Brook the service lady had a very extensive mechanical aptitude, almost engineer like. All customer representatives were welcoming and friendly. And to see the shop Forman engaged with customers served as a lasting experience. And the young man at the end of the day, he was outstanding. The moment I entered he asked was I being helped, then he escorted me to the cage, retrieved my vehicle and with a pep in his step. I really liked that kind of service! Left my first review but I have changed my opinion about the staff here. Bought a used vehicle for my son (starting drivers training) and had a weird feeling about the brakes, kinda squishy. Was told the back needed done and they would do it, but the fronts were checked and in good shape. Drove it for a couple weeks and decided to have a look myself (see pics). Pads and rotors were horrible, glad I didn't let the kid drive off in it. Just wondering if the sales guy was a complete liar or their service techs are idiots. Not sure yet but I replaced and it stops on a dime. Lost any and all future business over a 30 minute brake job with a family of 4 drivers. Never again. This was my first after a few visits: Always courteous, polite, and knowledgeable. One dealership I can always go to and not feel pressured or pushed into something. Great staff!

Went to the parts department for a clip for my 2012 Dodge Charger had the VIN number and a picture of what was needed. The service clerk looked up the VIN number and sold me a a bolt that was the wrong part for the car. I had to go to the sales department have them take me to a car on the lot showed me the part took me back downstairs to the parts department so I could purchase a dollar clip. A total waste of my time and terrible customer service. I would not recommend this parts department.

I had the best experience buying my new Jeep Cherokee. I stopped in on my lunch hour on a Thursday and I told the sales manager Jack Bowshier what I was looking for (which was very very specific). Jack took my specs and found EXACTLY what I was looking for. I went back after work and Scott Lee and I went for a test drive in a similar vehicle. Scott is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I gave Jack the OK to order the Cherokee he found and by Saturday afternoon it arrived at the dealership. I went in on Sunday and completed the paperwork (which was easy even though you sign a ton). Scott then took me out to the car and went over everything with me in great detail and paired my phone up with the infotainment system, THIS WAS GREAT. I felt comfortable with my new car instead of having to figure things out on my own. Working with Jack and Scott was great, they helped me find exactly what I was looking for, very friendly and personable and made it a pleasant experience. Thanks a ton !!!

NICK DOLDER (Body Shop Manager) is God sent!!I recently was in a car accident. The other driver was at fault. I purchased a 2011 ford ranger from bobcaldwell 5 months ago and have had front suspension problems since I bought it. The truck has been in their service department 3 times for this, 2 of the 3 times I was told they couldn't find anything wrong. The 3rd time they said that they found that the upper passenger side ball joint was bad and they replaced it. I use to be a mechanic and in my experience if 1 ball joint is bad then the others will follow shortly. 5 months later the rest of them are shot and the truck is unsafe to drive. 600$ is the repair bill to replace the other 3 ball joints and alignment. The truck came with a 3 month 3000 mile warrenty through them, of course now it's out of warranty. I drive the truck a total of 20 miles a day and it has less then 2000 miles then it had when I bought it, unacceptable! If the ball joints are bad now, they were bad then and they didn't want to put the money into it. Their people are nice and friendly but their service sucks. I also have a 2010 jeep wrangler that I had taken to them for service for starting issues,door lock issues and tpms issues. They wanted to charge me over 400$ to replace the driver side door latch and said they couldn't find any other problems with the jeep, I declined the service. I took the jeep to another mechanic and was told that the door latch problem was a bad connection in the harness ( The mechanic unplugged the harness, cleaned the terminals and plugged it back in and it now works fine). The starting problems was caused by the gear shifter cable, it needed to be readjusted and it had a bad tpms sensor. I was charged 270$ at bob caldwell for nothing and had to pay anot her mechanic 400$ to fix everything. I'll never buy or take another vehicle to them for service!

I called first to confirm that the car was available and went in and they were all ready for my test drive. Only downfall was We were told 30 minutes from when we sat down at the sales reps desk post-test drive and it took about 2.5 Hours from when we arrived to test drive and sign the paperwork. They should be up front about this once you say you're buying the car. This led my husband to be significantly late to work.

We got there a little early for our appointment, just to look around, but once we got with our salesman, Scott Lee, and test drove, did the paperwork, and the very, very little negotiating, we were out of there in 2 hours with our new Jeep Wrangler. Scott Lee even came in on his day off to help us with our purchase. I will 100% go back to this dealership for my new car in a couple of months. Every person we saw inside the dealership was friendly and greeted us, I didn't feel any pressure at all, nor did I feel like I was being scammed like you can feel at other dealers. We had some credit problems in the past and had claimed bankruptcy only a year ago. Let me start by saying that when I took my car in to address a recall, Franklin, my service advisor, was very courteous and professional. I was also speaking with Shannon, a sales consultant, who was also very attentive when my family and I went in to see different vehicles. We ultimately decided to go with a Lexus RX instead of the Jeep Grand Cherokee because of the poor level of service we received from the actual technicians and the poor quality of the Dodge Chrysler brand. We also felt that the MSRP on the vehicle was too much in comparison for the product you were getting in return. $42K for a Jeep Grand Cherokee or $52, for a Lexus RX fully loaded. It was a no brainer.Now the reason for my rating...The GM Justin Hamon has been asking customers to "give them a chance" or try to resolve issues with them directly before going public with online reviews and such. I tried that and got nowhere. After taking my car to their shop for a recall, (not because anything was wrong with my vehicle), Franklin came back with some suggested additional services. I agreed and paid $400.00 for those services. As soon as I got my car back and drove off, it wasn't even a quarter mile before my car shut off on me. I immediately called the shop and they stated that that issue wasn't normal and if it continued, to take my car back. I waited two weeks and the issue continued. I then took my car back to have them address the issue and they had the audacity to charge me to correct the issue. Then they came back and said that they would give me an in store credit of the initial $400 that I paid to correct the problem that they were charging me $1,000 for. I refused and asked for a refund. They denied my initial request. I then said that I would prefer to resolve the issue there, and if not, I would go to the Better Business Bureua and express my concerns there. The service manager then said he would give me $160 credit in the form of a check, and that I would receive it in about a week with the condition that I drop the issue and not contact the BBB. Two weeks passed and I got nothing in the mail. It was not till then that I decided to complain to the BBB. Surely, when I got to the BBB website, out of 20 complaints filed against the dealer, 18 of them was for "product/service". If you go back and read the reviews, you'll find a common trend that consumers feel they are being scammed by this dealer. I would rather buy the original parts and take them to a third party mechanic to address the issue since the exaggerated amount of money you pay to the dealership won't even guarantee any service. Not to mention, the "word" of the management team is worth absolutely nothing!!!

