Everyone at this service department, from John to the shuttle driver to the cashier, was friendly, helpful, courteous and professional. The shuttle service was efficient. John was especially helpful and kind. The fixed the problems with my Mountaineer quickly and inexpensively. I will definitely be taking my SUV back for all of its maintenance and I cannot thank them enough for their outstanding service.

Bought a service plan with my new f550. I've had it in four times for service. Thy change the oil, But never grease it. I took it back the first time and thy greased it as I waited. The next time I forgot to check ,to see if thy greased it. Now the fourth time I took it in. I checked the grease zerks, and thy never touched them "again". I did ALOT of research on the Ford Escape. I knew what I was looking for, and how much I could spend. I started e-mailing back and forth with Mike Barbour at the Ford Dealership at BOB THOMAS FORD in Ft. Wayne, and made an appointment to meet with him. I also was going to go to 3 other places to look at what they had. Mike made me feel comfortable as he showed me what they had, and he had exactly what I was looking for, and made sure that whatever he had to do to get my business, he would. He did not pressure me at all, and he made it happen. I got to drive it home that day! All of the guys at the dealership were super. I would encourage everyone to go to BOB THOMAS FORD in Ft. Wayne for their next purchase, and ask for Mike B. I think I will keep this Escape forever, but in case I don't, I will return.

I bought my second new vehicle from Mike Barbour. My daughter bought a new Expedition from Mike and highly recommended him to us as an honest and knowledgeable salesman. This is my first vehicle I have selected on my own since my husband passed away recently. Mike was patient with me when answering my questions and clearly explained what appeared to be some complicated features. I did not plan to purchase a hybrid but had done plenty of research on the internet on the Lincoln MKZ. There was a 2014 dark grey Lincoln MKZ (Hybrid) on the lot which I decided to allow Mike the opportunity to explain away some of my fears and doubts. Without too much high pressure, he convinced me that this was a perfect match for me. With the help of my daughter, I was confident this was the way to go. I actually completed the necessary paperwork that same evening and drove my new Lincoln off the lot the very next day. Mike told me to stop in anytime with questions and he would be happy to answer them. I did need clarification on one feature and this was done by Mike in a clear way with the assurance to stop again if more questions arise.

I submitted a review already but I did not see it is posted so I am posting again because I think it is very important to let it be know how dissatisfied our family is with this dealership. At the end of May we helped find my son what we thought was a reliable vehicle from this dealership. It was a 2001 Jeep Cherokee with 116000 miles on it. The SAME day we brought it home it began to leak antifreeze.... We purchased on a Saturday so we had to wait until Monday to all. We were told of course that we purchased it "AS IS" so it wasn't their problem. So we fixed it with our local mechanic that cost us around 700.00. Now here we are three months later and the engine completely blew and we are facing the decision of whether to fix it for 4500.00 (the price has went up since my last email) due to labor cost, or buying something else and having it be a total loss....I emailed the dealership Monday and OF COURSE STILL no response.....we thought we were purchasing from a reputable dealership....well I'm sorry but this is absolutely unacceptable and they have ZERO customer service. My son purchased this with his hard earned money with cash.....and I might add they still owe him 80.00 due to them not having any change that day and he way told they would send him a check ( NEVER saw that either) he leaved tomorrow for college with NO car and a very tough decision on what to do....THANKS Bob Thomas for your superb customer relations.....even buying "AS IS" is a risk but REALLY a blown engine and not so much as a email back.....NEVER again will you get mine or ANY of our friends and familys business....PLEASE people, do your research before you deal with this dealership....I sure wish we would have!

Bought a used 2001 jeep Cherokee with 116000 miles on it for our son in May. As soon as we brought it home it began leaking antifreeze.....we bought it on a Saturday and called first thing Monday morning to be told of course we bought it "as is" so it wasn't their problem. So we fixed the problem with our local mechanic at our expense which was around 700.00. Now here we are in August and the engine has blown and we are facing a Very tough decision on fixing it for around 4000.00 or just let it be a total loss.... Sent an email to the dealership a few days ago and of course haven't had ANY response from that. I understand the risk that you take buying a used vehicle but at the same time we thought we were buying from a reputable dealership and did not expect to buy a vehicle that gave us problems from the second we brought it home to now being out thousands of dollars and of NO concern of theirs. I'm sorry but this is just not right and now our son that spent his hard earned money on this vehicle is leaving for college with no vehicle at all......Will never recommend this dealership.

