This is our second time leasing with Buerkle Hyundai. Brian is wonderful to work with and has always been pleasant and courteous. We intentionally drove out to this dealership (despite moving far from the dealership several years ago) because everyone, especially Brian, is great to work with and friendly. The customer service and knowledge at this dealership is better than any we have been to. Thanks for a great experience and we will probably be back in 3 years.

Working with Brian was a very enjoyable experience. At no time did I feel pressured by him and he was extremely sensitive to my needs in the vehicles I looked at. He found me the perfect car under my budget and he demonstrated every single feature in the car. Toulong also respected my expectations with financing for the car and was clear and honest with his approach. This also was a very pleasant experience! While meeting with me, he took other client phone calls. I get stressed making a decision as big as purchasing a car, so I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere at Buerkle Hyundai. I had spent most of the day dealing with high pressure, pushy sales people at other dealerships (along the Hwy 61 dealership row) and was braced for the same when I walked it. I was greeted in a friendly manner without feeling pressured. I truly appreciate this!! After test driving the car I ended up purchasing, I again felt like I could make a good decision about my purchase without a salesperson hovering over me. After I agreed to the purchase, things moved quickly and professionally and I was very satisfied with the process. The Buerkle staff greeted me as soon as I entered the door and I was speaking to a sales representative within my first couple of minutes in the dealership. I already had an idea of what I wanted and Bob helped me to make a quick, but informed decision. After a test drive, Bob and I reviewed the quick reference manual and the features included in my particular package. I was very well informed of what my lease entailed (though I cannot remember the name of the gentleman who helped me with that, for which I am sorry) and I had no qualms signing the paperwork. At no time did I doubt that I was in good hands with Bob and the rest of the Buerkle staff. My family and I have been loyal Buerkle Hyundai customers for many years and this visit simply reinforced why we keep coming back.

Exploring car options with Brian Armstrong is more like sitting down with a knowledgeable friend than a car salesman: at no point did I feel pressured to buy, upgrade, or even stay at the dealership. This is especially incredible when comparing the experience back to back with other local dealerships, where you can easily feel like a small fish in a shark tank. He was also sensitive to my schedule each time I met with him, and was able to pace various presentations and demonstrations to meet my needs. I'd highly recommend speaking with Brian.

The dealer had a lot of inventory to help me get the best car for me. I got great service. Steve took me around the parking lot on a golf cart to look through all the inventory. He gave me a solid price and I feel he was fair with me. I appreciate that while I was making a decision, he gave me some space to make the decision and I did not feel pressured. Once we came to an agreement. The rest of the staff made me feel very welcomed and help explain all the details along the way for the process of purchasing, trading in and paying for the car. I really appreciated the full tank of gas and the freshly polished car. It really sparkled. That sure made my first experience with my new car start on a great note.

I bought a 2015 Genesis in June 2016. The buying process was easy and hassle free. The finance process went smoothly as well. Since then.... "crickets". Haven't heard a word from them. Every other car I have purchased I have received a note of thanks from the salesperson and a letter or email from the service center wanting my business. Nothing from anyone at Buerkle. I even received an email from a competing dealership service center wanting to service my Genesis. Guess I will be going there for service. They have more convenient hours anyway. I tried to schedule my first oil change with Buerkle, but was told the first appointment on any day was not until 7:40 AM, and the latest was 3:40 PM.... OR I could wait a couple weeks and come in on a Saturday. Thanks, but no thanks.

I had a very enjoyable experience with Craig Ulven. First we talked on the phone because I was some distance away. He was willing to talk about my trade-in so that I felt comfortable in driving the distance to the dealership. The 2012 Azera had just come in off a lease so they hadn't had time to clean it up but they took care of that in record time. With new tires, brakes and battery along with the many points they check I am now driving a Hyundai certified used car. It was an enjoyable drive back to South Dakota as well as a couple of days driving since then. Thank you Craig and Beurkle Hyundai.

Always dreaded going to a dealership when looking for a new vehicle due to the preconceived notions that dealers were pushy. However, this was not the case here. There wasn't the usual up-sell or increased badgering of "supposed" deals that needed my attention. Everyone was friendly and only came to my need right when I needed it. The tech (unfortunately I cannot recall his name) who showed me the Bluetooth hook up and new features of the car was very patient and accommodating. Everyone answered all the questions I had and ultimately I left a happy customer who will definitely recommend their services to others looking for a new vehicle. If a brand is good, I stay loyal to them to very end. Hyundai hasn't failed me before and I look forward to continue working with this dealership in the future.

