. I have been. Customer of bayside BMW for years, in the old service department in bayside where staff and managment would run to help you, and will never return or tell anyone to go to bayside BMW. I suppose fallen has gained a new customer.

After my 100 th time trying to get in touch with the service department and not getting an answer! I had emailed the service manager, Marlo Bellizzi, who had helped me in the past. She responded right back, calling me and helped make me my appointment and offered me a loaner car so I wouldn't have to wait for my services. Marlo is great and knows how to treat customers. leased my 1st BMW from Bayside BMW 3 yrs ago. To my misfortune my 335xi coupe was plagued with problems from a bad fuel pump to bad injectors which had my car on a flat bed numerous times. While Marlo the service manager was empathetic to my situation it took negative posts on BMW's facebook and twitter to get satisfaction which I eventually got from BMW not the dealership. On the service side in the 10 or so times I had bring my car in I was met with rude girls behind the desk with nasty attitudes who'd chit chat instead of helping expedite customers. My sister and mother have had numerous BMW's with very good experiences. Figuring with all I went through when my lease came due I'd give Bayside a chance to make it up to me. After 20 e-mails from the salesman to lease another BMW I told him what I wanted and what price I wanted it at figuring they'd make an effort to retain me given what I've been through over the past 3 yrs. Boy was I wrong! The response from the salesman was "The vehicle you are looking for we can't make a deal with your numbers. Good luck". How's that for a smack in the face! On my sisters recommendation I called Joe Segreti at Wide World of Cars who not only secured the car I wanted at the price I needed but made the whole experience a pleasure and saved a customer. Thumbs down to Bayside BMW!

He took extra pictures of the car calm my fears of any damage not evident in the dealer photos. His quote to me was "You will be talking about the "old-guy" from New York years from now and how he treated you right"--well he is correct!We bought a one-way ticket from Chadron, Nebraska to New York where Steve graciously picked up my husband from the air port and gave hime a memorable ride back to the dealership. As of the writing of this review, I am still waiting for a return call from the General manager of this dealership since July, 2011. Should I give up hope? However, the pleasurable experience I have just had at Rallye BMW commands that I write this review. BMW of Bayside was terrible in every way. I was misinformed when it came to the leasing of a BMW X-5 "Corporate Demo". NEVER lease or buy one! Subsequent and many service issues followed - it was the worst 36 month lease experience I have ever had. I promised myself I would never drive BMW again, however, Rallye BMW more than made up for it. I should also mention BMW of North America was only slightly better than BMW of Bayside - at least they returned my call. But - that was about it. Looking for a BMW? Don't waste time, go to Rallye BMW. They are professional and courteous.

Since my initial service visit to BMW of Bayside, NY, I was immediately greeted and provided with outstanding customer service from Mrs. Marlo Bellizzi. I took a chance to obtain service from this particular location, since I did not purchase my vehicle from that dealership. Since walking through the door, Marlo connected me with a service representative and my visit was smooth and I was finished within reasonable time. From that first visit, I have since returned and have been welcomed with warm and prompt service from Marlo. She takes the time to build a rapport with her customers and to follow-up even when not necessary. To me, that type of customer service approach can only be found in certain individuals. I got a BMW 550GT from Bayside a few weeks ago. I worked with Ross for a few weeks because i originally came in for a X6. Ross was very patient with me and took me on 3 different test drives. Ross is the difference in why I choose this dealer, i went to every dealer in nassau county. He even stayed after the dealer closed to continue to help me set up my cars features. I walked in to BMW NOT to buy a car. I had my sets on just passing through on my way to purchase a more "affordable" vehicle. Mr. Jacome was a huge surprise in terms of the way he approached me in terms of "selling" i.e. being a sales man. I NEVER once felt as if he was trying to sell me a piece of machinery. He truly loves BMW and you can tell. He took me for a test drive and I instantly fell in love with the car. When we got back to the dealership he really worked with me on price points that would be reasonable to me. Overall he will get my recommendation any time and I will always go back to James and BMW of bayside when Im ready for a new car.

I went to bayside a couple of weeks ago to buy a certified used bmw528xi I was greeted by Ross Lubell from the start. He was very good and took care of me and my grandmother the whole time. While we waited for the papers to be printed up at the other dealership Ross went out of his way and went to the store to buy us water from the grocery store. In my years with dealing with sales personal I have never been we'll taken cared of the way Ross had took cared of me. I was looking for a certified pre-owned BMW, made my appointment and met with Ross Lubell. Ross guided me through the selection process, was patient with me, answered all my questions (which I had many), and helped me decide which BMW best fit the amount of money I had budgeted and the type of car with most of the accessories accessories I wanted. I have been to BMW of Bayside twice in the past month or so because of two separate issues and both time i got Michael Krulewich as my advisor. And I want to tell everyone about my first experience then my second experience needs a section of it's own. What happened was I bought the car in because a light came on in the car and my wife complained about hearing some noises under the car, so I figured I check them both out. when I got there Michael was my advisor and asked me what noise sounded like and I told him that my wife explained to me it was a knock that she heard when driving at certain speeds. So when I explained that to Michael he wanted to know was it a loud knock or thump and if I could explain the sound to him further. I told him that is the best I could give him because my wife drives the car. He turns to me and says, "let's call her" I thought well it's her day off and it's a sound in the car, so just check it, why call her? but he kept insisting and I like a fool dialed her number so she could tell him the same thing I told him which it sounded like a knock. Seriously I felt a little dumb that I just woke up my wife to ask her what sound it was to diagnose the car.To make a long story short the light came on to change my inspection and the sound was a bar on top of the engine that was just loose.

Jose is one of the most genuine person I have ever came across in sales. He is honest and straight to the point. Me and my husband bought our first BMW through Jose May of last year (2011). We actually went back about two weeks ago to the dealership to add a warranty to our car and my husband fell in love with another car in the show room. After debating on whether or not he wanted to trade, a few dealers came up to us asking if they could help but because we had such a great experience with Jose. We asked to speak to him. He was not in the office at the time so my husband decided that we would come back to speak to him. We went back two days later and as soon as Jose saw us he came straight up to us and was like how are you doing. We were impressed that he remembered our names. A lot of these dealers are only in to make a sale but Jose actually make relationships with all of his customers. Adam who helped with the financing of the car was extremely helpful as well.In conclusion we traded in the car and was very happy with the price Jose worked out for us. I highly recommend him and we will be seeing him again when we decide to trade or buy another.

I have to say Bayside's service department is top notch. Although I was not yet due for service and I did not purchase my X5 from BMW of Bayside I was in the area and needed help setting up my blue tooth. Without any if, ands, or buts Marlo the Service Manager came out to help me. The entire staff was professional and pleasant which was a refreshing change from other service departments I have been to. Regardless if I am in the area or not I will not only be taking my BMW to this location from here on out. The professionalism and caring that the dealer showed is above and beyond.I would refer the dealer to any friend, client or family member.

I've been searching for months for the prefect pre-owned BMW. This was going to be my first BMW so I wasn't sure what to expect. Once I located it in BMW of Bayside I emailed them and right away, I received a response from client advisor Cesar Zavala within a few minutes. After a couple of emails and brief phone call, Cesar explained the car was still available and I didn't sense any pressure from them at all. Once I decided I was serious about purchasing this vehicle, I was transferred to Sales Manager Demetri Koulouris who was very professional was well. We had a short conversation to discuss the terms since I'm an out of state buyer and when I'd be able to take delivery of the car. He explained all the fees upfront and the there were no bogus fees like most dealers charge so after we agreed on the price out the door, I placed a security deposit on the car and most paper work was taken care off electronically. I booked my flight and was there that following weekend Upon my arrival at BMW Bayside I was greeted by Demetri, and he showed my car vehicle which had been professional detailed and there was even a "Sold" sign hanging in the window with my name on it. I've had a bad experience in the past where a car was sold even though I had a deposit on it so this was a nice touch. There was a line to getting into the F&I office because they were so busy selling cars (What does that tell you about the dealership?) But in the mean time Demetri stuck around and didn't just leave me waiting. I didn't mind browsing the new car showroom. They made sure I was taken care of as far was food and drink while I waited. Shortly after I was driving my CPO 335i back to Ohio. I was very impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of all the staff from the time I walked in the door to the time I left. I've purchased several cars in the past and this has been one of my best experiences. I would purchase from this dealership again.

