I bought a used car model 2015, at a considerable price (17K plus interest) unfortunately I feel that they were not 100% honest, they told me that the car had no problem but after the check with my mechanic, the car needs at least 1600 bucks to repair the four brakes, repair the oil spilled by the two rear shocks and swing it. Not to mention that the tires are for the change, but that if he was aware. I would have liked to be told the truth about the real situation of the car, maybe I would have thought better of it. For 17k dollars, one expects a car in good condition, especially when it is purchased at an agency. If you are going to buy a used car with them, think twice.

Bob Rohrman, sold me a 2018 Ford Fusion January of 2019. Since I have had this car I have had 2 engines replaced and an alternator replaced before this car even had 40k miles on it!!!! When I tried to work with them to get this car replaced they told me they wouldn’t help me. I contacted Ford corporation and they also told me that they wouldn’t buy the car back. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a car. My family has been buying fords and Lincoln cars & Trucks for over 40 years. Never again!!!! My safety and my family safety is to important to me. To bad Ford and it’s dealerships could care less!

Services that my car did not need as I had just had them done in April were recommended by the service shop. There is a Gov mandate for masks indoors. Despite signs everywhere stating that masks were required, not one employee was wearing a mask. It felt unsafe.

Our salesmen, Ismael, was great. Worked with me as I purchased a used car for my son. We came back two separate days to test drive, Ismael was knowledgable and although I did purchase I did not feel the typical salesmen pressure to make an instant decision. We also delt with Frank, one of the sales managers. Frank was very accommodating and helpful in our purchase. I gave the facility 3 stars due to it being under construction/renovation at the time of purchase. I'm sure once the renovations are complete it will be very nice.

Tried to get car service for recall. Kept getting voicemail instead of appointment scheduler. Finally got person and was told I would have to make two trips for the recall as their manager prefers not to order the parts ahead of time. This would mean a total for 4 trips for me as there was a second recall that parts were not yet available. Asked to talk to manager. Was told he was busy. Recalled I had negative experience with them previously.Called Wickstrom Ford. Reached scheduler right away. She was pleasant and said she would order parts and let me know when they are in so I could make an appointment. So easy, so pleasant.

We went in not expecting to leave with a new car with payments we could afford. Nick Magdalin was awesome. He took the time to show us vehicles and took the time to explain our options. We wanted a 2016 Ford Fusion. After they crunched the numbers they were able to give us a new vehicle and lease it for the price we wanted. I was sold a lemon Ford Fiesta from this dealership back in May of 2013. I bought the car brand new and ever since I bought it, the car was making awful chirping, grinding noises coming from the transmission whenever I accelerated. Ever since I bought the car back in 2013, I have taken the car repeatedly numerous times to the dealership explaining to them the issues I was experiencing with the transmission and I wanted it checked out because the issue is not normal. Every single time I took the car over to them to check out, I was told that there's no issue; they couldn't hear the noises I was hearing and that apparently any noises I was hearing was normal for Fiestas. Again and again I kept taking the car over to them because of the terrible noises I was hearing and I kept hearing the same response that the car was fine. Keep in mind that my car is under full warranty during this period. I finally gave up and came to the conclusion that perhaps the noises were probably normal. Finally, in June 2016 when I take the car over for an oil change and tire rotation, the mechanic comes over to me and asks me if I've been hearing any grinding, chirping noises from the car when I accelerate! I told him that I have been hearing those noises and have had those issues ever since I bought the car back in 2013 and have been taking the car to the dealership repeatedly since 2013 for them to check out and I was always told that there's no issue and the car is fine. The mechanic tells me that the alternator needs to be replaced and that the issue is definitely not normal. I said to myself, finally the issue was found and will be solved after 3 years. Finally, two weeks later I take my car over to them to get it fixed. When the car is ready, I receive a phone call from one of the servicemen and am told the car is ready, but that one of my warranty's has apparently expired back in May 2016 and that the alternator isn't covered and as a result, I will have to pay $100. First of all, I bought the car with a 5 year, 60,000 mile warranty. Second, I was told in June 2016 when I took the car for an oil change and tire rotation that the repair of the alternator was covered under my warranty, and then I'm being told after the repair that it's not. Also, what a coincidence that after 3 years since 2013 of me taking my car to the dealership complaining about the noises, grinding and chirping, they finally find the problem AFTER they say my warranty has expired. They waited until after they claim my warranty expired for them to repair the issue so that they could charge me for the repair. Total scam! I tried explaining this to the service manager and I was treated rudely and with disrespect. I told the service manager that I was not going to pay for the costs because I have been complaining about the issue since 2013 and nothing was ever done, not until after they claim my warranty expired so that I would have to pay for the costs. I refused to pay because I refuse to be scammed and lied to. I did not end up paying and as I was leaving the dealership the service manager tried to lecture me about how it's not good being rude and disrespectful. Sorry, but who was the one being lied to and scammed since May 2013? When I arrived home, I noticed several scratches on the backside driver door. Those scratches were not there before I took the car to get repaired, as I always inspect the car before dropping it off at the dealership for service. They most likely scratched it on purpose for my refusal to pay. Please avoid this dealership at all costs to avoid being lied to and scammed. This is by far the worst dealership experience I have ever had and I will never again set foot there.

I was very cautious after reading some of the reviews. However, my general experience was only positive. The car I was interested in was as described. I was not harassed nor pressured. Spenet 10 minutes in the showroom and noone made an effort to approach us. Left look at the car my son was interested in. We parked outside in a late model Mercedes and started to leave. My wife and I just recently purchased a certified pre-owned 2013 Ford Edge. The car is fantastic. However, the service, sales, management and financing team should all be relieved of their duty.My wife and I were at the dealership for 6 hours as they processed paperwork. The sales team tried to SNEAK in 2 different packages in our billing statement. One was for a "pro-package" which would have added an additional $500 to the total, that we caught and asked them to remove. Another was a $300 "anti theft package" which they said was "free" and to ignore the price. After returning home from our 6 hour extravaganza at the dealership, we had an opportunity to review the bill. As it turned out, that $300 was in-fact added in and they would not return the funds to us. We have received several different answers as to why they will not cut us a check for the difference after we put a large down payment on the vehicle. We received 5 different responses every time we call. Reasons include:1) It takes a double sign-off2) It has to come off of the loan by law3) We can't cut you a check because of the tax involved4) Well, you did sign the paperwork5) The paperwork has, but it hasn't gone through yet.In addition, during our 6 hours spent at the dealer, they did not detail the car, service it, gas it up, or offer any form of apology for having us sit around a dealership for that length of time. I would not only not recommend shopping at this dealership or this group, I would keep away from R.J (Salesman), Frank (Manager) and James (Financing specialist). They will lie, cheat and swindle you. Make sure to check you receipt, your bill and use a charge card if you are planning on putting money down so you have recourse.

Every representative from the dealership we spoke to went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They had outstanding customer service. They stayed open 2.5 hrs after closing to complete our purchase, which they certainly did not have to do. We even got information about a dog breeder from their friendly courteous staff!!!!

My Sale associate, Ryan, was busy but took the time to listen to what I wanted and test drove a vehicle and talk about financing. I had my 2002 ford explore looked at by Shaumburg Ford and they told me it was the ECM on my SUV and would cost $1800 to fix. I told them it was to much so I refused service. I than had my car looked at by a guy that was highly recommended. he found out that it wasn't my ECM it was a blown fuse that was caused by and oxygen sensor wire. Hmm I found that funny , WOW ford was going to charger me $1800 to fix my car . Stay with me the story gets better. Ford returned my car with a dead battery and my ECM cables disconnected. I talk to Sam the general mgr of the Ford dealership and told him my story , and that I wanted the $140 they charger me for looking at car. Sam proceed to argue with me so I ask him for a phone # of someone that could help me. he gave me a phone# (that was wrong) and when I asked him for his last name he told me I'm the only Sam here ,I'm the only Sam and i said so your not going to give me your last name , and for a third time he said I'm the only Sam here and hung the phone up on me. I found the right phone# no thanks to SAM SHALABI, and called Ford Motor Company and file a complaint on that dealership. At that end of the day Bob Rohan of Schaumburg Ford is a RIP OFF they have no problem taking your money even if it isn't morally right.

My only regret is I wasn't informed that I wasn't aware that the automatic headlights were turned off until I was driving the car at dusk. They should either let the customer know that the lights,are off or return the car the way it was when brought in.

