My 2 year old car with only 27,000 miles had a dead battery (and a flat tire but battery under warranty). Got towed in by AAA with my 16yr old daughter on a Friday evening. No loaner cars for us to use, the courtesy shuttle was there but they said no driver to take us home so my 16yr old daughter and I were stranded at the dealership. The AAA driver gave us a ride home. Appreciated AAA tow truck driver!! He said he couldnt leave us stranded on a Friday evening. KIA could and did!!! Not really happy with KIA. Consumer affairs is next call.

Jonathan Martinez is amazing! He went out of his way to take care of my car. I received a recall notice for a few items. Once the repairs were completed, instead of calling me through the loud speaker on the lobby, he walked over to me and told me my car was ready to go! Once he handed me the receipts of the work done, he proceeded to walk me to the door and hold the door open for me. What a gentleman! He turned a not so great situation into an opportunity to show me great service and professionalism. Treat me as though I matter. I recommend anyone with a KIA to go see Jonathan:-)

Came to buy my son a car and could not believe how amazing the salesman Ray was. He truly went above and beyond for me and my son and is honest to God the only reason I purchased my sons K5. He treated us like royalty bought us Starbucks made sure my daughter wasn't hungry He just went so far above my expectations I was blown away. The people at this Kia go above and beyond to help out their customers. The main person that I dealt with from choosing the car, doing the pre-approved financing online and making sure I got the car that I wanted was Louis. He went out of his way to take pictures of the car that I was looking out because I wasn’t sure of the color and making sure and sent them to my phone. He took the time to figure out payments for me on different cars because again I wasn’t sure what I wanted. He was incredibly patient with me making decisions, quick to respond to any of my questions and was just overall incredibly nice and very professional. The person that took care of all of our paperwork and financing when we did go in to purchase the car was again very nice and very professional; unfortunately I do not remember her name. The process of getting preapproved, getting the car that I decided on and getting all the paperwork and financing done was taken care of over a couple days and when we finally had to go in for the paperwork it did not take long at all and the car was ready. Everyone at this Kia dealership was absolutely wonderful but I really just wanna give a huge shout out to Louis; he was so courteous, friendly, efficient and very professional. I would highly recommend this dealership and I would highly recommend dealing with Louis any time you need a new Kia.

I had looked at various car dealerships and became very uncomfortable with the "hovering" of the salesmen at these dealerships. i had said, Ii'm just looking, yet they "hovered" around me and my family until we decided to leave. KIA West Covina was so different! We were given space and time to "look around." Robert Y. was knowledgeable, patient, and made our buying experience such that we bought 2 KIA cars. Had my window broken into, took it to Covina Valley Kia and the customer service was good, the timing was reasonable, the staff friendly but the attention to details was very much lacking. Glass was all over the inside of my car and I requested the glass to be vacuumed out completely... after sending it back 3 times, unsuccessfully, the Mngr finally took it himself and it was better but I have been finding glass all over my car ever since. So much so that under the front seat it doesn't even look like they got under there. For me to give a higher score, especially a 5, it would require going above and beyond and it was just an ok experience. TELLING me to rate them HIGH/Perfect at the end of my service doesn't help either (printed out an example of a perfect survey rating and told me this is what they need from me to get the full score value)....earn it and you won't have to TELL/MANIPULATE me into rating you high. I appreciate the kind customer service but doing an excellent job on the required service is equally important to keep me going back!

Service tech Larry needs to be retrained in customer service. On 9/17/16 went in for service and said it was my fault for scheduling a recall service on a weekend because all they do is basic maintance. Its MY FAULT because I should know as if I work there. Seriously do you guys don't communicate? So now I'm stuck driving a truck whos horn doesn't work,has a recall on the axles,has electrical problems way to go KIA.

