I recently purchased a 2016 Subaru Legacy with the assistance of salesman Rod Natalie. Rod was very knowledgeable about any question I had regarding the car and also followed up on any questions that he did not know off the top of his head. He was very patient in the whole process and did not get annoyed with any of my oddball questions. The quality I look for most when shopping for a new car is non-aggressive salespeople. Capitaland's atmosphere was non-pushy and I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a quality experience.

The car salesman could not answers my questions about some of the features of the 2016 WRX because they just got them in. He didn't even bother to look up my questions. He also would not let a test drives before we have numbers on them. Who is going to spend negotiate numbers on a car they are not 100% sure they want, that is more than $30,000? You can't even drive the car first? The car salesman stated he needed "to make sure I was serious", oh I was. I went to another dealer and drove one that day and bought a car.

I purchased a Legacy in May, and it was the best car shopping experience I've ever had, no pressure, and my needs were listened to. I recently needed a repair on my car and the service dept went out of their way to help me get this fixed. Everyone I worked with in the service dept, from the desk, to the technicians were very helpful. No one at CapitaLand Subaru has ever talked down to me because I was a woman. I'll never but a car, or have it serviced, anywhere else.

Was in the dealership with my daughter and made a great deal for a 2015 Subaru Impreza. Andy Sweet our salesman was honest and easy to deal with. I was in and out of the dealership in less than 2 hours with the deal closed and financing complete. I have bought numerous cars from Andy and I can say he is always a pleasure to work with. Car was prep for delivery next day, and Andy spent time with my daughter going over all the bells and whistles of the vehicle. Will definitely come back again for a new Subaru. I had located a new Subaru Impreza for my son at Capitaland, but it was in-transit. I worked with the salesman (Marco) and with both agreed on a price for the car when it came in. He called me the next day to tell me it was already spoken for by a friend of the manager. He said he could find a locator car or order one which would take 8 to 12 weeks to order. Ordering one was not an option for my son. The salesman found a locator car while I was on the phone and again he agreed to sell that car for the same price. My son went in the next day to finalize the deal and no locator car was found, only ordering a new car (8 to 12 weeks) or buying the original in-transit car for a much higher price. For some reason this car became available again. It is dificult to deal with someone who changes the price and availability of vehicles. In hindsight we should have left the dealership. We did buy the car for a slightly higher price than originally negotiated because of need (which he knew after we negotiated the original price). The remaining buying process was fine. I can't speak about Capitalland in general, but I would find another salesman there.

I recently had a great car buying experience at Capitaland Motors Subaru. My sales rep, Rod, is very professional and knowledgable. He went above and beyond to drive 30 min to pick me up when my new car was delivered to their lot. He also took the time to give me a crash course on all my new gadgets in the car. The business manager, George, was also exceptional. For these reasons and more I will be bypassing a closer Subaru dealership to service my car at Capitaland.

The folks in the Service Department went out of their way to help me deal with Subaru headquarters on an out of warranty problem on my 2007 Outback that Subaru resolved for me in a most satisfactory manner. Thank you so much. We have leased our last 3 Subaru's from this dealer with no hassle, no pressure and none of the usual new vehicle sales nonsense that I have found at other dealers. The last one was for my wife's 2014 Outback. Andy Swett has been a pleasure to deal with. My wife and I have had Subaru's exclusively since 1998.

This was the first time I made a purchase from Capitaland Motors. I bought a GMC Terrain. Rod Natalie, the salesman I dealt with, was friendly and eager to help me find the vehicle I wanted. As far as price goes, it was a good deal with no head games as I know what I could afford as payments and trade in. Dan Caruso helped me with that also. I like the way I was treated at Capitaland as Goldstein was playing games with pricing. Since I went to Capitaland, my buying experience was pretty darn good. I suggest, go see Rod Natalie if you are looking for a GMC Terrain. He made my buying experience a pleasant one.

