My name is William and wife Rebecca Furry and we own a 2014 Ford Fiesta purchased new. We were told after over 30 thousand miles with normal vehicle service that the hesitation 1st to second gears was normal.. Then other owners across to nation complained and now a clase action suit is in process...luckly our vehicile was serviced and the transmission.Recently my wife brought the vehicle in for a oill change and was told at the end of day that there exist a substance within the radiator fluid that Mike of this service station said he has never seen before and asked my wife to come to see. I then spoke shortly after with Miike from work and he told me "I, nor my staff have never seen this and he has no idea of what the subtance is." He then said that "they do not have this substance in his shop." How does one know that a unknown subtance does not exist in his shop?After asking additional questions he told me he didn have any more time to deal with me. Great customer service! If he doesn't know the exact substance then how could he know for a fact that they don't have this unknown substance in his shop once again? He then explained that a complete flush of the system is needed at a cost to us of over $890,00 and added that our 3 plus extra purchase of an additional 3 years mantainence coverage would not cover this expense. In addition he made a comment that vandalism occurs all the time. This is not the case or just a far fetch way to avoid potential liability. My concern is that only your dealership has serviced our vehicle, all records we hold. Most recently was on 16May16 according to the invoice that noted the need to replace transmission due to aftermentioned problems. All previous reports did not detail concerns regarding the coolant system. Please provide a detailed description regarding the same time replacement of 1 EV6Z*7052*D SEAL ASY-OIL to include possible effect upon the coolent system, a common issue regarding possible collant contamination should the seal be defective or damaged during installation. SECOND OPINIONS BY TWO FIRESTONE MECHANICS WHO CONDUCTED TESTS ON THE CONTAMINATION COLLABORATE WITH OUR FINDINGS ON AUGUST 14TH 2016, WITH MOST LIKELY REASON FOR THIS CONTAMINATION BEING AN HUMAN MISTAKE DURING THE TRANSMISSION REPLACEMENT. DETAILS AND NAMES CAN BE PROVIDED SHOULD BE DEAMED NECESSARY SHOULD ANY ADDITIONAL PROFESSIONAL DETAILS NEED TO BE PROVIDED.Thank you for your time,William & Rebecca Furrry253-632-498832010 110th Ave. SEAuburn, WA 98092Hope to resolve this issue sooner than later. Tom has been an Excellent resource for any and all my questions throughout the sales process. Service dept. NEEDS more efficient computers. Sales and Service people were excellent but hampered by either out of date computers or programs that would "lockup or freeze" thus creating delays when processing "Owner Loaner" vehicles. The staff was EXCELLENT. but the delays caused by computer slow downs are thwarting efficiency efforts in the sales department. Again the Sales and Service staffs were Knowledgeable, Caring, patient, very helpful, and professional. but the computer issues created some tension with some of the 4 or 5 customers awaiting their loaner.

I dropped my car off unexpectedly after hours on a Monday night because it failed to start several times that day. It was fixed and ready for pick-up by 2 pm on Tuesday. Turned out the CM had failed fortunate for me it was covered by an extended warranty. I contacted the dealership online on a day it happened to be closed. Even so, I heard back from Brent that day as we discussed a particular CPO truck and I arranged for a test drive the following day. The next morning I learned that it had already sold and since there wasn't another listing I was interested in, I figured that was all. However, Brent offered to look and took down my (fairly extensive) list of requirements (including CPO designation). To my surprise, I heard back an hour later with information about another truck that wasn't even listed yet. By the time my wife and I came for a test drive later that day, the truck had already been detailed and was sitting in front of the showroom waiting for us. A test drive told us we had found our next vehicle. With Bowen Scarff's no haggle pricing, we knew what we were going to pay and were in and out of the dealership in and out of the dealership in under two hours (including the test drive). Unlike other sales associates I've dealt with, Brent has excelled in after the sale support, answer questions about the truck and pricing accessories for me. This was undoubtedly the best used vehicle purchase experience I've ever had.

The service staff , especially Monica was amazing , made everything less stressful. She answered all my questions, was knowledgeable, and super friendly. The repair was done so fast that I was able to get my oil changed too. After speaking with Monica and her knowledge and advise I decided to bring my other vehicle in and have a pre repair done. She made it so easy and kept my car overnight so I could do a switch out with my other vehicle the next day. Monica also pointed out the recommendation from the mechanic on other repairs i will soon need . Cathy was also very helpful in fixing my other vehicle. It was super busy the day I came in but I didn't have to wait and felt like I was the only one there. I will definitely be back for additional work and I feel confident that Monica and Cathy will take care of everything!

Brent did an exceptional job throughout the entire process. I chose to order a car so it took a couple of months to arrive and I was kept well informed all the way. No pressure, just excellent service through the purchase. My only negative comment is the car interior could have been cleaner (windshield fogged and generally dusty) but I think this is because of a Saturday delivery before Easter and they were probably short-staffed.

It started very confusing as I had called to get an appointment for an oil change for my 2015 Lincoln MKZ. I was told that I didn't need an appointment which I thought was strange. They told me to come in. So my husband and I did and went to service dept. Then I was told to go to Quick lube so after having to back out and move over there I was told I had a 2 hour wait. Called my husband who was in your showroom and he said to come back over and we were going to get to the bottom of this. He talked with the Lincoln sales manager who was awesome and he agreed with us that he didn't like the run around we were getting. He personally went to the Lincoln service manager and she got us right in and she gave us her card so I can call her to get in rather than getting the whole run around. As it was they found a recall and fixed that as well. I knew that I needed an appointment but for some reason they wouldn't make one.

We recently purchased a used vehicle at this location. Initially when you arrive at a dealership, you are usually pressured right away, that was not the case here. They were very easy going and checked in with me to see if I needed help and then let me browse. Once i had a question I talked with the sales staff. They helped me lock in a great deal on a used vehicle. There were some things to be taken care of after purchasing the vehicle so it was on me to reach back out to them. After a short period of time, I reached out to get the remaining items taken care of, and the sales person we had worked with was no longer with the company. It had appeared that the items we had in mind had fallen off the radar. The used car manager stepped in and took care of everything for us. Our vehicle was involved in 2 accidents delaying the items that Bowen was still going to take care of, so I thought well they have probably forgotten by now. I called and scheduled the appointment a few months later and they remembered everything perfectly, got my car in, even took care of an oil change for us as well. I would highly recommend this location for future business and have spread the good word. Absolutely amazing service