When you take your vehicle to the dealership you expect them to have the right mechanics and the proper equipment to be able to find the problem your vehicle very easily especially if you already had narrowed it down for them. I went to three shops to check out pricing and how long it would take to do repairs on my jeep coolant system and all guaranteed same day repairs at a couple hundred dollars lower pricing but of course I wanted dealer parts but just wanted to see what the main differences were between the competitions.To start off I bring my jeep in at around 8 a.m. on 04/14/2016 and was told it would be around noon before they knew exactly what was wrong and the service advisor asked did I have a ride and I did say I could have someone pick me up but I couldn't get a hold of him so I sat around till noon but they never even had started on the truck and I was seeing people offered shuttle rides and rentals. So by 1 o'clock I asked another service advisor about the shuttle and they were able to get me one to go home. This is on a Friday. I get a call before they closed saying they wouldn't be able to get finished in time so it would be sometime Saturday morning before they could finish. I already by then had rented a vehicle myself around 3 p.m. Saturday they call me saying they weren't able to finish my jeep and it would be Monday morning before they could finish. Ooookay. So that's 3 days of rental fees so far. Monday 04/18/2016 comes around and they don't finish until closing time and the rental had to be back by 3 p.m. so that was an extra charge for being late.So I have someone take me to pick my jeep up and I drive it around trying to finish some errands not noticing they didn't actually fix it and my coolant reservoir level was low. I run out of town a lot so my vehicle was parked Tuesday till the 04/28/2016. So when I get back I check under the hood to pre trip my jeep like I always do every week that goes by and noticed that the coolant reservoir is bone dry. This is around 11 a.m 04/28/2016 so I take it straight up to the dealership and they run a check on it which takes all day and I still have to wait the following day to find out that the water pump is going bad so they do the repairs. Had I not pre trip my jeep I could have ran around and blew up my engine running hot. The charges were phenomenal. For a fuel cap I was charged $24 with a pressure test of $101.70 but oh wait other shops that I went to automatically perform pressure testing so why did they charge me to do a pressure test twice? Doesn't make sense. I didn't receive any discounts for the rental. They said their mechanic didn't really mess up but if you really performed a pressure test the first two times charging me twice then how come the water pump failure wasn't caught then? I was charged for a drive fan which didn't need to be replaced unless it's damaged which it wasn't but they decided to switch it out anyways. I've always said never take your vehicle to the dealership because they will double charge you and repair things not necessarily needing replaced. I will see if I can talk to a investigative reporter and attorney about the double charges and Mopar part charges I found online way cheaper. If you are a dealership why would I be able to get your part for cheaper? SMH I was also told they knocked off the second labor charge per service manager like I was getting a favor done. Oh really? Charge me twice for coolant.. Had you fixed it right the first time that would have not been necessary. Don't let me get started on the ignition switch replacement.. Looks like a rookie job. Looks unprofessional and they leave grease in your car to clean up. For the price they charge can you keep my vehicle clean? SMHTotal charges for a coolant fix and other charges 1676.73 never again will I have them work on my vehicle and I suggest anyone else to steer clear.

I purchased a 2014 Challenger R/T Plus Redline in April of 15. My salesman is not there anymore, but I got a good deal and I work with Justin Green on service. He is great. I also met Shane and Brad, service managers. Both fine guys. I had a 70 Challenger and would get parts a lot at your store. So I already knew of Caldwell's reputation. Keep up your high standards. Not common these days. Lots of FCA dealers are not getting the job done.

My family had been using Bob Caldwell for years. Very reputable and reliable dealership. Sales and service can't be beat. However, the last time I went to Caldwell, it was a VERY unpleasant experience. As soon as I walked onto the lot I was greeted with attitude by salesman named CJ. He was very impatient and did not want to show me any vehicles, but I figured maybe he was just having a bad day so I didn't take it personal. Once I found a vehicle, he became very aggressive and very pushy. He kept looking at the time and was telling me that I needed to hurry up and make a decision on if i wanted the vehicle or not because he has things to do. He was constantly huffing and puffing and did not value me AT ALL as a client. Once we went inside, the insults continued. He tried several times to steer me towards another vehicle because for some reason he didn't think I could afford the vehicle I was getting ready to purchase (until he found out where I worked and how much I made - attitude seemed to change a little after that). Again, because we have been using Caldwell for years, I decided to go ahead and just purchase the vehicle. Overall, I'd recommend Caldwell because they are a great dealership otherwise we wouldn't still be purchasing vehicles from here after several years. Guess this time I just happened to get the bad apple out of the bunch...

