Through a series of fortune and misfortune, I've purchased three Subarus from Byers Airport Subaru over the last 6 months. After having bad experiences at other dealers I went in not expecting much. I went in looking for a new car. But after explaining my budget they took me to an almost new used Impreza, instead of showing me the top of line (like every other dealership had). Brain knew exactly what kind of car would meet my needs after only a few details. I arrived at 6:30 and after test drive, paperwork and detailing the car I was still out the door by 8. Brain was very knowledgeable about all the Subaru's and really made me feel like I was making the right purchase with going with an Impreza. Not only that but I was able to test drive it by myself, which is a huge plus for me. My mother came with me to look at cars and she has a service dog. Not once did anyone think twice about the dog, or have any issues with the dog coming along for the test drive. Although I realize that business shouldn't think twice, many places do. At a honda dealership I went to, you could actually see the look of horror on the sales person face when we said that the dog was intact coming along for the test drive. Subaru really is dog tested, dog approved lol. I will absolutely recommended this dealer to anyone looking for a vehicle and I will be back for routine maintenance.

David is knowledgable and honest. His calm and relaxed demeanor creates a totally non-pressured atmosphere. He doesn't play games. My son and I visited Byers first and wanted to look at other cars in other dealerships. When we left the showroom we were amazed that no pressure was applied to keep us there and purchase. After looking at other cars, Subaru and David at Byers were an easy choice. I am very happy with my new Subaru Impreza. David was also easily accessible for questions that arose after the purchase.

This was my third Subaru, but first *brand new* purchase. For those wanting a quick review of my experience, I can categorize working with Mike Bell and Byers Auto as *excellent* and would gladly do business with them again. I consider myself already acquainted with the Subaru brand, and already understood the quality and type of car (Outback) that I wanted to get, I wasn't sure about the options packages. Mike went over the pros, cons and basic instructions with the enthusiasm of a beginner, although I know he probably does this countless times a day. I had made an appointment for my visit, and Mike took the time to have a couple of comparably equipped cars already waiting side by side for comparison purposes. While I wasn't entirely sold on the options I wanted, Mike helped me choose and listened to what I needed. Here I am three weeks later not regretting a single thing about my purchase; Mike sized my needs up perfectly.We were able to take our time, be comfortable with everything we discussed and came to a deal later that afternoon. This was a big purchase for us, and I know we were treated fairly and given lots of attention. I know that Mike presented us with some very competitive pricing based on supplemental research and I feel as though everyone walked away happy with this transaction.Also as a side note to my purchasing experience, I would like to state that I was already a customer at Byers after having moved to this area 5 years ago. They have always serviced my previous Subaru Outback with as much courtesy and attention that was afforded to me on the sales floor. I will follow-up with a specific review for that part of the dealership.

He didnt try to push anything beyond our means. He portrayed a great deal of professionalism throughout the entire process and at the same time is a person you can talk to. It was the end of my lease term on a competitor brand vehicle. I really loved that vehicle, except that the V6 engine (which I loved for pick-up but did not love for gas mileage) caused the front wheel drive tires to spin in any road conditions other than dry pavement because the vehicle was lighter weight. I was tired of tensing up and gritting my teeth during adverse conditions. So I was looking for a vehicle with all wheel drive. I researched different brands on the internet on and off for about a year before my lease was due to expire, looking at Consumer Reports reviews, resale values, customer reviews, etc. and I looked around at vehicles on the road to see what I liked. I test drove a couple of other vehicles and looked at several while dealerships were closed. A Subaru was on my list of vehiles to look at because the symetrical all wheel drive piqued my interest, but I was unfamiliar with the brand so looking at pictures on the internet would not suffice; I needed to test drive one. The Outback had recently changed body styles and the change was definitely eye-catching. We stopped at the dealership when it was closed to take a look and decided it was worth a return trip. Coming back in and working with Mike Bell was a true pleasure. He has an in-depth knowledge of Subaru vehicles and was able to provide detailed information about all of the Outback's features. Having Mike around was like having our own walking, talking operator's manual! And, Mike has a very professional, polite, yet causal ease to him that is quite comforting. He is not the sterotypical "shark" of a car salesman that is such a turn off and makes you immediately not trust them; he was like talking and working with a friend. The overall purchasing experience was wonderful; I did not feel as if I was arm wrestling over the price. I was also offered a better price on my trade-in than any other dealership had offered, allowing for positive equity. The price of all vehicles could be lower in my opinion, but I was able to purchase this Outback instead of lease and still stay within my budget (by giving up a few luxury items I wanted, but did not need), so I am satisfied with the price. Thank you Subaru and Mike Bell for a positive buying experience!

