Called and made an appointment for a recall repair, and asked if I could also have brakes checked and a non-functioning electric window looked at while it was there. They called me back with prices, which of course were outrageous because its a "dealer". But my Honda dealer doesn't charge what they charge. Also, they charged me $125 just to "diagnose" the window issue. Would have been nice to have been told about the diagnostic charge BEFORE I dropped it off. Wouldnt recommend using their service department. You can do better, and cheaper, almost anywhere.

Wonderful experience ordering and buying our Mach E through Brian Hoskins! 6 months wait but it was absolutely worth it. Both Jim and Mike were so pleasant to work with, they kept us updated on everything and even sent us the pictures of the car when it finally arrived. They also let us take it home without signing anything or paying a dime the first day because the system wasn't ready for the payment plan. When we came back next day, we were in and out in 20 minutes. No markups and accepted the Xplan. Thank you guys!

Do not recommend using their services. Brought my 2019 F250 to Brian Hoskins for service. Expected OEM prices, no issue. Authorized the service manager Kevin to perform all scheduled maintenance. He changed the fuel filter, a 30,000 mile task at 18000 miles and charging me $210. Lie to me directly, twice, about the service interval. They were asked on three separate visits to fix the 7 pin trailer connection, this should be corrected under warranty. This issue is still not resolved I was charged for diagnostics. I was treated very rudely for even questioning the charges. Not going back! Very poor Ford representative. New Ford Bronco, maybe not?

I had a great experience purchasing a 2012 Ford Focus at Brian Hoskin's Ford! Marie DiMassa was helpful and good at keeping in touch - she helped us through the whole process. The car is great and really good quality! However, I did have trouble with the passenger side window when I got the vehicle home, but the service team at Brian Hoskin's fixed it at no charge! They really stand behind their products so I would recommend the dealership to anyone!

Bought a GMC 2500 from the dealership. Well worth the 53 miles I drove to their dealership. Both Brandon and Mike both were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable without any of the usual pressure sales tactics some sales people use. They don't seem to need pressure tactics. My fiance and I went into to look at a Ford Mustang about 4-5 months ago. And we have had about a hundred issues. As we went in, it was a very pressured environment, not welcoming.. you could tell they just wanted our money. After purchasing the car we were promised a 3 years or 36,000 miles. As the car in the shop right now, we were told we weren't under a warranty. Secondly, they sold us the car with a recall on the airbags and now they refuse to fix it. Because "they don't have it" THEN ORDER IT! It's a new sound after a different and the service people have been less than helpful with everything. Very disappointed and would not ever recommend this dealer/dealership

I am usually not very fond of Car Dealerships for various reasons. However, from the time I began my search to the sale of a vehicle, the communication level was excellent. No BS with endless and useless emails and phone calls. Brandon Newell our Sales Associate was straight forward from the very beginning. He took the time to listen while providing me with all the correct information and pricing the first time. No surprises what so ever when we arrived at the dealership. He stood behind everything he said and promised as did their Sales Manager, Joe DeMarino. A very pleasant and easy transaction from A-Z. They obviously have been in business for a long time for a reason. Its all about the customer and they obviously stand behind that objective. I would certainly recommend this dealership. We drove over 2hrs. to see them. It was time well spent.

I was investigating a heavy duty truck with diesel power not knowing what was out there and in my budget. I visited the dealership and met Bill Tarter who met me at the door upon my arrival. He sat with me and asked what I was looking for and tried his best to put me in a vehicle that would meet our needs. He was very patient and very personable during my visit to the dealership.We saw a truck that might meet our needs, but were uncertain. Joe, the manager offered for us to take the truck home and try it out which was an extremely valuable service to us, because we were about to make a large investment and did not know what the capabilities of the truck were.Needless to say, upon returning to the dealership we agreed to the sale and I was pretty happy with the amount I received for my trade. The paperwork was processed in less than an hour which was very convenient as well. I never like sitting around for long periods of time waiting to sign papers and getting on the road. Thank you, Joe and Scott, for handling the paper work so expeditiously. So far, we are very happy with our purchase and I would recommend my friends and family to visit Brian Hoskin's Ford when considering their next vehicle.

Everyone in the dealership was informative and the best part they were honest. It was a pleasure to purchase a vehicle from them. I was pleased with experience, Austin was great and took the time to answer all my questions. If he did not know the answer he found out the answer within minutes. This was only one question and it was financial. Words can not even describe the way this dealership works. If you are looking for a truthful, do all they can and not rob you blind this is the dealership. Our salesperson, Eric Wroten had cars waiting for me to test drive. He walked the lot with me (made me laugh the whole time, which is rare at a car dealership), never acted annoyed because I kept switching what I thought I wanted. He endured the heat and thunderstorms and still made my visit FUN!! Yes at a car dealership!! Ed Kovatch is robably one of the nicest, most likeable and sincere people I have gotten to know and even with some bumps in the road he found every rebate Ford could give us. Scot Shandler was such a pleasure to work with and he the one you sign all the papers with!! We had the best experience of our lives at Brian Hoskins Ford and quite honestly I will never go anywhere again. PLUS !!! It IS AMERICAN MADE !!!! Eric is the best saleperson !! We saw a vehicle online and went to look at it. We met Brian "The Mennonite" Beatty and test drove the vehicle. We did not purchase the vehicle that night. Brian was so patient and helpful. We looked around and could not find that vehicle for a better (or the same) price. We went back and specifically asked for "The Mennonite". When we found him he was leaving for the day. I live in Allentown but have driven down to Brian Hoskins at least 5 times to get a new vehicle. Today I went down to get a new work truck. Ed Kovatch got me some very quick, aggressive pricing and I made the commitment over the phone. We scheduled pick up for noon today, I ran late, but the paperwork was ready. We did the transaction in 15 minutes! It took longer for Mike Carlene to go over all of details of the truck! And we love the F150. Brian even gave me a handshake and a thank you. Great service. It was time for me to begin searching for a new car, my very first at that. So, I did what any consumer would do. Research the products, and once I determined a make and model I researched dealers. Brian Hoskins had already caught my attention because of other glowing reviews, but I was still a little skeptical. After one of my own personal friends refereed me to Brian Hoskins, specifically Brian Beatty, I immediately understood why Brian Hoskins receives its deserved accolades. I worked with Brian Beatty, a very personal and respectful associate of Brian Hoskins. Brian worked with me and made the process extremely simple. Consistently, Brian would answer any questions, comments, or concerns about not only the vehicle, but the entire purchasing experience. It was also refreshing that no "games" were played. Brian asked what I was looking for, what my price range was, and how much I wanted to pay monthly, and proceeded accordingly. I was never pressured to buy anything I did not want. The entire staff was courteous, from sales associates on the floor to Scot back in Finance. They celebrated my purchase and made the buying experience both quick and painless. I will forever look back on my first car purchase with fondness thanks to Brian Hoskins. If all my interactions at Brian Hoskins are like this I will surely be a lifelong customer.

