The salesperson who worked with me, Long Huynh, was a nice, laid back guy. I'm from Portland and don't know the area where the dealership is in Longview, but Long guided us on a perfect route for a test drive, with a mix of freeway, hills, and side streets to get a good idea of what the car can do. He answered questions helpfully. I didn't feel like he tried to give us a hard sell. To be fair, he was persistent about buying an extended warranty that I didn't want, and the sales manager was more so, but they remained courteous and stopped short of being insistent. They let me take the car with an opportunity of returning it if it didn't pass a pre-purchase exam with my mechanic in Portland the next day--It easily did pass--which is very fair. I got a good deal on the car and wouldn't mind dealing with them again.

I stopped in on a Sunday to take a look at a used Saturn I had seen on line, and left with it later that afternoon. David the salesman was really friendly and I trusted that he would make sure I wasn't getting sold into something that wouldn't be right for my kids and I. I made the trip from Vancouver and would do it again in a heart beat and will make sure to take my vehicle there for servicing as well. I got an amazing deal on the car incredible low miles and priced just right.

We could have gotten just anyone to help us in choosing a suitable and realistic car but instead we got long huynh. Long made us so comfortable by knowing exactly what he was talking about. The Hyundai sonata interested in long had an answer for every question. In fact he was giving us our answers before we even asked the questions because he knew everything there was to know about the vehichle. He told us things he didn't have to giving a sense of assurance. As a first time car owner it is important to know this was a safe and reliable car for several yrs to come.i am the mother and knowing that my daughter is getting into a vehichle that is safe and that she is not getting ripped off for the price paid is important. I have bought cars here before and will gladly recommend anyone to come and see long.I believe he would be honest and if I can trust him with my daughter's well being that is in itself saying more than any words could express. My wife and I had a great experience here, they stayed over two hours after closing to make sure we were all set with our purchase. The staff was very friendly and willing to go the extra mile! Long met us in the parking lot half an hour before closing time and showed us the vehicle we were interested in, then we decided to test drive and purchase. I went in with an intention of just looking for a new car. Jesse had me test drive a Chevy Cruze and I fell in love. He worked with me and made sure my needs were met. He is very much a selfless salesman. As I didn't have the intention of leaving the lot with a new car, my current car had a ton of belongings in it. While I was in financing he took it upon himself to help me out and transfer all my belongings into my new car!!! I can't even put into words how awesome he is as well as the rest of the Clary team. I had been looking for a truck for the last 3 months, and Dustin Stout at Budclarys was my first contact person. Dustin gave me a new lead that i never thought of and that was looking online. I have not bought a new truck since the 90s and my last truck i bought was a private sale so online never came to mind since I am a one on one person. after looking for three months all over the county I would always check online at Budclarys ( no other dealer mentioned this to me ) , and or return back to their car lot and asked for Dustin. One day I found a truck that had not even made it to the detail or safety shop yet. after one look and a test drive the following day and after it was checked out the next day I bought it. during my visit i was given a walk through of the dealership that had some remodeling done to it this year, after i was done with signing the paperwork for my truck i was turned back over to Dustin and Brad Ramey, they handed me my keys and told me that my truck was delivered to my home and parked in my driveway. We just purchased a new Tahoe from Brad at Bud Clary Chevrolet. Our family purchases a new car every one to two years, so we are very familiar with the new car buying experience. When we stopped by the dealership for the first time we expected the same old games we usually get at most dealerships ( unknowledegeble and pushy sales team with the usual turnover when things didn't go their way) but things went refreshingly different. On our first visit to Bud Clary we were interested in the new hard to find 2015 Tahoe and Suburban. Brad was very patient with us and worked very hard to find the vehicle with the specific packages we wanted. Brad did a great job and located us the exact Tahoe we were looking for. Brad had to pull quite a few things together to make the dealer trade a success and could have easly tried to jack up the price on a vehicle that just came out. Brad gave us a great deal on the vehicle and saved us a lot of money. Other dealers wanted full MSRP or more for the new body style, Bud Clary Chevrolet came in below. Brad also worked very hard to make sure the vehicle was customized to our personal needs and desires, he got our windows tinted and arranged the aftermarket wheel and tire upgrades too! True customer service. This was an unexpected and fun experience to say the least, it was so good that I wish I needed to buy another new car now so I can continue my day to day contact with Brad. When we first went to Bud Clary Chevrolet we met Ryan Allen in the sales lot. We made it clear to Ryan that we were not ready to buy and we were just looking. That did not deter Ryan in any way. He showed us several vehicles and was very knowledgeable about all of the trucks we looked at. We did not take a test drive at that time. We continued to look at other dealerships and soon found we were getting several calls from them with questions we did not want to answer. Some of them were downright pushy.We went back to Bud Clary again and started looking at specific trucks. Ryan Allen was again very helpful and he was able to answer all of our questions on the spot. Other sales people we had encountered were not as knowledgeable. We test drove two trucks and left again. We continued to get pesky calls from other dealerships but not from Ryan. We found that we had the best sales experience at Bud Clary Chevrolet and with Ryan Allen. We finally narrowed the field down to the Chevrolet 3500 HD 4X4 and the Dodge truck of the same size. We found both trucks to be pretty close to equal in driving but the Chevrolet has a better warranty and the Duramax 6.6 L Diesel with the Allison six speed transmission was far stronger than the Dodge. Plus Ryan Allen was much more helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous. We found the right truck but wanted it in red. Ryan found three trucks in other Chevrolet dealerships that met our wants and needs and had the one we chose bought in within just a few days.We strongly recommend Bud Clary Chevrolet and their salesman Ryan Allen for your next truck buying experience. I need to tip my hat to Bud Clarys auto repair and service department. I recently discovered that my 2005 Subaru was weeping fluids and was in need of a head gasket replacement, a repair that was going to cost in excess of $2000. Fortunately for me, the general manager was willing to negotiate with the Subaru Corporation of America and my vehicle was fixed on warranty. I appreciate the above and beyond assistance I am always given by Clarys staff. On every scheduled oil change I am treated like a valued customer -- given tire rotation, a multi-point inspection, a shuttle around town and a car wash all for free. Some repair shops claim they treat their customers like family. From my experience, Clarys does it. George Dennis