I bought my 2014 Focus Titanium new, in January, 2015. It now has 25,000 miles driven.Once before, I had an annoying little noise and a vibration, both of which were found and fixed under warranty. The problem was a loose wiring harness behind the glove box; and, the engine vibrated as if one of the cylinders was misfiring. The cause of the engine vibration was slightly out-of-alignment engine mounts. And the wiring harness was insulated and re-attached. Great job.On this current visit, there was a similar little noise (buzz) coming from the vicinity of driver's side of the dashboard. They found two sources of noise, a loose wiring harness, and also the battery holder in the engine compartment.I am so accustomed to dealerships telling me, in essence, "Oh, that's just the way these cars are, and there's nothing we can do about it." I almost expect that type of non-response, until now.Bowen Scarff Ford goes out of its way to listen to me, and sleuth out the problem, and most importantly, they fix it! Some people would consider these problems minor, and would ignore them. However, they drove me crazy because I drive my cars A LOT. Complete incompetence as a dealership. I bought a 2015 used Ford here and all went well until they drove it to the pick-up location after we finished signing documents. They then told me the car was broken (rain sensor for wipers) and I could not take it. They made me drive my trade-in home; which I no longer legally owned.Horrible communication skills throughout the entire sales department; like a horrible circus act. I get home with my new vehicle after two days and do a few checks; one being tire pressure. I find a nail in the rear tire and 20psi in it. So they were worried about a rain sensor for intermittent wipers but not a critically low tire with a nail in it. Im done with this circus act of a business and I hope this helps others in the future.

Background: We recently bought a used 2008 Kia Sadona Minivan, fully equipped, 42,000 miles for $10,000 at Bowen Scarff Ford. KBB had suggested retail at around $9,250 and NADA had the price at $10,750. We found the van on our banks car buying service site.I gave them 1 star because the car itself was well prepared to be resold, it seems they did everything short of certifying it (as they are not a Kia dealership) to prepare the car for resell. I gave them the second star because the store itself was quite nice, it had good sitting areas to spend time at while waiting and the low level support staff were all very friendly. However, the sales desks did feel kind of in the open and I didn't really appreciate that.Now for why they didn't get the other three stars. First, I docked them 1.5 stars for their gimmicky "No Dicker Sticker" policy. They don't bug on their prices AT ALL. They claim they, "try to give you the lowest price possible, have done it for 20+ years, true no hassle car buying experience." Well, that is fine if your customer holds a certain perspective that car sales people can be truly trying to help their customers and are actually capable of cutting their margins so far that the customer will get the best price period. I don't hold that view. I feel that all car dealerships are truly in it for the money, they care very little for the customer (why would they?!), and they are always trying to turn as big a profit as possible. Thus, I go into car buying assuming negotiation is on the table, despite any guarantee the dealership is making because I assume their profit margins are set higher then they need to be to turn a decent profit. Don't get me wrong, do I feel I got a good price on this vehicle? Yes. Do I feel I got a fair price? Maybe, I am not actually sure yet. Do I feel I got the BEST price possible? Absolutely not. And by the way, all I was trying to negotiate for was $500 off the sticker price.I docked them another star for the sales person. We worked with two people, first I won't name because I didn't like him, and the second was Rick Cuddie, he was quite likable. Now, the first guy got them docked because I felt he was the epitome of an annoying sales person, constantly being amazed at all the cool features of the van and commenting on them, trying to act like we were old friends and he was doing me a solid, and generally not giving me enough room. Most disturbing part, he tried to assume he knew my own personal situation and why I make the decisions I make, that made me feel quite uncomfortable. I like to make my own opinions and discover the vehicle for myself. If I have questions I will ask them. Also, he tried to give us information on a vehicle he was not familiar with (because we bought a used Kia at a Ford dealership) and some of that information was false (like about the transferability of the warranty).Finally, I docked them another star for their financing. We financed a significant amount of this vehicle and had a good loan from our bank. Bowen Scarff wanted to run our credit (which is excellent mind you) and get us a better deal (you know, since they couldn't bug on the sticker price and all). What was the deal they got us? A whole 0.01% less than the loan from our bank. So what did we do with that? We turned around and got our bank to drop their rate and went with our bank because we know, love and trust our bank. I couldn't say any of those things about this dealership so why would I finance with them?!In the end, would I buy another vehicle from them? Yes, but only if I found it online, loved everything about it, was ABSOLUTELY okay with the price shown, test drove it and it was exactly as I expected it to be, and did no financial dealing with them. Would I recommend them to a family member or friend? Absolutely not. Mind you, this is only for used cars, I suspect buying a new car from them would be different, and likely better.

On the whole I was very happy to do business with Bowen Scarff Ford Lincoln. I approached then through the AARP set price plan that they advertised, so I went there knowing what to expect. My representative was very friendly and when he did not know the answers he went to his higher ups and I respect that. They went above and beyond to find me financing, as I have been in a short sale situation for the last 2 years and that had hurt my credit. The interest rate was just what I wanted and they did make a few other concessions to help me out. They did not offer me a good value for my trade-in, so I chose to keep that one and use it for work. They did then help me to find a shipper and had my car sent to me in New Mexico where I work part-time. I did find that after I had signed on the dotted line, that my representative was not very attentive to me anymore. I do admit that he did seem to be very busy with many customers. I would recommend this company to do business with, no matter what your needs. I got a used vehicle.

I received a fair price for the explorer I was purchasing, along with a fair trade in. No surprises when I arrived to purchase the vehicle. When I arrived, I was in and out within 45 minutes with a new car. My experience in the past was that it took a good portion of the day to purchase a car, but because Brent was up front on the car purchase, payments, financing, etc through email, as well he knew I wanted to be in and out quickly, it went so much faster. So when I started thinking about trading my truck in for a new version I went there first. I am sure glad I did. From the moment I contacted them and Brent Schwartznau replied the service was excellent. Brent walked me through the lot and reviewed all of the F150's on the lot. None were what I wanted but it gave me the opportunity to see different options. He never pressured me to purchase on of their vehicle. I had specific requirements so he searched and searched, found some but could not get them so continued to look. Brent kept me in the loop all the way. When we found my truck the final process of paperwork was quick and efficient. Outside of talking to Brent I only other person I met with was Laura the finance manager and she was great also. I was originally contacted by their website coordinator (Sharon , I believe) for a test drive of the car I was interested in from their online site. The person whom I was to meet was not there (I had to switch the original appt time) so I was referred to Ron Olson. Ron was very cordial and I explained that there was one vehicle I wanted to see but was open to other options. Much to my delight, the first car I had my eye on was as clean and luxurious as I had hoped! The test ride sealed the deal (I had done previous surfing online for the reliability & retail value of this car and proved to be worthy). I finalized the paperwork the same day (the accountant, I'm sorry but forgot "her" name) was very thorough and even got me another .5% off of my loan because she saw that I was a member of the same bank loan they made for me!!! I came in the next morning to make a down payment and (Ron had arranged to pick me up at home) to drive my new Used Car home. Later that day, I had an "engine light display" to signal there was a problem with the vehicle so I immediately brought it back. Ron arranged their used car mechanic to look into it and it turned out to be an air circulation hose not reattached when they replaced the air filter earlier. That was a sigh of relief in that it wasn't a serious problem. Unfortunately, the "engine light display" happened a 2nd time and again brought the car in. Ron greeted me and was apologetic while being expedient in getting the car fixed. I was off and driving away before you could wink an eye. Needless to say, Bowen Scarffs' service and reputation is intact and very professional!

