If I could rate a no stars I would! I have been buying cars from this dealership for awhile now and was always happy with my car sales person Woody and Mark the service manager. My latest purchase was a car for my son. It was a 2018 mustang that they purchased at auction. I asked several times what was wrong with it and why was it turned in, I was told there was a problem but Ford took care of it. What they forgot to tell me, and had plenty of opportunity to to do so, was that it was a lemon buyback car. The minute I took it off the lot we began to have problems with the car. I took these issues all the way to the general manager Scott Miller. All he had to say was that I signed the documents that had a lemon buyback message at the very top of the page in the corner, which I missed as my son was in a hurry to get his first car. I reminded him that they had ample opportunity to verbally tell me this and let me make the decision at that point which they did not. I reminded him that I was a loyal customer but that didn’t seem to have any affect on his attitude towards taking care of this problem. I guess all he was interested in was selling the car and making the commission. Since I started having problems with the car right away it was in for service multiple times to fix a bumper that was glued on and a severe leak in the transmission and a back up camera that was not functioning. It was in and out of service several times to fix the leak and I dealt with a gentleman by the name of Jeremiah who was anything but helpful and in fact my last encounter him, he was very rude and he hung up on me. For a business to have someone like Jeremiah taking care of customers is unbelievable. But at the end of the day employees take their lead from the guy at the top and the GM Scott Miller should not be leading an organization with the way he handles loyal customers. I still own my wife’s very expensive Ford expedition platinum series but I will never go back to that dealership again. Buyer Beware!

2020 edit: after having a costly repair done on 2 displays that went out on a relatively new car (2016), the odometer read exactly 50,000 - this could be an overestimate of my actual mileage. It seems to odd to be a coincidence. I tried to contact them afterwards, but haven’t heard anything in a week or so. I’d hope after spending over $1500 on that one repair that I could get some answers. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE. I’ve done business with Bob Allen before. The reason I keep coming back is the knowledgeable sales staff, the service department, and all other staff. Jerome Tolliver helped us with our latest purchase. The guy isn’t pushy and listens to his customers needs. Bob Allen was the first place we stopped, and after seeing similar cars at other dealerships, the Bob Allen experience is was had us coming back.

Everything on the car looks great, the only recommendation I would have is to keep the customer informed if it's going to take longer than anticipated. I dropped the car off on Sunday to have the work begin on Monday and was told that it would be done on Wednesday. We were on vacation and didn't return until Thursday, but when I called on Wednesday to confirm it would be done on Thursday, I was advised that the car would not be done until Thursday evening or Friday morning. It worked out OK as I was able to work around it, but a call on Wednesday letting me know that instead of me calling them would have been nice.

I was in for my first service for my 16 Ford Edge. I didn't feel that the service person that day was very helpful in showing me where to wait until my car was done, they just told me, instead of showing me. Like I said, this was my first time there since I purchased my Edge. There wasn't anyone else waiting to be helped either, so I think they could've taken a few extra minutes to show me where to go. Then when my car was done, the same person just gave me the paperwork, but didn't tell me where my car was, so I was left to try and figure it out myself. I would've expected better customer service especially on my first visit. For the past 6yrs, I had been with another car manufacturer that did have better customer service, I hope it will improve with Bob Allen on my future visits.

I am part of the tires for life program. We just got our free tires at 85000 miles and am happy that we did not have to pay for tires. I was very disappointed when we were told that we had to replace all the lug nuts. This to me is a design defect. I have never replaced lug nuts on any car in 50 years, except for this Ford.

The service attendant was polite and efficient. She had the problem with my horn diagnosed and a time for my repair appointment set up in good time. I relaxed in the waiting area and had some good coffee while waiting. Then, the next day, after the part that was ordered came in and I dropped off my car to be worked on, I also let her know about my clock that was not able to be re-set to the correct time with the day-light saving time. She also worked on getting that reset for me, and would not quit working on it until she did get it to stay with the correct time! Now, I have a clock that is ticking right on time, and a horn that works great! And! They even ran my car through the wash before giving it back, so it looked great! Nice job Ford Team!

I've had my other Ford vehicle serviced at Bob Allen for several years but this was the first vehicle purchase I've made. My first contact in used car sales was with Charlie Peter, an engaging and very helpful young man. Kudos to Bob Allen for hiring young people like Charlie in the summer. For my purchase, I called early Saturday morning asking for Charlie who was not working that morning. Pierre Jacobs answered the phone and went straight to work to answer my questions and get the car ready for a test drive with my wife. Pierre was fantastic throughout the transaction, as was the rest of your staff. He continues to help me with a few items that are being done post-purchase. Everyone I've spoken to or had dealings with; i.e. mainly Pierre, Jason (in finance), and Steve Tarwater; at your dealership has been extremely welcoming and helpful. All in all, this was about the best car buying experience I've had. Thanks!

My one major complaint is they didn't check the tire pressures(Nitrogen). When I left, I checked the pressure on the instrument cluster and one tire was 5lbs low and the light came on the next day causing me to find somewhere that provided nitrogen fill service.

We bring all our vehicles to Bob Allen Ford for service. Our "new" vehicles were purchased there. We find the staff to be knowledgeable and friendly. They earned our business when they helped us determine the cause of a number of problems with our Lincoln Navigator. It is 16 years old and the body in great but we have had some weird electrical problems. They dug into the problem and found that our wiring had been chewed apart by a rodent. We got the Navigator back on the road and have not had any problems with the repairs.

My tire sensor light was going off so I brought my Edge into the Service Department for evaluation. They found that a screw had lodged into the outer tread so the tire needed to be replaced. This particular tire was not in stock but they ordered it over the phone from their vendor and it was to be delivered the following morning. My spare was put on and the injured tire removed. They kept the rim overnight and prepped it for the new tire. This would speed the process along so that I didn't have to wait as long when I returned. Everything went according to plan and it could not have been a more pleasant experience! Sean even volunteered to help me place the front plate on that I have had forever. I didn't have the tools and he took care of it in three minutes. Now I am fully supporting the Royals! He is always very nice, calm, knowledgeable and professional. He answers all my ridiculous questions and never loses his patience. He is part of the reason why Bob Allen is so amazing. Won't take my car anywhere else. ???