We have now purchased 7 vehicles from Bud Clary over the last 20 yrs. The sales person we used to deal with had left so buying my 2013 Camaro was my 1st time dealing with Ryan. He knows the products well and has a great personality. I truly enjoyed dealing with him and hope he is still there the next time we buy a vehicle. I feel I got a fair price on my trade in and the paperwork end of everything went very smooth with Martin. Ryan spent a lot of time educating me on my new car. He has called to see how everything is going since we purchased the Camaro. I'm having a blast driving it. I haven't had as much fun with a car since the 70's. I have referred many people to him when they are ready to make a purchase. We also purchased a nice used car for our grandson from Ryan 6 days after buying the Camaro so obviously we are very pleased with both Ryan and the dealership. We always have all our service performed at Bud Clary because their service dept is also top notch. I guess I just can't say enough about how pleased we are to have Bud Clary in our town.

Working with Kari through email and text made the entire process extremely simple so that once we arrived, it was as simple as test driving the car and signing the paperwork. I located a car online that I had been trying to find. I was stunned to find the car with so few miles, and certified as I had hoped. Since I am a professional buyer and negotiator, I compared it to every other one like it in the country that was for sale. EVERY OTHER ONE had much higher miles, and was definitely not in as good shape. I was also able to tell that the price they were asking made me not feel that I should even try to chisel the price down at all. Additionally, I had a price in mind that I wanted to receive on my trade, which they exceeded (also nothing to chisel), and I had checked the price of the items I wanted to have retrofitted as well as the items that my car (trade-in) needed to have repaired. They were ALL in line with what I expected. In addition to being priced fairly, the buying experience was very pleasant and everyone was very helpful. Truly a pleasure doing business. They exceeded my every expectation! I should mention that I had to drive over two hours to get there to get this car, and I would do it again!Thanks all at Bud Clary!