Thankfully, the Beurkle salesperson and every other staff person I met that day put me at ease and I felt I got a pretty spectacular car for the right amount of money. They also are very family friendly as this was a family outing for us. Salesman Nick Hellem was very helpful with excellent follow up. I also appreciated that after I said what I was looking for that I was told I should wait for the 2016 Tucson which would offer what I wanted. It was certainly worth the wait! I was looking to downsize (from a Buick Rainier - purchased at Buerkle) but didn't want to downgrade, and in fact what I have is an upgrade in addition to the smaller size. I couldn't be happier. I had my first Hyundai Sante Fe for 14 years - quite a testament since I've never kept a vehicle more than 3-4 years! It was purchased from White Bear Lake Superstore before Hyundai changed their dealerships to stand alone, moving it to Buerkle. WBL was a GREAT dealer; my first couple service experiences here were not so great, hence the 4-star Quality of Work and why I went elsewhere for service. When I recently wanted a new Santa Fe, I dreaded the sales experience but Kyle Heiser completely flipped that experience for me. He had the unique ability for a salesperson to actually listen and hear what I specifically wanted, was quickly and professionally responsive to my follow up questions and requests and never tried to upsell me. He was the consummate professional, not what I've experienced in the past with car sales. Having once raced cars, I know something about 'under the hood' and I walk out when the salesperson assumes since a single woman shopping for a vehicle, she is mechanically and financially illiterate (nice word for stupid)! Clearly Kyle did not do that and was a treasure to work with. I also met his father who was actually the Hyundai Service Manager at WBL Superstore when they were a Hyundai dealer so I was pleased to 1) tell him I was impressed with his son and 2) discuss my expectations of great service when I need it going forward. They gave me a fair trade in and a fair deal all around, making sure my needs were met. What more could one expect? They completely took the pressure and the stress out of the process. I highly recommend Buerkle Hyundai for the purchase of a vehicle.

We were informed on the basics of the vehicle class we were interested in, along with the competitors, before we first stopped in. Although the Hyundai was not at the top of the list going in, we were pleased with our first drive and the salesman's approach to educating us on the options available within the Hyundai line for our needs/wishes. The Hyundai ended up the best option and value for our needs.

Vehicle was purchased through the Costco Auto Buying service and your representative, Brian Armstrong represented your dealership well for Costco. I got confused with some of the numbers shown to us but Brian was very patient and was able to help clarify the numbers (i.e., the final cost of the vehicle) He also worked very hard to secure a strap for the rear hatchback door. Before the strap was put in, my wife, the primary driver of the vehicle was not able to reach and close the hatchback. (Small detail but it could have been a deal breaker.)

We went to have oil changed on the 2010 car. Bryan said we need new tires and we said ok. They put new tires on the car, we had been looking at the 2015 cars and we liked the new Santa Fe Sport and Kyle Heiser asked if we needed help. He told us about the 2015 Santa Fe so we told him we just put new tires on the 2010 SANTA FE and he said they would give us credit for the new tires, so we now have a new 2015 SANTA FE.

I would definitely NOT recommend this dealership to any one of you out there, who is looking to buy a used car. Trust me, you will need to be very careful who you deal with at this place, people are shady and like to hide things from you. All they want to do is just sell the car, and make money, rather than looking for people's safety who will be driving that car. I purchased 2007 Sonata from them, very clean looking. This was the third car i was bought from this place, but had worst experience ever. Problems that car had, i have brought those up with the Sales man, and as always he promised me to get those things fixed on their own expense, but never took care of it. Sales man stopped returning my phone calls, i had to stop by at place so many times to get hold of him, all he does apologize then keep doing same crap again. I was tired of him, and not wanted to deal with him at that point. Recently, during an oil change appointment mechanic tells me that there is this problem with the car, and this much is the estimate. I was in shock to see that response, that i have been complaining about that problem since day 1 i took the car, and was promised to get that car fixed, but no one listened to me. This company did not tell me a word that there is an accident on the car at the time of purchase, my insurance company found that out, and told me that. That just completely broke the trust on this dealership. They sold me a car with accident, without even bringing that up to me at the time of purchase. I would have understand, if i had bought this car from private person, not from dealer. But this crossed the limits. I have reached out to CEO of this company, who also did not do anything. That totally brings me to the point of not going with Hyundai anymore. So whoever is looking to shop Hyundai, please think million times before you take it. Go buy Honda or Toyota your money will me worth it. I am never coming back to this place, and will never recommend anyone else. Please take my word and trust me, this place will rip you off.

We came to buy a Hyundia after our 2 year Hyundia was totalled by an inattentive driver who was REACHING for her cell phone and rear ended our car (that only had 7,700 miles) which was stopped behind a school bus. Craig is an exceptional salesman. I contacted him regarding a used vehicle I was interested in and we thought we had a winner. We negotiated a price and I expressed concern about one aspect of the car, he got the service guys to fix it on the spot! But as it turned out, the car just was not the one. At this point, Craig could have become bitter or upset and shown us the door (middle of winter, getting late, almost wouldn't blame him...). INSTEAD, Craig thanked us for coming in and expressing an interest in finding the vehicle we wanted. So the dialogue continued...we test drove 4 cars and ended up purchasing a gorgeous used Honda that we are very excited about. The next day when we came to pick up the vehicle, Craig even filled my mother's tires for her car! hats off to a top flight dealership and especially Craig.

I recently bought a new 2013 Hyundai Accent GS from Buerkle Hyundai. The overall buying process was a positive experience. So much so, that I've told others about my buying experience. Unfortunately, Buerkle stops caring about you as a customer as soon as you drive off the lot. I've never had such a poor experience in a Service Department. I decided to have your service department detail my carpet floor mats after purchasing all weather mats from your parts department. ...After 3 visits to your Service Department, 132 miles logged and several follow-up phone calls, I now have acceptable (but not perfect) floor mats that should have been 100% taken care of on my first visit. Logan Keyes (Service Advisor) could use some follow-up coaching in customer service. Perhaps he should take the time to listen to a customer's concerns rather than making assumptions and becoming argumentative. Throughout the transaction, I asked for the service manager to call me on two separate occasions and have yet to receive any type of follow-up. Rather than address my concern, Duane Lundgren (Sales Manager) suggested that I use a black permanent market to color over salt stains on my mat rather than remove them. What a genius idea? Not!Rather than work to save our relationship, I was told that Buerkle would have to let go of me as a customer. My advice to all of those in the market for a Hyundai, Honda or Acura, buy at Luther, Walser, or Morrie's. Buy anywhere but Buerkle, you'll be glad you did.

