Brought home our new vehicle last night (new to US) and couldn't be happier with the service from Dan McDuffy. We were apprehensive to use dealer financing, because so many times we have heard horror stories about other dealerships. So we went in pre-approved from our lender. I bought a used 08 f350 from the mystic store. Had numerous issues with the truck. Had to have it towed twice to dealership and brought it there an additional 3 times. Would only warrenty the motor since it was replaced. I had complained the transmission was slipping. The service manager said it was fine. And documented no issues. Within 5k miles transmission blown. Valenti refused to cover it.

Our family has been dealing with the Valenti's in Wallingford since 1956. We were shopping for a 2016 Jeep Cherokee I had first talked to Eric Goodwin on the phone and we set-up a date to come down to Mystic. He hooked us up with salesman Boof Bonser. What a great guy Boof is no games, straight forward and didn't force anything on us. Eric was also very honest and great to deal with. When it got to talking to the business manager Sam was also not pushy and he got us a great rate on a loan! We have a fairly unique situation where we tow an 8,700 Airstream around the country with our two young children who are in car seats. Tom Smith - Chevrolet Salesman called me because I had visited the website looking for a car. I told him that I owed more money on my 2011 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ was worth and he asked me to bring the car into dealership so they could appraise my car. Well, I did go and I was able to buy a 2015 Malibu LTZ! I had to leave the dealership for a couple of hours for an appointment and Tom called me to let me know that I was all set. Needless to say, I was very happy. This was an unexpected Christmas present. Nancy explained everything that we need to know about the different options that were available to us for the warranties that are offered. They stayed late to make sure that we were all set. I love Valenti Chevrolet because they provide FREE lifetime oil change, Chevy service is open on Saturdays and now they have the Valenti's list which list many companies that provide a discount on purchases AND if you are business owner, you will receive free advertising in the day for your company in The New London Day newspaper. We have bought all of cars from Valenti's Auto Mall for many years! We will never go anywhere else!

The Light House is a non-profit agency provides community based,functional academics and life skills for children and adults with disabilities, with the mission "to educate and prepare for life". We use mini vans to transport our students. The vans needed to be replaced. We went to various dealers to find out what was available in our budget. With all the state cuts, staying on budget was important. Brian Gates at Valenti's in Mystic was the only one who listened to our needs, initiated visiting us to see what we were using and then followed through with finding the best deal. I knew the car I wanted to buy when I walked into Valenti dealership. After checking online with numerous CT and out of state dealerships I realized it would be difficult to find my exact car and might have to order it from the manufacturer as only one place in the New England area had this particular vehicle. My husband Bill and I visited Valenti's early Sept. '15, we were warmly greeted by Vern, after exploring a couple options we decided on the model and price we were willing to pay. Explaining we were in no rush to purchase a vehicle we left Vern to his vehicle search. Over the next few weeks we received a few calls letting us know he was available when we were ready. Late Oct. we were sitting at Vern's desk, he found our exact match, he crunched numbers until we were satisfied with the deal, an account was setup with the local credit union which matched our low interest rate. Within a few days the car was picked up at an out of state dealership, delivered to Valenti where it was detailed and transferred over to us. Everything was arranged at our convenience, no push/rush, in a very relaxed atmosphere. It' been 1 year since, if I were to do it over tomorrow I would be calling Vern; his patience, respect, overall attitude during the buying process is the epitome of true professionalism. Dick Durishin was an excellent and honest dealer. I came in to look at the Camaro SS and was professionally greeted. He did not push me into settling for a vehicle on the lot, and allowed me to test drive the automatic version they had. I was up front about what I wanted and he searched for a vehicle I was looking for-they found one for me within a few days. During that time I did my research both on the price I could get, my trade-in value, and checked reviews of Valenti. They had a high rating, so I decided it was worth going over an hour out of my way to get a car from them. Dick was patient and worked with me over the course of 2 weeks, to find me a vehicle, do my appraisal and get the paperwork signed. Although long (mostly because I couldn't get to the dealership except on the weekend), the entire process was painless on my part. Valenti Chevrolet worked to make a deal and gave me a fair offer for my trade-in. When it came time to sign my paperwork, the finance team didn't try to push the extended warranties, or any of the other "extras" that usually get thrown at you in the finance office. Bottom-line, every one was happy. I felt I got a good deal on my new car and they got a future customer. If you find yourself looking for a Chevy, go to Valenti, it was definitely the best car buying experience I have had so far.