I did not purchase a vehicle from this dealer but I was present during the whole process of my girlfriend purchasing one. She had a 2011 Jeep that had very few miles on it but just wanted to trade in to upgrade to the newest version before she had to start worrying about any maintenance on her current Jeep. At first everything was fine the car salesman was very on top of things and contacted her quickly to come in and get a new vehicle. Of course the process took a little while as usual and yes he wanted to hassle a little more than most salesman but that's not the issue. After she signed the paperwork on a mediocre deal things started to become clear this dealership was not as it appeared. While we waited about a half hour for someone to take the new jeep literally across the street to fill up the tank. The salesman who had just sold us the car told us his techniques to trick people in to thinking they got a great deal as if he were teaching a coworker. A few days later my girlfriend realized the license plates that were put on to the vehicle were the ones from her old jeep. She tried to contact the salesman for the next week with no response. Finally she got a hold of someone who told her she had to come back to the dealership and they would take her old tags to give her a temporary one. After that was settled a couple weeks later she noticed a plastic pin was missing from the rear wheel well and her brakes had been squeaking as well so she decided to give the salesman a call only to find out he was no longer employed there. After a couple weeks of calling and emailing the dealership she was able to get a hold of a girl who said sure we can make an appointment for you to get that taken care of. When she went in to get it serviced they told her she did not have an appointment and the only way they service them is with a scheduled appointment. She took her phone out and showed them the message. They said they would look at it after seeing the message. Two hours later they were closing so told her they would get her a rental and she could come drop the rental off the next day to pick up her jeep. She told them she was done with them and would not do it so the manager said they would get her a rental and bring her jeep to her work the next day to which she said was their last chance. About a half an hour later an employee shows up from the rental agency and says she can ride back with him to the rental branch where she can fill out the paperwork. Already having been pushed around and going out of her way to deal with the inconvenience of this dealership she told them to just give her her car back. A worker from the body shop eventually pulled her car back around in his oil covered work clothes with no seat protector. He then proceeded to hand her the keys with a look of disgust, huffing and puffing, as if she was inconveniencing him. They sincerely made her feel horrible to the point of tears. After having to deal with employees having no idea how to get their job right, going out of her way to get their mistakes fixed, and being treated with no respect, they still did not get her issues resolved. This dealership is truly unprofessional, does not value their customers and lacks any form of integrity. I would strongly suggest not buying a vehicle from this dealer. If I truly did not feel this way, I would not have taken the time to write this long review. We will certainly never visit them again.

When talking with the dealership, we discussed the the price of the new vehicle, the trade-in I had and what I could except as the settled price when coming in. just purchased a 2016 dodge caravan from this dealership. I arrived knowing exactly which vehicle I wanted based on their website. I was able to pick which vehicle options I wanted and knew which one before I arrived. I didn't have to waste my time or the salesman's time by looking at multiple vans. Scott Lee was very helpful, the purchase was quick and pain free. The price was what I expected and what was advertised. Lower than other dealers I looked into....again, 100% on the internet. bottom line, I showed up knowing which van I wanted, Scott took me directly to it, we drove it, it was what I wanted, we agreed on a price, went to the finance office, they offered different extra warranty options, I said no, they said OK, signed the papers, Scott showed me how to do a few things on the van, I was gone in about an hour. In other words, the almost perfect vehicle purchase. The only way to make it better would be to get this to a 15 minute transaction ( just kidding) and get Scott a window shade so the sun doesn't blind him and his customer.!! (not kidding) the only complaint is that Scott wouldn't let me drive his golf cart around the dealer lot.....probably a good call on his part.

The buying process received 3 stars because a couple days later I received a call stating that finance messed up on the rate I agreed to. It wasn't a major difference but I feel that I agreed to something and later they should not be able to change it. I was very disappointed in this. This was not something caused by Scott but by the finance department. I would recommend Scott Lee to anyone and will return in the future.

I was referred to this dealership thru cars.com when I was looking for a Jeep Liberty or Grand Cherokee. I immediately got the standard form email saying someone would be in touch with me. Needless to say, the process & customer service after that was horrible. The salesman never actually called me, he only communicated with me by email (which were hit & miss at best). He was very rude when I told him I was only interested in certain models & a 4x4, as he was trying to push other models on me. I politely told him thanks for the time he put in but I wouldn't be needing his services. Then a day or so later I get another email apologizing if I thought he was rude, but he thought he could still help if I was willing to compromise a bit. I looked over their site & I did decide to look into another model. Unfortunately, I emailed him back telling him this & to see what he could work out for me... I never heard from him again in 3-5 days & I ended up buying from another dealer. WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME!

I have been having my Chrysler vehicles serviced by Bob Caldwell for over 2 years. I always work with Lenny, Todd, and Shane. If the vehicle needs to stay overnight to diagnose an issue or for repairs, I am always updated with a status. Shane (Service Manager) is always available to answer questions and take phone calls. When I arrive, I am always greeted by the friendly staff. Todd is also available to answer questions, should I need an in-depth explanation of a problem or repair. The team always has and continues to do a great job. I would highly recommend for all service needs.