I could only give it one star otherwise it would be less. Bob Rohrman Ford is getting a facelift, new facilities, and new showroom but the guys inside will still be schister rat finks. Married guys will know what I'm talking about, guys do your wives need to hear the same thing you are telling them from someone else and then it rings true? Well my wife thought that 3K for Ford premium care extended warranty was a great price and against my wishes bought it. That's not the worst part these guys told me that was the friends and family price. Sitting in the finance office I could not get hold of two people I know in the industry and it was only afterwards that I could get in contact and she heard for herself how they soaked us for $1250, I can get the same plan at another local Ford dealership for $1750, not the $2995 they charged me. I had thirty days to cancel and I put it in writing and Bob Rohrman Ford continually pushed to keep my money by offering a higher super premium package that I did not want.Now keep in mind that I was happy with my other three vehicle purchases over the last five years from them but if this was the friends and family price and they made it difficult over the course of a month to get my money back and then had the audacity to charge me a fee for their crap. I will not spend another cent at any of Bob Rohrman's dealerships. I spent over $125K in the last five years at that Ford Dealership. I will be in the market for another Ford truck in the next couple of years and I will not consider this dealership for my next truck purchase. I hope them trying to soak me for $1250 was worth it. Save yourself a hassle and stay the xxxx away from these clowns.

Last week we got into a minor curb accident and needed to get a wheel and rim replaced. We payed 135 for the inspection alone, but they DID NOT inspect the whole car. After we picked up our car we heard loud front end noises immediately after leaving the parking lot. After dropping off our car for the second time, just got a call from them saying the wheel bearings and at least 4 other parts need to be replaced because "wear and tear" when the noises only started after their initial repair! We also asked them to try to fix the heating in our car, they were totally clueless on how to fix it, and ended up breaking the lighting for the heating area and not fixing anything. We are going to go in and talk to a manager today.CANT believe this is a dealership, they are so unprofessional.

This last trip was ok. I did not receive a call to let me know my car was finished. I will not be recommending Ford due to my experiences over the last year and a half. I have had a negative experience with Bob Rohrman's Ford. Several times I did not receive a call that my car was finished, was not pleased with the Focus, had a awful experience will Ford buying it back and me purchasing a Fusion. Then I was offered a starter to compensate my problems, but it was taken away because I had already filled out the survey with negative comments. In addition, upon receiving my car back I discovered that one of my rims had been badly curbed. This damage was not there when I dropped the car off, and was certainly done by a service technician. I purchased a vehicle from Bob Rohrman Schaumburg Lincoln Dec 2014, I had a headlight go out in early May and had to take to service department for what I thought would be a quick fix (fuse/bulb) turns out it was a little more complex than that, it took them several days to determine the problem and during such time I received no communication other than when I initiated, than I was told that they are having a hard time determining what the issue may be, was told that they had dismantled the bumper from the car and were searching for in their terms a needle in a haystack. Finally more than a week later it was determined that the ballast needed to be replaced. Upon receiving my car back we noticed that there were chips in the bumper where it appears they used some sort of tool to pry the bumper from the car, as well as a blemish of some sort in the fender where the tool may have slipped and hit the fender. Now I understand that mishaps will occur, my problem is the lack of responsibility that the service manager wanted to take, insisting that the car was brought to him in this condition! (so basically he was saying that I was being dishonest and trying to take advantage of the dealer for repairs) This began a month long battle between myself and the service department, and during this month not ONCE did they bother to pick up the phone to let us know what was going on. When we purchased this car we thought we were buying into a company that stood by their name, and I believe Lincoln does as it was the Lincoln customer service who intervened and paid for all of the damages, as far as Bob Rohrman dealer, well Ive never experienced such horrific service from a dealer in all of my years, If you plan to use this dealer to service your vehicle I highly recommend that you video your car before leaving in their care! As for me I will be using another Lincoln dealer.

When I purchased my last car, I looked at Fords. There was a least one model that was definitely in the finals. However, it had a lower MPG than the car I bought. The next time I go car shopping, I will have to investigate the current crop of Fords. They look like good cars.

Everything about my experience was top notch. Sam Shalabi and Mort Bahrami were especially helpful through every step of the process of purchasing my brand new Ford Taurus. This is the second car I have bought there in four months. I was in an accident that totaled my first car. My sister and I walked away with bumps and bruises. I felt that my fiesta did a great job protecting both of us as the car was completely destroyed and we were fine. I came back to Brian because he was so great the first time. Questioned about a used car, was called repeatedly to come in for a used car trade quote when I offered a price ahead to see if we could come to any terms I was told that they would get back to me. After another call from another sales person explained I talked to Manager with a offer was told they would get back to me. Still waiting for follow up call, nobody got back to me! Our family recently bought a Ford Fusion from this location. I also get my Ford Van serviced here. I believe some of the 1 star reviews because I have dealt with my fair share of issues at this location. However, since this location is closest... I do still go there. Sometimes, it comes down to whom you work with in order to get decent service. In sales, I would work with Ron (Sales Manager) since I believe he really does care about the customers and will work with you to get your business. In service, I prefer James (Representative in service) since he seems the most genuine and tries to do things right the first time. He also takes ownership when things do not go as planned which I respect rather than have someone feed me a bunch of lies. I would avoid Mario ( Service manager) since my experience with him has been the least pleasant or productive. Overall, I would give this location the benefit of the doubt because a lot of good people work there however be persistent and keep your eyes open.

Was pleasantly surprised by my experience at Rohrman Ford. Haven't bought a car in a long while, so expected the typical games. Gladly, they never came. I knew exactly what I wanted to purchase, (including options and warranties), and exactly what I was willing to pay. After taking a test drive, my salesman made an offer, I counter offered, and that was it. Easy peasy, done deal. I added remote start, and an extended warranty (I'd wanted this before walking into the dealership to cover the electronics) for the price I had expected to pay. Four hours after walking in, I drove away in the vehicle I wanted, with the features I wanted, for the loan amount I had expected. No complaints at all. I'd highly recommend!

Nick took time with me to build the car and then test drive a similar car on the lot. He then worked with me to answer all my financing questions. We then drove "my new car" prior to my buying it (as it was in the show room). He then spent time to show me the nuances of the technology for the car and kept it to a minimum so I could retain it. Nick stated otherwise it would be too overwhelming and he will go over more with me after driving it for a week. He was right! It was very overwhelming after I left.

We gave them the $500 deposit. They could not find the car we wanted but they cashed the deposit anyway. They made it xxxx to get our deposit back!!!! The people at this dealership fulfill the stereotype of "car salesmen". When we talked to the manager, Paul, he was so condescending and offensive, making sure that WE felt like the idiots. These people will tell you whatever you want to hear to seal the deal and then later on tell you that what was said was either wrong or that you're making it up. Just find another Ford dealership and do your business there. ANY Ford dealership has to be better than this one.

I have now been a part of three vehicle purchases from this dealership in the past 6 months. This however is the first car I purchased ( the previous two were for my brother and my girlfriend ) from them. Everyone at the dealership offers exceptional customer service but on this occasion I dealt directly with Nick and Ideen and both of them went above and beyond to make my experience as pleasurable as possible. No one enjoys car shopping but dealing with these guys is 100% painless. Anyone looking to purchase a car should give these guys the opportunity to earn your business. I purchased an Explorer from this dealership in 2011. I sold that vehicle in December 2013. I soon after went into the showroom and filled out the proper paper work in order to cancel my extended warranty and receive a reimbursement of the unused portion. I checked back about 6 months later and found out the paperwork never made it to the warranty company. So at the salesperson's request I faxed in another copy of my odometer reading in order to resubmit the request. I have never heard back and called today only to find out the person I was calling is no longer employed at the dealership. Now I have to restart with a completely new person.Apparently, after you buy a car, they can care less about supplying any level of customer service.

Went in last night after talking with an internet rep for the past week or so. They had all my trade info, they already pulled a credit report, and knew exactly what car I wanted. I was told about five times via email it was very possible to get me near the payment and term I told them I needed. Upon arriving to the dealership, they came back with numbers that were absolutely asinine, telling me I needed to put down several thousand dollars more than I wanted to and saying my car payment would have to be almost $100 more per month. Long story short, after them completely low balling me on my trade (offering $16k on a car they could easily sell for over $20k), I got them to come up quite a bit, but we couldn't make it happen. At no point in time were they anywhere near what they told me was "possible," depending on my trade. My trade only has 9,600 miles on it and literally is in perfect shape. Perhaps their email meant to say it was IMpossible and I just misread it (sarcasm). Then the finance manager became defensive and started telling me "I don't think you really even want this car" and making remarks about how I wasn't willing to budge. Why should I be willing to budge when I was flat out lied to? Oh, best part about it? I could hear them talking about me at the front desk. Maybe they didn't realize I was still in the dealership and waiting to get my keys back.The night ended with me walking away from the dealership and neither the finance manager or the sales rep bothering to at least shake my hand and say "sorry we couldn't make a deal." They basically just turned around and walked away.Although I would agree the terms they were presenting me at the end were reasonable, the point is they told me my original request was possible, and they knew very well that there was no way to get to that point. I would have paid what they ended up presenting me had they been honest from the start. I actually considered going back today and purchasing it, then I realized it would be stupid to give them even a dollar after the way they handled this. I'll go somewhere else and pay the same price, maybe even a little more, to an honest dealership.

