I purchased a CPO 2011 Kia Rio 5 for my daughter who was going off to college. My wife and myself searched all over the internet and found this great price at Bob Bell on the CPO Kia Rio 5. We live in Virginia and drove to BobBell Baltimore to buy this car.We were all about the Certified Pre Owened for my daughter. I must have asked 10 times if it was a CPO CAR. I was told yes 10 times also.Needless to say 2 years later I find out through a Kia Dealer in Virginia that the Kia is not a CPO even though I have paperwork showing the 150 point inspection and signed by a Kia Certified Mechanic.Also a CPO BOOK welcoming me to the CPO club with a temporary I'd card and it says CPO on the sticker When I called BobBell Baltimore I was told that when I did not take the Exstended coverage I forfeited the CPO status. Talk about stunned, in shock.I was never told I was forfeiting the CPO and never told when Bob Bell sales person was selling it to me That I had to purchase Exstended warranty to keep the CPO Status.And most of all nowhere on my contract does it say I'm forfeiting CPO and my Sticker on my car says CPO. I don't even see anywhere on the contact that ISigned that I refused Exstended warranty.I have spoke to The GM, General Sales Manager,And Kia Corporate and nobody will help.I will never buy a car from any Bob Bell Dealerships and I recommend that if you do go there Buyer Beware Frank KasubaSterling Virginia

This is my second vehicle from Kia. Eastern avenue is the only Kia dealership I use. My first experience was wonderful and that was in 2013, January. My second experience was this past weekend on Saturday October 17th. My salesman was Mr. RICE. MR. RICE was exceptionally wonderful, kind and very pleasing. I had no intention of purchasing a new vehicle. I only went their to have my car serviced. Because he knew how to treat customers and catered to my financial needs I left their with a 2016 Kia Sorento. I am a pleased and very happy lifetime Kia customer.

We purchased our vehicle from John who was an all around awesome guy. Really went the extra mile to close the deal. After the purchase, we went back over to finance, the finance department tried to add a half percentage point to my loan and she was pretty sneaky about it. She seemed a bit upset when I called her out. Later my vehicle was in a serious accident, I had it towed to the dealership where I purchased it thinking it would be the best place to get it fixed. I was wrong! They did an OK job on the repairs, but the vehicle had to be brought back to have further corrections. While it was in the shop, I requested service (free oil change). When the vehicle was in the shop, one of the lot boys must have smashed it up against one of the yellow posts and damaged the entire passenger side. When this was pointed out, I was told that the damage was there when the vehicle arrived. I told them that it wasn't like that and they argued and were very nasty with us to the point of shouting. They were very defensive. I was even told by the gm that I would have to pay or take out another insurance claim and that I couldn't prove that the damage was done at the dealership. Luckily the insurance adjuster had pics of all sides of the vehicle and it showed no damage to that side and the pics were clearly taken at the collision center. They reluctantly fixed the vehicle, but never apologize for calling us dishonest and liars. As for the oil change... It was never done. 4 months later I took the vehicle in for service and a recall, I was told that my engine was full of sludge and that the engine was ruined and needed to be replaced. I was also informed that my warranty was void because of a lack of oil changes. The staff was very unfriendly and offered no assistance or solutions except to pay for a new engine. We had the vehicle towed out of there. It was looked over by a certified mechanic who is confident that the engine will be OK. What a mess! Some of the employees are very helpful, but there are some rude,defensive, dishonest people in management positions. In short...these people don't care, don't wanna help, don't communicate with each other and are generally not competent. Get your own financing, buy your car there,but dont come back for anything!

I was quoted a price by Nai Cooke in email. So I made appointment drove 2 hours to be told by the salesman that price is unreachable and that it was "just to get us in the door." The worst part is that the sales manager who quoted us wouldn't even show her face and talk to us because she knew that what she did was wrong. Then her excuse was that the deal ended on 2/18 which conviently was the day she emailed me the price but never told me the deal was ending after she knew I wasn't coming down till 3/01. This is fraud and false advertisement. Don't waste your time.

