I have been going to Toyota since I brought my Camry 2011. Service has been acceptable 90% of the time. However, it appears that a "rotten egg" can always be in the mix. I took my car in because the tire pressure light came on in august and again last week. First time they did nothing but told me I needed new tires. I knew that was not the case. They turned the light off, well it came on again last Monday, because they did nothing but turn it off last time I drove over 80 miles to work everyday M thur Th and took the car in on Friday. Danny's big effort on my behalf was to try to prove to me that he was the expert(AFTER ALL HE HAD 35 YEARS IN THE BUSINESS) and I was a fool. He said that the tire tread had nothing to do with the air pressure light. I told him last time I was in that their solution was to buy new tires. He said their was no connection between low tread and buying new tires. He kept telling me that the tire pressure light comes on and off all the time. I said why in the first 87,000 miles that did not happen, he said simply that it did. He asked me if I knew what the gauge looked like. Well that was why I was in the service dept. I explained to him that it was red and looked like and (!) and he told me that it was not red, that it was amber. I could not believe anyone could be so petty. I was very upset at the way he was talking to me, so I said stop write it up and lets see if we can see why the air pressure light is staying on. He got back to me, and told me I needed to replace my tires all of them for $850, yet previously he told me the air pressure gauge was not related to the thread on the tires. However now he wanted to sale be new very expensive tires, but had no solution for the tire air pressure gunge staying light. I knew at this point that he was a very arrogant and nasty person was trying to cheat me and was being very devious. I went to a couple of folks at Toyota who were in management who agreed with me that he was inappropriate. Also I went to Costco and asked their advice, they asked the age of the car and said the air pressure gauge battery was probably getting low in one of the tires and needed to be checked. sure enough the tire with the low air pressure had a low battery. The service worker even showed me a diagram and explained in detail. What an enlightment, someone could tell me why my air pressure light was coming on and staying on. They said my tires were not in exceptional need of changing, that I could probably get another 10,000 miles safety out of the back, but the front should be changed in 5,000 miles, but when I asked for the top of the line tires ,their quote was $250 less than Toyota. It was the same brand that Toyota was offering. Again, what a mess. I brought the new tires because I have lots of obligations and could not be coming back and forth. I have liked a lot about Toyota in Claremont, yes I would go back, but I would not get anywhere near this Dan Serrato. He is not a nice person. He just wants to proof that he is right, now solve the questions problems or answer the questions appropriate. Honestly I think that man should be written-up and sent to customer service training. Love my camry and Peter the sales person who sold it to me. So, yes I would still go back.

No BS. I was in the market for the new 2017 Tacoma TRD Pro. After calling 22 dealers from ventura county down to pomona and claremont, i got a hold of Raffi Hattar down at Claremont Toyota. We agreed to a price over the phone. a really good one for the truck i wanted which was so hard to find...so i gave a deposit.I was skeptical the entire month waiting for the truck to get there, ( i dont trust car dealers WHATSOEVER) I walked in to a suprise. Omar took me on a test drive, and helped me out beginning the paperwork. On paper was exactly what we agreed upon over the phone. Omar and Raffi really really really impressed me. Raffi Hattar is a man of his word!!! Gave me a great deal on the truck, Omar was awesome!, and Jaun in financing gave me a deal i would be stupid not to take on an extended warranty even! Come to Claremont Toyota for your next Toyota and ask for Raffi, Omar, and Juan! Thanks guys!!!!!!

I got a good car but salesperson Stephen did not disclose that there is only one remote for the car until after the negotiations. He then told us that he will ask the used car manager to call the previous owner.. The remote battery only lasted for one day and then it died. I had to use the manual key for a week while I wait for the new batteries that I ordered to arrive. Got a letter from the customer relations manager stating, feel free to contact him. Called but did not get a response. I will not buy another car from this dealership again

