We traded in our jeep 2 weeks ago for a Kia Forte. Our salesman Robert never called Partners federal credit union that day to get the correct payoff amount. I told him I didn't know what it was and he should call. So there was no "verbal" statement amount by us. Robert said don't worry if you owe more, Kia will take care of it and if we underestimated , we will send you a check. Two weeks later (today), I received a call from Robert and the Sales GM Jason , saying that the estimate was wrong/low and I owe them $999 and how would I like to pay for that cash, credit, or check. I was stunned and said you're calling me 2 weeks later and you never got the payoff amount while we were there so we could incorporate it into the loan and resolve it then and there. Then Jason says , it's in the contract would you like to review it? So I called Partners today and they said they just called for the payoff on 9/28, not 2 weeks ago when we were there on 9/16. So what Robert told us was a lie and they get you in the fine print . Very disappointed, very unprofessional. But of course, they don't think they did anything wrong. We told Robert before any of this that we were coming back to purchase another car for our daughter who's in college. We will never go back there. They clearly don't care about repeat, happy customers. I'm filing a complaint with the BBB and attorney generals office. And have already let friends/coworkers know how deceptive they are with their practices. I would never wish this upon anyone, including their own family members. It's a shame that something so simple couldn't have been taken care of and worked out for a buck. Disappointed in you boys.

Cornell Ricketts was introduced to me as a salesperson. I knew what I wanted we jusy had to find it. My purse was locked in my car, I was looking. Not liking hard sales, I told Cornell I was getting interested. Cornell walked with me, answered my questions, when he asked if I would like to test drive .."No". He never questioned me again. By the time I left, CORNELL RICKETTS had sold me my first NEW car no pressure, no money out of pocket, Yes Mam, No Mam, when I said my diabetic sugar had dropped, he offered a "real" coke. Cornell was patient, kind, had or found answers to my questions, never questioned my choices ... and during the week answered all my silly requests. Cornell Ricketts is, by far, one of the best salesman with real salesmanship qualities others could learn fromMy hat is off to you for courtesy, customer satisfaction and going that "extra" mile. Well Done!!

Kia Rio has a problem with the coils going out. Had to bring it in several times for them to be replaced, had to bring it in several times for other repairs because the did the repair wrong-time after time. Please don't get tied into this place.

I went to the dealership because my 2011 Kia Sorrento had a busted headlight socket. I went to an auto parts store earlier in the day and they quoted me $10 for the part but it would need to be ordered and it would take a week so i did not get if. I went to kia to see if they had it in stock. When i told the service manager the problem with the car he quoted me a price of over $700.00 for the entire assembly...even though i asked for only the harness. I told them to stuff it and fixed my car for $10. Stay far away from City Kia.

The reason I gave a 5 star rating is simply because at first, my expectations did not meet my financial ability. During the consultation, both sales agent and manager asked me a few questions to find what I will be able to afford. I am extremely grateful they were patient and provided outstanding customer service. For example, Hamza Ammor, took his time assisting me, even stopped by at the dealer on one of his days off to assist me with the new vehicle I purchased. I would also like to mention that Hamza Ammor and all the other employees at City Kia are great at walking with the customer during a purchase and following up. I bought a Kia Sorento 2 years ago at City Kia. Unfortunatly the phone customer service is the worst! I call then 10 days ago to make an appointment for oil change and to check for a recall and I was told that somebody from the service department will call me asap or send me an email. I never received the phone call, just received an email from Carlos Castillo stated that they want to help me with a pleasant purchase of a new vehicle. Total misscommunication! So, after this, I will go to another dealer.

I walked into Kia automatically assuming to be turned down. I didn't have a credit score, and 2 other dealerships already turned me away. I went in searching for an Optima with all of the options and specific color combination that I wanted. There were none in stock and there was an8-12 week wait to get the car the way I wanted it. Well, a car configured to my specifications came on to the lot a few days later! The salesperson I was working with had an eye out and immediately pulled the car for me. Needless to say, I ended up purchasing the car that day and for a great price! I hadn't bought a car in 20 years so this will definitely be my last car. The sales girl Diana was very polite and patient she helped me choose the right car that fit my budget and needs. It was a cash deal so it was very fast I didn't think it was possible to buy a car so fast. I went to City Kia not thinking I was going to buy anything, just to look. The first sales rep I had was just awful. He misquoted me prices, seemed bored and condescending, and generally came across shady and rude. We finally asked him to go away and they sent us out a different rep named Reuben. He was phenomenal! He made me feel 100% better, was easy to talk to, and didn't seem at all as intimidating and strange as car salesmen are made out to be. He fixed my experience completely and I left with a new 2014 Kia Sorento at a reasonable price with a good warranty. The Service Center doesn't have the best organization, fastest service, or highest customer care but they have helped me with any concern I have. I usually work with them through Reuben, it seems to get things moving a little faster. He is absolutely the best.