As the driver of this car and the only driver I have been very unhappy with this whole ordeal, my car does not drive well, i have made many complaints but no one listens. My last visit on 08-24-16 was probably one of the best experiences so far William the gentlemen helping me seemed genuine and concerned. The last few visits have been unreal not to mention 8-22-16 visit I was helped by Mike I asked Mike kindly if i should wait or will it be a while he stated Im on it so i sat in the lobby for about an hour i finally got up and asked hi whats going on? Made a call to ask about purchasing a car but we had horrible credit. The salesman Juan said no worries apply and we will call you back. Now we did not think they would call. 5 mins later Hugo called us and said come on in and we can work with you. We arrived and we were greeted by Frank Elliot and he rolled out the red carpet and was up for front and honest with us but never made us feel that they could not help us. The sale team Juan, Ray, Hugo and Frank took awesome care of us. Frank asked about our family and we explained we needed a van because we were adopting 3 little boys and we needed a bigger family car. They worked so hard for us and yesterday we were able to drive away with a 2016 Kia Sedona. I cried when they called me with the good news. Our boys are so excited. Called this place to get a new battery put into my 2014 Kia Optima. Not only did they have this battery in stock, but Danik was very helpful and professional over the phone I did not feel rushed and he gave me a same day appointment on a Saturday. Upon my arrival I was promptly greeted by the employees in the service center . The whole process took no more than 20 minutes tops. I am very pleased at the service I received here, the staff is very professional, warm and welcoming and not to mention very knowledgeable. On my way out I was explaining to Danik about another issue I was experiencing before my battery died and another co-worker overheard and was able to explain further on where this other issue was originating from. I was very pleased with the information I was receiving from him although I wish I would have gotten his name. Overall, my experience here was amazing come see Danik and the rest of the service department crew in the service department. You won't be disappointed.

I had experience, a starter problem I took my car in for service, I was told in would take 3 days to complete the repairs, but it actually took 5 days, I was not offerer or suggested alternative transportation, such as a courtesy loaner car or car rental place. The job was completed I was satisfied with the work, the parts were under wanrnty, however my car was returned dirty and filled with bird dropings.

This was only my second visit or service to my new Kia since I bought it. The purchase and first service was very good and professional and everyone in the service center was very helpful and attentive. However, this last service visit was the total opposite. I actually made an appt. to drop my car off, when I got there was 1 tech helping a customer and two others talking and walking around. I actually stood there for 10 to 15 minutes before anyone said a word or asked if they could help. Picking up my car was the same experience I stood there while everyone walked around, I finally paid and checked out and I was told my car was coming up and getting windows cleaned. However I stood there for 10 min waiting as I can visually see my car parked and no one getting it. I finally demanded my keys and went back and got my own car and no the windows weren't cleaned.Purchasing the car at Covina Kia was a Great Experience everyone was very helpful and attentive but the service dept. was quite the opposite

The purchasing process was wonderful it was quick and I was approved based on my credit and income in an extremely timely manner. I paid 0 down and walked away from the dealership having only signed a contract. I decided to leave the vehicle and I decided to pay the extra money to purchase the maintenance package which I believe is probably worth it. However when I ran over a nail I was not sure if they would cover that repair or not so I decided to call the dealership first. I was told by the service department that they can definitely pick up my tire if it is possible for a charge of $30. So I drove down there and once I walked in the service department I stood there for over 45 minutes without even being acknowledged. The service team not know anything about customer service they do not even greet you when you walk in I was literally standing there staring at them and all they would do was look down or look at the computer or be on the phone or walk outside but they would just avoid any customers that walk in at all costs when I finally I got someone's attention... I was told that in fact they actually do not patch tires because of a liability issue! DONT GET YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED HERE! The manager tried to make it up to me by saying that they can make an exception for me and patch my tire. And even more he said that they would do it for free! I was relieved to hear this! But after waiting another 45 minutes finally somebody wandered over to me and told me that in fact my tire was not repairable and I would have to buy a new one for a hundred $173! I decided to look for the tire myself online and I found it at Walmart for $84! WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME! I'm I'm definitely not coming back here vehicle service and I'm definitely not referring anybody to this dealership.

