We were shopping for a new car for our son who had just graduated from college. It was his first time going through the buying process so he was somewhat overwhelmed and had many questions. Online shopping located a desired, used Prius here. Spoke to salesman Chris R. several times over 2 weeks and he was always polite and no pressure. He was just as good in person and never any pressure; knowledgeable about car and features. We made a deal with minimal haggling. Bob wrapped up the paperwork and, through Chris, knew I didn't want to listen to warranty pitch. Having made the same statement before when buying cars I assumed I'd have to anyway. Bob never mentioned the extended warranty; simply had us sign the declination statement. While I can't speak for any of the other sales or checkout people at this dealership, these two were great. I'd buy another car there.

I bought a car there from Zulu. He is a good man. The finance manager lied to my face then laughed at me and said well I have your signature. xxxx you Clearwater Toyota, YOU SUCK and are lying thieves. Do not do business with this dealership. Then they go and fire one of their service reps, Dane, for no reason I am sure. I never received a customer service survey on Dane, but I would have given him a 100%. It is the finance manager and service manager that are some of the problem here. I am going back to Honda after this and writing Toyota Corporate about their thieving lying ways. They should give Dane back his job and fire the lying finance manager.

Alex Menyhart was my salesman at Clearwater Toyota a few weeks ago. We stopped by to test drive a new 2016 Toyota Corolla for my daughter who goes to college in Orlando. Alex was very professional and very friendly. He used no pushy salesman tactics. After the test drive he quickly appraised our trade an older Mercedes and surprisingly gave us the number that we were expecting to get. He's a straight shooter quickly came back with an offer that only needed a few minutes of tweaking. My daughter is very happy with her choice, a new Special Edition Corolla. We will be back for an other car for my son very soon and I would definitely recommend my salesman even to my own mother.

I drove 2 1/2 hours, over 110 miles to buy my new 2016 Corolla s plus from this dealership. Spoke with an awesome salesman, Matt S., over the phone. Matt S. is with the only dealership that spoke to me over the phone and sealed a sweet deal, while I was stuck at work. I called three other Toyota dealerships much closer to where I live in Orlando. Two of which wouldn't give me the time of day unless I came into there dealership, even after explaining that I couldn't come in due to being stuck at work. Only Matt could provide the right customer service, down to earth personality, and an awesome deal over the phone, which ultimately lead to my devoted business. After purchasing the vehicle Matt S. Continued to assist me with my new and modern car by showing how to use all of the cool new options and features. He even helped sync my phone to the car via Bluetooth. The finance dept was also very helpful and very courteous during my purchase. Over all, I give it a full five stars and I would definitely return to this business for my next purchase.

I'm very happy that I'm servicing my Corolla in this Service Center. They always do perfect job, and I'm confident that they know my car very well and do whatever needed in the best way. Additional benefit in servicing in official SC - is if any recall apply to your car, they pull that information from database and perform recall work for free. I recommend to register on the web site so you'll get news, updates and offers. I usually wait in their hall while service being done, watching movie on their screen. They have multiple coffee pots and fresh-done cookies.

I brought my 2008 Prius in because I started having issues with the passenger HID headlight. I was immediately greeted by Garrett Weeks and assured the issued could be fixed! I decided to get an oil change while I was there and told that my car would be ready in 2-2.5 hrs. Well, I was done & out the door in less than 2 hours! Mr. Weeks was very nice & well mannered! So recently I was involved in a bad accident. I really wanted to keep the same type of car that I had before because it got great gas mileage and well I loved the car very much. We looked online and your place was the only one that had all the specifications I was looking for and was close to the price range we were allowed to be in. After a little work Ben Weeks was able to get us at a good price so we made a deal and he even made sure they cleaned out the stain that the car had in the seat before I took it home. Very helpful and it is our second vehicle we have purchased there in 5 years so I guess return business means you're doing something right :)

I've owned my Camry since 2009 and had it serviced at the Toyota dealership near my former home. I recently moved to Safety Harbor and wasn't thrilled with the idea of having to deal with a new service department.I needn't have worried. I was promptly greeted at my scheduled appointment time by Purple Team Service Manager, Drew Petzoldt, who was smiling and enthusiastic. He listened carefully to my service requirements (100,000 mile tune-up) and a few more minor matters, reviewed various service/pricing options with me to consider, without being pushy as to any particular choice, promptly got me a rental car so I could go to work, and I was on my way within a half hour.He called me later regarding additional needs (a leaking water pump, and brakes required replacement, which didn't surprise me, so I authorized the work.My car was ready the same day, when promised, and he greeted me enthusiastically, by name, when I retrieved my car.A thoroughly satisfactory first impression. I was impressed right away when I visited Clearwater Toyota to have a rim and tires replaced. My service advisor, Mike, figured out what I needed and explained the next steps. He even personally got my car from the car wash for me because the line was so long! When I returned to have the rim and tires installed, Brett assisted me. At first there was some confusion about having the parts in stock but Brett figured out what was going on a took great care of me. Both service advisors seemed sincerely interested in making sure I was happy. I'll be going back the next time I need service.