2 recalls were performed, all recommended performance services were done at proper milage interval. Service Advisor Mark Cornell was able to factor these all together and I will go back to Mark as I did only two days later for another vehicle of ours. 7 paid services for $1000. 2 free 25 point inspections, and 2 Safety Recalls for free. I've decided to go to the Express Lube now all the time again. Please continue to keep the cars cleaned up of fingerprints as kept clean in the past. Service is so important for me. I spend plenty in Service to justify keeping middle age cars like mine operable! I like Caldwell's new stripped down versions they make available along with new premium packages for the status minded. Chrysler is well here.

This was 5 starts but I had to take a start away due to recent events. I work midnights and sleep during the day. I was awaken by Bob Caldwell Automotive blowing up my phone during the day. They called to inform me that my funding for my new car was in jeopardy because I needed to provide proof of residency. I had just moved to a new place and explained to Bob Caldwell that I did not have anything yet with my new address but it's like they aren't listening to me. I arranged to meet with CJ Harris on the purchase of a new 2015 wrangler. He was fully prepared when I arrived so we were able to start the process right away. He was very knowledgeable on each of the Jeep wrangler models and without steering me towards any particular one he was able to share pros and cons with each after understanding my plans for use of the vehicle and planned duration of ownership. After a couple of hours of test driving different jeeps we worked up a couple of options and I comfortably left the dealership without finalizing my decision or feeling pressured. I called CJ the following morning and told him that I had made a decision. After a very brief discussion and finalizing the numbers I arranged a time to meet him to complete the paperwork. Upon returning, he was prepared with the paperwork and we quickly wrapped up the deal and I was on my way in about 30 mins. It was a no hassle experience and the team was courteous, professional, and quick!

I have not always had great luck at Caldwell, but it looks like they are making some very positive changes. We went looking for a used car we saw online. Scott Jones met us in the parking lot and was very friendly to all of us and asked the right questions of what we were looking for. When the car we saw online was not available, he told us about a similar car which was newer and had better mileage. While it was a little more expensive, we drove it and loved it. His sales manager helped with the online price a little bit and we were out of there driving our new car in less than 20 minutes. An all time record of car buying for me. Scott even called the next day to make sure all was going well with our new ride. Great experience and I highly recommend Bob Caldwell dealership and especially Scott Jones as a great sales rep.

I was in the market for an SUV and I found mine at Bob Caldwell's. I searched on line with several dealerships and got the best response from Justin Fraley of Bob Caldwell's. I ended up purchasing a Jeep Cherokee Limited and Justin was great in letting me test drive several to help me in making my decision. Once my decision was made Joe Reichley was also great in working up some numbers to help in my decision too. I test drove, made my decision and drove my new Cherokee home in the same day. I would like to thank both Justin and Joe with working with me in coming to a decision. I would also like to say that Scott was also a contributing factor in me coming into Bob Caldwell's. I had stopped one evening just to look at some Jeeps and I thought the dealership was closed but out came Scott to introduce himself. Scott was very polite and patient in showing me some Cherokees and providing some useful information. It was all a very nice experience.

From the moment I pulled into Bob Caldwell, Mine and my wifes experience was stellar. I wasn't approached by an aggressive, over bearing salesman; but instead by a lady salesman. She introduced her self as Tobie and we began to talk about the wranglers I had been looking at. Her approach was professional and calming. I say calming because I was nervous. This was a huge purchase for me. She was knowledgeable about the Wrangler Sport unlimited but when she was unsure of an answer she asked another one of the salesman and he came and talked to me in a very pleasant and friendly manner. When it came time to talk numbers I spoke with a manager named Jack. I have never been so pleased with a group of people and as I have been with the people who work here. I would recommend you buy a car from here. I will buying all of my cars here, especially from Tobie. She was wonderful.

Caleb explained pricing for the synthetic blend oil change services available at Caldwell. I will be getting my next oil change at this dealer utilizing their express lane program.

I had to bring my van in for a recall and while I was there I had my oil changed. They were very accommodating to schedule me in early and my vehicle was done quickly. They also gave me this really cool print out of an inspection that they did. The best part was they did not try to sell me anything I did not need. Totally trust them and will definitely be back. I purchased a vehicle December 2014, I was shown a carfax report, test drove the vehicle, everything seemed to be in order, I was happy to find out that I had been approved to purchase the vehicle and the paperwork was started. It was an As-is sale, before being handed my keys I was informed by the sale consultant that service found a brake line that needed to be replaced before giving me the vehicle, so I waited until everything was in order and drove my car home, not even 2 weeks later my brake light pops on and I e-mailed the sale consultant being worried if the new brake line that was installed wasn't installed properly, he told me that the service man wanted me to bring the vehicle back to get looked at and I did, I was later informed that my calipers were leaking brake fluid and that they were going to get my brake system in order but i'd have to wait another day because they needed to order a part, I was not charged for the service they provided me and was handed my keys, almost 2 months later on my way to work my brakes failed completely, and thank goodness there wasn't a car in front of me because I could've been seriously hurt or worse. With my hazards I brought my car back to Bob Caldwell and they informed me that a brake lines needed to be replaced,they made it sound so simple and wanted to charge me $400 for labor, I didn't have that much money so i sent it over to another mechanic across the street that would do it for more of my price range and come to find out after they showed me the more in depth actual damage my brake lines were severely corroded, I texted the salesman who sold the car to me and he tried to make it sound like the current winter season was able cause all of the corrosion, as much corrosion is on my vehicle it was not developed from just one winter season and was failed to be brought to my attention before being sold the vehicle and both times my vehicle was serviced after going through my paper work, the carfax information that was first shown to me didn't match the car that was sold to me, so I was told about great quality of one car and got sold another. If you value your wallet let alone your life, I would not recommend getting any service from this dealership!