I recently purchased a 2016 Explorer that has proven to be one of the cars I have driven on the highway and in- town.The 3.5 Eco boost engine is very responsive, the car is very quite and comfort is great. Highway mileage is better thanExpected. For future generations of this model I would suggest eliminating the third row of next to impossible get to seats And moving the second row back to make for more leg room . The luggage space is very adequate and easy to use.The big complaint is on the gas tank lid as you need to but a pressure on it to close, however a turning latch would beMore secure

My car was hit by hail. Once I had my car looked at by my insurance company I took it to Bob Allen Ford to see when they could get it in. They got it in right away, dealt with the insurance company on differences between the estimate and what they were able to do and returned my car perfectly cleaned up and looked like new. I thought it was weird that the day after I picked my truck (oil & filter changed, seal where the drive shaft enters the differential replaced, transmission fluid changed, and all four shocks replaced), the Service Engine Soon light illuminated indicating the need to replace the #6 spark plug (which I did myself).I guess you don't check engine performance when you change the oil.

I am very happy with Sean's work by correcting all the mechanical issues. He was able to identify the problem with 2 of my tires after coming in twice before and being turned away with NTF. I am not to thrilled with the additional marks found on my car. I wash my car by hand and notice every new mark that shows up. Since my service, I know my bumper isn't the greatest shape, especially after my last vacation during the winter, but to see a 3-4 inch scrape across the bumper is unpleasant. There is a series of small upside down triangles around one of the wheel wells; groups of 3, more then a dozen. On the back, they replaced a motor for the electric back seats and I discovered a scratch that will not rub out.I feel between going to the air port and bringing my car into Bob Allen ford; Ford is number 2 on my list for causing to most damage to my car. For having my car for over 8 years, I believe it is in fairly great shape, but dread bring my car in for additional services. I know bring it back because I know my mechanical problems are already repair per my expectations.

The oil change & tire rotation was done quickly. I asked what it would cost to have my car washed & vacuumed out, as I asm handicapped & can not do that. The tech said he would handle at no charge. I drove 3 hours to buy a used car from them, and they went above and beyond expectations to have it ready for us on short notice. Dale is an exceptional salesman and even went to extra trouble after the sale to locate the owners manuals a few days later and had them mailed to us. Kayla in the service area was very friendly, approachable and kept the communication lines open with me about the status of my vehicle (it ended up being a whole-day event). My only complaint is that I had asked for a quote from the body shop and at the end (of a very long day) I had to wait 10 extra minutes because they didn't put the quote in the car. So, Kayla ran to the body shop to try and find it...it just seemed to be an awfully long time to wait for a copy of the quote.

Needed front and back suspension work on 2006 Mustang. My advisor Tom gave me a near-perfect estimate and recommended work I could defer. Very pleased with the work and the scheduling. The only glitch was with getting the car after service was complete. I think the wash/delivery team was understaffed (it was New Years Eve!) as I waited about 30 minutes before reminding them I was still waiting. Once reminded, the staff did get my car pulled around and delivered the keys to me in about 10 minutes. This hasn't happened with my previous services so this was not that big a deal.

I wanted the Goodyear F1 Supercar tires for my car which are different sizes in the front and back. The front tires were in stock but the back tires weren't and not available for special order either. Therefore, we had to wait for them to come off national backorder. Once they did, Chase promptly contacted me and much to my surprise the tires were cheaper than I thought due to the fact I didn't have to pay a "special order/shipping" fee. Also, once I dropped it off, it was done not long after I got home! I wasn't able to pick it up for a couple days and because it's a garaged Shelby Mustang, Chase took it upon himself to make sure it was in their garage every night. As far as my likeliness to recommend Bob Allen Ford to family and friends, I really don't do that unless the situation warrants it. However, I was very pleased with the service and attention I received and have been a Bob Allen customer for years!

Shortly after my initial purchase of a Toyota RAV4 I became unhappy with it's ride comfort. I brought in my Freestyle only knowing that the battery light was on. the battery was anew, and another mechanic at an unrelated location mentioned that it probably needs an alternator,,, I checked the alternator out myself, along with the connecting wires and could find nothing. I then took my car to For and the service tech conferred with the mechanic that was actually going to be working on my car while I was there, and they informed me of what the problem typically was with the alternator and cfm, as well as needing a torque bar replaced all at the same time. I felt very comfortable knowing that they had experience with this fix and knew right away what was needed.

2013 Fiesta for minor body shop work. The "transmission impossible" is still an open ticket, waiting on clutch and seal.As for the body shop visit which I believe triggered this survey, Bob Allen Ford did an excellent job, did it one day ahead of schedule, and the rental car (on prem at the dealership) was likewise seamless. I very much appreciate Bob Allen Ford's handling of this with lots of extra courtesy extended to me as health-wise I have some "bad" days. It proves once again, that the Bob Allen Ford dealership is an excellent operation; my previous survey with adverse comments are really directed at Ford, all recalls (3) were handled quickly and I really appreciate that. The downside, I hate to say, of any of this is that I can't "escape" pardon the Ford-centric pun, the feeling that the Fiesta and it's PowerShift is a bad mistake and IF I were not retired and living on Social Security I would get another car with a good old "slushbox" transmission. Note that I am open-minded, in fact was intrigued with the operation of the PowerShift, I rarely drive the car but when I do its operation is unacceptable, it seems to be unable to handle low gears at low acceleration and does better with "punchy" driving. I long for a slushbox (torque convertor) transmission once again, and a 2-door compact car that makes good use of interior space. There is a crowded feeling to the Fiesta and really poor visibility to the rear. I fear the car is really no better than a 2001 Focus that I suffered with visibility-wise, though I went back to Escort/ZX2 sedans after that and can happily say that all the Escorts (5?) and one Escort ZX2 were as dependable as could be, started every day. I'm a phone company retiree, and "car wouldn't start" has never been an acceptable excuse for being late to work!Once again kudos to BA Ford, they really do try hard to accommodate my visits, and mild brickbats to Ford Motor Company who seems to be turning out rather ornate, but not very well thought out automobiles, from good old Mexico.FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS VISIT, (body shop) ALL 5 STAR EXPERIENCE, Thanks!