This was our second time getting our car serviced and both times we made an appointment. Don't bother making an appointment because they will see you when they see you. The first time we had a 7:30am appointment and until my husband asked them what was going on and by that time it was past 10:00am. My husband left and applied the bumper guard himself. This morning we have an appointment at 8:00am and once again it is past 9:00am and still no one has called him in. Both appointments he was there thirty minutes early. My husband has asked someone and stated that we have an appointment and they said we did not have an appointment. I quickly went on my email took a picture of the confirmation and he showed it to them and it was like oh well it doesn't show here. That's ridiculous and so unprofessional. My family and I are strictly a Toyota Family BUT, we will NEVER buy a vehicle from the Claremont Toyota dealership. If you want unprofessional, rude, snobby, entitled personality, and can give a xxxx about their customers, please visit them other wise please go to the West Covina Toyota. I've purchased another vehicle from them and no hassle and very professional, its all about the customer. Their service, WOW Amazing, you make an appointment to have your vehicle serviced and they take you in within 10 minutes. They are kind, friendly, professional, respectful of you and your time, and just the overall customer service is outstanding. My husband and I will also be writing the main corporate office and CEO of Toyota. There needs to be some regional manager or supervisor to go undercover to shop them and see and hear for themselves.

I bought my Toyota Camery from this dealership. I cant explain how i am satisfy with the customer service and the price. The Sales Manager Mr. Mohamed Mostafa was so honest and polite. He treated me very well and provided me with best discount possible. He was indeed a very professional sales person. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to buy Toyota Car.

My parents were going to purchase a car earlier in the week. They were handed a piece of paper (that they still have) with a price of $26,500 for a "fully loaded" car. They said they wanted their son (me) to look at the deal before buying it. I went there 2 days later to confirm the deal. Not only was the car not "fully loaded" but the manager shows me an invoice stating the dealer cost is over $27,000. He wanted to start negotiations from $27,000 and above or he says he loses money on the vehicle. My parents were lied to earlier in the week about the car and the price. My father is 79 years old and I wanted to make sure he wasn't being taken advantage of. Turns out, he was (and myself as well!). These people should be put out of business. The city of Claremont deserves better. I saw 2 managers that day, and both of them said the same thing to me. I crumpled up the invoice, asked him to give us the price he originally offered my parents, they refused, and we walked out. I am a physician and took time out of my day, which was wasted on these very inconsiderate people. I urge everyone to stay away from this Dealership....

Caroline Amaya honestly changed my life by helping me finance a car. I was taking the bus and taxis even and all i needed was someone to take a chance on me and help me into a vehicle! She was honest, sincere, and friendly. She made me feel comfortable and not intimidated by all the things that go into getting a car. I totally recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking for a high quality car and great service and deals!!! I even got a free pumpkin since its October! :-)

3 hours for an oil change???? Don't call me and tell me the car will be ready in 15 minutes then have me wait another 2 hours. They also said I had a nail in a tire that couldn't be patched. I definitely will not be coming back to get a new tire. They put the spare on but the tire light is still on. It's a full size spare so I'm assuming it should be off. Of course no one was there to explain that to me. I would most definitely recommend going somewhere else even if it's farther away. I know I will next time.

Tried to work with Bruce many times on the phone to find the car I wanted (color, specs) for a decent price. We finally agreed on the price, but he couldn't find my car. After weeks of waiting, I called and asked for a new salesperson. The new guy found me a call within days. However, when I showed up to pay for the car, Bruce had failed to document the negotiated price. The new salesman even showed me the logs, which said things such as: "Called Customer to discuss price", but then it didn't show what they price was! Therefore, they were asking for $4,000 more than what was agreed upon. After they threw in a bunch of extras, I finally caved.

1) We went in to get a car for our 18 yr. old daughter. Sales man, Calvin, did not show our daughter in detail all the different functions of the car, and, my husband, actually, test drove the car, with my daughter in the back seat, and, Calvin (sales man) in the front seat. very unprofessional!2) Financial advisor (Mohamed) showed us the purchase price, and, the outrageous, unbelievable, interest rate/finance charges (19.99 percent, annual percentage rate), of the car. Mohamed misinformed us of how our mtly. payment would be applied to the loan. Then, the following day, i was informed by the finance manager (Cindy), how our mtly. payment would, ACTUALLY be applied. Therefore, we signed a contract under false pretenses. (financed amount is 13, 412.00, finance charges is 9,990.00)3) The car was handed over to us with an empty gas tank, and, was told, they would take care of us. Which never happened. 4) Our daughter had her heart set on the car, plus, according to the finance advisor, and, manager, after making our payments, on time, for a yr, we can go back and refinance at a lower, 6 percent, annual percentage rate. So, that is what motivated us to sign the contract, in order to get the car.*WORST car buying experience, ever*