I knew nothing about the Kia cars when I arrived at the dealership and Will was able to answer all my questions that I had about the vehicle. We arrived at the dealership about 1 hour until close and he ended up staying with us an extra two hours after close to ensure we got the car we wanted and everything was transferred over from my trade-in vehicle. We arrive at the dealership, and was greeted by a salesperson Will, which show us what we was looking for he was great he found exactly what we was looking for.. Than as we all know what happens next, you seat down and talk numbers, well we talk and he went to speak with his Sales Manager, went the Sales Manager came to us he show us some numbers which was offensive, I new then that this was the wrong place to buy a new car!! The first offer was ridiculous and offensive!!! My credit rating for my wife was 825 and i was 825 also, for him to show us that try of offer!!!! was ridiculous and insulted!! We feel so bad for the salesperson who took care of us........... So we took off to a Jeep dealer and bought a 2016 Jeep Cherokee the very same day. because our credit rating was so good we had know problem getting in a new Jeep.

Three weeks ago a client of mine picked out a car here. I run a commercial leasing company. We would buy the car and lease it too our customer. Well after leaving messages for the sales manager, general manager, and finance manager, I still have not received a call. We have requested via email the paperwork we need to pay them, but have received nothing. I guess the common courtesy of a return phone call does not exist at this dealer. Stay clear of this dealer. The way they handle there business is questionable.

I needed a car when my old Kia after 11 years bit the dust. I recommend a KIA. It was reliable, mechanically sound, great warranty. I stopped at City Kia knowing I was subprime and would have difficulty getting a decent car, no lease for me. James known as JR. met with me and I never felt pressured. James and I walked around the lot to see what interested me and with friendly conversation it was clear I should look at used. My car had my name on it. It was a used low mileage 2015 Hyandai Elantra. We stepped inside to speak to Tom P. but I was still hesitant to start the financial deal and go down that road. I felt comfortable to start a soft credit inquiry after Tom explained the process and was straight forward with me. He came back with a fair price I was comfortable with, a comparitable price I found online (their was no need to leave).and Richard C finalized the paperwork. After Four hours I was driving my car off the lot, happy and smiling. It was an upfront no pressure, no hassle, no hidden charges, no hustle transaction. I never made it to my other Kia appointment.I texted Tom P the next day with additional questions I wasn't clear on and he replied the same day. I'm extremely happy with my purchase and will tell others to go see James & Tom for their next KIA.

I started shopping for new cars over a month ago. I first checked the websites for all the local KIa dealers in Orlando. Kia East, West and North did not disclose any prices for their new cars. I found this somewhat odd. I called Kia West first and asked about the Rio's MSRP. The sales person asked,"how much I was willing to spend?" I said $17,000. The sales person said that they have many choices starting at $17,000 MSRP. I said, that was too high. Within a matter of seconds the MSRP price was lowered to $15,600. The OTD would be over $18,000. I passed on KIa West.I got a True Car certificate from Kia East that started at $12,500 without the dealer add-ons. The add-ons were, Bug guard, Special exterior application, special interior application, helium filled tires, liner for the trunk and a few other useless items. Now the MSRP was $14,700. After other dealer fees, taxes, tag etc, The OTD price was $17,800. I asked them to take off the unnecessary items which would lower the price about $1700 dollars. They declined and so did I.I next looked at City Kia, which had all of the MSRP prices listed on their website. I contacted them and set up an appointment. Jose P. was excellent along with Tom P. They offered me a new Rio without all the extra useless add-ons for the OTD price that was $2700 less than any other dealers. If you are looking for a good deal it will be worth the effort to stop by City Kia.

