Mazda's are great cars. Got a new Mazda 3 Turbo in the color I wanted with all the extras I wanted. And it was reasonably priced. Got .9% financing as well. The service department is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Only down side was all the extras they tried to sell me once we went to financing, but I have never bought a new car where they did not try and do that.

More than just Mazdas. Great, quick, pain free experience. Brian in sales made sure all of my concerns were addressed and set me up with exactly the vehicle and payment that I wanted. It was waiting right out front when I arrived perfectly clean and ready for me to check out. They had recently done typical maintenance to it so was in top condition inside and out, under the hood and underneath. Purchasing on Saturday evening had me concerned with banking, Dan in finance was very knowledgeable and got me a better deal than we had discussed after I left, with a lower payment than I had expected. Adam the sales manager was nothing short of exceptional, answering the numerous questions I had with clear, concise answers. Buying a used vehicle can be a long and daunting task but employees here care about more than just making a deal happen. They actually work with you to ensure your needs are met, for a happy transaction on both sides. No need to worry about heavy negotiating at other places in order to get to a realistic market value. The overall experience in purchasing my car was horrendous. From one of the managers lying to me and telling me he would not take my lender to purchase, then arguing and ignoring me as the purchaser to speak to my father who had nothing to do with the transaction. To giving me a dirty car with scratches. I purchase on 9/1 didn't' actually have my car until 9/25 due to getting it repaired the way it needed to. The sales rep Brian was awesome though, he found the exact car i wanted over time and if it hadn't been for him I would have never purchased. The other manager Adam did make efforts to try and make up for the terrible experience. Although I am still not excited for having purchased a brand new 2021 car, I'm glad to be done with the process. I will likely never buy a car from that location ever again and neither will my family and friends that I have told of my experience.

I purchased a new 2021 CX-5 on July 30. As part of the deal, I was to receive roof rails and navigation chip installed. The dealership had not called me about those two items by August 5, so I called them. I spoke to the Sales Manager, Adam Torres, about it. He said he would speak to the service department. Tom Rogers from the service department called a short time after that and we scheduled the service for August 12 (he said he wanted to make sure that the parts were in to do the service). So I arrive at my scheduled appointment time at 7:45 am on the 12th. The service manager (Layne) that was there told me that he had no documentation from sales regarding the installation, so could not perform the service, and sales would not be in until 9 am. Of course that was upsetting, because I had the morning off and it was the perfect time for me to have the work done. I could not wait around for someone in sales to provide documentation and then have to wait more until the work was completed. So I told them I had to get going and I would contact sales myself. I called Adam at 9 and told him what happened and he said he would resolve the situation. The work was rescheduled for August 16 at 7:45 am, so I told Adam that I would need a loaner vehicle because I had work. He said that would be no problem. So I take my vehicle back at 7:45 this morning. They had that documentation from sales, but no loaner vehicle! Now I am extremely upset, because I had to once again leave without the service being completed. So I will once again have to call Adam and have this situation resolved. I am very disappointed with this dealership! This is my second vehicle from them, which makes it that much worse.

This dealership honestly was the best experience I have ever had with one they are nice and honest! Never once felt pressured like you do at most places highly recommend this too anyone looking for a good reliable vehicle with some great options! Bryan and Ethan honestly are the best sales man I’ve ever dealt with and the finance man helped us out so much with everything from financial advice to helping us lower our APR rate he went above and beyond his job title!

Brian and Jeff were very friendly and professional. They weren't pushy like most salesman. We brought a used car so there were a couple of things the dealership had to take care of. We call Brian he gave us a car while our car was being taken care of. Chris in the service department was awesome. The whole buying experience was great.

Thank you Jay Huber for making this the best experience my husband and I have had at a dealership. We were not looking to purchase a new vehicle we were just there to get maintenance on our 2008 CX-7 and we saw the 2016 CX-3 and I feel in love. I was happy with my CX-7 and wasn't in the mood to deal with pushy sales people. We meet Jay Huber and right away we liked him. We didn't have to do the whole dance of let me talk to my manager over and over again. The staff from Jay to the finance manager went smoothly we were out of there in less than an hour.I love that dealership and I would recommend them to everyone.

My husband and I worked with Kenneth (Kenny) Guerette on the purchase of our certified used vehicle. What I liked about Kenny was that he was not at all your pushy typical car salesperson, and he was very down-to-earth and personable. He was kind and knowledgeable. He even took the time to transfer all of our items out of our old vehicle while we were in the paperwork process, and he also synced up my Bluetooth. We even happened to be there when Bob Penkhus, himself, was there, and he was very nice as well. Overall, our experience was excellent. Definitely ask for Kenny in Sales if you decide to check out this dealership.

If you want excellent service with purchasing (or in my case leasing) a vehicle from Bob Penkhus Mazda, talk with Grayson Richey (Certified Sales Consultant). He will get the job done and go out of his way to make sure you are comfortable in the various aspects of the sale. If he can't get it done for you, he will find a way for someone else to assist. He is patient, kind and extremely knowledgeable. The key ingredient in sales is to listen to what the customer needs/wants, make suggestions, educate where it seems appropriate, keep it simple (for those of us not in the industry) and then let the car sell itself. Grayson does just that. I had a Mazda Rx3 many years ago. I'd not driven in a Mazda since 1985 when mine died - after 13 years. Sitting back in the 2015 Mazda 3 i Sport somehow felt familiar. Test driving it turned on all those love endorphins that make you fall in love. And, I did. I first touched base with their Internet manager, Dustin Booth and Ben (who introduced me to Grayson.. The transaction flowed seamlessly from there. I was given time to look over the lease agreement. In that interim Grayson drove the car over to his lot from their Motor City store. When I arrived the following day, both he and the car were ready to go. There are both pluses and minuses to leasing a vehicle as there are in buying one. They are happy to go over either avenue - without pressure. Ask for Grayson. He will guide you in the right direction - FOR YOU. Excellent service. Thank you guys. -- P.S. How amazing is that (such consistency in their workmanship) that I could sense/feel the same zippiness and responsiveness of the Mazda 3 as I did in the Rx3 in 1972. Wow!