Bought a Certified Ford F150,Ford Motor Company would not have Certified this truck.It was Certified by the Used Car Manager.Needs extensive Repairs,plus parts are missing. just in cosmetic repairs the bill came to $1389.49.this is Honesty?believed what was told by the Dealership,until had Vehicle Inspected.Now Ford is Deciding what is covered by Warranty.Other wise am stuck with many problems. do not get rushed into buying without doing complete inspection of what you are buying.Finance,make sure you read everything until you sign.

We recently were in the market for a new 2015 Lincoln MKC and found one on Bowen Scarff's site, although pictures were forthcoming, I proceeded to contact their sales department, at which Brent Schwartznau was my sales contact and he provided me the answers I required, as it had just come into their facility and had not yet had pictures uploaded up to their website. He explained the features and was highly informative. We reside way up north and we did not want to make a wasted trip, so upon inquiring about the vehicle, Brent gladly and quickly provided all the needed information and pictures of the vehicle to make allow us to make an educated decision to travel to Kent, Wa. We scheduled an appointment with Brent to look at the vehicle as soon as possible, especially after Brett told me that the interior was gorgeous on the phone, but even moreso in person. He had the vehicle washed, made sure it had the PDI performed and filled the tank with gas. Wow! Customer Service overload! Price was great and the drive was well worth the effort. My husband and I have been looking for a second car. Before going to Bowen Scarff we have been to a couple others and walked out. When we walked into Bowen it was a breath of fresh air. We worked with Rick Rickler and we couldn't have asked for a better sales person. This is a no pressure no back and forth kind of place. Rick was extremely helpful, kind, and made everything so easy for us. It took us a total of 3 hours to find a car and get thru financing. If it was a typical car dealership you would be there all day. They stand by their no dickering motto and love that. We found a great car for a great price and to top it off Rick made sure it had new tires put on it. Thank you Rick for making this purchase so easy for us and for making it a fun experience instead of stressful. This will be our dealership from here on out. We had our 2 small kids with us and they were also treated great. Rick gave them candy, they had a t.v. to put cartoons on and they also had games to keep the little ones busy. I always dread going car shopping due to the unrelenting high pressure sales tactics. But that is not the case at Bowen Scarff. They have a wonderful staff of knowledgeable and courteous sales people that bend over backwards to make sure you get the right car for you not for their sales quota. Our salesman was Tom Keefe and he couldn't have been more helpful or patient with us. This dealership is also the "No Dicker Sticker" dealership. What you see on the window sticker is what you pay and it usually includes many discounts.

The GOOD:- Low-pressure pricing and sales approach- Vehicle delivered on time and in excellent condition- Friendly helpful staff members (but not management)The BAD:I wish I could end the review with those compliments, but the low rating results from managements poor attitude and responsiveness in addressing a relatively minor issue: Two days after taking possession of my Escape, I noticed that the nav system maps were not the latest available (new maps had been available for more than 3 months). I brought it to the attention of my sales associate, who referred me to the sales manager, who referred me to the service manager, who was unavailable and was to call me back. After 3 days I called the sales manager again and left a voicemail indicating the service manager never called me. After 4 more days with no response (7 total), I called again and was able to finally get through to him. I attempted to convince him that my NEW car with a NEW nav system should absolutely come with current maps. He stuck with an I just resell what I get argument, dismissing my concern. Had the vehicle sale depended on it, Im certain he would have been more imaginative in resolving the issue. He again transferred me to the service manager, who was still unavailable and again never called me back.After 3 more days (10 in all), I gave up on Bowen Scarff and contacted Ford Customer Service directly. A manager called me back promptly, immediately recognized my concern as valid, and within 2 hours had arranged to have the nav update added under my vehicle warrantee. Kudos to Ford Customer Service not so much for the dealerships management. What shabby treatment for a first time new Ford owner! How can I possibly recommend Bowen Scarff to friends and family after such poor behavior from both Sales and Service management? They should take a tip from Ford Customer Service, and even from their own staff when it comes to how to treat new owners.

I had been looking at the Ford Fusion Hybrid for over 10 weeks. I decided to stop by my local dealership, Bowen Scarff, and look at the Fusion. Tom Keefe greeted me and right from the start was at ease. No pressure, he answered all of my questions and offered alternatives to some options that were not available on the lot. I decided to pull the trigger and the buying process was quick, and efficient. On my first visit to the dealership I told Tim I was doing some research on cars and was just looking that day. Tim knew there was not going to be a sale that day, but it did not keep him from spending close to two hours with me, taking me on a test drive, answering my questions and providing me with lots of information about the rebates that could help bring the final price of the car down. Tim was incredibly pleasant and accommodating. I HATE car shopping...the whole dang experience! Car salesman feel so predatory and it feels like you can't believe anything that comes out of their mouths! Tim actually made the whole experience enjoyable though! I never felt pressured, or like he was trying to fool me or take advantage of me because I'm a woman and was there without my husband. I visited other dealers afterwards to look at other models, and I could not get out of those places fast enough!! My thanks to Tim for providing my family with an awesome car buying experience! You were the reason we returned to Bowen Scarff instead of visiting other Ford dealerships in the area. You made sure we received every possible rebate and offer possible, and you got us top dollar for our trade in. And to Tom in finance, thanks for not being pushy with the extended warranty's. I felt from the first time I step on the lot there was no pressure they let us look around and when we had questions we found some one to help us. They were very helpfull. I showed up looking for one type of car and the salesman informed me of the features the car had to offer (trunk space batteries) it would not work for are family so he showed us another car to us and it was perfect the whole family loves it. I spent no more then 2 hrs on the lot from the first time showing up and driving off with a new car

