Many thanks to Wes Miller in the Service Department for excellent service. I was on my way to Vacation in Florida when my engine service light came on and said I was low on oil and needed to add it promptly. Luckily, I was entering Chattanooga and remembered there was a dealership. We pulled into the service bay and Mr. Miller had me on my way within 10 minutes! He saved me valuable vacation time and anguish had I gone elsewhere.

Im contacting Service Manager if no response Ill review. I think it Buy somewhere else. They are great at getting you in the car and that payment going. After that you will be fighting for warranty work. They need to remember that sticker price. I buy a 65k car I expect BMW to stand behind their product. They act like you bought a used Dodge neon or something.

Aaron Gentry was very knowledgeable and patient in explaining the operational features of my new BMW X3. He did not put me in mental overload and I was able to start my car, set my navigation, and leave the dealership with my car safely in tow. Never!! ever!! buy a extended warranty from these people!! they lie!! even though the contract states very clearly what the in-service date is!! they will do nothing about the warranty, and tell you it does not apply!!the warranty's are worthless!!! they wont tell you that if you buy a extended warranty on a used car that it will go by the date the car was bought before you!! even though you have no clue when the car was bought or what date that would be, because you think based off of the in service date that they placed in the Box is the date that the warranty will start. .NOPE!!! they will lie and say oh that's not correct!!

Last month I inquired about a sticky steering issue with a 2003 Z4, which after doing some researchfound that several of these vehicles had that same problem and , and even after I contacted BMW North America was informed that there was nothing in the plans to help with this problem. After taking the vehicle to this dealership, and it was determined it would need a complete steering column replaced, and the dealer price was $5,500,00, I told them there was no way that I would invest that in a 13 year old vehicle. The service Manager contacted their BMW Rep. and through his effort after it was said and done it cost me approximate $1,900.00. I think they treated me very fair.

What Can I say. This was one of the best car buying experience that I have had and it was mostly to Jonathan Allers. He was very professional, friendly and non condescending. Most of all , he listened to what I wanted and he got it for me.I also got a good vibe from all the other employees and I hope to buy from the dealership again in two years.I drove from Atlanta to get the deal I wanted and they determined that it was a good deal for all involved and accepted it without making it a miserable experience.

I gave this dealership $500 in good faith to hold a car based on a website ad until I could travel 90 miles to view the car in person. Upon viewing the vehicle, I discovered they had substantially misrepresented the car and its options in the website ad. When confronted about the incorrect information, the dealership promised to refund this deposit to make good. Unfortunately this hasn't occurred after 3 weeks. They also sold the car to someone else a few days later while still retaining my deposit. After much back and forth I was contacted by the dealer yesterday whereby they issued the refund while I was on the phone. If the refund posts to my card soon then we should be good.

This is my first BMW. I bought a 2014 BMW 428i. The car speaks for itself but the customer service was above and beyond what I could have ever imagined. Starting with Cody Bowman going above and beyond helping answer all my questions and explaining in detail what to expect from not only owning a BMW but the level of quality and detail involved in the customer service experience. Making my way to Sam Gilbreath whom talked me into the Tire and Wheel Package ( I hope I don't have to use it but I will personally thank him if I do.) Christine Dumas has helped me twice this year trade BMW's for other brands (Honda Pilot & Lexus RX350). She is great to work with and help you find the right vehicle for your needs! I greatly recommend her as a sales person! Also a great finance department! Thanks to Leslie, Cooper, Sam, & David for their assistance over the years.Purchased my first BMW in 2010 and told the finance person back then that when I can't trust a service department I will no longer drive their vehicle. Well in 2016 I traded a X5 & 528xi for other brands. There is no consistency with their service department!!! There are only two sales people still at this dealership from when I started dealing with them from 2010 and Christine is one of them.

I had a major service completed 6 weeks previously and noticed in my garage that there was oil drips all under my vehicle. I went back to the dealer and the oil filter gasket was messed up which was just installed on my service. So they replaced the gasket and sent me on my way. Probably installed incorrectly the first time, I'm not sure but it was leaking. The very next day my oil light came on and I had to go back to the dealer. Turns out it was low of oil and oil had to be added to correct the warning on the dash. So evidently when they replaced the oil filter gasket they didn't put any oil back in the engine and/or failed to check for the correct level or I wouldn't have had to make a third trip back to the dealership. In this series of service I find that they were lacking in providing quality service. However my past experience which is lengthy has been much better. I will see next time if service improves.

Took my BMW to this service center because they are supposed to be a BMW service facility. First it was the key, Was told the key worked and could pick up car next morning . Next morning - no the key didn't work (never did) . They are checking on it. Later that day it is the module . Today no not module , say it will be 3000$ MORE to fix. Everything I was told today completely contradicts what I was told last week. I could have guessed at what was wrong with this car myself . I wish I had read some of theses reviews before I had taken my car there. I can't afford to keep paying for guesses at what is wrong with this car. Guess I will be buying another car - definitely won't be another BMW. No way to actually get the car fixed with out going through a few thousand dollars of guesswork.