We had stopped in a couple of days before and started with another salesman who was out when we returned and we were given Mike to deal with who we could tell right away had little interest in us (splitting the deal didn't sit well with him?). He let us test drive the vehicle no problem but when we sat down to discuss price he wouldn't do any better than list less rebate. I showed him internet pricing from another Hyundai store in BP for a couple of thousand less and he became agitated and said "no one qualifies for that pricing" and that he knew how they operated since he previously worked there. Well, we got up and left with him telling us that he would help us when we returned.Sorry Mike, but they weren't lying like you claimed and it turned out to be a smooth, no-hassle buying experience and we are driving our new Hyundai Elantra today and loving it. My husband and I purchased a new 2013 Hyundai Sonata today from Buerkle Hyundai. We were completely amazed by the excellent customer service we encountered at this dealership. Brian Armstrong was our salesman, he spent several hours with us on Friday showing us a variety of different trim packages on the Sonatas. He never made us feel rushed...even on a Friday afternoon, he wasn't "pushy" like some salesman, he was knowledgable, answered all of our questions and had an impressive amount of patience with us. When we came in today to pick up the car...he was so kind to teach us about all of the new "gadgets" and options inside my "fancy" new car. I have never been so impressed with a salesman before. Stopped by the dealership twice last Tuesday. I was initially interested in a 2013 Honda Civic and decided to stop by the Hyundai dealership to look at the Elantra before test driving the Civic. I walked around the lobby for 1/2 hour and was never approached. I sat in the Elantra on the showroom floor for 5 minutes, still nobody. I walked outside and look at them on the lot. Plenty of sales reps, but couldn't get their attention. I went next store and test drove the Civic. On my way out I stopped again at Hyundai. Same results. On Thursday I drove to the Walser dealership in Brooklyn Park and after a test drive, promptly purchased a 2013 Elantra Limited with the navigational system. Thumbs down to Buerkle.

Started off interesting...I was an interested buyer but the first person to approach us was someone who seemed more interested in knowing if I wanted to buy used vs new. I was open to both but apparently the person who sold "New" couldn't help me. I thought that was odd, I needed a special person who could work with "New" and "Used". To me, I shouldn't have to worry about that but then came Matt Snaza and now I think...lucky me! He took the time to listen to me and clearly understand what I wanted. A great deal within a specific budget and car specs! The one car he pulled up thinking about my needs in the end was exactly what we ended up with! Talk about not wasting time! Even when I wanted to try "turbo" vs 2.4 more than once, he was patient. Mid point of the deal was also interesting. Matt and another gentleman took our MKX out to see about trade in value. My husband happend to go up to the window to get something before that left in the car and was taken a back by the person who was evaluating my SUV. This person was trying to make sure my husband knew our SUV did not have very many upgrades and would be worth about 10K before he did any research on it. I did research and so did two other dealerships and the range was 13,200-14,000 (we had paperwork from the other dealership). As they drove off we both said if he comes up with 10K we are out of here, they are trying to take us. Matt again came to the rescue! We trusted Matt so we told him what we were concerned about and made sure we got a fair trade in value. I think the person who evaluates the trade ins needs to be a little more aware of what he says and the way it may come across. Perception is reality for a customer.In the end, we got the car we wanted and the deal we felt was fair. This was not because it was the only car around (we had one on hold at your competitor). It was because of Matt! It is very important to have a team that listens, is resilient, adaptible and accountable. He never gave me a reason to shop anywhere else! Best Regards,Kathy