From the moment Brian Delaney met us at the door, our experience was outstanding.We actually arrived an hour after the posted Saturday closing time, but still saw activity. So we asked if they were still open, and Brian's comment was: "We are here to sell cars. If you want to buy one, let's talk about your needs."At no point did he (or anyone else) try to "SELL" us. He gave us all the information we needed, and quickly got us behind the wheel of the models we wanted to evaluate. When it came time to talk price, he avoided the normal games and started with an offer that was fair. No boss to put added pressure. Just a fair price.We did sit with Nick Magdalin to hear about their recommendations for additional treatment protection; but again, no pressure. When we decided it wasn't for us, that was it. No additional person to convince us otherwise.By the time we finished the paperwork with Ideen Ghaffari, it was almost ten PM; but at no point did he or anyone else make us feel rushed.Every person we dealt with at Schaumburg Ford gets high marks. We STRONGLY recommend Brian Delaney as the best salesperson we've ever worked with (and we've bought a lot of new cars over the years).We wanted to buy an Explorer; they wanted to sell one; so we did.

Recently having problems with my 2009 Escape. Latest was engine light- Had it in 3 times and it was not fixed.I talked to James Doering and he told me to bring it in and assured me that it would be fixed for good. Mr Doering went over and above good customer service. I have been pretty disgusted with this Ford Dealership, but because of Mr Doering, I am now a happy customer. When I came in he had a car waiting for me and made sure the car was fixed. on 1/11/14 I bought 2013 ford Taurus from bob rohrman ford Schaumburg il.my salesman brain Delaney he was great to deal with.im totally satisfied with my car purchase..the dealer paid off my loan. the next month I noticed $57.00 balance due. I didn't a late fee or late payment reported on my credit. so I paid it an later told the dealer they checked into it and determined the bank has my money collect from them..so after 3 1/2 month calling the bank going back forth to the dealership with paper work. from day one the bank said they returned the check to the dealership. now I'm mad its more about the principal of it for wasting my time. the check never cleared . dealership put a stop payment on the check .now they're willing to issue a check immediately to me. told them to keep it I can see $57.00 dollars was more important to your bottom line . my future business will go Arlington hts ford where they go above and beyond for their customers .. ps I would have been happy with 2 or 3 oil changes as long as I got some value for my money.............c price.....

He had the audacity to yell at me (the customer) and insinuate that we were trying to get our car fixed for free (when we said we would pay the difference from the first visit when the problem was NOT fixed). He is an embarrassment to Ford and Corporate will be hearing about it. I hope no one goes to this place - unless you'd like to get yelled at by an incompetent General Manager who obviously does not value Ford customers and lacks any sense of customer service. I was looking for a 2014 V6 Premium Mustang, which is very hard to find due to the new model coming out. Not only were Brian and Pete able to find the car I wanted but they found it in the color I wanted too. I was really surprised and super happy that they were able to make this happen, since I was seriously losing hope on getting this car. I also feel like I got an awesome deal and no one tried to play games while I was buying the car. They seem to be really honest and forthcoming with details. Nick was helpful and got me into the price range I wanted. However, I felt pressured into buying at that moment to get the deal. I mentioned while test driving the car that I felt a vibration and he said it was probably snow on the tire and will go away. I brought the car back to service still feeling the problem and after driving they told me that was how the car runs and there is nothing wrong. I feel like I was mislead and he should have told me that's how it normally feels.

At first, it was very confusing. He was working with another customer and I didn't really get to ask a lot of questions. But when he finished with that customer, things were pretty smooth. He showed me a few options that he thought I'd be looking for, and then we went for a test drive. One thing for sure is he definitely knows what he's selling. He knew questions that sales people would have had to look up in the past. He was courteous and while definitely being a "sales" type of person, he also wanted to make sure the car fit exactly what I wanted.

I was looking to purchase new Fusion at Bob Rohrman Ford since we bought our last 3 cars there. Our salesperson was great, showed us everything and treated us with respect...until we met Olga- rude as they come and than their general manager?? Pete- talking down to us like we were stupid and never bought a car before. We wanted to know the price of the car and was pushed with some radicously high monthly payments instead, when we were leaving payments went down by over $130 on 72 mos loan. We felt like we were being ripped off. I could not belive the sale tactics..WOW..All we needed was fair price and some time to sleep on it and make sure we were happy with our decision. I never met more arrogant and obnoxious people in my life! Hope Bob Rohrman reads this and trains his people. In spite of all this, we bought our car from Arlington Hts dealer and geting new Fiesta for our daughter next month.

I was very skeptical walking into the dealership. I decided I should give a Ford escape a try and suddenly we came upon your dealership. I had been waiting for a Nissan Rogue from another dealership and their promised delivery date came & went so I was frustrated with the buying process. I was vert specific with what I wanted. Mark helped right away and pulled the correct vehicle for me to try. He was very thorough in going over the features of the car and listened to what I wanted. I ended up making a purchase and am vert satisfied. Mark was professional and personal without being to "salesy" in the process. He even made me some popcorn as a snack as we waiting for our turn with finance & paperwork. Afterwards Mark made sure I had my phone sync'd with the car and went over all of the manuals, features & navigation. I really appreciated the time he spent with me.

I was searching for a used Ford Escape and was looking withing a specific dollar amount. I found one at Schaumburg Ford and contacted them regarding it. I was able to get a great deal which made the trip from my town of Chesterton Indiana to Shaumburg Il to take a look. I purchased the vehicle and drove it home that day. After getting it home, realized it was missing some items, i.e., back seat head rests and gas tank funnel and a back trunk area cover. However before contacting the dealership back on this, the CHECK ENGINE light came on. I was of course concerned and thinking.. did I make a good choice ! I contacted Schaumburg Ford and was immediated contacted back by Pete Panos, General Manager who assured me he would have everything taken care of. Not wanting to drive back to Schaumburg, he advised that they had a local Bob Rohrman dealership / Chesterton Nissan and I could get everything done there. Long story short, the check engine issue was resolved and wasn't a huge concern and Pete advised that the other items would be ordered and mailed to Chesterton Nissan as well. I was contacted regularly by Mario at Schaumburg Ford following up and Pete as well. Damien at Chesterton Nissan was quick to get my car in /and provided a rental. The customer service at both Schaumburg Ford and Chesterton Nissan was outstanding and I was truly impressed and felt like they were sincere in making my car right and my experience a good one. My experience with Bob Rohrman dealerships was so excellent that they have earned by business in the future.

After contacting a Mr. Madison first by email then by phone i was told ti submit my info for pre approval i did and was not contacted back so a few days later i called to talk to Mr. Madison to ask about my approval he said i havent checked yet but i will and il call you right back this was monday 12-03 -13 he never contacted me so when i got home i checked my email found i was turned down for pre approval i knew why i was not contacted back by the sales person because he could not make a slae so lwas not good enough to take the time to contact and explain why so my point is service is great if you qualify fir credit otherwise theres no need to give you service at all which is very rude in my book bad recommendation from an unsatisfied unworthy customer

This is a little disrespectful as I am sure the sales person noted my age and figured there was no potential. Came in to buy a used pickup truck, we shopped the lot and were not hassled which was great. When we wanted help we asked and the dealer assisted us. Within the last year I had the IDM replaced on my 2000 F-250. It went bad in under six months but was still under warranty so it should've been replaced free of charge. This dealership did not honor that warranty so I ended up having to pay over $2000 for this repair to be done AGAIN. How can you offer warrantys and not honor them? I would never recommend someone to get there car serviced here with customer service like that.

I walked in with no intention of purchasing a vehicle. Only with consideration of browsing the latest redesigned 2014 Escape that I was so intrigued by. We started off with a pleasant new rep named Marco, but as we went into more "research" (which is what I was there for), a more experienced salesman, Mike Madison took over. I very clearly outlined what I could afford as far as monthly payments/down payment, and he ignored both. He became very pushy, aggressive, and insulted me by saying that my "ballpark" request of a monthly payment would not be taken seriously by the financial team. When he finally got the price close to the range I originally requested, he would not give me a definitive interest rate. When I asked, he ball-parked it to 4-6% (after my credit score came back as GREAT). I had already been approved through Capital One at 2.89%. He suggested they could possibly match it and slid the paper at me to sign. When I asked what I was signing and if that meant I was buying the car, he wouldn't answer me directly and said i was agreeing to the financing. And after he gave us the "numbers" he had calculated, we did our own math. The car he said would be $17,895 which was a steal, was turning out to be $27,000 by his calculations. Where did the extra $10,000 come from? He couldn't answer. I felt attacked, belittled, and angry by the end of my experience at this place. Don't waste your time.