I have bought several new and several used cars. Buying from BMW of Chattanooga has been the smoothest and most enjoyable experience so far. The hospitality from the staff and knowledge of the vehicle was impressive. I initially went to take a look at the pre-owned 2012 GMC Sierra 1500 on my lunch break which left me short on time from the beginning. During just 25 minutes with my salesmen, Cody Bowman, we were able to take a test drive, appraise my trade-in, and get all of the background on the truck. By the end of the day, I was driving it off of the lot. My finance guy, Sam, was also very helpful in explaining all of the warranty and protection plans that were offered. He also went in depth about my monthly payment and financing options. we were able to get a great interest rate with my current bank which made everything so easy! I was hesitant to buy another BMW in Chattanooga because my past experiences with the service department was a nightmare. However, I found an X3 that was an incredible deal, and I had to check it out. Christine Dumas was my sales rep, and when my husband and I arrived at the dealership to test drive the X3, it was front and center, ready to go, with my name on it! Christine and BMW set the standards from the moment I arrived. The test drive was comfortable and not rushed. Once we returned to the dealership, there was no pressure to buy the car- just some simple conversations about trade-ins, finance rates, etc- never was there ANY pressure. Once my husband and I decided to purchase the X3, the buying process was fast and easy! Within an hour, I was driving home in my new car.I did express my concerns about my negative past experiences to Christine, and she explained that there is a new service director, BUT, when I need service for my X3, just call or text her, and she will arrange it for me. I felt confident enough to trust Christine to buy another BMW in Chattanooga! I am extremely happy with my purchase, and would highly recommend buying from BMW of Chattanooga- just ask for Christine :)

I would not recommend this dealership to anyone if you're interested in a used car. We had to wait about 20 minutes for someone to simply unlock a car on their lot. The person they did send was not a salesman and knew nothing about the car itself. When we took this car for a test drive this individual couldn't answer basic questions about the car but he did say "if you were interested in a new BMW I'd be able to help you."When we decided to look at purchasing the car our assigned salesman was not personable or friendly at all. We felt like we were inconveniencing him or something. It's weird to be treated like you're annoying someone when they work in the service industry. The salesman (also) did not know anything about the car itself either. Additionally and at a very minimum, dealerships should offer coffee or water to customers who spend hours at your dealership completing automobile purchase paperwork (neither was available or offered).While we ended up purchasing the used car from them we would not recommend as we had an overall unfriendly car buying experience. We chose to purchase the car solely because they had very competitive pricing for this model. We've had very positive interactions with other dealerships in the past and expected a much higher level of service from a BMW dealership.Lastly, the day after we purchased the car the maintenance light came on (surprise surprise). Turns out all 4 tires were under-inflated to a dangerous degree (all 4 tires were at 26/27 psi when they were supposed to be at 35 psi). Luckily the car had tire inflation sensors so we were aware that the car we were just sold had dangerously under-inflated tires.

Jonathan Allers was great to work with. He was patient and informative. We were interested in purchasing a used BMW after a large tree branch fell on our 15 year old car, smashing it. Nothing else online could compare with the prices and quality that BMW of Chattanooga had to offer. After we bought the car, the next day we realized that the back passenger window would not roll up. We called the dealership and they got our car right in that morning and fixed it for free. The door ended up needing a new motor for the window, so it was extremely courteous for BMW of Chattanooga to replace it free of charge. Really great service all the way around!

This was third car purchased from BMW Chattanooga. The used Infinity was just the ticket but on test drive the brakes squeaked. I was told it was rust. When it came time to make purchase I again asked for brakes to be checked. Car was driven to "Master Mechanic" for inspection. He informed that brakes were fine with plenty of life. I then purchased car. After purchased I drove and had tires balanced due to a tire wobble. Upon getting tires balanced, I was informed that brakes were dangerously close to worn out at 2 millimeters. I replaced brakes at $328. As you can understand, I felt that dealership was not honest in their approach.

Having had a recently expired warranty it was crucial that we be able to take advantage of BMW "pull ahead" program incentive. With four active children and a family business to run, I did not have time pound the pavements in search of the best offer going. It was 5pm on a Friday and I was on route to my local dealer. Moreover, I was feeling unimpressed by the deal I was being offered on 535iGT. A red light gave me pause and I pulled over an opened my Cars.com app. I called the dealership presenting the lowest priced 535iGT in the country. In less that 5 minutes I was on the phone with Leslie at BMW of Chattanooga. Leslie not only took my phone call seriously, she presented a great offer in no time at all. Both Leslie and Christine BMW Chatanooga followed up the next day, formalized the final details, arranged the shipping of our new 535IGT car from Chattanooga to South Florida, and scheduled the surrender of my current lease to my local dealer. I bought a used Honda off their lot about a month ago. Unfortunately, when I got ready to get into the car, the salesman, Andy Wise, handed me a broken key to the vehicle. I was not told the key was broken when I purchased it and I felt if very underhanded that it was not disclosed when I was purchasing it. When I got home, I went to the Honda dealer and discovered the key would cost $175 to replace. I phoned the manager, Ryan Zeigler, and he said he would check with the Honda dealership he dealt with and get back to me. A couple of days later I still had not heard from him and I realized that the air conditioner was not working! I immediately phoned and got Ryan's voice mail. I told him that the internet sales person, Tequila Hill, had assured me that the air worked and it was not working. I did not get a return call from him. I then called Ryans boss, John Mclarty and action was immediately taken. He had his head of service, Kevin the Service Manger...(I am so very sorry I cannot recall your last name Kevin). Kevin called within a couple of hours and asked when I would like to bring in the car. Since I live in Middle Tennessee about 100 miles from there, it was not as simple as just hopping on over there. I told him I was leaving on a trip to Missouri and could not make it until the following week. He gave me his personal cell phone number and told me to call when I could make it in. I finally made it in and Kevin was wonderful! He found that the compressor was bad and that it would take a while to get it fixed as well as a key made. He got me a rental car to drive home for the evening and had my car fixed perfectly by the next morning. He not only fixed it, got me a new key, but inspected it again and discovered the front brake pads were pretty worn so he replaced those too and he even filled up my tank with gas before I drove it home! All free of charge. I was treated so kindly and respectfully by Kevin and his service team! Kevin turned out to be my guardian angle! My bad ordeal turned out to be wonderful except for the long drive two days in a row. Kevin is spectacular and I would recommend his services to anyone who needed them. He is outstanding. My hats off to my guardian angel!

