Looked at a truck that was in decent shape. I was told if it passed inspection it was fine. Tires should have been replaced and they could have touched up some of the body work. Priced right in line if that stuff was done. I was told they were sticking right to the price though.

The staff was amazing, from the salesman (Jeff) to the managers (Jonathon and Mike) and everyone else! The staff are very knowledgeable about the cars and we made a deal to purchase 3 cars without one bit of pressure or games! A very comfortable car purchase! The car is great.... perfect condition and Jeff Martin went over everything we needed to know about the car. The service area is gorgeous. We enjoyed several cups of Vanilla Cappuccino and snacks there while waiting! This was truly the best car buying experience I have ever had! If you are looking for a Toyota you need to go to Bristol Toyota! They will make it work for you... with no pressure or games!!

I had trouble finding the right car for me for the right price. I went to Bristol Toyota and met with Sharon and she was very ambitious on finding me what I was looking for. Overall great experience, all the salesmen were very nice and respective. No one was pushy and no one made the situations stressful. When the payments came out to be too high, they did everything they could to make it a more affordable payment. Would highly recommend.

Rodrigo went out of his way to make sure that my girlfriend and I were comfortable and confident in our buying decision. He listened to what our needs were, and with that, found a few really solid options to consider. Where Rodrigo really shined was in his knowledge about the vehicles and the products that Toyota offers (warranties, service benefits). He never missed a beat with any of my questions/concerns. It was definitely the best experience I've had with buying a vehicle.

David my salesman was awesome. Always very prompt with responding to every question I had. Very polite and always presented us with a smile and a hand shake. The only thing I am disappointed with is within the first week I had to pay for an allignment which I feel should have been taken care of by the dealership. Also the detaling of the car before we bought it was not done very well, car still had a lot of scratches on it when we took it home.

Our salesman David Levasseur was excellent throughout the purchasing process, we feel he genuinely wanted to help us buy the right vehicle for us within our budget. The dealership team resolved an issue when the delivery date had to be rescheduled at the last minute due to an oversight in our status as new residents in Rhode Island. I would have been happier being notified of this change personally rather than a short email (not from David). When manager, Keith Lincoln realised my concerns he responded promptly and worked hard to resolve the issue, he and David demonstrated how much they cared that we enjoyed purchasing our vehicle. I will happily recommend this dealership and am impressed with my first Toyota vehicle. Lets hope it's the first of many more purchases. Steven.

From the the first day that I came to Bristol Toyota looking to buy a used vehicle I was impressed with the outstanding customer service! Steve Axtell was extremely helpful showing me what was available to me for the price range I was in. Jim in finance was very helpful to me by giving me payment options. So much so that I was able to afford a 3 year warranty! I was also very impressed by the young man that greeted me in the drive-up service bay when I went to have the Rav4 inspected. My objective was to replace my 2009 VW Jetta TDI which is on the verge of a recall for emissions violations. It could not pass inspection and I could not delay. I purchased my 2016 Toyota Prius Two in less than two days. I got a very good internet price, expedited processing and delivery. It was a pleasant experience. AND I am getting 62-63 miles per gallon, which is far better than the 50 I got with the VW Jetta TDI that is headed for the crusher.

Everyone one was so helpful, no pressure at all. R J was our salesman and he was simply the best. Explained everything about the car we were looking for and really listened to us. Peter was a magician with the financing and the showroom and service area are spotless. I only wish we were younger so we could go there for many more years. We were able to get our retirement car, a 2013 Toyota Venza and we are on cloud nine. Bristol Toyota made my car buying experience enjoyable, while other dealers had been not fun. I shopped around, Bristol Toyota gave me a great upfront price that beat most dealers right off the get go. They were a couple hundred dollars more expensive than others, but they let me pick who I did the financing with. Ryan Silva was a very helpful and friendly salesman. They couldn't let me drive home with the car the day I bought it, (I am from another state, and they had to register it there.) They even had a runner drop the car off at my house two days later for the inconvenience. The car they ordered me was everything I wanted and everything they said it would be. Thanks a lot guys!

The moment I walked into the dealership I was immediately met with respect, taken seriously and catered to promptly with my request to test drive a vehicle. I was never once put in an uncomfortable position with any of the sales associates or made to feel like I was any less important than a customer buying a new vehicle. All my questions were answered to the best of the associates abilities and if they didn't know an answer off hand they would quickly find out for me. The finance department went above and beyond to find the most economically viable method for me to finance my truck as well. Overall it was a very welcoming and thoroughly explained process. Also I believe it was sales associate Ryan Silva's first sale and he was extremely professional and courteous throughout.

His assistance with explanation of various features that I was not familiar with made the transition easy.I am, however, disappointed with the prep of the car prior to delivery. Several areas had not been completly cleaned of the white plastic shipping material. Some areas on the lower level of the exterior had not been cleaned well, inluding the area at the rear of the car where a protective decal can be place if purchased. I have purchased or leased five Avalons prior to this purchase and never had a complaint about the delivery preparations. This includes a prior purchase at Bristol Toyota year ago.

Sharon was excellent! I made my appointment online, we went and test drove two Tacoma's from the lot. The test drive route they have is excellent, it allows you to see how the truck performs on the highway and around town. Sharon is great, very knowledgeable and easy to work with. She wasn't pushy, and never did it seem like she was trying to force me into a deal, an experience I've had in previous purchases. Excellent sales experiences in 2002 and now 2016 left me a dedicated Bristol Toyota buyer. I came in with a particular car in mind. I even had the VIN from the inventory on the website. Jes found the specific car on the lot and arranged the test drive without trying to steer me into a more expensive or complicated deal. We negotiated quickly engaging Paul Little to drive the value out of the deal I required and the dealership could accept. I did not go in with the intention of signing a deal that day. I intended to wait for President's Day sale. Jes cleared up that misunderstanding letting me know there would be no need to wait because the Highlander rarely goes into those sales promotions and asked simply where I expected to get to on a price. Then he and Paul worked the numbers to get us there and I signed the deal within three hours. I am the happy owner of a brand new Highlander XLE and enjoying its safety and security for the remainder of this lovely New England winter.