I went in to this dealership after I saw a 2012 Chevy Malibu being offered here on cargurus.com. I arrived early on a Friday morning and spoke to a Brian Delaney. We went for test drive only a few minutes after I had arrived. Brian was personable without coming off as "pushy," as I imagined most car salesmen are. This was my first time ever buying a car from a dealership. After the test drive, we spoke casually about the price. The whole process was friendly and casual. After only thirty minutes, I decided that this was the car for me, not only because I liked the car, but because Brian made the whole experience easy and comfortable. I am definitely going to recommend Brian to anybody I know that is in the market for a new or used car.

This is the worst staff I have ever seen in a Car Dealership.I requested a car availability online and got an email saying that the car was available for a test drive and also a very attractive Price Quote.I drove to their dealership twice to realize they did not have the car at any time.They said they would factory the order the car for me -- but the price would be way over the quote they gave me. The rep PAUL said the price was "CASH DOWN PRICE - IF I WAS TO PAY THE FULL AMOUN IN CASH RIGHT THEN" never heard of such a thing.They quoted my trade in at a price 1/3 the value another ford dealer gave me.Their final words were -- "this is what we give you" If you don't like it go elsewhere.I would strongly suggest ---- "KEEP AWAY"

I went to look at my first car and drove home in a new car! The salesmen were not pressuring and I felt like they were honest with me. They gave me a good dollar amount for my trade in vehicle as well. I drove away in a nicer car I ever would have imagined I could buy! Update on 9/15: My salesman told me he was supposed to call 3 times to check up on me when I purchased my car. He has not followed up once. I had to call him a couple days after I purchased my vehicle because I left a few items in my trade-in. He said he would look into it and call me back. It has been almost 2 weeks and I am yet to hear from the dealership regarding my misplaced items or a follow up on the sale.

My first experience with Bob Rohrman Ford (BRF) came with a call from Gil, asking if he and his team could assist me in anyway. No pressure or sales pitch, just honest sincerity concerning my needs. My daughter and I scheduled a test drive which introduced me to Ismael Pacheco, who quickly removed any concerns I may of had, he clearly was there us. His knowledge of vehicles was honest and accurate. BRF has a phrase "allow us to demonstrate our commitment to excellence". I find this to be more of an oath not just a phrase. BRF sales team of Ismael and Gil are true leaders in the vehicle sales industry, putting the customer first. My oath to BRF is to tell as many people as I can how excellent my experience was. I'm sure there are behind the scenes staff that bent over backwards to my my daughters new vehicle possible, to them I would like to say "Thank you". This dealership is one of the most dishonest places I have ever visited. I am a young mom with 2 small children and came in to look into trading in my large SUV for a smaller one. I was interested in a Land Rover. I asked my salesman many questions about general maintenance. Mark told me that he owned a Land Rover and they are cheap to fix and are known for having long engine lives. I drove the vehicle and became interested so we discussed a deal. There were a few things that needed to be fixed like the back hatch handle and the visor. I was told that everything that was broken would be fixed. I took the car home with me that evening. 2 days after purchasing the vehicle I had a puddle of liquid all over my driveway. I called the dealership and they had me bring it in. They said they would fix everything including the visor and handle. They had my vehicle for a week. I came to pick it up and all they did was rescrew the visor in and oil the BROKEN and rusted back door hatch! I was also told that the power steering pump was broken and all was replaced. The service manager said to me that whoever certified this vehicle to be put on the lot and sold should get talked to. He also assured me that the service tech did a 100+ point inspection and said I would have no more problems. I get home and the next day the windshield wipers didn't work. AND 6 weeks after I purchased the car the A/C blew out and engine started making noises. We called the dealership and was told by Chase Rohrman to come in and we would figure something out. While driving to the dealership, smoke started coming out of the vents, the temperature gage blew and while pulling in the parking spot at the dealership there was a HUGE boom and the car died and smoke was pouring out of the hood. Needless to say that car was totalled! I paid $7500 for a car 6 weeks previously and now was told they would only give me $4000 for it! This dealership is disgusting! Dishonest THIEVES!!! Stay away!!!

They never called me when they say they would or to tell me what was going on with my car. They call to tell me I can pick up my car and when I get there my car ends up not being done (this happened 3 times). They broke a piece under my hood and fixed it with electrical tape. And this time no one would return my phone calls not even Bob Rohrman. I also feel that they don't really completed the multi point inspection as my tire treads were documented to all read the same tread when 2 tires are 5 months old and the others about 2 years. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone.

I've bought a 2013 Focus SE from here for two weeks. Everything is fine now and I enjoy driving this car. But I don't know why there is no back seat floor mats. I'm so tired and barely find a fit one from auto parts store. it's just cost $20 bucks why they don't just give me an official for Focus used floor mats?By the way, Paul Van Duser is a nice and friendly guy. After reading all the reviews on this guy you'd think you'll see him wearing tights and a cape like some sort of superhero. I met with Ron to buy a Ford Fusion Hybrid, by the way this guy is no superhero, he is a genuine human being just like you and me and boy is he fun to work with. He went above and beyond like a superhero and delivered everything he promised, he even traveled a great distance to get me the car I wanted. Seems as if Ron would do whatever was in his powers to provide the best experience anyone could hope for. So if your in the market for a car you owe it to yourself to stop in and see what Ron can do for you.

I chose this dealership because of the great reviews it has on this website, and I have to say I was not disappointed. I went in with a specific car that I wanted and didn't want anything else but that particular car. Ron didn't try to push any other cars on me and he asked me straight up if I wanted this car and if I would leave with it that day if he got it to a price where I could afford it. He didn't beat around the bush or play any of the games most salesmen play. Basically, I went in knowing what car I wanted and about two hours later I left with that car. It was a much quicker experience than I had been expecting. Ideen was also very helpful with the finance stuff; I just signed a bunch of papers and we were done. It was an excellent experience and I already have recommended this dealership and Ron to a friend who is looking to buy a car.

My husband and I wanted to buy a new Ford CMax hybrid and visited Schaumburg Ford. Mark Craven was an excellent salesman because he was knowledgable about the product, even though this was a brand new car in the ford lineup. He asked us questions about our driving habits etc. and listened to the answers to determine if this car was the best fit for our lifestyle and budget. He took us on a test drive and pointed out all the features of the vehicle. He explained all the different packages and prices that were available, such as the SE and SEL. After talking to him, we felt confident that this was the type of car that we wanted and he even helped us pick out the color! He and the new car manage, D. Jay Hattula did not try to pressure us and made buying a car a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend talking to Mark before you make a decision about buying a car.

We went in to this Ford dealer because my husband has bought other cars there. When it came time to buy me a new car we headed here first. Although I LOVED my old car it was definitely time for a new one. Ron greeted us as we entered and was gracious, accommodating and knowledgeable. He happily brought out as many cars as we needed to see before we settled on the right model. I also found Ron to be a great advocate for us, the customer. He was able to offer us a great price for our trade in and was very customer orientated. . I also found Ron to be very personable and I felt as though he was not giving us the old "song and dance" . I would definitely recommend talking to Ron if you are looking for a new/used Ford or car. Ron truly made the experience "easy".

Brian is not your typical pushy car salesman, he made sure to take the time and educate me on the vehicles that I came in to look at. I don't typically complete any review or surveys sent to me however the experience I had last night was worth letting everyone know about. To give you a little background, my son was away at school which was about a 2 hour drive to get to the dealership. Before he drove up he called the dealership and spoke with Ron Keller and asked about the car he was interested in. Not only did Ron pull the keys so no one could take the car and purchase it during our commute time but he also warmed it up, took it for a test drive and tried out all of the options like making sure the heated seats worked. When we arrived at the dealership Ron already had the car pulled up and ready to go for the test drive. (no waiting to get the location number then running to find the key then having to let it warm up,etc) I had shared with Ron that I have bought quite a few cars and I wasn't interested in doing the whole back and forth of haggling with numbers. He asked us what we wanted for our trade and surprisingly they came back pretty darn close to that number. The entire process went fairly quickly and very smoothe! Ron is a very personable man and I really enjoyed working with him. As a side note, Ron was also mentoring a newly hired Salesman (Brian) during all of this. It's great to know that the Management of this dealership also recognizes what a great salesman Ron is that they felt he was the right person to shadow/train someone new.Great job Ron!! I researched and found that Schaumburg Ford happened to have the exact car I wanted. They are 400 miles away from me. I called and asked for someone from sales and was sent to Ron. He got into my vehicle as fast as he could and test drove it for me. He gave me an honest report of what he found, what he liked and didn't like. From that I made an offer. I got a response withing 10 minutes (they even included their "paperwork" fee into my offer). I booked a flight and told them when I would be arriving and they picked me up from the airport. The car was exactly as described, if not a little better in my opinion. Two hours later I was driving the 400 miles home.Everything went as smooth as could be expected. The sales gentlemen were nothing if not over-eager to help me any way I asked. One wierd thing is my nearly perfect car did not come with floor mats... It could have been traded in that way, but who knows. All around I am happy I chose the car I did and that it was at the dealership it was. If they were less than 400 miles away I would probably go back for my next vehicle.