From the phone call to the face to face we knew that this was the right decision. We are repeat customers of BMW of Bayside having owned two previous vehicles. Marty Friedman was exceptional. The most personabe and genuine individual we've encountered. Marty made sure that every step leading up to us picking up the car went perfect. Our daughter is estatic and he made her first experience buying a car a real positive one. He treated her with respect and as a young adult. He thoroughly and patiently explained all the features of the car. As she drove away last night with her very first car, she could not say enough about Marty. We've had a real positive experience, even better than the first two. Our purhcase went well because Marty took the time to work with us and understand our concerns. Along with John, who is the Manager in the pre owned division, they made this dream come true for our daughter. Words cannot describe how much of a difference Burc Yurtsel and manager Anthony Natale BMW of Bayside made into leasing my third BMW. In all actually I recently left Rallye BMW of Westbury and was ready to lease an Audi or Mercedes Benz this year. But if it wasnt for Burcs great salesmanship, level of understanding and him going above and beyond his duty to help get what my wife and I wanted we would have gone somewhere else. Again, I emphasize how much Burc was the chief difference in me continuing to lease with BMW, rather than with Audi or Mercedes Benz. I particularly liked it when he made time for my wife and I in regards to whatever we needed. Even with casual conversation, we sensed a great level of trust, compassion, and understanding with Burc. We felt very comfortable around Burc. Even on his days off, he made sure that if we happen to stop by the dealership for any other matter, he made sure that there was someone that would take care of us in his absence. Besides the fact the he gave us his business card and saying you can call me for anything, Burc Yurtsel of BMW of Bayside REALLY means it. Let me explain; I never had a salesman call ever so often like Burc to just say how is the new car? Or; do you need anything else? Even if he doesnt get to me, he leaves a detailed message expressing his availability. And furthermore, if thats not good enough he sends a courtesy text message as well. If BMW of North America can say a Floor salesman does all this, then a standing ovation to BMW. But from my previous BMW salesman experience, no one even comes close, or better yet, no other salesmen are comparable to Burc! Every salesmans technique and etiquette should emulate what Burc Yurtsel does. Another great experience I must say that exemplifies how Burc goes above and beyond for his customers was when I said that there were small rusty particles I noticed in the front bumper of my new car. I immediately brought it back to him even after I washing it. And what does Burc do, he goes and gets a compound and a microfiber cloth and buffers it all off by himself! What salesman you know would roll up their sleeves, get down on their knees on a hot day and buff a bumper themselves. AMAZING! And if thats not enough, he further adds that when I service my vehicle next he says that if I am not completely satisfied the service department can go further and mechanically buff or touch up the front bumper if I wanted to. That was very comforting to know. Words are not enough to describe how much Burcs whole demeanor and level servitude are to his customers. As you know I believe that customer satisfaction is what will separate BMW to all other competitors. A salesperson like Burc is what will redefine BMW and really set the benchmark for the TRUE Ultimate Driving Machine experience. Because when you can couple an individual/salesman like Burc with BMW; your actually company will essentially leave other competitors behind. Words cannot describe enough how much Burc goes above and beyond his actual duty. He exemplifies unparalled service excellence, stands by customer satisfaction, uncanny interpersonal skills, and unsurpassed level of understanding. In conclusion, I hope that Burc gets recognized for all his valiant efforts that surely goes un-noticed. And I know why it can go un-noticed, because its what Burc does on a regular basis. i would like to start off by saying what a great sales person i had come across at BMW of Bayside. Quinn is a fantastic person and it was a pleasure to work with him. he answered all my questions and made me feel so comfortable when it came down to buying a car. My family and I had came in to look for a bmw x5. I'll be honest we were not interested in purchasing a car at the time. However, we just came to look around. Quinn approached me and brought great knowledge about the vehicle i was interested in. He took his time and helped me find the right vehicle with the specifications i requested. He also worked with me with the pricing for the car. Initially I didn't want to jump right away into purchasing the first car i seen so i went to rally bmw to find another vehicle for a good price. However the salesman at rally did not seem interested in working with my family on purchasing a car. Neither did he even try on working on an acceptable price. so i figured i might as well go back to where i felt most comfortable which was bmw of bayside. As i went back Quinn did his best to accommodate my families needs and also made us a happy buyer. We proceeded with our transaction and bought the car. Everyone at the dealership was very helpful and made the process seems easier then ever. After the transaction was over we had to come back to pick up the car the very next day, so the dealership can have time to clean the car and do what ever service was needed. Now the very next day the story begins to get interesting. we arrive at the dealership happier then ever to pick up the car. As we arrived we were told that the car had some finishing touches that need to be made before we could get the car. i found it to be acceptable and did not mind waiting. As time passed by the salesman came to us and told us that the machine to inspect the car is not working and that we would not be able to get the car. right away i was upset because i felt that the dealership had more then enough time to prepare the car before we come to pick it up. I felt as if i had wasted my time and day by coming to the dealership. i just wished they were able to communicate a little better to have an understanding of what was going on so that way they could of called me and told me not to come, therefore, i wouldn't had wasted my time. The sales manager approached us and apologized for the inconvenience and as upset as i was i understand there was nothing he could possibly do. The sales manager even tried to accommodate us by giving us a loaner. In addition, the sales manager told me that there was a problem with one of the sensors so the car was unable to pass inspection. At that moment i was confused because i was told that there was something wrong with the inspection machine not the car!! so i don't know exactly what the real story was behind everything. However, as eager as i was to pick up the car i had no choice but to postpone the pick up for another day. i greatly appreciate the sales managers effort on trying to accommodate our needs. The very next day, we were told to come by and pick up the car again. This time the sales person (Quinn) whom i had bought the car from was not present and they had another salesman named Jose who took over and tried his best to pick up where Quinn had left off. Lost as he was, Jose did his best to help us out and he even went out of his way to pick up the car from great neck where it was serviced and brought it to the dealership where i can pick it up. When i finally picked up the car, the car had half a tank of gas, a deep scratch on the front bumper and another scratch on the rear back bumper which needed to be addressed because i was told they would of taken care of it before i picked up the car. After i jumped in the car and began to drive it home, Jose ran up from behind the car and stopped me just to tell me that i had to pay $450.00 to pick up the car which was NOT addressed during the entire transaction. this caught me off guard. I ended up paying the $450.00 and picked up the car with the scratches and half tank of gas as if i had any other choice. i just wanted to point out that although there were complications, Jose did a phenomenal job in helping me out and addressing the issues. The next day i had to make an appointment with the service center to address the issues. From my perspective, everyone at the service center was extremely helpful and nice. The only problem is its hard to get in contact with the service advisors. Overall, the service department was phenomenal and so was Jose. I would like to thank everyone at BMW of bayside for their great efforts and also for truly making this a great experience.

Jose Rivas truly went above and beyond my expectations with his assistance when purchasing my CPO 650i a few weeks ago. He was very friendly and was able to answer all my questions regarding my purchase. Now 23 I wanted to make up for this lost time with something awesome. So a brand new BMW was obviously the best way to go about it. My wife and I visited with the intention of checking pricing we received on a 2011 328ix from a competing BMW dealer. Even though we live in Manhattan and it would have been more convenient for us to lease our car in the city, James was so focused on getting us the best pricing, even after 90 minutes of questions and bargaining at closing time on a Saturday evening, that we leased the car on the spot from him (and he did beat the other dealer's pricing). James also put us at ease that the distance between our home and the dealership would not be an issue for servicing. Additionally, the only day that we could pick up our new car fell on James's day off, but he came in anyhow to make sure the delivery was smooth. I would definitely recommend James to anyone who is interested in buying or leasing a BMW. The Finance Manager also was great at answering fairly esoteric questions about lease pricing and a pleasure to deal with. Overall, a very good experience.

I knew I had a good salesman when Sean agreed to wait for me to get off work, even though he was off. The dealership honored the internet price, when I got there. The purchasing paperwork went smoothly as well. After the purchase was finalized I was impressed that Sean took the time to make sure I was comfortable operating the controls in the car. He paired my phone with the bluetooth, programmed my address into the navigation system, showed me how to play my ipod through the idrive system, and much more. Every request that I made was met. I originally didn't expect to buy a BMW, but when I did some research I decided that it might be a better investment. I went into the dealership with an idea of what I wanted and how much I could afford, and Quinn and his sales manager were very helpful in getting me the exact car I wanted and helping me get a rate and a payment I could manage. Within the past year i have gone to 2 different dealerships for my family to purchase a vehicle for my dad and you meet the same type of dealers, liars, fake and quiet annoying with pressuring you to get a car that you may not be able to afford. I write this recommendation with complete sincerity. After spending 3 days going from dealership to dealership indecisive about what kind of car I wanted or in fact whether purchasing a car, or leasing one was the wisest decision, I happened upon BMW of Bayside. I was expecting another "sales person" encounter. I had just left and tested a benz, and was so disappointed, not only in the drive of the vehicle but in the hard sell tactics I had dodged. I was introduced to Mr. James Jacome and was immediately surprised by his knowledge. He explained all of my options, answered all of my questions, and was so helpful without being pushy and obnoxious. He looked for ways to keep my payments at a reasonable amount, one I could afford and be comfortable with. I always imagined that my first car buying experience would be fun, and even though at the point I went into BMW of Bayside I was ready to give up, James was awesome. After two weeks of hard work by Service Advisor (Jen) and BMW technicians at the dealership. I will be able to pick up my car tomorrow. Jen also believes that it would be best for me not to pick up the car right a way, but to test drive it to make sure that all the problems are resolved. My car is a lease. 2011 335i M-Package. There were serveral problems with the car. 1. Noise was coming out of the drivers door (too much plastic in the car).2. Noise was coming out of the engine inside of cabine when engine temperature reached certain degree (240) to be exact.Torque Converter was identified as a problem.