I would like to place special emphasis on my sales consultant Rod Natalie Jr. At no time during the process didn't I feel pressured to make a purchase and when I was ready Rod walked me through the process thoroughly and at my pace. Rod went over all the features on the car I purchased, and gave me a complete tour of the facility. I was introduced to the parts and services staff, and explained the process of scheduling maintenance. Upon delivery of my 2014 Subaru Crosstrek I was impressed with the care taken to assure the car was ready to go. I was looking to lease a new car to replace my Honda Insight. My new car had to provide a bit more comfort but also good fuel mileage. I tried another Subaru dealer in the area and they did not come close to working with what I wanted for a leased car. I went to Capitaland Motors and met with Rod Natalie. It was the easiest car leasing/buying experience I have ever had. I told him what I expected for my trade in, the lease payment I wanted, and the type of lease I wanted. He walked away with my list and came back saying we had a deal. There was no dickering, no comments about not being able to meet my needs, and no surprises. A few weeks ago I leased a 2014 Subaru Forester from Capitaland Motors in Scotia NY. This was my first experience at Capitaland and my first Subaru. The recent snow events were a good test, and the Forester passed with flying colors! The all-wheel drive, excellent visibility and handling gave me the security I was looking for in a vehicle. The amenities are enough anyone could want, and it's a very attractive vehicle as well. The staff at Capitaland (especially Marco) are extremely customer-oriented, a rarity these days. Marco spent a great deal of time explaining the various options and he made sure I understood how to navigate the many options on my car - programming blue-tooth, setting radio stations, heated seats, cruise control, wipers, lights, etc. He even called me after the first snow storm to see how it drove in the bad weather and if I had any questions! I'm definitely a Subaru fan and highly recommend Capitland Motors for a most pleasant buying/leasing experience.

This was the third car I have purchased from this dealer. I've kept my cars long enough that the staff is not the same as for my last purchase but he philosophy is the same. They are straightforward and fair. Rob Mayer was the salesperson -- he was friendly, informed and he was not pushy at all. One thing I find most impressive is they always greet me with a smile before I even get to tell them why I am there and always thank me for my business when I leave. Sales person, Robert Mayer was very good. He is young and very personable, patient and he was not pushy. He was as excited as I was when he located the car I wanted. I would only suggest that when selling a car, if the buyer is looking for "all the options" it would be good to go through all the options Subaru offers for that particular car. I thought the HomeLink came standard with the car, but it did not. So the car had to be returned the next day to have the new mirror installed. This was not a big deal at all, but just for future reference. I think Robert will do well as a salesperson.

Capitaland was the only GMC dealer open until 8 pm, out of the 3 in the immediate area. We were on vacation when our Saturn Outlook with 58K miles broke down on NY Thruway. It needed a new transmission which couldn't be located and installed for days. At Capitaland, Robert Mayer was there for us every step of the way without a hint of pressure. His concern, exceptional guidance and experienced product knowledge calmed us in a stressful situation far from home. We returned the next day and Robert scoured the surrounding dealers for our perfect car but when we test drove a red Terrain from Capitaland inventory, that was it. George Palmer squared away the financial end of the deal very quickly even though further paperwork had to be sent. With their professionalism and friendliness throughout our nightmare we drove our beautiful GMC Terrain Denali, 250 miles home. Robert, George and the Capitaland team wrapped this up in less than 24 hours! Thank you! ...and even inquired if we made it home safely the next day.

Went to Capitaland Subaru to look at a WRX 5-door. There was one listed in their inventory at their website. When I got there, they said it was sold the day before. Hmmm, and it is still listed in their inventory on their website days later. Here is the issue, I asked what the price would be for a WRX and the salesman said, "$1500 over sticker." I scowled at him and said, "What?", and he immediately said, "OK, $500 over sticker." with a straight face. I said, "In the local vernacular, that ain't gonna happen.", and I left. WRX's are not an unusual car to have to pay a premium. Many local dealers have one to three of them in stock. I went home and signed on the internet and contacted a local dealer for an internet email price for exactly what I wanted. He had one in stock and gave me a price of $1000 UNDER sticker! That's what I thought it should be. Sleeze just seems to ooze from car sales staff, so caveat emptor. I'm shopping somewhere else . . . LASTLY, I read the reviews here. ALL of them were five stars. Maybe I am being pessimistic, but that seems rather bogus to me.

