I have a perfect credit score of over 800. I leased a car from them not knowing about their reputation. 2 days later, I went back to the dealership trying to lease ANOTHER upgraded car. SERGIY who is the sales manager started to become highly unprofessional, extremely rude, acting as he is doing us a favor of leasing the car. He was unreasonable and difficult to deal with . He threatened to cancel my prior lease. He continued being difficult then started to ask for immigration papers and documents that no one will ask for especially I have been a citizen for over 20 years. I have a successful corporation and perfect credit score. I will never go back to Coggin Honda dealership at Atlantic Blvd nor would I recommend anyone to shop there.

Everywhere I've ever purchased a used vehicle there was some sort of inspection process performed by the dealer's technicians prior to the vehicle hitting the lot. Apparently Coggin is the exception to the rule. I purchased a used vehicle from Coggin recently, only to find out there was a heavily corroded brake line that did not last a week post-purchase. Fortunately i am capable of making repairs myself, but one who is not would have been extremely unfortunate. The repair cost would have been substantial if made by a facility, and numerous other issues have been found since that would not have escaped an inspection by a trained technician. The safe bet would be to find a shop that invests the time to seperate possible trouble vehicles, or at least ensure they are worth selling. For such a large auto group, I find my experience unacceptable.

All of the Honda.com have the wrong phone number. Then I googled and found an item New Honda Dealership. I brought it up and found the correct phone number. The number on the Honda.com needs to be changed. That is why I put the phone number in the title of my review. This service center is awesome. I was hassled with another Honda service and was very frustrated. This service dept is friendly, positive and helpful. So so happy we found them. I do not work for them or just giving a good review. My review is honest and I am thrilled to have found them.

I totally recommend this dealership. Its staff is welcoming and smiling, they make sure you feel comfortable. My saler was Roula Freiha, and she has done her job amazingly. She was able to give me the advice I was looking for. She even left me some time alone to think whether I should buy the car or not. She was not insistent at all which is a quality I seeked for a saler.

I was helped yesterday my Jimmy, he was great, helpful and insightful in helping me pick out a good vehicle for my asking price. He let me test drive models and even drove me around the lot, seeing if i found something i liked. Kelly also helped and he was extremely polite and knowledgable, he even helped us out further by dropping our monthly price and even including a free protective cover and a resistall cleaning care kit. If anyone i know is in the market for used or new i will definitely be sending them to Coggin. Since this was my first actually financing a vehicle, i was a little unsure what to expect, however they made the process amazingly east and painless.

My wife and I came to this dealership to work out a deal on not one, but TWO cars. They were patient, accommodating, and willing to work with us so that it made financial sense. We worked with Kelly Murati, who always made himself available to talk to even when when we left the dealership. The customer service was great and the prices compared to other dealerships could not be matched. Kelly from the finance department helped me with getting the title to my trade in, which made the transaction smooth. We went in for two civic EX-Ls and left with two Civic Tourings. We are very satisfied!

I came here with a specific car in mind that I found online, and the staff made the process from looking around to purchasing the car very easy and relatively stress free (as stress free as it can reasonably be). I didn't feel very pressured to do anything I was uncomfortable with, although as a dealership they have to push a little. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and they catered to all of my needs and any concerns I had without any hesitation. I'd be glad to shop here again if the time comes again.

What an amazing experience I had with Roula (my Sales Consultant) and Melvin (Sales Manager ). I didn't go there to buy a vehicle actually I was just doing window shopping. This was my first trip to a dealership in 11 years so I was not expecting to purchased a car that day. The sales process experience was at such a high level of expertise and comfortability and it transcended through the building. I left the dealership with with such a feeling of confident and assurance that my purchase was rock solid. Both Roula and Melvin kept to their word and delivered what was agreed upon. Not only that, but when we came to a fork in the road with one item in the deal Melvin took the high road and made it very worthwhile to do business with them. I was completely satisfied that I have already given a referral to Roula, My co-worker also purchased a car from them with three weeks after I purchased mind, and he's a Raving Fan too!I would strongly suggest if you are in the market for a used vehicle consider Coggin Honda. When feeling disappointed with other car dealers I drove into Coggin Honda half expecting the same treatment-not qualifying for a loan, trying to get more of a down from me. I was completely mistaken. Joanna walked me through the the entire process, she was very personable, friendly and made car buying painless. Everyone I dealt with was the same-very professional and took the time to listen act on my needs. I was very impressed. It's funny, I can hardly wait to get my serviced as I was shown how the customers are treated in the service department. They have a small theater, goodies to eat and drink while waiting. After owning my car for 15 years, I went car shopping at Coggin Honda on Atlantic Blvd. The people there were so nice and really showed they cared about their customers. Was not rushed into anything. Answered all of my questions. My sales person, TYSON, was the greatest. He walked me through all of the steps on purchasing vs. leasing. Made the right deal for me. When I picked up my new Honda HR-V, he spent an hour walking me through what every little button was for and told me I could come back and he would answer any questions and give me a tutorial again. He has followed up and called me to see if I had any questions or needed to have something explained again. I highly recommend Coggin Honda for your next new car and definitely ask for TYSON - he's the greatest.

Took my daughters Honda in to repair a noise. Explained to service advisor as best as I could to what it could be, and asked that problem be diagnosed and that I be advised.Called twice during day to check on vehicle, but got no response, phone was not answered nor was my request for a call back acknowledged. Finally got a call back at 5:30pm advised vehicle need to stay over night, and I would be called by 9:30am next day. Right, no phone call by 9:30am, I finally received a call after 10am advising me that two engine supports needed to be replaced and there was a noise in the A/C compressor. I authorized repairs. Follow-up during the day produced no results, finally about 5:30pm I received a call stating vehicle was ready. After spending $1500, problem AS NOT repaired.Nest day I took car to an INDEPENDENT GARAGE and got problem resolved.

Took my car in for an oil change. Had an appointment for 5:15 P.M. and showed up at 5:00. I was told that they were backed up and it would be a long wait. O.K. Fine I was not in that big of a hurry. About 7:00 P.M. The service person tells me they have completed the oil change and recommended that I have my cabin air filter replaced for $60 because it was really dirty. I know this in fact was not true as I had replaced it with a genuine Honda filter in February for $20 in about 5 minutes time. I bring my two cars both of which I bought new in the past 3 years to the dealer for service knowing that I will pay extra but expecting better service and to be treated fairly. On top of the attempted $60 dollar fleecing, I was also told that if I wanted the complementary car wash (what I consider part of the $45 dollars I pay for the oil change) it would be at least another 45 minutes. This is not the first time I have been less than satisfied with the service at Coggin. My thought is a company does not treat a valued return customer this way if they wan't to keep them. I like Honda they make a great product, and I got a good deal on the cars when I bought them but the after the sale service seems to be hit or miss and lately it's more miss than hit. This type of thing really will have an impact on where my next car purchase is made.

I'd had some issues over the years with some service reps, but Jim knows what he's talking about, is honest, and there's never any issues. While I never would have thought of getting tires at dealership in the past, he recommended some tires that were on sale with a buy 3 get 1 free deal, noting these were great tires by his experience. The cost was totally competitive with any store in Jax for quality Cooper tires. Driving with the new tires is a pleasure - quieter and with better handling, and with the 4 wheel alignment they track straight and true - on a van with 195,000 miles on it. It drives like a new van. I am totally satisfied with the transaction and surprised the dealer can do this well on costs for tires. Jim's honesty and knowledge makes the experience a good one - and I know my cars and can tell many a story of places that were not good.

The car dealerships in the local Savannah area were not super motivated to help me find the specific car I was looking for. One even told me it was not worth their while to get the car on their lot unless I committed a non-refundable deposit. My experience at Coggin was fantastic. Darrell Williams immediately located the exact vehicle I was looking for and offered to hold it for a refundable deposit. He also committed to matching the lowest price I had found. He was friendly and easy to work with, as was his sales manager and Ashley in the finance office. It's common knowledge that buying a car can be exasperating, but the folks at Coggin Honda were genuine and helpful and made for a very decent experience. Awesome and I would highly recommend buying your next vehicle at Coggin.

I came to the the used car lot to check out a BMW M3. The car was beautiful inside and out and seemed to operate normally. But as this is a exotic high maintenance car, I needed to know more about its medical history before pulling the trigger. The sales manager was polite and worked with me to bring the car to Tom Bush for a pre- purchase inspection. The next morning we picked up the car and with no signs of neglect, we worked out a very reasonable deal. I highly recommend asking for Kevin Lamb. These cars are in high demand and he went over and beyond to work with me and my extremely tight schedule. I fear that without Kevin, someone else would have snagged the car before me.

We live out of town. We were searching the net for a car. We had a trade-in. Lucas Welnetz sent us an email offering to help us. We found a car we liked. We told Lucas we would be in after church to test drive it. I was recuperating from pneumonia and Sunday, I woke up very sick. I told Lucas we would not be there for the test drive. He was very thoughtful and kind. That afternoon, I felt a little better. We decided at the last minute to drive in for the test drive. We drove all the way to Jax, and my husband said "what time do they close ?" I said probably 6pm. I called, Lucas answered. He said they closed in 20 minutes. We had driven all the way to Jax and were still across town. I told him it would probably take 30+ minutes to get there. Lucas said "I'll wait for you." Traffic was heavy and it took us almost 45 more minutes to get to Coggin. Lucas was outside, waiting for us with his great big smile. We had the test drive and loved the car. We were not prepared to buy the car. We did not have our paperwork, or our trade-in, etc. Lucas said we could bring everything in Monday. I had a Doctor's appt and knew we would not be there on Monday. I told him we would be there Tuesday. Tuesday, I was still sick. We drove to Jax. with our trade-in and paperwork. The appraisal went very fast. Lucas had the car ready to go. The paperwork was quickly and accurately completed. We have bought a lot of cars over the years. That was the best experience we have ever had. No pushy salesman. Everyone on the staff was very competent, and extremely courteous to us. They bent over backwards to answer all of our questions and gave us a great deal. We only give them 5 stars, because they do not have 10 star ratings.

4 tires was replace last Dec 2015. My son who is in College in Miami only use the car around his School area and when he goes back here in Jacksonville for his break. He Drove back to college in Miami Last March 22, 2016. After an hour Drive. They stop and Notice a Bulge in one of the tire. So, they replaced it with the Spare tires. After 2 hours Drive it was the 2 tires now with the same problem. they Stop to a nearest Walmart where they stop to replaced the 2 tires. for their safety. I called Coggin Honda of Jacksonville Atlantic Blvd. We've been a customer for a long time for the Service Center. But, when I tried to explain to Allison Davis , Service Manager about it last week I called her.. She always repeating that they need to see the actual tires for them to send it to the tire Company if they can replace it or not. I was so frustrated. it seems that i am lying and trying to make advantage of something else. We have a picture of the tires. But, she kept repeating that they need to see the actual tires. The tires was only 3 months when they replaced it from that Service Center. What do you think how you feel if you are in our side. Very Hard to comprehend how they treated me and my Family. My name if Romeo and they can search it with my first name. But, if you will respond with the same answer. Just dis regard this and we will think for another way. Sorry but we can't help it. We will not stop until we will get a good answer. Thank you.

My old vehicle (going on 10 years old) blew a head gasket recently, so I decided it was time to look for a new vehicle. I visited several dealerships in my search, but in the end Coggin Honda stood above the rest.Morris Rashwan, my sales consultant, was very helpful and knowledgeable. He took the time to get to know me, and what I wanted, and then went out of his way to find what I wanted. We actually drove around to the back of the lot to check new vehicles that had just arrived and hadn't been placed in their computer system yet. Morris also took the time to demonstrate all the features of the vehicle (not just recite a list of options), and made sure I was comfortable with the vehicle before he even hinted at actually trying to make a sale. This stood out to me, as I felt that during the experience, the goal was to make sure I was as happy with the transaction as they were.In the end, buying a new car (at least in the USA) can be a somewhat dubious experience, with many high-pressure sales people and tactics out there. I experienced none of that with Morris or any of the people at Coggin Honda. Do they want to sell you a new car? Of course. But they at least realize that a new car purchase is a two-way street and that I, the consumer, needs to feel as happy about the purchase as they do taking my money.I would recommend them to anyone.