My family and I were driving to Vermont last week, when our car lost power and we were stuck on the side of a highway in Vermont. We were literally in the middle of nowhere and it was quite scary. After making a few phone calls (it was late) I decided to send an email to Marlo Bellizzi (I had very little expectations because it was Sunday and late) However she was the first one to get back to me and really helped put a scary situation at ease. She told us to relax she would handle everything. She was outstanding to deal with and her follow up was impeccable. I am not sure in this day and age of customer service where your on hold or forever or you can never speak with someone in person! Marlo was incredible. She spent a couple hours out of her Sunday night to accommodate us. She even located a hotel for us! She delivered on everything she said she would as far as getting BMW roadside assistance and making sure everything was handled swiftly and professionally. She even had us call her cell phone late at night to assure her we got in safely. I am not one for customer reviews but I felt the need to Thank BMW for the way this matter was handled. Thanks.

This dealership is very good. This is the second car I have leased through Bayside BMW and both experiences were very satisfying. The staff in the dealership is friendly yet professional. I was greeted at the door by a receptionist and she made it a point to get my name, remember it and use it every time I arrived to see my sales associate. My Sales Associate, Charles Caporimo, was very professional. He was friendly and helpful. He listened to what I had in mind for my next car and he offered suggestions. He worked with me to get the vehicle I wanted and the terms I needed. I made a decision at 10 am and my new car was ready for me to pick up at 6 pm that same evening. There was never any of the pressure that is usually associated with purchasing a car. When I went to pick up the car my sales associate spent time showing me the features and assisting me in setting up the car so I could drive off comfortably. I visited two other dealerships while shopping for my new car and I selected Bayside because I felt my sales associate was working to satisfy my requests. I have recommended the dealership to friends and I will return to them in the future.

I have had a terrible experience with this dealer's service department. Eveytime I take my car there something else breaks after 1 or 2 weeks, making me wonder what the hell they are doing. Are they tweaking the car so something will break eventually so you can go back? They always come up with a list of things which need fixing at a ridculous cost not covered by warranty. Last time I was facing a $3,000 recommended maintenance.

Bought a 2008 X3 from 500 miles away. Communication was excellent, and the car was about as perfect as you can find in a used car. We flew in, picked up the car, spent the weekend in NYC and drove home. We noticed they had a huge inventory of certified used BMW's and they appeared to all be in excellent condition. Danny told us if they get a trade that doesn't meet standards, they don't put it on their lot and that genuinely appeared to be the case.

My new 750 Li X has been at the Bayside BMW dealer for 1 month. I have also contacted customer service at BMW USA . They haven't fixed the car, the dealer lies and misrepresents the work orders. The company is run like a fraud. Also, BMW USA tell you the same lies . When I went today to pick up the car, the manager refused to test drive the auto so I could see if it worked, the staff is nasty and very unprofessional.

This place has amazing service upon my arrival we came in for a 2006 330ci blue on tan my dream car having just retired from being a driver for over 50 yrs i know cars and had been searching for a while for just the right one and at first were very upset the location was wrong i went to a vacant lot that had a sign that said that they moved to another location i arrived there and it was the service department then they sent me to another location it was only new cars they then sent me to the used car lot which was only 2 blocks from where i had started. they had 2 strikes against them. i walked in and was immediately greeted by a young man named brian who knew exactly which car i was looking for stating that he loved driving that car with the top down. but then things went bad again when brian thought that the car might had gone to the auction or service. That was it 3rd strike we were leaving i mean what kind of run around was this. After quite a wait and me leaving for coffee. Finally the car was located it was at service were we had gone too in the first place. So we drive all the way back to service and they had the car ready when we got there. Finally my gleaming 330ci loaded and in mint condition just as i had seen it online except for one defect the cup holder had a crack in it... my wife picks up on these things. Then i didnt see brian anymore i looked around for him and he was yelling at me from across the lot we had parked in a handicap spot and i was about to get a ticket but brian spoke with the man and no $260 ticket was issued. I finally got behind the wheel of this beauty brian dropped the top put on the seat warmers on and we took it for a spin drove like a dream. The negotiation was a breeze since the advertized price was $4000 below any other bmw dealer all i asked was to replace the cup holder. Brian stated that it might be a problem because the whole middle console would have to be replaced. I returned two days later to pick the car up. the cup holder had not been fixed as agreed however Conrad explained the part was on order and i returned 3 days later and it was finally replaced. Ive bought many cars is my life time and the only difficulty in this purchase was finding where we needed to go. brian was very calming when i was getting aggravated and also a stern negotiator (parking tickets and price)but when the price is right to begin with its easy. Conrad assured me that everything would be taken care of and it was. Now ive been driving luxury cars my whole life but always for work and now finally i have my own 330ci that i will always be driving with the top down in florida. Thank you bmw bayside brian and conrad for turning my frown upside down i was seriously gonna leave when i heard that the car wasnt there and after the hoping from place to place.

I was out on Long Island visiting family on New Year's Eve and I knew that Bayside had a specially optioned 550i that I was interested in purchasing. I shopped other dealers in the morning and made my way to Bayside just after lunch. After a short test drive I decided that this was the car for me. I was due to leave on business the following day so I needed Bayside to make the deal happen that afternoon. Jose Rivas is the sole reason why I bought my m3 not only did he convince me it was a good buy but he was also very knowledgeable. What I liked about Jose the most was that he also owns a BMW so that was also a plus. He is a real friendly guy he even took time on his day off to meet up with me at the dealership so I could test drive it. The only issue with my car was that it was missing an owners manual and a secondary key, I called Jose and let him know about it and with no if, ands or buts a few days later I had what I requested in my hands. Overall a great guy he should be in the new showroom!! I also wanna add that Don Masters is a great guy and very funny. He made the financing and warranty process look easy. Thanks again.. I decided to buy the car only after meeting this young energetic man Jose Rivas the key man at pre-owned sales center. I have visited many dealerships in the past of different vehicles but I never came across a friendlier person than Jose Rivas. In fact the only person capable of rendering quality customer care is none other than Jose Rivas who spent hours even after the close of the sale in explaining the various features of the vehicle.He is really a star sales man having vast knowledge of the vehicle as well as who can meet the expectations of any new buyer unlike some of his counter parts. First day, I met Jose in the evening and I returned the next day morning to clinch the deal. However, Jose was not there and I had a horrendous experience with another arrogant salesman. I was about to leave the place without buying when the Manager Conrad intervened.I was informed that Jose would be there very soon. Luckily he was there soon and we bought the vehicle just for him andhis help.Jose closed the sale and he was so much helpful that I could get the vehicle out the same day.Jose Rivas seem to be playing the second man's fiddle there and he needs the lift that will definitely bring commendable sales to the dealership. Yes, I can recommend any prospective buyer to meet this wonderful personality if they are looking for customer service of gold standard in finalizing the best deal.

I came in to the dealership not knowing what I want so I was more or less just looking around. It looks like these sales guys seem to all sense that I was not ready to buy a car yet and did not even bother to ask me if I needed any help but there was one guy that seemed like he just came back from lunch or something that saw us and came up to us right away and asked if we needed any help and that his name is Quinn. At that time I was like why not let me see what they have to offer me. So we sat down with Quinn and I explained to him that I do not know what I want yet. Quinn was nice enough to take me around and show me what they had on hand and then I just fell in love with this little black coupe (328xi). Then we went back to his office and he gave me some prices that were right in my price range. Then after a little back and forth we finally got to a price that I was happy with and I ended up buying the car. If it was not for Quinn my salesman I would have ended up buying the car from another dealership.

Charlie was very professional, easy to work with and was available 6 days a week. Leased a 2012 750I and the entire process went very smooth. After we negotiated a fair deal and ordered the car Charlie called back to advise that a new program became available and was lowering my lease payments even more. First of all, when I walked through the door, I knew exactly what I was looking for, and the price I wanted to pay. I have to be honest, I didn't have high expectations for the price and/or deal I was going to get, but to my surprise, I ended up getting a great deal. James even convinced me to purchase the wheel/tire package as well as the additional vehicle location (security) system, 'Intercept.' This, of course, added to the monthly payment and total cost, but to my surprise, the price was still within my range because of all the incentives and deals James sought out for me. I have already blown out a tire, so the wheel/tire package has already paid off, and provided me with great peace of mind. I purchased a 2011 BMW 535i with X-drive. This was the car I wanted, model, color and options. I am overly satisfied with the car - handling, acceleration, electronics/interior, etc. The car looks great, I get great compliments, and the car (surprisingly) drives really smooth, even on 19" rims and run-flats. As far as James goes, he was very involved from the beginning throughout the sale, and has become a contact/colleague of mine as a result. I will go back to him for my next car, any issues or problems, and will recommend anyone I know in the "BMW" or "luxury" car market to not waste their time and go directly to him. James is easy to talk to, relate to, and does not come off as a car salesman. I have purchased/leased cars in the past, and as soon as I drove off the lot, I never heard from those dealers again. I have spoken to James at least 10 times since the sale regarding car questions, service and questions about customizing the car, which he is very learned on.

