We just leased a 2021 Ford Explorer Hybrid from Classic Ford in Me for, Ohio. We have bought several other cars from Classic, but this by far was the best experience. Scott Kidd and Todd Hagedorn were absolutely amazing. With there being very few cars out there, they went above and beyond to get me the exact car I was looking for. They found me a car that was 3 1/2 hours away and had to send someone to get it during some stormy weather. They wanted to make sure that I got the exact car I wanted. Everything went so smoothly and we are so excited to have our new car!! Thank you Scott and Todd!! We definitely will be back when our lease is up!! I truly recommend Classic Ford to anyone looking for a car!! Go see Scott and Todd!!

Classic Ford's tactics are criminal. I had a shredded tire and my check engine light was on because the EVAP pigtail is damaged. I wrote both of these issues with the check engine code on the drop box form, asking for an oral quote on these. I get a call the next day, $210 for one tire including labor. $420 additional if I want them to repair the pigtail wiring. I passed on the wiring and just wanted the tire. I go to pickup my truck today, grand total was $397. The $210 plug a diagnosis fee for the pigtail. He said if I want the pigtail replaced, I will have that fee deducted from the $420. What a joke. I asked for an estimate before work being done. And what diagnosis? I provided the code and issue ahead of time. Completely shady. Last time I was there, the gas tank door wouldn't close. They said it was broken and I needed a whole new housing, $200. I declined. 15 minutes later and 1 youtube video and my gas tank door was fixed. The pin for the door was just sliding up too far. I will not be going back.

I was unsure of what car I wished to purchase and the salesmen were so helpful. Never did they complain that I wanted to drive several different car choices, even though some of them were located at another Classic car lot and they had to go get the cars for me. It was a painless process, other than deciding which to buy. They have so many great choices.

I needed a new vehicle and as quickly as possible since mine had been lost in an accident. I knew what I wanted and had shopped online. I found the vehicle I wanted at the price I wanted and I e-mailed the dealership. Bill Cheraso e-mailed me back first thing in the morning. We exchanged a few e-mailes before I talked to him on the phone and set up an appointment to test drive the vehicle. Bill was great and answered all our questions and shared all the information he could. Then the process went to Tom Wiant. Who was absolutely FANTASTIC! He found us a very low finance rate and listened to us when we said we needed a low payment. Everyone made this hectic process easy and I LOVE MY NEW VAN! The only negative thing I could say is I asked to have my down payment check held for a few days because the bank was holding the funds. I even showed them the notice from the bank that the money was there it was just being held. They deposited the check anyway and it bounced which caused me to have a NSF fee at my bank. This is a little thing compared to the great service and experience I had. Thank you Bill and Tom.

Took car in for oil change only. Afterward I notice mpg was reset (said they 'work in that area' and reset in error). They said "just drive the car" and that it would equilibrate. It never did. Mileage dropped by ~3 mpg. after full tank gas (from 21.4 to 18.7). What did they do to my car?

From start to finish the deal was an absolute nightmare!!! Salesman was super pushy and when I wanted to leave Rick would not let me go. I told them I wanted to think about and talk it over with my husband. After two hours of "DEALS TODAY", I finally escaped their claws. I will never step foot in that horrible dealership again.

My new Expedition has a rear trim panel that is not attached properly. I scheduled time to bring it to the dealer and dropped it off. It was not fixed and I was told that it has to go to the "body" shop. I have not had time to reschedule this as yet.

I was disappointed in my experience as I was expecting to get a $1500 Ford Loyalty Rebate, and, after waiting almost 2 months for my Ford Explorer to come in, I was told I would not be getting a Ford Loyalty Rebate of $1500 as I expected. After waiting so long for my Ford, I was diappointed that my rebate was not available as I originally expected and as I was originally advised. I based my buying decision on getting the $1500 so not getting it caused the economics of my lease to be way more expensive that I originally estimated. The car I turned into the broker was my 2003 Ford Explorer which I bought from Ford Montrose in 2003. I loyally drove it all these years and then was told I could not get the rebate. I am very disappointed in Ford and I will probably buy something else the next time given what happened this time around with my rebate. Obviously Ford does not care that I am a loyal customer.