I've been having trouble with my 2010 Honda CRV occasionally just wouldn't start. I hate having to get it jumped in my hundred month Honda battery was only five years old. I understand batteries don't last as long in the heat of Florida. Several places I checked with just wanted to install a battery without checking it at the average price of $140 including my original Honda dealer in Orange Park. I called Coggins because it's closer to me and was pleasantly surprised to hear they could install 100 month Honda battery with warrantee in my car out the door for $116.62 they had the battery on sale :-)I came right over And waited the required our wall my battery was tested to make sure that was the problem. I left with a new battery and a smile. My service treatment was top notch even for a on sale battery. Thank you guys! I'll be back

Service simply awful. I have just experienced Honda service the worst service ever. I took my 2016 Honda Pilot Elite AWD to Coggin Honda in Jacksonville today. I called a week ahead and made an appointment for 9AM Wednesday, December 30th. I had a free oil change coming and the treble adjustment on the stereo would not work. At 2:30 in the afternoon I was called that my car was ready. I went back to the dealership and waited until 5:05PM. The service advisor said that the treble wouldnt work because I had it turned all of the way down. She also readjusted all of my stereo settings, balance and fade. My treble adjustment still does not work. My service rep also said that it was taking a long time because they wanted to balance my tires. A brand new car, no shimmy or pull or uneven tire wear. Why? They said they were updating the software which takes a long timelike hours.

Always a pleasure doing business with this dealership. The Service Advisors are very knowledgeable, are able to explain repairs/issues, and willing to accommodate the customer as needed. When having services done, the advisors keep the customer informed of the progress while your car is being serviced. I had a problem with my car starting, called Coggin, and was asked to come right to the dealership. They took me right in and ran diagnostic tests in an effort to determine what was the problem. They ran the tests twice and found no problems with the starter, battery, or alternator. The Service Director & the Customer Relations Manager are available to interact with the customers. It is always a pleasure to make a visit to Coggin Honda.

The 2015 Honda Fit is our first Honda automobile and we are thoroughly pleased with this vehicle. The technology is user friendly and very impressive. Gas mileage is incredible. The best of any car we ever owned. During a recent trip to South Carolina we averaged 41,2 mpg. I'm in the military and recently got transferred to the Jacksonville area. I needed a car fast and Coggin Honda made it easy. These guys make the car buying experience quick and painless. The level of customer service is really good and they seemed to all go out of their way to make sure the customer is taken care of. I had a good experience with the sales associates Kelvin and DJ, and the manager Matthew took care of me as well. The head of the new car sales, Sergiey, frequently came by to make sure I was being taken care of and to see if I needed anything else. They were all really helpful without being pushy. I'm not down with pushy car salesmen who try to pressure you. This was a very relaxed environment. I'll be going back to this dealership when its time to get my wife a new car.

Dealt with Roger Harewood in the used car side. He was pleasant and good to deal with however after providing him with the payoff amount for my current vehicle (the one I was planning to trade) I noticed on one of the negotiation sheets that it was incorrect. I pointed it out but was immediately told that he knew that it wasn't the actual amount but that I shouldn't worry about that right now because that was "just us moving the numbers around." This happened twice. Roger, and his manager were both aware of the actual payoff amount yet still insisted that the one written was simply them "moving numbers around" in order to work the deal. After coming to an agreed price, I started the paperwork. The first document I was given that had price itemization still had the incorrect payoff amount for my car. It wasn't a small difference either. It was a $4,000 difference. I pointed it out to the finance associate and he immediately said it was a big issue. I asked to speak with Roger and his manager to see why it hadn't been corrected. The used sales manager came in and the best he could do when confronted about the mistake was say he didn't know how it happened. He said Told him the amount on the sheet was the amount I have so I asked him what happened to the original negotiation paperwork (which Roger had written the correct amount on). Sure enough, it was there and had the correct amount. I was at the dealership from 10am to 5pm. Wasted my entire day only to find a typo that may not have even been a typo after Roger and his manager had both been made aware of the issue early on. This is simply unacceptable. Two grown men in a professional environment either sincerely didn't realize a huge monetary mistake or purposely tried to scam me. Either way, worst experience I've ever had with any dealership ever. I wouldn't ever recommend going there.

So the first time I went to this dealership I was looking at purchasing a used CR-Z from them. I went in and dealt with Roula. I felt like I was being not just pushed, but shoved, into buying the vehicle. I was there for four hours and had really made it no where. I was starving and frustrated, so I went home. I was supposed to hear from Roger in finance the next day to go over the numbers. Well that never happened because they sold the car from underneath me. Still looking for a vehicle, I decided to give them a second chance when my boyfriend, who has bought three Honda vehicles, showed me a national sales promotion that Honda was having. It was $3,500 down and $149 a month for a lease on a 2015 Civic. I stopped in and before I could even get out of my car Glenn the salesman was there. I told him I was interested in leasing a 2015 Civic. So we went inside and they drew up the numbers for the lease. The numbers they gave me were $5,000 down and my monthly payments would be $300 dollars. I then proceeded to tell him that I was there for the sale, and he said he would have to work on it. Work on what dude?!?! I told Glenn that I was going to go home and talk to my boyfriend about the numbers. Then one of the Sales Managers, Bridgett, came over and asked me how they could earn my business. I told her that exactly what I told Glenn, and she proceeded to give me a little attitude, got up and made a snarky comment as she walked away. Needless to say I was irritated when I left the dealership. I went home and Glenn called me the next day asking what we had decided. I said I was disappointed that I they didn't honor the national sale from Honda. Then he proceeded to tell me that he really didn't know about the sales that were going on. I'm sorry? So, you're telling me that as a SALESPERSON you do not know about the SALES that Honda offers. Are you kidding me? Plus, I even saw signs advertising the sale when I walked into the dealership. Overall, both times I have been to this dealership to try to purchase a vehicle I Had awful experiences. I felt like they tried to take advantage of me and make excuses for themselves. Also, not impressed with the way management handled themselves. You do not make comments under your breath when the customer your making them about can hear you. I will never buy a vehicle from this dealership, and my boyfriend will not be bringing his vehicle here for service anymore. I will tell everyone I can about my horrible experiences.

My girlfriend and I went looking for a car for her 18 year old daughter. When we arrived of course we had the dread of having to deal with a car salesperson and the whole dealer process. We recently purchased a 2015 Honda Accord. Our original plan was to start at the Honda dealer and then continue on to some of the other local dealers, Toyota, Audi, etc. Well needless to say we never did make it that far! Morris Rashwan and Matthew Merricks were the agents we dealt with. What I appreciated about the experience was the low key sales pitch. We did not feel pressured. Morris did not put us in information overload, he explained the features and options without being pushy. Both agents were extremely courteous, pleasant, and non-patronizing. If and when were in the market for another Honda this will be our first choice.

Raymond was my service advisor from start to finish. He couldn't have been more helpful and communicated with me through the entire process so there were no surprises. My only complaint was that I had my tires rotated and balanced and my front end aligned. I would have expected that my tire pressures would have been checked but a couple days post service my TPS came on and when I checked my pressures they were 27,27, 27 & 22 so obviously they weren't checked as part of the service. Other than that all other maintanence appears to have been performed up to expectations. This is my second Fit from Coggin Honda and I wouldn't be surprised if I end up with a third.

I had several conversation all week with a salesperson named D!,,I had been interested in a particular black accord, made appt to come in to test drive, they called me that morning to confirm and assure me car was available, I get there to the dealership and dj was on lunch,,they spend 15 minutes trying to find tat car only to bring up a totally different car trying to pass it off as the one I was interested in, lying the whole time, I said that is not the car, then they tell me that a customer already bought the other car and it was not on the lot to begin with after all week discussing the one car I was interested in,,,,I will never again go into that dealership,,,we are shopping for a honda accord and will never buy from coggin honda as they were dishonest from the get go.

I bought my '02 Civic from Coggin new and with a few exceptions had it serviced there since. In June I was due for an oil change so I called my usual service rep on a Thurs to see if I could bring my car in on Friday. I was told there was no availability for an oil change until Thurs or Fri of the following week. This didn't work for me as my schedule was going to be very busy for the next few weeks. I had to take my car elsewhere to get it serviced. When I mentioned on Twitter about my experience, Krysten Bass responded with her number and asked me to call her. I called and got voicemail, left a message for her to call me back but never heard from her. Coggin lost a longtime customer.

Last week I could not start my car after work. I got a jump went next door to Advanced Auto. The guy could not really tell me if it was my battery or not. During my LONG wait at AA, I text'd AJ (who is my regular service rep at Coggin) and he said a battery was $105 and that he was not in but told me someone would gladly help me. So, when the AA guy came out I asked if he could just give me a jump so I could take my car to Coggin. WELL, thank God for Stephen. He went above and beyond to help me (even though it was after 7pm and I know they were trying to wrap things up)! He not only took care of my battery but found that my tire pressure sensor was on and there was a nail in one of my tires. I really felt like he was taking Customer Service to the next level. I will definitely be bringing him some chocolate chip cookies to thank him for the extra special care he took of me! Thanks Coggin! I love all your guys!

Well they said no problem, we will get you in and out as quick as possible. They also recommended a tire rotation and I said OK. My service rep, Florence kept me informed on the status of my car. Even though it took quite a while I was very satisfied with the service.

Having just moved to Florida from way out of state, I had brought my vehicle in for an oil change. Since this was the first time I had brought my vehicle to Coggin, they did a multi-point inspection and notified me of possible maintenance items that should be done to the car. Since my paperwork for the 100,000 mile maintenance work was in storage, Coggin told me to contact my previous Honda dealership and ask them for the information. They did not want to sell me additional services if it was not needed. I was very impressed and thought that they do have the customer's best interest in mind. This has me seriously thinking that my next vehicle purchase will be with Coggin Honda!

Everyone is always so friendly, helpful, and provides individualized attention to needs. Mike Hernandez is our go-to service rep and he is super knowledgeable and efficient. They always work with is in a timely fashion, recommend what service needs to be done to keep our vehicle in tip-top shape, but don't push you into service/repairs that are not necessary. It is also very accommodating for kids while you're waiting for service. They have popcorn and a movie, which my kids love!

In my most service visit, I was able to watch my Civic being cared for by the technician who rotated its tires and changed the oil. I was a little pressed for time, so I went into the back lot looking for the car wash machine. When I saw what a good job they were doing on the other cars, I decided by car needed the same service. I went back up to the waiting area with renewed paitence and was rewarded with the Civic being cleaned inside and out.

I experienced an issue with my car while driving. I called Allison and she provided me with some information to trouble shoot the problem, but also arranged for me to come in the next day. She was able to work me in for diagnostics and assisted with arrangements for transportation since I had no car. She called promptly with the results of diagnostic testing and had the repair performed the same day. I have been a customer here for many years and the service has been outstanding. If you stay while your car is in the shop, you can tell that this is a great company by watching all the employees interact and by how they treat each customer.

I brought my Pilot in to get a nail removed on Saturday 14 Feb. I did not have an appointment but was seen fairly quickly. Jeremy explained the costs, asked if it could be patched can he go ahead and do it? I said yes, then he said he would come and get me if it couldn't be patched and I would need a new tire. Since it was a Saturday and no appointment I figured I was going to be awhile. I relaxed in the comfortable seats watching a movie and I'm pretty sure it was less than an hour and Jeremy called me to say I was done. The tire was patched and I went on my way. The only issue I have and its a very minor one, is that my oil life display was reset to 100% from 50%, no big deal. I purchased this Honda a year ago and I have been happy with both the sales and service.

the price was right, the negotiation was smooth, everything seemed great, until I looked at the fine print. I paid for tag agency ($99), document stamps ($57.05) license/registration ($82.35) sales tax ($470) all separate line items, maybe the tag agency fee was a bit high, but all fair.There is another line item for $699. "pre-deliver service fee" for "inspecting, cleaning, and adjusting the vehicle". Now, it was a used car, so they probably vacuumed it out and such, I get that, but I don't expect to retrospectively pay for the detailing on the car after the price is negotiated. And I know that this is not that uncommon a practice at dealerships. I just would strongly advise the public not to do business with dealers who do this. The condition of the car should be included in the negotiated price. Anything else is highly dishonest.