Cooper called me and asked if I was able to come in and told me he could get me approved by the bank and get me in the car I was dying to have. Overall experience was positive and salesperson was friendly and helpful. Only downside was that when i got the vehicle home, i noticed that neither front blinkers were functional. Also discovered that radiator fluid level in back-up section was empty. Minor problems and i fixed personally for under $50 but these things should have been spotted in inspection process.

Traded for a 2008 535i with 60,000 miles..Was told that the car was certified pre-owned and it wasn't.. Didn't know until after the purchase.. The car was poorly detailed and had a wheel bearing out.. The would fix the car and didn't acknowledged you existed.. Tried calling and leaving messages but no return call or nothing.. The whole team at BMW of Chattanooga was great to work with. Chasity Owen answered our questions during our initial inquiry and followed up with us later to see if she could help in any other way. Jonathan Allers did a great job of working with us during the whole process of purchasing the car, which was complicated by the fact that I wanted a specific car from a dealership in northern California. He oversaw the entire process of the purchase, from securing the car from the dealership in California through transportation of the car to Chattanooga, taking time to answer several questions along the way. He even called the dealership and talked to a sales person there to ask them to physically inspect the car themselves to make sure that the car was in as good a shape as it seemed to be and it was! The last person I dealt with at BMW of Chattanooga was the Business Manager, Leslie Williams. She was outstanding as well. She was not the typical high pressure closer who tries to up-sell you on warranties, etc. that you dont want. She simply presented some options and listened as I talked through what I wanted. She was very knowledgeable without being pushy, and I left there with confidence knowing I had made some good decisions concerning my vehicle. It was the complete opposite of how I have felt in the past when I left other dealerships feeling like I had paid for things I didnt need. It was just a great experience all the way around.

I had to get to another appointment this afternoon at 1:00 pm and explained to Nick what I had going on. He said he would make that happen and he did... I know Nick is just one piece of the Team at Chatt. BMW and I really thank the entire team. I noticed a couple of changes this trip to the waiting area 1. Very clean, 2. Coffee was very fresh. 3. Donuts for folks that do not have time to stop for Breakfast. I think that Kevin Frazier,the new Service Manager) is doing a great job. After driving our 2014 751i x-drive BMW only 1950 miles in a year, the annual service was performed. While it was anticipated to take only about an hour to perform this service, it actually took 3 days to also repair wheel burrs that I advised him had occured a year earlier upon delivery. I was given a rental pickup truck to drive since they did not have any BMW loaners left for this unanticipated loaner need and the dealer did not provide courtesy van service to my home on Signal Mountain, which is about 30 minutes from the dealer. The annual service was performed and the car was washed in two days but the wheel burrs would need to wait another day and be performed at my home. Upon my return to pick up the BMW I spoke with the service manger and he advised me that he had changed their courtesy van approved routes and Signal Mountain was now a location that would be serviced by BMW of Chattanooga. The service manage also had the wheel burrs repaired at no cost to me. We purchased this BMW at this dealer and their customer service was excellent.

After literally walking into dealerships where I couldn't get anyone's attention and experience being lied to about car availability and pricing, working with Christine and team was an incredibly refreshing and dare I say enjoyable experience. The car was priced incredibly competitively and was in pristine condition when it arrived in my driveway. Jonathan in the finance department was also a dream to work with, as he took the time to explain all the facets of the paper work and sent everything over quickly and efficiently. After I noticed a mistake in the paperwork, he called me after hours on a Friday to make let me know that everything was corrected and taken care of for me. Overall this was an excellent car buying experience and I will certainly recommend these folks to all of my friends, since completing a transaction for someone living in another state didn't seem to be a problem at all for the BMW of Chattanooga team.

I scheduled the replacement of a cup holder on my 2011 328i for Sept. 17, 2014 (my first BMW and my first visit for service). Nick checked the car's maintenance history and informed me that a recall was active for the car as well. My car was taken into the shop at the scheduled time and the cup holder was replaced very quickly. The other maintenance required up to four hours. Since their shop was completely full and other cars were cycled through the whole day, this took a little longer than initially estimated. Which was completely understandable. I like their complete maintenance history system; especially since I had purchased this car used only two months prior and had little knowledge of it's history. I know now that my car was maintained by this dealership since it's initial purchase. This information, coupled with the mechanic's (Everett) report to me concerning the good condition of my car, left me with a more knowledgeable and comfortable understanding of my "new" BMW. While there this visit, as well as prior visits, I'm left with good feelings about this dealership; from their large, clean, customer oriented facility to the sincere friendliness and concern of all of the employees I've met so far in every department..

only issue i had was when i spoke to the sales person before i came i told her i wanted a note under 250 a month instead my car payment is $330 a month which is the highest limit for me. i needed a car and thats the only issue i had is i didnt expect nor want a high payment every month. other than that i love the car.....

I issued negative responses but the dealership had a car that suited all my wants.Well I am glad I did . Even though I was not buying a BMW I was treated as thou I was. From Jonathan our salesperson to the lady who heads your finance department I was given nothing but the royal treatment. I could go on forever my will try not to ramble on. Price negotiation on the trade in value was painless and transaction was smooth. Will shop here again if there is another good deal available.I find some reviews here funny to read. First of all, set your expectations correctly. When you get a used car, EXPECT to see problems whether it's CPOed or not. Without a problem, the previous owner has little reason to dump it. Don't tell me the lease returns.because they always have options to buy back the car at lease end at a big discount. Second, price is king. I spent 34k on a 2012 CPO car with sticker price equal to 62k, and I'm happy with it although it has some small issues. If you want no trouble, get a new car. If you cannot afford it, get a used one if the price is right, and deal with the potential problems on your own. The CPO technicians have little incentive to fully examine these cars in every detail. It's YOUR responsibility because it's YOUR car. If it takes you 3 hours to drive to the nearest BMW dealership, you probably shouldn't get a BMW in the first place, new or used. My dealer is 1.5 miles from my home and if I move to a new home closer to a Mercedes dealer, I may switch to Mercedes.