My experience is that this Caldwell dealership has a deeply ingrained, dishonest sales protocol.The Caldwell sales staff will "test the waters" to see just how much money they can max out from you.At first they tried to low-ball my trade in.Then the sales staff presented financial illustrations which, oops, accidently left off the rebate.Further, a ridiculous "Invoice" was presented to me which contained a meager $1,400 difference from the MSRP. The salesman said, I kid you not, "We'll make zip, nada, nothing on this".Buyer beware.

I just want to say that this dealership was nice to me until I didn't purchase a vehicle from them that was out of my price range. The sales man that worked with me really took it personal and basically had a temper tantrum and refused to work with me afterwards on any other vehicles.I reintegrated to them multiple times that I had a tight specific budget that I needed to stick to and they kept presenting me with cars that were over my budget. Mind you I didn't mind paying a little over my budget but not several thousand dollars.Nevertheless, it's fine because thank God there are other dealerships all over America that I can chose and buy from which is exactly what I did!!! Driving happy now.

I purchased a 2014 Chrysler 200 Jan last year. The main reason I went with this company is because the salesmen reasurred me that they'd take care of my vehicle if anything ever went wrong. They even talked to me into purchasing 2 types of protection & spoke well of their service department. I learned weeks later that once the car is sold, you no longer can count on the salespersons word to be valid. The dash of my vehicle went out, I reported it and even made an appt. Once I arrived, I learned the lady never put my appt down, it was unfortunate being that I took the day off. I contacted the GM, who came to the car and said if its working now theres nothing we can do. He then got in my car flipped the blinker & told me I was fine, only come back if it does it again. I thought this was strange that they didnt try to check for any shortage or anything..I mean my blinkers and wipers had went out! The next incident involved a Saturday appt, after an hour the original lad who failed to record my appt comes out and asked if they could take me home because it would be a few hours and the suspension mechanic had a lot of cars to work on. Again I find this strange, being that I had an appointment. i declined and decided to sit and wait, after 2 more hours, she comes back and says she didnt find anything. Basically said they didnt hear the sound I reported, nor was there any pulling while driving. She however said they wanted me to bring my car back so that the main suspension guy could look at the car. She started getting frustrated with me when I asked about the warranties I purchased, she acted as if she knew nothing about them. In one instance, she ignored me completely. She essentially told me it would be $98 for this other guy to look at my car. I get in my car to leave & sure enough there is a sound. I went back that Saturday to have the manager of the shop ride and listen to the sound. He says, I hear the sound but its not the sound our guy would be listening for... instead of fixing the issue with my car, they again tried to blow me off. Ive read other reviews & realize the service center is really good for that. They didn't even attempt to fix the problem, even after recognizing there was an issue. I wouldn't recommend this dealership because if something goes wrong, they will not try to help. Ive called about this issue, one person took my information and agreed to call back...it's been a week! Dont be fooled by the sales pitch, there's no integrity in the way they run this place. Im very disappointed because I had faith in this company, thats why I purchased the car from that lot. They attempted to tell me anything about my car because they assumed i didnt know any better. shame on you!

Though I purchased my Jeep Patriot (mid-2012) at another dealer, Bob Caldwell's service department has maintained the car perfectly. Going in for service is generally a painless experience. I have been fortunate enough to have Ms. Funk write my service order and she is able to accurately describe the service(s) needed, to give an accurate time frame required to perform the service, to review what service was performed and why, and when I am not able to wait at the dealership, she arranges for a shuttle-ride. Prices seem to be reasonable and I have always been pleased with the service/repair. I plan to purchase my next car her and to have all service performed here.

I couldn't be happier with my recent experience with Bob Caldwell! I had a busy week of course when my check engine light came on (never a good time I suppose!). Mark (my service guy) answered the phone quickly, conducted himself professionally, and was a pleasure to work with. He was able to get my car in immediately and diagnosed the issue within just a few hours. He walked me through the issue, pricing, etc.- made it easy for a non-car person to understand. He also suggested a few items I needed to take care of such as new breaks and tires. About a year ago, the dealership had recommended I put getting new breaks on the to do list in the near future during my 90,000 mile tune-up (not needed at the time, but soon)...of course I forgot. So glad he reminded me! I really felt like Mark and his team had my best interest in mind. I LOVE my 2006 Jeep and want to keep her going for a few more years. I have taken it to Bob Caldwell several times for tune ups and repairs while living here in Columbus - always a great experience and superior customer service. My first experience was when my battery died at the airport and I had to get a tow. I was new to the city, had a newborn baby in the back and it was winter. I asked the tow truck driver where I should take it and he recommended Bob Caldwell (he said "Everyone knows Bob Caldwell here in Columbus. Great dealership, you'll like them."). He was right! I love them so much I referred my mom to them and she bought a new car from them last year! Obviously, I highly recommend Bob Caldwell for repairs, sales, and general car maintenance. They Rock!

I've been a crysler customer for over 5 years never had any problems going to the dealer, I took my 2007 Jeep Liberty to this dealer, informed them of a small leak on the ground, they misdiagnosed my car and I paid $250 for a transmission seal repair I didn't even need, and the car was still leaking where I had informed them before, after a month of me continuing to complain about the leak and taking time out of my busy schedule to keep going there, they then tell me Oh it's your water pump, that's been leaking all this time, and you wouldn't have seen a leak on the ground from the transmission seal, but we can fix that for your for an additional $600.00. WHAT!?they didn't even try to make it right from the previous misstake, all they kept saying was, well you needed the transmission seal fixed too. Now tell me, why would I believe what I paid $250 for a legitimate problem, if they couldn't even find a water pump leak for a MONTH!!! which by the way sits directly in the front of my car, with nothing blocking it and they couldn't see the leak, but found a transmission seal leak REALLY!!!, Yes I admit, they got me, but fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. WARNING!!!! DON'T GO TO THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!!