My wife and I started our car search several months back. One of our first visits was to the then Bristol Toyota Scion in Bristol Rhode Island. It was a rainy day that was brought to life by a great discussion with JR, a Sales Associate with Bristol Toyota. We told JR we were in the early stages of our search and needed a great deal of assistance. For the next hour, JR proceeded to answer all the questions on my wife's list. He was amazingly clear and to the point. He understood the Toyota Products and conveyed that quite clearly to my wife and I. He understood we were in the looking stages and he was there to guide us without the pressure. The visit with JR and Bristol Toyota stayed with us for the next few months. Fast forward----After visits to several different dealerships and road testing numerous cars, a decision was made to return to Bristol Toyota and JR. What a great move on our part! Discussions on all aspects of a purchase proceeded from that point forward. With JR's continued assistance an agreement was reached to purchase a Toyota Highlander. The Highlander had all the comforts my wife wanted in a new car. She has finally downsized from her numerous Vans. The last being a Toyota Sienna, remarkable car, with 213,000 miles. This wasn't my first time in the car-buying rodeo. I've bought many and have seen my very fair share of very UN-fair dealers. Then enter Bristol Toyota...Fancy building aside (which was a nice touch, though), the team really stood out to me on all levels. From the online staff of Lynda (who worked with me on-and-off for months) and Sharon, to the floor manager David, my salesperson John Gomes, and lastly Jim in the finance office. I felt very comfortable, not pressured by any means, and we all shook hands on a great deal. Information was happily passed along at all steps of the transaction and I wasn't told to wait, to deal with things on my own, etc. No, this was a great working team. Team as in they all worked together. So many other dealerships I've been to treat each dealership employee as their own team and that's just terrible, to the point that it was irritating and I've left. At Bristol, though, it was a breath of fresh air.Again, I've bought many cars in my lifetime and I feel like this deal was very acceptable on all levels. I have purchased my second car from Steve Axetel at Bristol Toyota and will most like get several more from them when I need to. The entire process is painless and never once did I feel pressured or rushed. They priced their cars well and have given better then average money for the two trade ins I had. Granted they were Toyota trade ins but the other Toyota dealership offered me 3000 less no a similarly priced car! Jim in the finance department was even able to get a better rate once we sat down to finalize the loan. It is not a sell and forget experience. I must commend both JR as nd Roger L on their dealing with me. I really don't like buying a vehicle. But both Roger and JR treated me fairly and with respect. Bristol Toyota and John Gomes ROCK! Earlier this month we leased a beautiful 2016 Toyota Highlander. It happened to be the exact one that we wanted in terms of color and model, and it was on their lot. This is the fifth vehicle that we (including my son) have purchased/leased from Bristol working with John Gomes. I find that John and the Bristol Toyota management team are not only proficient in the products that they sell, but they also care about the customers they serve. They understand that buying a car is a significant financial undertaking for most people (at least it is for us) and one not to be taken lightly. Throughout the process, John was very respectful of our interests and was eager to help by providing technical info or answering any other questions. He was fantastic...never over-bearing. As far as price is concerned...we received a very fair offer...let me restate that...we received an excellent offer to lease the Highlander. Trust me, I am knowledgeable of the financials associated with auto leasing... it was an excellent deal. When we picked up the Highlander the vehicle had been prepped magnificently, both inside and out and with a full tank of gas. Rodrigo Santos helped with the delivery process. He too was fantastic. He made sure that we were familiar with all of the safety features and all the high tech stuff before driving off. All in all, this is our dealership, simply can't find a better one.

I really felt comfortable there and there was no pressure at all which made the choice more obvious for me to go with them. Very nice facility, clean everything, I honestly couldn't say more about how great this place was. Everyone was great that I interacted with and I will be sending everyone I know who's looking for a new car to them. I spoke with Sharon Jorde via e-mail and she responded promptly to all my e-mails and answered all my questions. I then worked with Kerry Parkos when I arrived at the dealership and he was excellent. He was very professional and made sure everything was taken care of. I really loved how everyone was very relaxed and allowed me to think about my purchase and wasn't trying to push me to make a decision. It made me more comfortable which allowed me to make my decision to go with them. Finally I worked with Jimmy Lane and he was great. Very nice guy who went over all my options and explained everything thoroughly and wasn't pushy at all which, again, was my favorite quality about this whole entire place. All in all I was very pleased 5 star business and I wouldn't hesitate to work with again.

I was told they would be the lowest price but Bristol was able to match their bottom line. Doesn't make sense to go anywhere else if they can offer the same deals in town.

The salesman was great. The sales staff, F&I guy, even the receptionist was great. My negative experience comes from the way they handled the situation when my (new to me) car broke down less than 36 hours after driving it off their lot, leaving me and my child on the side of a busy street in the early morning rush hour. Being from out of state I couldn't feasibly tow it back to them and had to get it towed and repaired locally, which I paid for up front. Because I am in the automotive business, I even got it repaired at wholesale price. After weeks of phone calls (mainly by me calling them and them not returning) and faxing the bills to them twice upon request to 2 different people, they finally offered me half of the repair bill. I had to threaten legal action for them to increase it and I "settled" for two thirds of the total cost of what I had to spend to get my car back on the road less than two days after purchase. I understand I didn't buy a new car but TWO DAYS AFTER PURCHASE? The right thing to do would have been "I'm terribly sorry this happened. What can we do to make it right?" Instead I got arguments, phone calls not returned, passed around to different managers, and after a month finally got to settle on a price because I just wanted to move on.

My first visit to Bristol Toyota was February 2012, I leased a Rav4. Mr. Gomes really listened to me and found me the vehicle I kept for 3 years. Mr Gomes was patient, informative, kind and helped me understand the lease process. When I returned this week Mr. Gomes had the day off. I was given a different salesman. He did not listen to my request and I left disatisfied. Due to my loyalty to Bristol Toyota I did return and once again Mr. Gomes was there, he listened made me feel comfortable, explained the changes in the Rav4 and found me the perfect Rav4 for me to lease.I can honestly say if it wasn't for Mr. Gomes I would have gone with another dealership. Overall a fairly straightforward sales transaction. However, a bit more drama in negotiation of the sales price with things like requesting my charge card to show the sales manager the "offer being discussed is serious" and then ultimately leading to a $200 change being made on the card upon acceptance of the offer prior to leaving the dealership to go to the bank for a check to make full payment. I would assume this is to limit "deal shopping" after final price negotiation. This process is a bit of a put off as it indicates the dealer does not trust it's customers. Not the fault of the salesman as he appeared to be following the a set policy and ultimately I obtained the car I wanted for a fair price.

The salesman I talked to, John D'Andrea was great to work with. He listened to what I wanted and did not try to sell me something I did not want. He had to order my Tacoma and told me it would be 4- 6 weeks before it came in, I had it in 2 weeks! It was exactly what I wanted. Every question I had, I got a prompt answer to. This is my first Toyota, it won't be my last. In the past, when I bought a new car, the relationship with the dealer ended when I drove the car off the lot. Not so with John and Bristol Toyota. I have had the truck just over a month and have had at least 4 conversations with John since the sale. The finance manager got me a better rate than I could get through my own credit union. Overall a great team to work with.

Ten years ago, I bought my first Toyota Prius. It was the only time in my life that I bought a new car from a dealer. I had to, because Priuses in 2005 were available only through waiting lists. There was no haggling on price or anything else. Take it or leave it.Two hundred and twenty one thousand miles later, I wanted another Prius. There was no comparison. The dealers wanted to sell me new ones, but ConsumerReports said the best values were Priuses with three to five years on them, and the average mileage on a five-year old was 68,000 miles.I shopped online all over New England. I was willing to go 100 miles for a great deal, and I found it in Rhode Island. Again, there was no haggling on the price, but I successfully negotiated the financing at Bristol Toyota, which will soon be in Bristol County, Massachusetts instead of Rhode Island. Because it was a Toyota Certified Pre-owned Car, I bought a car even better than new. I have been saving money since Day One.

After researching on line and in person, I decided to return to my local East Bay Toyota dealership for my 2015 car. I was guided through my investigation by JR, one of Bristol Toyota's knowledgeable and patient sales people, who helped me determine that leasing was an appropriate option. I was impressed by the respect I was shown, despite my being a woman alone, as well as the flexibility JR exhibited when I asked to repeat several test drives. He and the business manager helped make this a painless process. In fact, the business manager even initiated a conference call to one of my family members as we finalized our transaction.