I am a West Covina resident who purchased acertified pre-owned 2013 Kia Optima from a Kia dealership in Orange County. The vehicle had 24K miles at time of purchase. After six months, the battery died and the vehicle had 26K miles. Sinse I live in West Covina, I decided to call Covina Valley Kia for help. I was transfered to Phil, a service advisor at Covina Valley Kia. Phil walked me through the Certified roadside assistance to grt my car towed to the dealership and was there waiting to help me when my car arrived.Phil wrote up a service ticket and had my vehicle electrical charging system completely checked. The final conclusion was the battery was bad and needed to be replaced. After replacing the battery, I drove away feeling confident that my vehicle's elctrical system was back to reliable factory standards. Thanks Phil!!

I delt with Miriam Hermandez, she was great! she was honest and very pleasurable she made me feel very comfortable. I first contacted your dealership Via the Internet. The responder was very courteous and the experience was enjoyable. I also appreciated the no pressure communication. Once I was contacted by Marian the experience improved from there. She answered all my questions and researched the vehicles I was interested in. She verified your stock and got back to me with the information and my options. I felt very confident after talking to her it was not just another salesperson trying to get me to the dealership to make a sale. I drove approximately 100 miles to your dealership to view the vehicles I was interested in all at one place. When I got there Marian had them all on display. I had to visit the service department twice, they try to make you feel that you don't know what you are talking about, when you are the one driving the car and know that something is wrong. The first time was about a week after I bought the car, it would not drive straight especially on the freeway. If you corrected to the right then it continued to go to the right, then you would correct to the left and it would continue to the left. When I took it to the dealer to have them correct the problem, there first reply to me was that I was not use to driving a car with today's technology. It took three visits and 8 hours of my time for them to correct the settings to make the car drive straight. My second problem with the car was when the car was two and a half years old with 35000 miles and the front wheel bearing went bad. I was told that it would be safe to drive on the freeway while they ordered the part. (wrong) and they would call me when the part came in. Well they never called me so I called after a week to check on the parts, I was told "sure the parts are here". I asked why no one called me, The reply was "the service person that ordered the part was out sick, and he would have called when he returned to work. On the diagnoses paper it stated the the front left bearing was bad due to to much play in the axle. I asked if the axle and boot was repaired along with the bearing and I was told that it wasn't necessary,but if the play in the axle caused the bearing to fail in such a short time won't it happen again. ( oh but wait the car won't be under warranty next time.) It seems to me that a band-aid was put on the problem.

The customer rep who was manning the desk was courteous and efficient and doing the best he could. But there was a (short) line of customers waiting and the phones were ringing off the hook, and he had to do everything, including writing up the service orders and looking up things on the computer for waiting phone clients. Adding just one more person at the desk could have greatly alleviated the pressure off the service rep and made for a much more efficient operation, taking better care of everyone, from the phone-ins to the customers waiting to be served, to the reservations who had to wait in the same line, to the customers coming in to pick up their cars, not to mention wear and tear on the man doing all the work behind the counter.

I was having an electrical problem with my car and took it to Kia of Cerritos where I had the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I took my car to Covina Valley Kia and received the best customer service. It was like night and day. Everyone in their service department is kind even though they are so busy every time I come in there. I am always treated with respect even if I don't understand the "car talk" they are telling me they are always willing to explain it in further detail. I will continue to drive 20 miles out of my way to take my car to Kia of West Covina instead of Kia of Cerritos.

The associates at this Kia dealership was extremely nice & was having my boyfriend and I feel like we were buying a very nice and great quality car. This process did take a few hours but the very last step of signing papers took very long and I did not enjoy waiting so long. With that I hope the process of the final steps of signing the contact can be a little bit quicker. The gentleman that did explain the final details and all the bells and whistles that come with the car, did very much had me feel extremely happy with my purchase. Wes Parker and his agency agreed to take care of the first two payments of my lease. However, after a couple of months, I was contacted by collection services, who kept inquiring about my unpaid balance. After explaining this situation to Wes and the store manager several times, I have not received a satisfying response, nor any payments to this day. This being said, I would have never gone to this dealership had I known these people do not know how to honor what they agree upon.