I am a positive person. I preface this letter with this statement because I want you to know that the content of this letter is meant with positive intent, in hopes that it can effect change at your establishment.I purchased my Kia Soul from City Kia or Orlando two years ago in February. While I was reluctant to purchase a Kia, as all of my previous vehicles were Mercedes Benz, I connected with the style and performance of the Kia Soul. Today, I am rethinking this purchase, future Kia purchases, as well as any future business with City Kia of Orlando.A week ago I made an appointment online at www.citykia.com to have my car serviced at City Kia. I needed to complete an oil change and have some general maintenance done to my Kia Soul. I went into this appointment with positive expectations! Please allow me to recount my days experiences. I arrived at 12:58pm to City Kias service department. Outside of the Service Center, I saw two men who looked like employees with City Kia shirts on. One was sitting on a chair outside of the buildings doors and another was standing next to him. The two were engaged in a conversation. When I pulled up, I wasnt sure how to proceed. I knew that I made an appointment for 1:00pm, but there was no direction as to what should happen next. I waited in my car for a few minutes, fully expecting a service associate to approach my vehicle. Nobody approached, or even seemed to recognize the fact that I pulled up.Not wanting to be late for my 1:00pm appointment, I got out of my car and approached the two young men in front of the service center in shirts that looked like uniforms. I waited to see if they would conclude their conversation, or at the very least, acknowledge my presence in front of them. Neither of these things occurred. I waited a minute or two and then interrupted their conversation by politely saying with a smile, Hello! I have a service appointment! The gentlemen both looked me up and down and the one sitting down motioned wordlessly to the two glass doors outside of the building. Perhaps it was beyond him to utter words to me, a lowly female customer. I took from the motion towards the doors that I should enter. So I entered the City Kia Service department, which was bustling! Upon entering, I looked around to attempt to decipher where I should go and what I should do. There was a female receptionist to my right who stared at me, but did not acknowledge my presence or offer assistance. I stared around the service department confused for 5-10 minutes before finally asking the young lady what I needed to do. She looked up from her desk, apparently bothered by my question and told me that I needed to speak to a tech and she motioned towards the other side of the room. Looking over, I saw a few men in Kia shirts who were busy staring at computers, on the phone, speaking to each other, and one who was actually helping another customer. Rather than feeling welcomed to this establishment - I felt as if I was a burden. This is not a warm welcome for someone who arranged an appointment ahead of time! Finally I was acknowledged by a new hire who took my keys, took information from my vehicle and sat down with me to discuss what would occur during the visit. I originally wanted just an oil change, but the gentleman suggested the Every 15,000 - 45,000 - 75,000 Miles Package. This cost $159.95 + Tax. I agreed to this price, based on the gentlemans suggestion about tire rotation and the miles already on my vehicle. Though I didnt know it at the time, these few moments were the longest human interaction I would have while at City Kias Service department. He quoted about two hours for the service package we discussed. I noticed that the last thing included in the package was a Platinum Car Wash Package. I asked the gentleman about the car wash and he informed me that it would take an extra hour to wash my car. I agreed to this - three hours in total was alright for me, as long as I could work from the waiting lobby on the wifi provided.I spent 90 minutes waiting for my vehicle before I was called to the reception desk with a few other customers. The gentleman who called us over began charging the customers in line ahead of me for their service and handing them their paperwork. When it was my turn, he informed me that my car was not in fact washed. I expressed my disappointment in this, as this was my second visit to City Kia for an oil change and it was the second time they had a reason for not being able to wash my vehicle. He apologized and explained something about construction that was preventing the car wash. He walked away for a moment and then came back and asked me to return tomorrow for my car wash. He also gave me a 15% discount on the service provided. He asked me how I wanted to pay, gave me a total and promptly charged my card. He then stapled my receipts together, handed me my paperwork and my keys and told me I was all set. I asked him how my car was, and he said, Everything ok!I then looked outside and saw my vehicle pulled up and no employees in sight. When I opened the door to my car, the first thing I noticed was a half full can of Diet Coke in my cupholder. I saw this and found it odd as I do not drink soda, neither diet soda. As it was not there when I left my car initially, I can only conclude that it belonged to the technician who serviced my car. I found this gross, sloppy and a sign of disrespect. Do your technicians all drink sodas in customers vehicles? Is this normal protocol? I wonder if anything is ever spilled in a customers vehicle? This cant be a best practice. I briefly reviewed the paperwork that was given to me and looked for evidence that my car had even been serviced. I saw that the paperwork detailed how there was a full service car wash and separately detailed that the dashboard was wiped down and the windshield was cleaned. I looked up and saw the same