Worked with Mike Ciarlone over the phone to select a vehicle and obtain the loan. Basically all I had to do when I arrived at the dealership was sign and drive! Went to look at a specific used Mustang on their lot after doing ALOT of research. While on auto trader, had a chance to chat with Mike Carlene. We exchanged some information and Mike had everything ready for me when I got there after work. There was no high pressure sales b.s. I went to Brian Hoskins Ford because we have bought many cars from them over the years. I bought a new car on St. Patrick's Day from a great Salesman named Brandon. Brandon went out of his way many times to make the experience painless. From the moment we walked in the door and the many changes on our part, Brandon did a great job of explaining all of the car options. I stopped by several times after my new car purchase with some questions about how the car operated and again, Brandon took the time to show me and explain how things worked. He even synched my phone contacts to my car for me. Buying my new car was very easy with no pressure what so ever! If you're looking for a new car, I definitely recommend Brian Hoskins Ford, and my salesman Brandon!!

I called ahead to confirm the vehicle I was interested in was there because we were 1 1/2 hrs away. When we got there they had filled the gas tank, checked it over and had it ready for a test drive. We came to an agreement in price in less than 10 minutes and got a wonderful deal on a car I'd been searching for for weeks! The vehicle is in fantastic condition and I couldn't be happier with the service we received.

This was as seamless as it gets. George Lichowid called me to set everything up. He had me send over my information early so he could minimize my time picking up my car. That is exactly how it worked. I arrived he had the car (ford explorer) ready to go. A couple of signatures and some highlights about the new explorer (this is my second explorer) and I was on the road. I saw a 2012 Mustang online and their website. Let me say that I was impressed by the amount of photos uploaded that showed the condition of the car really well, So we made the 3 hour drive from Williamsport and I am so happy we did. Recently I traded in my 2014 Explorer for a new 2016 Explorer at Brian Hoskins Ford. The individual who assisted me with the transaction was Matt Lutter. I had dealt with Matt on my previous car and was pleased to have the opportunity to work with him again.Matt was completely prepared and had all of the paperwork and approvals ready when I went to pick up the new Explorer. From dealing with the lender ( Citadel ) to working out the transference of the Sirius radio service Matt had everything completed for me. As impressive as his level of preparation for a returning customer was it was exceeded by his knowledge of the product. Matt was able to clearly explain to me all of the changes and new technology found in the 2016 Explorer. I picked up a fleet vehicle and was thoroughly impressed by the sales consultant (George Lichowid). Specifically I was impressed by how George took the time to explain the car features and options with calibrating my Bluetooth and loading in my phone book into the Sync system. Mind you this was a fleet vehicle, I did not purchase this car directly so for George to take the time to do this for me was highly impressive. I could tell George had a great deal of knowledge with technology, far exceeding what I know. I purchased a new F-350 Lariat from Brian Hoskins Ford. I had emailed them (and Ford) regarding an issue I had with my rear bumper. No response - no follow up - nothing. Hey I realize when you drive off the lot you are kind of on your own. But really no phone call - no nothing. And no follow up from Ford either? I had an F-150 which I absolutely loved and hence my decision to go with the 350. I guess I will need to re-think my future car/truck purchases. When you spend that kind of money on a vehicle you would think the dealership would like to make sure you are satisfied or at least make the attempt.

I am writing this review to not only let everybody know what a fantastic job Ed K and Mike C did in making not so good news turn into the best news ever but to express how appreciative I am to have Brian Hoskins Ford on my side when it comes to getting a new car. I absolutely was so impressed that Ed K went and talked to Ford Motor Credit for many hours to get me approved in a new car but the best is when I can call my sales rep while he is on a hunting vacation on his cell phone in the middle of nowhere and he answers me with a quick response that everything will be fine and it really was. I live 75 miles from this dealership but continue to drive to Hoskins to get my vehicles because they are so good to deal with. I trust them with everything I do. In the last few weeks I was looking for a convertible as a second car. I saw a Mini Cooper at Brian Hoskins and went to take a test drive. I made the decision to purchase it and went back the next day to sign the paperwork. As I was sitting at the table, a red 2013 Mustang convertible caught my eye and I decided I no longer wanted to purchase the Mini Cooper. My sales associated Eric Wroten was excellent and had no issues with me changing my mind, even though the paperwork had already been started for the Mini. We took the Mustang for a test drive and I was sold. He started the paperwork again and within an hour my transaction was completed. They detailed my car and made it perfect for me to pick up the next day. I could not have been happier with the service and professionalism of Eric. He could have been irritated that I changed my mind after he had completed the paperwork, but just wanted to see me happy with the purchase I was making. I would recommend Eric and Brian Hoskins to anyone looking for a Ford or a used car. Scott who does all of the financing was also excellent. He worked with me on the options for payments and had all the financial paperwork done in no time. Thanks for making my car buying experience so pleasant, I love my Mustang!