My wife and I both were pleased with the service at Covina Valley Kia. The one improvement are we had was the level of consistency in their communication. When we had their service representative Greg on our case, the communication was constant and fluid. We got another rep named Mike, and we felt we constantly had to chase him for status. It would be nice for their Customer Service to be consistently awesome.

I was passing through Covina on my way back down to San Diego, and I needed a battery for my car, and an oil change. I had procrastinated for a month. I pulled off Citrus and pulled into Covina Valley Kia. Jay from service helped me out and I got to meet the service director too. they had Starbucks Coffee for me while I waited, and i sat and watched some b ball on the Huge flat screen while I waited. I paid a fair price for the battery, service, and they even washed my ride. Came back a couple of months later and I bought an Optima. Ask for Josh, James, or Wes! They hooked my wife up with a great car. I would drive over 120 miles for any of my car needs because of the staff, and the cool family friendly atmosphere. Felt like I was home. Go see these guys! :)

I made an appointment to get my car serviced. When I showed up and told them that, they didn't seem that concerned. When I made the appointment, I had specified exactly which service package I wanted. The man obviously didn't have that information, though, because he tried to sell me what I had already registered for. I was then told it would take 2 hours and 20 minutes (!), which seemed way too long for something that had been scheduled ahead of time. In the end, my car was not ready for 3 hours. For that time, I got to wait in the lobby with a broken coffee machine and a repairman hammering things into a wall.The representative was friendly, although I was a bit put off when he came to inform me about some minor things that needed to be done but did not have a firm cost for them (and, when I inquired and he actually checked, he had underestimated on both things).

I recently bought a new Kia at an out-of-state dealership. After only one month, the left side of the bumper is starting to become unattached from the rest of the car. I made an appointment at Covina Valley Kia, and the service adviser dismissed it as a body shop issue, rather than as a manufacturing defect. Of course, this would put the financial burden on me, not Kia. He stated that my car must have been hit even though he could not find any evidence to support that conclusion. He quickly dismissed me. He even stated, "Plastic doesn't dent," when I asked him where he thinks I was hit. This service adviser clearly didn't want to deal with my situation and admit that this was probably a manufacturing error. I contacted the dealership through their website and have not been contacted by the service manager. This service department has no idea what customer-oriented service is.

BOTTOM LINE: Customer Service here is VERY BAD! They will treat you somewhat nicely when you want to buy/ lease a car and after that they don't care about you anymore. They basically turn their back on you once you have problem with your car. ALL they say is its your own responsibility and anything can happen. Even if it is less than a week of ownership. I would NOT recommend you to go to this place at all. I wouldn't come back at all I'll probably find some other KIA dealership for my service. I have no problem working with Sal (sales) because he was pretty helpful and tries to help solve your problem but everyone else just seemed like they don't care. Sal helped me get a new car and calls me couple of time asking if I was satisfied with the car.I recently leased 2015 Kia Sorento. The whole paper work process took 5 hours. On top of that, the day I got the car, I realized they gave a wrong spare key- they gave me KIA Optima spare key instead when I have leased a Sorento. I have to go back to the dealership, waited for a long time for assistance and they finally exchanged it for the correct one. They said give us a five star rating and we will give you a free car wash. Less than a week later, there is a problem with my tire. The service department said that the tire is leaking air because they found a pinhole INSIDE the wall of the tire. They keep telling us it is our own responsibility to make sure everything is okay with the car but how do you make sure when something it is an internal problem. I would understand that if a nail is found OUTSIDE the tire then I would willingly pay for a new one but this is clearly not my fault. They said anything can happen when you bring the car out of the dealership. The way they handled this situation was also HORRIBLE, I have never ever in my life received this kind of bad customer service. They could have said "hey check with the tire warranty company or I will see what I can do." but instead they just say there is nothing else we can do and you have to buy a new tire. Make sure you guys check EVERY single detail of your car because they will say you are responsible with everything the moment you step out the dealership. We had to pay over $160 for a brand new Kumho tire because there is nothing they can do. This is not even a week of ownership yet. Imagine what would happen if it is over a month..... They will probably give you a worse service.

