Dave literally communicated with me for hours on the phone answering all of my questions. I live in Texas and needed as much info on the Suburban as possible so I could make an informed decision on my purchase. Dave sent me many pictures and informed me of every single detail. He also had the vehicle thoroughly inspected and found that the brake pads were going to need replaced in the next 5,000 miles so he took care of it. We looked at a Lexus GX at Calvary Motors. We found a very nice car. Dave, the owner, seemed like a nice guy. He acted very straight forward. I liked him. He told us that the car was a trade in and had only been serviced locally at the Lexus dealer. We looked up the car at Lexus on-line and, yes, it had been serviced every 5,000 miles. We wondered, why did Lexus sell the car at auction? So we investigated further and contacted the dealer. They said that there might be a major problem with the car. It had a potential problem in the rear differential. We decided that the best action, prior to purchase, was to take it to Lexus and pay for a complete inspection. That was a very smart move. Lexus went through the car and pointed to many defects that we would have never seen. But they also commented on the rear differential noise. They said that it could just be cupped tires, but the mechanic didn't think so. They said that if we paid an extra diagnostic fee they would find for sure if there was a problem. While we waited, I shopped on-line for new tires. I still was hoping that the problem was tires. When they came back they said that the rear differential was on its last leg and was about to fall apart. It would cost thousands to fix the problem. That is why Lexus sold the car at auction. It would cost too much to bring it up to par. I called Dave to tell him my experience and that I was sorry that it didn't make sense to purchase the car. Dave basically called me a liar, saying that his mechanic, a used car dealer mechanic, said that the car was fine. You can draw your own conclusions.

My wife and I stopped in last week to look at the Hummer they had sitting up front. What an amazing experience dealing with Calvary Motors. We were greeted promptly with a smile and offered a cold bottle of water. The young man helping us was very knowledgeable and not pushy at all. We did not end up buying the Hummer because it just wasn't for us. However we will be watching their inventory and sending all of our friends who are in need of a vehicle back to Calvary Motors. What a refreshing feeling to find an honest dealership in todays corrupt world. The owner introduced himself to us as if we were family. Very easy to deal with, I will be definitely doing business with them in the future. Please send everyone you know, its one of the few dealers left that actually cares about their reputation.

I seen the truck that I had been wanting but was just skeptical on buying. So finally I gave Calvary Motors a call he explained the truck in very good detail, wasn't pushy, and was awesome to speak with. I thought that the service was good over the phone, but then I got to the actual lot and it was even better still very friendly people and very knowledgeable on their inventory. We went on a test drive and I decided to buy they had my paperwork done and I was in and out in no time and drove my new avalanche home the same day. She was caught in between the two - I like the convertible and she liked the 4 door.. Deal was so good on both I am contemplating going back and buying the Beetle! I initially stopped in to check out a VW New Beetle Convertible but I fell in love with the Mazda3! I test drove it, did some paperwork, paid for the car as well as the extended warranty and was out the door in a little over an hour! I came in and told Dave what I wanted and he helped me out immediately. My bank wouldn't finance me but he offered me his finance service. He dropped my interest rate by 4 points with his banker. I am able to re finance my current car with his bank as well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a straight honest deal.

I bought a 2006 Suzuki XL-7 from this company. During my initial contact, Dave told me the only problem issue with the vehicle is hail damages all over (as I saw in the ad). I saw the car online and did not go to see the car but ordered it shipped. Upon delivery, I found out that the vehicle had other serious issues which David refused to disclose to me- it has a weird noise in the engine and the mechanics said it has timing chain problem which will cost about two thousand dollars to fix, plus the front windshield is broken. When I called him, he yelled at me over the phone and lied again that he told me about all the problems prior to paying. His staff was also rude to me over the phone. Once they get your money, they start avoiding to talk to you. I will NOT go back to purchase any vehicle from Calvary Motors. Buyers, please beware of Calvary motors. They are very dishonest.

I purchased a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Calvary Motors on 9/19/2012. This vehicle was advertised on multiple websites (including cars.com and calvarymotors.com) as a "Limited" edition (I have screenshots if needed). Calvary Motors sold this car as a Limited edition and I based my purchase of this car on it being a Limited edition. Turns out this vehicle is a Laredo edition and not a Limited edition. According to NADA, this drops the value of the car $2000.00. I contacted Dave at Calvary Motors hoping he would do the right thing and help me recoup the lost value I incurred because of the false advertising. I was offered two things by Calvary. The first was $500 in free maintenance. I'm not interested in this as it does not help the value of the car when I go to trade it in. The second thing I was offered was to consign the car to him and let him sell it to someone else for more than he sold it to me. I'm not interested in this either because it's not a guarantee I'll recoup the lost dollars and it's puts me without a car while he tries to sell it. On the phone Calvary repeatedly told me what a good deal I got on the car. I don't dispute that. But because I got a good deal does not mean that I should be OK with buying a car not as advertised. I do not want to return the car as I do like it and have already put money into it in the form of removing window tinting, add ons, insurance, and tax and title. If I returned it, not only would I have to worry about getting money back for everything I put in it, I'd have to start all over buying another car and I'm not going to dedicate more of my time to it. In the end Calvary(Dave) read their claim that all details of a car purchased from them should be confirmed essentially stating that this issue is my fault. I admit I should have ran a Carfax but when I brought Carfax up with the saleman (Scott), I was told how Carfax is unreliable and handed an article on why people should not use Carfax. Dave claimed that all websites he uses list this car as a Limited edition. Every website I looked this car up on say it's a Laredo. Even if it was a "system glitch" it was still advertised and sold falsely and now what I thought was a great deal on a car turns out to not be so. Dealer did make attempts to reach at a resolution with me which is admirable and this very well may have been an honest mistake, but to me the resolution offers would either not make me whole or unnecessarily take up more of my time. Bottom line, research the vehicle before purchasing from this dealer.

Excellent purchase experience. Purchased our 2004 Lexus ES330 at Calvary from Dave (dealership owner) yesterday (05/07/12). Had the car inspected, which came back with a clean report. He was up front with me on the phone about everything I would notice about the car regarding any defects and overall condition. This was nice and different from the 4 previous ES330s that I had reviewed with other dealers and private parties. Dealt with Dave directly, and he responded quickly to any questions I had. My last Lexus (LS400) was purchased at Superior Toyota in Merriam (near Kansas City) and that experience was simply awful. My wife and I were treated as cattle there. Dave treated me with respect--a completely different and positive experience. Dave was personable and knowledgable, and he made allowance for me to meet him after his normal hours with no complaints. Our car was nicely washed and cleaned for our arrival. When I'm ready to purchase my next Lexus, he will be in my short list of people with whom to deal. Dealership facilities are not fancy - but that keeps overhead low, and it was cleaner than the pictures led me to believe. Ultimately they were fine for our purpose (I'm there to buy a great car, not marvel at the building).

I drove 4 hours to pick up a vehicle from this dealership. They told me everything on this vehicle worked like it was brand new... exact words from the owner himself! Got there and yes visually this vehicle seemed in perfect condition. Not quite! After I drove the 4 hours back home we found out the back window/back winshield wiper/and back defrost all was not working. Also found out the DVD player did not work and our friends told us two weekends ago our passenger break lights are not working. Sure doesn't sound like everything works like brand new to me. Guessing his statement that "You're Blessed at Calvary" is not so true in my opinion. He hasn't even offered to help with any of the expences to fix these things that are not working. Sounds pretty shady to me... I would think twice about buying anything from this guy!