My wife and I found ourselves in need of another vehicle, and drove from Connecticut to take a look at the one we were interested in. We met with JR, and instantly felt at ease. He answered all of our questions, and was more than helpful and patient as we chased our 1 year old daughter around the dealership. At no time did we feel any pressure to buy the vehicle, but knew that we wanted keep dealing with JR and the other members of the team at Bristol Toyota to find the right fit for our little family. First, I just want to say I wouldn't go to any other dealership and I wouldn't want any other salesman. JR ROCHA is a GREAT salesman, and I consider him a friend. I love the service I get every single time I walk in to this dealership,whether it be for a BRAND NEW SUV,for service, or just for browsing purposes. I walked in thinking there was NO way I'd be getting out of the mess I was in, and I walked out to a BRAND NEW 2015 RAV4!!!! These salespeople are definitely like family! I traded in my 2013 tundra and leased a new one from Bristol Toyota. They were great to deal with for the most part . The on problem is that I put a deposit down of 390 and my payment was only going to be 360 so at closing they said they would mail me the difference. They still haven't paid me and its been 2 weeks, I called and they said that they don't owe me anything. Shady

John D'Andrea took me around in multiple vehicles, he even let me drive to the highway about 5 miles away to get a feel for how the car handled on the highway. I was looking for a RAV4 for my Wife and started at Bristol Toyota because they had a huge selection of vehicles in multiple colors and packages. After getting some numbers on the vehicle I had picked out, I left to get a couple more quotes from other Toyota dealerships. I spent the next 3 hours looking around and ended up coming back to Bristol Toyota because no other dealership could match the price. The salesman JR and sales manager Paul went above and beyond to make thing work for me and I could not get that at any of the other dealerships. After the paperwork was complete I talked with Paula in finance to get the finishing touches done on the deal. Paula was not only very paitent but also very easy going and knowledgable of the Toyota products available. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone. Everyone at Bristol Toyota was very upfront and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need and I think that is the most important thing of all.

I am a widow and went in alone to buy a car, (first mistake) I should have brought someone with me. Steve was like a grandfather type and made me feel comfortable and since he knew some of my family members, I felt safe. After I signed for my lease Jimmy Lane stepped in and told me I needed to give him a check for $500 becuase I didn't have the title for my trade in, he said 'of corse we will not cash it - it was just a show of good faith' - until I could get the title. I had some trouble getting it at first because there was a lien on my car so I had to do some calling around to get the lien removed. In less than 1 week they cashed my $500 check without contacting me. When I asked Jimmy about it he told me at first he did not cash it, he told me someone found it and deposited it without him knowing...later Jim told me when Toyota gets the title to my used car, then I will get my money back. This has been over 2 months and I still do not have my $500. I called Steve Blakely and told him the story, he agreed with Jimmy and tried to tell me how they were all just trying to help me..Last week Steve told me my check had been cut and I would recieve it in a couple of day. A week later I recieved the check with money taken out of it for (registration fee) which I already paid with my origianal depost. I regret going to this dealership and am very dissapointed by these men.

I mostly come here to buy parts since I do a lot of work myself. The parts prices are much better than other local dealers and the parts guy is very knowledgeable.As for service, I had a mixed experience my first time there and wrote to the owner to complain (the work itself was fine, a clutch job but the time it took to do the job was incorrect stated). He called me back himself which I really appreciated and so I will give them a second chance.

I never thought I would write a review for a car dealership but that's how positive my experience was at Bristol Toyota. I can't say enough great things about the customer service team. Normally I wouldn't go to a dealership on my own, but I heard good things so wanted to try it. I wasn't disappointed. The team was extremely helpful and patient and gave me all of my options without any pressure. I went in for a used Highlander and ended up walking out with a brand new one. I helped a family member buy a pre-owned low miles 2012 Toyota Corolla from Steve. Steve greeted us right away, was very cordial, took us for a test drive, and answered all of our questions about the car. He had the trade in appraised while we were on the test drive which saved us valuable time. Some sales people are so fake and they spout a cheap sounding sales pitch. When I hear it, it is like nails on a chalk board. It is refreshing to work with Steve Blakely because you get none of that from him. No games or fast talk, just a great car at a fair price.

Had conversation with internet liason earlier in the day and advised her I would be there later with my trade to look at one on their used cars. Drove for a hour in snow and slippery roads. Once I was there I drove the vehicle I was interested in and decided I wanted it. I sat with the sales person and asked about my trade, he then advised me that their "used car manager" wasn't available to look at my trade. He then came up with a very crazy price for my trade advising me that my trade needed a lot of work which surprised me. I asked where he got that information and he showed me a print out from what seemed like the Toyota service data base .He said my trade needed a new catalytic converter and showed me the print out. Yes it needed one 30,000 miles ago and had already been repaired at that time but not at a toyota dealership so it didn't show up on the printout. I guess he had assumed that because it didn't show up it wasn't repaired. From a consumers point of view this sets the tone and the attitude for the sale. Needless to say I didn't accept his offer to bring back my "trade" tomorrow when the used car manager was there.... I had wasted enough of my time.

This was my third new car buying experience with Bristol Toyota.The previous ones were in 1997 and 2000.I was very satisfied both times previously and just as much this time.I utilized the Internet sales program and Barbara Azevedo gave me a great price on a Corolla LE(2013)very nicely equipped.Dawn Wellington handled the sale at the dealership and made the experience very pleasant and was helpful in every aspect of the transaction.There was no attempt to sell me packages or services I didn't need-they were explained and I made my decision with no pressure.The price was so reasonable that I accepted it with no second thoughts.I've had some work done at Bristol in the past-basically routine services.I was always satisfied.I would recommend this dealership without reservation.

I hate buying cars. I hate the whole sales spiel. I didn't have to put up with any of it at Bristol Toyota. They have a genuine internet sales program. I told them the vehicle I wanted, and they quoted me a price. When I went to the showroom, they honored the price. I wanted a manual transmission Corolla, and they had to order it, and it was no problem. The whole thing went smoothly from beginning to end. I definitely recommend this dealership. It's not the closest Toyota dealership to my home, but it was well worth the drive.

The entire staff at this dealer is outstanding. From the second we walked in the door, we were met with kindness and very professional service. Had some initial issues with the car after purchase, but when I brought it in for the second time the GM became personally involved and made sure that everything was done 100% right. They also comped the labor costs of some non-warranty customization that I had requested on the car to make up for the problems. Scott (service director) and Bruce (GM) were very professional throughout and I would gladly work with them again.

I came back to Bristol Toyota to purchase a new Prius because my first experience with them was such a good one. This experience was equally positive and I could not be happier. Barbara Azevedo walked me through the process with honesty, competence efficiency, good humor and enormous patience. Being able to see my options online before coming to the dealership allowed me to think my purchase options through. And I got a GREAT price. Paula Fragata, a gold mine of Toyota knowledge, found a way to get me the exact car I wanted sooner than I expected. Ana Teves simplified all my financial and vehicle transfer tasks, which initially seemed daunting, so that my two-car transaction was completed without any snags or delays. And, finally, Julian Schwartz did a masterful job of introducing me to my new Prius in a way that completely demystified my first hybrid. Even though I dont expect to need a lot of service, the friendly and efficient Bristol Toyota service department, where my Sienna goes, will be where I will take my Prius. The entire Bristol Toyota team is terrific, and will be where I will go for every car I buy.