Well, long story short: I was given either conflicting info (or not given all the info needed) about some service work. Namely, I wasn't told about a "service/storage fee" for having tires bought online and shipped to Bob Allen. Fortunately, I DID learn about this "fee" prior to having my tires shipped. Not THAT big a deal, but somewhat annoying that no one told me this until the third time I spoke with employees - when I was ready to have them shipped.I suppose I should mention this, too: The reason I even needed tires is because I bought a 6-month old vehicle which had "summer only" tires on it. NO ONE in my circle of friends and family (most of whom grew up in the Mid West) has even heard of such tires. So, while my ignorance can only be blamed on me - if we wish to assign blame - there is no reason I SHOULD have even known of their existence. When selling a vehicle in a market that experiences all four seasons, I do think it was uncool to sell me the car with those tires on it. At the very least, the most ethical thing to do would have been to alert me about these tires prior to purchasing the car. But ALL of the the people I have dealt with at Bob Allen have been friendly, courteous and (aside from the above-mentioned incident) professional.

Since i bought my truck there, the experience was 2nd to none. This was the best purchasing process i have ever had. The facilities were very clean, there was no pressure to purchase and no haggling, everybody I dealt with was very upfront, straight forward, courteous, friendly, and professional. Alex Kranzberg at Bob Allen Ford was our sales person. This is the first time I have ever been to a dealership with out a pushy sales person. It felt more like a day out with my family than shopping. I had a transmission replace for the second time in 5000 miles (under warranty). Everything went well, service representative very helpful and courteous. Ford made the right decision to replace the trany rather than rebuilt it. but I'm concerned about some of the conditions described in the technicians report (metal filings in bottom of pan and old trany fluid, fluid smells burnt, fluid and filings in torque converter, walls of pump scoured, ect. It is my understanding that the replaced transmission is also under warranty but I'm wondering how all the conditions describe will effect its applicability and efficacy. How all inclusive is the existing warranty? As in how many times is FORD going to replace a transmission? Does duration and of the warranty start over with this replacement or does it continue on based on the time the first job was completed?

I was disappointed when I discovered that when the front left wheel was replaced that it was replaced with a wheel that did not match. This error caused me to have to waste another half day of my time getting the right one and having to make two more trips down to your shop. I feel that a lot more effort could have been taken the first time instead of fixing something after it was already done. This was an obvious mistake and should have been caught before it ever left the shop.

My step mother was very sick and I was concerned about going without a car for a long time. When I told the service department this, they were very quick and finished my car up in two and a half hours. I could tell they made it a priority. My only complaint - they never have transportation available for me when I drop off my car to take me home. Luckily I live about six blocks away.

Our salesman was Dale, who did a great job in identifying the vehicle that best met our needs. He was very knowledgable about the vehicles we were looking at (Ford Explorers), by providing history of the model, and how they relate with other brands. Once we found our match, Dale helped guide us through the best path at getting us the lowest cost. We ended up getting an extended warranty as we found their personnel very helpful and planned to continue to use them for future maintenance of the vehicle.

No problem except, some one ,either the wrecker driver sent by ford, or some one at the shop removed the little plug for access to release it from park. I didn't notice it for a few days. By then I had vacuumed the car. I was unable to locate it, so not knowing for sure who left it out, I ordered another. The charge was 16.00 for a 50 cent item. Oh well, so I couldn't get it to fit, Finally the little legs kept breaking off, till I had only one A this point I dropped it again . Lo and behold the one I picked up had all the legs on it, and fit perfectly. Conclusion! The one I was sold was a millimeter or so too big and I had found the original. In any case after 16.00 and 45 minutes of work it is fixed. I am not particularly upset but it seemed so unnecessary.

We paid cash (Check) for the car. The check cleared our bank in a few days but it took three weeks for the title to appear in the mail. That made it a challenge to us to get the title transferred and the car licensed in the four week period before we would be in violation in Missouri. I brought my 2002 Ford Focus ZTW Wagon in for service. Multiple fluid levels were checked. This included:brake fluid; transmission fluid; oil (lube and filter);and power steering fluid. When I inquired as to whether a tune up was needed, I was told that I could wait until I reached 90,000 miles on my odometer. They did say the tread on my passenger side tires was in need of replacement. If I did not want to purchase tires now,I needed to do so before Winter. I did not have to wait as long as I thought to get all the work done.The service technician kept me advised of the progress.

I am always happy with the customer service provided by Jake Horn in the service department at Bob Allen Ford. I able to get in quickly and have a diagnosis and solution communicated with me with a cost estimate in a timely manner. Unfortunately, I am not quite as happy with the rental/loaner car service contracted through Bob Allen and provided by Hertz in the dealership. I have purchased my vehicle at the dealer and even have purchased an extended warranty that covers a 'free' rental during times my vehicle is being serviced. I drive a SUV and on multiple occasions receive a 'compact' that is really resembles a golf cart that isn't even a vehicle the dealer sells as its main business! Last time I was given a Chevy Spark. I am also bombarded by the Hertz rep to purchase extended insurance coverage, which is not necessary as I am a fully covered under my personal insurance. I would appreciate a more comprehensive service from Bob Allen that provides customers with a reasonable courtesy vehicle that is comparable to the customer's.

Came in for routine oil change/tire rotation. Once I drove off the lot, I noticed a shimmy in the wheel. Went back the next day to tell them that maybe the weights needed to be taken off the front wheels due to my wheels apparently being bent. I was told there was nothing that could be done but to replace my wheels or move the bent wheels to the back. I called up the shop where I bought my wheels (I had no clue how they could've gotten bent) and had verify the wheels were bent, and to see if they could repair them. Wheels in fact aren't bent. Called Jacob in Service and told them that the wheels aren't bent, but they weren't balanced properly; the folks at Ford didn't shave off the weights I guess. Anywho, Jacob made it right. I will be back as I still trust the folks in the shop there.