Ask for Gil Estrada the next time you purchase a vehicle! I stopped at Bob Rohrman's Schaumburg Ford wanting to test drive a used, silver Ford Escape. Their Sales Associate, Gil Estrada, took me for the test drive and answered the questions I had about the vehicle. Concerned about the turning radius in tight spaces, Gil helped me practice parallel parking. We discussed the car facts/history, pricing, and adding park assist and a hitch. After the financial papers were signed, Gil reviewed the vehicles operation, and the next day called to ask how the Escape was working for me. He also set up the appointment for the addition of the park assist and hitch, and when I picked the car up tonight, he helped me with the operation of the phone and audio system. I appreciate the knowledgeable professional sales assistance Gil has given me.

We went into the Bob Rohrman Ford to look at a couple of used Ford Edges. I had called the night before and gotten some information from Dave and said I would come in the following day. Dave gave me Juan's name, since he said it was his day off.Juan was very nice - he had the vehicle ready for us to test drive in no time. He answered all of our questions we had about the vehicle. In the end, it was a toss up between the used one we test drove and just getting a new one. This is where the manager stepped in - Paul (Bochenek?). He asked us what was the offer we got at the other dealership we went to, and suggested that we buy the new car from him instead. He said that he can probably make us a better offer. And he did.We have been shopping around for a car for almost a month at this point and have visited 4 different dealership. This one was the best experience of all of them. Paul was very nice, never pushy, and just gave us an offer we couldn't resist. They made the whole process very smooth and made sure they didn't waste any of our time. We filled out the paperwork and were told that we'd get a call when the car was ready (the car we wanted was not actually at this dealership). We went back the same night to pick up the new car. Sam from financing was great. He showed us exactly what our options were. Both Juan and Sam tried to sell us protection plans (not the same one), and we decided to go with the road assistance/dent/key replacement package that Sam was offering. Once again, neither Sam or Juan were pushy in selling the product, but focused more on presenting the benefits and the great value of each product. We went with "Sam's" product because we really wanted the dent repair option.Overall, I would give this dealership 5/5 stars. The whole shopping experience was great - the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful without being in your face and trying to sell you a car no matter what. In the end they gave us the best price for the vehicle we wanted and also included 2 years of free maintenance. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone who's looking for a Ford, whether it's new or used.

I was in the process of buying a new car and trading in my chrystler. I have not been car shopping in years previous to my recent purchas of a focus from Schaumburg Ford. I went to many dealerships in the woodfield area and aparently it was a complicated process to trade my car in, I got the vibe that I was being taken adavatage of since my knowledge of cars was clearly sub par. Ford was different they made it seem simple throughout all the steps. I would have saved my self alot of time if I just went to Ford in the first place. Ron the salesman I worked with showed me all the possible ways I could save money; tax savings on my trade in, rebates, and in store discounts. I left the dealership with a smile and was very happy with my experience.

I have purchased 7 vehicles from this dealership. I will have to say that I noticed an improvement when they turned to Bob Rohrman Schaumburg Ford. Not that there was anything wrong, just seems to be a greater focus on the customer. The staff in sales and service are always friendly and make you feel like your business is important to them. Even when I bring my cars in for service, for example like today, and walk through the showroom to kill some time, employees such as Nick Magdalin recognize my face and ask me how I am doing. I called the dealership after viewing a listing for a used minivan that was at this dealership. I called and spoke to Castro and asked if this vehicle was available. He called me back within a half an hour or so, and said yes, the minivan was there as described and listed. I then said i wanted to see it, and perhaps take it home right away if it looked as good as the pictures on the post. He assured me he would do "whatever it took to get the price where i needed it to be". i arrived about 1/2 hour later. I asked for Castro, and he came out right away and showed me to the van. I was horrified!! It looked NOTHING like the pictures that were posted for the listing on this minivan! I asked if perhaps this was the wrong one. He told me...No, it just needs to be cleaned up a bit. There were big holes in the carpeting in front of the drivers seat that were definitely NOT in the post!! The posting listed the mileage at 74,000 miles, while this van in front of me had 150,000!!?? I walked away and said I was not going to put up with that kind of typical bait and switch tactic. I was ready to leave but decided to go in and complain about what just occurred. I walked in and explained what had just happened and was extremely put off by their "typical car salesmen' tactics. It was 2-3 thousand more than the original price of the van i was looking at. I showed him the posting of what vehicle I came in to see, he blamed it on the advertising department getting the information wrong. So the sales manager brought me out to look at a similar car, and Uplander. This vehicle was now another 2-3 thousand more than the car I came in for. I was fed up and it just renewed by original thoughts about Car Salesmen...Typical liars, tell you what you want to hear, but clearly not what is right in front of you. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!! They use the typical BAIT AND SWITCH and try to steer you into something other than what they lured you in for. Had I read the reviews before i went in to look, then i would have stayed FAR AWAY...Better honest dealership is Infinity of Clarendon Hills!! I didnt end up buying from them, but they told me what they had upfront so i didnt waste my time.

Beware of smiling faces while they separate you from your hard earned cash, they tell you how they want you to be postively happy. I traded a truck in for a newer truck the sticker on the window and onlne said the truck had cruise control which I absolutely want. The deal took sooooo long I didnt think to check the cruise, was more worried about the way the truck ran and listening for noises during the test drive. On the way home I learned there was no cruise when I tried to turn it on. 2 days later I stopped back at Rohrmanns told the manager about no cruise and his exact words were We have a disclaimer on the sticker. Now they happened to leave the sticker in the truck and I read it beforehand its a disclaimer is for Kelly Blue Book saying they are not responsible for info put in not a disclaimer for Rohrmanns. When I mentioned this the manager he shrugged his shoulders as if to say tough luck and didnt say anything. I said I guess im stuck without cruise, to which his reply was nothing. I said I guess false advertising is ok here. He once again said nothing and I left before I got pissed. ALSO BEWARE DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, they did a credit check on me without asking and I didnt ask for or want credit. The salesman asked for my number I said why he said since 9/11 the government asks that all sales are accompanied with it. I then said so there will be no check and he said no, I wouldnt have given it if I knew they were going to do that. If the manager offered to buy the truck back I wouldve got another one from them even if it wouldve been a bit more money, but he offered nothing, just said WE HAVE A DISCLAIMER. So now im looking for another truck and have to go through the whole ordeal again, but I will not tolerate B.S. kindness from salespeople nor will I ever buy from Rohrman again. Also they gave me far from what Kellys Blue Book said my trade was worth. If you believe your trade is worth a certain value dont let any dealer pick it apart because remember they are not your friends and only trying to squeeze every last dollar out of you thats there job.

I went to Rohrman Schaumburg Ford to look for a 2013 F150 Raptor, which is a tough vehicle to find with a wait time of around 6 months. Chase and Nick informed me that they had placed an order for a Raptor a few weeks earlier for stock. In order to expedite the process for me, they replaced their order with my specific order to effectively let me "jump in line". Any time I wanted to get an update on the status of the build, they were more than happy to do make the calls and do the research. I received a call 3.5 months later letting me know that my truck had arrived. What a great surprise! The pick up and paperwork process was extremely smooth and easy, as everyone else involved was extremely helpful and friendly. The bottom line is that I love my new truck, and I cannot say enough about everyone at Rohrman Schaumburg Ford. They truly made the experience great. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a Ford vehicle.

The man had knowledge of the product and product's of ford.I also worked with Mario , the Service manager , nothing but professional service, asking all kinds of questions to make sure i was happy with the f-150 that I have bought.I also need to say that Max and the service associates plus the cashiers, were vary professional,all around a top notch Dealership!all around professionalism.I tell all my friends about Schaumburg Ford and will go nowhere else for service. Purchasing a car from this dealership was one of the biggest mistakes ever. Within one year of buying our "certified pre-owned" car, the transmission completely gave out. My husband called the dealership and spoke to an individual who told him there was no warranty on the car and to have it checked out by a mechanic. That is what we did. After doing our own research, we found out that there was, in fact, a warranty on the car. Since our mechanic simply checked out the transmission, Bob Rohrman Schaumburg Ford decided they were not able to fix the pre-existing problem which is now an estimated cost of $1,800+. We have not been able to drive our car for almost 3 weeks. If you want to be lied to and do business with dirty, used car salesmen Bob Rohrman is the place to go. If you want a more positive experience, do yourselves a favor and look elsewhere. Do not give this dealership your business. They do not deserve it. P.S. Bob Rohrmann, your commercials suck.