My experience is with the body shop. After being the victim of a hit and run involving my two month old vehicle, a friend referred me to the body shop at Bob Caldwell. I was a little skeptical since I drive a Chevrolet Equinox. My friend assured me that the body shop was equipped to handle all makes and models. Well....my friend was right. She did in fact know the best body shop in the city of Columbus. My husband and I were extremely pleased with the results of our repair. In fact, I come from a "car family" and they all said, "I thought you had to have body work on your car." They could not believe the quality work . I am convinced that I too now know the best body shop in Columbus and tell all of my friends the same. I would recommend Bob Caldwell's body shop and Ike Eversole and his team to anyone finding themselves in need of car repairs after being in an accident.

I called and emailed making sure the car I wanted was available at the price posted. Several days later a salesman called saying he would have to talk with the owner of the car who was the grandson of the real owner of the car. That person disclosed damages not noted in the sales presentation. I decided to purchase the car and it was sold before I was able to recontact the salesman ... who did not respond which cost me the purchase of this car. I emailed numerous times never to be contacted back presuming the car was sold. I will not go back to the dealership nor do I fully trust "Cars.com" because of this experience. Brad Chase

Scott Carson is a great guy. Work with him if you have to buy there. Managers are either gruff and mean or nice and dishonest. We made a deal over the phone with Joe and when we would buy anew lease from him he denied he even made it. They record their phone calls sowe wanted him to play it in front of us and his general manager. He then admitted to the deal and refused to honor it right before he hung up on us. The other manager was yelling at me about my trade wondering why i didn't spend 1500 dollars to fix the rust. If it did that why would i want a new vehicle. These guys are idiots. Again work with Scott Carson if you have to go.

I was looking to buy a used car that got better gas mileage than my suv did to drive back and forth to work. I stopped by this dealership and Duane greeted me when i got there. I explained what i was looking for and he showed my several cars in my price range. I was very surprised at how many cars they had in my price range. All of the cars were very clean and i was impressed with his professionalism. Once i had my choices down to 2 or 3 cars we went for test drives and i choose the car i liked. The paperwork and everything was a very smooth process and i was out the door in no time. I have had no problems with the car at all and it is saving me alot of gas money. I really like this dealership and recommend stopping buy if you are looking to buy a new or used car. I know i will be back.

My check engine light came on in my car and a friend said this dealership does good work. I made a appointment and took the car in for service, they told me what the check engine light was and how much it would be to fix the problem. I was talking to Duane and mentioned i was looking to get new tires. He said they could take care of that at the dealership while they were fixing the car. He made a couple phone calls and when he gave me the price for the new tires it was over a hundred dollars cheaper than any place i had got a quote from. I was very satisfied with the service performed on my car and it was great to drive out of there with new tires and over a hundred dollars in my pocket i would have spent to get tires someplace else. I highly recommend this dealership to everyone and when i get ready to buy a new car this is the first place i will stop. 5 Stars all the way around for this dealership.

I actually have them change the oil on my wifes elemen t( don't trust the local Honda dealer). The body shop is great they know how to fix the wrecks no mater what brand. On 11/29/12 I bought a certified preowened suv was able to drive it for in total two weeks ithas been in their service center every week since i've owened from four wheel drive ,water leaks shutsoff while driving loss of lug nuts etc. My finale straw came when after i picked up my suv on friday and by sunday it stalls out and the.check engine light comes back on for the forth time when they ran the dye on it over a page and a half of codes came up instead of fixing them they cleared them and guess what they came back. Before the first payment i asked for a.refund and they said no still under warranty. 1/23/13 guess what suv still at dealer . Told me they dont want to start throwing parts on it because it could throw off other parts. Ive had to hire an a attorney to sue them for my money back. In 1994 I purchased a 1993 New Yorker from Caldwell (Duane Dumas who is now general manager handled the transaction). The car now has 180,000 miles on it and it still runs great. Have never had a major problem with the car.In 2005 I purchased a 2004 Sebring from Mr. Dumas. The car now has 75,000 miles on it and as with the New Yorker, it runs great. Most recently I thought the Sebring had developed a transmission problem. I called Caldwell and discussed the symtoms with Mr. Dumas and his transmission specialist. They thought the transmission maybe needed repairs based upon my description of the symptoms. They actually ordered the repair parts. I travelled to Columbus to have the work done. After a test drive with the transmission specialist he determined the car was not in need of repair. They did not charge me for the parts or a complete examination of the car and its systems. I could not be more satisfied with the the cars I have purchased or the quality of service I have received from Caldwell. The staff has always been knowledgeable and professional whether it be sales or service. Even though I live in the Chicago area I will continue to purchase my cars from Caldwell very simply because "I trust them".

No Integrity! Originally I was told they have a 118 point inspection on their used cars. After buying a 2yr old car from them, a thousand miles later I noticed it was eating through the front tires due to bad struts. Called Doug, the sales manager, about the problem. He told me they only inspect the frame and brakes. It went from a 118 point inspection to a 2 point inspection. Refusing to make things right, they lost my respect and business. Do not buy a used car from them!