When we picked the car up the 1st time we noticed holes at the end of the chrome strips on the bumper. I commented that they weren't there before an was told that's what State Farm ordered. The service on my car was top notch even though I will be coming back to have the original issue fixed. With that said, it was serviced properly (Focus transmission troubles) when I came, but the problem has returned since. No big deal. We knew that was a possibility.My service department rep is a matter all it's own. I have never, in my 20+ years of owning a car, been treated the way I was by Jake. He was completely understanding, helpful, willing, and a true pleasure to work with. He listened to my needs and made sure that everything could happen on my schedule. I'm a firefighter and don't have a normal schedule. He probably treated me the exact same way he does other customers, but it resonated with me to no end. It is one of the only time in my dealing with a dealership that I truly felt that I came out a head and was not at the mercy of the shop. I will be back to Bob Allen and I hope Jake is there for quite a while! Also, I plan on buying a new F150 in the coming year and if Bob Allen employs people half as good as Jake on a regular basis, BA will be my first choice for a dealership! Thanks, Brian Hagman

I bought a non Ford used car at this dealership. Buying experience was great. Bought the extended warranty. Must use the warranty at Bob Allen Ford unless you breakdown. Fifty (50) miles from the dealership. When needing repairs this dealership will not send the car out of their shop when they can't repair it. I was told more than once that they didn't have the tools or equipment to do a proper repair. I had A/C problems that they could only bandaid. At one point, after taking the car in for the same A/C problem three times, and never being repaired I took the car to another non Ford dealership. The problem was fixed. I had this dealership call Bob Allen Ford for warranty repair approval. The service manager of Bob Allen Ford called me a told me never to take the car to anyone other than them again. He then approved this one time only repair. For the rest of the warranty period (4 years) I took it to Bob Allen Ford. I had other repair issues that also got the bandaid type repairs. Now that the warranty is over I will never go back to Bob Allen Ford for repair work.

I told the salesman that was helping me that I did not want to be sent to Wells Fargo. I received a denial letter from Wells Fargo with in a few days of telling him this. Why was it sent to them when I said I DID NOT want to go through them? I was also told that the scratches would be painted/ touched up before I picked up the auto. This was not done either. I have talked to two people since the purchase. They both told me the salesman would call me back and explain why this was not done and I have yet to hear back. If there is something that I was told would be done I would expect the dealership to honor that statement/ promise. If it was never going to be done then it should never be stated/ promised.

The recent purchase of my new 2015 F150 was a very good experience. Tim Smith was very helpful throughout the process from when I ordered the truck to be built through when I took delivery last week. His communication with me and keeping me informed was very good. I am very pleased with the truck. It appears to exceed all of my expectations.My only criticism is that the interior of the truck was not cleaned very well before it was delivered. When I picked it up, there was still protective plastic coating on the brushed chrome on a couple of the front a/c vents and the interior glass was very dirty. Not enough to change the overall satisfaction my experience but yet it is something I thought I should mention.I'm very happy with my new truck and I am sure my family and I will be buying from Bob Allen again.

We purchased a brand new explorer. As we walked in we were greeted by the owner, Brad who made sure we had a good experience. This was my second encounter with this dealership. Granted the first one was 20 years ago but they failed then also. Hey BAF...a few words of advice. When a customer comes in looking for SPECIFIC make and models, show them THAT and not what you just want to sell. That's what you did with us. We asked for a Ford Explorer and you brought out something else entirely. At least it was still a Ford but that was the only commonality. Terribly disrespectful of our wishes. Next...when you bring out a price quote and say you don't want to drag on the negotiating process by starting to drop the price to "get you into this car TODAY!" and then the third following sentence (I kid you not) drop the price not once but twice. We were dumbfounded. That is EXACTLY what transpired. Of course we declined the offer. If you were that quick to lower the price that quickly our joint impression was then HMMM...I wonder how much lower they would go when we knew we would hear from you on Monday. (we came in on a Saturday afternoon) And lo and behold...first thing Monday morning and my phone rings from the dealership. To my surprise, it was not our sales person but the sales manager doing the follow up. Now I feel you have shown disrespect for the salesman for not having enough faith in him/her to allow them the courtesy of the follow up after they put in that much time and effort. Management MUST allow the staff perform their duty if they are ever going to improve and be a more profitable commodity to the enterprise. You shot out our poor salesman's tires. Once again, we courteously declined your offers. One more thing. It is now Monday evening at 7:30. My phone just rang again and guess who...the dealership. But this time it WAS our unfortunate salesperson. And from the sound of his starting the conversation, the sales manager had not even informed him that we declined the offer earlier that day as we found what we wanted somewhere else. I felt so sorry for him, as now in my eyes, the sales MANAGER did not even do him the service of passing on the information. Mr. Sales Manager, you sent this poor guy who only wants to have a job into a situation where his only option was to look foolish in front of the customer. Shame on you. You owe this man an apology. And don't try blowing it off as a "training experience". You failed a member of your staff. Again...shame on you. So from here, I refuse to name names as that is HIGHLY inappropriate, but I guarantee you will not see me a third time. Good luck in your business. And thank you my sales person for all your time and effort to make my car buying experience pleasant. You performed your duties admirably and I wish you the most luck of all for the future.