From the minute I arrived to test drive the new Ford F-150, Mike was friendly and efficient. He had prepared a few truck and financing options for me, so no time was wasted. He was forthright with rebates, incentives and dealer pricing, so I knew what it might cost me to get what I wanted. At first, I wanted to custom build a truck, but it turns out that a great truck already was on the lot. I test drove that day and told Mike that I wasn't ready to make a decision. Here's where the experience is set apart... no "let me go back into the room" or "what can I do to make you buy this today" spiel! He thanked me for coming in and told me that I could contact him any time if I wanted to take it further. THAT is what I appreciated most! Over the next few days, he followed up via email and we negotiated a deal that worked for both of us. A week after my first test drive, I made an appointment and bought the truck. They even sent someone to pick me up at my house! The buying process was just as smooth and quick as my first visit. Mike had prepared almost everything ahead of time (even the car detailing!) and he respected my decisions to not add on any of the "extras." He walked me through the car's features in detail and I drove off 2 hours after arriving a happy new car owner. Thanks Mike!

Purchased a 2014 Ford Mustang and was extremely impressed with the process from beginning to end. I have probably purchased about 6 cars over my lifetime and this was by far the best experience I have ever had. I priced out about the same Mustang at 4 different dealers and Mike C at Brian Hoskins not only offered the best deal, but got back to me quickly with numbers and follow-up. My wife and I drove all the way up from NJ and were not disappointed as the deal was exactly what we discussed on e-mail. I was pretty shocked that it was such a smooth process compared to other times buying cars. We ended up getting much better treatment compared to closer dealers in Wilmington, DE and Media. It seems these guys really realize that people value a smoother and quicker experience given the shortage of time we all have these days!Scot the finance manager was also great. He was extremely friendly and accommodating. He presented us with different options without us feeling pressured. He was also quite personable. Really great experience from beginning to end. I saw a few vehicles I was interested in and reached out to them and eventually to Hoskins. Mike was beyond professional, accommodating, friendly, and speedy with any correspondence (he answered all 1000 of my annoying questions). Best of all, never pushy! My husband and I traveled the 30+ miles to do business with Mike on a Tuesday night, we traded in 2 cars and drove off the lot with our new Focus Titanium in less than 2 hours. We bought a used truck and once we got it home we inspected the truck closer and there was 4 things wrong with it!!! TOO MANY! Those things should have been taken care of before being put on the lot. However I still thought the dealership was ok until we took it to them to get it fixed. We made an appointment and it took over a week until we got the truck back. We kept calling and they would say tomorrow and it was not done then they would say the next day, still not done. This went on for 8 days. The service manager never said sorry just kept making excuses. We were so angry we decided to call the general manager and to my surprise he never even called back. Basically once you buy the car, the professionalism and care you receive is poor!

I purchased an F150 here in 2010 and have had a solid 4 star experience between the vehicle and the buying process. I still own the truck. I also have an F250 company truck. My company wants all service to be done at a dealership. My work schedule is very intense and it is very difficult to not only be without the F250 for a day but to also coordinate dropping it off and picking it up. I made my appointment 2 weeks ago to look at the transmission and was very clear to Kevin Trost over the phone that I understood parts and availability and I understood that the entire repair may not be possible in one day. I also let him know of my work situation and that I could not leave the truck more than one day. I requested that the problem be diagnosed the day of my appt and if necessary I would make another appointment for repairs once the parts came in. 2 weeks later I take the truck in the night before the appt and reiterated to Kevin what we had talked about when I scheduled the appt and that I needed the truck for Friday. He understood and said no problem. The day of the appointment I waited around until 5 with no word from Kevin. When I called for an update he told me they were just getting ready to look at it and they would have to keep it through the day tomorrow. I told him that didn't work for me and that I would be there to pick it up shortly. In the mean time I scheduled another appointment with a different dealership. This may seem like a minor issue, but I had this appointment for 2 weeks and clearly stated how they needed to accommodate me which I didn't think was an outrageous request. They do not consider customers schedules and have no regard towards inconveniencing anyone. I am in a very similar industry to the automotive industry. I am in outside sales and deal with a shop and service and parts with a $2bil/year manufacturer. I know that my company would NEVER treat a customer this way. I go above and beyond for my customers every day and know that I do everything in my power to keep them happy. To be treated like this is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, once I addressed my discontent with Kevin when I picked my truck up there was no apology. I am not done with Ford, but I will not go back to Brian Hoskins for anything after this. Luckily in this area there are quite a few different Ford dealerships that I have the option of dealing with.

I recently had the pleasurable experience of buying a new 2014 Ford Mustang from Brian Hoskins Ford. I found the ad on line for a well equipped Mustang, and contacted Marie DiMassa. Marie was prompt and thorough. She addressed my questions and concerns, and provided prompt returns of my phone calls and emails. After a few offers and counter offers, we had completed a deal for the new Mustang and for my trade in. Being from Ohio, it was a full day's drive each way. Marie had the paperwork ready to go and efficiently concluded the purchase process. Joe DeMarino provided great insight into operation of some of the subtle features of the car, time well worth spending. Scot Shandler greatly assisted with description of extended warranties available. Bill Tarter offered some friendly advice for driving in the local area and for the long trip back home. (turns out Bill and I are from the same home town, so the chat was very friendly and enjoyable).All and all, a great buying experience. The BH Team graciously answered my many questions, and made sure that everything was in order to complete the sale. I would highly recommend the Brian Hoskins team.

