After more than 14 years as a loyal customer and 5 different purchases I am leaving Lexus based on their service department. Where did the customer service go within Rahal's service department. In the past working with Erica and Kate things were amazing. They were on my holiday card / gift basket list. They are no longer customer facing reps. Progressively over the last few of years it has declined significantly.Recently I had a new tire blowout going >70+mph on the turnpike. After several back and forth discussions they only agreed to pay 50% claiming a nail caused the blowout. I'm hard pressed to understand how if it was a nail why didn't I get any low tire pressure notice at some point before the blowout happened? If it was a nail, then why pay anything at all? Shortly after that, while having my car inspected and explained that there was a shimming that started just after the tire incident. They called and said it's part of the normal wear and tear and while the rotors were in good shape the could grind them, but they didn't recommend it. Every attempt to call the service department to discuss options to look at the car since the vibrating was getting worse when breaking or turning, was met with automated voicemail options. Reaching a person these days is difficult. They called back to explain the next booking date is more than 3 weeks out. Today I took the car to a certified technician who explained the tires were not in balance and the new tire was worse than the other three. He went on to explain the rotors are in bad shape and need replaced. I've know this technician for more than 16 years. He worked on both of my sons cars and even helped my oldest decide to buy the new Lexus RCF. I am just glad he now lives in San Diego and is having a wonderful service experience. While I haven't decided which brand I will buy, I can tell you it will not be another Lexus nor will it be from a Rahal dealership.

There are lots of cars in the category that are close in comparison. It is all about the professional and competent way they approach the sale and most of all it is the service that continues after the sale. Of course I consider other companies and products before I make a purchase but I keep coming back to Bobby Rahal because I know that my car and me, when it is time for service, will be treated in the same professional and competent way after the sale. This was my first purchase from Bobby Rahal Lexus. Sadly I cannot afford a new Lexus, but even purchasing a used Lexus, I feel I was treated the same as someone who could buy three of them! A friend told me about the customer services they offer, and as soon as I visited them personally, I was sold. My salesman, Bill Hartman, was as patient as you can be with someone who asks a million questions. It was my first time buying a push-button start car, so the only constructive criticism would be for those of us unfamiliar with this feature, you take a little extra time to ensure customers are aware of how it is possible to turn off the vehicle but leave the auxiliary power on. Wouldn't want others to find a dead battery at the end of the day like I did. However, Bill and Bobby Rahal made it right. Aside from this, I was thrilled with my experience and would highly recommend Bill and this dealership to all reading this review.

This is the 2nd RX350 that we bought from Rahal of Mechanicsburg. There are other closer dealerships but this is where we felt most comfortable. We live 1 1/2 hours away so we couldn't just pop into the dealership when we had questions. Ed Woolford was very prompt and knowledgeable in returning my "many" phone calls. He was very forthright about what packages and colors were more readily available and which might take longer to acquire. He made this a very positive experience.

This was the best experience I have ever had purchasing a car. We had a two and half hour drive, to the dealership and the first thing we were offered were refreshments. After we purchase our car, we were given a gift certificate to a local restaurant to get lunch, while our new car was being washed. I have never had a car dealership buy me lunch. Ron Stine was so nice to work with, no hassles, just good service. He explained all of the cars features and could not of done enough for us, even offer us water or soda for the trip home. We were treated like royalty. I would go back to this dealer again. Car was purchase at a fair price and even gave us some some parting gifts. The most I ever got at a dealership was a key chain. Great place to buy a car, first time in my life, I felt, I got a good deal.

I recently was shopping for a vehicle, and happened to stop at Bobby Rahal Lexus, not expecting to be able to afford a vehicle here. To my surprise, I was elated to find a 2010 Lexus ES 350 (one owner preowned and pre-certified) with only 17,105 miles on it.....like a BRAND NEW LEXUS!!! Immaculate, to say the least!! The price was great, and the Financial Manager was able to get me a great interest rate, as well. The whole experience was AWESOME!! I will definitely be dealing with this dealership from now on. I searched the entire U.S. online for the Lexus I wanted with the right price, features and mileage. When I decided on the car I wanted I contacted Jason Smith at Bobby Rahal Lexus. We agreed to a price for my trade in and a price for the new car via the phone and email. Jason was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Once we agreed on everything I drove the 1200 miles from Tulsa, Oklahoma to Bobby Rahal Lexus. Once I arrived the car was in immaculate condition. The buying process was very simple as there were no last minute "surprises" or changes to our agreement. Jason then took the time to demo all of the features on my Lexus and answered all of my questions. He followed up with me several times on my drive home to make sure everything was meeting my expectations and assuring me I could call his cell phone anytime I had questions. What are the essential qualities one looks for when making a purchase. I believe the interaction with salespeople gets the highest consideration. When you make contact with a person like Dave Snyder you gain a sense of trust that he will be fair and do his utmost to make your purchase one that you will feel a pleasant experience. I have purchased 5 Lexus from this salesperson including one for my daughter since the year 2000. Everytime he has gone the extra mile to make sure we have what we want and 100% completely satisfied with our purchase. When I enter the dealership I ask for him by name and when he is not there the other salespeople make sure that he knows to get in touch. I can only that if all sales were like this it would be a lot more difficult to make a purchase. Thanx again Dave you've done a fantastic job for us