This was just the best possible experience I could have gotten and I had gone to other dealerships before Paula sold me the car of my dreams! She was like magic to work with- warm, experienced, knowledgeable, patient, honest and thorough. Not only that, but she has such passion for the Toyota products and service, and also such respect for her fellow co-workers- she really defies the stereotypes. I found all of the employees I spoke with to be similarly concerned that I had a most positive experience and assured confidence about purchasing a car from Bristol Toyota. Lynda Ramsy was superb. Barbara was direct, helpful, and efficient. Brian helped my nine-year old with her homework while I learned and made the transaction, and another gentleman gave me such fatherly advice about credit card issues. My husband was out of town, but instead of feeling vulnerable in a situation of buying a new car on my own, these people took me under their wings to make sure I got what I was looking for and then some. But Paula was the best of all! She picked me up from my house the next day, escorted me to the bank, gave me the most patient and charming tour of the vehicle- always making time for me and caring that I understood all the functions and new technology on my new car. That was amazing, because it is a brand new model and some of these advancements she had only read about, it being the first car of that ilk on their lot. She certainly did her homework. She has also promised to look into getting snow tires for my vehicle since the Prius tires lack a little in traction to increase milage performance. I really liked that she admitted that weakness of the car in winter and respected my concern for safety over just glossing over any issues to get me to sign. As far as price goes, they matched that of another dealership and charged me less overall on some of the extras. She even had me come in the following day for more tutorials since I had a tight schedule on the day of purchase, feeling it was important that I know how to maneuver it and take advantage of all the bells and whistles right away, which I appreciated. I will definitely service my car there even though it is a tiny bit out of my way, since I am sure I will receive wonderful treatment and look forward to seeing all the friends I made there. A most positive and amazing experience, and I even got the car I had been longing for for so long- down to every detail! I will definitely tell my friends to go to Bristol Toyota!

Last Saturday was our first visit to Bristol Toyota Scion. We were greeted in the parking lot immediately by Julian Schwartz who was truly professional and courteous. My wife and I were returning customers. The Internet Manager, Barbara was terrific. However, after we test drove a RAV4 (that the Branch Manager was using) we agreed on a sale price with our salesman, Steve. Then Dan, the Floor Manager stepped in, gave us the run-around and jacked the price up another three-hundred dollars, even after we noted that the vehicle had over 3,000 more miles than advertised. If you want honesty and fairness go somewhere else!!!

This is the most amazing dealership in the world. I went there with my Nissan Versa and told them I had nothing but problems our of it with the registration in Rhode Island from Virginia, and they did literally everything they could to get me my 2009 Nissan Matrix. Even when the bank told them they couldn't give them the paperwork they needed they called higher up and got me the car THAT day. Dawn is absolutely awesome! Ask for her if you go!

This was by far our easiest car purchase to date - it took about two hours from when we first walked in to when we finalized paperwork. Jes was knowledgeable, courteous and efficient - there were no games when it came to pricing, etc. The gentleman that assisted us with financing (his name escapes me) was also great - he took the extra time to figure out which conditions would benefit us most. Overall, a great experience with staff that know their jobs well, and do not play games. Highly recommended.

The customer service here is outstanding! The customer service at Bristol Toyota Scion is superior to the customer service at the nine other dealerships I contacted or visited. The salespeople are mature and professional. They are honest, no sales talk, and treat you with respect (like you were a family member or friend). (This is also the only dealership I have visited with a female salesperson.) The dealership was able to quickly secure a car for me. They honor their online quotes and had one of the lowest prices around (only one other dealership out of ten had a comparable price to Bristol and their service was horrible). Bristol Toyota had an excellent price on the 2008 used Highlander on AutoTrader.com. I contacted them and received a prompt response. I went down to the dealership and worked with Paula who was excellent. The whole transaction was smooth and painless. The next day I went back because one of my keyless entry units wasn't working. I felt that the whole dealership did a great job helping me a buy and expensive used (demo) car that was in another state and on the road via a transport truck. I searched the internet, traveled almost 2 hours to Bristol to test drive the car and would do it all over again! The best in the New England area....by far!! In addition, the day I was to travel to Bristol to pick up my car, I couldn't remove the license plate from my old car; one bolt was frozen, so Brian authorized a courrier to come to my home, remove the bolt and ferry me back to Bristol. This was an Great Experience dealing with Steve Blakley and all the Management Staff looking for a new 2011 Camry. Steve knew what I wanted to spend and he and the staff were able to meet my needes. The Toyota Corporation insentive was oustanding and Bristol Toyota staff worked the numbers so that my monthly cost was lower than my current lease and I was able to walk out with a New 2011 Camry. My wife was pleased that she could get the color she liked as well. I was pleased that my current Toyota lease on my 2009 Camry was reduced. I was also pleased about the maintainance program for the first 2 years or 25,000 miles is FREE.I will and have recommended Bristol Toyota to all my friends. Living in Newton, MA with three young kids, my wife and I decided it was time to buy a minivan. At first we intended to purchase a new 2011 Toyota Sienna XLE or Limited trading in either our Prius or Lexus SUV. After some further thought, we decided to keep our current vehicles and purchase a used Sienna XLE with low mileage and/or recent year model.After searching online for used Sienna's in the Boston area, we expanded our search to include nearby locations in New Hampshire and Rhode Island. That's when Bristoal Toyota popped up on our screen with a very reasonably priced 2010 Sienna XLE that met our criteria (low mileage, Nav system, and entertainment system for the kids). Plus the vehicle was a Certified Certified vehicle.Our primary concern was the possibility of wasting our time by driving 50 miles away from home to inspect and perhaps purchase this vehicle. We traded a number of emails and phone calls with Barbara and Paula to obtain more details about the vehicle and find a time to look at the vehicle. The contact was very professional and prompt while never being pushy.I drove down with 1-year-old son one morning, mid-week between January snow storms. Barbara greeted us at the door, offered me a cup of coffee and directed us to Paula. Paula and I chatted for a bit about the vehicle while other sales staff kept a watchful eye on my son as he crawled around and explored the showroom floor. Paula had the vehicle up front, ready for my inspection and test drive. She helped me transfer my son's car seat into the Sienna and answered any questions I had as I test drove the vehicle around Bristol. All very low key, congenial, and informative. I decided we would purchase the vehicle.Once again, her colleagues entertained my son ("free babysitting!") while Paula and I discussed the purchase. Closing the deal with Paula and the dealership was very straight forward with no last minute surprises or dealer add-ons. They took care of all the MA registration and license plate details, coordinated with my insurance company, prepped the vehicle and personally delivered it to our home in Newton. First rate customer service. The best car buying experience I've ever had. And a dealership, whom days before I had never heard of, I am happy to heartily recommend to anyone interested in buying a car, new or used.Paula, Barbara and the entire Bristol Toyota Dealership could easily be a positive case study in Ken Blanchard's "Raving Fans" book which outlines how consistently delivering stunning customer service can result in not just satisfied customers, but raving fans and a very successful business.