The most relaxed, non-pressure car sales experience of my life. Ed Purcell was a great Sales Consultant. Helen Silberman was very helpful with completing the financial paperwork. The Sales Manager, John Nyberg, was congenial and did everything he could to see that we were treated like VIP's. Everyone went out of their way to ensure that we had a pleasant experience. We believe that we got an excellent deal and got exactly what we were looking for in our trade in vehicle.And, we now have a beautiful new Kia Sorento. I highly recommend this dealership!

After my Kia broke down I had it towed here for service. After 3 days they were unable to identify the problem. I took it to my regular mechanic and after 30 minutes they were able to determine there was a service bulletin and all that was required was a PCM update only the dealership can do. I will never return here for service, sales, or anything else. If the dealership service dept. can't figure out the issue, there is a problem with the service dept.

Just purchased a new Kia Sorento at Bob Bell Kia. I had shopped at another dealership in the area on Friday 8/17 and returned on Monday 8/20 and spent a total of about 4 hours trying to purchase a new Kia. The selection and colors available at the other dealer were limited and they spent no time trying to find a color and the equipment we were looking for in the area, so we left very disapointed at the car shopping experience. We then went to Bob Bell Kia and met James Wayne ( our sales person ) and within an hour and a half had looked at, test drove, and purchased a 2013 Kia Sorento and were very pleased with Jim and the rest of the staff. He was very professional, knew his product well, knew what incentives were being offered by Kia, and arrived at a price we could agree on in very short order. I received the best service from my initial contact up to and including the actual purchase of my vehicle. The reps were very patient with me throughout the whole time. It took almost two months from my initial inquiry to the actual date of purchase and they were extremely patient, understanding and helpful the whole time. I received quotes from 4 other dealerships and Bob Bell's quote was the lowest. They offered to provide transportation for me to come in and pick up my car, and even directed me to the dealership when I got lost on the way. I have already recommended Bob Bell to everyone who would listen.

I was SOOOO very happy with everyone. I feel like a kid a Christmas. The Team we worked with was so very helpful and took care of everything in a very friendly and timely manner. They could not have been more pleasant to work with, it was a Great feeling to know that people still try to work with you and make things happen. The Salepeople are very informated and I hate to say Salesperson because they are not the typical, everyone was very FRIENDLY not pushy just wanted to help you (normal everyday people like you and me! I have told everyone how I would come back to Bob Bell in the future. When we purchased a truck for my husband years ago it was a big game 4 - 5 hours later we left with the truck. I told John that I still had to work in the evening, so everything from start (Test Driving) to finish took about one & half to two hour YEAH!!!! The finance person was very special (going above and beyond) calling bank making sure the deal was a very good one. Thanks so very much for everything

Other dealers were trying to sell me a car from their inventory. John Sandalis went out of his way to find me the car that I was looking for. He found probably the only 2013 on the East coast that met my needs. I had the car the next day. Everything was great dealing with Ed (salesman) agreed on price and finance plan. After meeting with Helen the finance director, terms changed. I would like to STRESS check your paper work meaning bottom line price and percentage rate. Finance Dept tried to rush paperwork through and had the wrong price or Apr in the dealers favor three times ;leads me to think it was not an accident. Only reason I stayed was because the salesman was a good guy and they had the exact car I wanted. NOTE: If the sales mgmt gives you a quote PLEASE get it in writing the finance Dept will try to take advantage. Be careful.

John was my original sales person when I visited Bob Bell back in September. I explained my situation and came back to the dealership after my vacation. At that time, John was with another customer, so Hank stepped in and let me test drive a couple of vehicles until John was free. Both men were friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. I was uncertain which vehicle to choose. John took into account my situation and suggested the Kia Soul. He was right. It was the perfect fit for me. At no time did I feel pressured to purchase. I was very pleased with the hassle free process and look forward to bringing my car to Bob Bell for the required service on my new Kia Soul. I have recommended this dealership and my sales person to others.