smudges and smears on my windshield that were their before I dropped off the car and the dash was not at all wiped down. It puzzled me as to why it was on my bill and yet was not preformed. I also wondered if the closed car wash really effectively prevented the technician from wiping my dashboard or windshield. Because I had an errand to run just down the street, I left City Kia disgruntled, but distracted. After taking care of a short errand, I got back to my car and reviewed the bill one more time. I was so uneasy about the experience I just had. I wasnt convinced anyone had really serviced my car - the only proof I had was a coke can left in my cupholder. I also searched my windshield for the sticker that indicates when my next service appointment should be and found there was none. The old sticker I had from City Kia was removed, and never replaced with a new one. I imagine this must have been an indication that they didnt want me to return to their establishment. Nobody on the staff walked me to my car. Nobody on the staff went over the paperwork from my cars maintenance. Nobody on the staff explained what happened during my service appointment. After thinking through my experiences, I was even more upset. I even began to wonder if there was any service done to my vehicle at all! I called City Kia to discuss my concern. The first call I made was placed on speakerphone and nobody answered the call. I could hear the voice of a young lady in the background and kept saying Hello? with no response from the young lady. I hung up and called back. The second time I called, I was placed on hold without a greeting. When the young lady got back to my call three minutes later, I asked to speak to a supervisor and she transferred me to a voicemail. I left a message for a call back. I look forward to hearing back from my voicemail. Dissatisfied with leaving just a voicemail, I drove back to City Kia and asked for a supervisor when I entered the Service Center. Jose R. Martinez, the Assistant Service Manager came out to speak with me. I asked him if we could go someplace to speak and he insisted we stand in the middle of the Service Center to speak. I detailed my experiences and dissatisfaction with the lack of customer service. Jose asked me for more information, walked away for sometime, I think to speak to the Service Manger. I overheard something to the effect of she already paid for it, and Jose returned to me and escorted me outside of the Service Center. I felt like I was being kicked out. He asked me where my car was and we began to walk towards it, he told me that he wanted to remove the can of soda that was in my car. I told him that while I found it disgusting, I had already done so myself. He then apologized for what occurred and offered a free oil change. A free oil change - a $19.95 value does not resolve the fact that I paid more than $150.00 for a lackluster service appointment already. He also offered to take the car back to clean the windshield again. I corrected him, explaining that it was never done in the first place. He then replied, to clean it better this time. This indicates that he did not even believe that his technician never cleaned my windshield or dash in the first place! Is it routine for your employees to dispute details with customers? I told him that I did not have time for this and it was too little, too late. As we wrapped up, he gave me his business card.I had to remind Jose that I needed to know when to return for additional service as there was no sticker indicator on my windshield. Jose went to get a printed sticker and came to my car to place it on my windshield. As he was walking away, I had to ask him to explain to me what happened with my car during the service appointment. He stopped and read through the paperwork to explain to me what occurred. He then and spent two minutes making recommendations about what may need to be serviced next and what to expect going forward. I thanked Jose for the time he spent speaking with me as if I was a real human being and a valued customer. I told him that those few moments are all I really needed at the end of my appointment to ensure I understood what transpired with my vehicle. This is a basic thing I took for granted when receiving service from other dealerships in the past. While Jose offered apologies for what occurred, he did not show real concern or even surprise over my experiences. This leads me to believe that this poor service is the standard rather than the exception at City Kia. I do not see the value in the money that I paid, nor do I feel like things are recouped by providing one complimentary oil change at a future date. At this point, I am unsure that I would return to City Kia for any further service. I am sad to report from experience that the Service Center at City Kia is an anti-service, in fact a disservice establishment. I would rather spend money at a place where I know I will feel there is value added by the human interaction and customer service provided. Kias Core Values are not represented at City Kias Service department. It is clear that at City Kia they do not embrace those Core Values about impeccable service to their customers. I need for there to be change within City Kias Service department. I need for there to be major customer service training provided to the team. They do not work together and they do not respect their customers. Without customers, there is no business to be had. I would like to know that City Kia can compensate me by providing more than a complimentary oil change. Since value placed on service is not a priority to City Kia, I would expect to receive a credit for the service that I paid for today as a good faith gesture in hopes that I return for future business. I look forward to hearing from you about this incident and what you plan to do to resolve these heinous customer service issues.