The guys at Bowen Scharff went out of their way to accomodate us! We are from Oregon and it is a 3.5 to 4 hour drive to Kent under normal circumstances! Well due to traffic hiccups it took us 5 we got to the dealership on a Sunday after 5pm and there were still 4 guys waiting for us! They were awesome! We went through all of the paper work and for both the purchase and our trade-in quickly and were on the road home within the hour! We got an excellent deal on a new 2012 F350 (it only had 38 miles on it) and an excellent value for our trade-in (twice what the local Ford dealer wanted to give us)!! We would definatley make the drive again and will be telling people what a good deal we got and what an Awesome group of guys we dealt with! The used car I wanted to purchase was priced too high, but they refused to negotiate a different price, claiming that this was the purpose of their "No Dicker Sticker" price tag on every car. Hopefully this review will save you the time I lost driving down to the dealership to test drive a car only to find out their "No Dicker Sticker" is simply meant to dicker you into thinking you are getting a great deal without the need to negotiate a lower price. Don't fall for it...go somewhere else where you can work with the salesperson to arrive at a price you are both happy with. Overall, it was a two-star bad experience for me. I wasted a bunch of time chasing after a car that I knew was priced above retail, like every dealer does, only to find that Bowen Scarff Ford is not willing to work with their customers to arrive at a final sale price. I wouldn't even have thought to ask about this when I called ahead to schedule the test drive. -------------DETAILS:-------------I visited Bowen Scarff Ford in Kent to check out a used car they had for sale. The test drive went fine, the car was in good condition - definitely some normal wear and tear, some scrapes, scratches, and nicks on the exterior, but nothing out of the ordinary. It felt good during the test drive and I was ready to make an offer.From looking at Kelly Blue Book, The "No Dicker Sticker" price Bowen Scarff Ford set for this car was about $2,000 above the suggested private party list price, and $500 above the suggested dealer list price. The dealer list price from KBB accounts for dealer fees and profits and assumes the car is in "excellent" condition - no nicks, scratches, scrapes, perfect mechanical condition, etc. (the car was not in "excellent" condition). Both prices are defined as starting points for negotiating with a seller. Edmunds and ClearBook showed even bigger price discrepancies than KBB. Needless to say, I felt their price for this car was too high.I sat down with the salesperson and asked if we could talk about the price. He took all my info down to show me the final "no dicker sticker" price with taxes+fees. I talked about the prices mentioned on KBB, Clearbook, and Edmunds to see if we could meet somewhere in the middle and he told me it was impossible to lower the price, even by $1 - that's what the "no dicker sticker" is about... I was shocked. He and the General Sales Manager showed me some printouts with similar cars listed for similar prices at other dealerships to help justify their price. Of course, these were all *retail prices* - starting points for negotiation - and unfortunately, Bowen Scarff Ford was not willing to arrive at a *sale price* with me.In the end, I cannot recommend Bowen Scarff Ford for a used car purchase unless the price you see is the exact price you are willing to pay. I have never seen that at a dealership before, even those advertising fair price programs like the No Dicker Sticker. Just avoid them altogether for your next used car purchase.**EDIT: To respond to the dealer's response: NADA is a Washington lobby dedicated to promoting the interests of car dealers - not the interests of the buyer. Case in point - KBB was the highest of the 3 pricing sites and NADA was $1500 above KBB. The condition of the car was good enough to make an offer, but "exceptionally good" is an overstatement. The ABS light was on during the test drive...not to mention the nicks and scratches, all of which would preclude the car from being in Excellent condition required for the retail price listed on any of the pricing sites. In the end, Tom told me you could not lower the price by even a dollar, and the price included a $150 "negotiable documentation fee"... Tom also told me every single one of your reviews on this site are 5 stars. Not true. It is great that people have been happy with your service, you wouldn't be in business otherwise. They may not have been aware of the dickering involved in coming up with the price on the no dicker stickers at Bowen Scarff Ford. This is certainly not the first time a customer has commented about this.

There was no pressure, he was extremely well informed about vehicles and financing and went WAY out of his way to make this transition very smooth. I hate buying a new or used car!! It always totally stresses me out!!! I had been looking for the last month and had kept in touch with Mike and Mark Scarff re my search for a new or used vehicle. You hear the ads and question whether they are true, "Home of the no dicker sticker." I am as skeptical as anyone else who has had a terrible experience buying a new car. You question whether you should buy new or certified used, whether you are paying to much from what others are paying for the model of car you want.After experiencing 2 hours of a horrible experience earlier in the day at a Tacoma dealership, my wife and I were discussing maybe we should check out the web and buy a car online. I said I hear they have a dealership in Kent that we shouldn't have any issues. Less than 30 minutes after meeting Tom Keefe, we were purchasing a new car for the price we expected to pay. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I first inquired online about the price and selection of the Focus ST's, and within 5 minutes I had an automated response, and 5 minutes after that, I had a personal response and buying options from Hugh Monahan. He was incredibly quick to respond, his answers were succinct and informative, and he was very personable.I work graveyard shift, so any time I need to get something done (like buy a car!), it means I'm staying up well past when I should be sleeping. It was preferable to me to be able to complete the process in one day, and they came through. Hugh transferred the car I wanted up from Olympia that same afternoon! That was HUGE! Also, I traded in my '06 Mazda 3, and they were very fair with the trade in pricing. That also influenced my decision to go ahead with the deal. I didn't NEED a car, but with the price I got for my current car, and the financing/price I got on the new one, it was an easy choice.

When Ford declined the bailout money in 2009, my opinion of the brand went up by leaps and bounds. When I went to Bowen Scarff Ford Lincoln, I was impressed by the low key sales approach from Steve Lawrance. While I did not buy that day, my opinion of the brand and the dealership made me come back the next day. Steve and Brian gave me a great tour of my 2009 F-150's technological features. Having the technology introduced to me by someone who knew their way around it was a great help. In addition to being great salespeople, I also found out they have great taste in music.

I just picked up a 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium in silver. I can't imagine how the transaction could have been any easier. As a total car dork I had really studied up on the car I wanted and what transaction I was willing to do. My usual local dealership, Ford of Kirkland, didn't have the chosen option group that I wanted. I asked if they could track one down, but they just wanted me to sell my (needed) trade, order one, and wait. Bowen Scarff had one close but was AWD. Hugh Monahan took the time to track my car down from another dealer and called me back w/in 20 minutes. We came to terms over the phone (assuming no surprises on my trade - fine with me) and I headed down from Redmond to do the deal. I own a small machine shop and time is extremely valuable. There were no games, or dinkin' around - just filling out paperwork as fast as possible. Even the brief meeting w/F&I went great. Previous experience rates just below a root canal. She knew I was pressed for time. I just put my hand on that big stack 'o paper (extended warranty, pre-paid maintenance, etc.) and said "this is all the stuff I don't want." No worries. We just signed the rest of the package and contract. Start-to-finish was about an hour and 15 minutes. They even did the title transfer (to them) of my trade on- line while I was there. My daughter has just graduated college and is in the long, grinding process of getting hired w/the Feds. Once officially hired, my first call is going to be to Hugh to put my daughter in a new Focus.I gave 5 stars across the board except service - have yet to have anything done.