We have researched buying a new car for about a year and a half. We went to the Auto Show both last year and this year. About 1-1/2 months ago we stopped at Buerkle Hyundai and saw Brian Armstrong. We told him right away we were not ready to buy that night. He still took the time to explain about the Hyundai Elantra and its features and showed us cost comparisons. I came to Buerkle Hyundai following a recommendation to work with Brian. I came in knowing I wanted a silver Elantra. Brian was very patient as I look at all of the available Elantras on the lot that met my needs and wants. During the test drive Brian explained the features of the car to me and answered my questions. He was very knowledgable and patient after I told him I would like to test drive a different Elantra. After I selected the car I wanted, Brian worked with me on pricing until I was happy. He went over the car manuals in detail and tod me to call him if I had any questions after taking the car home. We finally had brought it in for service at Buerkle and while picking up the loaner we decided to check out the sales floor. Brian Armstrong approached us and asked if we had any questions, etc... Very low pressure, go with the flow, not pushy. He was more interested in our happiness with our choice of new vehicle. Well, long story short we bought a 2013 Hyundai Elantra that evening and we love it! They stayed open until everything was taken care of for us, no rushing, wanted to make sure ALL questions were answered and that most of all that we felt comfortable with our purchase. These guys are "used car salesmen" at best and Matt O'brien in finance and Randy Heiser are no exception. I met with the sales guy Steve Iverson and he showed me nothing about the car initially. He wasn't enthusiastic to help at all and didn't show us any features on the car. Even though doing research on Edmunds on what people are actually paying, they moved the price very little and it took me three days of haggling back and forth to get the price down even though they said they wouldn't move it initially. Like others have stated, the response time has been horrible. I would've kept the bad experience to finance alone if it weren't for the rude treatment I received after someone else gave me a better deal and I was verbally abused by Randy for not following through with a deal he thought was complete even though all the paperwork hadn't been signed. He was completely unprofessional. I was quoted one price and given another while the APR rate they provided was over double what another dealer provided. That is a freaking joke and they need a reality check when trying to rip people off. Finance wanted even more commission and Matt was a complete jerk off after I declined the options that he gave at the signing and kept pushing and pushing for more even though I already said "no." He was punching his keyboard harder because he was visually upset I didn't want it. Sleazy sales tactics of trying to "guilt" me into GAP insurance which I already have. Randy told me he "should make me keep the car/deal" and that "90% of the dealers would make me keep the deal" even though the paperwork hadn't been signed. He said that he wasn't going to do it though because he "didn't want that reputation on his name." But belittling a customer for taking a better deal is good for his reputation? Just plain untrue and lies. He couldn't make me keep the car without paperwork signed because the bank wouldn't approve it unless it was ALL signed. I did the research. He told me that they did all the work and should get the deal. I told him that it is part of your job in sales and he said it wasn't part of their job. LOL!!!! Apparently he is so good he must close on every customer that walks through the door after working with them. I gave them a down payment and they cashed it before the paperwork was complete so I had to do a Stop Payment on the check. Apparently they couldn't wait until 10am the next day before depositing it. He just plain thought I should take over double the interest rate because I said I wanted the car, but the deal wasn't done. I tried to be polite when I returned the car and explained, but he wasn't having it. Let this be a lesson to the sellers out there... quit with the sleaze ball stuff and give us a good deal off the bat and treat people with respect. We don't "OWE YOU" anything. Overall guys at Buerkle are lazy and I wouldn't step foot in there again because I now know they tell you they are giving you the best deal, but truly are not and that is old school tactics which people won't put up with anymore. These guys want the easy deal and will push you until they get what they want instead of what the customer wants.Lexus gave me $6600 off of the MSRP with little haggling and treated me with respect and kindness like they wanted me back someday. I will be back to them again and again.

Having owned a Hyundai Elantra years ago, we included Buerkle on our list of sites while shopping for a new vehicle. Met Brian while looking at the new Elantra, and after discussing our needs, he suggested the Sonata SE. We were delighted with his helpfulness and knowledge about features and financing. I stopped at a couple of other dealerships and no one approached me there, not even after I went into the showroom and looked around. I thought that was very weird. When I walked on to the Buerkle Hyundai lot, I was feeling apprehensive, anxious, overwhelmed and adrift. From the moment Scott Selden extended his hand and asked if there was anything he could help with I was sure I was at the right place and in the right hands. Scott was patient with my questions, thorough with his answers and he was very kind to me and my 6 year old son. I don't know how other sales people handle a young child during the sales experience but I can tell you that Scott handled my son respectfully, engaging him on several levels, and even playing with him while I was in the finance guy's office. Scott's warm and personable manner made both of us feel confident and welcome from the start to the conclusion. Scott has also checked in with us a few times since we drove away in our new car, demonstrating that he means it when he says relationship building is one of his favorite parts of this work. I feel like we hit the jackpot to have gotten Scott as a guide through this process.Randy (Sales) and Cal (finance) were both helpful, too.

When I shop for a vehicle replacement I start at least a year in advance and compare at least 5 makes and three to four models around the one I am considering. When I am approached by a sales person I always say "just looking". I HATE pushy sales people and will walk away from them every time even if they have the vehicle I really want. I came back to Buerkle Hyundai and it never failed, whether it was walking or driving on the lot, pulling in the drive or walking into the show room the first person I ran into was Brian. He was pleasant, courteous, friendly and helpful to the nth degree without showing any pressure but made sure that I was taken care of (VERY PROFESSIONAL). I had been to him at least six times on my current search before I said lets make a deal. Even to the end after the car was prepped and ready for delivery and I was changing my mind as to the color, his patience must have been tested but there was NO sight of impatience but just let me have the time or space I need to make the decision. Sales people have it tough because the reputation of GET THE SALE comes before the person and the sales person is not your friend. Clearly Brian has the Person (not just a customer) interest in mind. I could see Brian becoming a friend. I will refer Brian to anyone who is considering purchasing a vehicle.

I came to Buerkle Used Cars (at Buerkle Hyundai/Honda) while I was looking at other dealership lots in the area. I had been car shopping for months and had dealt with many dealerships and private parties. My experience at Buerkle Used Cars was exceedingly better than anywhere else I visited. It was very unlike the pushy routine I had gotten used to at other dealerships. Mr. Ulven was ready to help answer questions and provide information, but throughout the process he gave me the space to try out the cars and to think, and was kind and respectful. This balance made it an overall great experience. Unlike other dealerships, I felt like I was dealing with real people and that I was treated like a real person.I was able to take the car to my own mechanic for a pre-buy evaluation without any hassle, and when my mechanic pointed out a few minor things that needed to be taken care of, Buerkle was happy to do it.There were two small points of negligence with regards to keeping the car maintained while on the lot and with making sure all the instructional paperwork was with the car, but when these things were pointed out the dealership was happy to take care of them.Overall it was an exceptional browsing and buying experience, and I highly recommend the Buerkle dealership.