Because of the negative reviews I found online (here), this was my second place to visit. I started at another Orlando area dealer, and after that deal fell through, I came here. I walked in with a TrueCar quote, and my salesmen honored the price. The process was quick, the staff friendly, and we were treated with respect. I don't know what's with the negative reviews, but I can tell you we had a good experience. Do yourself a favor and give these guys a chance.

This was not only the easiest buy also the fastest experience ever. I called and spoke to Tom Paine and told him I wanted his best price on a Kia Soul. He gave me the price and it was more than $1000 less than I got at Orlando Kia. He had the car ready, honored his price and had me driving my new car in under 30 minutes. All dealers should make it this easy.

I purchased my Optima two years ago at City Kia and experienced high pressure sales at its finest. After walking away purchasing a vehicle same day that was not in love with I realize now what a mistake was made. First I expressed extreme concern that any vehicle i purchased must not have been a previous rental. Since the salesman "forgot" to provide me with carfax the Finance manager did. (salesman already told me it wasn't a previous rental) So I flip through the 5 page report where it is indicated that the vehicle has one prior owner and a rental name was not disclosed the first page very clearly shows that no issues, damages or auto accidents are in this Vehicles history. I walked away with a car i liked and did not love. 4 hours Later and a very hungry toddler who was no longer satisfied with the skittle machine we drove away. Days later I am reviewing my car fax with my husband and we discover that the very last page of the carfax (the pages were out of order, and the last page only had a few lines at the top which were concealed by the staple where it showed in fact my car was a previous rental. I was fuming, I did call them back and basically was offered to come back and in and they would sell me a brand new one. LOL, sure xxxxxxxx! 3 Months after I purchased my car I took it in for an assessment on my tires as my "low pressure" indicator was coming on. It was then that I was told by the service department that I needed 4 new tires. They were blissfully unaware that I had only purchased my car 3 months before. So I told them to please review my account and put safe tires on the car that City Kia so proudly sold me just months before. They told me they could not verify my driving habits and it was possible for tire tread to diminish in that amount of time. Flash forward two years and we are now expecting out 4th child and are in need of an SUV. My husband and I landed ourselves at another dealership to trade in my car which I am not upside-down in mind you and when they bring back the auto check report an accident is showing 10/11 hmm, one year prior to my purchasing this vehicle from City Kia. Because of that accident which Ford will have to disclose to their buyer my vehicle no longer holds its value and I am not $3,000 upside-down. I have no doubt since Kia purchased my car directly from the rental agency that knew my car was wrecked I know that they sold me the car knowing it was wrecked and bc the car fax hid it they did not disclose. Dont shop there.

Will not recommend Kia or their services to anyone. Worst service - what ever happened to the Kia Loyalty treatment. I have owned 4 vehicles to date and have recommended numerous customers who have purchased vehicles. I am ashamed that I recommended them to such a bad company with very little customer service skills. I will no longer recommend customers or purchase anymore vehicles from a corporation such as Kia.

I went there a few weeks ago and RUDY greeted me and he was very patient. I knew exactly what i wanted. He will go to lengths to get what he can for his customers even if it means dealing with the head sharks (sales managers) but he got me into a 2013 optima sxl white omg i dont even miss my mercedes. Bty they still have one on the showroom floor in black u have to go test drive it. They were able to get me a payment i needed and the term i wanted. Linda the asst general manager she makes sure her customers are happy and i was surprised because you usually cant even talk to a gm. Joe oneiil is nice and knowledgable but he is in car service dept now. Dont focus on the bad and go give RUDY a chance. I love my car. Can i say $9.95 oil changes!!!!!! Can i day 100,000 mile warranty good credit bad credit go today!!!

James was experienced salesmen answer all our questions about kia soul we purchased stay late showed us how everything worked in auto no pressure, friendly, didnt force us in more expensive veh. we set out to purchase explained the difference in ride between 2013 to 2014 could have tried to make more money selling us more expensive veh. honest polite funny now we will see how the rest of the dealership reacts after we purchased veh. service etc. manager was very nice to gave us some free bees, great experience.