I went to Capitaland just from searching on the internet and they had the car I was looking to buy. The sales guy, Robert, was extremely helpful and made the whole process seem not as stressful as I was anticipating. This was my first "real" car and I never went through the whole process before. My mom was financing the car for me and she is across the state but they worked with us and went through a couple phone conversations with her to make sure she was happy with everything. I love the car! I have been driving it for almost a couple months now and it is awesome. They gave a fair deal. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I had been looking at a new 2013 Subaru CrossTrek Limited 2.0 with moon-roof and nav. Sent an email to the 4 local dealers in this area. 1 didn't respond, 3 others did. I had a positively loaded 2012 Chevy Equinox LTZ to trade which had all kinds of equity in it. Of the 3 dealers I spoke with, Robert Mayer (no relation) was the most reasonable as far as discussing what I had in mind, what I had to trade and how we could potentially work something with very little out of pocket expense due to the Equinox's equity. My experience with him driving the deal was as pleasant as it gets. I got close to the trade value I expected, Robert went out of his way to find the exact vehicle I was seeking. He found it out of state. He had it ready in 2 days. 1 day to get it, 1 day to prep. Robert took his time, made sure I was comfortable, showed me around the dealership and there were no hidden details or surprises. I don't think I spent more than 90 minutes from my initial visit to see what the Equinox was valued at and the availability of the exact CrossTrek I wanted. He was available via email, kept me updated on the progress of the vehicle search and couldn't have been more patient at closing. Even though I could get my own financing, George Palmer in finance was also extremely helpful in in securing even better financing than I found. A very smooth, quick and painless trade-in / buying experience. Try these guys out people, you'll more than likely walk away smiling. As in any deal, the stronger position you're in, the easier it is. I would certainly recommend Robert Mayer & George Palmer going forward.

Walked into Capitaland after being to a few different Chevy and a few different GMC dealers showrooms. I had a vehicle I was looking to trade in and needed a certain amount for it to make a deal work. After a short negotiation during my lunch break and some decision making, I called Robert Mayer in the morning and confirmed the purchase of a brand new Terrain. I love the vehicle and Robert is very helpful with features and knowledge of the vehicle he is selling. Overall an extremely pleasant experience dealing with everyone at Capitaland. George in financing was a wonderful guy and the two of them (George and Robert Mayer) work great as a team. Both myself and my father have purchased new GMC's and my mother is heading to see Robert pretty soon.

When buying my Subaru from Rob Mayer it was a smooth process. He was very understanding and went out of his way to please me. He was very knowledgable of the car i bought and he was very friendly. When financing with George he was very understanding of what i was talking about and he did everything to help me out the best he could and make my payments right for me. He knew the owner before me and he told me everything about what he did to the car. I definately reccomend these guys! I got a way better deal at Capitaland than i did at Goldstein! My husband and I walked into Capitaland Subaru on February 7th, 2013 after having left New Country in Saratoga Springs. We live in Saratoga so naturally went to New Country first. The experience was less than good. Although we made an appointment to test drive 2 cars 3 days earlier they were unable to find the keys we needed. They would also not give us an estimate on our trade in without knowing whether or not we were buying from them.... even a range in price. Nothing. We drove to Capitaland and met Robert Mayer. He was a very professional and friendly salesman. The facilities are clean and the atmosphere friendly, including the in-house cats. We had not really decided what we wanted for sure but Rob talked us through what we needed and wanted to spend suggesting we test drive a 2013 Subaru Legacy. Spectacular car, super smooth ride. He did not ride with us so we could look it over by ourselves in fact saying he 'trusted us' to bring it back. We negotiated a trade in value for our 2006 Acura and bought the car. This salesman is very easy to talk to and knows his inventory. We were in a rush to get back home and he accommodated our timeframe nicely. We are picking up the car tonight and I have no doubt that experience will be pleasurable as well. Kudos Rob. Job well done!