5 years ago, I tried to buy a vehicle from them (Highlander Hybrid) and couldn't get anyone to return my calls. So I called JOHN ELWAY Toyota and was taken care ofminside of an hour. Completely painless and efficient. Now... I'm back for more. Gave them a shot (I live in Claremont) to see if things have changed. I explained from the outset that I wasn't interested in the playing the "game" with them. Bottom line it for me.... They refused (passively). So... I bottom lined it for them. (They tacked on $5k to the sticker. GOOD IDEA in this economy!). My offer was STICKER. Dead silence. Not a well run outfit

I am a grad student at a local CSU campus. I applied for the college rebate program which included graduate studies. They told me an AA degree is worth more than graduate work and my grad studies would not apply. The finance person, David, was extremely rude and loudly told me, "Maam, you don't qualify. Give it up!" This person didn't even know the rules for this program. I had to read the exact words from the Toyota web site explaining how grad work counts. I will tell friends and family not to go to this dealer. I can't believe they sell any cars. I am insulted that my graduate studies at a local CSU are not qualified even thought the Toyota website states that graduate studies will qualify for a rebate. I am even more shocked at how well qualified customers (818 credit score) are treated like dirt. Guess they don't get many highly educated and well qualified buyers.

I have bought 4 cars from this dealership. The first 2 times I had a great experience. I worked with the internet / fleet manager who is now gone. I used to be able to complete entire process with one person then finance, no pressure, honest easy to work with. Now they have 2 sales mgr goons who will lie to you and try to intimidate and strong arm you. If you do buy here make sure you read all of the final paperwork very carefully before signing. Finance person was actually very helpful when I had question about suspicious numbers and all but admitted that the sales manager was trying to cheat me on my trade-in. I will never go back to this dealership. The internet manager that I worked with was actually very helpful, but it seemed he did not have the authority to approve a deal.

I had an excellent experience with the purchase of my new 2011 Tundra. The entire transaction was flawless! 'Zupe', the fleet manager matched the price I received from another dealership but got me the exact color I wanted (the other dealership would not do this). Cindy in finance completed all the paperwork in a fast and efficient manner. The entire process from when I walked in the door until I was driving away was just under 2 hours! A++++ and 2 thumbs up!!!

READ the paper before you buy - $2000 ag srv (agent service fee?) for a used car? Please tell them to go back and fix the number - only pay what you are legally required to pay: sales price, tax, and fees. Also, there will be discrepancy between internet advertised price and dealership price, bring all your research with you.Good luck.

This is the worst dealership... I talked with them several times before going to their location but there was no one to give attention to customers.. They lied on phone for offers and APR and when I went to their place they changed their statements. Full of crap and BS.. It seems like smoking and chatting with each other is more important than taking care of customer. There was no toilet paper and towel in restrooms.. And no cups for drinking water... They don't deserve my bussiness.... But if you want to waste your time and money than they are top in the list...

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM!!!They treat you like an animal! They play hide and seek games, force you to buy the car when you are not 100% sure if you want it or not. I know most of dealers are all liars, but people here in Claremont Toyota are even worse because they lie to you and TRICK you! If you really want to buy Toyota, go find a better place or you will regret! Don't be fooled by their free oil change!

He is a fleet sales person. I requested a quote and I responded back to him that their dealership was one of the highest quotes! He responded with who ever gave me a lower quote was quoting an "Add Car". I then asked him so are you saying that when we request a quote on line we are actually purchasing an "Add Car"? He then responded extremely nasty and had the nerve to say they are number 1 in customer service. I wrote an email in hopes that it reaches his manager. I would NOT recommend this dealership. After spending over 3 hours at this dealership, we came to an agreement on the vehicle we wanted to purchase, which the dealer was going to get from another dealer. We were not able to take the car home with us that evening but they said it would be delivered the next day. After we made arrangements to sell our car, they called and told us the vehicle we agreed to was no longer available and could not find us another one.We left a deposit check on hand, which they refused to return via secure mail. They offered to use regular mail, which can not be tracked. The dealer did not care at all that we were inconvenienced or that they had lost a customer. This was the worst customer experience I have had.