I bought a used car and i had some problems with it. The service department were very rude when i was not satisfied with their work. my car was damaged by them and they accused me that i damaged the car myself.i cant believe the service i was given. i bought this car which was not cheap and its not even 2 weeks having the car and i have so many problems. i will not bring my car for service here i prefer the honda dealer they give me very good service. although the finance department was very helpful in helping me to resolve my problem and i really appreciate their help. i hope the service department will improve their service otherwise they will loose alot of business. thanks alot finance department for your help i will need your help again soon. Its a shame to pay alot for a car and not even pay the first car payment and already something wrong with the car the service department manager could have been more understanding. this is the worst experience i have ever had with any car dealer and the first experience that was bad. I bought my car here because first impression with the salesperson was very good and financing department but the service department killed my whole good expectation. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP!! This is the worst place to get a car. Since I got the car Ive been having several issues with it. First of all, all of their brand new cars are dirty from the inside and outside like if they have been already used. Signing all the paperwork took about 5 hours. They kept telling me that they were busy and that they were trying to get all the paperwork together. Then, they requested additional documents, which was fine, but they were asking for it one by one every 10 minutes. Being organized should be a priority. It took about 5 hours to finally see the financing guy and sign the contract. To my surprise when we got the car, it was still dirty and with food stains inside. They asked me to come back the next day to get it clean and assured me that I didnt need an appointment since the service guys would already know about the issue. When I went back the first thing I was asked was if I had an appointment, but I explained the situation and nobody seemed to know what I was talking about. I waited 3 hours and nothing was done. When the car was ready, it came out the same way and one of the managers, Josh, apologized and asked me to come back the next day. Long story short, they offered me a rental car for the next visit and it was supposed to be just ready to pick up, but in reality you have to fill out some paperwork, put your own credit card and deal directly with the rental car company. They pay for the rental but you are still responsible of returning the car with the gas tank filled up. Was it my fault that the car they sold was dirty and all messed up? Definitely Not!!. The next day I get a call that I had to go back to finish signing some other paperwork when everything was supposed to be all done!. This was already 3 days in a row wasting time and going back to the dealership. On the other hand, they also offer a free car wash service for life. Do not waste your time using this service!! I waited for 2:15 hours to get my car washed! And again, when my car was ready, It came out with spilled oil all over. I got pictures of it, too bad I can't post them here. When I asked the service man, he just offered to take it back after wasting my time for 2 hours when they originally said would take 45 minutes. To my surprise they didnt vacuum the inside too. I dont know what type of management they have but this is the worst customer service Ive seen. There are only 3 people here that seem to be doing their job but unfortunately the rest of the staff ruins their reputation. AVOID this dealership. I dont like writing reviews but all these situations have really pissed me off. Would I buy a car from this place again? Definitely NO! Would I recommend it to a friend? Definitely NO! I would try going to the FORD, NISSAN or Honda dealerships in the area before visiting the Covina Valley Kia. I have visited the previous dealerships with friends when buying a car and they havent struggled this much when signing the agreements and getting their cars. You get a call a week or so after buying the car from different people from the dealership asking about the service they provided you while getting the car, but even if you tell them, they just ignore it. If the dealership is so worried about getting a 10 in the survey they send, maybe they should do a better job when training the staff and also by keeping their cars in a clean and good condition. Way to go Covina Valley Kia trying to make more customers but making them to stay away from your company by your own actions.