Search the Internet for about a week and found the truck I was looking for. I sent a request that I was interested in the truck and Mike got back to me the next day. The following Sat during a snow storm he had the truck inside the shop for me to look at. The photos of the truck was dead on. We took care of the paperwork and I was a proud owner of a Ford Raptor. Drove out Monday with my trade and the truck was ready to go. Spoke to Joe prior to driving out since Mike was on snow duty and he offered to have the truck delivered to me 1.5 hours away. Mike spent the time going over all of the controls and options for the truck.

I brought my Ford Focus in for a code engine miss on number 2 cyl. Your service department told me a plug wire was off on number 4, then they told me a list of things they found wrong from brakes to lites to a timing belt. I told them to fix the issues. They charged me over $ 1000 and I thought all is well. A week later engine starts to miss again turning on the check engine lite setting a code miss on number 2 cyl then it went away then it happens again 2 weeks later. So I take it back and they say it needs a coil pack. I told them the car was here before for the same issue and they didn't fix the issue but sold me a bunch of stuff I didn't come in for. Don't they garrantee their work. The service writer gave me attitude and said he only can tell what the issue is right now. I asked how do I know 2 weeks from now the same thing doesn't happen and they sell me some other fix. Don't you garrantee your work-- no answer from the service writer. He tried to sell me a battery even though the battery had not been giving me any trouble even with this artic weather --I told him to fix the issue I brought it in for and nothing else. When I went to pick the car up the battery was dead-- is someone playing games. The bill was 356.00 for a coil pack. I was not happy with the service or the way I was talked to by the service writer. I just wanted you guys to stand behind your work-- big disappointment. I will not be back. New update as of 02/27/15-- I received a call from the general manager, Ed. He had read my review and felt I had not been treated right and wanted to make things right. I was surprised as I was not expecting the dealer to be reading the review I wrote warning others of the way I was treated. Anyway Ed apologized for the way I was treated and told me he wanted to reimburse the labor charge for the second repair installing a new coil pack to solve the number 2 cyl miss I had brought it in for the first time. Thanks Ed, general manager, and Abby in service who took care of the reimbursement. Much happier now.

I had called Mike up about 4 weeks ago and asked him to call me when they received the 2015 mustang, and he did on a Monday, and with the crappy weather that week, I finally made it up there praying it was still there, and it was. Mike happened to be on vacation that Saturday, but when I walked in Joe new exactly who I was and what I was there for. I have purchased 2 mustangs with Brian Hoskins and this is my 3rd. Matt filled in for Mike while he was away and went over with me on the basic stuff on the Sync and the display screen. I was in and out of there in 2 hours. Matt was my primary salesman and Mike spent considerable time with me at delivery showing me the controls and nav/entertainment system. Both were extremely friendly and demonstrated that they truly enjoy their work. I don't know who calls the shots (short of Brian himself) but they were very accommodating in marking the car as sold while I scrambled to get the money together. Being that 2014 is the final model year for Mustang before the new 2015 design, 2014's are in short supply, so I appreciated them taking it off the market for me. The only thing I would have liked to do differently is schedule a later day and time for Mike or Matt to show me the nav/entertainment system. It's a relatively long process when all I wanted to do at the time was drive my new car out of there. I wasn't really absorbing everything Mike was telling me at the time. But he really knows his stuff. And Matt spent time on his day off ensuring that the car was prepped before delivery. Everything about my experience was extremely positive.

I have a question for you Brian; Why do you waste your time and money by maintaining a maintenance scheduling option? Because apparently it doesn`t matter if you make an appointment or not, unless you stay with the vehicle apparently you go to the back of the line...consistently I might add. The first attempt occurred over a month ago, I called and spoke with Kevin Trost, a senior service manager and explained to him that I needed an oil change, and to investigate pulley/belt noise on my 2004 F-350 6.0 diesel dually crew-cab truck. I told him I`d drop it off Sunday evening, he`d have the truck all day Monday, and give me a call when he was through with it. Well after getting off work at 3:00pm (and no phone call) I called Mr. Trost to ask what the status was on the vehicle, he made some excuse that they`d like to keep the vehicle over-night as the tech had investigated but hadn`t yet determined the cause of the noise. I told him no, I needed the truck back because my wife needed her car back, (a car she bought from your dealership I might add), and we`d be down to pick it up. Mr. Trost asked if I still wanted the oil change performed. At that point the entire situation became clear to me; much to my surprise not only was the vehicle not complete your service department HADN`T EVEN STARTED ON IT. I told him to perform the oil change and within less than an hour he called back that the oil change was complete and we collected the vehicle. With the previous experience in mind I scheduled a service appointment a week in advance for today, I clearly communicated with the service manager on duty my wants and needs at that time, and left the vehicle last Sunday (yesterday) with specific instructions to investigate the idler and tensioner pulley`s, replace them if necessary and replace the serpentine belt. Again I dropped the truck off Sunday evening, making sure to use the drop box and providing written, specific instructions. While at work at approx. 10:00am I called the service department to enquire as to the status of my truck and received a curt answer that "you dropped it off, we give priority to the people who are waiting on their vehicles, we`ll call you when we can tell you what`s wrong and get your authorization to fix it". Wow. Really? THEN WHY MAKE AN APPOINTMENT? GET THIS; After getting off work at 3:00pm I drove to your dealership and "cruised" the service department lot looking for my truck. When I didn`t see it my first thought was "well, they`re working on it". I parked my wife`s car (the second time I had to borrow it, inconveniencing her again), approached the counter and spoke with Mr. Trost as to what the truck`s status was. He replied "oh, we`re working on it, give us another hour or two and I`ll call you". Satisfied that what I thought was perhaps a miscommunication on my part during the first attempt had been rectified and my truck was being worked on, I went home and waited, telling my wife she`d have her car back shortly and I could continue to plan a trip to Pittsburgh to visit with my family over the holiday weekend...then the phone call. Mr. Trost explained to me that the technician had just started the work, and that the estimate was approx., $1100.00! He was asking for permission to proceed, and again the vehicle would have to remain there overnight! So HE LIED to me. Again I was sent to the back of the line and the vehicle hadn`t been touched the entire work day. I called back after first approving the work and told him to stop, put the truck back together and call me when it was ready, Brian as my wife as my witness that phone call came less than 30 minutes after I hung up the phone...when we picked the truck up I had to wait 10 minutes to speak to Mr. Trost who initially was going to charge me a half-hour of labor but canceled that charge considering the circumstances I suppose. When asked why my truck hadn`t been touched all he could say as "I don't know". WOW. GREAT! YOU CALL THIS SERVICE? B. Patronie