I bought a certified used car from these people. They gave me FREE OIL CHANGES FOR LIFE!!!! Awesome, right? I'm gonna break it down real fast for you.1. If you stay and wait for your oil change (even if you make an appointment) it will take you 3 1/2 hours to get out of there. They will never come find you and tell you they are sorry it is taking so long. They will leave you and hide themselves so that you cannot find them and you're left there completely helpless until the Gods decide to buzz your pager and let you out of that hell hole.2. If you drop your car off and take the shuttle home and tell them you need to be picked up at 2:00, they will not show up on time. When you call to ask them why, they will tell you they make no guarantees about pick up times and then they will show up at least an hour late. They want you to fold on your FREE OIL CHANGES FOR LIFE deal. They want to make you so insane that you never visit their service dept. again. I would rather shoot myself than walk in there again...but I will walk in there every 3 months until my car dies to get my flippin free oil change, because THEY WILL NOT GET THE BEST OF ME. JOHN DUMAS is the service agent that made me wait 4 hours. JOHN DUMAS.

Initially we came in to check out an ad we heard on the radio. We had called in first to verify it, which someone did and so we came out from San Bernardino and when we came in, it wasn't actually true. We were pretty mad and talked with a manager about how we felt. He was very kind. I can't remember his name but he was superior in the way he spoke with us and handled the entire situation. He also sat us down with a man named "Mo" who talked with us about our financial situation and assured us that we wouldn't have to hassle with haggling and he would work with us and ease our stress after what we already had dealt with with the previous sales person. We then met Tommy Avila. He is an outstanding individual, not just as a salesperson, but a person. He is kind and caring and willing to go the extra mile for you. He worked very hard that HOT day for us and we traded in two cars that day and bought two cars from him that day. The entire team that we worked with that day was superior albeit the people we initially spoke with. I have since been in to the service dept. as has my husband and each time the people that we are in contact with could not be any kinder or more professional. I have never been in a dealership with such attentiveness, kindness and personable service. Thank you! Jennifer Hosch

Dealt with Internet/Fleet sales and was offering to pay an extra $500 for the color that I wanted, which was also a price match to another dealer. After calling back 2 or 3 times, the internet sales guy told me "if you want to play games then just go ahead and buy from the other dealer". First off, Claremont prides themselves in beating prices, even Federal Unions, Sams Club, Costco, AAA, etc. I was willing to pay an extra $500 and only wanted them to MATCH, not beat, the competitor and they respond to me rudely like that. I definitely was not impressed nor did I buy from them.

Claremont Toyota not only gave me the best price, there were NO GAMES. They emailed me the complete quote with breakdowns and the out-the-door price within 60 minutes. When I arrived at the dealership the next day, everything was exactly as they said, they treated me with respect and showed professionalism and the financing department was quick to close the sale and complete the paperwork with no pressure to purchase add-ons. We were out-the-door with our new car in 90 minutes after arrival. I had an excellent car buying experience. Both the Dealership and even the restrooms were spotless. I would highly recommend Claremont Toyota.

John Ho is one of the sales manager for the Chinese-speaking sales department at Calremont Toyota. He gave a false quote over the phone for a 2005 Solara SEL V6 with side curtain airbag and VSC(quoted $25,000 out the door) that I was looking for. I have called three separate occasions and he assures me that the quote is for the specified car with all the requested option.

However, when I go into the dealer, he had me picked out the car I wanted. Then quoted me $27,700 for the car out the door. After at least an hours of my time, he took me to the lot to look at the 25k Solara he quoted me....and it was a SE V4 (according to him, he made a mistake...by the way, while I was talking to him, he claimed that he sold on average 100 to 150 cars a month). If he knew it was a SE (which he should..being a manager and sold >100 cars a month. I am sure he knows the difference between a SE and SLE V6), why couldn't he tell me when I first walk in, instead of making me drive 30 miles in traffic (took over an hour) and lied to me for over an hour at the dealership.

In the dealer's lot, John again try to sell me the $27,700 Solara I picked out. I refused to pay anything more than what he quoted me over the phone, he then simply turned around and walked away from me without saying anything or apologize for lying to me.

I believe I have been misled and mistreated. This type of dishonest, deceiving, and unethical salesperson/dealership should not get any of your business. You deserve much, much better.