I was shopping for a used car for my thirtieth birthday. I can't stand salesman and neither can my mother. Naturally, I took her with me. I ended up buying a 2011 Ford Fusion. We both liked how honest Mike Barbour was. He is not a "salesman" when it comes to buying a car. He was more like a match maker. Any of the things I didn't want to "budge" on he was fine with. He asked me about my needs and then explained the pros and cons of every car I looked at. He actually had "sold" me the car before I ever saw it. It was being detailed and he told me all about it. He also told me about the couple who owned it before me. It was an old couple who were just wanting to get something newer. It was a nice story but I had doubts as to if it was true. While he was helping another customer I looked in the glove compartment to find the manual and there was an old Christmas card. It read to "Mom and Dad." Inside was an old bank envelope with shaky old fashioned hand writing on it. I looked at my mother and we both mouthed to each other, "He was telling the truth!" I have no doubt if I ran into Mike he would remember me. My mother is taking my nineteen year old brother there to get his first car. I live in Kalamazoo Michigan and had horrible service at their Ford dealership. The next car I get will be another Ford from Bob Thomas thanks to Mike Barbour. It's worth the drive for the service!

I've always bought used vehicles, so this was my first new vehicle purchase and a major purchase in my book. I'm usually leery of sales people but I soon learned to trust my salesman, Mike Barbour. He was quick at answering my 1000 questions and in the end, I did end up with exactly what he told me - no hidden surprises. I recommended Mike to my parents and they bought a new vehicle from him a few months later. They also had a great experience.

6/28/14: I felt it necessary to retract my review of Bob Thomas Ford in Fort Wayne, Indiana from 6/25/14. I was immediately contacted by two members of their Management Team after I posed my review. They were extremely disappointed in the way I was treated at their Dealership, apologized profusely and made it right. Their sincerity overwhelmed me. Thank you Greg, Mike and the two Tims for their special treatment! I am now the proud owner of a beautiful Edge! It happened to be my birthday, so happy birthday to me!

A few weeks ago we took our Ford Fusion there to have an oil change. While it was there they fixed a recall for the lug nuts, while driving down the highway our hubcap came off on the same wheel they fixed. Then a few days later then wrench light came on and the car lost all power so we took it to O'Daniel Ford where they informed us it was a recall on the Fusion. A day after they fixed it the same thing happened again so we took it back when they informed us that it was bad oil from the last oil change preformed at Bob Thomas Ford West. Now I am not for entirely positive this is the case but it seems pretty suspicious to me.

6/25/14: I received a voice mail from your dealership today, but no voice mail was left. I was in last Saturday to look at an Edge. The sales person didn't seem too concerned that I was there. He didn't ask for my contact information. I returned Monday afternoon, because I really liked the Edge. He didn't remember me, but I asked for a test drive. I asked for a quote, which included a trade in of my Madza CX-5. I waited for at least 3 hours and was given a poor quote. I was told that they had checked with a friend that worked at Madza. According to my salesperson, their friend from Madza, told them that the car was worth less than the blue book value. I will be forwarding that information to the Madza Corporate Office. I hope that they can track that friend down. While I was there, my salesperson received a call from another customer from Saturday. This customer was returning his call. I could hear the man speaking. I was amazed how much effort this salesperson put into this call. He told the customer he would search the auctions to find him the color car he wanted. If you can read between the lines, you know my thoughts. This salesperson told me how he had a return customer that came back a month after he made an offer, and had paid much more than the first offer. This was a ploy to make me buy the car, or as he said, may be gone when I return, or I would miss out on the discounts. I purchased my first used car from your Coliseum location in 2012 and while I knew shortly after the purchase, I made a horrible decision; I was put in the same situation. I waited for hours and purchased the car for way more than it was worth. My husband noticed shortly after I got home that the car had wheel locks. There was no wheel lock key. I returned to your dealership and the salesperson threw up his hands and told me he didnt know there was no key. He had a mechanic come out and search the car, as if he seemed desperate to help me. I had already searched the car. There was nothing he could do about it. Not only did I have to take the car to Indianapolis to have the wheel locks removed, but It cost me a fortune, which included new routers. Shame on me, but I have learned my lesson and will make sure that I post this where other women can read my experience with your dealership.

Impressed. I was looking for a specific Mustang. I wanted it bad enough I would have paid more than sticker price for it. Mike Barber found the one I wanted, moved it to his lot, and sold it to me at a fair price! I was also very happy with the way his managers treated me. I wasn't just another wallet. I felt like a part of their family. I don't think I could ever go anywhere else now.

I don't have the best credit and I don't like car dealers. I'm always afraid they're gonna charge me more than they should. Mike Barbour worked with me for like 3 hours and explained everything so I could understand it the whole time. I hope I don't have to buy another car for a long time but if I do I will definitely go back to Mike at Bob Thomas! Thank you!!