After some internet homework I went to see Rick Ricker, Used Car Sales. We test drove a 2004 Colorado, and I bought it. This was a No-Dicker-Sticker/As-is vehicle. My internet research indicated the posted price was quite fair, and I appreciate the streamlined sales process this provides...none of that running back & forth to the manager's office with different versions of payment plans. The nice lady in the Credit department submitted a loan request to BECU for me, which passed. Rick made sure the cabin Fan rheostat was repaired for me, too. I was a little freaked-out when the engine light came-on, after driving less than 10 miles, but a phone call later I was back at the dealership where Spike made arrangements to have Service check-out the issue. They went above/beyond by taking the vehicle to the Chevy dealer for a small repair, providing & providing me a loaner car! I am a very happy Customer!

I have a 2006 F350 with 53000 miles on it. I took it in for service because my check engine light would come on periodically when towing. I also had an oil change and had them rotate my tires. After driving the truck to attempt to get the light to come on, I was notified that the service tech refused to drive the truck again, stating it was too dangerous. He said whenever he would go over 40 mph the front of the truck would shake so bad he felt he was going to crash. Please note I had never had that problem. I asked them to diagnose the front end issue, at a cost, of course. I was told that, basically, all the front end components would need to be replaced, at a cost of almost $1500. I decided to see if I could find another repair shop that would do the work a little cheaper. When I picked up the truck, sure enough, there was a terrible shimmy in front end when going over 40. I took the truck in to another mechanic who stated there was absolutely nothing wronge with the truck. The only problem was a bad tire. I replaced all 4 tires and the shimmy dissapeared. The mechanic made a point of telling me that whomever told me that there was a problem with the front end had flat out lied. He did not know who I had taken the vehicle in to previously. I sent an email to the service manager detailing what happened and never heard back. I filed a complaint with the BBB and never heard back from the dealership. I even filed a complaint with Ford corporate and still didn't hear back from Bowen Scarff. They made if very apparent they do not care for the customer, especially when they can't rip them off. I am and will continue to tell everyone I know DO NOT give them any business.

Just got a 2008 Malibu from Hugh today. Originally went there for an Accord but changed our minds when we compared the cars. We drove to Kent from N. Seattle b/c all of their cars were priced competitively with similar cars on craigslist and local dealers. Hugh was very candid with all info, and helped us get a good price (confirmed by 2 other dealers) on our trade-in and a better rate on the loan. The whole process was smooth and laid back. We took a while to think it over after the test drive so by the time we finished the paperwork it was almost an hour past their closing time but no one rushed us at all. Great customer service.

We found our 2008 Edge online. Called them and was put in touch Mel. He said the car was still on the lot, we were on our way (about a hours drive so he asked for our phn number in case the car sold before we got there). We got there did a walk around, and Mel handed us the keys. Came back, he asked us we had any questions, was knowledgable about the vehicle. I asked if there was wiggle room in the price he mentioned the no dicker sticker & non-commission basis. The price was only $1000 over KBB and had about $3000 in options not taken into account by KBB. It was a no brainer. He drew up the paper work, we had pre-approved financing, and drove off in about a hour with a new car. I have bought many cars, both new and used, this was by far the easiest and lowest stress car purchase I have ever experienced. Excellent deal on the car, no back an forth to a sales manager a dozen times on price. No sales pitch. Not at all the standard 'used car salesman' high pressure standard. I loved doing business with these guys and Mel was stellar. The longest wait was for the finance guy to have sign the paperwork, he had a couple other people ahead of us, but took about 10 minutes once we got in there. Bowen Scarf seems to be doing it right!!! I would most definitely go see them again if they had the car I was looking for. I might even just start with them.

I was buying a new car in a new area. I researched the dealership ratings besides the cars and decided to call Bowen Scarff. Randy Good answered my call and handled it professionally and politely. I later visited the dealership and tried to different models of Ford Edge. Randy patiently described the differences and answered my questions. He was at the same time professional and a pleasant person to talk to. When I couldn't make my decision he did not try to push me into a purchase. I discussed my options with my family and came back the next day after work. Despite working from the early morning Randy was waiting for me. We went over the options and differences one more time. We finished the paperwork efficiently including a call to my insurance. Randy kept good on his promise to find a competitive loan with my desired interest rate and time period. While I do have a good credit history and could secure a loan anywhere, it was nice to see a seller fulfilling their promise. After that I worked on my finances with Tom, who was also very professional, polite, and explained the options patiently without trying to push me into unnecessary additional expenses. When the deal was closed, Randy stayed with me through a call to my insurance to make sure my new vehicle is added to my policy. Then he helped me by driving my car while I was driving a rental to return it. When I returned the rental car, I drove Randy back to the dealership and only then we both left home. It was well after 9 PM. I would recommend Bowen Scarff and Randy Good to anyone looking to purchase a car and be treated professionally and courteously.

1/2/11My husband and I went in today to test drive a new (2012) F-150. We called ahead to get the truck ready. When we arrived, it was ready! Mel was quick to get paperwork for us to drive (5 minutes?) and my husband was happy. Mel, was professional, easy-going and extremely comfortable to talk to. Loved the truck, but the no-dicker-sticker threw us for a loop (we were ready to dicker ;), as well as our trade-in value was less than expected. That said, nobody (all sales staff in the showroom) came on strong at all - everyone there was cordial and friendly. We will be back and we will ask for Mel!

I flew in from a neighboring state,(Idaho) to buy a very lightly used truck, sight unseen. I reviewed the information on line, and actually put a deposit down on the vehicle, trusting Bowen Scarff's reputation, longevity, and other reviews. Mel, in sales picked me up at the airport, in "my truck". It was truly as advertised. Paperwork went smoothly, after ironing out the tax issue for licensing in another state. This was no big deal and got corrected on the spot. The only thing that could have been done better, was detailing on the truck. Little things were missed, like cup holders, and other areas that typically get overlooked. Overall, though, I would not hesitate to make the trip again, for the right vehicle at the right price. Buyer beware!!! This car dealer does not stand behind the used vehicle they sell.I bought a used 2006 Ford F350 truck to tow my travel trailer. Test drive was OK but when I got the truck home and hooked up my trailer, there was a very loud rattle that only happened with the trailer connected. It turned out the truck had an after market exhaust - which wasn't disclosed in the sale - and needed to be repaired. Also, the rear brakes started smoking.I had the repairs done by my trusted mechanic shop - Central Avenue Automotive - and asked for reimbursement of $1,371. They wouldn't even cover the cost of repairs for work that should have been done prior to selling the vehicle.