Met Steve Kanady in Dec., wasn't quite ready to buy. He kept in touch for 6 mos. and I finally went to see him. He did his best to work with my financial situation, assisted with my trade-in. I had brought in an ad and he explained it to me and found a car that we test drove and thought would suit my needs. Everyone at this dealership was friendly, thoughtful and easy to work with. WARNING!!!! Do not buy a car from this dealership!. They will low-ball you on your trade and steal your registration if you do not deal with them. Be careful of bait and switch.I should have listened to the other reviews before doing business with Covina Valley Kia. I negotiated a deal with their internet sales manager SIERRA VAN OLEPHEN. I already had a deal in place for a KIA Sorento for another dealership and the value of my trade. I communicated this to SIERRA and she informed me that she could beat that price by $300 and would be fair on my trade. I made it very clear that I did not want to play the car sales game and for her to bait and switch me when I got there. She guaranteed me that this would not be the case and to come on in. After reviewing the Yelp reviews I was a bit apprehensive to say the least, but wanted to believe the people with 5 stars. BIG MISTAKE.I drive an hour and a half in traffic to Covina Valley Kia hoping to be treated fairly. I quickly learned that would not be the case. I was told that our agreed upon deal was okay and the manager just needed to value the trade. I gave them my keys and registration card that they asked for. The manager then told me that he would only give me 7k for my trade. I reminded SIERRA about our previous conversations and that I was not happy. Prepared that this might happen I brought with me emails from another dealer that valued my car at $10k as well as "http://autotrader.com instant offer" paperwork that Kia Dealerships use for trades that valued my car for $10k as well. Sierra then lied to me and told me the manager researched the car online and it was only worth $7k. I then informed them that I wanted my things back and we would not be making a deal due to their abhorrent sales tactics. The next day I bought my Sorento from another Kia dealership for the same price Covina Kia was offered and received $9.8k for my trade. I was informed by the dealership that I bought my car from that my trade was worth between 9.5k-10k based off of http://autotrader.com, kbb, and the dealership wholesale auctions. When i told them about what Covina said they scoffed and said that Covina was sleazy. When signing the paperwork for the new car I realized that Covina had kept my registration. The new dealership informed me that this was a common practice of unethical dealers and that they did it to make me come back. I called over to Covina to request my registration card and the manager asked me why I didn't do the deal with them. I told him it was because he lowballed me on my trade and he inquired how much I got from the dealership I was at. After I told him within seconds he informed me that they had lost my registration card and he hung up the phone.I then had to go to two different dmvs to get the registration card so I could complete the deal. I am now happy with my new Sorento and thoroughly disgusted by the sales practices of Covina Valley Kia.