I was thinking I would have to settle for a car that wasn't quite what I really wanted. Then Steve Iverson called to see if I was still interested in the 2006 Honda Civic they had for sale. I went up and test drove the Civic and really liked it. The price was a little above my comfort zone, but since it had been on their lot for awhile, Steve was able to get the priced dropped enough that it was within my range. Steve was very helpful at pointing out the features of the car and with getting the car ready for me to take possession.Working with Cal Richards was great! He got a rate and term that was better than I could find (and I'd found a pretty good one), which put my monthly payments in a range I was more comfortable with. He was very personable and did a great job of explaining my options and the paperwork I was completing.Everyone who had a hand in the sale was focused on getting me the car I wanted. Elantra has great value for the Dollar. Brian did a great job of stressing the Elantas value, got the car for me in less than 24 hours. The team worked late past 9:30 PM on a Wednesday night, picked the car up on Thursday, and Brian called me on Friday AM to make sure I was satisfied with the purchase and if I had any questions about the Elantra. I initially purchased my Veracruz because of it's "value for the money" proposition. You get a lot for the money you spend. I have since learned that I was very fortunate to purchase this vehicle from a first class dealer with a first class service department. For me, the initial purchase is a very minor part of the bargain. Now you have to live with your purchase and how the vehicle is serviced and how you are treated by the service department is what really matters. Buerkle's service department couldn't be better. I have owned the car for almost 4 years and they have never disappointed me with the service of the vehicle. In fact, Ben and his team went above and beyond with the manufacturer, Hyundai, to obtain a "goodwill" repair for an issue that technically was out of warrantee for my vehicle. My second car is a 2011 Mazda 3. We attempted to buy a 2011 Elantra but they were selling so fast we couldn't get one. The Mazda seemed to be a good alternative. I feel so strongly about the service of my cars that I will be bringing my Mazda to Buerkle for routine service from now on. Needless to say the Mazda dealer service dept. could learn a few things from Buerkle. The Mazda dealer has disappointed me every time I have brought it in for service. Buerkle will remain my first choice for all my car shopping needs.

We were in the market for a new vehicle and after seeing the new Sonatas - they always took my eye. We read reviews and used the Hyundai website to build the car we wanted - so next it was off to the the dealer close to our home to find the vehicle that we built online and also had received a mailer from inviting us to come in a test drive a new car...so off we went...unfortunately they could not help us because they were too busy, but took my name and number...no one ever called in two weeks time.A few weeks later in a conversation with my brother who lives in White Bear Lake, MN I told him of my frustrating experience - he went to the Buerkle Dealership and spoke with Brian Armstong, who immediately located 3 vehicles out of state for us to choose from...we met with Brian the next day and made a deal...the car was trucked from Chicago to Minnesota within one week - exactly the car we wanted. It is gorgeous and we are so happy!! Not a hard sale for Brian, but he could not have been more accomodating and personable. Interestingly we bought a number of Hondas years before from Buerkle and it feels just as good today to work with the Buerkle Dealership- Great Cars - Great Service...we look forward to our next ventures with them.

I visited a lot of dealerships in the process of looking for a new car. I had visited Buerkle Hyundai and Brian was the one who helped me look at some of my options. My practice is to always walk away for a day or two before buying anything...especially when it's an expensive item. Brian followed up with a phone call after my intial visit and told me to let him know if he could help me further. A few weeks later I'd decided on a Tuscon. Because Brian was helpful and not pushy, I went back to him to buy my car. If he'd been a jerk car salesman I wouldn't have gone back at all. His co-worker Mark was more than willing to help me even after I told him that I wanted to be sure to give Brian my business. Together they made it a fun experience.

I originally made contact with Kristine by phone. She was very friendly, professional and informative. Never pushy! I went in the next night for a test drive and when I arrived the car was ready and waiting foe me. No long drawn out sales type questions, just straight to the test drive. I was offered the option of taking the car alone since Kristine was with another customer. This was a big deal to me since I would prefer a solo test drive to really get a feel for the car. When I returned, Kristine was waiting for me and willing to answer any questions. This again was very quick and to the point. I left that evening without purchasing the car but had everything I needed to make a well informed decision. The next day I contacted Kristine via phone and asked her to work the numbers for me including an appraisal of my car for trade. This again was done easily with just a few calls back and forth. In the end we agreed on a price and the entire deal was basically done over the phone. When I went to pick the car up the guys in finance were ready for me and I was in and out in under an hour. Brian was extremely helpful. I came to the dealership, just before closing, the evening before I purchased the car. I was still undecided about models and even a bit about makes. He saw me and , while involved with another customer, excused himself for a brief moment, gave me a business card and showed me his hours for the next day. I called the next morning to be sure that he would be available to see me. He then spent considerable time with me helping me select the best Hyundai model for my needs. In June 2012, I was looking to trade my 2012 Hyundai Tucson for a car due to the fact that my Mother was no longer able to get up into it, so I needed to find a car. I test drove many cars at different dealerships (Chevrolet, Subaru, Buick & Toyota), and of course I included Hyundai. I had met Brian Armstrong while getting an oil change a few monthes earlier - I was looking at new cars to get an idea of what I could trade for. Brian asked me if I needed help with anything. I told him my Mother's situation and he told me the Elantra & Sonata would be good choices, then gave me his card.When I came back on June 15th, he recognized me and I reminded him of what I needed to do. I asked to test drive the Sonata. Brian was very informative, and really knows what Hyundai's & Buerkle are all about. I told him I didn't know how I would be able to get my Mother to the dealership, and Brian offered to let me drive one to her house for her to try. I did that, and she loved it and was able to get in & out. On June 27th, I picked up my 2013 Iridescent Silver Blue Pearl Sonata! I arrived to this dealership on a Saturday afternoon with my father, where we were promptly greeted by Kristine. We discussed whta I was looking for in a Hyundai Elantra and she helped us look at a beautiful model in the showroom. She outlined all the features and asked if I had any questions. While I was very enthusiastic about the car, I still had some thinking to do, which Kristine could tell, and handed me her card to contact her in the future. Sure enough, a few weeks later, I had completed all my necessary research and told Kristine I was ready to talk over the details of getting my car. She had the Elantra pulled into the showroom and then was very helpful with the negotiation process. Sadly, the next day when I picked up the car, the car was having some minor steering wheel issues, which was certainly a downer in my experience. Nevertheless, Kristine ensured that the service team would take care of me and spent plenty of time making sure my concerns were addressed even though it was her day off. Within an hour the service team had fixed the issue and I was on my way. In the weeks since purchasing my car, I've gotten so many comments from friends and family about how they would like to purchase an Elantra in the future, and I've been more than willing to pass on Kristine's name to them and share all the details of my purchase. I'm thrilled with my car and am very thankful for Buerkle Hyundai and Kristine for all their help in the process.