We have always supported our local businesses in Kent. So when we shopped for a new car, we went to our local Ford dealership and we were not disappointed. We are very satisfied with the service and vehicle we purchased. The only thing we have reservations about is the accuracy and currency of the maps supplied by the navigation system. The maps in the Kent area are not up to date at all, and we hope that the mapping company will provide up-to-date information to its Ford customers.

This was by far--bar none--the best experience I've ever had purchasing a new vehicle.I'm an informed consumer. I always do my homework. I compare prices between local dealerships, read customer reviews, check for information on complaint websites, print-out Kelly Blue Book and NADA information on my trade-in; I always come prepared, and usually prepared to do battle.I was very skeptical of the "no dicker-sticker" slogan, and I was pretty sure that any savings I realized on the new vehicle would be countered by a low-ball offer on my trade-in, and I was ready for it. I've been down this road many times, and it's not unusual for me to walk out if I'm not happy with the way a transaction is being handled.Bowen-Scarff was a pleasant surprise. The new vehicle price was the best I could find in a 100-mile radius. They offered me a very fair price on my trade-in ($50 more than the figure in my head), and the incentives on the new vehicle just couldn't be beat.Helene and Ken were great. No pressure. No gimmicks. No schtick. Just good, down-to-earth people, answering all of my questions, and providing me with good information. Kari (in finance) explained my options to me, as I'm sure she's required to do, but again--in a very genuine way, without any pressure--and walked me through the paperwork side of it quickly and professionally.This was the first time I've ever left a dealership in a new vehicle without feeling "worked-over" or "finagled" at some point in the transaction. I shopped on line for over 3 months to look for a quality car at a reasonable price. I had purchased Nissan vehicles for over 16 years! Pathfinders and Maximas were the only cars I would drive. Not any more, the Ford Fusion SEL is by far a better value for the buck. Just last year I bought an '06 with low miles, loaded with sun roof and blue tooth but for the first time in my life I was rear ended and the car was totalled. You talk about a hit! A Ford F-350 Dual Cab slammed into me while I was waiting to turn left. He never saw me, hit me square, and caused me to ram into another car in front of me. Glass everywhere, air bag went off, full tank of gas, and still I walked away. Tremendous quality and safety go into these cars and I am thankful that I don't have permanent damage to my back and neck. Within a week I was shopping for another car, guess what? I found another Fusion, same year, great price and very low mileage. Called Matt and the deal was done in 1 hour! Outstanding pricing, service, and friendliness. If you're ever having a bad day go see Matt! Thanks again, Matt!

We looked for about two weeks online and in person for the right car. We were thrilled to find our Crown Victoria for $3000 less than comparable cars elsewhere. There were no high pressure sales people and we didn't have to go through the long drawn out process of dickering for a better price. There sticker price is ABSOLUTELY the lowest! They did a free alignment at our request. We love the car and definately recommend this dealership. I hope they are still around when we need our next vehicle.

I have worked in the customer service industry all my working life and I rate things a little lower than probably most people because customer service is one thing a person and company can always do better. Service industry companies that don't believe in this philosophy will fail in time, that is pretty much gauranteed especially in today's social networking environment. I truly believe Bowen Scarff beleives in this and the 1st time I visited them I was satisfied with my buying purchase. This recent time I am very satisfied, probably because I now have a relationship with the dealership.I have bought 2 Mustangs so far from this dealership, a 2001 SVT Cobra and my newest purchase a 2007 Mustang GT. I worked with Rick Ricker both times and have met and conversed in email with Brian Camp, which both of them are stand up people looking to make things as pleasent and smooth as possible. The one thing I like at this dealership is the posted price and no haggling. I have walked out of dealerships because I didn't want to bother with this ridiculous approach to car buying, haggling of price. I know I paid a little more than I should have but when one only has to spend a few hours waiting instead of the entire day, it is well worth it to me to pay a little more.I am having a bit of a problem with this purchase, trunk is leaking a bit but I bought a 3 year service warranty contract that should cover this expense and will be taking the car in for repair and will write about that expierience soon, either here or other social networks.

I went to this dealership after working on my vehicle for awhile. I also sent an email to their service manager explaining the issue. The problem is that instead of the diagnostic service requested, I recieved free safety inspections and little if any diagnostic. I was told the new part I replaced was bad. The old part exhibited the same issue. After research online I was advised that the solution offered was that of an inexperienced tech. In fact on diagnosing this issue various other small components and sensors should be tested first. I also found that the diagnoses offered faild to resolve the initial issue. Online you can note that some techs actually would replace this part at a rate of $735 until the cows come home and it rarely if ever resolves the issue. In addition to the lack of diagnostic work performed I was advised that I needed approximately $800 more in maintenance.In other words I paid $70 to have them diagnose a problem and they told me I needed to give them $1800 more. I have been in this business before an I know better. I also purchased a vehicle at this site. The trunk leaks, always has even after they repaired it in the body shop. I would avoud this dealership as I have found that it is more in the business of gathering your funding and less in the business of customer service.

At first I was irritated about the "No dicker sticker" policy as the car we wanted was priced $950 out of our price range, any dealer would gladly knock off $950 to make a sale but they refused, so I patiently waited about a week or so and then I got an email from Brandon that said the manger lowered the price and wanted to see if I was still interested. We were able to do a deal over email and text message and get my payments for what we wanted. Everything was ready to go when we got there and the paperwork with Tom was a breeze. Brandon was very friendly and made sure everything was good for us.

The absolute worst customer service of any dealership I've ever been to! Went looking to buy a mustang GT on Saturday of all days! first I walked the lot for 20 min waiting for someone to greet me and help with some questions I had! Finally walked inside and three guys basically sat at there desks and staired at me talking back an forth! Finally went Into the office and asked if someone could help me!! They made it seem like it was a drag to help me!! Treated me like I was wasting there time! Finally asked if I Could test drive one and the guy said he was really busy I'd have to wait! Could tell they thought I wasn't There to buy! Finally got sick of it and just left! That day I bought a 2011 Shelby mustang GT from Pierre Ford in lake city!! Miles of difference in customer service! They are amazing and respect u the second u pull on the lot!! Well never let anyone I know buy from a bowen scarff dealership! And I'm in the army so I well post it at ft Lewis too!! I was an easy deal that day but they assumed I wasn't!! Dot recommend anyone ever go here! They are horrible and i don't know how They sell any cars!! DONT WASTE UR TIME OR MONEY THERE! They well only give u time of day if u walk in flashing cash I guess!! I well do my best to make sure no one from the military goes here! They have no product knowledge an really don't care whether u buy or not! Guessing because it says They don't get paid commission!! Really horrible dealership and well ruin your day!