I won't write too much since my low review will be looked at as an outlier and my experience an exception to the norm, but here goes:BMW of Bayside is by far the *least* professional car dealership I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I thought buying my Nissan a few years ago was bad, but this place takes the cake without a doubt AND I DIDN'T EVEN GO THROUGH THE ENTIRE SALES PROCESS.Long story short: I went one night to test drive a Z4 and was told I'd have to come back another day because it was on the showroom floor--fair enough, I understand. Two days later, I drive the 45 minutes back to Bayside BMW hoping to discuss pricing on the car. After speaking to the secretary (who left me standing around for at least 5 minutes while she finished up what was clearly a personal phone call) and asking to work with an advisor who spoke Spanish, she introduced me to James Jacome (Seated directly to the left as you walk in). From there, James began screwing up back-to-back, starting with him telling me that the sales price of the car was irrelevant when leasing, even after I told him that I knew that was not the case. After going back and forth for a little bit and collecting all of my information and asking that he share with me the money factor and lease terms they used to calculate an advertised price, he came back and said, "Kid, let me teach you a few things." ...I am 25 and have a well paying career; I am not a kid. I wasn't even called a kid when I was in high school and went to Audi to buy my first car, an '01 TT. Talking down to your clients has to be the dumbest thing you can possibly do, and James did it. My visit ended shortly thereafter. When I called the dealership 30 minutes later to speak to the manager (Tony), he informed me that James had told him that the reason I had left was because I had asked for $15,000 for my car (which is $3,000 more than I know the car is even worth). Yes, he lied. Tony told me he'd call me back with the price of the car I was interested in and it's been more than a week later and I still haven't heard back from him.Yesterday I heard from another manager at the dealership who said she was going to discuss my experience with upper management and that she would get back to me about the price of the car or a model I would be interested in ordering and again they haven't called me.The cars truly must really sell themselves, because the staff seem to go out of their way in some cases to stop that from happening.(In contrast, my experience at BMW of the Hudson Valley which is about an hour or so north was much, much, much better. Friendly staff, low pressure sales process, etc. When you're spending tens of thousands of dollars, you deserve to be treated a lot better, regardless of how young you look.)(Follow up: I just received a call from the dealer, but they didn't leave a number. When I called, the receptionist sounded confused when i explained I was looking to speak to a manager and then abruptly put me on hold to transfer me. When she then picked up again and asked what I need, I explained I would just wait to hear back from whoever called, at which point she just hung up. This place just keeps getting better and better.)

My husband and I went to many dealerships and NONE OF THEM provided the level of service tht Bayside of BMW did. Our salesmen Dale went above and beyond to get us in our vehicle. A 2003 325ci in mint condition with only 23,000 miles!!! At one point we had a family crisis and he still maintained such professionalism and showed actual care and concern. The GM whose name I can't remember as well as the financier Don Masters didn't make us feel like we were being sold, they actually listened to us and helped and showed concern. We will be going back next month to purchase my vehicle an X5 and will use Dale!

I walked into the wrong store at first, to be greeted by Quinn. He told me this is pre-owned, but I can help you with new he said. We drove up to the new showroom. He showed me the car I wanted and did two test drives. One with a 328xi and another with a 335xi. We got fair prices from Quinn, but being a customer I had to ask for a better price. That's when Tony came in and gives me a price I can not say no to.So we order the car. I picked it up in the hottest summer in history. The car was ready to go for me and Mr. Dellow took care of the paperwork. Quinn took me out to the car and show me around the car and thats when I saw allot of glue marks. Quinn tries to take off with some stuff they had there, but it did not work. So he said dont worry we going up to the detailer to get it off. We get there and I saw the best team work I ever saw, with one guy name alberto, who called some other guy and Quinn and this guy started taking off all the glue on my new car, which took almost 3 hours in over 98 degrees weather. I felted so bad for Quinn with his tie on, I told him to take it off. He said no because the V.P. of sales wants to fire me for having my tie lose or off. I love my car and I love Bayside BMW. You need to deal with Quinn, Tony and Alberto. They have a great team there.

I used guite some time to find a good BMW that would match my quality and price expectations and I found it from BMW of Bayside. I moved to US from Finland and this is my first car in US. I called trough probably 20 different dealers during the car hunt and there are a lot of shady players in the market who like to add all kinds of hidden costs and bad finance deals to car deal. BMW of bayside didn't have any of this suspicious activity going on. Everything was honest and straight forward. It was pleasure to do business with Quinn Muy. Honest and nice guy. As a foreigner I really recommend these guys, because there were many dealers that were not willing to sell car to me since I didn't have local drivers licence, but these guys were willing to work trough the process with me so thumbs up!Also the manager Don Masters was a professional and nice guy!

My vehicle was brought into Bayside for a rim and tire replacement. Maybe due to miscommunication, my first appointed service advisor was unable to resolve my issue. I emailed Marlo and she replied that very night in response to my problems and said she would help. She greeted me right away when I brought in my vehicle and wrote out all the issues I needed to be dealt with. She left me a loaner and said she'll take care of everything. She kept me posted on the status of my vehicle and returned calls right away. In conclusion, when I received my vehicle again she had resolved everything and did much more. She's a great service advisor and I am grateful for her help and professionalism. If anyone ever ventures out to Bayside service, I recommend Marlo.

I initially had planned to go to Rally BMW. I found myself lost and actually stopped intermediately at a BMW dealership on Northern Blvd. I did not get the welcome that I hoped for me and my wife so I decided to head back home to CT. Then just before we got on the highway back over the Throggsneck bridge we suddenly found BMW of Bayside. Immediately before I even got a chance to open the front door. I very respectable man took the lead and opened the door for me and my family. He said his name was "Don". He expectiously referred me to Conrad Theiner who quickly gave me and my family a vote of confidence that made us feel like Bayside was where we belong.Conrad was able to multi-task and provide both sales and financial assistance to me. It was actually a pleasure.As a Consumer you must know what you want to buy before walking a BMW dealership. I knew exactly what I wanted before I walked into BMW of Bayside. All my questions were answered appropriately, I was not pursuaded to buy options I really don't need. I felt a sense of re-assurance by this team.I was allowed to test drive the car I was planning to purchase twice and on one ocassion I was allowed to drive it home into my garage to ensure it would fit (I live 5 miles from dealership). It gave me peace of mind.I added/modified the Car options three or four times before the car went into production. I applaud Peter Grosse for taking the time to redo my paperwork everytime. Thanks to Peter Turano for pushing the production date forward.I picked up my new X3 on 10/26 and the saying 'You Get What You Pay For' is so true. I have no complaints. I am very happy and love all the options I added to this Car. Peter Grosse was very attentive to my questions and I was told to stop by anytime to review the car and its features and if I needed additional training.My original intent was to buy a Pre-owned Certified but changed my mind and decided to buy a new car. Although I spent a lot more than I wanted I am so glad I did.Every BMW dealership in the NY tristate area wanted to make me a deal and wanted my business even at a lower price but I opted and chose BMW of Bayside for two reasons, (1)I live close to the dealership and (2) more importantly I was treated with respect, no mind games with a fair price. After visiting 4 local dealerships on Long Island I ended up buying a new 2011 528i from BMW of Bayside. Although it was actually the furthest from my house, the salesman and sales manager's no nonsense, direct approach was refreshing in an industry which is often filled with games and mine fields to navigate though. Burc, my salesman, was diligent in all his follow up using txt messaging and was never pushy. These guys actually made the car buying experience simple for once. In addition, their price was also the lowest which was a huge added bonus. They then delivered on time and car was perfect. I would highly recommend them.

I have had tremendous amounts of trouble with new 2008 bmw 335xi. It was back to service 4 times within the first 1 and half year for "engine malfunction." When it runs properly, it is a great car. But, way too many problems. Also, bmw of bayside will NOT give you loaner. You have to wait 4 weeks before they will give you a loaner. Terrible policy. Will NEVER buy from this dealer again.

Upon entering the BMW of Bayside Used Dealership, I was greeted immediately by Quinn, who was very friendly and knowledgable. He didn't make me feel pressured to purchase, for it was the first dealership I visited to begin my used car search. I honestly made the purchase because of Quinn's friendliness, and the deal he offered me. When I'm ready to upgrade my X-3, I'll definitely look for Quinn before anyone else. I had a great experience overall, and I could'nt be more satisfied.