Took over a month to get title application so I could get a tag on the car. Probably wouldn't have it now if I hadn't called and complained. They also collected more tax than they sent to the courthouse when I went to get tag. This caused me to pay additional money out of pocket. Either a mistake or they're just crooks

I recently purchased a 1998 Z3 over the internet from a seller in Chicago, IL. I had the car shipped from Chicago to my home in Rome, GA. The next day (Thursday) I drove the car to the BMW dealership in Chattanooga to order a spare key since the car was delivered with only 1 key. I presented the Illinois title signed by the seller along with a bill of sale from the seller to me (buyer) also signed by the seller. The parts person said I needed a title in my name. I asked to see the parts manager. He came out and I showed him the documents. He also refused to order a key for me. Even though I have leased two BMWs and purchased one used BMW from them in the past and have had my current 04 530i and 95 M3 repaired and serviced there, I left in a huff and drove back to Rome. On Friday, I drove from my home in Rome to Marietta, GA and visited the parts department of Global Imports BMW. I requested to order a spare key. I showed them the same documentation that BMW of Chattanooga had refused to accept. They made copies of the title, bill of sale, and my GA drivers license and ordered a spare key for me. They were very courteous and professional at all times. This was the first time I had ever been in their dealership. So based on the different levels of service I received at the two locations, and the fact that driving from Rome, GA to Marietta, GA is about the same distance as driving to Chattanooga, TN I will be using Global Imports for any service or repairs required on any of my three BMWs in the future.

I've never experienced such poor service from any service department, much less a BMW dealership. We debated between sending the car to Chattanooga or Nashville for repairs. We chose Chattanooga for its proximity. I've already heard from Nashville twice (just checking in!). Chattanooga on the other hand has gone out of the way to be unresponsive. She claims to have not received several faxes and emails from the Richmond dealership re: warranty work. Richmond has tried calling and she dodges their phone calls as well. Turns out they hadn't even started to repair the car! Do yourself a favor and skip this dealer.

I had a great experience at BMW of Chattanooga. I litteraly had a day to decide on and purchase a car before heading out on a month long trip. David Goforth did a wonderful job showing me what was available on the lot and helping me decide if I wanted an SUV or a convertable. I ended up with a great convertable that I love that people stop me on the street telling me what a great looking car I have. Working with Client Advisor Jonathan Allers was a satisfying and all-around positive experience. My wife and I met Jonathan at the BMW of Chattanooga dealership and got down to the business of discussing, test-driving, and then deciding to buy a 2011 BMW 328i sedan. We had done our homework by reviewing the initial quote he had e-mailed. So, when we met with him (and after much prior research on-line), we pretty much knew where the market price-point was and were not surprised that the dealership could not negotiate any lower on an already fair price. We figured we had made a decent deal that included a $300 discount offered by the General Manager, John Mclarty.With Jonathan's energy and good sense of humor, and with the expertise of Financial Manager Jonathan Lickliter, we had a very favorable opinion of the dealership by the time we drove off in our "new" BMW. There was a definite sense of team-pride conveyed by the dealership staff (to whom we were introduced), and in no way did we feel pressured to do anything of which we were uncomfortable. The facility is large and strikingly quite modern and inviting. I wholeheartedly encourage potential buyers to ask for Jonathan Allers when visiting the dealership, on-line or in-person.

I have to say buying and closing was a excellent experience, but not when it came to getting the glove box fixed as it would not open. After ordering a new latch-lock it arrived . It was the wrong one. Paper work had to be re-copied and resent as it could not be found. I have not received any status up date. I have had to renew the temp tag as no regular tag has arrived. I have had this car about 6 weeks. Hope this can be settled soon. I do like the car.

Do not do business with these people. It is worth the drive to Atlanta to deal with Global or any other professional dealership. Our journey with BMW of Chattanooga began on Memorial Day weekend where we wasted half of Saturday only to receive a low ball trade offer. At this time we worked with Jonathan Lickliter. We received a phone call at the end of June from this dealership. They wanted to make a deal work as they needed numbers for the end of the 2nd quarter. We received an email from Cooper telling us our deal was approved. He called and informed us that we would need to pay double the money down that was discussed in conversations earlier that day. I explained to him that this was not going to happen. He then said we needed to find a car with fewer miles and referred us to Jonathan Allard. We found an Acura MDX that day; however, Allard informed us it was sold. This was not the case as he emailed us less than a week later asking if we were interested in the Acura. Before the Acura mysteriously became available again, Christine, another sales rep called us and worked out a deal on a Lexis that was located in Houston. Also on that same day, Saturday July 5, Jonathan Allard tells us the Acura is available due to credit issues with the person it was supposedly sold to. To save the shipping costs, it made more sense to buy the Acura then the Lexis. On July 7, emails were sent back and forth with Jonathan Allard telling us the deal was set to go and that I could come in around 4:30. I even confirmed with him at 2:30 whether I should come or not and the response I received was Absolutely. Upon arrival, I am confronted by Jonathan Lickliter who has now moved to the finance area. When I saw him coming up to me, I knew things were not going to go as planned as Lickliter is impossible to work with. After hearing his multiple excuses and back peddling about how everyone is out of the office and their sales staff has increased so not everyone is on the same page, I was completely frustrated. BMW of Chattanooga is full of miscommunication and false promises. I would encourage you to take your business elsewhere. This company does not deserve your business. I have purchased cars from Land Rover of Chattanooga, Long Mercedes and several other reputable dealerships in Chattanooga. Please utilize a dealership that respects customers and not BMW of Chattanooga.