Bait and switch at its finest. After finding the car on autotrader I call Nailah to make sure they had the vehicle. I told her that I want to come down and do a quick sale if we can come to terms. I was planning on paying the price on the autotrader site. The night before I leave to drive an hour to the dealership I email to confirm the car is still there. She replies back that it is. I drive down first thing in the morning and sure enough they dont have it. They try to sell me a more expensive model and then Kevin admitts to me that the price on the website is after incentives etc (which no one can qualify for) and then says "normally the price is about $1,500 higher" What gets me is that I was lied to directly by Nailah. And the kicker is after I leave I get an email from Kevin saying thanks for coming down and at the bottom of the email is the ad for the car I came to buy, but they didnt have and at the price that you cant buy it. Real honest business people still got this car on the email even though it doesnt exsist. Nice job Bob Bell this is truely the most terrible experience I have ever had trying to buy a car!

I spoke with Dana and was told that they had the vehicle I was looking for and that they could match the USAA customer buying price. I drove one hour from my home to the dealership and when I got there I was told that there was a glitch in the system and they did not have the car. They could locate a vehicle but were $1,500 off of the price. I felt that I was lured there under false pretenses and after I wasted my time they would not give me the deal they promised. I went to Koons KIA on Reisterstown road and they found the car, and gave it to me for $150 under the price they had promised. I will never purchase a vehicle from any Bob Bell dealership because I felt I was deceived and they were unwilling to make it right.

I took my Pontiac Montana to them to get fixed and they had my van there over two months everytime I called there to find out if they fixed it yet they told me that they couldn't find the part n nobody in the United States had this part. When I finally got my van back they stole money I had hidden in my van the only thing they left was pennies. I would never ever go back to them. I dont recommend for anybody to deal with.

purchased a 2011 Kia Sorento from Bob Bell on 11/30/2010 and am extremely pleased with the experience. First, Bob Bell beat the next lowest price by $700, even though the other dealer "assured" me that it was probably a bait and switch because the price was so low. Bob Bell Sales Manager Corey Davis honored that low price he had quoted me on the phone, and even threw in some extras for free (cargo cover, net, etc.). Frankly, I found both Corey and my Sales Representative John Sandalis to be the friendliest and easiest to deal with out of the several dealerships I went to. It just seemed that they really valued my business and were genuinely honest (how nice!). Corey and John worked tirelessly to get me the exact vehicle I wanted (it had to be brought in from another dealer) and also gave me a good price on my trade-in. When it came time to finalize the deal, Finance Manager Bill Gonzalez offered me a good deal on an extended warranty - which I elected to go with. The next day, however, I decided I didn't need the extended warranty (based on how long I'm going to keep the vehicle, etc.). I had read on a few internet sites to expect a LOT of conflict canceling the extended warranty (since dealerships make money on them). However, Bill canceled the extended warranty happily and with no questions asked. How refreshing!In short, if you are looking to buy a Kia (or any other automobile model) I strongly encourage you to check out Bob Bell!!Joseph C. DiMaggio

Here's the deal. I wanted a certain color Kia Sedona 2011 basic package no extras. Nailah Cooke gave me a good price via phone and email and told me they had the van in that color there. I drove a great distance to purchase the van and I mean purchase the van, but low and behold it was not there. They tried selling me another more expensive van instead. I walked and on the way home I got a call to come back and buy the more expensive van at the predetermined price. I did not return. Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me!

Had horrible experience. Bought new car. Took over 6 hrs to do paperwork, etc. Felt rushed at the end. Salesman wanted to leave so pushed us out quickly after car was detailed. Put us in and said wanted to be sure we understood stereo, DVD, etc. Then didn't do full walk around because he was rushing us. Was told that the parts we still wanted (roof rack, trailer hitch,etc) would be put on in the future and he pushed us out. Got home did a walk around and found paint scratches and holes in the seat in the very back of the vehicle. Called back immediately upon discovery and was told by the general manager that these would be taken care of when other parts were installed. Took in for other parts to be installed and was told by the general manager that they wouldn't take care of problems because we drove off lot like that and they were all problem now. Realize we should have done walk around before leaving dealership, but after 6 hours with two children and being told to wait "just a bit longer" over and over and over we were tired as well. We kept saying we could come back in a week and get it when it was all ready to go, but they kept insisting we stay and take it right then. After all that and the bum's rush from the salesman at the end, we didn't do a walkaround and thorough inside inspection one last time before leaving the lot. We feel cheated and abused. Brand new $25K vehicle now ruined and we will have to pay thousands more to get fixes that were not our fault! Avoid this dealership at all costs!!!! Slightly better price does not make up for other problems down the road.