First of all, I hate buying cars. I hate the gamesmanship: I hate being made to feel like a Supplicant, or an addict in need of a fix; I hate being made to feel guilty about striking a good bargain; I actually had a manager at a Honda dealership (rated very highly here, by the way) tell me about an internet price offered to me: I dont even want this deal. Im not making anything on it, At that moment, I decided that he was going to get his wish. He didnt get that bad deal-or the sale. But I digress-to repeat, I hate the total car-buying experience. After walking out of a local dealership (come on down), I began to read reviews about them here, and on several occasions, was impressed by the number of reviewers who, after having been jerked around by this bunch, encouraged the reader to go to Bristol Toyota, assuring that the experience would be entirely different. To quote several reviewers who live in my area (near Attleboro), Its worth the trip. They were right.My first contact with the dealership was with Internet Manager Barbara Azevedo, who responded to my email request for information with direct answers to my questions, and a very good offer on a new Corolla. That was all; just an answer to my email, a good offer and an invitation to follow up with the ball comfortably in my court, as it were. Very niceI followed up, spoke with her on the telephone, and the relaxed and professional manner of the way she dealt with me drew me to their door. I was met by Sales Manager Brian Peruggi when I walked through the door. I told him what I wanted, showed him my internet offer, and he introduced me to Steve Blakely. This was no hand-off; Steve and Brian were now my team. In fact, a few times, Steve stayed late or even came in on his day off to be there for me. He was, at all times, professional, friendly and courteous, and I never, ever felt pressured or handled in any way. And Brian was always a phone call away, no matter what the time.I was sold; now to sell the car to my wife, a Honda person who was skeptical. It was easy; I simply told her of my experience, and she came with me on my next visit, and understood what I was talking about. She will tell you that she has bought many cars, but never experienced anything like the friendliness and professionalism of Bristol Toyota.I cannot say enough about Brian Peruggi: although he is apparently the go-to guy in the dealership, and is constantly in demand, moving about the place like a whirling dervish, he found the time to stay with us throughout the entire process. He got us into our new Corolla with an incredible deal (yes, they honored the internet offer, and so much more); and while doing so, made us feel as though we were the only customers there. Bryans was the last hand I shook when I drove off in our new car. But the story continues: My twenty-something son needed new wheels and I brought him to Bristol. You know the rest. He got a great deal on a Corolla, he loves it, and he left Bristol Toyota feeling good about it.I had to have on more taste. I brought in a 2006 Magnum that had high mileage and was showing signs of age. No problem. New Prius. Lower payments.Three cars in one month; two of my own, and one for my son. And if I were looking for a car tomorrow, I would go there. Aside from the quotes (which were excellent) and the deals (which were fantastic) what I am left with is that for the first time in my entire life, I left an automobile dealership feeling good about my purchase and my experience. I feel as though I have made new friends who sell cars. Barabara and Buddy were very friendly and helpful(not at all sleazy like other dealers we visited). Went by the dealership on a Sunday and walked around the lot. We noted the vin numbers of a few trucks I was interested in and then went home and looked up the vehicles online.I send an enquiry to the internet sales manager Barbara Azevedo on two vehicles I was interested in test driving. I was pleasantly surprised to get an immediate response from Barbara and went to the dealership Monday evening. This was my first car purchasing experience and I cannot recommend Buddy (or his manager Bruce) highly enough. They were extraordinarily helpful as they went above and beyond their call of duty to make sure that I was getting the car I wanted at a price I could afford. When you call for a simple oil change they tell you about all the other things that need to be fixed or changed. Then again when you drop the car off they ask you again if you'd like the extra's. Once the oil has been changed they call to tell you the car is all set and then again they tell you about all the things that need to be done. It is very annoying! Giving you this information once would be sufficient.

It was a pleasure working with the folks at Bristol. I spent about $300-400 more than I could have elsewhere but their friendliness, non-pressuring sales pitch and honesty was well worth the extra few hundred bucks. I even tested them (as I do everyone) by asking a few questions I already knew the answer to see what kind of response I would get. If I had to buy another Toyota today, I would still shop around a bit, but I'm pretty sure I would end up at Bristol again and I would definitely recommend this dealer to others.

My most recent service was covered under my extended warranty and there was no problem. A few years ago I had a bad experience with another car manufacturer's extended warranty and was expecting an "argument", but that did not even happen, not even close. We came to Bristol toyota because we wanted to trade in a truck we were upside down on. We 1st dealt with Barbara online and we made an appt. We were greeted by Steve and Bruce at the door. I realize that it is a saleman 'job' to sweettalk but we didn't get that vibe, I felt Steve was honest and open and all three really worked very hard to get us exactly what we wanted and they did this using what we said we could afford. They didn't push anything on us. I found all of them very imformative and found they really do treat you like you are the only one there. They explained everything in detail and shared with us about there families as we were there with our two youngest children, who were very antsy sitting there. They were very understanding of this and moved things right along, even had ballons waiting for the kids when we came to pick up our new car. When we need to get our next car next year, you better believe we will be calling Steve again! Great place, great people and they REALLY do care. Thanks guys for all your hard work! This is the third time that my husband and I have purchased vehicles from this dealership and in particular, from Steve Axtell. Last week, I was in a car accident and my 1999 Camry, with only 125,000 on it, was a total loss. I knew I would buy another Toyota and I knew I would buy it from Steve Axtell. I had purchased a new toyota yaris at the end of 2008, the registration had expired without my knowledge because I moved and had a forward on my address and the DMV does not send registration renewals to forward addresses, now I know. The police pulled me over and took my plates for driving an unregistered vehicle...surprise surprise. I needed my car that night to get to work being a Registered Nurse working the night shift in the ICU. I went to the DMV that same day to register my car. After waiting 2 hours we went up to the desk only to be told they could not register my car because the name on my license was different than the name on my registration...duh I got married and that same DMV is the one that changed my license name! Well they wanted me to change my name on the title of the car before I could register. The title? I don't even own the car, toyota does. So we drove from the DMV to Bristol Toyota Scion (35 min drive) to see if we could get some help. Immediately someone was able to help us. They told us that there should not be a problem registering the car and they notorized a form for us and told us with our marraige license there should be no problem. We drove back to the DMV with our paperwork only for them to tell us "sorry we need a title". We called Bruce at Bristol Toyota Scion and he said he would contact the bank that they finance with. He contacted them and called us back within 15 minutes letting us know that it should be all set and the title should be faxed over within 10 minutes and we should be expecting a confirmation call from the bank, and Bruce asked us to let him know how things went. The DMV received the title by fax and we called bruce back, he was happy to hear that everything worked out and Steve Blakely my salesman from when I purchased the car also called us to make sure everything was okay. Basically with the prompt help of Bristol Toyota Scion, I was able to get my car registered and my license plates back from the police station that same day (keep in mind DMV closes at 330pm) and I had my vehicle back so I could get to work. Even the guy at the DMV said "good luck" when he told us we had to contact the bank. Thank you Bristol Toyota Scion, without people like you who knows how long we would have had to wait without a vehicle.

Very disrespectful and pushy. Very displeased with how I was treated and how they played games. I made offer they wrote it down. They made counter offer did not write it down. After a few days I called back willing to consider a the counter offer of a total price includint their doc fee. When I said I was willing to take their offer they then tried to add on the doc fee again and when I said I was told origionally that the price included the doc fee the manager stated they would never do that and his sales man would not have done that. When I stated he did and my wife was there so she had heard it too he had Jes pull out the paperwork from when we were there and said that it only showed our origional offer not the counter offer and at that point he told his manager that he did not say it. I was really considering paying the little extra for the convience but once they started getting pushy and telling lies about the origional offers I am very displeased and will definitly be telling everyone I know about this and the shady numbers business that they deal.