My experience with B. Cheraso I would classify as great. He was helpful in every way. The reason I can only rate the overall experience as "good" is because of the difficulty I have had in securing a permanent license plate (something about a certificate of origin that has yet to be produced by the dealer in Detroit that Classic Ford traded one of their vehicles to in order to get the Mustang GT that I leased). I leased the car April 30 and am now on my second temporary tag (which required standing in line for 30 mins. at the local BMV). That kind of experience does not make one a happy camper, as the saying goes.

I had an excellent experience at Classic Ford in Mentor while researching and ultimately purchasing my 2011 Ford Edge. I am a long time Honda customer(I have had 3 different Honda's) and was looking to replace my 2004 Honda CRV. I researched and test drove the 2011 CRV and 2011 Ford Edge. There was no comparison. The Ford Edge was in a completely different league! I would have had to add several options to the CRV to obtain the vehicle that I wanted while almost all of these were standard with my Ford Edge. I began my journey via an internet search and linked up with Bill Cheraso at Classic Ford. He was attentive to me without being overbearing or pushy. Upon meeting him in person, I was treated with respect and courtesy. I am very impressed with the newer Ford products. I love my Ford Edge and would recommend this vehicle and this dealership to all my friends and family. Top notch in my book.

I would like to say that we live in Mayfield Village approximately five to ten minutes to Marshall Ford. After visiting your dealership with my sister-in-law who purchased a car, I will never return to Marshall and will always go the Classic. The friendliness and how willing they were to work with us to find the exact car we wanted was unable. We were aslo thanked for purchasing a vehicle. Not so with Marshall Ford and their sales staff. This Dealer was incredible to work with. They called and followed up with me, let me know what was going on with the vehicle. My family was so impressed they will come to Mentor to purchase from this dealership as well. They got me the car I wanted and were fantastic. I have even had follow up calls to call or just stop in if I have questions or if I want to get it washed. They definitely have my business in the future.

The sales team I worked with are great. Dave Kirk and my last salesman Jesse worked with me really well.The Service department is the disappointment:There is this gentleman that works the service desk, short, thin dark hair (it may be Mark Toflinski but I am not sure). This representative is too often smug, rude, and un-helpful. On several occasions I have tried to offer some insight and further description of the fault only to be largely ignored. On one specific visit, for an FM Radio sound problem, I printed some information from a forum where several other Ford owners were experiencing the same problem as I was. When I offered this information he completely discounted it saying information from the internet cannot be trusted. So I left the information anyways and asked him to review it and call Ford to see if there was indeed a problem and potentially a fix. He never called me back. A year later and the problem still isnt fixed. I have recently read on three different online forums that there are many people experiencing the same problem. One entry even indicated that Ford may have identified the problem and implemented a software fix. So I am contemplating taking the car in again, but dreading having to get in front of this service rep to plead my case that something is indeed wrong and not just imagined.Thank you,Steve

Marion and the maanger were very attentive to our needs and seemed to want to make a deal that I would be comfortable with. They ordered the color car I wanted and I love my Lincoln. Tom Wiant handled the financing part exceptionally, very easy and quick.Just wish I knew more about the value of deals...although I did do some research. I think I could have put less cash down....I had responded to an ad in the News Herald that Classic offered for leasing and it was within my budget and I was excited to get a Lincoln. Prefer Ford to GM after all the bailout nonsense.

This was the best car buy experience we have ever had and we have bought a lot of cars in the last 15 years. We will definately come back for our next one. Our Salesman, Bill, was very helpful and courteous. Financing from Ford came through with a much lower percentage rate than we expected. The week before we had bought another care from a different dealership in the same town and the experience with Bill was makig me wish I could have taken that car back.