This is the second Lexus LS that I have purchased from Bobby Rahal Lexus in the last 10 years. My 2004 LS served me well due to the outstanding service performed by their maintenance department. They provided me with pick-up & delivery service with no additional charge. While my vehicle was in their position it was well cared for & returned on time, with no incidents. I did not want to trade in my LS 2004, but after seeing the new LS AWD 2015, I was compelled to make a move. The sales person, David Smith was very professional and kept me informed on the delivery date & additional services available. Great vehicles and great customer service from the Internet manager to my salesman, Jason Smith and the finance dept. They are also willing to negotiate on price and actually gave me a price $100 below what I offered. I was supplied a carfax and a rundown on the 161 point check that was done by the service dept. The car also had a new tune-up and oil change and expert detailing. The car was everything that was advertised and then some and in beautiful condition. The dealership itself is everything you would expect a Lexus dealership to be. From the spotless showroom to the flat screen tv, Keurig, cold drinks and snacks in the waiting area everything was top notch. From test drive to signing I was out of the lot with my new car in less than 3 hours. I would highly recommend Bobby Rahal Lexus to anyone looking for a quality car and a staff that is friendly and helpful in every aspect of auto sales. Five stars all around.

What a great Experience! Dave Snyder is one class act. This will be the third Lexus I have purchased through Dave at Bobby Rahal Lexus. They are second to none when it comes to taking care of their customers. Lexus Quality????? I have owned Lexus for 12+ years now. The quality and dependability is outstanding. Total of 250,000 miles with no problems with any of the vehicles. 160K on my first RX 300 never one problem other than routine maintenance. 80K on the second, never one problem and it still drives like new. I traded the 2013 RX with 26K for a 2015 RX. Both cars are a dream to drive. I drive about 20-25K per year. Excellent Vehicles!

I have been coming here for 8 years and everyone from Glen Smith (used car salesman) to Barney (Sales Executive) to Kate in Service has always provided world class service. It is so nice to come to the dealership and not feel like you are getting robbed. Service rates are reasonable and any parts I have ever needed have be comparable to the many independent garages in the area. In fact, I once had to take my vehicle for service to another garage in the area, less than a year later Bobby Rahal Lexus ended up fixing the poor work the other garage previously completed incorrectly. Only issue I have with the dealership, they are not always willing to move to a more competitive price on vehicles that are for sale; therefore, keeping me from giving all star rating. In fact, had to buy my most recent vehicle at another dealership as painful as it was. Ill miss the service. Regardless, give accolades when they are do.Keep up the good work Bobby Rahal Lexus!

My experience at this dealership was good. I enjoyed working with the sales person even though he was not completely knowledgeable about the car I was purchasing which was a Honda. Most of his experience is with Lexus. However this was not a problem for me since I have owned other Honda automobiles. Of course I had to take the car to my own mechanic to have everything checked out and there were a few minor items that needed to be fixed. This disappointed me because the sales person told me that all the cars they sell are checked out and repaired before being placed for sale. One of the items that needed fixed was something that the Lexus service department supposedly fixed before the car was placed for sale. I am not sure if the item was not really fixed or if it was done incorrectly. All of the staff was very pleasant.

Over priced non negotiating sales people I have ever seen. They use this thing called market driving value which is bull cause every other dealer I found had the same car with less miles for a whole lots less. That was gonna be my second purchase through Bobby Rahal first one was Acura so I consider myself I valued customer but not them they act like they don't need your money. Well fortunately I found the same car a few miles away that was suppose to be market driven for a lot less No flaws less miles.

The dealership is extremely overpriced and took advantage of my daughter. A check emission light was resulting from a malfunctioning thermostat. The bill - $267.00, labor and parts, including a gallon of antifreeze which was used to top off five or ten different cars.This is exactly the kind of conduct which causes most people to distrust the industry.