This was the 2nd time I went to Bob Thomas Ford. First time was last September when I bought a used 2010 Ford Fusion that was in awesome shape. Mike Barbour got me a great deal on this car after being upside down on my trade in. The car is awesome and fully loaded. The 2nd time I went to Bob Thomas was in December 2013 when I traded in my GMC Sierra for a brand new Ford F-150 crew cab. Tons of incentives by Ford and a great trade-in by the dealership got me into a new truck. Nothing is easy but Mike Barbour got a me a fantastic deal. If you go to Bob Thomas ask for Mike. He is the man.

I can highly recommend Mike Barbour if you are looking for a new or used vehicle. My daughter bought a new Expedition from Mike and told me how patient and informative he was to deal with. I was happy with the trade-in allowance I received and the ease of "closing the deal". After delivery of my 2013 Ford Flex Limited, I was a little overwhelmed with all of the electronics and special features this vehicle had. Mike told me to stop anytime with my questions and he would be happy to explain the features I didn't understand. I did stop a couple weeks after trying to figure out a couple of things, and Mike even went for a drive with me to further explain what I didn't understand. I love my Flex. I cannot think of one criticism from my dealings with Mike and Bob Thomas Ford North

I found this 2012 Ford Mustang online, 90 miles from home. I called and made a great deal over the phone. My wife and I drove to Ft. Wayne to complete the deal. It was the easiest car deal I have ever made. I can remember spending 3-4 hours at a dealership in the past. This Mustang was everything they said it was and more. We both love driving it especially with the top down. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle.

I recently went here to lease a new car. Initially, everything seemed great. The salesperson called me the day after I test drove a couple of cars, with a "great deal" on a 2012 Ford Focus. It was in my price range and was everything I was looking for in a new car. By the end of that business day I had signed the lease, made my first payment, and was able to take it home that night. Two days later everything went downhill. I received a call from the salesperson that leased me the car, two days after I took the car home, telling me I had to bring the car back. Apparently something didn't go through on their end, but they couldn't & STILL can't tell me what went wrong. I did nothing to break the terms of the lease agreement, but they THREATENED me anyways. They said they would call the cops and report the car stolen if I didn't return the car by the end of the day. Yes - that's right - the car I had signed a lease agreement for and made a payment on, they were threatening to report it stolen. Unbelievable. Furthermore, they wanted me to return my copy of the lease agreement, which seems quite suspicious. They left me high and dry without a car, without any explanations, and without any apology. I would not recommend anyone to ever lease or buy a car from here. Apparently, their leasing agreements are only binding on the customer's part and they can take the car back whenever they please without any valid reason or explanation. I can't express enough in writing what an awful experience this was. Don't waste your time here.

We went to 3 dealers on a recent Saturday January of 2013. Made Bob Thomas Ford the last stop because I read some previous bad dealer reviews on cars.com and wasn't going to even stop but they had a car we wanted to look at and the other 2 dealers didn't seem like they cared if we purchased or not.. To my surprise we were treated so much better by Bob Thomas Ford than the other delears. They have 2 Ft. Wayne stores, the one we went to on Illinois st. was the best car buying experience I have ever had. Maybe the bad reviews came from the other location I don't really know but Ryan was our sales person, he was fantastic all the way through the process. We purchased the vehicle we wanted at a fair price, he went out of his way to let us know exactly what was going on every step of the process. He even helped us make sure we had everything cleaned out of our trade and then set up my cell phone on the electronics of my used car I purchased which I doubt if I could have figured it out. Then even more to my surprise the financing process was very professional and very quick. The finance person tried to sell us other products as usual at every dealership but did not push us or make us feel guilty when we said no. My wife bought a used car last yr in South Bend and it took almost 2 hrs just to do the financing and sign the paperwork and here it took about 30 min and we were done. We drove 50 miles to shop for a car in Ft. Wayne and it was well worth the drive. From the moment we drove on the lot until we drove off with our "new" used car we were very satisfied. I even wrote a bad experience on a dealership we visited the prior weekend. Thanks to everyone at Bob Thomas Ford and a special thanks to Ryan.

As we got on the lot and started looking we were greeted by a nice man. We test drove the vehicle we were interested in and so we went inside to do the fun part. The cars salesman was the nicest person at that lot probably. The finance manager or who ever he was, was very rude and it disappointed me because I really liked the car and salesman I was dealing with. To me he was rude as soon as we met him so I just stopped everything and told him there was no reason for him to be rude and got up and walked out. I would not recommend anyone to buy a vehicle from this dealership!!

My visit to BOB THOMAS FORD was the most unprofessional experience. I have ever had with a car dealer. I stood the whole time i was there, the sales guy was not attentive. and the manager did not speak to me. We were unable to meet on price, which is understandable, but they tried to put me in a car I did not want. They wasted alot of my time, and I did not once get a straight answer. Perfect example of why car sales has the reputation is has. I wanted the car and would have even paid a little more, but I was not going to give this company my business after the way my deal was handled. I will go to thier competition and pay a little more, if I have to. I was ready to buy.