So far this "SERVICE" department has had my car for over a week. I called their service department on a Monday night when it wouldn't go into reverse. They had me try several things and when that didn't work, recommended that I have it towed in to their shop. They gave me a local tow guy that they have used to contact. I assumed that all we be handled accordingly and I would receive a call the next day. When that didn't happen, I called them Wednesday afternoon. They told me that they had not brought it in to look at but see that it was in there for a gear issue and a flat tire. "FLAT TIRE"??? When I left it, there wasn't a flat tire. He then mentioned that the tow truck driver (which was the owner)had left a note that he would pay for any damages that were a result of the tow. They said then that they would have it in on Thursday. When i didn't here from them on Thursday I called on Friday morning. It was a gear box that needed replaced. Shawn then recommended a couple of other things that needed done and I agreed. He said it would be done later that evening and they would call. Guess what "NO CALL" - I call Saturday - should be done later that day. Guess what "NO CALL". I call Monday - the mechanic working on my car called off sick - the guy that answered said I'll get back with you today and let you know whats going on. Guess what "NO CALL".It's Tuesday morning (a week and a day later) and guess what, "NO CALL", no nothing. Went in "just to look" with no intention to buy that day. Susan Goodman greeted us and asked a few questions about what we might be interested in (Town & Country). She then offered to show us a couple of vans, described the features and offered a test drive. After that we started discussing price, trade-in value, financing, etc.All of this was without any high pressure sales tactics. I selected the car online, and already committed to purchase it- yet still they were fantastic! They walked me through the process, and they were not pushy at all. Over all it was one of the best dealership experiences I've had. Susan Goodman was a GREAT saleswoman I truly recommend, and Joel Warmund (accessories manager) was by far the BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN (And I've bought 28 vehicles in the past few years- I buy cars for personal and business). He was KNOWLEDGEABLE, honest. and not pushy. The two made a perfect combination of up-front honesty and straight shooting, exactly what I like in a dealer.My only complaint is with the loan- they didn't explain things very well and I had to press questions to find out what I was getting. They should have been more upfront with the loan terms, as there were a few things in there that aren't real common anymore- like paying a penalty for paying it off early. It seemed like a little deceptiveness that they hid that kind of detail from me until I dug into the details and challenged them on it.

I was travaling alone back to Memphis, TN from a visit with my mother in Akron, Ohio. I drive a Chrysler 2008 300C with all the bells and whistles. As I was returning back to Memphis with about 600 miles ahead of me, my navigation system went on the blink, I knew I just needed to get to Columbus! I knew there were many car dealerships on Morse Road as I had stopped there to visit my niece on my way to Akron. I made it to Morse Road, and began my search for the 5 Stars!!! I found Bob Caldwell Chrysler and went to the service department.I informed the service tech of my dilima, about that time I was approached by Ms. Pat.I'm sure the look of panic on my face got her attention and she asked me if I was ok. I again explained my problem and right away she said "Follow me"!! She took me inside to the sales department. She asked the receptionist to print the directions to my house then asked "Who is the most knowledgeable sales person on the navigation system"?? He went with me to my car; fortunately turning the car off reset the system. Pat gave me the printed directions just incase it happened again and I was on my way!! DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE!I bought a new 2011 Dodge Ram on September 27,2011. My misery began around 7 days later when I was driving on 270 and the truck completely shut off. I was able to pull it over to the side of the road and re-start it and drive it home. It would not start in my drive way so I had it towed back to Bob Caldwell, this was October 6,2011. Chrysler provided me with a rental while they fixed it. The service dept. called on October 18th and said the truck was fixed. Picked the truck up and within a few hours it stalled again and was towed back to Bob Caldwell. On October 24,2011 they called again and said the truck was fixed once again. I pick it up and was on Rt 23 when it stalled and lost power steering and breaks and I had to run it into a ditch to avoid rear ending someone due to the loss of power. Had it towed back to Bob Caldwell Dodge where it still is today November 21,2011. Thru this process I have been put through the Chrysler process of passing the buck to someone else. I told them I do not want the truck because I am afraid I will get hurt or hurt someone else driving it. The dealership has rarely called me and are very rude! I have had to get a lemon law attorney to help deal with this but is not doing much good-long process it seems. Chrysler called on November 18,2011 and said I have to return the rental. I called Bob Caldwell on November 19 to see if my truck was drivable. The service manger Scott said it was fixed and I can pick it up. I called him back and said I wanted in writing what they did to it and that I was taking my family to Pittsburgh in it over thanksgiving. Then he called and said that nothing was done to it and that he was folling the instructions of Chrysler to do nothing to it. So as of November 21,2011 I am making payments on a New truck that I drove for 7 days, loosing my rental car to drive and now have to pick up a rental expense until I can find someone to help me. I say do not buy a car here because I feel that I am being treated substatially unfairly and Chrysler and Bob Caldwell just do not CARE about how they treat their consumers!

I come to this dealership for everything from an oil change to replacing my tires. Every time I walk in I can always expect a friendly familiar face ready to take care of whatever my service needs are. Sean Smith has always been great for making me feel welcome as soon as I explain what it is that I came in for. He traslates "Ker-chunks and click clicks" pretty well (in women language). Dave Shunk, the service manager has always been very patient at explaining anything that I may not have understood in the first pass of what may need to be serviced on my vehicle. I usually wait for my vehicle to be serviced and everyone at the service area is great. I tend to be surprised at how quickly my vehicle is ready for me to drive away.All in all, I never have any hesitation to bring my vehicles in to Bob Caldwell's service area because I always know that they treat their customers well and are fair in their prices. We purchased a 2008 Town & Country from Bob Caldwell. We got a good deal on the vehicle and also purchased a life-time bumper-to-bumper warranty. Everyone we dealt with, from Antonio our 1st contact to Nick our salesman to Joe the sales manager, treated us great, with respect and without pressure. We were able to bargain (haggle, if you will) in a pleasant way. We hate car shopping and usually hate dealerships as well. This was not the case at Caldwell. The whole experience was so surprisingly pleasant that in spite of Caldwell being our 1st stop in our planned car-buying experience, we actually chose our vehicle then and there without going elsewhere. We have never made a purchase like that before.