Came in 3 weeks ago and bought a "Used" car. The sales man was great. We kept them open late because they were selling cars like hot cakes that night. Two weeks and three calls, they were asking me for the title on my trade in. It was in the contract "THEY" needed to make the last payment so "THEY" could get the title. When I called the company, they had not received the payment for the payoff after two and a half weeks. The bill is due in 1 week and I don't need a bad credit score because a payment wasn't made on time. Now my reg was due at the end of the month, (because they didn't give me a new tag, still have my old tag) and they want me to jump through hoops with penn dot for me to pay the updated reg and they will pay me back. They still owe me money for the pay off of the old car. Then they will have to re transfer it back. (too much hassle if you ask me) They said they would give me a new tag but it's a bit out of way from home, 30 Miles or so. Selling the car was wonderful, the paperwork not so happy about. Three weeks later and I have a bad license plate on the car and a payback on the pay off. I would give them a week or so to get this all taken care of, but three weeks later I feel like I'm driving a car thats stolen because I don't have proper paperwork on the car. I drive around 60 miles a day. I don't need to get pulled over by a police officer and explain all this too him. They are really nice but i guess they rushed too much and didn't listen to the full story of my car. But I will admit, I love my Ford Escape.

Mike Ciarlone negotiated the deal with me over the phone because I live over an hour away and they had the specific vehicle that I wanted. We settled on a figure for the purchase vehicle and my trade and when I came in there was no b.s.. Everything was simple and went smoothly. I have a lot of experience purchasing vehicles and I must admit, this has been by far the best one. I live within walking distance of a Ford dealership however I will be traveling an hour to Coatesville to see Mike for my next purchase.

Went in to buy a used BMW 135i I saw on their website, and when I first came in I was greeted by a salesman named Roger. We went outside and checked out the car, and was even kind enough to let me bring the car into the service bay to check it out since it had gotten dark out. Roger was friendly and helpful in answering my questions and was overall a great guy. Then when it came time for the business, we sat down, he had my trade appraised, and we began the negotiation. Them knowing I came from a distance to buy the car, they low balled the crap out of me. I told Roger that these figures were laughable, and presented a counter offer with the intentions of speaking to the manager since obviously it was not him who presented feces on the paper in front of me. Then this is when the experience went down like the Hindenburg, right when I was greeted by this smug guy named Joe DeMarino. When Joe first approached me he wouldn't even sit down because he thought it was "a waste of time." I had to kindly ask him multiple times just to sit down so we could begin a negotiation, and when going over the figures, he'd bring his price down by a few hundred, and expect me to move up a few thousand. He was basically asking me to tell him that I was willing to pay six grand over price for it. I told him it was absolutely ridiculous and that he couldn't possibly manage to broker a deal like this. He said that there was nothing left to talk about and stood up and walked back to his desk without returning with my keys, making me sit there for a good five minutes before I got up myself to go to him and retrieve my keys. During this time, I also found out he was trying to run me several thousand OVER book for the 135i! I would say all of this is shocking to me, but it definitely explained why I was the only customer in the dealership; maybe they were trying to make rent off that sale? I'm sitting here a month later writing this review because I saw the price drop online by a few thousand, and I thought hey that's funny... didn't Joe say that somebody would buy it the next week? The funniest part of it all was that I was willing to spend a few grand, cash/finance/whatever I wanted the xxxx car, but even as it sits there, I'd rather walk to work than listen to that guy try and run train on me again. Absolutely horrible experience from him, but Roger was a great guy. Would not recommend to anyone.

During my test drive they evaluated my trade, and when I returned, we sat down and had a brief conversation. Joe DeMarino (used car manager) joined the conversation as well.I left the dealership that night (about one hour of my time) to stop and think. No pressure at all from Matt or Joe. The next afternoon, Matt and I horse traded through a couple of calls and nailed the deal down. I arrived at the dealer at 4:15 and left at 4:45 with my new truck. Scott Shandler, their finance manager, had all the paper work started when I got there.All in all, this was the best experience Ive ever had buying a car. I made the deal as lucrative as possible for the dealership by trading my car, financing through them (at a small premium over what my bank offered) and buying a warranty. They responded with a very aggressive final price. I highly recommend them.