Although we were very pleased with our sales man Ricker we are very dissatisfied with yourcashier. Who wouldn't take a check for $5.000 dollars because the check book looked new.So Chad went to the bank and withdrew the $5.000 cash brought it back then the cashierproceeded to complain about having to count the cash. I'm pretty sure there is a lot of people out there right now who would better serve your company and make your customerswho come in with $18.700 cash more welcome. I checked out Bowen Scarff on-line, I saw a F-150 4x4 I was interested in and applied for credit on-line. That same day the salesman called and asked me if I'd like to come down and test drive my new truck. I did, I was also approved as of walking in the front door, the truck was freshly washed and parked out front waiting for me. The salesman was freindly and not pushy at all, he let us have our space but was still close by for questions which we had from time to time. after the test drive we decided to buy the truck, they gave us a very fair offer on my trade-in, the payment I wanted, and the 'paperwork' was easy and painless. I saw three people from the time we got there, the salesman to see the truck, the sales manager to sign papers, and the person that showed us some upgrades and options that we might want on the truck. we walked out the other door got into our new truck and drove off. A few days later they called and needed an additional form signed, I told them that i didnt get off work untill late and the sales manager said he would wait for me even after they had closed. I had a coupon for a free oil change and car wash waiting for me just for the inconveinience of runnigdown there after work. The price of the truck was the best part of the deal, i checked other dealers and the various 'blue books' and my truck was priced below assesed value.

My Shelby Mustang is the latest purchase and have now bought 4 cars from Bowen Scarff and have had excellent help with Dan Forward each time. There are NO car dealer games that have become the normal way of business everywhere else. I have been going to the Bowen Scarff dealership in Kent for 20 years. The staff and service has always been first class. This dealership is head and shoulders above any other I have ever encountered, by far. The internet advisor Brian Camp and top salesman Dan Forward have always been very helpful and knowledgeable in their respective fields. I've never met a finer team. Also the quick lane area and service department are top notch. Buying a car here with the no dicker sticker is another fantastic feature. Complete opposite of the average dealership that sends out ambush parties when you drive on their lot. There aren't many sure things in life, but at least I don't have to worry about where to buy a car! Can't wait for next summers' car show at the dealership, always a great day. I went looking for a new truck in January 2009, and as Ford had great incentives on F-150's it was a no-brainer that I take at look at them. Bowen Scarff Ford in Kent has been a place I have purchased parts for my other Fords for years, so I gave them a shot at selling me a new F-150. I can say that Bowen Scarff not only met my need for a new truck, but exceeded my need with ease. Dan Forward was my salesman and I can only give him the highest praise for being courteous, helpful, and attentive. He breaks the mold of the typical car salesperson, I will most certainly purchase my next new vehicle from him. As for the dealership itself, it is clean, freshly remodeled, and no pressure in sales. It pretty much lets the product sell itself, which it does, in my opinion. Anyone looking for a pleasant, easy, sales experience needs to, at the very least, see Dan at Bowen Scarff.

We purchased here because we found the other dealers we were trying to work with were not inclined to meet the standards established by Bowen Scarff, during our last two (2) purchases from them. This time we bought from them, even though we live 300 miles away. This dealership is far superior to the ones locally. When we require service, we schedule it around a trip to the Seattle area and have this dealer take care of our needs. We have not received the same level of professionalism and service locally. My rating of good for two questions is described below.Service department preperation prior to sale:I noticed that the shift from first to second the first time I drove the Flex was jerky. I mentioned this to the sales person after the test drive. Nothing was suggested as to a fix.Later I took the car for service to Millennium Ford in Burien,WA and mentioned the shift problem. Their service department fixed this problem as was directed by Ford in a February 2009 service directive. I purchased the last day in July 2009 so this directive from Ford should have been noticed and the transmission fixed before the sale.I know that this was a minor problem and did not spoil my positive experience with Bowen Scarff. I purchased a new Ford Crown Victoria from Bowen Scarff in 1983 and would purchased from Bowen Scarff in the future.

Two years and 4 months ago, I traded my Red Dodge SRT-10 Viper Truck for a new 08' Grabber Orange Ca Spcl Mustang GT & it was truly a GREAT experience. The sales person, Randy Good I must tell you has got to be the most honorable sales person on the planet. I recommend you ask for him on your next purchase. I am not saying this just to get people to come into the dealership, (I don't get paid for giving you my opinion) but Randy is a family guy and understands the costs etc., and in these times he as well as the dealership don't want any negative vibes, if you know what I mean regarding the stigma of 'sales personnel' and shady deals. Randy is there and tries to make it a win-win situation for both sides of the contract.I brought a friend in to Randy and she got a great deal on a New Ford Focus this past year. Randy and the team really do get you the best price for your trade-in as well as the price on your new vehicle choice. Plus you don't get jockeyed around from sales guy to sales guy like other dealerships do. When that happens, I WALK OUT.Anyway, I seriously do recommend that when you are ready to go make your next purchase, go and see Randy at Bowen Scarff in Kent. At least go in and look- there is NO pressure to buy. If you don't check them out, that will be your first and biggest mistake. If you have time to hang around in a dealership for hours on end and then get taken 'for a ride' that's your decision.This is getting a bit windy already but one other thing;I'll tell you a little more of my experience with Randy. I went to the dealrship just to look at the mustangs and see the cost etc. I talked with Randy for a little bit and then out of the blue he asked if I lived locally. I told him yes I do. He offered me to take a mustang out by myself--no sales guy to tag along. I thought WOW, amazing, everyone else wants to babysit you..well I pulled out my license, he made a copy, gave me the mustang keys and I went home to show the wife. From there it is history...I ordered my mustand from Randy and we went line by line as to how I wanted it equipped. I als go the car tricked out with the help of Randy's co-worker and (forgive me but I forgot her name) and now my mustang turns heads when I drive by...I still have the Bowen-Scarff lic plate frame on the back just in case someone needs coaching where to buy The Icon of a vehicle and still the American Legend, Ford Mustangs Rock and so do the people at Bowen Scarff Ford, Kent Wa.Most Sincerely,Pete Pikulin.. I have purchased 2 vehicles from Bowen-Scarff Ford in the last 2 years. One new Ford Fusion, and one used "one owner" Mustang. Hugh Monahan was my salesman for the Fusion in 2008, so when I needed a car for my daughter I gave him a call and bought the mustang. The reason I bought from B-S Ford was the honesty, the way I was treated, and the quality of customer service. Buying a new car can be a real pain, But Hugh made it very easy. When I started my search, they didn't have a car on the lot that matched my needs, but Hugh found me one in a day, new, and at a great "no dicker sticker" price. When I bought the mustang, I told him what I needed, and was very specific that I wanted a low mileage car. He told me there was nothing on the lot right then, but thought a great car was coming in soon, that they had sold new.Most car sales staff out in this tight economy would do ANYTHING to get you on the lot, but Hugh waited until my needs were met, and gave me a call. I will consider Bowen Scarff Ford again when I need another vehicle, and would not hesitate to recommend them to a friend. Hugh LISTENED to my needs, and found me quality cars at good prices. A winning combination!