I have never had issues with the service department at this dealership until a visit this past weekend. I was told there were a few safety recall items on my Escape that needed to be repaired, so I scheduled an appointment. A few days before my appointment I called to report a few other issues going on with my vehicle and if they could be looked at while I was in for my appointment, one of them being my low tire pressure light was on. She asked if I could bring it in a few hours earlier to allow for extra time to look over the other issues, and I agreed I would. When I brought it in Saturday morning I felt like the associate (the same person I had spoken on the phone with a few days before) was acting rushed and not really listening to everything I was saying. I was told regarding my air conditioner that she couldn't get it to malfunction for her and they "can't fix something that's not broken", but that they would take a look. I didn't appreciate this attitude and had a bad feeling about my visit from there. I reminded her about my low tire pressure while I was speaking with her. When I returned to pick it up I asked if my tires looked okay and she said they did. We went out to check if the tire light was still coming on and it was. Another associate proceeded to fill my tires up with nitrogen. The light did go off after I left, but two days later it came back on. I took it in and they discovered I had a nail in one of my tires. This left me wondering how something like this would have been missed if the tires were really looked at and the pressure checked while it was with them on Saturday. Maybe "we can't fix something that's not broken" was the case with my AC, but there really was an issue with my tire, and it was missed. After I had reported the low pressure not once but twice, and also was cooperative and brought my car in a few hours earlier for them as requested. Luckily they agreed not to charge me for the tire repair after I had explained the situation I went through. I'm hoping my future experiences will be more positive ones. Possibly if I ask to speak with a different associate who listens.

I went in looking for a F-150, being very particular about the smaller details that other local dealers had chosen to blow off as not being a "make it or break it item". Austin Blackwell sat down with me, listened to what I wanted and that I wasn't planning to buy unless everything I wanted was in place. We're fairly new to the Kansas area from PA/NJ & my fiance decided to purchase a new Ford. (His current Expedition has over 250K miles on it) This dealership is about 5 mins from the home, so down Metcalf Ave we went. As we pulled into the customer parking area, a friendly gentleman came out of the dealership to greet us. His name was Jerome Tolliver. We had an idea of what vehicle we wanted, so he took us directly to the 2013 Ford Explorers. There were several on the lot to choose from. What a PLEASURABLE experience we had. There were no high pressure sales tactics, no flim flams or mixing of numbers/options involved. We received a quote with several options, thanked him for his time & off we went to the next Ford dealership. The next dealership wasn't as friendly or as personable, so after lunch we returned to purchase the vehicle we liked most from Jerome at Bob Allen. My fiance can't wait until his new vehicle arrives from the factory in a few weeks!Bob Allen/Jerome Tolliver, Thank You for the exceptionally wonderful service!! Coming from a Customer Service background myself, when you genuinely provide high standards of service, you become accustomed to expect the same in return. I found myself in a financial nightmare and contacted Bob Allen Ford via internet, Larry Brown called me in reference to my inquiry but I was not available so he left a voicemail. I did not have an opportunity to return his call and he took the initiative and contacted me again two days later. I made an appointment with him and when I arrived at the dealership I was greeted in the most welcoming manner and my experience escalated upward from that point. Larry Brown was very professional, asked questions of what I was looking for and why I was looking to trade. He spoke with his Sales Manager and Finance Manager and returned to me and said he was going to go get my new car and would be right back. I have always selected my own vehicle in the past but he had such a professionalism about him that I was completely at ease with him making the selection. When he returned and escorted me outside to view the car, I was incredibly satisfied with his choice. We took the vehicle for a short drive and he explained all of the functions of the vehicle and upon return to the dealership, he set into motion all aspected of making the sale all the while making certain I was aware of each step and that I was comfortable during the process. I then met with Jason Hensley for the financial portion of the trade and he also was extremely professional and made certain that I understood all aspects of the contract. Having just separated myself from a horrid relationship, I had nothing more than my clothes and my car and no funds. The entire staff at Bob Allen Ford stepped forward and "took care" of me during the entire process. I felt no pressure or stress from anyone and each member of the team made me feel they genuinely cared about me personally and did everything possible to make my experience amazing. I will return to Bob Allen Ford in the future as well as recommend all of my friends and family to them. I cannot express the overall positive experiences I had while there and would recommend this dealership to anyone and everyone. After my purchase, several members of the team went to my vehicle with me to make sure I understood the different functions of the car. I must say, the situation that I was in and the way I was treated brought me to tears of sadness in trading a vehicle I love to tears of joy for the new vehicle I was purchasing along with tears of gratitude for the compassion of the team.The people at Bob Allen Ford are exceptional and I recommend the to the fullest.

I bought a Lincoln zephyr from Bob Allen Ford in August, paid 14,000 dollars cash for the car. Little did I know that I would be spending another 800.00 plus dollars for 4 brand new tires and 4 bushing arms had to be replaced also. This a bunch of crap. My husband calls the dealership speaks with a Mr. Hamilton told him what the problem is and Me Hamilton says to my husba nd what do you want me to do about it? Really? Bad customer service!!! I will NEVER buy a car from Bob Allen Ford again. Olathe Ford will get my business

A year ago me and my husband purchased a 2008 Ford Escape from Bob Allen Ford, and it was a great experience overall, Chris was not the typical pushy salesman we had deal with in the past, the deal was done quick, professional and friendly. We enjoy the Escape. Last month, again, we were in the market for another vehicle for myself, and sure enough I called Chris at Bob Allen, not expecting him to remember me since it had been a year since we purchased the Escape. But I was wrong, Chris remembered exactly who I was and even asked about my son who was a few months old back then. This time we purchased a 2005 convertible mini cooper which is the car I have always wanted. Chris worked out an amazing deal for us since we had purchased another vehicle in the past. Me and my husband left absolutely satisfied with the service, the price and the quality of both vehicles. We definitely recommend This dealer and specially Chris for doing his job right by taking care of his customers.