When the transmission went out on my old car it was not worth the money to repair it. But I did have to scramble to find a replacement. Mr. Armstrong was very patient and courteous, and did not take advantage of my misfortune. I started out looking at a Sonata but unfortunately could not make the numbers work. Mr. Armstrong was more than happy to provide me with information on the Elantra which I ended up getting and have been very happy with.

We were cruising all the car lots for a used but nice SUV, it was snowing pretty good and Neal walked acrossed the lot to talk with us. out of th 8 plus dealerships only 2 salesmen actually walked out. The prices aren't marked on the cars which I hate, so if he hadn't came over we would have kept driving like the rest of the lots that didn't have prices marked. After we talked with Neal we went on to a few more dealerships and even filled out paperwork at Toyota but could'nt come to the final price so we went back to Buerkle and test drove and eventually bought our Toyota there.Thanks we are very happy with it so far!

I came in to your dealership having worked with Scott Steinberg aquiring a new Civic in 2008. I did not know what to expect when going to your used car dealers looking for a Odyssey. I was not surprised to have a great salesmen come up and shake my hand and sit me down to talk about my situation having already had a great experience on the new car side. What I didn't expect was to meet someone like Bill Hartman. He is a character, a great person, and a great salesperson! He sat me down and I explained why I am here and what I am lookng for, he immediately brought two Honda Odysseys that would fit me and my wife's requirements. I am normally a very private person but I felt comfortable enough to tell him my situation as I feel obligated to tell you here. My wife has battled cancer for the third time and has lost the use of her legs. So a minivan is our only option to get her where we need to go. Bill Hartman gave me two options in a used Odyssey and explained why they were good choices. He then went on to give me full disclosure on the previous maintenance records including any mishaps the vans have been in through Car Fax. This is very refreshing having worked with other less then open dealers over the years. This gives me confidence in the salesperson and the dealership. After sitting down and talking about our options for about an hour I decided that now was not the right time to buy and I would discuss this further with my wife at home and explore all of our options. I went to some other dealerships and finally settled on a Chrysler Town and Country. We were in the process of negotiating a deal and something just didn't feel right. I called my wife and had her look up the Car Fax and some other things about the vehicles we were looking at and low and behold the vehicle was in a lot of accidents. It was also a rental vehicle for many years. Yes the vehicle looked good and ran well but I knew there would be problems in the future. I asked the salesperson about this and she denied most of it or attempted to redirect our questions. Needless to say I left with a bad taste in my mouth. I went back to Bill Hartman and he immediately recognized me and said hello even though he had someone in his chair that he was dealing with at the time. He told me to wait until he had a moment and he would be with me at that time. After a few moments he came over and asked which of the cars he had showed me that I wanted to look at. Granted this had been two days since I had last saw him and he remembered everything. We proceeded with a vehicle that I thought would best fit us started the negotiations with my wife back at our house through my phone and Buerkle's internet. After pulling up the vehicle to the front Bill said "take your time and tell me when you are ready to talk". No pressure! I proceeded to look the vehicle over thoroughly and take measurements and pictures so my wife could be as involved as possible in the process. When I was ready me and Bill sat down and discussed options. We came to a agreement on which vehicle would best serve our purpose and proceeded with financing. He called Tim Parisian over to get the ball rolling on financing and the rest fell into place. It took a while to get a financing package into place and all the while Bill was keeping me occupied with stories and just being there for his customer. I appreciate this very much because he does not have to do that, he does it because he cares. I and my wife now own a 2005 Honda Odyssey that I can transport her around in without difficulty. It is going to make our lives so much easier and safer. I am going to miss my little Civic that Scott sold me, no doubt. But we have a better car to suit our needs and thanks to Bill Hartman we know that we will be well taken care of in the future. I want to personally thank Bill for taking such good care of us, thank you Bill! I want to thank all the staff of Buerkle Honda/Hyundai for taking good care of our cars and in turn us over the years. My wife and I went to Buerkle Hyundai to buy a used car. We realized that we were better off buying a new car. It was a quiet evening, not many people shopping for cars. We weren't pressured at all by Ron Solomonson who met us first, or by Kristine Kehn when we met her after deciding we wanted a new vehicle. We test drove 3 used vehicles, and the car we ended up driving home. A brand new Hyundai Accent, which we love. We were never given a pitch. At one point, we were going to leave, deciding we needed to look at more used cars. We were wished well, but we turned around, went back in, and bought a new car. This is a first class operation, and we were happy to buy our car here.