We have had both cars only serviced there. They clearly recommend any repairs or adjustments needed. No pressure to buy repairs like other auto service centers and repair costs were reasonable. Happy 1st time Camry owner. Car does not, however live up to EPA MPG ratings for city/combined driving. Trip computer does not accurately calculate MPG compared to old school math calculations (miles driven/# of gallons at fill-up).

My Blue team member Chris Chapman was extremely helpful with detailed explanations to all my questions. We have just moved to this area and are used to having our Prius serviced regularly by another dealer in another state. We were a bit hesitant, but it turned out to be an excellent experience!My customer service rep was smiling and welcoming and made me feel as though we'd been coming there for a long time! The work was all done (it was a bit slow but, as he explained, they don't like to rush the workers) and the car was washed and sparkling clean when it came out.The waiting room was clean and comfortable and there were pastries as well as an assortment of coffees and teas.I will definitely go back to them when the car needs work next.

How many folks go to a car dealership for an oil change and come out with a brand new car??? We did!!! We were not happy with our new car, with only 3400 miles on it, because it was a 4 cylinder (OUR fault for not test driving both a 4 & a 6 when we bought it). Went it for service, and my wife decided to talk to Sales to see what, if anything, could be done. Met Steve, & he worked with us to put us in the perfect car, at an acceptable price.

Had my Highlander serviced at Clearwater Toyota - routine maintanence. Experience was great. Plenty of space to work while waiting. Vehicle was returned shined up and washed. Service advisor reviewed what had been done and what would be needed in the future. Great Job!Plus, they have an awesome popcorn maker in the show room - the smell of freshly popped corn works - can't tell you how many people were sitting around with their cup of hot popcorn!

All information was gone over with me and options were presented. The wait time was more than acceptable and the service performed was excellent. I took my car to Clearwater Toyota because I had a recall on the ECM. I made my appointment on-line, which was very easy to do. When I arrived, I was greeted immediately by a service advisor named Agustin and my car was taken back to have the part replaced. In the waiting area, they had a large screen TV with a movie playing as well as coffee. After I had been there about 40 minutes, Agustin came out to give me an update and let me know they had installed the part and that my car would be ready soon. About 10 minutes later, my car was ready, and I was on my way. They were very friendly and professional! I highly recommend taking your car to Clearwater Toyota.

I am beyond impressed with this dealership and the employees in the service department. First time customer, I received service that went far and beyond my expectations. After a disappointing experience at Dimmitt Cadillac I took my vehicle to Clearwater Toyota for what I thought was going to be a simple fix from what Dimmitt service department told me and the insurance company. What turned out was a job that had been done improperly a few years before that was covered. Needless to say the job itself was costly, Aden identified the shoddy work, kept me abreast of the ongoing work, while Brett worked with my insurance company to cover the cost of the majority of work that was needed. The Purple Team was awesome and made me feel like a long time customer. I can not speak highly enough of Brett and Aden and the Clearwater Toyota dealership. They will be my go to dealership for service and when I am in the need of a new "baby".

This is a nice dealership and I feel like the prices are reasonable. I'm sure you could have work done somewhere else but I don't mind paying a little extra for the peace of mind that the tech know what they are doing and if something goes wrong Toyota will likely make it right. I've been dealing with Seth Bronson for years and he's a stand up guy. He started as my service advisor and now he's the head of the whole service department so it's been nice to see Toyota recognize talent from within their organization.They have a really nice lobby with WiFi if you have to wait for your vehicle.

I was dreading the fact that I had to bring my car into the dealership for repairs. It takes a long time and I wondered what kind of pressure they would put on me for things I was not there for.Well, I was pleasantly surprised! I was treated with the utmost respect and professionalism. I was told exactly what was needed for my car, and there was ZERO pressure as I was worried about.The wait was actually enjoyable. They had very comfortable seats and fresh coffee brewing and some Danish to snack on. There was a movie playing, free WiFi and plenty of fresh pop corn.It was a good time for me to catch up on emails and relax knowing that my car was in the best hands.When everything was finished, the employee (sorry I forgot your name) explained everything to me. He knew everything about the Rav 4 and answered all my questions. I had previously dealt with Sun Toyota, but Clearwater Toyota gave me the best deal and they will keep my business. Clearwater Toyota was the first place I went to look for a car. I went to other dealerships looking at a lot of different vehicles but came back to Clearwater Toyota because of Will Wilson. Will answered all my questions and concerns the first time I met him. I asked him to give me an estimated breakdown of costs for buying a Toyota Camry which he did. After he knew I was not going to commit that day (even though he tried to get me to buy) he still showed my nephew and I around the service area etc. He called me later to see if I was still interested. I cannot tell you how much I was not looking forward to dealing with the sales process of getting a car. Will and Rocco made getting this car a smooth and painless process. Rocco informed me of all my options on the finance side of this transaction and gave me good advice when I had questions. I have been asked where I got my new car and do not hesitate to tell them Clearwater Toyota and the great experience I had with Will and Rocco. Love my new Camry.