I just came in to look at a new car and get an idea of how the price would fit in my budget. Travis showed me some very nice cars and I was at first skeptical on how I could afford the sticker price but he assured me he would get the price to what I could afford. He was not pushy and showed me several different models and talked to me about their overall strengths and qualities. He was very knowledgable of each vehicle. He knew the specs with out hesitation and knew little details that other dealers seem to miss like the design process of the car or why the vehicle was rated top reliable car of 2012. After I made up my mind of what I was looking for I returned and spoke with Travis again and told him what I was looking for and what I was willing to pay. Unfortunately they did not have that car on the lot but he told me they would find what I was looking for and have it shipped over and with in two business days I received a phone call that it had arrived. We took it for a test drive and while driving Travis explained what was going on inside the engine and transmission and why this car was a great buy. He explained all the technology that went into the car that made it very fuel efficient but yet still powerful. It was very interesting and still has me thinking about it as I drive to and from work today.Once we returned to the dealership he sat me down and asked me what I thought and if it was what I was expecting. It was. He asked me about my budget and I told him the price I could afford. He quickly leapt into action running between me and his sale manger to crunch numbers and work out a deal for my trade in and rebates. I was shocked at how much I got for my trade in. They were very quick at coming up with a number. After 20 or so minutes we had worked out the price and financing. They even worked in the price for window tinting into my trade value which was done the following business day. While my car was in the shop they loaned my a very similar vehicle for the day for no charge.Travis and the whole staff at Bob Allen were very polite and respectful. I felt no pressure to buy or hassle once I decided to buy. I would highly recommend this dealership and Travis to friends, family and even a complete stranger!

I purchased a new 2010 Ford Focus a couple of years ago. I am nearly 65 and it is my first Ford! I have had Honda and Acuras only over the last several years. My friend wanted to introduce me to a Ford, so I went it. Our salesman was Woody and what a great salesman he is. Whenever I have a question, I always top by and ask for Woody and he is always gracious to help me. As far as your service is concerned, I have always been treated like a Queen. All of them have been very professional, the waiting room is very clean and of course serving Starbucks is a great choice. When I check out the girls who take me payment are always very professional and kind as well. One of these days I will get my second Ford!

I didn't have time to wait for a two hour alignment today, the oil change alone took about an hour. I have other things to do besides hang out at Bob Allen.

From sales (Chris Scudiero)to financing(Greg Marquis), they were flexible, informative, and provided great advice, all in an atmosphere that put both of us very much at ease.I especially thank Ron Hamilton first for thinking of us(and contacting us)when the exact car we were looking for became available, and for the flexibility he exhibited to allow us to ultimately get the car we really wanted. I can't imagine that this would have happened at many other dealerships, and without his efforts, I wouldn't be in the vehicle I've wanted for years. Since the sale, they have been great with follow-up, and I feel exceedingly confident my car will great care for years to come. I now know we'll be a Ford family for a very long time.

The sales person Jerome was great, but that was the end of the good. When they were prepping the car after the sale, they pulled the tint off the real window while removing the price sticker. We had to come back a second time to get it fixed. The rental car smelled terrible and had a funk to it. The service crew was not friendly.When we picked up the title information for the car the first time, they wrote the wrong make on the paperwork. The second time I came in to pick up the corrected paper work, no one knew where the paperwork was kept. The third time I came in the nice girl at the switchboard had no clue waht I was talking about. Luckily she found it after a couple minutes of looking.As I said, Jerome was great. Everything else was second or third rate.

Customer service and friendliness go together at Bob Allen Ford. I had several questions about my new Ford which was answered in such a way that I couldn't help knowing what to do. On Saturday morning, they offer Synch classes which I attended and asked a question concerning the heating/air conditioning. The instructor came out with me to my car and we went over the whole thing, including defrosting the windows. Nothing to do with Synch. I have yet to go for a service call, but I believe that the helpfulness and friendliness will also be there. I am also quite sure that the quality of the work will be superb.

We went to Bob Allen Ford because they were the only dealer in the area who had a 2013 Mustang V6 convertible available for a test drive. I originally had no thoughts of buying a car there since there are numerous other Ford dealers much closer to our home. Chris Scudiero met us and went on a test drive with us. He then introduced us to Jay Petznick. They were both very friendly and helpful and tried to convince us to purchase from them. We weren't ready to do anything at the time and let them know we would consider it.A few days later Chris called to inform me they had received a red convertible. I was out of town and stopped by to look at it on the way home. That car was what I wanted but I still wasn't ready to buy and wanted to talk to closer dealers. After a couple weeks our situation changed and we decided we were ready to buy. We were considering a used 2011 but wanted to see about the red one at Bob Allen Ford. I told them I would bring my MINI Cooper in for an appraisal and a quote for a trade in. I went there without my wife because she was unavailable at the time. They gave me a quote and I told them I would talk to a couple of other dealers and make a decision. I then went home and started looking at reviews of the dealership and sales staff. After that research, I decided to make the purchase from Chris without going anywhere else. I picked up my wife and took her there to make sure she was OK with the color of the car and the deal.We accepted the deal and drove the car home. I am extremely pleased with the entire experience and look forward to a long future with them. Not only are they very pleasant and professional but I am convinced that I wouldn't have received a better deal anywhere else.

I will very rarely give anybody or anything an excellent rating. To me that means there is no room for improvement. Hence my rating of 4 out of five. If I could have given you a 4.5 I would have. Kelly did a great job of showing me the sort of used truck I was looking for. Of course it is easier when the vehicle you want happens to be on the lot.Right? Now we just have to find the right travel trailer to hook up to this bad 5.7L Hemi Dodge Ram 4X4.

They exemplify excellence, they are professional and at the same time, LOADS OF FUN!! I was given a clear understanding of the functionality of my Edge and even classes held at the dealership, that I could take to learn the "Sync" system better. What blew me away, was about a week after my purchase, we received a gift from them, thanking us for their business - and it was cookies!! Cookies in the mail...who does that and how did they know that chocolate chip was my fav?! Another opportunity came when I was given a loaner car through their on-site rental company - Enterprise. I was less than thrilled to be given a dirty car with a minimal amount of gas, so I expressed my concern with my Sales Team and not only did they apologize and express sincere understanding...they came down to my job and switched out the rental with a Ford Edge...once again, I was blown away...I even tried to talk them out of it, since I was getting my car back in one day, but they insisted. Each and every time I step into my car...I think about my "experience" and it makes me more proud of my purchase - everyone should feel this way after buying a car! I love me some them.