I do not recommend a dealer to anyone unless I know they will take care of my friends, family and clients in a way that makes them happy. I have dealt specifically with Tom Capra on virtually all of my purchases that I can recall. Any problem I have ever had, he just gets it fixed. I just bought my first new car...something I never really beleived in, a Honda Civic, from Tom. Now my 4 kids will start to purchase..probably from Tom. My deals have always been highly competitive in terms of pricing for product and any issues were dealt with promtly and professionally.

Visited Buerkle Hyundai with the intent on purchasing our second Hyundai from this dealership. The first purchase (Tucson) went OK but still had many issues (see below). Decided on the Elantra and trading in our current vehicle. Mike Holm said he would call us on Monday (2-days later)and give us status on an Elantra and a price on our trade.....didn't hear anything so I called him late Monday. He had no information but promised to call me right away the following morning with information on both. Well here we are 2 weeks later........yes 2 weeks later and I have yet to hear anything from Mike Holm. Even after speaking to the sales manager (Randy Heiser,I believe) I have yet to hear from anything from him....not even an apology for leaving us hanging. This seems to be the normal game playing that happens with this dealer, as many times even during our first purchase we were promised information and it would take many days to hear anything back.....I almost always ended up having to call to get information. This is not isolated to Mike Holm but seems to be a management issue as we've experienced this lack of customer concern in many areas of Buerkle Hyundai. Here are just a very few of our experiences over the last 8 months:Several times we were left hanging with promises to call us on status of the Tucson when purchasing. I always had to call to find out what was going on. I never did hear anything back from Mike Holm on the pricing of an accessory, the rearview mirror (with temp readout)for our Tucson. Several continued promises, but as is normal these promises of getting back to me with pricing information never happened, so I ended up just giving up on it. I called Brian Coyle in service about a 3M dealer installed option that we had problems with. I left 2 voice mails over the course of 2 weeks with absolutely no response from Brian. I then emailed Mike Holm to assist with this issue - Took another 2 weeks to respond and take any action on this issue. This is only after I had to email Mike again to remind him about it. Total of 4 weeks and many requests just for a simple warranty request. The service department took over 1 month to respond about a request on expanding service hours. This was after several requests from me for a response. Their service and parts dept. hours are not in the customers best interest as they are only open during a customers normal daytime working hours. I asked about Buerkle's online service scheduling as it has a technical glitch issue with availability that needs to be fixed. I went to 3 different people, each time all I got was excuses and no resolution. Telling me to talk to someone else each time. Nobody took ownership of the problem and blew me off. I gave up on it. I picked up my Tucson from the service department with strong gasoline smell throughout the interior of vehicle. I complained but all I got was a shrug of the shoulders from the service tech. Took 3 days for this smell to go away. No follow-up call to check into issue from Buerkle. Now it's been over 2 weeks with not so much as an email or phone call when I was promised status the very next morning on trade-in and vehicle status. What's up Mike Holm???? If you don't want our trade or don't want to sell us a car be honest and tell us what the issue is, don't play games and blow us off. At the time of this writing I have yet to hear anything from anyone at Buerkle Hyundai. I could write more but at this point I think you get the point. Is this the way Buerkle treats their customers?Seems like its a big problem with Buerkle that is widespread and needs management to make some big changes. Were done playing games with Buerkle Hyundai and will go to a dealership that cares.I won't set foot in this dealership again and will make sure I let others know how we were treated. We did purchase our Elantra Limited and got an excellent trade-in offer at a different Hyundai dealer. All within 1 hour.....No games like Buerkle is playing. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of Buerkle Hyundai dealership....You'll save yourself some big time frustration. There are other much better ran dealerships in the Twin Cities area that honestly care about the customer. Update after "Buerkle Hyundai wrote on 11/10/2011 12:59:25 PM"You have my phone number, email, and home address but here it is over 3 weeks later and I have yet to get a personal response from Mike Holm or anyone at Buerkle. I think my wife and I deserve an apology and explanation as to why Mike Holm snubbed us and never got back when trying to purchase a new vehicle.But, I'm probably expecting to much aren't I?

I just purchased my second Hyundia, and I cant say enough about the great service at Buerkle. The dealership is always clean and well maintained. Jeff Aderman was my sales rep, and he was fantastic. Jeff is always friendly and professional. In addition, he very knowledgeable about all the different models available, and he will always go the extra mile to make sure the customer has all of their questions and/or concerns answered. I was frustrated because my "air pressure light" came on for the 3rd time in about a month. We already put Nitro into the tires as recommended twice. So I came into the service department and Ben asked how he could help. I explained that I was crabby about my light coming on again....it is frustrating. I was frustrated. Ben explained how come the "air pressure light" comes on some times with air pressure changes. If all tires were a little low, it was a good guess it was cold weather air pressure changes. If he found that one tire was really low, then that tire was probably the problem. This time he read the tire pressure with me present to show me, and then recommend they check the tire that was low as the other three were fine. They ended up finding a leak that could be fixed the tire for $31.56. But the impact of Ben taking the time to listen to what I had experienced up to this point, explained what could be the problem and show me how he was going to detect the problem. He was very professional, patient, and effective. I really like my Hyundai Sonata and now I should be comfortable driving it on the highway again. I really recommend Ben Endres as a professional, and effective business associate of Buerkle Hyundia. Thanks, Becky G.