I went to this dealer to purchase a Kia, I walked in, was greeted immediately by a sales person, who then told me that I have to do a test drive. He was very nice got all of my information, and asked what I was interested in getting, I explained I want a small car, economical in gas, and a payment of $200 or less. We test drove the Kia Rio. I was told the system was down so they could not tell me if I was approved, he would call me later in the day. Two days past then on day 3 I received a call, I was approved for $195 per month. I was very excited. I come out of work, go to the dealer, which is almost 8 miles away from my home. I arrive at the dealer and I wait and wait and wait. Then comes the sales person, brings me outside to tell me that I was approved for $195 a month for a Pontiac, that looked exactly like the car I was driving, same color, same body, except mine is 1995 and that was a 2004. I was so upset that this sales person deceived me in telling me I was approved for the car I test drove, and I drove 8 miles, for nothing, wasted gas. Then he insisted I test drive a car that was 6 cyl just like mine, I said how am I going to save gas if I am basically going to drive the same thing I have, and how dare he not tell me that I was not approved for the car I actually test drove. I told him he wasted my gas and time, if he would of told me it was another car, I would of not wasted my time. After expressing how I felt, I was just left standing outside for over 20 minutes, and I just left.I would not recommend this place to anyone, they are in the business of deceiving people, just to make some commission. Then the sales person has the nerve to call me a couple of days letter, to tell me he did not know it was approved for a different car, seriously because I am a women he just thought I was stupid. Worst dealership ever!!!!

BUYER BEWARE----BAIT & SWITCH PRICING PRACTICED HERE! Please, please, please, whatever you do....DO YOUR HOMEWORK! I did not and got screwed on pricing and options and the staff here could care less and will not go out of their way for their customers to right a wrong! The price on their websites and advertisements are NOT the same as the price listed on the vehicles on the lot! Compare pricing with other dealers BEFORE coming here and make sure you know what product you are shopping for and what price it should be before hand! I can almost guarantee that you will find a better deal elsewhere! The finance dept will use pressure to try to get you to purchase extended warranties....not a very nice man in my opinion, and the sales manager is a complete waste as far as being able to help anyone, customer service overall was lax and disinterested. I do like my little Kia Soul, just wish I could have purchased it without getting taken for a ride...I hope this post will save others from the same fate! This was an impulse buy and not one I had taken alot of time to investigate.... my fault, but I would expect fair pricing from a dealer. That is not something you will find here! I have learned many lessons from this experience and will not allow myself to be taken advantage of again in the future, nor will I ever return to buy another car from City Kia in Orlando!

The salesperson, Marilyn, was very nice, very attentive, and very professional until it was clear that the sale was made. Then she basically rushed me out of the parking lot with my new car. I can deal with that. The sales manager (Richard?) sold me "Gap Insurance" which added $600 to the price of the vehicle, which he attempted to hide by changing the length of the contract. He then tried to assure me I could cancel the insurance if I wanted to. What he DIDN'T say was was that the $600 was added to the principle of the car loan, and therefore, cancelling it would have no effect on the monthly payment. That means I'll never recover that money, and there's no point in cancelling it. Ok - So I got taken. DON'T LET IT HAPPEN TO YOU!

We were just about to purchase a car from them, but said we needed a day to think about it and look over the deal they were offering us. The manager then asked us what it would take to get us in that car today. So we offered a really low ball offer, we were very impressed with the deal we had been offered but just needed a day to think it over. Once we offered the low ball offer more of a hey this is what we would be comfortable with today, but we are going to be back. The manager stormed off in a fit of rage and threw a tantrum like a 3 year old. We will NEVER go back to this dealership no matter how good the offer is.