I purchased a 2007 Lexus LS460 in January of 2014. They described the vehicle as mint, as I walked around the vehicle I noticed a puncture mark in the rear bumper the size of a half-dollar, surface scratches that could of been removed with a proper detail but weren't for some reason. Also, the front windows needed adjustment because they weren't making a proper seal when rolled up. So much for mint condition. They said they would fix it, and they tried. Runs and drip marks all through the bumper. In my opinion, an inexperienced technician made a effortless attempt to repair. I tried contacting everyone, from the salesman to the GM and nobody returned my calls. Until, it was time for them to collect their down payment. I gave them a check to hold, and in exchange, I would bring in cash. They went ahead and cashed the check after I specifically told Robert Walsh, the Business Manager, not to cash the check. The bad news, it bounced. The good news, I finally got a call back from someone. Now, I had a little leverage with them wanting something from me. I spoke with the GM, Todd DeVroogel, he was very nice and listened to all my concerns for repair. We scheduled a service appointment and went from there. I got to pick my Lexus up, it looked great. But, as I took a closer look, their was still drip and run marks throughout the bumper. Why didn't they go over the car before releasing it back to me? I open the car door to get in and check for the window repair, and again, an inexperienced technician failed to remove my door panel the proper way and ruined the leather around my power window panel on the driver's side. I mean ruined, beyond repair! I pointed the damage out to the service advisor immediately. Her response was to contact the GM, Todd DeVroogel, if I had any problems. So, I did. In not so many words, he accuses me of being a liar and states, in his own words "That damage was there and I have already went above and beyond for you, I am through with you." He depreciates the value of my car, and has the nerve to say he went above and beyond. So far, I have filed a complaint with the BBB and consulted with an attorney. Go elsewhere, their "True Price" gimmick is another scam. They won't deal on the price, but if the car sits for a couple weeks they lower the price. And, in no way will they remove the dealer fee. Which, in my opinion, in no way deserve for the service they provide.

Buyer Beware! My husband and I had a horrible experience negotiating and losing a deal to purchase a 2011 Highlander. The sale person had incorrect facts about the car, including the price and the Toyota Certification. When a deal was finally reached, we drove to the dealership, and they made us wait for 45 minutes. We continually asked what the delay was. Finally we realized they were signing a contract with another couple for the same car. They used us as bait to get another offer on the car. They are highly unprofessional and wasted our time. The sales staff had a very nonchalant attitude towards the situation and offered no apology for the situation. I wouldnt trust this dealership with any car purchase.

I went in to look at the 2013 4Runner. I have been lusting after the new Trail Edition and they had one in stock with all the options I wanted and the exact color I wanted. Jeff was the salesman that I worked with and really a no nonsense kind of guy, extremely helpful, explained all the features of the car to me, and answered all my questions. He let me test drive the car for as long as I needed to feel comfortable and was more than willing to test drive all of the different models until I was sure I had found what I wanted. He introduced me to the sales manager Alfonso who was extremely professionally and very helpful. He gave me his best deal right out of the gate and it was better than any of the other dealers I had talked to. They were never pushy and always friendly. If I lived in the area this would be my dealer for all my service and all future purchases. Well done guys and thanks!

I went for service at Clearwater Toyota two times which is two times too many. I had them perform my first 10,000 mile oil change on my 2012 Tundra which took nearly three hours to perform. Whenever someone takes this much time to perform a simple task it signals me that the technician is struggling to complete his task. Problems with a simple oil change? Three hours? People have lives and don't want to be tied up at a dealership for hours on end, especially for something so simple. My second visit or should I say regret was to bring my truck in at 14,800 miles to find and repair a rattle located just below the glove box. I told the service representative where this rattle was located instructing her to tell the technician to simply drive over one of their speed bumps and they will hear the rattle to find it's exact location. After having my truck there for over two hours I questioned the service representative as to why this was taking so long. I was floored when I was told that rattles were difficult to trace and the technician had to take a portion of the dash out three times to finally fix it so it stopped the rattle. By the time I signed my paperwork it was over 2-1/2 hours so when I drove over my first speed bump on my way out I heard the same rattle, less noticeable but definitely still present. The service holds the same value as I paid which is zero, except I've wasted a total of over 5-1/2 hours of my time for work that should have taken a fraction of this time. Yet I can assume only the oil change was correctly performed. As you may be able to read, I am not a happy camper.