Lexus, Audi, Cadillac but then stumbled upon the new Fusion which I'd previously dismissed along with similar Chevy / Dodge / Nissan / Hyundai offerings. The Fusion was quickly gaining my interest based on lots of web reviews so I decided to contact Mike at Brian Hoskins via the internet for a test drive. I've found Mike to be pleasant and knowledgeable and I had a great test drive and several follow up visits with him. I finally decided to purchase a Fusion because I really liked it, but I bought it at Hoskins because of the people that work there. I got it for a price I was after, in the color/options I wanted, and they even brought in from out of state quickly on short notice. Through the entire process Mike was always offering alternatives without being pushy, so if I'd overlooked something it was almost certainly brought to my attention so I could make the best decision possible. Took a rough running '06 F150 taken in for service. Ford has a known issue with spark plugs for that year and model. There are some four class action lawsuits, so the issue is well documented. Google it and you can read all about it. Basically, the plugs crack when removing them. Broken pieces sometimes have to be fished out if they fall into the engine. Ford even has a special tool to deal with the issue, which is tantamount to an admission of design flaw. My replacement plugs ended up costing $1,000 dollars. Worse, the next day, when the truck STILL ran rough, they cited a new issue (VCT solenoid), and said it was pure coincidence that it broke while they were replacing the spark plugs. That strains credulity, to say the least. They then proceeded to charge me an additional $650 to repair that! Of course Ford corporate does not get involved in workmanship issues, so I was at the mercy of the service manager and his unverifiable story of the service situation. I would discourage anyone from purchasing a vehicle at Brian Hoskins Ford.I had purchased two other trucks from them, but will consider Toyota now. On the upside, it seems like a casual place to work. I noticed employees gathered around a computer watching YouTube videos.

My daughter just got her driver's license in December and managed to bump into a guardrail after only 6 months of driving. She was fine, the car was not. We started with a used Ford Escape and I decided after this accident that I wanted a bigger car for her to drive, so I focused on the Ford Explorer. I went online and checked many different sites, and found a nice looking one at Brian Hoskins Ford in Thorndale, PA. Although I only live ten miles away, I had always gone in a different direction when purchasing my vehicles. Not any more.From the first phone call, to the last follow-up one, I was greeted with kindness, informative conversation and a willingness to accomodate my needs and my price range. No push, no pressure, just a friendly "let's do this" kind of sale which I found both inviting and refreshing.I first spoke with Ed Kovach on the telephone and he held the car until I could get there the following day. I looked at the car, loved it - it was everything they said it would be - and we shook hands and I drove away the following day with a beautiful, well maintained new "used" Ford Explorer for my daughter. Ok, it's really for her to drive, but I leave my Benz in the driveway and sneak hers because I am a Ford girl, bigger the better, and I love the tow hitch for my bike rack and boat trailer. After making my selection of a 2013 Ford Fusion and being offered several vehicles to test drive, Brian Hoskins Ford allowed me to continue driving the loaner vehicle until my color choices, exterior and interior were arranged. The delivery of my new vehicle was painless, seemless and effortless on my part. When I arrived for pickup, everything was ready. The first time I spoke with Michael, he was very informative and knowledgeable. I was unsure of what I wanted in my vehicle and Michael took the time to send me multiple options and did a great deal of research to find SUVs that matched my criteria with and without all of the options. When I came in to test drive the Escape, I told Michael I did a great deal of highway driving and he pointed me in the direction of the 2.0L ecoboost. I insisted that I wanted the 1.6L ecoboost, so he brought that around. He was correct! For the amount of travel I do on highways the 2.0L is the way to go. This reassured me that Michael understood the Escape and its options very well and it made me feel very comfortable that I was working with the right person. From there on out, Michael went the extra mile to make sure I had everything I needed. He was very professional and was a pleasure to work with. I will definately recommend the dealership and Michael to others when they are looking for a new car. Thank you and the car is amazing!

I corresponded with Mike Ciarlone via email for about a week prior to the purchase of my 2010 Nissan Maxima. I live 6 hours from the dealership and was able to negotiate my trade in and the vehicle purchase mainly through email conversation. This dealership was a 3 hour ride from my house but they had a preowned truck I was interested in. Mike Ciarlone in Internet Sales was great and not like a typical car salesman, which is a good thing. We handled all of the negoiating through email and Mike assured me they would be able to get close to what I wanted for my trade so I decided to make the 3 hour trip down. I arrived at 11:30am, test drove the truck, agreed on a price, signed all of the paperwork, and I was on my way home with the new truck by 1:30pm. What to say, I entered in a request at Ford to have have someone contact me regarding my trade in on a possible new Ford Fusion. Mike Ciarlone contacted me immediatly and i visited Brian Hoskins the following day. I met with Mike in person and it happened to be his day off, he took the time to go through all the possible options available to me regarding the type of car as well as finance options. At the end of the day I wanted a blend of two cars options as well as a color that was not available (on the lot) with those options . Mike stated that would not be a problem and that he would find the car at another dealer. Mike contacted me the following day that they had found the car and would be picking it up the next monring and the car would be available around 4pm. I rolled onto the lot at 3:55pm just as my new Fusion was being backed into the space for my arrival. Paperwork was all prepared, took approx 15mins. Mike then went over the car with me for about an hour to make sure that I was comfortable with all the options. I almost forgot to mention that all of the above was done within my price point set on day one. Bottom line was this was the most hassle free, enjoyable car buying experiance I've ever had. Thanks Mike!!

I found what car I wanted on the internet and sent an email that was answered almost instantly. Got a trade "offer" just by giving them my old mustangs VIN number and received that amount when trading in. This made running numbers to see what monthly payment I would end up with and allowed me to talk the wife into getting a SWEET MUSTANG GT PREMIUM. The internet guy (Mike Ciarlone) was a cool guy that made things move along fast and smooth (it was an hour drive for me). Paperwork was a breeze and the car was VERY clean inside and out, not only when we arrived, but also as I drove away with it. One of the best parts....you can take the mustangs on the highway!