Do NOT waste your time or your MONEY. Worst people my father and I worked with. We had gone to a few dealers, including carmax, everyone else was friendly, asked our questions, and showed us what we wanted even though we told them that we would not be buying that day. The salesman would not stop talking. My cousin and I were looking at a 2013 Rio, and we had not just sat in the car when he had already got the key and the tag and asking if we wanted to take it for a test drive. Mind you that I am 19 and she is only 18 and my father was on the other side of the lot and hers had yet to meet us. I told him NO and said that the windows were too tiny on it. My uncle came by and they milled around until they got fed up with their salesperson while the sales guy focused on my dad and me. We told him that I wanted a sedan that had good gas economy, was reliable, safe, and inexpensive. We were fine with new or used since anything was better that what I was driving before. He then sat me into a 2013 new Kia Forte SX, I said that the windows were better but this was NOT what I wanted. He then said that they only had a few used cars, and conveniently only one sedan; a 2012 Kia Forte for which was priced at 22,500. Remember that's BEFORE dealer fees, taxes, etc. My father then asked what kind of deals they had going on and such and the guy said that a test drive was 'mandatory' before any dealing. So he finally got me to drive a car. And he almost got me to WRECK a car because he spent more time listing off as many of the stupid gadgets in the thing than actually telling me where to go and where to turn. I'm not from Orlando, I don't know where anything is. When he started talking about the shift, and how it could be switched from auto to manual, and vice versa, he reached BETWEEN the SEATS (dad sitting shotgun, guy in the back) and MESSED with it WHILE I WAS DRIVING. So finally after that we get back on the lot and he talks about the safety of the car. (he FINALLY listened to us!) We go inside and he collected our info, and had us sign a paper giving them permission to do background/credit checks. He then wrote his own line on the paper and said 'Initial here saying that if we come to an agreement today you'll buy the car.' I said no, that we were still looking. His response; 'Well if you like the car and like the price, what's stopping you?' I said NO. And he went and got his manager who FINALLY gives us the bottom-line. No, there are no deals, and the monthly payments would be at least $300. Unless he could find something used. (Even though the car in question was already USED) We left. My cousin and her father had an equally horrible experience. They asked their sales guy what exactly was included in the bumper-to-bumper warranty. The man gave the run-around and just kept saying 'everything that makes the car move' as if it was a bad parody of one of those CarFax commercials. The ONLY upside is that they (the salespeople) at least are rehearsed well and know about their cars and tried to be friendly. At least until we walked onto the lot. My father and I ended up buying from a Kia Dealership closer to home that knows how to treat it's customers.

Visited City Kia and salesman Jimmy S. twice. First time to check out the (new to me) Optima SX. Drove it and loved it, I was impressed, but also wanted to check the Acura ILX, and Honda Accord.I decided the Optima SX would be the car for me. Spoke with Jimmy on the phone and set up an appointment to get a trade price for my 2010 GTI and also, since I had no experience with Navigation, I wanted an explanation of it and how to use it. Sounds like a simple task for a car dealer!?! Well my appointment did not go well. Jimmy spent a lot of time fumbling and trying to figure out how to program the Navigation system. After about twenty minutes I could see this was a waste of time. We went back into the dealership and no one had even looked at my GTI to give me a trade price. This prearranged appointment was a complete waste of time!! I left. No one from the dealership ever contacted me again - probably for the best because they seem to lack basic car selling skills.I winter in Florida - summer in Wisconsin. I purchased my last two cars in Florida for cash, but when I returned to Wisconsin for the summer I visited a wonderful Kia dealership in Madison, WI. traded my GTI on a 2013 Optima SX. I found the Navigation system to be simple and easy to use.The Optima is an impressive car. City Kia lost a sale because they did not know their product and could not provide a most basic dealer activity, come up with a trade price.

I contact the dealer on Monday and Talked t Jeremy. I wanted to be sure if I came in from Kissimmee on the bus that I would be leaving in a vehicle. Jeremy guaranteed that this would happen. Came in today(Wednesday) I was looking at 3 different models and Jeremy was able to get me into a new Kia Forte with no pressure and held to his promise. He was very concerned and was more than willing to ensure I would get a good vehicle to fit my needs. After filling out all the paperwork, he was able to get a clear idea of what vehicle I could get and picked out a very nice one. I was totally impressed with his service and professionalism. Even the Finance specialist Dustin was quick and to the point and kept my monthly payments right within my requested range. This dealership has an easy going and relaxed environment as you could see how all the personnel there had huge smiles and always talked to you while you were waiting.I would never go to Kia of Orlando because they tell you one thing on the phone and then cannot keep their promise. City Kia is just the opposite. What they tell you on the phone is the truth and do not push you into buying something you do not want.I have been buying cars for many years and by far this has been the nest experience I have had with a dealership and Jeremy was a model to all over sales personnel tr follow.