Barb was the first person to greet us when we walked in the door every time we were there while other sales persons walked right past us. She was friendly and patient while my wife and I looked at several models. Barb was an excellent resource in explaining the different features and options available. I had been to several other Hyundai dealerships in town and spent some time online but we were still unsure what we wanted. Barb spent a great deal of time helping us sort out which features were most important to us and helped get us what we wanted. Our daughter will be buying a new car this spring and we will bring her to Barb.

I have been to Buerkle Honda many times before and will keep going back. The dealers there are all friendly and helpful. The prices are fair and if there is anything wrong with the car, I know I can call and ask questions and the problem will be resolved. I always recommend this dealership to people looking for a car, because, to put it bluntly, I know they won't get screwed over by the dealership.

Buerkle has always had a reputation for auto sales and service in the northern suburbs of St Paul. While makes and models have changed kindness and courtesy have not both while selling and now back for our first service call after the hassle free sales experience we had in September. Selection of vehicles was diverse. Service and sales was excellent and friendly. Every need was attended to, be it info on car value to having a bottle of water/beverage in our hands. No pressure on sales kept decision making less stressful. Bill Hartman in particular was a joy to deal with. Always went the extra mile (and even further at times) to make any problem solved. Bill is very personable and made the buying experience a great one. the used car I purchased had a small part of carpet on floor boards that had come loose from the connecting trim. I never mentioned it as used cars will always have some things that are worn. But when a small interior trim piece near the rear window was being fixed due to it causing cabin noise while driving (not related to the carpet) I got that car back to find that the service worker saw the carpet problem and fixed it as well. With that attention to detail and inspection to the over all car while servicing it really impressed me. Now my car is flaw free and is beautiful. Left the dealer feeling in good hands and driving away with piece of mind.

Our salesperson, Brian, went far beyond what I expected to get to know us and to give us all the information we needed to make our decision on a car. He responded promptly to our phone calls and always greeted us with a friendly smile when we came to test drive a car. When we decided on the car we wanted, he had it all buffed and shined up for us the same day. Then, he went through the whole car explaining how to operate every button and even sinked our cell phone to the bluetooth, so I could use this feature immediately. He was so open and honest, we knew we could really trust him to help us make a good deal on our car. The dealership is very inviting, with a clean and bright showfloor and a great lounge with awesome snacks. Our entire experience was enjoyable and we are very satisfied with our new car.

Buerkle has an outstanding reputation. We purchased our last vehicle from a Buerkle dealership and had an excellent experience. They have a family feel about them. Not a chain-store feel. Their staff have always treated us respectfully and as if they valued us. I've dealt with other dealerships that still play the old-school sales games that repulse and disrespect buyers. I walk out on those.Brian Armstrong was my salesman. Hands-down the best auto salesman I've ever dealt with. Comes across as a down-to-earth person, and one with integrity. Almost more like a friend that is helping you out. Not someone treating you like you're another sales commission.Customer service from everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional.This was easily the best car buying experience I've had. The Buerkle dealership is very much evolved. They are in tune with what car buyers want in their experience.I strongly recommend Buerkle and salesman Brian Armstrong.I rated the 'price' as good, having to pay sticker due to strong demand and little supply. I still think the value with my Hyundai Elantra is excellent compared to the competition.

After visiting a couple of reputable dealers, I went to Buerkle Hyundai to compare costs on a car to lease. Ms. Walsh struck me immediately as being rather new to the business-not particularly knowledgeable about products or procedure. This made me rather leery, but leeriness quickly turned to shock as Ms. Walsh apparently thought it was a good idea to share her political views with me!! When did this become part of a sales pitch??I have worked in the service industry for a long time and can tell you without a doubt that I would have been fired on the spot if I ever had the nerve and lacked the professionalism to conduct myself in the manner that Ms. Walsh did.HELLO, Buerkle Hyundai- am I to assume that Ms. Walsh's political views are representative of your dealership??? Obviously, I did not lease/buy a thing, nor will I ever set foot in your door again. I would urge anyone looking at a Hyundai to drive right on past Buerkle...

I have little experience with car dealerships and this was the best experience I have ever had. Bill and his staff volunteered to fill my tank with gas. When they noticed there was only one key they again volunteered to go down the street and get a spare made. Another dealer in my home town would not do that for my friend when he asked. Also, the car was not finished with the cleaning when I made the purchase and again they made sure to finish the cleaning before I left. Bill disclosed everything about the used car and I was impressed with his honestly and knowledge of the car. I was very disappointed in my visit to Buerkle Hyundai. I built my car online and knew exactly what I wanted for my Hyundai. Steve convinced me to come in for a test drive even though they didnt have what I wanted on the lot yet. After test driving one in another color we decided to fill out the appropriate paperwork. Accoding to the paperwork they had, they should have had one of my specific cars on the lot. I was told this was common and it should be in within a day or two. I put money down to place the car on hold when it comes in. After 2 full days they could not confirm when my car was coming in, but probably not until the next week. At that point the dealer tried to convince me to buy another color I didnt want. Instead of waiting for what I wanted, I found another dealership in the cities that had what I wanted. When I contacted Steve to credit my money back for the down payment on the car on hold, he would not respond to me. It took 2 e-mails and 3 days to get a response. At that point he had a bad attitude towards me and basically told me it had been passed on to the finance department and not to contact him with any other questions. I will not be purchasing from ANY Buerkle car dealership in the future and I am telling friends, family, and anyone who will listen about my poor experience with Buerkle Hyundai.