I recently purchased a 1999 Honda Accord from this dealership. (Less than 2 weeks ago). I was assured that the car had been completely inspected by their mechanic, and because it was in excellent running condition, they had kept this trade on the lot for resale. The ticket price was $2481, however, after taxes, fees and etc. my total cost came in at $3500. Because I had already made the mistake of purchasing on craigslist and had ended up with a car for my daughter that had the check engine light disabled (I lost over $300 on that deal), I felt more confident purchasing from a reputable dealership. The car was purchased "as is", which is not uncommon with a used car purchase. In the last two weeks, my daughter has put less than 150 miles on the car, and while driving the check engine light came on, and the transmission began slipping. I contacted the dealership this weekend requesting a time to bring it in to have it checked. This was the response I received..."Good Morning,Im so sorry to hear that....... We always do a 124 point safety inspection and emission test. To save you a little bit of money I would take it first to a local mechanic if you have one and if not Economy Honda can diagnose the problem at their service center.. If she has put gas in it make sure she has the gas cap on tight that is alot of causes of the check engine light coming on."Are you kidding me? Being a local business owner, I will do everything in my power to ensure that EVERYONE is aware of the kind of dealership they are considering doing business with. We would have NEVER had this kind of experience with the Volvo dealership in Chattanooga where we have my husbands car maintained. Absolutely ridiculous. And I just threw away $3500. My advise...If a warranty is offered, PAY TOP dollar for it (which I am sure they will charge you). You are going to need it.

I had an exceptional experience at BMW of Chattanooga this past week. Aaron Gentry (client advisor) in particular made my experience much more comfortable than i ever expected. I am a long time BMW fan but I don't ever like the process of dealing with car sales people. I never gave the sense that i would buy necessarily (because it was true) but he never (not once) broke the line of pushing, leading, cajoling etc Instead, he allowed me to process... all the while being incredibly resourceful no over-statements, no smoke courteous and straight up.The rest of the staff were supportive in a similar way. We got a great deal from a great Client Adviser, Christine Dumas, on the BMW X3 that we wanted to purchase. This is our third new BMW and the second X3 so we knew what we were looking for. My wife and I are retired and live in Florida. We first tried local dealers and found them either overpriced or their inventory did not meet our needs. We then started searching the internet and fortunately, we found Christine who had the right car at the right price. There was no haggling over price as it was priced right to begin with. We were concerned about valuing our trade-in 600 miles away but a few emailed photos and it worked out very well. We were a little apprehensive about driving 600 miles with the possibility that they could totally reappraise our car upon our arrival. When we arrived the new car was very well presented, we were very cordially welcomed by Christine, and no one went over our trade-in with a microscope. The actual purchasing process was very professional with no surprises. Christine was very knowledgeable on the operation of the new BMW and explained its operation to us in detail. The bottom line is that we got the new car we wanted at a very good price and they were very fair with the price for our trade-in. Everything was handled in a very professional and enjoyable manner by both Christine and BMW of Chattanooga and I would highly recommend them.

This was my first visit to the Chattanooga BMW after moving from Northern Virginia. I called twice before being able to set up an appointment. Ronnie set up my appointment and explained what was needed for my warranty service. When I brought my vehicle in Ronnie was not available, but Andrea assisted me. She was very courteous and helpful. Sales staff was very knowledgeable of products and features. Randy was very willing to work with our schedule and timetables for vehicle purchase, and uniqueness of our deal as two cars were purchased at the same time. Only drawback with sales was for final deal closure, when a walk-in sale interrupted/delayed deal closure by over an hour. Financial services at the dealership had issues that had required resolution on-the-spot, or follow-up correction over several days. Dealership automatically selected higher interest rate (3.25%) and automatically enrolled loan into Gap insurance when only 60% of car cost being financed, and 2.99% interest available with no prior discussion or offers made to client. Also, on second car purchased, not all paperwork was included in deal package, which resulted in additional faxing/email, and vehicle registration paperwork not sent to applicable County until prompted by follow-up correspondence 20 days after the sale. Once the salesman was contacted over this matter, the registration issue was resolved in three business days. The financing attention to detail is the primary driver for the lesser scores on quality of work and overall experience.

Despite a shiny showroom, this is a very average, very typical car dealer in all of the negative ways that implies.Theyre simply out to maximize profit. Lowball trade-in. $600 processing fee the salesman admitted was simply dealer profit. Missing options on the car that were not disclosed at the time of the sale. Scare tactics from the business manager to upsell third-party extended warranty ("damaged wheels, run-flat tires, electronic module repair costs are very expensive" etc.).Overall a very disappointing experience. I expected far better from a BMW dealer.