A.J Jones or Adam Jones, a service advisor at Coggin Honda on Atlantic Boulevard is an outstanding asset to that company. I have been going there since I started buying there in 2005 and of all the advisors I have had look after my car since I started going there, he is concerned about the safety of the car, about the concerns I might have and also works with me to get what I need repaired or serviced instead of overwhelming a customer with a myriad of charges. i would recommend his attentiveness to detail and his worthiness as an employee and advisor to be trusted by my friends and family. Scheduled repair experience: customer service rep (Allison) ready when I arrived, reviewed planned work and gave timeline for work. When service tech (Ty) advised of possible other work needed, Allison quickly reviewed options with me, took my decision and got the correct work done. Ty's work was fast and accurate. The waiting area was clean and accessible, and everyone was pleasant. Even though my Element is an older model, it received excellent handling. Purchased a used Honda CRV from this dealership and it was the smoothest car experience I have ever had. First of all the car was a great deal. This was my first used car but it was hard to tell it was even a used car because it was in great shape. The price was very fair for the purchase. My saleswoman was Ebony who was extremely friendly, not pushy, and was very helpful. She made the experience seem enjoyable. John Dewar was the sales manager I believe, he was also extremely helpful and friendly. If I owned a dealership, he is exactly the person I would want working for me. He seriously was great. John and Ebony has earned Cogging Honda a customer for life. We bought our Honda Odyssey at this dealership and have been generally satisfied until recently. On this particular visit for maintenance and repairs, we noted an issue with the airbag light, they our service advisor passed off as normal, and not worth looking into. I can understand them getting lots of questions about airbags with the Takata defective airbag issue around, but this was not related to that, and the service advisor was unwilling to listen to what the issues were and jumped to unsatisfactory conclusions. Our airbag light continues to light up at times, and it's frustrating to have a service advisor not listen.

The salesman was very good, wanted to say that first because he is not the problem. The tag & title work is the problem! I waited for a month and no tag so called, said they would overnight a new temp tag and check on the title work, no tag came. After a few days I called them back know one had sent out the temp. tag, so they sent me one the next day, and said they would check on the title work. Two weeks later went to check on tag, tag office said still no title work. I called coggin back said they needed proof of ins.. After all this time they are just now asking ins., said that i would get my tag in a week, so one week later guess what no tag. So I called back now they tell me my Ins. co. sent the wrong paper work, know one ever called me or the ins. co. back to get this straightened out. So I got this straightened out, and a few days later contacted the tag office, guess what, no tag. Now the problem is a title in old tag in Ga. and a current title in fla. So I called coggin back, and now after my second temp. tag has run out I still do not have a tag. They said they would send me a dealer tag until all this is straightened out. Guess what no dealer tag was sent. So called them back, said they did not have any left. Now I a stuck with a van that I can not drive!

I went today to go check out a 2015 honda fit. I wasn't ready to buy, and I made that clear when I came by. I was trying to make comparisons and confirm that the fit is what I wanted (I had told myself it was after seeing it online, but theres nothing like a test drive to make you sure.) The sales agent I had was super informative. I had done a lot of research about that specific car before coming in, but he still managed to answer all my questions and show me a ton of new features. My sales agent definitely did his part to try to get me to buy the car- they definitely tried to make a sale happen. But I was clear about not wanting to buy today, and besides a small push to see if they could make something happen, they were very respectful of that and I never felt like they were pressuring me to buy a vehicle. I went to quite a few dealerships in the last few days, and this is the only one I didn't walk away feeling like I had somehow managed to successfully fend off a greasy dog. That alone ensures me that when I am finally ready to come make my purchase (Probably in about two weeks) - This will be the first place I stop at.

I recently purchased a 2014 CR-V from Coggin and had a great experience. I loathe buying a new car and was not looking forward to it! I searched online for a CR-V (never a doubt in my mind that I would buy another CR-V - my old one had more than 200,000 miles with never a problem) and found one I was interested in at Coggin. I contacted internet sales and Cassie immediately emailed me back. She was busy with another customer when we arrived to look at the car to Laurie Bronfin took over for her. Laurie was very knowledgeable of the CR-V, showed us underneath the hood, explained the safety systems in the car, went over the car from front to back. I had not intended to buy a new CR-V but we were able to get such a great deal at Coggin that I could afford a 2014. Everyone we worked with at Coggin was very pleasant and professional but Laurie went above and beyond - would love to buy all my future cars from her!

I have always had Hondas, so when My fiance and I decided it was time to trade in my 05 accord, I knew I wanted a new accord! I decided to give Coggin Honda on Atlantic a try because they were close to home even though I've always used Duval Honda. I originally went online and did an estimate to see what my car was worth, within an hour, I had a voicemail from Laurie B in internet sells. Laurie is absolutely the "customer advocate". She is pure JOY and nothing less than the easiest, most understanding sells person ever. She actually listens and goes above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy. When it comes to financing, we sat down with Josh. First of all, Josh is hilarious. He made everything understandable to both of us and literally worked his tail off to get all the numbers exactly where we wanted them. Amazing service from both parties and I know I can call either one of them at anytime with any questions I might have. I took my Odyssey in for an oil change. The service was fairly quick, even though it was a Saturday and I didn't have an appointment. When testing showed that my battery needed to be replaced, the service person looked up the warranty and confirmed coverage without my having to ask. I had an appointment to get a regular oil change. Upon arrival my attendant told me they were short staffed but didn't say anything about wait time. Now I have never done an oil change but have watched a friend do it in 15 minutes so I know t is not a very involved process. After waiting 2 hours and 15 minutes, I found someone to ask about my vehicle. I didn't end up leaving for another 30 minutes! They ended up having to replace the battery. It was under warranty so I didn't mind, but no one informed me before they did it either. I probably would have waited unless it was urgent because I had two young toddlers I watch with me. Now that is a ridiculous amount of time (even if you include the battery) for someone to wait who made an appointment....for just an oil change! And I appreciate that they had a children's center to wait in, but that room was filthy! I understand they were short staffed, but they could have considered that before making so many appointments.

This was our first visit to Coggin Honda as we only recently moved to Jacksonville. Our Honda CR-V was due for an oil change so we scheduled an appointment and were assigned A.J. as our service rep. He is TERRIFIC!!! Very customer-service oriented. Checked with us while we were waiting to see if we needed anything (i.e., bottled water, etc.). The dealership has several waiting areas ~ a quiet area for those of us who prefer to read, a movie theater-type area with a large screen TV and refreshments, and a free Wi-Fi computer area with complimentary use of two computers. Everyone there was friendly and accommodating. When the service techs were through, A.J. explained what additional services are needed, together with estimates, explaining that none of the 3 were major issues requiring immediate service, just something we need to address in the next month or two. When A.J. had our car brought to us, it had been washed and was spotless (we'd been on a trip previous to our appointment so the vehicle was covered with Florida's infamous lovebugs). His crew had cleaned ever last squished bug off the car windshield and grill. What an unexpected and wonderful surprise! Kudos to A.J., all the techs and Coggin Honda. Good, honest, hard-working folks who know the value of customer service. We will definitely be back!

I took my 2011 CR-V in for an oil change and 45,000 mile service on June 7. Michael Hernandez was my service advisor. It was a very busy Saturday at Coggin Honda. Regardless, my car was ready quickly. Oil changed, tires rotated, and even washed! As usual, I was not sold anything I didn't need. I have always taken my CR-V to Coggin since purchasing it new from them in January of 2011. I would never go anywhere else.

I would not recommend Coggin Honda for used cars to my worst enemy. I am Active Duty Navy, married and mother of a 3 month old, who went to buy a used Smart car on April 26, 2014. I brought by husband and 3 month old baby. There was nothing redeeming about this car buying experience. They took way too much time to process our sale - almost 5 hours! They delivered the car in terrible condition - it wasn't washed, the inside of the windows weren't cleaned, the dash had dust on it, the carpet had leaves on it, and it smelled bad. You could still see the remnants of the stickers on the windows. It was a quarter tank down in gas. I was so ready to leave that I didn't complain at the time. I called later and complained to James Foreman, the finance person who processed our sale. He said that he noticed it was dirty but didn't say anything at the time. If he noticed it was dirty, he should have done something to fix it! He said that he trusted that our salesperson, Kristian Voges, cleaned it. When I told him about it not being filled with gas, he said that that was common with their used cars. That is disgraceful. When I told him I'd never been delivered a car, new or used, that wasn't fully cleaned, he said that they detailed it when it came on the lot, but not since, and acted like I was crazy to expect it to be fully cleaned. The attitude that used cars don't deserve to be filled up and fully cleaned upon delivery was unbelievable. Then, he said that I needed to come back in to sign something that he'd forgotten to have me sign and that he would "see" about getting my car cleaned and filled up. Are you serious? You are going to bribe me into "maybe" getting my car cleaned and filled up in order for me to do you a favor? I said no and they sent a driver to have me sign the paperwork. Then, my brother, who is in the car sales business on the West coast, called and complained as well. They offered to have me come in to have it cleaned and filled up. I went in on May 4th and it took them almost 2 hours to clean and fill it up! They said that the new cars would have priority. When I arrived, one salesperson actually said that they don't fill up their used cars and that mine would be in line for detailing behind the trade-in he just acquired. They made me wait while a car that had just been traded in was being worked on. No one was waiting on that car. The customer service was laughable. After I complained about how long it was taking, I finally got my car back and of course they did a terrible job. Upon opening the doors, you could see the door jambs were dirty and wet, the back hadn't been vacuumed and the dash hadn't been even wiped down. It is a two door Smart car! It is the easiest and smallest car to clean! James got some papertowels to dry it off himself. I was just disgusted and ready to leave. Now, he has called again for me to correct some other paperwork he messed up. If this is how they treat their active duty military, if this is how they treat their families with babies with them, I cannot even imagine how they treat the average person off the street. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for a used car.

We did not purchase our current vehicle from Coggin Honda (due to a poor sales experience a number of years ago), but was interested in having some accessories purchased & installed since this dealership is closer to our home than the dealership where we purchased our vehicle. Called to get an estimate on the parts & was put into "Amanda's" voice mail...this was in mid-March & to this day she has yet to return my call. In any event, I called back a day or two later to try to get the estimate - spoke with a nice lady, Amy, who provided me the information I needed. I told her I would need to speak with my husband. Since that time, we have decided to proceed forward with the purchase of the accessories & the installation. I called the dealership yesterday morning to speak about another issue I am experiencing with my vehicle & to order the parts & set up installation. The service department had to transfer me to "Amanda" again regarding the accessories. Surprise! I had to leave a voice message & as expected, "Amanda" has yet to return my call. Has anyone ever wondered how many customers Coggin Honda has lost because of this "Amanda"? I called the dealership today to try to speak with "Amanda" - was placed on hold & was never transferred - I eventually hung up & I have since done what I knew I should have done to begin with & that is to contact my original dealership...I will happily make the drive to Steve Lucas Honda where I am treated as a valued customer & not ignored or belittled as Coggin Honda has repeated done to us on several occasions now.

Went to dealership, car was in shop for 'transmission repairs'. Subsequently recieved followup emails from the salesman (several), General Manager and Internet Sales Manager. I responded to each and have yet to receive a reply that showed any of my comments regarding experience to date have evven been read. Car is still shown as available on their website.

I found a vehicle I wanted to buy, at first we couldn't come to an agreement so I left. I received several phone calls asking if we were still interested in the vehicle as they were still trying to make a deal. After several phone calls we reached the deal I wanted. The manager Daniel, made an appointment with me to buy the car at 2:30 PM on Saturday, when I got there at 1:40, Daniel stated that he had good news and bad news for me. He says "the bad news is they sold the car less than one hour ago, the good news is we have other cars you might be interested in". My thought was "no kidding this is a car lot, there is no good news here". It was no problem for them to call me at least 3 times a day trying to work a deal, but somehow they forgot how to call me to let me know the car had been sold. Integrity with this car dealer is a myth, all they want is your hard earned money. This time it cost them a customer. I feel sorry for my sales person she really did work hard to sell me a car.