My wife and I had a fabulous experience with all of the staff at Bristol Toyota. We were interested in purchasing a Prius, but having never driven one we weren't sure if we'd like it. I emailed Barb and arranged to test drive an 08 Prius they had on the lot, but was outside of our price range. We arrived and a manager immediately introduced us to a sales associate (Buddy) to test drive the vehicle. He gave us a great lesson on how the vehicle worked and we took it for a spin. We got back to the dealership and he answered questions - never once trying to get us to buy the car since they knew our interest was only to drive one.After a week or so of searching at other dealerships with very different experiences than that of Bristol Toyota, we managed to finance a deal that let us drive the immaculate 08 Prius we test drive that first night home. The vehicle was offered, not negotiated - but offered, at several hundred dollars below Edmunds.com's True Market Value and with a small addition to the sales price has a 7 year/ 100000 mile warranty that covers almost anything. Any problems, we'll take the vehicle back to Bristol Toyota because they're customer service is head and shoulders above every other Toyota dealer within 25 miles.

When I arrived, he was waiting for me and proceeded to give me his full attention. I built my new vehicle on Toyota.com and sent it to Bristol Toyota for a quote. Barbara (internet sales) was very responsive to my questions and quoted me a fair price. When I went in to finalize the deal, they offered a fair value for my trade and had the new vehicle ready within a few days (the vehicle I wanted had to be transferred from another dealership). Both Steve (sales rep) and Brian (sales manager) were friendly and straightforward during the entire process. Anna (finance) was also pleasant to deal with during the closing process. I never felt pressured or lied to throughout the transaction, which was nice. They delivered everything they promised and made it quick and painless. I would definitely recommend this dealership.

I just purchased a 2010 Rav 4from Steve Axtel at Bristol Toyota. This is the first time that buyin a car has not been aggravating, frustrating and nerve racking. I am a 63 year old female and have bought many Toyota's since my first one in the 70's. This is the first time that I can honestly say that it has been a pleasurable experience. Steve Axtel, my salesperson, was pleasant, courteous, knowledgeble, patient, cooperative, and flexible. He worked with me every step of the way. There was no "let bring in the big guns" philosophy as in other dealership. I was not threatened, lied to, coerced, or otherwise intimidated as I have always been at other dealerships.I left Bristol Toyota with my new car and had no regrets whatsoever. I felt like I had received a fair deal. From the moment I walked in the door I was made to feel comfortable by everyone and was treated respectfully. What is strange is that when I went to take a test drive and met Steve, I was not actually in the market for a new car. By the time that I left the dealership that afternoon, I was really hoping that I could do business with them. They are a very unique dealership and Steve is not your typical salesman. Finally I have found a dealership truly deserving of selling Toyotas and I will return there for service and to buy a cars in the future. It was the first dealership when I arrived that didn't run out looking for a sale. They let my sister and I look around. When I was ready, I went and inside and asked for a saleperson. Steve was very nice, friendly and accommodating. I took the rav4 for a drive and loved it but I wasn't ready for the paperwork. I asked to see them the next day and wasn't pushed into anything. He introduced us to the manager and walked us out.I came in the next day and made the deal that I wanted and bought my car. Brian was worked real hard to get what I wanted. Being a negotiator by trade, I had already done my homework on Kelly Blue Book and Edmunds.com. but I still felt I needed to check out the price with another dealer. I headed over to BOCH Toyota in MA (they boasted being the No. 1 dealer in sales) to see if I could get better pricing. That was one of the worst mistakes I ever made. The sales manager was a bully in every sense of the word. The final price was lower but not by much, and did not include a remote started that Bristol offered. Boch was so insistent that I give them my credit card and accept their lower price. I told them I did not carry it with me and had to go home and think about it. They were not happy by this. I called Steve and told him about Boch's pricing. Steve told me about numerous complaints with Boch quoting one price only to find out the price was different (and higher) when they went to deal with Boch's finance department. Steve said to check out dealerrater.com and check both Boch's and Bristol's reviews. Thank God I did! I went back to Bristol Toyota and it was like a breath of fresh air. I am happy with the price I paid and the AWESOME service that I received from Steve and Brian. Kudos to the both of them! By the way, when I got home, Robert called from Boch's and I told him I didn't care for the bullying I received. He then offered me $1000.00 less than what he originally offered. I said, "No thanks". If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. READ the reviews..............

Jes was very friendly. He worked with us to put us in the best car that fit our needs. The dealer did not push us to purchase brand new and we ended up with a great car with only 12,000 miles. Only complaint is with Toyota financing. We have excellent credit and have purchased two other Toyota's in the past. The rates with Toyota Motor Credit were not good and we ended up using another lender. For repeat customers who have always paid on time we were disappointed that they could not work with us. But, overall, with Bristol Toyota we were very satisfied.

Bristol Toyota was the best car-buying experience we ever had. The staff was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. There were no high pressure tactics. No one "jumped" us as soon as we entered the lot. Negotiations on price were spirited, fair and entertaining. Bristol and we agreed on a price in the middle the next morning. We saw the car on Tuesday; paid for it on Wednesday; took delivery on Friday. They handled everything, including the vehicle registration, very professionally and in a timely manner. We had a very good telephone experience with Bristol Toyota last year when shopping for a car. I knew we would go back to them again, and the purchase experience this year was everything we could have wanted. We gave "only" a 4 rating for price because we cannot be absolutely sure Bristol has the lowest prices. But everything else about the dealership was exceptional. Therefore, any slight premium on price is worth the quality of care, value and service we received with the transaction.

I had an extremely pleasant experience with this family owned dealership. I live in Alexandria, VA and found this truck online in Bristol, RI. These kinds trucks are somewhat rare with all of the features it had, and was listed for $22,900 online. So I offered $22,000 out the door with all the fees, etc, they said "ok" and that was that. They held the truck for me for 2 days, I found cheap airfare for $90 from Baltimore to Providence, and Scott picked me up at 8:30am Saturday morning and brought me to the dealership. Couldn't have been more hassle free.

4/17/09In my view, shopping for a car at Christmas time, with five inches of snow on the ground and the wind chill around -10 degrees, ranks right up there with having your mother-in-law visit for six weeks, or undergoing a root canal without anaesthesia. So when my son and I visited Bristol Toyota Scion on Metacom Avenue in Bristol, RI, I was in full defensive mode, expecting a high-pressure salesman and the customary dealer hassle. I was mistaken.The salesman, Scott Medeiros, was cooperative, helpful, and very low-key. Despite my car-shopping anxieties, I really liked the guy. Although I owned a Bronco and intended to buy a RAV4, I was attracted to a very clean used Camry. My son convinced me that hauling my aching senior carcass into a RAV4 probably wasn't as good an idea as traveling in comfort and style in a Camry.He was right, and I bought the Camry. Scott never exerted the slightest pressure. After the deal was done a question about the alarm system came up, and Bob Dovner, the used car manager, came up with an excellent work-around. He stood by our deal 100 per cent. What a pleasant surprise!!Now, I do understand that the folks at Bristol Toyota are in business to make money, and that their idea of a good deal and my idea of a good deal are not exactly the same. So I suppose that Bristol Toyota would have preferred to sell that Camry at full list plus transportation and dealer prep charges, and I would have preferred to receive the car as a gift, with $500 in crisp new $20 bills on the front seat as a buyer bonus. They didn't give the store away, but they didn't clean out my checking account either. We did cut a fair deal, and I am well satisfied with the Camry and with Bristol Toyota. Scott Medeiros is a very good salesman, and he does what he does very well and with no pain to the buyer. Bob Dovner backed Scott and me all the way, and did the right thing when many dealers just would have shrugged it off and walked away.The Camry has been a joy from git-go, although it does go very fast with very little noise, and I have to watch that heavy right foot lest I attract the attention of the guys in white cars with flashing blue and red lights on top.So the bottom line is that I can honestly recommend Bristol Toyota Scion. My experience has been that they are good people to do business with.