I am 73 years old and have beenn married for 47 years. Over that time we have bought between 12 and 15 cars (not sure of the exact number). NEVER has our buying experience been as easy and pleasant as the one with Peter. It started with a telephone call from me to Peter following a frustrating personal visit with a local Subaru dealer. I explained to Peter that our daughter has owned several Subaru's but we had never owned one. Peter listened to me and while we were telling him the make, model and possible colors, he was using his computer to locate the vehicle. He did not hassle us with various prices but rather explained the features of the Legacy. When we went to pick up the car...(three hours away from our home and mind you we had never met him in person)...he was excited to meet us and had everything ready for us. Also, the visits we had from the finance manager and general manager were just as pleasant. And, Peter's follow up phone calls and emails has made me very happy that he cares about us and how we are enjoying our Legacy. I had a very good experience at Byers with Dave Disbennett. After spending several months researching the Subaru Premier Sport Impreza, I was unable to locate anyone who had my exact preferences in stock locally (Akron, Oh). My husband and I spoke to, texted, and emailed Dave Disbennett and he was very professional, thorough and knowledgeable about Subaru's and the specific differences in the 2012 Impreza. He stayed after hours to make sure we received the photos he sent. We decided to drive the 150 miles to Byers to test drive the Impreza. Dave was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the Impreza and the sales pitch at Byers was very low-key. I received a very fair deal and was treated with respect and was not rushed or pressured in any way. Overall, an excellent experience and I would strongly recommend Byers. I bought a Subaru almost seven years ago from Byers, and because I had a good experience then I traded that one in for a new Forester. Bob, salesman, did a great job listening to my requirements and I took two cars on a test drive. Bob was very patient and friendly. Bob was very knowledgable about the cars and took time to explain the workings of the cars and answered my questions. Nelson introduced himself and was ready to detail my new Forester as soon as the deal was sealed. Even though I was there all afternoon, I was offered coffee and free snacks. As soon as I walked in the door Rick, manager, asked Bob to take care of me. Rick checked back several times. Steven, finance, was friendly and prompt.RECCOMENDATION: I walked in with my husband, and to start with I felt that the conversation was totally directed to him. I then made it very clear that I was the one buying the car. Please don't assume that the guy is making the decisions, ask first. By the way, Bob did work with me the rest of time and my husband was just there so I could ask him his opinion. (If I wanted it!)

I then contacted Pete Ziskowski by email several times and he answered all of my questions and we set up a Time for me to come in and Test drive the new Subaru Legacy that I wanted. I was very pleased with Pete as a salesman, as a former Subaru mechanic he was very informative. Pete was not pushy or "high Pressure" at all, which suits my car buying style. Byers Subaru service department is not trustworthy. Avoid them if you can. The other Byers dealer in Dublin is no better so you are stuck if you have warranty repair issues in the Columbus area.

I spent two months looking for a new car. I researched, talked to others, test drove, compared cars. I also went to other dealers. Byers on N. Hamilton had the total package...they had the product I was looking for, safe and affordable; they treated me like an intelligent customer (not like some "dumb woman" as I was treated by another dealer); they answered all my questions without expressing any dissatisfaction(I must have asked a hundred questions); they did not try to pressure me to buy or finance beyond the normal sales-pitch (another dealer was so rude I walked out); and they gave some incentives that tilted the scale i.e., fair pricing, free car washes and free oil change/tire rotation, percentage off from internet search, etc. I spent four hours there and no one blinked an eye at my persistence to get the best CAR/DEAL.I also have several friends who have shopped here and highly recommended this dealership over any other. (They are return customers too.)I have driven the car for almost a week now, and I love it!

I took advantage of a rainy day to car shop and to learn more about the Subaru wagons which I had been researching online - professional reviews/reports and owner reviews. I have several Subaru dealerships to choose from in Columbus, OH, but started with Byers Imports because they seemed to have the largest inventory online. Sales consultant David came out as I window shopped the line up of Outback wagons and offered his umbrella as I looked. I am a retired female, but I know alot about cars and have always liked cars and driving. David treated me with great respect and listened as I told him what I'd already learned about the vehicles. I was only there to "look" and had no intention to trade cars that day. David's extensive knowledge of the Subaru line and his non-pushy approach combined with just the right questions to learn what I wanted/needed in my next car lead to us going inside, sitting down, and seeing if we could do business. He had my Mini Cooper appraised, presented a good trade offer, helped me with some extended warranty issues that I was concerned about, and we finally reached an agreement. I was introduced to his sales manager and the finance specialist. My new Subaru was prepped for me to drive home. I really love it. It is our first Subaru. We have been a family of Volvo's, Infiniti, and Honda. I even look forward to those first snow flakes as winter approaches. I highly recommend Byers Imports Subaru!

Pete was very friendly and helpful throughout our shopping and buying experience. We made three visits to the dealership while making our decision, driving the Forester two different times. Made contact with the dealership through the website and then visited in person after making an appointment with Josh Sands. They didn't have the particular vehicle I was looking for on-site but had one already ordered that was exactly what I was looking for. Test drove a similar used vehicle and decided to reserve the one on order. Josh was a pleasure to work with without being at all pushy. The ordering and delivery process went smoothly and was a pleasure. Oh and did I mention I love my new WRX?!

From the 1st time we entered Byers Subaru of Columbus lot and salesman Josh Sands greeted us with a smile we were in good hands. Being first time Subaru buyers we needed an education and had to test drive the Forester & Outback a couple times and decided on the Forester. Then since they did not have in stock the color we wanted Josh Sands worked very hard finding and showing me the specs on several Foresters in the Ohio area that he could get. After I finally decided which one he had it and prepped in 2 days and we drove home a happy Subaru owner.