Went looking to purchase a specific car. Was met by salesman Khosros. We test drove a number of different cars. Found a car I liked. I gave him my drivers license to start the test drive process. Found and picked a car I like but didn't want the color. So he said he would show me the color i wanted. He then took me to a completely different car. Not anything I was even looking at. So we went back to the original car I liked. He said test drive again. He asked for my dl again (should have been my first clue that he already had me on file as we had been there 2 hours by then- why would he need it. ). The finance guy ,Chase came out, gave us a price $2000 more than what the sales guy "quoted" us. And when we showed him the quote on paperwork he said doesn't matter. His price is the correct one, and the salesman was wrong. So we said good bye and left. 3 days later we bought from another dealer. When asked for my dl I didn't have it. I called Bob Rohrman and emailed Khosros. The girl that answered said they didn't have it. Khosros called and when he found out that I already purchased a car he said he didn't have my license. So we searched my home, car etc only to not have it. Later that night when getting ready to call police and credit bureaus, I decided to try again. I called and all of a sudden my license was in the drawer. Well it had been 4 days now. Where was it the last 4 days???? My guess is the Salesman had it so I would come back. My guess is that I will never go back for the reason that Chase was a cocky finance guy who made his salesman look bad and the salesman made his self look bad by holding on to my dl for 4 days. I don't recommend.

I purchased a $5000 Used Ford Explorer and the next day took it to a certified ASE mechanic only to find that the dealership sold me a horrible, unsafe car. I had an ABS light, Airbag light, Completely flat spare, broken rear coil springs, and an egine that required $2000.00 in additional work; ormust now be completely replaced. This was not disclosed to me and after I drove off of the lot that the car had all of these safety issues or a bad engine. The dealership now claims that I bought the car used and as is. They will not fix the problems unless I pay for them. I expected that I would have purchased a safe, reliable used car from a reputable dealer; but instead am being told that I should have realized that the car had all of thee issues. I am no mechanic and had absolutely no way of knowing. Shame on this dealership for taking advantage of buyers like this. I wonder how many others have had a similar experience ...

My wife and I visited this dealership recently and our experience was horrible. After hours of loud music, high pressure sales tactics and ridiculous trade offers we were "allowed" to leave. I say allowed because they took our keys and held them hostage. Most of the salesmen appeared to be fresh meat and I later confirmed this by doing research on the web. Look at popular job posting sites and you will see they are always hiring. Mr. Sneaky Eyes looked through us and could not look you in the eyes when talking. Probably looking out to see who was after him. In all my years of buisness I have learned never trust anyone who cant look you in your eyes at all. Liar liar pants on fire kept telling us we can do this and that for you, anything you want we want your buisness. They desperately need the buisness from what I can tell.All the used cars on the lot appear to be junk, some have flat tires, most look like they were smacked up, and even saw one with enough oil under it that it would probably seize the moment it would be started. But they swear all used vehicles go through a "safety inspection". Yeah to safely pad their profits. A reputable dealer would pass this junk off to wholesaler to rid the liability.Stay away, far far far away. I hope Ford keeps a close eye on them and pulls this store away from them very soon. We ended up at different dealership (worth the drive!) When they found out where we came from they laughed and said Schaumberg Ford is on of our best referrals. They offered us a better optioned vehicle ($1500 less than Scamburgs best deal on a less optioned vehicle), more for our trade, and was in and out of there in 2 hours. Take my review seriously and do not go there and waste your time or money

I have grown used to the tricks and double dealing I normally see.The only reason I am writing this review is because this is the first time I had a fantastic experience in all these years at dealerships.I've been doing research online and had heard so much good news about ford's 2012 focus I stopped in schaumburg ford to see one. Ron greeted me at the door and showed me the car. Let me just say, Ron is not a typical sneaky salesman. He was professional and pleasant to deal with. We drove one and I was impressed.I decided to see what my cost would be and Ron introduced me to DJ the manager. Again, no silly tricks or high pressure. DJ showed me the numbers and explained my options. Total time to get car was less than two hours!But this wasn't all. After paperwork Ron and DJ spent time expxlaining how to use my car with my phone. I'm no spring chicken and even told them I didnt think I would be using the sync on the car for nmy phone. Boy was i wrong. I cant even program my VCR but Ron and DJ figured out how to make my phone work and showed me how to use it. Now I use it all the time.I have already reccomended Schaumburg Ford to my friends. Ron and DJ were a pleasure to do business with. Manager DJ even called yesterday to make sure my phone was still working with the car (i have an old cell phone). Love the car, loved the treatment. Good people to do business with.

I stopped in Bob Rohrman Schaumburg Ford and looked and quite a few vehicles and was reassured that the cars I was looking at passed a rigorous 121 point checklist, being reminded over and over they would never sell a bad vehicle to anyone because (and I quote)"It would give us a bad reputation."So I bought a vehicle.After purchasing the vehicle, and less than 200 miles later,the transmission gave out!! When I called back, I was told they couldn't help me. and I was told,..."with the amount of money you saved, you could buy a new transmission and still have a good deal" ARE YOU SERIOUS??THIS IS HOW YOU HANDLE YOUR CUSTOMERS?EXTREMELY POOR BUSINESS!

After my experience with this dealership I would never recommend anyone to purchase a car from this dealership. Me and my wife wasted at lot of time on Friday, Saturday and Monday trying to purchase a Ford Escape XLT from this dealership.On Friday June 8 the sales associate Kevin took couple hours to work with us and consulted with his manager D Jay Hattula to provide us a Ford Escape XLT for the agreed upon price with a V6 engine, heated leather seats, moon roof. We were told by Kevin and his manager D.Jay Hattula that we could come and pick any one of the XLT's on the lot. On Saturday June 9 we picked the XLT we liked from the lot. Kevin called us several times to make sure we were going to move ahead with the purchase. On Monday June 11 we went to the dealership to make the purchase. I actually signed the paperwork provided by Kevin that had the price ($22,000) and details of the vehicle being purchased and the downpayment information. My and wife and I were utterly shocked and disgusted on Monday when Kevin and a different manager came back to us and told us they could not provide us the vehicle for the price that was agreed and wanted to discuss other options (ie: a much higher price) even though on Friday and Saturday Kevin approved the price of $22,000 by his manager D Jay Hattula and also approved all the options include the V6 engine, Heated leather seats and moon roof.I would not rely on the deals provided by this dealership. They do not keep their word and their customer service is extremely poor. We wasted a large amount of time at this dealership with genuine intent to purchase a car within our budget that was promised.At this point we would not even purchase any Ford vehicles.

I've been working in customer service for over 15 years at one of the most reputable retailers in the Midwest, if not the nation. Salesperson, Brian was an honest and amazing guy who helped my wife and I with whatever we needed. My wife was pre-approved with her own finance company went in to inquire about a vehicle she saw on-line. She liked it and wanted to purchase it. Sales manager D.J searched for every reason not to give her the car due to the fact he wanted financing internally through one of his companies. We wasted two evenings there because he needed a phone call or paper work from my wifes lender. My wife made the call to her bank in front of D.J and he didn't even try to help the situation. The next morning we were told we would receive a phone call to straighten things out only to be blown off. My wife and I are hardworking people looking to make a simple purchase. We were warned by our finance company of the tactics pulled but could not believe our eyes or ears. We are also an interracial couple, we've never experienced such a level of frustration purposely put on us by D.J. I have purchased many vehicles from dealerships and so has she and have never been so frustrated in our lives. I will never go back and I will also let my fellow employees and friends know about our unfortunate ordeal with Schaumburg Ford.

Never, ever take delivery until the dealership has made "good" on all promises.(I forgot this motto - as Schaumburg's Bob Rohrman clearly disappointed with too many verbals - no action.My previous car was a Fusion that the dealer gladly installed a light duty hitch (for bike carrying). New Fusion at Bob Rohrman - service department refused, "we don't have that capability... please take it to our third party service".I explained that I would do that as long as FORD provided me an authorization for this work to be done. (on leased vehicles big penalty if you alter the vehicle)."oh sure it's okay" from D. Jay Hattula. I again repeated that I needed it in writing or the work to be performed by FORD. "Okay - we need a perfect survey report".... still without taking any corrective action."okay - I will check with our service manager". Subsequenty emails, and phone calls - still no solution. Just blown off.