My wife and I went into this dealership with the sole purpose of buying a rav 4 SUV. What the salesman tried to do is sell us a Camry instead! My wife and I did not want a Camry we wanted a RAV! I understand that Toyota is trying to sell their Camry because it's the best toyota car on the market but, should a salesman try to talk you out of the vehicle that you want? Well, we are happy to announce that after the visit to this dealership, we went to Honda and are now proud owners of a honda CR-V. We love it and it is much nicer than the RAV! I am now glad that toyota tried to push the Camry because we wouldn't have purchased the CR-V if it wasn't for that fact.

When I told them that I was comparing dealers/prices I was told buy the salesman that they needed to get pricingn from managment. I gave each dealer my name and number. Well, 2 of the dealers NEVER called me back and the 3rd took half a day to contact me. Clearwater Toyota called me back within 20 mins with details on the Camry as well as price. When I compaired the price to kelly bluebook online I found it to be a very competative price. I felt the price, mixed with a quick and professional response earned my business. While in the store I was treated with great courtesy as every time I said "thank you" I got "my pleasure" in return instead of your welcome. I feel that that the service provided validated my drive across the bay to clearwater and will do so again when I buy my next car!

I went in to get my old cars oil changed. I didnt expect to have a good experience..it's a car dealer after all. It was better than good..it was a great experience. Thank you thank you seth and walter. They were both nice and accomadating. I love my new Camry

Clearwater Toyota did so many things wrong I don't even know where to start. At first I thought I was getting a good deal and I was being treated fairly... Then I went into financing. Now to give you a bit of background, my husband and I had already bought him a car the same morning as I was buying mine in the afternoon. Therefore I already knew my credit score was well above average and there would not be a problem finding a bank to finance us. So when the finance manager told me that the bank I wanted to use wasn't going to finance me, I started asking questions. They assured me that the financing I had gotten that morning would never go through and the other dealership would rewrite that contract and call us back on the first car we had bought that morning. Their reasoning was the fact that it was a 2004 vehicle and said the bank would not finance a car "that old". Being it was Saturday and no way for me to check with the bank I accepted what they said at face value. My mistake. Not only did they LIE to me about the financing they also LIED about the fact that I couldn't refinance right away. They told me I had to wait 6 months to get my car refinanced. IF ANYONE TELLS YOU THIS THEY ARE LYING!! You can have your car refinanced immediately. They lose money if you do and that is why they tell you that. So I called the bank on the following monday and guess what? They said no problem we will refinance for you at 6% LOWER INTEREST RATE. I went from an unreasonable 10.5% to 4.9%!!! For a person with perfect credit that was more of an insult than anything.I couldn't believe what they did was not illegal. This was such a terrible experience that I went back and cancelled the extended warranty they had sold me because I NEVER want to deal with these people again.

Bought a new 2009 Toyota RAV4, was told the new tags would be mailed. 2 days before the temporary tags would expire, had to call the dealership and was told that "it was ready to be mailed" but for "some reason" hadn't been. We could always just "pick it up tomorrow". Which we did.That same 2009 Toyota RAV4 had 3 months FREE Sirius Satellite radio. However, the actual receiver has to be bought. At a price of $450. 3 months free radio? Not quite.Also bought a full-warranty 2008 Toyota RAV4, which happens to dried cement on the front. Windshield wiper fluid splatters off onto the side windows (driver & passenger).

I hated it there it was the most unprofessional place I have ever been!!!!!!!! I would never go back there I had a misribal time no one was willing to help me at first! then once I did get some salesmen he was extreamly rude to me and there managers there was ever worse. I went to go complain about my experince and there blew me off like the didnt care!!!! I would never go back there and i would never recomend this dealership to anyone!!!!!! I left there dealership and went to AutoWay toyota and it was a great experiance there everyone was very nice!

In July 2007 I bought used Toyota matrix from a Clearwater Toyota dealer. I was told that car was checked and had one owner. After one year when I was cleaning my car, I found a ticket from Hertz in the trunk. So my car was used as a rental car. And the dealer lied to me. If I knew that this car was used as a rental car I would have never bought it. I would like to let you know that I am not satisfied with this kind of customer service.

I bought a new Camry less than 2 years ago, now it needs $600 in maintaince. $60 to clean the battery terminals, $90 to remove the dust from the rear brakes, $90 to replace the ps fluid.