Great Service Provided on my 2013 Honda CR-V. Drove all the way from Cocoa Beach, FL and was treated like a King. Raymond the Service Manager provided me with exceptional service. I was updated during the service process with a fair estimate of what my service would cost me. All employees that I came in contact with greeted me with a smile and positive attitude and made me feel welcomed during my service visit. The The dealership was exceptionally clean. My husband and I recently bought a new 2014 from Laurie. We LOVED her!!! She was super easy to work with!!! The day we bought the car we had our 4 and 6 year old girls with us. Buying a car is a process as most know. Laurie had a lot of patience with them through the entire process. Also we did some communicating over email, and when I came in I had no surprises. Everything was just like she said it would be. There were NO headaches for us!!! I also had to come in to have the car tinted, interior/exterior protection, and a gasket seal around the driver's door replaced. She set it all up with Amanda in service (who was great), and everything was handled perfectly!!! NO headaches from start to finish!!! I had to come on here and let everyone know how absolutely amazing this dealership is. Our experience was great. Everyone is so friendly- from the time you first arrive, to the end of the entire process. Cassie Pfenning was our sales person and she was so helpful and kind- she wouldn't stop until we got what we needed at a price we could afford. Kelly was in charge of finance, and he is such a nice and helpful person as well. He makes you feel comfortable and makes sure all of your questions are answered. We spoke through email to Kristen, and on the phone to Melvin when we had questions, and they were nothing but nice and answered every single question we had while waiting for our financing to go through. Jim's service was fantastic! I dropped my car off with him for service repairs and was off the lot in no time, and I only had to wait a day to have my car serviced. Jim's work was fast and orderly, and he was extremely informative about what was going on inside my car and how they were repairing it. He explained to me how the parts worked and why they weren't working, and how the service team was going to go about fixing it. first of all i would like to start off by saying wow what a great experience! i came up to Honda off Atlantic to see a car! and was blown away at the way! I came to Coggin Honda on Atlantic to look at pruchasing a vehcile to replace my 2000 Chrysler 300M, which required ecessive repairs for what I paid for it. I ended up test driving a couple of cars and felt comfortable in a 2011 Honda Civic with about 34,000 miles. Suzan and Destiny were very courteous and patience throughout the buying process, which made the porcess easier being my first financed vehicle. I ended up getting a great deal on a vehicle that I know is dependable if taken care of from my dad's experience with a Honda. His '91 Accord has been dependable throughout my life and has made a great impression of the longevity I want in my vehicle.

I've been a service customer here for almost 9 years now and purchased two cars here. I've had dealings with new car sales, used car sales, finance and service. I've received the best deals of all the dealerships in northeast Florida when I purchased the two cars here. Most recently I purchased a used Pilot. There were a few issues with the car and I brought it back several times and they corrected the brakes and alignment for no charge. I know most of the people in the service area but prefer dealing with Alison Davis (sorry guys but she's the best). Alison is friendly thorough and gets me in and out quickly for oil changes. I also know most of the technicians by name and trust them all. I could do business at a closer Honda dealer but I will stay loyal to Coggin because they have treated me well and I value our relationship-thank you Coggin Honda!

I knew it was about time for a new car but really dreaded going to a dealership due to past experiences. An acquaintance of mine kept talking about the Honda CRV and how great it was. I have always been a Toyota person but as I drove to work and around town I kept looking at the different vehicles on the road and I really did like the looks of the Honda's. I decided I would go to Coggin and take a look at what they had to offer. I was introduced to Magali Krotzer one of Coggin's sales team. I ended up test driving the CRV and I was hooked. I loved the style and the way it handled. Magali (Magic) was informative, answered by endless questions and did not pressure or rush me even when I changed my mind several times about the color I wanted. It definitely was the best "dealership" experience I have ever had. I would highly recommend Coggin Honda. Also, the showroom was very neat and clean and the amenities were great.

I just purchased my brand new 2013 Honda Civic in December and the entire experience surpassed my expectations, which being the demanding consumer that I am, it is something nearly impossible to accomplish. I had the first service appointment for my vehicle yesterday and again, the experience was beyond what anyone could expect from a Service Center. My Service Advisor is MIKE HERNANDEZ. Mr. Hernandez loves what he does and it shows. The level of professionalism, knowledge, integrity and commitment portrayed by Mike is impressive. He is a wealth of information and goes above and beyond to assure that his customers receive the utmost attention from the moment you walk through the door, while you wait, and at checkout. He made us feel at home. Took very good care of us and made sure we didn't need anything while we waited. Once our car was ready (and perfectly washed), he again, explained all the particulars to us and gave us a brief orientation as to what to expect and how we should keep up with the required maintenance on the vehicle so it will render the best performance. For the first time, when I was asked if I had any questions I was actually able to say no. He covered all the bases and delivered 200% customer satisfaction. I've been servicing my 2005 minivan since it was purchased new at this dealership. Jim B. is a great service person and very knowledgable, friendly and helpful. I used to work on my own cars until they got too complicated with all the sensors, but I still know enough to know when I'm not being told the truth. This has happened at another Honda dealership near the Avenues, but never from Jim at Coggin. DJ, the mechanic gets to the bottom of the problem and doesn't make stuff up -- something else that I've had happen elsewhere. I can highly recommend Jim B in service and the overall experience at Coggin Honda. The only complaint is that they don't always have the needed parts when fixing the older the vans and of course, nothings cheap, but they are certainly competitive with other dealerships. Their shuttle service has been good and helpful.

We dropped our 2009 Fit off for service this morning for an oil change and to have the front brakes replaced. We purchased the car from this dealership and have taken it back for all service work. We dropped the car off at 7:00 AM and then my wife got a call before 8:30 from a Thomas Tynan who told her that when they were doing a multi-point inspection, they discovered that the air filter was not the correct filter for the car. He implied that it must have been installed somewhere else that we had work done. When my wife told him that we have only taken it to this dealership for all service, he said he would have to investigate and get back to us. He later called back and stated that it was a Honda filter, but not the right size filter. He stated that it was dirty and needed to be replaced. Had he looked at our service records he would have seen when the filter was installed at the dealer and that they put the wrong filter in. This should have been done before calling us. So not only did he not check this out before calling and insinuating that we had work done somewhere else, he never acknowledged that if was your service dept that put in the wrong filter when it was replaced at 40K. Even we could see the part number was not the same as the previous filter that had been replaced at 23K. Not only did he not apologize to my wife on the phone who was upset, but when we went to pick the car up, he had another opportunity to do so, and did not. I asked what the story was with the air filter, and he nonchalantly responded that it looks like they used a filter for a Honda Civic instead of a Fit and it was only slightly different in size. Because he could tell my wife was upset when he called her back, he took 10% off of the bill, but never acknowledged that it was their mistake in using the wrong part, or apologized for getting my wife upset in the first place by placing a call that should have never been made. Aside from the lousy customer service, it now has us wondering if the wrong parts have been used for other maintenance we've had done there. The reason we've taken it to the dealer is so that the appropriate Honda parts are used. This experience is not consistent with the experience that my wife has had there in the past, but it now has us second guessing what dealership we should use for service or car purchases in the future.

We took our Honda Civic SI into dealership because they said our Honda civic si had a recall on the paint so we took it in Oct.2013 to paint were the clear coat was coming off. They told us to give them a week to paint the bad areas so we did a week went by and I went back to get my car and the Manager Greg walked around the car with me and agreed that the car wasn't done right so back in the paint shop it went they called me after a week and said my car looked good and I could come pick it up. So back down there I went to find that it looked the same as when I took it in the first time! Again they said that they would paint it right and I will get a call when the car is painted properly. A week in a half later the manage Greg said to come down that he went an checked personal and the paint on the car looked good. So this is the fourth time we went in to get our car and ones again it looked like they burnt the drivers side door of my car trying to get the clear coat off?? We have picture to show the damage they did! I'm sure they were driving my car to there is a scratch on the rim and a cut on the tire left front. Also inside they had a drink and it slipped and there was mold all over driver seat. I don't drink or eat in my car ever! We have pictures of that too. We wouldn't recommended taking your car to the service dept, at Coggin Honda of Jacksonville, Fl. So upset with them!!!!!!!

I was looking for an Audi for a year, I have visited few dealerships and was not able to find "the one". Until I decided randomly to stop by Coggin Honda on my way to work. I briefly described to Daniil what I am looking, he took my phone number and told me that he will find exactly what I am looking for. I had no hope at all since other few sales people from the other dealerships I called stated the same thing. He called me back the very next day asking to stop by to look at what he has found. I had a choice of 3 great cars at a very reasonable price. Car was brought to Jacksonville within 20 hours, When I picked it up it was very clean and shiny. Daniil has exceeded my expectations. His ability to listen to the client and understand what client is looking for is perfect. Also, another very important thing that I really liked, he made the process of buying a car and trading in an old one very very simple.

I originally stopped to look at used Accords and met Joanna. She was very friendly, low key and helpful. While there I decided to check out the closeout deals on the 2013 Civics. Joanna did not hesitate a moment or try to convince me to buy from her (on the used car side). She got me over to the new car lot where I met Amy. We looked at the Civics and took a test drive. I mentioned how I had not put the Civic on my short list of cars for my wife since my past experience was it was a great car mechanically with nice styling but had too much road and wind noise. I was impressed that Honda had finally addressed that problem so I made an appointment to bring my wife in. Amy was very knowledgable about the car, did a great job showing and explaining all the new "bells & whistles", and like Joanna, was not pushy about buying in any way. Later they followed up with reminders about the appointment and did a great job demonstrating the car to my wife, who had previously not been leaning toward a compact car. When it was time for the negotiating the process was friendly and professional. They bargained hard for their side as I did for mine and I felt that in the end I got an excellent deal. Dennis handled the closing and is very efficient as well as personable. All in all, this car buying experience is far different than any I've had in the past 50 years. They got me to buy a new car for the first time ever! If you are considering a Honda, new or used, I'd recomment Coggin Honda and Joanna & Amy.

Let me start by stating that I have been a loyal Ford customer since 1996. I recently purchased a Flex Limited and I have to say that I should have stopped by Coggin Honda first!. I was looking for a car for my 16 year old son. Alberto took care of us and absolutely delivered. The product knowledge, respect and customer service I received was beyond what I ever got. The most impressive was the way Alberto addressed my son, every question my son had was answered by Yes Sir or No Sir. Something you do not see often as everyone see the kid rather than the customer. Vey professional and impressive. Alberto introduced me to Ibrahima Samba (Business Manager) and this experience was absolutely incredible as well. we ended up purchasing a 2013 Civic EX. I was dreading purchasing a car. I was referred to Jim Warren by my daughter. We spoke on the phone and I let him know what I was looking for and he pointed out some vehicles on line. I made an appointment and my husband and I went to the dealership and met with Jim. Very pleasant! He referred us to his great internet sales lady, Joanna Gee, who took us out to the lot and let us look at the cars I had spoke with Jim about. She was very knowledgeable about the vehicles and answered all our questions. They both allowed my husband and I to speak amongst ourselves without feeling any kind of pressure. We were immediately drawn to the vehicle that I ended up purchasing. They made sure the vehicle was detailed and all cleaned up while we were doing the paper work. We also did not feel pressured doing the finance part of it. (the part I hate!) He was also very pleasant, patient and understanding when we asked questions also.Thank you in general for a great experience. I will definitely refer friends and family to Jim Warren and Joanna Gee.PS.....I love my car! :)

promotion code PC12312011. After the sale, we were given an appointment to have the Lojack system installed. Upon arrival at the service area for the scheduled appointment, we were told "the lady that handles that service" was not going to be in and we needed to reschedule. After finally getting the Lojack installed, we scheduled an appointment to install add-on accessories we had purchased, i.e. door edge guards, door visors, moonroof visor, and tailgate visor. All were installed except the tailgate spoiler, which we were told was "on back order". It is hard to believe that with so many Honda dealers in Jacksonville that a tailgate spoiler was NOT available! No tentative date could be scheduled for installation, so we are waiting to hear when that can be scheduled for installation. At the time of giving us the information to write a review, we were told to "do the survey because we need all 5 star ratings from you". We think 5 star ratings should be EARNED by better customer service after the sale, rather than by REQUEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recently filed for bankruptcy. My discharge is fresh out of the oven. I received a voucher notice from another Coggin location offering a deep discount for people in my situation. I stopped in to verify the notice but I felt uncomfortable. It was as if I was being pushed and prodded. They were all Nice guys, but something wasn't right. Subsequently, I read a review online about the Jacksonville location. I called and asked for James Foreman, the sales agent that the article was about. Needless to say, it turned out to be the smartest move. He immediately met me with tremendous product knowledge and in sight with regard to Honda, its brand, and dedication to reliability. I had special financial circumstances so he paired me with Ibrahima Samba (Samba for short) - The Business Manager. After reviewing the options with Samba, we were able to close a very nice deal with a 2009 Honda Accord EX-L. I can't say enough about these guys. They are great at what they do. All the best. I am now a loyal Honda customer.