I am new to the whole car buying process. When I entered this dealership I was introduced by the manager DJ. His comments were extremely rude and intolerable from the beginning. I remained considerate until the end when I didn't seem interested in any of his cars. I simply asked for a business card and he threw it at me, walked away without making eye contact and said "Have a nice day". All because I didn't purchase a car that day with him. I don't ever plan on coming back.

I came to this ford store because me and my wife had seen a SUV that they had for sale and for a price that seemed more reasonable than others, scheduled an appointment easily and met with Zach to look at and drive what is now my new ford edge. When we arrived we were ofcourse promptly greated by salesmen at the door. I told them about the appointment and one of them was kind enough to show us to where Zach worked in the internet department and introduced us. We actually ended up test driving 3 cars but settled on the perfect one, my wife loves it! The entire process was suprisingly painless! Zach was very professional and curtious as was the manager Mark and other sales staff. He was very attentive and flexible. This will not be the last car I purchase from Zach and I will definitly reccommend him to my friends and family.

Went to Bob Rohrman Schaumburg Ford to purchase a used truck. The salesman was a bit pushy and not so interested in our purchase as he helped other customers during our purchase. After about an hour wait we finally were able to sit with the financing deparment. We were charged $299 for a product that was never included on the truck. Still have yet to receive the $299 back! Bought the truck as is, but the dealership was to pay for an air bag light that was on. After having the truck for 5 days the check engine light came on. We dropped the car off for them to service the air bag light and requested that the check engine light be taken care of. After the dealer had the truck for 5 days we were told that everything has been taken care of. Well, not so much as that was a lie. The lights came back on within 3 weeks. Called the salesman and sales manager, they are not willing to fix the situation. I would NOT recommend ANY one ever purhcase as car from this dealership - they WILL rip you off.

Overall, I would say that Schaumburg Ford exceeded my expectations. I researched extensively for my Edge - looked at all of the Ford dealerships nearby and evaluated pricing. Schaumburg Ford was definitely the most aggressive in terms of price. Loving my new Ford Edge!

The service department was very prompt and friendly. They had car ready when I came to pick it up, freshly washed, and like - new clean. My sales person was very knowledgeable about all the cars on the lot and took the time to introduce me to the service department. Our interaction was pressure free, unlike the other dealerships I visited. I can't speak highly enough about the way I was treated, and my overall buying experience at Bob Rohrman Ford, perphaps the best way to convey this is to say that I've already sent my niece, who is looking to buy her first car, and close childhood friend looking for a safe family car to see the team at Schaumburg Ford, because I was so confident theyc'd be taken care of.

Bob's manner and decorum in working with my mother (79) was absolutely wonderful. His focus was on her and her needs. He kept things light and let us lead the experience in accord with our stated needs and wishes. We came in looking for two used Ford Escapes from internet research, but one had been sold. He was able to get my mother to drive the vehicle although she was still nervous from her recent accident which had "totalled" her own car (not her fault). After we were done and had returned to his desk, he asked what we wanted next. We also had two Ford Fusions we wanted to look at from our internet research. No problem. My mother ended up buying a Ford Fusion. The entire experience at Bob Rohrman Schaumburg Ford was comfortably and professionally handled all the way through the finance manager's office including helping us work with our insurance company pay out. I could not have had a better car buying experience at a time of great stress.

Nick, Mike, and Mark were all extremely kind, courteous and professional. My wife and I never felt pressured to purchase. First off great experience:My wife gets her car serviced at Schaumburg Ford. I was in the market for a baby mobile. Needed more room. I met DJay while I was waiting for my wife's car. Just a great guy. I told him I would be in the market for a car soon and that I liked the way they handle service to my wife's car.I was interested in the Ford Flex used. I went through like 8-10 cars used and new to get a feel for what I wanted. This took me a few hours on a couple days. Djay was there every step of the way.. NO PRESSURE! That was the best. He really got into what I was in need of in a vehicle. I never felt him push me to decide or sacrifice my wants for turning good numbers for himself. He really checked me a couple times and said, "I want you to be happy not just today... but for the time you own this car." That rang through for me greatly.Then when it came down to dollars and cents. I was truly blown away that I was able to get what I wanted in options but in a NEW vehicle rather then the used I was in there looking at. I will buy my wife's car here next for sure. As long as Djay is there. He made the buying experience not a chore but enjoyable. I even met the Manager, Mark Croft. Mark put the finishing touches on my deal and made the day with a great attitude at 11pm at night. Tough to do when I made them all stay late! ;)The price I paid was unreal for the sticker. I walked with a deal that is 2nd to none. NO JOKE. The friendliness from the porters to the finance guys to the GM. Seriously, this dealership is doing the right things! Customer for life here. Customer serivce was not combatant. Up to date the work my my wife's car has been flawless. They fix what needs to be fixed and dont pull the 'its a lady, lets take advantage'.Over all... I came back memorial day as Warren called me and told me that they are open and they are having a big sale...the sales manager randy came and greeted me right away and thanked me for coming back again...anyway he put me at ease right away and helped me out with my needs and told me that he will give me a great deal...he asked me what kind of car i am driving and i told him its a 99 expedition...he asked me if i was comfortable driving an expedition compared to the new explorer...to make a long story short...i bought a 2008 ford expedition eddie bauer for the payment i want and what me and my family can afford...i was very happy with my experience and would definitely come back and recommend this dealership and its personnel to my family and friends...

I bought a new Ford Fusion from Rohrman Ford a few weeks ago .I called around and Ozzie gave me the lowest quote. Some dealers wouldn't give me a quote over the phone and wanted me to come in. I told Ozzie I wanted to be out of there fast and they said no problem. So went in and meet Bob. I test drove the vehicle and Bob did everything else really fast. I got the Fusion SE I wanted for the price I wanted and I was out of there in 1.5 hours! Bob did show me some accessories but I told him I was in a hurry and that was that.ThanksRob

I found a used truck for sale on cars.com and emailed the dealer. they got back to me promptly. I went in to test drive it and liked it. If I was to buy the truck, I had to trade in my older truck. I told them how much I was willing to spend (truck - my trade in) they gave me a low offer which I refused. After making some calls, they agreed to my price. I was very happy, but they did try to add on a couple extra charges. I told them I wouldn't pay them, so they took them off, no problem. The extended warranty costs were very high, so I don't recommend them. Overall I was very happy with the price, my sales rep, and the used car manager. Just pay close attention to the details.

Tried to buy a used car from this dealership. They realized they did not want to match the price we wanted to pay for a certain used vehicle. So they had us test drive a vehicle they said that did fit into the price range we discussed. Their "ideal" car was a lousy excuse of a car that they should not be selling - it had obvious noises and issues - and I believe they did this manuever in order to trick us into buying the vehicle we came in to look at at a higher price.The salesman talked down to my daughter ("this is the oil dipstick, this is the battery"). Really??!! This was so obvious, offensive, and such an old-fashioned routine to talk down to a woman! We were all offended by this and the car trick described above. Plus they were such high pressure with us, making us wait while they talked with the sales manager multiple times, saing they wanted to be the "#1 dealer" and would do anything for our sale, "what can we do to sell you a car tonight", etc. But they had nothing else to show us other than the crappy "bait" car.This was my daughter's first time purchasing a vehicle, and it ruined the experience for her. We returned to our trusty Ford dealer nearby and will never come back to Bob Rohrman ever again!Beware: Bob Rohrman Ford is an old-fashioned dealership with old-fashioned sales "tactics".

We were promptly approached by a salesman, but we specifically asked for Ismael Pacheco because we have dealt with him when we purchased our last vehicle. Ismael was very patient and showed us numerous vehicles and helped us find the right car. Mike the finance person worked very hard to get us the car we wanted for the payment that worked for us. I recently took my vehicle in to get some mechanical things fixed and although my vehicle was fixed it came out with a nice dent and paint scratched off it. Needless to say I brought it up to the Mgr and he of course denied it was anything they did so I'm stuck with a $1049.00 (estimate) to repair the dent on my vehicle. Bob Rohrman Ford in Schaumburg IL is a piece of work.. It makes me sick to my stomach that this is how they do business. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone and my prayers would be answered if they went Bankrupt.