Our 2010 Escape was nearing its third year in our garage. I had received an email from Ron Hamilton of Bob Allen Ford to come in and get an appraisal and see if it would translate into getting into a newer Ford...little did I know. I went into the dealership and asked for Ron. He came out to meet me by the front desk and after some general information exchange, he introduced me to Salesman Kelly Gray. Kelly got a feel for what I was looking for (I was looking to upgrade to possibly an Edge and I thought the Explorer was out of reach but they had a 2011 model that was pre-owned). Kelly brought it out and I took it for a spin. Kelly was very likeable and personable and not a hard sell at all. Needless to say, several hours later, I drove off of the lot with a newer and nicer vehicle. I have dealt with Bob Allen before, in 2009, and both experiences were, by far the best I have ever experienced in transacting on a newer vehicle. I highly recommend this Overland Park KS Ford dealership!

I made an Internet inquiry about a 2012 Ford Escape on a Sunday. By 8:45 AM the next day I had a reply from Chris Scudiero on a vehicle. I have nothing but good things to say about Bob Allen Ford. In the period of 5 months, my husband and I have purchased 4 vehicles from them. After having had a horrible experience at another local Ford dealer, we were not in the best of moods, but we decided to stop in to see what they could do for us at Bob Allen. We were greeted at the door by a very cheerful Kelly Gray. Kelly really took the time to understand what we were looking for and to understand our unique situation. He got to know us as people, not just looking at us as dollar signs. We were looking at buying one SUV, and perhaps two, depending on what kind of deals could be made. They didn't have the exact vehicle my husband was looking for, but they were able to locate one very close to it at their sister store, and were willing to install, at their cost, the accessories that were missing that we wanted. After doing the numbers, it was determined that we would, in fact, be able to get that second SUV. Backtracking just a bit, we didn't get to the dealership until about 6:30 pm. We all know that it takes a long time to buy a vehicle, so double that for two. Not once did we feel pressured to hurry so he could get home to his family. In fact, he told us that he would stay as long as needed and not to worry about it. After an excellent experience with Kelly, we were then introduced to the finance manager, Jason Hensley. Let me tell you right now, Jason is a financial genius. This man knows his stuff inside and out. And again, Jason never made us feel pressured to hurry up. He was more than happy to answer all the questions we had and added personal stories and examples. In fact, the cleaning crew had arrived by the time we all left for the evening. My husband and I each left with two great vehicles (a Ford Explorer and a Ford Edge) and Kelly and Jason went home knowing that they had earned loyal customers for life.Fast forward 4 months. Life circumstances make it necessary for my husband and I to trade in our beloved SUVs for more economical vehicles. This time, it was like working with family. Kelly is extremely easy going and fun to work with. He had gotten to know us both well enough that he was able to pick out the vehicles that we would like before we set foot on the lot (we had called him in advance to make sure a trade-in was feasible). There were some issues with one of the vehicles we purchased, but they were promptly taken care of, even the ones I notified them about after the paperwork was signed and the car was driven off the lot. They could have easily told us that we would have to use our warranty and pay the deductible, but they didn't. In fact, they even gave us a rental car for a week at no cost to us. Back to our time at the dealership... After working with Kelly, we again went to see Jason to do the paperwork. He was just as friendly as last time, so it definitely wasn't a fluke. This man did everything in his power to make sure we got the absolute best rate available. He is simply amazing! The owner, Brad Hewlett, even stopped by and thanked us for being Bob Allen customers. Again, at the end of the day, we got two great vehicles, and Kelly and Jason have loyal customers for life.Oh, I almost forgot to mention the cookies! When you buy a vehicle, they send you a tin full of the most scrumptious cookies you've ever had in your life as a thank-you gift. Word of warning: I believe those cookies are kept somewhere in a secret vault at Bob Allen. I tried to get another tin of cookies out them, and that just wasn't happening :) Bottom line...cookies or no cookies, Bob Allen Ford is by the far the best dealership I have ever had the pleasure of working with. We will return when its time for our next set of vehicles (hopefully a long time from now). We are proud to be a part of the Bob Allen family!

I have purchased cars from Bob Allen Ford for many, many years and have always been extremely satisifed each and everytime. However, when I went into the dealership this time the level of product from the manufacturer, the entire newly remodeled dealership, dealership customer service and overall professionalism has been taken to a whole NEW level customer accomodation ans satisfaction. I truely believe that they were there to serve me and my needs and I would challenge anyone looking for a new or used vehicle to experience what they have to offer.I am 43 and have purchased a lot of vehiles in my life, everything from the $200 beater car that barely made it home and never ran again to the brand new luxury model cars. But when I went in looking for a new car this time I needed a car that was fuel efficient, well-equipped, family-friendly, spaciousness and sporty I found it on the showroom floor literally. Sitting there was my 2012 Ford Fusion SE in Steel Blue, it is the one in the commerical running now with the owner Brad Hewlett talking about the dealership. It is in the background over his left shoulder behind the orange BOSS 302 Shelby 500 Mustang. The car was perfect, not some base-model with nothing on it where the price goes up $5,000 just to get a/c and radio. A well-equipped beautiful car ready to go for anyone interested. I sat down with Ray Blanco and Rusty Nicholson and we discussed my needs and wants in a professional atmosphere, like a business meeting should be. We agreed on a course of action and determined that the Fusion over the Focus had a better incentive package for my financial position verses the Focus. I test drove a V6 and a inline 4-cyl and choose the inline 4-cyl to get the better mileage. Surprisingly, the 4 cylinder is no slouch it gets great mileage but has power like a 6 cylinder when you need it. Smooth, roomy and very comfortable for me, I am a big and tall guy with a bad back so these issues are everything for me and the Fusion delivered in a big way. Ray and Tim Smith both talked about how they both own Fusions for their families and they have been extremely satisifed with their cars. The honesty and time they spent with me and my wife sold us on finalizing the deal.While completing the the financial package Greg Marquis was polite, honest, direct and sincere while getting everything setup with the bank. There was no hidden or questionable fees or confusing paperwork. In fact, he was able to improve the original deal which was considerably better than my research had indicated.The salesmen all stayed late on a Friday night to move all the other cars off the showroom floor to get my new car out and prepped for delivery that night. THEY EVEN DELIVERED IT TO ME WITH A FULL TANK OF FUEL !!!!!! Mind you we didn't even start to do paperwork until 500pm when my wife got off work that day, we were there until 800pm, thanks guys.If you need a economic car, a work truck like legendary F-150, a family car like my Fusion, luxury car like a Taurus or anything else I can not stress enought that you got to Bob Allen Ford and talk to them, no pressure or strong arming to do get a great vehicle.Also, ladies let me say while I am a man I always watch how sales people treat women, specificaly my wife. I feel 100% confident that if my wife needed to go to the dealership for any reason that they would show her the honesty, respect and courteasy she deserves.Bob Allen Ford competes on all levels for your business, the same as any luxury car dealer. Where do I begin? We test drove our new car with no intent of getting it that day, but hoping to purchase it in the near future. We had been in discussion for two weeks with Don Cox and Ray Blanco about different options and had no doubts we were going to purchase sooner or later from Bob Allen. We have our F150 serviced by Bob Allen when needed and have always been impressed with the customer service. Working in customer service myself for more than 8 years, Bob Allen's employees set the standard for quality service. My husband and I test drove our "dream car", gave the keys back to Ray and Don saying, "we LOVE the car and hope the car is here in a few weeks when we are able to buy it." Ray and Don said we could work on numbers to see if it could work to take the car home that day and sure enough, the car is now in our driveway. Everything, from the first email discussing a future purchase to the last sale paper being signed, was SEAMLESS. We were treated like we were purchasing a brand new vehicle off the showroom floor even though it was a used vehicle. Our children were spoiled by all the employees and even though we were there for 3-4 hours, it didn't feel like it. Jason Hensley in finance treated us like we were longtime friends and even fed our hungry kids crackers from his desk. I really don't have the words to express the gratitude and happiness we have from our experience with Bob Allen. We are definitely lifelong customers and will tell everyone about our experience (already have!) and hopefully bring more satisfied customers Bob Allen's way.