Previously bought new truck from this dealer in past 2 years with good result. This time in market for different type of vehicle, we encountered a salesman that was so unprofessional we will not only never purchase a vehicle here, but will never recommend this dealer. Salesman was rude, arrogant and seemingly was too busy to talk with us. Never actually got to find out what the dealer would give us for our trade in because the salesman was so rude he literally shook our hand and walked off leaving us standing in their showroom. After talking with friends, they have encountered same attitude. So, the next day we traded for new vehicle in Vancouver.

This is my second vehicle purchase from Bud Clary's. I was extremely pleased with my first purchase, which is why I insisted on buying again from them. Josh was great at helping me find what I wanted and in making sure that I was happy with my rig, before selling it to me. I worked with both Josh and Patrick this time and it was a great experience. They both knew what I was looking for and that I wasn't really interested in much else. As soon as they took my desired car in on trade, they both contacted me. Everything from start to finish was great, and there were many employees that were just incredible to be around. I had contacted other dealerships locally and even test drove their cars, and never heard another word from them. Bud Clary's has great customer service that is just really unheard of these days.

I needed someone to help me. I'm a widow of two months, and I had three used cars to get rid of. Chris was very friendly and sympathetic. He told me that he could help me find something that was more economical to run, and getting rid of the other vehicleswould bring my insurance down. He was right! So far I am very happy with my new Subaru. This buying process was the smoothest and easiest we have been through in over twenty years. The price we spoke of on the phone was honored, reasonable trade value given, and NO high pressure to buy any "add-ons"! We dealt with Josh on the phone, and Ryan the day we arrived to get the car--both were attentive, honest, and thorough. We would highly recommend this dealership.

I usually dread going to a car dealership. This time I was referred to Chris Bjorkman. He was FANTASTIC! I have nothing but good things to say about him. He was helpful, patient and efficient. I bought the car I wanted at the price I was happy with and it was a fast and pleasant experience. I will definitely be going to him with any future needs. My fiancee and I recently visited Bud Clary to make our first ever new car purchase. We were treated well from our first inquiry all the way through purchase and into any issues we've had setting everything up and getting used to the car.The staff at Bud Clary couldn't have made it easier and treated us so well to work us through the trade-in of our old car and the financing of the new car. We worked with them to find the car we wanted (which only took a few days) and then they had everything ready for us when we arrived including a window tint and everything ready to drive it off the lot.For first time buyers and young buyers, they couldn't have made the experience any easier. And then you get to price. They gave us a great price, sought out some discounts for us, and found us very affordable financing. Finally, the low overhead nature of their business, the low tax rate in Cowlitz County, and the personal touch they put on the experience made it very worthwhile.I would definitely recommend them to all my friends and family!

we dealt with this dealership over the internet, and was given a rock bottom price from the statr. no gimmicks or negotiations. we came down on the train to pick up our new car and were met there at the station by our salesman josh. very pleasant and attentive. a very great place to do business with. our local dealership would not return calls or deal a bit.

Chris was very helpful in finding the car we were looking for. We did extensive reserch and had offers from several other dealerships. Chris and the whole Bud Clary staff was friendly and down to earth not pushy at all. It was a awesome car buying experience. I highly recommend any one to take the drive down to longview and buy a car from them. Plus I got the best price for my new Subaru outback probably in the entire state. I am so happy with my new car . i had never bought a new car had heard all the talk about pushy sales people ,where not to go , how to handle the pressure and so on. Well I waked on to Bud Clary in Longview Washington and well drove home home the first car I seen. WOW Ryan Allen was the dealer I met he was amazing ! He made sure that the car was exactly what I was looking for and told me the numbers would fall into place and they did . He took the extra time with my husband and I am I feel pretty comfortable that I know every thing my car can do from the on star to adjusting the seat belt to fit my short size. This is the second vehical purchased from Scott and I have found him ot be very helpful and through. He obviously knows a great deal about the products he sells as demonstrated by complete and detailed anwers to my many questions. Scott is in the Subaru dealership but I seek him out no matter the brand I am looking at purchasing. He is a credit to Bud Clary!