Great customer service. The dealership didn't have the car we wanted in stock and couldn't find one at any other local dealers so they quickly made arrangements to order the exact car we wanted from the factory. Updates were given all along the way to ensure we knew what was going on and where the car was. When the car did arrive due to my work schedule I could only pick it up on Saturday. They kept the service department open late on Friday to make sure the car was detailed before we got there Saturday morning. Our salesman even came in on his day off to make sure everything was signed around without any problems. The price that was quoted was the price that we paid, there was no dickering around or last minute fees that they forgot to tell us about. We will definitely do business with Bowen Scarff Ford again.

Very friendly and very little pressure. Overall great experience. Hoped to have more follow up in on going search for vehicle and no dicker sticker is a nice idea but I would have expected a bit more competitive price if there is no opportunity to negotiate price.

Being a well satisfied customer of their Covington service department I found a Honda Civic in Kent on their web site. Art showed me the car without any pressure to buy or attempt to switch me to another car. My mechanic found it it great shape and said I'd be crazy not to buy it for the asking price. Art promised to have cosmetic detail work done I hadn't expected before I picked it up and had it completed earlier than promised, all at a price that was well under book value without the hassle of dickering. Great car that has been trouble free. I highly recommend both their sales and service.

Great service, I called the dealership several times asking various questions about a used Ford Fusion that they had for sale & they were helpful every time. I live about 40 miles away from the dealership so I wanted to make sure it was worth my time to drive all the way to Kent to look at the car, and they were very helpful in answering questions about the condition of the car. I even asked them to smell the inside of the car for me because I didn't want a car that anyone had smoked in and they did it for me & said it smelled good, and they were right! The car I bought from them was also at the best price compared to any dealership around. They offer great service & great prices, I would definitely recommend them.

We bought a 2010 Ford Edge from Bowen Scarff Ford. This is my second vehicle I purchased here. We bought a 2003 Ford Taurus and it was because of that transaction we returned to buy the 2010 Edge. Hugh Monahan was our sales associate who got us into the new Edge. The experience was even better than when we bought the Taurus. There was no pressure at all. The purchasing experience from beginning to end was awesome. The entire time spent to do the transaction was a total of two hours when included two vehicles that were traded in (the 03 Taurus being one of the vehicles). At not time during the purchasing of the vehicle did we ever feel pressured or steered to anything we didnt want. As for pricing, the price of the Edge, I felt we got a great deal And we got close to full blue book on the two vehicles we traded in. The entire staff at Bowen Scarff Ford were very friendly and extremely helpful. I can not recommend Bowen Scarff Ford enough. In fact, I have mentioned to a co-worker about buying a car at Bowen Scarff Ford. If you are seriously considering buy a Ford, DONT GO ANYWHERE ELSE! Go to Bowen Scarff Ford!

My Wife and I purchased a Brand New Ford Fusion 2007 from Bowen Scarff. It was the best experience I have had buying a car. They do not try to pressure you just give the facts and the price of the car up front. I suppose some people like to haggle all day with the price and maybe sometimes you can get a good deal doing it that way but my time is worth money and I was in and out in about an hour with my new car. I shopped around and the price was lower than other dealers I probably could have negotiated the other dalers down and would have ended up with close to the same price but I figured why go through the trouble if I dont need to? Service is great as well and I have no complaints.

Every time my Out of Warranty F-350 truck has a problem, I call Bowen Scarffs service department. Monica has given me exceptional service every time. She has provided exceptional communication on the work thru its completion. I only take my truck there now as she and her manager has done an excellent job on scheduling, pricing and communication. Bowen Scarff has litterally worked on everything on my truck except the body. Entire gasker replacement on my Diesel Engine. Tranny replacement, front suspension and steering components. Fuel Injection Control Module. Alignements, tires, ball joints and more.

I went to trade in my car they wouldnt tell me how much they would give me for trade in. I picked out a nice car and went through all of the paperwork (took all afternoon)then tried to tire me out so i would sign the paperwork without telling me how much they would give me for my car. when i demanded to see it on the paperwork they were giving me next to nothing for my car and the darndest thing they had a additional charge for the exact same amount that they were charging me for my "trade in" THEY TRIED TO STEAL MY CAR.

Sales people are rude and pushy. I wanted a used car. They kept trying to sell me a new truck. I didn't want a truck. The salesman walked away and I never did get to see anyone else about buying a car. RUDE, DONT GO THERE.... Can't say how bad it was. I never felt so bad leaving a dealer because I cant afford a new car or truck.

I went to trade in my truck for another newer truck. They offered me $3000 less than the Kelly Blue Book for my trade my truck had verry low miles and was in great shape. I wanted to buy a truck I had seen online. The price was the same as other dealers in the area. HOWEVER there is room for price negotiation at other dealers (usually 500-1500) They would not budge on the price even when I pulled up a listing on my phone and showed them there was a lower price on EXACTLY the same truck. "The No Dicker Sticker" is a huge rip off scam. I feel bad for the previous poster that was ripped off 5 times. You poor sucker. Salesmen are rude. Management is condecending and cars and trucks are all over priced.

I work for another car manufacturer. However, I have, and my wife have bought 5 brand new trucks and SUV's from Bowen-Scarff Ford, and we ordered a special order car, that I couldn't fit into, I am too tall, and the experience ...every single time was pleasant, non-pushy, honest, to the point, priced accordingly to the market, the value of the vehicle, in our market, and MORE than competitive. We didn't have to worry about being pushed around, making excuses, or feeling embarassed, or pressured into some set of accessories, or after market warranties, service contracts, or hidden necessary qualifications to buy the car, or truck, or SUV of our dreams. I will work for my friendly european manufacturer, but I will always give Bowen-Scarff Ford the first, and probably the last opportunity for my business. I had some financial trouble that decimated my "beacon score," and my salesman, Dan Forward got on the phone to Ford Credit, personally, talked with their loan official, and was able to turn a lease, into a purchase just by going to bat for me. I won't joke around about not having to answer some embarrassing questions, but at no time was I scrutinized by everyone in the dealership...it was discrete, and it was between him, and me. I knew I could trust Dan, and I never flet more obligated to answer truthfully because of his faith in me than I did if I was answering questions posed by my own mother, or father. I expect that in 25 years, I will still do business with Bowen-Scarff Ford because they are...in a word..."trustworthy!" Dan has treated me as well, or better than my own family.