He discussed the vehicle with my husband and me at length and then he turned us over to Ryan to make the ultimate deal. I was well treated by John when my car was brought in with a bad alternator I picked the car up on fri and again was very well treated by Andrea filling in for John. when I went to move my car to the rental car I discovered the [P]park button that you depress on the top of the gear selector was missing?? this is a item that gets used each time you use the car!! I went back into the service dept and asked andrea about what happened? I was told something like the person who cleaned the car lost it or it was broken. my first reaction to myself was why nobody told me? and was I going to get a replacement part? I was very pleased from the moment I called BMW of Chattanooga. My call was appropriately and curteously routed. Jeremy Goodwin in the service department treated me with the utmost professionalism and respect as I described the minor problems I was having with my 2007 BMW Z4. I drove in at my scheduled appointment time and asked to look at the new and preowned certified BMWs. I was considering a different vehicle due to high mileage on my current car and the need for more space for luggage when traveling. Jonathan Allers helped me without hesitance when I requested to take test drives in a couple of cars. He was very knowledgable about the cars and did not push me in any direction but instead listened to my wishes and desires in a vehicle if I chose to make a change in vehicle style. I ultimately decided a sedan would suit me better than my roadster at this stage of my life. Cooper Hopkins assisted me in choosing the appropriate extended warranty with both patience and high competence. Johnathan Allers was very kind, informative, and his friendliness without a hard-sell pressure was one of the reasons I bought my vehicle from BMW of Chattanooga. When I pointed out some minor flaws with the vehicle, Johnathan made sure they were repaired by the next day. The staff that handled the paperwork was very quick and efficient. The whole paperwork process took less than an hour and I was driving off the lot with my new (to me) vehicle with a great detailed job and a full tank of gas courtesy of the dealership. I couldn't have asked for a better buying experience. When it comes time for me to buy my next vehicle, I know I will be going back to BMW of Chattanooga. I bought a 2011 335d last month and my car has been in BMW of Nashville's service center since that time. The rear differential was bad, and so was the mass airflow meter (my check engine light came on 24 hrs after I bought the car). So I'm pretty unhappy, and wonder if my "pre-owned certified" BMW was ever actually inspected. Isn't BMW legally obligated to fully inspect the vehicle, in order to advertise it as "pre-owned certified"? I'm glad I bought a warranty--and that's pretty much the only reason I didn't return the car and ask for a refund. I'm greatly disappointed as a whole and I will certainly NOT be referring any business to this location. BMW of Nashville has been EXCELLENT in resolving this issue.

I would definitely recommend Randy Pugh and BMW of Chattanooga to anyone in the market for a new car. Randy went above and beyond when it came to the time and attention he gave us during the sales process. We went on multiple test drives, and he helped us select the best car for us. Randy and other staff stayed with us until after 11pm on a Saturday night to complete the sale, and did not make us feel rushed at all. If there was any question we threw at him that he was not 100% sure of the answer, he found out for us immediately. Everyone we dealt with at the dealership was "top notch". I went to the BMW dealership to look at a mini cooper that I had found online. I entered the dealership and was greeted by Gary and he showed me the mini cooper along with other vehicles in my price range. I thanked him and told him that I had just started looking and would get back with him about test driving a vehicle. There was no pressure or hard core selling...he said that was fine. I looked at many other dealers but did not find the good prices that BMW offered. I went back and test drove a Nissan Altima and loved it but wanted to think on it another day. Again Gary did not pressure me and let me go home and think about it.... I went back and bought the car the next day. Nobody else could match their price and the friendly service that I received. I would recommend this dealer and Gary to anybody looking for a car..new or used. There will be no pressure and excellent customer service and great prices.

I purchased a 2001 Acura CL Type-S. I had to drive from out of state to get the car and I called in advance to let the dealership know I would be arriving. While I was on the road to the dealership I was called by the dealership and informed that the vehicle was not ready that during an inspection it was discovered the front motor mount was bad and needed to be replaced. The dealership gave me the option of picking up the car "as is" with the promise of a new motor mount and a $200 credit off the car or waiting 3-5 days for the repair to be made. I opted to pick up the car and have the part shipped to me. I could not schedule another road trip to view the car.Upon arrival I was asked to wait. The wait turned into a 30 min wait before I was finally greeted by the salesman Mr. Randy Pugh. Mr. Pugh must have been very busy as he knew very little about the car and obviously had not had an opportunity to go over the vehicle. I along with the salesman took the vehicle for a road test. And in-fact the front motor mount was bad. Also the front rotors were warped and the electric mirrors were nonoperational. But the price was good and this was a "used" car so I committed to purchase the vehicle. The process to purchase the vehicle was another time consuming event and I was paying with cash I can only imagine how long it is for those buying on credit. The real sore spot was the final agreement was produced and I was charged a $600 "document fee". I asked Mr Pugh what the document fee was and he had no clue. I informed Mr. Pugh that I would walk away from the deal for a $600 fee that could not be explained. For reference the $600 represented almost 10% of the asking price for the car. During the conversation Mr. Pugh indicated that the fee was to "re-cope" the loss of the motor mount and the $200 credit given for installation. This comment did not make things better. I informed Mr. Pugh that he should go get his business manager as I was about to walk away.After waiting another 20 min the business manager arrived. She was very pleasant and explained the "document fee was for prepping the vehicle, cleaning the vehicle and filling the tank as well as lot storage fees and various other expenses. I then asked how long the vehicle had been on the lot and was informed that it was less than 10 day on the lot. I also asked when the "prepping and cleaning" was to be done as the car still had marks from the mechanic that conducted the inspection the identified the motor mount problem. I informed the business manager there was no way I was paying $600 for fees typically reserved for factory new cars not for cars purchased "as is". I started to walk away and she immediately cut the fee in half to $300. This only justified my concern that I was being treated unfairly as such I indicated that $300 was still too high and after more discussion I agreed to pay a $200 document fee. For all that I did get a full tank of gas.I was also informed that title and tag would be handled by the dealership and yes I paid for the service. Three weeks into the temporary tag I received a document from the dealer, the old owners title and a refund for the title fee they charged me. Apparently completing the title paperwork before the dealer temporary tag expired was too complicate so the papers were mailed to me to deal with. Over all the only thing good about this dealership is the price of the used car. I cant help but think it I would have had a better time if I had been purchasing one of the 7-series BMW's on the floor. But then I guess if your spending $85K the "document fees" amount to pocket change. Again I will not recommend people go to BMW of Chattanooga for any car purchase new or used.