Great overall experience. Best price for a 2013 Honda Accord around - I actually drove up from Tampa because I couldn't find a dealership that could match their price. Only thing I could possibly complain about is the return on my trade-in, but I also understand that they need to make some money on their end with the trade-in. Danny Stevens worked the sale with me and he was awesome! He stayed late (nearly 2hrs late) to work through the buying process with my wife and I. He was very nice and didn't seem like your typical car dealer. Great overall experience!

The car I purchased was a Volkswagen EOS which I spotted on the lot when driving by one evening. I submitted an inquiry online and very shortly afterwards received a call from Cassie Pfenning to set up a test drive. Cassie met me when I arrived and promptly got me on the road. Even though this car was not a Honda product, Cassie was very knowledgeable and able to address my questions. After sleeping on it I returned the following day to purchase my car. Both days at the dealership were easy experiences and everyone I met (especially Ms. Pfenning) were courteous and professional. A special note needs to be made about Kelly in the finance department. He was fun to work with and made a tedious process more enjoyable. Plus, (and a BIG plus), he found financing for almost 3% LOWER than what I secured on my own. Great service all the way around!

My family and I would like to thank James Foreman, Sales Consultant, for all of his help. When we first arrived to look at the Civic, James gave us a "tour" of the car. He explained every feature the car had from the engine to the trunk, the durability and safety features of the car, and that was just the outside. He gave us the same detailed explanation of the inside when we took it for a test drive. I look at Honda Civics with a new respect! We have visited many car lots and we have never experienced that type of customer service before. James made us feel as though he was sincerely concerned about our decision to purchase a vehicle and not just an end of the month quota. He made every effort to make sure we were happy with the vehicle by the time we left. Great professionalism James! Thanks again!

he said if i cancel gap and xtented warrnty before 6 months completion of from date of purchase, i would get 100% back what i paid... And i did in the same way after 2 months but he charged me for doing that.... After many calls, days , emails he finally accepted that it was his mistake to tell like that and could not refund my money back .... If he is not clear of the polices he shouldn't tell that to the customers

Morris was great. He's a straight shooter that doesn't play the games that most sales people play. Because of this, we were able to come to an agreement on price in a very short amount of time. I was in the market for an SUV that had pretty much all the bells and whistles. After spending quite a bit of time on sites like Edmunds looking at different brands I narrowed my choice down to three the Honda CRV EX-L with NAV, Mazda CX-5 Limited, And Toyota Rav4 Limited. I consider all of these vehicles top notch and pretty much have the same amenities with a few exceptions so it really all comes down to price and the sales people. First stop was the Mazda, this was my favorite as far as style went. Too bad they really just did not want to deal on it, their loss the way I see it. Next up was Toyota They offered me a pretty good deal and I liked some of the features on the Rav that are not on the CRV but we just couldn't get to the bottom number. Last up was Honda after driving the car I liked it even though as for looks it was my third pick and featue wise it was missing keyless entry, memory driver seat, and remote tail gate. In the end it comes down to value, sales personnel, how the dealership makes you feel about your buying experience and what it will be like when the vehicle needs to be serviced.Coggin Honda gets a high five from me on all accounts so far. I can't speak of service yet as I only just bought the car. But they are great in the sales area. One other thing I was raly impressed with was on the test drive I did not feel as though I was being pressured to bring the car back as quickly as possible. My only negative comment is I got four follow up calls from the dealership asking me how I liked the car. I guess this is actually a good thing and some folks might actually appreciate it but for me two would have been about enough.

Bottom Line Up Front (BLUF): I got an amazing deal using USAA buying program. Mark Kennedy was very courteous, extremely professional, and gave me an outstanding customer service experience. I highly recommend seeking him out! I am a satisfied customer with Coggin.At Coggin Honda Jacksonville, we take pride in our superior customer service and nothing is more important to us than providing our customers with the best service in Jacksonville, serving Jacksonville Beach, Brunswick, St. Augustine, Orange Park and Ponte Vedra, FL.1. Dealers leave no money on the table so you shouldn't as well. Do your due diligence and come prepared. It is not the dealer's job or desire to educate you on getting the most car for your money. Coggin lived up to this mantra! 2. Damon Darden honored the USAA certificate and paid off the remaining two payments of my current lease to sell me a car today. Unfortunately, the dealer added $995 worth of options called Pro Package (Nitro tires, Wheel locks, trunk tray, splash guard, and door edge film), at 100% mark up. All five items sold separately for about $500. Still an overall ok deal! 3. When asked for a quote to add accessories such as a deck lid spoiler, or illum etc. during purchase, it was quoted at 150% mark up. Needless to say, I declined but was disappointed they couldn't give me the store price. Yes, I understand about the 3/36 warranty that covers options but not worth 150% mark up. I felt I was being taken and lost some confidence in the folks who were talking me up for a purchase.Finance:Coggin Honda Jacksonville understands that financing a new or used car can be an intimidating process which is why we strive to provide our customers with as much information as possible regarding the purchase process. I wouldnt use intimidating. Use complicated. Its a process designed to protect the dealership and most frustrating for the consumer. 4. Finance manager, Sergiy Bilyayev, though began our finance portion with patience and courteousness, quickly got impatient and frustrated with me (a Honda customer who is about to sign for a purchase of a 2013 Accord Touring) because I was catching financial errors that were to my disadvantage. Things happen, humans are emotional beings, but Coggin's employee (Sergiy) forgot that I was THE customer. When I asked for the companys policy if I got home and noticed another error on my financial form, he told me the form is computer generated and I will find no errors. Customers are not forced to buy if they dont want to. So basically he has no concerns if I leave the final process. Suspect that this wasnt his intentions but stated it none-the-less. Stephen Brandt, the finance director, apologized and professionally finished the process. 5. All in all, consumers are no longer unarmed when it comes to information on new car purchases. That is not to say, dealers dont still have an advantage. Dealers, in this case Coggin, should take note that todays customers are aware and adjust their customer service to account for that. Any answer given on price, options, finance, discounts, warranties, delivery, fees, etc. can easily be researched to confirm how honest and customer friendly a dealership really purports to be.

Purchased 2013 Honda Ridgeline early June 2013. First corresponded with Michael Aguilar via social media to see if desired vehicle was in fact on the lot as well as advertised internet price. Michael called back and informed me that the desired vehicle was still available and at the advertised price on the internet. Set up appointment to met with Michael Aguilar the next day and purchased vehicle. Sales Manager did in fact give me the money I had asked for when I started to negotiate for my trade in. I had check in hand from my local banking institution with a great interest rate, finance department offered to beat the rate I had received from my bank, which they did. Glad I did not pass up the opportunity.

Jim Warren emailed me early in the day that I would be working with salesman Alberto Diaz. I called Alberto to verify they had a 2013 silver FIT available at the .9 60 month apr. Less than five minutes, Jim Warren called me back with info that this FIT was there and available at the .9 60 month financing, and we made an appointment for 2:30 pm. I pulled in at 2:35 pm and Alberto was waiting for me just outside the front door of Coggin Honda (I recognized him from the photo which had been included in Jim Warren's or Alberto's email. My wife was with me, and we sat down in Alberto's office as I gave Alberto the key to my 1998 Honda Ex Civic, which I was planning to trade in if I purchased the new FIT. Before we arrived at Coggin, I had researched what the online going rate for the FIT was, and what and where I was able to find the lowest out-the-door charge. Alberto and Jim were able to beat this best price, and we agreed to buy the car. Alberto had my wife and me go to another young man's office - Kelly, who is in charge of finances. He asked me and my wife to sign many papers (we are vegan vegetarians, and he disappeared at some point and came back with several vegan "candy" bars of nuts and other e and nutritious items. This came at a good time because my wife and I were both getting a little hungry (we had been at the site for over 3 1/2 hours). Kelly came back not only with these nutty treats, but the info that we had received the .9 APR sales rate for 60 months, and exactly what our monthly payments would be. We were thrilled with everyone's honesty, directness, and integrity. It was an extremely pleasurable experience, and we sincerely thank all of these people.

I had a very solid experience working with Coggin Honda, specifically Cassie and Paul. I came into the dealership after falling in love with a preowned 2011 Mazda3 iTouring that was posted on Coggin Honda's website. Cassie was flexible about meeting with me for a test drive and then worked around my crazy schedule to discuss buying. My husband and I did not want to finance, so there was a price range we were looking to stay within for our purchase. I did most of my car shopping alone, so I was communicating "updates" to him via text while he was at work. Cassie was very patient with our situation and even suggested taking the car home overnight so that my husband would get a chance to see and drive it before buying. Paul and Cassie gave us a great price on our trade-in vehicle and we walked out with a FANTASTIC price on the Mazda3. Most everyone I dealt with from Cassie and Paul in Sales, to Kelly Mabrey and Michael Huang in Finance - who I only talked to for a few moments - was friendly and easy to work with! I highly recommend making this a stop in your next search for a new or used car!

This was absolutely the best experience I have had with a dealership! From the moment I contacted them I could tell that they really wanted me to have the car I wanted and they worked with me to make that happen.My deal started over the internet and phone with Jim, "Chief" the internet sales manager. From there I dealt with Michael Huang. Let me just say that when I started the deal I didn't have much faith that it was going to work out. I was upside down in the car that I was driving. I had tried several other dealerships to no avail. These people worked with me to get a deal that my husband and I were very happy with. I sent them pictures of the car I was driving and gave them the mileage and such and they gave me an estimate over the phone. Of course I would have to bring it in for them to see it in person, but when I did, it was exactly like they promised. I drove to the dealership after work and my new car was sitting there washed and waiting for me! I was treated like royalty from the moment I walked in the door! I almost expected things to change when I got there in person but they didn't.I went for a test drive with Michael and signed the paperwork. It was pretty late after all that but Michael still took the time to show me everything about the car. He even helped me set up the wireless features. These people are awesome! Thank you Coggin, love my new Honda!

Remember this name Daniel Stevens. Let me start off by saying I hate buying a car. I usually go through a car broker just so I don't haveto step one foot on a dealership lot. I can not stand the sales pitch from car sales people. What can I do today to have you drive thiscar off the lot today! You say a price they say come on in lets talk and we can get you to that price. Ok, after several times the sales personhas to go talk to the next level of management. You want to scream. Can I just talk to the person you are talking to and cut to the chase. O,they will get you to any price you want. A 5 year loan that you end up paying more in interest than you did for the car itself. NONE... of this happened to me while working with Daniel Stevens. As a matter of fact I left and came back to the dealership a coupleof times. I chatted via internet and phone with Daniel. I went to other dealerships, I shopped around but kept coming back to Daniel. All Danielkept saying was, "Thank you" for just walking onto our lot today. Ok, did Coggin Honda send their sales people to a new school of how to sella car or was Daniel the real deal? Daniel is way to laid back to sell cars I thought. Guess what, he sold me one! Still can not believehis ease of talking with me. Never pressured me, never made me feel bad when I said. I have to sleep on this. He just let me come and go.What dealership lets you come and go without saying, let's sign today, come inside let's talk to my boss, do you want to finance, what doyou have to trade in. We can get to your price. No you can't. No you won't. Daniel Stevens crushed numbers and I drove off with a car.I am still in shock! Please, everyone ask for Daniel Stevens. I saw EXACTLY what I was looking for online on the CogginHondaJacksonville.com in the used inventory tab. I called the sales department (where nobody answered and I got a voicemail) and shortly later Derrick in Used cars calls me back and tells me the vehicle I want is indeed still there. I tell him how much I am willing to spend as well as tell him ALL about my Honda Accord I want to trade in. He assures me that he has run it by the Sales Manager John and that their will be absolutely no problem making this work. So as a returning veteran from Afghainistan I have saved up money and want to do this deal. I head immediately over to the dealership right after work. I am greeted properly by Derrick and the rest of the staff and we have a seat. I once again explained to both Derrick and John why I am there, how much money I have to spend and all about my Accord for trade in, when they tell me "we have made a mistake and no longer have the vehicle you are interested in" but go on to tell me they have two other vehicles (less miles and newer year) and will acknowledge that promised deal. We continue out to look at the as well as test drive them. We go on inside to play the "dreaded number game" when Derrick and John come back with a number $10,000 more then I had told them I had to spend. Not to mention, we had to pull over on the highway because the vehicle was vibrating and the wheel was pulling. 3 HOURS later I am let down and leave, meanwhile this is after John, with his tilted "gangster hat" stated I never told him my goal on how much I had to spend. The place is awful, unprofessional, dirty and a complete scam. Their are so many more proffesional dealerships on Atlantic Blvd.