I went to the dealership for three reasons; 1) an oil change, 2) purchase and have installed a roof rack on my 2009 Matrix and 3) to alert Toyota the 5-speed automatic transmission had problems going into fourth gear when the gas pedal was released, and the transmission would 'lurch' into coasting at about 5 mph as the car was slowing down. The oil change went as expected. The service manager asked my OK for waiting till his best installation mechanic was available to complete the roof rack installation. I agreed and the installation was done as well as an ace mechanic would do. I spoke with the service manager, the parts manager and the dealership owner about the transmission issues. After describing my experiences, the parts manager investigated any possible 'recall' bulletins on the transmission. AND, he found one that described my 'lurch' while slowing to a stop problem. The 'fix' was to replace the existing transmission software program with an updated program. The new software was installed. I was told the tranny has a learning curve as it learns my driving style. I look forward to 'teaching' the new software my driving style and using the very attractive new roof rack.I had difficulty updating the registration for the Matrix as Rhode Island wanted a 'power of attorney' form from Toyota before I could register the Matrix for 2010...it is a leased car. I have no idea whether this is a very unique Rhode Island thing, but Debra Lewis at Bristol Toyota called Toyota in California, and arranged to have a power of attorney form sent to me. What great service.My wife is already talking about leasing a new car from Bristol Toyota when her 2007 Corolla hits its third birthday.

AA came and jump start my car in my garage because there was no light or any sign of life in my 1994 Toyota Camry. I drove it directly to Bristol Toyota Scion. David Anderson took my car in right away and told me the problem was my passive alarm controls. After they fixed my alarm controls, they also check my battery. Turned out the batter was bad though it was installed only a month ago. They took the bad one out and installed a new battery for me. By the time I left Bristol Toyota, my car works beautifully. Bristol Toyota was able to fix my car within an hour or something like that,and by my favorite mechanics, Peter. I have been going to Bristol Toyota for routine service for my car since 1994 and they have always been good. This last time was a sudden emergency and they were able to take me in instantly. Where else and in what other professions that I could get such an excellent and speedy service.

We bought an Avalon-Limited as a retirement car and treat after open heart surgery. Steve compentently answered our questions, showed us respect throughout the process, and went the extra effort when the office counldn't find the title, when we asked to have a title change, and when we asked to borrow the owner's manuel while the office obtained the title. This a best kept secret in the East Bay that should not be a secret! I have had many preventative maint. services done here and have never had any issues. The service team is excellent at answering all questions and no estimate has ever been too low.My last purchase was in 2005, a Camry XLE 4-Cly. Steve Blakeley was the salesman and he is great at his job. Steve is very thorough and always answered my numerous questions. by far the best dealership experince i've had . i shopped online for a certified truck and contacted those dealerships closest to me . There were 5 within a 250 mile radius that had in stock the tacoma truck i was interested in . the only one to follow up on my inquires expeditously was Bristol Toyota . within a short amount of time after my first call i had put a deposit on a truck , received an email confirmation , then a call to make sure i had received the email . following that a map to the dealership via email since i was coming from New York .to top it all off i personally visited my local dealer and gave him all the information and still to this day have not received a follow up call concerning my. thank you bristol toyota for the positive experience ,looking forward to my next purchase with you . keep up the great work on site and especially the internet . she was the one that got me there .

I have been a loyal TOYOTA customer for 25 years, 18years with Bristol Toyota. The most important thing I can say is CUSTOMER SERVICE. Dave Anderson and his staff are the essence of customer service. You hear horror stories about bringing your vehicle to "the dealer" for service, ie get what you don't need, over pricing, just another customer etc. that is so not true about Bristol Toyota. I have always been treated like my car was the only one there to be serviced. If I have a question about what they did, it is explained to me in language I can understand ( not that I am an idiot, or "a women"). My houshold has purchased 5 cars in the last 9 years from Bristol, and had service on all of them, plus my older Toyotas that we not bought there. I printed out a coupon. Then I spoke to the internet manager, Barbara Avezedo and set up an appointment with Julian. I have dealt with Steve Blakelee for my last two cars and wanted to work with him again. Unfortunately he was out because of a work-related injury but when I contacted him, he agreed to come in and meet me despite his injury. He gave the staff permission to give me his cell phone and home phone and we set up a time to meet that was convenient to me. I would never deal with any other dealership or salesperson. We had visited all the local Toyota dealerships to lease a new Camry (we had a 4 Runner whose lease was expiring). Bristol turned out to be the best, not only in terms of price, but in terms of the quality of their presentation as well. Jesse, our salesman, was great....no high pressure and he knew the product and services extremely well. We also met Brian, the Finance Manager, and had a similar experience with him. Having leased two vehicles at a time for the past 20 years, we've had the occasion to go through this process quite a few times. Some turned out to be good experiences, some were not so good. I have been a loyal customer of Bristol Toyota since 1995 when I purchased my first Corolla. I had 319,000 miles on my Corolla and it was time to purchase a used/new vehicle. I went to Bristol Toyota to purchase a "used" Corolla that I checked out on their website. I called them that day and made an appointment to see Jesse/Sales that night. He was able to get me into a "new" Corolla (6 miles) that was close to the price of the "used" (8,000 miles) that I was looking at. I purchased the vehicle that night and delivery was the following night after work. When I got the car home that night, I noticed there was a minor dent in the hood. I called the Sales Mgr immediately and he advised me to bring the vehicle in the following day so they could look at it. They inspected the damage and made an appointment for me to bring the car in to have their "dent specialist" remove the dent. To my amazement, it was removed and you CANNOT tell that the dent was ever there. I'm totally happy with the service/support that I have received from the Sales Dept. and I already know and expect the same service/support from their Repair Dept. for years to come.

After shopping at over 15 different dealerships in the course of a two week period I definitely have to say that the service at this one was the best. When I walked on the lot I was immediately greeted by Julian Schwartz. He took down all of the features that I really wanted in a car and managed to find one that matched them all...which is pretty tough considering I had a lot of specifications and a small budget. Unfortunately there was only one car that matched everything I wanted (2006 Camry XLE) but Julian let me know upfront that the car was priced a little higher than I wanted to go, unlike other dealers where they wouldn't even tell me the price until after I drove it and fell in love just to find out later it's well over my budget. I decided to check it out anyway and he was so thorough and knowledgable about the whole thing. At most of the other dealerships the salesmen didn't even know the miles per gallon on the cars they were showing me. I ended up leaving because the price was a bit too high for me but Julian did tell me he'd keep an eye out just in case something came their way that I'd like. The next day I basically spent entirely looking for a car that I liked better than the Camry...and by the end of the day I was just looking for that car specifically but at a better price. Well I came to find out that after looking on foot that there was no other Camry like it in RI....and none in a 40 mile radius according to my internet searches. So I went back and bought the car and they considered my budget constraints and were willing to work with me. I got $$ off the sale price and I ended up getting the car for almost $4000 less than its Blue Book value. The experience was very pleasant. Julian was so courteous and patient that I'd totally go back there when decide to get another car and I've already told everyone I know to go there if they're shopping!