Was looking for a 2012 Ford Flex Titanium Ecoboost. Only found 2 in the whole US that fit the options that I wanted. Contacted this dealer about one that they had. They had a Demo model with about 5000 miles for sale. Dealer was very difficult to work with, took days to respond to questions (Buying a car sight unseen there were many questions we had since we couldn't see or test drive car). Finaly gave a fair offer to the dealer based on research and what Kelly Blue Book stated car was worth, and this was the response I got from the general manager:Good Morning. I am the General Manager of this store and when I am asked what my very best number is for a vehicle by someone that lives 2500 miles away, the last thing I would do is give anything but my very best price. You asked how much it would cost to transport the vehicle to California, you asked how much taxes and tag fees would be and you asked if I could include extended warranty coverage to cover the 4000 miles or so that are on the vehicle. They did not pressure us, but provided excellent guidance in response to our questions concerning cars, leasing, purchasing, and giving us the space to decide for ourselves what was best for us. This was the most pleasant experience I've ever had in purchasing a car.The training that was provided to us to use all the features offered in the car was very thorough. Everything was gone over with a fine tooth comb and we came away having a basic understanding of how everything worked. Again, I have never experienced suchthorough education of a vehicle and its features with any other dealerships in the past. In the past, I didn't use most of the features in the car I purchased because I never knew how to use them and the owner's manual was so confusing that it didn't help at all.Mike did an excellent job explaining and demonstrating how things worked.I will certainly recommend this dealership to others and I myself will return to purchase another vehicle in the future.

There was a problem with the lease..20 per mile charged, should have been .15.Mike took care of the issue promptly and we received a correction in the mail from Ford within a week.Finance manager did not go over details of paperwork. Called to schedule appt. for Ford Recall. Told the service person who answered the phone what we were coming in for....recalled torque converter. He gave us an appt. We dropped off the car at the designated date. Service called us several hours later and asked us if we ever had any work done on transmission. "No" was our answer." Then Kevin said "we don't have the part....it has to be ordered via the vin number. So after taking a day off work and my husband losing time in the morning....and me with no car.....we have to take it back....again! Why couldn't the man who scheduled the appt. ask for the vin # so that the part would be there? Kevin's answer to this question was "I don't know why he did that". Really?!! This isn't the first time we have dealt with the indifference of this service dept. They have no common sense and they don't care how they inconvenience people. I have left a voice message to the service manager and of this writing, she has not returned my call. Kevin didn't even apologize. They just don't care.

I have Dodge trucks for the past 15 years or so. I have recently purchased an enclosed trailer to haul a couple of ATV's in and my Dodge 1500 with the Hemi just didnt quite have took to get out across the mountains to north central Pa.. I started calling round looking for a newer truck with a diesel motor to get me where I wanted to go, with no luck. I did a lot of research looking for a new vehicle that would suite my needs and landed on a crossover utility vehicle. I also decided to try and stick with Ford due to the fact that they did not take the bailout money and have been making great strides in reliability over recent years. I ended up focusing on the Ford Edge and Brian Hoskins Ford had the best price for a used Edge Limited AWD with low miles. I contacted the dealership with the cars.com chat feature initially and worked directly with Mike Ciarlone, he was knowledgeable and friendly and gave me all the information I needed in a short time frame. I had to travel 40+ miles to go see him but he was very accommodating, to the point of coming in on his day off. I had just closed on my house and was hoping to keep the transaction brief to which Mike and his finance manager were great.I have purchased a lot of cars in a short driving history (12 cars at age 28) and this was one of, if not the most pleasant experience I have had... and it was for a used car! An unfortunate misstep on my part during the process was that I left my Oakley sunglasses in the visor of the car I traded in, when contacted Mike was great and took great care of my sunglasses, shipping them to me that day packaged with care. I cannot stress how accommodating and understanding he was from start to finish for this car buying process. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone reading this and to all of my family and friends. I had stopped by to look at a Ford Explorer SportTrac on Sunday and sent an email to Michael that I would stop by for s test drive. Michael was off the day I stopped in but Marie took care of me. After the test drive and while waiting for some finance numbers, I was browsing their website on my iPhone. Looking at the used car inventory, I found an Infiniti FX35. I asked to test drive it which they happily did. I went home, did my homework and sent Michael an email to call me the next day. I was planning to finance it with my credit union and gave Michael the rate and term; he was able to match it and I went in that afternoon and drove the Infiniti home.I my brief interaction with Hoskin's Ford, I found everyone to be friendly and professional. got a email and a call from a steve nawrocki about a mustang GT premium that i was interested in. Steve seemed very nice on the phone and stated they were willing to work on the price of the car. when't in to the dealer with a friend for a test drive and got a different salesman, must have been steve's day off. the salesman that we did get seemed kinda miserable and he liked to brag about his 30 years of experence and how steve only had 6 months of experience selling cars. The dealer wasnt willing to move off the msrp of the vehicle because "mustang GT's were very hard to come by and if I didnt buy it someone would be right behind me ready to jump on it". After being told that we could not discuss financing options until agreeing to buy the car, I left and got the same identical mustang for $3k less at a local dealer, with a lot less attitude and a lot more professionalism. Certainly wasn't expecting this from a ford dealer. I hope this isn't typical cause i have a hard time seeing a dealer stay in business acting like this.