Anthony was always courteous, was never aggressive and was always willing to answer all my questions. I was very happy with him as a salesman. I also want to mention the negative scores and negative feedback that I gave to Anthony on the KIA survey was because of warrantee issues I was having with other workers at KIA. They told me that if I canceled my insurance I would have to raise my interest. Anthony was not involved in this, so please do not put any negative blame on him. The matter was resolved by someone in finance named Hugo. It took me two days to find someone to let me return the warrantee without any problems. I will not mention the names of the people that were telling me bad things in regards to this matter, because I am not this way, but thanks to Hugo, the matter was resolved and I am not resolved right and fair and happy. Like I said, once again, my salesman when I was dealing with him was as good of a salesman as he possibly could've been. He had some days off when these matters occurred. After being turned down by 5 dealerships and smaller auto sales companies I finally stumbled upon Covina Valley Kia and Ted. Before even running my credit Ted promised me he could get me a car, so my husband and I drove from Murrieta to Covina just to see Ted. We ended up leaving with a Kia Forte but Ted called us back up there and got us into a bigger, nicer car. A Toyota Rav 4, I have an infant so it was difficult getting the carseat in the Forte but we absolutely love this Rav 4! After being turned down time and time again we never imagined we would be walking away with a Toyota Rav 4! My husband and I were looking to buy a new car and decided to go to the Covina Valley KIA Dealership. We decided to go with the KIA because not only was it in our price range but it also received good safety reviews which is very important especially with a 2 1/2 yr. old. We were helped by a gentleman named Steven Kanady who was amazing! He was very knowledgeable about the car and was showing us all the features that it has which was very impressive. We told him what we wanted and the monthly payment we could afford and he was able to get it down to that. We didn't feel any pressure and we felt very comfortable with the staff. They were very professional and after a couple of hours we got a brand new 2013 KIA Sportage...yay!!! The financial manager, Kal Abisaab(awesome) was able to get us a good interest rate and as we were about to leave Kal came out to tell us that he was able to get us an even lower interest rate....Wow!!! The staff totally exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond to get us the best deal they could. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone and Steven and Kal are superb. James Cummings (car salesman) ensured I got exactly what I wanted including the exact color, price and payment option. I consider myself fairly savvy when purchasing vehicles whether online or at the dealer to where I commonly do it for friends and family. This experience was unique because I was purchasing a new vehicle and then having it shipped to New Mexico. From the minute I submitted my online request to when I was contacted by Ted and Josh, I have nothing but praise for the employees and the Covina Kia dealer. The vehicle they quoted had not yet arrived and they gave a projection date on its arrival. In the meantime Ted took the time to show me a similar vehicle and go over all the options. I hd done my own research but was impressed by Teds knowledge. From there the application was submitted and had an instant decision. On top of that Josh showed me the invoice in case i had a suspicion as to their bottom line pricing. All i can say is there was no haggling, they were responsive, they were open and upfront about pricing, they were patient with me in the process, they were super efficient, and they have excellent customer service. After purchasing the vehicle there have been a couple of hiccups to no fault of the dealer, I contacted Wes and Shawn via phone, because Ted and Josh were not available. To my surprise they were extremely helpful and picked up where Josh and Ted left off even though they were part of the initial deal. Went there with my wife to BUY a used Honda Civic. No problem with the car or the salesman. Don't recall his name but he had a heavy accent. Went in to make the deal. They didn't want to budge one cent. This was a car that they had for quite some time. Oh well. I guess they didn't want my check. Was willing to pay for the car on the spot. No finance. So why does the sales manager keep talking finance? Why? Then he wants to show me another car in "the back". This car didn't even have bumpers! Are you kidding me? Oh, they are in the paint shop. Seen enough, I'm out. Went right to another dealership and bought a car that day. Five days later, get a call from "quality assurance". Tell him my story and he gives me a half hearted apology once he found out I got a car somewhere else. Next day I get a call from a different sales manager. Tell him my story. He says he is sorry and offers me the car at the price I want. I guess he wasn't paying attention when I told him at the beginning of the conversation that I already bought a car. When I told him a second time, he quickly replied "Happy new year, goodbye". What a joke. Would NEVER, EVER recommend this dealership to anyone I know. What a bunch of amateurs. The used car boss even admitted he doesn't like Kia's. They are clowns..... Take your hard earned money somewhere else.......

I walked into Covina Kia not being aware that I was going to depart the lot driving a brand new Kia Soul. Being a full time college student with a part time job, I would have not believed this to be possible. The staff at Covina Valley Kia are the absolute best, and very very kind. I had the opportunity to meet with Nick Longo, a salesman at this family owned Kia dealership where he made me feel welcome and assured me that my possibilities in driving off with a new car were great. the process was easy, surprisingly quick, and very straight after. After only two hours of being in the dealership, I had a new car. I feel very appreciative knowing that dealerships like Covina Valley Kia still exist. Went in to "look" at the Kia Sportage since I just sold my truck (30 mins prior). Looked at the highest model the red one but fell in love with the lx ( mainly the price) . They were able to find me my red one with everything I wanted and a bigger touch screen than what's stock. Also was able to get it at a great price and within my budget. Took about 4 1/2 hours die to the car was in downtown LA but worth it I love my 2013 Sportage! My first experience buying a new car and was a good one. I would recommend this Kia dealer very helpful and friendly and non pressuring.

I had previously gone to another Kia dealership and they never followed up on my interest. While doing my grocery shopping I stopped by Covina Valley Kia just to "take a look". The staff was so welcoming and inviting, I decided that I was going to purchase my new car from Coving Valley Kia, even if I didn't get it that very day. The sales process was so smooth, it changed my mind and outlook that purchasing a new vehicle does not have to be painfu, thanks to Covina Valley Kia (Mike Boice). Everyone that I met from the initial step onto the lot starting with an unbelievable, professional Sales Consultant as Mike Boice who demonstrated his knowledge of the vehicle and was able to answer all my questions beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend Mike Boice if you are ever looking to purchase a car here, no doubt about it! Finance Department Kal was able find a finance program that ensured our long term satisfaction and Parts/Service Department were very helpful on scheduling the alarm and future maintenace of oil changes neccessary, they all made me feel great about my purchase of my new 2013 Kia Optima. The gentlemen I dealt with were extremely polite and helpful. Larry was my salesman. He was so forthright and unassuming. He popped the hood before the test drive and showed me around. I have bought a couple of new cars in my 42 years, this was the first team that from sales to management to finance were outstanding and I would recommend them to anyone!