I was very impressed with the appearance of the dealership. Our salesman Gabriel Valenzuela was very informative and took a great deal of time with us. We looked at several models and finally found one that suited our need. Gabriel was very thorough in explaining all the paperwork so that we knew all the fine print. He also worked very hard to get as many extras as he could for us. We knew what we could spend when we went in and we weren't going to budge from that price. He did not high pressure us at all. Tony the finance manager was very thorough in explaining all of the paperwork and I have to give him an A+ too. Sometimes buying a new car can be a horror and I hate to be pressured but this dealership and our salesman made us feel very comfortable and at home.

My visit to this dealer was reccommened by a friend who knew someone who worked there. I called and was given a sales associate. The associate was Xaviera Williams.I was greeted so warmly, first by the receptionist, then Ms. Williams. The experience for me, a buyer without my husband's guidance, was most educational and pleasant. Ms. Williams' experience as a sales associate put my mind at ease. Excellent work by Internet Sales rep Daniel Stevens and sales rep Ernesto Cordero. Kelly Mabrey was very helpful getting through the initial paperwork. I had to follow-up on my own to receive a check due me on the trade, because I could not reach anyone (Ernesto who was to be my contact person, I was told) by phone to assist me in collecting the trip. I had to go to the dealership and track things down on my own. I was promised this check on Tues. morning, and it was only prepared because I came out to the dealership. Mr. Mabrey was not supposed to be in (day off) but I was able to see him and get things taken care of in getting the check. If Mr. Mabrey had not been in, this would have been much more of a hassle than it already was for me. If no one returns calls because they are "too busy" (what the receptionist implied about reaching Ernesto)...that's not fun for the customer. All-in-all, it was a good experience that, with the proper follow-up by the dealership, would have been excellent.

We worked with several of the staff that were simply professional, courteous and efficient. It was Thanksgiving Day, and they were open for a half day! Wow, it was a great time to buy a car. I worked with two different salespeople: Howard Demps and Xavier Vincent. They were exceptional and quick to help us. They both took the time to understand our needs, and help us make the right decision that would enable us to accomplish our goal of a new Honda. In addition, we felt that the General manager, Damon, also had our interest at heart...truly - versus some other places that just seemed to want to "move the metal." A great experience all around, and one we don;t take lightly as it is not something we do very often (our trade-in had 192,000 miles on it!).

Stay away from financing at this dealership. Make sure to have financing already lined up from an outside lender, and do not agree to any additional product; you can always get it cheaper elsewhere and often you're not even getting what you are told that you're signing up for. They will lie to you about the cost and coverage of warranties without blinking an eye. Often the price they show you on the screen isn't what they will print out on the contract, so be careful! If you're going to shop here you need to negotiate the price on the vehicle only and go there with check in hand.

I am going to be as straight and honest as I can. The ONLY reason your dealership was able to sell us a car was the performance of Mr. Merricks. We had done a lot of investigation on various types of manufacturers but never considered a Honda Fit due to our ignorance. We stopped at Lucas Honda to look at one and decided that the Fit was what we were interested in buying. Unlike other dealers Mr. Merricks didn't come across overbearing and was willing to work with us. The sale came down to two dealers after getting quotes, Lucas and Coggin. We had already been to Lucas and had been stood up on phone calls, and pestered by multiple people even after I had asked to only deal with the salesman (Joe) that I made the mistake of giving my cell phone number to. We decided to speak with Mr. Merricks because he was not overbearing but persistent, patient and courteous. Hands down the best salesman I have worked with. Not to mention he came in on his day off to close this deal. My hero.

Ray in the service department is always very helpful and courteous. He truly seems to care about his customers and goes above and beyond to keep me informed on my service repairs. The day after my car was serviced my son's Honda needed some emergency repair. I was able to contact Ray and he tried to help us over the phone with some service advice. He then offered to come into work on a day that he was scheduled off in order to help us resolve the issue. Thank God the issue was resolved in a few hours with the help of Ray and the service department. Thank you Ray for your willingness to help!

I feel pretty disappointed with Coggin Honda. I sent an internet quote via their website, and the salesman called me. I told him directly that I was ready to buy the 2012 Honda Accord and I am just looking for the best deal I can get right now. I know that the 2013 models are on the way and they are fully redesigned, and if the 2012 accord price is not that good, then I would like to wait. (I know many people are in the same situation as me). If their offer is good, I would go there immediately. So the salesman told me that he will send me the OTD price. Then this is what I got: OTD $ 24,972.75 for Honda Accord 2012 LX standard without any add-ons. Are you kidding me?! I was so straightforward with you and you give me this quote? He told me that they cant give me the best offer on the phone or email because they worry that I will use their price to go to another dealer. But they are the one who kept asking me where I got my information, and what prices other dealers have offered me! This is what the internet salesmans email said: My job is to make sure I find the right vehicle for you that fits your budget, and with our 110% Price Protection Guarantee we will make sure you get the best price. And OTD $ 24,972.75 is the best price for a 2012 Honda Accord LX on 6/30/2012!! Really!?! I dont know if the problem is because I am an international student and my English is not that good or because I am a women that he treated me like I am an idiot, but anyway, I feel terrible and I want to share my terrible experience to all the people on this forum. I had an issue pop up on a 1 week old Pilot and Allison in service was able to rush me in and have the vehicle inspected for the problem. A few hours later the issue was resolved and I was on my way. I've been buying Honda's for years and only deal with the Coggin dealerships since their sales and service are far superior to the competetion.

The price negotiation of the car went fairly smoothly, but after that the buying experience quickly went downhill. After getting into his office, the finance manager David showed me a price list of the potential back-end I could purchase on my vehicle. I agreed to take the extended service contract, because the price seemed reasonable. When it came time to print up the final installment agreement, the price of the service agreement was much higher than what he had just shown me. Apparently, he claimed he had thought I wanted to go with a higher mileage warranty with better coverage. I hadnt asked for any such thing, but I brushed it off as an honest mistake. He adjusted the term, and re-printed the contract. Once again, the term was longer than I asked for and the price much higher. So he had to print the contract yet again. Finally he had the numbers right. Im glad I was on my toes and not just signing anything he put in front of me. I asked him to confirm, Is the term of this warranty starting today or from the time the vehicle was first delivered as new? He assured me the warranty started at signing and printed an in-service date on the contract to match. Luckily when I went home, I took the time to read over the fine print and found out he had outright lied to me. Even though the in-service date was printed as the date of signing, the back of the contract confirmed that an incorrect date printed on front would be over-ridden by January 1st of the vehicles model year. What I thought was a decent deal on a 7 year warranty turned out to be a worthless 2 year warranty, a year of which would overlap with my certified warranty. That was the first issue.The second problem arose with the actual financing. When applying for financing I emphasized I didnt want me credit shot gunned everywhere, and listed only 3 finance companies I wanted my information sent to; Ally, Vystar, and Chase, the only finance companies I have relationships with. The salesman even wrote these down when we negotiated the price to make sure my request was honored. And I thought it had been. When I went back to the dealership after the sale to have the bogus service contract removed from the paperwork, I asked that he send the loan through Vystar, because I knew the rate I would get and they were offering $100 back to finance through them. He confirmed that he would assign the loan to Vystar. To my surprise, today I received a welcome letter from Suntrust in the mail. Not only was it not Vystar as he had promised, but it wasnt even one of the lenders that I told him he could submit my credit information to.Stay away from financing at this dealership. Make sure to have financing already lined up from an outside lender, and do not agree to any additional product; you can always get it cheaper elsewhere and often you're not even getting what you are told that you're signing up for.

I wasn't 100% sure I wanted to get a new car unless I knew the price was competitive and that my budget could be worked with. Kelly Mabrey was nothing short of AMAZING. He was super patient, sincere, and helpful, not at all pushy. I felt he was working super hard to make me a happy customer. I called to see if I needed an appt to have an alignment. They said "no, just come on in." Upon arriving they told me that there was no way to get an alignment because they were booked all day. I told them I was just told on the phone to bring it in now and even made arrangements to have a friend follow me there so I wouldn't have to wait around all day and could run some errands. They said there was nothing they could do and just walked away. I waited around for another 15 minutes waiting to speak to someone else. Finally I talked to another person who was also rude. However because I was persistent they finally agreed to do the service but were obviously angry about having to do more work and possibly stay later. In the end, the work was done but the customer service was horrible and it gave a vey negative lasting impression.

So, buying a car is never easy. To be honest, it usually sucks. Bying my used 2011 accord was easy stress free and as odd as it sounds, it was fun! The sales man, George was helpful he pulled up all the cars I liked in a row, this really helped my decision. The price was easy, I told them what I wanted to pay monthly and they met it. The finacing was a joy as I got gap insurance and bumper to bumer for a very small additional fee each month. The finance guy REALLY worked for me. When I had to get an extra key made was the real topper that made this dealership the best. It was fast easy and they drove me to regency. EVERYONE here was nice, friendly and helpful. They did not act like they were in it for the money, they truley enjoyed selling their product. Most enjoyable car buying expirence ever! Thanks all at Coggin Honda!!!!! : )

A good group to work with, they were helpful in allowing me to follow up on some issues I had with tires and a new 2010 car. I had to buy a whole new set of tires for my insight that had not even gone 20k miles. The issue was with the tires and not with them, they did sopeedy and effective repairs, including adding the new tires. By that I mean, it was a half hour for the opil change, then with the news of the need for new tires, after I swallowed the pill about the new tires, they were able change the tires in 20min, My total time there was a little over an hour. This was a real time situation with real life issues. All in all, a good experience, and quick, with Coggin Honda at the Avenues. They help me take good care of my car.

I will never buy a car from Coggin again!!!!!!!!! Do not shop here unless you want to be lied to and charged for warranties that you told them you didn't want. The customer service is horrible at least when it comes to the used car and finance department. I talked to "managers" in both departments about my issues and the horrible customer service and they said they would check into my concerns and how to fix them and call me back. Needless to say I had to drive the 40+ miles to Coggin multiple times to try to get the issues fixed. It took forever and none of the so called managers seemed to care about the way I was treated. Here I am a month after purchasing a car and still haven't gotten everything straightened out. If they want to stay in business they might want to have their staff trained on proper customer service!

It's never good when I' m asking a questions through AutoTrader, and I get an email reply that just say's "click here for car fax .let me know when can you cam to test drive it .thank you George" Thanks, the ad on AutoTrader had a link to the free CARFAX. So I figured a request through Coggin's website might get me in touch with a more pleasant rep who might answer questions, and assist me with pictures. Guess who again?! George. His reply: "i do not have no more pick at the moment but i will tray to get with my camera and sen them to you .do not knoe about the a 2004 accident.but it is fix and car runs exelent ." I'm not giving my business to a "Sales and Leaase Consultant" that I probably won't understand. An internet sales rep might be a better idea to grab sales. Especially one who can answer questions, and write legibly.

If I had to recommend someone to get car repairs, I would most definetly tell them to visit clogging Honda in Jacksonville Florida if they want courteous service, also if they want efficient service. I have visited this dealer many times and I have not had a bad experience yet, and the one time that I did have a problem the manager took care of it right away.