I am happy to say that I had a great experience this time and would definitely return in the future. Burc is a very friendly and knowledgeable salesperson who will spend the time to go over all the details. I had a great experience with purchasing a brand new BMW! The general Manager (sorry can't remember his name) and my Sales Rep Charles C. were extremely helpful and handled all of my questions and concerns in a prompt and professional manner. I purchased my car without any issues, and Charles handled all of my paperwork very quickly and efficiently. Charles C. went above and beyond to ensure that I was a happy customer by calling me periodically to check if everything was okay with my car. It was a pleasure doing business with you and I would definitely refer someone else to this dealer's location.

on 4/6/11 I brought my car in to bmw for repair. I had white smoke coming from my exaust after idleing for a few minutes. Also my check engine oil level warning light kept going on. Also the cars oil level would be low every 2-3 weeks even after I replenished the oil levels with new oil. BMW advised me that my crank case vent valves were torn, I advised them to make the repair. I was also advised that my valve cover gaskets were leaking on both banks, I advised BMW to make this repair as well. It cost me $3,000 in total. After a few days the white smoke was back and so was the check engine oil level light. I made an appointment with BMW but, had to wait 4 weeks for a loaner, I missed my first appointments because my son was sick. I had to wait another 4 weeks for my next appointment in order to get a loaner. When I finally got my car back into BMW of bayside, the service advisor and service manager advised me (with out actually looking at my car) that there must be a new problem causing this issue and not the repairs that they had made in April. There advising me that the new problem is my "valve stem seals" and it is going to cost me $5,000. AFTER the fact that they repaired the wrong issue, I was advised by the service manager that, there are three particular causes of the white smoke/check engine oil level light issues and that they just went ahead with out advising me first, to repair the less expensive problem of the three. When they could have located the problem during their first diagnoses. Instead of paying $5,000 for a repair, I paid $3,000 and now they won't acknowledge that and want me to pay another $5,000 for the same exact problems I was having in April. My service advisor (mike) referenced not knowing me from a hole in the wall and was not there in April so he couldnt vouch for us basically. The service manager advised me that there is nothing they can do. If I want to have the car fixed I must commit to paying $5,000 more dollars. So in total I will be paying $8,000 to repair the same exact problem that they were suppose to fix! I feel swindled and taken advantage of. One problem, 2 service visits, 2 different charges. If I wanted to guess what the problem was and be wrong, I would have tried a DIY. I want them to repair the correct problem. They repaired issues with my car that did not fix my problem. They did not ever advise me that the problem they were going to repair may or may not fix my issues. I was told that they new what the problem was and that they would fix it. I trusted in professionals and they were wrong!

After having bad experiences in the past from BMW dearships and service centers in different parts of NY and NJ from previously owned BMW's I decided to purchase through BMW of Bayside the experience was pleasant and the ability to get a deal done in a timely and costly matter was incredible. I have had real bad experiences in the past especially with the service centers until I met Marlo Bellizzi. I took my car in for a recall an oil change and a few other minor repairs. She handled me professionally, showed me courtesy and the time frame was unbelievable in regards to when my car was brought in to when it was completed. In the past I would have to wait weeks for a loaner and here it was handled within 24 hrs because I called introduced myself and told her about previous bad experiences from other BMW service centers. Marlo was sympathetic to my past bad experiences and my needs going forward. She also called me and updated me every step of the way in regards to the progress of my vehicle. She especially went above and beyond to return all of my calls and emails in a prompt manner and even made herself available to handle my car during one of our infamous snow storms this past winter. I feel extremely comfortable calling or emailing Marlo at any time to bring my car in for service knowing that the job will always get done correctly in the best available time frame....

I purchased a BMW from Bayside because it was, by far, the best deal available within a couple of hundred miles of my home. Other dealers said they would match it, but never came through. I was leery that perhaps when I arrived (after a 3 hour drive), there would be some attempt to retrade at Bayside (either on the new car or my trade)--I had no relationship with the dealer at all. Instead, I received zero hassle and a true commitment to customer satisfaction. I have dealt with many auto salespersons over the years, but none who impressed me as much as Sean Parks. Awesome dealership, received the best in customer service from salesman Peter Grosse. Got a great price on the vehicle (535xi) and since I had certain specific options and didn't want to wait for it to be built, Peter was able to locate a proper match at another dealership in Suffolk. Car arrived a few days after with no problems. In the meantime I was having insurance issues from geico since they were giving me a different quote than what was originally told to me and Peter put forth the effort to contact them on more than one occasion to make sure everything was accurate with what I was originally told by geico. Could not expect anything better. Will definitely come back to this dealership in the future.

She goes the extra mile for all of her clients. I had moved to Texas for 2 years, now am back in NY and can't think of a better dealership to deal with. Marlo makes sure that everyone gets the highest level of service in a timely and systematic way. She has a wonderful relationship with her staff which shows. The truth of the matter is I would not have purchased my BMW 535xi from Bayside BMW if it were not for the exceptional service and dedication that Sean Parks shows to his customers. He went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and valued as a customer and this was way before he found the car that he knew was best for me. During my first visit to Bayside, Sean checked through his sales inventory, and found there was no car in their stock that fit my very precise criteria. However, unlike previous dealership I visited, he did not stop there. He called the CPO manager in front of me and spoke to him on speaker phone so there was complete transparency, making me fully aware that he and said manager were making it a priority to find the vehicle I desired. When I returned back to the dealership less than 2 weeks later, which would have been my last visit because I had a car on hold at another dealership, the vehicle still was not available. He took it upon himself to dig a little deeper, into the car return log what he referred to as the bible, for cars that were recently returned but may have not been ready for the sales floor. There is where he found the car that had every detail and option I was looking for. He drove me to the service center to preview the car, and I was totally pleased. I told them I wanted the car by a specific date and to my delight the car was ready and waiting at time. I am completely satisfied with the exceptional service that was offered to me at this BMW location. Hands down it was the best service and dedication I came across in my car shopping experience, and that includes the various BMW dealerships in the surrounding area.

I'd like to take a few moments to write a few good words are Charlie Caporino who is an exceptional sales representative at BMW Bayside. I was at the end of lease and getting into a new BMW. We met Charlie and he made the experience easy and a pleasure. He went above and beyond with customer service and i recommend him to anyone looking to buy a new car. An example of his exceptional service was when i was working all day and he was trying to get me a loaner car. He did not have someone to drive the loaner over to me so he went 45 minutes out of his way to drive the car to my place of work. He treats you like family and is sincere. I never felt pressured or uncomfortable asking him questions. He returned my phone calls immediately and always found the answers i needed. Not to mention he had a great sense of humor! He always stayed late waiting for me if i ran late from work, in fact, the night we met him he stayed long after the showroom closed just to accomodate us. It is hard to find great customer service and I am extremely satisfied with BMW Bayside sales department. I will continue to be a BMW customer as long as people like Charlie continue to take the time out to make customer service their priority. As soon as I walked into the dealership, the staff was immediately very courteous and asked if I needed help without being very obtrusive. I was introduced to Mr. Parks who immediately helped narrow down my decision and then the option package that would work for me. More importantly he gave me a great price on the car and when I realized that I needed to add the Satellite radio, he did so at no additional cost. On the day of receiving the car, Mr. Parks walked me through the car and answered all my questions completely and accurately. His finance manager James ??? then walked me through additional packages without a hard sales attitude. I would highly recommend the BMW Bayside Team.

I've been bringing my BMW to bayside BMW for years and I can't say in all the times I've been there I've had a memorable experience until my last visit. It was my first time at they're new facility in Great Neck which despite it's size still made me feel welcome. But what really stood out was my experience with the service manager Marlo Velizzi. I'm not the most tech savy person and never really understood how to connect my phone to the Bluetooth. Everytime I've been there before everyone was nice enough to connect it for me But this time Marlo actually took the time to sit with me and teach me how to do it myself. Which was definately no easy task. It took around three or four tries till I really understood what marlo new like the back of her hand. She was extremely knowledgable, courteous and never made me feel rushed. Next time I'm due for service there's no doubt in my mind I'll be back to bayside to see Marlo.

I am unsure as to the validity of the "customer reviews" posted on this website. Firstly, the dealership, as another reviewer had mentioned, is a tad bit unprofessional and unfriendly. As this dealership is closest to my home, I have been a customer for about 8 years now. Recently, I stopped by the dealership to lease my 4th BMW and overhead a client advisor nearly shouting at a customer over price. As a result, I had to rethink about my loyalties to this place. Secondly, the service center has some shady service advisors who don't care too much about repairing customer vehicles properly or honestly. On one occasion, a certain Mr. Lopez took one month and a half to respond to a manufacturing defect on a brand new 535i and nearly left me high and dry, had I not constantly badgered him to get things resolved. Another SA, Mr. Fan tried to weasle his way out of fixing my busted struts on a two month old X5, under warranty. Another certain service advisor, Ricky, took me for a fool and messed up the trim on my vehicle. To top it off, the service center's reception staff is not the friendliest nor the most efficient group of people I have encountered, for a luxury brand that is. I can not fathom the need for me to wait over half an hour for a loaner vehicle, nor can I understand why they would assist other customers first when they come in later than me. It's a sad truth that customer service is not their first priority. Money is.