I have to say my experience with purchasing my new KIA Soul was as good as it gets. I had no pressure from any of the sales people who I worked with. They worked with me all the way through to the end to get me the deal and car I wanted. I have owned the car now three weeks and it is a joy to drive and is loaded with so many great features. The car is a computer on wheels. This car has the best warranty of any new car on the market and it has a five star safety rating. I recommend Covina Valley KIA to purchase your next new KIA.

Liars. Cheaters. After 2 1/2 hours all of a sudden the car I was ready to purchase was "incorrectly" priced. This is after I was told my deal was good to go. They give car dealerships and car salesmen a bad name.

This dealership is by far the best dealer in SoCal. I won a Kia on a game show and the dealer I was forced to use was as crooked as the day is long. But Covina was excellent in helping me with add ons, and saving me HUNDREDS of dollars vs. the original dealership.Covina Kia has made a believer out of me, and a lifetime customer.

I was shopping for a new optima and found what I wanted at covina kia after cling and talking to the manager shawn orr he assured me it was there and would be waiting for me when I got there in about an hour to my surprise it was not only there but yes it was pulled up front just like he said i went in and asked for him and he came out from his desk area and met me and had a salesman take me for a drive since he was not able to but when we got back he took me and my boyfriend into his desk and worked out an amazing deal for the car I have been looking for and in the color I wanted no changing colors no hard negotiations just a nice easy deal I am very happy with THANK YOU shawn for all your help I will send all of my friends to see you for a car.

Liked working with,the man of his word, Shawn Orr. Never before have we worked with someone so understanding to my wants and needs in a vehicle. I did not like the very first man who said "hi" to us outside...Sloppy and not knowledgeable witht he vehicles on the lot.....Shawn on the other hand not only knew the vehicles but got what we wanted within one day. Worst Kia Dealership in Southern California!!! The manager at this place Sean/Shawn was disrespectful to me and my family. I originally went in on Saturday, March 24, 2012 to see a Kia sportage. After some friendly haggling with a salesman, John Weir, we ended up at the price of $24,200 before incentives/rebates/financing. We decided to shop around to see if we could do better at another Kia dealership. On Sunday, I was ready to buy the car at another dealership (Allstar Kia of Pomona) because the deal was better, but I decided to call Covina Valley Kia again to see if they could beat it. I called back and spoke with Sean (John Weir wasn't in) and I told him about the deal that I got at another dealership. I told Sean that I would buy the car from them if they could respect the price ($24,200) before rebates, the rebates (College $750, Kia financing $500), the interest rate (2.90%), and the term (60months). He put me on hold and quickly said that they could do it if I went in that same day. I went in with my family and they began the paperwork. I though it was a done deal until they brought out a sheet with the final price. It appeared as if a 1st grader wrote it (probably to confuse me). Not only did Sean go back on his word, but he had increased the price by over $2000 from the previous agreed number that we discussed with John Weir on Saturday!!! I repeated what we had agreed upon over the phone and Sean said went back to talk to Wess, some other manager. They came out and explained to me why they couldn't give me the deal that I was given over the phone! Sean then proceeded to tell me that I never told him anything about the interest rate!!! I was ready to explode so I stood up, called Sean a "(profanity) liar" and walked out with my family. Long story short, I spent almost 3 hours there just so they could go back on their offer. I would have gone straight to Allstar Kia of Pomona afterwards but it was 9:15 already and they had closed at 9:00. Side note: Vehicles at Covina Valley Kia are about $1000 more expensive than other Kia dealers simply because they force you to purchase their paint-chip warranty which cannot be removed.