I had a great experience buying a 2008 Odyssey EXL. I knew what I wanted, they had it and we were able to negotiate a deal in a few hours. This included getting a fair price for my trade-in vehicle. We settled on the Kelley Blue Book fair condition value which is what I hoped to get from a dealer. I could have done better if I sold it privately but the ease and speed compensated for it. Ibrahim was attentive and knowledgeable about the vehicle and made a normally uncomfortable experience tolerable (i.e. no high pressure tactics). There were a few things wrong with the car cosmetically and Ron, the manager was instrumental in ensuring the defects were fixed so we would be comfortable assuming ownership of the car. In addition, their finance manager Rogers was also extremely knowledgeable and made the process easy. I'd go there again. Let's just hope the Odyssey turns out to be the reliable, dependable car it is advertised to be.

I purchased my Accord in January of 2011 and the buying process was great in the beginning. The saleman brought the car to muy work place to look at and test drive. He was attentive to my demands and needs for the car. I got a good trade value on my VW. With that being said, it took almost six hours to put the new car keys in my hand; this was entirely too long. I appreciate the saleperson handling more than one customer, but six hours? Really? The finacial rep would stop asking to buy an extended warranty for the vehicle. its a brand new car, why would I need an extended warrranty. Thats telling me "the car is going to break down."

I went to Coggin only with a question about servicing my vehicle, but since they were busy I was completely ignored, not even given the standard, "We'll be with you in a moment" from any of the employees. When I finally did speak to someone, she seemed more annoyed than willing to help. I realize things can get hectic if it's busy, but that is no excuse to sacrifice geniality and a willingness to help the customer. Although the dealers were helpful when I bought my car from Coggin, the service has been nothing but insulting.

will I stop here for repairs. On a recent day trip to Jacksonville from Georgia our 2010 Honda Accord completely lost power. We contacted Coggin Honda of Jacksonville on Atlantic as per our owners manual(closest dealership). Well in all fairness they seem eager to help and sent a towing service right out (about 40 mins) totally understandable. We were assured priority service since this was an emergency and we were from out of town. The promises were great but the delivery was horrible. No one even looked at out car for 2 hours. And when they finally got around to it, we were informed it could not be repaired that it would take at least 2-3 days to get the parts in. I asked them repeatedly to contacted our dealership Hilton Head Honda to see what arrangements could be made other then leaving our car there for a week. They completely refused to call them. I even went as far as to call our service manager at Hilton Head Honda on my phone and tried to hand it to the service tech. Well Raymond informed me he didn't need to talk to my service manager that he wasn't the owner. That's when I completely lost it! After that they patched the car just enough to get it safe to drive. I had them give me a statement saying it was safe for the vehicle and my family to drive. Well we dropped it off at Hilton Head Honda the following day and guess what Hilton Head Honda had it completely repaired in less then 3 hours! Now that's customer service! We were at Coggin for about 5 hours and no repairs other then patch work was done. So in the event your car breaks down right in front of Coggin Honda of Jacksonville you may want to have it towed to Hilton Head Honda for the actual repairs. I KNOW I WILL! I WILL NEVER BUY OR HAVE MY CAR TOWED THERE AGAIN!!! And that's right Coggin Honda of Jacksonville I have twitted and e-mailed everyone I know and asked them to do the same to inform everyone of what complete HORRIBLE service I received from you!

I was in the market for a late model car, and Xavierra Williams was recommended to me by a coworker who bought new from her a couple years ago. Ms. Williams typically works with the new car sales, but helped me because I was a referral. I can see why Ms. Williams was referred to me. This was my first time buying a car from a reputable dealer. Ms. Williams was extremely patient with me, exceedingly helpful, and I could tell, genuinely invested in finding me the right car, at the right price. She steered me into the right vehicle, making sure it fit my lifestyle, my needs, and my budget. And she did so while always making the entire experience fun and as free of anxiety on my part as possible. I ended up buying a 2008 Corrolla from the Coggin Toyota, but Xavierra transferred it to the Honda dealership for me to save myself the time and cost of getting over there. She even offered to pick me up herself when I was ready to come out and do some test-driving. I have good feelings about the dealership itself. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, and the employees make sure that you are comfortable while waiting for different phases of the car-buying process. There's a small movie theater, food and beverage options and sitting areas to occupy your time. I will always recommend Xavierra Williams and Coggin Honda to anyone I meet who needs to buy a car.

Buying the car was an okay experience. We were there from 2:00-8:00 PM, so the process took way too long. Since buying the car, it has not started twice. I have had the battery replaced once. I have also had two TPMS sensors have to be replaced. After about a month, the passenger side window also would not go up or down. Although of these items were replaced under warranty, it is incredibly inconvenient to have these problems. It also makes me question what is going to go wrong once the car is no longer under warranty. The service advisors are not friendly at all. I accidentally called "Coggin Nissan" instead of Coggin Honda, and they were so friendly and helpful. Seriously considering trading in for a Nissan soon.

I had a horrendous experience here. It was super busy when I got there due to an ongoing sale over the weekend. I had 2 Honda Accord coupes sold out from under me. The keys for both cars were snatched out of my hands as soon as i was done teset driving. Against my better judgment I bought an Accord Sedan that was not really what i wanted. Even though the carfax did not disclose it, it became apparent within one week that the car had been in an accident. Also 7 days after I bought the car, the battery was dead and I was irritated by a rattling from insdie the car. Coggin at first balked at fixing these for free until I threated to return the car and demand my money back. They fixed both issues for free. However after driving 1000 miles the rear brakes whine when I am backing up. The car supposedly had 23,500 miles on it when I bought it. I wonder how can brakes go bad so quickly? And this is a Honda certified pre-owned vehicle!! The certification does not mean much to me at this point and I think I was sold a bum car. I am getting rid of it as soon as I won't lose my rear end trading it back in.

We went for a ride in a CR-V. Great little SUV. Norman put some numbers together and soon we had a deal. Norman makes buying a car a pleasure. No pressure. He is a good person and someone you feel comfortable working with. I am driving a new SUV and my payments are less than what I was paying for the truck. The manager was very pushy. The car purchased turned out to be in an unsafe condition verified by Firesteone that the car should have never left the lot in the condition it was in. While the sale is "as is" the dealer has a responsibility to ensure the cars they sell are at least safe to drive.

i applied for financing online after viewing the dealer's website. i was contacted the following business day and went to meet the dealer that afternoon. the dealer listened very well to my wants in a car and financial abilities. i left with a car that afternoon. i am very satisified with my purchase. we did have a few problems with financing but the dealership did what they had to do in order to make sure i got the car that i wanted. this which includes drastically reducing the sale price. overall, i am very happy with my experience. i have already referred friends and family and will most likely return for my next car purchase.

I went to the dealership looking for a used vehicle and to pay $3000 or less (including tax and tag). The salesman who greeted me, Gary Sumter, was very patient and took the time to ensure that I was satisfied with the price and condition of the vehicle I eventually agreed to purchase (2001 Chevy Metro). He permitted my mechanic come to the dealership to inspect the car and assisted me in acquiring insurance for the vehicle. He's an excellent saleman!Well, during his inspection, my mechanic found that the front axles and struts on the car were in major need of replacement. He explained to Gary and the manager the bad condition of these parts and the cost for replacements and labor (total of $500). And, without hesitation, the manager agreed to deduct the $500 from our negotiated price of the vehicle. I truly did not expect for him to agree to my request! What a surprise! Talk about providing customer satisfaction!!I would say that my overall experience at this dealership was VERY GOOD!!! The staff was very friendly and respectful; NOT PUSHY. And, Gary ensured that all my questions were answered and my purchase requirements were met. I was provided with great customer service! Thank you so much!

Xaviera Williams was my sales person and I don't think I could have asked for a better one. I have previously owned 2 honda civics. My mom wanted to test out the fit and the crv because she will also be driving my car. All the questions I could think to ask (even if they were silly) Xaviera answered knowledgeably and with confidence. She was straight to the point and I liked that. Even when my mom wanted to know if there were any other colors of the car on the lot she went through the trouble of driving us through the lot. There weren't any more civics at all on the lot, but that was okay because mom was just curious, she was happy with the silver color that was in stock. All the other employees at the dealership were friendly and congratulatory when we were going through the purchasing of the 2012 Civic. Thanks to everyone that helped, especially Xaviera.

We bought a new black Honda Pilot from this dealership because of their attention to detail in what I wanted in a car. Before my test drive, I told the salesman what I wanted in a car. He took me to that exact car, we drove it, and then I asked for a different color and an extra option. Within a couple of minutes, I was sitting in that car. We knew what we could afford, and received an excellent price without hassles. We were accomodated with our different requests, and I felt respected by each of the people that I encountered.

We just bought a new 2011 Honda Pilot and are extremely pleased with our experience at this dealership. We weren't mobbed by any salesmen when we first drove up and parked. We were waited on when we asked for someone, and he was very knowledgeable about the Pilot before, during, and after the test drive. We didn't see any manipulative ploys being used after the test drive, like we had experienced at two other dealerships. We wanted a good car at a fair price without being jerked around, and that's exactly what we got here. The next time that I buy a car will be here, and I'm going to recommend my friends and family to see them first when they're in the market for a car.

Avery, the Internet Sales Manager, was nice to talk to, but would not be specific when we asked direct questions. Jamie, the finance person, lied to us, telling us that we were REQUIRED to purchase the extneded warranty. When we finally purchased the car, none of the extended warranty paperwork was included in the final documents to us, but the purchase cost was included on the contract. Today, I called the dealer to find out why we haven't received our new tag yet, and was told that they haven't processed the paperwork with the state to issuethe tag, and thatI will have to go to the dealer to get another temporary tag. I have used Coggin dealers before, and this is NOT the experience I have experienced in the past.

I was there looking around for at least 30 minutes and not one sales person said hello or asked to help me in any way. Needless to say, I walked out and pulled in at Coggin. Xaviera & Cooky made this a very easy experience. They were wonderful to deal with on this purchase. The only time it was not pleasant was in the Financial office with Jamie. He does not take no for an answer when trying to sell the warranties. After saying no about 4 times and 30 minutes later he processed my paper work. I would use Coggin again and will recomend it to my friends and family. I love my new car.

I found the staff to be extremely pushy and deceptive, my individual salesperson was very helpful and friendly, but when I tried to leave I was confronted by multiple managers about why I wasn't buying the car then. Having been in car sales previously I found they used dishonest techniques designed to deceive and intimidate customers into buying. After informing them that I bought a brand new vehicle I continue to receive at least 3 phone calls a day in addition to emails.

A good overall experience. The sales consultant was extremely knowledgable about the product and very likeable. Probably the worst thing about the experience was the visiting with the financial manager. Though Jamie was very nice, I wasn't expecting to have all the options added at that point. I started at one price/payment and by the time I left the financial area, the price/payment had increased substanially. I could have walked out at that point but Jamie had convinced me to add the options available so now, instead of a monthly car payment, I have a mortgage payment. I am starting to like the vehicle more and more but I haven't made the first payment yet and I think I need to go to school just to learn how to operate all the controls. I went in to try a lease and was convinced to buy instead. I haven't decided if it was the smart thing to do or I'm just soft in the head.

I believe that I am fairly typical of well educate consumers in that I have a real aversion to doing business with car dealers because so they often play inane games of tagging or handing you off from one rep to another in an attempt to distract you from the fact that the "deal" they are offering is not very good. In this case, the behavior of the dealership representatives was decent and when the response was no they did not attempt to impose an unacceptable offer but rather offered more acceptable alternatives. Everyone was pleasant and responsive the only down side was the amount of time it took to complete the necessary paperwork. While the time delay was in large part due to the installation of a new back office system it seems that more might have been done to work out the kinks prior to roll out. None-the-less I would recommend the dealership and the people I did business with - in all cases the individuals were experienced.

Had purchased my new CRV from this dealership and was very happy at the time. I recieved and e-mail that my 1st service appointment was set, I was not available to make it in at the appointed time so I called to reschedule for today at 10 AM the person I spoke to was nice said no problem and rescheduled. I had asked approximately how long it would take he said about 45mins. Thought that was a little long for an oil change but OK. Went in today for my appointment and got there and was told that it would be about an hour and a half, that was not OK I did not have that amount of time available, was told sorry but we got busy, said I had an appointment, was told did not need an appointment for an oil change and if I was there 40 minutes earlier it would have been quicker. Had I known that I would have been in at my convenience which is why I thought the appointment was for? Needless to say I left without getting my 1st service done because I did not have the time to stay, and my time was wasted. Not Happy With Service Department.