I live close to the Manhattan BMW dealership, after I tryed to get an Service appointment and been told to wait 2 weeks and some arrogant personalities, I tried something new. I drove out of Manhattan and visited Bayside BMW. No appointment needed!Mr. Itkin greeted me very friendly and out of my planed oil change for my X3, he showed me the history of my car (basically none) I end up with changing Oil + Filter, Micro filter, Air filter, Breake pads and disks, the engine belt Fr/Re wiper blades, breake fluid and flushing the Breake and cooling system. He showed me at the car that it really was necessary and not a sales strategy. Very Fair and Professional.I agreed and after 4 hours all was done, even my special request of changing the License plate frames, and a big plus a nice discount on the bill.I can only highly recommend this Dealership, very professional and customer orientated service, transparent process and answered all my questions. All thumbs up. Always again, worth the trip at all.Thank you BMW Bayside! See you again.

I called bayside BMW because my car was shaking and acting funny to my luck the service manager answered the phone. I explained to her that I have never been there and what was wrong. She told me to come right in and just ask for her. I got there pulled in and asked to speak to Marla. She came out and greeted me like she knew me for years. Asked me to have a seat while she has the car checked out. The car needed to stay for a reprogramming. She asked if in would like a car for a couple of hours. She took care of me like I was important. It was great a great experience and BMW of bayside has gained another customer because of Marla. Upon leaving she handed me her card and said call her anytime if I evervneed anything. It's so nice to see a women in her position

Steven was my SA. Bought my Z4 in when the AC was working and fog lights had severe condensation. He was very friendly, got my car checked in and offer me a ride from their shuttle. I had decided to wait since I had nothing to do. There was free coffee and bottle water at their waiting area. Pretty nice area, had TV and free wifi to keep you entertain. Steven got my car fixed up and schedule me for a replacement fog light the weekend after due to the part not in stock.They had offer to wash the car due to all the snow storm but I have a guy for that so I decline it.

My SA Steven Itkins has really pushed hard and assisted me with multiple warranty issues with my '05 X5 4.8is ranging from getting a new transmission, water pump, leaky power steering reservoir and now self-leveling suspension. I am always able to get a loaner even when I don't reserve one ahead of time. Sometimes the tech would forget to do things but Mr Itkins would always be on top of any issues making sure that I am totally satisfied. My X5 has been less than perfect but the service certainly has been up to par with what is expected when one see the BMW badge

Everything people write or say about the service manager Ms.Marlo is true I had the pleasure of meeting her when i just drove in with my tire light on I pulled in to the service drive and some guy came up to me and asked what I needed I explained that my tire light is on and I may just need air he told me I would have to wait at least forty min. And may have to pay. I was a bit taken back but ok so now I am waiting and no one came back I then see this woman(Marlo)come into the service drive she smiled at me and asked if I was being taken care of I told her I am not sure so she said well you are now "how can I help you" I explained to her my story and she then asked me to have a seat in the waiting area and she will take care of it. I was in and out in five min. I told her I have never serviced here before as I always go to Rallye but you can bet I will be returning to BMW Bayside Marlo made me feel warm and welcomed like I was important. She even gave me a cup of coffee to go. I could not have asked for better service.

I originally leased my car with BMW of Bayside a few years ago and was scheduled for a new lease when I learned my original dealer was no longer with the company. I have since moved out of state and reached out to Marlo when I saw the great reviews she received online. I have to say it was a great choice. What a pleasant person she is! The only reason I still go to BMW Bayside is because of the service manager Marlo. She is more than accommodating and professional. More than anyone that works there.. Always has a smile on and makes me, the client, very appreciated. Which a lot of the other advisors, or managers, there lack that skill.... There has been so many managers that have come and gone at that location, and she's still there. I'm not surprised simply because she is the BEST BMW Bayside has.. If Marlo ever leaves that location, i will not continue to go there and will follow her to any other dealership she might go to, even if it was out of my way.Thank you for all your help Marlo, and thanks to those behind the scene that perform an excellent job on my car...J.K

I recently purchased a CPO 2008 528i from BMW of Bayside. The process was smooth. I am very pleased with the staff, especially with Mr. Yat So's assistance and overall service. He was very courteous and customer service oriented. He went above and beyond my expectations. Since I work overseas I did intensive research on a decent car online until finally coming across a car I really liked, not just that, but the price as well from BMW of Bayside and thanks to Mr. Yat I have it now...I have it now because he helped me out by holding the car for me quite longer than usual (of course with the management's approval) since I was arriving in NY about 10 days later from the time I put the deposit on the car.I'd definitely buy again from BMW of Bayside. Bought a new 2010 7 Series,Car arrived on friday. We went by the dealership to take a look at it, it had 200 something miles, which was acceptable since it was driven from Philly.Pick up the car on monday. It had 800 miles on it. And it was unexplained. "it was test driven for 10 miles max" yet when we looked at it before the weekend, it had 600 miles less.We were given free weather mats!

I purchase my X5 from BMW of Bayside and the new service center is a welcomed addition. Everything is very efficient and my SA (Steve Ikin) took care to make sure my car was ready when promised. Wish they had more BMW loaner cars available (I used to get them at the old location, but both times I;ve needed one recently I've gotten an enterprise rental car). Overall, nice job with the location!

I brought my car to Bayside because the service center was close to my home and because, as I explained elsewhere, Rallye was simply incompetent. Frankly, I can't speak to Bayside's prior reputation but, at least in this new incarnation, they were exemplary. The service rep, Steve Itkin, was knowledgeable, reasonable and efficient and even offered to have the service manager, Ray, ride along with me to see if they could duplicate the problem I reported.Even though I didn't buy the car from them (so I didn't get a loaner or car wash, what's fair is fair) reception was very pleasant and I was given a shuttle ride right to my front door. It appears that most if not all of the personnel are new and this may be why the experience is different (again, I didn't service my car at the old place so I don't know for sure what it was like) but I'm glad that there is at least one knowledgeable BMW service department in Nassau County.

On arriving at the service department I was greeted by service advisor Steve Itkin who started the paperwork, I found him to be very cordial and knowledgeable. Everything went as planned although I would have preferred a loaner BMW as opposed to an Enterprise Ford Focus - no big deal. I had some doubts about BMW of Bayside service department after reading on line negative comments but Steve put my mind at ease in that my 335i coupe would be in his trustworthy hands. Had one glitch, Steve responded immediately and got the problem quickly resolved. Overall I am well satisfied, the Starbucks coffee was great and the waiting area quite comfortable, much better than the old facility.As long as Steve Itkin is my personal contact at the service department, I'll be back and recommend him to others.

the whole experience was very satisfying, from mumtaz who guided me though the purcahse of my 535i to the sales manager; to the finance manager who did not turn up the heat to buy extras. when i picked up the car last night my car was full of bayside employees and they were in my car for over ninety minutes teaching me how the car works. they also told me if i have any need for further instruction to stop by any time. all of them were cherrful and courteous. i would recomend this dealer the next time you purchase a vehicle.

Competitive Price, timely delivery, no hassel during all the processes...and very friendly people. Actually I compare the price among 2 other deealerships around my location. The other two gave me better price than bayside, but their delivery was too long. But I explained to bayside dealerships about the situation, then they promised the 6 week delivery with almost same price as the other twoo dealerships gave. They are very flexiable and considerate for customers' needs.

Stay far away. They are so rude, had an appointment and waiting 30 mins just to see an advisor. My wiper blades were shot and he told me thats changed ever year so I was two weeks away from a year and he could not do it and told it's my fault and that he bets they are just dirty and i didnt clean them. I will never go there again.

I have always been a Bemmer person and I have deal with different BMW delaers. Took my car twice to their service center and the two times had really bad experiences with them no doing a good job and having to take the car back after it came out of service. As far as the dealer it self; they are friendly (of course they want your money) but don't try to bring a trade-in they will always give you very lowball offer.I general you can get better quality service in another dealer and more money for your trade-in.

When I went into the market for a BMW 3 years ago, I was treated so well and so fairly at BMW of Bayside that there was no choice for me this time around...I am a very satisfied BMW of Bayside return customer. Paperwork was effortless, Diane could not have been nicer, and the dealership manager took a personal interest. Because I am a prior BMW owner, I have also had experience with their service department - and they have always been prompt, friendly and extremely accommodating. On one occasion, I needed to replace a tire that they didn't have in stock. They actually called a local supplier for me and had it set up so that the tire could be installed immediately. One of the best things I could say about them is that they still treat you as a valued customer, even after the sale is made. I would highly recommend BMW of Bayside!