I recently purchased a 2009 Prius from Bristol Toyota. My overall experience with Bristol Toyota couldn't be better. Salesman Jesse Szumita was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Jesse not only knew the product but took the time to explain and show Toyota's quality and how everything on the Prius works. Jesse also explained the services that Bristol's Customer Service Dept. offer. I enjoyed my experience because there were no haggling over price, Jessegave me Bristol's bottom line price and the sale was made.I am now enjoying my new Prius and have told everyone that I know of what a great experience buying from Bristol was and would recommend them to anyone.Thank you Bristol Toyota, Thank You Jesse Suzmita!Mike Bernacchio

I have rated Bristol Toyota and my salesman Scott Mederios extremely high for the following reasons. I walked on the lot looking at used vehicles and received immediate customer service by Scott Mederios. He was friendly and attentive. I explained that I needed a used car and had a fixed budget he was willing to work with me and immediatly start showing me used cars that were within my buget means. After test driving a few vehicles their was nothing on the lot that suited my interests. Scott then worked with Bob Dovaner his used car manager and within 3 days I had the perfect vehicle within my budget needs. This dealership from my salesman to the managers went out of their way to satisfy me and met all of my needs. I am extremley happy with the vehicle purchased and the quality of the customer service that I received.

The salesperson, Steve Axtell, was very accomodating. We needed to purchase a car right away. He made it possible for us to drive the car home that day. We were able to get the inspection done while we waited and they did all the paperwork and registration for us. The dealership also addressed our concern for a mechanical problem by having an alignment done at no charge. Great purchase experience. So far, the car is great.

Working with Barbara by email and in person was straightforward and pleasant. She gave us all the information we requested and offered more besides. She even provided a detailed answer to an email at 10:30 at night! The transaction itself was smooth, and the staff was friendly and helpful. No pressure tactics, just a good deal and people who treat you like a rational adult.

We recommend Bristol Toyota. It took us 7 mos. to finally buy our car. Other places weren't helpful when we told them that. Many salespeople were turned off by us wanting to wait. It seemed everyone became busy when we told them that. I couldn't understand why they would talk to us like they wanted to sell us a car. But when we said we were waiting they suddenly had someone waiting for them or another lie just to get away. Joe at Bristol Toyota was okay with the fact that we wanted to wait. He showed us 2 different model Camrys. After that 1st time in, he called, sent letters,christmas cards. he stayed intouch. When the time came to buy, he was the only one we remembered. The others we met we very nice, his manager, Anna who did our paperwork. Joe had us meet the people in the service area. We are very happy with Bristol Toyota. Thank you Joe, you a without a doubt the best. thanks ron

Customer ServiceGave a rating of 4/5 because of the expedient and professional interface with the Service Mgr. and Dealership Mgr. although I was not impressed with having to feel to "negotiate" a price for the extended warranty. Quality of WorkThe vehicle had just gone through a 160 point inspection, yet, a "clip" was found missing on the right front bumper panel (panel was raised slightly (e.g. 1/4" or less)). Clip was subsequently ordered and replaced within a few days.FriendlinessOur sales representative, Julian Schwartz, was geniunely friendly without being overbearing. Julian was very courteous before, during and after the sale of the vehicle. His "follow up" to make sure everything was in order was very much appreciated. Overall ExperienceThe sales representative (Julian Schwartz)made buying the car at Bristol Toyota a good experience. Above all, my wife and I appreciated his advocacy in all stages of the purchase. The service (manager), Dave, was very accomodating in taking care of the "clip" problem. He did so in a timely manner and took the time to answer another question.PriceInitially I thought the price was somewhat higher than other like units at competitive dealers. After a discussion with our sales rep. and a review of some comparative data (Toyota Certified like vehicles) I concluded the price was "fair."

I have put off buying a new vehicle for a long time because I did not believe I could trust a car dealer. But at Bristol Toyota I found a dealer I could trust, and I bought my new van. My experience at Bristol Toyota was positive from start to finish. Barbara Azevedo, the internet manager who walked me through the process from start to finish, was knowledgeable and PATIENT with my need to take my time making a decision. I was allowed to explore options without pressure, I was provided with information and choices, and I got a great deal. She is a consumate professional who matched my list of "wants" with a vehicle that is perfect for me. And I found my meeting with Ana Teves to finalize the financial details of the sale was both easy and informative. I recommend Bristol Toyota without reservation.

I highly recommend everyone who is interested in purchasing a vehicle to make their first stop, Bristol Toyota! There you will find the most courteous, highly efficient and knowledgable staff. I loved the relaxed atmosphere from my first contact by internet representative, Barbara to Steven our salesperson and Brian our sales manager and to finish with Ana Teves the Finance Rep. What a complete turn-around from our previous visit with Boch Toyota, which was a complete nightmare.My husband and I decided to visit Boch Toyota to just get some comparison figures. We never experienced so much double talk and confusing tactics in all the years of purchasing cars. With Bristol Toyota the staff worked the figures to a monthly payment that we could afford (especially when you are on a fixed income!) Plus, we were able to purchase a Toyota Extended Warranty,which Boch was not selling us. When we picked-up our new Camry, salesman Steven went thoroughly thru the entire vehicle for us, and even set the radio stations that we wished along with other stations that Steven was familiar with for our type of music. A follow-up call from Steven was made the following day to us just to check in and make sure we didn't have any questions or problems.

We live about 30 min away from Bristol. We went to 4 toyota dealers in RI and Mass. Bristol was unlike many of the other dealer's. My salesperson Joe Demelo was the sole reason we bought there. Other salespeople we dealt with were high pressure,didn't know much about the vehicle options. He even took the time to show me everything about my car. We took a test-drive, Joe wanted to make sure I was comfortable with the seating...visability...and most of all if I liked the car. Once I picked out what I prefered, he had my trade-in evaluated. We agreed to the value of the trade. I am now driving the nicest car I have ever owned. What shocked me was this, The first time I met Joe we told him we were going to Boch Toyota in Attleboro and Colonial Toyota. My husband asked him what he thought of those larger dealer's. Not ever working for those dealership's Joe said, I am sure they are okay but I will let you make your own choice of where to purchase. Boy, was that an understatement...after dealing with very inexperienced salespeople, arrogant sales managers, we were turned off. We immeadiately called Joe at Bristol Toyota and placed an order. Joe thought my story was funny, I asked him why, he stated he new all along that he would be safe letting us test the water's at other dealership's and that would be my conclusion. He was right!!! We felt like we have known him forever, he made us laugh as he was doing his job. He was the most informative,caring,and happiest guy we have met quite sometime. I feel he is part of the reason that Bristol Toyota has won all those awards he told us about. Bristol Toyota is OUR place and Joe is our MAN.