I'd give this dealership higher than fives if I could, and hands down my internet sales agent, Jeff Whittington should get the credit... I've been in a market for a pre-owned BMW 3 series coupe, for close to 3 yrs.. I knew what I wanted, it was just a matter of where I would get a great deal, but also great customer service.. Unfortunately that doesn't always go hand in hand and over the past few yrs deals had fallen through because of the lack of one or the other.. After the past experiences I had, I was dejected and thought that I'd only get my car if some far miracle happened.. But then I found Bobby Rahal Lexus via cars.com and started talking with Jeff via email/phone. He and his manager made me a deal I couldn't refuse.. Jeff went above and beyond to make me comfortable with the whole process, sending me pictures etc (Dealership is 3 hrs away from me).. Till the day I went to look/test/purchase the car, I was still doubting that the car was as good as it was described... But everything that I was told was true, the car was immaculate.. I walked out that day with the keys to the car, and a grin from ear to ear :) If your in the market for a car, used or new (they are a Lexus dealership) Do yourself a favor and give them a look.. I first want to say, that I RECOMMEND this dealer to anyone in the market for a quality car with even better customer service. I'm an active duty military serviceman in southern Maryland. I was looking to buy a certified pre-owned LS460. I knew almost everything about the car itself, so choosing my car wasnt a problem. The fact that I live 3 hours and 40 minutes away from the dealer, only being able to view the car online, and having a previous bad experience buying a LS460 with hidden frame damage had me skeptical about even considering Bobby Rahal Lexus.After I was approved for my loan from my primary bank, I then looked up certified pre-owned LS460s on cars.com. Being the particular person that I am, I wasnt going to settle for just any LS. After finding the car that I wanted, I sent Bobby Rahal Lexus a message from the cars.com website stating that I was interested. About 5 minutes later I received an email response from Jeff Whittington (Internet Sales Consultant). I asked Jeff "how does the car fax look and do you do military discount". Jeff then sent me the carfax and told me the Lexus does provide $750 military discount. Even with that information I was still unsure about driving so far to get the car, meanwhile there are at least 6 Lexus dealers in the DC area, which none of them had the car with exact options that I was looking for.After hours of contemplating rather to buy local or drive a whole state away, I said to myself if Bobby Rahal Lexus would give me the military discount and throw in a courtesy smart access key, then I'd commit to them (my compensation for the drive). Jeff was able to get that approved. The only thing he forgot to mention in the beginning was that I needed to finance through Lexus in-order to get the military discount. Once he kindly explained the situation, I faxed my information to him to apply for a loan through Lexus Financial (meanwhile I already had financing). Last year I applied for a loan through Lexus with good credit and was offered a 12% APR, so I almost didnt want to waste my time attempting again. Once I decided to make that drive (after work), I received a call from Nga Tran (Finance Consultant). She not only informed me that Lexus said they would beat my current interest rate at 5.99% (from my personal bank) and gives me a loan 2.9% but they were willing to give me the loan at 72 months instead of 60 months to match my request from my bank. As I was driving up there, Nga also explained to me in full detail about the warranty that Lexus provides that comes with my car with options for an extension. Lastly she informed me that all the paperwork would be set up before I got there since Ive been working all day and had a 7 hour 20 minute drive. When I arrived I was greeted by Jeff who Ive coordinated the whole deal with, then introduced to Edward Woolford (Sales Consultant). Ed was the perfect salesman! We went over all the detail of the vehicle, he explained everything to me in detail on the things I had questions with. He walked me through the history of my car, because he consistently dealt with the previous owners and also the history of the LS model. After going over every detail with a fine comb, I decided to get the paperwork started. As promised I received my discount, my smart key access card as I requested, along with a very nice courtesy Lexus umbrella. To sum up my magnificent Lexus car buying experience. Jeff got me the deal that I wanted (price and incentives). Nga got me financing through Lexus and beat the financing from my own Credit Union. Lastly Ed ensured I knew everything about my car before I drove off, slowly walked through all the paperwork explaining everything on every page, took me to Enterprise to drop off my rental car, he even went to Enterprise to recover my hat that I left in the car and mailed it back to me. Not one associate pressured me into buying and every one of them made me feel as ease throughout the whole buying process. Thanks Bobby Rahal Lexus team, you done an outstanding job!

I had a great experience here. If you own a lexus and you want quality,competitively priced, expert work on your vehicle, I highly recommend Bobby Rahal Lexus. They called me daily explaining what they had found, and asked whether or not I wanted it fixed. They explained things in a manner that I felt educated and included. The work was done quickly, they washed and vacuumed my car, and even filled my gas tank (this was due to a lexus recall fix I had done). They took pride in their work and it showed.

This is one of 8 Lexus dealerships with 50 miles of our home. We made a late Friday visit while doing some intial car research about one month ago. During this visit we were very pleased with the customer service and knowledgable sales person, Sam, that worked with us.This past Saturday (the last one of the month), after making a desicsion to purchase a brand new Lexus IS250 AWD, we returned to Bobby Rahal. We have done a lot of research on this vehicle, pricing and leasing options, and were prepared to buy a car. After sitting with Sam for about an hour and meeting his sales manager, Jeff, we were told that they would need until Monday to finalize the "deal"; verify our trade-in value and payment for the lease option we desired because we were from MD. Not a big deal, as we had not scheduled an appointment with Sam. We, of course, knew the mark-up on the model we wanted, what we would accept on our trade-in and made a very resonable offer on the car based on this information. Very resonable as in the dealership would be making over $2,000 on the sale of the car, plus the re-sale of our trade-in. It was close to 5pm and looked as if customers were waiting to see the fininace department so Jeff said they would call us first thing on Monday with all of the information and asked that we wait until then and to not purchase a car from another dealer. He didn't even offer for us to take the car over the weekend and return it Monday, and hasn't even called. I guess they have sold enough new Lexus cars this month and didn't need our money. Very poor. What do dealers think, all customers don't know how a business operates and that we can't get the same thing somewhere else??? Just silly....I'm sorry for all of the PA residents that don't have a more customer driven dealer to sell them a Lexus or other brands sold by Bobby Rahal.