I was looking for a very difficult car to find being that I had a certain price range and wasn't willing to purchase just any car because it fell within that range. I had a 2002 BMW 330CI that needed a lot of work done on it and it had over 148,000 miles on it. I really wanted to trade for another BMW, even another used one but newer model. There just wasn't anything available that I could afford. But Christine took the initiave and asked if there was any other car I would consider. I mentioned the VW. She right away figured trade in and payments and got it worked out so that I could aford the car. I was expecting a Beetle, but instead when I went out to see the car I didn't see a VW, instead I saw a beautiful black coup sitting in front outside. Cristine told me that was my car and I couldn't believe it. On top of that it was a hard top convertable. I could not have been happier!Naturally after driving two BMW convertables, I wanted another BMW, but it was luck before. It is hard to drive any other car after driving the "LEAN, MEAN DRIVING MACHINE!" but I have adjusted pretty well and am enjoying my "new" car, thanks to Christine.I also mentioned Jeremy because he has since had to repair and replace the left sun visor that was broken. When I was ready to purchase another car I returned to BMW of Chattanooga. I e-mailed an inquiry about new inventory and Christine Dumas answered my request immediately. I made an appointment with her, at my earliest convenience, and purchased a new 2013 BMW 535i from her that same day. After the sale Christine e-mailed and called on the 'phone to ensure that I was satisfied with the car. I have been treated the way I expected by Ms. Dumas and am looking forward to doing business with her and the dealership again.

I visited this dealership immediately after visiting another manufacturers dealership in the area. The salesman at the other dealership did not seem interested in my business - probably figured I couldn't afford one of his cars. He figured wrong. Amazing! Tom Williams BMW in Birmingham, Al sold the 2011 550 i GT that they were working on for my husband and I all week. They avoided our calls so saw a 2012 black on black GT and I called Tom Williams to see if they could get it. Well BMW of Chattanooga called me and began to work on getting things together for us got us approved a day later to pick it up. They has a driver follow me back to Montgomery, Al so my husband could sign the paperwork since he was at work. When I arrived they were friendly and attentive. I loved it! The car was outside waiting and beside it was a clear podium like stand that has congrats on Your new 2012 BMW 550 i GT I was like wow this was sweet of them. On Friday 24 August 2012 we stopped by the dealership 'just to take a look'. Kelly Cosper assisted us in narrowing down our selection and we test drove a used and a new X3. We did not intend to go to BMW because we thought it was only high end cars they sold, but my husband suggested we just go look for fun. We pulled in and saw the car we had been searching for at other dealers. We went to Carmax and then back to BMW to compare prices and options. Kelly Cosper was our sales lady and she was very helpful, nice, and worked hard to get the price we wanted. They gave us an awesome deal (after some haggling ;) ), they actually beat out Carmax, Hyundai of Cleveland (Eperson), and all the other dealers we looked at- (considering the options the car had) $15,998 for a GLS model vs the $15,000 for the limited model with all the bells and whistles our car has. Never again will we put a stereotype on BMW of Chattanooga... if you are looking for an affordable car that is used, seriously consider BMW of Chattanooga as an option.

He gained my trust immediately, and along with Leslie from finance and Christine, they made my drive up to TN from Fl very easy. They had all the paperwork ready for me to sign and took the time to explain everything and answer all my questions. I was thoroughly impressed and would recommend your dealership to everyone. The only issue I had (and because of the great service I received I'm considering this a minor issue) is that when I got to FL, and I left my car idle (running engine with A/C on, the car was making a pretty loud noise and it didn't sound normal. This was the second day I noticed if after being home from TN. I took it into the local dealership for service and they ordered a silencer cap. I was sad at first because I had just made a big purchase and something was wrong. But again, I'm not worried about it because it's been taken care of and my car is running great. I love my BMW but I only had bad experiences with the Chattanooga Dealer1) My first M3 a 1998 model: I still have the car I am the second owner. Back in 2003 I took the car for service with a check engine light on, got diagnosed with a faulty catalytic converter, $2500. I took the car for second opinion somewhere else and it turned out to be a $80 oxygen sensor. I replaced it and the light hasen't come back since.2) Same car: back in 2006 the car got vandalized so I took it to BMW. $15,000 Dollars later the seat is loose and the moldings are coming apart.3)in January of 2011 I got a new M3, (new for me since it's a 06 model) which has only been serviced at BMW. I took the car in for a computer recall, the first thing the associate told me was that is was completely out of alignment (it was time to change tires). I took the car to Chattanooga Alignment to put on tires that I got at Tire Rack, the alignment was 100%. I also asked the guy if he will guide me trough to synch my cell to the car after a two minutes "inspection" he told me it was not possible since the car is missing certain features. Today my son was looking at the manual and with a very simple set up my phone is now synched with the sound system. ( didn't need any special device). This is what made me decide to write this review.4) Same car, I purchased a BMW insurance for wheels and tires, three months down the road I hit a pothole on the Signal mtn. exitwhich bent the wheel and damage the tire, I called the number on the policy and got denied, called BMW and the same lady that sold me the insurance told me that I should have call them instead of the insurance company because they know how to talk to them. I cancelled the insurance and two months later got a refund minus three hundred Dollars.I really like this cars but I will never go to this dealer again. I have a service coming up and I'm planing on taking the car to the Knoxville dealership.Efren

When the car was delivered it had damage caused by the dealer , and the sales manager said go screw ur self u bought car as is but when i looked at vehichle it had no damage, coustomer service really bad never buy or recomend . The sales man was great but the sales manager is horriable i had to pay out of poket to fix transmission and the leather seat they tore before delivery and front bumper damage which total out $2600 .. For a 27000 dollar car .. Bad people to do buisness with. Sales manager didnt even have the courtesy to call me or talk to me when asked too . I cant believe they do people like that i will make sure that every website on the net have my story and the horrible experiance with that dealer ship .