They could very well erase the sense of dread associated with purchasing a new vehicle.It was a pleasant experience overall. Some pressure to purchase was there. Not an overwhelming amount and it is there business.The deal was a little complicated because I wanted some aftermarket parts installed. One of them was special order. The order was placed in a timely manner but communication about the expected delivery broke down a little early on due to parts being ordered by the parts counter then relayed through Gunita to me. Working with Nick made the experience of purchasing my 2011 Ford Edge less stressful and easier than I had anticipated. We were in the Chicago area on our way home, 800 miles away in the Eastern Townships area in Quebec, when the inboard computer advised us that we were due for an oil change. Although we did not have an appointment, the great staff at Rohrman's did the work in less then one hour while giving all kinds of attention to our 110 pound Lab, Winston. From the moment I found the car online, Ozzie kept me posted on sales and incentives. this made it possible for us to pick the best day to go in and purchase the car. He was also available by phone and in person on the day that we came into the dealership and was very friendly and professional.Vince and Joe were our sales reps. (Vince is new so Joe was assisting him.) They worked great together and answered all of our questions. They worked with us to get us the best possible deal on our trade-in and showed us all the "bells and whistles" that our new car has to offer.Sam (I believe) was the finance representative that assisted with completing the sale. I was very impressed with the great service in every aspect. They were very quick, responsive and informative on every subject or question at hand. I felt very comfortable there even though it was pretty busy on a Saturday things went by very smoothly. All I can say is I wish other dealers were more like Schaumburge Ford. The reason we rated Bob Rohrman Schaumburg Ford with all 5's is: We have never had any problems with dealership. They are the best one that we have found in the Chicago Metro area. Ariel and the entire service department answer my questions even the ones that there is a noise in a area they fiind it and get it fixed. We used another dealer that is less than 2 miles from our house, whe were so unhappy that we are more than happy to drive the 20 plus miles even for an oil change.

I was working with two dealers trying to locate an EDGE SE under $30k. I stopped at Schaumburg Ford first and they were straight forward, showed the invoice pricing and gave me way more than I anticipated on my trade. Unfortunately, they didn't have a color in stock that I liked. I decided to try Niles since they had the car I wanted in stock. They were a 1 star experience. Called back Ismael and he worked on locating a car that I wanted. Came into dealership on Thursday to sign paperwork and then picked up the car on Saturday morning. Amazingly fast closing process. Arrived at 9am, did a test drive and were done with the financing guy and driving off the lot by 10am. Present extended warranty options in non-pressure way, upfront on pricing and respected my time. No games. One of the best car buying experiences out of 6 I've bought. Would definitely recommend.

Mike was very knowledgable about the vehicles I was asking about. Very patient with me when I narrowed it down to the F150. I wasn't sure about which color to go with and what liter I wanted in the V-8 motor. I also spoke with another salesaman by the name of Nick. He was also very helpful when I requested information about caps and bed liners. Today I brought my truck in for the "Protector package A". I was brought back home after the drop off. The driver was very nice and asked if I would need to be picked up when my truck was ready. Tom the service person I was dealing with was very nice and informative. He kept me up to speed on the progress of the truck. Turns out it took a bit longer than anticipated. That was okay because I was called well in advance of the expected ready time. I like to be kept in the loop about progress. That was very much appreciated. Overll my experience with Schaumburg Ford was one worth recommending to people who are shopping for another vehicle.

I brought my 2002 Focus in for service and Lou helped me out. The cost of the work was $1430 Lou explained to me his own personal story of how he gave his kid his old car and how putting the money in will go allong way. He never pressured me and was very understanding about the cost of the repairs and said "think about it and get back to me" This was great because most service people would just say the cost is the cost do it or don't I don't care. Thanks again Lou. I appreciate help and kindness.

They are fine until after the sale, then they would prefer you do not exist. I was lied to, and my car payment for the car I traded in was late, due to their incompetence. I would never shop there again or recommend them. The finance person actually lied to me about the warranty. The entire experience has been a joke.

Bob Rohrman Schaumburg Ford was a very welcoming dealership. The second I walked in the door I was greeted with a smile and enthusiasm. The salesman was able to locate the vehicle I had came into look at quickly and pulled it up right by the door for me to test drive. He identified characteristics on the vehicle that interested me and how they worked so I had a understanding of how they operated and would benefit me as a customer. I have always been reluctant to go into a dealership due to past experiences. However, this was a very positive car buying experience and will go back for future purchases. The entire process went smoothly with all of my questions being answered. I was more than 100% satisfied with all components of the process and feel that I received a great price for my trade in and the Ford Edge that I purchased. Rohrman Ford is the BEST dealership by far. They surpassed my expectations and gave me a great deal on a new Focus . I did not even feel like I was at a dealership. Ozzie and Jim were nice and helpful,Sam worked with me on the financing (Love the 0% for 5yrs), just decent professional people. They were thorough and did their best to get me a good price. No issues whatsoever, quick and easy. There are a lot of reasons whye I will recomend anybody there , The huge selection, fair pricing, and of course the staff. We went to the dealership to test drive a new Focus and to get more information on the car after doing most of the research online. Our salesman, Mike, was friendly and helpful without being pushy. We explained that we would not buy that day but would wait for all of our internet quotes to come in. Not only was their internet quote the lowest, but the price was the same online as it was in the dealership. Also, we bought a very basic model and no one tried to talk us into options we were not interested in. We told them what we wanted, and they delivered.

I visited Schaumburg Ford on 5-29-10 looking for a pre driven Focus.Upon arrival Pat introduced himself to me and showed me a late model SE With only 4000 miles. I had been shopping for about two months with no luck for a low milage vechile to fit my budget. Pat was very a friendly salesman with no pressure making me feel very comfortable being a single mother of two children. I recently visited Bob Rohrman Schaumburg Ford for a routine oil change. No one enjoys going to get service on their car. I know I dread seeing the mileage reach the point for me to get an oil change, but this visit proved to be different even though I have been a customer there for years.Right when I entered the dealership I noticed my car was taken care of right away.The service team kept me informed on the progress of my car from the minute I dropped it off to the second I got it back. One thing that really stuck out this visit was the communication between me and the service team. They gave me a thorough, detailed explanation of my car and presented me with all options that I could pursue (not just the ones that would benefit them). I decided to look into buying another car. Like most people, I feel like a fish out of water in a car dealership. I usually do my research before I get there so I know exactly what I want. This time I was going in blind and definitely felt a little apprehensive about it. My fears quickly vanished after talking with the sales team. The camaraderie of the team made me feel like I was a person and not just another dollar sign. They informed me about ALL of their cars letting me experience what the dealership had to offer, not just what I was used to. I couldnt believe how much I loved some of the cars I never thought I would like at all! At the end of the day, I was fit into a car that met all of my needs and caters to my lifestyle perfectly. I couldnt have asked for a more suitable car and I got it without spending hours of my precious time researching! I have been to this dealership many times before but have never had an experience close to my recent visit. The collaborative efforts the sales and service team drove me to buy a car that I completely love and couldnt be happier with. Schaumburg Ford has definitely changed for the better. My mom and I went shopping for a used car for her. When we stopped at Schaumburg Ford, Peter was more than happy to help us find what we needed. Much to his credit, Peter read the situation perfectly, determining that my mom was quite nervous about finding a new (used) car. Peter made my mom feel right at home, never applying any heavy-handed techniques so commonly employed by the typical used-car salesperson. Despite my mom's waffling over which car she liked best, Peter remained incredibly patient with her. Peter made this sale possible. Thankfully, the rest of the Schaumburg Ford staff performed their jobs as needed, although Pat seemed a bit defensive at times (he did handle a minor mechanical issue flawlessly) and Mike didn't seem to take us seriously once I told him we needed to consult with my brother (who wasn't present) before we made a final decision. In the end, after we did consult with my brother, we did purchase a car from Schaumburg Ford and we would recommend this dealership to others who are looking to purchase a car.

This was the second Ford place we looked at in a few weeks. We were just shopping for a new car but ended up leasing a new Ford Fusion from this dealership. We love the car and their customer service!We were Peter's 1st customers and this was our first new car we bought as a married couple. My husband was asked to cut Peter's tie for good luck, very entertaining.He was attentive and remembered our names right off the bat which is a plus in my book. He actually listened to what we wanted, asked questions, and was not pushy on the sale. The rest of the team (James and Sam) were very helpful and friendly. We went to several other dealerships (non Ford) but the experience was so-so.We felt like we were really taken care of at this place that we ended up getting a new car from them. We liked that fact that the Fusion was Motor Trend of the year. Sam did all he can to give us a great deal on our car:) We had a set price in mind and he got creative and they were able to get it down to what we were asking for:)The place was clean and up to date. They even gave us bottled water and they had a fresh popcorn machine in the building which was nice because we were there for a while (past dinner time). They weren't pushy and they allowed us to take our time in making our final decision. They didn't even mind that we ended up closing the place, but came out as happy customers. They cleaned up our car nicely and James was patient with us explaining how to use the features in the car, especially the bluetooth and sirus options:)Overall, great experience and we'd recommend this place if you're looking for a new Ford.