I was so eager with dealing with Bob Bell Chevrolet of Balrimore. I had talked to my sales person Dana who was very friendly and out going over the telephone. I had spoke to her several times in regards to a vehicle I had found there however I knew my credit was not the greatest so I told her up front there was no need to beat around the bush about it.She assured me that it was no problem what so ever and that she had just sold a car to someon who was worse off than me because not only did that person have a foreclosure she also had a bankruptcy. SO I felt confident and I gave her my social security number and my income information and my trade which was paid off. She had me on hold for a few minutes and then came back on and told me that I would be approved that her sales manager wanted me to come in and it wouldnt be a problem. So I agreed to go. I pulled up the map quest and it was 2 hours away from where I lived so I was a little worried that such a long drive would be a waste of my time. So the day before I go I email Dana and I tell her that I am a little concerned it is a long drive if I am not going to be able to get the vehicle that I want. She emails me back and tells me not to worry because she wouldn be wasting my time nor hers if I wasnt going to be able to get the vehivle that I wanted she assured me that I would be driving home in my new vehicle, that she was an honest person and that her dealership is not like other dealerships that they want to put people in vehicles. So not only do I drive there 2 hours away, I bring family with me who is looking for a new car and a new truck so we figured maybe we all could get a great deal since there was 3 of wanting to buy. We get to the dealership at 4:30 and meet with Dana who proceeds to tell us that she is having another sales person help us because she is the internet sales person and she has 9 people there already so she wouldn't be able to help all of them so it is the policy for us to work with a regular sales person. This is where John S. comes in. I no longer see Dana from that point on. So we look at the 3 vehicles that we are interested in John gives us the prices and of course we test drive all 3. John was very helpful and I really felt sorry for him he seemed to be doing all the work for Dana's sale. However Dana told us that if we came in we would have great rebates and incentives and that the price on the internet would be $3-4000 less than what was listed. WRONG that was not the case at all. The prices were as marked on the internet no reductions or incentives or anything. So I am dealing with John and he takes all the information that Dana did and comes back to me and say I am sorry but we dont have a bank answering us for you so we cant give you an answer. So I proceed to tell him that it must be a mistake because Dana told me everything was good to go and that I was already approved. Wrong again that was just what I was told to get me in there, they explain to me that was just a pre approval. Pre approveal for what??? For me to drive 2 hours for nothing. So the rest of my part who didnt speak with Dana goes and does their credit application and are told well it has a question mark so we have to speak to a bank rep who isnt in right now but you can come back on Monday if you want. While I had been humiliated enough by being told I would not be financed I am waiting for the rest of my party to finish up my wonderful sales person Dana walks in the door laughing and with food & drinks in hand with another sales person. So obviously this is why she was too busy to deal with any of the customers she had come in. So John comes over to me and tells me that Dana was being dealt with in regards to my situation. Well big deal. She then comes over to me which I assume to apologize however I stop her and just tell her dont say anything to me. I do not need half ass apologies that are worthless. The sales manager didnt even have the nerve to come over and apologize on her behalf for me not only driving 2 hours, $6.50 in bridge tolls and a full tank of gas all wasted. I will never ever forget how horrible my experience was with this dealership. I would not return to this dealership if they called me up and said they would give it to me for free!

This place is unbelievable! We bought 4 vehicles in one month back in January 2000. My wife bought a focus and has had nothing but real problems with this car since she has had it. At first the dealer was helpfull with her problems, but over time that help wained. Her service advisor who was always very helpful is now gone and with her car in there again for a very serious problem she is being handled like a stranger. This dealer has had tremendous turnover over the past few years and it has shown not to be for the better(as far as the service dept.is concerned). I can't speak for the sales department, you sell a million cars for a good price but if you can't SERVICE the customer as well as the car, you have a problem. I hope you avoid this place like the plague until they work out there problems. I will give you an update on how our problem is resolved to let you know if they improved their SERVICE!!