I had been shopping for this vehicle for awhile, knew my prices, trim packages and everything. They received a vehicle in stock, so I went to check it out about one week after it appeared on cars.com. They couldn't even detail the car! Kids toys were in it, trash, etc. I decided to make an offer anyway. I asked for a trade in value on my vehicle. They offered NOTHING -- less than I spent on tires for it within the past 6 months, and 25$ of what I was offered at the place I ultimately purchased from. My offer was FAIR and just a few hundred less than their asking. They were asking close to Honda Certified price (and they were not selling a Honda certified, since they are not Honda). They would not budge on price -- well, they came down $90 from their online price. The salesguy did the typical salesman hymn-ha, shrugging his shoulders and using every tactic taught in a Sales 101 college class (seriously, as I have managed salespeople before). The manager would not budge on price. The saleguy did not bother to call back until later when he said "the car sold, is there something else you might be interested in." BTW, we bought the same make, model, trim with the same mileage a week or two later for 7% less than this dealer. Don't waste your time here.

I bought my jeep wrnagler from this dealer back in January and the people there were extremely attentive and knowledgable. I have been taking my jeep in for service since then and always receive the best service. Joe has helped me almost everytime I have been in and very friendly and courteous. They take the time to look at my car and the history to let me know what service it may be due for. They are fast, accurate and I never wait too long for my car. I live about 50 miles from the dealership but would never take my car anywhere else. An excellent team and I cannot say enough great things about them.Thank you!

This dealership has the best service out of the dealerships i've looked at to choose my car. Ted Gallant and Karin Fitzgerald did a wonderful job helping me choose what car to purchase and made it very stress relieving. They were both very respectable about the details we were looking for and very helpful. I always love going to a dealership where they actually care about your wants and needs. Also, Justin Harmon was a great salesman, he gave me a lot of advice on choosing the Dodge Avenger I purchased about a year ago. Also, i've taken in my car to the body shop over 3 times, and each time everyone helping me was very caring. They made sure they were on time and explained the problem with detail. Even the woman who checked me out was a very polite person. They have given me wonderful deals and I truly do recommend you to go to Bob Caldwell for your new car, it is well worth it!!!!!!

It's always an insecure feeling being a woman and having to deal with car people, especially the service department. Not at Caldwell. They were on time with my appointment, called me and updated me as to progress, price AND options, never talked "down" to me and just made me feel safe, secure and taken care of in every way. I have found in dealing with Caldwell that the above is the rule and not the exception.Kudos and thanks.Sue

I had my vehicle serviced at Bob Caldwell in December of '08. I was extremely pleased by the welcoming atmosphere and helpful staff. I was able to get in and out without being hassled to purchase any unnecessary maintenance unlike other service shops that I have been. They were able to answer all of my questions even though my car is a Honda. I will definitely continue to have my car serviced at Bob Caldwell because I feel that I can trust them to take care of my needs without trying to take advantage of me. Thanks,Ashley

I purchased a 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser used in 2006 from Joe. They gave me a fair price for my trade and gave me the deal I wanted based on my pre-approval. After about a month, my car was leaking oil. I took it in for service. They provided me a rental car and kept the car for about three days. They said the crank seal was broken, so they replaced it. I noticed over the weekend that the car was still leaking oil, so I took it back again (very frustrated). I had put a white poster underneath the car to show them that I wasn't crazy. The service guy thanked me, because it showed him that there were metal shavings in the oil. The car needed a new motor, because the crank shaft was bent. They gave me another rental car, and kept the car for a little over two weeks (they told me it would be a while, since they had to order the motor from Chrysler). They fixed the car, and didn't charge me one penny. About a year later, I had ANOTHER issue with my car, and I took it again for service. The service manager came in to tell me that the issue was a very simple fix, and they were taking care of it that day for me. They never argued with me, they never gave me a hard time. They simply fixed the problem and made sure I was happy. They told me that I could take my car to any Chrysler dealership for service, but because of the service I got there, I will not go anywhere else. By the way, I've had no problems with my car since 2007, so whatever was wrong, they fixed it the right way!

my family has been coming to Bob Caldwell since I was a child, I use to drive a pontiac, and have been converter over since I have been to caldwell service with my father. I traded in the Trans Am and bought two Jeeps, one for my wife and one for myself. Nothing but the best has come from Bob Caldwell.

DO NOT trust their service department! I took my car to them for a repair that was covered under the warranty, and they still tried to tack on labor/diagnostic charges which were above and beyond what the warranty would cover. Basically, they weren't satisfied with the amount of money they would get from the job since it was warranty work, so they tried to charge me for twice the amount of time they were paid for. Undoubtedly, this is not the only way they try to cheat those who make the mistake of trusting them to have some sense of pride or integrity about their work. THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY! whether they deserve it or not. If anyone knows of a dealership who cares about offering quaility service in the Columbus, Oh area, please let me know!