They were willing to work with me to find a car in my price range and within 2 hours I had selected my car. I have been using Coggin Honda since the Lease of my 2008 Honda Civic in November '07. I was looking to buy out my lease, and instead drove away with a new 2012 Civic.Max was very patient with me, and got me to understand that even though I was paying a little bit more per month, it was worth it in the long run for a purchase than the lease.I then spoke with John in discussing my financial terms. I really did not think I would be able to make the purchase after buying the security packages necessary (such as GAP).I was above my extreme limit of the car payment, but John and I were able to agree on certain terms to bring my monthly payment to a reasonable amount. While I went for a 72 month instead of a 60 month max (as I anticipated), I've never been more pleased with the purchase and protection of my new vehicle.It's people like Max and John as to why I have been a loyal Honda customer since my first Honda purchase in 2004. This means a lot from somebody who used to work at a Ford Plant in Dearborn, MI ;-)

Gary and the whole staff at Coggin Honda worked really hard to come to an agreement on the price of the vehicle we wanted. They gave us all possible options for reducing our take home price. I recently purchased a New Honda Touring Elite from Coggin Honda by way of internet, phone, and mail correspondence. In other words, I bought the vehicle sight unseen. This particular vehicle I bought was a hard to find model in my area (Greenville, SC) and commanded a higher than normal price due to high demand.The salesman I worked with was Norman Daniels. I can't say enough superlative adjectives to describe how well he treated me. Admittedly, I was slightly anxious about purchasing a vehicle, but with my own research, I knew what kind of car I was getting and knew my price limit. Mr Daniels, however, offered the car at a price lower than my initial offer- What a pleasant surprise. My experience in buying my new car was awesome. Cooky as she is called, was our sales agent and she was very helpful in everything and very accomodating. She knows her product well. An awesome experience overall! Sergiy helped me and my family test drive a few different cars as I tried to decide which one worked best to replace my older vehicle. When I did make my choice, the dealership was set up to help keep our 3 year old occupied while we worked through the details of the deal. When we determined the car I wanted wouldn't be in the showroom for a few days, they gave me a new loaner vehicle to use until my car came in. When we noticed a scratch on the interior of my new 2012 Civic, Sergiy made sure I got a service appointment to correct it right away. The service department had me in and out within 30 minutes. I will definitely do business with the dealership again and suggest them to friends :D

Sergiy Bilayev was my contact. He is a very friendly and likable individual. He was very knowledgable about the specific details of the car. He was also very attentive to my needs. He always returned my calls and kept me informed of the status of my order. I was completely satisfied with his efforts. I would purchase another car from Coggin if he was my contact.My main concern is with the dealership and its relationship with the factory. There was a long delay in getting the car (4 months). I assume this was due to the earthquake in Japan and is comletely understandable. However, there seemed to be a great reluctance (even a fear) by the dealer in wanting to contact the factory for status of the order. As a result, the dealer was unable to accurately predict the arrival date of the vehicle. This resulted in a change in travel plans with additional expenses due to not having a high passenger vehicle available to me when I traveled.Overall, I am very pleased with my vehicle.

Cooky Little was extremely helpful, courteous, and informative. I bought Honda the next day as I'd done a lot of research into the CRV, which I'd determined was the car for me. The price seemed excellent. Many of the people in sales came up to me, congratulated me and were super friendly. I don't remember being treated so nicely at my former dealership. She was very patient with me and understood my needs, and answered all my questions. What more could I ask for!Overall, it was a delightful experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cooky, all the people I met there, and Coggin Honda in general to everyone.

I went to Coggin Honda on Sunday May 15 to look at the Honda Insight. At the time I was driving a 2002 Acura RSX Type S, a car that had given me over three years of reliability and good service. I didn't really NEED a new car but was very curious about a hybrid vehicle and, with the Acura approaching 100k miles and no warranty left, wanted to look at options for upgrading my car with something newer. That's when I met Alberto. He was polite, understanding that I may not purchase a vehicle and was simply "looking." He showed me the Honda 2011 CRZ EX, which to me was the perfect blend of economical and the sporty look I had grown accustomed to with my Acura. We took it for a test drive then started talking about maybe making something work. We went over figures. Originally my figures were too high for what I was looking to spend. He understood this, left and came back, and presented a new figure which was quite the bargain considering how much negative equity was left on my Acura. I agreed to it, we went through everything and I went to finance. David Mason was kind enough to help me through everything I needed to sign. He explained the warranty system. I knew I was stretching the ceiling as far as what I could pay but I knew how much the peace of mind of a warranty meant to me. As I stated before, the Acura I had was a great car but I had no warranty or GAP coverage on it. I felt like I was one mishap away from a 3000$ repair job! I paid a little extra and got a good warranty which fit my budget and will cover anything that happens for the length of my loan. David was great in helping me find the right one for me and even figured out a way to include the interior/exterior package in the deal. Afterwards, I went out and got my Acura cleaned out and my new Honda all set up. Alberto was nice enough to help me get my XM radio out of the old car. In the end, I can't say enough good stuff about the great service I received at Coggin Honda and will definitely recommend this location. Alberto was nice enough to call me twice and follow up on the sale, which I appreciated very much. Again, a big thank you to Alberto and David for helping me make a purchase on a car I will likely be driving for a long time!

I contacted Sergiy through an internet inquiry for a Honda Fit for my daughter. She had already test driven the "Fit" at another dealership previously, but that dealership did not seem eager to make the deal work for her. (They seemed fat and happy- and came across as not needing to negotiate or work with people) Sergiy responded immediately and right from the beginning he seemed committed to helping us have a great car buying experience. He did not pressure us, but he was polite, listened attentively, had good suggestions, actively sought out answers and was a font of information about this car and about Honda. He wanted us to feel totally satisfied that we had found what we wanted in the car and our car deal. I appreciate that so much. When buying a car and writing out my monthly payment, I don't want to feel disappointed or frustrated, I want to feel joyful, and that's what I wanted for my daughter! We have to thank Paul too. He told us about the financing special that turned out to be better than what our bank could do. We spent quite a bit of time on the internet and the phone working out a lot of particulars in advance because we live two and a half hours from this dealership. I did not want to get there and have any unpleasant surprise to make having 5 hours of driving feel like a waste of time. It was about 2:30 in the afternoon when we received the quote via email and we set off to Jacksonville. The anticipated time of arrival was about 5:20 and the dealership was closing at 6:00pm. We got there at 5:30 and Sergiy was stepping out the door to see us as we parked. I recognized him from the internet picture and waved so we all knew we had found each other. After that long drive, we took a quick break for freshening up, then my daughter and Sergiy were off to take a drive in her new car. When they returned, they went to look at her old car to trade, and then we sat down to confirm numbers. There were no terrible surprises, just small details to take care of. Everything was up-front and as we had expected from our phone work. We were so involved in the process, that we really didn't pay attention to time going by us. When we finished hearing about the manuals and warranty information, we went on to work with the gentleman who did the paperwork. Unfortunately,I am not sure I got his name right. This may have been Don or Dan- I apologize for not remembering the name- but he was also very helpful and patient with us. We had lots of questions and wanted to make sure we understood what we were signing and needing to know. This guy was so personable and helpful. As time went by, we happened to look out and realized it was getting dark. We did not have any idea how much time it would take to go through the whole process! All these people had encourage us to come on to Jacksonville, knowing it meant they would work late! We apologized to everyone for keeping them, but not one of them seemed at all put out or inconvenienced, they were constantly gracious hosts for us. When the paperwork was finished, we went back to Sergiy to receive keys and be escorted us to the new car. Sergiy had the old car sitting right next to the new one so we could transfer things and then he reviewed the working of the key, locks, lights (now it was dark!) and wipers, cruise control, etc. He stayed to make sure my daughter felt familiar with the controls and was comfortable heading home (another two and a half hour drive for us). Sergiy made us feel that buying this car was about us and what we wanted, not what someone else wanted to sell us. Every single person we came in contact with at this dealership smiled and offered us courtesy/refreshment. We were treated like guests and our hosts were wonderful. We are glad we went the distance to Jacksonville and feel very proud to have had the opportunity to meet Sergiy and to have worked with him in buying our Honda Fit. Thank you to everyone at Coggin Honda of Jacksonville, and a very special thank you to Sergiy.

Xaviera Williams did a great job with finding out what I was looking for and needed in a new car. I test drove two types of vehicles. Before taking the car out for a test drive she showed and explained to me the engine, spacious trunk, and the various options of the Honda Accord available. Ms. Williams had the calculations for the trade in of my auto and the cost of the Honda Accord in a timely manner which helped me when I was trying to make a final decision. At first I had thought I wanted a lighter exterior color but ended up with a burgundy red exterior and a light tan interior. Really like the car and glad I made the decision I made. Now I'm making excuses to take the car for a ride.

I was greeted before I even went inside the building, and as soon as Morris asked me if I needed any help, he was on the job, answering my questions and patiently showing me everything I wanted to know about the car--even stuff I didn't think to ask. He checked on me through every step of the buying process, even after the finance manager took over. Xaviera was great I went to many other dealerships before this one. I needed to trade 2 cars and buy 2 to replace them. One car I owned it was a dodge truck that gave me a lot of problems and I wanted out of it. The only way to get out of it was to trade a 2007 Honda cr-v in that had 130000 miles and I owed $11,800.00 on it. I did love the cr-v I was trying to stay as close as i could to my current monthly payment on 1 vehicle but get 2. Xaviera was the only one that took the time to help. I went to many other dealerships and was turned down because of the miles on my cr-v and the amount i owed. Xaviera was great i leased a new cr-v and bought a new 2012 civic both are ex's. my payment only went up around $100.00 more a month but the gas savings will help cut that down. I am very satisfied and the 2012 civic rides so good and my wife loves her new cr-v. I highly recommend this dealership and Honda.

We went to this dealer armed with a pre-approval from our bank and extensive research on the car we wanted to see. The salesman, Gary, was patient and gave me space while I examined the vehicle. I inspect construction sites for quality at work so this did take some time. At no time did I feel like I was being "sold" the car. I gave them a chance to beat what my bank had offered me and they did by a significant percent. We walked away with an excellent car at a deal that I am very happy with.The only down side was that the car's interior looked as if it had been cleaned, but a lot of dirt was still there in things like the center console and behind the various handles. Their detailing needs to slow down and look a little deeper before they put the car out on the lot.

We had a good experience working with George at Coggin Honda of Jacksonville. He was very professional and friendly. We had a challenge with financing our used vehicle, which is odd, since I've always thought that "anyone" could get financed for a car. I guess that's the deal in today's economy. We did get some bad news about the 'Certified' portion of the vehicle. Strangely enough, Honda rejected the 'Certified' classification of this used vehicle, so Coggin is giving us a "comparable" warranty, instead.

I went into the dealer to check out the CRZ(hybrid). I really had no intention of buying a new car yet. Gino came right out and before I knew it I was test driving a CRZ. Gino gave a great upsale performance of the car and its features. The dealing process was completely opposite of how buying a car normally is. My fiance and I were laughing and having a good time with both Gino and John throughout the whole process. They both really made this car buying experience a one of a kind, very enjoyable. I have been researching the CR-V and was finally ready to purchase a new vehicle. I went in with a list of specifics hoping to make the process more efficient; however, once there, I became a little undecided in the color after seeing it in person. He genuinely showed an interest in customer satisfaction and worked very diligently to negotiate the final price and make us the happy owners of a 2011 Honda CR-V EXL. Felt very easy and at no pressure whatsoever to be obliged to accept the dealer's options at any point. Very professional and at the same time personal approach, met the concerns and confusions of a first time buyer and was never pushed around. Very comforting and enjoyable experience (except that he couldn't recommend a good place to eat lunch.. not prepared for that question I supposed). In the end it was an easy day and hopefully after sales experience won't be any bad.Would definitely recommend to give them a chance, can save you a good sum of bucks and few sales hassles as well.

Sales lady showed patience to detail operations and control of 2011 Honda Civic Lx. Gave me options with minimal costs and allowed me to customize car at minimal cost. She also explained how servicing the vehicle works and introduced me to some of the amenities in the service area.