Do not deal with this dealership. My husband and i went to talk to Henry about trading in a car. He talked to us for an hour and told us he would chexk on our trade in and call us back in the morning. The car we wanted to trade in was not running and he has to check with the service department about getting a part. Its almost a week later and we still have not heard from him. I left him a voicemail and sent him an email and said if he couldnt help us to at least have the courtesy to let us know. Nothing. He hid from my phone calls and never returned an email. If he would have told us he couldnt help us he would have found out we would have bought a Kia anyway.....which we did at Orlando Kia East. And we are buying another Kia in a few months and it will not be from Henry. What kind of customer service is this? They are a disgrace to car dealers and i will never do business with them again, and dont get me started on their service department. Go to any KIA dealee in Orlando except city Kia.....avoid them at all costs.

Went to trade a truck in ... and they low balled the truck for trade in they offered only 11,000 also wanted 5000 down on a 18,000 Kai Soul, Orlando East Kia they gave me 16,000 for the truck ...with 2000 Down Orlando Kia East was able to do what City Kia could not .... this is reason they have so many cars BECAUSE they can't get the deal done ...Go To Orlando Kia EAst West Colional

DONT EVEN WASTE YOU TIME!!!.Take my word for it, as a top salesman myself over 25 years,this is the kind of dealership that gives salespeople a bad name aka sleezball salespeople!Arogant salespeople and sales manager,NO follow up or calls back,even though we were ready to buy 2 brand new vehicles TODAY,and when we did chase THEM down to get best possible price on 2 new vehicles for cash 4 days after our visit,we were treated with 0 respect and almost as if THEY were doing us a favor for even talking to us!!When we made a legit offer on the 2 new cars,asking them to match another dealers price,we were told to go buy elsewhere then!!So we Called Clarence at Gatorland Kia in Gainsville Florida,and made a deal on 2 new vehicles over the phone and gladly traveled the 200 miles to receive the ROYAL TREATMENT from this great group of salespeople!!In fact,have since sent them 2 new customers.Shame on you City Kia.AWFUL business practices and "good luck to you all".I would go out of my way to tell every client I have to travel to Gatorland Kia of Gainsville,Florida if you want to be treated with utmost respect and get your best price on a super vehicle.I will also do the same to steer people away from your business.Your sales manager needs to go back to school to learn how to treat customers and your whole arogant staff needs to learn some lessons in manners and follow-up.The worst experience EVER in 30 years of car buying.SHAME ON YOU ALL!!!!

I had narrowed my new car choices to a 2010 Honda Insight Hybrid, 2010 Kia Soul and 2011 Hyundai Tucson. I started with the Honda dealership and kept an open mind. I moved across the street to City Kia to test the Soul. City Kia had a very LIMITED selection of Soul's. They did not have all the colors and they did not have all models with all the upgrade packages / accessories. I think they had all of 5 Soul's on the lot. My first impression of the dealer was not the greatest when after the initial hello's the sales rep asked if I wanted new or used? Not to gloat about my personal finances but let's just say I would NEVER lower myself to buy a used car. That's something for less-desirable folk! So then I asked about a black or green Kia Soul, which I did not see, on the lot. They had no green and only 1 black. OK fair enough, they could have sold off the others but when I saw the sticker price I was shocked to find the black one was $5000 more than any other Kia Soul on the lot. When I asked why he said because of all the upgrades. When I asked him to explain the upgrades he had to refer to the window sticker and read the list. Considering there are only 5 on the lot and this was the only one with all these upgrades that wasn't very professional! Considering 4 were the same and 1 had all the bells and whistles the sales rep should have known the difference. Especially since some of the upgrades were obvious like a sunroof, body kit, etc. During the test drive the sales rep was very quiet. He answered my questions but did not ask me anything. He did not ask my opinion of the car, the engine performance or anything. Finally, I liked the Kia Soul but noticed that the one in the showroom had even more upgrades but was less expensive. When I questioned him on this he said that they did many of these upgrades such as adding the leather seats on their own, not from the factory. That didn't add up because upgrades, whether after market or not, are still upgrades meaning it should have been more expensive. I wasn't impressed with the dealer mostly because of the limited selection, the lack of color choices and the lack of model variation. Although they did have 5 on the lot, 4 were exactly the same, only 1 (the black one) had all the upgrades / options.