I was on a search for a used Toyota Matrix online and came across the car I'd been looking for at Brian Hoskins Ford. I sent a message through Auto Trader's website and quickly received a response from Mike directing me to view even more photos of the vehicle on the dealership website. I was glad to see more views of the car and the quality of the pictures was much better too. Even though it was over an hour away from our house, we decided to go in for a test drive. Mike had the car ready for us when we got there and even though he was running late that morning, his co-workers were all very friendly and helpful with setting us up for the test drive. I feel we were given a fair trade-in price on our vehicle and Scot was able to get us a great rate for a loan. Mike emailed me within hours of my searching online for a Mustang. He told me he had a car coming in sometime that week but didn't know what day. Mike checked the truck when it delivered that day. And called me immediately to let me know it was in. He told me what kind of a deal he coukd make. If he had not, I would have gone to my local Ford dealer and not to Coatsville. In the showroom Mike was knowlegable about the car, set up a test drive quickly, answered any questions I had. He worked with me for a trade in that I could live with. I never felt pressured to hurry up and decide. It was just about closing time when I agreed to purchase the car. Mike COULD have told me that they would prep the car and I could pick it up the next day but instead, he got everyone working so I could have my car that night. Service must have had to hustle to get that car ready but they did it. Mike let me know every step of the purchase process and how long it would take. He stayed after the dealership had locked up and gone home in order to show me everything in the car and be sure I was comfortable before I drove off. I certainly would recommend this dealership and especially Mike.

We recently were looking to buy a smaller car. Ford had a special $500.00 off. We bought a 2012 Ford Focus thinking we got the $500.00 off. When we looked at the Bill of Sale later, we discovered that since we didn't get financing through Ford, we didn't get the discount. We were never told that we weren't getting the $500.00 off. If we would have known before the purchase went through that we weren't getting the discount we would not have bought the car at this time. One of the better experiences we have ever had at a dealer. Working with Robert was enjoyable as he made the process as harmless and down to earth as possible. Willing to haggle and super friendly. Had a question about the truck we purchased the next day and Robert called back the next day. Seem to value your service. So far our experience has been good and we would recommend this dealer to all our friends and family.

As a customer, I started dealing with Brian Hoskins Ford in August, 2007, with Joe DeMarino, sales manager, and Michael Ciarlone, salesman. As of last month, I have completed nine new sales and two used sales for myself and various family members. The trade in values have been very good and the final price have been very good. All family members are happy with their deals and their vehicles. The reason I like dealing with Joe and Mike is that there is no high pressure sales pitch. The service and parts department have always helped me in whatever way they could.

I am so excited and satisfied about my new car - as much today as I was 3 months ago when I got it. Everyone was great, from start to finish. They spent a lot of time helping me decide on the exact right car for me, and I couldn't be more satisfied. They also took all the time I needed to be sure everything was right before I pulled out of the dealership - even installing my new floor mats themselves. Great service and follow-up. I get reminders for service intervals that keep me on track with my PM schedule. They are easy to schedule appts with and comprehensive in looking at the total vehicle no matter what I bring it in for. I am on the road a lot all over the Northeast and I need to be confident and safe with how the vehicle is maintained.

This is the second car i bought from Brian Hoskins Ford. Every time i go in everyone from the service team to the sales team is extremely friendly. I bought my second car from Alfie. Alfie was a great salesman. He walked me through the whole process and explained everything he was doing. That was the first time i bought a car on my own. I will go to Brian hoskins every time i buy a new Ford.

From the first time I walked in the door, I've always had an exceptional experience. The staff are very friendly and informative. Purchased my car and have serviced with this dealer for a few years now and have always walked away with a smile. They treat you like they remember exactly who you are from one visit to the next. This dealer is terrible. We had bought a car from them in January 2011... As soon as we left the parking lot we noticed that the CD player was not working but it was 10 pm already but we talked to someone that told us they will take care of it, we just have to call them, because it is too late now, since they were closed... driving later we noticed that the mirror switch and car lock weren't working either. We took the car home because we live 2 hours away, and they said we can just get it fixed at a dealer near us and that they will pay for it... It's a good thing that we have purchased the extended warranty, otherwise we wouldn't be able to get anything fixed... When we called to tell them that we will be going to a dealer near us to get it fixed, they said no, that we have to come back to them, so my husband drove 2 hours again, just to find out that weren't able to fix the CD player. Also they treated him very bad, on the phone they said that they will return money for gas, and when my husband asked for them to do so, they said no... So he had to leave, we found a dealer who was going to fix the car, we dropped it off... it took 3 weeks to get approval from the warranty company and from the manager to send the check for the radio... Thank God the dealer that we had our car gave us a loaner, otherwise we wouldn't be able to get to work... Everyone at that dealer is so fake and not helpful, they tell you one thing and do something else... or don't do anything at all... you leave a msg and do not get a call back...Also they put the brakes on backwards, we could've killed ourselves...We will never buy a car from them ever again! Be aware!

Have been doing business with this dealership from a service perspective for many years due to close proximity. I was looking for a used newer car, they had one that fit my desires and in a few minutes I had a deal. Diamond Dave was helpful and friendly and his price required no haggling. I felt I received a good deal.Dave has also been friendly. This is why I choose him to deal with. They also complied fully for the few service items that needed repair. At times I have to be careful with service requests to make sure only what is requested is performed. Overall the dealership manager has been very friendly, helpful and appreciative of my visits and feedback. Nice guy.

We just purchased the 2011 Ford Explorer in the golden color; fresh off the manufacturing line; prebuilt to our specifications. I am so pleased with my new vehicle. I purchased a 2006 Jeep Commander Limited from Brian Hoskins Ford, and when I went to take delivery from them, my finances were held up due to some unforseen issues. At my request, Brian Hoskins Ford held this vehicle for me and was very patient with me until I worked out my finance issue(s).