The only thing was the rotors were warped, so I had Lexus of Chattanooga to fix them for $199.I wished they had fixed that before putting it up for sale. I would recommend this dealership for many reasons! First of all, from the moment I walked in the door, all the employees were kind and friendly. I had an appointment with Nik, but he was busy with another customer. Instead of making me wait, Ed took me to look at several cars. He let me test drive a couple of them and told me about all the qualities of a BMW. He was very helpful. When Nik finished with the other customer, he took over. Came from out of state on a Saturday, to look into a great 5-series BMW, I saw online. Talked to Bender Riggs beforehand who explained everything I needed and everything the automobile had in it.. I purchased a used BMW from BMW of Chattanooga. My Sales Representative was Ed Avery. He was easy to talk to and seemed to genuinely like his job. When I noticed a leak from beneath the car the next day he had me to return it and made sure that the issue was repaired. Not only did make sure everything was fixed, he did it with a smile on his face. Even though I wasn't buying the most expensive car on the lot, he treated me as if I was. Ed is a great asset.

I wanted a recent used car of a very specific type - M3 Coupe. As it turned out there were not many low mileage, recent vintage coupes, with the right options for sale in the southeast. Ed Avery at the dealership worked hard at satisfying my requirements. He provided me with many options based on what was available for sale thereby giving me the choice to choose or not. Ultimately, Ed did find a car that was right for me.I was also trading in an M3 so we had to agree on a trade-in value. That process was not as smooth as I would have liked. The dealership did work with me to smooth that out.We struck an agreement and when I went to pick up the car, my expectations were exceed as to the quality of the car and the prep work done by the dealership.I am pleased with the results and the car that I now have.

A satisfying experience overall. The salesman, Tyde, was very friendly and helpful, paying close attention to detail and very informative about the car and the whole buying process. We were never left alone, but always accompanied to the next person in the process. When I took the car in to have the "Touch of Class" applied the dealership went ahead and took care of upcoming maintenance issues instead of asking me to come back at another time. I was supplied with a 2011 model for a loaner car and called as soon as my car was ready.

My experience with Tyde was a 5 all the way. I initially had to return the vehichle to service due to a water leak. Initially, service did not feel it was a leak, but in the end the service from the Service department and especially Jeromy (I think that was the guys name) was great. Anyway, the person I worked with in service, in the end, was awesome.

I was wanting a Mini Cooper Convertible but my husband wanted me to look at the BMW 128 I. I walked in the door in Chattanooga and found it in the showroom. She contacted me several times with cars that met some of my demands until the right one came along. Recently I saw a Nissan SUV ad in the paper. It was at BMW Chatt. I called to see if they still had it, talked to Cristina Dumus. When I went over to the dealer to drive the car Ms. Dumas was right there, waiting for me. Working with her was great. She was very knowledgable on this Nissan and was able to get the price down to where my credit union would finance it for me. She took the time to show us around the dealership. It was pretty awesome. I have also been impressed with her follow up. I have gotten a copule of e-mails from her making sure that everything is fine. Next time I neeed a car I will check with Ms. Dumus to see what she has. But I don't expected to need one any time soon. However, my roommate needs one within this next year and she said that when it's time the first person she will call will be Ms. Dumas!

Had found a car we were interested in when looking in the paper, called BMW Chattanooga and talked to Christine Dumas. She had the car waiting for us that afternoon to view & drive. It was not a BMW but that made no difference in the way we were treated at the dealership! You would have thought we were buying a $90,000 sportscar! We were some what on a budget but that too made no difference! Christine, Labron & Leslie all worked hard with our credit union to get the numbers right. We were able to drive away with our "new" car, a fair payment, and a promise to ourselves to start with the Chattanooga BMW dealership next time we are in the market for a car.

Took vehicle in for Low Coolant and Service Engine warnings. They replaced a water hose and air pump. Two days later same warning lights come on and they say it now needs a new air valve and the coolant resevoir has sprung a leak. Instead of asking the tech what diagnostics were done or not done they speculated on what may have happened to cause these "new" problems. Service Advisor and Service manager gave conflicting information about price estimate and would not answer other questions. Wrote letter to General Manager and BMW of North America. The corporate Customer relations rep called and said she had talked with the dealership and I should expect a call. It's been a month and a half and I have not heard from the General Manager or Servie Manager. Also I was told I could not get a loaner vehicle since I did not buy my BMW at their dealership. Another person told me dealer bought vehicles have priority but they do allow other customers to use loaners on a "if available" basis. Too many inconsistency for me to have trust or confidence in this dealer. I will not take my vehicle back there.

Service department at BMW of Chattanooga does not provide competent work, the service manager is never available to help with problems, when we asked to talk to him he never returns calls. My car radiator was replaced because BMW said it was cracked. Three days later warning light is on and we tow the vehicle to BMW. Service says the coolant holder blew not new radiator and after much discussion about their not properly checking the system when work preformed, they agree to not charge full labor to replace coolant bottle. Same day they call to advise the water pump and thermostat may be bad. They do all the service on the vehicle including oil changes. BMW was responsible to check the entire cooling system when the radiator was replaced to evaluate all parts and components in the cooling system. The new problems and defects are a direct result of the vehicle not being properly checked. The service advisor says the Service Manager is unwilling to accept any responsibility or call. Guess my only option is legal action.