This is not our first car buying experience with Bob Allen. Since 2007, my husband and I have purchased all our vehicles from Bob Allen and every experience has been pleasant! Because we were treated with respect from the moment we came through the door, Brad Hewlett, and his father, Bob, earned our business and respect. My first vehicle, a 2007 Edge, was "totalled-out" in a fatality accident on an Oklahoma highway. After getting home, I contacted Brad and after expressing concern for our well-being, asked what could he do to help get us into a vehicle without any hassles. I picked out a 2008 Edge and we were in and out of the dealership in 90 minutes!In 2010, My husband traded in his 2005 Fusion for a 2010 Taurus and was, again, treated with the same, excellent customer service! The transaction was again a smooth one, again, hassle-free! And when our vehicle had not arrived when we were schedule to pick it up, we were supplied with a complimentary vehicle for the weekend! Although a new car purchase was not the original plan, when we went into Bob Allen on Friday, February 3rd, I am very pleased with end results! From the moment we decided to trade in our 2008 Edge and upgrade to a 2012 Edge, the entire staff went above and beyond to ensure we got the vehicle with the amenities I wanted and financing that fit our budget! I was in the market for a New 2012 Ford Explorer and I had some specific interior and exterior colors and options that I wanted. I was able to build a new Ford Explorer through the "Ford" website and it referred me to Bob Allen Ford. Chris Scudiero in internet sales with Bob Allen Ford contacted me to set up an appointment to view and test drive their vehicles. I noticed that their dealership had the most Ford Explorers on their lot to see but for one reason or another, they didn't quite have the colors and options I wanted. Chris however, was really listening to what I wanted and quickly had an idea. Within a few minutes, he came up with the vehicle I was looking for: it was sitting right on the unloading dock at the railroad station in KC! Chris told me if I wanted it, he would drive out to the railroad yard and pick it up for me to have it ready the next day. I decided I would like to purchase the vehicle and it didn't take long after that to come to an agreeable sales price that I thought was very reasonable. We completed the paperwork and Chris said he would have it ready when I got there next day. With the vehicle not being on the dealerships lot, I was a little sceptical that it would be ready by the next day. BUT LISTEN TO THIS: as I was driving out of the dealership parking lot that day, a vehicle transport full of new cars came driving up and I could see my new car on the transport being delivered to the dealership! I went home knowing it would be ready and just as Chris had promised, Bob Allen Ford had it all checked out, cleaned up and a full tank of gas in it by the time I got there the next day. The dealership delivery person completely went over all of the vehicle options and capabilities so I could understand how everything worked and then I drove away in my new 2012 Ford Explorer! Had purchased a Ford Explore there before in 1995 And my Husband is a Retired Ford Auto Worker in Claycomo Missouri. So there was no other reason not to return to Bob Allen. And the customer service is top notch. Kelly is customer serevice oriented. And so am I.

We had a great experience at Bob Allen Ford! From walking in the door, through the test drive and purchasing process, everything was professional and personal! Dale was very easy to work with as he was very honest through the whole process - this made my husband and I feel very comfortable with our "big" decision. Car buying can be very stressful and make you feel a lot of pressure when you are spending a lot of money. Not once did I feel pressured or uncomfortable. Dale and the management staff worked with us until we were completely happy. I appreciated the patience, integrity and whole experience of buying a car at Bob Allen. Three other things to note - they have a great rescue Dog that roams the showroom - you can tell the employees just love him. When we were waiting to go through the finance process at the very end of a long Saturday - we had two other employees come up to us and congratulate us on our new purchase. Lastly - the financial portion was so easy and the gentleman that we went through the financial process with with was awesome! He was funny and SO easy to work with. I would highly recommend Bob Allen Ford to any of my friends or family!

Extremely friendly, cheerful, helpful and professional staff and operation. As a sales person, I appreciated their non-pressure sales method. Kelly suggested I take the car home for night "to try it on". Good tactic. Now I look forward to coming back for regular oil changes and saying hello to my 'new' friends.

You want to talk about teamwork and satisfaction...these people were amazing! I felt so comfortable, and by the time we left I was educated on many questions I had about financing, the dealership, and about the owner of the dealership.