I was looking at my current issue of AAA magazine and saw the number for BMW of Bayside. I made the call and received a call back within a half hour from David Rosenstein. We spoke for awhile and set up an appointment. When I arrived at the Dealership I had to wait for David but it was worth it. David spent time going over the cars he had in stock as well as going over the option of ordering the car I was looking for. We were able to find what I was looking for in the inventory and to make a long story short I am enjoying driving that car now.I would recommend BMW of Bayside and David to my friends and family.

I wasn't really sure what to expect especially because I am not that great with paperwork and bureaucratic business. I have to say that the staff at BMW Bayside made the process very smooth. They treated me very well, answered all of my questions and made life a lot easier for me. I went to this dealership because I saw a newspaper ad with an attractive deal. I checked the dealer's inventory online, and then placed an online inquiry, which David Rosenstein answered. He called to make an appointment and was waiting for us when we arrived. He immediately understood what we wanted and helped us make a deal we were happy with. He was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and very positive. He and the rest of the staff worked hard to get the deal done, and the car was mine in one day. A few months earlier, I had had a negative experience with another salesperson at this same dealership, so I was not at all certain I wanted to go back, but David completely eradicated that bad experience, I'm happy to say. After dealing with their sales rep Dominick D. and the manager Charlie, I now understand why my friend sent me there. They know their cars, they know the market, they are incredibly knowledgable about all aspects of the vehicles, packages, options etc., and really helped me zero in on my needs for a vehicle. They even worked hard to find the color I wanted with all the right options! They didn't try to over-sell me on something I didn't need, understood what my finances are and really made me feel like I was important to them. And on top of it, they were really NICE GUYS! Although I have not bought the vehicle I want yet (you know, gotta check with the wife first as usual)I should be running back there any day with her to get my new ride. I can't wait. When my wife needs a new ride, I know where I'm going first!

During the summer I decided I wanted a new 650 Convertible. No one on long island had what I was looking for. When I ventured into Queens I stumbled upon bmw of bayside and found the car of my dreams. It was a smooth easy transaction. Paperwork, approved, drove away with the car. It is now 5 months later, and I just ordered a 2010 X5 4.8...Again a smooth transaction. Everything always goes smooth, no problems, no headaches. This time I have to wait for it to be ordered but it is surely worth the wait. I think everyone at this dealership is very professional, not to mention down to earth. When you walk in the door everyone is treated with the same respect whether your buying a 3 series or a 7. The biggest plus, there is no HASSEL. You want the car fine, if you don't or its not in your budget no biggie. They don't harass you to buy like other dealerships. The biggest piece of mine, knowing that you wont be pressured into anything. Will continue to do business with in the future. =) keep up the good work and I impatiently (I mean patiently) await my new addition.

I would highly recommend this dealership because of their quality of service. The way they handle their business and customers is very professional and is aimed at customer satisfaction. However, price was decent, but it was also very firm, hence the reason for the 3/5 "(OK)" Rating for "Price". The quantity and quality of information provided was good, as well. I live very close to another BMW dealer, and about 25 miles from Bayside. After coming very close to a deal near my home, I had second thoughts because items appeared on my purchase order that had not previously been discussed, and I could not get straight-forward answers to what I thought were simple questions about those items. I next tried Bayside. The difference was remarkable. Chi answered every question directly, and promptly. Bayside's price was a bit better, but not so much so that I necessarily would have completed the deal with them but for the difference in the way I felt I was being treated. I do not have the car yet, but so far this is the best car buying experience I have had (and I have had many).

I leased a BMW three years ago and my experience was ok, it just seemed more of a hassle than it had to be. I went back because my lease was up and just found the whole place cleaner, more organized and the people more friendly and welcoming. Sean Parks was my sales person this time, the last one was gone. And Sean made it fun buying a car, like it should be. He took care of everything and made the whole transaction easy. I shopped Rallye and Baysides prices were just as good. Rallye is like a meat processing machine, impressive facility but very impersonal. Took delivery of a new X-5 and am loving it.

I simply had an excellent experience with this BMW dealership, and with David Rosenstein, Director of Business Development in particular.The dealership has a great inventory of new and certified pre-owned cars. David listened to what I was looking for and walked me through the current inventory, focusing on the BMWs which fitted in with what I was looking for. At the conclusion of my first visit to Bayside BMW, I walked out with a great deal on a great BMW. The price in my view was close to unbeatable. The environment at the dealership is very professional, attentative and un-pressured. I had a much better experience at Bayside than I did at BMW of Manhattan a few years ago, and David had a lot to do with that.I highly recommend David Rosenstein to anyone looking to buy a new BMW in the New York/New Jersey area. The short drive is well worth the experience.

I'm still another 3-5 weeks away from making a decision but I will be stopping by BMW Bayside after concluding my online research. I just saw the owner's ad in Newsday about "new management" and the pending arrival of their new service facilty in 2010 with a "new attitude". Considering all the prior (negative) reviews on this blog I'm keeping my fingers crossed, however, this "new attitude" seems to have taken hold already within.

I contacted Bayside to inquire about a CPO BMW X5 on their lot. I was planning to register the vehicle out of state so I also asked them about how the out of state registration process would work. The "Client Advisor" who responded to my email inquiry was very rude and short in her response. There was no introduction to her email, no introduction to the dealership, no information about the vehicle, no information about the out of state registration process, only these 8 words "That offer is not in the ball park" (granted ballpark is actually one word so she chose to stretch the response to 8 words with poor grammar). After this deplorable customer experience, I conducted a search on Bayside and was not surprised to find so many other horrible reviews of this dealership. I sent 2 emails to the Sales Manager listed on their website and did not receive any response. This dealership is horrible and they are an absolute detriment to the BMW brand. STAY AWAY from this dealership, they have no concept of customer service. Read the other reviews on this site and on other blogs on the web. I hope BMW NA strips them of their dealership privileges.

Absolutely do not go to this dealership!!! I bought a 2004 CPO'd M3. This is my dream car and i've waited years to be able to afford one. I asked several times if it was ever in an accident or had paint work and was told no as they read through the service history with me. After purchasing it things started going haywire..electrical problems, no headlights, tail lights, convertible top not working, door not working. Took it to a local BMW shop and they give me the "real" vehicle history report from the BMW database called the DCS report. They try their best not to give you a copy but I had a friend at the local BMW shop. This car had been in an accident and BMW of Bayside lied to me about it, it reported it in the first line of the DCS report. Because of the accident none of the repair work so far (3 trips to BMW of New London, great BMW dealer and $1,000 later) is covered under warranty because it is a result of the previous accident as it was not properly repaired the first time. BMW of Bayside has made no attempt to help me whatsoever and states that BMW North America stands by their warranty and there is nothing they can do for me. Well BMWNA does not stand by your piece of crap warranty because they have yet to cover a bill!! They are hearing from my lawyer next. Buyer beware!!!

They lied about the car I purchased, verbally and in their ad, stated that it had leather, however it was actually leatherette! When I took the car back the only thing they were willing to do was void the sale and actually disrespected my wife, saying they couldn't do anything for her that would make her happy. Well obviously, someone who purchases something for the price of leather and receives fake leather won't be happy. They were generally rude, did not apologize for the mistake, and instead tried selling me more expensive cars and not willing to do anything about their mistake. They suck!

Never buy a BMW from this Dealer. The sales team lies about what is on the car to make a sale. The Dealership Manager makes no effort to satisfy a unhappy customer.I-Drive Navigation is a joke. Portable GPS units are so much better with touch screen, portable units can find the nearest home depot quickly, not BMW. Lexus is far superior.

No, NO, NO!!!!Never go to this dealer for service.You have to wait at leat 3 weeks for appointment.When you arrive on the appointment time, Do not be surprise you have to wait on your car for all in the mornning to just get in to their parking lot.Women answer the phone are rude and when you complain about service they just put you on hold for 30 minutes and another person answer the phone and you have to explain all over again.

Now that I have finally given back my BMW lease at BAYSIDE, I feel that I can give my exit speech. About a year ago I came in to fix a mirror that was accidently knocked off. An unfortunate situation but never the less something I had to get fix.To make a very long story short.....I bought a mirror from them but it needed to be painted. So I had to wait a couple of days for them to do that. After a few days I called in to see if it was ready. Tony the service manager picked up and told me it was ready....therefore I came by to have it installed. When I got there the mirror wasn't ready and they overcharged me for the time worked to install the mirror. They said it took 2 hours when it really took 35 mins or so I know because I watched them and asked the service tech.....but they did make me wait there an additional 2 hour before the mirror actually arrived. At 105 dollars an hour the difference between being charged 2 hours and 1 is double....very simple math. I confronted Pat the service advisor about it and he stated he would only charge me 1 hour if it took less than an hour....so I was fine with that. When they finally finished my car the Service Manger Tony gives me a bill of 210 dollars. When contronted about the extra time...Tony stated thats what they charge and if they fix it faster then the technician gets a bonus. Outraged and furious I told him that was crazy.....his response, he pulled me into his office and basically threatened me. He lifts the phone and says "PAY OR I TAKE OFF NOW." I was outraged and stated I can't believe i'm getting ripped off like this. This is BMW. Given no choice I said i would pay but that not to worry i was to file a complaint. HE DIDN"T CARE! On top of that, Pat the service advisor was also invited in and told Tony that he never said he would only charge me an hour which was a tota LIE! I wrote letters to the BMW bayside manager, corporate complaint department and phoned in my HORRIBLE experience at the service dept. TO THIS DAY I have never received an apology nor any response to my complaint. BMW SUX! I LOVED my BMW....great car...but will never buy one again...at least not from BAYSIDE. TO THIS DAY I HATE BMW BAYSIDE!