Okay...so I had a little glitch with Valenti and the beauty was Mike Williams! Mike is the go to guy if you need help (not sure about the rest of them..that's questionable) But from personal experience this Service Manager is the bomb! And that's the way it should be.In fact...my experience tells me that he's so good...he sould be running the entire Service Department. If he was...I'd give Valenti 5 stars across the board. Perhaps they'll give him a raise after seeing what a stellar guy he is and that it's employee's like this that keep Valenti's up and running! Thanks Mike! :)

My wife and I saw a beautiful blue 2011 Convertible Camaro on-line and talked with my neighbor about the potential for buying a car. He recommended I go down to Bob Valenti's and talk with Mr. Tom Smith. My wife and I went down to the lot and was greeted by a total professional. Tom was courteous, informed and supportive to all our needs. We came to the dealership late in the day and throughout all of our discussions, I never felt rushed and it was like talking to one of my good friends (although we just met). Valenti's prices were competitive and straight-forward. We ended up purchasing 2 cars that night, which fit both our budget and lifestyle. The finance manager Nancy Heath was an absolute joy to do business with. She was professional, courteous and had an amazing level of knowledge regarding vehicle financing/support. Nancy and Tom made such a great team and created such a wonderful car buying experience for us! When we are in the market for another car, we know just where to go. The service department had great communication and took great care of our cars. I can't wait to get my first oil change with them, because that service comes with the purchase of a vehicle.

Vernon Mitchell approached me, we engaged in conversation and proceeded to take a look around the lot. Anyone who can stay polite and professional after riding with me while I give a white knuckle test drive deserves much praise. My husband and I were looking to replace an older pick-up truck. My requirements were: a work truck with AC, automatic transmission and rides well over bumpy roads...fast. The operative work is "fast". My husband let me drive first because he knows how I love putting a car through its paces and watching the look on the sales reps faces whilst I drive. Boof made it through the test drive remarkably composed (must be that professional baseball training) white knuckles and all even after driving circles through the back parking lot full of pot holes. My husband and I pretty much knew what we were looking for when we got to Valenti and Boof took us straight to the Ram 1500 Hemi 5.7 Liter that we test drove and bought! Great truck! Great Guy!

My car buying procedure usually consist of shopping at 3 different auto dealers for the make I want. Valenti Toyota was my final stop. The salesperson I dealt with was Chuck Luther, this turned out to be very fortunate experience for my wife and I. We purchased a Camry Hybrid with all the bells and whistles and also closed out the lease on our Rav-4 by purchasing it. Chuck handled all the necessary paperwork (including registering both vehicles out of state) and saved us over $1500 from the best price we had previously been quoted. In a few months we will be in the market for an additional Rav-4 and you can be very sure we will deal with Chuck at that time.

My wife & I would recommend Bob Valenti's Toyota dealership in Westerly, RI to anyone. We have worked with Chuck Luther over the years in the purchase or lease of four cars & one truck. Chuck is honest, professional and very knowledgeable about Toyotas and the automobile business in general. The dealership provides good service and is spotless.

I am a full-time concert technician and musician. Since 1997, my wife and I have purchased a total of 9 Toyota's from Valenti, all from Chuck Luther. As a musician himself, he has always made us feel like family when we come into the dealership. He has made every purchase a smooth and enjoyable experience. His understanding of non-traditional jobs/income structures has helped us find the right financing every time. He has reached out several times with trade deals for our hybrids that made it possible for us to continually upgrade our vehicles to keep up with my very demanding driving routine [40,000 + miles a year]. This in turn has helped us save tens of thousands of dollars in fuel expense over the last decade. In fact, I could not see doing my job, which takes me from Washington DC to Maine, without a hybrid vehicle. We are now on our 3rd Prius and a Highlander Hybrid and can't imagine doing my job or our family outings without our Toyota's. Nor could I imaging buying a Toyota from anyone but Chuck. Over the past 12 years or so, my wife and I have purchased 4 vehicles from Valenti Toyota through Chuck Luther. He has always been courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and very easy to deal with. After six weeks of searching and two unsatisfactory dealerships, my husband and I took a trip to Bob Valenti Ford. We were greeted by JIM KEANE who immediately showed me the two used cars I was interested in. After driving both cars, Jim helped us so that we were able to purchase the car of our choice. I already had a pre-approved loan which he immediately accepted, unlike the other dealers I had been to. He even delivered the car on his day off and never complained when we got stuck in traffic and were an hour late. Just drove down to Florida and thanks to Jim I know I made the right choice.