Not only is their service advisor Alberto, unprofessional and straight out rude, but also lacks honesty and customer-service know-how. With the exception of BMW Baysideas very courteous and helpful secretaries (Pauline and Diane), BMW Bayside's service department's service advisors and technicians are HORRIBLE! I've been going to BMW Bayside Service station for almost 5 years, and I can honestly say that year after year, their customer service and straight out BS has become unbearable! Thank you BMW Bayside, for making my BMW experience one that I will never forget. You just lost a customer who spent over $60K on a car from YOU! One would think that they would at least treat their own customers with honesty, integrity and friendliness. These service representatives all look miserable -- and in turn make their customers feel miserable as well!Not only do they try to extort extra money from you on everything they do, but they also misdiagnose the aoeproblemsa and end up over-charging you for items that were either never replaced or do not need replacing in the first place! They even tried to charge me again on an item that THEY replaced for me less than 6 months ago, and should have been covered by their standard 12-months parts warranty. Is it my fault that they canat install their own parts properly? Of course not! But if I didnat raise the point that Iave already paid over $1,000 to get this part replaced 5 A months ago, they would have billed me again! Lazy, shady, or incompetent? You be the judge, but I say that itas a combination of all three!! Another funny thing is that BMW Bayside controls who they issue a aoecustomer satisfaction survey toa. In the rare instance that they somehow manage to complete a job on time, and not need to lie to the customer about some other aoeproblema, they then decide to send that customer a aoesatisfaction surveya and they urge (pretty much beg) them to provide satisfactory feedback. But, as Iam sure many irate BMW Bayside customers can attest, if youave had a poor experience with them, you will not be receiving a survey! Coincidence? Not at all! Their service advisors always manage to aoemisplacea or overlook your service appointment so that BMWNA never gets to see send you a questionnaire. SIMPLY PUT SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES!!! I plan on raising these concerns to BMW North America, as I have in the past, but unfortunately this likely wonat accomplish anything because Iam just one single compliant. Therefore, I urge all unhappy customers to step forward and voice their complaints with this unscrupulous dealership! Contact BMW North America and tell them exactly what is going on here! We need to put an end to these bad business practices!I truly hope that somebody at BMWas corporate offices sees this posting and takes some form of action! The customer experience at BMW of Bayside continues to be very disappointing. The service department is seriously understaffed and unable to keep up with repair orders. In review of the past few years, my car has never been ready on time for pick-up and often has required follow-up appointments to address repairs. Despite dropping my car off at 7:30am, I often find myself in the waiting area until 7pm for service to be completed. Further, on several occasions the service staff had to be summoned to address unfinished or shoddy work at time of automobile pick-up, i.e., warning lights that continued to appear, new inspection sticker placed over old half removed sticker, car released with damaged and dangerously under inflated tires, unwashed car, etc. Most disappointing are the billing tactics employed by the service staff. In addition to inflated repair charges, customers are billed $100+ for routine troubleshooting - even if the mechanic spends only a few minutes diagnosing the particular problem. Note the $100+ diagnostic charge above is passed on to the customer in addition to all charges associated with the repair - double jeopardy? When questioned, the staff has responded very unprofessionally and with disdain. It seems the service staff's interests are not properly aligned with that of BMW's customers. Instead, the staff seems to be incented to maximize billings and customer service is secondary. I would recommend a review of this dealership's service practices and a forensic accounting of its books for reasonability/legality. I've witnessed too many customers leaving this dealership both deeply disappointed with service levels (including staff arrogance) and shocked by outrageous invoices.

Took my X5 in to check a squeaking noise from back, diagnosed with $2600 worth of service, brought the car in, it took them 2 weeks to fix and by the time they were done, the bill was $4,200. When I went to pick up the car, it wasn't even washed. "We dont' wash cars on Saturdays" "But the car was in for three weeks?!" And then we found a brand new scratch on bumper with white paint mark. Tony the Manager cleaned up the paint mark with some spray and when I asked him how he was going to fix the scratch, he said he'd check with his insurance company to see if they'll pay for it and then I should make an appointment. I told him I'd leave the car there and he can fix it while i am on business trip next week, he said, "don't try and use our shop as a parking lot."Based on the review here, I guess they'll soon need to go out of business. I am calling BMWNA on Monday.

Man oh man I am sick of BMW of Bayside. I made an appointment three weeks ago for service so I could get a loaner. Even called yesterday to confirm that I would have a BMW loaner waiting. Got there this morning and, of course, no BMW loaners are available. To make matters worse, I had to wait 40 minutes for an Enterprise rental car to show up - a dirty Ford Taurus with less than an eighth of a tank of gas. Beklieve me, I did not pay $45k to drive a dirty Ford Taurus. This is the fifth time I've needed a loaner (WAY TOO many stupid problems with this car by the way) and the fourth time I've had an Enterprise piece of CR*P. The dealer sold me on the BMW loaner service and it is complete BS. Impossible to get an apointment, they only complete half the job, and the advisors are nasty on the phone. Last car I'm buying with BMW of Bayside. Hope I get a satisfaction study call this time!

when researching the 5 series i visited bmw bayside 4 times...out of those 4 times, 3 times i was COMPLETELY ignored by the sales staff. the one time dealing with dominick was VERY frustrating and i just had to walk out. after spending 15 minutes talking about the car he quoted my just 500 off MSRP, when i told him that if gave me 2000 off MSRP i would buy the car right then and there he just laughed and said "there is NO WAY i will be able to get that car at that price". well guess what, 3 other dealers that i visited all gave me $2K off, AND MORE!!!!! do yourself a favor and go to BMW manhattan, they are nice, fair and have MUCH BETTER pricing than bmw bayside.

Received letter from BMW of Bayside stating that I had been selected to participate in an event in which they were offering "exceptional deals" on the repurchase of certain pre-owned certified BMW vehicles. Their goal, which I understood, was to trade customers up from their old to new BMW vehicles. I did research on the book value of my BMW (approx $23K). <br><br>When I visited, Arthur he told me he would give me $16K for my car. I was shocked and told him that this was completely below market. I even offered to look up with him any objective price guide (e.g., wholesale price on Kelly Blue Book) to prove how much of a joke his offer was. He obnoxiously waved me off, telling me I "didn't understand" dealer trade-in pricing, and basically told me he was going by "the book" pricing which he did not show me. <br><br>Anyway, I wound up at Wide World of BMW in Spring Valley, NY. They were honest and fair, and gave me $22K on my car toward a trade-in, plus very fair pricing on a new car. I will never deal with Bayside again.

I was looking for a 3 series and was being dealt with by this middle aged lady with brown hair. We were discussing pre-owned and new coupes. She claims she has found me this great deal on a "new" 325ci with all the options I want. As I am discussing the downpayment I re-read the statement she has given me. Turns out it was a pre-owned car. All I got as a response was "oh...oops".

Visited the dealship to purchase X5, dealt with Mich Klein. I ordered the car and came back to meet him several times, he was always late , several times i had to wait while he tried to sale some new customer. He was not professional, and i eventually canceled the purchase and bought my X5 from another dealer. Would not recommend this dearlship to any one!

i went there to have my bottom engine cover looked at since i run into black ice after the snow and it cracked it. I asked the guy to quickly look and see. he wouldnt and instead setup an appointment for next month. he said the initial charge is $50.00 and so i said fine. i couldn't believe this, so i went inside the parts department and ask the people there. one guy told me how easy it is to replace. so, he sold me the part and i installed it myself. <br><br>stay away from the white guy who has a mustasch, he doesnt know WTF he is talking about. If anything, make sure you deal with the ASIAN lady, at least she was very knowledgable and nice.

Walked into the dealership, was initially offered if I needed a salesperson. I said no, I was just looking. I was looking to buy a 5 series. <br><br>Finally when I needed a salesperson, staff was friendly and got me a salesguy. Guy doesn't deal & likes to play mind games. Doesn't like to give me a price other than MSRP. Salesguy was very arrogant like he can sell a BMW within a week. This was quickly going no where, so I left. Four dealership later, I finally bought my 540 in New Jersey. <br><br>