When I first arrived to the dealership I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. I've had some pretty terrible luck on my journey to buy my famiy's new car. I look very young and a lot of the dealerships that I had gone to before Valenti's, everyone I talked to didn't seem to take me serious when I told them what I was looking for. So here I am looking at a few different vehicles on the lot when a gentleman actually came around driving a new pick up and asked if we had spoken with a specific salesman. I told him that I had just gotten there and hadn't talked with anyone yet, and he immediately drove the truck over to a parking space and came over to help me. He was extremely thorough in asking questions as to what I was looking for in a new vehicle, and asked if I had anything in mind. After I gave him my list, he agreed that the car I was interested in seemed to be the best option that they had at the dealership and immediately suggested that I test drive it to make sure that I was happy with it. After when we sat down to talk numbers, he made sure that we were accommodated with snacks and beverages as well. He was extremely funny, a genuinely nice guy to talk to throughout the entire process. Tom Smith is the only car salesman that I will be going to. He continues to follow up with me to this day to make sure that the car I bought meets not only mine, but his standards as well. He made something that had been so difficult smooth and simple and I cannot thank him enough.

To start, I have been searching for months for a vehicle. I live 4+ hours away from Bob Valenti's dealerships. When I called, I was expecting nothing but the same old "come on in and we will make it happen" gimmick. No way, not here! I spoke to Jason Crandall and right away he understood that 300 miles for a hope the numbers work was not reasonable. He took my information and my wants and needs and did all the leg work. In no time, he called me back with the deal done. I mean fast fast. He gave me fair market for my trade in, good deal on the new vehicle, treated me with the utmost respect, and said and did exactly what he said he was going to do. I cant say enough good things about my experience with Jason and the dealership, only that my family and friends all know that if they want to be treated right, we are taking a long car ride to best dealer I have ever worked with.

I met Jason Crandall for the first time in April of 2012. I explained to him that now living here in the country (formerly from Brooklyn, NY) I needed powerhouse vehicle to tow my boat, remove my water front docks for the winter and have room enough for additional grand children that had just arrived. Me, owning a Lincoln Aviator for 9 years and 3 Lincoln vehicles before that, who would convince me that the Durango was for me. Well Jason did. He explained the vehicle from front to back and convinced me that this was the one. So now in 2015 I contacted him again and asked him what would be the equivalent of what I have minus the rear seating. Well again, he recommended the Grand Cherokee. I did not even have to go there for a review. I discussed with him on phone what I wanted, he had the vehicle in two days, and upon arriving all paper work was done. Who could ask for anything more.

I drive a long way from northeastern CT to buy cars from Jason Crandall. I buy because of him. He makes it a all work. No pressure. Price always on the mark. I do research and my trade in value both times better than I expected. Yes I do research there. But I only buy from Jason. He's very cool, understands my disability and makes it happen. No I'm not related. And it might seem a little glowing but hey, the experience is so relaxing. I get some people might have different experiences but I'll always buy from Jason. Just purchased a 2014 Chrysler 200 along withe the gloss protection. After taking the car home, we saw tar and scuff marks on the vehicle which should have been removed when the gloss protection was done. Therefore, the gloss protection was not applied. We spoke to the sales rep and he apologized and said the only thing he could do was have it applied when we go for our first free oil change. That's all they could do for us! We also found papers in the pocket of the seat from the previous owners. How can I trust them to do a FREE oil change when they didn't do what I paid for? But I have to say our sales rep was excellent.

I then recieved email from sales woman who stated she was putting together infor on car I was interested in and would get back to me shortly...Next day said car is not available any longer. Car is still listed on Cars.com though

Everyone was professional and showed respect for my opinion and questions during the test drive. After thinking about the car for a few hours, I called and was connected with Rob Valenti. After a brief negotiation, I bought the car. Great dealership and outstanding customer service.

My truck was totalled during a severe storm this summer. I searched cars.com for a month looking to replace what I had, and came across a vehicle listing. The salesman was kind and very polite,and understood my need for a vehicle. But unfortunately the general manager didn't want to deal for a lower price. This vehicle had been on their lot since Feb. 2012. After much discussion with the salesman, they did agree to lower the price, but very slightly.
